I just recently ordered two different Andrew Lessman supplements, and only received one in my secure mailbox. I emailed their Customer Service department to let them know. I was told both supplements should have been mailed in the same package. I checked with my mail carrier, he said he never saw a second package from HSN. I emailed them again, and was told they would ship another package. I never received it. I again contacted them and was told the supplements were no longer available. They never contacted me to let me know. Sent them a stern email, telling them I should have been contacted. Also let them know I would never shop with them again. I would purchase directly through Lessman's website.

Days later, I received a letter from HSN telling me they were satisfied with their investigation, they show I did indeed receive the supplements, and I would be charged for them. They did not supply any proof. They will be losing a lot of business from my friends and family over a bottle of $9 supplements! Sloppy way of running a business.

Ordered a computer via Flex Pay and they processed the first installment providing a transaction number. A successful purchase or so I thought. The next day HSN sent an e-mail advising the order was cancelled due to " Flex Pay Ineligibility." I went to my bank account to find they had not taken the money. Decided to go online, created an account and purchases the item via PayPal without talking to liar at HSN.

The person who took the order never once said Flex Pay was subject to credit review. The CSR also tried desperately to upsell additional services including an extra "warranty" product--all of which I declined. Never ever will I shop this company again. Watching my bank account like a hawk to ensure they don't over charge since I see someone already got ripped off by HSN and PayPal. Horrible company. Too many other (safe and reliable) online merchants who truly are appreciative of their customers. Never again!

HSN also blocked my account, which I had for years, because my roommate ordered something & didn't pay for it. I had no idea until I tried to order something & saw my account was blocked & they would not remove it until the balance was paid. So I said whatever! Not paying for his mess, so here's all you have to do to get around this. Have a friend or family member purchase what you want, pay them and when it arrives at their home, just go and pick it up. Blocked situation solved!

I bought this paper shredder 12-1-14. About 6 months later maybe 25-30 uses, the machine started to make noise. I bought some blade oiling sheets but it didn't make a difference. I called HSN but they said it was over 30 days and I had to call the manufacturer. I called Embassy and they said they would replace it. My complaint is the machine is a piece of junk and they won't pay for shipping to return it. It cost me 50$ to send it back. The machine originally cost $149.75 with tax. Made in China and I would advise not to buy it. When I asked if they made any upgrades to the machine they couldn't tell me.

A few months ago I ordered jeans; the stretch kind... I had to send them back because they were too large. I did get the new pair & they were in black. I've worn them but not excessively and they just faded out so bad that now they look very gray and worn... one of the zipper tabs just broke off on the hem of the jean! I loved the fit... one of the most comfortable pair of jeans I have ever worn... but so disappointed in the color fading and the metal part falling off the jean. I have thrown the receipt away as that was several months ago so I don't even have that information any longer. I wish I did I would be happy to have given it to you!

I had a very bad experience with HSN. I had just heard about steam mops from my son, his friend had purchased one. So my son knowing that I am disabled, I was shot by a drive-by while 6m pregnant, now only have use of one hand. So he knew the mop would be perfect for me. So I called to purchase the steam mop. I was 15 dollars short but was getting my check soon, so I ordered it on the FlexPay. I knew I would be able to pay the full amount before my 1st payment was due. So I received the mop and I didn't even take it out of the box. I noticed this mop was way too small, it was like a toy. So I closed the box back up and the outside of the box says 3 easy steps to return. I sealed the box and followed the instructions and returned their product.

2 months later I start receiving mail I thought was advertising so I just threw it away. One day I open one and they are charging me more money than the price of the steam mop. I called to tell I sent the mop back a long time ago. They said they received it but I didn't pay the 10 dollar shipping. I told them the post office took the box without any charge. I followed their instructions on the box. So they are continuously making this bill higher and higher. After that discussion I sent them their 10 dollars. But as of now they want 188.00 for a mop that was 119.00 that I sent right back. And also I sent their 10.00 late but they got it. This is wrong to do this to people. I did not keep or damage their mop. I returned it. They are wrong in so many levels. Be careful dealing with HSN.

Since I'm trying to go back to school, I was trying to look for a way to get a laptop for a decent price and decided on trying HSN after being recommended online. That was my first mistake. Everything went by pretty easily with me entering my information and such and before I knew it, my order was confirmed and for $100 every month. However, not even the next day, the order was cancelled. I was confused but didn't care. I'd take my money elsewhere. Except they hadn't replaced my funds.

I waited several days (my second mistake) in hopes that I'd receive my money. It's been four days. I contacted them and after they finally admitted to knowing my purchase and the first lady laughing at my frustration, I was told by a man that my card was lost or stolen even though they managed to get my money. I was told to contact my bank since they shouldn't do anything and I promptly did. Thankfully, I was able to get my money back but I will never use them again and will refrain from ordering online.

My mother purchase a mop . There were parts missing. She called HSN they said they would send her out a new mop. She could take out the parts that she needed and return it. My mother is an elderly person she thought she was being charge for the shipping back and didn't understand. She did not meet the 15 day deadline to return the product by the time she contact me and I was able to help her send it back. We asked for them to still receive the product and refund her money. They would not do it and ended up charging her for the other mop.

So if you have any elderly person ordering from here and they have any type of difficulty HSN will not identify this as a special circumstance. She still wanted to keep her original mop but be able to send the other one back (with the parts taken out that she needed that the original mop did not contain) and did not make the 15 day deadline. They would not accept it and charge her for the second one they sent out!

I was ready to place my order and a pop-up came up on my screen stating that if I sign-up for emails from HSN, I would receive a 15% off coupon to use for my first order with them. I decided to wait to order the item, thinking I would get my coupon fairly quickly, but it is now 3 days later and still no coupon! I chatted with customer service twice asking about my coupon and they both gave me a different answer! I am so frustrated with them already and I haven't even ordered from them yet! After this experience, I am not going to order anything from them. There are many other retailers online that I can order the item from... They already lost my business!!

I received a statement from HSN yesterday and today, I paid my monthly installment. I went onto the shopping page and found a very nice pair of slippers that were reasonably priced. When I went to checkout, I received a message that my account is blocked. I knew that because in August I broke my hip and failed to make that month's payment. I tried to see if I could use my VISA card for the purchase, but found out immediately that the only way I can buy items from HSN is with THEIR card!!! I am extremely upset that they have basically cornered the market on purchasing their products.

Unfortunately, I don't have the extra cash to pay off my balance, so here I sit with no slippers. I think that is downright unfair to the general public!! Things are very tough right now and when you see something that is a good deal, you can't have access to it. I think I will cut up my HSN card, pay my balance, and not ever shop there again! I sincerely hope they lose more customers by their unfair policies!!!

I have purchased Steve Madden shoes, Joy Mangano items, Iman luggage etc. and I have ALWAYS been treated with respect, and honesty. I did purchase a printer a couple of years ago, had a lot of trouble setting it up, returned it, and received a full refund without any hassle. Frankly I find it hard to understand all those negative reviews, when my experience has been SO different. My sister also purchases items without any problems.

I purchased two items on Home Shopping Network (HSN) using PayPal selecting my credit card as the payment source. HSN overrode my PayPal option to bill my credit card and billed the two items separately to my bank account against my knowledge. This resulted in several overdraft fees. I called HSN and PayPal repeatedly insisting they bill the credit card I selected at checkout. HSN said they would, and then billed the bank account again, resulting in more overdraft fees. I contacted PayPal and removed the bank account from PayPal.

I called HSN who said both items were paid for and the case was closed. After several stressed phone calls, HSN partially refunded the overdraft fees. Then four days after I removed the bank account from PayPal, HSN bills the bank account again via PayPal, resulting in more overdraft fees. Arggh!!! I stressed out with PayPal who reimbursed me for the balance of the overdraft fees. I went to the bank and closed the checking account, so it could no longer be billed by HSN and to stop the overdraft fees.

HSN wants me to shop with them again. I don't think this will happen nor will I connect a bank account to any online bill paying service. I also wiped all payment and general information from my HSN profile. To add insult to injury, PayPal still charged be $1.50 per check (total $3.00) to mail the HSN and PayPal overdraft refunds to my home address as a bank account was no longer linked to PayPal. There are lots of online companies that will let me pay with a credit card without all of this drama. I will pass on shopping on HSN and will avoid using PayPal where I can in the future.

I did receive the items I ordered. HSN also refunded expedited shipping fees and it took three weeks, several visits to the bank and multiple calls to HSN and PayPal to straighten this all out. I would not recommend HSN or attaching a bank account to PayPal. Once the vendor has your bank account information, the buyer lose all control and protection from being repeatedly billed from vendors who refuse to bill the source you select at checkout.

HSN received the items and because I sent back all (6) of the damaged items, I was told they feel they are not living up to my standards and felt it best if they closed my account without letting me know by letter. Nothing. No warning, nothing. To this day over 30 days, they have the items back and still have not credited me and they don't know when they will. How's that? And it's approx. $1,000 worth of my money. Apparently HSN is making money and interest in the meantime.

I NEVER received my order. Ordered in July 11, 2015, TV was scheduled to deliver in Aug. Received DAMAGED. Called to tell them the TV was damaged, the screen was shattered in multiple places. I asked "could another TV be sent out immediately." I was told yes. Called back the next week to check the status and was told I could not receive a replacement until the damaged TV was received. Per HSN this particular manufacturer doesn't allow a replacement to be sent out until they receive the TV. I could not sent the TV back until I received the shipping label from HSN because a return label was not included in with the TV. According to HSN this is the manufacturer, supposedly this manufacturer doesn't send return labels with the product and HSN usually they send return labels with their products.

Of course by the time they received the damaged TV there was no more TV's in stock with HSN so the manufacturer had to send out another TV. A new TV was sent in Aug 28. I only know that because I called Sept 13 to check the status. Was told another TV was shipped on Aug 28 but there was some confusion because it shows the TV was back at the manufacturer's dock on Sept 1. I was told they sent a message to the manufacturer to send me another TV. Called Sept 16 to check the status and was told the person I spoke with on the 13th should have told me the reason the TV was sent back to the manufacturer is because that TV was damaged in transit.

Once again I was told another TV would be sent to me. I received a voicemail 30 minutes later saying I could not be sent out another TV because this would be the second replacement TV and HSN is not allowed to send out a second time. I called and spoke with a supervisor who said something totally different. He said HSN didn’t have any more in stock so I asked if the manufacturer could send another like they did previously because I was told in August HSN didn’t have any in stock. He said the manufacturer didn’t have any more in stock so no I could not receive another TV from them or the manufacturer. All they could do at this point is give me a refund.

