I have never been disappointed with Bath and Body Works, they are always innovative and current, providing endless options for the most luxurious scents, body fragrances, home fragrances, moisturizing lotions, soaps, candles and essential oil air fresheners. All so beautifully crafted, fabulously curated, every trip to their store is like a mini vacation for the senses that is cost effective, incredible quality that is worth every penny. My personal fragance favorites are: Forever Red, In the Stars, Magic in the Air, Dark Kiss (that I wore on my wedding day 7 years ago) and Twilight Woods. My husband loves Graphite and Ocean. Bath and Body Works is on my Christmas, Anniversary, and Birthday list every year and it should be for everyone else too. There is quite literally something for everyone!!

This store’s prices are overpriced and their 20% discount doesn’t feel real. You can easily find same products elsewhere for a cheaper value. I really don’t give attention to the 20% discount coupon that they send by mail. I don’t like the shop places where I feel I’m fooled.

Especially at Christmas time, you can't go wrong here. Also I love their plug-ins & their decorative holders too for these plug ins. You can't go wrong here.

In a recent online purchase of 11 items, 7 needed to be returned based on smell... Beyond awful. But that is not the "stink here". The situation is when I purchase online and I have the ability to pay via PayPal. I do so for security reasons. The unfortunate part is they did not tell me ahead of time of when making the purchase I would get a store credit instead of a full refund which it stated while making the purchase I would get a refund via the way you paid. There had been nothing stated of this situation of a store credit. Every other retailer I deal with when using PayPal gives you back a refund to the credit card it is attached to, not this company.... They only want your MONEY!
Bath & Body Works used to be my go to store for nicely scented lotions... Now they smell like some cheap lotion you could get at the dollar store... with only slightly nicer packaging... This is not what I am paying $13 a bottle for. And yes the price is crazy high!! It is no longer my go to store, for way too many reasons... And I, my daughter and daughter in law will no longer be shopping there. I do not like feeling cheated, and I was by your company. Good bye Bath and Body works... You do not treat your customers well at all. And I for one will not stand for it!!

All of its products is just so good. I could write a thousand words and still not say enough about it. No other products like it.

I love Bath and Body Works. I have been shopping there forever or so it seems. I love the products ... everything from body wash to the lotions to the candles. It allows one to have a spa experience. What woman does not want that? The variety of scents for all seasons is fun. And I must admit that I have used ‘at the beach‘ products in the middle of winter to take me to a warm and sunny spot in my mind. Thank you.

Shouldn't they do a survey first? Overall, I'm satisfied with this store.

I like the seasonal variety of scents. I appreciate the BOGO sales. I like the addition of White Barn accessories. I still shop at B&BW even though the scented car vent holder and scent leaked and destroyed the front of my CD player to where it was unusable. I had been working with an agent of B&BW to replace the stereo, but never heard back after I supplied all of the requested documentation, which was disappointing, but I do like all of the other product.

The staff are typically very friendly and more willing to help fill your need rather than push a sale. The variety is typically excellent with several scent and styles to choose from. Often they have decent deals with combining purchases to make it more affordable, though oftentimes that feels more like a marketing trap to purchase more product than needed. I typically shop for the lotions that I think amazing but there is plenty to choose from to match your need.

I placed an $80 order of gifts for our teachers on December 10 and was guaranteed delivery between December 15 - 19. I started to get worried so I tracked the order which was being shipped through LaserShip. It was delayed, delayed again, and then delayed again. Finally it was labeled as “exception,” which I guess means that it was damaged or lost.
I never received the order, so I had to run out to the store right before it closed on Thursday evening to re-purchase everything so that I would have gifts to give the teachers on the last day of school which was Friday, December 20. Not only did they not have any of the scents that I wanted to purchase available in store, but the candles were not on the same special as when I purchase them online, so I ended up spending even more money, at this point over $160 trying to get these gifts.
I called customer service on Wednesday, December 18 and was on hold for around 30 minutes before they even answered and she said the guaranteed delivery would be December 19 no matter what. So now, here we are Saturday, December 21, and I haven’t even received any type of communication from Bath and Body Works or LaserShip concerning my lost or damaged order. So I call again and I am on hold for almost 45 minutes and the best they can give me is a refund. I am a loyal bath and Bodyworks customer. You will find only their soaps and candles in my house, but I will say that after this experience, I won’t be shopping there again. The least they can do was give me a refund plus some kind of coupon or something for the extreme inconvenience that this has caused.

