I would definitely not purchase anything from this place. I placed an order to buy 3 and received 4 for free. When I forgot to add the 4 free ones, I called customer service. They wouldn't even allow me to pick them up at the store. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never shopping with them again.

Did online order Dec 7- for shipping, paid for 5-10 day shipping, they never shipped order until delivery date Dec 19, now will be expected on Dec 26. Not acceptable. If you do online order, shipped to store and pick up at store, do not rely on them to ship. They are not dependable.

I checked the balance on a card I received last year and it had $50 on it. I tried to use it 2 weeks later and it said the balance was $0. I've been calling them for 4 weeks and each time I'm told someone will email me in 3 to 5 days. No one has contacted me. I was only shopping there because I had a gift card, but now I will never buy anything from them.

Ordered Dec 6. PROMISED delivery by 12/18! Now order was detained and I spent a lot of $$ to NOT get presents I needed by 12/24! I ordered online. Customer service was way less than helpful. If you do like this company..Go in person to the store! I won't ever shop there again.

I ordered 7 candles online during a special sale. I only received 3, and only 1 I had ordered. My account reflected the order was completed in full. After much back & forth w/ customer service via DM, I finally got them to “re-ship” 4 & credit me for 2; however, they seemed adamant the order had been sent. The box wasn’t even big enough to hold 7 candles. My biggest concern is instead of making it right when they knew only 1/7 was in stock, they sent 1, threw in 2 randoms & marked the order “completed in full”. Leaving me looking like a scammer when I’m the one who was scammed.

Ordered 11/21/25. Order shipped 11/23 and never received by DHL. Called approx. 12/3 and they shipped a replacement order by FedEx 12/05 and never received it as well. Then they send an email saying they received my return which was not from me as neither order was delivered and would issue a credit which never happened. Had to call customer service 12/12, CS rep said they would issue refund. Get a message from my bank and the refund is short $7.48 vs what I paid. This is the worst company ever and will never do business with them again.

I placed an order Dec 2, 2025 it was shipped out. FedEx delivered it to the wrong address. I called them and they basically told me to look in the neighborhood for the package. Are you kidding me. I then called Bath and Body Works and at first, the First Gentleman I spoke to told me to wait a few days to see if the package shows up. It never did. I called again Bath and Body Works, they are sending out another replacement order. I am still waiting. I will never do business with them again.

Hello, I use to shop Bath and Body all the time. Every time in went in store, Market Place, Burnsville MN. it was easy to spend $ 100.00. NO JOKE. I would buy the Candle Named Fireside. Lots of them. The last time I bought Fireside was 2 years ago. They discontinued the WONDERFUL CANDLE. Why???? So I stopped shopping at Bath and Body for good. It's real sad. That candle made you all a lot of MONEY. I thought that was the main reason to carry a great candle. For the money. SAD<SAD<SAD!!!

I purchased 13 items when they had the hand soap on sale for $2.95 ea online. Fed Ex damaged it in transit- they sent it back (no delivery). I never heard back from BBW, I had to call, so they replaced my order at the full price of what it is now $7.95. The original e- mail said, they would replace Everything, honoring the sale price, so now I’m only getting 7 out of 13 items purchased. BBW, needs to send me the other 6 soaps. Not happy at all, the salesperson in the store was very rude! And didn’t want to deal with it. I would like a response back or I’m calling their headquarters. So far I have no product, was purchased with a gift card, no refund.

Terrible customer service!! I made a return bday gift with receipt. The cashier took my gift back and gave me a Bath & Body Works gift card. I went to the store 2 weeks later to use it and guess what, there was nothing on it!!!! A blank empty gift card and they took my gift back!!! Called twice customer service and put me in hold numerous times couldn't help. Sorry, nothing can do. Called the store in Parmamus Park Mall, where I purchased it on Nov 13, 2025 and the manager found the order. Then got email from BATH Body Works, "We got your inquiry and the gift card you are given has no balance. Sorry, we can't help you with your inquiry!!" Crazy! They have the exact time I came in 1 pm and I'm out of my gift for their cashier's mistake!! Who would want to buy from them if you give a gift to someone with a receipt and they will give you back an empty no-balance gift card!!

Just because you order online there is no guarantee you will get it, they will just cancel the order. You are better off shopping in store. I ordered a bag for the special they were having and just because I ordered online and they didn’t have it at the pick up store they canceled the order for the bag so I will not be getting a bag that I ordered. Just refund my money. So I didn’t get all the items I ordered and didn’t even offer another bag they have in stock.

I've been on hold with Customer Service for couple of hours and they just hang up my call when I asked for a Supervisor! This is the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. I paid for shipping fee for my order to be shipped and received an email for pick up, it's a simple concern but I'm now super pissed because of the agent I'm talked too can't even explain things clearly. I don't even understand how they assess their agents. It's completely horrible!!! I'm never going to buy or order their products ever again!!!

I have been shopping at Bath and Body Works for years. I receive coupons in the mail about every month or so. I went to use a coupon I received in the mail today and was unable to use it, not because it was expired. When I went to check out, the cashier said she couldn't find my number in the system, so I couldn't use the coupon I had in my hand because they didn't know for sure if it belonged to me or not. She told me to call customer service because she couldn't help me.
I spend an hour and a half with customer service, mostly on hold before they eventually hung up on me instead of coming back from the hold. They assured me they found my account and that the associate should have looked me up through email if the phone number wasn't working but that they can't make a store honor the coupons. So I called the store back and tried speaking to the manager who said they can't look me up under my email, that I would need to download their app to access my coupons (which I physically get in the mail). This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I'm done shopping at this store.

I always purchase the 3-wick candles and the plug-ins. I have noticed that the scent isn't as strong as it use to be. This is why I buy your candles and plug ins....I like to the strong scent that fills my home. Bring back the original potent ingredients.

I was disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service I received in the Augusta, GA location. I won't go into detail but the the customer service was so bad that I opted to return my purchase the next day. My interaction with the sales clerk validated my decision to return. Another day and another cashier but still the same poor service. Today clerk was rude and seemed like she didn't want to be at work, at least seemed like she didn't want to help me. But even before that she was having side conversations with the clerk next to her instead of paying attention to the task at hand (which is the customers). I don't shop here for myself at all (anymore) but I was purchasing a gift. I will never return to this store.

Today, 11/22/25, at the Turkey Creek location in Knoxville, Tennessee, I tried to exchange a tube of body cream that I bought as "extras" to keep as gifts. The cream has separated. It is oily with clumps of cream. It is the scent, "Forest" and I keep these on hand to use as last minute gifts. The associate told me it has been discontinued for too long to allow an exchange. I looked on the tube to see if there was an expiration date and could not find one. I have never ever had a problem exchanging anything at Bath and Body Works in the past. I am a teacher and get several gifts a year so occasionally I am gifted a scent that is not a favorite and I change it out. This cream is obviously a defective product. I have other "men scents" that I bought at the same time that have not separated. Just a little surprised and disappointed by this shift in their exchange policy.

Approx. month ago I purchased some car air freshners from bath & body works. I installed one in my new car onto the heater vent. For some reason it literally exploded, causing the liquid to run onto the heater control pane. It totally disfigured the panel. It was like acid was poured on it. I contacted the customer service dept, give them all the information that was required, pictures, cost to repair panel, etc. I was told I would hear from a rep within 3 days. That was 2 weeks ago, still nothing. If that's the kind of product they're selling, and not willing to deal with a very disappointed customer, I will never buy another product from them.

I placed the order November 5, 2025, and on November 18, 2025 I called because I haven’t received my order. I was told that I will receive an email confirmation and my order will be sent out that day to me because of an incorrect addressing. I called back on November 21, 2025 and nothing was corrected or done. I was on the phone over a hour to give the correct information for my delivery. After speaking with the representative for over an hour, nothing was resolved. I was told I’ll receive a refund because my frustration had exceeded its max. I am waiting on the email confirmation for my refund. Customer service is horrible, and there’s a terrible language barrier.

I don’t recommend ordering online with this company. Especially when they are offering wallflower refill plugins for $2.95. The glass oil filled plugins will arrive in a thin plastic bag leaking everywhere. Their wallflower plugin units leak oil and actually took the varnish off the bottom of the cabinet I had one plugged in under, it was 10 inches away from the cabinet. Aside from the particular items I mentioned above. I have no problem with their other products. Their packaging for shipping literally sucks though.

I was having a Girls' night and my Boyfriend ordered a bunch of body sprays from Bath and Body works online for all us girls, when he went to pick up the order he asked if he could get extra bags and tissue paper for each individual girl, they were so very accommodating and gave us extra bags and tissue paper! Thank you Bath and Body works for making our Girls' night extra special!

