    Just terrible customer service and they don’t care at all if you get what you need. Ever since they went to the new Sophora they have gone to pot. They run all discounts thru the Visa card and in reality it’s not Kohls so they don’t care.

    I was shopping at the Marlton, New Jersey Kohl’s and I have to tell you every piece of merchandise I picked up did not have a price on it. They got rid of the price check machines in the aisles and the store manager told me you just have to go up to the checkout and they’ll scan it for you but what if you didn’t have anything else to check out you mean to tell me you’d be standing there forever in line just to get a price and you find out that you don’t want it. Yeah I’m done with Kohl's. I’ve been done for a while, but I went there today just to return boots on Amazon that I bought. Yeah they need to keep those scanners how they had them at such an inconvenience to customers, especially when there’s no price on anything.

    Don’t even bother calling. I’ve called customer service 4 times, all with different issues, and I never get any kind of resolution. They’re also very rude about it. I called once and told them I didn’t get the correct refund amount back on a return and they told me not to set my expectations high, I wouldn’t be getting the money back, but they wouldn’t get me a reason why. All I got was that’s how it is. Sometimes you don’t get the refund you’re expecting. I would give zero stars if that was an option.

    The worst customer service, online ordering and all around company I have ever had to deal with. Zero help from anyone involved (love to hang up/cut you off). Days of arguing and zero results. They have zero problems taking your money but 7 to 14 days to return. Horrible to deal with.

    Ordered snowpants & boots on-line for grandkids. After a few days, got notification & tracking that the order was coming the next day. Now it's at least 4 days later, still no package and tracking says "Insufficient time to complete delivery". What the heck does that mean?? I went on Customer Service site and all it does is find that order THAT STILL HASN'T BEEN DELIVERED YET BUT THEY SURE CHARGED ME RIGHT AWAY!!!

    I ordered Christmas gifts for family and some foster kids that I am sponsoring for Christmas during the Cyber Monday sale. Kohl's split the order into 6 different boxes. The first box arrived today. In the box was a very, heavy cast-iron pot with 2 toys and a tween nail care set. The nail care set was crushed with its contents all over the bottom of the shipping box. Who packs a heavy item with fragile ones without putting the fragile ones in a separate box? I called Kohl's. The phone tree is ridiculous to get to a real person. The online chat option wasn't working either. I was told, "you can go to the store IF they have one and exchange it (minimum of a 3 hours roundtrip drive to the nearest store in good weather and it is currently a blizzard so it would be 6 or more hours of traveling) or we can process a replacement but if you don't wait for the rest of the order we cannot help you with any other damaged items."

    I was told the rest of the order could take until Christmas to arrive. These are Christmas gifts with some of the items needing to be mailed from my end, which means there won't be enough time for them to make it for Christmas. This is NOT customer service! I paid for undamaged items, and I should not have to wait for the other 5 boxes to arrive to file a complaint for the damaged item(s). Their Kohl's Capitol One credit card also will NOT warranty items like a normal credit card does, so avoid this as well. Definitely, NOT a good experience, and I shudder at what I'll find with the rest of the order, since there is another cast-iron pan and fragile toys and jewelry still in transit. I will NOT be able to get a replacement in time to mail it for it to arrive for Christmas. The closest store is over 80 miles from my home! Gas is $3.49/gallon.

    I get a maximum of 20 mph in good weather and far less when the top speed is 25-25 mph. So I will have to miss a day of work to return the item to the store (if they have one in stock, which may not be the case, the representative said there was only one left at that store) and pay for a tank of gas and risk my life on the treacherous roads, or NOT have a present for the tween foster child. For shame KOHL'S!!!! Do better!!!!!

    My Kohl's card is already shredded. Just the fact that they don't have a complaint phone or email shows they don't give a sh*t. Walmart does way better. Long live Amazon. Never again. No wonder their stock is tanking!

    I placed an order online using my Kohl’s credit card. I’ve been a loyal Kohl’s customer for years. I ordered two gifts for my mom and brother, and I received an email confirming they had shipped—but to the wrong address. I reached out through the online chat and spoke with a representative named Victoria, who was not helpful and essentially told me there was nothing that could be done. Now, it appears that someone else may receive over $200 worth of gifts, while I’m left without my order and possibly without a refund. I’m extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled and with the lack of support provided to a long-time customer.

    I ordered online at kohls.com for Black Friday sales. They had great sales except when my order was processed I did not receive proper prices. I called several numbers and no one couldn’t fix the problem or have access to my account. Someone gave me corporate number and they could not help me. Suggested I return items and reorder which was not helpful at all. I went to store and they said they didn’t have access to my account. There is no one accountable for their business.

    Placed an order on 11/28/25 with an estimated delivery date no later than 12/5/25. A UPS shipping label was created the same day; however, the package was not picked up until 12/3/25. The estimated delivery date is now 12/11/25. I contacted customer service about the unacceptable delay and got the brush off. No offer of a discount - no offer to intercept the package or upgrade the delivery speed. They have lost a customer over a few dollars, and cost themselves more in shipping and return fees. "Retail returns are projected to cost retailers approximately $849.9 billion in 2025." When customer service acts like this, that's no surprise! It's no surprise that Kohl's is being beaten so badly by Amazon and Walmart.

    I have gotten two separate notifications that items I ordered almost a week ago are sold out. This is my first time experiencing this with Kohl’s so I am very disappointed. I feel like I really wasted a lot of quality time shopping online with them. Why am I allowed to purchase items that they do not have sufficient quantities of? Why are they accepting my payment? Why is it taking them so long to notify me? I thought I was done with my Christmas shopping. Now I have to look for new items and the Black Friday sales are finished and a lot of things are picked over. Thank you Kohl’s…You suck. My time is much more valuable than any savings Kohl’s can offer me. I’ll skip this circus next year.

    HORRIBLE!!!! Was shopping on Cyber Monday for deals. I came across good ones. So as I’m browsing at the top of the app, it tells you how many hours you have left to place your order. So around 12:55 a.m. I decided to place my order in the amount of 372. And as my order was processing the amount that I was paying had doubled almost by $300 more. So now my order goes from being $372 to $611 which means that it went through on my credit card twice. And everyone knows if a credit card company thinks that it’s fraudulent on your card it won’t let nothing continue. Which I don’t blame them because it was processing one time for 372 and then in 30 seconds to a minute later it was processing for $611.

    In the midst of all of this, I was taking screenshots from off my phone each time that the price on my order amount changed. A total of three different times. It went from $372 to $611 then $595. So I have screenshots of three different amounts of the order total changing. And being I couldn’t call Kohl’s customer service so I waited until this morning at 8:30 to call customer service to speak to someone about my issues that I was having with placing my order. The first agent that I was on the phone with did not understand anything that I was asking him and I was on the phone with him for 50 min. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He put me on hold and came back and said that it wasn’t one available to talk to me. Then he said can he explain to me again and I said sure. He kept on trying to explain that a pair of $20 pants for my daughter was the Change in the amount and like I told him that was not possible so I asked to speak to a supervisor again.

    This time I got supervisor Joanne #**. She said that she was unable to assist me at all, and that it was in the policy that she could not assist helping me fix the issue or trying to at least give me credit for the glitch that was in the system. And I was on the phone a total time with her for over 20 min. Total time hour and 16 min trying to get a issue resolved so I called back and I spoke to another agent. Name was Dwayne #** and he tried to help, but it really wasn’t no help. I asked for corporate number on both occasions. Both of them told me that they don’t have that number. I asked how was I able to do a review? He told me to go on Kohls.com. I wasn’t able to go on kohls.com to leave a review or a complaint.

    I had a very disappointing experience at Bergen Town Center Kohl’s location (Store number 1588) during a simple return. I came in with items I had purchased just last week, along with my receipt, but the store manager, Elmer, treated me with unnecessary disrespect throughout the process. Instead of helping resolve the issue, he was rude and unprofessional. I ran into the same issue last week and another store manager was able to help me override the return and I didn't have any issue. Elmer purposely gave me hard time.

    I eventually had to call Kohl’s corporate headquarters from inside the store just to complete a basic return that should have taken a few minutes. Only after corporate intervened was the return finally processed. The corporate headquarters told me I should be able to return even if I returned 100 times previously. I’ve shopped at Kohl’s for years, but this interaction with the manager made the visit extremely stressful and unpleasant. I hope the store addresses this so other customers don’t have to go through a similar experience. I will NOT be doing any of the holiday shopping from you unless you resolve this issue.

    Today, my husband and I went shopping at Store 0549 with our 30% discount coupon good November 10-22. I saw absolutely no restrictions on this particular discount and read the entire postcard mailing carefully. Found what we wanted and proceeded to checkout. I'm a long time Kohl's customer so showed my rewards card and my Kohl's card. Then got a shock -- the clerk refused to give us the discount stating that it was good only on some things and our purchased items were not included. Thought seriously about leaving the items right there and taking our business elsewhere.

    In the end my husband decided such a move would yield little if any benefit so we paid and left. As a statement of what I actually felt by this refusal (yes she would call the manager for us), I did not use my Kohl's Card but another charge card that Kohl's likely will lose a bit more $ over this purchase. In all likelihood this was the last time that I will shop Kohl's and I will be sure to share with my friends that your mailed coupons are not always honored when they should be.

    I purchased my items on-line within the coupon time frame and didn't receive the 40 percent discount that I was promised on the email from Kohl's. I called the store and got the run around about the coupon being expired today. I told them I have a stamped receipt saying the time and it was before expiring. They could not go back and refund my card and were making excuses and wasting my time of 45 minutes on the phone. They send coupons but don't honor them. They already debited my credit card and the employee on the phone said, "Just don't pick up your items at the store and you will get a refund to your credit card within 2 weeks." I will not shop there in the future because of this. If I could rate my experience zero stars, I would.

    Purchased 22 items online. I am older and standing or walking for long times aggravates my back and legs which is why I chose online. Order ready confirmation instructs to pick up at customer service desk. Guess what, I was told there is no more service desk and was told I would have to wait in a HUGE line. I get that they are busy with the sales this time of year but online orders I thought avoided this problem. Wrong. I guess I'll just go back in the morning when they open, but it's hard to believe that Walmart Target and even Kroger do better.

    I’ve been a loyal customer at Kohl's for over 10 years. I’ve had a Kohl's charge a good portion of that time. In March they switch cards over to a chip. I was sent a new card with my name on it. My dad is the main cardholder and he has a card with his name on it. Since March I’ve spent about $1500 on my card. Due to back to school clothes shopping for 4 kids. During these purchases I’ve made on my app. My app would say I’m getting the rewards points but once the 1st of the month would come around they would disappear. I’ve reached out to Kohl's via chat on the app and I’ve called. After multiple attempts I was told the rewards was transferred to another account.

    Every person I spoke with just apologized and refused to help me. Couldn’t explain why my points were being sent to another account when all purchases were made in my name on my app. I never had an issue until they charged their credit cards. Since I’ve reached out to get help multiple times and never got anything but rude customer service and unhelpful I’ve choose to no longer shop at Kohl's and spread the word of how much of a disappointment they is.

    If I could leave zero stars I would - Several months ago I was denied a return even with my receipt! They are using some third party company to handle returns even in their stores — I was so upset that I stopped shopping Kohl's. So yesterday I decided to purchase a shirt that I wanted online to pick up in store. Long story short, the shirt did not fit and of course tried to return it but was denied the return again with my receipt! Now I am stuck with a shirt that I can’t wear!     I bought a suit and the sewing was off on a jacket I got so I go to exchange it but of course I can't. As they no longer have my size. As I'm there to return this item the clerk forces me into a credit card I don't even want! Then tell me I'll get 40% off my next purchase well guess what? That's not a fact. I did not even use my card but now I can't get 40% off. So what was the point of getting a card I did not even want this is bullshit and now I can't even cancel the card. I'm pissed off.

    Kohl's associate was handed a receipt for a $27 dress with an image and a barcode and an order number but all they did was refund me a fraction of the price for the wrong item. A T-shirt and their clothes are so cheaply made. I’ll never go back.

    I purchased two pairs of Levi’s jeans online. I needed to exchange the items for a different size. Kohl's online refused to exchange the items at the original price purchased. Their solution was for me to reorder the items at $11.34 more per item. I am a frequent online shopper and have never encountered this with and other department store. ex: Macy’s or Nordstrom. I have had a Kohl’s charge and have been a customer for over 20 years. I was on hold waiting for a supervisor for 38 minutes. Their poor customer services shows me they do not value loyal customers. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Extremely disappointed!