Through all of this inconvenience HSN NEVER contacted me. I had to call them WEEKLY to get a status update. Each time I called I was told something different. There was no consistency with the reps or supervisors I spoke with. The last person I spoke with said all they could do is issue a refund and an apology. When I asked what I could receive for the 3 month of inconsistency and still no product and will not receive a product I was told all I could receive is $10 off any item and that would have to be used in 60 days.

I purchased a Laptop from HSN in 2014 and one of the main reasons for my purchase was because they stated that it came with 'Lifetime' tech support. Boy was I fooled! I must admit that I did receive great online support for about 1year; however, recently I've had an issue with my laptop and could not get online. So I used the telephone number that I've always used to contact my 'Lifetime' tech support company (Elite Customer Support) and the telephone number was out of service. I contacted HSN about this and they gave me another contact number, which I called. I got a recording to hold on or leave my number and they will call me back. I kept holding for about an hour and no one came on the line. I also left my contact info and no one called back. Additionally, since their website was still up, I put in a ticket and asked for someone to call me back and never received a call back.

I called HSN again and they told me that I need to keep trying, they had no control over the tech support. Their current PCs now comes with tech support from another company. Since HSN cannot stand by their product and what they offer their customers, they clearly do not care about their customers. In the past, I have been an advocate for HSN and recommended them to my friends and family because I was very happy with the product that I purchased, but now, HSN will never get any further purchases from me, my friends, nor my family.

I have been shopping with HSN for years, and using FlexPay. Never had an issue. I recently purchased a laptop with FlexPay and received a cancellation notice and a number to call saying I couldn't use FlexPay. I called and like the others here, was told, "We can't tell you anything," (then wtf is the point of giving a number to call?) and that I would get a "letter in the mail." Well, I got the letter and here's what it said. They ran my credit, without my authorization, and although the credit company declined to tell them why, I was declined for authorization for FlexPay. If I had a problem, contact Experian, and a couple other numbers for other credit reporting companies.

First of all, it is illegal to run my credit without my knowledge or permission. They had no authorization to do so. Every time you have a credit report run, your credit takes a hit. They assume you are applying for credit. That's why you only get one free credit report a year. Secondly, there is NO, I REPEAT NO PLACE where in their presentation and offer of FlexPay, where they state they are going to perform a credit check on you. Not only is it false advertising to offer a FlexPay option without stating outright that it is ONLY available contingent upon your credit score and report, but it is illegal to do so without your knowledge and consent. Totally illegal. On top of that, the vague letter that gives no credit "score" but just a general decline with no reason is their attempt to avoid culpability for actually obtaining a credit report. They can say since they didn't get an actual score they didn't actually run your credit. It's a ** way of doing business.

I have a fulltime job and if I wanted to pay full price outright I would go to Best Buy and not HSN. People buy thru them inferior products made just FOR them for the simple fact they can spread out the payments. I could go to rent a center and get a computer with just a pay stub and no credit check at all so who are they kidding? This is apparently a new policy they have yet they have failed to disclose this openly and the shady and underhanded way in which it was done is totally unacceptable, and I will never do business with them again. After reading this page I'm glad I didn't get the laptop anyway since they obviously don't stand behind their products.

I posted on the community forum for over a year. Then without cause or a warning, I was suddenly banned. My banishment happened immediately after I refused to acknowledge the sales pitch of 'snowcollector'. 'snowcollector' is the username of a supposed member. Then, she pitched the Dirt-Devil vacuum cleaner (an HSN product) to me and posted the item number. It was so obvious that "snowcollector" is an HSN employee, and wanted to sell me that vacuum cleaner. I didn't respond to the post. The very next day, I was banned from the chat site. When calling to reorder the merchandise I informed them they had shipped the product to the incorrect old address. They made me believe it was revered. Month later I received a letter that their review of the circumstances were in favor of charging me for something I never received. I spoke to both Debbie, a rep and supervisor. Debbie who acted as hooligans when dealing with this. They refused to reverse the charge and stated this website is a self-serving web site - whatever this legally means (which means nothing but word spin on trying to get themselves out of this. I explained I chose the correct current address and it was their internal web eCommerce glitch that caused the issue.

They claimed I should have checked the order. Why would I when I live in a different state knowing and aware where I live and know and is aware of the address I choose. They have insurance and refused to make a claim. I told them I do not pay for items that they inadvertently sent to my old out of state address. The self-serving website they are using is hoopla and that there is no disclaimer in their website that disclaims you are responsible for their mistake or any other reasonable issues that may arise. If such is palpable then it must be in very small print that no one can see. I had them close my 15000 account and informed them I am not paying for their mistake. They were ok with losing a long term customer. Caveat: watch out for ordering with HSN on loan. Stay away and use QVC and others who appreciate your business. I purchased the Korres trio and the order was cancelled by HSN due to not enough product. It baffles me as to why there wouldn't be enough because when I ordered it has not sold out and it didn't until the middle of the day and I ordered around 8am that morning. I'm upset because if you are going to cancel an item for whatever reason it's only fair to give me another fragrance same brand same price. The two guy customer representatives that I spoke to were very rude and unable to properly assist me. They acted as if I wanted something for free which was not even the case. I faithfully shop at hsn and qvc but I will no longer be shopping with hsn. Not only did I not receive an email or any notification that my order was cancelled I was not treated like a loyal customer. QVC it is for me.

I purchased a HP Chromebook for my son's 17th birthday in March for $399.95. His birthday was in May so I held it as a gift until May. When he started using the Chromebook, he started getting viruses daily. I purchased this product because it was advertised that an antivirus was built in and you would never have to worry about a virus. I thought that was pretty good for my son.

When I called to complain I was on hold for an hour and finally sent to HP support. HP support explained to me that the antivirus that was installed was just one of many viruses and they would be more than happy to help me for a monthly fee. I called HSN back to complain and all they said was "I'm sorry" and I had 30 days to return the product and that time had expired. I told her I had not even opened the product in 30 days to even know this problem existed. She said she was sorry and to call the manufacturer. I told her my issue was with the misleading information that was given about the product by HSN, not the manufacturer. I was never told that even though an antivirus was installed, the computer still would have to be protected from other viruses.

Now my son is very disappointed because when the virus comes up, it shuts his computer down and he's not able to use it. Here I am still paying for a product that no one wants. I should've listened to my husband. He said, "Never buy products like these online. Always go to a local store where you are able to get technical support." I will never purchase anything from HSN.

I ordered a computer tablet. Did not like it. So I used the HSN provided shipping return label and sent it back by UPS. The package was received. This transaction transpired between late January and early February. HSN is still calling me and telling me that I am late on making payments on my purchase. When I ask them what should I be making payments on they start stuttering and fumbling but never give me any decent answer. Today one idiot called and said that I had ordered a freakin' Samsung TABLE... NOT T-A-B-L-E-T; TABLET. I said what kind of TABLE did I order and he repeated a Samsung TABLE!!!

I told him that I had proof that they had received it after I shipped back and did not owe them anything. That idiot asked me to hold on while he looked up a supervisor. After 12 minutes on hold without speaking to anyone, I hung up. Previously, I had asked for the address to send a payment but they were hesitant because they sort of suspected that I was and still am going to send them a cease and desist letter. By FDCPA rules they can contact me once after receive the c&d letter. If they call me once more I will own a nice share of that company.

I watch the channel where they boast that everything has a money-back guarantee and can be returned for any reason. Now they are not honoring that mantra, I guess, because you are limited of what you can return, so their presentation of the products is deceitful to say the least. After they told me by phone that I was sent a letter, I knew they were wrong because I never received such a letter. Today, almost two months later, I got a letter that I was automatically approved for their HSN charge -- does this company know what they are doing? Time to get in touch with Internet Fraud.

I have purchased many items from HSN over the last ten years from a Dyson Ball vacuum to two different high end LG 3D Tv's, to smaller items such as makeup and kitchen appliances. I have utilized their Flexpay many times and was able to use my bank card, credit card, or paypal account for payment methods with no problems. All the items I have received have been in excellent new condition (unless I purchased a purposeful refurbished item) and as described. There was even a time I ordered an accessory for the Dyson and then changed my mind before the item arrived and was able to return the item without any problem simply because I didn't want it anymore.

Customer service has always been professional and courteous with me. I have utilized their online chat and the phone for reaching customer service. I recommend this company to anyone who likes to be able to purchase more expensive items on a payment plan without having to wait to get the item like you do in a layaway program or for items that are exclusive to HSN. I have also recently become an HSN card holder due to being able to take advantage of the extra Flexpay feature making more expensive items even more affordable.

I decided to write this review in response to all the negative reviews I stumbled across here as I felt most were based on one bad outcome with the company and not a true representation of the overall experience this company is capable of. I am not an employee of HSN nor am I being compensated for any such review, nor does the company have any idea I even exist outside of my purchases with them. I simply felt this company was getting the short end of the stick here and decided to give my experience as a comparison.

It's been over a month now and the tv is still here. I talked to someone a week ago that said the return label had been mailed. I purchased an outdoor carpet which, although was very nice, did not match my decor as I had hoped. To pack it up for return, I noticed there was no invoice or lacking info so I called HSN who told me just pack it up and bring it to UPS and make sure you get a tracking #. On my way to UPS, I'm thinking how are they supposed to know anything about this package when they receive it?

So I came back home and called HSN again but asked to speak to a manager. She told me of "no you need to include this info," which she gave me. Order # etc and also told me there would be no return label since it was not going back to them but to the manufacturer so I would be responsible for the shipping. I brought it to UPS and had to pay $22.36 in shipping charges.

When I returned home I looked at another of their invoices and found they don't mention anything about shipping for returning to manufacturer. Thank God, I used American Express, the best. I called them immediately and they 1st gave me a credit for the shipping charges and opened a case against HSN. I tracked the package which was delivered to its destination the next day, 4/14/15 @ 9:37am.

I then checked my Amex acct online and 10 days later still no credit coming from HSN so I called them so that a rep could tell me "oh yes it's here. We haven't processed it yet." However, on 5/13/15 they answered Amex telling them they had never received the package and they would give me the credit once they received it. SERIOUSLY???

