    They are a scam!!! I purchased a lot of items; they claim they had everything within 2 plastic bags. When I received the bags it had a slice in it like a box cut and the seal was open. I only received 5 items out of 13… I contacted them and it has been over 3 weeks. They claim they are waiting for the delivery service to refund me.. I told them I didn’t purchase from the delivery people I purchased from them. I also told them about the packaging; why wasn’t it in a box for all those items? I will never purchase anything from this company again. I paid for all these items and didn’t receive my products.

    I have been unable to use the NYC card for form of payment on the website for literally two whole years now. I last was able to make a purchase October 2023. I am surprised my card hasn't closed on me. I have tried over and over and over to use this card. I click on checkout, would like to use NYC card for form of payment, it says processing, then an instant error saying "There was an issue processing your payment. Try again or use a different payment method." Every. Single. Time. I have emailed them, because that is the only way you can even get ahold of someone and they cannot help.

    I am unable to even put my card info in. It is not my card. It's the site. I talked to the credit card issuer twice and it's not my card. I don't even get to the point of putting my card number in before the error happens. This has been going on ever since they update the payment system. Anyone else having an issue with this? How are you people ordering?? I guess I will have to ding my credit score and close this card because it is basically and completely unusable and their clothing is ugly now anyway.

    Spam!! Do Not purchase from this store. The clothes are horribly made and does not represent NYCOMPANY from previous years. Something has changed. It's not the same store but same name perhaps. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO RETURN. So once you receive your horribly made item that won't fit, there is nothing you can do about it. They are full of tricks, if you don't believe me, pretend that you want to return or exchange something and learn first hand. They are thieves. And the product now is horrible. Should be reported

    The sizing is way off. I wear a 14, I purchased XL & XXL pants, all was very snug in the waist. Some XXL was falling off of me. The XL top could barely get it on. Good Fabric but no consistency with sizing.

    I purchased 2 black dresses for myself and sister, the same model M and L, it wasn’t any Ivory color option or photos when I bought it. They sent me another color dress (Ivory). I contacted them and they claimed that when you bought it you selected Ivory!?!? While this option wasn’t available or even photo of it. She says final sale and we don’t have return policy, you bought Ivory!?? If it isn’t taking advantage of final sale and misdirected a client to sell low demand color dress what it is?

    This company’s return policy is hidden on site. It is a Final Sale policy. Will not shop there again, instore or online. Makes no sense, There is no way to try clothing on. Ordered 4 things, only needed to return one. Could have had a long time customer, but instead will tell everyone I know “Do not shop with them.”

    I am a long time customer of this company, and have never had any issues. However, I recently ordered and received defective pieces. I emailed to solicit an exchange or refund. They told me all sales are final, and they've recently included that all sales final tag online on all merchandise. However, this can't be true for defective pieces. I also noticed that the company is using a third party vendor instead of their namesake for the clothing, which is unusual. Instead of providing a refund or sending better fitting items. They are refusing to do so and attempting to steal my money. I can't even resale the items due to the defects. So, I am out of $100, while they get to walk away. This is committing fraud by not having a phone number for customers to call, not having a consistent email response time.

    The phone number provided goes to a Walmart gift card. I've asked to speak to someone several times to no avail. I have spent too much money with company in the past to be mistreated and stolen from in this manner. Upon a recent search, I've found that this has become the new practice per all of the similar complaints that are online. They also inflate prices to make discounts appear larger, mislead customers about the value of the items when using a cheap 3 rd party vendor (poor quality than before), poor customer service, implementing a final sale policy to remove their responsibility for customer satisfaction and quality. I am requesting my money back immediately!

    It is so hard to do a return, you can't do it online. It takes you from one site to another so I finally gave up. I just wanted to do an exchange of sizes. There is no 800 number to call and speak to anyone and you just can not do it. So time consuming. I will NEVER purchase something online from them. It seems like you are stuck with their product so there is no RETURNS. Too bad. I like it when you could actually could go to the store and try things on before you were stuck with it. I will block them so I don't get 100 emails from them a day.