    I've been a customer for years. Recently, I received a promotional gift of $15 Kohl's cash. I was excited. I ordered a fleece blanket for 14.99 $. I received an email from them saying the blanket was sold out. Then I received another email saying I only get back 5 $. I called them and asked why they took away 10 $. They didn't give me an answer to why they took away 10 $. She says, "I'll give you 5 $." I told her they gave me back 5 $ already. I told her it's not fair to take away 10 $ cause they didn't have the blanket in stock. No reason why. I'll NEVER shop at Kohl's again. Don't shop there. They are a rip-off. All those years I spent so much money there and online. Never again.

    Kohl’s customer service is abominable! Kohl's.com is horrible. They use overseas people for Customer Service who you can’t even understand and who don’t help you at all. I tried to use a gift card that I bought for Kohl's for $25 at Kohl’s.com. The system will not let me use it. I entered it correctly three times and it said it was kicking me out. So the next day I called, and Customer Service was overseas. I even spoke to a manager, and neither one was able to help me, and they told me I would have to wait 30 days to get a new gift card. They won’t honor my gift card.

    To top it off, I had a 40% off coupon that expired after I tried to order my order and they’re giving me a hard time about that too. So then I called the number on the back of the gift card and that guy was useless as well. They keep telling me I have $25 available on my Kohl’s gift card, but they won’t let me use it and they won’t give me a new gift card, so I am done with the stupid store. I am going to close my credit card account and I am never gonna ever shop Kohl’s ever ever ever again! They are the worst! And their customer service is non-existent!

    Complaint: On September 18, 2025, at your Delaware, OH (Sunbury Rd) store, the associate at checkout asked me to do the customer survey on my phone. Instead of letting me complete it, they took my phone, opened the survey in Chrome, and filled it out themselves with all 5-star ratings. This felt inappropriate and misleading, as it prevented me from giving my own honest feedback. I believe customer surveys should reflect the customer's actual experience and not the salespersons. The salesperson's actions were manipulative and unethical to say to least.

    I recently went into the store and was only doing an Amazon return and was immediately greeted by Valerie, she was so warm and kind and handed me a Kolhl's cash. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to shop that day, while speaking with her, I was then greeted by Anika, that girl needs a raise. While speaking with her, I observed her greeting everyone walking in and out of the store with so much enthusiasm and a huge smile. When I was leaving the store, I was then greeting again by Anika, who made me feel like I was the only person in that store that day. Thank you, Valerie and Anika, for making my day! ❤️❤️

    I recently visited the Kohl's in Conway Arkansas. I purchased a pair of shoes. Got home to realize I had two right foot shoes. I called and spoke with a very nice person named Craig. I asked him if they could maybe find my left shoe and he said he would look so he took my phone number and within 5 minutes I received a call from him they found it. I just want you to know that Craig has excellent customer service which is not found everywhere. I will return to this location because of his kindness. Thank you.

    I use to be a customer who enjoyed going to Kohl’s all the time. As the years went on I began to like them less and less. Now I don’t even bother shopping at them anymore. From bad customer service, to workers profiling Middle Eastern women in harassment, to quality drop in clothing, manufacturers tailoring their clothing to the large curvy side of society, from having repeated issues with online returns... No, I’m just done. I use to shop at Kohl’s because they use to be slightly cheaper than the malls now it seems to be about par and I’ll just go back to the malls for my clothing.

    Kohl’s use to have good quality clothing but manufactures have been thinning down their material and fabrics. I started having fraying and holes forming on clothing that I just bought. These are the types of wear and tear holes you’d see appear on your clothing after a year or so of wearing. Not after 6 washes. Then the manufactures started tailoring their clothing towards the heftier side of society and now even their “normal” sized clothing is plus sized. It is not okay to have your clothing fall apart after the 10th wash. That’s barely 2-3 months of owning the article of clothing before it begins to unravel.

    The cashiers usually have good customer service but that’s because they have to. The rest of the staff can be hit or miss. Usually miss. In 2024 I saw a security guard profile harass a ** woman just shopping casually like the rest of us. She wasn’t stealing, showing signs of being up to no good just out and about like the rest of us. A security guard harassed, profiled her and she ended up leaving in tears because of it. I haven’t shopped at my local Tukwila location since then.

    I’ve had repeated issues with returns. They have a metal roof over the return area so you can’t pull up receipts on your phone due to this issue. If there is an if and or but about an item. More than once I’ve nicely organized my returns then the idiots just dump them all into a pile then complain about how difficult it was to return it all. Instead of getting confused, frustrated and rude about it all then blame the customer on the issue. No dear, that was all on you not me. I have had issues returning Amazon Kohl’s purchases as well. Many times I’ll return an item and they will be challenged in finding it in their system despite the printed receipt says it is one of their clothing articles.

    The changing rooms during the holidays are a total mess. Clothing piles are piled as high as 10 feet in a messy mound and I feel bad for the employees having to clean this up. This didn’t use to be a highly messy area and it took them forever after covid years ended to open up the changing rooms. Even then they were limited at best and often cluttered and dirty due to neglect. Due to no gender changing rooms I kept hearing a guy talk about how hot she looked in that outfit and she didn’t mind him in the booth with her while she changed.... If I feel that uncomfortable each time I go in I won’t even bother going in. Many times there can be a lack of cashiers and wait times can range from 5-20 min. Most companies if you have nth customers in line you call a back up. Either they don’t have another cashier on duty or they chose not to.

    After a huge reset in 2023 I found myself finding less there than normal. The reset obviously reduced the amount of clothing they carry in stores. The company use to be good at rotating seasonal stock but now they take forever on it. Reduced close out clothing takes forever to move on before they reset it to the next season. All these reasons add up over time and these are why I stopped supporting Kohl’s over the years. It is honestly getting more difficult to find clothing stores where the clothes actually fit for real “normal” sized individuals. No wonder I’ve gotten back into sewing my own clothes.

    I have made my last order to Kohl's. I ordered a comforter 2 months ago. It took 1 month before they would send a replacement, well 1 month later still no comforter. I have ordered 5 items from other companies in this time all shipped same way and have received them all. When you call, they keep saying call back in 6 days. Still will not refund or replace, very rude also. And to top it off it's on my kohls charge and I have been charged interest and was told if they refund they will not refund the interest. I have been a customer for years, but this will 100% be the last. Horrible customer service.

    I ordered 2 items from kohls.com and a week went by without either item being shipped. After one week I get a notification that one of my items was cancelled due to being out of stock. Then my second item was still not shipped after one week. I then used my Kohl's cash for the item not cancelled and ordered two small items. The tracking was incorrect on both items as they were delivered without there website ever showing the item leaving the carrier. So in other words there was no tracking of my item whatsoever by the company. Then in order to get those two small items the website forced me to split the items into to orders in order to pay with kohls cash in which I was charged shipping twice. The representative did nothing to fix my issues and pretty much told me oh well don't know whilst to tell you. Horrible place to buy from. Buyer beware.

    I bought at Kohl’s online a SET of bedsheets advertised with coupon and other offer for $30 something. They sent me 2 pillowcases. I chatted w/ an associate and she tells me that the pillowcases are now $50. I told her that I paid for a WHOLE SET and I needed to speak with a manager. She told me there’s none. I have proof of the emails. Look what they added, the word OR, AFTER they had my money. Why would I pay the same price for a whole set (that has already 2 pillowcases) or for just 2 pillowcases?!

    Kohl’s recently went from having their own credit to issuing Kohl’s Capital One credit cards. When they did that they stopped sending paper bills through the mail. Supposedly 4 months ago my wife charged $44 but we never got a bill. Then we noticed they were charging $24 a month late charge after 2 months. My wife called Capital One credit card twice and was assured the late charges would be removed but they never were. Today we argued with customer service for 30 minutes when I said I’ll pay the bill I cancel the card. Ended up paying $100 in late fees and the $44 bill before canceling the credit card. Kohl’s going to Capital One was a big mistake. Now we will probably never shop at Kohl's after this terrible experience.

    They don’t honor their return/exchange policy. I bought Levis for $69.99 and needed to change the size. I didn’t have my receipt. They offered $15 credit and buy new for $69.99. They said it was on clearance for $41. But they don’t know how to buy it on clearance. I said Levis don’t cost $125 but the 3 women couldn’t figure that out. I shopped there for 22 years but not going back. Their website sells it for $69.99, not clearance $41. They are criminals. They are going out of business soon and stock price was $65 in 2020, $24 in 2024 and now $8. I told the 3 customer service women that. They should be looking for a new job. Their multiple stores don’t have any customers. Avoid this company. Their coupons can’t be used on anything other than their low quality store brands.

    Kohl’s customer service is horrible. I was sick and accidentally let $40 Kohl’s cash expire. When I discovered this and told Kohl’s, I was told by Isaiah that nothing could be done. I had also purchased $40 sandals the week before but the Kohl’s cash was not listed in my account. It magically reappeared several days later. I explained that I had been ill or would have dealt with this sooner (2 days) but again, “too bad.” THIS IS THE WAY Kohl’s treats good, long time customers.

    I visited this store today, June 14, 2025. I have never seen a more disgusting department store in my entire life. I visited the shoe department. No one has taken care of that shoe department in days maybe weeks maybe months. Shoes on the floor everywhere, you couldn’t even walk through the aisles: boxes of shoes strewn everywhere. Walking through to the women’s department, display items were in piles not carefully folded, not appealing to look at. I wouldn’t touch them.

    Moving onto your women’s department, racks and racks and racks of discounted clothing that even third world countries wouldn’t want. The bedding area had comforters, pillows, anything you can name on the floor. Some of packages were opened and just lying there. I am disgusted at what Kohl’s has become. Whoever manages that store does not take any pride in that store and has absolutely no idea how to make a shopping experience pleasant for your customers. I did not buy anything. I will never go back.

    Worst place ever!!! Bought 2 large cabinets one of them arrived damaged, can not transport myself due to size/weight so cant bring to Kohl's or UPS, have called kohl's 5 times. They were supposed to have ups pick up. That never happened. Then said they would just refund me. That never happened. Then said need to file dispute with credit card company to get refund!!     **. I have been shopping at this Kohl's since the opening of the store and spent a lot of money in there, but today was the worse shopping experience I have ever had in any store. I had $119.00 dollars worth of merchandise in my shopping cart and I went to check out, I handed the cashier my $10.00 Kohl cash and I was told the Kohl cash was expired and they couldn't accept it, I told him they always gave a grace period in the past and he told me, "Not anymore," I asked when and he told me, "The rule changed on 5.15.25."

    I informed him I never got any notice in the mail and it didn't say that on the Kohl cash, I asked for a manager and ** which is a shift supervisor came up and told me no they couldn't honor the $10.00 Kohl in a dry rude way, the cashier and ** thought they did something grand by denying me the use of my $10.00 Kohl cash and having a laugh on me, I thought it was disrespectful and disgusting! They lost out on 119.00 and tax minus $10.00 of Kohl cash if I would have been able to use it, so $109.00 and plus tax profit. What a joke!

    I will be closing my Kohl's credit card with Capital One and never shopping with Kohl's ever again. You lost a loyal customer over $10.00! And I think I got the last laugh because that same pillow was on sale at Bed Bath and Beyond online store for $29.24 on sale for Memorial Day! Total with tax and shipping $39.26. The customer appreciation at Kohl's has gone down drastically! Buyers beware! I wish I could give zero stars, the Kohl cash termed on 5.26.25! Today is 5.28.25 it only been 2 days and they wouldn't honor. What a joke!

    I have never been more disappointed in Kohl’s as I am today. I have been shopping with my Kohl’s card for over 30 years. Recently, they forced all of their Kohl’s cards to transfer to capital one. I activated the card by calling the number on the sticker, as is usual for a new card. I received no other information, until suddenly I have an email that I’ve missed a payment. Odd, because I always pay in full as soon as I receive a statement. But I never received this statement. So I tried to get into the Capital One website, enters my info and it says they can’t match me.

    I called, and it seems I’m not the “primary account holder.” What the heck, I’ve been shopping at Kohl’s since before I was married. There’s no way my husband should’ve been the primary. Did they just default to the man?? So I can’t create an account online, they apparently don’t have my address (????) so they can’t mail me a statement either. So here I am, can’t get a statement by mail, can’t get into the online portal. I mailed in a check for my balance due and I’m done. I can’t take the chance of this happening again, so I will no longer use the card. Without it, you can’t get their discounts, so I probably won’t shop there anymore. Which is sad because I do like their stuff. They did credit me the late fee but I’m betting I still got reported to all of the credit agencies. Ridiculous.

