All the clothes come with holes. You can't see until after you wear them, I check the seams in the store and they're good, but it's when I get home and really try them on and look at them is when I notice it every time.

The store at milwaukee near college ave and 13st needs some attention. Clothes are on the floor constantly and the men bathrooms are dirty. Supervisor needs to put more effort to maintain the store a little better.

I bought a watch as a Christmas Gift. When it was opened on Christmas morning, I discovered it was broken. I attempted to return it. I was accused of breaking the watch and told they won't return any item not in perfect condition. I checked other watches on the shelf and they were all broken. I brought it to their attention and they say they don't check their products before they sell them. I contacted customer service and told this is their policy. They knowingly sell broken products and then blame the customer.

I shop at Lake Success Mall, NewHydePark, New York branch. I am very happy with the customer care and cashier's service. I just had to inform about a product called Compound Kings Butter Cloudz Silky Buttery compound. It is good for playing like a stretchy texture. Comes in rainbow colors and a bucket type storage container. The problem was when my girls tried to mix it up I am not sure if it was supposed to be mixed together, it turned to a GREY COLOR. Honestly don’t know if it was because of too much mixing.

This comment is for the person up front, called customer service?? I just talked to the rudest person that works for Burlington Coat Factory. Very, very rude person. Does not know how to talk to anyone. I am giving a 0 even though there's not a 0. This is the store in Dover, I don't have to mention any names because she knows who she is. That's what matters.

The staff and manager at the West Babylon location are the best…Especially Jantra!!!..One of the store's manager. She bought my daughter a Christmas present and that is the nicest and kindest thing ever…She is always kind….Friendly and very sweet….Her customer service is top tier…And she deserves a raise and recognition for her hard work and kindness. Jantra you are truly an amazing person! Thank you so much for making my baby’s day and her Christmas so much better!

Burlington store in Stone Mountain hwy (770) 985-4359, wanted my 3 yr old to try an outfit, and Nicola (I'm sure she gave me a wrong name). Told me that the dressing room so is closed and will not open. And walked away. Terrible experience.

I have attempted to return an item to this east side location 5 times at varying times. Each time there are 30-50 people in line with 3-4 cashiers. It’s Sunday at 11:47a and once again, 50 folks deep and 3 cashiers. I am convinced that this poor treatment of customers has to do with location of this store. I’m going to another location in the suburbs to see if it’s the same. This is shameful. I’ve submitted a review to the company also.

I am always pleased when I shop at Burlington in Manchester CT. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also you can’t beat the prices. I recommend everyone go and check the store out. This is my new favorite place to shop.

I wouldn't give it even one star because of the attitude of the employees. I went to return some bras the first day I used it, the bar came off the brassier. When I went to return it, the cashier just told me that I couldn't return it. They called the manager and he was too lazy to come. I spoke to customer services and they told me that since I damage the brassier, I couldn't get my money back. I didn't damaged the brassier. Burlington sells very poor quality. I will never return to this store. It's the worst.

The managers at Burlington @ Kings Plaza Mall is disrespectful, rude and not very helpful. For instance, I was interested in a Karl Lagerfeld bucket bag. The bag did not have a Burlington price tag. The cashier told me to speak with one of the managers that was standing in a corner talking, when she was told a customer wanted to speak with her, the response was “I am only one person’s and I don’t have time to speak right now”.
I watch her leave where I was standing and when to stand by another registered without asking what can I assist with. We had already spent almost $200 in the store. Why are customers treated as if we are begging for handouts and not paying for the merchandise at Burlington? This is not the first time a manager is rude to us. I am sorry to say I am not comfortable shopping at Burlington @ Kings Plaza, I prefer leaving my neighbor and going to the gateway location. I understand retail job is not easy. I have worked in that industry before but it’s inexcusable to be rude to paying customers.

I am very disappointed in your policies. How can you lock up a woman with a mother with cancer and act like you don't care what happened to see if she needs help when you first noticed the problem. No. You would rather hurt her. I will be sharing this all over media. People have a right to know how you treat your employees and not helping to the point they have to take what is not theirs. Burlington is just as wrong.

