Target is a organized store, lately they have lower prices than Walmart. It is located conveniently close to us. The store has new styles in clothes, lots of good brands on sale. Their products are better quality than a lot of other stores.

About a month before the holidays, we went to our local Target for wrapping paper, gift boxes, small appliances and gifts. The quality of the paper goods was abysmal. However, since we were interested in recyclable materials, we found them acceptable. Extremely expensive but acceptable. The small appliances were all Chinese trash, but given present day circumstances we expected nothing else, however the prices were such that we decided to skip the items offered. Clothing was not better, again Chinese trash, cheaply made, mostly plastic, and hideous in style (fashion?), Needing something to put beneath the tree, we made two purchases, both of which had to be returned.
The return process was difficult, although the young man helping us was so over-worked we really had to commend him for his patience and willingness. In short, Target is no worse than any other modern retail store. And it is no better. If I could think of better solution, I would offer it, but given modern economic realities, I doubt anything would be feasible.

Tried to get service. Forget it. The salespeople are too interested in doing the store jobs and I bought a device that tracks my steps and 3 days it was done with never to work again and the prices at Target are way higher than Walmart. So from now on Walmart gets my business and my wife could find no clothes that was to her liking but Walmart did so I did all my Christmas shopping at Walmart.

We have shopped at Target for many years. We purchase household and grocery items. Their pricing is good, the stores organized, however they tend to be out of stock for items we need; whether soy milk or sheets, frequently we have to go elsewhere to complete our list. They have redesigned most of the stores in our area, we like to shop in the one that is not remodeled, the new design makes you feel like you're at a Kmart or CVS with diagonal aisles and manogines - I hate it.

Target in Vernon Hills has always been overpriced compared to Jewel, Wal-Mart, Burlington and even many mall stores. Most clothing is from overseas, so the price is outrageous for the quality. Groceries are too costly, store is very wasteful as it doesn't offer day-old produce, bread, etc. Food is discarded-not repurposed. Not exactly my favorite store, just the closest. Time was 1:49 pm, so I waited, and waited, and of course waited for my email to pick up. Now it’s 4:30 pm and still no email, so I called the store only for some at guest service to pick up not answer then hang up. I called back several times because I am thinking that someone would pick up so that I could find out about my Drive up before just showing up. Well no answered so I go to the store, walk in and speak to someone in guest services about my order.
The person had no idea what to do. She asked five people how to find my order but that wasn’t the problem. The problem that I had besides them not having my order ready and making wait so long to get my order was when she completed my order. Now told me that all of my order was not there and no one offered to take it to my car which I think that’s what drive up service is. So I get home and half of my ordered was not there. In looking up reviews of this plan on Target's site I found that a number of people had the same complaint. The plan is being automatically added and charged without the purchaser's knowledge. We ordered an iPad from Target.com on November 22, 2018. Our item was to be delivered by December 4th. December 4th came and went and nothing was delivered. I contacted Target and they didn’t know where the item was so they offered to ship a replacement. Again nothing ever came and the iPad never shipped. Then they canceled the newest order and said they’d send another one, same thing happened. The iPad never got beyond “preparing for shipping.” The original order was still there saying arriving December 4th and I was continually told the item would be arriving any day. Finally I called and asked them to cancel the order and issue my REDcard a refund. I was told that they could not cancel my order but I would receive a refund. I decided to buy another iPad at this time and pick it up in the store.
I have called Target over 10 times and spent at least 5-6 hours of my life trying to straighten out this debacle. Today is January 10, 2019 and I called Target AGAIN this morning after being told my refund was issued 10 days ago, because of course I still have not been issued a refund. They’re telling me another 2 weeks or more because they have to “manually” issue me a refund and they are incredibly backed up apparently. Meanwhile I’m being charged interest for an item I never received, and I’m incredibly doubtful they will compensate me.
Over a month has passed and literally nothing has progressed or changed. Everything I’ve been told by various team members, and supervisors has never come to fruition. I have never been so frustrated and dissatisfied with a company I’ve done business with. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. They’re a compartmentalized disaster! I have zero confidence in Target.com and see no reason to ever give them my business again. I went to the store one hour after receiving the email. I Go to the desk and told the lady I would just get another vanilla if they had it. She scanned them and said, "It looks like we are out of vanilla but do have chocolate?" I said that is what you said you were out of? She said, "We must have got a truck in and you can go back and pick one up."
I walk back to aisle A39 and the shelf is stocked with both flavors. I take it back to desk and tell her, after waiting in line again. She says, "Oh my I don’t know why the scan said we are out." So pick up means waiting in line, going to get your own product and waiting in line again to check out which includes canceling The first order, rering up second order and waiting 1-3 days for the first transaction to go back into your account. I have to say this experience was awful. Received a gift card for Christmas and I called the 800 number and zero balance. First thing to come to mind was not activated. Today I call and they tell me I went to a fake website. I called before going to the website. Ok then tried to scan to make a purchase which wouldn’t work so had to enter the numbers in. Well someone stole the money from the card and all I got was, "Too bad. You're out of luck." The gift card department said they couldn’t give me any information but my balance from my gift card was transferred to another gift card. Why would Target allow that to be done online.
Well it was more than mine. The card that was transferred to had several transfers to that card then spent the same day. What kills me is that Target was aware that this has been happening and just kept it a secret. Just like the year in 2013 where they didn’t activate customers cards. They didn’t make customers aware of that either. So bottom line I was told to make a police report so they can investigate but they still won’t replace my gift card. So I am supposed to take their word for it. So beware of buying Target gift cards and if that’s not secure what about our Target credit cards and Target debit cards. Looks like I have to think twice about using their site again and I definitely will never purchase their gift cards.
If they would give gift receipts with the cards people wouldn’t need to look up balance and no it wasn’t given to the person that bought the gift card. I call and ask to talk to public relations and they tell me to call the gift card department and refuse to transfer me. So I was basically called stupid, there’s nothing we can do and now I learned a lesson for the next time. Well there won’t be a next time because I will just shop on Amazon. Maybe this could of happened on any site but it’s how you are treated. Amazon keeps their customers informed not a secret so the theft keeps on going!