I called Amex again who were outraged once I told them I had the tracking showing it was returned the following day. They immediately reopened my claim and told me they will not be honoring the charge from HSN. These people are nothing more than dishonest scum and I will never order anything from them again and I have already deleted my apps which was the only way I shopped with them.

Ordered a laptop on HSN website with flexpay/payment accepted off my card and order placed through agent! I received confirmation by email, that order was being shipped and tracking info/ordered 2nd one (for gift, as discussed with both 1st and 2nd HSN rep) and again, funds accepted for flexpay/order placed and received confirmation and tracking info via email. The next day I received a generic email stating "unfortunately, at this time we are unable to extend the flexpay option to you" and that my order would be held for 24 hours and I could pay for it "in full". This was SHOCKING! 1st of all, I just finished paying off a flex pay item (ProForm exerciser - 3 payments paid the previous day in advance), as I was anticipating the purchase of laptop.

Secondly - I have purchased several items with flexpay over the past several years, including a laptop I still have and have never been late or had issues with payment(s). All completed, on time every time! When I contacted the customer service # I was abruptly told I would receive a "letter" and they didn't know why BOTH items were cancelled. I was told an outside vendor handled this part of the process. I escalated to a "supervisor" who was somewhat abrasive who also provided a 'cut and dried' answer "the letter" would explain. When I advised her that I had good order/payment history with HSN, she pretty much ignored it and said, "that doesn't matter'. I contacted a 3rd person to complain about the previous person's "lack of empathy/assistance/resolution" and was given a nice version of "you will receive the letter'.

One of the items I ordered was to be a graduation gift and I confirmed with the recipient that the order had been shipped based on the info HSN had previously provided. I emailed their company from their website. That is their last opportunity to do FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE - they took my money, never told me the order may not be approved - approved it and sent me confirmation that my order was being shipped and tracking info. They made a business financial agreement and broke it... Their emailed agreements will hold up in any court along with my money that I had sent. The rude rep released my order when I told her I would not pay in full and cancelled my order. I received another generic confirmation that my order had been cancelled. I am both shocked and disappointed at HSN's business practice and fully intend to follow this up with every legal avenue I can pursue if they do not resolve this issue immediately!

This has caused an embarrassing situation for a graduate, my family and a frustrating situation for me, a business owner and customer! It might be interesting to note that I was not happy that the ProForm I purchased, they said on tv "lightweight easy to move from room to room" - not so! This 130+ pounder has to go to my loft and I will have to hire movers to get it up to my 4th level... When I called within my 30 days to return, I was advised that I would need to pay $100 to get a return ticket from HSN (to cover shipping) or pay $2+ per pound with regular shipper. One of HSN's agents told me I could open the box and assemble the item then request a return for "faulty, damaged item" and the manufacturer would pay the shipping. I advised this was dishonest and I wouldn't do that. I decided to keep the item and paid for it in full. HSN took the 3 payments from my card prior to my order for the laptop(s).

This is not just shabby - it's absolutely shady and disreputable! No, I haven't received the letter and will have to re-decision/provision the graduation present as it was needed next week! Upset does not even come close to where I am at right now with HSN! Not to mention the extreme disappointment in a company I trusted and enjoyed supporting their network.

Have had a card with HSN for quite awhile. My limit was $500. However, I noticed that my limit had increased and I owed nearly $1500 because even though I made regular monthly payments (more than minimum) with interest charges and a $35 late fee it was becoming a vicious cycle. I contacted the bank inquiring why when I made payments each month I was getting a late charge and requested they be removed. The agent was very condescending and said I did not make my payment by the close on the fifth.

I said I can understand one time getting a late fee but if I pay on the 6th or 7th that would be in advance of the next month. She stated that I cannot pay my bill between the 6th and the 10th (which is where my payments fell as I get paid on the 5th). I said that does not make sense... she said it is in the policy. I called to talk to another agent and she said she hung up on me. Surely this was an error so I sent an email follow up and was reiterated the same story.

Apparently since my cut off day was the 5th payments that were paid within that week fell into a black hole and I was charged a $35 late fee every month. This way of doing business is one way to lose business. I will no longer use the card nor the purchase from HSN because I felt manipulated and burned by these outrageous fees. I have used HSN many times before and never had an issue, until I cancelled an order. I purchased an item around $300 and decided to cancel the same day and instead go physically purchase the item. Upon calling customer sales I was told that the money would be held and released within 72 hours, my credit union said the same thing. That was no problem, I used a debit card and I understand. The issue was 4 days later contacting HSN again to see what was happening.

After being bounced around departments I was finally connected to the supervisor in billing. She not only was incredibly rude, but kept telling me that I was wrong about what type of card I had used (like I don't know that I'm using a debit card attached to my checking...) but she then proceeded to hang up on me. My bank requested that I have them fax a formal letterhead stating that HSN will not be attempting to collect any funds from my account, she emailed them. Because she spent our conversation interrupting and 'correcting' me, she didn't let me email her the parameters which my bank requested in order to release my fund to me immediately.

I did call back after being hung up on. I was placed on hold by a young guy and then told that his supervisor had 'done all that she could do'. I explained to him that my bank wouldn't process the email for 48 hours and then it would be another 24 before the funds would be mine again. In response to me asking him to please fax, he said 'We just dont do that.'... HSN doesn't own a fax machine, they're purposefully making it difficult for me to get MY money back, and now I will never be a customer of theirs again. It is disappointing that with the great experience I have had with them that they would be so unaccommodating. I still have yet to see my money.

I purchased an HP computer from from HSN using the HSN card and received it in the middle of December. During the second half of January, the computer already started having technical difficulties - the blue screen of death. This is something that should not be happening a month after buying it. It was after 30 days but I contacted "customer service".

They were not able to replace because they did not have the product in stock so I was told I would get a full refund. It has been a month. They took the payments off the card but did not remove the late charges. I was told that they could not be removed. I should not have to pay anything when the item is no longer in my possession for being faulty. I also returned another item because it did not meet my expectations and they refunded the price of the product but not the shipping. They said that the reason for the return did not warrant a refund for my product. They lost a customer. I will never shop with this company again!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HSN!! Or you will fall victim as I did. I ordered a Shantung Tufted Headboard in January. Upon receiving the item it was not at all what I expected it to be, it was cheap and poorly made. I had been in contact with HSN customer service for the past month. They initially informed me of how to return the item with their EZ returned label stating: the shipping charge is either $6.95 for a box under 5 lbs or $9.95 for a box over 5 lbs. I looked for the label in the package and was unable to locate one. When I advised the customer service rep this, instead of offering to provide me and link or a way to print an label they told me this item ships direct to the customer from the manufacturer and regrettably they do not participate on your EZ return label program and would be responsible for the shipping charge and they provided me with a shipping address in Illinois to ship the product back.

I reside in Dallas,TX. The headboard weighs 47 pounds, you could imagine the shipping cost I had to pay.. $139.21 to be exact! I have remained cordial and reasonable during this process in asking HSN to come to a mutually resolution with me. I told them I was not even asking for full compensation, I would accept partial compensation or even a credit I could use towards a future purchase, something to make up for the expense I had to pay since it is not the consumer's fault HSN chooses to use a vendor that does not participate in their EZ label. After many attempts, HSN was still not willing to compromise and resulted in me filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would highly recommend no one to make purchases with HSN as they do not have the customer's best interest.

Ordered a New Bissell Deep Clean Steam Cleaner 36Z9 from HSN on February 10th of 2015. Price was 279.99 with a 15% coupon for first time buyer discount. Total came to 243.50 after taxes. I chose the 4 payment program. The vacuum arrived in good time, about 6 days after the order was made. Problem began when opening the package, all brown box and double tape, obviously a used refurbished box that was re-taped. Opening the box, all parts were out of the package, just laying loosely in the package, unprotected. Not too mention, missing parts were noticed, these were the accessory pieces that attach to the vacuum for different cleaning purposes, none of them were in the box. The Steam Cleaner came with no Manual, No Warranty Card and absolutely no product detail or information.

Pulling the actual vacuum from the box revealed several scuff marks around the outer lower casing and the Vacuum was FILTHY. Dirt all inside the machine and in the tank compartments, bottom rollers were dirty with black crud dried on them. Wow, completely unsatisfied. Called customer service immediately, all that could be resolved was for me to return the entire system for a new one. So I accepted and now I am waiting for the new arrival. If this turns out to be the same fiasco, I am reporting HSN to the Better Business Bureau and also will look into taking some legal action. Time will tell.

Nowhere on the page I ordered it from did it say this and on the returns page it talked about "easy returns". Be very careful ordering from HSN. You are likely to get ripped off or disappointed if you order a lot. The disappointment is caused a combination of forces including the poor control HSN has over their orders and vendors followed by an extreme detachment from customers. As a customer, you are nothing more than customer cattle to make their dollars selling you often highly inferior products such as unsellable electronics they buy cheap to sell in bulk.

I order a lot of products through the Internet and thought I'd give Home Shopping Network a chance. First couple products I ordered were good enough (Joy Mangano pillows, Professor Amos drain cleaner) and arrived quickly. On Jan 10, I ordered an exercise rebounder. No indication from HSN there was a back order shortage or problem. On January 24, which was now two weeks, the website status claimed a delivery of January 23. Called the customer service department who first told me no explanation was available then told me it would not be shipped until a month later -- February 22. When I insisted this order be cancelled (which couldn't be shipped for a month), he said he couldn't guarantee order could be stopped. Also told me I could not talk to a manager. Called back and got a manager who was equally indifferent.

BOTTOM LINE: Stick with Amazon, QVC or anyone else but HSN. They are in the business of selling questionable products to poorly informed consumers and their customer service shows a disdain for their buyers. Back to Amazon for me. Customer service has helped me see the true face of HSN.

Seeing that this was HSN, we never

bothered to check. But to our surprise and dismay, the disc was a store edition CD, not the first print gold one. The CD print cover has the item number 48900 and the disc inside is numbered 45400. The actual gold CD should match the case number. I'm only posting this because I thought HSN was supposed to be a reputable company, but now if they did this kind of stuff back then, what have they been doing all these years to other customers with other products?

She said "I don't know what to tell you, except have a neighbor go get it." Otherwise if it disappears I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE for it. I said what happened to my assurance on the delivery time. SHE SAID NO HSN person would make that promise.