Absolutely abysmal customer service, the worst I have seen in many years, honestly if not ever? I am, or rather was a new customer, who previously shopped at B&BW years ago. When my niece requested specific scents as a Birthday gift, I created an account, and placed an order, also having added numerous items for myself, and a friend's upcoming Birthday, because why not. The order went through fine, only to immediately receive a "cancelled order" email (no personal email, or any form of communication), with the reason being "suspicious activity" which was very odd to me. Quite confused, as someone who places *many* online orders, I called their helpline, explained the situation, was put on hold for an extended period of time, and then told to call back in 15 minutes (the customer should never be the one who has to waste time calling back in my strong opinion).
I did however call back 20 minutes later, again repeated the situation, to be told I had been misinformed, the department needed was not open until 10 am, so please call back after this time. I am a very patient person, and do not take out annoyance on service reps, with having been in customer service a good portion of my life. So I once again called back after 10 am, rinse and repeat the spiel, placed on hold, and when the rep returned, I was informed my bank rejected the purchase even though the email clearly stated "we cancelled your order" as shown in the attached photos (this is a lie, as a former Bank Manager, seeing clearly the transaction was approved, with funds deducted, and held, then cancelled by the vendor), with the reason given to me was my phone number did not match my credit card information...Again incorrect as I have had the same phone number for well over 20 years. (This was not believed??)
I was encouraged to place the order again "using the correct phone number" which the rep was insistently aggressive that I was using a false number, and to utilize PayPal since all cards stored, along with address, and phone number are already verified. I did so simply for my niece at this point, and once again, an order email confirmation, followed by "cancelled due to unusual activity". I opted for one last ditch effort, by creating a new account, and using a different credit card via PayPal again...The same occurred, but this time, they waited waited several hours until literally moments before their current sale had expired.
Long story long, I contacted both credit card companies I had used, they confirmed the transactions had been approved without incident, and it was the vendor who opted to cancel them. Also to add, both shared the information that B&BW was by far one of the top, most frequent vendors they see with cancelled orders, and when speaking with clients, it was almost always during their better sale promotions, and with similar "accusations" of using a false email address, and/or phone number. Whatever their motive, it is extremely shady at best, and such a waste of how many customers they likely lose for no apparent reason.
Bath & Body Works is now on my permanent no buy list, whether in-store, or online. I'm only one potential customer, but we certainly add up! (And a side note, I chose to discuss this situation with my brother, sister-in-law, and my niece who is just old enough to understand company ethics, and we all are opting to have nothing more to do with Bath & Body Works; my niece was not disappointed surprisingly, impressively she is quite was mad at them.)

You all are losing your touch. You need more fruity scents. The body mist smells that is out now smells like old woman. Nothing personal. Just need more cheerful fruity scents. This time going it was just a disappointment. Even the Christmas scents are bad. I bought the original scent winter apple candy but the others are just not great. Town and country shopping center needs happier employees. They don't help and are rude when asking a question. Maybe a bad day.

Visited today from the mentor location was severely disappointed with the service. I came to one of the workers asking if they were still having their annual Christmas candle sale in December, (I have a slight accent due to me coming here from Europe). The worker looked at me like I was stupid and said I don’t get what you’re asking me. I ask again and she looks says sorry she can’t help. She then walks to one of her coworkers and starts mocking me and makes fun of my accent. I don’t usually get offended like this but I felt like I was a customer getting treated with such disrespect was unprofessional.

I ordered four candles from Bath & Body. When I opened the box, I found one was broken. I called their Customer Service and was put on hold for 10 minutes. That never happened before. So, I hung up and called back later in the day. Same thing happened: placed on hold for 15 minutes. Hung up again. I decided to try their AI text messaging. After answering several questions regarding my name, order number, email, zip code, I'm placed in a queue to wait for an agent. There were 196 people in front of me! This time I waited. It took 45 minutes before an agent texted me and he asked me the same questions that the AI had asked me. It took over an hour to get my refund - then he attempted to sell me more candles! No, thank you! Bath and Body used to be my go-to for candles and other items and their Customer Service was excellent. I've been a customer for over 20 years - no more.

I will never order online again. My products were thrown in a box with very little packing and no leak proof tape on anything so of course one product leaked all over until the bottle was empty. Everything that was in the box was covered with it. I tried their customer service chat about it and it says it will connect you to a customer service associate but never does. This lack of service earned them this well deserved review.

I purchased an e-gift card and a month later I’m still waiting to receive it. Their communication is confusing, I receive emails about an order being delivered to me by mail when it’s an e-gift card I purchased. I've been trying to reach out to someone that can help in their customer service line and nothing has brought a solution to this matter and every time I call the waiting time is more from 20 minutes to an hour. This has been the worse experience of purchasing an e-gift card and the worse experience with a customer service line.

Why doesn’t Bath & Body run a sale with all of their offers available. Seems like every day you have to login and get a new promotion and each time they charge you a shipping fee. It is unreasonable to run daily promotions and not offer free shipping since you have to order multiple times to get all the preferred deals. The app is extremely difficult to navigate when you have a reward in a free item coupon. It’s near impossible to take advantage of the deals at one time.

The last two online orders were missing items or substituted with something that I didn't pay for. Unfortunately, my local store closed due to a mall remodel and the chain wasn't willing to pay for the space any longer. Online is my only option, but I will be thinking twice before I order online again. Impossible customer service and couldn't even log in to my account to start a chat. Very aggravating and honestly not worth it.

I put the 6 items in my cart to buy and the buy 3 get 3 free coupon said it was good for 7 days still but at midnight that night I went to purchase my items when I got paid and it had change and the coupon was no longer available so my total went up 22$ but it said it wasn't expiring until the 7th. I purchased in the 5th so I'm very disappointed and unsatisfied that I wasn't able to get the coupons or deal I selected for my order.

They refuse to price adjust when you purchase items, and they go on sale less than a week after you bought them. Even when I was willing to lose my 20% off coupon. The order was done online. They are never helpful online and are always sorry for the inconvenience. Do not purchase anything online at full price, even if you have a coupon. They will rather make you drive to the store, make a return, and repurchase the items to get a price adjustment. The associates at the stores are more helpful.

DO NOT EVER BUY FROM BATH AND BODY WORKS ONLINE, they have gone into my account and have taking $39.99 three times out of my account and when I call they try to tell me it's a processing fee and to wait 3-5 business days so I wait and then they go and take another $39.99 so I call them back and they say that they have to charge it again for shipping and to wait 3-5 business days. I'll get the money back over $145.00 taken from me since September 22nd for a $39.99 order. They are scams and rip offs the online department! Go into the store, don't ever buy online!!!

I searched their website and found that if you have an issue—especially with a gift card—you should contact customer service. I spent 30 minutes entering information, talking to a robot, and then a real person, only to be told to call a phone number and speak with someone else because "it was a store issue." I was trying to find out why my gift card hadn't been activated. They had the gift card number, but I didn’t have the physical card since it was a gift for someone else. It felt like a waste of time online, only to be told I have to go through the whole process again. This definitely leaves a bad impression of the company.

Awful! I ordered from the store twice to do a curbside pickup. They say a 4-hour time frame is the entire day. Part of my order was canceled both times I tried to order. The website said everything was in stock at in stock at the store. I ordered 6 candles, got 2 because they waited the entire day to fill my order. I guess they want you to pay shipping and wait a week or so for your order. I'm very disappointed. I've been going to Bath and Body Works for years, this is awful, especially when it's a gift they tell you at the last minute they don't have it. Do better!!!! They have gone downhill.

Bath and Body ran out of a wall scent that I ordered online and instead of delaying shipping they sent me wrong scents, and they're clearly some of their worst sellers. Spoke with live agent who was very vague and rude from the beginning. I made it very clear I wanted the correct scents sent at the on sale price and they said they placed an order, but that was a lie. I have all the screenshots. Asked them to connect me with a supervisor and they are refusing. Issue not resolved.

I've been shopping at BBW for literally years! I've recently moved twice due to a house fire. I was able to save several candles. I burned one. It wouldn't stay lit. I tried to exchange it and they told me I needed a receipt. I shop with them soooo much that I don't know which receipt goes with which candle. I just wanted to exchange it. They said no. I called customer service and they said the same. I have a defective item and nobody wants to exchange one candle? Would if it was a gift to someone and it was over the "90-day" policy? So it was just a waste? That's piss poor customer service. Never again will I shop there. Horrible. They're already increasing the prices and decreasing the products and NOW selling defective products. Never again. They need to do BETTER!

I just had the worse experience with Bath & Body Works. I had three Defective wall flower plugs, they all would leak all over the place. We have been buying these and the three wick large candles for years, $100-$200 dollar purchase almost every time. Look at their return/exchange policy on the website and it sates that is All US stores you can return them if defective. Brought them to the Waterbury Ct store and they wanted Nothing to do with it. So got home that day and called cooperate, well they stated that they can’t do anything either, They were No help at all and wanted to give me a 20% discount only. When I tell you POOR customer service, wow! So they just lost a customer who has spent about $1,000 there so far. We will start buying Goose Creek and tell ALL our friends and family to sit the same.

Bought candle but had to cancel the items. Called customer service and they said I had to wait for shipping details before I could. Got the shipping details and called back same day and then I was told a whole different story but they said they would refund it. Yet as Bath & Body was finishing up the call they charged me instead of refund and when I contacted them 5min after the call they kept trying to act like I was crazy and that it was a pending charge from when I ordered. I tried telling them it was not and clearly shows 2 charges with no reversals but they kept saying I was wrong. I called my bank after and they confirmed bath & body stole from me. Now it's a fraud investigation especially since they were denying it, etc and I had recorded the calls and screenshot the chats. At this point I think I got enough to go after them for theft, etc. So yes stay away from this company.

I placed an online order August 10th. Got an email August 12th that it shipped. Another email that it was being delivered early on August 14th... NEVER CAME. It just looped right back to where it came from. I called customer service on August 17th, figuring I would give it some time. Customer Service says, "We're sorry, we will reship it in 3-7 business days"... SERIOUSLY? At least offer expedited shipping or something? So it will take roughly 3-4 weeks for my order to arrive to me. They've lost my business, unfortunately.

I’m done buying from B & B. They constantly discontinue products that I like. I don’t need the frustration. I don’t know how they think this is good marketing. Also, their products don’t have the fragrances with the quality they once had. Most of the discontinued products end up on eBay or markets like it for triple the cost. I buy something one time and then the next time I want to reorder it, it’s nowhere to be found. For me it makes the shopping experience aggravating.

I love Bath & Body Works. I shopped there for years but I'm very angry about rewards program. My friends and family all say the same thing, you cannot buy anything that you want, they've limited you to lotions, soap Etc. No candles and now no plugins. I am very disappointed. I purchased some 3-wick candles on sale for $10.99 each. I lit one the 1st time and not a minute passed I heard a loud pop, the rim cracked. I took it back to the store to replace it with same one of different. I was told at the store, I can't return or exchange it because its an out of stock item. WTH!!!! This is the 2nd time I've attempted to return something due to defect and they WOULD NOT do anything. This merchant DO NOT have to worry about me ANYMORE. I will NEVER purchase from them again.