Both Target online and the Cartwheel app, have told me that something is "in stock"; only to find out that whenever I get to my local Target, the item is "sold out".
It took hours of research before I finally found someone else's review indicating that this happens because, apparently, Target's inventory is NOT tracked in real time; and only reflects what is "in stock" as of the morning of the day in which you are browsing the site, instead of updating throughout the course of the day. For important/inconvenient/"hot" items such as special occasion/holiday orders, this is inconvenient at best and deceptive at worst on Target's part. Please update your systems!

So we called again and they apparently had been shipped to the person who bought us the gift, not us and she returned them because she thought it was just an error and didn't want them.
So then Target told us if we bought the two items they would reship them and reimburse us because they now messed up twice. Well here comes the second delivery and the items arrive in the SAME SIZE BOX with LITTLE TO NO PADDING! Very weird. So we called customer service AGAIN. When I got to the store the next morning when they opened, they said they no longer had the headphones, the night before online information was not up to date. They sent me to another Target where they had one pair left. The manager said I couldn't switch the pickup store I had chosen. I explained that they were the ones who sent me to her store since they no longer had the headphones. She said there was now a hold on my payment, which were Target gift cards, and that I couldn't purchase the headphones for a couple of days until the payment hold cleared.
I told her that that didn't make any sense, since they were the ones who had sold me the headphones with the wrong information. I went home to cancel the order and one option was ship to home. It said 2 day shipping so I clicked and then it said they wouldn't arrive for at least a week! I contacted through Live chat the Target representative who said she couldn't cancel my order even though I had only placed it 10 minutes ago! She was quite rude and no help at all. She said that since the order was in the system nothing could be done. I shop at Target every week and spend a lot of money there, but this experience has really soured me on their policy. DO NOT Make AN ONLINE PURCHASE to PICKUP in STORE! They have my $215 and I have nothing!

