Would give them a zero - I’ve been a cardholder since 2012. Always paid on time - I do get my statements via email. Well back in April I got a call from Kohl’s said I’d missed a payment. (Only balance on my card was $12.07) I advised I hadn’t recalled seeing a statement and asked if late fee- she advised no late fee. I paid it went on about my business. Well I went to check my credit score, and it had went down because Kohl's reported late payment.
My complaint is, Kohl's asks for every piece of information about me, dob, ss#, phone, address, they want to make sure they can contact me. However, when I try to contact them I get sent to Philippines, Dominican Republic, & Mexico. They’re not about to provide help or assist me. They sure didn’t pick up the phone prior to reporting my non-payment to the credit agency. They don’t want to give me a courtesy call they sure didn’t mind calling me in April letting me know I had a $12 charge. FYI just to let you know doesn’t matter if you have $1 million charge or a $10 charge your credit report shows a late payment. Lesson learned, again another company not caring about relationships all they care about is getting their money. Kinda ironic seeing all the trouble Kohl’s has been in lately.

Every time I have ordered online from Kohls.com there is an issue. I ordered shoes for 2 of my kids. One pair was clearly used, and the other pair were different sizes. Today, I received my order for dresses to my son's graduation, the dress still has the ink clip attached so people can't steal from the store. Are you kidding me?? I am not wearing a dress to grad night with a huge tag on it. This is just 2 incidents recently.

The stores are well-organized by department. Prices are on the racks, including sale prices. Returns are fast and easy - they can look you up if you do not have the receipt. Online is also well-organized and searching is intuitive. Kohl's Cash is easy to use, although you lose it if you make a return - I think that is an industry standard, though.

Have been a customer since 2003. Have spent $1,000's of dollars here. Attempted to order a couple of pair of pants last night only to have the transaction denied. Conversation with customer service yielded no info besides "your account was closed in Feb due to 2 consecutive missed payments". Kind of interesting since I have a zero balance and hadn't used the card since December. Was getting nowhere so I decided to physically go into a store this morning. Explained what I was experiencing to the desk clerk who checked my card and told me that he wasn't able to determine what was what, but gave me a number to call (same customer service number). I sat in my car for the next 1.5 hours being asked questions and then put on hold numerous times only to find out that my card and account were closed in Feb of 2021 due to me filing for BK-13 over 3 years ago (BK was discharged in Nov 2020).
During this time, my card has been used extensively and never an issue nor was there any delinquent payments (we pay off the bill upon receipt and sometimes even go from the register directly to the payment desk and pay whatever was purchased in full). The collector on the phone acknowledged this in between the numerous times I was put on hold so that she could "consult". She then came back online to quote "policy" that whenever a customer files BK, the account is automatically closed. I indicated that I had filed over 3 years ago and my Kohl's account was active and used during that time. She again repeated "policy".
I asked, "Wasn't it also "policy" to notify a customer in writing whenever any action is taken on their account - after all, you notify me if you increase my limit." After another hold, she came back on to tell me that she would put in a request for a letter to me telling me that my account had been closed back in Feb of 2021, "but I can't guarantee that you'll receive it". As like others have said, I was offered to reapply for their card online or in a store. They have decided to let 18 years of good repay history go away because my filing BK-13 over 3 years ago - - which didn't affect them in the least bit - - by quoting "policy" and didn't have the decency to let me, the account holder, know of this action to my account, which was in good standing? I'm pretty sure that notifying your customer is policy also.

Overall I like the ease of shopping online and either having it delivered or picking up at the store near me. Also when shopping it automatically shows you availability for your nearest store. Sometimes I find the selections shoes in particular versus in the store when I don't have a lot of time to shop.

Hello, I would recommend Kohl's for their exception attention to details and quality of their jewelry department. My partner decided what he was going to give me for my 59th birthday???. A diamond ring???? which once I received it and noticed how perfect his choice for me was, I knew that he went to the right place to get it. This is by far one of the most exquisite ring sets that I have seen!!! Flawless????

Although they offer many coupons, they overprice their merchandise to begin with and the discount only puts them a little more in line with other stores. But to be budget conscious, one must wait for a sale and then use the coupons, which only sometimes pays off.

Kohl's is good when they offer discounts or coupons or promotional offers, but their regular prices are a bit higher than a lot of other stores. Their customer service and cashiers are not always that pleasant or helpful at times. I only shop there when I do have some sort of coupon, etc.

Upon reviewing my credit scores the site revealed my Kohl's charge card was canceled. I have spent thousands of dollars through the years on purchases from this company only to have my account closed because I haven't been shopping as much lately due to numerous surgeries. I was told they will not reactivate my existing account, even though I didn't close it, and that I need to re-apply for another card at a store. Unbelievable! They just lost a dedicated customer. I'll never shop there again.