Horrible customer service online orders and fake publicity. I ordered a lot of their products as Christmas gifts and I only received a few items (3) and when I called customer service I was told that the order was canceled because it was out of stock. I was also told that if I want the rest of the items I had to reordered them, but I have to pay full price for it. My question how is that they have the products for me to reorder and pay full price, but they did not have them and send them for the sale price those products were purchased? I am still wondering and disappointed on what they did. I did not go to the stores because they are not great and the service either and I was hoping it was better online. BUT NOT.

I found an email dated a week after the order was placed in my junk folder saying all sixteen items were no longer available, and the order had been canceled. I have used Wallflowers plug in air fresheners for many years. The oil in the little bottles used to last 2 or 3 months. If you have 2 to 4 of them plugged in at your home which most people do... It's rather costly to always have a fragrance in your home that you like. Early summer or in the spring I noticed they were empty pretty quickly. At 1st I thought maybe the electrical outlet was stronger so I tried using different outlets. This is a brand new apartment so I would think the wiring is just fine!
I just noticed 2 of them were empty today September 23rd. Went to get my refills out of the drawer and this time favors still in the bag and had receipt showing they were just purchased August 23rd. So they only lasted one month!! On the other hand I have a Yankee Candle plug in (sage and citrus) in my kitchen area and it's not empty and it's been there over 3 months! Since the Wallflowers disappeared so quickly both of these last 2 times I purchased them... But not all of the other years I used them... They surely must be doing something different with them To make them dissipate so quickly. Waste of money!!

When I went back a few days later, I found the finish was damaged!! I was just sick! The oil had leaked and eaten through the finish on this burl table with inlay. Unfortunately, since I didn’t know the diffuser had caused the problem, I set it on another table. This time I left it there for weeks. The damage is horrible. This is a hand-painted chest, also in the foyer to have both of these pieces refinished will be hundreds and hundreds of dollars. As corrosive as that says, it really does make me wonder what we're breathing in and how corrosive it may be to our lungs!

Disappointed with the recent coupon for a free body care product. I use the sprays from this company and come to find out I cannot use my coupon because it is a dollar more than allowed. I was constantly being pushed to a lotion, which I do not use. I also offered to pay the extra dollar and I was told no, the company doesn't allow that. Also, she informed me that she has been with B&BW for 20 years! LOL. Not my problem. As she continued to discount my complaint and fully supported her rude manager. I just hung up the telephone.
So, I will shop at Yankee Candle. They don't act like the hateful bunch at Bath & Body Works. Furthermore. I don't care how much I love a product. When I'm treated as a second class citizen by a retailer (Bath and Body Works). Guess what? I will take my business to others who treat me fairly. I will make this short and to the point. Wallflowers plug ins have burned my face just from being in the air. I developed blisters along with burning and flaky rash on my face. Yes, I know it’s the plug in for sure because I tested it again and it did the same thing. Not only did it burn my face (or did damage to my skin), it also made a hole in my trash bag when I threw it away. My mother also had the same problem. The scented oil burns and melts things. If it can burn or melt something, why would you want it floating in your air. I will never use this again and have already advised everyone on my social media platforms about this product. That’s all I have to say.