If you have an issue with your Target order, please be prepared to be treated so rudely and with no regard for your issue. Not only was the shipping date falsely advertised, when I called about the issue to make sure the gift I ordered would arrive on time, I was basically told I was a liar. Thankfully, I had screenshot the information and was able to send it via email. However, even then both customer service representatives (one being a supervisor) we’re both rude and insensitive. I have such disrespect for Target now. It’s such a shame!

Went to Erie store to make an exchange. I was told that I would only get part of it back because it's "on sale" (same price online that was paid at time of purchase). They did not have item available. Asked if I could use card online - told I could but then tried to order items online when I got home - can't use it. What a racket. I didn't get the item, or the purchase price, and I have a store card that is useless unless I want to drive 60 miles back to Erie to use it. Wow, what a racket - and I forgot to mention that Natalie hung up on me during live chat. Item was at my local store but according to employees they didn't have enough manpower or equipment to find my order, even though the ordered stated it would be available Dec. 24th. Manager gave me a gift card for amount paid and sent me to another target that supposedly had the item in stock, of course I get to this other Target and the item is sold out. So now the main gift that my son wanted for Christmas will not be there and the purpose of ordering online is to prevent all the frustration, crowds, and running around which I ended up doing anyway with no prevail. I am certain this review will not change anything. In the least, perhaps someone will take solace from the fact that they are not alone in experiencing such disturbingly poor customer service from Target floor employees on more than one occasion. First store I went to pick up an order. The girl insisted my order did not exist and did not offer any possible assistance, answers, acknowledgement as to why. I left the store confused, frustrated, and doubting myself. Turns out the store had cancelled my order because I didn't pick it up within the deadline. Why couldn't this have been mentioned by the girl, as a possible explanation, instead of blatant indifference to my frustration?
Today, at a different store, the cashier rang up four of something instead of three and I was overcharged. Instead of an apology and reassurance that the error will be fixed, he said "go to customer service and see what they can do." He waved his hand in the direction of some unseen service desk and then turned his back to me. I walked away, not knowing if I would actually receive help and reimbursement, nor how the hell long I was going to be made to wait. Please, thank you, sorry should be basic customer service skills. Apparently some of Target's young floor staff are not held accountable to such standards. Perhaps a touchscreen will serve as more efficient, as well as professional, customer service alternatives soon.

Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I checked on the correct store that still had some and checked out. The next day after I got off work I went to the Target I chose to get told they don’t have my pick up order, confused I asked them “ok it says you do so how do we go about this”? He told me “I have no idea. You need to figure that out”. That already pissed me off so I look at my order and it said it was at another store so I go there, same exact thing.
So I call customer service to see what is going on with my order. I got attitude the minute the representative got on the phone. I told him “this isn’t the store I had placed my order for” and I just kept getting the same thing. “Well it’s not my fault you chose the wrong store but we can cancel the order for you and have it sent to yours”. I said “ok but am I going to get it for the same price I paid for”? He said “no you won’t and I can’t adjust it for you”. I never did return to Target after this incident that happened roughly five years ago. I was pulling a box off the shelf when an overhead box came down struck me on the side of the face, smashing my glasses. Ultimately bruising my face too and it jarred my neck as well. The box contained one of those large wardrobes that you assemble and hang clothes on to dry. Had a lot of stainless steel in it. This happened at Target M59 and Schoenherr in Shelby Township Michigan. I was jarred and I could barely see without my glasses, but I did report it to the office. They came back to the area I was injured at. They took my incident report. They took pictures of me and my glasses. While I was hurt, I was able to drive. Because I was jarred I went to a chiropractor. I had to resort to wearing an old pair of glasses which had an incorrect script, outdated.
Because I have a severe astigmatism and the fact I get the glasses minimized, transition lenses, those glasses had cost me $1,100. When I went to the chiropractor at that time that visit was $30 although I did go to subsequent visits so it was more. Ended up with a bruise/swelling on my face. When the facility that handles Target's claims contacted me, and I can't remember the name of them, they told me that Target had a "no medical clause". When I asked them to explain this, they indicated that they were not responsible for any cost or injury I incurred from the box falling on me. They questioned me as if I was criminal, insinuating that I had made it up and that they thought it was fishy that nobody else had witnessed it.
I questioned that corporation handling that claims as to what if it had been somebody that had been more frail than me or even a child, the weight of that hitting them could have easily killed them. They reiterated that they would not reimburse me for the glasses. They may consider paying the $30 for one chiropractic visit, but that was the extent of what they were giving me. I never did get the $30 reimbursement. I've never returned to a Target. I've never gotten over this incident as I think it's just horrific that they treated me the way they did and that somebody could have gotten killed and an incident such as this and they would never have accepted any responsibility for the fact that they had not properly shelved their merchandise. I hope many others read this. I hope they check into the way Target is. If you truly knew these things, you would never shop there again. At least I don't see how you'd be able to in good conscience.