    I have been a loyal customer for years. Not anymore. Have very few items in the store. Everything has to be order online and then they want you to pay for shipping. Not even delivered to store. Then when you get the order you can not exchange it for a different size. Makes you return it and then reorder at the new price. No other store does not do exchanges for sizes.     I bought a set of Textured Titanium pots and pans, a Food Network brand. Food network says to call Kohls about these items.     Boy don't make any mistakes in your payments to Kohl's because they will tell you it is not possible to reimburse you. My app wasn't working correctly so I didn't know if I made a payment or not so I tried it a couple of more times. Well little did I know it went through so I ended up making three payments. So I called Kohl's and they said that they cannot reimburse me for the two extra payments. If you ask me poor business because I feel any company should be able to reimburse you those two payments.

    I've always been happy with Kohl's. Great customer service, until just recently. I've been a customer for around 50 years. I kept my credit limit at $500, because I try to pay the balance each month. Occasionally at Christmas time it takes me a couple of months to pay it off. They recently raised my limit, without my permission to $1,000. I called twice trying to get it reduced back to $500. They said they could not do it for me but I could do it on the website. No you can't. I called back and told them reduce it or close my account. They closed it. I buy almost all of my family's clothes there. No wonder they are losing business. They just gave mine away. I'll be shopping with their competitors from now on. I've never heard of a something so ridiculous.

    I have been battling a fraudulent Kohl's account that was created using my name and Social Security Number since at least August 6, 2024. I discovered it on my monthly JP Morgan Chase Credit report and they advised me to contact the credit bureaus and request an investigation. I received a “HARD INQUIRY” alert on my credit report stating, “It looks like a lender recently checked your credit report. This typically happens when you apply for a new credit card or loan." INFORMATION FOUND. Lender: KOHLS/CAPONE. Inquiry date: 08/06/2024.

    When I attempted to have the account investigated, the credit bureaus told me to first contact Kohls because they needed the full account number. Thus, I attempted to contact Kohls both by telephone and in writing. Despite multiple attempts to have this account closed and removed from my credit report, Kohls repeatedly refused to do so, and would not even give me the full account number, claiming that they had to “protect their customers.” – of course, to me that meant, “Kohls feels it’s more important to protect their criminal employees than their unsuspecting innocent customers with good credit scores.”

    Specifically, I first spoke with "Ken" at 888-890-1755 and he acknowledged that he saw the credit bureau report saying that I had filed a “Credit card fraud inquiry first reported 8/6/24.” But he could not close the account unless I agreed to pay the balance of $489.##. Then he said he was not really the fraud department but only took new applications, and gave me different number to call 9-6 pm CST.

    I called the other number the next day, and spoke with Bryanna employee ID #**. She did find the fake account #, but refused to disclose it to me to enable the Credit bureau investigation. She stated that was because “The Account has a restriction on it,” stating that she could only disclose information to the person who opened the account. She said she would have to “verify me” by confirming my address, but when I gave her my address, she said I was the fraudulent person, based on the fact that she had a different physical address for “Rosabel **” in her computer. Then she also refused to release the perpetrator's address or the full account information, and further stated that “per company policy” she could only close the account with the consent of the person who opened it as verified by that person’s physical address and phone number, which did not match my phone number either.

    When I protested that her actions were not in keeping with Federal identity theft investigation requirements, and that she was also violating the credit bureau requests to close that account, she then put me on hold for 10-15 minutes. When she came back, she confirmed that she had checked with her supervisor, and that what she had told me was definitely “COMPANY POLICY!!”

    I then asked if Kohls would work with Federal law enforcement, since it was obvious that your credit department representatives were not willing to work with the Credit bureaus, and she said “They (meaning the company leadership) are not interested in prosecuting the person who opened the fraudulent account in your name.” She eventually agreed to “file a dispute” for the account, and said “Kohls would send me a letter in 30-60 days.”

    In view of Kohls refusal to investigate or close this account, I then reported the account as Identity Theft to the Federal authorities and again to the credit bureaus confirming my credit alert requiring that creditors call me if anyone applies for credit using my name or Social Security Number. After the Federal filing, I did receive a letter from Kohls stating that they had closed the account – but this was the end of OCTOBER – more than 2 months after I first alerted Kohls of the fraud.

    I was at peace for about 6 weeks, and then Kohls again made a fraudulent account “reappear” on my credit report just a few days ago – revealed by another JP Morgan Chase alert stating that there was another “HARD INQUIRY” by KOHLS/ CAPONE against my credit report and that my credit score had dropped by 30 points again as a result. When I inquired with Kohls, they gave me the same run-around, insisting that only I could have opened the account and that this “proved” that it was not fraudulent.

    I then contacted the credit bureaus and they all confirmed that the credit alert requiring creditors to call me anytime anyone attempts to open a credit or loan account using my name or Social Security Number was still active. The credit bureau fraud alert requires that the Kohls employee processing the credit card application must contact me by telephone, not via email or fax or any other method. All three bureaus said that the employees processing the credit applications at the store should easily see that alert with my name and telephone number when they process credit applications, and that if they don’t follow those instructions, then it is quite likely that the perpetrator is a Kohls employee!

    Kohl's is THE WORST. I purchased and paid for items in full on 12/7. It is 12/17 and 1 item is still processing. I’ve called, emailed, and argued with their chat all to no avail. Still no item and no resolution. I will literally never buy from this company again. Their inability to control their supply chain is telling of their business. You can’t even get a human on the phone without jumping through hoops and when you finally do get someone on the phone don’t expect them to actually be able to help. Their employees are completely useless.

    I bought a winter coat as a Christmas present for a family member on cyber Monday. My credit card was promptly billed and received my confirmation. I received an email 'YOUR FULL ORDER IS READY TO SHIP' two days later. In review of the Kohl's order tracking it shows shipped; clicking on the tracking information it states AWAITING CARRIER PICKUP. This is the status the order has shown for over a week. The Kohl's site is not updated therefore had to call customer service to be basically told they can refund my money in 7 - 10 day and oh, for my inconvenience send me $10 Kohl's cash. They are unable to determine the status of the item! Now scrambling for a Christmas present, waiting for my refund.

I called the customer service and they said my order status is "Returning to the sender"! What? Why? If it was ever shipped to me, why didn't I get any email update about it (since I got the update about the other part of the shipment). They can't say they don't have my email, can't say they don't have my address, can they? Otherwise how the other part of my order worked? I asked for a refund but they said it would take at least 30 days to get the refund. What? They charged me in one minute but refund me after 30 days?

    I wanted to share my recent experience with Kohl’s.com and Kohl’s Customer Service at 855-564-5705 for the past several days. I wanted to purchase GreenPans for Christmas presents. Due to crazy quantity restrictions I was not able to get the 4 different GreenPan I needed. It makes no sense that you can buy several sets of pans but you can not buy the pans individually. This means if you want to make your own set of pans you need to buy from Target, Amason, etc. somewhere other than Kohl’s since you can only buy up to 3 different pans of a brand. Here is my scenario: 11/30 – ordered GreenPan Chatham Triply Stainless Saute Pan #**. 12/2 – ordered GreenPan 3Qt. Nonstick Ceramic Saucepan #**. 12/2 – ordered GreenPan 2 pc. Nonstick Saucepan set #**

    Then I got a 40% discount to use 12/3 & 12/4. On 12/4 I submitted an order for a different GreenPan – the Triply 2.5 qt. saucepan #** but the order was cancelled. I initiated a chat and was told to contact customer service at 855-564-5705. They tried to process the order but it still was cancelled so they turned it over to their supervisor who filed an incident report and I would be contacted within a few hours to a day. I had not hear by 2 pm on 12/5 so I called customer service again. I was even transferred to a manager and was told due to the limit restrictions of the product I was not able to purchase the 4th pan, even though all the pans involved were different pans and SKU’s. I was told there was nothing they could do on their side to correct this issue, I would need to purchase the 4th pan somewhere else.

    It is totally ridiculous that you cannot buy more 3 different pans of the same brand from Kohl’s. I understand not being able to purchase more than 1 or 2 of the same pan of a brand but not being able to buy more than 3 different ones of the same brand makes no sense at all. In the past I would look at kohl’s first for home goods but now Kohl’s will be the last place I go due to their unusual and ridiculous limit restrictions, especially for gifts.

    I was in the store on 11/12/24 between 530 and 5:48 pm. I was at the register to check out and I was called to reg. 4 and while I am going to the reg the girls on it left. I thought she will come back but she didn’t and I stayed there for 5 min or 6 mins standing clueless what happen then I had to ask the others cashier about what happened which response, "I don’t know why she did that" and offered to help me after he finishes his customer so I had to wait again.

    It is the negligence and unacceptable behavior of dismissing of that cashier no. 4. 0 customer service but surely they don’t have any training or may be they are better than their customer to treat them with respect. I just got a birthday gift to my friend. I was happy with price and the quality of my gift but this experience had to be messed up with this cashier. I am sure I am not the only one she did that or may be was disrespectful in another way but I hope I will be the one to let you know what you can expect when you deal with Kohl's staff.

    I always have a hard time logging in with my written passwords to avoid errors. Websites and apps load super slow. Customer service asks for all your personal information which nowadays you can't give to just anyone. I feel all this is done purposely to frustrate people and create late payments.     I placed an online order on 9/20/24 for 3 of the same exact shirts but in different colors. My credit card was charged, however, they delayed sending the order out by several days. The supplied tracking information seemed to indicate that the package was being transferred to several different post offices in Riverside/Los Angeles area instead of sending it to San Diego. Not sure how legitimate the tracking info was or why it was showing the package was being sent all over the place. But I waited patiently and when it arrived on 9/30/24, only 2 of the 3 shirts were enclosed. There was no receipt, no invoice, nothing inside the box to indicate why the 3rd shirt was missing.

    I contacted Kohls that day and was told a refund would be issued for the missing shirt as it was out of stock. To date, I have still not received the refund and have called 4 times, each time someone claiming the refund that's supposed to take 7 days, has been processed and to just wait. They can't give me any explanation why each time I call I'm told the refund wasn't processed by the previous agent, but is now in process and on its way. Right... Sure it is!!!! I WILL NEVER buy anything from Kohl's online again. From the other complaints I've read, it appears to be an ongoing issue.

    On September 19, 2024, I visited the Kohl’s store in Greenfield, WI, with my service dog. The manager, Cam, refused entry for my service animal, citing unfounded concerns about the dog relieving himself. I explained ADA laws, yet I was only allowed to buy one item and told to leave. Cam followed closely and even filmed us, which made the situation more distressing. I’m sharing this in hopes that Kohl’s addresses this issue with proper staff training to ensure customers with disabilities are treated respectfully.

    I have had a totally unacceptable experience with Kohl's for something that should have been a simple order. First, one of the items I wanted (a purse) was oversold. A shirt I purchased in the same order never arrived and I had to contact Kohl's three times before a customer service agent gave me credit for the missing shirt. In the meantime, I ordered a replacement for the purse. When it arrived, it was the wrong color (I ordered brown, this was purple). Then, I got a notice from my credit card company that I was being charged for the shirt I canceled and that Kohls was shipping it anyway (They did this without authorization and that is FRAUD.) I contacted Kohl's for the fourth time to cancel the order and was told to take this up with my credit card company. My credit card company isn't the problem-- Kohl's nefarious business practices and lousy customer service are the problem.

    All I wanted was a return label so I could send the incorrect purse and the unwanted shirt back-- like, I'm not trying to keep their merchandise, they sent me something I canceled and an incorrect item for Pete's sake-- and customer service refused to do that even though none of this is my fault-- it's Kohls' error (one error after another) I now have to drive 45 minutes to the store to return a shirt I do not want and an incorrect Item that Kohl's shipped because they made a mistake. In my opinion, people should avoid this company at all costs-- it was such a ridiculous hassle over a simple transaction.

    I've been shopping at Kohl's for 10 years, and this store should be much more popular! Returns are easy if you do not like any items. I typically buy everything online from Kohls and usually have fantastic experiences with this. In-store pickup is so convenient and everyone should give this a try because it is one of the coolest experiences in the world! Kohls cash is super convenient too, and is an amazing way to save money. Also, I've not had any mistakes with my online orders yet, and I have submitted orders for hundreds of items online.