Kohl's is great for discounts, sales, returns, and they even allow you to return items purchased on Amazon. The discounts make items not on sale, seem like they are on sale. The quality of clothes and household items at Kohl's is excellent, and they sell major brands.

I have been a long time Kohl's customer and try to shop during Kohl's Cash Rewards to get my money's worth b/c we all know Kohl's prices are over-inflated without their "sales" and the Cash is a bonus. Thus, I shopped during the last KCR and earned $40 KC from my shopping trip. The Cash expired in March, so I went online to spend it the day before it expired, but couldn't get my coupon to work. The next day, we had a record blizzard, which I knew was coming, so I called the store to explain my situation, and was was told by the manager that I would be able to use it later with no problem. I informed her that I didn't know when I'd be able to come in next and it could be a while, and she assured me they would be able to make an exception, as long as it's not months down the road.
Well, I went in today (just over a month later) and spent a lot of time shopping. I took my purchases to the register and explained my situation, the manager was called over, and she would not accept my Kohl's Cash. She stated the grace period is 10 days. I told her I was informed differently, and she said she couldn't do it. I told them to cancel my purchase then and left. I am so annoyed by the contradicting information, loss of $40 and waste of my time. I will not be returning and Kohl's has lost a loyal customer to this nonsense and bad customer service. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Kohl's has gotten worse and worse. There are so many exclusions on the coupons and Kohl's cash - they should just let you know what you CAN use it on. First, everything they have a discount code, it automatically assigns you the discount. I usually get the 15% and never the 30%. Then, when you earn Kohl's Cash. You have to spend it within a few weeks of the initial purchase. Since I just made a purchase, I don't need anything else. The expiration or usage dates should extend further. Last, they decided to get political and will no longer carry MyPillow products because the owner had 'the nerves' to question an election most of us think is **. I was a loyal Kohl’s customer for many years. I had a Kohl's credit card I used infrequently but had always paid my full balance. I divorced and moved but forgot to change my address. My ex did not forward the bill and I had a <$30 charge on the account. After 2-3 months I was checking online and noticed the delinquency and paid immediately. I called Kohl’s the next day and was told I could send a goodwill letter asking for forgiveness and likely they would forgive the delinquency and remove it from my credit report because of my good history, the small amount and the circumstance (divorce/address change). I did that but got a terse reply stating they had no obligation to change anything and the delinquency would stay on my credit report. I called again and was treated rudely.
My otherwise stellar credit rating has one blemish since over some stupid tennis shoes that cost about $28. I have shredded my credit card since and will never purchase from Kohl’s again and take every opportunity to dissuade friends and family from shopping there. This is already a net loss for them of thousands or tens of thousands of dollars over a $28 bill that I actually did pay once I was aware. This is how they treated loyalty and this is why they don’t have mine any longer.

Today I felt well enough to call customer service and was told there is nothing they could do. It's too late to do a return, no exceptions. CONSUMER ALERT! Ordered a Roomba online and was charged to my Kohl’s credit card $390. Over the course of the following weeks, I received emails stating that I received $105 Kohl’s cash for that purchase; however, it needed to be used prior to expiration. On the last day of expiration, I received multiple emails stating I should use my bonus Kohl’s cash before it expired that evening. Being practical, I thought I would purchase an ironing board. I was shocked to find it cost $100. Their ad stated it would be 30% off. When I went to order, my Kohl’s cash would not accept the discount. I paid $105 in Kohl’s cash (advertised to me as bonus money) plus charged to my credit card was $11.95! Why? Because, I had to pay shipping of $8.95 due to the Kohl’s cash and the additional sales tax!
Right before Christmas, I learned the roomba I purchased was not the one I thought and was over-priced (based on local competition). I had not opened either item. I took both purchases unopened and both receipts to the local Kohl’s store. I was told I could only have $265 returned to my credit card! I could have $105 in Kohl's cash to use in the next 30 days. Excuse me? I’ve paid $401. You will credit me $265? And, $265 plus $105 does NOT equate to $401. Why? Kohl's does not return tax on Kohl's cash purchases! They were rude, told me it’s how their system works. It’s because I used the Kohl’s cash. I explained I did not ask for the Kohl’s cash. It was in their persistent email/ad that I made any effort to use it at the last minute.
But, most importantly, both items unopened and both receipts are returned to Kohl's within weeks and my Kohl's credit card bill has not even been due yet. But, THEY WILL NOT RETURN MY FULL CREDIT. AND, doesn’t the government understand or all consumers, THEY DO NOT RETURN SALES TAX ON KOHLS CASH PURCHASES. HOW IS THAT LEGAL?!?
I went home, made my best effort to reach someone at corporate. No one responded to emails. I reached someone online who told me that I was correct. In short, he said, if I have both items unopened and both receipts, I receive full credit on my Kohls credit card. We went to the other local Kohl's store. The manager would not come to the service desk and discuss with us. The girl at the desk was told to tell us the people online do not know how things work. I asked for a number to reach corporate. She gave me a phone number. It was generic. I reached with pushing buttons a ‘refund inquiry’ department. On hold, over and over, the message was ‘we follow our return policies. Your return may only come as Kohls's cash. 'Hmmm...'
After 30 minutes on hold, when asked how he could help me, I began my story. He told me he only works with thefts. He’d send me to the executive office to leave my name and number. This time, the phone answered immediately to nothing but a voicemail to leave a name and number, then, click. I left my name and number. Never heard from them. This is a BIGGER ISSUE THAN ME. CONSUMER ALERT!

