I ordered from this company online because I used to shop in the stores. I purchased 20 items and after I had to return 6. I am still waiting on an email that my return has arrived on 1/23. Luckily I took pictures of the items and return label. Still waiting on return to be credited back to me on 2/16 after being told the latest will be 2/14. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THEM!!!

I ordered one blouse online on 12/18 which I were supposed to received within 5-7 business days from putting in the order. I received it the first week in January. I needed it the weekend of New Year's and had I known that I would receive it the first week in January, would've not ordered it. When I called to cancel the order "while it was still processing" mind you, they said it was too late and was sitting in a warehouse waiting to be packed then shipped and that "once" I get it, I can send it back (which costs money mind you) and they'll refund me. It's hard to get through to speak to anybody and no one ever answered my email. Their website states that it can be canceled if the order is still processing. That was not the case. New York & Company was never like this and I must say I'm very disappointed and will never order from them again. Their service has gone down tremendously.

I should have read the reviews here before I placed an order here but I made my mistake. I ordered 2 items 20 days before Christmas as gifts to my family and of course it never came on time. It did come on the 27th of December which is super lucky compared to what other customers here have experienced. When I received the item, the label attached to the back of the clothes indicates some random brand. Both items have different brands with the price tag from NYC. They probably just have some random Chinese company does the clothes for them without even boring changing the brand name to theirs. The materials quality is nowhere near what I paid for. All in all, horrible experience. Don’t shop here if you don’t want to piss yourself off and lose some money.

It takes forever to talk with Customer Service and if you do there's never a valid answer as to why you haven't received your order. They tell you that you will receive a refund on shipping but I have yet to receive it. This was my first and last time placing an order with this company.

Tried calling numerous times but no answer. Even stayed on once for 2 hrs and 45 min and no one picked up. Two emails sent, no response. Chat was of no help at all, said I would have before Christmas but still one item is MIA. Paid for upgraded shipping, what a ripoff. Website said item is in acceptance stage. I placed 2 orders for almost $500 worth of clothes for a funeral I paid for expedited shipping and my items have not shipped almost a week later so they will not arrive by the date promised. No one answers the phone and the chat operator could care less. These clothes were for my mother's funeral and now I have 1 day to go shop for everyone. This is a huge inconvenience and I feel like they should not be allowed to just rob customers and get away with our money. I'm so angry right now. Their online sales need to be suspended because at this point they are fraudulently Taking money with no intention on providing acceptable service.

They only refunded me the money for the products that did not arrive but for the shoe that I returned they still have not returned the refund and today is December 18. Their ‘customer service’ number and e-mail address is a decoy - no one will answer… ever. You will wait on hold for 30 minutes, an hour, or longer only for the phone to disconnect. When you e-mail there is no response. This company is literally STEALING money from consumers. I’m contacting the Federal Trade Commission because they must be STOPPED!

I called their customer service line, waited over an HOUR to speak to a representative. Explained that I went online to check the status and it still says processing. The representative DID THE EXACT SAME THING, telling me that's all she could do. I asked if it could be expedited since it should've been delivered at this point, then asked if I'd have it BEFORE DEC 17TH as it is to be given as a gift that day, and she said yes. I emailed the customer service asking what the updated is and no response.... It's now Dec 15th. Save yourself time, money, and stress, spend your money elsewhere. I used to be platinum member with NYCO and there used to be a time where most of my wardrobe pretty much used to be from NYCO. It's beyond sad and pathetic how low NYCO has repeatedly stooped down to and with ZERO customer service. You JUST CANNOT get hold of a live customer at all and have to be on hold FOREVER (like for HOURS). Their calls gets outsourced to Philippines and if you do get lucky to speak to a live representative, then NO ONE speaks decent English as they no longer have their customer care center located in US, the representative cannot transfer to someone who speaks English or to a US representative.
I've placed an order OVER 10 days ago and it STILL HASN'T BEEN PROCESSED and no tracking number has been generated even. Called multiple times with no luck and finally tried to speak to someone who just couldn't help with her strong accent and told me NYCO has no policy to cancel the order which hasn't been processed yet. I've to go on a vacation and didn't wanted to lose the package in my absence and also wanted to wear the clothes on my trip. I wish I had read all the reviews prior to placing this order, customers have been waiting 2 to 3 weeks for orders, totally unacceptable. It has been 7 days since placing my order. I upgraded my shipping to standard shipping vs economy being that 2 day and overnight was not a option to select. I was not aware that this company is in severe turmoil but since placing this order I can completely see why. I want this order canceled because I placed an order expecting it within a reasonable time frame, that is why I upgraded my shipping method. The website states to allow up to 24 hours for tracking update. It has been well over 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours.
I recommend anyone reading this to please save yourself a headache. This company has changed, it is not the same company it use to be. The customer service and company values have changed for the worst. I am extremely dissatisfied with customer service, the shipping processing time from the time that you place the order. This is a usa based company and that's clearly does not pride themselves on customer satisfaction.

Too bad there no such thing as ZERO stars. I placed an order on Oct 19th... today on Oct 31st it still shows "Processing" even though the items were supposedly in stock when I placed the order. My card has been charged the full amount, customer service hasn't responded to my emails about the order, and I have received no communication from NY&Co since the original email advising that my order had been received. I was totally understanding of the physical locations closing due to hardship created by the pandemic, but it seems as though COVID killed customer service at this company.
I have always loved their clothes and shopped frequently both in store pre-pandemic and online post-pandemic. However, the service level lately is so greatly diminished that I doubt I will ever spend another dime with New York and Company. Labor shortages are no excuse. If you don't have anyone to pack and ship orders in a timely manner, then STOP charging people's cards and locking them into keeping products they might have otherwise returned if your service wasn't so terribly SLOW and POOR.

