I ordered 2 chairs from Target online for $140 each $298 total purchase. I paid $75 with a gift card and the rest on my debit card. After a dew days I check on the status of the order and it said they shipped one chair and the other was canceled. I contact customer service twice and they confirmed one chair was shipped and the other was cancelled because there was an issue with their inventory showing in stock. They never notified me of the cancellation otherwise I would have canceled the entire order, I'm looking for matching chairs, I don’t why it's so hard. I see the new receipt and it says they have now charge my debit card for one full chair $149 and kept my $75 gift card. Their solution was to find a me a similar item (mismatched chairs) or for me to refuse delivery or take the arm chair to a target store to get my money back.
Now I have to wait on the holds to be released from my bank account so I can have access to my funds, wait on the chairs to be delivered so I can refuse delivery, start the whole shopping deal again and be without chairs when I needed them for an event. Of course nothing was offered for the inconvenience so I ask what could they do for me as an upset customer, Luis and Erick senior escalation specialist in guest services said there is nothing else they can do but a $10 gift and that they typically don’t even offer that because to them they resolved the issues. And Erik also advised me to call FedEx to refuse delivery, so I did, and I can’t refuse the item because it doesn’t require a signature so I must call the sender and see if they could do anything about or I have to wait around and catch them when they deliver it. If you don’t want the hassle pick a different online store.

Overall, I’m really happy with the experience. The product works well and looks just like it was described. The delivery took a bit longer than I expected, which is why I didn’t give 5 stars, but the quality made up for it. Customer service was polite and helpful when I had a question. I’d definitely consider ordering again.

They change prices higher when you login. They penalize you for buying from them and jack up prices on the same item, think you will pay above regular or sale prices based on zipcode or other stolen data, think they can milk you like a patsy to their greed. No, I shop elsewhere. Now grocery drugstores, Walmart want to use electronic tags to raise prices during higher traffic or more women in store, or stolen data about you etc. I stop buying from this place. Boycott greed.

I pre-ordered a book that comes out this month back in May of this year. Every month I have had the hold payment check my funds while I waited. This month, I got an email because the card I had on file was having issues and I had been fighting with my bank for days about it. I spent 2 days trying to sort it out, reached out via chat and called in. The first time I called, the woman got annoyed with me and became very rude. The second time, they told me to just keep contacting my bank. I could not get the card issues sorted out, so after 5 months, I lost my pre-order for a book I can no longer get. I am very upset and so unimpressed that there was no way for me to change my card to one that had no issues.

I purchased an item online. I received a email alert that the package was delivered to my home. I searched outside and no package was found. The link they sent via email showing a picture of proof of delivery was not a picture my home. It was someone else home And the city in the email showed Glens Falls, NY which is not my city and nowhere near Glens Falls. My credit card company sent them a dispute letter because your customer service representatives are useless over the phone. The delivery person did not deliver to my home. The city was a different city in the link they sent me. It shows a different city than my city and then it shows my address but the picture was not my home.
My credit card company did not receive a response in reference to this dispute letter that they sent to the merchant, Target, managers, and representatives insisted they replied to the dispute letter which they did not. Whoever reads this trust me I’m not the only customer that had put a complaint in with the Better Business Bureau. There are several complaints about the same issue. They’re using drivers and sending packages elsewhere and not refunding the customers that paid for those products. This company is crooked. Beware if you purchase anything online, trust me if you don’t get it and they said they sent it. Don’t think you’re gonna get your money back. This is how the Target stores are staying open, not delivering packages and keeping the customers in the money.

I’ve been going back and forth between Samsung and Target for weeks, and this has truly been a nightmare. I purchased a Samsung tablet through the Target app—it was under a 1-year warranty and I’ve had it for less than a year, with minimal use. Despite that, the device locked up and became completely unusable. When I contacted Target, they refused to assist and directed me to Samsung. Samsung then informed me that the tablet is an international model and because of that, they are refusing to honor the warranty—even if I were willing to pay for repairs.
This is unacceptable, especially since the product was sold to me in the U.S. via Target’s official app. No indication was given that it was an international version or that it would not be covered by warranty. After countless hours on the phone and multiple escalations, I’m left with a $400 paperweight. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in both Samsung and Target. Buyer beware: Always double-check what you’re being sold. Apparently, even major retailers like Target can sell you international models with zero U.S. warranty support. I will never buy another Samsung product again—and I’m seriously reconsidering shopping with Target, too.

Was not told when she went in the store you can't use it on online orders. I guess this is their way of making some money off their customers because I probably won't be able to use it. I'm so fed up with the way they treat their customers. No wonder they are in financial trouble. Called customer service. They are not any whatsoever. SO 😡.

Normally the Target website functions very well. It is well organized and facilitates the shopping experience. Their delivery staff is excellent. But yesterday I ordered a $49 + microwave to replace the hotel microwave that was not working. At that time it was too late to expect hotel management to replace the non working microwave. I found out upon delivery that I received the extension cord no microwave. I looked on line and found that the microwave was cancelled from the order. I assumed that that particular microwave was not available. Now while purchasing a $54+ microwave I found out that that $49+ microwave is till available on the website.
1. Why was the $7+ extension cord delivered since Target states plainly that orders under $35 are not subject to same day delivery?
2. Why did the shopper not informed me that the $49+ was not available at all. If that is the case Target was able to replenish their stock overnight?
3 The shopper is not allowed to let me know that the ordered item is not available so I could tell her to purchase a similar microwave? It was only one item not many to replace. One text I did not get.
You can imagine why I am mad at myself for leaving the minimal tip. That delivery deserved 0 tip!