My issue started when I went online to make an order. At the conclusion of the order everything was approved and I received the confirmation email. 2 hours later I received an email saying my order had been cancelled, but no explanation to why. I assumed there was an issue with my card so I made the order again using a different card. Same story. Confirmation email, delay, order cancelled with no explanation. I had a gift card from Kohl's so I just went to the store and made a purchase of a similar item. I received Kohls cash from my purchase, yaay! So at the designated time I AGAIN went online to make an order of different items (it's Covid-19 out there so I'm trying to stay online vs in person, but Kohls makes it too hard).
AGAIN the order using Kohl's cash went through and then cancelled so I AGAIN went to the store. She called a manager that explained that the Kohl's cash would take 2 days or so to reload, but they gave me a customer service # to call. I called the number, the agents transferred me around and eventually made my order with a confirmation # that did not get cancelled. This was on Nov 29th.
On Dec 2nd I received an email saying my entire order had shipped! GREAT! WELL today is Dec 21st and I STILL have not received the order. Called customer service who could not tell me anything and she transferred me to a .com rep who said my order was scheduled for delivery between Dec 3rd-Dec16th and they could not do any research until 12 days AFTER Dec 16th which will be Dec 28th and a MONTH after making my order. Since Nov 29th I have ordered online from Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Best Buy, etc and have already received those orders. What are they doing that Kohls.com is not? Later I placed an order for less than $100 they cancelled this too. I placed two orders again today they did the same again.
When I reached out to customer care their answer is 'the department who knows why the order was cancelled is not available, call them tomorrow'. This is the experience when I am trying to buy things, I don't want to even think about returning something to this company, they might make me spend a month to get details to return and then deny it saying that a month has already passed. Never buying anything from this company ever again.

Do not use their credit card. They say they sent you a statement, but they don't on purpose so they can collect a exorbitant late fee. When they called to tell me I was late, I paid it in full ($50 + $35 late fee). They still sent it to the credit bureau, which brought my otherwise excellent credit rating down and cost me $8,000 when I went to buy a house. You can NEVER reach anyone that can help you resolve any issues. I spent 2 hours being transferred from one unhelpful person to another to another. The final person promised to send me a fax to clear up the issue with our lender. She lied, never sent anything. I repeat, never use a Kohl's credit card. I made my payment on time. I waited for the card. It never came... The $60 Kohl's Cash that I had expired and they refused to re-issue it for me to use. Do you know how much you have to spend to get $60 Kohl's cash? A lot of merch.
I called Kohl's today to state that I still didn't have my card and that my account went up $50, which means they didn't credit my account. The money is out of my account but no credit to my balance. I was told... wait for it... that they would have to re-issue my credit card. I asked if I had fees associated because I have not seen a statement. I have e-bill, so I have to log into my account, which nobody will help me do. So they keep taking my money, not crediting my account and tacking on interest and late fees! How is this legal??? Each time I call the rep starts off nice then you hear snickers in their voice. Like, "HA HA. I'm going to really screw you." Well, I asked to have the card closed and if need be will take this to a higher lever than BBB. Not crediting a credit card balance when you are taking the consumer's money is ILLEGAL!!!!