Now, I'm out of the country; my neighbor said the box was delivered totally destroyed and it was rattling. I ask her to call HSN and get a return authorization label. They told her it would take up to 21 days to receive RAL. I returned home, no RAL was sent because my neighbor DIDN'T give the correct routing number. They left this message on my home phone. I call for a new RAL. I'M TOLD it's too late, it's now the 31st day and there is nothing they can do. Talked to a supervisor and Mike told me the same thing. NO MATTER what I said, he turned a deaf ear. I opened up to what was a resemblance of a box. The top of the laptop was smashed. I CALL HSN back & told them of the problem. THEY SAID, I SHOULD HAVE TOLD THEM THAT A MONTH AGO.

I was forced to eat a broken laptop! I HATE HSN. I had five Auto shipments coming. I cancelled them verbally and by EMail saying if the item gets shipped, it's mine. It is easy to tell when you get a used item just by looking at the packaging. A new item arrives in a box with one strip of tape down the middle of the box. Used items will have lots of tape over original tape. HSN should be sued for false advertising, offering new products and sending customers merchandise that other customers have returned.

I hope everyone that reads this will write a letter to HSN and complain about this type of false advertising. If you order a new product, you should receive a NEW product, not something someone else has tried and returned. I am looking into the possibility of a class action lawsuit against HSN. Customers are not getting the new item that they ordered and then they are charged a return fee by HSN. Totally ridiculous business practice. I could not get my order to go through, I called and the guy said it was because I somehow had two accounts so he merged them. Still did not work. I got customer service on the computer. She said I did not have a password, which I explained I did, so she reset it and said it would work fine now. Still did not work. I contacted them again, and again they did something and said it would work. Well this time I contacted them and told them to close my account after 5 hours and contacting them 5 times and no one would stay with me to make sure my order would go through. I went to QVC and guess what, my order went through without a problem! So goodbye to HSN and hello to QVC!

Consumers Be Aware - HSN has no regard for its customers! I have been a member of HSN for over ten years and bought much from them over the years. My mom passed away and I went on HSN to close my mother's file and to update my account (change my phone number and address). The automated system would not let me and so someone from customer service went through the process with me and assured me it was done. I then ordered things which never arrived. When I called to check, I was told the updates had not taken place. Another representative went through the process, and updated my account for me, told me it was updated, and then took my order for the second time. These items never arrived and when I called, I was told (1) my account had not been updated, (2) both orders had been sent to my old address and returned; and (3) my account had been closed by HSN for non receipt of packages. When I asked to speak to accounts so that the problem could be corrected, I was told accounts does not take phone calls, only letters. Basically I have been punished for my mom dying and for moving into her home and using the phone in existence there.

I have contacted them multiple but since their rep neglected to get my email address when I placed the order, they are refusing to provide a documentation of my purchase. This item is an electronic and is covered by a warranty and their liberal holiday return policy. Without a receipt of any kind, I am at their mercy should this item prove to be defective within the return or warranty period. This is an absolute scam situation being perpetrated by HSN. I will NEVER purchase from them again.

I was on the hunt for a DSLR camera and decided to try HSN since they will break up the payments every month. This was my first experience ever using HSN and it was horrible! I ordered the camera and everything was fine. Then a week later they contacted me saying they cancelled my purchase because they couldn't verify that it was me who was ordering the camera! So after you withdrew the money from my account and everything was cleared you go and cancel it?! I was then asked a series of personal questions so that they could help identify me after talking to the rep for 30 minutes he says he has no valid information about who I was. This was absolutely ridiculous! I've never experienced this with any online company before!

I took my money elsewhere and went to QVC where I had an amazing experience and actually got the DLSR for a better price and with an additional lense. I didn't have any "identity" problems with QVC. They were amazing! Also DO NOT sign up for HSN emails. They will bombard your email with tons of spam! I have been trying to unsubscribe from them for over 2 months now and yet they still send me emails! I had to contact gmail so that I wouldn't receive anymore emails from them.

When channel surfing this weekend I came across HSN selling "new" Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 units. The hosts worked this product up to make it sound like you were getting the latest HDX 8.9, the exact model that Amazon is currently selling. This was a total sham and the usual bait and switch con game so familiar with the hit and run electronics retail stores that used to permeate every large city in the USA so many years ago. HSN has taken it up a notch by being able to con and rip people off from all over our nation by doing it on national television. After comparing the specifications on both products offered by Amazon and HSN I came across the following points: HSN's Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a sub-standard model compared to the one currently being sold on Amazon. Compare it with Amazon's current model which has a 400 GPU, Wireless AC, and a faster processor. What you get from HSN is an older model with a slower 300 GPU, no Wireless AC, and a slower processor. But they don't say that on TV do they? They work it up by saying Amazon allowed them, and only them, to sell the same product Amazon sells at a cheaper price.

The wiseguys at HSN don't even know (or maybe they do) the products they sell and try to pass last year's tech as this year's latest. When I called HSN all they did was apologize and admit that it was the same model with different internal components. Exactly like a Ferrari with a Dodge engine, but hey it's still a Ferrari! According to the arrogant rep on the phone this is HSN's common practice. According to this rep it is also an industry standard to sell the sub-standard products as like or equal without stating such over the TV airwaves. I would like to introduce HSN's president to some wiseguys in Brooklyn that use the same industry standards as HSN. The real deal would cost you $30 more at Amazon and the upsell at HSN is that they are selling the same product for $30 less with a free keyboard and free shipping. I called Amazon to alert them of HSN's Crazy Eddie tactics and they too were apologetic about the whole situation. The person (located outside of the USA) that I spoke to was equally appalled at HSN's con man tactics.

Amazon was gracious enough about the situation and sent me a $20 credit to apply to the purchase of a new Kindle- the real deal. Knowing what the industry standard is according to HSN I will never again buy electronics from HSN or any other television con men who try to pass their outdated and sub-standard equipment as this year's latest and greatest. I'm returning the trash HSN is sending right back to their junk house in a heartbeat. HSN, just like the Crazy Eddie of the old days, is definitely insane! Bait and switch, not really SOLD OUT items, and downright nationally televised lies is what HSN is all about. Buyers Beware. Buy your products from honest, reputable vendors with hearts and souls. Avoid the television devils and goblins with pretty faces and infatuating voices who try to convince the innocent buying public that Hell is just like Heaven.

I was about to spent $300 at HSN. However, I noted that they asked if cards are debit or credit and that is a red flag. Over the summer, Paypal changed how it processed my long ago entered dual debit/credit card where we have dual use for cash and credit and are supposed to decide and agree to whether our cards are used as debit use via pin or by credit. Paypal was somehow allowed to bypass requirements for a pin number and to instead processed transactions as CASH which due to the number of purchases then went over my transaction limit and locked out my card use. If I had been traveling on a weekend, I would have been furious!!

BEWARE OF THIS PEOPLE! When you use your card and it's processed like cash by companies with these sort of discrimination policies, you have ZERO protection from the fraudsters (including when HSN behaves badly). You can see a guy on here who was wrongly charged over $2000 via a mistake order that took the money straight out of his bank and was also processed like cash @ HSN. DO NOT ALLOW HSN to have access to your DEBIT CARD!! It's like a free pass to your bank account that you have no protection against..

Anyhow, because HSN has decided that they will take credit cards from people who ONLY have credit cards BUT TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THOSE WHO HAVE DEBIT AND TO THEN REQUIRE CASH from them and to thus REFUSE OUR CREDIT CARD OPTION - FOR Those of US WHO want to use OUR DUAL CREDIT/DEBIT as CREDIT. THIS IS DISCRIMINATION via HSN!!! They accept it from one person but not another and in doing so seek to limit card related charges for our cards but are accepting them from other people who use ONLY credit!! Furthermore, they seek to prevent us from having protections on our accounts; which are standard for these sorts of things for anyone who doesn't want to have their savings stolen. THIS IS WRONG AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL.

Tell HSN and any other company who pulls this garbage that you will boycott them until they get their act together and treat all customer cards the same... which means accepting credit from ALL customers and not trying a work around for those people who have dual use cards!! SHAME ON HSN!! - who did not get my $300 order. Don't give them yours either!!!

I call tonight to order, there is still a block on my account. So I call the collector to find out why this is not cleared, they say found another account from 2010, there is balance. Really! On July 15th an exercise chair arrived via UPS. My son accepted the package. I was home but not in the front of the house. It was exercise chair that I considered ordering remotely via my tv but cancelled before the order processed. I am shocked it arrived. I ran outside looking for the UPS man whose truck was still parked out front but he was nowhere to be found. Of course the minute I went back inside as it was over 100 degrees that day, he jumped back into his truck and left. Not as if he was avoiding me. I never opened the package and it sat in my front room, in the box until today.

I loaded it in my car and took it to my local UPS store. They said they could not accept it and I would have to call UPS to come and pick it up. So I did that. UPS told me they could not accept it as it was past their 5-7 day time limit to pick up packages for returned items. I then called HSN, this is where the fun begins. The man I spoke with asked for the item number which I gave him off the return label that I am simply suppose to affix to the box and be done with it. He then tells me that is not one of their products so that alone set me over the edge.

I asked to speak with his supervisor. She tells me there is a 30-day return policy and I am still within the 30 days but in order for me to return it, I will have to pay shipping, for an item I didn't want to begin with. Apparently, they do give you a return shipping label but it didn't have a UPS tracking number on it and she could not explain why it did not have one. There was free shipping with this item but now I am being charged shipping just to get rid of thing. So she offered to send me a check for $20 toward shipping and I will have to pay the rest, which is scary.

She extended the time of return to 09/10/14 and it has to be back in the warehouse by that day or I am stuck paying for it. So now I have to wait for this lame check to come in as I am not paying for it myself cause I know something will happen and I will be out even more money. I think I am mostly upset at the guy from HSN who curtly told me that was not one of their products and the guy from UPS who tells they have 5-7 return policy even though HSN has a 30-day policy. I am also mad at HSN for not providing a UPS tracking number on the return label, especially when the item weighs 20lbs.

Just be careful when ordering from them as this is not the first time this has happened but before the items were smaller, and less expensive so it was not a big deal. Like when they sent me 2 vacuums when I only ordered one. Luckily, I was able to sell the other one. I have also purchased an iPad which died 2 weeks after I bought it. So now I need to take that in for repairs. I only used it 5 times and each time I was on it a half hour at the most. So please be careful when ordering from them, especially if you need to return the item.