A corrupt company inside and out. As someone who has spent tens of thousands of dollars at Target to have been put through what I've been put through today, it cannot be allowed to continue. I purchased an item that ended up being defective, the store rep told me to contact phone support, phone support told me she could've helped and that she gave incorrect info. I went back to the store, the "manager" Elissa, who has absolutely not business being in any kind of power role told me she would rather be doing something else than helping me. HER EXACT WORDS.
I have 3 kids, I would rather be changing diapers than dealing with her smug attitude and ego. She then decided she would help me, but then "suddenly" had an issue. I told her the person from phone support told me if any issues to contact them, which she didn't want to do, but I stayed and she eventually dialed. She whispered stuff with them, which was grossly unprofessional because you don't whisper if you're trying to do what's right. Eventually, after whispering and conspiring I was told she wasn't going to do anything, even though she told me she would.
I've been bullied by this company, been sent on wild goose chases, disrespected, told varying things, and not one person had the integrity to carry through with it. It's a very simple solution, it's a very easy task to make right, they decided to spit on me and treat me like garbage and intentionally try to bait me into something. I simply cannot believe how disgusting this company has become. Elissa should be unemployed, not exerting a power trip over people who keep the lights on. This needs to be made right asap, it's super simple, but the company instead would rather treat a loyalist like absolute trash.

07/16/25. After spending over an hour shopping for 15+ items, I left the store without buying a thing. One manned cash register was open. I got in line behind a person with a buggy that was literally overflowing with many non-grocery items, such as socks, plastic dishes, clothes, etc. She was trying to count items and review sizes of what was in her buggy as we waited on the person who was checking out. I’m not sure if she was adding up prices or not. Realizing that it could be a very long wait, I moved my buggy and went to self checkout, which was not full. The 8-10 kiosks all had a sign ‘Express checkout 1-10 items only’. Hmmm. I went back to the manned register behind the person with the full buggy, who had started the checkout process. Two smiling employees came up to the cashier and told her they were there to relieve her.
One began introducing the other to the cashier. None of the 3 acknowledged me, smiled at me, apologized for my wait, offered to go with me to self checkout to assist, referred me to customer service for another checkout option, came and looked in my buggy, etc. At this point, I came to the conclusion that Target only wants customers who buy 10 or less items and are good candidates for their many express self checkout registers. I pushed my buggy to the side and left. I stopped and talked to one employee on the way out and told him the situation. He agreed that all available self checkouts were for 10 items or less and that I had no other option but that one register. He also did not offer another solution or apologize.
I usually do not mind waiting when the store is full and all employees and stations are busy. This was not the case. It was clear to me that I was not their preferred shopper yesterday. Target management needs to address customer needs with their checkout. As I drove off (3:13 pm on Wednesday), I called the corporate customer service number and spoke with Mark. He listened carefully. Thank you, Mark!

NEVER GO TO THE SOUTHFIELD TARGET LOCATION!!! I was sold already opened, broken, incorrect merchandise with missing pieces and was not offered an opportunity to exchange or refund the broken merchandise. An employee in tech clearly substituted it because the tech was "locked" on the shelf. Today I bought an Xbox controller (white Xbox elite 2 controller) from Target Southfield, when I got home I noticed the tape on the box had already been ripped open, the controller was not even the correct color advertised on the box (it was black), it was also slightly damaged and had clearly already been used before - in addition it was missing the charging cable which was clearly stated on the box was included with the item. I went back to exchange the item expecting a full refund but the employees and manager said it was against policy, basically accused me of exchanging the merchandise with broken merchandise??
I got so frustrated I ended up having to buy a second white elite 2 controller without any refund for the tampered merchandise. I'm so livid I submitted an incident report with Target guest services. I'm convinced one of the employees in the tech sectioned opened the box and substituted the merchandise before putting it back on the shelf (as the controllers are "locked" on the shelf... and only a few employees have keys). I spoke with manager who didn't want to hear it and basically blamed me and said "there's nothing he can do." I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

The male manager said that according to the store policy this item cannot be returned and they don’t have another one in store for exchange. I have to go to another Target store TRY to exchange it and there is nothing he can do. He also mentioned that people tampering with the item right in front of my nieces. He acts like this is my problem and the store policy doesn’t hold any responsibility or any value of the merchandise sold in store. I told him that the store policy make no sense but that is he proudly said it out loud. As a customer and consumer, I have my right to hold you accountable for my purchase.
He repeated a few times “it's only $15“ with the judging glance at us show his opinions about us as a customer. Both of my nieces was embarrassed and kept telling me to leave. I told him that this problem is NOT about money. It’s about doing the right thing and your merchandise. Once you left the store, it is your problem for not be able to check the inside of the items that you purchased. I asked to talk to another manager and this female manager was even better. She show up, without any concerns or ask for details, she flat out said that the receipt show item cannot be returned and they cannot do anything with this. I stood there thinking what a team. This is how the store do things nowadays. You realize that they displayed the store name with a very bad reputation and they simply doesn’t care. I never in my life even bother to waste my time on this kind of issue, especially only $15.

The delivery guy called to tell me that they didn't have it in the store. I called the store and they said someone must have just bought them. I asked to cancel order ($305). They agreed. When I checked my cc, They charged me $382. I called and they said that was in case they sent me an upgraded model, they said it was in the fine print. I ordered a Dyson vacuum cleaner from Target online with next-day delivery. The next day, they delivered an opened box with a dirty, scratched, and broken vacuum inside. I was shocked. Naturally, I expected that when I informed them, they would apologize profusely, pick it up, and deliver a proper one. Instead, I couldn’t reach their customer service phone line for 40 minutes. When I finally connected with a real person through their chat (after dealing with bots), the representative told me I had to return the vacuum to a Target store myself. Let me emphasize: I was sick, it was winter, I don’t have a car, and I was supposed to carry a large, heavy vacuum to their store—all because they delivered a broken, dirty item!
When I expressed how unacceptable this was, the operator, Lyna, implied I was lying by saying they check all items before delivery. I had literally received a used, dirty, broken Dyson in an open box! To top it off, she abruptly ended the chat, leaving me no chance to respond. I was furious. I had no choice but to take the vacuum to the nearest Target store, which was an hour away. Once I arrived, they informed me they couldn’t accept the return and directed me to another Target store, which was a 15-minute walk from there. So, I had to carry that vacuum again, in freezing weather, to the next store.
When I finally returned it and explained the entire situation, their solution was—drumroll please—to refund my money. I needed that vacuum cleaner that day. Instead, I received a dirty, broken item, wasted hours trying to resolve the issue, and endured horrible customer service. To make matters worse, when I called the customer service line again to escalate, they said, “We’ll notify our colleagues to make sure this doesn’t happen again.” When I asked how they planned to compensate me for my time and effort, they offered me a $5 gift card. Yes, you read that right—a $5 gift card. I’m beyond shocked. I spent more money just traveling to their store, and this was their idea of compensation.
After all this, I left reviews everywhere, and not a single person from Target reached out to me. They truly don’t care about their customers or the experience we have with their service. If you order something from Target, be prepared to receive a dirty, used, broken item—and expect to do all the heavy lifting to fix their mistake. Thankfully, I ordered a vacuum cleaner and not a refrigerator or a sofa.