Since it had been more than 30 minutes I couldn't cancel online. I called and The Kohl's rep said to refuse the FedEx delivery when it came as that was the fastest way to get refunded. I did that about a week later. 10 days later I called Kohl's as I had not been refunded and they said I had to wait another 7 to 10 days for them to confirm the item was in received back. 10 days later still no word from Kohl's or refund, I called them again and they said the same thing I had to wait another 7 to 10 days that they had the item but they were processing my return.
10 days later I called the corporate office to be told they had an issue with the refund and she had to put in a special ticket request and was sure I would get my refund within 10 days. Today I called the corporate office of Kohl's to be told that my refund was delayed as Kohl's had not been refunded by the vendor they bought the tube from! And it’s sad not once person chose to do their job and help answer my question. Beyond words frustrating and annoying. Poor customer service really makes me rethink who to give my business to. There’s clearly a huge glitch in Kohl's system that needs to be addressed and fixed. You purchase an item it shows up as one number then you do a return and it shows up as another number.
For example 6/17/29 4:52pm Millbury, Ma misses swimwear $35.99 numbers ** on original receipt 6/15/20 5:58pm Millbury,Ma misses swimwear **. Then again 3 more. 1. misses swimwear returned ** $29.99 purchases number ** 2. return ** and 3. ** $38.99 purchased numbers ** and ** and junior bottoms returned ** $17.50 purchased **. So it’s more than one store so it’s not even linked to just one store. Then another issue is two returns coming in other than the total on the receipt. What is going on? This is beyond confusing and doesn’t make sense and makes it hard to keep track and to know if it’s all done accurately. They need to fix this yet they don’t seem to care or want to.

I contacted Kohl's. They said I needed to send my credit information to either a fax number or a physical address. I asked that they note my account so I didn't have a negative mark on my credit report since I was actively working with them regarding a $35 charge that I thought I paid. Bank account showed paid and I gave them the info. They said they could not. I decided to mail it because I could get delivery confirmation. I received a letter back saying that my credit report was accurate. I am trying to figure out where my payment went and nothing about my credit report at this point.
I called Kohls again. This time I got a different response. After 3 months of getting bad information from Kohls representatives on who I needed to send my bank account information to and what information they needed, we finally figured out what the problem was. I paid the account. I then asked Kohls to update my credit report because I had perfect credit before this. They denied the request through the mail.
I called back asking why would they damage the credit of a long time customer all over $35 especially since I had actively been working with them doing everything they told me to do. The customer service agent said the decision was final and they could not reverse the negative credit on my credit report because it was late. If they had a decent payment processing staff to resolve the issue sooner, I would not have been 3 months late! Don't do business with Kohls or get their credit card. I then realized the shipping address was incorrect even though I made updates to the account. Called Kohl's because only 5 of my 13 items were already issued a tracking # and all thos 5 items had the same tracking # and none of the items were picked up yet by UPS. I got a representative in the Philippines, states nothing she can do. I asked to speak with a Manager/Supervisor, waited but the Manager/Supervisor sounded like the same person who stated nothing she can do. She told me to call UPS myself, I asked if she could call.
While waiting, I contacted UPS who already told me they haven't picked up the package and only Kohl's can fix the problem. She told me she cannot make outbound calls so I asked her to transfer me to a representative in the USA. She did and the rep in the USA told me the same story but this time he called UPS. This is a long review but it gets interesting. Now on the phone is Kohl's rep, UPS rep and I. The UPS rep stated, package wasn't picked up by UPS so Kohl's need to issue/create another label. Kohl's rep said he can't, UPS rep asked if he's sure he's from Kohl's or is he evading the cost to reprint another label because order is still incomplete and UPS haven't pick the order up. I then interrupted and stated this doesn't sounds good with both party going back and forth and no resolution.
Asked to speak with a Kohl's manager, interestingly, the UPS rep was disconnected and as usual, the Manager is on a call and no idea for how long and I cannot be kept waiting on the line. I was then told as a courtesy, he will issue a refund. I asked, can't you just resubmit a new order? He told me the new order will still be shipped to the old address even though the address was changed, How Strange. I asked, what happens to this current order now, he said don't worry about it. It took me over 1 hour to get some resolution and if I wasn't persistent to have them call UPS, I would be going back and forth until the shipment leave their facility and they would not have issued the refund.
The shipment was incomplete and still at their facility. They will create a label for at least one item so the order looks like it was picked up or whatever their method was. Now I can't even reorder my items because the promotional code expired and another rep told me, the discounted items could not be honored and I would have to pay full price. The kohl's rep said I would receive an email confirming this before end of call.
I then check my email, nothing. I told him, he said, his screen is all gray so I cannot resend email but will document my account, finally with my persistent I got some reference number after he finally sounded to start typing and documenting the account. 5 hours later and no email so waiting to see if credit will be applied. If not, I will be calling my bank to intervene with this charge. I will never order from Kohl's Again. Also, I did see recent post on this website that was posted 4 days ago with the same issue. I love Kohl's for their great deals, selection, and fast free shipping, but was disappointed with this order. I received a humongous box used to ship the sunglasses (see boxes in photo). I'm glad they didn't use bubble wrap as an added waste, but the glasses, which may be somewhat fragile, must have been bounced around loosely in the box during delivery. A much smaller shipping box would have been more secure and sufficient. The shipping box had a rip-off tab to open and wasn't ideal for reusing either, so I recycled it.
All companies, especially large ones who ship often, need to strive to be environmentally conscientious in this time of public awareness about the environment. I no longer buy expensive sunglasses, because I always lose them. Regarding the sunglasses, which haven't been worn yet, I'd rate 4 stars for what seems like good quality, UV400 lenses, and suitability for most outdoor occasions with 1 star deducted for stylishness. I got a good deal on them using Kohl's cash.