I shopped with HSN since about 1987-at least that's when I started to tune in. I worked a night shift and at the time that was the only thing on TV when I came home - I would sit and watch. Within a couple of years I purchased. Needless to say like another reviewer mentioned - I spent much over the years. Most appliances I have, among other items are HSN. Lots of gift items as well. Really I've loved most of the products/vendors. There was quite a spell there where basically I kept everything ordered - believe me stuff ($) racks up fast. There comes a point where I would order but once received I became more selective - maybe some of that comes with age also? I would keep the things that really wowed me and send the rest back. I was happy, just fine with what I had.

Well, I did receive a letter before long - a warning letter about excessive returns. I was really surprised! With all I had spent with them! Their job is to entice folks to buy - well what do you expect then? Well, that was a warning. Nothing mentioned - is there a certain "percentage" of returns acceptable? They advertise, no questions asked. Money back 30 day guarantee - something seems off to me.

Well I continued to order. I used their high interest rate card, but always made the flex payment so I never, ever accrued interest using the card. Prior, I had been using another credit card - that was a different scene altogether. Well it was one day in March 2013, I called in to order something - it wouldn't let me order on automated, but instead routed me to one of their customer service reps. The rep said "I'm sorry to inform you, your account has been closed". I was totally shocked. I told the rep so. He said "oh, I hate when they do this to me - I hate having to be the one telling this to folks". I gathered from that - I was not alone in this.

When I called the HSN card company the woman I spoke to said "oh no, Ma'am your account isn't closed - you're a good customer". (In fact I was one of the old timers still allowed to send in a check payment. HSN had stopped that for most all other customers a couple of years ago). I told her HSN said it was closed. She put me on hold and spoke with someone else. They verified that it was closed and she was shocked. Well, it all kind of felt so weird in a way - it kind of felt like going through a divorce! A very yucky feeling.

I emailed customer service. I wanted something relayed to their CEO Mindy Grossman - not verbatim but...."I feel as though there is false advertising done at HSN. Please relay to the customer - whether it be on your invoice or a text. Let the customer know what percentage of returns they are at, what is the defining number that constitutes excessive. This would at least help the customer in tracking their purchases/returns. And please don't say you have a 30 day unconditional return policy".

I got a reply back from someone saying they would present this at one of their meetings. If they did - I sure don't see any changes. I remember one Jewelry channel - they used to post right on their invoice. If you have too many returns, we reserve the right to close your account. Gee HSN, at least be honest. I'm really wondering now after dumping who knows how many customers if HSN is hurting. I've noticed they show taped shows at night. And now they have an HSN2 that shows taped pieced together old airings. I did email them twice wondering if there has been any change on their part in regards to the account - "no - closed indefinitely". Oh well, their loss. I do miss their vendors; Jay **, Carol **, etc. I have purchased some of their items on the secondary market though. There really is a plus shopping local though - you help your city and you can actually see and hold and try on an item. Hey! That's a novel idea!

In fact watching HSN now as I write this! July 7, 2014, 12 noon program. To watch these on TV, what do you call them HSN representatives, presenters? I call them BIG FAT LIARS! Yep, just watched Guy Yovan first presentation at 12 noon on the #366-198 Soda Stream Soda Maker he states "He uses it all the time." Also states "In fact I had friends over the other night (sure you did) and they needed soda water, and I said wait I have the soda maker. So I made them their soda water." Later in seconds, he slips up where he states "where can you buy this at this price! He states the lying part from since he uses this for his sodas, why does he state "that's what I spend per month on sodas"! Omg! Are you kidding me and these people sleep at night!

Here is another! Item 366-220 Hamilton Beach Open ease Automatic Jar Opener. Again it is Mr. Guy Yovan and his co-host, the blonde woman with no name.. who is using the opener on what they state can open all cans, jars, you name it, from 1-4". Amazing it jumps off trying to open a big 4" top for tomato juice and they move the camera but guess what, some of us are not STUPID, HSN! It never did open it. Guy catches it falling off and she makes quick for another bottle. Then another happens. It can't even open a peanut butter jar! But they talk about the older people who cannot open these items, how it will open it for them.

Amazing all these pieces of junk you will see at Goodwill or Salvation Army for 50 cents to a dollar! I would say I only hope it is their mom or dad that gets one and it can't open the items for them! But I care more than I do... Guy and HSN DON'T LIE TO YOUR OWN FAMILY, WHICH YOU ARE DOING. PLUS AREN'T WE SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR PUBLIC FAMILY?? Most businesses would not be in business for all the screw ups I have read on this site, and the lies that come from the very mouths of HSN. Here is one for you... I don't have this problem on the other company which is -- ah, let me see, QVC. I have had problems with QVC but they have turned around and made them right, cause THEY CARE!

HSN did not inform me as a consumer that they did not provide return labels or absorb cost of return of Teeter-Hang Up at time of purchase. Did not inform customer that product had to be put together during sale. That was false advertising. When contacting Customer Service about why there was no return label, they repeatedly said it's not their warehouse, so it's the customer's responsibility. Again, they NEVER stated that when they sold it from their HSN, refused to arrange pickup.

I spoke to senior account representatives: Bill, Jessica, Aaron, Debbie & acct rep Sandra. Debbie refused to attempt to help and kept everything that could be done was and would not escalate this to allow me to speak to a supervisor and gave me a number to call and leave a message for Leadership at: 727-872-2500. I did. The story changed every time. They said a return label would be at my home on 6/18/14. Then they said it would be mailed out on 6/18/14.

They have refused to have this picked up even though Jessica told me it would be since this product hurt my back opening the box. They should be required to tell customer when the customer must pay to return item, when an item must be put together, & when item does not come from their warehouse which then changes standard return policy! They should be fined for not giving this information.

They lied. Do not believe them when they say you can return an item within the 30 days for any reason!!! To say that I have ordered thousands and thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from HSN is an accurate statement! I have never purchased any item over $79.00, ex a ring $79.00 and didn't like it but returned it within a week. Yes I have returned jewelry for size purposes.

Mind you I am not kidding I have purchased maybe $10000.00 worth of merchandise. My whole home is HSN stuff that I LOVE. I USED TO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT HSN!!!!!! BUT THEY SUDDENLY blocked my account WITH NO WARNING, NO LETTER OF WARNING, and all my accounts were completely paid because I used a credit card. I have written about 5 long letters. I have called and spoken with a few supervisors. I sent certified mail two times to the corporate office. I have called the corporate office.

They say I returned too many items and that is why they closed my account. The one supervisor said to me, "I am looking at your account and you do not return too many items." I agreed! I normally bought 2 or 3 of an item and kept at least 2, sometimes returned one for size with all its tags attached and in the original packaging with all the inserts. OVER 75 PERCENT of time I returned items unopened!!!! in salable condition.

THEY CANCELED MY ACCOUNT. THEY BLOCKED MY ADDRESS. My two grown daughters who live with me have their accounts closed because we share the same address!!!!!!!!!! They have not been able to purchase any of their items that they love for make up, acne products, jewelry and they are none to happy. So now 3 unhappy customers are telling everyone NOT TO ORDER FROM HSN for how they treat their customers instead of having 3 happy customers.

I used to use ebates.com to place my order and save an additional 3-4 %. I sometimes wonder if I got kicked out because of that, because I was a faithful customer for years!~!!!!! 3 of my computers are from them, etc! My whole house is HSN. SOME OF MY MOST FAVORITE THINGS THAT I OWN CAME FROM HSN.I told everyone I was a walking billboard for them, until they closed my account to my shock and amazement with no warning and blocked my entire address and other family members accounts. Now I can't tell enough people, "don't believe them when they say you can return something!!!!!" And know they will lie and say your account was canceled for returning when you know you didn't do what they claimed and had their supervisor to tell me also.

Funny I ordered other products just a few days ago and ordered it on Flex Pay but was okayed the Flex Pays and I am paid the products in full but as soon as I decided to order the Kindle Fire, they want the full price upfront! Then why give the Flex Pay if you don't want to honor it. Or is it a gimmick used to lure people to buy it and then you deny the Flex Pay in order to scheme them to pay the price in full and that seems like a scam to me. To not honor the Flex Pay is a total rip off and a very bad publicity stunt to get people's attention, and then not honor the Flex Pay to get people to pay the full price. So why then give the Flex Pay if you don't want to honor it! Bad sales pitch if you ask me and I won't be doing business any more with this bunch and bad customer service as well!

They also promise me a five dollar off coupon and did not honor that either! I bet I could get a better deal at Walmart!!!! And don't have to go through this mess! I ordered two Kindle Fire HDs on 3/12/14. Late in the day on 3/14/14, I received a call from the HSN fraud dept. They said that my cell number didn't match my name and they needed proof I was who I said I was. They ask me a series of questions dating back to 1999. Questions that I personally did not like them even knowing the answers to. I answered the questions correctly and was assured that my order would not be delayed. On 3/15/14 (the next day), I received an email that they were out of the Kindles and my item should ship in about 30 days. The email stated that after 30 days, they would automatically cancel if the Kindles didn't come in. My other option was to cancel myself. So of course I cancelled my $550.00 order. The next day I attempted to order online from another company only to have my debit card denied. I actually had to call my bank and get them to take the hold off my card. My question is who the He_L does HSN think they are??? Be very careful dealing with this bunch. I know I will never spend a dime with them and I will tell everyone I know to stay far, far away from them.

Before purchasing any high dollar item I check the return procedures. HSN claims that unless the specific items states otherwise, every item is eligible for easy returns. Big Fraud. After you purchase furniture you can't cancel the order after 24 hours and even though the item doesn't state that it's not eligible for easy returns, when it arrives, it states on the invoice that you're responsible for returning it. I figure, fine, I'd rather pay $35 to return their item than deal with them but when I try to process the return, they blocked the item saying I had exceeded the number of allowable returns. I have NEVER returned anything to HSN. After dealing with their horrible customer service and realizing their easy returns did not apply to furniture items I quickly cancelled my order for a set of mattresses. When I called customer service to complain, the agent refused to do anything, said there was nothing they could do.

Second problem - I also ordered a dining room set. I live on the 3rd floor of a walk up so I was careful to be sure the item would be delivered to my apartment. But when the shipping company called to schedule delivery, they informed me that they only deliver to the doorway. I contacted HSN customer service and same story - there's nothing they can do. The agent actually said that HSN is just a third party and they're not responsible for who the vendor sends the product to for delivery!! Okay, fine, I call the shipping company to schedule the delivery and they give me a 1-6 pm delivery window on a Friday.

