I have read quite a few reviews on how dangerous the scent plug ins can be for your pets. I have pets that I love dearly and nothing I do not care how good they may smell is worth me going through the trauma that these folks did. Losing a pet because of this! I would really like to hear what the company has to say about all this! It is very scary! I have not seen one response from the company yet addressing this issue! Please say something. I cannot believe you would risk the life of any living thing just to make some bucks!

I bought a tonne of stuff from Bath & Body Works on Black Friday weekend. It was supposed to arrive on 10th Dec and on 4th Dec they mailed me saying it has already been shipped. 10th Dec passed and when I checked the tracking it said it'll be delivered on 11th and that it was at the facility. It wasn't delivered on the 11th. I contacted customer service by mail and haven't received a reply. I tried tracking it on the UPS site and now it doesn't have an estimated date anymore. The customer call center thinks it's best to wait. After almost 3 weeks of waiting this is highly unreasonable and very inefficient. Not the product but the online shopping and delivery system is just painful. I am still awaiting my parcel which I'm not sure might even arrive.

I bought three different transactions. When I got home I realized I was missing two items. I called the store and talked to a manager who said to bring my receipt and she would give me the items. I said I could not come until the next day due to the weather (it was raining cats and dogs). She said it was no problem. When I went back the next day, I spoke to another manager, gave him my receipt and after 5 minutes of waiting he came back and said he watched the video and I got all of my products and that I must have been gravely mistaken and if it wasn't against policy he would bring me back and show me the tape. I left the store and called customer service. Once I got a store representative (they have online and store people) she said that the policy is once you leave the store you are responsible for your items. I said that is not sufficient and I wanted a manager.

She then offered me a $45 gift card and ordered all of the items I was missing plus 2 extra candles and gift bag that I tried to get but was out at the store. I was very please. She was going to overnight it and I was to receive it by Tuesday. I did get the gift card. For a week I kept calling about the shipment. Each time I was told it was in process. Finally, a manager told me that I was not going to get the shipment that I lied about not getting the items per the store and they would only give me another $15 gift card for my trouble as the $45 was for my experience. They said there was no one here that I could speak to and that I was just out of luck and that I was lucky to get what I was getting. I spend a lot of money in that store over $550 in 3 months for gifts and I can't believe how I was treated by everyone!

There is no way I could tell the repeated bad experiences I have had both in the store or online with this company in just 3 weeks!! I have spent well over 350.00 $ That should have been much less. I am on a fixed income and they never once applied my coupons that they took... 3 times I got home with wrong products!!! When I explained to the manager what had happened, I got, "Oh I’m sorry here is 3 more USELESS coupons to use when you buy more stuff!!!" Then 2 days later the lotions bottles I paid full price for at 12.50! Go on sale for 2.95!!! I am DONE with Bath & Body Works!! I left out that they sent me to go fetch products to get prices. While they stood behind the counter talking... And I am searching the store!

I have been a loyal customer for 15-20 years. I am done. All of the body sprays have been watered down to the point of uselessness. They literally disappear within 10 minutes of use. The body creams still soften but the smell is nonexistent. The wallflowers no longer work after the first day. Save your money for Yankee Candle and Ultra if you are tired of being ripped off by Bath and Body Works.

To make a long story short I looked online and saw where people were talking about returning their wallflowers because they just stopped working. So I called customer service and I spoke with several people and they all told me different things. One lady I spoke with said that I could take them back to the store. I tried taking them back on Tuesday and was told I would have to buy new ones because they only last for two years. The cashier called customer service and explained the situation and they told her not to take them back. I go out to my car and call them myself. I spoke with a man that stated they were supposed to take them back and he would give me an e-gift card in the amount of 50.00$ within 48 hours which is today. He also took my complaint. My issue is that everyone should be aware of their store's policies and procedures. They should also have a way for complainants to know what the status of their complaint is.

BBW does not sell direct online to Canadians. I recently had an accident and am left with a fractured back and unable to attend the store for XMAS purchase. Tried to order online and was shocked at checkout that it was in US funds equaling more than 40% higher cost than in the Canadian store. When I called the Winnipeg Store, the clerk was short and said there was no possibility I could order direct from them, I had to go through the US website at the higher rate.

This is a rip off to Canadians. I live 1.5 hours from the nearest store and unless I drive in, which I can no longer do at this point, I have no option to purchase the gifts my daughter wanted from this store. With all the store across Canada and millions of Canadian consumers, you would think they would have a CDN online option. BBW products have been on the top of my daughters wish list for years. I am devastated that I cannot even provide Xmas gifts from online for my daughter. So arrogantly American.

I purchased 3 wallflower plug ins and 5 snickerdoodle scents (one plug in for each floor of our home) two and a half weeks ago. Within one week of plugging the wallflowers in my son had a terrible, deep hacking cough. He was put on a round of steroids. Then within days of his appointment I was at the doctor with what they called respiratory distress and put on steroids, an antibiotic and an inhaler. One of my daughters also started with a terrible cough. She has also been seen by her doctor. Two days ago it dawned on me that the only change that had taken place was the addition of the wallflowers. I removed all of them from our home and opened windows to air my house out. We are all improving my children’s coughs have almost completely stopped. I will never use wallflowers in my home again and greatly caution others who are considering purchasing these items.

As for lotions I’m moving towards Lush as they are adopting plastic free packaging. I have some scents from Bath & Body Works that will start making my nose close up and spark allergies because they are so intense. I purchased Dream Cream from Lush and it cleared up my eczema. You will not find a product that’s good for your skin at Bath & Body Works. It’s all about the fragrances. Go plastic free. Go green.

I called Bath and Body works to get an explanation from them and I was told that it's not their problem and asked me to call local post office instead. I've been dealing and still waiting for my package for over 2 weeks now. Very disappointing. Why do I have to call people to search where my package went? So much for paying shipping and handling. Bath and Body Works customer service wasn't a help either.

I’ve been using their products for many years. Recently, my hands had been itching terribly and I could feel little bumps forming on my hands. On the palm side of my hands and fingers, I got multiple small blisters that formed together into larger clusters. Not only did they itch really bad, but my hands looked horrible. I’d used the body wash, the spray and the lotion in Amber Blush. I’d also used Endless Weekend lotion that I kept in my purse and on my desk at work. In addition to the blisters, my hands were really inflamed (pinkish/reddish color, and they were burning. I had to use a very powerful steroid ointment that was prescribed by my physician in addition to taking allergy meds to help calm my symptoms. I did not have this issue prior to them changing the formula in their products. I now have a ton of body products that I can no longer use. I’ve had no known allergies up until I broke out from their products.

Ok so I decided to try a new shampoo and went to Bath & Body Works. I was actually a little disappointed that I found out it leaves my hair really thick. Whenever I use this to shower, my hair immediately gets thick and is really hard to wash, probably since it’s a 2-in-1. But it left my hair really thick during the shower and after, I already broke a comb trying to straighten out my hair and I’m just wasting my money! And I’ve been shampooing my hair for at least a week and still no difference. Again, pretty disappointed and I would not recommend this to another person/friend.

Just left the Bath & Body in Commerce, Ga. There’s the usual sale for buy 3 get 2 free. And of course, the item of higher cost is supposed to be charged. I asked the cashier if the items were prorated (the bs reason they gave me in Danville, Va) or were they actually honoring what the sign by the items stated. She said, “whatever the sign said.” She rang up the items and lo and behold all three items were charged. I told her this was the same foolishness that happened in VA so she asked her co-worker who tried to give me the same spiel that the cashier in VA gave me.