Bath & Body Works promotion yesterday 8/13/25. I purchased an order to pick up in Peachtree City Ga. I received an email my order was ready for pickup. The next email was stating, "Yay! You picked up your order." I never picked up my order. The only solution was to refund me my money and reorder. Advised it will take 3-5 days before I receive my money back.. Biggest scam ever! Don't ever order online!!!

Greedy corporation. After spending hundreds of dollars with them. They refuse to acknowledge customer rewards. It is utterly Ridiculous that you can’t combine any of your rewards or coupons with the current promotion. They even put stipulations on a free item coupon stating that I can’t redeem it in online, I must go in person to present the coupon. I have decided not to spend a dime with them anymore. The quality has gone downhill anyways. Foaming soaps barely foam. Wallflowers don’t project in the room. After a day or 2, you can barely smell them. The body mist and lotions have no longevity.

I called customer service twice both times I was told my order would be expedited to 2 day shipping. Still never received my candles. I Finally called and demanded my money to be refunded. I placed an online order for store pickup, but when I got home, I realized several items were missing. Unfortunately, I'm not able to return to the store to resolve this. I reached out to an online agent, hoping for assistance, but was told the only solution was to go back to the store—despite the error not being mine. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I believe the missing items should have been mailed to me as a courtesy for the inconvenience. Mistakes happen, but it’s how they’re handled that reflects a company’s commitment to customer service.
The lack of flexibility and unwillingness to explore other solutions felt unprofessional. I know that many processes can be overridden or escalated with the right permissions, but the agent I spoke with didn’t seem interested in doing more than the bare minimum. It left me feeling like this company doesn’t truly value its customers, and that’s disheartening.

I have never had a problem with their candles but one just cracked in me. There is wax all over my table, my Alexa and the carpet. Please be careful when burning these 3 wick candles. I have a box full of them still but don't feel safe burning them. Asks for photo but won't let me upload them.

Ordered some 3 wick candles and Fed Ex delivery was delayed for some unknown reason. After a few days, I called Fed Ex, opened up a ticket, and they investigated - it was LOST. I caused the chat to contact BBW and explained everything to the man. He said he would replace my entire order and ship it out between 3-7 business days. I never got an email or a confirmation number DAYS later, so this time, I CALLED customer support. A man with a thick ** accent was on the other end and I could BARELY understand him.
I explained the problem MULTIPLE TOMES, yet he still was referring to the LOST order. He FINALLY “understood” after I asked to speak with his supervisor and said (just like the other man) that he’ll be replacing my entire order. STILL NO EMAIL CONFIRMING THIS. This company’s customer service IS A JOKE and I am absolutely LIVID that something THIS simple can’t be resolved because the people on the other end of the phone can’t speak English.

I found that when they had a sale, there wasn’t a great choice of the new products coming in… very hard to get customer service, in South Common in Edmonton! They do have beautiful 3 Wick candles, in amazing jars, which can be used after the candle has burnt away! The candle holders are pretty as well! I have a Couple of body sprays, & both smell delicious!! Pricing is very high, unless you hit a sale!! Soo it’s good to watch for sales for their different products!

On 6/30/2025 I bought approximately $85 worth of Wallflower plugins when they were on semi-annual sale. When I received them, two were broken and I could smell the perfume as soon as I opened the front door. The box had leaked deodorant in it and there was absolutely no protective bubble wrap around these glass bottles. So it happens, I tried to contact them. Nobody answers the toll-free numbers they list on their web page. I gave up after 33 minutes. They have this stupid AI agent to file missing or damaged items. It is anything but AI. It could not find my order number and kept telling me to copy it from the confirmation email I should have received when I placed the order. In fact, that is exactly what I was doing. So it did not go anywhere. I gave up. I will NEVER buy anything from them again.

I purchased 6 candles. Several broken glass everywhere and on 3 of them one wick was missing out of the three wick candles. This order was a waste of time and I know the candles being broken could have been the handling but missing wicks definitely Bath and Body Works' fault.

I made an online order from Bath and Body Works on June 20, 2025. The total was over $200, still it was all thrown willy nilly into a large box. Upon opening when I received it the body spray cans were dented, caps (including spray nozzles) were off, the plastic bottles and tubes were creased and dented, and there was product on a few things. It was a very unprofessional (at best) and absolutely careless packaging. I suggest you go to the store. (This was not caused by the company it was shipped through, as the box, on the outside was fine.)

Received my online purchased today Jul 2, 25. It was unsatisfactory. The soaps leaked and the wall flowers were not properly packed. There were no bubble wraps to protect items from breakage. This is not my 1st order but this is the worst I have received. I love the BBW products but shipping service sucks. I have to wash all products to removed the soap all over.

I receive an email to use a free birthday gift of $9.95 and when I tried to place an order it wouldn't let me use the free gift..I called customer service and spoke to 2 representatives both calls took over 52min and reps couldn't help then offered a $2 discount...wowww what a slap in the face...then in the beginning of speaking to the 1st Rep said my account was canceled without me knowing and then told my bday gift to redeem was for 30 days. WARNING: Avoid buying Bath and Body Works products online. As a longtime customer, I learned the hard way not to buy online. When I purchased items from a recent sale, the items were not delivered due to the package being damaged during the delivery process. I get that accidents happen, but BBW did nothing to reship the items to me. They wait until you call to complain that your order was not received. They were aware that my order had been damaged and not delivered but did not communicate this to me or reship the order. In order to request my order be reshipped. In order to do this, I had to wait on hold for an hour and then was told that many of my items were no longer available.
I ordered on-line during a presale in order to have access to items I knew would sell out. I ended up asking for a full refund. BBW needs to spend less money on marketing and more on customer service. I will no longer order online from BBW and will be looking at other candle and skin care options. There are many small businesses out there with good products. Time to make the switch!

Your website has become a nightmare lately! I have a brand new gift card and typed in all the numbers and PIN number and every single time I click on the annoying “Not a robot” box and click on the Submit button, it automatically unchecks the stupid not a robot box and will not accept it! I tried multiple times and same thing! Oh there’s no problem however, if I were to use my debit card but I am not going to use it because I have a gift card and it won’t go through! I tried calling customer service and I was on hold forever to the point I got sick of being on hold for a freaking half hour and hung up! So I thought I would try going online on my computer instead of my phone to try to place an order and your website won’t download! This is getting ridiculous!
I love Bath and Body Works and always have for so many years, but lately your service really stinks and I am about to start going elsewhere! I’m probably going to have to go into the store to use my gift card and that will be it. While there’s much to love about the products & the whole BBW environment, it’s not all great. I was stunned to find their product review process discouraging. Collecting statistical data should be optional & NOT required. I almost quit the review here. Once you get past the REQUIRED age stat there’s a set of OPTIONAL questions. I hit submit to skip & got a popup saying it is REQUIRED to answer at least one OPTIONAL question! Then I get to the next screen with one optional question, again skip & get the popup that I must answer at least one OPTIONAL question even though there’s only one. It is also worth mentioning that I pull up the cookies custom in one on all sites that have them & this one ALWAYS has the tracker on.

I went to the Arrowhead location in Glendale, Arizona (outside the mall). There were several staff unloading boxes to put items on the shelves. They didn't acknowledge my presence and continued chatting (and swore, which a customer just LOVES to hear). There was a younger associate who must have looked me in the eye five times while I was shopping and she was roaming the floor. Not ONCE did she ask me if I needed help. TERRIBLE customer service. They were also unprofessionally dressed.

Wall plug in scents are great, however the actual units are pathetic. Badly designed and imbalanced, they fall out of the socket and stop working halfway through the scent bottle.... I've thrown several away only half used ad they will not work beyond that and of course they have used REVERSE threading to prevent you using other plug in units... AWFUL... DO NOT BUY!!

In December of 2024, I purchased a few gifts for my wife and daughter as well as a gift card for a Secret Santa gift for a co-worker. The co-worker attempted to use the gift card 2 days ago, 12 June 2025. Gift cards no longer expire since...I think Congress passed a law that they longer have an expiration date. The store clerk attempted to use credit and asked for the Pin number. My co-worker handed her the gift card and the store clerk scratched the card the reveal the pin for the first time. There was no available balance. I called Customer Service. I waited on the line for several minutes. When the Bath and Bodyworks agent came back on the line, he advised me that it would take another 5 days to find out the mystery.
He then asked me, "what kind of cologne did I like?", to which I responded, "I don't recall." I was totally shocked at the question, but then thought that he was offering me a free gift for the extended 5 day wait. He then said, "no worries, I will put something in your inbox." I then got the sneaky feeling that he was selling me something instead of giving me a gift for the wait. So I asked and he laughed and said, "no. you can take a look at it and decide if you want it and if not, you can delete it." Wow!!! Instead of handling my issue of credit or some explanation of what happened to my gift card, he went right into upsell mode. Gosh. My wife said that he sounds like one of the possible scammers. What happened to Customer Care?

I order a lot from Bath and Body Works and a lot of the time, they are large orders. Today I received one of them and like always, it was packaged horrible! Everything was lying on its side, leaking with one piece of bubble wrap on the bottom and 3 total air pillows on top. 1 item was also missing, so I reached out to them online and was told I needed to take it up with the shipping company, as it was forwarded there! I informed the associate, George that it had literally just been delivered and he just kept repeating himself that I would need to take it up with them, as if they are the ones who packed my order! I disputed the charge and think I will take my business elsewhere. I really hope it was worth it, over 1 missing soap that I just disputed the charge on. Bath and Body, you really need to get better customer service online as well as in your packing department.