If you ordered several items, we might send them in separate packages to ensure quicker service. However, you won't be charged extra shipping fees for this added service. Be on the lookout for a shipping confirmation email… it's coming soon!”
It’s now been 14 days, no shipping confirmation email. When I check the order status online I get this message “ORDER PLACED: 10/14/2022 ORDER STATUS: PROCESSING TRACKING: NOT YET AVAILABLE”. I’ve called customer service several times, and I hear the same story that it’s getting ready to ship and I’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with 24 hours and that never happens. When, I called again yesterday I was told they’ll give me 10% off my next order which is a joke as I can’t even get the order that I placed. BTW, I never received the 10% off email either. I typically do not have issues with orders from NY & Co, but recently, I placed an order in mid-October and only received an order confirmation e-mail. They allege that a shipping confirmation e-mail will typically be sent up to 24 hours after the order confirmation email. I never received the email and followed up with them two weeks later, only to be informed that they were switching warehouses and therefore, my order would be delayed. Instead of being transparent and alerting me of the issue with shipping my order, I did not receive any communication from them until I followed up.
Today, I attempted to cancel an item in my order since it will no longer arrive in time and was told that I will have to wait until I receive it and return it for a refund. The order is still “processing” and thus, has not been fulfilled and yet I am told I cannot cancel. This is unfair and honestly, puts me off the company entirely. I contacted customer service to get some type of resolution and unfortunately the blazer was no longer available in my size and since this was not a size issue more like a defect I requested some type of discount/refund and was told the max amount of a refund would be 7.50 as I had used a code when I purchased the item.
To have this defect repaired the cost will be well above that amount, and I stated such to the representative who then advised that this was policy. Customer service and company policy tanked during pandemic. You can no longer return in store (assuming you could find one left open) and policy is now that you must return within 45 days of ORDER date, not ship date. Unfortunately I placed an order online with this company before reading the reviews. I placed my order 9 days ago and it is still in the processing phase. I contacted the company to cancel the order since there has been no movement in the processing phase and I am in need of several dresses right away. The customer service representative could only repeat what I already know in regard to my order through looking the information up online myself. I attempted to cancel my order per the online sites own policy and was told that the order could not be canceled although their website clearly states that it can be cancelled as long as the order has not been fulfilled or shipped out.
I did not pay by credit card but by Paypal, and anyone using this form of payment knows that they only release the money once an order has been completed by the company and shipped out to the consumer. The customer service representative lied about the policy even as I read the policy to her verbatim from the company website while I was on the telephone with her. She also pretended to get a supervisor that somehow never came on the line to speak with me.
What this company is doing is tantamount to STEALING when the company policy allows for cancellation when an order is still in the processing phase. PEOPLE BEWARE AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!! If you receive your order I will be surprised. I will wait the month out and then contact paypal to have my money returned to me. The parent company is Saadia and I plan on making sure that I never place another order through a company that is owned by them!!!!

I ordered a bunch of clothing on sale and had them ship it to me. The 1st shipment, as soon as it was delivered (on 7/2/22), the package went missing. They used FedEx. FedEx claimed that they sent it to the wrong address. When I looked at the order again, NY & Co left out my apartment number. I think either a) FedEx left it in an unsecured location (which they have in the past) and someone took it or b) it was never delivered (happened a couple times at my apt bldg). I contacted NY & Co that very day. They said wait 4 - 5 business days - it "may" show up, even though I told the circumstances. Lo and behold, I waited 5 days and followed up with them (via email) to let them know it never showed up). NY & Co never responded.
Since then, I followed up w/emails. NO RESPONSE. So, on 7/20, I called and waited an HOUR to speak to a customer service rep. She said that they will submit an investigation (why didn't they do that when I told them it went missing?!) and that it will take ANOTHER 7 - 10 business day to "complete" the "investigation". Absurd. So it will be approximately 1 month before I get a refund! The 2nd package arrived with no problem, but I didn't like the clothes - they were cheap looking, so I returned everything. For THAT refund, it will take 7 - 10 business days. Their clothes and slow processes are not worth it! Shop elsewhere where they can handle volume and expedite issues in a timely fashion.

I went on the website about 7pm CT on Friday 07/15, placed my order around 8:20 CT. Was super stoked because some great items were on sale for $6.99 each and in my size too. I got a confirmation banner on the website page. I didn't realize at the time I didn't receive my email. I went on the site around midnight Sunday morning and can't find the order. I look for the confirmation email and can't find that either. I go to check, but of course at those prices everything is sold out. I cannot support a company with a website like this. There's also been repeated issues with sizing. I've bought large button up shirts that are too small and M shirts that fit perfectly. L dress I drown in and some XL dresses that are too small. After buying XXL bottoms and they were massive, I don't buy that size anymore. I have a large butt and thick thighs, so I consistently but the XL.
On my last order 1 XL have plenty of room, while the other is tight and I can barely fasten. There's no consistency in ordering. They don't have stores to do a free return, and I don't pay return shipping. After all the issues, I've still purchased from here and was looking forward to the great items in my 07/15 order. But, this website glitch was the last straw. No more of my valuable time or money.

I have tried calling 2 separate times and sit on hold for almost an hour without anyone ever answering the call.
I have also sent an email and here is the automated email response I received from NYCO Support: Thank you for your email! This is an automated reply to let you know that a New York & Company online customer service representative will be reviewing your email soon. Due to a high volume of orders, we are experiencing longer than normal delays and will send you a personal response soon (generally within 4-5 days) if warranted. Rest assured, we are working hard to ensure that orders arrive as quickly as possible. We understand how frustrating this can be and we appreciate your patience during this time.
The customer experience I have had is abhorrent, and I am concerned about product quality after reading other reviews. It is not acceptable business practices to have orders that are not shipped out with over a week since ordering regardless if shipping is expedited or standard. I will never purchase another item from New York and Company again.

The customer experience was deplorable. I had to end up speaking to a manager named Dawn who is rude and incompetent with zero consideration for the customer. The COMPANY obviously doesn’t care if a manager like this is employed there. Unbelievable way to treat a customer. Zero customer service skills.
Since I used a coupon there is no way to credit that back or send me the correct size but I can have a 10% discount on my next purchase. What kind of COMPANY takes care of the customer like this is beyond me which makes me feel the need to share my experience so nobody else has to go through this. I don’t care if they’re giving their garments away. I don’t want it after an experience like this. Find somewhere else to shop where the company cares about customers because this company just created a detractor to the greatest extent possible over a shirt sent in the wrong size which would be a simple thing rectify. Not if you used a coupon though apparently.