I had 5 items, 3 of which applied to sale. Before she rang up the last two items the sub total was $25. Now if the most expensive of the 3 was $13, and it’s buy 3 get 2 free, where’s the discount? “Oh, they take a little off of each product,” she says. So I told her “put that on a sign instead of buy 3 get 2 free. That’s false advertising.” Has anyone else experienced this at a Bath & Body store?

Well I made that requirement and I added promotion code and it said, "You are good. Proceeded to checkout and completed purchase." Nowhere did I see it asking for promotion code to be added again and why should it since I already added to my order. Well I followed up immediately with customer service and was told I had to add at check out. I explained that there was not a place that I seen asking for this and again why should it since I had already added to my bag? They could not help me so I lost out on my free tote bag. I have purchased many things thru Sephora and Ulta and never had an issue getting any promotions at checkout. So beware ordering online with this store. They might rip you off like they did me?

If you have coupons, only one promotion code will work. So they send you multiple coupons in the mail and also a coupon for a free gift that is good online but won’t work if you apply a 20% off code with your order. So you can’t even get a free gift. And if they have a special online with $2.50 for hand soaps which should automatically be applied at checkout, you still have to put a code in to get that price. No sense in ordering online as they have “old school” technology!!

BUT Now, I plugged in a wallflower, after two hours the house was fully engulfed in pine smell. Then I saw a puddle under my dishwasher. I told my husband the dishwasher was leaking. As he went to inspect it, I noticed the wallflower I had plugged in two hours before was empty. I then told him that it was the wallflower that had leaked across the counter, down the dishwasher and on to my hardwood floor.

The display area on my dishwasher is DISINTEGRATED. As several people mentioned before that this substance has ruined a COMB, A RADIO, A KITCHEN COUNTER AND A DINING ROOM TABLE. Please take this off the market. I cannot get the smell out, my dishwasher front is ruined and the smell is permeating. I am literally cooking sauerkraut to get the smell out of my house. This is a great, and relatively expensive lotion that my sister buys me each year as a gift. I don't want to bug her for the order number so I couldn't complain on the company website. It is stupid for a company to sell a lotion that does not pour in a 'pump' glass bottle where, if the cap breaks, the lotion simply will not come out. Rather than go through the expense of return, please consider providing this lotion in a jar with a screw-on-lid rather than a pump cap. It is just too thick!!

A lot of people have been complaining about the wallflowers, but for 2 years now I haven’t had any negative side effects. I'm only using one at the moment for my bedroom. My cat and I sleep in here every night and neither of us has had any issues as of yet. This doesn’t mean that I won’t anticipate it though. I haven’t noticed any formula changed either in the handsoaps or lotions or body shower gels, though I’ve only been using them for about 5-6 years, so they may have changed and I’ve just never known. I’m 20 years old, and I live in a nearby town from our closest Bath and Body Works. Currently, I go to Vidalia Georgia to shop there, and I have never in my life had bad customer service! We go there about 2-3 times a year to pick up holiday or season soaps, small Germ-X bottles, and body scrubs. Once a year I may pick up some perfume or lotion.

Every item I’ve ever purchased was of great quality and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not only this, but the staff is very pleasant to be around. I really appreciate it when the worker(s) come to conversate with you a bit, and even suggest their favorite items in the store. Last time I went, 4 days ago, the lady working stood there and smelled soaps with me and commented on them. Now obviously there weren’t too many people in the store because I came a bit early, but it’s really nice when employees interact with you some and give some input on things about sales and special deals when they aren’t checking someone out. Great staff and products! I look forward to my next trip!

Not sure what it is but it ruined my hardwood. (Awesome thanks). This is the first time I experienced this in my years of use so I questioned whether it was the product or not. I wiped the brown sticky residue away and plugged it back in (with a paper mat below it this time) and sure thing, after a few days the brown residue was building back up. Thankfully since I was monitoring it I caught it before it started dripping onto the floor again. Clearly a weird defect within this product. Overall my opinion is just that these things could be so much better. A different company should sell a superior product. These seem cheaply made and I’ve had a pretty inconsistent experience.

Package labeling on the wallflower refills is incorrect and misleading. Bath and Body states that the refills 'lasts for weeks AND weeks,' but they only last about 2 weeks. The use of 'and' on this label infers that their product lasts for 4 weeks. I recently purchased about 10 refills in different scents. I've tracked them on the calendar and so far, none have lasted more than 16 days. That means, for every dispenser I have, I have to replace the refill twice monthly. It would not be so bad if the product were not so ridiculously overpriced. I contacted the company and they apologize that I am unhappy, but make no apologies for the mislabeling. I’ve been shopping with B&BW for 5 years and never had a problem, until I ordered recently during one of their sales and they shipped me leaking and unsealed product (Gentle Foaming Hand Soap). Anyone can attest that every soap is in the “locked” position and has a plastic seal so you know the product you’ve received is new, unused, and untampered with. But after waiting an extra couple of days for it to be processed and shipped, which I can forgive, I know they must’ve been busy. I don’t mind waiting a little longer for my order to be right. But my order was awful when it finally did arrive. The box was nearly destroyed, there was very little paper in the box to protect my product and ALL of my soaps were unsealed. One was leaking all over the rest and had seeped through the box. The product was half gone by the time it arrived!

When I contacted their customer care, I got the biggest cockamamie lie I’ve ever heard. “We are no longer shipping sealed product.” It took me a couple days to be able to control my temper. This is just an insult to my intelligence. You expect me to believe, you don’t ship LIQUID product with seals anymore? Really? How dumb do you think I am? You know how I know that’s BS? I’ve ordered from you before, recently. So that's a lie. Anyone with common sense knows if you ship liquids. They need a seal. Why? BECAUSE THEY LEAK. It doesn’t make sense that a business that’s been around as long as B&BW wouldn’t know that. So I know you’re lying.

Worst customer service ever. They’re just treating me like I’m trying to scam them out of free products. Like I’d even want them after going through this. I’m done with a company that can encourage its employees to lie to its customers. I work too hard for my money to tolerate handing it to someone who’s going to disrespect my intelligence to my face.

When they have these promotions, I usually buy many items to take advantage of the "savings." I have been using BBW products for over 25 years and did not used to have these issues. Less than a year ago, I returned some rancid body lotion to them and they let me exchange it for the same product that wasn't rancid. I also bought a bunch of other products due to the promotion.

In the 25+ years I've been using their products, the products have lasted for years. Poor quality and ingredients change in their body soap products - Has anyone else noticed a drastic change in the quality of Bath & Body Works body soap? It has always been my fave but in the last year or two it has changed a lot. It takes a good 4-5 times more soap to get a little lather and the lather last only a few seconds and breaks down (means you have to pour even more on), the scent is almost non-existent. It use to be more rich, enough so you could shave with it. Now it is like slightly thick water.

