I love Target, they have a variety of things that I need and some I end up buying anyway. The APP is great, I can purchase what I need and pick up or drive up at the store to save me time in my busy day. I use the APP several times a week. Target makes it very convenient to shop at their store. This is my go to store for most everything I need.

Target has gotten some pretty bad raps over the gender specific bathrooms. They DO have a private unisex one a available at most of their stores. We find most Targets to be very friendly and competitively priced. We always feel like they value our business. Target is one of our favorite stores.

I recently purchased a curtain rod online. It was a bigger size curtain rod to go across the length of a sliding glass door. It was put in a long cardboard box with no cushioning, bubble wrap, nothing. When I picked it up at the UPS facility the box was very beat up and crooked and torn in two and had been taped back together. Amazingly even though the box was crooked the curtain rod inside was still straight. It was just luck that the curtain rod was okay.

I will not hold that against Target, after all, We are all Human and stuff happens. I visit the downtown Portland, Oregon store about once a week. The staff is really good and friendly. Why I keep returning is because Target is trying to bring merchandise into the store from more sustainable companies. As an example, I bought some kids' pants which had pockets made of a cloth from recycled plastic bottles. They also teamed up with a company that recycled used baby seats. This really impressed me.

Another thing I like is that Target welcomes people to actively recycle bottles in exchange for some extra cash. This is a very earth friendly approach and the people who bring in the bottles are grateful and respectful towards Target employees and customers. I found some healthy food choices in the produce section but would like to see more local produce. Overall I am satisfied with Target and hope other stores follow their lead.

The prices are consistently higher than other box stores. Occasionally they offer a gift card if one spends a certain amount on specific products. This makes the prices better. The stores are always clean and “feel” nicer. If one can find an employee when trying to find a product they are usually helpful. They have gotten better but in the past I would almost every visit find that one or more of my items would ring up at a higher price than listed on the shelf or the sale ad. When this would happen it was time consuming to correct as I’d have to go to the service counter.

Their prices were reasonable, but the customer service rep was not very knowledgeable, so we decided to try Target instead. Once inside Target, I was impressed with their store layout and the number and quality of flat screens they had on display. The prices were reasonable and a customer service rep came right over and wanted to know if we had any questions. The knowledge of explaining not only the features, but the pros and cons of each different model and size was very impressive. We went with one of the suggested models they had on sale and it was a great purchase.

Target is an excellent shopping venue! I can purchase everything I could possibly need for myself; my household needs and even food for my dog!! I can find cards for family and friends for any and all occasions. Then I can saunter away from the card section and buy a gift for everyone I buy gifts for; from clothes or toys for kids, to games for “older kids”, clothing, books and or new techie gadgets!!! I can also find wrapping paper and or gift bags, all at a reasonable price. If my allergies happen to be bothering me that day, I can go in the pharmacy area and purchase anything I may need there. Then if I need toilet paper, tissue, dishwasher soap, and personal grooming items I can purchase those as well. All during the same trip. I might even see something I want to wear???? Alas, I can purchase items for dinner. After all of that shopping I am typically hungry when I leave the store!!

My wife and I love Target, so it's a shame we won't be shopping there anymore. We had Red Cards with Target and used them often. There's never been an issue with payments on our end. Lately, due to a bank error, our checking account was frozen for a few days. The error had been resolved and everything is up and running. Due to this, there were a handful of Red Card transactions that were denied. When we learned of this, we quickly resolved the bank error and called Target to pay the returned charges. Target would not waive our $60 in fees, even though we've been loyal customers. Found that odd but decided to eat it, maybe our bank would reimburse us for that later.

Go to make a purchase with the Red Card the next day, it's denied. Called this morning and find out that Target decided unilaterally to close our Red Card account. We were never contacted beforehand. I was also assured that there was nothing that could be done to reopen our account. If this is how Target treats its loyal customers, we're done. Again, it's a shame, and we never boycott anyone - we're reasonable people and we realize mistakes happen. However, the way we were treated by Target these past couple weeks has been so egregious and unreasonable that we have no choice but to find somewhere else to shop.