They said: the only way to return a purchase is by coming into the store. They are making people risk their lives in order to get refunds. We are in the vulnerable age group and feel that Kohl’s is profiting from the virus by only allowing risky in-store returns that they know people in my age group won’t make.
When we are all told to hunker down to stay safe, Kohl’s should not be exploiting their customers’ safety in order to make a buck! And since when does a national retailer revise its return policy immediately after one has just made a purchase???? This is really unacceptable behavior for a national chain, don’t you think. Businesses who try to take advantage of customers during a pandemic must be boycotted. Say NO to Kohl's.

First of all, their main call center is not here in the US...It's in the Philippines. I ordered a pair of Levi's...spent almost $60. Shipped to my home, they were not true to size...waaay too big. So now, I have to pay the penalty...I either have to ship them back...cost on me or return them to a store. I don't have a car, it's going to cost me a good $20 to return them in person. What's the point of ordering from Kohl's when you can order online a pair of Levi's from so many other places and not have to absorb this cost. So thank you Kohl's...now I know that I can never order from you again.

I must share an awful experience with Kohl’s. I had a $15 charge for my February bill. I paid the bill not only on time, but early, and in return they robbed me of $16 for a late fee and interest charge because they said the payment was rejected...from an account that managed to go through when they took double for the late fee and interest!
Hmmm. I have paperless billing, but they sent a letter notifying me of the payment issue 4 days later through the U.S. mail so there was no chance I’d get it before the due date...wouldn’t you think an email would be the way to communicate for a paperless account??? And why a confirmation code for the payment if it was an “invalid account number”? They couldn't answer any of that and couldn’t waive the fee, but would credit it to my account later if they decided it was appropriate. As I will never shop at Kohl’s again and closed the account, a credit does me no good! Beware of Kohl’s and their SCAM billing processes!!

I was very pleased and amazed at the same time with the efficiency of the online process especially for in store pickup. They made it so easy for me to search their website by category browse through the items to get what I want in a matter of a couple hours. The checkout online process was also very nice and easy. You can apply multiple coupons and promo codes on the order. I would highly recommend Kohl's. Great store with great promotions and organized online for in store pickup as well as items being shipped to me.

I will NEVER shop at Kohl's ever again!!! On Thursday, January 23, 2020, I had the most miserable experience trying to exchange three pairs of pants for smaller sizes of the same identical model at the Mays Landing, NJ store. The associate seemed confused from the outset, and at least three times asked which pairs I was returning when one set of three pairs of pants had no tags and were clearly worn, while the others still had all the store tags attached.
One pair of jeans (Levis 514) I exchanged once before because Kohl's didn't stock my size. The sale price was $39.99. When I first exchanged them it was a hassle free even trade. Yet the second time I exchanged them for an even smaller size the associate was confused and wouldn’t accept my receipt or couldn’t find the same jeans on the computer. The return was processed as not having a receipt and a temporary refund of $41.70 was issued. However, I was then charged $69.50 minus $3.50 in Kohl’s cash for a total of $66.00 for the same identical jeans with a waist size one inch smaller! An overall increase of $26.01 from the price I originally paid!!!
For the next pair I exchanged (Levis 559) I also originally paid $39.99, and also received a refund of $41.70 taking away $5.00 in Kohl’s cash for a final refund of only $36.70. I originally paid $79.98 for the two pairs (2 x $39.99) and received a refund for only $78.40 ($41.70 + $36.70), a loss of $1.58. This second transaction worked out in my favor and after applying $1.50 in Kohl’s cash the discounted price was brought down to $28.25, a savings of $11.74. Again, I was exchanging the same identical pants for a smaller size!
The third exchange went smoothly because they were Kohl’s Urban Pipeline brand and I didn’t have to wait as the associate clumsily looked for a matching code number. Once totaled, I lost $27.59 ($26.01 + $1.58) and gained $11.74 for an overall loss, on what was an even exchange, of $15.85. This exact difference is reflected in the increase in the balance of my Kohl’s charge account from $69.95 to $85.80 although I made no purchases other than this “exchange”.
Lastly, I initially returned a pair of slippers I received as a Christmas gift without the receipt and received a paltry fraction of the original price ($5.00 and change). While still at the counter I was able to find the receipt buried in my wallet and received a refund of the full purchase price of $16.49. These needless transactions took well over 20 minutes and backed up the line of customers so much that a third associate had to be called to wait on those impatiently waiting. This is unacceptable! Kohl’s advertises “Hassle-Free Returns”, but their handling of a simple exchange was a bungled disaster! Not only will I never shop in Kohl’s ever again, I will also post my experience on Facebook for my 1,600+ friends to read as well as the Kohl’s official page. Lastly, I am cutting up my Kohl’s charge, paying it off, and closing my account. Thanks for the misery and your not so low prices. I’ll shop at your competitors from now on.