I use to get a lot of compliments on the scent. Now you can't smell it outside of the bottle. It doesn't clean like it use to and at $14 for a small bottle I'm thinking I may need to switch to another brand. I loved their Japanese cherry blossom. Think I may return my unused bottles. Even the body spray seems weak and more alcoholic like. I was a very die-hard fan of their products for many years investing a good chunk of change. :(

I am a government employee at a Federal agency located in NYC at 26 Federal Plaza; I often go to this store's East 23rd st location after work but on occasion I got outside of work. Whenever I shop at this store and I am not dressed in work attire I am scrutinized and treated like a thief by your door security. I have been targeted and followed throughout your store which obviously makes me simultaneously uncomfortable and angry. After a few times of this happening I reported it to the floor manager who assured me it wouldn't happen again and the security staff would be spoken too.

After that incident I decided to not return to that location thus I now go to the East 44th st location (since last year) and I am having the exact same problem. I was just at this location yesterday where your security staff harassed targeted me. It was a rainy cold day I was in this store not in business attire but in a hooded jacket, jeans and sneakers and the security guard Mike (according to the store manager) watched from across the room then proceeded to come close just to zero in on and watch me.

This bias behavior is unacceptable. There were plenty of people in the store when I entered and I hadn't been in the store less than 5 minutes before this happened. I approached Mike and asked him why was he targeting me. The was a store full of people to watch but yet his focus is on me. He must not have liked that I questioned him and he began to get irate and combative until a coworker convinced him to go back to doing his job. Then later that same coworker and guard could be heard disrespecting me and making light of the situation. I shop at this store a lot and for me to feel as if I cannot go to any location without being judged on my appearance is ridiculous. I will not continue to be harassed. Something must be done, I will not continue to jump from location to location just because your employees are bias either I am at the point where I am ready to seek counsel and attain an attorney

I have used the wallflowers intermittently for years. I don't always use them but I have used them in several areas of my home at one time. I always installed the bulbs properly and have not had one leak but I have seen a few leave residue on the wall. The main thing is that I recently moved and so I pulled the wallflowers out during the holidays and even bought a few new plugs to go with some of the scents I had stacked up on during a sale. Well all winter including Christmas day, I have had the worst sinus headaches. I went away on business for 2 months and came home in March to continue to experience the worst headaches. I didn't know what the cause was but one day recently all of the plugs that I was using ran out and I left them empty and just unplugged them and sat them under the sink.

I can tell you, these last few weeks have been nice. No more wheezing and no more migraine headaches. These aren't the only products of BBW that cause issues. The hand soaps, especially the deep cleaning one causes severe skin breakouts and rash, the body sprays and lotions are filled with parabens, a dangerous synthetic hormone, and lots of other chemicals that shouldn't be near the body. The room sprays cause knock out allergy reactions and headaches too and this all sucks because I want to like this place so much but more and more their business is filled with holes that can't be ignored and they make enough off of their shoppers to take the nastiness out of their products. I haven't used none of their body care in years and now it looks like I will be getting rid of my candles and wallflowers too because they are toxic to our health.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to return something to the store when the invoice has 10000000000 as the order number but you are guaranteed a store return. Online representatives are VERY helpful & WILL correct an order problem. If you need help with invoices - FORGET IT!

Whomever took over product decisions about 3 years ago has made terrible decisions. Prices have quickly jumped, as much as double on some items. Many promotions were dumped and popular products discontinued. When you sell too much of a scent during promotions, it will be awhile before people replace it - the product is still popular.

Someone decided to discontinue perfume. Perfume will not sell as frequently because it last longer than sprays but this new executive's decisions are about the bottom dollar! B & B needs a better research team to study online buying trends and product preference by people ALL over the US, not just one area. Wild Honeysuckle perfume was selling at $80+ a bottle online before Christmas. It was sold at the semi-annual sale and prices online went to $20 a bottle because of availability. In February, prices online are up to $30 already. B&B Vanilla Noir & Blackberry Amber are selling at $80+ a bottle. Many discontinued products are VERY popular. I requested first hand, return and refund the first item and let me start anew with the second. Simple enough? No, unfortunately, the salesperson "Sherry" did an exchange anyhow and said she could not reverse it. She was adamant of saying it's finalized and attempted to verify why she believes an exchange is better and questioned why I wanted a refund.

Since when did Bath and Body have sales agents coerce their view on how customers should handle their hard spending money with their products? Not a good look for the company's brand and of how that agent represents that location as well as the corporate return policy that's been existing for ages. That uncomfortable encounter with "Sherry" turned me off from future shopping with that store. I'm waiting on BBW corporate to assist, correct the transaction, and make it right. I recently started ordering Wallflowers from B&BW Online. The first order I got, I ordered Cinnamon Stick and they sent something AWFUL smelling - very musky - but labeled Cinnamon Stick. I took it back to the store, which happened to be on the day of some stupid candle sale, and the employees refused to help me - they said I could wait in line, which was approximately 45 minutes or come back another day. I did come back another day. I then ordered the Cinnamon and Clove Bud Wallflowers online and realized the ripoff. First -- NO WAY does it cost $5.99 to ship two or 3 2-pack boxes of Wallflowers. No way. I can get giant boxes filled with stuff from Kohl's or Amazon for nothing, but this little box is $6?! Secondly -- it takes 2-3 weeks to show up! Thirdly -- by the time they arrive, they are leaking all over the box! Fourth -- Sales tax: I live in Wisconsin where my sales tax is 0.051%.

On a $54.00 order, they have my sales tax calculated at $2.99 when it should be $2.74. Yes - that's minimal, but for a company like theirs - it adds up if they are miscalculating hundreds of online orders! Today, I wanted to order 6 boxes of Cinnamon and Clove Bud 2-packs. B&BW is offering $10 orders of $30 or more. My total comes to $54.00; shipping $5.99; tax $2.99 - and my total on the site is $52.54. But, if I do the math myself, it's $52.23. WHICH MEANS - they are applying SALES TAX to your SHIPPING CHARGES!!!! Just a little FYI for consumers - if shipping is listed SEPARATELY from the cost of the item, it is NOT taxable. B&BW ripping off Americans one shipped package at a time. I wonder how much profit they have gained from that.

The last time I made a purchase I had a hard time finding my favorite lotion because all of the labels have been changed. They all look the same... Bland monochromatic foil. After finding and purchasing my usual fragrances I get home to discover NONE of the lotion’s scents are right. The fragrance has been washed out - brings to mind unscented lotion or a knockoff product. I can’t believe I paid that much for body lotion that has ZERO smell.

I compared them to bottles I had left over from prior purchases (the ones without the generic foil labels) the same scent smells 100x better in the old formula. The new lotion says it has Shea butter + coconut oil. If you ask me, Bath and Body Works has cheapened what I used to consider a superior product. I used to chose their product over VS but as if now I refuse to waste any more money. Not until they offer the old lotion formula without the “coconut oil” filler.

The rude ** on the phone proceeded to scream at me and accuse me of lying. I informed her I had my bank statements and I then asked to speak to a manager. The lady then told me I couldn't speak to a manager that she would try to fix it. So after giving her all my information she told me she couldn't find it. So she needed the credit card number I used. So I gave that to her also. She stated the same thing once again. After me giving her that the conversation shifted somewhat until she told me I'd have to return the items to get my money back instead of stop payment. I told her I didn't want to stop payment that I wanted my items. I just wasn't about to be charged twice for the same damn thing. She then hung up on me.