March 2022: Overview: NY&Co. is not the same company since being sold to European owner and closing all physical locations. The return policy is unreliable, charged usage fees even when exchange for same item or purchase a new item. The customer service agents show no concern, and are inconsistent with their answers. There is no one any longer in the USA that you speak to. The name should not be New York as if in America. I have purchased all of my clothes from NY&Co since 2016, but it is too much of a hassle to return or exchange.
Details: I purchased three tops, all the same size. However, one arrived and it didn’t fit well. I called the agent who said I could only return for full refund if I did an even exchange or ordered another item. Otherwise, there would be a restocking fee deducted. I chose to order the same top in a different size. They charged my card the full amount with shipping immediately and shipped my order.
My original order had free shipping so The agent told me that the shipping would be refunded, but that was after 7 business days. I returned the item via UPS the very next day and it still had the tag attached to it. It was delivered and signed for on March 21, 2022; however, it wasn’t processed for 10 days. I received a email on April 1 stating that a refund of only $9.66 was credited and I had paid $17.28 after the sale and a coupon.
Saturday, April 2: I just called and spoke to agent Elle in the Philippines who was so rude to hang up on me after I explained the situation asking for a $7.62 refund. I called back and got her again - yes, again. I asked for a supervisor. There are none on the weekend. I asked her to not hang up on me again, but to process the refund. She came back and said they’d process only $.57 and change a USAGE FEE of $6.95. (What usage? I tried it on, and returned it!!!). After much deliberation, she said she would process the refund of $6.95, but this total waste of time was over an hour today.
Should any return policy be this much of a hassle or take this much time or have such bad customer service? I have. Premier NY&Co credit card - you only get after many purchases - so they have lost a customer. I am looking now for a new company to buy my clothes from. I tend to buy from the same company once I find one I like - no more this European Company that needs to change its name to reflect who they are.
It’s no wonder Amazon is such a great online company - esp. with PRIME! They have sold me. I shop Amazon all the time now - just not for clothes or shoes. They have no hassles returns, wonderful customer service service agents. CHEWY is the same for pets - they have no hassle and arrive as quickly as Prime with auto ship. They even sent me flowers when my doggy died. These are two American companies to shop at. NOT the European version of New York and Company - they are terrible. Only good if you Never need to exchange or return!!!

I never received 1 of 2 recent orders placed, in which was delivered via FedEx SmartPost and I have a Ring Doorbell Camera that would prove if FedEx showed up or not.
I attempted to file a claim with FedEx after checking with USPS first and FedEx.com states only the company that shipped the package can file a claim. However, NYC said they would process a refund because the products are no longer available. I have been a longtime NY&CO card member until a few weeks ago. I closed my account (with a zero balance) due to the unprofessional and unfriendly customer service received. Following my phone call during which I closed my account and the customer service person assured me the balance was zero, I received a letter from NY&CO stating that I have a $28.06 balance and I’ll continue receiving monthly payments until balance will be paid in full. Also, the letter states the 4 main credit bureaus will be updated in regards to “my so-called balance”. I tried calling without any luck. I have no words to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with this company. I cannot bring my business to an insensitive company especially during the current hardship created by the Pandemic.

I later discovered that only 15 days were allowed when the item was returned back to me. Had I known that I only had 15 days, I would have returned it within 15 days. As I reviewed the back of the receipt it states: "Online Return Policy: If for any reason you are not satisfied with any item purchased, simply return it within 45 days of the order date to receive a refund at the net price (after and/or discounts). Other than defective items, all merchandise must be in its original conditional (unwashed, unworn, & price tickets attached)." I followed the instructions on the back of my receipt and NY&C refused to follow THEIR documented policy. This concludes my online shopping with New York and Company. So embarrassing to be @ work with ripped pants.
I tried to give them another chance but this company's products and customer service has gone downhill fast. I tried using a city cash reward yesterday and it says the city cash coupon is no longer valid but the exp date is 3/2/20. ANFMD the code was partially cut off on the bottom of the coupon. Also, I visited a store and changed my mind on purchasing several items I had because there were several sweaters on a $25 rack and I picked up one and was told by the cashier they were in the wrong place and they refused to honor the price so I left everything behind and left the store. I also spoke with the manager. She wasn't very helpful in the matter. Customer service is not of importance with this company.

If it’s not at a sale price and marked BOGO or some special offer. None of which can be applied with any coupon that I’ve tried using. This needs to be fixed. What is the point if sending out coupons at all or having special deals like “spend $100 get $50 off”. I have tried and tried to find items I can use in order to apply the special deal or coupon to no prevail. This is a huge flaw and extremely infuriating????

I called New York and Company, and spoke to someone about my items. I was informed that my package was delayed, and it could be up to five days before I received it. That would be a total of 15 days, that I’ve waited on a package. I asked could I cancel the order, and was informed that I could not cancel, since the package has been shipped.
I asked why do customers not receive notifications when their orders are delayed, as people often purchase things that they need for special occasions. The only response I got was “I’m sorry”. I wrote this post so that others would beware when shopping online at New York and Company. I’ve shopped with this company for years, and I must say the quality of service has really gone down!!!

With Gwynnie you get at the most 8 garments a month and I was expecting at least that. I got to wear 4 since 2 I had to send back because I did not like the fit. And they will NOT send you any garments to replace the ones you are not wearing. Unlike the other services that do. I would say the clothes I got to wear were cute. But not worth the money. I received NYCash from purchases I made in November. You get $10 cash no minimum purchase. I went to the store to redeem (can't use online) and found out you can't use on items that end in .99 (this was 70% of what was available in the store). If something was a percentage off you could use the cash but you would have to forego the discount. So if an item was $90 using 50% off if would be $45. If you wanted to use cash and had 4 (can't use more then 4 at once) it would cost you $50. City Cash is a HUGE SCAM as you can't sensibly use it in store during the time period it is valid. They are using the coupons to get you in the store and hoping you will stay and spend money even after you find out you can't use the cash you were granted. HORRIBLE PRACTICE!!!

I have shopped at NY&CO for decades. I had a terrible experience in the late 2000's and stopped shopping with them for quite a few years. Well, over the last three years I started shopping with them again and even though the majority of their products are poor quality and do not fit well, I'd somehow find a gem in every order that made it worth coming back. I recently sent a return back through the mail with a request to exchange one shirt and I never received the exchange. When I inquired about it they said I never sent the shirt back, which I did. Then on a different mail return they sent me the product back and said I was past the 45 day window (which I wouldn't have been had it not taken them over two weeks to process my return)! So stuck with a product I can't wear. And the straw that broke the camel's back happened this past week.
I had a pair of pants I needed to exchange and decided to go into the store to do it due to the previous issues I had when returning stuff through the mail. When I went into the store I wasn't greeted and the girl who came to the registers seemed annoyed. I didn't have the receipt for the item but I had the email confirmation and she acted as though that wasn't sufficient and that she needed my NY&Co credit card which I didn't have on me. She talked to me as if I was a five year old just learning English. She was then annoyed that she had to call to get my credit card information. Once she looked it up she let me know I was past the 45 days and there was nothing she could do. I was shocked because she didn't even try to help me or save the sale. She gave literally no ** whatsoever about what my needs were.
I was surprised, irritated, and asked to speak to someone who could help me and she said there was no one there who could help me because their return policy is a strict 45 days and if I don't like it to file a complaint with the company. Well guess what, I don't like it and here I am. I will NEVER shop with this establishment again. I have already canceled my credit card which I have spent thousands of dollars on to support this organization. NEVER AGAIN.

