In the first month of adopting my pup, she had some shots done as well as had 2 (very curable) illnesses pop up. Lemonade insurance was AMAZING in processing the claims in a timely manner and explaining exactly what they needed to speed things along. The agents are also very kind and actually care about the pets of the insurance holders - such a change! :) 10/10 recommend.

I’ve not had this pet insurance very long and hate to say I’ve had two claims already! Our dog is very much a beloved member of our family and we have shared many adventures and memories over the past ten years together. Our claim was submitted on May 6, promptly reviewed and approved on May 9, for nearly 80% of our total surgical bill, which was over $3000. Our reviewer's final email was detailed and informative, explaining the reason one item was not covered, along with providing other information. In terms of process improvement, I think it would have been better for me if our reviewer had explained things along the way, instead of waiting until her last email. But all-in-all, very satisfied with outcome.

In a series of unfortunate events, I had two cats get very sick in a couple months. Though we are still in the middle of one cat/s battle with a horrible fungus, Lemonade has been supportive the whole way. Five specialists, countless diagnostics and treatments, and finally something is working. We could not have done this without Lemonade. The other cat made a poor choice of snacks and ended up in ER surgery over Easter. Thankfully recovered and all is well.

I can't say enough good things about Lemonade and their staff. I was given a dog in October from a family that already had 3. In February our sweet Millie/ Pomeranian, was diagnosed with chiari formation. MRI and surgery were needed. Lemonade did their due diligence and were so kind and fair in the end. Millie received her MRI and had her surgery and is living her best life now. We Love Lemonade.

I recently acquired pet insurance from Lemonade and was able to take my cat Void to the vet and get him checked out and few shots and Lemonade reimbursed me over have that amount. 13/10 would recommend. Getting the reimbursement was a painless, easy process.

It was really easy to submit the claim and they immediately paid the preventative treatment amounts they promised. The claims related to her illness are taking a bit longer, but the claims officer was very active in assessing any additional information required and letting us know. It is also really easy to send information, both in the app and by email.

I thought that the employees that I spoke to were excellent and were able to help me solve my issue. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the process to claim a dental cleaning can be difficult. I had to get on the phone with the Vet's office and Lemonade multiple times in order to get a breakdown of the cleaning in order to proceed. In the end, Lemonade had to speak to the vet's office directly and the issue was resolved within.

I have signed up two dogs for insurance with Lemonade. I thankfully haven't needed to use insurance for anything major, but the covered preventative claims are easy to submit and clear to understand. I never had an issue with requesting a claim, and the turnaround was always within the hour.

Within days of adopting my one year old purebread boxer, I opened a policy with Lemonade. Well after the waiting period for illnesses, I took her to the vet for a general wellness visit with the added concern of constant paw licking. Upon leaving the vet with an allergy diagnosis and expensive allergy shot (**--which has been extremely effective), I submitted my claim to Lemonade. It was denied because they deemed this a pre-existing condition. Why? Because her vet records from her previous owner indicated that months prior, she had an ear infection. Nowhere, mind you, in her 10 pages of vet records was she diagnosed with allergies. The word is not even mentioned. Based on this FACT, I appealed the claim. Again, it was denied, stating that the prior ear issue was indicative of allergies, thus making her allergy issue a pre-existing condition. I have requested to cancel my policy effective immediately.

My first pet goldie a toy poodle had a tumor on the brain stem. The vet wasn't able to remove it so I had her have radiation therapy at Texas A&M and it was very costly. I appreciate that the process to claim is streamlined and easy through the app. I'm glad I don't have to wait long to be able to submit a claim, and that there is actually someone that checks and validates my claim after the fact. I do think it can be a bit confusing when trying to add a claim for something that happened, as it's not too clear if I should be submitting multiple claims for follow up treatments. Instead of a date, I feel like it should be a clearer name, like "urine issue" or maybe keep the date but have a label indicating the issue as well.