She wouldn't say anything but it was available at the store. I live 4 hrs. away so that is why I shopped online. I hung up and called again and got a woman who cancelled the order and then reordered it for me. I eventually got the toy (after Christmas) which was a huge disappointment. She told me the items were excluded however it said none of such in the exclusions. I got frustrated and hung up. Today I spoke with supervisor Ann, whom was just as rude. I wanted to exchange the pants for another size. Her response "That's why when you order online you have to make sure you can fit it!" How dare you? I asked for someone over her. She said ok and places me on hold for 20 mins (I guess waiting for me to hang up). Well I've worked in a call center environment at a Department store. I know that if you place a customer on hold you'll get hold music. If you push mute then.... well I was on mute for 20 mins.
I call corporate and spoke with Paula whom was just as rude. At this point, I don't want a discount because I'll never order or shop with them again. I wanted to exchange my pants (I love Adidas). I was told I would have to drive over an hour away to exchange them because that's their exchange policy. No resolution whatsoever. I mean a return label or anything would've helped except $5 when I have to pay $30 for gas. What about my inconvenience? Oh wait she offered me 100 bonus yes you are points which is $5.
I have never in my whole entire life ever experienced this level of unprofessionalism, non compassionate, unhelpful, and undermining service from a department store. If corporate operates in this level, I see why the "supervisors" were unphased. Shop at your own risk and "Make sure you can fit the clothes you order online!" Never had a problem with the many Adidas clothes I've purchased so I know my size.

I have issue twice with Kohls online ordering and I lost $350 with this company all together. 1st time I order online $50 gift card for Mother's Day and emailed to my mother in law. She never received it. I was in moving process and was not able to call right away. I called Kohls customer service, and they told me, they can resent me. I told I will get in a month. I waited for a month and called them, they said I should wait a week more. I waited 3 weeks. Now, they are telling me they can only email to Original email address. I told them it is not active. They said they can't do anything because it is not 6 months. Is this my fault that their system suck and customer service agent don't know what to do.
I placed recent order online, I made sure I updated my new address correctly, they still send order to old address. I received notification, so I called them again right away, and customer service agent is telling me they cannot do anything. As my account shows both address, they sent to wrong one. I should go to old address and collect my items. Are they out of their mind? This time my order is $300. I need my money back on any reason.
I cannot believe how insane their support is. I did shopping same time with JCPenney, Lowes, Home depot, and Maceys. I don't have any issue. I had shipping issues with Lowes and Home depot as my address is not in Google map yet. They simply arranged pick up for me in nearby store not like Kohls telling me they can't do anything.

Fellow Kohls shoppers, BEWARE! I You are nothing more than a number. I say this as I have been a loyal customer for upwards of 20-years and a cardholder for nearly as many. Without prior notice from Kohls, my account was closed and reported to the credit agencies. Their direct and voluntary action, caused my credit score to drop substantially. As you know, your credit history is a huge variable in the way you are viewed by all the credit agencies. Kohls has no trouble soliciting me daily via email, but they claim that a call or email regarding their intent was not their responsibility. That's simply bad business!
When I contacted them, they flat out refused to rectify their reckless action. Imagine this; You are loyal for life only to be tossed aside like fiddler. Sounds like no good deed goes unpunished. This is truly a people issue not a policy issue! In this electronic age, we have many choices about where to shop. I cannot in good conscience, do business with a company that disrespects me and treats me like a number without regard for the detriment they have wittingly caused. Remember, we all have a choice where we do business. Happy Holidays.

Like many others, I had the unfortunate experience of not catching an old address on an order I placed. When I called for help, simply said too bad, absolutely nothing they could do to help. I called UPS and they confirmed that indeed Kohl’s was the only way to fix the problem... all they needed to do was create and submit a new shipping label. Easy. I’ve been a faithful Kohl’s customer and credit card holder for 15 yrs. No longer. They lost my business for such hands off way of doing business. Kohl’s said that I should call the people at my old address and ask them for the package. How the hell would I even know them?!?!