I have experienced discrepancies with my Online orders with NY&C for over a year. The store didn’t understand how I could pay at another store and pick the dress up at a store that had the dress in stock. After dealing with the store and calling Customer Service I was finally allowed to get the dress.
Fast forward to June, I went in a store to get 2 tops, a white one and a leopard. They didn’t have either top in my size. I was provided the item number for both tops by the clerk. I immediately called and placed an order for both the white and leopard tops using my credit card. A few days later I received two of the very same white top and not the leopard top. I called customer service and I returned the white top to the store and was given a credit. They were to send me another leopard top which I was charge for. Well for the next two or three days I received a leopard top every day. A total of three of the same leopard tops and I was charge for each.
After contacting customer service again I attempted to get this resolved. I was told to return two of the tops in the same packaging with the one return label and I would be credited. Well as of today I am still trying to get a credit for the two tops that I returned. They only want to give me credit for one. However, after waiting a week to receive my item, when I tried it on, it was too big. At first, I tried to exchange it in the stores. So, I called customer service and again, the representative was not friendly or helpful. I asked her about exchanging. I had to wait a while and then she explained how to ship it back. She didn't address my request for an exchange. She also said that I would have to pay more than $6 for shipping to return it. I shop quite frequently at New York and Company. I am a realtor and I like to look professional at all times. I always receive compliments on the clothing I purchase. I normally order online because they do not carry a lot of merchandise in my size (XS) in store. I wait until the clothing and jewelry are on sale - they have fabulous sales. If you combine earned City Cash with their sales then you get a lot of merchandise at a steal of a price. Sizing can be somewhat inconsistent. Their jewelry is gorgeous but some do change color after several wears - Not a huge deal for me because I purchase them all when they are on sale for $5.
My only complaint is that they changed the return policy, reducing the days from 60 to 45. I bought a dress on sale for $50, but never wore it (I gained weight). Imagine my surprise when I went to return it in store and was told that I was outside of the 45 days, so the most they could do would be to issue a gift card in the lowest amount the dress cost- $4.99!! I paid over $50!!! I was furious. Aside from the return policy, I am quite happy. I have never had a problem ordering online and returning in store or online.
Most recently, yesterday, to be exact, I made a purchase during the “buy one get three free sale”. After purchasing, one of the free items was canceled. I called to see if I could choose a different free item. They told me “no”, and said they could give me 20% off my next order. When I checked my account online, they charged me only a partial amount ($25) for the item that was the one I was to purchase at full price ($79). It looks as though all of the free items are out of stock. So, although I bought one item and got ZERO of the three free items, I was not charged the full amount ($79) of the item I am receiving. I get a beautiful jumpsuit for $25 instead of $79, so I cannot complain. I advise checking out their website and looking at reviews of the clothing. Most reviews include photos so you can see the quality of the items for yourself.

The first time it was lowered, I had already paid off half of the card, the second time it was lowered, was after I paid the card completely off. According to customer service, the company reviews your credit ever 3-6 months to determine your creditworthiness. The problem is when you are trying to rebuild your credit it does not help your score when your revolving credit changes so drastically in a short amount of time.
When I stated this to their “customer care” I was given the contact information for the 3 major credit reporting companies and advised to review my score - how helpful. According to their credit disclosures, your credit is not only based on how you pay them but also other companies. I ended up closing the account because it was not worth having while paying off other companies. Although I have been a customer for over 20 years, I am done. Now, it's like the company constantly raise their prices to gain from their items that are on sale. I was currently online and an exact shirt I paid $15 for last yr (on sale) is now $29.99 (on sale; regular $49.99). I'm talking about a basic shirt (nothing fancy). My advice to the merchant is, stop with the overpricing. If you're going to have a sale, shoppers need to feel as if they are saving. People like myself who have shopped with this company for years know when your prices are be raised just to make the money back from sales. Basically, it really isn't a sale. Take the true price of the item then mark it down. Don't raise a t-shirt (or any item) price $10-$20 then mark it down to a $5 discount because in reality you're getting the actual price.

The automatic system is the worst. When I was finally able to speak with someone it was not a good experience. They don’t care if you’re a loyal customer, if it’s your first time nothing matters. Two days later I received an email that my account has been credited for one item. Contacted their customer service and emailed them. I don’t know how many calls I made to them regarding the matter. Not a single day did they contact me to tell me what was the status of the investigation. In my mind they basically concluded I was lying. I had to pay the full amount for items I don’t have and close the account which will affect my credit. This company is nothing but a scam. NY&Co charges late fees immediately if payment is not received BY the due date. There is no grace period, and they are not understanding of any type of situation which might cause your payment to be late, internet outages or being out of the country. Sure, you can pre-schedule your payments, but this is not convenient for some people including myself, as I prefer to choose how much I pay every month and this is often over the minimum payment and based on my budget for that month and the next. I would like to make you aware and lodge a complaint regarding the service I have received while trying to redeem a coupon that your company sent to me to celebrate my birthday. I have tried for the better part of two weeks to use this coupon and yet have been unable to do so. I have tried to find something in the ONE store that is within 300 miles of my home which is nearly impossible considering there is nearly no stock in your store so I am left with trying to redeem online. Yet I cannot because everything is one sale and apparently even though there are no exclusions written on the back of the card you are unable to use if the item is on sale which of course every item is on sale online so therefore I am unable to use the coupon.
I have tried on multiple occasions to get assistance from customer service both by chat and by phone and am continually treated as if I am stupid and can't read. I am neither. THERE ARE NO EXCLUSIONS WRITTEN ON THE BACK OF THE COUPON CARD. I do not appreciate being spoken to as if I am stupid. I have over 25 years in retail and retail management. I am well aware of how coupons, etc work. My problem is DO NOT send a coupon to someone that cannot be used online especially given you have so few physical stores left. If I could use the coupon in store I would but I can't. I should not have to purchase something at full price just to use a coupon.
I have been a long time customer of your company but over the years I shop there less and less mainly because your product is not what it used to be and because I am continually treated like then when trying to use discounts and coupons. It is 10 dollars - I mean really. If you are that hard you for 10 dollars you really should not be sending them out to customers. Must less a coupon that is supposed to be a thank you and best wishes for their birthday. I will never step foot in one of your stores again. I will be filing a complaint with every organization I can think of regarding your policies and I will make sure that anyone I know is aware of how you treat customers over a 10 dollar discount. You have lost a long term customer. You should be ashamed.