I go to Target to buy extra Tidy Cat (35-lb bucket) litter and Purina dry Cat Chow when they put it on sale for Buy-2-and get $5 gift card. The cards usually get rolled over into more purchases when it's a tight money week. Tidy Cat comes in yellow buckets, w/different colored lids, depending on the "type" (all acts the same). All of which are usually on sale at the same time. Often stores only have a lot of one type. This time I went on Monday and bought 4 buckets - blue lids, since they had a lot more of them and were higher on shelf and easier to lift into the basket. I get to the register but they don't come up as the sale. Clerk tells me, "Oh the ad says "select", so it's only the red lid ones shown in the photo." Then why did I get the sale price on Purina Naturals, when the only dry food bag photo was the regular type?

My back was hurting and I still had to lift the buckets into my car, so I sucked it up and called the store when I got home. The person who answered said that all the types were in the sale, and to bring my receipt in and it would get honored. Fine. On Wednesday evening, I went in, to the customer service desk. The bored little maiden there looks at it, looks at her cell phone and says, "You bought the blue lids." I said, "Yes, but they all have signage for the sale." She pops her register and gives me a $10 bill, not a gift card, my receipt and the refund receipt. I said, "Now if I go buy more, I have to make sure I get the red lid only?" She looks at her phone again and says the sale is over. I said how, it was just in the Sunday flyer. She remembers she was supposed to staple my two receipts together and asked for them back. Then says, "Yes, just the red lids."

So I go to the pet section. EVERY COLOR LID SECTION HAD A SALE TAG for Buy 2, get a free $5 target Gift Card. "As signed".. The multiple sale tags taped to the shelves all said sale period ending was 1/26 to 2/1. EVERY sale tag also had the type of litter mentioned on it - "24/7" (the red lids), "InstaAction" (Instant Action, the blue lids), and "4-in-1", the black lids.

Of course the regular sale tags gave the prices as $14.99 but the sale tags all said $14.69, which is not the price that comes up in the register either. They rang for $14.99. So what is going on here? Should customers have to bring a copy of the sale tag TO the register every time? Should we ask to see a manager right away to check out, not the array of disinterested stafflings, including those barely interested in Customer Service? Or is Target trying to save money by bullying customers with false information and saving giftcard losses? Then why have sales like that at all? And they wonder why I don't want to trust them with my Social Security Number in order to get the Red Card they keep flogging.

The product listed did not provide in the write-up that is was a digital e-mail purchase. Thinking it was a disk that would be shipped - placed order. After that it showed it was a digital e-mail receipt for download. It then said contact quickly if you have any changes to your order. Order was still in process; took some time to figure out how to get a real voice at Target. When I contacted them saying I wanted to cancel - they said they could not do that on an electronic download purchase (which I hadn't received at that time).

I asked to speak to a person above them. They connected me - however, they said it had been 40 minutes since my purchase and they couldn't do anything (even though I had not received it in an e-mail yet). They said if I hovered over the picture of Turbo Tax it said it was an electronic purchase. Not having in the description write up is false advertising. They made no attempt to contact me back, which they said they would. I will never purchase from Target again based on this customer service.

Target only processed $59.99 of my order, which will be delivered on January 7th. I called Customer Service immediately for clarification. To my dismay, the bulk of my order is scheduled for delivery on Dec. 30th! I asked for an immediate cancellation of the entire order. Their response was to put a Hold on the entire $555.25 cost of my order per my checking account; thus negating my ability to just shop elsewhere.

They can't cancel when an order while it's being processed. They can't or won't upgrade an order for Next Day Delivery while it is being processed (or afterwards). Everything is up to Processing. Apparently, Target doesn't have inter-department communication. Maybe... MAYBE I might be able to cancel my order on the 23rd or 24th. Otherwise, I can just refuse delivery, and their Hold on the aforementioned $555.25 will be lifted shortly thereafter. Their professional, then cursory apologies do NOT save Christmas for my 4 & 6 year old sons (who still believe in Santa Claus)!!! I suppose I can throw myself at the mercy and charity of local churches, but who knows what we can get at this late date. I recently received a letter from Target telling me that I needed to use my Red Card soon as they were going to cancel it for non-use. I also have a Target Red Card debit card that I use on a regular basis. I called customer service to tell them that I needed a replacement credit card because I misplaced mine hence the 14 months of non-use. If they cancel your credit card your debit card also gets cancelled and you are no longer eligible for the benefits. I repeated multiple times that I did not need a replacement debit card, that I had a debit card, and only needed a replacement credit card. The agent assured me that she understood and that I could expect my card in 7-10 days. I got mail from Target in 7 days and was happy to be on the short side of the estimated delivery window. That was until I opened the envelope and found another debit card.