With all the glitches and reordering and calling customer support, I FINALLY got my online order done for Bath and Body Works (BBW). (1st) They DONT tell you (that I saw) they have a max purchase amount on their sale items (24) so I had to cut my order by 12 (no biggie, hard to decide, but I did it) THEN, Today I received my order of handsoaps. They say, A picture is worth a thousand words, hopefully this site will allow me to post it.
You would think major company like this conglomerate of BBW/Victoria's Secret would have a more "organized" way of shipping their product (they used to when you bought an abundance of their candles) not so much with their hand soaps. What a mess! Soap everywhere! Note to self, if you're buying a lot of liquid stuff from BBW, GO TO THEIR STORE! You could possibly shop without a limit on quantity and your containers won't spill.

Terrible online shipping and very disappointed in customer service. Products arrived damaged and they blame the freight carrier and would not assist at all. Soaps looked like kids played in the box thrown together and no packaging to protect it in the box. Then they want me to bring the soap back to them. With no other solution. I bought 25 soaps that I paid good money for and I should have been 100 % happy with the product.

I love most of the scents and products I have purchased from Bath & Body Works. That being said, I live far enough from a physical location that, with gas prices rising, I've resorted to ordering online. In the past year I have placed four orders and every single one arrives with broken/damaged and leaking soap. This is not due to the carrier, it most definitely is due to the lack of care made by Bath & Body Works when packing the items for shipping. I have ended up being directed to exchange them at the store and thus waste gas doing something I was specifically trying to avoid. I expected better from this company and now this will be my last order as I'm sure I'll be able to find something almost as good at a local retailer. Avoid ordering anything online unless you enjoy the hassle.

In the past I would have rated the Bath and Body hand soaps a 5. Recently, at the last sale, I bought 10. The second one I opened was thinned down. I returned it and was told the formula had been changed. I realize, all over the country, manufacturers are finding all kinds of ways to continue making a profit, as they should. I too, must watch my spending for the same reasons. When products are reduced in quality as well as the price going up, I draw the line. Therefore, as I open each of the 10 hand soaps I bought, I will return any that are not of the original quality because that is why I chose them in the first place. It's back to Winners or Walmart for me.

Be careful when purchasing and using gift cards at Bath & Body Works. I have had two horrible experiences when trying to use gift cards. One occasion the gift card I got from my birthday didn’t work. The company sent me an electronic gift certificate via email to make up for the gift card that didn’t work in the store. When I went to use that gift certificate, it didn’t work either. The store employee said they recently changed over their computer systems. Sounds like it’s an issue with their computer systems. On two separate occasions I ended up waiting 20 minutes while the store worker called the corporate office to get this matter resolved. I will not be buying any more Bath & Body Works gift cards in the future.

I wanted to cancel a $5 item I accidentally ordered to be shipped instead of picked up in store because it’s a $20 shipping. I contacted them within seconds of placing the order and they said they couldn’t cancel, nor add any more item to make it worth the shipping cost at least. They didn’t offer any refund or any coupon. They just said sorry and that they will bring it up to leadership. I didn’t get any follow-up email or anything. I’m really upset. Even when I said I was going to post our conversation online, they didn’t care. Obviously, they’re very arrogant and don’t care about their reputation and their consumers. They only care about themselves and taking people’s hard earned money.

This use to be a store I like to come to either with my wife or by myself. It's seems the company doesn't want men to shop here. Every time they get a body wash or hand soap men like, they discontinue it. Those has happened with 3 fragrances and the ones they keep seem to be the ones I see always on the shelf.. Even when they are about to discontinue a product and it's still in the store, they take it from you at the register and say they can't sell it to you.. 30 bars of soap and I can buy five bars.. hmmmm

I ordered hand soap and multiple wallflowers from Bath and Body online to be shipped. There was one layer of bubble wrap in the bottom of the box and the wallflowers, which are glass, were just tossed into the box. One of them leaked all over everything! I have been a loyal customer of BBWorks for about 20 yrs. I do online and in store purchases. The quality of the Wallflower plugs and diffusers have gone downhill. In the last year I had two of the projection plug ins that were too heavy and would fall forward away from the plug. I had 3 of the diffusers that when I unscrewed them from one holiday plug in and tried to screw into another one the wick flattens out will not screw in. I called them today. I spoke to Thomas who could not speak or understand English. I asked to speak with a manager and after holding 20 mins with no update from Thomas which I am sure is NOT HIS NAME he cut me off.
I called back, spoke to RJ, got cut off. Spoke to a Joyce. She left me on hold for a mgr, supervisor for 30 mins. No update. NONE OF THE AGENT SPOKE OR UNDERSTOOD English... WTHeck???? Finally got a super named JV who was also had an accent and was RUDE AS HECK. Back in the day Bath and Body would bend over backwards to make a customer feel valued and to make a bad situation right... NO MORE. He refused to do anything to replace the 3 diffusers and I did not even ask about replacement of the plug. He had no clue what customer service is and I hung up on him. My total time invested was an hour and fifteen minutes. I'm done with them.

I encountered a distressing situation at the establishment located in Sacramento, CA, within the Arden Fair Mall. Accompanied by my 10-year-old child, I entered the white barn section to purchase a candle and was initially met with a warm welcome from the sales associate. However, I soon observed that this same associate was closely monitoring our movements as we browsed the candles. This level of scrutiny is unprecedented in my experiences at other locations. Consequently, I am disinclined to return and spend my hard-earned money in an environment where I feel treated as if I were a criminal.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Bath & Body Works and I will never order from them again. My original order was lost in transit. Because the order had shipped in their system my credit card was charged for the full amount. I worked with a rep to have the order replaced only to have them remove two items due to out of stock. I understand out of stock situations happen but they did not credit me for the out of stock items.
When I again called their customer service group I was given the runaround and told they never charged me for the items because they could not ship them. I tried very hard to explain that I was charged for the original order which was lost in transit and went as far as to read the prices I was charged from my original order confirmation. Either the person I spoke with was unable or unable or unwilling to understand. Either way I was refused a credit for the items removed from my order. At this point it is not worth any more of my time to deal with a company who clearly does not care about their customers.

Why is it that the 3 wick candles now are smaller. This has been a big issue and they are getting by with it and still no change in price. There is no way anyone else had not noticed this. Doesn’t matter if the company thinks “you are not buying the amount of wax but the scent.” Really! As they don’t last long and some smell like burnt old wax. This is sad how they are getting by and don’t care about their customers. Best to go to TJMaxx and Marshalls and get the Sensational or DW candles as they are bigger, smell forever and last for less the price.

My most recent order for store pick-up contained one fragrance spray that the safety sleeve had been removed and an obvious amount had been used. What is more appalling and unsanitary is that three of the Body Butters I picked up had obviously finger scoops taken out! This order contained 32 items that I did not expect to be sample or used items! Be wary of ordering from this company and check everything before taking it home. They state that they accept gently used returned items, but they should not resell these items as new. This practice is unsafe and unsanitary!

I have ordered many times from them with no issues. This time I came home, placed my order on my fabric bench but when I went to open it the bottom of the box was soaked, as well as my fabric bench, which is now stained because of it. One of the soaps had leaked so I lost half of the soap. I called twice, only to be transferred to, I'm guessing, an invisible department because both times I sat on hold for over 30 mins before I hung up. They knew what had happened because I told the initial person and was given a ticket number. Their customer service is appalling!

I received my order today and it was missing an item - I order 5 items, only 4 were delivered. When I contacted Customer Care, I was told the missing item would be sent and expedited. The confirmation email I received, letting me know the missing product would be resent, provided the wrong item, again, not the item I ordered. I called again and was told it would be on the way, but they don’t do expedited orders. This is for a Christmas gift and it will not be here on time. Don’t order through bathandbodyworks.com. Take the time and go to your nearest store location. It will save you time and frustration in the long run.

Placed an online order for the 3 wick candles when they were having their big sale on them. Received the shipment a few days later than initially expected but not too bad. The PROBLEM was the fact that 14 candles were ordered and only 10 were received. The 4 missing candles were even shown on the list of items shipped. There is no number to call for help, you must simply wait for a rep to answer your text support question. After several texts back and forth, they stated that the missing items were high demand items and were just left off the order. They never initiated a refund for the shortage of items. It almost seems like they hoped it would be overlooked and SCAM people out of their money. Very poor company ethics.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration regarding an incident that occurred while placing an order over the phone with a customer service representative at Bath & Body Works. On December 10, 2024 I placed an order for an item on sale priced at $3.50. During the call, I explicitly authorized the representative to charge the amount to my card. I was assured this would be done. However, upon picking up my order the following day, I discovered that my $16.95 reward coupon had been used without my permission to complete the transaction.
This became evident when I attempted to use the reward coupon in-store to purchase another item for $16.95. To my surprise, I was informed that the coupon was no longer available because it had been applied to the $3.50 purchase the previous night. Upon returning home, I immediately contacted customer service to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, I was informed that nothing could be done to resolve the issue. Specifically: They would not charge the authorized amount of $3.50 to my credit card. They would not reinstated my $16.95 reward coupon, earned through prior purchases, that was wrongfully applied. This error was not mine, and yet I am now unfairly deprived of my earned reward and have received no satisfactory resolution.

I tried to order with a promo code on Candle Day- I ordered 30 candles that should have been $10 for 24 of them that I ordered and full price for the other six. The promo code did not get processed when I put the payment through so I immediately called customer service for help and was told I could not cancel my order (this was within 30 minutes of the order). I asked if at least they could change the payment with the promo code added on and they also said I could not do that. My option was I had to wait until all the candles are delivered and then return them myself to a local store. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told the supervisor was too busy on other calls to speak to me. I know they are able to cancel a credit card order and reprocess it for the correct amount w the promo but apparently they are too lazy to do this and I couldn’t speak with anyone in a higher position. Coming from a business owner myself this is so unacceptable.