There appears to be hundreds of pieces of tape still stuck to the walls that have never been removed from past displays. There appears to be black paint drippings of some type located all throughout the store on the tile floor. There are numerous tiles that are chipped on the corners and cracked. I did this, purchased a qualifying item that was even less than the canceled item, and when I was refunded I was only refunded for about half of it. I complained to customer service and said that wasn’t right, it was a replacement for a free item and they gave me some ridiculous explanation about calculations and percentages based on the full price item. First of all, I would like to start by saying, I consider myself as a very good customer of NY & CO. I place anywhere from 1 or orders a month. Here is what I do not like... I purchased a dress on sale for $44.47. I checked the website a few days later and noticed the dress was now $22.47... ok, so I tried to reorder the dress so I could send the other back because I already knew from a previous experience similar, this company does not offer price adjustments (I will get to that in a minute). Anyhow, by the time I went to check out my cart was empty, I immediately went back to put the dress back in my cart and it was then sold out. I called customer service and explained my situation to her and requested a price adjustment. The c/s rep informed me that they do not offer price adjustments. I would have to reorder the dress.
I proceeded to explain how that was wrong on so many levels... first of all, it was a matter of days that I am requesting the price adjustment, not weeks or a month (even though some stores give you that timeframe for adjustments). Second off, you want customers to reorder an item, turn around and waste our time to send the other back, wait on a refund from the cc company then wait for the reordered item to arrive! That is absolutely ridiculous to have a customer to jump through those types of hoops! I work very hard for my money and do not appreciate paying $44 for a dress then within days you drop it to $22 and then tell me too bad too sad we’re keeping your $22! That is bad business and no way to treat your customers!
If this situation is not rectified in my favor, I will be returning the $130 order for a refund and will take my business elsewhere. I wanted to purchase a jacket but was very reluctant because for 1, I am waiting on the outcome of this situation & 2, the jacket is 40% off now, who's to say after I order it then a few days or week later it’s 75% off, then I’m losing money again. Your company really needs to fix this issue by allowing a certain grace period for price adjustments where customers are not left feeling ripped off or scammed!

I was a long time NY&C customer for many years, I have not shopped with your company in some time, and today my memory was refreshed as to why. I implore ALL of you to log on to the NY&C website and ATTEMPT to make a purchase. All of the advertised "doorbusters" will either be unavailable online, or when you add them to your cart they will have been removed when you go to check out. Most likely about half of everything else you have shopped for at regular price will be removed from your cart as well, even after going back and changing colors/sizes and you think you can successfully purchase an item - nope removed! Then as you check out attempt to use your NY&C credit card... hmm that won't work either. Well I guess it's time to get help from customer service via chat. How odd, after 25 minutes of explaining over chat your problems they can do nothing and advise you to now CALL customer service. OK.
Now after calling and being on hold, explain to the customer service rep your problems. They will explain to you that they have been overwhelmed with complaints and this is happening to EVERYONE! So now put in your order via item # like it's 1986. OH THANK GOODNESS... PROGRESS! Nope, now 3 more items are not available. Now say "I don't care!" Please get what's left of my order in before more gets removed!" Then you will hear "Ma'am, I'm so sorry, your NY&C card isn't working, this has been happening all weekend." So you call the number on the back of your card, but it's Sunday! No one is there to help you! Now go back to the NY&C site, make your purchase with another card - get NO REWARDS, then regret going through with your purchase for the rest of the day and vow NEVER TO SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
This is outrageous! Type in NY&C reviews into Google search. The first site has a 1 star rating for your company and pages & pages of stories like this! The year is 2018, and you are just a click away from another site that has better service, quicker delivery, and you can ACTUALLY MAKE PURCHASES! Among other things, your coupons and mailers are a sham. Just try and take one into a store and use one, I guarantee you will hear excuses and loopholes, but never a "thank you, you saved X$ today" no exclusions... Give me a break! Shopping should be a fun, enjoyable, relaxing experience. What your company has turned it into is a disgrace. If you are all not actively doing something right this minute, you should seriously be considering a change in career.

I visited your store 106 in River Oaks mall on 5/27/18 at approximately 11:45 a.m. and I must say I am completely appalled by the level of customer service I received or lack thereof. Apparently my mom thinks I'm smaller than I actually am so for Mother's Day she bought me some jeans a size 4 and in actuality I need a 6; being that I work in customer service/retail sales as a store manager/District leader it is really hard to find time to shop/return/exchange. So on today I had a little time before I began to celebrate the holiday, so I decided I would exchange the jeans for a size larger at the River Oaks store 106 location because it is 5 mins or less from my home. I went to the store and as I entered there was a lady standing at the front of the store folding some shirts or something. I approached the lady and said, "Hi. How ya doing" because she never said anything to me.
I began to explain to her that I had received these pants as a gift for Mother's Day and I needed to go up 1 size, the lady stated, "I don't know if we have these anymore" so she proceeded to walk to a table at the front to see if they were still available. She then asked if I had a receipt and I told her no they were a gift for Mother's Day and I didn't want anything back. I just needed a larger size, the lady then states, "I don't know if they will take them back without a receipt because the return policy had changed." I asked her, "Not even if I just need a larger size?" She said, "You can take them to the counter and see." I then take the jeans to the counter and again explained that I would like to exchange the jeans for a larger size to a young lady who I assumed was the manager. She then asked me if I have a receipt. I state, "No."
She proceeded to ask if I had the card they were purchased on. I told her, "No. They were a gift for Mother's day and I just needed a larger size." She said without a receipt or the card they were purchased on that she couldn't do anything. I said, "Not even exchange for the same thing just a different size?" She said no. I asked her, "Was that the return policy?" and she stated yes. She stated that they had a new return policy. So after that I am a bit confused because again I have worked in retail for 19 years and I just couldn't believe the level of service at which I had been given. I ended up walking out of the store and I googled the return policy and it stated that returns without a receipt would be an issuance of a merchandise credit.
I never wanted a return. I just wanted an exchange, so that also makes me wonder a bit would the company prefer to issue a merchandise credit and lose money or just do an even exchange and keep the revenue? By this time I'm still a bit thrown off by the service received so I call the store in Chicago Ridge mall and simply asked, what's the company's return policy without a receipt? The young lady at Chicago Ridge mall stated that, "You can exchange the item for the exact same item for a different size." I said, "Oh because I'm here at River Oaks and they told me there was nothing I could do..." She asked me to hold and got back on the phone and said she just wanted to ask the manager to be sure but yes I could bring them over to the Chicago Ridge location and find the size I needed.
I was really grateful because I wanted to wear these jeans this day. After I hung up with the Chicago Ridge location I called store 107 in River Oaks Mall in Calumet City Illinois and asked if I could please have the name of the manager on duty, the person that answered the phone says, "Can I help you?" I said, "Yes. I would like the name of the manager on duty..." She said, "I can place you on hold and you can speak to her." I said, "That's fine..." She placed me on hold for 1 min and 17 seconds which was perfectly fine because they had a few people in the store when I left...
The young lady comes back to the phone and tells me the manager is busy. Would I like to leave a message? I say, "No. I would just like her name." She goes on to say, "Well let me see if I can help you." I said, "Yes you can. Can I please have the name of the manager on duty?" She said, "Can I help you..." I said, "Absolutely. may I please have your name?" The young lady went on to hang up the phone in my face.
So now, there are so Many different things wrong with this experience, it started from the entrance in the store when I was not greeted upon entering. With brick and mortars closing every day I find this experience highly unacceptable, from a customer service rep's level as well as from a consumer level. With all this being said I did attempt to exchange them at the Chicago Ridge location but they did not have the size so in actuality that was more time wasted but the experience there was a bit more pleasant.
So now I do still have the jeans that I wanted to wear this day but at this point I don't want them. My mother has the receipt and the card they were purchased on and happens to work in Chicago Ridge mall. I will have her RETURN them. I just assumed that because I was 5 mins away from the River Oaks location it would be much easier for me to exchange the size. My mother is a frequent shopper with the brand and so is my sister but I will be informing them and others of this very disturbing experience.