Super fast and easy claim process. I itemized and entered the services I was charged for at My Vet for My puppy’s 1st wellness exam along w boosters and vaccinations. Then I uploaded a picture of My Vet bill. The claim was approved within seconds of submitting and the 90% reimbursement was direct deposited into My bank account the very next morning. $175 Vet bill, $155 reimbursement within 24 hours of making My claim. When I purchased My policy I added the Wellness Exam coverage so that regular Vet's office visits would be covered as well as emergency care. I would highly recommend Lemonade!!!

This is my first time using Lemonade Pet Insurance. I picked Lemonade insurance over the other insurances because it offered reimbursement on immunizations, well visits, fecal testing, and more. I am impressed on how easy it is to fill out on the Lemonade app for reimbursement. I was able to get reimbursed for 80% of what was spent for my dog’s immunizations and well visit.

With my old coverage I was sick and tired of paying for coverage that was never used or getting reimbursed because we actually took care of our pets. It’s nice to see that we get reimbursed for preventative care on top of the major medical coverage should we need it. I had my payment literally that day we submitted the paperwork.

I filed my first claim for our puppy. I wondered how it would work and if the claim would go through. Once I filed the required documents, I was very surprised to see that my claim was approved in less than 1 second and the reimbursement was deposited into my account the next day. I was very impressed because I did not expect this.

I purchased pet insurance with Lemonade and when my dog sustained an injury, they told me to pay for the procedure ($5200.00) then after the procedure I was to fill out claim form and they would reimburse me. When that happened they denied the claim because of a clause in the policy that said it was a “Bilateral condition”. Because my dog had previously hurt the other leg a year and a half earlier this was not covered. So I paid all of my premiums so they could find a way not to pay.

Initially I was a bit skeptical. I thought the premium payments were spendy. However, as I did my due diligence in research I discovered very few pet insurance companies that cover preventative care. Lemonade does cover prevention as well as spaying and accidents. I took the risk and it has paid off! The response time in filing and paying claims is unbelievably amazing! All thumbs up. This little beauty is healthy and happy.

I purchased Lemonade insurance last year for my 2 cats Abby and Lucy. It is less expensive than the insurance I previously had and they cover expenses for routine checkup + vaccinations. Easy to file a claim, quick for approval and money deposited into my account. Not pleased the monthly Simparica Trio treatment for heartworms, fleas, ticks, etc is not covered. It's a preventative to maintain healthy animals and should be covered. Otherwise happy with my coverage.

I appreciate the help with every step of the claims submission process from the online assistant. I’m able to do everything on my iPhone. It couldn’t be easier. I was skeptical about the whole dog insurance thing but in a short time spans, this company has changed my outlook on it all. I’ve only made 2 claims and the first one there was some sort of discrepancy with the time frame of my first one but after going back and forth they approve it which shows dedication to their customers. Then as they promised I made another claim, not even expecting anything back and I got 90% of my money back just as they said they would do. You can’t go wrong with Lemonade the drink :). So you definitely can’t wrong with Lemonade the company!

When I adopted my dog March 2020, I didn't fully understand the health issues that can come with a pup. After he sniffed up a handful of fire ants and I rushed him to the emergency vet, I quickly learned my lesson and tried to find the best insurance for him that would cover all of the accidents he would come across but also not breaking the bank - that's where I found Lemonade. All of my claims and updates to my plan have been easily handled with great communication from Lemonade reps. I hands down recommend it to friends and am looking to move over my renters insurance and eventually car insurance once it opens up for my state. The app is easy to navigate, plans are laid out in a way that's easy to understand, and prices are almost always cheaper than other places. For a Zillennial, it's easier for me to work through chat and email than calling someone up or going in person so it definitely works in my favor.

Pet insurance seemed like a pretty useless thing to me when I first heard of it, but then my furbaby started getting sicker and the vet bills, higher. I found Lemonade, and the process of signing up was super easy. Almost too easy - I accidentally made him two policies in my panic. When sweet Rocky passed away, I was a mess for a while. He left us too soon to use the coverage, and I ended up letting my policies lapse.