I ask my son to come over and wait for the delivery, which means he has to leave his disabled wife at home alone for the day, but she just got a new motorized wheelchair so she says she can handle it. At 4:30 pm, I call the shipping company to make sure they're still going to deliver the furniture and I'm assured that I'm still on the schedule. At 6 pm I call back and I'm told they'll try to reach the driver and call me back. At 6:25 I receive a call saying, "Sorry, the driver didn't load your freight on the truck. When is another convenient time to deliver?"

Are you kidding me??? There is no other convenient time! That wasn't even a convenient time! So I tell the woman about my son leaving his disabled wife and she "seems" to be sympathetic and asks me to hold for a minute. She comes back on the phone and asks if I'll be home tomorrow, which is a Saturday. Now I know they don't normally deliver on Saturday so I'm skeptical, but the woman seems sincere so I say I'll be home all day. She tells me they will deliver between 10am - 2pm on Saturday. She lied. Name of that shipper is JFK Cottage. So, I'm still without the dining set, which I've paid almost $800 for and can't return to HSN. What a nightmare.

I got frustrated with them and told them I was going to return the two items that I didn't request.

At that point, they told me I couldn't return the items because it was beyond their return policy. To add insult to injury they continued to tell me they couldn't figure out the bill because the items were on flex pay that I never asked for had to be credited in a particular manner. Ask me if I care! When I continued to try to figure out the total owed for the second items that I did not request, I couldn't get anywhere either. All I was trying to do is pay for what they refused to take back even though I did not request the second items. They even charged me interest in what is suppose to be the final bill.

Finally, I am paying this bill so I can avoid further dealings with them. I will never buy anything from them again. By the way, the stupid credit card they offer has some outrageous interest. Had I purchased these items with a regular credit card, I would have gotten a credit for all the items. I am not legally responsible to pay for something I did not request from them. Where do I begin? I've never dealt with a company with worse customer service and more incompetent representatives. I placed an order and when I received it, part of the order was missing. No problem. I contacted them and while at first, they accused me of lying (it was silly as the missing item was a small accessory probably worth a few dollars), they agreed to send me a replacement. For some reason, that took over 2 weeks and when I got it, they sent me the wrong product. By the way, the missing item was a part that was needed in order to use the whole product. So I contacted them again, and a few weeks later, I finally got the item.

Then 2 weeks later, I went on the website to place another order and it said it could not be processed. I thought they were having a problem with their website so I contacted them. I was told my account was closed. They refused to give a reason. And of course, they didn't even send me any message in advance to inform me. None of this makes sense but I know now why home shopping channels, especially HSN, have a bad reputation. I guess if you complain about their mistakes, you get blocked like a mad ex-girlfriend.

To add insult to injury, a month later, the product broke. I've also noticed when it comes to electronic items, the hosts and guests often lie about the product features. I don't know if its intentional or not, but I even contacted the company because I think they take advantage of uneducated consumers. They also claim they offer risk free trials with full refunds. What they don't tell you is that they don't refund the shipping AND you have to pay for shipping the return. So that free trial can often cost you up to $20. All in all, I wouldn't do business with this company anyway. They can learn from companies like Amazon or QVC that are known for its customer service. HSN is definitely a second rate company (A lot of merchandise is also poor quality and overpriced so buyer beware).

I returned the product in September by dropping it at a UPS Store location. I had applied the label that was supplied with the product for shipping. What I didn't realize was that the label that was included in the packaging was not a prepaid label as the host had stated on the show and which was a normal thing. The product did not get returned to HSN and I am unable to track because I dropped at the UPS Store and they don't keep a record of products dropped and they stated that they are not UPS just a drop off spot. I can't even put a trace on the tracking number that I had from HSN because I didn't ship the product.

After fighting for several months with HSN they credited my account the money they had withdrawn in November 2013 and sent me an e-mail confirming what they had done. I thought everything was taken care of and I got rid of every paper I had relating to the dispute. Well NO. In January. they started withdrawing the flex pays from my account again. I called them and they said they had never gotten a tracking number from me and I explained that I had given it to them several times. Their comment was "you didn't return the product so you will be charged for it". I did return it but I don't have any way of tracking it.

Why would they credit my account and then start charging me again? I HAD, I mean HAD, been a customer of HSN for many years. I will never shop with them again and I would recommend if you do that you use a prepaid debit card so they don't have access to your account.

I bought items from HSN at Christmas time. Some I put on my LL Bean Visa and some on my HSN MasterCard with Flex Pays. I called last night to order their special and asked them what I had on my MasterCard. I should only have one order with 4 Flex Pays and she said that I have 88.83 on my MasterCard. I said no those are on my Visa. She said very nasty “You don't have any orders on your MasterCard.” So I logged in to my order status and now I see what's going on - what HSN is doing.

They’re moving all my Flex Pays from my LL Bean Visa over to their HSN MasterCard without me knowing and now they just put one Flex Pay from my Visa on to an old closed out HSN charge card years ago. And they removed my Visa at the top of the order and put the old closed out charge card to make it look like the order was placed on the old closed out card then my LL Bean Visa which is the card I placed the order on. I blocked both my Visa and my MasterCard. I don't what they’re doing or why or even what their motive is for doing it. When I called them last night, I got on their case and one women sounded like she was crying and had to put me on speaker phone and another was stuttering so nervous that she could barely speak. What is HSN doing. What can I do. Who do I call or go to. If someone can call me, please call **.

I Purchased several items as Christmas presents from HSN this year because of their "Easy Return" policy. They never mentioned on their presentations that the product was not being shipped from HSN and return postage may be required. They give this big sales pitch on how you can use it until Jan 31st and return if dissatisfied. Return labels were included with the items - all being shipped to the HSN - 17785 Center Court Dr Suite - 670 - Cerritos, CA - 90703- How is that another company? Also, the return address on the original package says it came from HSN at that same address. My daughter called customer service and got a very rude representative - when she told him we were good customers and shopped frequently - he replied sarcastically - "Well, HSN has been in the business 37 years - how long has your mom been a customer?" My daughter asked to speak to a manager - they did give me a $25 credit on a future order but that doesn't help with the out-of-pocket money to send back the items. I think they should make it clear in their presentation where the merchandise is coming from and who pays for the return shipping.

Called HSN and they said I could send it back but they would only give me a rebate of $3.99 and I paid $27.00 for it in the first place. So I told them that I would never shop from HSN ever again. STAY AWAY, shady business practices. Customer service was a joke. If I could, I'd only give them half a star.

I wanted to get my boyfriend a new phone on Easy-pay. It was only a 200.00 phone. Paid the first installment, thought it was being shipped to me. Online it just stated "pending" under order status. So after a 2 weeks of waiting, I get this crazy letter about my credit and frauding companies. It made me so angry. I called them right up and let them know that I have never defrauded anyone a day in my life. I would never ever ever ever shop HSN ever ever ever again. Plus their prices are higher. I went to QVC and am now on my 4th easy pay order. Perhaps if they wouldn't accuse their customers of committing fraud then they'd sell more items. Boo to you HSN.

What HSN DOESN'T tell you when you purchase from them, is that many items do NOT QUALIFY for their easy return policy! Electronics and large items, like the Pilates reformer I purchased from them, ship directly from the manufacturer and are not part of the easy return policy EVEN THOUGH you ship it back to the HSN Fulfillment Center. Unluckily for me, I purchased my reformer in plenty of time to receive it for Christmas (October 2013). The big push by the host was this - "You could try it until Christmas because they were extending the return days for this item until 30 days after Christmas!"

NEVER, and I repeat NEVER, did they mention they would not furnish a return label - meaning that I it did not qualify for the "Easy Return" and the return would be charged to ME (a total of $59). And just in case you think that was just an oversight and that they don't know would influence your purchasing of the item, get this...

There is no mention for the proper return FOR THIS item on the back the shipping label. The small and insufficient label they provide for the return doesn't even have the correct address!!!

So when I was confused about the return procedure, I called HSN. The first agent I spoke with told me that because my item shipped directly from the manufacturer, I would be getting a call from UPS to arrange for a pick-up of the item. HE FAILED TO MENTION MY ITEM DIDN'T QUALIFY FOR "EASY SHIPPING" AND I WOULD BE PAYING FOR THE RETURN. When I didn't hear from UPS in a week, I called HSN again. This agent tells me that my request for a shipping label was denied because my item never qualified for the "Easy Return" 30-day policy EVER. He went so far as to say that VERY FEW ITEMS ship back FOR FREE. He did give me the correct address to ship the item to - THE HSN FULFILLMENT CENTER - not the manufacturer! They blamed the manufacturer for not participating in the 'easy return', but it is obvious this is HSN's policy about high priced items.

Yesterday, I finally received a letter (not email or phone call) about being denied the return label. The letter told me to follow the directions on the back of the shipping label to return the item on my own. Since this address was different than the one the second agent gave me, I called HSN AGAIN to verify the return address and procedure. The third agent was very kind and understanding and I told her I was calling because I felt HSN was INTENTIONALLY DECEPTIVE on the TV, as was the first agent I spoke with who didn't seem to know that my item never would be able to receive a return label. It was an intentional time delay - as was the letter sent by snail mail!

I don't know why there hasn't been a class action lawsuit against these people yet, but after reading the complaints posted here, it seems to me that HSN is intentionally omitting information from the TV broadcasts and are withholding information about return policies upon the time of purchase. I would be happy to join a lawsuit against these people. I know that all those that purchased tablets and other electronics this Christmas will be facing the same problem if they wish to return their purchase. I will NEVER purchase anything from HSN again. It will never be worth the pain that this has caused me, and I refuse to deal with a company that is INTENTIONALLY misleading people.

I ordered an item on 12/23/13. It said originally 5-7 days shipping. On the 27th I got an email saying it was in route and anticipated on 12/29. On 12/31 I saw that it was in the UPS center in the adjacent town at 5:30 a.m. In the past that always meant it would be delivered that day. It did not happen. Today I checked and saw it was taken to the local post office. Why? Because that is how HSN set it up. Why didn't UPS just deliver it here?? THEN to make matters worse, I contacted our small post office to find out that no, I could not go down to pick it up since those packages don't get sorted until tomorrow! Which means I might get it on January 4th, Saturday. I called customer service and emailed HSN. No explanation could be given. Seems to me they could have kept it all on UPS and kept a customer. NEVER again. I'll pay the extra money and get it today locally.