I attempted to place an order online and it would not process, after several days attempting and many phone calls to customer service, a supervisor finally informed me that, I was no longer able to make purchases online, but was “welcome to shop at a store.” I questioned the reason and was told if you ever disputed a charge with your credit card company you can no longer make purchases online.
This stems from a September 2017 2 day ship order I placed that never came. After speaking with NY&C customer service several days and UPS, I was given the, "We are investigating," by NY&C and UPS flat out said the package arrived at the local site, but was lost, could not be found, and I needed to file a claim with the sending company (NY&C). After waiting way past the delivery date and getting the runaround from NY&C, I file a dispute with my credit card company. My funds were returned.
NY&C’s supervisor tells me it was still being investigated when, I filed my dispute and it could take up to 30-60 days. Yeah, right hold my money hostage for 30 Plus days, not deliver as promised, and suspend my ability to order online. There are too many other options, I can take my business elsewhere. Maybe that’s why every year multiple NY&C stores are being closed, someone missed customer service 101.

At times, there are many professional, polished dresses that I want and then I can go many months where I feel everything is so cheap and flimsy looking.
There is always a sale online, so everything I purchase is never at full price. I do find that, unfortunately, the numerous coupons I receive in the mail have too many restrictions and will mostly go unused. When it comes to ordering online, I have never been sent the wrong size or wrong product, so I am unable to comment on their return policy or process (thank God!). I do have the RunwayRewards card and feel the rewards program could be vastly improved. I also wished they had an online option of shipping to a local store, as many of the online items are not eligible for in-store pick-up.

I had the worst experience I have ever had in a store (and I used to work in them back in the day) last Sunday and I will never EVER shop here again. I purchased an outfit for my mother in the days leading up to Christmas. I used gift cards that I received from my employer. One ran out so the cashier discarded it, and I put the remainder on another one. Fast forward to after Christmas. My mother died suddenly. She left very little life insurance so we had to pay the funeral expenses out of pocket, so our money was tight. Going through her belongings, I found the outfit with the tags still on it still in the gift bag. My sisters urged me to return it. I kept putting it off but finally decided to get it over with.
At first the cashiers told me I had to take a store credit because I didn't have the receipt. I was willing to do that at that time. But when I mentioned I still had the gift card, they said they could retrieve it which they did. The cashier told me that I had actually used TWO gift cards. I said that was a problem because I didn't have the one that ran out, it was throw away. She said it was no problem. I assumed she put the whole balance on the gift card still in my possession. I left the mall and went to another shopping center to buy ink for my printer which I desperately needed, but had been putting off, figuring I would use the money from the return to offset the cost.
However, when I was ringing up the cashier told me I only had a few dollars on the gift card. Then I looked at the receipt for NY& Co and saw that the cashier had credited both gift cards. How was I supposed to use a credit on a card that I no longer had? I returned to the mall to straighten out the matter. A woman identifying herself as the store manager came to help me.
Long story short, she became rude and confrontational immediately. She said that NY & Company doesn't give credits on gift cards. She behaved as if I had done something wrong, when meanwhile the cashier had made the mistake. She then scolded me for not having the receipt and said I'm only supposed to receive a store credit. I told her my mother died suddenly, the clothes were for her, and I wasn't anticipating ever returning them when I made the purchase. She was all, "Well, I'm sorry, but that's not our problem. NY & Company's policy is without the receipt you get a store credit or if you have the receipt you get the same method of payment. You don't have the receipt and the method of payment is a gift card and we don't credit gift cards so you get a store credit."
I was upset because I had just spent money on the ink thinking I had the refund. I said I didn't want a store credit. She was all like, "Well, that's what you're getting." I asked to speak to the store manager and with a big smirk she said, "I'M the store manager!" I told her I wanted to speak to her boss. She became very flustered and said the woman's name was Stacy but she was not giving me her contact information and I could just get it off the website.
Meanwhile, I had been trying to keep my voice down because I didn't want a scene or to attract attention. She was raising HER voice and everyone in the store was staring at me. I couldn't take anymore of this, so I picked up the receipt from the counter and walked out before I burst into tears. This woman was already clearly getting off from this. Did I mention that the transaction was for 26.80? As I walked out of the store, she screeched, "Ma'am, don't you want your money?" So that everyone in the store turned around and watched me leave. I am never shopping there again. I was a loyal customer (as was my mother)! and stopped there every time I went to the mall. I was a Rewards customer and had a credit card with them. I will never spend another penny there again.