Ok, so we have a French Bulldog who is prone to like...EVERYTHING. Lol. Lemonade has been OUTSTANDING to work with. Everyone has been nice, service has been awesome and FAST and it's SUPER EASY to file claims on the app. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I adopted a French bulldog puppy in July of 2020. He was diagnosed with Giardia a precondition I disclosed upon signing up for pet insurance. The puppy battled giardia for months - during this time he also developed pneumonia. During the vet visits the doctor discussed possible problems with my dog breed. Brachycephalic flat nosed breed can potentially have Brachycephalic syndrome - of course! Long story short the dog became very ill and had a series of surgeries. Lemonade declined every claim as a pre existing condition. How can a puppy have known pre existing conditions? Despite the vet supporting my claims. Lemonade took my premium payments for a year and denied every claim. Don't waste your money. Their position was that everything was a pre existing condition.

The claims department seems to have communication issues and they don't seem to care about their customers. I've had Lemonade since 04/21, and my cat got sick so I took her to vet and got her looked at. When I sent them the invoice and explained what happened. They wanted more information. Then, two weeks after, I started to worry since my claims has not been processed. I reached out to ask if they need anything else. The individual who handled my claim stated that she would reach out to the vet to speak to them for more clarification and another week went by. I called my vet to ask if they have reached out, they didn't. I reach out again, which she told me to send her all the information on my cat past history that she said she was going to look into.

I recently joined Lemonade Insurance due to the rave published reviews and ratings. Although I don’t know anybody personally that has this insurance, I took a leap of faith that the advertising is accurate and not a mere scam. Unfortunately my pup; teddy got sick with a multitude of issues. Lemonade somehow found a way to deny the initial claim stating “all” the symptoms were experienced before my pup's waiting period. This was despite detailed documentation from an emergency room stating otherwise. The second claim was ignored completely despite detailed medical records and diagnostic data sent to them several times. My inquiries and concerns left unanswered with complete and utter unapologetic apathy towards my suffering furry family member, my best friend. Everything I read about Lemonade Insurance company was the exact opposite of what I experienced.

Poor customer service, agent was dismissive, rude and would not answer direct questions. Also, they expect you to jump through hoops to file a simple claim requiring you to upload a video of yourself explaining the claim and submit doctor's notes, etc. Ridiculous! Canceled today prior to first 30 days and they refused to give me a refund of my $43.00 even though I didn’t use their service.

Lemonade's "pre existing conditions" include items that are not considered to be conditions... FYI. My 3 month old puppy had some dermatitis (inflammation of the skin) on his very first doctor's visit, which was soon after we adopted him and got the policy. We were asked to keep an eye on it. Now they're saying they won't cover ANY dermatitis, which is the most generic issue that could have been written, at any point in his life. They also won't cover ANYTHING that causes the dermatitis.... which could range from anything including sun allergies to eczema to shampoo to another dog's saliva, etc. Any time he has inflammation of the skin, we can't be expected to be covered.

I am very happy with Lemonade pet insurance. They usually have fast responses within 24-36 hours and the funds get to my bank within 4-5 days. They are also very caring, when my puppy is sick they always respond with “hope she is feeling better.” The only negative-which is why I gave them 4 stars is that I didn’t realize my accident illness coverage does not cover the vet exam fee. This is my first pet so I didn’t understand how vet fees/insurance works. Overall I am very happy with Lemonade and have recommended them to my friends as well.

When I got Ludo at 8 weeks 1 day in December I had already reached out to Lemonade for insurance. They were very timely and thorough with their responses. They sent me info on exactly what kind of physical they needed. All went very smoothly and I was happy. We are retired and long time dog owners. I know it only takes one accident or sickness to cost thousands. Wanting the best for our pup I knew insurance was the most responsible option. We had a one year old pound puppy that came with one month’s insurance- we kept that but I decided to put Ludo on Lemonade. I liked what I read, and it’s true!

As a brand new dog owner with a dog that has predisposed stomach problems and dietary sensitivities I knew Teddy (my cockapoo) was going to be a handful. When I was told Teddy will always have a sensitive stomach I knew I needed to get the best coverage for Teddy and have him be seen by the best doctors, ALWAYS. He's been going to his vet and hasn't had any problems, except for the first time he got colitis. I was hit with a $600+ bill! He was given an x-ray, medication, and needed rounds of IV because he was dehydrated. I contacted Lemonade and got reimbursed within DAYS. I kid you not. I submitted the paperwork through the app, was emailed by a kind representative and within days got my reimbursement.