I have been buying B&BW deep cleansing hand soaps for about 10 years. I have always LOVED them! They made my hands feel very clean and soft after, not dry. That was hard to find in a soap that also has 100s of different scents. I stocked up of so many that my husband cut me off and I didn't buy any for a year and a half. Almost 2 years. I go back this past week with the awesome sales and bought 10-15 soaps and other things. Get home, open 3 new ones and go to wash my hands and squirt???? Get soap all over my new shirt...
This soap is like water! Came out so fast it hit my shirt instead of my hand!! Never happened before. I thought it might have been that particular soap. Nope. All of them are very liquidy not thick like the old ones. This stuff is like Dollar Store brand! I am beyond disappointed!!! I can't say I won't come back because I buy other things like the candles but as far as the soap goes I don't think I will waste my money on this new formula???

A couple hours later I started noticing my forearms were turning red, bumpy and itchy. I'm now on day 4 and it's still red bumpy and itchy. I have used Benadryl, cortisone lotion and Aveeno anti-itch lotion. Some of the products alleviate the itchy feeling but the red bumps are still there. Some of the bumps are drying up so now it looks like small scabs on my arms. I have used Bath & Body Works products before and I've never experienced anything like this. I am thinking and hoping that it is because the lotion may be old because I believe this is a lotion flavor that is sold around the holidays.

I’ve been a long time B&BW shopper and things seem to be changing in the quality department. Their products are very expensive and don’t seem to last as long. From lotions to soap! But the worst experience I’ve had thus far has been with their high priced fragrance night lights called wallflowers. Somewhere between half done and a third done, the liquid inside stops producing its smell, and turns a hideous brown color. I’ve waited it out on my last 5 that I purchased hoping the smell would kick in, but it basically sits there rotting. Very very disappointing.

Bought both of these items (above) and 3 bath bombs from there (Unicorn, ultra foaming and something else). Ridiculous prices. Sure, they had "sale, sale everywhere" listed in their store but every time I asked, is "this" or "that' on sale, she'd say no. Finally she came over and whispers, the sale is for the cheap stuff. What you're buying is the higher quality stuff (Aromatherapy) and these aren't on sale but the stuff you're getting is much better quality. Whatever, right, my daughter wanted them as part of birthday gifts so I give in.
GRANTED THE EUCALYPTUS SPEARMINT Body Wash & Foam Bath IS LIKE HEAVEN. My daughter wanted me try it because she loved it so much and I MEAN IS AMAZING so okay, $14 well spent. However, the candle? No... First of all, the baby-sized candle (also $14) wasn't able to be lit because of the sad, inferior wick built into the candle. This is the THIRD candle I've bought from them that stops lighting about 1/3 of the way and I thought well maybe it was a fluke, a bad fluke... but here we are again. Sure, it smells like heaven but what am I suppose to do with it? Walk by and sniff it to death? Maybe I can spread some of this wax under my nose like VICKS to get a scent here and there.
The bath bombs literally BOMBED. They were suppose to do xyz according to the store rep. I could have thrown some ** and some food coloring together and saved a bunch of money (they were $8 EACH). Save your money people. For sure, use the bath gel. That stuff is heavenly. Oh but wait, it should be "Aromatherapy EUCALYPTUS SPEARMINT". According to the store rep, the other stuff (ALL OF IT) is cheaply made and you'd have to use 2 to 3 times the amount to get the same quality of the Aromatherapy stuff. The scent is overpowering but I love it. It really does seem to calm you and my daughter loves it too. The other stuff, if you want a bath bomb and you really enjoy your bath time, might I suggest going to LUSH. You won't regret it. Stay away from bath bombs and candles from BBW.

I am big fan of B&BW and I want to see these items improve. The 3 wick candles are inconsistent in term of strength of scents. Some are strong and you can clearly smell when burning. Others you can even smell even though I burn them for hours. For example I love the Eucalyptus and Mint. It's strong and I can smell it no matter where I have it burning. Then I have the Lemon Mint Leaf and it gives off absolutely no smell at all. In addition the 3 wicks as they burn close to the last quarter of the candle burn so low that they go out because the wax has burned so much. I want to continue to buy these candles because I love the variety they have but they are not cheap and if this continues to happen I'm going with a more reliable candle.