    I'm hoping more people figure out that they should shop here and keep Kohls in business forever. Most of their products are fabulous quality and the sales are outstanding, but you just have to know what products to shop for here. I shop for Cuisinart blenders, food processors, other kitchenware, pet products like brushes and shampoo for cats, Burt's Bees products, totes, purses, blankets, sweaters, electric toothbrushes, backpacks, towels, hand towels, and wash clothes.

    I don't know what's going on but I think I was discriminated against... I never had a problem purchasing anything online with Kohl's, then one day I applied for a part time job there.. It was weird because it was over the phone. The area I applied for is not for a person of color, so I knew they would waste no time with telling me they found someone else the same day via email... So after that I started getting emails that my account was locked due to to many attempts.. Nope. I never tried, so now every time I go to my account I have to change my password. Then I try to use a discount code and it keep saying try again lol, then when I go farther to check out it ask me do I want to check out as a guest but I'm already logged in to my account... If I can get into my account I will remove it... Stories like this always learn the hard way...

    Placing an order, good luck. They send out emails with misleading information saying "Your item has shipped." But in fact, it hasn't. They change the delivery date after the order for an in-stock item, after you pay for it. You talk with customer service, their goal seems to be to get you off the phone. Just supply the correct information at time of purchase. Don't bother trying to call corporate to get answers, you'll never get anywhere. THEY DON'T CARE!!! THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY.

    Ok. My Kohl’s cash expired and remembered reading they can be replaced AT THE STORE within 10 days. So, asked for the manager who gave me such a difficult time and sort of followed me around store and finally went to check out. She told me I needed to purchase $4 more and so, there was a $3.99 candy bar in aisle by register so, I put it on the counter. Her name was SUE, from Brooklyn, and I asked why she couldn’t physically issue me replacement Kohl's cash and she refused to do it. So, that was back on June 26 and that’s when it ALL started to reflect on my online account. It would show my Kohl’s cash in numerics with no SKU attached and 3 days later, my online account would show no Kohl cash values but SKU. And this past weekend, all hell broke loose and it was gone.

    I couldn’t access my Kohl’s account at all, locked out, too many attempts ALTHOUGH MY PASSWORD WAS SAME FOR many months. I’ve had a credit account for 16 years!! I spoke to Lucas, offshore agent, who transferred my history to a gmail.com account and personally, I think that change made my account fall into limbo. Can anyone explain what happened? Lost my rewards money, lost my 7.5% Kohl’s credit card rewards status and more. I would like a district manager or regional manager or CEO of Kohl’s to reach out and help me with this issue.

    Kohl's is changing its credit card to Capital One as a Visa rewards card. They are doing this without my permission. I should have been advised before this was set in place to happen. I don't want the Capital One card, but I can't cancel it until AFTER it is issued. If this shows as a canceled card on my credit report, I will be contacting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

    My 96 year old mother has a Kohl's card which she allows me to carry to purchase things she needs. She is in a retirement home and has memory issues. Kohls is calling her at the home regarding her bill. ($31). I have attempted to update her address with Kohls and they won’t allow me to. I have Power of Attorney. My Mom lives 200 miles from me. Kohls customer service is outsourced and office to understand and deal with. We will end up canceling her card.

    On January 24, 2024, a fraudulent purchase was made on our credit card in the amount of $184.66. Subsequently, that amount was debited from our bank account on February 26, 2024 since we chose automatic payment. When I noted the debit, I immediately phoned Kohl’s and spoke to their representative who handles fraud. She appeared to be helpful and informed me that the purchase was made for rain boots somewhere in New York. A check of our account does show an order made by someone at the Commack, New York store (991) for rain boots.

    I was told that it normally takes sixty days to research, however, this appeared to be a clear case of fraud, and we would receive the money back in a short time. It did not happen. I contacted Kohl’s several times, to no avail. I then did a little research early May 2024 and found the email addresses for the CEO and one of the other corporate officers. I emailed them and got immediate attention. We finally got a refund over three months after our money was taken. We were told that a mistake was made by a Kohl’s employee and they had lost our complaint.

    It is clear that had I not contacted the CEO, we probably would not have gotten our money returned. There was no apology from Kohl’s…no small form of compensation for their error…only a short letter stating our money was refunded. Now, a few months later and someone is trying to hack into our account. This seems to be an issue with Kohl’s. As a result, we have cancelled our account with Kohl’s and will no longer do business with them.

    Why use packing peanuts? Almost the whole world has moved on to more environmentally friendly alternatives to Styrofoam. I ordered an Anolon saute pan that wasn't available locally and had to be shipped. When I opened the box it was shipped in, it was filled to the top with Styrofoam peanuts but had no packing on the bottom. Meaning the pan as only cushioned on one side. Since there was no mention of the peanuts being biodegradable, I have to conclude they are the original Styrofoam peanuts that NOBODY uses anymore. I am not sure if this pan was shipped directly from the manufacturer or from Kohl's, but either way, STOP IT!!!

    Shopping with 30% invite mailer. CUSTOMER APPRECIATION! Not so. Went to check out. "Sorry. These items are not available for discount.". The check register "acted up". I decided to take my items because a very long angry line was forming behind me. I will be returning my whole purchase real soon! Conclusion: Customer Appreciation means, "We thank you for purchasing the clearance items so we don't have to deal with it!" The IT department needs to upgrade their card swipe program....     Kohl's themselves might or might not be ok but I purchased items on their credit card and after returning all the items they claim I owe them $80. I told them I returned everything. They started calling me every day sometimes several times a day to get me to pay, I told them over and over I do not owe them money. After many months of them harassing me and ruining my credit they finally told me they see that I returned everything but refuse to credit me or fix my credit because they claim I got kohls cash and that is why I owe them money.     I will not be ordering online with Kohl’s ever again. When ordering ship to store, it takes at least 9 days to have the order fulfilled although they bill you immediately. If you place an order ship to store you cannot cancel it, even if you do it immediately. A refund on a ship to store order takes at least a week to receive, although any other refund is within 1 day.

    I went to the Hamden Store to return items from an online order. I was told that is alright that I did not have tags on the merchandise and I just bring to the store and return it. When I got to the store, the customer service was having difficultly matching the SKUs with product. They called customer service and they said that they can’t help because the system was down. The manager told associate to call back and see if they could resolve the issue. Associate called them and I spoke the customer service person and they said that they processed the return but were not able to credit my account and I had to call my bank. I called my bank and I had to make a claim against the transaction.

    I figured that I would call Kohl's customer service back and see if they would resolve it for me. They did not and told that I had to go back to the store and get a receipt. I explained to them that I gave the merchandise back to the store and can’t get a receipt. So once I got off the phone with them, I called the Hamden store and told them what Kohl's customer service said to me and the manager told me that he has heard of that and it ridiculous. So I have made a formal complaint with Kohl's and I am just looking to get my money back which is around 190.00 bucks. I just so frustrated now and don’t feel comfortable ordering from Kohl's.con anymore.

    This company lies about their sales, coupons, free shipping and ineligible brands, which seems to be almost and everytime I shop online with this retailer. The statements do not reflect the order totals vs the statement total due. The customer service staff refuse to confirm the coupon promo codes which are different from my mailed coupon codes, which ultimately proves the percentage difference is incorrect. I was overcharged for a 3rd time in less than a year. I'm getting rid of my Kohl's charge account. Hopefully the other customers get a better outcome with their unresolved issues.

    Kohl's kept sending me emails about my Kohl's Cash expiring on 4/21/24. Well ON 4/21/24 I decided to use it online except it said I had no Kohl's Cash. So I reached out on their official Facebook chat and kohl's website. They told me I didn’t have any. I sent screenshots showing the email showing “Your Kohl's Cash may be expiring as soon as April 21, 2024.” I received ANOTHER email AFTER the chat agents told me I don’t have any kohl's cash saying I DID have kohl's cash “just waiting to be spent”!! -Redeem it in store $ online through Apr 21.

    Once again I sent screenshots showing this came AFTER they’re telling me I don’t have any. ABBY was particularly stubborn on the date issue telling me “The wording does not reflect 4/21 as the expiration date.” What in the world does “Redeem it in store $ online through Apr 21” mean then???? I repeatedly requested escalation to a manager which she refused and stopped responding to my chat. Useless, Incompetent and a RIP OFF!!!

    Kohl's has twice not refunded my returns due to administrative error or sales clerk misconduct. I returned approximately 70.00 worth of Sephora items and returned approximately $50.00 worth of clothing items. I don't shop there often so I know what my bill should be. Kohl's receipts fade after a short time and Kohl's refuses to show me the itemized statements/bills I have repeatedly requested. If they showed me I would gladly pay them but concealing the itemized statements/bills their mistakes easy to hide. First time I gave them the benefit of the doubt. This time I know they are in error. I hope they get a class a action suit for their wrong doing. The late fee on 59.00 I never owed has accumulated to nearly 300.00. Shame on you Kohl's! Class action is in order.

    They started out where you weren't able to use a percent off coupon on electronics a few years back. Fast forward to today, you can't use the coupons on just about everything in the store except for THEIR brand items. I knew most of the stuff wasn't including in the coupons but spent time picking out baby items and NOTHING was eligible for the 40% off coupon they sent me. If I'm going to pay full price for the items I can just go to Macy's or a department store.

    Kohl's used to be a great place to shop with great sales and bargains. They actually now are higher than the department stores are. They have gotten greedy and have tried to upscale themselves to carry higher end brands (at higher end prices) to compare themselves to higher end stores. For me it's a HUGE FAIL. I just won't shop there any longer. The idea is to KEEP customers, not chase them away. That's called doing good business while STAYING in business, which honestly I don't think this store will be still in business in the very near future.

    I received my Kohl's credit card statement for February 2024. I noticed that it had a late fee. I then jumped on my bank account to verify that I had paid it on time. It was on time, 2 days early. I then received the late fee for February even though that payment was on time a day early. After speaking with 4 reps and having their customer service confirmed that the payment was on time. They continue to charge me late fees and interest on late fees. I asked for an inquiry March 1st and told them I would call them on the 18th I called them 18th and they haven't started the inquiry. I also asked to file complaints the complaints were not filed and they refuse to resolve the issue with my account. I had no other choice but to close the account.

    The January payment was received 2 days before the due date and the February payment was received day before the due date. They have admitted that they was an error and waived the late fees. But they keep adding the late fees to my account they are trying to get me to pay a late fee after admitting that they received the payment on time. They are also tacking on interest on late fees that should not be charged to me. As of today (March 18), they have not started the inquiry and they have not taken my complaints. Four attempts to resolve an issue is more than what is needed.

    I have been a customer of Kohl's for many many years. Over the yrs, I receive a promotional coupon. EX: $10 off. I received one expiring March 12, 2024. When I went to the store to use it, clerk entered upc and pin. And asked it was invalid. This has happened before and I let it go, however I feel it's almost like a bait and switch, Get the customer to come in, spend some money and then don't honor the coupon that you sent them. I think it's time to start shopping elsewhere and close my charge with them. I was going to report to them directly however they don't accept emails and you go around in circles with their "chat".

    I made a charge in August 2023 of $98. I finally received a bill in October which had a typo on my address made by Kohl’s. I called the main office and was told to go to the Kohls and make a payment of $110. I did that, got a receipt and paid with a check. Ever since then it’s been an ongoing battle and the charges keep going up and up. Still to this date it’s not cleared up. I have mailed receipts and copies and faxed all the paperwork and copy of the receipt and check. In my countless phone calls no one there will help me. I pay my bills.     Kohl's used to be an ok place to shop despite the high prices of non-clearance items and dwindling quality however the Kohl's credit card payment services DO NOT allow their members/customers to utilize financial software like Quicken budgeting and payment software. Since I have a multitude of creditors and bills like utilities, streaming services, etc. I set up Quicken to help me manage payments through my bank institution so I can keep up with payments and budgets for all my creditors. Kohl's is the only department store that will not allow me to add the credit card.

    Maybe some folks can pay accountants to manage their multitude of creditors every month but I personally like using Quicken to save money. Kohl's sure does not mind selling my personal information to anyone they choose but not this. I'm closing my card immediately and will never shop there again. If they can't keep up with technology and how folks manage finances post-covid, they won't be around for much longer.