Was told I'd get a replacement order free shipping (well, my promotion was free shipping, so associate said I'd get 2 day shipping. Nice. Then I get email saying replacement order coming Dec 11, this was Dec 4, well that's not 2 days! Called again, got ETHAN, I'll expedite shipping. Ok. THERE ARE ITEMS MISSING FROM ORIGINAL ORDER. How hard is it to copy & paste?!? I paid the full price, this is not my fault. Someone needs to look at my original order, then look at replacement order, see what I'm missing, and send it to me (expedited delivery free of charge), I've paid for the product already! And this will be the last time I purchase anything from BBW!

TERRIBLE... SYSTEM kept CRASHING. Below are pictures submitted showing the time waiting for the starting shopping time of 6 am EST. I am a very good & Rewards Member customer. Today 12/6/24 at 6:02 am a link was sent to me to start shopping. It took me 45 minutes and the system crashed 3 times as I was trying to place my order. When I saw the items that were previously $7.95 are now priced $16.95 I couldn't believe it. I have loved their products but I won't be cheated. They have lost my business!

Let me start off by saying BBW has some of the best smells that I have ever smelt, however with that being said the customer service and website is absolutely atrocious and could definitely use an overhaul. I spoke to someone who had a difficult time speaking English that I could understand, because I am hard of hearing. I asked several times to speak to someone else and was told I could hang up and call back if I wanted to speak to someone else. The call was recorded so maybe someone will listen to it, I doubt it but we can always hope.
I spend quite a lot of money and was trying to use a coupon from my daughter because my order was over $500 and it would not let me use it because it was not my coupon, WTH! Seriously. I now will be changing my holiday buying from BBW to something else and I will never shop there again. I spent over an hour trying to reach someone at the corporate office 614-415-7000 without any luck, just keep circling back to customer service.
I really do LOVE the scents that BBW carries but it is not worth all the hoops, drama, and wasting time trying to get something accomplished when dealing with customer service from this company. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone!!! It's just too much trouble dealing with issues, either you get someone who you can't understand or you get nothing. If I could do anything about it the first thing would be to make sure when signing someone up with personal information (that the company sells) I would inform the customer that if you do sign up you are not allowed to use someone else's coupons and your email, address and phone number will be sold to the highest bidder. If I could have given a negative number about the customer service with BBW it would be -5.

We were just in to Bath and Body Works at the Peabody MA store getting some air fresheners and Robin went out of her way to help us. She had to search in several areas but she found exactly what we needed. She was very kind to us and so was Jake. Friendly with us at the register. Her and Jake’s actions are especially appreciated on Christmas with all the commercialism that takes away from the real reason of Christmas of God’s love when he sent his Son Jesus to die for our and your sins on the cross! Bath and Body used to be a store I enjoyed shopping at, however since the beginning of 2024, this company has gone way downhill. For instance, I had an Awards Account but over the last 5 months, my Account hasn't added my purchases even though they are listed. I phoned and spoke to Kim and CSI and both weren't able to assist me. I told them about their defective Room Sprays and my not getting the right points - I didn't feel either Representative cared and was fine that I no longer wanted to be a customer.

I placed an order and realized I forgot the discount code. I followed the directions to cancel order (immediately after placing order) and it asked the question why you want to cancel. I answered it and the site just stopped. So I did it again. Stopped at the same place again. Did it a few more times and it finally said we can’t cancel your order I’ll get you an agent. Agent says, "Sorry you can’t cancel now. We will send it and you have to take it to a store but you won’t get a full refund." So I got screwed out of tax and shipping because I followed the directions on how to cancel order and because it didn’t work I got penalized. I will stop buying from this store.

Worse experience of my life. Online order shows delivered 11/26/2024 however I didn’t receive the pkg. I called Bath & Body Works and they stated that I needed to wait until Dec 5, before I get a refund. I have been shopping there for years and never experienced anything like it. I am so disappointed in how one of Bath & Body Works handled my situation today. I received an email from bath&body works saying that they are refunding my money. Why would they do? Well according to the 1st customer service rep Hannah my package was damaged. Now I asked her how would you ever know my package was delivered and then again I never received my package at this point. But I would love to know how is that this customer service rep even knew any of my items were damaged. So moving forward I would like to speak with a Manager 'cause at this point I’m so confused about my package that I never received.
This so called manager name David felt that what had happened was laughable to him and continue to be very disrespectful and concerned about all of this. He then goes on to say he just didn't care about my package or my refund. He went so far as to not send me my whole refund but to take the taxes off my refund and say that he wasn't giving me the taxes on my order now for the illegal and how dare ever say something like to a customer who always buying the products and I hope this reaches the right person. I also asked to speak with someone from corporate. He decided to hang up on me.
Now as for me something like this should never happen and David was just to comfortable doing which lets me he has done this before and I don’t APPRECIATE HOW I WAS HANDLED. I also asked him why can’t you just resend my order. He says when you pay for it again. I hope this reaches the right person and someone will reach out to me about this matter. My online order was cancelled for no reason after the $5.95 offer was over, and on reaching out to the customer service, I was told to make the same order again and it will be price-matched from the backend. After getting multiple confirmations, I placed the order for thrice the original price - only to get an email DAYS later that price-match promise will not be respected. I requested the order be cancelled and I was denied that is not an option as well. No respect for customer's money, time or trust.
Extremely unprofessional at all levels: canceling my order, promising adjustment and making me spend time and pay, revoking the promise after several days, not responding to email, redirecting to chat and not able to retain the case history in chat, redirecting me to call - and as the epitome of unprofessionalism, hanging up after mentioning that I will be put on hold.

I have been buying wallflower plug ins for years. Recently I have been having a problem with the warmers going bad. I tried to exchange them in the store but since I didn't have the receipt they wouldn't exchange them. They also said they are only designed to last 6 months. I have some very old ones that are still working. I guess their product isn't the quality it used to be. Guess I will have to find another product

I have always bought hand sanitizer from BBW. Just ordered more online today. When I pick it up and got home, was shocked when I opened the bag and saw how small the bottles were!!!! They used to be 3 ounces.. Now they are one ounce! I would never have bought them if I had gone to the store and saw how small they are now for $4 each!! This is massive shrinkflation. FAST way to go out of business is all I can say!! I know that was my last purchase.. Rethink your business when you make drastic changes like this one!

If I could rate this company 0 I would. Worst, thieving company ever!! I ordered 18 products at the beginning of October, for over $100. Of course, after two days they charged my credit card. However, I never received the order. They have the worst customer service!!!! I called several times, of course to no avail, I sent an email, finally they blocked me!!! What the hell??? Do you bombard people with your stupid ads just to be scammers??? Please be careful with this company, I will never buy anything there again.

On September 9th, I noticed that my account had been hacked. I was able to login with my email and password, but all the information on the account is from another person except for my payment information of course. I called the 18007565005, told them what my issue was and they gave me a ticket number. Then on 10/03 I call again and have to explain myself again and they supposedly try fixing the problem and give me another ticket number. Well now it 10/29, and my issued has still not been resolved. I'm not able to purchase anything, my reward points are gone and customer service is still not giving me a solution.

I ordered some items to be shipped to my house but when I got confirmation the order was changed to ship some and pick up the rest. I immediately tried to contact Bath & Body Works but the telephone number 800-756-5005 went into a loop and kept repeating the same information over and over again and there was no way to get to talk to someone about the order or to try and cancel it. I tried calling back again thinking it was a temporary glitch but the same thing happened again. Then I went to the Chat session and after some time with the BOT I got to Fred who was having technical problems so I again was waiting for those to be resolved so he could help me.
Then he told me that he couldn’t change the order once it was placed and so I told him that I had been trying to fix this for about 45 minutes now so please just cancel the entire order and then the chat got disconnected. I ended up calling the local store who, although very pleasant, could not help me, and only had the same number I called previously.
I found this whole experience very frustrating. Normally I go into the store but we were out of town and I wanted to take advantage of a sale so I ordered items and paid the shipping – only to have the order messed up. I totally understand mistakes can happen but the whole experience was a disaster and not worth the sale to go through all I had to do.

They are awful on shipping!!!! This is the second time they have mailed me like 12 wallflowers not even close to wrapped properly! Broke 1, 2, or 3. They replace broken ones. Whoopee! The rest stink so bad. Had to put them outside. All caps, labels and wrapper soaked. Stench is horrendous. Pulled all the labels and wrapper off and washed bottles 3 times. No use! They should replace whole order and add some bubble wrap instead throwing them all in a box to roll around and break! Only 1 star cause not give 0.

It might be just me but since Covid the fragrances are not up to BBW previous standards. The Wall Flowers burn faster and you can barely smell them, l have 4 in one area and l have to stand near them to smell it. Used to be one pump of the Air Freshener would almost take you out now I’m spraying 5-6 sprays and it doesn’t last. The candles are the worst!!! I would stand in line for them now they run a special often but l rather buy candles elsewhere because if they don’t have a chemical/turpentine smell they don’t smell at all!! Customer service is great (why l gave 2 stars) just wish the products matched.

Went into the store, was greeted and told items were buy one get one free. Purchased 6 items and at the register ask again to confirm and was told, "Yes, buy one get one free." It was not until transaction was complete and I looked at the receipt I found that I had been lied to instead of buy one get one free. It was buy each item and get a small percentage off. This was misleading.

I have 2 BBW gift cards and I’m not sure what the balance is on either of them. I tried the app and got the message “Oops something went wrong.” I tried the website and got the same. I called the number in the back of the card and chose option 2 to check balance. Put the card number in and got a message that I had to speak to a rep. The rep let me know that gift cards can only be check in the store. I certainly not wasting gas money to drive to store that I’m not shopping in if there is no money in the gift cards. How antiquated can BBW be? In this age of technology a customer can’t check a balance. They already have the money so I guess they just don’t care.