Jordan Landing Plaza store: my card was left with family (out of state). I went to store with a picture of the card (#/PIN). Store wouldn’t accept it. Called customer service to see if they would reissue a new card via email (something the card says they can do if it is lost or stolen and you give them the card number) and they said they couldn’t do that but I could order online and pick up in store. Went back into store and the same employee (Lizzie with a short and rigid response) told me I couldn’t order to pick up in store.
I called the same customer service number and a different guy answered and told me if I had the gift card receipt he could help me otherwise I was to call another service number. I had my sister email me the receipt and gift receipt. I called customer service again and got the first guy that I talked to (Lloyd). He was very confusing and wasn’t able to help me but told me to call the Victoria Secret Customer service line. I reminded him I was at Bath and Body Works. He told me to call a different number.
I called it and was rerouted to another number where I talked with Brittany about my experience. She was apologetic and empathetic towards the situation. She was surprised that the store wouldn’t let me enter in the card number and pin as she reported most Bath and Body Works will let you do that but it’s up to the discretion of the individual store. She told me it was after hours so I would have to call back in the morning and they could reissue me a card via online. I talked with Lizzie again to see if she could contact her manager to see if they could approve me using my gift card number. She went into the back of the storeroom and came back saying she called several people to make sure and was told their location will not accept gift cards unless I had the physical card on me. This took about 40 minutes from start to finish.
It was an embarrassing and frustrating experience. I was excited to get this gift card as last year I shopped at the very same store and bought many soaps and lotions (at least 30+) for gifts and to use at home. But after my experience with Lizzie and the Jordan Landing Plaza in West Jordan UT, I will not be returning. I’m trading my $15 gift card in for an Amazon Gift Card.

A little while ago I went in to the store with the intent of buying a bunch of candles, soaps and body sprays. I sprayed a tester to see what it smelled like, and one of the staff came over and yelled at me and said that I couldn’t spray anything and that they have a candle that smells exactly like that and if I wanted to know what it smelled like then I could just smell the candle. I had already decided on purchasing this spray so as I started to say “no thank you” the girl walked away. I was pretty uncomfortable at this point as the store was full of people and everyone saw her get mad at me, so I decided to just buy the spray and get the heck out of there. Once in line the same girl came over to me and handed me a candle and said “you want this or not?” Me not wanting to cause a scene I said “no thank you, I’m sorry”.
She then rolled her eyes, dramatically sighed and walked away. I never even said I wanted the candle even in the first place and I was clearly holding the bottle of spray that I was smelling earlier while in line for checkout. Anyway after she stormed off with the candle I got up to cash finally and I asked to speak to a manager because I was treated very rudely and felt extremely uncomfortable. The girl at the cash put her hand on her hip and said “ya actually she was right. You were spraying a body spray and you shouldn’t have, you could’ve just smelled the candle.” And I said very awkwardly as I have very VERY bad anxiety “...well it said tester...” and she continued to roll her eyes, and slam my spray into a bag and practically tossed the change at me. Given literally the 10 people surrounding me watching I just said “have a great day” and gave her a genuine smile and practically ran out of there.
Will never ever ever be going back to that location. Felt completely ganged up on by staff, I’ve worked in customer service for YEARS and if I ever treated a customer like that, especially for not even doing anything wrong, I would be fired on the spot. I later found out that the first staff member who got mad about the spray was actually the store manager. Awful awful. Now if the most expensive of the 3 was $13, and it’s buy 3 get 2 free, where’s the discount? “Oh, they take a little off of each product,” she says. So I told her “put that on a sign instead of buy 3 get 2 free. That’s false advertising.” Has anyone else experienced this at a Bath & Body store?