When I followed up, I requested a refund instead of a replacement, as I no longer needed the item. However, I was told that since the replacement was already processed, I would need to wait until it shipped and then call again to cancel. I did so, and the item has since been returned to your warehouse, but I have yet to receive my refund. The service in Beaumont TX store is very poor. I went there to pick up an order placed online. When I arrived there were 4 people ahead of me in the line. Soon there were 6 people behind me. There was only one associate working the pickup orders. She had to work the front service deck and go to the back of the store to retrieve the orders. I was there 45 minutes just to pick up an order. I asked for a manager. A dept. manager came; not the manager of this dept. Another dept. manager came. Then an assistant manager. The manager refused to come to speak with me.
The store was not full considering it is one week before Christmas. There was merchandise on the floor in the women's clothing areas, the floors were actually dirty, associates avoid eye contact to discourage customers from asking for assistance. I left my phone number and asked that the manager contact me. It has been 7 hours since I left the message. I do not expect a call. She was too cowardly or apathetic to speak with a concerned customer. These are the reasons that most customers prefer shopping the largest online retailer. This may be just another store to shutter in Beaumont, not from low demand but because of extremely poor customer service and the ineffective and inefficient management.

He told me we were kicked out of guilds because of our awful behavior. I told him my grandparents fled pre WWII Nazi Germany. He said most countries have kicked Jews out for good reason - we are bad people and deserving of this treatment. I was mortified as the people behind me in line stared in disbelief.
When I told him I found this very hurtful he said "Well I'm sorry but it's in the Bible and it's your history". This is about a shipping experience. Normally I have very good experiences with shipping from Target. This time was an exception. I ordered 4 large bags of cat food. 3 were in one box and one was in another. Upon opening the one with 3 bags, I found ants crawling in the box and around the bags. When I pulled one of the bags out I found a hole on the side. There was a poor attempt at taping over the hole but it failed and was not covering the hole and was barely stuck to the bag. So whoever packed the box for shipping must have known there was a hole but shipped it anyway. When I contacted Target to fix issue they told me to return it in order to get the refund. That was ridiculous. I put it in a large plastic bag and took it back to the store. There were ants crawling all over the bag, inside and out. Yesterday - June 29, 2024 - I entered the Stockton Target branch located on March Lane in search of a flat screen TV. I knew exactly what I wanted so it was all about price. Many "Big Box" stores carry the size and brand of the TV I was shopping for at a similar price but only a few offer a military/veterans discount which is typically 10 percent off. It was just after 10 am on a Saturday so the store was just getting started.
After milling around the tech section of the store I flagged down an employee to get a price on the TV I was interested in and see if the veterans discount was available. I was told that the discount was being offered but in order to get it I needed to be a member of the Target club. Any Vet our there reading this knows this is not unusual. So, I pulled the phone from my pocket, located the App store and went to work signing up for a Target account. This was pretty straightforward: jump through a bunch of hoops, answer a dozen questions and your there.
Getting the discount proved to be more difficult. It was still early in the day and manager types were getting their departments open for business. I found a vacant chair next to one of the cash registers just a few feet from the television I was interested in and sat my old ** down. One of the "manager types" came by to unlock his register and get ready for business. He took one look at my confused face and inquired if I was having a good day. I responded: "my day would be better if I could get my 10% veterans discount".
At this point Mike, his name is Mike (late twenties, early thirties, about 5"10 - 6 feet, ** complected, about 175 - 200 pounds) took charge, and my phone and did all the remaining grunt work. All this work took about 40 minutes, which no doubt put this busy guy behind in his duties. As it turned out that location of Target did not have the tv I wanted in stock. But Mike took the time to find the Target stores that did have one in stock... This guy deserves a raise, or at the very least recognition for his stellar customer service. I am a satisfied Target customer.

Hello the link in the reply doesn't work, so I need the correct information to contact someone for a resolution. My appointment was 12/20/24 and I waited about 1.30 hours for another doctor to arrive, because I was informed upon arriving that the doctor on duty was sick. I'm new to this area, so I didn't even know Target offered optical services. I should've ran in the beginning because my first initial encounter wasn't great. My exam was very fast and that's the reason why I had to call because I couldn't see. I did ask the doctor if they had a certain machine for the test I always pay out of pocket (optomap), which they didn't offer at this location.
I called and Reva answered the phone and was chewing in my ear which was rude. She was very argumentative and you would've thought she was the ophthalmologist. I, also informed her of the contacts didn't work and what brand I usually wear. I went to the target again to get my prescription and Reva was looking down on her cellphone as I've witnessed before with the assistants. I heard cursing and Judge Joe Brown's podcast or YouTube video. I just couldn't believe she didn't turn off the video. She just keep listening as though I wasn't present. I asked her for my prescription from my eye exam because I had made another appointment where I usually visit because this optical location and my visits wasn't pleasant. I submitted two tickets (1/11 and 1/19 ** & **) because you cannot reach any supervisor's for optical.
I actually visited the Target in Columbia, MD and was given the incorrect contact information. The phone number is incorrect and you cannot speak or chat with anyone, you have to submit a ticket. Well, I did and mention my frustration and unprofessionalism I encountered. The ticket response was weird because they closed the ticket before even contacting me for information, so I submitted another ticket and the regional manager contacted me on 1/23/24 (Mitch **) and he was in his car, so he probably didn't hear me and didn't seem too concern which is concerning, because he asked me to call another location and see that same doctor. Why would I revisit the same doctor that gave me the incorrect prescription? He said it’s the "culture". I would never visit this location. "Be aware". I would like my refund! Target Optical (Owner).