I'll never use Bath and Body Works again. You people are a disgrace. You think it's okay to steal people's money. Thankfully I was recording the entire conversation. I have bank statements to prove what they did. I am suing them for theft and emotional distress. I have been on Chemo for 3 months now and having to deal with such a rude ignorant person like that made me so ill I had to go to the Emergency room for having a panic attack. I draw disability therefore I'm on a limited income. So they stole money from me that I need. I very rarely get to buy something for myself like this. Even though it was only $44 total. They took that twice. So it was $88. Thanks a lot liars!

So I called the Bath and Body number on the receipt 18003951001 and explained what happened. She said to check for a crack and there wasn't one. She then asked if the vent holes were facing up or down and of course I had it down. When reading the directions it tells you how to install the bulb. It never tells you how to plug it into the wall. So I assumed you plug it in down. She said to flip it so the vents are up and the oil goes into the air. Did that and haven't had a problem. Great scent all over the living room and into the halls!

One thing I would not recommend are their candles/Wallflowers. The candles smell amazing but they burn down way too quick for the hefty price of them! (They don't just ask to see it -- they scan it!) This is so intrusive and makes me uncomfortable about my personal information being compromised. I enjoyed shopping at Bath and Body Works but probably won't be shopping there because they guarantee 100% satisfaction or you can return the product -- BUT you must allow them to scan your personal information and you are limited to the number of returns allowed (6 in 90 days, even WITH a receipt). My jaw dropped. I was shocked! However the bigger issues: The Hand Soap bottle pump mechanisms have been changed! One pump pours a ridiculous amount of soap out! Hint Hint... The more you will need to keep buying more at BBW because you are now wasting WAY more than you need. Sneaky way to increase profits to their company.

The Candles! Ah the candles! What happened??? They used to be GREAT but now lots of problems! First time this year I had several that had little to no throw (1-2 throw out of 10) and suffered puny wick syndrome. I would absorb some of the wax with a cotton ball hoping to get the flame brighter and active but with no success. The small wick and minuscule flame meant there was just no scent throw at all! Could not smell a thing! This would happen with candles that still had at least 1/2 their wax left!

Then I noticed they were burning way way faster than any other years I've had them. The ones that threw well were amazing but only 1/2 through use- then a horrible kerosene type odor smell filled my home, and the lovely odor was gone. At this point would also smoke quite a bit. I started noticing black sticky tar like residue on my air vents all over my home!!! I am no longer buying them and have decided to gift the few remaining candles I have. I now purchase vendor made soy wax melts/Tarts. No more smoke, soot and much cheaper!!I Am already way way happier!

I bought lots of soaps and several wax melts. The order went through, everything seemed fine. The next day I got an email stating some of the items on my order were canceled due to them being out of stock. The email was very difficult to read and I made my husband try to read it to understand which items were canceled. We determined that it was I one of the wax melts. If the items were out of stock, why are they still available for purchase? Anyway, I just received my order at home. There was only one item! Confused, I went and double checked my bank statement. The original order was for approximately $90, I was charged $80, which by the way, came out of my account two days after my original order.

I believed the difference made up for the two wax melts that were canceled. I called customer support, just to see when the other items would arrive and found out the only item on my order was now the single soap that I received. The customer service representative I spoke with said the single soap was all that was available and that the $80 taken out was for "holding" because my order was for so much and that I should receive a refund within a few days. Wait, what??? You're still going to charge me despite not having the items originally ordered at a later time? If all of the money had came out with the original order I'd understand, but to charge me regardless and afterwards, doesn't make sense to me.

I'm frustrated that all of the items on my order were out of stock, the website didn't show the out of stock status, and the email that was sent to update me was very unclear and showed in stock status, even to the items that were not in stock. Then, when I called, the customer service representative was very rude and blunt, and even stated she had been dealing with this all day and kind of acted annoyed. There was no attempt at trying to help me, give me any type of consolation, or even an apology. This shouldn't have happened in the first place, but I hope this company, whom I normally really love, can fix their website, the way they send invoices to customers and can help their customer service representatives try to be a little more helpful and even nice.

I don't know what's in this product, but I apparently had an allergic reaction and I don't have any allergies. I do not recommend this product and won't be shopping at Bath & Body Works ever again!

The service that they give in the stores for the most part is the best service you will get from this company. If there is a problem and you have to contact corporate, good luck. You have better luck trying to raise your dead relative from the grave than you do trying to get them to do anything to help. I have contacted corporate multiple times about their promotions. It seems like every time they have a promotion the store I go to is not partaking in that promotion. I don't understand why you keep emailing me all these promotions knowing where I live and then my home store says they aren't doing that promotion. Once I call in to the 800 number I always get told that that store is indeed doing the promotion. They apologize up one side and down the other.

Then they call the store and tell them to give me the promotion that has already ended. This gets tiring after so many times. I have done this 12 times before I have to call it quits. I'm not a rude customer, I'm not a rude person, I hate conflict, and I refuse to deal with a business that does this to their customers. I'm not the only person that has to deal with this - almost everybody in my area deals with this. They need to send someone to the store and explain to them that they need to HELP all customers the same, they need to give us all the same promotions and they need to follow company rules. Don't tell me to just continue to call back because that is not what I want to do when I go to the mall to shop.

I think instead of shopping at the stores I just need to stand in front of the store and picket because you don't want to reimburse me for my time, my loss of gas, or give me anything for the inconvenience. I'm not asking for a hand out. I'm not asking for you to give me free product or anything. I'm asking for a little sympathy. If this was you you would be upset. But to have a lady argue with me on the phone about what promotion they are running that day is ridiculous. They were running a promotion we all love and we all watch out for, I missed it and then was told that it was $3.95 body creams??? I've never heard of that promotion and am pretty sure if that was the promotion it would have been posted all over the store and people would have bought cases of them. You have horrible service and you treat your regular customers like they are replaceable.

I bought 3 body creams and 3 body sprays - Pretty as a Peach, Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte, and Tahitian Island. I was really excited to purchase BBW products because I used the products years ago and enjoyed the long lasting fragrance. I used Pretty as a Peach lotion and spray after a shower and had a sleepless night! My skin broke out into a hives everywhere that I applied the lotion. I thought it was maybe mosquito bites and applied the Marshmallow Pumpkin lotion and spray as well. I had the same results, but worse. It was extremely painful and itchy. I had welts all over my arms and legs.

I'm not sure if the ingredients or chemicals have changed since I've used them before, but whatever it is, I'm almost 100% sure it isn't safe for our skin. I'm very disappointed as I have used BBW products in the past. I don't recall having these reactions in the past, so I'm sure the products are different chemically. I can no longer use these products and would love to see BBW start using natural ingredients.

I did the online BOGO for "Flashback Scents of Summer," like I do every year. I purchased Twilight Woods, Fig and Brown Sugar and Honeysuckle Mists with matching Shea lotions for me and for my daughter. I got her Rainkissed and Peony in the original bottles (not mists). My chief complaint is no sooner than I apply the Shea Butter then the mists (if you suffer from dry skin these are the steps to take) then spray my hair and clothes... not even 30 minutes later the scent is gone! Yet, last year I bought their Coconut and Vanilla in original bottle and I sprayed it on at 6 am and now midnight its scent is still there... it's like they're watering down their merchandise. I was told by the woman working there that its original bottles then the Mists then their perfumes were in that order, so why as the Mists are the next step closer to the perfumes lasts about 20 minutes?