I called customer care and they could not offer me any information other than they reviewed my credit report in June 2017 and on Jan 11, 2018 decided to reduce my limit to $100. I have excellent credit scores. They still have not been able to explain their decision. They are not worth the hassle!

On October 26, 2017, I went to return an item to the store, which was the amount of 15 dollars, in which I chose a blouse that the price was $49.95, but that day there was a New York promotion that the blouse came out With the 30% discount at $35 minus the $15 on my return, I paid by paying $20 with the New York & Company card. The statement tells me otherwise. They recharged the 35 dollars and they never gave me the refund discount, I have the proof of receipt. It was only those 2 transactions that were made that day.
Seeing this I started to check the previous transactions and found many anomalies. On August 8, 2017 I found another transaction of the return and they recharged me the same amount that same day, but that same day I bought a blouse no more and it cost that amount but I used my rewards that I only ended up paying $10.12 and the store I charge the card the full price, I also have the receipt. We have to be careful because we buy and buy and trust the transactions they make but we do not check the balance sheets with the transactions, we keep all our receipts.

I WOULD GIVE A ZERO OUT OF FIVE IF I COULD!!! I was offered to apply a credit card in one of their stores and they said they would give a 15% discount on my first purchase. Obviously, like any new customer I was attracted to the offer and applied for the card and was approved instantly, but I was told that card would be mailed to me. I offered to pay off the amount that I used from the credit card on the SAME DAY but I was not allowed to do it!
Later, I got busy with work and life. I moved several times in 2 months and couldn't receive the card. I couldn't access my account without the card and their software is so messed up. The customer care representatives were so dumb and rude. I called their customer when I was in India and asked them to change my payment date so that I can come back to USA and pay it. But the dumb stupid representative did not record the change of payment and now the customer representative says she cannot do anything about it. I'm very unsatisfied with their credit card system and their rude service.

I've been a longtime customer with NY & Co. for over 20 years. I shopped both in-store and online with more online in my more recent years. We all know that they have different sales daily and therefore have or used to have a price adjustment policy. I just recently purchased 34 items online and the very next day, all 34 items went on sale. I requested to get a price adjustment through their live chat and the online CS representative said that they no longer do that. She said that I have to repurchase each item and return the higher price item in-store when I receive them. Yes, I can do that, but how inconvenient is that? Yet, the stores will still honor price adjustments within 14 days.
I've received a price adjustment before by just calling their 800 number for an online order and now, they will no longer do that because according to their rep, "We run different sales every day, that is why we will not honor to price match. The item maybe even cheaper tomorrow." That is the case at any stores. Items are may be higher or cheaper on any given day or week. That is why price adjustments exist. Why have one policy in-store and a different one online?

I have spend hundred of dollars at NY & Company, but because of their defective product and disrespectful customer service, it no longer matters to me what they sell, because NY & Company has shown they are not worthy of me as a loyal customer. I’m an extremely loyal long time customer of NYCO for decades and also Runway rewards premium member. But I don’t think they will get my business anymore with the kind of ridiculous customer service I’ve been getting over the phone and also obnoxious manager I encountered at NYCO store in Harlem Irving Plaza (HIP) mall of Chicago. This is 6th time in a single year that my online order has been canceled out of unavailability. After taking the pain of browsing through the website and placing an order and an order # being generated, my order got canceled for 6th time saying “out of stock”. NYCO works on the business model of changing their prices every single day and sometimes few times a day but they don’t update their inventory only to disappoint customers.
I’ve seen other reviews here mentioning same disappointment about not being able to order. In my case, it’s even worse. I received 6 cancellations in an year after my order going through. Customer service over the phone is even worse and if you shop at HIP, Chicago then keep in mind the store manager who is extremely rude and ridiculous and behaves like she’s doing charity or some kind of favor and always talks with a tinge of sarcasm. HIP is the only closest store and even that is 30+min drive so I mostly shop online. The few times I went, the store manager came across really rude than her other staff when I went to pick up my online order. I much rather take my business elsewhere to other stores where I get quality goods and treated with respect than stick with NYCO anymore.

I was shopping at Cross County Mall Yonkers NY seeking Black boots. I had shopped online for the past 6 years and decided to do "face-to-face" retailing. I entered shop early afternoon today. Establishment was quite empty. I was not greeted, by retailers. I asked for black boots which I wanted to purchase. I was directed via finger, by what appeared to be a manager to look under shelves on floor where boots were located. After a few minutes of bending, I told an associate, I recently had surgery; difficult to bend. She said, "oh I can help you with that." She proceeded to find my size and bring me to the dressing-room where I could sit to try boots on.
The boots were over-knee styled, there were over 30 pieces of small tissue stuffed in the boot. As she fiddled with hangers, I was struggling with removing tissue, so I could try boots on. I was appalled as she knew I was struggling, and did not offer assistance. There was still a multitude of tissue stuffed in the boot, I was now frustrated, and said to her, "this is impossible" she said, " I know, they do put a lot of tissue in them boots.' I left the store totally disheartened, reminding myself why I shop at home.

I'm a good, long-time customer of NYC&CO, excellent status card-owner and recently purchased 4 pairs of the 7th Avenue Pants, which fit perfectly in the store, as usual. These pants have been the only ones that actually work for me. I usually purchase a few to last me a few years, then I'm good for a while. However, when I got home, took that tags off and wore 3 of them in the same week with confidence that they were just like the ones I had purchased before. I washed them according to the instructions, as always, but noticed that they were not fitting as they did before. They hugged my thighs too tightly. I, then, brought them back to the store to exchange them (not get a refund).
Unbeknownst to me, I was shown by the sales clerk that they were in 3 different types of 7th Avenue pants. I had purchased the seasonal stretch, but after trying on the stretch I realized I needed the stretch pants (which were equivalent to the ones I already had). The clerk stated that because the tags were not on the pants, she could not allow even an exchange. So, I ended up just getting a refund for one pair that I did still have the tag on and unworn. I completely disagree with your exchange policy, because how are customers to know for certain a piece of clothing fits until away from the store and maybe washed at least once? An exchange should minimally be provided to keep happy customers satisfied, accept the items that do not work and re-tag, as is done at competitive stores, such as Macy's, etc. I will be satisfied if I am provided an exchange for the right stretch 7th Avenue pants, not a refund.