On Friday January 5th (2024) I went to Target @ Blackstone/Bullard located in Fresno, Ca to do a routine pick up of an online order, I usually go to the "RiverPark" Target to do this, but on this particular day went to Blackstone/Bullard, where I proceeded to stand at what I thought was the front of the line for online Pick Up Orders due to the signage that was there up on the wall, (just as I have so many times at the RiverPark location), however No one was there to help me, I stood patiently for over 5 minutes, thinking maybe they was off getting someone elses order as they do, then I finally gave in and asked the young person who was at the closest cash register nearby at the Returns/Exchanges counter, I waited for him to be in between customers so as to not interrupt while there was the handling of a fellow customer.
When they finished with a customer, I asked when someone was going to come over to where I was to do their job for my Pick Up order(?) He outlandishly responded with repeated redundant verbal abuse(?!) He was making it as if I was trying to cut in front of the other customer in front of him, however I was still staying over standing only in front of the Pick Up orders line, & asking only about that line. I tried to explain this some more to him, & he just kept on with the same repeated redundant verbal abuse(?!) So I walked off, & asked a female employee located by the regular cashiers what was going on, she informed me there was no one working the Pick Up Orders line, and that we ALL had to go to the Returns/Exchanges line, even for Pick Ups.
So they were not being true to their signage (as the RIverPark location is, that is true to its signage), anyway that is ALL he had to inform me of, it would've took him up to 5 seconds literally to inform me of that - plus they need to have put up a sign on the counter of the Pick Up Orders counter to inform people that they needed to go to the wrong line - Returns/Exchanges line instead - for their online Pick Up orders. It also caused that customer that was next in line in front of him to have to wait longer for customer service because they had to wait for him to go through his verbal abuse of another customer - me - instead of once again the literally only up to 5 seconds it would've took him to inform the other customer - me - that I had to get into the different line to pick up my online Pick Up order.
I then got my pick up order, thankfully from a different employee who was working the Returns/Exchanges line, and was also thankfully courteous and understanding merely like Customer Service is supposed to be, then I went back over to the female employee who informed me that I had to go to the wrong line to get my order, and I told her I wanted/needed to talk to the supervisor/manager over this toxic abusive employee (who is named "Eric"), the so called supervisor/manager was also a young male and was named "Isiah", and he took a LONG time to come talk to me, and when he finally did he showed that he had sympathy for his fellow young male, no real kind of supervisor/manager whatsoever, so I needed to speak to a manager above him unfortunately, but I didn't have the time at that point so I left.
I have worked Customer Service myself, and I can NOT imagine ever going verbally abusive on a customer, including merely over the customer needing help in the area of Customer Service.(!) This employee "Eric" should be fired, & "Isiah" should at the minimum be demoted, he is not any kind of supervisory/managerial material whatsoever.

I also was offered no receipt by their automatic machine which is why I would like to talk to them before going back there. I consider the service subpar at best. No one helped me find anything, although there were a clump of people standing and talking together. I want to get these tags off and get on with my life and I don't want to go back.

A new retarded charge from woke climate change fighters - Bag fee $1. When you buy online even if it is an item that has no business to be in a plastic bag Target will apply $1 to your total balance for a bag fee. Because Target "wants to make a stand" to fight plastic pollution. So I have to buy a bag that I don't need for one small item so Target can make an extra dollar from each consumer to fill up their pockets. Nasty store. Not shopping there ever. I made a large purchase at Target 26 hours ago. My billed totaled $691.71 including tax. I purchased items for my bedroom and living room including bedding and blankets, etc. I went home and my purchases not work in my home, so I returned some of my purchased items today (about 26 hours later) with my tags on and my original receipt. I used a bunch of gift cards that I received for teacher appreciation week.
I still had to charge $546.12 on my credit card. When I asked for my refund of -$276.25 to be put back on my credit card, I was informed that it’s Target’s policy to either give a Target store credit OR put a percentage of my refund on each of the gift cards that I used (which were Target & Visa gift cards) And my credit card. I proceeded to ask for the refund to be put back solely on my credit card. They refused. This policy is unfair. The fact that I charged $546.12 on my credit card should indicate that I would be able to get a refund of $276.12 back on my credit card. I feel robbed. Now I cannot go to any store I want to purchase the bedding I need. This is ridiculous and wrong. I will not be shopping at Target in the future and I will be sharing my experience with others. This woman literally had a wallet purse btw. Then this self-checkout lady named Alice did the same thing to me! She told me, "You ** people always sneaky and try to take stuff so I go through all your stuff just like last lady."
I spoke to a manager and she did nothing. I called corporate and they did nothing. I gave corporate a description of the woman in front of me who was treated inappropriately too. That store doesn’t care about anybody. I’d rather go to Walmart after today’s experience. Alice is by far the most audacious and cold-hearted individual I’ve come across. I applied for the Red Card and found it is not a debit card. It is only a card linked to your checking account. It is not FDIC insured and is another avenue for your information to be stolen. Target has had a long history of personal data breaches. They added this potential breach to "provide" better piece of mind. Additionally, Target says it can take 5-7 business days to process payments using Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT). This is not the case. Target has taken up to two to three weeks to process these payments.
This is year 2023, not 1923. Electronic is supposedly instantaneous. Like Amazon movies, you can pay and access movies instantly. Target waits until you forget about the payment, then hits you with fees to ensure you think twice about shopping with them. Walmart is still cheaper. Whole Foods has better quality foods. Sprouts produce is locally sourced keeping small businesses going. What does Target do? Plant a community garden then abandons it. Yay Target...