I made an online purchase on Black Friday for home fragrances. Good deal but 3 get 3 free included a free tote bag with a $30.00 purchase before taxes. Well I made that requirement and I added promotion code and it said, "You are good. Proceeded to checkout and completed purchase." Nowhere did I see it asking for promotion code to be added again and why should it since I already added to my order. Well I followed up immediately with customer service and was told I had to add at check out. I explained that there was not a place that I seen asking for this and again why should it since I had already added to my bag? They could not help me so I lost out on my free tote bag. I have purchased many things thru Sephora and Ulta and never had an issue getting any promotions at checkout. So beware ordering online with this store. They might rip you off like they did me?

I think Bath & Body Works thinks their customers can’t do simple math!!! HOW IS YOUR BLACK FRIDAY SALE A SALE AT ALL!? Last week their candles were $12.95 for one... If you were to buy six the total is $77.70. Their CRAP sale is buy three candles for 24.50 and get 3 free... $73.50 is that price so you only save $4.20!!! IT'S NOT A SALE AT ALL!!! SHOP AMAZON FOR SALES!!! No longer a customer at Bath & Body Works and I’ll spread the word of their NON Black Friday sales!

If you have coupons, only one promotion code will work. So they send you multiple coupons in the mail and also a coupon for a free gift that is good online but won’t work if you apply a 20% off code with your order. So you can’t even get a free gift. And if they have a special online with $2.50 for hand soaps which should automatically be applied at checkout, you still have to put a code in to get that price. No sense in ordering online as they have “old school” technology!!

I always thought the store was a joke with the "if you buy this you get that" or "if you spend this much, you can get this much." WHAT A SCAM!!! BUT Now, I plugged in a wallflower, after two hours the house was fully engulfed in pine smell. Then I saw a puddle under my dishwasher. I told my husband the dishwasher was leaking. As he went to inspect it, I noticed the wallflower I had plugged in two hours before was empty. I then told him that it was the wallflower that had leaked across the counter, down the dishwasher and on to my hardwood floor.
The display area on my dishwasher is DISINTEGRATED. As several people mentioned before that this substance has ruined a COMB, A RADIO, A KITCHEN COUNTER AND A DINING ROOM TABLE. Please take this off the market. I cannot get the smell out, my dishwasher front is ruined and the smell is permeating. I am literally cooking sauerkraut to get the smell out of my house. This is a great, and relatively expensive lotion that my sister buys me each year as a gift. I don't want to bug her for the order number so I couldn't complain on the company website. It is stupid for a company to sell a lotion that does not pour in a 'pump' glass bottle where, if the cap breaks, the lotion simply will not come out. Rather than go through the expense of return, please consider providing this lotion in a jar with a screw-on-lid rather than a pump cap. It is just too thick!!

A lot of people have been complaining about the wallflowers, but for 2 years now I haven’t had any negative side effects. I'm only using one at the moment for my bedroom. My cat and I sleep in here every night and neither of us has had any issues as of yet. This doesn’t mean that I won’t anticipate it though. I haven’t noticed any formula changed either in the handsoaps or lotions or body shower gels, though I’ve only been using them for about 5-6 years, so they may have changed and I’ve just never known. I’m 20 years old, and I live in a nearby town from our closest Bath and Body Works. Currently, I go to Vidalia Georgia to shop there, and I have never in my life had bad customer service! We go there about 2-3 times a year to pick up holiday or season soaps, small Germ-X bottles, and body scrubs. Once a year I may pick up some perfume or lotion.
Every item I’ve ever purchased was of great quality and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not only this, but the staff is very pleasant to be around. I really appreciate it when the worker(s) come to conversate with you a bit, and even suggest their favorite items in the store. Last time I went, 4 days ago, the lady working stood there and smelled soaps with me and commented on them. Now obviously there weren’t too many people in the store because I came a bit early, but it’s really nice when employees interact with you some and give some input on things about sales and special deals when they aren’t checking someone out. Great staff and products! I look forward to my next trip!