I spent a lot of money at this store since its inception and I'm truly disappointed, feel I got conned and I believe this experience is telling me to stop giving them cash for products that don't live up to its promise... even the little "copycat" mists at Walmart have more staying power... meaning it lasts from the morning to next day when you wake. I so badly want to be refunded, but if you buy online I'm not sure... because our store in Park City Mall closed for renovations and of course where my 30 days are up. Thanks for reading and sorry for the novel, but I'm livid.

I was using the one of the featured hand soaps for the FALL! Well, I broke out in HIVES! My breakout was so bad that I had to go to the emergency room and get a shot. I was also put on ** for four days and **. It's been almost a week since this terrible breakout. I'm going to have to go back to doctor because it's not healing as quickly as it should. When I called Limited Brands and told them what occurred. It seemed as if they didn't care about me. All they seemed to care about was the product. Never again will I ever shop there again. I'm not the first customer to break out the rash and hives.

Updated on 9/26/2016: Recently I wrote a review about a terrible rash that I had using their product. No one ever called me back. It's been about a week in a half with this irritating rash and this BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY. I had allergy test done and the results were negative. I don't have any allergies nor am I allergic to anything. My doctor said "it must have been the soap you used the night before from Bath & Body Works." GO FIGURE! As I'm going through my mail today I open a letter from GALLAGHER BASSETT SERVICES. They were asking me to contact them regarding my claim with BATH & BODY WORKS. Some lazy company that represents BATH. They stated that they tried to reach me by phone several times but no answer. Liars, they didn't call me! This company's reviews are GOD AWFUL!

The representative from the company argued with me about the product that broke me out with hives and rashes. She felt that I was saying that Bath & Body Works was selling bad products. Remember, she said that the representative from GALLAGHER AND BASSETT. She offered to pay my doctor's bill. I told her "with your company's reviews, I wouldn't trust them to pay **!" I told her that I'm going to hold on to my bottle of soap for future evidence because this rash is affecting too many people. So, I see a future Class Action Lawsuit coming soon. She told me if I sent the bottle back that I would receive a refund. Wow! A whole 3.00 which turned into hundreds of dollars for me in medical bills. EMERGENCY ROOM AND MEDICINE! I spoke with a Attorney and he said, "Whatever you do never give them that bottle of soap" because it's evidence!

I have people constantly ask why I don't have wrinkles on my chest area as most women do at or near 70. My dermatologists are amazed at my skin and that it looks like the skin of a much younger woman. I have also repeatedly gotten so many compliments on how good I smell all the time. Not so much anymore. I started using Chinese Cherry Blossom as soon as it came out. Now the wonderful fragrance is weak and does not last.

I always slathered with it after my nightly shower and still smelled so good in the morning but not anymore. Also, since you changed your formula and have replaced your old moisturizers with this nut from Africa, I am breaking out. My skin has big red sore itching bumps that will not heal. I am a diabetic. This is very scary. I could lose a leg. Also my body creams have an almost rancid oil odor in the background. I have seen these nuts and felt the greasy texture of it. I bought some of it but it made me itch so I put it away for a few months and when I was going to give it to a friend to try it smelled like old rancid grease. I think you have made a big bad marketing and formulation decision. You used to be my favorite go-to place for myself and for gifts. I see by the reviews that others are also unhappy with the formula change and are having skin issues.

I have worked at Northgate Mall in San Rafael, CA for 2 years. The Bath & Body Works store came into the mall last year, prior to the 2015 holiday season. Unfortunately, my job requires that I go up and down the mall driving a children's train, and I have to pass Bath & Body Works on the route. In the past, I have contacted both Bath & Body Works and Northgate Mall Management about the store putting product right at the store front, and into the common area of the mall for people to test, AND SPAY INTO THE MALL. For awhile, employees were even spraying products out into the common area themselves! They comply for awhile, and move the testers inside their store, but always seem to bring them back out.

I have had numerous people get off of the train, and take their children out of the mall, due to asthma attacks beginning. Parents constantly complain to me about the scents, and lots of people tell me that they won't go to that part of the mall, because the strong scents cause migraines for them. Last Sunday, they had a scented candle burning at their store front, and I went into a severe asthma attack that I got under control. I contacted mall management again (4th time this year), and was told that it would be handled.

All this week, the scented candle was not lit, and we had no problems. However, yesterday, I took the train for the opening test run, and went into a severe asthma attack that I could not control. The scented candle was once again lit. I called Security, and asked them to "politely ask" the store to put out the candle in the common area at the front of their store. I ended up in the hospital for breathing treatments, and had to close down the train for the entire day. I lost wages for the day, had to pay out lots of money for treatment, and the train owner lost all revenue for his busiest day of the week.

What is wrong with these people? They need to keep their scented products inside their store, and be aware that many people react to their products. Cal/OSHA does not cover this problem, because I (and the others who react) am not an employee of Bath & Body Works. I know that this review specifically identifies me, but at this point, I don't care. I have a specialty job where I just can't transfer to any location.

My granddaughter use to love them too but we start to notice that the sprays especially were watered down. They smelled more like alcohol instead of the scent. The smell does not last as long. This is sad because they started out great and now I will find a new product to replace them. I use to go to Victoria's Secret. Maybe I will go back to see if they are staying true to their brand. If we are going to pay these kind of prices then we want the smell to last.

I ordered online from Canada, throughout the entire process it never once said it was in US currency. I even googled "Bath and Body Works Canada". When I received the items I noticed that my credit card charge and the online receipt did not match by $22. I called online support and they said that it was because it was in US currency. I asked if I would be able to return it in store or get the shipping back since I essentially paid $10 US for them to waste my time. They said that they had no idea, that they could give me the in-store customer service number (instead of perhaps just transferring me through like any good customer service rep would do).

Once I called in-store the girl put me on hold for a very long time and said that I could only return it by shipping it back to US (on my dime of course). That it said online that it was in US pricing somewhere on the website. So I had her tell me where. It took her 3 min to find and it was down some rabbit hole of information. This is downright criminal of Bath and Body Works to do to their Canadian shoppers. I never came across something that said it was in US pricing, the fact that they would not refund me the shipping for their error as well as have me ship it out to them is despicable. I work in a big named store that is in the US and Canada and we would never treat a customer this way. I am disgusted with Bath and Body Works.

Recently had my carpets and home ventilation cleaned and was surprised to learn that the Wallflower Plugins I was using were causing staining of my wall directly above the plugin and dark spots on the carpet directly in front of my cold air returns at floor level. According to the cleaning company, the oils in the plugins gets dispensed into the air and then gets sucked toward the cold air returns when the air conditioning or furnace starts up. The dark spots in the carpet are petroleum carbon particles exhausted from the plugin oil when they are heated. These particles move through the room air and are drawn to the cold air return and are trapped by the carpet fibers directly in front of the vent. Not sure what other effect they have on human or pet health but I am no longer utilizing them.

More than once Rachel would tell me about the sales they were having which is fine, but I was already standing in front of the sign, I can read. I felt highly insulted and my patience was tried.