She was of no help at all, so I tried to do my order again online and this time gave up with any discount as I really needed the items for an event. I placed my order and did receive 2 items later that week. But one item was missing. I waited a few more days and nothing. So I called customer service and was told "well your item is available, not sure why it hasn't shipped. I need to put in a ticket and see what's going on with it." I said, "no if it's available just ship it please." She said, "no I have to put in a ticket and someone will get back to you with in 12-24 hours."
No one contacted me and so days later. Now I go back online and it is still available, my order not shipped yet and so I called once more. Now I'm told it could be a week before someone gets back with me! "Just ship it, re-order and ship it please." "No we have to go through the process." On Jan 2, 2017, I ordered 1 top, 3 sweaters and 3 matching fleece pants which I had intended to give as gifts. About 1 week later I received a package which contained only the top. Not a problem as I'm sure the rest is coming in another box. A few days later, I receive 1 sweater. Still missing 2 sweaters and all three of the matching pants, I call their customer service. The girl I speak with advised me that she sees that I have 3 shipments arriving. One with a top, one with the sweaters and another with the pants.
A few days later I receive another package. This time with 3 pants. Now missing 2 matching sweaters, I call again to customer service. They advise that the sweaters are no longer available, even though they show as in stock on their website. I explain that the pants are useless to me without the sweaters since I need the sets for gifts. All they can say is "sorry we don't have anymore." Again, I ask why they are selling items online that they don't even have? He cannot answer.
Then I request to return the rest of my order and get a full refund. The customer service tells me that I must drive 20 minutes to a store location, inconvenient to me, to return the items. What? Several days later I receive and email offering a sale and the item listed is the sweaters I'm missing. I try to place the order and it allows me to proceed, showing them in stock. I call customer service immediately to make sure the sweaters are available and they again inform me that they are not available. So let me understand this... You send out a mass email offering these sweaters at a sale price, you show them as in stock, you allow the consumer to purchase them, but you don't have any and they are discontinued??? So what are you going to do, charge everyone who orders and then let them wait for a product that doesn't exist anymore, so they can waste time calling customer service and fighting for a refund???
It took me 30 days to get my refund, I still have pants with no matching tops and now I have to waste an hour of my day to drive to a store to return these items. This is the WORST company, website, and customer service I have ever dealt with. Period. I am disgusted at how invaluable you think my time is. I will never purchase anything from them again. P. S. The first time I washed the top on gently cycle, the stitching fell apart and the fabric frayed.

I have been shopping at New York and Company since it was called Lerner. I went into the store and asked for Black Petite dress pants size 8. She said she would help look but she also stated I could probably use a bigger size!! I told her "No I don't think so." She said they didn't have any left but I found 2 pair in the rack. She said "Ya know we have a stretchy kind that would go right over your belly for hefty woman like you!!!" I couldn't believe she said that. I even said to her "I cant believe you just said that." I told her I weigh 130 pounds and I'm 45 years old. She kind of ignored me. I actually started to tear up. Another customer heard the whole thing and couldn't believe she had said that to me. Also the pants she was trying to show me you know for hefty woman were sweatpants when I had asked for dress pants for work.
Anyway I was so upset I called the corporate office and spoke to a nice man and promised he would have someone call me back. A woman calls back who really had no compassion and asks me for my address and what happened. So I thought they will probably send me an apology letter or something. NOTHING and it's been a month. Even if I was a larger woman nothing ever should be said like that. Teach your managers how to make someone feel good about themselves or you will lose customers. Terrible customer service all the way around.

If they have Doubts about me they can make sure with a Style tactless... The custom he doesn't have any freedom in the store. They have very bad customer service. I don't like the store anymore... Shame of them. New York & Co go to the hell... Ever never go there again.

In October I went to order few clothing items and the computer pop-up said "Can't total the taxes try back later." That happened 4 times. The last time I tried it said "Mismatched cart, can't complete order." So I left it. The following morning, I get 5 confirmations that my orders were placed. They charged my card $600. I called and they said they couldn't stop the orders. They sent me 5 boxes of the same orders. I kept one box and returned all 4. It's now January and I still haven't gotten all my money back. They put 27 returns on my card. Some were $8.00, $11.00 and it still isn't the $478.00 they owe me. I've called and have emailed them and after 27 returns to my card the total amount still not right. This has been the worst nightmare order and return I've ever experienced. Meanwhile, they charged my card $600 and 3 months later I'm still waiting for all of my money.

I went to the store today about 2 pm Friday Jan 6, 2017. My brother's 5 years old son feel tired and sit on one of the low display table where they put a few long pants. There are 2 Mexican ladies work at the time. One of them came to him and started yelling "This table will break and cannot uphold people". She said it in rude manner and mean. My nephew got scared and cried. That Mexican lady not even apologized. She just pretended nothing happened. She can tell my nephew in a nice way. I was standing there and listened to what she said. I used to buy clothing in this store. Since then I won't go there anymore. I bet if someone yelling to her or to her kids this Mexican ** will be so mad. I asked her name. She refused to tell me. The other lady she is Mexican too she just smiled and laughing, doesn't do anything about it. I guess because they are both Mexican (they have to defend each other).
If I were the owner of this store I will fired this rude lady and will suspended the other one. They start talking Mexican and look at us after I asked this rude lady her name... I wish a very bad luck to this rude lady and all her family including the other one who was in the store. They can talk whatever they want in their language about us. This stupid ladies doesn't realize the store cannot pay them without the customers. Go to hell New York & Company. I hope your store will be closed down if you don't fired these 2 stupid rude ladies.

Purchased a coat from New York & Company on Black Friday. I thought that I had bought a large coat but bought a medium coat instead not realizing that I grabbed the wrong size. On 12-10-16, I tried the coat on for the first time but removed the price tag from the coat. I noticed that the coat was feeling a little snugged on me and so I looked inside the coat and saw the size being a Medium. I called the store and informed them of the mishap and they said, that because I removed the price tag from the coat, I cannot return the coat. Mind you, I just tried on the coat, never gotten a chance to wear it at all and I can't return it. Now I am pissed. I am a 1 year NY& Co. credit card holder who has never used my credit card before until Black Friday of this year. Very disappointed in the return policy. Once I pay off my card (I only charged this coat) I am going to cancel my credit card and won't shop there again!

I purchased two pair of pants yet received only one pair of pants because they ran out. The packing slip showed two pair of pants. This has happened twice, and I had to call customer service to get a refund. They need to have the packing slip reflect the correct amount being shipped, and proactively notify and refund customers if they run out. Very poor service. I will never order online again.

I was at the Cumberland Mall store and stood in line for close to an hour. Cashiers kept walking away, chatted endlessly with customers, and were highly inefficient. There were more people working the floor than checking out customers.