My bill is due on the 22nd of every month, while shopping in the store on the 26th of the month, I paid my bill of $25. To my surprise my next bill had a $31 dollar late fee. When I called they said I underpaid by $6.00. Awful Customer Service, I asked for a Supervisor, never got a callback, and now just got a letter stating they are debt collecting, really. I called the company on December 3rd to check on the status of my order and was told they didn't know what had happen but someone would contact me in 24 hours. I was given a case number. 24 hours later, no call. I tried contacting the site again (via chat) and the agent simply disconnected me when I asked why no one had contacted me and asked that my order be delivered Today. I called the customer support number and asked to speak to a manager. I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes and finally was disconnected from the call.
I called again and this time I was finally transferred to a manager, Julia. Not a very helpful person at all! Instead of offering SOLUTIONS, or apologizing for the problems I was experiencing, Julia simply said that the RESEARCH team in charge of figuring out what was the delay in my order was really behind and she couldn't really tell me when they would call back. Probably at least 72 hours... She told me I could re-order the item for store pickup (at a much higher price of course). She offered no real solutions and basically just sighed loudly because apparently, I was being an inconvenience! When I asked what she did for the company she told me she was a CUSTOMER SERVICE manager... Well forgive me then for expecting better service from Target! I WILL NEVER AGAIN order anything from Target.com.

I tried to order Christmas gifts online. Had my promo code, all of my stuff in order, clicked send, done. But, it wasn't until several days later that I got a notification that a big chunk of my order had been canceled because "they couldn't process my address", but the rest of the order was able to send (and is here right now). I have had to spend the past two days trying get all of the things I wanted to get, but some of these items have gone out of stock since I first tried to order them.
Now, thanks to Target's inadequate notification/problem-solving systems, I cannot get these items for family members, and have had to try to get what I could get shipped in several different orders (some only containing one item). Also, when trying to reorder two things, a blanket and a Chiefs phone stand set, it prepared the blanket and it is on its way as I type, but the Chiefs stuff was canceled for no given reason, so now I have to ship it on its own. I am being told by the site to expect three separate packages, each containing 1-2 items, all on the same day. Ridiculous.
Also, when I tried to use the promo code (because it did nothing when the original order was canceled), the site kept saying it was not a valid promo code. But, the code itself says 20% off storewide purchase, from 11/27/18-12/8/18, and I am only trying to order one thing and I have looked and I know it is not a part of any of the brands/items that were not included in the promo. I love Target stores, and I had had a lot of gift cards saved to do holiday shopping with, but after this experience, never again. Target is taking away my Christmas spirit.

They will have sales and deals but the minute you go to purchase/order something the item is out of stock or they just a few of the off sizes etc. Ever since they had a big debacle a few years ago with advertising one thing and massively coming up short with the items, you would think they would quit doing this. No email ever came, so on Tuesday morning I called the store and found out that they did have my tv and that the order hadn't been completely processed, so I headed to the store which is 45 minutes from my home and like others, got an email on my drive that the tv was no longer available! I was given a link for shipping/pickup options.
The link showed no other Target store had one in stock, but I decided to go and check for myself. One store had 3 and didn't offer to honor the sale and another one had 1 in stock which was a display and offered a deal, but not for the price I would have received for Cyber Monday. After I got home I called the customer support and they replied back that they showed no inventory of the local stores. Great inventory control and great management -- NOT!