I reported these charges and never heard anything back. These charges were not significant so I wasn’t concerned with reimbursement just wanted my card blocked. I received a letter in the mail about a month later stating I owe overdraft charges for a charge that was returned. This was one of the charges I disputed.
I called the number on the letter and the lady was extremely rude: she could care less about the unauthorized charges. She told me that I had 2 other overdraft charges over 6 months ago. I informed her that there was never any notification from my bank or target about overdraft charges and to send me a letter detailing all this and I will pay this after I validate the charges. She was upset threatening me with collections because I wouldn’t pay for these charges I was unaware of at that time. Target never stopped my card from being used either. She transferred me to another agent about the unauthorized charges and he kept me on the phone for a substantial amount of time and basically told me I was lying about the charges because they were made in the same town I live in.
I didn’t make these charges somehow someone got ahold of my info and it doesn’t matter which town it’s in. Maybe a work or social event regardless they were not authorized: I still have not heard anything and it’s upsetting to be treated like this. Like I said I didn’t even ask for reimbursement since the charges were not substantial just block the card and take off the overdraft fee. Target is too greedy to do even that! Target is an unethical company participating in privacy invasion and harassment of Americans. And there is vehicle harassment going on in the parking lots.
In the Wilton area, there is also a "rogue" driver of an 18-wheeler Target truck who spends his evenings cruising up and down the Northway harassing individuals in an aggressive manner, cutting off, etc. His vehicle has a "Maine" license plate (if that is even his real plate). This guy has literally been on the road driving at my car, around my car, cutting off my car, in a harassing, obnoxious manner repeatedly. This happened at least a half dozen times I have recently been driving on I-87 at night after work. He is abusing his role, driving a Target truck in order to intimidate people in his own community. While browsing the jewelry section, I noticed a Target employee standing approximately 10 feet away filming me with her mobile phone. She kept the phone trained on me at all times, regardless of where I moved around the jewelry rack. Note that this was not expensive or fine jewelry behind a case, this was cheap jewelry on a rack.
I looked directly at her, she kept recording. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, perhaps she was recording the rack itself and it had nothing to do with me? I even asked at one point "am I ruining your shot?" She ignored me and kept filming a few seconds longer. Finally, she lowered her phone and walked to the front of the store where the registers are located. The incident felt extremely targeted. The employee was a ** female with shoulder length blonde hair and I am a middle-aged ** woman professionally dressed with long dreadlocks. When the shipment arrived I quickly realized target had sent the wrong items- the pieces were not what I ordered, they were tall storage cabinets and not even close to the look of the nightstands I had paid for. I contacted their customer service and they advised they would place a new order, they did not want the items back because they were too heavy.
A few days later 2 new boxes arrived and again, I realized that they had once again Shipped something completely different than the items I ordered. I contacted customer service again and after another hour plus dealing with Bangalore reps who barely understand the situation I was told I had to return the items to the store to get my money back and if I wanted the right items I had to place a second order and pay again because they can't do a 2nd reorder. Absolutely nuts.
After pushing for a supervisor in the US who could communicate clearly, I was then told they would do a FedEx pickup of the wrong items and issue refund and I would have to pay again and place a second order. Fast forward - FedEx pickup up the items. I've paid for them now a second time and target has still not refunded my money or offered any sort of attempt to make the situation right or less inconvenient.
The company should take a hard look at their customer service in addition to their shipping /fulfillment issues. I received a $50 gift card for my birthday and tried to use it for an order online purchase. When I went to checkout and scratch the back of the card for the access number the sticker wouldn’t peel off properly to see the number. The sticker started to break off into pieces and the number wasn’t visible enough to use. I called customer service to see if they would give me a replacement and they told me to download the app to scan the bar code on the back only for an error to show up after several attempts. They then asked for me to provide an email to send a picture of the back of the card so they could verify there was still a balance. After sending it, they then tell me that they don’t have record of the card in the system probably because it was purchased in the store.
They then asked for me to ask the person who gave it to me for the purchase receipt. They asked for her phone number and email to see if she had an account. They were going to call her to see if she had a purchase receipt. This is not efficient way to handle this. What are the chances she still has the receipt after purchasing a month ago. I understand they need to verify the purchase of the gift card but if the long bar code and event # on the back can’t prove that there is money on the card, then what’s the point of the bar code. Why can’t they just cancel the card I have, and issue a new one. Giving out someone’s information and then asking for a purchase receipt (given they still have it), after taking a picture of the card seems a bit much to do to receive a placement card which takes 5-7 business days to receive in the mail when all the while neither party is at fault for a damaged card. It’s a hassle and inconvenient to say the least.
Target is not a new company and this process seems a bit intentional in the hopes that maybe people won’t go through the trouble to fix the problem that they didn’t even cause. It’s just not realistic that there isn’t a better way to trace gift cards if in the event it is damage. What then is the purpose of both of the bar codes then.

Meanwhile, they provide their employees with decent starting salaries, but give raises at anywhere from .5% to 3%. Maybe they should take some of their 13 billion in profits and take care of their employees. The COO makes over 12 million a year in salary and the CFO makes more than 20 million a year salary. It is pathetic in any business that these people think they deserve such a salary (if you break down the 12 million to 40 hours per week, it is 5,769 per hour), but yet they are so proud of the fact that they start their people at $15 per hour. Maybe if the top tiers gave up some of their salary, they could pay their people an actual living wage and maybe give them decent raises. Who needs or deserves to make over $5,000 per hour. Shortly after making the purchase, I received a message saying the TV was no longer available for store pickup, and that I should select one of the other available options. Those were:
*Shipping - Which said it would not ship to my address.
*Another Item - The EXACT SAME TV, but at FULL PRICE, not the sales price!
I called the store manager to complain about my experience and ask for the smart TV at the sales price. She checked their inventory and explained the online inventory was in error and different from their store inventory. Unless I wanted to purchase the floor display model - I did not - she did not have the TV to sell me. She offered to see if it would come on the expected Friday or Saturday deliveries or to work with me on the price of a different TV. I said that we could see if it would arrive. As an aside, I was upset to learn that a store manager can't adjust the order to get an item in order when a customer has been mistreated. Ridiculous! Of course, the TV did not arrive with the deliveries on either day.
On Saturday, I called Target.com customer service. They were unable to locate the smart TV anywhere within the Target system in order to send it to me. So Target sold me a smart TV, but wouldn't actually allow me to purchase and take ownership of said TV. Thanks, Target! As I explained to both the store manager and the customer service representatives, I can't stand Walmart. However, within 2 minutes on their website - and no hassle whatsoever - I purchased the smart TV that I wanted, and they confirmed they are preparing to ship it to me. We liked all the pillows we ordered and kept them all. The extra that got wet dried out just fine and Target said I could donate it which we will. Excellent!