I immediately called and the new agent acknowledged that she noted that the wrong card was sent and she would be happy to send another one - in 7-10 days. I told her that I wanted them to overnight it as I already waited a week and it was their mistake. She then told me that it would be $15 to OVERNIGHT a card, this was on Monday, December 16 at 5:24pm. I reminded her that it was Target's error and that I would not be paying $15 for their mistake, I had to repeat this 3 times before she went to the supervisor to get the OK to override the charge. She then proceeded to badger me about being home to sign for the package at 10:30 the next morning, we all know that you don't know when UPS or FED EX will be able to deliver, but I did have my (over 18 year old) son watch for them from 10:30 to 1:30 when he was home from school. No card was delivered so I called again on Tuesday, December 17 at 5:53 pm.

After being on hold for several minutes I was told that because the card was ordered after 2:00 pm the OVERNIGHT delivery was actually bumped to the next business day which would be today, Wednesday, December 18. I was home all day, no delivery. I called today at 4:00 and was told that their OVERNIGHT delivery really two day delivery. What??? So, tomorrow, December 19 is SUPPOSED to be the day it is to be delivered. I am getting the run around at this point and put on hold several times while the agent calls "a supervisor in the United States." I'm sure this is to get the verbiage to cover for another error.

I have mailed overnight mail several times and it was delivered as promised. Target is lying to cover their multiple errors. Target is charging their customers $15 for delivery that takes 3 full days, if it actually gets delivered tomorrow, plus a full evening. So I had planned to use my replacement Red Card to go and buy a bunch of Christmas presents, but another company got my business instead. A thank you would have been nice.

Placed an online order today at Target.com for a tv, which came with an extra 15% off for Cyber Monday. Target website said it was available and I could order it and then go pick it up at my convenience. After I placed the order I got an email a few minutes later saying the order was no longer available because they went to get it and there were no tvs there anymore. I go back to the website, and the website now shows the item is still available but can't be ordered anymore. I'd have to go to the store to pick it up. Store closes at 9pm, I work till after 10pm. I'd have to go the next day. Oh and the 15% discount is no longer available either now. I have to officially cancel the original order or they'll cancel it up to 5 days later. I cancel it myself now.

I use the Target Chat line to find out what is going on. I'm told the item is still available in the store and they'll honor the 15%. Again the store closes before I get off work, I'd have to go the next day. The agent I'm talking calls the store to see if they'll hold it for me. The agent checks and then tells me the item is no longer in stock and I'm out of luck. Paraphrasing the last part of course. What is usually a pretty simple transaction became nonexistent because of a website mistake and I suspect human error on their part. Not sure I'll deal with Target's website anymore after this.

I contacted Target and was told the sale ended. There was nothing on the item saying when the sale was to end and they would not honor the sale price. I told them it was like removing an item from my cart, marking the price up, and putting it back on the shelf. They would not budge and would not offer the original price. Hello. Target opened in my town in mid October. The first day it was a mess. Every other self-service checkstand was down or not working. I made my purchase and the purchase went through on debit card. Just a few I threw out my receipt because my hairdryer was working fine. Big mistake to have thrown it out even though it had been a month later. Anyway at the time there was money in the bank to cover it .That was almost 4 weeks ago. And a few days ago I look at my online banking and the charge from almost 4 weeks came through again!! I live paycheck to paycheck so this really screwed me up!

Long story short the first charge didn’t go through to my bank even though I had paid the money so they are saying that they had a glitch and the charge showed up four weeks later. So I complained about it and they said since I left with the item they weren’t going to refund me and for some weird reason the original charge never hit my bank account but I do remember paying it the first time. I put money to cover it. So instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and maybe even offering me a five dollar coupon they did nothing and the lady that called gave me the general customer service number without an extension to contact her directly. Word to the wise do not use their red card if it is connected to your checking account. At least my experience has shown that their system doesn’t work and they don’t apologize for crap.

This is a long time coming. My wife shops at Target a lot which I understand because target is set up for more female friendly. I've always know being a big guy 6'4 240 lbs that their 2xl clothing has always been too small. Sometimes I'd get lucky like out of 7 shirts 1 would fit ok. Always made too wide and the length seems to stay almost the same between the large, so and xxl. It's been kinda crappy as I still find myself trying on clothes there over and over because my wife goes here all the time. So tonight literally about 20 mins ago I went over to the women's and noticed on the walls images of plus sized women and walked over to the men's and only see athletic skinny guys on the walls and it hits me. They target women of all sizes and mothers or your average American woman which is awesome and I'm happy for that but now to my point.

