    I used to love shopping at New York and Company, but now I hate having to go the website only. The sizing is weird, there are no reviews on clothing anymore so you can't see any opinions on how pieces fit or feel, the customer service is horrible and I'm pretty sure I'm emailing an AI bot and not a real person. I am missing two items from my recent order and have been getting the run around which leads me to believe the whole speaking to an AI theory. The quality of the clothing is a hit or miss, and I hate some of the styles they have, like where is the class? Who would wear something that has everything hanging out and leaves nothing to the imagination to an office? Idk....I'm just at a loss for words with this store anymore and I think I have made the decision to not shop there anymore.

    I placed an order for several ladies garments on 5/5/24. When the items were received they were not of the expected quality that I expected, the photos online did not properly represent the products, in addition the sizes were not sized to fit so I decided to return some items. I accessed my order online and clicked on Return and received a message that they were final sale and therefore a Return label could not be provided. I sent an email to help@ny&co disputing the fact that none of the 12 items showed as Final Sale and asked for proof that they did.

    It took weeks for a response and I was asked to provide copies of the tags on each item which I did. Several weeks passed and still no response so I sent other emails requesting the Return Label. I received emails explaining their Return policy and advising me to pay better attention to the pricing and return policy when I’m placing an order-the nerve. I then began calling the Customer Service number which goes only to voicemail and left about 10 to 15 messages which were never responded to.

    At this point I disputed the charge with my Credit Card Company. NY &Co responded by asking me to drop the dispute with the Credit Card Company and only if I did this that they will be able to issue a credit. They rejected the dispute anyway and my Credit card was not credited back. I challenged the rejection and sent all my records to prove that they were incorrect. Finally in September my Credit Card Company honored my dispute and credited me back. I received an email from NY&Co advising me that they are pleased to inform me that changes were made to their return policy and how concerned they were about my satisfaction. I still have yet to get a Return label. What a terrible way to conduct business, this is blatant customer mistreat and incompetent customer service practices. I will never order from them again and advise others to do the same.

    I placed an order with New York and Company back in July. I have called several times because New York and Company have not sent the two pair of shoes that I need for my daughter for school up until today. New York and Company have fail to refund the money back to me, but continuously to mislead me And not send the order or refund the money. I notified the Better Business Bureau and they responded to me that New York and Company again has not responded to any of their emails today is August 28, 2024 and New York and Company still have not responded nor sent me my money back.

    I came across this site when I searched 'What happened to NY&Co quality?" I have purchased a ton pieces from NY&Co for years to add to my office wardrobe and every single item I purchased got me a tons of compliments. I still have those items and they still look great and very much in style. In the past couple of years I have struggled finding that same quality and great designs. Items look like leftover pieces, and I can never get anything that looks of good quality. You can probably get better quality and designs from fast fashion sites like Shein.

    In addition to that shipping now takes 2.5 weeks at best compared to the average 5 days in the past years. I feel like the NY&Co of yester-years is now long and gone, it is now a shell of its glorious days. I miss the days of Eva Mendes, Kate Hudson and even Gabrielle Union fashion. I would log onto their site or visits the brick and mortar stores and not leave without purchasing an item. That is no longer the case unfortunately.

    NYC and Company has become an online store of leftovers or things people never wanted nor cared for. This was once the place to shop, not anymore. All I'm doing at this point is paying my CC off. I'm no longer an interested customer.

    I came to this exact website after purchasing from NY&Co and let me tell you I was petrified! So many horror stories on this site. I don’t usually leave reviews but after receiving my complete order, within the quoted delivery window might I add, I was pleasantly surprised! All items accounted for and quality was pretty nice! One skirt I ordered was an odd material but it was listed on the website so no biggie there. I just wanted to leave a positive review because I’d never shopped there and it went very well. I’ll be returning online to shop more.

    I used to shop here for fashionable clothing but something happened some time ago and their clothing line failed. There just wasn’t absolutely a single item that appealed to me anymore. What happened??? What a loss of fun fashion. Sad but real!!!

    This used to be a reputable company with quality merchandise. I have purchased many, many wide-leg pants from NY&C over the past ten years. I have always worn a size 2 in every style. The average length always ran long which I loved being 5'11" tall. Since 2023 quality of fabrics used and craftsmanship have gone WAY down. Sizing is all over the place, no consistency at all! Shipping is expensive and the slowest I've ever experienced. I will NEVER purchase anything from this company again and I certainly recommend you not either. This is NOT the same NY&C! Merchandise is garbage now!!! Poor quality junk!

    I am a long time customer of New York & Company. However, I have become very dissatisfied with the company. My returned items were received by the company on May 16 and to date, I have not received my refund. I have sent several emails and text messages and have only received the generic response that my 'refund is being processed." When the available phone number is called, it goes to voice mail - every time. From searching the Internet, I noticed that many people are encountering the same or similar issues. I am frustrated and will be filing complaints with all possible entities.