I contacted Target and attempted to exchange the items and I was advised that they did not have the 26-inch bar stools in stock. I returned the items as instructed within 2 days of the receipt of the wrong items. I was instructed that it would be 2-3 weeks before I received my refund. No apology for intentionally and deliberately sending the wrong item.
I contacted Target at the end of the 3rd week and they advised me that a refund had been made. Incorrect! No Money returned!!! Target asked me to call my bank! The money was not refunded to my account as stated. I went through 4 service technicians before I was advised that this matter would require the review of a specialty department who would contact me within 24 hours regarding the issue of the refund. That did not happen.
I received an email response today. Stating it would be another 10-14 days before a refund could be made -- that would total approximately 6 weeks. The timetable to return my money is unacceptable. I patiently waited the 3 weeks and Target has had possess of the returned items for 4 weeks. To be told by Target to wait an additional 2 to 3 weeks, is a total disrespect to me as a customer. I try to work with service providers. I was advised that someone would contact me directly from the Specialty Team in light of this situation. But to receive an email advising me that it would take an additional 10 to 14 more days is disrespectful and a total disregard to the customer.

Sometimes they do not get delivered and customers end up having to spends days – weeks dealing with their unprofessional and rude customer service center trying to get their purchased good sent to the recipient. Read the reviews online and you will see what I am talking about.
I purchased an e-gift card on November 19, 2018 for a friend who is having a baby. I received an email confirmation that the e-gift card was sent at 9:26 am on November 19th. The gift card was not received. The regular email inbox and junk email inboxes were checked and the gift card was not delivered to either inboxes. The email address that I sent the gift card to was correct.
Target's website says that gift cards usually are delivered within 4 hours and I had received an email confirmation stating that the gift card was sent, so I decided to call customer service. I called and said that the gift card was not delivered, so I asked for it to be resent or for Target to issue me a refund. The first representative I spoke to said that gift cards can take up to 24 hours to be delivered. I then asked why does the website state that it takes 4 hours then? She said that the website does not say that. I then asked to speak to a supervisor because on the website it says that it takes 4 hours. The representative eventually transferred me after I asked several times to speak to someone else.
The second representative I spoke to named Varaan was not a supervisor, she was a specialist. So, the first representative ignored my request and just transferred me to another representative. When she transferred me she made it like she was transferring me to a supervisor. I told Varaan my issue and I again asked for the gift card to be resent or for a refund. She said that she wouldn't resend the gift card or issue me a refund, because gift cards are nonrefundable. I asked if there was someone higher than her that I can speak to. She kept insisting that there wasn't and kept repeating that she was a "Specialist".
I kept asking her who was above her that I could speak to and she insisted over and over that she was the highest person and that I was speaking to someone at Target's corporate offices. Finally, she did mention setting up a call back with a supervisor. I then asked her why would she lie and keep insisting that she was the highest person I could speak to when I asked her multiple times to speak to someone else. She said that she didn't lie. That she told me she was a "Specialist". She then offered to set up a callback with a supervisor that would take 24 - 48 hours. I declined and said that I would wait on hold until a supervisor was available. She then hung up on me.
Both representatives were extremely unhelpful and did not resolve my issue. They both put me on hold multiple times throughout the exchange as well. The gift card still has not been delivered, and it is now 48 hours later, but Target charged my account for the $50.00. At this point I would like the money for the gift card refunded to me, because I ended up having to buy the person a different gift since the e-gift card I bought from Target was not delivered as promised on their website. They should not just get to keep my money without actually delivering the service I paid for.