I walk over to the women's and they have 2xl, 3xl up to 6xl now the 4xl women's is long and big enough to fit me even too big. The 6xl is way too big for me and I see all these clothes in women's that fit better for me than anything in the men's. So really wtf!!!! I mean you all can be open and realistic to your main women shoppers but not one damn pc of clothing for tall or big men. It's stupid and ridiculous and I never write reviews but seeing those clothes and holding them up to which was funny also made me kinda mad. After spending 30 mins trying on sweaters, jackets and stuff and only 1 barely fit and this was a lot this time. 15 PCs of clothing. I know this won't reach anyone at target to make them change this but hey at least I can vent a little and maybe other guys or even their wives who I'm sure have just a hard a issue buying stuff for their men here. Now for kids and teens it's ok.

I attribute that to the fact that people today are isolated in a world of their making. They stare at a phone all day and don't interact with anyone. Therefore, when required to do so they don't know how to accomplish that. Also, people now shop via the internet, so face to face interaction is eliminated there too.

I purchased a battery backup for my phone. Staff unlocked the cabinet & had me pay for it upstairs, separately. I had other purchases & paid for them downstairs. As I checked out, I showed the cashier the item and the receipt. When I got home, I realized she rang it a second time. I contacted headquarters with copies of the receipts, the names of the staff upstairs (I was making jokes about imprisoning the merchandise, and as it was slow and I was in crutches, and there was enough interaction they would remember. And the item had to be unlocked and sold upstairs. I knew they would refund the double payment after verifying with staff and double checking my receipt. I knew wrong.

They wanted to give me a Target gift card for less than the value. The store manager wanted me to come in to the store and pay to park and then wouldn't say when he would be in. He stopped answering my emails. I called the corporate offices again and they told me to call back to speak to another group. They didn't respond. I emailed the person I originally spoke to and he said it was closed, but could not tell me the resolution. This wasn't a judgement call. It wasn't about service. They took money that was not theirs. It's theft. In addition, the machine for parking credit didn't work and despite the sign from Target offering free parking, it would not work and the only way to get my car out was to pay for that. Target's sign, Target's offer, Target's machine, Target's bank account, but he claimed no responsibility.

After a month with everyone refusing to respond, I wrote the State Attorney General. Two days later on a Sunday morning, I got a call from Headquarters from someone talking about commitment to customers, and what sounded like a value's statement. We are talking about $72 dollars. Most cashiers have the authority to correct a double charge. But this woman did not have the authority. She said she would look into "IF and HOW" they could refund my money. Target....did not know how to cut a check, or bank transfer, or credit a card or even how to stick cash in an envelope! I was proud I was never rude or lost my temper,. but I did state that commitment to customers did not require them to spend hours in order to be reimbursed.

Two weeks after contacting the state attorney general, I got an email from the woman telling me wonderful things about Target and that they were sending me an American Express gift to cover the charges. (They even paid an extra $2.42 cents because of the value on the cards. The wording was the sort of thing you hear from a large company after an oil spill--right out of PR. The card arrived that day with wording that was just on the edge or sarcasm. No one ever said or wrote with words such a "sorry. apologize. mistake,. error., or wrong." Let me correct that....one email said they were sorry that I was unhappy with the fact that they still had no answer after a month. It took two months to be reimbursed. I spent about 10 hours to get it. Nothing happened until the AG was involved. And they still waited and the acted as if they were making a donation. Target DID show their commitment to the customer. They committed to display contempt.

When I asked about the out-of-stock sale toys, I was told that Target no longer provides rain checks on sale items and that "we run sales often enough that it shouldn't be a problem." Really?

To top it off, I wasn't provided activation receipts at the register for the gift cards I purchased; I received only gift receipts. Gift receipts don't show proof of value (dollar amount) on the gift cards. And that gift receipt with missing information is supposed to be good enough? Looks like Target's new strategy is to do what it can to streamline things from their perspective in order to serve the customer less. The only reason I have assigned 1 star to Target is because their employees are generally kind and eager to help. Most of them are even cheerful! It's the corporate policies that are problematic.

So I left everything there and told her to cancel the order. Picked it up at Walmart instead. Called customer service and she was nice but the next day I noticed they charged our account for the order.