    Some years ago, especially when New York & CO was brick & mortar this was one of my favorite places to shop. I still have so many beautiful outfits from the store. Did the buyers change suppliers? Or just what happened? Models are not the same, quality of merchandise has gone to strictly junk. Can't get order in timely manner. The company has went from a really nice place to shop to "Surprise" look what you get now! It's really too bad ... I really miss the old buyers. Wish I could find the stores they buy for now!!

    So far my orders have been accurate and received in a timely manner. My complaint or question is what is going on with the merchandise? Everything is starting to look cheap, almost like clothing you have had in the warehouse forever and just trying to get rid of it. The jeans, lounge and athletic clothing were my absolute favorite and now there pretty much non-existent. Is the company coming back with more high end clothing promoted by high end ladies?

    I've realized that I am unable to make any purchases using the Company's credit card. Despite numerous attempts to reach out, all I receive is a voicemail. In addition, I have decided to never visit their website again. I plan to pay off the remaining balance on the card and then destroy it. The Company is completely useless.

    The worst company to order from. I ordered clothes last month for a vacation and was given a time frame of 5-8 days for the arrival. After several day with no arrival or update. I emailed customer service to cancel the order, because I had only a few days before I would be leaving for vacation and the clothes would not arrive on time. I asked the customer service if I could get a refund, and no response was given. I have gone on vacation and come back home to just find out the order has now been delivered a month later. I will never order from NY&C again. The lack of response and not giving me a refund was so unprofessional. If you need your clothes in a timely manner order from some other company.

    I wish I could give this sham of a company Like many of the other complaints, it appears I won’t get my refund. I sent a return with a tracking number on December 30, 2023. When I didn't receive a refund after a couple of weeks, I reached out to the company multiple times via phone and email. I could never speak to a representative via phone, which I still think is odd, and I received multiple conflicting emails from their customer service. One email told me to allow FORTY days to receive my refund, which I waited. Another told me that they'd received a dispute from my credit card company, several weeks before I disputed the charge (which indicates to me that the issues are widespread).

    Another told me to allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on my card. It has now been over 5 months and I have not received my refund. I returned the merchandise to the post office, following all of the prescribed procedures. The package was never returned to me, even though I provided a return address in case there were any issues. I did everything I was supposed to do and have gone to great lengths to try to get my $250 back. They are obviously just collecting money with no intention of even keeping up the appearance of being a legitimate business.

    I placed an order and never received goods. I tried to contact them 15 times no response. I put a dispute on my credit card and they waited until the last day to respond stating I got my items. No refund was issued as a result and I’m out 200 bucks for something I never received. Do not order from them.

    And here I thought I hit the jackpot of great deals, especially since I loved NY&Co way back when, but I knew something was up when the charge on my card said S3 Holdings as the merchant and the purchase said Xray footwear. I immediately called Amex and started a fraud dispute to get my money back. So disappointed. Just wish I could give them ZERO stars.

    I placed an order on Sunday 5/26/2024. My order was never shipped. I can not reach anyone in customer service. It just says they are busy and goes to a voicemail. I have also emailed and nothing. I am requesting a refund as it has been several weeks and the order was never sent. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company in a few days if I do not see a refund issued to me. I believe customer service and the email are non functional. They are just taking people's money. They are probably going out of business. I will not ever purchase again from here.

    My story is very similar to everyone’s. I placed a very large order ($500+) on 5/23. I also paid for expedited shipping. I have yet to receive my order. I’ve tried calling, but only getting a voicemail. I’ve sent several emails with no reply back. I’ve shopped with them for years. I have not made any purchases with them since 2022 and did not realize that things had changed. I’m going to give them another week before I dispute the charges. However, I am extremely disappointed that continue to allow people to complete orders, but aren’t fulfilling them.

    I placed an order on 5/18/24 and it's now 6/6/24 and as of yet I still haven't received my package the two pairs of jeans that I purchased, and they never did send me an order email confirmation but they removed my money from off of my bank card immediately after I placed and submitted my order online. I've made numerous of attempts calling customer's service but no one ever answers the phone and I've sent several emails to them concerning this issue and I've even sent them a text message and no one replied back, this company is very unprofessional and off beat and doesn't appreciate loyal long time customers or anyone else for that matter, this is a prime example for what I'm going through with them, all I want now from them is to just fully refund me and I'll never do business with this low classed pathetic place again.

    I placed order # ** for a blouse in early January 2024, which I received on January 30th. It was the smallest size available, but was still quite large. I returned the blouse the same day and was notified by NYCO it had been received on February 12th. Any inquiries I have made result in an email informing me their return processing is backlogged (see email screenshot below). Almost four months later, there is still no initiation of a return.