After a hectic morning at work, I just wanted a nice quiet lunch hour and I felt ignored as if Rachel was saying well I'm going to continue to ask you questions anyway. I know all about sales. I've worked in retail banking for over 22 years and as an assistant manager for 6 years, so I know all about sales goals, secret shoppers, etc... but what I've learned and teach my staff is the law of common courtesy and respect for client space. When you make your customer feel welcomed in your environment and they're not just another sale, they're more likely to ask you questions, maybe even purchase more products than they were going to. It's called courtesy and that's what was lacking in the Woodbridge Center Mall store on today. The phone call wasted close to 20 min of my time with no resolution. I was put on hold several times for minutes at a time. I was calling to exchange a candle that I had purchased online that was of poor quality. I had never burned it. It came with wax all over the inside of the glass and a wick dented into the wax. When turned upside-down, the wax completely falls out of the glass container.

When the phone call began, the lady said I did not need to mail the candle back and she would send me a new one. If I was able to, she said to return the faulty candle to a BBW store (I do not live near one which is why I called in and offered to send in the faulty candle in exchange for a new one). As the phone call went on, and I was continually put on hold, she became unfriendly and had an accusatory tone as to why I was unhappy with the candle. I explained that I would have never picked out a candle that looked like this one if I had seen it in the store. I also told her that I doubted that it would even be a candle that they would put out on the shelves.

After the final time that she put me on hold for several minutes, she came back and said that she spoke with quality control and that they said the candle will be fine once I burn it. I told her that the appearance of the candle was my concern, as it would be an embarrassment to even try and gift it in that condition. So, after 20 min of unfriendly customer service, I am still stuck with a faulty looking candle. That is not my definition of their 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back motto.

I read that other people had posted issues that their code was not honored due to "unavailable product" and I thought if I ordered more than the minimum I wouldn't have any issues. I ordered $56.86 and when I checked out everything was good. Now a week later I get my box w/ 1/2 my order to find out that there was a lot of unavailable product and my order total was $23.19 and I didn't get the $10 off. They should have at least not charged me shipping. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. There was no attempt made to call me or offer product replacement for what they supposedly didn't have. This is a Huge scam. If you had a similar issue I hope you file a complaint w/ BBB as well since this seems to be ongoing.

First complaint is the sliding quality of their products. The soaps have been watered down compared to a few years ago. I even compared recent purchases to older unopened liquid hand soaps, and there is definitely a difference. So now you're paying for less product and more water. The same can be said for their scented candles -- the ones I bought 3 years ago would last a long time and the scent would fill the house. Today's candles burn through more quickly, the bottom 20% doesn't burn at all and is wasted, and the scent is barely there. Very disappointed that they have changed the quality of their product, and they just dress it up in clever marketing.

My second complaint has to do with pricing. I was recently in the store for their buy 3 get 3 free sale. When the salesgirl at the checkout told me the total price of my purchases, I was shocked and figured they must have made a mistake. However, what happened is that they jacked up their prices! What used to be a $9.50 bottle of hand lotion was now being charged at $13.50. So even with the free items, each bottle was $6.75 - still cheaper but not exactly a whopping deal. Especially when I know they'll have the same bottles on sale in January for $3 each!!! I looked for a price sticker on the bottom of the bottle, but there was none.

When I asked about that, the girl told me that they no longer put prices directly on the products. I also noticed that there were no prices displayed on the shelves either. Only the sales such as "buy 3 get 3 free", or "Candles 2 for $34". Nowhere were any of the regular prices shown on the shelves. I guess this way they can easily move their prices up and down with a click on their computer system, and don't have to worry about price stickers on thousands of bottles of product, or re-printing signs on their shelves. It seems to me that they hike up their base prices when they have sales on - duping their customers into thinking they're getting a great deal.

My sister and I had a couple questions about which lotion was $5 and which was not and when we asked this employee she gave us the rudest tone ever and she acted as if we were an annoyance. She made us feel stupid and as if we should have just known what lotion was on sale.

After she responded with a very sarcastic responses to multiple questions, she completely disappeared and was not to be found for the rest of the time we were there. I have been shopping at Bath and Body Works since I was in middle school and I'm now 25 years old so I have been a loyal customer for many years. I have never once had a bad experience with this company until this past Saturday, December 12, 2015. I was shopping at the Hickory, NC location which was extremely crowded due to a sale they had on hand soaps ($2.50 a piece). They also had their buy 3, get 3 free deal going on. Debating on waiting in the long line, I asked one of the employees when the buy 3, get 3 free sale ended. She rudely snapped "Today" and walked away. I decided to wait in the 20 minute long line in order to get the deal since I was buying for Christmas. To my disappointment, I found out the next day that the buy 3, get 3 free deal was STILL happening. What was the point in the employee lying to me?

Not only was one of the employees rude when I approached her with the question on the sale but there were many employees just aimlessly standing around and staring at people when there were lines snaking out the door. They had some employees with smartphones ringing up customers. However, they would only pull you for that check out if you were already in a cash register line and near the front of the line which didn't help with cutting down on the long lines at all. My friend and I were also told numerous times by rude employees that we needed to "move closer to the displays and keep the walkway clear" when we were already hugging the displays and had nowhere else to go.

Some nights I would cough so hard I would cry from being unable to breathe or sleep. I went to the doctor to try and figure out the cause, and he prescribed me an inhaler which didn't help. It was only until I went on a vacation for a week and realized that I hadn't been coughing did I think to investigate any changes which may have happened in my environment. NOT HAPPY!!! I was at the "Black Friday" sale at Bath & Body Works in Thousand Oaks Mall, at which time they were selling/advertising Buy 3/Get 3 FREE. I spent over $100.00 there, and as I made my exit from the store I began to review my receipt. I saw a "red flag" after analyzing of the first 2 items on my receipt! I purchased 18 items, 9 of which were duplicates of the initial 9. So 9 of my (exactly matching) items should be free, right?! They are, after all, in matching equal multiples of 3! As the receipt reads, they would have you believe they are compensating your purchase by charging you 50% (in a grossly unbalanced portion) of each item.

If you look at the breakdown of each line item, you are actually paying much more than 50%, thus not equal to getting 3 FREE. In short, and to the point, my subtotal (before tax) for my 18 items, was $95.50, but should have been $93.00! I was over-charged $2.50, which may be small beans, but multiply that by the thousands that are getting "dished" the same deal! The on-line shopping calculates the same dis-proportionate way! As I was leaving the store I asked several sales people about the in-balance of the charges on the receipt, however, they assured me it would "add up".

One sales girl told me they cannot charge full price for one item and show $.00 for the "free" items, just in case you decide to return those items, as explanation. After I got home and realized the injustice, I called the store and talked to a manager who professed to not know what I was talking about, but offered to assist me with a return or credit if I was to come back in (and get in the long line!). I'm not going to waste further time and gas to have this amended, however, I feel this complaint needs to be voiced! I'm very disappointed with this sales tactic and will not be shopping there any longer!

I looked so forward to this, anticipated all night for the next day so I could go, got up in plenty of time and showered etc. It was 32 degrees, windy and snowing, but that didn't stop me. So I drove to the B @ B store in Forsyth, Illinois, and there were no signs saying the wallflowers were on sale, like they usually have. When I asked the sales girl, she said there had "been a change at the last minute" and they were having a "test", and if I would buy $40 or $50 dollars worth of products, THEN I would get a discount. That's not what the e-mail said. That's not what 2 and a half pages of computer "results" said.

As a businesswoman in retail for 30 years who ran her own business, I know that one of the basics of good business practices is to sell the item for what it is priced as. They would not give me the wallflower refills for $2.75, and rang them up at full price. I left. I will never step in Bath & Body Works again, because I've had other problems with them too. Besides calling them,e-mailing them, and now posting my experience on the internet for all the world to see, asking for gas money back that I wasted driving over there, and losing any money I may spend there in the future, how did your "test" go?