The first order I placed with HSN was a tablet for my mom for Christmas. I ordered it on Flexplay and it was delivered quickly and I was very happy with them so I decided to do a lot of my Christmas shopping through HSN. I next ordered a wall-mounted fireplace, a tv and a pre-paid cell phone. They told me the fireplace would get here by Christmas. (Today is the day after and it's not here.) It's been over a week and still hasn't left their warehouse. They cancelled the tv and cell phone because I chose the Flexpay option and they ran a credit check and my credit is bad due to my recent divorce. I understood I guess but what I didn't appreciate is the notification I received about the cancelled order claiming I was trying to de-fraud them.

(Apparently to them, anyone who tries to buy an electronic item with Flexpay and has less than perfect credit is a fraud risk, but instead of wording it that way, they accuse you of fraud!) That's no way to treat a customer!! I was livid and requested my credit card be credited back the money I'd already paid. They told me it would be within 72 hours. It's been 6 days as of right now and they won't reply to my emails. I consider this criminal action when they are keeping MY money. Hundreds of $$. That is theft. According to the aggressive, obnoxious HSN Hostess (who clearly knew little about the difference between a laptop and a tablet) AND the on-air product graphics, I was paying about 1/2 of the $2400 "Retail Value" for my tablet. Later that day I was on the phone with my son and told him about my purchase, positive he would be proud of bargain. Instead, he informed me he had seen the IDENTICAL tablet at Best Buy's for $698, about HALF of what I paid HSN. Yes, HSN always "bundles" their high ticket, name brand electronics to give them a higher "Retail Value" - this bundle included earphones, and charger and an auto charger - NONE of which ANYONE needs. Plus "$500" worth of software, such as "Hallmark Greetings" which one can buy for $30 anywhere and some version of "Word" which is good for 30 days, after which you much purchase the program. It is REALLY a scam - the REAL "suggested retail" was closer to $1000 than the $2400 they list.

More annoying than this "bundling" of Electronics to perhaps "legally" list suggested retails which are easily DOUBLE the cost of electronics that any wise shopper could find at "Amazon" and "Best Buys", is this "Flex Pay" gimmick. Flex Pay is simply HSN allowing their customers to spread their Credit/Debit Card purchases over 4 or 5 months. So a $100 purchase is $20 for five months - with no interest. This is nice, but what's in it for HSN? Easy, the host continuously refers to this item as a purchase "you can have in your home for only $20!" It's EASY for a customer to actually believe the cost of the item is $20. PLUS, it's a lie anyway because the first payment will include the shipping and tax. So that "$20" item is actually a $27 item "to get it home".

YES, I think MANY of the HSN customers are confused by this Flex Pay Double Talk. Listen to the average customer that is put through to speak "LIVE WITH A HOST". These customers ALL sound like 68-year-old widows - lonely and little to do but spend their money on crap they don't need from HSN. I have heard customers on the air being asked how "excited" they were about their purchase of the iPad - and they said, "Honestly, I really don't know what an iPad is"!

And this leads me to my final complaint. HSN has some of the most aggressive, obnoxious Hosts on the air. They have all the style and finesse of used car salesmen of the 50s. When HSN presents a computer or new electronic item, they have a few guest hosts who are EXPERTS in their fields - they can describe everything and every function of the laptop you are considering to purchase (because you don't know how to Google it and find it at Amazon). As this expert tries to chat, the obnoxious host continuously interrupts him - as if there is a competition for "air-time". One particularly obnoxious Hostess just says "Uh-huh" and "Mmm" and "Yes!" after every statement the expert makes. You CAN"T HEAR about the laptop because the HOSTESS is so fat and obnoxious.

We proceeded to buy a new TV stand, the old one wouldn't accommodate a 60'' TV, and waited. I called about 3 or 4 times to make sure that all was okay, not having previously bought anything so important through a TV Shopping Network. I was assured the TV was in the warehouse. On the 19, worried now that I haven't heard from them regarding delivery, I called again, and at first they said the TV was in the warehouse. When I insisted, they said there was a problem at the warehouse. No further clarification was given me. They said that if it doesn't show "shipped" by the 21, they will cancel my order. I emailed their customer care dept, and I got stock responses back. The order was cancelled on the 22, at my express request, because all I could get from them was...nothing. There was a problem at the warehouse.

I wish there was a way for people in my position to bring this to the attention of the higher-ups in the company. They probably oversold the product, and here we are. Time wasted, disappointments (my husband wanted a flat screen smart TV for a long time), aggravations with having to call and call and tell the story I don't know how many times...all for no satisfaction. When I didn't receive my order, I checked the confirmation email for a tracking number. While looking for the number, I saw that the address was incorrect. I called the post office to see if the package was delivered and to my surprise it was. I called HSN to inform them that the package was sent and received to and at the wrong address. I explained that the post office personnel said that they couldn't reclaim the package (which makes sense). I was told that they would ship another order out to my correct address.

So great, I'm thinking. Then I get a letter telling me that I am responsible for the misdelivered package. I called to inquire about the non-and sense letter and was told I would receive a call back from another department in a few days in response to the letter. No one called and after 6 days of calling I was finally told that the second charge has been removed from my account. After a total of 10 days I received my package.

I'm just glad I didn't opt for the recurring shipments. I can only imagine what errors would have been made! I did stumble upon their channel a few nights ago - they changed to channel 3 in area (smart choice on their part). I ordered another item my phone because the incorrect address was still attached to my phone number and therefore I could not place the order through the TV. I thought about it and the countdown was on for my item so I called to place my order. I asked the rep to confirm the mailing address and it was still wrong. I corrected her and three times during the call I had her confirm the correct address.

Needless to say, the item has yet to ship. I realize that I'd do better researching the item for a decent price and ordering from another company. Amazon hasn't failed me yet with over 25 orders placed in the past two years!

Now my mom is trying to order from them and they have cancelled her account for no reason, probably because I am her daughter. These people are treating me as if I have stolen from them or not paid them.. I need to shop from my house as I am semi-handicapped but more than that, they have insulted me when they know I pay them ahead of time. Someone should look into this, evidently no one is. They don't take responsibility for their mistakes as far as orders and shipping problems go. It's like they're saying to you, "Sorry it's your problem, deal with it." Which is rude and unprofessional and I don't want to deal with a company like that. Won't be ordering from them anymore. Once was enough.

Ordered a 47" Westinghouse TV for my husband for Father's Day. Received it and set it up. After a couple of days noticed a spot on screen. Called Westinghouse and described it and was told it was a defect and that I should send it back to HSN. So I called them to get the procedures and they told me they were sold out and were going to contact manufacturer to see if they could send one to exchange. I returned the TV on a Monday by UPS and called them and this time they told me they had some TV's in stock and as soon as they would receive the TV back to the warehouse they would send one out to me. So UPS showed the delivery to be back to them on Thursday.

Called on Friday and they said yes they received back the TV I had sent but they didn't have anymore TV in stock; they had sold out. So again I get told that someone is working in contacting the manufacturer to see if they can get one. So I wait again till the end of the week and they tell me "No we are sending you a refund check." I told them I didn't want a refund, I want a TV. This is not my mess up, it is yours. Asked them if they could replace it with another and they said No. This company has no sympathy or consideration for their customers. I will never buy from them again. Very Disappointed, Angry and Dissatisfied Customer. Oh the bummer of this is that I gave away my old TV!!!!!!

I rec'd a letter back saying I could return it, full refund; however, I would have to pay postage and they suggested insurance. Okay, that was for $170 back... it cost me $82!!! I did not receive a refund as they said I would; they gave me a credit. So, had I known that, I would have just kept the bedding and donated it to an animal shelter and not spent the extra $80 to ship!!!

I purchased a Samsung TV and was very excited but a week into enjoying the TV, it stopped working properly. I wanted to keep it but it had too many issues. Samsung says I should not be having those issues with the TV and suggested I have HSN replace it. I called HSN and it started off great. Then Senior Account Manager said, "We are sold out." After escalating the issue, they decided to offer 2 different replacements which were the older version than the one I purchased... I refused both. Then they offered another TV which was great and discounted the item.

Since HSN did not know when they would get it, I proceeded to order the TV. I started calculating the Taxes and what were my monthly payments and initial payment amount. The taxes on the item were $40 higher and the initial payment for $200 more than their amount. I asked the Senior Account Manager to tell me how they were getting those amounts and all they would say was the system does it for them. I thought it was strange that training on HSN system, the trainer did not break it down for them. I continued to push for an answer and finally she said that the system used the original price instead of the discounted price and this was after 3 calls. HSN taxes should be calculated according to the state the customer is in and on the discounted price.

On the fourth day, I started calling again. A representative was told to tell that she had left for the day. I was transferred to another Senior Manager which placed me on hold for over 5 minutes. She said that she had to get everything together. I laughed because the Senior Account Manager that had left was helping the other Senior Account Manager. What they did not know is I will utilize the Consumer Agency so I concentrated on the Florida agencies for resolution. With assurance of the agency, I placed the order and they will follow-up. I'm still waiting on a call from their Escalations Department.

I've been with HSN since 2007. I've shopped every year, every month, every other month and have spent so much money money on them through the years. Just this past year in October 2012, I was doing early holiday shopping for my family, friends and special people in my life. However, a lot of my orders that I've ordered came damaged, leaking, broken or just torn (broken, empty boxes). I had my order that was left by UPS totally empty and nothing was in it. I contacted HSN in. They had me on hold, switched me from service rep to one supervisor to another for two hours. Finally I was told that in order for me to get a full credit for the order, I need to file a police report and call UPS. Then call HSN back to give them the police report number, and they can process my refund. I did just what they told me so and was told by the account manager that HSN will credit me for the order I never received. That should be the end of that.

Three weeks later my bank card was charged for the orders over and over again by 8-10 times. The same day I received in the mail a total of fourteen letters from HSN telling me that if I do not return my order back to HSN, I will be charged for the third installment by the end of the month. Again I called HSN back and spoke to more than ten service reps and account manager. They said they will take care of the matter and I will not be charged again. I since have called every week to HSN. They again told me to fax my police report and send a copy of the report. Then and only then will HSN refund my money, although they have told me weeks before that it was taken care of.

After calls and calls from October 2012 to the weeks into December 2012, once the account manager finally cancelled that order and refunded me my money. Although my accounts was charged with so many times and overdrafted my funds. I've asked HSN to put a notice on my account that I have a problem with the account, so please respond to me by phone or email to let me know of any unauthorized charges. I then went under radiation treatment for cancer and was very sick. In February 2013 and March 2013, I was feeling a bit better and had authorized the nurse staff, who cares for me, to order products from HSN. I will pay for it.