Not sure what it is but it ruined my hardwood. (Awesome thanks). This is the first time I experienced this in my years of use so I questioned whether it was the product or not. I wiped the brown sticky residue away and plugged it back in (with a paper mat below it this time) and sure thing, after a few days the brown residue was building back up. Thankfully since I was monitoring it I caught it before it started dripping onto the floor again. Clearly a weird defect within this product. Overall my opinion is just that these things could be so much better. A different company should sell a superior product. These seem cheaply made and I’ve had a pretty inconsistent experience.

Package labeling on the wallflower refills is incorrect and misleading. Bath and Body states that the refills 'lasts for weeks AND weeks,' but they only last about 2 weeks. The use of 'and' on this label infers that their product lasts for 4 weeks. I recently purchased about 10 refills in different scents. I've tracked them on the calendar and so far, none have lasted more than 16 days. That means, for every dispenser I have, I have to replace the refill twice monthly. It would not be so bad if the product were not so ridiculously overpriced. I contacted the company and they apologize that I am unhappy, but make no apologies for the mislabeling. The product works pretty well, but I can't afford to spend that much money on air fresheners.

I’ve been shopping with B&BW for 5 years and never had a problem, until I ordered recently during one of their sales and they shipped me leaking and unsealed product (Gentle Foaming Hand Soap). Anyone can attest that every soap is in the “locked” position and has a plastic seal so you know the product you’ve received is new, unused, and untampered with. But after waiting an extra couple of days for it to be processed and shipped, which I can forgive, I know they must’ve been busy. I don’t mind waiting a little longer for my order to be right. But my order was awful when it finally did arrive. The box was nearly destroyed, there was very little paper in the box to protect my product and ALL of my soaps were unsealed. One was leaking all over the rest and had seeped through the box. The product was half gone by the time it arrived!
When I contacted their customer care, I got the biggest cockamamie lie I’ve ever heard. “We are no longer shipping sealed product.” It took me a couple days to be able to control my temper. This is just an insult to my intelligence. You expect me to believe, you don’t ship LIQUID product with seals anymore? Really? How dumb do you think I am? You know how I know that’s BS? I’ve ordered from you before, recently. So that's a lie. Anyone with common sense knows if you ship liquids. They need a seal. Why? BECAUSE THEY LEAK. It doesn’t make sense that a business that’s been around as long as B&BW wouldn’t know that. So I know you’re lying.
Worst customer service ever. They’re just treating me like I’m trying to scam them out of free products. Like I’d even want them after going through this. I’m done with a company that can encourage its employees to lie to its customers. I work too hard for my money to tolerate handing it to someone who’s going to disrespect my intelligence to my face.

BBW has frequent promotions of buy 3 get 2 free. I don't know exact promotion, but if you shop here, you will understand. When they have these promotions, I usually buy many items to take advantage of the "savings." I have been using BBW products for over 25 years and did not used to have these issues. Less than a year ago, I returned some rancid body lotion to them and they let me exchange it for the same product that wasn't rancid. I also bought a bunch of other products due to the promotion.
In the 25+ years I've been using their products, the products have lasted for years. I used one of the body creams but today, less than 1 year old, my (new, unused, unopened) body cream was rancid. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I had applied to several body areas and I had to re-shower to get the rancid smell off of me. Lotion products should not be going rancid within a year of purchase. Yes, I will return it and they will probably let me exchange it for a new product that will once again go rancid before I am unable to use it all.