    I ordered 2 blazers and I received 1 blazer and a pair of leggings. Customer service case completely blown me off. If I could go back in time. How is this website and this company still operating? I understand they are bankrupt but come on now. I reported them to the BBB, I doubt anything will come of it.

    I purchased some items in October of 2024. I returned them the next week because they weren’t what I expected. I still have not received my refund 5 months later. They have said they were sending it but nothing. They do not even have a customer service line to call. I also received a bounce back that their email inbox was full. Do not buy from them!

    New York & Company is a scam. They delivered the wrong pants to me. They charged me $35, and they said they were going to refund me $26. They received my order, they knew it was their fault, but they never answer to my emails. I have sent maybe 20-25 follow up emails with no response. They DON'T CARE, because they are closing. I checked to see if they received my order, and they did. They received the incorrect order at their facility and never delivered the correct pants nor did they refund me the $26 or the $35. It never hit the bank. I need to know how to file a complaint.

    A long time shopper of NY&CO, and I mistakenly ordered the wrong size. Yes, this was my fault but I only wanted to exchange for the correct size. Of course, they would not let me because all sales are final. I will NEVER order from this company again!

    If I could give ZERO stars I would but could not submit my review without clicking something. I agree with all the negative reviews. I ordered two pairs of Palazzo pants both size medium. One of the pants has a medium tag but the waist was a 28, clearly an XS or Small and because it was all sales are final I can’t return them. Needless to say, I am not happy and wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I was a long-time shopper of New York & Company and use to get all my work clothes from there but have to admit I had not bought anything from them in a while until recently and I am truly disappointed and regret it. Never again will they get any of my money.

    I will never shop with this company again. They sent me the wrong size pants in September 2024. After arguing with them about a no-return policy, they agreed to accept them back and refund me plus the return shipping. They received them back in October 2024 and have since ignored my emails about issuing a refund. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and they ignored that inquiry too. What a disappointment- I used to buy all my work clothes from them. Never again.

    I’m very upset. As I am writing this review I purchased a size small magenta dress on Jan 2025 and I received a 2X yellow cropped jacket. I have tried calling to get my item or my money back, but have not been able to speak with anyone. I have also sent 4 emails and none of them have been answered. I truly believe whoever owns the company now is taking people’s money. I used to shop here all the time and it was great. It’s very sad that this is happening to so many customers nowadays.

    DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. I ordered over $100 worth of items for the holidays. I received NOTHING of what I ordered. What I did get was a dress that I didn't order in a size that neither me or my family even is. I contacted by email the same day I got the package along with the NY & CO cc company to say that I didnt get an items, sent multiple pictures MULTIPLE times, just to get denied by the cc company because NY & CO showed a picture of A PACKAGE on my stoop. When I explained multiple times it was a dress and nothing else of what I ordered. There is no way a 4 inch by 6 inch package and maybe a width of an half in is going to hold multiple sweaters and pants. So I am out the money and their cc company also are scam artists and can't see behind all the scamming they are doing.

    I was a huge fan of Ny & Company. All my work clothes were from there. In the past few years I stopped purchasing from them due to it’s impossible to return items. I recently purchase 8 dresses. Wanted to return 4 due to size. When I went to the website to retrieve a return label it stated all items were unable to be returned. It did not state during purchase unable to return. I will never purchase again from them. How can you purchase its and you're unable to return. There was one time I was make to return however the cost they charged on returning the item was more then I purchased it for. Ridiculous.

    This store used to be a go-to for me and work clothes, however, ever since they closed down the physical stores it’s been a nightmare. For starters, nothing is EVER in stock, they no longer show ratings/reviews for their items online and the shipping process is horrible. It took over 7 days to even receive tracking progress or even show that the items had been fulfilled. The best part was when the items arrived, they were made of POOR quality and received from cheap vendors. Their customer service, quality and overall style choices has depleted over the recent years. I will no longer purchase from New York & Company after being a longtime customer. They honestly need to shut down for good.

    My frustration is high w/ this order as NY & Co only ships UPS but allows you to check out w/ a PO box which can’t be delivered to. There were no shipping updates 7 days after ordering, I was unable to track, or even see if my order was filled. I sent an email & got a standard apology then passed off to a different dept who never got in touch.