I love Burlington. The bargains are great. Discounted designers items. But customer service is awful. Long checkout line and desk clerks are talky talky negative and abusive tones. Particularly so called managers. I complained my personal experience in getting a security wired up $59. Dollar bag. Took over 25 minutes and was told issue due to thievery. I'm 82 and fragile. I was mocked by desk clerk who started talking and wouldn't stop explaining which was lengthy and completely noncompliance with my need as customer. Treated as a criminal. Noncaring attitude.

Completely unprofessional, this company cannot be trusted. They just charge you extra with no explanation. Don't walk from this company. Run. The person who handled my billing questions was rude and had just did not care that I was being overcharged.

I used to be a customer for Burlington for more than 5 years, then a mistake happened when my wife was paying the credit card bill, instead of paying $7.60 she paid $7.06 and thought that our balance is zero, unfortunately for that .64 cent I’ve been charged late fees and interest two times which make my balance $38.40, I called customer service to explain the issue but the girl is speaking a very bad English with a hard Accent could not help me, talking to a supervisor wasn’t helpful either. They only removed one late fee and refused to understand the mistake happened. I closed my account right away and will not ever shop in that place anymore. They absolutely had a stupid customer service, and can’t satisfy a customer. Shame on you.

I visited the newly opened Burlington store in Bartlett, TN today. I was So disappointed. It is small and has the feel of being in a five and dime store. Very cluttered and merchandise looks cheap. Should have chosen a larger building. I doubt much shopping will be done their. I definitely will not shop there. I was in and immediately out.

Today, I went to the Store #1496. 1490 Union Turnpike, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 to return of 4 jeans pants out of 7 jeans. I bought it just a week ago but lost the receipt. I gave all pants with tags and told I have lost receipt. They said, I have to have my credit card. I provide the card, they don't find it. I logged in the credit card and showed that I bought it July 12, (Today July 22), still they don't find it. I told the store manager, Trust me this the credit card I used. She just get RUDE and told "I don't trust anybody"...and got surprised. How she became soo mean...I just told, Computer can do a lot, but you have to learn the computer how to use it.

Yesterday, I visited Burlington store Novi location, I was amazed by their security guard Sean and how he handled the angry customer, I was there, I saw everything, he was just trying to help her by directing her to register line, (I saw her trying to go in front of the line), when this customer went off on him and started to yell at him and stated “his job was to keep his eye on door and catch the people who are stealing“. Sean kept calm while this lady was screaming. I went to him and apologised on that lady’s behalf, and told him to not to think of what she said and he was doing his job and myself and many customers that visit the store appreciate him to begin kind and greetings every customer that walks to the store appreciate, which you don’t see that anywhere you go. I made sure his store manager was aware of Sean’s attitude towards that anger customer. To Sean “keep the good work and we as customers appreciated you a lot.“

Burlington store, 350 Baychester Ave, Bronx, NY It appears that this merchant is stealing by charging double to a significant number of customers like me. For example, I have been there the last two times and I was charged twice for an item, this shows that many other customers are scamming him the same way. Please beware of this blatant Burlington store scam.

I waited in line for more than 20 minutes. When I asked the employee that followed me around the store the whole time I was there, to help get people checked out they told me that’s not their job. The cashiers seem to move as slow as possible on purpose. They put more energy in stopping people from stealing than they do to make sure the customers that are paying are taken care of. It’s a shame one of my favorite stores.

First and foremost you don't pay your employees but $12.68. Secondly l, then you are making things difficult using the employee discount. Where is the incentive for working for you all? I've only gotten 2 reassess in 4 years.

While waiting in the Line the Manager felt it was best to pull my cart to the side and call people who only had 2 or 3 items ahead of me. Had I been asked I probably wouldn't have minded. When I asked her why she was calling people a head of me, She stated, "she needs to get her line down". After waiting in line for 15 minutes and to be what I thought was next in line. Just to be completely disrespected. I just walked out, leaving my $300 cart sitting there. Not only did this business lose money but now you have to put it all away. I get what she thought she was doing, but she obviously is not well versed in business. I do most of my shopping online and today was just a reminder to keep it that way. People suck!