I spoke to SNOW who said she would refund my credit card the difference of the sale price after speaking to a manager. So I place the order then I get an email from kohl's stating an inquiry was submitted to customer service dept on my behalf. I then get another email stating they can't make price adjustments and thanks for my understanding. I respond by asking then why did the customer service rep say she personally was refunding my credit card the difference?! HORRIBLE customer service and I'm returning my order so they won't get any money at all for my purchase. You don't want to honor your word?? Then you get nothing at all. I placed an order on Friday online. And Received a delivery date of Sunday December 1st. Needless to say I did not receive my order on that day and now I'm being told that I have to wait until Tuesday to receive my order. After placing the order I had plans to take my family to Disneyland for 3 days. I paid for the tickets already and now I'm finding out that I can't return those tickets and because I have to wait an extra 2 days for the package I won't be able to use them.
As a disabled veteran I do not feel like a valued customer and when I call customer service at no point in time did they represented listen to anything I had to say. She kept talking over me and cutting them all when I was trying to explain to her something very simple. I ask, "I was given a delivery date of Sunday. Why did it change?" Instead of heart given me an answer she pretty much top over you in and yelled at so between the customer service experience and the online shopping experience I will never ever use Kohl's again and I will be spreading the word to all of the veteran organizations that I work with to not use them as well due to the treatment that I received.

BEWARE! It gives me no pleasure to rate this card with no stars. The store and prices are great and having the card has additional benefits for points and pricing but the credit service itself has major issues. At the Kohl's cash register when checking we were checking out, we were encouraged to apply for the card, we were immediately approved, used the card right then for the additional cost savings and because we had the cash on hand decided just to go ahead and pay the amount charged to the card right then on the spot and not receive a bill later.
All seemed well until sometime, a week or so later, we received a call from someone saying they were with Kohl's asking for additional information (again card already approved and used) including a SS#. I refused to give that over the phone for fear of someone attempting identity theft etc. (something that had just happened in a big way to a close relative), and was told that we could present the info next time at the store. OK, we said that would be fine. Well, we sometime later received a letter in the mail asking for the same information and at this point decided it safe enough to send this info via email but first called to confirm that this was indeed Kohl's and to make sure we understood the exact documents required. I got off the phone and sent it immediately.
Next time we went to the store we were told the account had already been closed (and reported to credit agencies), and although irritated, wondering why the woman on the phone didn't tell us the account had already been closed (a further indication that they don't have it together and their incompetencies could cost you via a damaged credit reporting) and there was nothing we could do about it (after a half an hour at the store on the phone with the credit services department, with the assistance of the store cashier who was quite nice and empathetic), but was encouraged to simply open a new one, right then. We applied and were denied. WHAT??? OK. Whatever, perhaps a bit later after the smoke has cleared on the initial closing idiocy we could apply, which we later tried online and were once again denied, or so we understood.
Turns out that account was actually open, which realized via a our own credit check as although we had received some letter in the mail from Kohl's, saying "your account has been closed," and another to the effect of "someone is trying to open an account with your info" and your card is being used fraudulently and will be closed. WHAT ACCOUNT??? We understood we had no accounts!!! SO.... The credit report now shows two closed Kohl's accounts which kills the credit rating we have been working to build after living out of the country for 7 years and not having much of a recent payment history for for this reason. I called several times and even wrote a letter which I finally GOT a call in reply to but was told, "there is nothing we can do about it, as it wouldn't be fair to others to clean this whole debacle from your credit"??? FAIR to who?
This exact thing has happened before because you didn't get the info you needed in the first place, although activated the card and then called and asked to confirm SS# for someone who wisely wouldn't give it you over the phone??? Kohl's do you see an issue here? Or not fair to those whose account was closed for non-payment??? Not our case but the report on the credit report could indicate this??? So... long story short... beware as the credit department is lost and it could really cost you via your credit report for no fault of your own other than caution with your personal information. If this has or does happen to you, I suggest that you do the same and report this to the BBB and secretary of state to minimally prevent this from happening to others and encourage kohl's, an otherwise great store, fix their issues.

Taking money from people account is not good especially when they are not aware of the charges even if the order is split up from the initial payment. It's not a good consumer satisfaction move at all. We as consumers must not be subjected to Kohl's ways of doing business. We expect to pay one time for the merchandise. Just because it's not available don't mean to charge a card more times to satisfy Kohl's bottom line of sales. Now our money tied up until preauthorization fall off 3-7 days really. I am very, very disappointed in Kohl’s today. I received an email about early Black Friday specials, so I went into the store to make a purchase. The price in the store was a lot higher than what was shown in the email, so I asked a store clerk about it, and showed her the ad on my phone. She did not seem to know why there was a difference either, so I decided not to purchase it there. On the way out of the store, I talked to another clerk, and she advised me that the early deals were for online purchases only, so I decided to leave and make the purchase online. (My fault. I guess I misread the ad).
When I got home, I went to the website to complete the purchase, and found that the item was no longer available. This was on Wednesday (for a Black Friday special that was supposed to run through November 29). The website said the item was out of stock and that there were no stores that had it within a 50 mile radius, so I called the store and was told that they DID still have them in stock. There was no way to order for store pickup though, since the website said it was unavailable. Unfortunately, I was unable to get to the store on Thanksgiving or Black Friday, so I could not get the deal.