Poor quality and ingredients change in their body soap products - Has anyone else noticed a drastic change in the quality of Bath & Body Works body soap? It has always been my fave but in the last year or two it has changed a lot. It takes a good 4-5 times more soap to get a little lather and the lather last only a few seconds and breaks down (means you have to pour even more on), the scent is almost non-existent. It use to be more rich, enough so you could shave with it. Now it is like slightly thick water.
I use to get a lot of compliments on the scent. Now you can't smell it outside of the bottle. It doesn't clean like it use to and at $14 for a small bottle I'm thinking I may need to switch to another brand. I loved their Japanese cherry blossom. Think I may return my unused bottles. Even the body spray seems weak and more alcoholic like. I was a very die-hard fan of their products for many years investing a good chunk of change. :(

I have been targeted and followed throughout your store which obviously makes me simultaneously uncomfortable and angry. After a few times of this happening I reported it to the floor manager who assured me it wouldn't happen again and the security staff would be spoken too.
After that incident I decided to not return to that location thus I now go to the East 44th st location (since last year) and I am having the exact same problem. I was just at this location yesterday where your security staff harassed targeted me. It was a rainy cold day I was in this store not in business attire but in a hooded jacket, jeans and sneakers and the security guard Mike (according to the store manager) watched from across the room then proceeded to come close just to zero in on and watch me.
This bias behavior is unacceptable. There were plenty of people in the store when I entered and I hadn't been in the store less than 5 minutes before this happened. I approached Mike and asked him why was he targeting me. The was a store full of people to watch but yet his focus is on me. He must not have liked that I questioned him and he began to get irate and combative until a coworker convinced him to go back to doing his job. Then later that same coworker and guard could be heard disrespecting me and making light of the situation. I shop at this store a lot and for me to feel as if I cannot go to any location without being judged on my appearance is ridiculous. I will not continue to be harassed. Something must be done, I will not continue to jump from location to location just because your employees are bias either I am at the point where I am ready to seek counsel and attain an attorney

I have used the wallflowers intermittently for years. I don't always use them but I have used them in several areas of my home at one time. I always installed the bulbs properly and have not had one leak but I have seen a few leave residue on the wall. The main thing is that I recently moved and so I pulled the wallflowers out during the holidays and even bought a few new plugs to go with some of the scents I had stacked up on during a sale. Well all winter including Christmas day, I have had the worst sinus headaches. I went away on business for 2 months and came home in March to continue to experience the worst headaches. I didn't know what the cause was but one day recently all of the plugs that I was using ran out and I left them empty and just unplugged them and sat them under the sink.
I can tell you, these last few weeks have been nice. No more wheezing and no more migraine headaches. These aren't the only products of BBW that cause issues. The hand soaps, especially the deep cleaning one causes severe skin breakouts and rash, the body sprays and lotions are filled with parabens, a dangerous synthetic hormone, and lots of other chemicals that shouldn't be near the body. The room sprays cause knock out allergy reactions and headaches too and this all sucks because I want to like this place so much but more and more their business is filled with holes that can't be ignored and they make enough off of their shoppers to take the nastiness out of their products. I haven't used none of their body care in years and now it looks like I will be getting rid of my candles and wallflowers too because they are toxic to our health.