I'm writing this review while I'm waiting in line. There is close to 250 people waiting in line, some of which have family members with them. I have been in line 1 hour 19 minutes so far. Probably about another 30 to 45 minutes left in line to go. The line has 3 cashiers. The Mgr is behind the counter messing with coat hangers. She's so lazy. She should open a register to help her cashiers. The cashiers are going fast as they can. The worst managed store in history. I have pictures and videos if corporate want to see. No exaggerating whatsoever.

I am Amazed that Burlington Coat Factory is even in business! If I could give a zero star to a store they would be right next to Dee Dee's discount!! They have Trash quality clothing. I remember decades ago they were much better and absolutely loved the variety of coats they used to sell. I mean it was called Burlington Coat Factory for a reason, Coats! Now they have imported clothing from God knows who?! But they need to rethink this more through. Not just myself but others have been talking about how the quality has dropped tremendously. I was disrespected at Burlington today. 1/10/25. While I was there I found some sweats that I liked. Went to pay for them and was treated like a common criminal. I went to pay for my stuff and the guy at the register goes and gets the manager. The manager comes over and tells me, "We can't take," my money. I had paid with a 100 dollar bill. They acted as if I had made a counterfeit. When I stated I just got this from the bank which I did and pulled out 4 more 100 dollar bills. They wanted to take my money then. Because I am ** I am now a thief. I have a good job. To be disrespected like that is unforgivable. I watched a lady 2 registers down pay with a 100 dollar bill as well. Nobody went and got a manager. But to be honest. She wasn't a 6ft ** man like myself. So that was the difference. I have stopped thiefs at the door when my girlfriend was a manager at that Burlington. So to be treated that way is very upsetting. I will make sure everyone see this.

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an unpleasant and distressing experience I had at Burlington located at 1596 Ethan Way, Sacramento, on January 4th, 2025. Upon entering the store, I was approached by staff members who accused me of being associated with an individual they claimed had stolen merchandise and left the store. I was informed that I had to leave the premises based on this accusation, despite the fact that I had not stolen anything, nor had I even interacted with the individual in question.
I was shocked and deeply upset by this unwarranted accusation, as I was neither involved in any theft nor had any knowledge of the alleged incident. I found the staff’s behavior to be not only rude but also aggressive. Their actions made me feel humiliated and unfairly targeted in front of other customers, creating an atmosphere where I was wrongly assumed to be guilty without cause.
As a person of **, I strongly consider this incident to be racist. It is difficult for me to ignore the possibility that I was singled out due to my appearance, and this perception only deepened the sense of injustice and distress I felt during the encounter. Being unfairly targeted in this manner has left me deeply upset, as I expected to be treated with respect and dignity as a paying customer. Instead, I was subjected to undue harassment and treated as though I were guilty without cause.
I am requesting a formal apology for the harassment I endured and a thorough review of your staff’s conduct during this incident. Furthermore, I would appreciate clarification on your store’s policies regarding customer interactions and how you plan to address any potential racial profiling that may have occurred. I would also like to understand what steps Burlington Coat Factory is taking to prevent such an incident from happening again in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will take appropriate action to restore confidence in your brand and ensure that all customers are treated fairly, regardless of their appearance. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this issue.

Terrible service as usual in West Palm Beach. Waste of time. The manager named Andrea just dismissed me and my concerns completely. No cashiers. Plenty of people working but no one cared that the line was 40 deep. No wonder box stores are going out of business.

I am using this store in East Windsor more than 17 years but in this year I am very disappointed. When I was at store with my family I have to go restroom but they give me a big surprise that they close the restroom so I have to go out and drive for other store and come back to join my family. I have no control on my discharge due to age so I get an extremely hard time. I am not happy with their behavior/decision after 17 years. They have to have public restrooms. This is a big cheating/joke with sick people or handicapped. Please someone, Manager or Management take interest in favor of public. THANKS

Bought a pair of sneakers and tried to return them but Burlington refused to accept them saying they “are dirty and we don’t sell dirty shoes”. I have been a customer there for years and yes they have dirty shoes on the racks. I had my receipt, the label was still attached, the price tag which held the left and the right shoes together was still attached. I don’t know how I could have walked with that. In addition, the manager was extremely rude!! Granted I brought the shoes back a few days after 30 days but do not even offer a store credit for dirty shoes that I purchased from the store in the same condition that I bought them in is robbery!!