During the greeting, it states that "Orders placed more than 30 minutes ago cannot be cancelled. It has been 2 minutes. I spoke with a representative, then a manager, who told me I CANNOT cancel an order nor change it, even though 30 minutes had not passed. I was told (And I will post the recorded conversations to social media, along with supporting screenshots) that "nobody" can cancel an order, even though it's going to be delivered to the wrong address. Where do I start? I purchased my mother a kitchen table/chair set online. Filled out the info billing, etc. not looking at the shipping because I assumed it was the same as billing unless you change it yourself. I don't know the time from when I purchased to when I received the email but they say it was after a 30 minute modify or cancel time frame. I checked my email and it showed the shipping address for a location I don't live at anymore and in a different city altogether. I then call C/S for help to change the shipping info and they state there is nothing they can do, but tell me all I have to do is call the courier and have them change the delivery location so I was satisfied until I called the courier and they state that it has to be the company and or shipper that can modify the shipping info.
I go back and forth explaining to the courier the situation and they say there's nothing they can do. I then call back to Kohls and tell them what the courier says and the customer service guy then say that they are sorry but their hands are tied. I then get an email from a C/S person telling me that they are not at fault I had time to change the address and I would need to call the person at my previous address to have them deny the package. I was shocked. I then call back the courier trying to figure a way around the procedures they make and they tell me that Kohls uses a 3rd party vendor that they get their furniture from so I call them, explain the situation and try and change the address thru them and they say they can't do it. I get the same run around.
At this point I am exhausted from the back n forth run around. I call C/S again and tell them I spoke to their vendor and explain to them that all they need to dop is call them and say and email the address change and the guy on the phone say, "Yes sir sorry we can't do that," so I then ask, "So you are telling me that I can't cancel, I can't get the addressed changed so I lose my money because I can't get my product," he says yes pretty much and laughs...LAUGHS? Who laughs in this situation?
I am livid now so I ask to speak to someone higher than him and he basically laughs and says, "Hold on sir." While I am on hold I call the 3rd party vendor on the phone (my cell) and get them on the line and literally thru both phones have them speak to each other and you know the supervisor still doesn't do anything to help me. She tells him exactly what he can do and the guy says, "Yes sorry we can't do that." So my mom's gift is being sent to someone else and I LOSE MY MONEY. THANK YOU KOHLS FOR NOTHING.

Kohl's wants you to believe that they have outstanding customer service. The people are fine, but the service is still far from outstanding. Aside from problems using Kohls.com (items being mysteriously lost from the shopping bag, etc.), here is the most recent example. My wife opened a charge account with Kohl's back in 2000. We have been MVC customers for 19 of the 20 years we have had the account. She died in June of this year, but I continued using the account and reached MVC status for next year.
I finally got around to calling to have her removed from the account. When I did that, I found out that she had opened the account only in her name and added me as an authorized user. Kohl's informed me that they would have to close the account and I would need to open a new account in my name. I told them I was ok with that, as long as I could get MVC status for the new account. Guess what? They can't (or won't) do that. If Kohl's had outstanding customer service, they would find a way to give me the MVC status. Looks like I am going to go back to shopping at JCPenney.

After looking at 1000 rings, I found my dream wedding ring at Kohl’s Online. It was a $7000 ring on sale. It is a stunning ring; however, a diamond fell out on my wedding day. I had a beautiful, flawless ring for a mere 3 hours! Although Kohl's promises a 160 day guarantee, they refuse to honor it because it is an online only item, without paying several hundred more.
Went to the local Kohl's and the manager was on the phone with the online Kohl's for at least 45 minutes. The manager fought for us on the phone, “look, they spent A LOT of money on this”. “How can we make this right for them?” “ I have their receipt, box, ring right in front of me”. Their only offer was to return the defective one, deduct the Kohl's cash we used, and then spend an additional $300 (because one of the discounts we used to purchase the ring had expired).
We left our beautiful honeymoon suite hours early to go straight to Kohl's as soon as they opened. The local manager asked over and over why they couldn’t just send a replacement ring to the store for us?!? She reiterated that this bride just wants her ring, a nondefective one! Kohl's Online will not send anything over $250 value to the store. I sat at the jewelry counter in tears half a day after my wedding and left with a defective ring that we saved and saved for. She and her local manager were just as disgusted as this bride and her groom. Please, please do not buy anything of value on Kohl's Online! Now, we will be shelling out more money to have a REPUTABLE jeweler replace the diamond and pray the whole ring doesn’t crumble. My family and friends are so upset that they now hate Kohl's.