Only have used it a couple times with a new Lab puppy and have no complaints. Communication is great when needed, otherwise it’s a algorithm driven app-based service. Takes a little getting used to and you really need to have your vet invoices clear with explanations.

My kitten suddenly was ill and had to be taken to ER. His visit was quite expensive. I filed my claim on a Saturday morning and was immediately informed that my claim was under investigation. I’ve never had pet insurance before so tried Lemonade and I am so happy I did. My puppy had his well visit, and first shots covered at 80%. Since he’s a puppy I like knowing if he needs to go see his doctor he’s covered. The process to submit receipts is super intuitive too. No brainer for me to have this coverage for my sweet boy.

No one wants to think of something bad happening to their furbaby, but when it does you want to have Lemonade. I was thrilled with how easy it was to file a claim and how quickly I received compensation. I could focus on taking care of my dog not on paying the bill.

Everything else is good but it takes too long to clear the claim. The first 2 times was ok, the claim got cleared very fast. But the third time, it’s been weeks and my claim is still under review. I don’t understand why is it taking so long when I’m paying the premium right in time every month.

Lemonade Pet Insurance is 100% worth it! My dog got sick and our vet bill was over $1,000.00. My husband and I don’t make a ton of money, so that’s a lot of money to shell out for us. But after a $250 deductible and the 10% we were responsible for, we still got over $700 back from the claim. That’s a hell of a lot better than paying $1000.00 out of pocket. But what made me more impressed, was that the claim process was so easy. The claim specialist was very kind, relatable, knowledgeable and super responsive to my questions (thank you Suzie!). Lemonade pet insurance really helped me avoid major financial problems once my cat got unexpectedly sick. Emergency fees and surgery costs were high and I found out that my cat should get the procedure immediately. They barely covered anything and getting them to cover her bills when she almost died of pneumonia was impossible. I thought all treatments and preventive treatments were covered. However, there are more restrictions than I thought. For this reason not covered and for that reason, it is not covered. I don't know if lemonade can help my dog ​​when he's really sick. It's just like a talisman that prays that our dog won't get sick.

Our questions receive similar response: quick, thorough, and personal. And it just feels like the team actually really cares about making the process easy for us and, more importantly, about our dog's health. I'm so glad that Lemonade expanded into pet insurance (y'all cover our home, too, but fortunately we haven't submitted a claim on that yet), and am truly satisfied with the investment I make in paying for Harper's insurance each month. I filed two claims when my cat Thelma had emergency stomach issues. One claim was approved immediately, and while the other took some more time, Rebecca was helpful and communicative throughout the process.

I was actually very impressed with the claim filing process on the app. I am not very tech savvy but I was able to take pics and send what was needed with ease. I made a mistake and missed a few line items on my first claim so some things were denied because that date of service was already paid, so I will know better for next time. I love the replies from the claims agents. I was highly (and pleasantly) surprised how easy it was to submit a claim. As long as you have a printed copy of your actual bill (NOT JUST THE RECEIPT) the process was incredibly fast and the directions were VERY clear when submitting. No app hang ups or errors, and now I’m telling everyone I know who owns a pet to get this insurance because it’s actually WORTH the very little time and effort it takes to file your claim and be reimbursed.

After the recent physical exam, I opened the Lemonade app and submitted a claim, including providing the invoice. That was it! The check showed up in my bank account very soon. I will definitely keep this plan for my cat. I wish the human health insurance can be at least half as good and convenient in the not distant future!

Love Lemonade pet insurance. It’s extremely simple and easy. Quick claim process. quick reimbursement. The reps I have interacted with are super nice. Love that there’s optional annual wellness coverage for the exam and vaccines etc. Really helped with the price of having a new puppy and getting all those boosters. The coverage for illness/sickness is great. I like that you can customize it to an extent. And the price you can’t beat! Thank you Lemonade for being there for Stormie :)

I just enrolled my dog in the pet insurance with Lemonade. My first claim was super easy. I called customer support to help me get started and the person who helped me was super helpful and very professional. He assisted me from the beginning to the end. I appreciated that, as it was my first time using the claims app. I am so happy that I dropped my last pet insurance and got pet insurance with Lemonade.