I received an email that said I’d get a refund in 1-3 business days (it was a Friday). So I emailed and they said they’ll get it refunded and offered a $20 gift card but then made it sound like I was stupid for not knowing that’s what they did. When I told them I’m having a hard time understanding how that policy is in line with FTC guidelines, I got a nasty gram back saying if I wanted to peruse legal action that they wish me good luck. So, yeah if you place an order online and it’s “ready for pickup” your card will be charged for the full order. Needless to say I’ll just head over to Walmart or Amazon from now on.

My information was used for purchases at Target and I submitted a dispute for charges and the claim was denied because a pin was used. I informed them the card haven't been used in years and suggested that they pull the cameras from the local Target store and I am willing to provide ID to provide it was not me. They said that would not possible but they will take note of my statement. Ryan the supervisor also stated to me that it was impossible for someone to find out your pin information.

I would not recommend anyone to sign up for their debit card because if someone uses it with your personal information, they would hold you liable no matter what. I also request to speak with someone higher up like CEO of the company and he states that is impossible. I have never known a company not to have a CEO and just a regular supervisor in charge of a big corporation. I am extremely disappointed in this company regarding an unauthorized transaction that has taken place. This compliant won't stop here.

I was looking at buying some specialty shampoo, and Target listed it at $19.99 on their website. I also looked on their website to see if my local Target had it in stock, and they did. I went to the Target store by me and they had the price tag on it as $5.00 MORE!!! I contacted Target customer service and they gave me some BS about prices being adjusted for my area, which makes NO SENSE! If you are going to advertise and sell something for ONE price online, then it is supposed to be that same price at ANY Target store! Target is now finding ways to screw people out of money in a corrupt, underhanded way! Are there NO HONEST businesses in this country anymore?! This is beyond outrageous! I've also seen them do this to TV's they have. They will be one price online, and a completely different price in the stores!!! It's just sickening.

Next I went to return something I paid 20 dollars for and with tax. I should be getting 21.38 back. I paid cash for it but because I didn’t have a receipt they were only going to give me $6 dollars for it because the price of the bra dropped in price since I got it. I said, "To hell you're giving me $6 dollars. I paid $20 for that bra." The woman looked at me and said it’s their policy. There was nothing she could do so I called the store to talk to the manager. She had no clue what I was talking about. She told me to hold on and was asking someone else what the policy is. Ha a manager, she should know it already bs. I went to Target policy online and it said nothing about or even remotely like what they said to me so guess what. My closest Target store is a 90 minute drive away. So, I've started ordering from their Target.com and Target on Google Express. I have to say that it's been completely hit or miss. I received a couple orders where everything was okay and arrived on time. I also received one order where the shipping box looked like they had used it as a trash can before putting my order in it (bad stains and dark material spilled inside the box that wasn't from anything in my order). Another order had a food item that had expired 4 months previously in it (that was Target on Google Express and Google Express refunded the item and told me to toss it).

My latest order was placed at 530am this Wednesday and most of the order was supposed to arrive today, Friday (2 Day Shipping). I got the appropriate "Your order has shipped" emails before lunchtime Wednesday with tracking numbers telling me that my main shipment would arrive today. Then I checked the tracking numbers a few times that day and the next to check and see if my order was actually moving and it wasn't. Two of my three packages didn't actually enter the UPS package stream until 10pm last night. My tracking update now says Monday. So, my 2 Day Delivery has turned into 5 Days. I order from other similar online retailers/competitors (Walmart and Kroger Ship) and have never had problems like these. Their competitors do the job right. My orders arrive on time and in good condition.

This may be my last Target order. It's just like flipping a coin. There's a 50-50 chance your order will arrive late, expired (food item) or in dirty boxes. I will say that as far as their physical stores, I've had good luck. I shop at the Flowood, MS and Jackson, MS locations occasionally on my day shopping trips (every few months). The stores are clean and they let you use whichever bathroom you want. So, I never have to wait for an empty stall (on busy weekends) like I used to. In closing, I would recommend their physical stores. But, their online store is a complete fail.

When I repeat my comment about the crossed eyes, she stared at the two dolls for a while and said, “Nope, there is nothing wrong with the eyes.” First of all, how could she see the cross eyes if the dolls were lay down instead of standing up? Second of all, why would a cashier try to contest the reason a customer give for returning a product? With this kind of customer service, I don’t see why Target is trying to open more stores.