Online representatives are VERY helpful & WILL correct an order problem. If you need help with invoices - FORGET IT!
Whomever took over product decisions about 3 years ago has made terrible decisions. Prices have quickly jumped, as much as double on some items. Many promotions were dumped and popular products discontinued. When you sell too much of a scent during promotions, it will be awhile before people replace it - the product is still popular.
Someone decided to discontinue perfume. Perfume will not sell as frequently because it last longer than sprays but this new executive's decisions are about the bottom dollar! B & B needs a better research team to study online buying trends and product preference by people ALL over the US, not just one area. Wild Honeysuckle perfume was selling at $80+ a bottle online before Christmas. It was sold at the semi-annual sale and prices online went to $20 a bottle because of availability. In February, prices online are up to $30 already. B&B Vanilla Noir & Blackberry Amber are selling at $80+ a bottle. Many discontinued products are VERY popular. I recently started ordering Wallflowers from B&BW Online. The first order I got, I ordered Cinnamon Stick and they sent something AWFUL smelling - very musky - but labeled Cinnamon Stick. I took it back to the store, which happened to be on the day of some stupid candle sale, and the employees refused to help me - they said I could wait in line, which was approximately 45 minutes or come back another day. I did come back another day. I then ordered the Cinnamon and Clove Bud Wallflowers online and realized the ripoff. First -- NO WAY does it cost $5.99 to ship two or 3 2-pack boxes of Wallflowers. No way. I can get giant boxes filled with stuff from Kohl's or Amazon for nothing, but this little box is $6?! Secondly -- it takes 2-3 weeks to show up! Thirdly -- by the time they arrive, they are leaking all over the box! Fourth -- Sales tax: I live in Wisconsin where my sales tax is 0.051%.
On a $54.00 order, they have my sales tax calculated at $2.99 when it should be $2.74. Yes - that's minimal, but for a company like theirs - it adds up if they are miscalculating hundreds of online orders! Today, I wanted to order 6 boxes of Cinnamon and Clove Bud 2-packs. B&BW is offering $10 orders of $30 or more. My total comes to $54.00; shipping $5.99; tax $2.99 - and my total on the site is $52.54. But, if I do the math myself, it's $52.23. WHICH MEANS - they are applying SALES TAX to your SHIPPING CHARGES!!!! Just a little FYI for consumers - if shipping is listed SEPARATELY from the cost of the item, it is NOT taxable. B&BW ripping off Americans one shipped package at a time. I wonder how much profit they have gained from that.

When I went in to the store I asked the clerk about the sale and she showed me the candles and instructed me to just show the website at check out. While I was shopping the manager walked by and we talked about the sale and what a good deal it was. However, when I went to check out the girl refused to honor the website and said I had to have a coupon that would have been sent to my email. I have tried countless times to get the emails by signing up on their website as well as calling their guest services number however I never get them for some reason. They aren't in my spam either. Additionally their website didn't say anything about having to have a coupon to get the price.
I called customer service after the store refused to honor their advertisement and was told to order them online instead. Ordering online costs extra for shipping and they also didn't have the same products as in store. They had considerably less options than my local store. I reached out to their customer services through email three times only to be brushed off and given their basic coupon policy and a "sorry". It is unacceptable to advertise a sale as being online and in store and then not honor the sale in store. Their customer service is a total joke. I have spent so much money at this store over the years but they just lost a very loyal customer.

I'm so disappointed because I love these scents, but while I was cleaning my kitchen I noticed that the Wallflower that I keep above my stove but under my ventilation hood has eaten the paint and rusted away my ventilation hood. The spot smells like Black Cherry Merlot. If these eat away at paint and metal, what are they doing to our lungs? :(

It is beyond the pale how when you put codes in for free items or percentages off, the shipping is lower before you put the codes in, then the shipping jumps up 50%. I have a card for a free item and before I put the code in, the shipping was $5.99, then when it accepted the code the shipping went to $9.99. A free item, but I would have to pay in shipping, plus taxes what the item costs, that's not a deal.
Bath & Body Works online is shady. I ordered something a few months ago and one of the mists was half empty. Yes they replaced it, only after I had a lengthy conversation with the customer service rep. I even took pics of the mist immediately. I will not be using their online services anymore. I've been a customer of Bath and Body Works for well over decade, but if I want something, I'll just go to the store. Terrible customer service. Stay away from the online site because no matter what kind of discounts you have or free items, they will figure out a way to where that free item or discount isn't either.

I placed an order last Saturday (18th) and today Monday I received tracking no. They shipped separate shipment. First one arriving 30th, and the second one will be arriving December 5th. If I knew or the website mention about this before submitting the order about how long it takes, I wouldn't buy from the website at all. I called the CS, the lady answered the phone and was so annoyed. She kept asking, "Sorry, what did you say???" She said usually it takes 2-7 business days. I said, "YES! But I have bought from your website for a long time and most orders arrive 3-4 business days, plus I paid for the shipping not even free ship. Also not even BLACK FRIDAY!" All I wanted is let me know the delayed shipment! If it takes 10-15 days I won't even bother.