    I have been a Kohl's customer for well over 20 years. I'd say 1/3 or more of my family's clothing has come from Kohl's. A new job? New work clothes from Kohl's. Outgrow your jeans? Time to visit Kohl's. Weather getting cold? Sweaters purchased from Kohl's. I am absolutely appalled at how much the quality of Kohl's clothing, regardless of the brand, has gone downhill. They are SUPER thin now. I'd say that's the main concern. I mean they are seriously REALLY thin! Am I actually buying a shirt or is this material supposed to be used as a tablecloth? The clothing also falls apart so much faster now, which is detrimental to my finances with inflation. I can't afford to buy a new pair of shoes every year. They used to be affordable AND lasted a few years with normal usage. Where are they getting this crap from now anyways?!

    Have not received a Card yet but was charged for $22.97. All transaction went through my bank cards. There are Kohl's calls during office hours making difficult to answer back by moments, but couldn't be reached back for contact's reason. Willing to pay for my mistake, which was wanting to do business with Kohl’s, and get off its system but there are no efficient communication. I am nervous about what will coming next.     I ordered three item to be shipped to my Utah address. They confirmed that TWO would be shipped to the address provided. The third was to be picked up in DALLAS, TEXAS! I thought I cancelled that item and told them that I live in UTAH. They continued sending me messages to pick it up. I ordered Sephora shampoo. It arrived unsealed and half full. Leaked all over!     Hello, Back on December 14th, 2023 there were fraudulent charges on my Kohl's account for two orders going to Indiana. I tried to call to resolve these issues and ended up talking to a bunch of moron service people. Half of them couldn't understand what I was trying to say. I spent at least a couple of days calling to get this matter resolved and it went nowhere. Now my account is locked and I can't do any last minute Christmas shopping. Thanks Kohl's. Kohl's has by far the worst customer care department. Most customer care is garbage and doesn't care about their customers. This is horrible. Thanks for the crappy help. Please cancel my account now please.

    Kohl's Has Gone Way Down. I ordered two separate orders online for Christmas gifts (2023). The first order was for 3, 2-piece outfits for my infant grandson. When I received the order, one of the outfits only had the pants. The plastic bag the outfit was supposed to be in was opened and missing the flannel top that matched the pants. I contacted Kohl's ASAP and they did send a new outfit. The second order was for 3 necklaces. They were for my 3 daughters for an early Christmas celebration. The day before the celebration I opened the order and realized there was only ONE necklace ($225 price for each before any discounts btw). I was heartbroken! I always get my girls something special from "momma" at Christmas and I only had one. I double-checked online and it verified that I ordered three, and was charged for 3!

    I called customer service immediately and the call went to an overseas call center. The connection was terrible and the gentleman who answered could only say that he would check to see if he could have the other necklaces shipped to me. Of course, it would be too late to give to them in person, but it was something at least. Then he gave me the news that there were not any left in stock. That Kohl's (in both scenarios), shipped less than what was ordered AND what was PAID FOR says a lot about their business practices. I received no notice to let me know that I was only getting a partial order, and no credit given to my payment. Wherever and whoever is filling the orders (packing, etc.) are derelict in their duties. In addition, not having a person who could understand and rectify the situation shows that Kohl's is no longer a good customer service retailer. They have lost my business for good.

    Came into store to purchase items for my wife and was accosted by three police officers telling me lost prevention assumed I was going to steal. Was questioned and told not to steal very disturbed by the incident. If not for me keeping my composure things could have gone totally wrong. Contacted customer service and no response yet. Please disregard the one star. If possible and never want to bring race into a matter this incident was truly just that. I will never spend another dime with that company.     I opened a Kohl's credit card. I spent 117.00. I tried to set up online payment and it would not let me. I went ahead and mail a check. 2 weeks later no credit to my account which was the payment in full. I called and paid and canceled my check in the mail, thinking it was lost. I go to order a gift card and it canceled my order 5 times. I called. He unlocked the card. Told me I could order. I went to order. It canceled my order 3 more times. No one should have to work this hard to purchase something. They can keep their card. I am going to Macy's and Amazon.

    Ordered a holiday gift for my daughter which was an Amazon Kindle kids tablet on sale for $74.99 on Black Friday & said delivery would be Nov 30-Dec 6. I still hadn’t received it Dec 10th so I called & they basically just told me to contact the third party courier which I’d never heard of called “OnTrac.” I waited 2 days & finally got in contact with “OnTrac” which is only possible via text message. They confirmed that my package was indeed lost & then I was told to contact Kohl's again. Now I’m on my third phone call to Kohl's. I get an employee that tells me they can see my order was being re-routed back to their warehouse & I was told within 30 days of them receiving my order they’d provide me with a refund. That is absolutely ridiculous to make me wait potentially 30 days for an order they know I will not receive.

    I asked for a supervisor & he told me that it wasn’t his policy but Kohl's. No one was questioning whether he writes the policies for Kohl’s so that was a completely irrelevant statement but very clearly he did not want a negative survey for himself knowing that he was unable to provide anything close to a resolution. He then suggested I place a second order since it was a gift & give them even more of my money to then hope to receive that tablet. Absolutely ridiculous to suggest but I had no choice. I asked for a different supervisor to call me back after an escalation & when we hung up I purchased another tablet from Amazon instead.

    Not even an hour later a different supervisor calls me back & says that if I don’t receive the tablet today, which we all know I will not, that they will process a replacement when I call back tomorrow. So not only are they now making me make 5 different phone calls but I don’t want a replacement because I was told I could only get a refund & to purchase another tablet. This supervisor told me that their policies had changed to which I questioned if it had changed in less than an hour & she then changed her story to just say the previous supervisor was wrong & I would not receive a refund only a replacement which would come after Christmas.

    The customer service is just the worst I’ve ever experienced on top of the fact that they didn’t even come close to resolving my issue. I’m not sure where we leave off now other than I will be posting this review where I can & will not be a customer of Kohl's ever again. What a mess of a company & a very clear lack of training on how to handle customers.

    I ordered UGG Tizzy shoes as a Christmas gift. Package came in the mail, unopened, no damage at all. I opened the package and when I opened the shoe box, someone had taken out the UGGS and replaced them with their old, off brand shoes!!!! I’m beyond angry! I called customer service and was told that, ”I’m sorry, the Tizzy Chestnut shoes are now out of stock”! Someone from the distribution center had to have stolen the shoes since the packaging was sealed! Be aware if you order from Kohl’s! This could happen to you!!!

    For the last 3 months I've been trying to email back and forth to their fraud department. I've been continuously seeing emails in regards of fraudulent purchases being made under my account, my app to be specific. Whenever I email them they advise they cannot pull up a credit card with them. It's not a credit card of theirs but someone pretending to be making large purchases. Now get this, whenever I do shop with them and have Kohl's Cash built up, this happens. I lose the KC because they say they cannot credit me after it's used. I'm not the one using my own KC but someone else is. I've changed my password to only get that I'm locked back out of my account. They refuse to see the issue and claim I have no credit card with them. It's their system and my debit card being hit. I cannot delete my debit card because of how their system won't allow it. I've tried and tried and I love shopping there but they do not protect the consumers' accounts.

    I purchased a pair of men's boots and they shipped ok. A week later my son wanted the same boots so I ordered him a pair but they were never passed to the shipping carrier so after the expected delivery date I called and was given the run around. Called again the following day and got the shoes reshipped but again the same thing happened. I received a tracking number but the order never went to the carrier. After almost 3 weeks I called to cancel but was told that I couldn't and needed to wait and call back in 2 days. This is the perfect example of a company that has terrible policies and even worse customer service. I'll be canceling my card which is paid off and never shipping at Kohl's again. I only shop where I'm treated with respect and any place that adds additional stress to my life is dead to me.

    I accidentally made an online order from Kohl’s when my intention was to pick up from the store. I tried to cancel the order unsuccessfully, so I called customer service. The woman that I spoke to informed me that she was unable to cancel the order. When I asked her how to return the order, she informed me I can go to the store or return the product by mail. I asked her if a restocking fee would apply. She did not seem to understand my question. It’s possible that she refused to answer my question, but I think it may have been a language barrier so I asked to speak to the supervisor. She said she would transfer. My call, my line was promptly disconnected. I tried calling back several times, but was unable to get through to a human being.

    Many calls to customer service, hours on the phone. Customer service is outsourced to another country. Some reps can't even pull up an account or they decide not to help and put you on hold and never return! Several calls, way too much time to finally get the answer. I am a most valuable customer, paid my balance in full, $1500. There is a 1-week hold on my electronic payment. I have been a customer for 23 years, never missed a payment. I have excellent credit and I cannot make a $67 purchase because big payments get held for 7 days. Never shopping there again! Save me a lot of money, no wonder the company is going under. 4th call and over an hour to finally get someone who knows what they are doing, and they can't do anything, smh.

    I placed an order for 4 pairs of pants in March. I never received my order. I contacted Kohl’s in May to ask when I would receive them. I was told they had been delivered. I let them know I never received them. They told me they would send my order a second time. I contacted them and in August. To let them know I still had not received my order. I requested a refund and they only wanted to send me half of the money. I told them I wanted a full refund. I was assured I would get a full refund within a month. Now it’s October and I have not received a refund or my order. I will never order anything from Kohl’s again. Every time I spoke with someone different.

    Kohl's offers a paperless statement option for their Kohl's charge card, but for some reason they cannot figure out how to email statements. They can send 50+ advertising emails in 30 days, but cannot send a statement. I they don't send statements and you miss a payment, they will charge you interest and a $29.00 late fee. It is no wonder that they will be going the say of Sears and Bed Bath and Beyond. The best they could suggest is check my Spam folder, how could the other 50+ emails get through and only the statement goes to Spam. I believe this is done on purpose by Kohl's to generate additional income, and should be considered theft. They prosecute shoplifters, maybe there should be a way to prosecute companies that are outright crooks.

    I'm not sure if it was just an off night or what but the man taking Amazon returns acted and looked like he'd rather be anywhere but there. He was rude. The staff up front blatantly ignored me. One was counting coupons and the other was putting carts away. Walked all the way back to customer service to ask for a manager who also didn't seem to care so I submitted my complaint about the lack of customer service in his store and he said he'd take care of it but seemed like he couldn't wait for me to be out of his face. So I'm just letting everyone know, maybe go elsewhere if you think you're going to get decent customer service here on a Friday night an hour before close. Probably the worst experience I've had in awhile. I'll take my business elsewhere. No big. There's entirely too many competing companies to waste time on poor customer service.

    I purchased $750.00 in gift cards for my grandchildren. When my daughter in law presented them they were zero balance because Kolh's customer service thought they were suspect and canceled the cards but did not credit my charge account with them. Long story short a few hours wasted shopping she had to go elsewhere to make the purchases, not only did you lose 750.00 in sales, I will never shop at Kohl's ever, and as soon as I get my credit I will be closing my charge account.     I scheduled a payment online for my Kohl's card as I do every month. When I was debited it was not the amount authorized but instead the entire card balance. I called Kohl's and they refuse to reverse the charge. So I decided to let the BBB handle it. Through this process I discovered that Capital One actually runs Kohl's charge cards. I received a response from Kohl's corporate and they still refuse to reverse the charge. Plus side is my card is paid off. I have been a Kohl's customer for many years and now I am done ever shopping there. Kohls has been through very difficult times financially in recent years but the bottom line is they really have no concern for customers or providing customer service. Think again before shopping at Kohl's and stay far away from Kohl's charge card applications.

    I have been a long time Kohl's customer. In the past few years they have made a lot of changes to their return policies, Kohl's cash, etc. My most recent experience has me ready to find another place to shop. I placed an online order using a Merchandise Gift Card. I received the wrong item. Contacted Customer Service. They told me to gift or keep the wrong item and they would send the correct one. Second time, still received the wrong item. In fact, I contacted them as soon as I got the email because it was showing the picture of the right item but description was wrong. I tried to let them know so they could correct it before it arrived. They told me to wait. Sure enough, the wrong item arrived again.

    I called Customer service again and was told they would credit me back to my Merchandise Gift card and I should receive it in 7-10 days. I didn't. Called again. Then was told 14 days. Still no Merchandise Gift card. Called a third time. Was told 30 days. By then, I was getting the feeling that I was getting the runaround. It has been almost 30 days and nothing. Just got off the phone for the fourth time and was told to wait. I asked what happens if I wait another 4 days and I still don't have it? Will I be made to wait another 30 days? Will I receive another Merchandise Gift card? Customer Service never answered my question. I just hung up. I'm too stubborn to give up as that's not right. I'm not asking for anything free. I wanted to warn others about using Merchandise gift cards and possibly getting the wrong item that you may never see your Merchandise credit back. As for the other changes Kohl's has made, it just makes me want to find another place to shop.