I have been purchasing approximately 15 wallflowers per month, all the same smell (magnolia teakwood) for 3yrs. Fragrance was noticeable in every room couple years ago. Shortly after, fragrance was not even noticeable unless you put your nose right up to the plug in. My husband and I thought the plug ins might need to be replaced with new ones. We did just that.... Still no smell. I have an open concept home..approximately 450 sq ft with 5 plug ins in outlets in this particular area let alone other parts of the house....nothing! When received, they are clear and later become a dark orange color? Are these being watered down is my question??
I have asked friends and family who come over if they smell anything and they ask "what am I suppose to smell?" I take one out of the wall and say "could you smell this coming inside the house?" Their answer unfortunately is no. WHAT is really going on with this product (MAGNOLIA TEAKWOOD) because at one time, couple years ago they smelled....product is declining rapidly and so is my patience. Reviews are horrible and BBW continues to put out poor quality product. My next review will be on BBB. Thinking I'm DONE.

Bath & Body Works will send the customer a reward however, when the customer goes into the store to use it that always says something is wrong with the reward. Once I went in and the lady told me that my reward was already used; no one had access to my reward but me and I had not used it. And it was still showing in my wallet but she said I couldn't use it. This past week I went back to the store to use my birthday reward. The cashier could see the reward however she said it was showing it had been used. Again I clearly had not used my reward. I have been going through this with Bath & Body Works for years. I'm a little frustrated because every time I go into the store I will spend $100 or more. The past week I left $100 worth of merchandise because they would not honor a $9.95 birthday reward.

I ordered an online. When order arrived I was missing 6 items. Was told I had to wait 2 days to report lost items. I said they were not lost, I received package they were missing. A replacement order was placed. Was delivered to a wrong house. I was sent a pic of a house door with package which is not my house. Was told they cannot reship a second time. I have waited weeks for items I never got and now I have to wait for a refund for items I never got. Was not their normal delivery service. Not sure I feel comfortable ordering online anymore.

I learned awhile ago that even though I love Bath & Body Works products, the people who run the company truly DO NOT CARE about you. This came to light when I tried to return one of their scented plug ins. The plug in no longer gave off scent, the light was flickering, and oil build up was causing an ugly looking brown stain all over it. Back in the day, they had a generous return policy and no questions asked. They simply took my defective product and told me I could choose a new one at the same price. Seemed fair, even if it didn't exactly solve the problem.
Fast forward a few years, and they've changed the return policy drastically. You practically have to give up your first born in order to get a credit or your money back. And they are extremely nasty about it. When I gave some pushback on a legit return I had, they brought out the "big guns" with a very stonefaced, mean woman who cut me off promptly. I felt like I was being accused of stealing or worse, when all I wanted was some customer service. The soap holders they have also rust terribly, another poorly made product that they won't acknowledge or fix.
My enthusiasm for BBW is going down fast. If they don't care about customers, then why should I care about buying things from them? Customer service on the phone is no better; you will immediately be switched to someone who doesn't speak English very well, and will tell you to go back to the store for assistance. Anyway, buyer beware. You can buy their very cute and pretty items, but realize THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU.

I am disappointed with Bath & Body Works. The product is of low quality, but the price has not decreased. I contacted the corporate office about the declining product quality, but they kept apologizing without offering a solution. I wanted a cashback because I did not want to buy anything from the store, however, they issued me a gift card anyway. They wanted me to follow the corporate policy, but what about the consumers' policy? What a rip off. I will report this abuse to the BBB, Consumer's Action, and all social media.

Products have gone way down in quality, while the prices have only gotten higher. Their staff is decent but horribly mistrained. I was told by a supervisor I had 5 days to pick up an order. I got a notification saying it was my last chance to pick up my order three days before I was told I had to pick it up. It was sent back.

This is a review of their customer service, not Store personnel or products. I called Customer Service 7 times in the last 2 weeks to fix my BBW’s App. I forgot my password and went through the steps and never received an email to reset my password. I tried everything they advised, delete the App for hours, check junk mail, wait days. Tried it all. NOTHING WORKED!
However, I received advertising text messages, advertising emails, but Not One to reset my password. Ask to speak to a supervisor… Unavailable or once when Alex answered and said he was a supervisor, he cut me off! Ask to speak to IT when Susan told me that was my issue and guess what…she said she gave me IT…No. She lied.. She gave me another customer set number. Totally UNACCEPTABLE! I have one reward available and almost a 2nd one, but can’t use because I can’t access my account! OH & I always say yes to the quick survey at the end of the call… Guess what…YEP, THEY DISCONNECTED ME! I tried to place a order online, I was having a problem with a Halloween item should have been 1/2 price showing up for $9.97 so I called the customer care line for assistance and they refused to help me with the Price adjustment, telling me that all soap refills are that price, ok but I have a screenshot and it's a Halloween item that is at 50 % off she didn't care. At the end of the call she had hung up on me, I decided to go back to my order to look it over, I had 17 items at over $74.00 needless to say, the representative took it upon herself to delete my whole order

I have been shopping at Bath and Body works since the 1990’s. I remember when the employees were in crisp white shirts, blue jeans and aprons. So friendly to help and always had a smile. Now the employees are nasty, don’t want to be bothered and really don’t care whether you buy, have a question or appear to need assistance getting an item. Quality has went way, way down. However prices continue to rise. They discontinue scents that are excellent sellers and yet keep ones that never sell. As a whole the CEO must not care that they are losing the original customers that have stood firm on shopping your products since day one of opening the stores. Shame on you. Corp greed strikes yet again.

I've always loved Bath & Body Works. There are so many scents to choose from. I've purchased lotions, body sprays galore, soaps, plug in oil scents, candles as well as hand sanitizers. My favorite is definitely the foaming hand soaps. That being said I love that they started selling a decorative holder that fit the various hand soaps. I was thrilled, even though they weren't on sale & were kinda costly I splurged. It looked amazing on my bathroom counters; that is until I noticed inside they were rusting..A LOT ..the rust even got on the soap bottle and then eventually preceded to get to my bathroom counter. I was very unhappy. I brought these back & said why would they make this out of a metal that could rust, because it's obviously being exposed to water constantly. Why not use stainless steel or plastic inside or something?? Maybe at least near the bottom?
This started out YEARS ago...so recently this May 2024 I decided to give them another try noticing these sparkly blingy silver design which matched my 1 bathroom perfectly. I asked the girl working at B&BW have they changed the design, etc. told her abt the rusting. She kindly replied, we're always working to improve our products; so I decided to try this again. Well sad to say, the same dilemma & I can't imagine that I'm alone.
Please can someone tell the higher ups about this...it's really unacceptable. Of course I tried to reach the corporate but no luck. They won't connect me, so they give me a store credit to go buy more of their products. I am still unsatisfied because ALL I want is a pretty soap dispenser not rusting all over the place. I will attach photos, and this is after I wiped/scrubbed away some rust. Thank you. I'm hoping for a proper response.

They have discontinued a LOT of fragrance that last, but I don't shop here no more due to there is really nothing to choose from to me. And the scents doesn't last like before. I've purchased some of the newer fragrance but ended up giving it all away. The smell was different when I got it home. Then what I gave away they didn't even care for it. And the prices have jumped. Have to go to Amazon or eBay to their retired scents. Then those be old smelling. I just wish they would bring back all those retired scents that last. I used to have my own store you could say in my room. Nothing but Bath & Body works. Working in a plant I got compliments every day on how I smelled.

They promote sales and then when you go to the store it is always unavailable. Went looking for product for weeks and was told that those are only for employees and could see them on the back counter but they wouldn’t sell it. Then called customer care. Was told it was because you can only order online, tried that route and online states have to visit store. Biggest scam and false advertisement, why offer a product then only give to employees so if you want something at this point you have to work at the store. FRAUD!!!!

I have UNSUBSCRIBED my email and my mailing address from BBW no fewer than 25 times in the past 2.5 years. They continue to harass me. It's clear their e-mails violate the CAN-SPAM ACT of 2003 and they DO NOT CARE. I have contacted customer service directly, but you know they are just paid to say "it's taken care of." Well, there wouldn't be anything to "take care of" if it had been removed 2.5 years ago WHEN I FIRST ASKED. DO NOT MAIL. DO NOT SPAM. DO NOT E-MAIL. What part of those are unclear? To BBW- it's all of them. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BBW unless you like being harassed via e-mail and postal mail (seriously, it's 2024- who sends or looks at postal ads!?)

Very disappointed with the customer service and Emma’s response. I received an e-gift card, NEVER USED IT, and she told me it was redeemed on 06/29. I never got a chance to use it and my mom lost out on $20. She couldn’t tell me where the purchase was located or which city. Such poor customer service and unfair! I have always loved the plug-ins from Bath and Body but two of them have dripped onto my wall and woodwork completely ruining the paint. The only way to correct the damage is to repaint. It is not worth the benefit of the smell to create work for me. Will be using Pura from this point forward. I checked that I had used the damaging plug-in correctly. Customer Service had no suggestion nor did they offer any replacement. That's fine though as I would not have used.

I received an email from you saying my package won’t arrive until today (Thursday) so I wasn’t expecting it until Thursday but yet you guys sent an email saying it was delivered yesterday (Wednesday) and UPS telling me it was delivered from (Tuesday). I ordered a body lotion advertised as buy 2 get one free. I only received 2 and not the bonus one. When I queried this I was told I should have ordered 3!!! This doesn't make sense if they advertise 2 and one free then the free item should come with the 2 ordered. I will avoid buying from them in the future.

Made an order from the app yesterday Morning and when I got my email conf of the order the pricing of 2 items was not what I expected. Customer service rep told me the only option was to cancel that order and she would reput the order in for me over the phone. So after 40min of being on the phone to get the second order correct she told me it would take 24hr then I would get a confirmation email on the cancelation for the first order. Today I still did not have a confirmation email so I called cust service again and was told the cancelation for the fist order never went through and the first order was already being filled so he couldn't cancel it. I have to wait for it to be delivered then find time to take it to the BBW store near me and turn it in so they can start processing a refund.
This is a great inconvenience due to my lifestyle which is why I order online to begin with. And an even greater inconvenience because now I'm waiting weeks before getting my 127$ refund from first order. I am out over 200$ this weekend that I was not wanting to spend. The customer service rep apologized and is sending me a 20$ gift card. In all honesty I feel like a 20$ card for this great inconvenience that I would not have known about if I had not called back on today, is far too little of compensation seeing as how you could get maybe one regular sized item from BBW for 20$. Very unpleasant experience after being so excited for the annual summer sale.

