When we brought home our Great Dane puppy last year, we started him on another name brand food but it didn't agree with him. That's when I found Diamond Natural large breed puppy Lamb and Rice. He Thrived on it. He's had slow, steady growth (important for Giant breeds) and his coat is incredibly shiny. After he turned 1, we gradually switched him over to Diamond Pro 89. He eats less, has regular formed stool and looks amazing. Next month we are bringing home a Great Danish Sheepdog puppy. I'll be providing her breeder with Diamond Natural large breed puppy Lamb and Rice when she's ready to start solid food.

The breeder of our Aussie suggested Diamond puppy food, which we kept her on. We moved her to the Adult dog food at about 8 months. The ration is grain free. She is highly energetic and she is in great condition. Her haircoat is beautiful. She doesn’t overeat on the Diamond dog food, which is a big plus. We plan on staying with Diamond Dog food and recommend it highly.

I started using Diamond feed when I lived in Texas, and was involved with rescues. I moved back up north 24 years ago. I started using different varieties in 1992. It did such a great job putting on weight and giving the coats a thickness and shine, I fed it to my own dogs, and I've continued feeding Diamond food. I use the puppy food in the purple bag, mostly, because all my female adults and puppies love it, but I also feed beef and rice naturals and my older dogs thrive on it..Thanks, Diamond for making such great food for all ages and sizes.

I also breed dogs and I'd really like that Diamond would offer 7-pound bags that I could send home with the families. They don't do it in our formula that we use. Also, it would be nice if the samples that they give to the breeder, they would include those in every formula, not just the All Life Stages because it's not formulated for every breed. Nonetheless, I'll continue to use Diamond unless I have an issue.

I like the size of it and the dogs don’t overeat with the food. It's filling and it gives them enough to keep them satisfied. The dogs have more energy, shinier coats and healthy nails. I'm constantly trimming their fingernails. I don't have any trouble and the dogs get good stools. The bags tend to tear a little easily though. I've gotten a few bags of dog food and I go to get them out and the bags tear. But other than that, I don't have any problem with the look and the size they offer because I buy the biggest bags. As a breeder, part of my program is that when I send the puppy home, I give a sample away of puppy food along with information about what I feed and encourage the new owners to continue using that. Diamond Pet Foods told me they would send something. Then, they told me they had sent something but it never came. I called back and they said they didn't send anything because they didn’t have anything to give me. I went on another brand because I need something. I’m not going to feed my puppies one thing and then have to put it in my own bags and make my own literature. Customer service is as important as the product itself. If you have a great product and your service is garbage, your product becomes garbage.

So we switched to the Diamond Natural and she's doing great on it now. It keeps them healthy and it's good for them. I like it.

I buy all my Diamond food from Tractor Supply and I asked them about getting with Diamond for samples for me, and they said that they don't have a way to do that, so I just send the puppies home with Ziploc bags of the Diamond food because I don't know how to get the samples other than reaching back out to Diamond and having them send them. But by the time I remembered, it was too late.

My reproductive vet had recommended a high protein kibble and I went with Diamond. I had one litter of puppies last year, and so I had my adult female on it for a month, and then I had my litter of puppies on it for a short period of time. I liked that it was super small tiny kibble. It was easy to make it into a mush for puppies when they were three weeks old. It was just that they had major reactions. It was a little too much on their tummies. Then my female had diarrhea and some foul smelling gas. Once the puppies were done nursing, I switched them over to someone else. But otherwise, they seem to enjoy it and such. I like the quality of the dog food. I'm going to try it again with the next litter because that's the protein level that's recommended to her and see if she has the same issue. I would recommend it, but I'm not going to push it on some.

We've been using Diamond Pet Foods for probably 30 years and as the different foods have evolved, we ended up going with the Diamond Naturals. It's reasonable, has good ingredients and not too many recalls, which a lot of them has. We use the chicken and rice, which is the All Life Stages. We're a breeder and when we started it, that worked well for us. We could feed the dogs from when they were puppies. But we mixed in the lamb and rice as well as the beef and rice to give our dogs variety so they were not on the same thing all the time.

We like Diamond. We’ve never had an issue with the quality of the food. We get the little sample packs and the brochures from Diamond but a number of times, I got the puppy samples but not the brochures because they were out. I'd like to see them both. It helps push along Diamond’s product if the people that we send home with the puppy samples have the brochures to look through too.

Diamond Pet Foods was what was available at the small dog food place in town and the puppies ate it. Then, I kept using it and have used it for my dogs because they've become adults. I called and asked the folks if they had little sample packs and they gave me a bunch so I could send them out with the puppies that I adopted out, which was helpful. So, they had food to go with them. Diamond is inexpensive, as far as a well-made dog food goes. I used to feed my dog Taste of the Wild but now that I have two enormous dogs, I can't afford that anymore. So, affordability for quality is what's keeping me going with it.

Then, once they turn adult age, we switch over to the red bag, the beef, because I don't like feeding chicken, but I know that's the only brand they have in the puppy food. So, we get off chicken as soon as we can. Then, for the mastiffs, I do the large breed puppy. Once I get them off the puppy food, I give them the red bag as well. With other dog food, it was like they were never full. They would always eat it and we would go through so much dog food. With Diamond, two bags last me two weeks and that is a lot. That saves so much and it fills them up. They're very active and their coat is very thick and shiny too. I love Diamond. I also love the samples they send me. They're so professional-looking.

I first heard about Diamond at Barnes Border Collies over in Braxton, Mississippi. They had been using it for 30 years and they recommended it. I tried it. For the price, it was quality food. I've been using Diamond and I get good results. Sometimes, some of my dogs don't wanna keep good weight on the Hi-Energy so I have to switch back and forth between the Premium Adult and the Hi-Energy. This keeps things equalized out.