    My wife and I made a lengthy trip from Colorado to Michigan to visit family. Just before arriving we spotted a Kohl’s and stopped to check out their sales. Picked a couple clothing items with a 30% discount. Proceeded to checkout and the clerk tried to get us to sign up for their credit card which would give us an additional 40% discount. We agreed but the clerk couldn’t get the system to work. Over the span of 30 minutes two other clerks got involved and tried to help.

    Meanwhile the checkout line got longer with unhappy customers. Finally, our clerk believed she had the correct transaction and we only owed 40 some dollars. We paid cash and left. Now 4 months later we are getting calls saying we owe $145 and they have no record we paid anything. 30% interest is accumulating and billing statements are now coming. Customer service may as well be a robot as they follow their little guide sheet. Needless to say, we will never shop Kohl’s again. I also will not pay for their mistakes and or incompetence.

    As a long-time Kohl’s shopper, I’m extremely disappointed in their recent changes regarding coupons and returns. If you have multiple coupons on your account (not including Kohl’s cash) you are now only allowed to use one. In the past, you were able to use multiple coupons. Their returns policy used to be outlandishly never-ending to now 180 days.

    I bought a belt a little over a year ago and just from daily wear & tear it has ripped and I already need a new one. With the new returns policy and cheap material used in their products, I guess I’d be paying $30 a year for a belt. Obviously, a couple corporate bigwigs had a “think tank” session on how to budget better and of course the consumer always takes the hit and pays the price. Reduce coupons to just one and go from no expiration date on returns to 180 days. Yeah, let’s take away the few perks from the customer in these dreadful financial times with inflation at an all-time high. Kohl’s has now motivated me to shop as much as I can elsewhere just to not give them the business. Since I was out $30 on a belt after only one year, I had my eye on another belt they had but it was $32. I had 2 coupons but they now only accept one. I can no longer exchange like I have in the past, not even an exchange paying any difference for a higher priced belt.

    I decided to take my business elsewhere and bought a belt at a different store for $6.57. Even if this one lasts only one year at least I won’t be out $30. I encourage more people to do the same. It’s dirty pool to strip away the few perks we had as loyal Kohl’s customers. There are many creative ways for a company to seek out to try and save money without affecting the customer. Budget decisions that affect the customer is just a lazy and common approach by most businesses these days. Kohl’s could have set themselves apart from the rest of the greedy corporate businesses but they decided to join them instead.

    One last note regarding their 800 customer service line, Kohl’s too has joined the rest of American corporations in outsourcing their customer service to somewhere in the Indian Ocean. I spoke with a representative on the phone recently and could not understand most of what they were saying. Communication was always held to the highest standard when it came to customer service for corporations. Today these corporations don’t care who answers their phones, as long as they can do it on the cheap.

    Had trouble making a payment online. So showed payment missed. Paid the amount the next month and looked at payment history and had never been late or missed a payment. CS AGENT closed account WITHOUT my permission due to language barrier. Filed a BBB report and got a response from Capital One saying "closed by consumer". Which is not true. Tried again and got the same canned response and no help. Good riddance. Their sales are a joke anyway.

    My experience with Kohl's online makes me not want to even have dealings with their in-hand shopping. Not only did not receive my orders that they messed my address up on and then chose to intercept my order even though I requested that they left my order alone after speaking with them about the situation. Customer service literally sucked and was a form of carelessly rude to the point my frustration had me in tears!     This is now the 4th time Kohl's has sent me a letter saying I am past due in payments. I haven't seen or used this card in 2 almost 3 years. I have spoken to their fraud department 4 times and they have gone through the transactions and none of them are mine. They are saying majority of purchases are for men's clothing. I AM A SINGLE MOTHER! I have no reason to buy men's clothing! I also recently found out in my county there was a major hack involving all citizens and a bank account was opened with my social security number but apparently Kohl's doesn't care my information was stolen and somebody has been using my card. They keep saying because it's online transactions, that's where information is stolen from. They are demanding I pay $600.00 in fraud charges, today I found out they even called my parents demanding payment. They keep up this harassments I will be seeking legal action. I am not paying $600 in charges I did not allow.

    I submitted an online order to Kohl's for a pair of shoes and when I received my order confirmation I noticed the system changed the Clark's shoe size from a 10W to a size 5. I called customer service & they stated that sometimes when an item is out of stock the system will change the size to what is in stock. They said the item was in fulfillment & could not be cancelled. The item had not yet shipped so I don't understand why it couldn't be cancelled but they kept telling me it couldn't. I live 2 hours from a Kohl's so my only option is to ship them back but that would cost me money. They refused to send me a return shipping label.

    Kohl's mistake is going to cost me money to return something I did not order. Over 2.5 hours on the customer service line going in circles listening to their scripted responses & finally the 5th person said they will put $8.95 on my card to cover the shipping cost but would not provide me with a postage paid return shipping label. He also said he could not provide me with an email confirmation of this refund. It is going to cost me more than this to return the shoes as postage costs have increased if I even get the $8.95 refund. Horrible customer service, horrible Kohl's policies. Bottom line: Kohl's error is costing this customer money. I will no longer be a customer of Kohl's.

    I received a gift card for Christmas in very early December. I went to Kohl 's website and ordered 2 items totaling $55.86. The gift card was for $50 thus only $5.86 was charged to my personal bank account. The merchandise dropped off the face of the earth so I called Kohl's on 12/8 and was told that within 7 days my bank account would be credited $5.86 and within 7 days I would receive another $50 gift card. Today 1/18 I received 2 letters from them each containing a merchandise credit card. I went online to use them and kept getting a message that there was a problem. I called these inept people back again and was told one card was for $34.98 and the other was only for $6.07.

    Apparently they cannot add as this does not total $50. I was then told they would reopen my claim and in at least 30 more days I would get a gift card for the correct amount! These people not only are not good at speaking/understanding English but cannot process refunds/credits or add either. Even if they did it correctly this time, it would be at least the end of February! They seem to have no problem taking your money but have a big problem returning it. Kohl's is not worth it as evidenced by this experience in attempting to cheat a customer!

    I ordered a $200 leather coat on Dec. 18th as a Christmas gift for my mother from Kohls.com, I paid an extra shipping fee for expedited delivery before Dec. 25. The morning after ordering I received an e-mail stating my order had been shipped and would be delivered on Dec. 21. I took that e-mail at face value. Fast forward to Dec. 21 and my delivery never showed up, so after checking the tracking I find that my order was never even picked up by UPS. I then call Kohls customer support and I am told that my order was not shipped because it was out of stock. I never received any notification prior to this that my order was not on its way. I ask to cancel the order and be refunded in order to try to rush out and buy a gift at the last minute. I am told by the Kohl's representative that it will take 6 days before I am able to cancel the order and I will have to call back in order to do so, then after that it will take 7 days to process the refund.

    Basically Kohls sold me an item under false pretenses as they never had the inventory that they charged me for and now they are holding my $200 and it will be at least 3 weeks from the day that I made my purchase before I can get my money back. At this point I'm not even sure that I will get a refund. This is company that engages in fraudulent practices. I have a feeling that they do this intentionally as means to falsify revenue reports as they are holding customers money for inventory that they do not have nor intend to ship. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!

    I left this review with Kohls.com and was told it was moderated and would not be published. So much for honest feedback on their site. Poor online ordering experience. Couldn't log into my account because the system was down, so I had to check out as a guest. Then they sent the wrong color and am given only option to return it online. No option to communicate with someone online to fix it so I had to go out to the store (Jackson, MI). Once at the store there was no clear directions to returns so I went up to the checkouts right by the front door. They were not busy. 1 customer at check out and one just getting into line. As I walked through the door a cashier greeted me. I walked around the maze to get to checkout. There had been 3 employees discussing something and one checking out someone. I thought ah cool, np. I will be in and out in no time. I was wrong.

    1 of the 3 other employees that has been discussing something came over and opened a second line. BOTH cashiers were painfully slow and both started having issues with items ringing properly. It was only after standing 15-20 minutes waiting for them to finish at least 1 order, a manager came up to help them. As she came though glancing over at me with my package with shipping info on it she told me returns were in the back. So I go back to returns and the only thing they can do is return the item and reorder the right one since it isn't in stock at the store. Would be fine except it was a sale item and I have to pay full price for the reorder and if I want the price difference back I would have to wait for the full priced shoes to come in, then take them back to the store again for a refund and re-ring. I live 15 minuets from the store. There is no way I am wasting all that gas because you couldn't send me the right shoes in the first place. I returned the shoes and won't be shopping there anymore.

    Ordered two candles and a toy. 2 GLASS candles. They were shipped in a large box 2 glass candles and a toy...NO PROTECTIVE WRAPPING- no bubbles, no crushed paper, NOTHING. The candles arrived shattered, obviously, and because of that damaged the toy as well.     Kohl’s is a notorious company that engages in price penetration. This is completely an unethical pricing strategy in which a company promotes discounts during holiday seasons and then cancels the items stating it’s out of stock but the same item will be available online for a different price. I ordered American tourister luggage on Nov 23rd during Thanksgiving sale and they have sent an cancellation email on 28th the Monday after the deal was expired stating item is no longer available. I called customer service and asked if they would price match as the item is available online and they said no, they no longer have that discounted price. Never expected this to happen from these guys. Will never ever shop again with them.

    This company engages in price skimming, which is an unethical pricing strategy in which a company charges a high initial price and then gradually lowers the price. Kohl's had a Lodge wok priced at approximately $69. On November 25th, I purchased the wok on Kohls.com for in-store pick up for approximately $55. However, by Monday, November 28, the price had been reduced to about $45. Although this company has a 14-day price adjustment policy, they do not uphold this policy.

    On 11-28-2022 @ 11.40 am. I was in the line to check out at Store #0769 Fresh Meadows Queens NY 11365. I Was called by cashier at # 4. I reached to the very nice polite respectful woman of color cashier. All of a sudden a mean and nasty supervisor (#13) rushed to the cashier "Don't take any customer, don't take any customer." I was already in front of the cashier and I clearly understand if an emergency arises and the cashier cannot check out. So I ask the Rude supervisor (a woman), "Could you please let me know what is my option since I am already here to check out my items." She totally ignore me with a mean and nasty attitude, leave me standing. All the other cashier was occupied. I am in retail for 20 years and my company would never tolerate this nasty woman. Also she was so mean and nasty to the cashier, she treated the cashier like a criminal. It's discriminations. She should not been tolerated to be a supervisor.

    Kohl's as a company is HORRIBLE. I've had a Kohl's card for several years and never miss a payment bc I am on autopay. I got a 30 day late on my credit so I called them and was escalated to a manager. She told me they had recently changed computer systems and It kicked a lot of people off of autopay and that she would have it removed and took away my late fee. Now they refuse to take it off stating I should have paid more attention. REALLY? Then why offer autopay if I have to check every month to make sure Kohl's system works correctly? HORRIBLE COMPANY.

    Kohl's is a great store to shop, most of the time. What I find very irritating and a lack of respect for customers, is that they choose to use an independent company for shipping/delivery, OnTrac. OnTrac does NOT deliver on the weekends at all. It is worse for us because we live in a rural area when FedEx and UPS can be the carrier and get our orders to us the next day or within 2 days without paying extra money. Kohl's does not give customers the choice of who, or how our orders will be delivered. Especially this time of year, the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays coming up and people are placing orders that need to have a dependable delivery in case an item does not fit and a new size must be ordered.

    The loss of 2 1/2 days is equivalent to NOT getting the wanted or needed item-by the time we get our package, the store will be sold out-it's happened many times. By the time we get the item and realize there's no time to re-order, the other web stores such as Amazon or Target, are sold out. (OnTrac has told me they do not work past a certain time on Fridays.) Now I remembered why it has been a year since I've ordered through Kohl's online.

    I have been enjoying this Kohl's for some time, they shifted the cash-out lane to the right hand side to make room for Sephora. But the incompetent front desk didn’t run my card right, charging and holding $139.61 twice, and then saying I only $22 credit available on my paid-off $300 kohl's card. I came into the store with the right amount of money and left with no merchandise because she's incompetent and resolving it with the credit line I’m thinking she might make the same mistake. I assume she’s supposed to confirm the purchases with the customer service line. The transaction experience felt irregular, where are her superiors?