That's when I discovered that there is no way to escalate a complaint! And that's when I stopped shopping at Target. But I still have a Target credit card, with a large outstanding balance. I ran into some trouble and got my account put on a payment plan.
Less than two months later, with all the payments having been made, they reported me as delinquent to the credit bureaus. Updated on 12/21/2018: Well, I purchased a dining set which came damaged. I contacted the maker and they did not respond or help. I contacted Target for a replacement and return. The replacement was delivered to the wrong house downstairs. I contacted Target and they told me just over over their, open the package while it's standing up and take out a piece at a time for the ones I need to replace. This box was 3 times my width and taller than me. Weights about my weight. I am not taking that risk. The box said lay flat before opening. Target just said, "Too bad." I then called and they just said they will come and pick up both package, the damaged one and the one that is delivered to the wrong place and refund me. Well, they did not refund me at all. I called, chatted, shown delivery proof and was told they have a system. They need to transfer my case to the investigation team, then the research team, then the specialist team and then to processing and such, then refund.
Well, they never even transferred my case to any team when a week later I contacted them again. The chat rep told me to just contact my bank. I did and it took weeks more plus a complaint to the BBB for Target to refund me. Then they sent me a collection letter telling me I owe them the money. I contacted my bank and was told they are still under investigation and need Target to contact them directly as I have hand the case over to my bank. Well, Target just won't and keep sending debt collection letters with threat of me not being able to use my RED card again and such. So to avoid any hit on my credit and stuff, I have to send in another payment that I do not owe to Target.
Hopefully it's a learning lesson and when this clears, I will cancel the RED card. I started using because I gave up on Walmart, but sadly this year, Walmart online has beat Target new "improved" system for sure. The 5% off on Red card is for sure not worth the trouble. I since then I have do all my shopping mainly on Amazon. The comfort of having decent/good customer services helps me more than a few dollars discount. So beware if you buy anything expensive and large from Target that comes damaged, it's like giving birth each time you contact them.
Original review: Well, to make the story short. Bought a dining set, damaged, returned but Target won't issue refund saying their team will contact me instead. I checked online and it still asking me to return the item. I called and was told they just need to update showing items has been returned to get refund. Days later it still asking me to complete my return. I contacted them again and was told their leadership team will contact me instead. (It was research team before)... But won't update the tracking. Basically got items and holding my money and won't give it back. Thief and liar!

I called the local store and gave them my order number. They said, "We don't have the order. That probably means we didn't have it in stock and so the person canceled the order." I said thanks, and hung up.
I incorrectly assumed that they would refund my debit card through PayPal. The next day I received two emails from Target saying the $195 was applied to a Target gift card instead of being refunded to my original payment method, debit card. I was furious. Received ad in Saturday paper on 32" Visio 1080p TV, went to the store and as always there was no stock. Asked the manager (Sandy), "Is it coming in?" And she said she don't know because corporate does the ordering. Now keep in mind the sale starts on Sunday, so I would have her say to me, "We have stock but can't sell it to you for the sale price until Sunday." When is this fraud going to end, how can you advertise an item knowing you have no stock and have no clue (don't believe that for a minute) when you will receive stock. Tired of Target and when are the consumer advocates going to step in?

Target online will display an item as in stock, even if they don't have enough stock for all their orders. As a result, on the day your order should arrive, they will then tell you that there's been a delay. This will happen regardless of what delivery option you chose. So a $30 expedited shipping may end up arriving on the same day as a standard shipping. Of course, if you try to get a delivery date assurance beforehand, both the online tracker will assure you it will arrive on that date, and their customer service reps will tell you the same thing, all the way up to the day of, where they will regretfully inform you that they couldn't fulfill the order. Both their store pages and their customer service use deceptive practices when trying to get your orders.