My one star is for the wallflower plug. I have purchased the plug on 4 separate occasions and none of them lasted more than 90 days. I contacted BBW customer care and they really did not care about the issue I have been having with plug ins. Terrible customer care. They could do nothing about their defective product.

Ok so I'm a regular customer at Bath & Body Works. I love their body products and candles but my problem is with the wallflowers. So a while ago I had the wallflower with night light and after some time it stopped working I returned it to the store and it was replaced with no problem. So now the replacement has stopped working and I was told they do not replace them anymore which is ridiculous. So in other words they don't stand by their product. Sad enough they stop working every few months which is a flaw in itself. I also use Glade and Air wick plug ins. I have had the same ones for years. Packed up and moved. Pulled them back out and they still work great. For the amount of money that B&BW charge their product should be more reliable or at the least replaced if it stops working. I'll be using my Glade and Airwick cause I refuse to buy another wallflower.

I went shopping on May 11 at the Selden location in the Independence plaza. I want to share by experience. I walked in and was appropriate by Gabby. She was attentive to all my needs. Gave suggestions. Very helpful. She was EXTREMELY pleasant. I just loved her energy. She even checked me out at the cash wrap. She asked what I ended up with. Don’t be fooled by their rewards program! The rewards are only good for 90 days and you’ll probably forget about them before you use them. When you call Customer Service, or lack of customer service, they say it was written on the receipt. Basically the ownership is on the customer and they is no grace. Well I guess I’m gonna have to return all of the items that I bought last weekend!

I’ve ordered from Bath & Body Works for as long as I can remember. I recently made my regular order to reload wall plug ins and soap. My default address is set to my address which I’ve used since 2019. They for some reason they sent my order to an address I haven’t lived at since Sept 2019. I called and the customer service representative wanted to talk in circles about it being my fault it was sent to the wrong address even though that old address doesn’t not show on my account from what I can see. I had to stop her and say regardless whose fault let’s move toward resolution. She said she would send a replacement to my current address. We confirmed the address and I was okay. I got an email saying it was delivered and I had received nothing. I called again and the new rep said the replacement package was sent to that same old address!!! He said he could not send another replacement and could offer a refund.
I advised that wasn’t good enough. He said he could give me 20% off my order. I advised I would like at least 50% off. He said he couldn’t do that. I asked for a supervisor and he said no one was available. I asked for a call center in America. He said they had one but couldn’t give me the number or transfer me to it. It all seemed so strange to me. I never received the discount email, I never received my package and I didn’t get a call from a supervisor. I’m definitely not ordering from them again and maybe this is just my sign to look for healthier products.

The new glass containers that the candles are in doesn’t hold the scent of the candle as well as the old jars with the screw on tops. When burning the candles you don’t really smell the candles' aroma just a scented wax smell. The press on lid sucks.

I have been ordering from Bath & Body Works for many years but lately my deliveries have been terrible. I just ordered room sanitizer sprays & 1 can was totally Empty & at least 6-8 more were only half filled & used. The plug ins are always thrown in & leaking all over the box. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The hype that is created by the deals is so misleading. The prices are too extreme to make any deal a real deal! The bombardment of emails that you receive is beyond ridiculous. The marketing strategy is diabolical and is such that anyone who really doesn't know pricing for these types of products is easily taken in. I don't mean to degrade anyone's intelligence, but the marketing strategy of Bath & Body Works plays on those who are not aware of what a sale price really is for these types of products. There is nothing in any of the products that puts them ahead of any other brand. In fact, the product quality is less in my opinion.
If you do not label a price in the store for any product, and there is always a sale, that is NOT A SALE price. Bath & Body Works always has a sale, so stop making everyone think you're doing them a favour by putting things on sale. Put the price on the items, keep the pricing "reasonable" and when you do have a sale, it's not to try to lure people in under "false pretenses".

I'm not able to breathe correctly. I'm using my machine more often. As far as my Asthma goes, I'm having to do my medications every day when I used to have to do a once a week now. Even after not using the products my asthma is at the worst time it has ever been.

I’ve been a long time customer of Bath and Body Works. Purchased many candles through the years. This year purchased about 15 candles. As I’m burning them, I’ve noticed they are only burning a third of the way down, this never happened before, always burned all the way. I took the two that I burned back to the store. The sales girl says to me, "That’s the way they are supposed to burn." I said to her, "That’s not true. I’ve purchased many candles and they always burn to the bottom. They are expensive candles, I don’t want to pay for a candle that only burns two thirds of the way," she would not take them back. Even the customer next to me said the same thing. Very bad experience and will not be buying any candles from them.

I was buying Wallflower refills and & new plug in. The ones I wanted were not available in the store. I wanted to take advantage on the one day special they had, plus I had a 20% of instore or online coupon that was good for entire purchase and could be combined. At check out it if I put in the code it would up the price on my items. I proceeded to order. I then followed up with Bath & Body their online service person. Her rude response, "There is nothing that could be done, since the order was place." Please let them know, I can do something after 6 years ordering from them. They lost a customer. The foam hand soaps bottles pumps aren’t working! I recently bought 5 of them. None of them working, when you press, no soaps came up, is frustrating! Expensive little soap bottles but cheaply made and not working properly. I don’t think I will waste my time and money again.

First I love shopping in store - always a good experience. BEWARE online. I ordered 42 candles jan 16, 2024. Jan 19th 1 box shipped with 14 candles. Order showed additional tracking for the remaining items and showed as awaiting carrier pick up. I received the 14 candles on Jan 27, 2024. B&BW site still showed awaiting pick up for the remaining items. Contacted B&BW Feb 2, 2024. Was told 4 candles out of stock and the remaining 24 would be scheduled for reship and refund the 4 out of stock. Feb 12, 2024 still no refund or shipment. Contacted B&BW. Was told no. Fed ex shows delivered and only recourse to get my money back was to file a FALSE POLICE REPORT and take to fed ex?? Note that the invoice from fed ex shows a weight of 25 pounds. I am certain 42 3 wick candles weights more than 26 lbs. proving it was only a partial shipment. Results = I am out hundreds of dollars.

Excellent products, but was not pleased with the College Plaza store staff in Selden, New York. When I entered, I wasn’t greeted by either of the two staff members who chose to stand there and continue their personal conversation. Was in the store for nearly 20 minutes mostly alone as there seemed to be no other customers there but no one ever offered me assistance. After I made my purchase, noticed they had actually called security on me who was standing by the door waiting for me to come out, and when I passed him he got back in his car and pulled off. Guess everyone was expecting me to steal something since I didn’t look like any of “them”. Pathetic.

I made an online order before Christmas and received 1 item from my entire order. I also received an email saying that the rest of my order was on the way. I never received my order. I called and spoke with someone in customer service. She told me everything I wanted to hear and even said she would resend my order. 48 hrs past and I didn't receive an email, so I called to check. The customer service person I spoke with said there was no recorded of me calling nor was there a recent order. My entire order is now sold out. I now don't trust making any online orders with Bath & Body. I would never make an online order with them again.

I made an online purchase during one of their sales. (Buy ? get ? Free). When I received my order, 2 items were missing. I checked my email and it stated that those two items were cancelled, as they were no longer in stock. However, my credit card was charged for the full amount. When I contacted customer service, they put in a refund for the one item, but not the other because it was a free item. I understand not getting a refund for the free item, however, according to my purchase, I’m still entitled to my free item. I was told they cannot send me anything in its place. So ultimately I didn’t receive the sale that was advertised, but they processed payment as if I did. This is the second time I’ve had issues with the online purchases from this company. I’m done!

The seals on the hand soaps are ridiculous! It's one big mess trying to remove the seals, and the perforations are a joke! Ya'll can do better than this! I have made numerous online orders from Bath and Body Works. I love the prices and the products. The only problem is when I order online I put in my phone number, email etc. They keep sending my order to old email. I have changed it and it's there. I also use new email for all my orders. I tell them to text. No text. I tell them the email when I make order. Again they send it to wrong email which is not even associated with this account. They're like a DOG with a bone. I purchased 16 items at Bath and Body Works and they were too heavy for me to carry since my spine surgery. I requested two separate bags intending to share the weight with someone else. The cashier told me each customer was only allowed one bag. I asked for a manager and she rudely said since I had been capable of bringing my purchases to the counter, I should be able to carry them in one bag. The manager said the store was running low on bags and would not give me more than one. I wondered if my purchase was less important than others who are given one bag for only one item when I had purchased 16?
My suggestion would be to send an employee to a nearby dollar store or office supply store (there is a Staples nearby) to purchase more bags instead of losing a formerly loyal customer like myself. Except for the rudeness of the cashier, I do not fault her or the manager, but the executives who make such ridiculous rules and do not consider convenience for the customer, especially one with a medical problem. Hereafter I will shop at other retailers for similar products at a lower price with much better policies.

Extremely horrible experience with ordering online during sale! Order was placed on Nov 18. Today is Dec 22nd. I didn’t receive anything! 2 customer support chats for 20 min each! 2 customer care calls 40 min and 15 min each. NOTHING! The people on the phone are clueless, nobody can’t tell you anything! But beggining of the problem is when you receiving the email confirmation that your order has been sent and after a week you checking the tracking number and it says that order actually never been even picked up! Because guess what - the items are out of stock! How can you “ship” something that is not on stock and send the shipping confirmation email! LIE!
Then in the phone we are doing adjustment to the order to make sure that all items are on stock, I’m receiving the email confirmation again and guess what - same story! What waste of time! What are unprofessional people, system and all company itself to put customers through this hell for the hand soap lol. What a joke this business is! Shame!