The email ad. which was sent to me did not indicate the items was out of stock. She then told me she makes a note that if I call back they will honor the 30% sale for the items. The question is why they did not show the items out of stock or sold out when they sent the ad to the customers in the first place but they cancelled the order was already submitted and gave a receipt for one item and then said "Out of stock" and posted "Sold out". They wasted their customer's time for entering all the information on their website. The email ad is misleading.

The next morning we discovered it leaked everywhere, damaging paperwork, melting a CD and the bottom of a remote control plus it stripped the finish on the table. Residue was on my skin and burned. The smell is embedded in the wood and nothing is getting it out. I looked at the package which, in tiny writing almost requiring a magnifying glass to read, it warned that the product may leak. I am not only upset at the damage but disturbed by how powerful the oil was - it was as if I had poured turpentine all over everything! I can only imagine having this in a child's room where a curious kid might play with it (the product could look like a toy). I'm completely sick to my stomach since my dresser was over $1200 and is only 5 months old. After this incident, I read reviews online about the Wallflower and so many people have experienced the same thing with their hardwood floors and furniture. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed by the company. There needs to be a LARGER warning on the label and they need to provide some sort of stand that it can be stored on when not in use. Or, they need to relook at the oil formula. If it's THAT toxic to take the finish off floors and furniture, maybe it's not safe to breathe!

For instance, when business is slow and the way the economy is right now using a coupon for the duration of the time it is for then everyone who is shopping that day should have the advantage of that savings no matter if you are on a mailing list. It's call "Give 'em the Pickle." I own about 70 bottles of body lotion, hand cream, etc from Body Works and didn't want to throw them all out. This year I had such a horrible reaction that I couldn't deny to misery or the link to Bath and Body Works. I bought the magnolia scented souffle and shower get and used both and became so itchy that I could not concentrate on anything but the misery. I also started experiencing shortness of breath which scared me.

I went to urgent care and they sent me to the hospital for testing to rule out other possible causes. I was so miserable and had a horrible 4th of July weekend as a result caused by both the reaction and the money it cost me to find some relief. I'm still feeling the effects of the shortness of breath and am trying to take it easy. It is really sad to say that using body wash cost me hundreds of dollars and makes me so miserable because I struggle doing normal tasks. I will never go into a Bath and Body works again.

On the day I went to the ER, I returned the whole batch of products I had bought with the magnolia. (The other 70 bottles are going in the trash.) The associate treated me horribly when I did my return at the store in Indiana mall, Indiana PA. I was a little uncomfortable doing the return with that particular associate, she is often rude and abrupt.

I also had problems with the return, I paid by debit and they did my return by credit. The 800 number CS rep told me a debit return is done as cash. I hate being lied to. That same rep offered me a gift card and I said I was not interested as I didn't think I would be back. She said she would send anyways in case I changed my mind but did not. Again, I was lied to. I will never again shop in a Bath and Body Works store anywhere. The whole experience was just more than one person should go through for good smelling body wash. I don't have a copy of my receipt with me but have a case number that store can reference.

My wife had a wallflower plugged into her wall for about a week. She was sitting on the floor and noticed that that it was a bit discolored. Upon removing the device from the wall we noticed the outlet it was plugged into had melted and cracked. We now need to replace the outlet which is destroyed and have a 3"x 3" area of our brand new oak floor that needs refinishing. These devices are pure crap. After reading all of these reviews and complaints, I will never use another plug in scented device for the rest of my life. There is no way these can be healthy for you.

I went into Bath and Body Works the other day trying to find a perfume or body spray. I put the item away from me when I started to hear my phone ring in my purse. I had a small purse which was open and pretty full already. Out of the corner of my eye I saw an employee run up to my friend and I. She made small talk for a second that I didn't pay much attention to, I was trying to answer my phone before it stopped ringing. All of the sudden she jabbed her hand out at me aggressively asking "what are you digging for?" Mind you, you could HEAR my phone ringing. She tried to take my belongings from me and you could clearly see there wasn't anything from that store in my purse. Once she realized it was my phone she quickly walked away from me like an idiot. I was outraged once I realized she thought I was stealing. She clearly had no common sense on how to handle any situation of that essence.

I'm disgusted I was not given an apology and I wrote a message to customer service and they have not even responded to it. I won't ever be shopping there again. I will not be profiled negatively because I'm young. "Depending on your jurisdiction, you cannot even be approached until you've left the store premises. This isn't universally true, and often the act of concealment of store property is enough evidence to have you arrested and charged. Sometimes, store security staff (or the contract security firms that work in malls) will bend the rules a bit and rely on your ignorance of your rights in order to detain you if they're certain they have probable cause. In some cases, they'll threaten to call the police if you don't cooperate." To think I did nothing wrong and was humiliated publicly when they're supposed to wait until you leave the store premises.

All of B & BW stuff is overpriced and doesn't even last. Candles burn out fast, body wash doesn't give you more than five washes, wall plug-ins don't do **. It's horrible. So we had a plug-in and I pulled it out and set it on our brand new $400 table not thinking anything of it, because what stupid person would engineer something that supposed to be set down to spill? So the next morning, the wall plug-in had somehow spilled on our table and took the finish right off. So now a stupid $5 wall plug-in ruined a $400 table. It seems all this company is about is money. Screw Bath & Body. They're way overpriced and are overrated! They're really basic too. Doesn't say they're made with things that benefit your skin, unlike Lush or The Body Shop. Only thing I like about them is that they don't test on animals. Never buying their plug-ins again. Buyer beware!!! :(

I bought shower gels and lotions from the outlet to save shipping charge. It was the last day for 20% off 25+ and I asked the lady behind the counter about it. She was pretty rude about it, and I got too nervous to look for the deal online, so ended up paying way more than the shipping cost would have cost me. The nearest store is 30 minutes away from where I live, I felt I went all the way there just to be mistreated and belittled. Very, very disappointed.

Several hours later I noticed my face was red and it felt raw. I have thrown the product away (Magnolia scented body wash). My face is still red and dry, legs are itching like crazy. Where is this stuff manufactured? I have used Bath and Body Works for years with no problem. I won't use it again.

When I returned the cream for a different fragrance, I was told since I did not have a receipt, I would be given only half of what was actually paid for it. So I had to pay more money just to exchange this cream. I love shopping at this store, but I have to say I was really disappointed. I will tell all my friends that shop at this store, keep your receipts because this policy that you all have SUCKS!!! I will not speak highly of this store anymore!!!

I am so tired of taking your candles back because they do not even smell at all really? You are raising your prices, having customers pay to use your so called coupons and on top of all that the coupons are not worth the paper they are printed on. Your end of year sale is not a sale maybe 10 items. It's all about pushing new full price products. Your cheapness will be your demise. I am no longer buying your dollar store quality candles to just pay 22.50 and they have no scent. Sad you have come to this to make a back (rely on past value to trick your customers into buying a cheap product).

I'm very sensitive to it be a air freshener, soap, spray on product ext. If I get in the same room within twenty feet, it affects me terribly. Seems to be just bath and body predominantly. Currently testing others. While close, non can compare reaction wise. Investigating ingredients now. Maybe its formaldehyde?