I don't like that the Target corporation eliminated their overnight positions. Here is why. When I want to shop early in the morning now the employees are in the way restocking shelves, being too talkative (I'm not a morning person) pestering me if I need help. I don't like that, I'm a very good shopper. Let me ask YOU when I need help. This is why you have OVERNIGHT staff. The morning staff only get in the way. I want to have a quiet shopping experience with little interaction especially early in the morning which was when I preferred to go to Target. I ordered 10 packages the first time and over half had been opened. I was very disappointed but decided to give them another opportunity. The next time I ordered 20 Akedo mystery packs and when I received them every one of them had been pre opened. Complaint against Target today 12/27/2021. I’m very disappointed for action from the Team Associate to resolve an issue related to don’t let me buy a little Lego bag toy for my 7 years old son. This store isn’t oriented for the customer service. SuperTarget located at 10150 Bloomingdale Avenue. Riverview, FL. 33578. USA
Tonight at 7:10PM at Super Target my wife and I were I were shopping groceries, frozen items, and a little toy for our little kid. In fact, we are loyal customers with Target since we are living at Florida (21 years). Today when I was at the toy department I found on the shelves a lot of lego toys and I took a small lego bag (less of $5) “Racing Car” for my son. Daniel told me, "Dad I love it." Then, when we approached to the self service registers around 7:10PM we marked the groceries, frozen items, and the toy.., surprise that the label code for the Lego bag doesn’t work and we call the Team associate (bilingual girl) who was in charge at the self service registers. Then, she approached to the register and told me “I’m sorry but this item I don’t know where you got it but not suppose to be at the shelves until January 1st, 2022... you can’t have it....! It’s not for sale," she said.
I was in shock and I told her and explained that this Lego toys are on boxes on the shelves a lot of them and the price is around $4.96 or $4.97 and it’s a gift for my little kid that he’s waiting for. Also, I request to her for a manager on duty, and she took the Lego bag from the register... say sorry again and put it into the basket for the return car... Whatsoever, I felt lost and disappointed because the toy are on shelves for sale and this girl didn’t call the manager, I didn’t have the chance to talk with the manager because she doesn’t care, and also I couldn’t bring the toy for my kid .., I told her three times I will make a complaint about this unfair treatment and she say sorry and back to talk with another team mate. Honestly so can’t believe it.. we felt ignored 100%.
Then, when I arrived at home I explained to my kid about the Lego and he was very sad. Anyway, I don’t know if the Target Management support this kind of customer service treatment, but I believe that the customer is the 1st priority and ignore a customer is not really good. It’s totally away from the vision and mission of the The Corporation. In fact, I will find that toy and buy it for another retailer. I didn’t request anything for free. I request for let me pay the toy and at least to speak with the manager to solve this issue.., but it didn’t happen ... guys please learn from this issue and reinforce your customer service policies.
Trying again to buy the toy for my kid... Today 12/28/2021. I tried again to buy two (2) lego bags for my kids and definitely the store management for this Target don’t care the customers. I called ** the manager on duty and I explained the situation...and she denied the sale with a smile and telling me that the all bags and the items were placed by mistake. Honestly I don’t care about this... you put the items on shelves and you have to sell them and that’s it $4.99 per item. She must honor the sale as I told her but she didn’t care and said “NO” until 01/01/2022. It’s happened today at 4:05PM. This management is pathetic and non oriented to the customer service. For my side I won’t recommend Target anymore. (I have photos of the items on the end so shelves as proof.)

This is one of several visits I have made to Target's app to try and make a purchase. Firstly, search results leave a lot to be desired. Search for something and get results that have nothing to do with what you are looking for. Search with different key words and it gets more aggravating and more irrelevant. Then, if you do find things you'd like, there is a guessing game on shipping costs. Some items qualify for free shipping and some don't. Listen Target, most shoppers don't have time to play "does it or doesn't it qualify for free shipping games". I can understand why Amazon is so successful online, like the company or not. It's a very simple process without wasting time. If Target would put as much emphasis on making their business more convenient for the public rather than more convenient for Target then maybe their online sales would should increases like Amazon's does. As someone who designed Targets, I can promise they care as little about the customers as humanly possible. They purposefully design their stores so you get lost, have hard times locating what you want, and force you to spend as much time as possible in the store. This leads into the reason I will never shop at a single Target again in my lifetime. Upon needing to have a new bank card issued, I went to Target and wrote a check, to which it was declined even though there was enough money in the account to cover the purchase 100's of times over. Why was it declined? Well, because in order to write a check to Target, you must first have a good history of writing good checks.
Please, I would love to meet the team who apparently all failed kindergarten and came up with this asinine policy. Whatever stupid backwards logic was running through their heads when they created this policy was the last straw for me. No longer will I buy a single item from Target again in my life, and if you value being treated like an actual human being by the company you do business with, I would suggest you no longer shop there either, because to them you are nothing more than a pile of money.