    Tried to suss out why order with 35% off when using Kohl’s card was canceled the next day. Called and transferred 3x only to get to “leave a voicemail.” The “English as a Second Language” associates goofed everything up. First one relayed that I didn’t recognize the order, I told them I placed it. Third one wanted to put order through after I said NO several times. Every transfer had me giving same info, name, last 4 digits of SS#, and birthdate. Asked to talk to a manager, got the voicemail “busy with another customer, please leave message.” Nope, not going to play the game of wait around day in and day out for a call back. Cheap labor doesn’t equate to good service and losing customers will see another store chain close.

    I had the worst experience several weeks ago with the Kohl's in Miamisburg OH at Austin Landing. I was there to return items and walked up to the open, cleared window and the associate behind the counter was messing with a pile of clothes on the middle counter and looked at me and said, "You can clearly see I am NOT over there, I am over here!" I was so caught off guard, that it took me about 5 seconds to process what he just said to me, so I leaned over the counter and said, "What did you just say to me?" and he looked surprised and said, "I am over here if you want help."

    I looked at him and said, "I don't know who you think you are talking to, but you will not speak to me like I am a 12 yr old! Call your manager up now!" He said, "I didn't mean anything" and I told him, "I didn't give a **" and that his comment was rude and unprofessional and how dare he think he could speak to anyone like that. But the so-called "manager" was no better. Actually, she smirked when I told her what he said. I went off and walked back to the Amazon return area, and as I was walking by that manager I told her that his lack of empathy and response was why that store is going downhill fast. And then asked for her boss' name and # and she said I could look that up! Man, I went off again.

    This place has hit the bottom. If you employee people that leave this kind of mark on its customers, you can see why they are going under. I filed a complaint with the Corporate office but no one ever followed up. So with that being said... I will never step foot in that building again or another Kohl's. I will pay more for better service and take my money to Macy's. I have shared my experience on social media and encouraged others to shop elsewhere. If you allow your employees to behave in that manner then they will sink faster and hopefully close those doors.

    I have just encountered the worst customer service from the Kohl's customer service call center. They double charged 2 banks accounts paying the entire balance on my account twice. Then when I requested a refund from the account they fraudulently took the 2nd payment from, I was told it would take up to 4 weeks to receive a refund. After speaking with the supervisor, Carlos, he told me there was no supervisor above him to approve an expedited refund, due to Kohl's mistake, and repeatedly told me that he could not help me any further.

    If I could have selected ZERO STARS I would have! They don't deserve one. I order 3 pairs of the same shoes for the men in my wedding party, and only received 2 of them. No big deal, but I called to have the missing pair sent to me and was told they no longer have the size I need. So I asked to speak with a supervisor to find a way to get me what I ordered, and was told they would call me in half and hour....I waiting a week and never heard back. At which point I called them back AGAIN.

    I was finally able to reach a supervisor. They told me they had the shoes I order available in a different size. So I asked them to go ahead and send me a size up from what I order. They then told me they couldn't do that unless I signed up for a kohl's credit card.....So they messed up my order. Couldn't replace my order and couldn't even send me a different size....Now I have to take time out my busy schedule to go to a store to get a refund on the one they didn't send and return the others, because their customer service line could literally do NOTHING to help me resolve the issue they caused.....What the heck is a custom service line for if not to resolve issues like this....I will never be shopping at Kohl's again, and I will not recommend them to anyone!

    I was excited to order this potato ricer at a very good price with my coupons. I even got free shipping. I opened up the box and went to wash it when I noticed rust all around the rim of the bowl where the die sit. I called Kohls and they happily sent me another one out. This time, instead of a nice box with the ricer nicely packaged, I got an envelope that looked like it had been all over the country in the back of a truck. I opened it up and found no packaging around the ricer. The ricer once again had rust around the rim. I called again but this time I had to get a complete refund because they only allow a replacement once.

    They sent me another coupon plus a 25% off the item and an incident number reassuring me that all I had to do was call and order it via phone. What a joke, they claimed they can't verify me because they can't send me the code via my number that I have been using with them for years! This is after I gave them every bit of info that they wanted, last 4 of SS, last 6 of card number, my address, phone number and email address. I guess I should have read reviews because a lot of people are getting rusty potato ricers.

    I went to the Kohl's website and spent $150 on Gift Cards for my son's birthday. I was excited to get the "Kohl's Cash" which would have been $30! Their website tells how for every $50 spent, you earn $10 towards their cash to be used in store. I thought that was a fun way to get more for my money on a store he already likes. Yay! I waited for days and days. No E-cards, NO Kohl's Cash. NOTHING. Since I bought it on my account it obviously should have shown up there. Nothing. After 5 days I called. The lady on the phone told me based on my confirmation number she could tell I paid a 3rd party vendor. Kohl's had no way of seeing the purchase.

    After 60 VERY LONG minutes on the phone with her I got on the website and began a chat. The person there told me there was no proof of purchase on their end. Plus E-Cards Do NOT qualify for Kohl's Cash. I was baffled! I was like, whhaatt! I said, "I spent $150 at Kohl's for a gift card to be used at Kohl's yet he can't get the measly $30 bucks to be used there?" She said "Those are the rules and regs." Seriously, all of this for what! Well anyway... I asked "Who took my order? Who got my c.c. numbers from the Kohl's website?" She said "I'm not sure. Maybe a glitch but our website is very safe." Ya right! I'm furious! Scammed, right off of Kohl's so called safe website. Time to cancel that credit card. Do I call a lawyer?

    I’m seriously never one to complain or leave reviews but this was by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a online order. On 4/16/22 I placed a online order for shoes for my 3 year old, estimated delivery was 4/22/22. I received a notification saying the shoes could not be delivered because somehow the address was wrong and was informed I had 72 hour to call to confirm the right address to Lasership in order to receive the shoes. I called Lasership and was told they had no problem re-delivering the shoes to the right address but Kohl’s had to contact them with the right address. So my next step was obviously contacting Kohl’s.

    The customer service lady told me they could not change the address on their end and that they were going to have to cancel my order and ship it back to their Warehouse and I had to wait for a refund and then order the shoes again. Another week goes by and I still had no refund. I went decided to purchase different shoes from Dicks Sporting Goods because I was not going to take a chance by ordering again from Kohl’s after this experience. All of a sudden the shoes showed up at my house. I once again contacted Kohl's asking why I now received the shoes without any update since I was told the order was canceled and I was going to be refunded.

    The customer service employee said because of all the trouble they were still refunding me and sent the shoes as a gift/ apology for what had happened. It is now 5/3/22 and a refund has never actually been issued. I once again had to call Kohl’s customer service. They claim they see that a refund was in the system but actually never processed and they can’t issue another one in their system so now I have to physically bring in the shoes into the store to receive the refund and no longer get to keep the shoes. I was also told I had to bring in the shipping label into the store to receive the refund.

    I explained I did Not have the label on the package anymore because I was Told I was Allowed to keep the shoes. The customer service representative said no problem he would email me one and I still Have yet to receive it. I’m sure you can understand why I’m very frustrated with this company. I saved All of my screenshots conversations about this issue just in case to cover myself. I will Never order online anything from KOHL'S ever again. Going into the store in person tomorrow to hopefully resolve this HORRIBLE experience. I pray I can get my money back. Who knew just trying to order my daughter shoes would turn into a 18day horrible issue like this!

    This started in the end of March 2022. I pay off my credit cards off every month except... Let me explain. On around 2/14/22 I made an online purchase to use some Kohl's cash. The amount was very small $14. I totally forgot I made the purchase come March when the invoice amount was due. I mean absolutely forgot. No excuses, nothing! In five years I have never made a late payment, paid in full. I was and still am a great customer but yes, I am human. It was only recently that I also decided to go paperless. Oops, my mistake especially with Kohl's. Come April, my $14. charge was now $84.00 with late charges and oh, my squeaky clean credit report, not so much anymore. All that work and for $14 that I forgot, my credit dropped almost 100pts! I am livid.

    No phone calls until April, no emails until April and then they lock me out so I can't go online and find out what happened. I have to call, and speak with someone that said "I apologize" umpteenth times but to no avail. If I had not opted for paperless, I would have received my statement as a reminder and all would be well. No one can help me with the unlocking of my account! I am helpless and at their mercy. I have always enjoyed shopping Kohl's however I have little or no patience for a company that cannot assist me technology wise. Never mind apologizing, do something. Find out what happened and fix it. All I want to do is sign on... it keeps telling me that my credentials are invalid. HELP!!! There's a lot to be fixed here to become more consumer friendly.

    Kohl's stole more than 10.00 from me returning a pair of sneakers I bought online. I am not happy about this and will share wherever I can on social media. I will never return to their store again. I bought the sneakers online for 56.00. After picking them up, I decided to run into the store and use up my 10.00 Kohl's cash buying 2 small items and then paying the difference of 3.72. I had asked the cashier prior to ringing it up, if I return the sneakers, do I have to bring back the coupon items as well, in order to get my full refund. She said yes!!! She did not elaborate on how it works when using the Kohl cash dollars and that I would not get my full amount back.

    Well, to my horror, returning the sneakers and the 2 items yesterday, the manager had the nerve to tell me the 10.00 coupon was 'used up'. I said I don't want the trinkets, therefore trying to return the items so I can get my full refund back on the sneakers. They refused to refund me in full. So I took back my trinkets, which I ultimately don't want.

    Now I'm out nearly 15.00. They didn't even give me back my full tax amount on the sneakers. I got back 44.00 for the sneakers. Stuck with 2 crap items I didn't need or want, just to use up the 10.00 Kohl Cash. They completely rob people out of their money this way. For every person they do this to, they make money. They robbed me out of my money. This should be told to people prior to using your stupid Kohl's cash dollars, which is not a gift in the end. The lame manager let me leave the store fuming. I don't think this is legal practice for consumers. I will reach out to the Florida consumer division. They stick with this ridiculous excuse as a store policy which you don't know about until too late. On the receipt, it is actually too late once it is rung up.

    I had a Kohl's balance in October of 2020 of approx. $35, which I paid in full thru my bank on October 16th. The Due Date was October 18th. Since the 18th was Sunday, they did not get my payment until the 19th (Monday). They credited the payment but charged me a $15 late payment. I then went to Florida the next week for the winter. My mail was being picked up but not being read. I had no bills (or so I thought). Along about mid-January 2021, I got a voice mail from Kohl's about an unpaid balance. I knew I had no balance so I thought it was a scam call and ignored it, but they called again the next week. So I called back and lo and behold, it was Kohl's telling me my account balance of $15 was 3 months overdue. The rep on the line told me why, because I was charged a late fee and didn't pay it. I told her no one notified me until now (?).

    The bill had gone to my home address so I never knew I was charged the late fee. So I paid the late fee. But I tried to get the collections/accounting dept to call the credit bureaus since my credit score had tanked from 835 down to 705. They refused to do anything about it. I am just writing this to let everyone know this could happen. I was not notified I owed this money for three months. They waited three months before reaching out. It's really my mistake but their rule of not adjusting the problem is Draconian at best. Fair warning to everyone. Computers rule the world. I closed my Kohl's account and have not been back in their store since.

    KOHL'S offer 30% off for all veterans on veteran days was a joke and slap in the face. Everyone had a coupon for 30% off so how is that offering? My husband and I went there and my husband is 100% disable vet. I had a 30% coupon plus a couple more At check out Kohl's wouldn't give husband the 30% because I had one plus more. They used all my coupons but not the vet one. So to me this was a SLAP in face to all VETERANS and also this was their way of getting veterans to come into the store. You couldn't use both 30% off at same time but you can use one with others coupons. Doesn't make sense.

    Why bother with shopping Kohl's? Even before spring, polo shirts (cotton/poly, not pique), the shirts in my size (LT. Others buy them to offset any shrinkage) are out of stock. It's ridiculous. Mocknecks (Croft& Barrow) are no longer made in 2020. I have purchased many of these over 20 years. Now they are not available. If you can get their athletic shoes on sale, in your size but maybe not color, that's usually a bargain. Get two pair. Even candles are less available. I used to buy them and other things after Christmas with 30% off. Not much anymore. Covid changed things - or so it seems. But as others note, customer service in store is seriously lacking. And they won't find something for you from another location or warehouse and ship it to the local store. Merchandising is overstocked on racks, not simplified in a designated Clearance area. 30% is only good if you find something you need. It's why I shop some thrift stores now hoping to get lucky.