I took my cat to the vet for some x-rays. When I got home I took a photo of my bill. I uploaded it to the app. Whatever info was missing, Lemonade called my vet themselves. I did not have to go out of my way to get further info to them. In a couple of weeks the money was reimbursed straight into my account. I got a couple of update emails during the process. It was an easy process!

It was super easy to sign up with them, and when my dog unexpectedly got sick they made filing a claim easy. Checking on my claim status was also easy and I had a response the same day. Payment was quick and made directly to my bank account. Any time I've needed to email them they have always responded quickly.

Lemonade has been a great help with relieving some of the anxiety when needing to take my dog to the vet. I get to be concerned with her well-being and not the cost. Not everything is covered and that is understandable but I have had more covered than not. Highly recommend over other competitors in the space.

We realized if we have health insurance for our kids why not our dog? We couldn't afford more than 60.00 a month and we found the Lemonade was great in pricing so we signed our Ace up for it. Literally right after he came down with a bug and had to go to the vet and Lemonade was very quick to reimburse us for some of the bill that we were able to claim. It was super easy to file a claim as well. Our Ace is very clumsy and curious so I feel like having this insurance gives us a little more freedom and comfort.

After I got my puppy I decided to check in to insurance, I had never gotten dog insurance before, but with all of the expenses I decided to give it a go. I am so happy I did, Lemonade covers 80% of Harley's vaccinations (up to four a year) and claims are so simple to file. I just use the app, it only takes a few minutes and then the money is sent back to me usually the next day! Customer service is always so nice as well!

I had multiple emergency visits with my cat when she got sick. Lemonade was great. Claims were easy, all done online through their app, and probably took about 5 mins in total. The claims were approved in 3 or 4 days max, and money was in my account quickly. Someone called to follow up when there questions. A great mix of online and person to person, and trouble free.

I have been mostly pleased with my experience with Lemonade Pet insurance. I don't care for the fact that my pet's only medical need isn't covered because it is considered "pre-existing" and would only change companies if my dog's allergy and other preventive medications were covered at least somewhat. But as of right now you continue to have my business.

We just brought our puppy home last Thursday so she went to the vet on Friday. I decided to enter our first claim when we got home. In less than 10 minutes it was approved and 90% of the cost of her wellness exam was wired back to our account. I love the ease of filing a claim and we are looking forward to many more years as Lemonade customers.

I have policies for both homeowners insurance and pet insurance through Lemonade. I'm grateful to say I've never had to file a claim for my house, but I will say that the rep I worked with was excellent and helped me to determine exactly what I needed and made sure I wasn't paying for anything I didn't need. I've filed a couple of claims on my pet insurance and the claim process couldn't be more simple or more clear. The Lemonade app walks you through each step of the claims process to make sure that they have all the information/documentation they need. I usually have a response within 24-48 hours, and money is wired directly to my account. Zero complaints here.

Since we have had Lemonade for our new puppy dog insurance, they have been wonderful to work with. They have answered all questions, been extremely prompt with paying our claims, always follow through with emails and/or phone calls. Am new to being a pet owner. The new addition to our family is a Goldendoodle puppy. Went with Lemonade insurance - the easy use of their website and liked the coverage plans. Filing a claim was just as easy and reimbursement promptly followed. So my first dealings with them was nothing less than perfect.

I have had lemonade for 3-4 months and I used it for the first time last week. Totally worth it! Not o my was is easy to navigate. I was refunded the next day after I filed my claim! The vet clinic I work at is having all of the employees take pet insurance out on one of their animals so we can experience first hand and know what to recommend to our clients and I 100% recommend Lemonade!

Great system, super responsive and you can take to them on the phone, text or email with very fast and friendly responsiveness. We use them for renter’s insurance and pet insurance and when our pup was sick they were great. We cannot wait to get them for car insurance when they release the product and we are SO glad not to deal with the layers and slow response times of typical insurance companies. Would highly recommend to everyone