I went into my local Target to exchange a video game system I had purchased in-store some months prior. At the time the sale associate I purchased my system from up-sold me on their story insurance to cover my system for an extended year. This was okay as I normally do purchase extended warranties in-store because of the easy exchange if need be. At the time the sales associate sold me on the fact that I would be able to exchange my item directly in store if I had any issues - Great! Unfortunately for me the associate sold me on a lie.

I of course became aggravated by the situation but being someone who has worked in the field I always try to relay to the reps that I am not trying to purposefully be a nuisance or "dick" to them and that I was just trying to resolve the issue I had as a customer that was sold on something that was untrue. My issue was elevated to the Manager on duty - Michelle who when she arrived already had a short attitude on her face, after exchanging our looks at the situation and her trying to tell me about the return policy not being for in store and me alerting her again that THAT was not what I was sold, she suddenly stopped and said she was calling the cops because I had become "belligerent" and "vulgar".

I told the lady that I wasn't trying to be a dick and only wanted what was sold to me at the time under good faith. A proper exchange of my faulty device. I have rarely encountered such pathetic levels of customer service and it was such an insult alerting the police like I was foaming at the mouth and screaming obscenities. I wasn't.. I was aggravated, I was persistent but in no way was I threatening. She didn't call the police because I was being threatening, she called the police because she was pissed at the fact I wasn't just eating up their lackluster excuse for not honoring what they sold me.

I'll never shop at another Target again, and I will be advising the same to anyone I know and or meet, I'm not one to favor any corporate entity over another like that but I now can say, Target might not be much different from a Best Buy or Walmart but they are the 3rd tier option and now ARE NOT AN OPTION AT ALL. Take your business elsewhere, they don't deserve your money if they are so ready to alert the police placing the situation on a level that was way over reactionary because the sold something to the consumer in good faith but refuse to honor it after they've gotten your money.

Target.com, shiftless corp. My review is based solely on my experience with their online store (Target.com). I don't have any issues with my local store, as they are professional and personable. I recently made a purchase that was cancelled by Target, due to a shipping error, the reason of which was never fully disclosed nor did I receive an email to confirm this.

At the time I received a message on CHAT on the app (I had connected with Target about the order on the app, at first) from Chris, I was speaking to a service rep on the phone who tried to help me with the order because I wanted to know when it would ship or why it hadn't progressed. I was told by the phone customer service rep that my order was cancelled by me at the same time Chris said it was cancelled by Target. I said I didn't cancel the order! No clear reason was given. But it seems by many of the responses on this platform, they regularly cancel orders. I don't have a problem with that, because errors by customers or Target could happen, but the lie about it what made me angry and the cancellation made me angry. I asked Chris when I would be refunded to me and he said "45 hours."

Anyway, I recontacted Target.com and describing my problem with customer services, they presented me a $10 egift card for me (which they didn't have to do) to apply to my next purchase after I made the complaint about the cancellation, which I thought would be the end of it. Well, where's my refund? Oh, no refund! Before I realized this, I reordered the same order they originally cancelled, thinking I would have the original money back into my account. Had I know I wouldn't get my money back at the time frame which they discussed, I would not have made the second order.

I did contact Target again, and they said it was an authorization on my account that has to be settled on Paypal's side. Mind you, I used my Paypal available balance -- not bank account attached to PayPal -- to pay for that order. There was a lot of going back and forth on this. I then spoke to a level 2 specialist and somebody from corporate; both told me they did what they could with cancelled order. I kept contacting Paypal who sent several messages to the merchant, to no avail. This went back and forth; and nothing. Lie after lie, fruitless phone call after phone call, I finally filed a ticket with Paypal to force Target to cancel the order they said they cancelled.

The second-tier specialist, I felt, was a smarmy patronizing individual and was just as unhelpful as the other person I spoke to at the corporate level. He couldn't do anything because they canceled the order. Funny. I didn't get an email notification or anything - just something on the app that showed it was cancelled and the message I got.

After going back and forth with Paypal, I had to get somebody there to file a ticket to force the cancel, because apparently, Target never actually cancelled the order, in full. I hope that solves the problem. I support what Target does for the community and standing by inclusive ideals, and my local store is great, but target.con online is trash, full of patronization, and a lot repeaters and people who don't know what's going on, and some are not exactly honest. I don't blame them, individually, as I blame more on the corporate culture. Apparently, Target withholds people's money for as long as they can and refuse to help, in this situation. I think If my money is not returned to my account by Monday, April 8th, I will contact the authorities for fraud, report it to BBB, and seek legal intervention about this. I will never shop at another Target, again - anywhere.