    Kohl's store, located at Arlington Heights, IL - return not used item on 12/19/2021, purchased online on Dec. 13, 2021: they've offered me for it $247.80 +$15.48= $263.29 merchandise credit card instead of amount $344.25 paid by Kohl's card with the order-receipt I gave to them. Kohl's cash from this purchase $60.00 will valid only from Dec. 25, 2021. Problem with return: I was first in line and, spent 60 minutes all together: customer service & Store Supervisor. The Supervisor spoke with Customer service on Kohl's credit card service to verify amount I've paid (no hold time), -on same day 12/19/21 for another 15min until I finally got promised with no receipt on hand that money will get back to my account with ref#...he provided to me.

    I've called to Kohl's Customer service myself, spoke with Customer service and their supervisor, but no one recall any return and credit under my account and was surprised what I was experienced in Kohl's store @ Arlington Heights: not proceed the receipt to my hand as usually, but took the returned item. I've again asked about my return today and any notes under my account. The Supervisor found the information, related my return, read it on his computer and said, he can't understood, why store not able to proceed a receipt. He can give me the proof of our conversation today and Incident ID, but not allowed to send email nor receipt, regarding credit amount of $344.25, which should be posted to my account in 7 business days.     I love Kohl's. Get just about anything you want but on the flip side of that I live over an hour from any kohls so I resort to online shopping and I have ordered from them in the past and had no issues. But my most recent order it appears they have contracted with a new company for shipping and here I am over a week after expected delivery and the app stating an attempted delivery to be told to call back 2 days in a row to sit on hold for 45 min so they can tell me they are trying to locate my package. I called kohls and they basically told me it was out of their hands I needed to call the shipping company so I've been getting a runaround for 3 days now. I'm over this and for this reason here I will be canceling my kohls credit card and boycotting kohls from this point forward. I can't even get real answers on what happened.

    Absolutely worst company ever!!!! They shipped my item without a shipping box/packaging, delivered to my house without any box covering the item. Worst part was the item was a gift and the person I was gifting it to saw it because it was shipped and delivered without a box!!!! This is also how people get their stuff stolen!!!! How can you ship orders without putting it into a shipping box or any type of packaging. The least you could have done was informed me the item will be shipped without a shipping box!     For the 2nd time now, I am being told they have not received my payment for my credit card. The 1st time, it was mailed over Christmas time. I wasn't made aware until the next billing cycle, when I noticed a late payment. Well.... too late, they had already sent it to the credit bureau. That was my 1st blemish in over 20 years. Now I'm being told they didn't record my payment that was made over their phone payment system. Once again.... I do NOT have these issues with any other cards or payments that I make. When I contacted their customer service, I was treated like a derelict. They had my MVP status and payment history in front of them. Too many issues and truly NOT worth it!

    I received my order, the box was the order I wanted, when I opened it, it was a complete different product, I got a used red Scorpion vacuum. I don't know how that happened. I never went thru this. I don't know what went wrong. The item was even scratched and well used, so not a shipping damage. I won't be buying electronics online anymore. I have had better experiences with kohls.com. This is my 2nd time trying to share my review and they won't post it. I have my freedom of speech rights.

    Getting BLM, Attorney General, Better Business Bureau and other relevant organizations involved along with a good law firm! This company is RACIST, DISGUSTING, discriminating, incompetent and should be ready for its worst PUBLIC relations nightmare!!! Anyone can have a bad day BUT I am saying this after speaking with 5 of their employees which INCLUDED two SUPERVISORS! I have never dealt with such horrible people and it is time to BOYCOTT Kohl's as a company and file lawsuits against them.

    It's sometimes hard for people of color to get credit... They took RACIAL ABUSE to a whole NEW level by reporting THEIR mistake as an error on my part and causing my CREDIT score to drop 57 points while I am looking at buying a home for me and my family! I have been trying to straighten it out for over 2 weeks and have had no success. My spotless credit is now in the tank due to their actions and anyone with a working brain cell in their head knows what an effect a drop of 58 points on a credit report does to a mortgage!

    One major screwup company. They used to be reputable carrying mostly first-class merchandise, until this pandemic. Now it's all way overpriced dollar store junk, and a messed up website return policy. I needed some new skorts (not skirts) as my local Goodwill, Target etc. no longer carry them, or they've out of stock. And I wanted to use my Kohl's charge. I ordered 4 knee length size 10 skorts on 8/30 and what I received on 9/3 were 4 denim mini skirts. I went to the website to do an easy return, and discovered that Kohls had changed that policy. Now you either have to visit a store OR spend an hour on the phone with their useless CS.

    I made a purchase online for $81. They gave me credit for a pair of flip-flops that I had returned of $25. I made a payment of $27. I went to pay off the card with the $81 purchase and they charged me $57. My math is 25 for the return and $27 for the payment leaves me owing $24. Nikki from the executive office said then I should have owed $57. Where did Nikki learn math? He has poor phone etiquette and doesn't listen to customers. I won't shop there anymore. This is fraud!!

    I bought an air fryer toaster. Doubled checked the measurements and ordered the $200 product. When it was sent to me they failed to include the measurements of the rubber pegs that sits on the base which made it impossible to fit into the space. Now I have to return it and because I do not live by a Kohl's. I have to pay the shipping fee back which is $56 that's close to 30% of the original purchase price. If you go on to their website they flash all over the place that returns or hassle free this is not the truth, very far from it. Now because they failed to properly measure their product I lose out on money. For big business this is extremely bad business.

    I placed a big order that was delivered on time. The same day my order was delivered, I ordered something else and it was CANCELLED, with no explanation. My consensus is that is because I used the Kohl's cash I had earned, which will be expired by the time it goes back on my account now, thanks to them cancelling my order. How convenient for them, so they don't have to honor something they claimed I earned with other purchases. I won't order anything else from them if this is how they operate. I have been on hold with customer service for over an hour now trying to get an explanation. Disgusted...

    I ordered three items from Kohls.com. and was charged for all three. But they only shipped me two of the three. I called customer service. After jumping through many hoops to finally get a live operator, she told me to wait another 10 days to see if the third item arrives. If not, she advised I call back again. I asked her to send me a tracking number by email, and she said they aren't allowed to use outgoing email. So the onus is on me to call them again if I don't get it, jump through all the hoops again, and then try to resolved. It's their mistake, but it's my problem, according to Kohl's. I won't shop there again.

    Would give them a zero - I’ve been a cardholder since 2012. Always paid on time - I do get my statements via email. Well back in April I got a call from Kohl’s said I’d missed a payment. (Only balance on my card was $12.07) I advised I hadn’t recalled seeing a statement and asked if late fee- she advised no late fee. I paid it went on about my business. Well I went to check my credit score, and it had went down because Kohl's reported late payment.

    My complaint is, Kohl's asks for every piece of information about me, dob, ss#, phone, address, they want to make sure they can contact me. However, when I try to contact them I get sent to Philippines, Dominican Republic, & Mexico. They’re not about to provide help or assist me. They sure didn’t pick up the phone prior to reporting my non-payment to the credit agency. They don’t want to give me a courtesy call they sure didn’t mind calling me in April letting me know I had a $12 charge. FYI just to let you know doesn’t matter if you have $1 million charge or a $10 charge your credit report shows a late payment. Lesson learned, again another company not caring about relationships all they care about is getting their money. Kinda ironic seeing all the trouble Kohl’s has been in lately.

    Every time I have ordered online from Kohls.com there is an issue. I ordered shoes for 2 of my kids. One pair was clearly used, and the other pair were different sizes. Today, I received my order for dresses to my son's graduation, the dress still has the ink clip attached so people can't steal from the store. Are you kidding me?? I am not wearing a dress to grad night with a huge tag on it. This is just 2 incidents recently.

    The stores are well-organized by department. Prices are on the racks, including sale prices. Returns are fast and easy - they can look you up if you do not have the receipt. Online is also well-organized and searching is intuitive. Kohl's Cash is easy to use, although you lose it if you make a return - I think that is an industry standard, though.

    Have been a customer since 2003. Have spent $1,000's of dollars here. Attempted to order a couple of pair of pants last night only to have the transaction denied. Conversation with customer service yielded no info besides "your account was closed in Feb due to 2 consecutive missed payments". Kind of interesting since I have a zero balance and hadn't used the card since December. Was getting nowhere so I decided to physically go into a store this morning. Explained what I was experiencing to the desk clerk who checked my card and told me that he wasn't able to determine what was what, but gave me a number to call (same customer service number). I sat in my car for the next 1.5 hours being asked questions and then put on hold numerous times only to find out that my card and account were closed in Feb of 2021 due to me filing for BK-13 over 3 years ago (BK was discharged in Nov 2020).

    During this time, my card has been used extensively and never an issue nor was there any delinquent payments (we pay off the bill upon receipt and sometimes even go from the register directly to the payment desk and pay whatever was purchased in full). The collector on the phone acknowledged this in between the numerous times I was put on hold so that she could "consult". She then came back online to quote "policy" that whenever a customer files BK, the account is automatically closed. I indicated that I had filed over 3 years ago and my Kohl's account was active and used during that time. She again repeated "policy".

    I asked, "Wasn't it also "policy" to notify a customer in writing whenever any action is taken on their account - after all, you notify me if you increase my limit." After another hold, she came back on to tell me that she would put in a request for a letter to me telling me that my account had been closed back in Feb of 2021, "but I can't guarantee that you'll receive it". As like others have said, I was offered to reapply for their card online or in a store. They have decided to let 18 years of good repay history go away because my filing BK-13 over 3 years ago - - which didn't affect them in the least bit - - by quoting "policy" and didn't have the decency to let me, the account holder, know of this action to my account, which was in good standing? I'm pretty sure that notifying your customer is policy also.

    Overall I like the ease of shopping online and either having it delivered or picking up at the store near me. Also when shopping it automatically shows you availability for your nearest store.     Hello, I would recommend Kohl's for their exception attention to details and quality of their jewelry department. My partner decided what he was going to give me for my 59th birthday???. A diamond ring???? which once I received it and noticed how perfect his choice for me was, I knew that he went to the right place to get it.     Kohl's is good when they offer discounts or coupons or promotional offers, but their regular prices are a bit higher than a lot of other stores. Their customer service and cashiers are not always that pleasant or helpful at times. I only shop there when I do have some sort of coupon, etc.

    Upon reviewing my credit scores the site revealed my Kohl's charge card was canceled. I have spent thousands of dollars through the years on purchases from this company only to have my account closed because I haven't been shopping as much lately due to numerous surgeries. I was told they will not reactivate my existing account, even though I didn't close it, and that I need to re-apply for another card at a store. Unbelievable! They just lost a dedicated customer. I'll never shop there again.

    I have been a long time Kohl's customer and try to shop during Kohl's Cash Rewards to get my money's worth b/c we all know Kohl's prices are over-inflated without their "sales" and the Cash is a bonus. Thus, I shopped during the last KCR and earned $40 KC from my shopping trip. The Cash expired in March, so I went online to spend it the day before it expired, but couldn't get my coupon to work. The next day, we had a record blizzard, which I knew was coming, so I called the store to explain my situation, and was was told by the manager that I would be able to use it later with no problem. I informed her that I didn't know when I'd be able to come in next and it could be a while, and she assured me they would be able to make an exception, as long as it's not months down the road.

    Well, I went in today (just over a month later) and spent a lot of time shopping. I took my purchases to the register and explained my situation, the manager was called over, and she would not accept my Kohl's Cash. She stated the grace period is 10 days. I told her I was informed differently, and she said she couldn't do it. I told them to cancel my purchase then and left. I am so annoyed by the contradicting information, loss of $40 and waste of my time. I will not be returning and Kohl's has lost a loyal customer to this nonsense and bad customer service. I am taking my business elsewhere.

    Kohl's is my go to for all my family members clothing essentials. They always have great deals, the latest selections and closeouts, closeouts, closeouts! If what they had a couple months ago is a style that still works for you it will be available at a reduced price. They carry my go to brands so why go elsewhere. One problem I have with all clothing stores including Kohls, no size 35 Waist WHY?

    Kohl's has gotten worse and worse. There are so many exclusions on the coupons and Kohl's cash - they should just let you know what you CAN use it on. Online experience is as frustrating as their antiquated store experience. If you like long lines, reading fine print and setting calendar reminders to get reasonable prices on average items, this is the place to go.