I purchased the scentportable holder and appropriate refills from Bath & Body works for my car. In essence, it is a clip on version of car air freshener. I have used it since last year. However, to my horror, I found it last week with the scented gel melted and dripping out of the sealed container. It dripped all the way down the side of the car stereo on the dashboard and has permanently damaged the dashboard as it also melted some of the paint off the dashboard.

I prefer and so LOVE the Bath & Body Works oil, but after they were discontinued, I had to opt for their Wall Flowers, which is their scented wall plug-ins. I was (am continue to be) extremely disappointed. I purchased 6 different fragrances box sets, along with 4 plug-ins which you need to use the fragrances. I had several Christmas themes scents including several regular scents for after the holidays. Well, I plugged in all four units in four separate parts of my house (LR, Hallway, Bath and Kitchen) and to my surprise, all four units only gave off their fabulous scents for maybe 2 or 3 days. After, the 4 or 5 days, nothing. Not even a hint of a fragrance.

I checked and doubled checked all 4 units, even unplugged, replugged, shook the fragrance, etc. Nothing. They still felt warm, which indicated they were working, I guess, but nothing. I let them all run until empty and refilled all 4 with new bulbs, and like before, 1 or 2 days of nice fragrance and again nothing. I still have them plugged in and still replacing them each time they run out. Also, just note, my plugs were all different. Simple to elegant. Please do not purchase. They do not work. Why did they discontinue their oils? They were most effective.

On Memorial Day of 2013, I decided to try out the Forever Red Spray my sister gifted me with. I took a shower and sprayed myself, arms, legs, stomach and neck. The following day, there were a few pimples that I ignored. Later that day into Wednesday, I was a full blown disaster. I looked and felt like someone sprayed me with acid. Doctors said it was one of the worst reactions they've ever seen. Because it was direct contact, I was in constant pain and agony. I went into anaphylactic shock and had to be rushed to the hospital getting an epinephrine shot that left me in seizure state. I was put on every steroid and meds there is for allergic reaction, but unfortunately it had to take its course.

My son wept every time he saw me. So far the healing process is torturous and embarrassing, walking around in 80-degree weather with a scarf and long sleeves every day. The pictures are so despicable; it leaves everyone with mouths open. I'm enclosing the before and after pic of my arm. B&BW is so sorry and offered me a $25 gift card, then a $100 gift card. Really B&BW, like I would use anything from your store ever again. I know that this summer is shot for me because now the healing process has me looking like a leopard. In spite of it all, I must say, Thank God, I did not spray my FACE!!!

I noticed there was a funny looking "wet" spot on the ceiling of my bathroom. Thought it was a roof leak. We checked the roof and crawled up in the attic - no water damage found of any kind. Came back down and realized the damage on the ceiling was directly above the plugged in Wallflower. It was a sticky mess, took off 2 layers of paint, has taken months to dry out in order to be able to sand it down and re-paint. In the meantime, have read numerous other complaints about these Wallflowers taking paint off furniture, floors, tile, etc., etc. They should be taken off the market!!!

I have used wall flowers for as long as they have been around. I have new ones I just bought 6 days ago along with new bulbs and some that are a few months old. I know they can burn out over time or be less effective so I buy new plug-ins frequently. Usually they are plugged in, in a open space on a wall or in a bathroom. I notice sometimes they get gunky as the scent disburses and I throw the old ones out.

Anyway, I had a 6 day old one with a brand new bulb also and one that has been plugged in about 2 weeks with half a full bulb that is a couple of months old. Both of these were plugged in under different windows in my home. When vacuuming today, I noticed the window ledge look wet or bubbly. I touch it and melted semi-gloss paint was all over my hand and it smells strong of the plug-in. Please note the plug-in IS FACING UP IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION. THE TOP WHERE THE SCENT LEAVES IS ABOUT 6-8 inches from the window ledge...so what is in this scent that is so toxic it can melt paint in less than a week? What the hell have me and my family been breathing in for years? This is scary and I am seeking answers diligently... Please check your plug-ins. This can not be good if the fumes alone can melt paint.

We plugged in a new oil pod into the warmer on the wall on our counter. It was right side up and was working fine. We went on vacation for 9 days, came back and there was oil dripping on the counter a little ways away from the warmer. It was not connected to anything, we were baffled. After looking around, it appeared the warmer oil must've gotten hot and blew up on the top of the cupboard, then was dripping down onto the counter. We tried to wipe this off the cupboard, but it was too late. It appeared to have eaten off the top finish of the wood. We have never had issues with them before, and this was really strange. I will monitor my other ones, but this is probably the last time I use this warmer. I don't like how this got so hot it blew up all over, potentially wrecking personal items or endangering children. Disappointed.

The sales lady informed me they were discontinued, and recommend to get the wallflower refill and cut it open at the top. She said "That's what I do." Got home and did it. Chipped the glass and spilled the oil everywhere, plus my birthday sweater is ruined. She should have recommended the wallflower kit. I would have brought it plus I had a coupon. I'm so disappoint about the discontinuation of the small oils. And may seek online. I will return the other oil I purchased and am unsure when I'll be back. PS. So mad about my darn sweater.

After purchasing Velvet Sugar Body Lotion I applied the lotion to my body after exiting the shower and drying off. The "body" lotion caused a huge rash and chemical burn across my neck and chest. I took photos of the damage to my skin as I needed to ingest medication and immediately wash it off my skin and apply calamine lotion for the intense pain, severe burn, and throbbing itch. There are no allergens listed on the product, nor are there instructions that the lotion cannot be used on any body part including the chest. Please change your packaging to include a list of abrasive ingredients or allergens that could cause an allergic reaction to your customers. Your products are not inexpensive and customers deserve to know if there are any side effects from using your product as well as a guideline to where on the "body" it can be used if not meant for the entire "body" as it says.

I have suffered from an acute reaction- respiratory, neurological and cardiac from exposure to Bath and Body Works lotion. (Respiratory difficulties, angina, coordination impairment, pain, and subsequent migraine, as well as rash). I did not come in direct contact with the product, just proximity to use. I have the P-450 Polymorphism, which is essentially an impaired metabolic pathway related to detoxifying substances...food, medications, fumes and aerosols.

I am very careful about where I go, and very careful what I am exposed to. What I "smelled" was kerosene and/or/diesel and then what smelled like old moldy cinnamon...then BAM. This exposure literally dropped me to my knees and continued to affect me for days. I have two friends who are not chemically sensitive or in frail health who break out in a rash just being in the presence of someone who uses Bath and Body Works lotion product. I thought that was a little over the top until I was recently exposed. I have also noticed a relative's child "act-out" in proximity to a person who was wearing this product. The child was fine and in their normal disposition at other times.

While I appreciate that about a larger number of people "smell" blossoms, fruit, or musk, I "smell" and react to the petrochemicals and altered "natural" substances. I'm an adult, my mother insists she needs to use something because it was a "gift". I can walk away or avoid her and I've learned never to be in the same car with her. I've been able to pattern match and avoid...my heart goes out to the little ones who cannot avoid, and are essentially held captive to this second-hand toxin, while the finger gets pointed to the ones who "act-out" or have "idiopathic rashes" due to these products.

It's ironic...something so dangerous to our little ones is marketed to the people who care for our little ones....our mothers and our grandmothers.