    I purchased a skirt from New York & Company. They deliver my package. When I open it, my skirt wasn’t in it. I called them to ask them why they didn’t send me my skirt. They said that I owed them, I said what does that have to do with my purchase that I pay for. The person that I talk to was so unprofessional and rude and I’ve been buying things from New York & Company for years and never experienced this type of behavior. I was so disappointed, even if I owe you $1 million you don’t treat Customer like that, they spitefully didn’t send my skirt because I owe them and the skirt is only $22, wow.

    New York & Co. They Failed To Send Part of my order in April 2014. Called customer service, but can't get through. The Call Is Transferred To A Medical Alert Selling Option. Called Several Times; However, Unable To Reach Anyone. I don't recommend shopping at New York & Co. It has become very unreliable.

    I bought and ultimately returned $600+ items in February, as the quality and fit wasn’t to my expectations. I still have not received my refund. I’ve emailed customer service numerous times. They sent me a strange link asking for ACH information and I’m not putting my bank info into a strange unsecured link. I paid Via credit card. They can mail me a check if they can’t process the CC return, I’m not filling out ACH form. I received an email confirmation that my return arrived the the return center back in Feb. I guess I didn’t create an account when I placed my order so I don’t have a login, but when I search the order number, it says return in process. I’m so frustrated and I don’t want to have to file a claim with my Cc but I guess that’s next.

    Placed an order at NY&co and did not get shipping details at all. I had to email them since they don’t have a number to call and responded that my package had been shipped without details of a tracking number or anything. This took about two weeks and then I received my package with missing items and an item I did not even order. I emailed them several times regarding this and have yet to receive a response. Save yourself the trouble and don’t buy from here.

    New York and Company is a joke. Why have a customer service number and don’t answer calls, good luck if you have any questions. It’s like nobody is working for this company. You just take people money and don’t do your goddamn job. If you send an email to the customer service email address you don’t get no response. At this point it’s giving me scam! do better or go out of business. You have a useless customer service number and a useless customer service email address. Very selfish to customers.     I feel scammed by New York and Company, I thought this was a reputable company. My last order from New York and Company was in 2022, I ordered constantly and never experienced any issues. I loved the products and overall customer service. I decided to shop around in their website for a dress for a Baptism. I found the perfect dress and ordered it as fast as I could being that the occasion was about less than 2 weeks away. The dress was listed under NEW ARRIVAL yet I thought it was odd that it gave me a msg that dress could not be returned. I should have known better.

    I paid extra for expedited shipping. The dress did not arrive on time and I got an all white, horrible cotton dress that was under the 70%off rack. I was very disappointed. I've tried calling, emailing the company and no response. I feel scammed, ghosted and just plain taken advantage of. Don't be fooled, the website looks alluring. Very up to date in fashion and style. A week later after receiving still no call back, no return email, no one answers customer service. Is this what we've come to?? A reputable fashion store scamming customers?

    I am very disappointed with NY&Co. I am a long time customer and a NY&Co. credit card owner but after my last experience I will no longer be ordering from them and once I pay off the balance I will cut up my card. Like many other reviews I’ve read, I placed an order received it late and when I got it 2 items were missing and 1 item was not what I ordered. I have made multiple attempts to speak to someone in customer service - an automated message states I am calling outside of business hours (which I wasn’t because I was able to reach someone on the credit card line who unfortunately could not help me with my order) and then it asked to leave a message. I did.

    A week later I am still waiting for a return call. I have sent an email and text and no response. Also… this time my order did not come with a return label - how coincidental. I have never had an issue with NY&Co. but I am so upset with the fact that I am now stuck with paying for items I did nt receive and one item I did not order - and two sizes too small for me - so it is useless to me also. DO NOT GET SCAMMED. DON'T ORDER FROM NY&CO.

    I hate that I didn't read any reviews before purchasing my Blazer on 3/14/2024 because as of today I have not rec'd it! I have emailed and called several times, only to get an email back saying they will forward to the team. I usually look at reviews before purchasing anything but I have shopped at NY&CO brick and mortar stores for years, never thought I would be a victim of Fraud with them. ***DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.**

    I placed the order on 4/22/24, standard delivery and it didn’t arrive until 5/13/24. I ordered these items for an event and the didn’t even arrive in time. When I go to return them, it says that all the items are final sale items. I don’t need any of it and don’t feel like I should be forced to keep and pay for items that took almost a month to receive. I will be cancelling my card with NY&CO and will NEVER place an order with this company again! I also will leave this review on every platform I can!!

    So awful to have read these reviews after the fact…I too have fallen victim to NY&Co’s malpractices. Same story different customer unfortunately…Purchased items back in January, returned item back in January, received email of receipt, received another email stating should take up to 41 days to process (?), then never heard from again after numerous email requests and phone messages left. How is this company still doing business?