I ordered 10 candles for their online candle event. Shipping took much longer than expected and 6 of the 10 came very damaged. Exchanging was a hassle, as 5 of the 6 they didn’t have in the store. The packaging was terrible. When exchanging in the store, the lady told me this happens all the time with their online candles. This is not ok. Do better!!! Do yourself a favor and don’t buy candles online, unless you want them to be broken with glass everywhere in the box.

Throughout the year, I purchase at BBW for little gifts, sale items, and whatever else I may need/want, and like many people I wait patiently for the annual candle sale to make the big candle purchases. This year, I made a large candle purchase, expected extra processing and shipping time because this is a big event and waited patiently. I also placed a second smaller order 2-days later and expected it to also take a few extra days. My initial large order arrived a few days later than promised, but within the timeframe I expected. The second order however sat in processing for almost 2-weeks before it shipped, making it too late for me to use as the planned gifts. 2-weeks to process 6 candles and 2 lotions - seriously?!?
At a certain point I contacted customer service via chat to cancel the order. The order took so long to process that I ended up having to shop in the store. After a long and ridiculous conversation with the associate I was assured my refund had processed on 12.07.23 and I would receive the funds within 3-5 business days. I was also told I'd receive an email receipt within 24-hours. On 12.09.23 I contacted chat again because I had not received the email confirmation and was assured that the refund had processed on 12.07.23, and the email confirmation would arrive within 24-hours. 6-days later I had still received nothing; no email and no refund.
Again, I contacted chat this morning and it was like pulling teeth to get the woman to even answer yes or no that the refund had processed on 12.07.23, like it was some State secret. Further, she said the refund would arrive in my account within 24-hours meaning, the 3-5 business days for refunds is actually 7+ days. And to add insult to injury, they will not give supervisor names or contact information for complaints. They aren't allowed. Why? Do they somehow think this will deter consumers from complaining? In the end, I like BBW products so I will continue to shop there as needed however, I will NOT shop online (unless it is store pick up) ever again, and I will start looking for alternatives. The customer service issues are making the scents much less appealing.

I thought I was alone in the complaint that B&BW was packing their products poorly for online orders however it is a normal practice of yours. All three orders I received from them so far have been packed with intent of causing damage to the shipment. The candles I ordered were broken and customer service wanted to blame UPS for the damages until I sent them a picture of their poor packing of the order. I will never order from B&BW again. I am so disappointed in the way my online order of candles were shipped to my house. I ordered 11 candles and 7 of them were damaged. There was broken glass all in my box when I opened it. Some of the candles were not in an individual box which allowed them to get broke. The tops were not on most of the candles.
I also had candles in a box that were broken. There was not a receipt in my box at all. I called customer service just to be hung up on. When I called back, I was told that the candles that were damaged was not in stock anymore. These candles were Christmas gifts and they basically could care less. I was told that I could get my money back and that was fine but they should have at least tried to offer something else in place of my candles. I have always been pleased with my orders from this company in the past. After this experience, I can't promise that I would do online ordering again!!! I also would like to speak with someone over customer service but of course they don't have a number to reach out to whoever is over them.

I have never in my life experience such horrible customer service. I placed my order which was a Sale on lotions on 11/11/23 and received tracking info the following day and then it stopped. My package never moved from the starting place in New Jersey. I patiently waited until 11/29 to contact customer service for a replacement to be shipped. I had high hopes in receiving my package in time for Christmas since the replacement was approved, but once again no movement on my package.
I have been in contact with multiple associates regarding my concerns and every single associate had some different excuse as to where my package was. It got to where I was being rudely disconnected on purpose. I had to jump through hoops to receive a refund which I'm still waiting to clear. Now it's shy of 2 weeks before Christmas and I'm back at square one on shopping for gifts. This has been a very disappointing experience I have ever encountered through online shopping. I will never shop at Bath and Body Works again!

I had a free Body care coupon for up to $17.95 and went today when it happened to be $4.95 on ALL body care in store. The one I grabbed was on the $4.95 sale. The line was about 10 people long before I got to the cashier to tell me it wasn't applicable since it's normally $ 20 for the oatmeal body wash. Even though today it was only $4.95! The coupon could be used only towards items normally $17.95. How does that even make sense when everything was on sale? I would like a better explanation.

Trying to change an address two minutes after you place an order. They confirm they change the address and they didn’t. I also got charged the wrong prices. After ordering on sale prices them not having the product they charge me full price instead of just giving me something different. I love B&BW products. I love their sales. However, I am very dissatisfied with my most recent purchase experience which still is not complete. I wanted to take advantage of a great sale. I tried ordering and while ordering items were disappearing from my cart. Then while trying to check out, the system would freeze and not work. I gave up. Tried again a few days later. Got items in my cart, opted to use the PayPal in 4 payments and the order would not place. I was then charged 4 separate charges from paypal that I had to dispute. Finally the order went through but I find out that the pay in 4 payments is not being used. Their ordering system is a mess. I tried chatting and calling more than 10 times. You get someone who speaks terrible English and no one knows how to help. And if chat can't help they cut you off. I'm super upset. Still don't know if my order will ever come in. They run sales but doesn't seem like they really want to honor them.

After chatting with customer service, they were going to "reship" my order, however they were sold out of nearly all the items I ordered. I got a refund and swore of ordering from them again due to the experience. However, I like their products and decided to order more. 11/18 I placed and order. 2 weeks later, still "no status available ". I was told to check back in 4 days. So all my items will be sold out again? A separate order I placed for candles one day ago is being shipped. We'll see. I think I'm done with this company. This was the absolute worst shopping experience I’ve ever had online. I’m a rewards member and it refused to accept the CANDLEDAY code. The USELESS bot didn’t help at all. IT just repeated the exact same thing over and over having nothing to do with my question. Then I called the phone number and asked why it didn’t work. He said “no idea.” Real helpful-not. Several days ago, I ordered a gift for my friend to be sent to her home. My credit card was charged for the gift. To my shock, my credit card company also posted a charge for another items which I did not order. When I returned to Bath and Body Works website, it states that I was charged 0. for the item, but my credit card was charged 45.75. When I called the company, they refused to assist me, saying that I should call my card company. Someone in their company charged me for the item. To add insult to injury, the gift for my friend was shipped to her without the gift card that was supposed to be included, so she didn't know who sent it. Also, when I was in their local store and asked a sales rep to help me, she said a few words and walked away!!! If I could give a zero star review, I would have. This is a terrible company!

I went online today to make a purchase, and their site was having issues and freezing. As I went to the checkout page it updated my order to full price. I call customer service phone number, waited on hold for 40 min, was told that they cannot honor past promotions even if it was their fault. I went onto Facebook and noticed many other people were having similar problems. I voiced my concern as well and sent a message via Facebook messenger. It was a regular complaint saying that I’m having problems with online too. No response from any customer service and they blocked me. I wonder how many other people blocked to voice their opinion. I went onto Twitter and noticed the same thing people were saying. They need to let us have communication with a company that we are buying products from, they need to fix the problems with the website and honor the promotions, glitches and issues from the website should be taken care of and they should help customers. Finally got to speak voice to voice with someone yesterday to fix it ..2 month later. 1:30 min later we had to make my order together so she could put my discount.. When I order anything online they always mess it up and never give you a receipt. So I asked for the receipt and the non English speaking person who was extremely rude (was store manager) said that I had to look up everything on my phone and they were not going to give me a receipt which they didn’t even give me. She kept saying that I was rude for asking for a receipt and not being able to access my account (which is a lie because when I have a coupon for free items they always tell me at the register because they stopped mailing me coupons) so I know that they have access to my rewards so why lie to me??
You know what Bath and Body? I usually spend 100-300$ every other month but after today I will never shop at Bath and Body Works again. Yankee Candles has my money now. We have at least a dozen wallflowers in our house. Ordered some refills online even after all of the actual wallflowers fail most of the time but I think I just am an idiot and kept ordering. Got the latest order. They clearly sent us something that was returned. It was upside down in the packaging and when I opened it is filled all over my hands and now I am broken out on my hands. It's clearly not meant to be on human skin. If you get something returned discard it. Do not package it back up and have it leaking everywhere. And why don't you fix your wallflowers so they don't leak and stop working after 3 months. We are going to an actual company that does real scent for households. This whole oil thing is disgusting. It's ruining people's carpets. I've read the reviews and it's ruining flooring.

This will be the last time I purchase anything from Bath & Body Works. For one, why is store pick-up no longer available?? They’d rather charge me $6.99 for shipping. I ordered 2 items, it has been 5 business days since I ordered and it still has not been shipped. They have a 30 min window of when you can cancel your order. I bought items on promotion but forgot to put in the promo code. I called immediately and that is where the nightmare started. First I got a representative who sounded very confused and at first refused to give me the discount and then later said she would but didn’t know how to calculate it and submitted the wrong amount. I could barely understand her because the line was so muffled.
The second person was very cordial and said she couldn’t do it till the previous rep’s submission went through. The third rep days after, argued that I had received a discount which was not shown on my receipt but was showing on her end. I asked her to email the receipt but never received it. I have never felt so cheated!! This was for a large order. None of the notes they put under my order was accurate. Each rep gave me a completely different amount from what was charged to my account. Extreme inconsistency. I felt like I was being scammed!!! And I had no choice but to accept it. Simply put, I felt violated and cheated! This is a shame to Bath & Body Works!!

I bought the product in April for my birthday. It's about half gone and it stopped spraying. They wouldn't replace it. They said I could buy another one. Yeah right! Never shopping there again. I will tell everyone I know about my experience.

Dee, Juju, and Kristen were all very welcoming when I arrived in the store. Kristen was especially helpful. She used her product knowledge to help me find exactly what I need. Kristen was approachable and was eager to assist!