Target is the prime example of corporate America. You would think all of their items are made of gold, diamonds and silk by the way they price their items. More people will almost always pick Walmart over target due to the fact that Target is a uppity type of place to be in and it's uncomfortable as a minority to even walk through those doors like we don't belong there unless we work there for a regular paycheck. I'd rather shop at Dollar General if Target was the last option for a major supermarket.
To be honest Target should be in places like Hollywood and Atlanta not is cities where you have more poor than rich. Its kind of an insult just looking at the prices and wishing you could afford that nice piece of decor or potted plant but that same potted plant can be found somewhere else at least 10 to 15 dollars cheaper and that is what bothers me about Target and the way they prove their items. It became well known to me at the conclusion of an "entice hackers to catch identity thieves" scam that Target gift cards were a popular method to scam consumers. The asset manager, who had finally asked me if I was being scammed, to whom I had replied "I don't think so!" was finally able to get through my trance, for lack of a better word. For one hour and fifteen minutes I entered and exited the store and was witnessed by the same clerk near the same self-checkout counters purchasing up to ten gift cards separately. Shortly after the conclusion of a terrifying four-hour experience, we were present at the Target store with a deputy sheriff. That same asset manager provided 21 copies of receipts for $500 gift cards.
My complaint is that Target training to detect consumers being victimized by scammers is abysmal or perhaps nonexistent. After Discover refused to reverse the unconfirmed purchases, I contacted Target for recourse. I was told that too much time had probably passed and that I could only recover monies that had not been used on the gift cards. Within minutes, the representative was able to tell me five of the cards had zero balances. My second complaint is that the asset manager at Target did not inform me that I should contact Target immediately with the gift card number on the receipts for which he had furnished the officer and me copies. Again, a lack of training for Target employees.
I had been promised refunds on any charges I made that day ... or I would never have left the house. Target had sales of $13,500 on Black Friday 2020 because of a scam for which I am liable. Target Stores could have been more helpful during and after this scam ... and I wonder about all the other scam victims. So I went all the way back home to contact the customer service and they told me that these items are only returnable in store and that Cleo advised me incorrectly. So I went back to the store for the second time and he again refused to return the item. He called customer service and then when he put the phone down he LIED and said that I need to call them AGAIN and get a pre-paid return label to send the items back to the warehouse. So I went back home again!
I spoke to another customer service advisor - Jenny, who reiterated the same thing that the previous advisor who I spoke to on the phone, that I need to take the items back to the store for a full refund. When I went back in to the store for the 3rd time, Cleo said he cannot “serve me or give me a refund” - specifically me. Apparently his manager Robert said this to him - but Robert was nowhere to be found when I asked for him!
HE then bought over another manager from the clothing section who didn’t have an idea what was going on. I heard Cleo bad mouthing me and was talking about me unknowingly that I could hear - calling me a thief and all sorts. He was very unprofessional and was talking about me to staff near the counter. Check the cameras!!
He then stooped so low and was racist towards me and said “We cannot serve people like you” (I can also go into why America think ** people are ignorant, because that is how ** people speak to customers like myself. But they wouldn’t like it if someone spoke to them like that!) This shouldn’t be about racism but unfortunately Cleo was xenophobic towards me as an Asian person. Disgusting behaviour! This wasted half day of my work time and I lost half a day’s salary, so I need reimbursing for my time wasted and I want action taking on Cleo for racism, discriminating and unprofessionalism. I sent this complaint to the store manager Robert **, but he has ignored my emails as he is rude and ignorant!

I have purchased multiple gift cards from Target.com using my Target REDcard with no issues. However, that has changed. I recently ordered some gift cards. The order initially processed and then I received an email indicating the order did not process but gave no specific reason. I called Target REDcard and was referred to Target.com who was told me a glitch occurred and it will be corrected and try again later. When I tried again the same issue occurred. I called back and was told the the orders were cancelled and that they would clear out overnight. Target.com shows that the orders were cancelled; however, Target REDcard still have the orders pending. I currently cannot use my card and calling Target REDcard no service has been a waste of time. I asked for a supervisor and that request was rejected. It has been over a week and the issue remains unresolved.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I bought a night stand from there. While building it I noticed 2 cracked load bearing boards, which I glued and clamped and all the holes needed drilled out because they were not deep enough and would have cracked the boards installing the screws. There was also a repair that had been done to the front face using putty and sand paper, but wasn't re-stained so I had to touch that up. I also had to put in supports on the bottom shelf because there was none per design and would have sagged as soon as I put weight on it.
I contacted customer service for a partial refund for my extra work on the stand and to save them return shipping fees. Their only options were to return the stand for a new one, but they were completely out of stock until for 3 months or return the stand for a refund. I made the stand usable after hours of building and fixing it so did not want to return it at all, just a discount of 10% or 20% or something. They refuse to answer me. So now I have to disassemble it and return it, which costs them much more in shipping than a discount. Then I have to wait for a refund and then purchase from someone else. Terrible customer service and a terrible experience!!!

I wouldn’t have believed a Target could have such bad customer service, if I’d not experienced it or witnessed it myself. On CHRISTMAS EVE (advertised closing 8pm), announcements blared overhead every 5-10 minutes from the time I walked in shortly before 7pm, stating everyone needed to be IN LINE by 7:30pm so that all customers were out by 8pm closing. As 7:30pm approached, the announcement changed stating the line would be cut off and if you weren’t in line you’d have to come back on Saturday, Dec 26th. Never in my 52 years have I ever heard of such a thing occurring in retail, but financial circumstances had me shopping on Christmas Eve for the 1st time ever, and I wasn’t taking any chance of being told I couldn’t purchase gifts for my grandson.
When I exited the store at 7:43pm, I passed an employee preventing several customers from entering the store through the exit doors (the entrance were locked). I said to a mother pleading with the employee to let her run in, for just one item which she knew exactly where it was, that it was unbelievable they were doing this and to contact corporate. However, I’d no idea that you can’t actually contact corporate. In my attempts, all calls were connected to “customer service” NOT in the USA, and the only help they extend is to make record of the complaint. I’m sorry but I do not consider management deciding to threaten and refuse entry to customers, and close doors early on Christmas Eve were in the same category as issue with an order or cashier being rude, etc.
My experience with their automated system and “customer service” lead me to believe they actually don’t care at all what a customer’s experience was. All of it has left a dark stain on my long-standing excellent opinion of them. Though I personally paid a price for choosing to visit their Culpeper VA store on Christmas Eve (despite asking if I had everything, items paid for and on receipt were not in my bags), the pleading mother being denied entrance affected me more. I called another Target and their doors were NOT locked before 8pm. Whoever made that call in Culpeper, should be out of a job. Retail obviously isn’t for them.

I ordered my gift cards online because of the delivery date. These cards were to be delivered on 12/9 which was ok but I have to mail these cards out so I didn't have much room for delay. Today is 12/12 and my cards have still not been delivered. Now I am being told that they are scheduled for delivery today (although the tracking says the number is invalid!) by supervisor Logan, at Target gift cards. As I suspected the cards were not delivered today is 12/13 and they should have been here on 12/9 and of course now the tracking number is no good, Target only tells you after you call and complain that the cards will now take 7 business days. The customer service people refuse to understand that these were gifts to be mailed elsewhere.
I know I was told it was to be delivered yesterday to get me off the phone. I am really angry because I could have picked them up at the store but thought I would save time if I got them Wednesday instead of Saturday. The gift cards are not sold through a 3rd party vendor so Target can do what they want. Had I been told that I could not return these cards and that the delivery date would be different I would have not ordered them online. I have been a loyal Target customer for over 21 years, buyers beware even if it's a company you have dealt with for years, it is not the same, the service is now consistently horrible. I might as well shop at the Dollar Tree. At least I know what I am getting there. BE CAREFUL. TARGET GIFT CARDS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, NON- CANCELLABLE, NO HELP AT ALL FROM TARGET!