I was told by my nurses that a lot of orders were broken, leaking and was not sealed at all. I told them to return and I do not want any gifts ordered to be unhappy purchases. Again, an order was returned to HSN. To my surprise, the nurses told me two weeks later that the same box/order is back from HS. It now was even more damaged and leaking all over my front porch. I checked my tracking number and it stated that it was in HSN's warehouse. I then called my post office and asked if they can help me with this matter. The manager at the office checked that the package was returned by me to HSN, and that all the information it has. They were questionable of how the package should be at HSN's warehouse, but somehow had a new label. They sent it right to me again for the second time.

The postal manager advised me to call UPS and have taken the package so that I and UPS can track the package. I did so, along with calling and calling HSN. I spoke with so many representatives, account manager and was told that there was something wrong with the order and the return was not in the same condition as it was first sent to me. You need to call the security department. Then from the security dept, they told me to call the manager who blocked my account. I called and called. The man messaged me, but he never called me back. Then the end of February 2013 to April of 2013, HSN never once called me, never once emailed or sent me one letter to inform me what was wrong with my account.

In May 2013 I called back and asked to speak with a manager. A woman came on and told me that she was the account manager. She told me my account was closed and a manager had reviewed it, and had closed it. "Is there any other business that you have with HSN today?" This is my story and it happened to me in such a bad way, which left me asking HSN... Where is your customer service? Where are my rights as a consumer? What happened to my account, which left my lost? I questioned the nurses that care for me if they abused any orders or returns, but I will never know because HSN felt they don't need to contact any customers for any reasons. They just close your account with NO REASONS given and that's the end of that.

This is wrong. This is not what they claimed when their host repeatedly said on air everyday..."If you're not happy for any reasons. If you changed your minds, even if you used up the whole bottle and end up with the empty jar, we will be more than happy to refund you your money. We here at HSN wants you to be happy at any thing you purchase from us. So for any reason you're not happy, just send it back to us and we'll take good care of you." This was not the case. HSN failed again and again to do the right thing. They abuse their power and caused me many months of jumping hoops, many phones, emails, overdrafts and charges on my account again and again, when the matter should have been closed.

Whenever any HSN employees tells me not to worry and they will take care if, they NEVER did. Worst was when I sent my returns to HSN and it arrived at their warehouse. HSN just reprinted a new label and resent it back to me, forced me to keep the products that were leaking, broken and smelled. Then they just closed my account all together??? Still today I never found out what happened to my account - what went wrong or even who did what and why. It was closed without any notices.

Shame on you HSN! Shame on the lies and the abusive power over your longtime customers. People should have a choice and consumers should have their rights to know what happened. HSN felt they should give me any form of communications or services. Shame on HSN for taking my money, but giving me nothing but pain and bad services, if any at all.

I returned a dress using their smart return label on Feb. 28th. Every day I checked on it and finally on March 7, 8 days later, HSN told me the post office scanned it in Chicago where I live. Why was it still there 8 days later? They then said it was insured and I shouldn't worry, but they insisted that even though it was in the post office possession, that I would continue to be charged until they received it in their warehouse. And if they ever did refund me, I would be rebilled if it never arrived in the warehouse. Now they can see that the item is due to be delivered to them today, and I am told they still are not going to reimburse me for this item unworn and with the tag still on it. If they acknowledge that I haven't had it, then why are they making me wait for a refund?

I have had some other bad experiences with them. The customer service people are often arrogant, condescending and smug, talking to you in sing song voices as though they are speaking to a child. I read quite a few reviews on this site as well as Pissed Consumer, and I recognized some of the stories told. I love Andrew Lessman vitamins, but I also am not shopping with HSN anymore. Hoover was unable to solve the issue by phone, so they said they would send a FedEx Label via email to pick it up which they did. But they sent a link rather than the label and after printing, it disappeared.

Three weeks later we had heard nothing. So, we called Hoover who amazingly only showed they sent us a label but didn't have the label number verifying it had arrived. They could not help me. I called HSN and told them I was getting ready for my first payment on a vacuum cleaner I never got to use. They said, "I hope you get that resolved." After many frustrating emails later, they determined that even though I had done exactly what they told me to do, they would not help me solve this issue and I could continue to pay for the vacuum cleaner I don't even have.

They refused to investigate Hoover or FedEx on my behalf, even though towards the end they said they would. The next call, the man was very rude and said that because I went to Hoover instead of them, it was my responsibility (bear in mind that that was exactly what they told me to do). On October 31, 2012, I placed an order with HSN that totaled 6 line items. I received the initial shipment from HSN (shipping time impacted by Hurricane Sandy), but it was missing 2 of the 6 items ordered. After waiting an appropriate amount of time to see if the missing 2 items would be shipped separately, I contacted HSN customer service. A very pleasant representative took my complaint and promptly shipped out the missing 2 items (which had already been paid for, but not delivered). Fine. Issue resolved by early December 2012, or so I thought. Then on February 9, 2013, my credit card was charged for the 2 missing items from the original order (paid for at the time of the original order) resulting in my being charged twice for these 2 items. This was done with no notice from HSN by phone, email or USPS mail.

Is it legal for any company to simply charge for items identified by the customer as short-shipped several months later with no notice? HSN was aware of the short-shipment and rectified the problem by reshipping the 2 missing items. Why then months later would they charge my credit card for these 2 missing items, especially without contacting me about it first? I'm sure they conducted an internal investigation and even contacted the shipper, but how would the shipper know if all the ordered items were delivered? I'm not claiming the shipment didn't arrive, but I am claiming that the order arrived without all the items originally ordered (short-ship).

I did receive the 2nd shipment of the missing items from the original order. 2 months later and with no notice or advance communication, my credit card is charged for these 2 items (again). Of course, I contacted customer service immediately upon noting these charges on my credit card statement and demanded that credits be issued immediately. I was politely informed that my request would be sent to customer accounts and if they had any questions, they would call me. A minimum of 5 business days is required to process my refund request at customer accounts and then additional time is required to process the refund to my credit account.

Does HSN have the right to charge me for items previously identified as short-shipped without any prior explanation or notice? Why did they reship the 2 items missing from the original order without charge in December if there was any question? The whole thing seems to be a very liberal use of my credit card under less than forthright circumstances. As soon as this issue is resolved and I receive my refund, I intend to cancel my HSN account forever. Seems they cannot be trusted.

Total disappointment all the way! This was a gift for my son for Christmas and it was his only gift. The look in his eyes when he opened this was priceless! First, I was worried that I wouldn't get it on time and luckily, I did receive it on time (not that it mattered). I gave this to him on Christmas Eve so he would have some time to get it together, set it up and play with it because we have 30+ people over on Christmas Day and it's hectic. My son played around with it for maybe 90 minutes because it was late and he had to get to sleep. On Christmas Day, after everything calmed down and dinner was over, he got it out of the box to use it and he couldn't get it to come back on. We tried everything. We even tried searching for help online. Since it was Christmas, there was nothing I could do that day.

The next day, we made some calls and found out this was a big issue with these tablets and several people were having the same problem. So on Dec. 28, 2012, I notified HSN and told them I would be returning it and I would like a replacement. The same day, I took it to UPS because they would be closed the next 3 days due to the weekend and New Year's Day and I wanted to get it on its way. They gave me a delivery date for Jan. 7 which I thought was a long time to deliver it, but what can I do? I started calling HSN to find out what was going on with it once I seen it had been delivered (I tracked the package). They noted the delivery and told me that once it ships, I would see a tracking # on my order so I could track its whereabouts. After another week, still no tracking # so I called and had a live chat with them. They told me they give the warehouse 8 days to re-ship.

I waited another 8 days and still no tracking # or anything indicating it has been shipped yet. Again, I had a live chat with them and they assured me it wouldn't be much longer. I told then that my second payment was due the following day and that I am not paying for something I don't even have. She told me she could back the payment up for a month to give time for me to receive the new one. Twelve days after they received my return, they emailed me and told me that the serial # had been peeled off therefore, they would not be replacing my tablet, nor were they going to refund my money! Are you joking me? I don't know anything about a serial # and that tablet was packed up to be sent back 2 days after Christmas. The item was defective so how do they know there was a serial # attached in the first place or how do they know it didn't peel off with the packaging? What would the purpose be for me or my son to remove the serial # off the tablet? That would be pretty stupid on my part seeing how I knew I had to return it.

Reading all the reviews on this tablet, I think they took a big loss on these and tried to save their **. The point is they had my return for 12 days and I called immediately and they know this tablet came from them! So my son is without a Christmas present and I am out $360. I have shopped with HSN for many years and have never had a problem like this before. Please advise me if there is anything at all I can do about this or anyone I can contact concerning this. I know HSN is a big company and I am only one customer so they're not hurting by losing my business. I have several transcripts of my chats and emails from HSN. Thank you.

I ordered a SodaStream from HSN on Dec 11. I mistakenly put in my old address (I had just moved). When I didn't get it, I called to find out why and that's when I was told that UPS was trying to get a correct address. The HSN person took my new address and said she would change it and get the product sent to me. I didn't receive and I called back and was told that HSN couldn't change the address, that I would have to call UPS. I did and UPS told me that I couldn't change my address, that the shipper had to. I went back and forth between HSN (who told me that if they got it back, they would refund my money) and UPS until finally a wonderful UPS lady changed the address for me and it shipped to my new address. But it wasn't complete. It was missing two of the carbonating bottles.

So I called HSN who said they would have those shipped to me within 15 days. I had the HSN lady read my new address back to me and told her of the original problem and that I didn't want that to happen again. She read my new address and assured me that's where the bottles they had neglected to send me would be shipped. I received nothing. I called back today only to find out they had shipped to original wrong address. Guess what? HSN wanted me to call UPS! I told them this was their error, so after almost an hour on the phone, HSN said she had reordered (I had her read the new address to me where they are supposed to be shipped) and this time it will take 21 days! Three weeks to get what should have been in the original package, but they failed to put in it.

I demanded they expedite the package but for some reason, they said they couldn't do that. Clearly, HSN cares nothing about retaining customers. What kind of management does this company have? I see a class action suit in their future. They are quick to take the money, but getting the product to you is beyond their power apparently.