If you are ordering from Target.com - please do yourself a favor, save yourself from disappointment and bad experience! Some items may seem cheaper on their website than the others but do NOT be persuaded. It was my first time ordering online. I rate shopped from various sites and theirs seems cheaper and faster to get delivered. They do not have an option to expedite shipping, too. They will just give you a range and a faster option is to pick it at the nearest store. I chose the option of picking it up in the nearby store. That saves time a little bit. When I placed my order, I made sure that the last date from the range is still on time for the event that we are going. When we actually need it, to give allowance if there's any delay. Comes the next day, I got an email from them that it will be delayed than the initial range and that they haven't charged my card yet. I thought that's fine, we still have time. So I approved that delay.
Comes another day, another email I received from them. Guess what? It will be delayed again!!! Way later than the initial range of date posted when I made an order. The main point why we are placing that order in their website in the first place! So I called their customer support - the person that I spoke to, told me, "sorry," the reason for the delay is they thought they have it but turns out they have to get it from another facility hence the delay. He's pinning it on the system they have and they can't do anything about it. VERY MISLEADING!!! Why would their system show that it's available and provide a range of date when they can't actually deliver! AGAIN. Do NOT order online on their website else you will be the next person writing another negative review with a bad experience. Try Amazon or something else.

I've ordered online from Target for years and was always mostly happy with the results. However, since Target was taken over by Amazon recently, my latest online ordering experience was abysmally bad and I'm not surprised to see many customers who feel the same way. I placed an order on 10/11 - Target separated this into about 5 different orders. Two of the orders never shipped at all. The UPS status just said a label had been created, but they had not received the package yet from Target. I contacted Target two times to ask about those orders and they simply said they could give me a refund. No explanation of what the heck happened, but at least I got my money back for those items.
They also shipped a glass bowl to me in a crappy box that was almost falling apart and that had no label indicating it was fragile. Naturally it was cracked upon arrival and that will require a trip to Target to get a refund. The most annoying thing about this experience was, there was one part of the order with several items that shipped out and for some reason were delivered to a "local access point" rather than my home. I called both UPS and Target trying to explain that I wanted the items delivered to my home (as I had specified in the order) and that I don't even have a vehicle to get the items from an Access Point. For whatever reason, it was simply impossible for this to be accomplished (never had this problem with any other online vendor in my life), so I talked to Target and told them I wanted the package returned to them and a refund issued for the items.
The customer service person I talked to at that time was nice and said he would issue the refund right away. Several days later, I see the refund has not been issued, but the tracking number shows it was received by Target. I call Target yet again and after about 1/2 an hour of trying to explain, they finally understood and said I would get my refund within the next few business days. Called again after a few business days and still not receiving refund and was told this time it would about 7-10 days to receive the refund. At this point, I see Target as crooks. They have the merchandise AND my money. I should at least get one of those things since I'm the buyer. I know I'll simply have to keep calling them to get this resolved and will get nowhere.
I will absolutely never purchase anything from Target again. Even though the problem was with their online ordering, I won't even go into their stores again because I won't do business with crooks. Also, Target used to be the one and only store in existence that didn't blast music over the loudspeakers. There was no music and it was wonderful to browse the items in peace and quiet and not have some annoying pop song in your head. Well, the minute they got bought out by Amazon, they started playing trendy music in their stores. Not that it would have made a difference to me at this point, but they now suck in every respect.

Tried the online store pickup. It was not my first time, but since the renovation to include groceries to the store the online store pickup became separate from returns. Which I thought was great, but before the changes the online store pickup had a separate line and pickup was priority to customers returning items. Since the change, now I have to wait in line behind people with shopping carts because the floor manager in Queens Place didn’t want the pickup register to be standing still. He had made in store shoppers to go to online store pickup register to reduce the long lines in regular registers (long line problem always seems to be the case whenever I see him managing the floor).
I don’t mind as long as he prioritized store pickup. He did not. Nor did the guy at the register notify me that some of the items I’ve ordered were not available and were not included in my purchase/pickup. I’ve made a complaint and I heard his excuses. Next time I visited Target (not online pickup), he made the employees announce that online pickup register is open to store shoppers for several weeks as if to retaliate against my complaints. The online store pickup became a regular register which undermines the point of it and I will never do online store pickup again.