I have been to a lot of grocery stores in my lifetime. I have Publix (too expensive), Walmart (hit and miss) and TARGET. Target is always clean and a lot of customer service around to help. I love that they have outside of the box items. And their own brand is excellent. I have never been sorry for shopping and getting an extra 5% off with a Red Card. I also have become friends with the pharmacy staff and they are the best around. I love the superstore grocery, I can get all my shopping needs done at one time. Always nice to try new products and if they don't sell fast they will move them out. Love Target brand of coffees, Peppermint and Double chocolate are my fav. I always feel safe at the store. My Target has an upstairs parking deck, which is great when raining. Yes, I would say I love my Target!!!

This morning at 7:35am I went to "drive up" my pick up order at **, TN. that contained 2 items. When I arrived at 7:35am, I let them know that I was there per their app instructions. I was the only car there & when 7:50am came and my order still has not been delivered I called guest services. After waiting for guest service to answer the phone for a minute, I advised the rude nameless associate that I had been waiting 15 minutes for my order. She rudely told me that the drive up lady was on her way out. I told her that I did not see her yet, & she repeated herself rudely. I asked to speak to a manager & she told me he was busy. I told her that he could not be too busy to speak to a customer. Once again she said he was, & I said I would wait. So she asked me my name & placed the phone down so I could wait.
While waiting for the manager to pick up, the drive up person brought out a huge basket of someone's order that pulled up less than a minute from when she came out. This lady had the audacity to give that full basket to that car, before myself who had been waiting almost 20 minutes at this point. When she finally gave me my order, I had to give her my code verbally because it had expired off the app. No apology for my wait from this lady.
So, as I waited 10 minutes for the store manager to pick up, he finally did. He answered the phone "hello". I asked him if he was the manager b/c managers do not answer the phone hello. He said "that is how you answer the phone" in a disrespectful tone. I asked him for his name & he said Jared. I said, "You are the store manager for the entire store," and he said yes. I said I do not buy it, b/c a manager does not answer the phone after a customer waits 10 minutes with hello. He said "that I will have to buy it", and he HUNG UP ON ME.
Now, while all of this manager phone call was happening, I was driving to the **, TN location. When I arrived there, my order was brought out to me in less than a minute. Which just tell me how the ** location is being ran by immature teenagers, who are paid an hourly rate to be disrespectful to customers. Also, that location is the money maker for this company, so you think they would have people work for them that have some integrity.

I purchased this unlit 7’ artificial Christmas Tree at Target last week and was amazed at how full and truly beautiful it was once out of the box and fully decorated. The tree was on sale, I paid $34.20 after the sale price less my 5% Red Card discount. We have a small apartment tight on space, searched the internet, and came across Target’s “Wondershop” Christmas Trees. We checked the in-store display and decided to purchase it... And we’re so happy we did.

Buyers Beware of Target's Electronics Dept and 3rd party Market Source Inc mobile dept in Target, employees cannot be trusted with your personal info while they are setting up your new or used mobile phone. They will hack your phone, steal from your info and do idenity theft on you and the store managers and corporate will tell lies on you and back her untrustworthy employees up for committing crimes against customers. That's how they really make their money doing identity theft on customers.
Target Electronic Employees asking customers for your medical insurance info in order for them to do identity theft on you and get your medical insurance as well as hacking your emails, etc and all your online accounts. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak my husband and I decided to use online shipping for Christmas this year. Yesterday we received a gift we had ordered for our grandson, the Target box it was shipped in was in perfect shape with the target tape across it. When we opened the box the Fortnite Deluxe Bus box was crunched, ripped, and opened. Clearly the person putting in the box knew this and shipped it anyway. Returned it to Target to find out they are out of stock at every store within 150 miles and online.
Was able to locate it on Amazon, but had to pay 17.56 more for the product because it is no longer on sale. Target employees stopped just short of calling me a liar when I returned the item in the shipping box and wouldn't help me try to locate one at a Target further away. Definitely not going to think twice before shipping from Target again, knowingly shipping damaged items rather than dealing with the issue at point of sale is wrong.

Purchased a 70" TV only to find out that the TV in my box was not the one I purchased. Apparently, someone in Target's supply chain (Wisconsin) swapped out with an old/non-working TV and stole the good one along with all the accessories (legs, manual, remote, etc). The TV cost me close to $900 and I paid an additional $85 for the 3 year warranty.
When I reached out to Target customer service, they were responsive and promised they would reach out to Vizio (the TV manufacturer) to see if someone had connected to the internet on the TV with the serial # on my box BEFORE my purchase. Unfortunately, Vizio claimed they did not see anyone log on prior to the purchase, which puts me out of luck with Target. They were unable to assist me and now I'm out close to $1000 dollars. I am sick to my stomach. I do understand that it's my word and anyone could call up claiming what I did... Just frustrating that there are no checks and balances for high-ticket items like this.

Items, especially furniture, often arrives damaged due to poor packaging. I would say about 75% of all furniture items I've ordered from them come with severe damage due to poor packaging. However, they are so flexible and customer service is so great that I still continue to purchase their beautiful items. So many companies could learn from Target's great service (looking at you Pottery Barn!).

I received some (2 FREE coupons Up to $5.00 each from Kellogg's) to replace some Pop-tarts that I purchased. I went to Target to get my FREE product. I purchased my things. I give the girl my coupon, 2/$7. Cereal was one of the items I purchased. So I gave the girl my coupons and use my $5.00 free coupon I gave her ..She said, "We don't take these here." I said they are from the manufacturer. They aren't printed, I got them from Kellogg's in the mail. She tried it again and said, "We don't take these." I would have gone to customer service but the lines were long and also people behind me..So I gave her back the cereal. With using the $5.00 off coupon I would have only paid $2.00. That wasn't going to happen/So why if Target won't take those coupons and they sell the merchandise in the store. So I'd like to know what's up with that.