I stopped shopping Target for a couple of years for no particular or specific reason. I went into the store around Christmas of 2018 and couldn't find the brands that brought me to Target in the first place. Mossimo and Merona. I was looking everywhere. I couldn't believe they stopped these clothing lines. Here's my issue. I am very big on how clothing 'feels' when I touch it. Hand-feel I guess is what they call it, maybe? Everything felt so cheap. The materials snagged on my skin. Just really unappealing. The way these clothes look, from a distance, not too awfully bad.

Once I actually made my way to the piece that I was looking at, it was really a bummer. The quality of the clothing at not only Target but other stores, including many department stores, really went down the tubes. I think that people are settling for less than. It is truly difficult to find quality clothing as of late. Not only the material that is being used to make the items but the craftsmanship as well. Not good. Buy a shirt and wash it, after a couple of times through the washer (and hanging to dry) it twists at the seams on the the sides. Grandma (102 years old btw) used to call it Womperjawed although I'm not sure how to spell a word that most likely no other person reading this post even if slightly familiar with, sorry about that.

All in all Target should be ashamed of themselves for overpricing such garbage. The quality is hand in hand with, well, I think we all know who but I feel like I will be breaking guideline rules and I don't want to do that. I think they are right in line with their number one competition now and not in a good way. Target has let go of two of the brands that 'made them' Target. Maybe I'm just not as young as I think that I am anymore. I know quality though. I know that these new lines of clothing for women are not worth the price tag hanging from the sleeve.

This is the WORST Target (Woodridge, IL) I have ever been to, and Target corporate has the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. This issue came to light when I purchased a $450 iPad which began to crack after barely any use. I literally had the iPad for a few weeks and always kept it charged next to my bed and it was never damaged, dropped, or even traveled anywhere with me.

When noticing that the edges began cracking with the slightest touch while using it normally, I called corporate, and they affirmed that it should be exchanged (since it was clearly damaged when I received it and it should not start cracking when there was no accidental damage) and they gave me a case number to reference when I arrived at the store to ensure it was swiftly exchanged and guaranteed I would encounter no issues at the store. Upon arriving to the store (shortly after speaking to corporate), the staff began processing the exchange and all of the sudden their rude manager, NATE, demanded to stop the exchange and said he "doesn't care what corporate said" because he was not going to exchange it because he didn't "want a damaged product".

When asking him why it was okay for me to have a damaged product that I paid $450 for, he said, "I don't care what you say or how long we talk, but I won't give you a new one and I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO". Who tells a customer, "I have better things to do", when your job is to provide customer service?!?! I am beyond disappointed with Target's horrendously unaccommodating customer service, as well as this store's manager, NATE, and his unprofessionalism, rudeness, and blatant disrespect.

Target has lost my business as well as my friends' and family's business. Order placed in Nov. 2018. Notified multiple times of delay/backorder, then order cancelled by Target in Feb. 2019. My husband did not get his Xmas gift. I am very unhappy. Call Target customer service. Passed from one person to another. I am less happy. Finally a supervisor agreed to let me purchase an equivalent quality product for the original price of item on backorder. I am less unhappy.

I select an item and am assured the reduction is in Target's system. They would be applied after I checked out. However, the system would not recognize my PIN and the purchase denied, 3 times. I received 2 calls from my bank's fraud unit but had to go to the bank to resolve the problem. Returned to Target's online shopping website to find the replacement item I selected was in my cart. I input my card data and placed the order. Yeah for Target! Chat initiated to verify the promised price reduction would be applied to my purchase. Disconnected from chat 3 times. Very frustrated.

2nd chat almost completeď. But it took a long time, and repeated explanation of what happened. Chat lost. Very, very frustrated. Called customer service, again. Person I was speaking with looked at the notes in the system and would only discount my purchase for an amount less than what the previous rep agreed to. I got tired of dealing with her and said I wanted to speak to her supervisor. I was told my request to speak to management was not possible, she argued with me but finally connected me with someone. Extremely frustrating and more than very unhappy.