    Finally after almost 2 weeks a tracking number appeared but it also did the order had been returned due to a PO box being used. For reference I receive all packages at the PO & NY & Co is the only time I’ve ever had an issue. Unable to change address due to “restriction on senders side” and unable to contact customer service. Credit card has been charged but no product received. Guess it’s time to call card’s customer service - no refund + no product = theft.

    New York and Company was my store. I purchased almost all of my work clothes from them. All of their stuff is NOT RETURNABLE AND FINAL SALE. Their clothes are cheaply made and sizing is completely off. I won't be ordering from them any longer. It's a shame, because I loved their clothes.

    I used to love New York and Company when they were in the malls across America. Since they became strictly online the quality of clothing and customer service has cheapened. The clothes are not the same size, style, or quality. The customer service is nonexistent. I spent around $86 on a recent purchase that I didn’t receive until 4 weeks later (which means that you can’t return or exchange items because it’s past the refund period). Instantly after trying on the pants I broke out in a rash and hives. The jacket was too big. The AI response said that it was too late to return because it was beyond the return period.

    I emailed customer service and didn’t hear anything back. I even called the credit card number and any number attached to the company with no luck. I returned the items to the original address ($20 or so dollars) and no refund, exchange, response or resolution. So I spent over $100 on items that I don’t have, am getting ghosted by the non existent customer service, and am pretty frustrated about the whole situation. They should just disappear in oblivion. Just like everyone else on this thread I have been scammed, fraud occurred, and I am very frustrated and angry with the lack of support, quality, and service.

    First I was lied to telling me my items were not returnable. I never buy mail order that is not returnable. Finally they allowed me to return the items. Now I’m not getting my refund. They keep telling me they are researching it or be patient as they have lots of returns. I bought a fair amount from them but I’m done. I’m also notifying the BBB.

    I used to buy a lot from them and they used to be my favorite clothing store, but now, not only has the customer service decline terribly, also the quality of the clothes is terrible. This is not the same New York & Company from 4 years ago. Slowly the quality has been getting worse and worse and like I said, the customer service is non existent. I purchased a big order and 1 item was missing. I am still waiting for that refund. Terrible, stay away from them.

    I would give zero stars if that was an option. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM NEW YORK AND COMPANY! I have ordered from this company for years and have always been satisfied. The last time I ordered 80.00 dollars worth of yoga pants. When I finally got them they were not the same quality or fit as before. I sent them back. Weeks passed before I heard anything. They refunded me 3.00 and kept the rest of my hard earned money. They stopped responding to my emails. This company should be shut down for good!! They are thieves and they take advantage of their customers.

    Very dissatisfied with purchase. Aside from the "final sale/no return" policy, it's a shame that the sizes are way off, in addition to the poor quality. Do yourself a favor, save your money and don't waste your time.

    I have been buying here for the last few months and is is always a 50/50 chance that the items will fit right (sizes are way OFF!) and down with very poor quality. Unfortunately, they hide their unethical business practices under the “all sales are final”. Please BE aware and do not purchase from them!

    I have gotten many items from NY & Co, but I’ve also received some items that are simply junk - the material is reminiscent of thick polyester from the 1960s or 1970s. That’s not my biggest complaint… My complaint is that said materials fade into one another when washed on gentle in cold water (as the instructions state to do). The last item I purchased was black and white - very cute! Unfortunately when I washed it, there is like a fading into the white of the black - which looks blue. Very odd. Also returning the item is not easy because it is sub par quality doesn’t work because there is no option to do so & they charge $10 to return the items. I think I’m done with them as I don’t have money to waste.

    I purchased clothes from NY&Co online in November 2023. I got them in December and returned after a week because they were ill-fitting. They confirmed the receipt of my return January 11, 2024. As of October 11, 2024, I have yet to receive my refund. They have ignored emails for months, and continue to give me the "we are looking into it" response when they do reply. I was scammed along with many others and would never trust this company with my money again.

    I ordered 7 pairs of shoes and only received one pair. I contacted NY& CO many times. They claimed that the package was delivered. I told them it was but with only one pair. They haven’t got back to me nor delivered the rest of the items and didn’t give me any refund.