I repeated the purchase history to the supervising rep. She looked at the notes in the system and agreed on my paying the same price for the replacement. Happy to work to resolve the cost issue with this customer service supervisor. I went back to my Target account and verified the correct, agreed upon price was reflected on my order. Satisfied with the end result. Very unhappy about the multiple chats and calls it took to get there. I was on the phone more than 3 hours, a ridiculous amount of time.

Final analysis: time spent, frustration level experienced was not worth being allowed to pay the amount I originally agreed to spend. Almost 4 months later and I still don't have my heated mattress pad. And guess what - winter in Tucson is almost over so I probably won't even get to use it until next winter. I am loyal to Target because they are headquartered in my home state of Minnesota and I know a handful of employees at corporate. For whatever reason Target just has a different, more inviting feel than Walmart, even though I realize almost all of the same items are available and usually at the same price. At Target I feel like it is more of a relaxing shopping experience. I don't want to get into the stereotypical clientele of these stores, but it does seem to me like the average Target shopper is younger, has a higher level of education and probably a greater disposable income. I just prefer it.

I will not shop at Target. When a store decides that grown men can use the restroom that is designated for women, they don't need or want my business. This chain is attempting to be politically correct, when what they are doing is alienating a large percentage of their customers. Men and boys should use the men's room, and women and girls should use the women's room.

On Nov. 23rd I order a couch through Target.com. Everything proceeded normally for a purchase, I got a notification when it shipped and I got a notification from the local shipping company scheduling delivery. Since it was December in upstate NY I took off work the day of delivery to be at home since they were just going to leave it in the driveway in the snow. No delivery. I waited until the 10 hour delivery window had passed and called the delivery company and they never received the couch from Target.

Three days and 4 calls later they found the couch but it was damaged. Before refusing delivery I contacted Target about a replacement because we got rid of our old couch when it was first scheduled to be delivered and we're hosting Christmas and needed something. I was assured that a replacement would be processed and I would get it in time for Christmas.

A week later there was no movement on my Target account. The replacement couch order still said processing. I called Target to confirm the order was moving forward and a very rude customer service person told me I needed to just wait and to give him a break because he was getting hassled all day (at his customer service job). 3 days later still no movement so I called back and was told the original replacement was not processed correctly and they would move it through now, but the item is now back ordered. It was already Dec. 20 so I would have no couch for Christmas.

On Dec. 24 I checked online and the item was back in stock. I called to confirm there was nothing else I needed to do to make sure my order would go through. After 45 minutes waiting on the phone the customer service rep with a very thick Indian accent couldn't understand what I was asking so hung up on me. I didn't have time to call back and deal with it then. On Dec. 26th I got an email notification that my order was cancelled. I called immediately and they put in a new order and I had to wait to speak with a manager to get the price adjustment to the original price I paid.

On Jan. 11 I got my couch- 7 weeks after I originally ordered it. When they cancelled the first order for no apparent reason they didn't process a refund correctly. I have called twice to have it processed and supposedly it will happen in the next few days (it's Feb. 17)- I'm not going to hold my breath. All along the 12 customer service people I talked to didn't care that this was a ridiculous situation or was apologetic in any way.

Target's "2-day shipping" is a complete joke. You'll really receive your items in about 5+ business days. If what you need is time sensitive, get it somewhere else! A recent order of mine took almost two weeks for it to arrive. I don't understand why Target is ALWAYS behind? No wonder so many rather deal with Amazon!

The stores are clean, easy to maneuver a shopping cart in and most always uncluttered. Employees are pleasant and eager to help with questions and finding an item. I ordered a Fisher Price Jeep on 12/9/18. I got an email that told me who would be shipping my package. After I read all the negative reviews about EFW, I was little nervous. My experience wasn't really that bad. Target said my package would be delivered between 12/20-12/24. When I checked back after I got an email that said it was on its way, my date had changed to 12/21-12/26. I was a little upset because this was supposed to be a Christmas present for my 3 year old. But I didn't worry too much about it.

I finally got an email from EFW on 12/17/18 at 3:30 pm that my package was set to be delivered on that same day before 6 pm. My package did not come that day. The package did not come the following day either. On the night of 12/18, I emailed EFW asking when would my package be shipped. They said it would be there by 12/19. Well to my surprise, it did arrived on that day. The package was not damaged. I don't know where the package was left because someone else in the household put it in the house. My experience wasn't as bad as a lot of the other reviews. They did waste my time for two days but, it arrived before Christmas so I was okay with it.