I get good and healthy litters with Diamond. In January, we had four litters in one month. I just had a litter born Wednesday night. I start all of them with Diamond Puppy. I noticed a lot of breeders are on Pro Plan. They’re just not getting bigger litters. I would see a lot of small litters coming off of that, fours and fives. We're consistently eight and 10 litters. I've got 14 dogs now.

We breed Border Collies and I tell everybody to use Diamond. A good bit of my dogs transport out to the northeast and out west and I can’t send them something because they won’t let me put anything on the airlines if the dog was still on the crate. But the ones that were picked up here, I send them home with something. I tell the new owners to use Diamond Puppy for one year. If they wanna use something else, I would recommend blending over slowly. But at least not for the first couple of months. That way, if it upsets the puppies' stomach, that’s our indication for other things.

There was a whole giant feed on Facebook about how awesome Diamond was for our breed so we switched over to Diamond Naturals and we've been using it and recommending it ever since. Our dog now has solid bowel movements, which is amazing. He has allergies and he has a sensitive tummy. The chicken and rice formula works really well for him. He also has a shiny and soft coat. There's no wiry or frizzy hair.

We signed up for Diamond's breeder program so they send us the small bags to hand out. We send them with all of our puppies and we tell all the new puppy families that they should use that formula. I only wish that there was an easier way to contact Diamond when I have a litter. That would be nice. I always submit the Contact Us form and it's not the best way. Beyond that, we're completely satisfied with the product itself.

I raise miniature pinschers. With Diamond Naturals and the dogs' stools are not too dry nor are they too wet. They are good solid stool. Also, the min pins have litters periodically off and on through the year. On average, I have about 20 litters on min pins a year. All my babies go out and I've been getting the little sample bags from Diamond customer service. I do a puppy travel bag for all my puppies and there are the two little baggies there of the Diamond Naturals Small Breed Puppy. I put the flyer in there too. I recommend it as far as people keeping the puppies on it. I also recommend Diamond Naturals after the puppies go off the puppy food. I try to get my families to keep using the Diamond and I want them to use the Naturals line instead of the Plain line. The majority of my customers that stayed in contact with me have kept their dogs on the Diamond Naturals.

We use The Diamond natural and it contributed a lot to our dog's health. No yeasty ears, no yeasty feet and maintains weight at an even rate. They never get really skinny and they never get really fat. I always recommend my people who buy my dogs never change them. I can tell right away when they change their food because they're calling me, "What's wrong with my dog? He must have fleas. He's scratching a lot." I say, "Did you change the food?" "Yes." I say, "Put him back." However, I can't find the puppy biscuits anywhere since December. I also don't get a sample of the little biscuits for my people. As a breeder, it's very important that they continue with the same product because the cookies don't have all the other things that people need, like the corn and those fillers that they put in.

I like that the fat content in a lot of their foods is high and the protein content is medium. I used to be an animal nutritionist at North 40 Outfitters and I've tried other foods. But my puppies look better on Diamond than they do on a lot of food. Sometimes, I look at that, there's corn and wheat in it and stuff like that for just the regular Diamond puppy food. Their coats are shiny, they're gaining weight, and they do well on it. Their diarrhea isn't extreme. I give a sample out to everybody that takes a puppy. We were having some major ear problems with Purina Pro Plan. A couple of our females developed hot spots which are attributed to too high a protein. Diamond Pet Foods seems to agree with my dogs better. I've been using it over 15 years. I've used the various different formulas. I breed whoodles. They're a cross between a poodle and a soft-coated Wheaten terrier. I feed Diamond Puppy to the puppies. And at this point, I feed the lamb and rice adult version to my soft-coated Wheaten. I've kind of moved back and forth between the different varieties of their adult version of the different natural variety.

I've honestly not found one that my poodles do really well on. I've tried the chicken and rice, I've tried the beef and rice, and I've tried the lamb and rice. None of them seem to have enough fat for their coat. So, I recently just moved these three poodles off of Diamond. If there's a variety that offers a better solution for them, I would certainly switch them back. But I love it for the puppies. They do great on it. Then if they have problems with the chicken or the wheat in the puppy variety, then I tell my buyers to switch them to the Large Breed Lamb & Rice Natural. I love Diamond. I just wish their products were a little different. I wish they did a puppy lamb version other than the large breed, because that's not enough fat or protein for my puppies.

We weren't happy with the product that we were using and there had been some recalls. So we switched to the Diamond Line and we weren't thrilled with it. It's not a bad food but the quality is not there. We tried Diamond Naturals lamb and rice and we were astonished with the results that we got. It's actually in our contract that our new families feed Diamond Naturals lamb and rice. All our dogs are on full feed. With the Diamond Naturals lamb and rice, they eat half of what they do in the Diamond line. We buy Diamond by the pallet and it has cut our food consumption down by 40% when we switched to Naturals.

We have two different vets and they always comment on our dogs' skin coat, their muscular development, and bone development. Our dogs are OFA certified. So we do patellas, ophthalmologists, the gauntlet and all of them are very pleased with the results on all our dogs. Breeding has a major part in that, but food also has a very high part that we believe. So that's why we push Diamond pretty hard for our customers. We know the results. We know the recalls for Diamond is extremely low. It's kind of an old school mom and pop family company. We support everything about it. But I wish Diamond supported us a little bit more.

Diamond Pet Foods doesn't sell direct, but I tried to buy through a broker out of the cities. He set me up with them and they wouldn't deliver it to me because I didn't have a storefront, which was absurd. We have a forklift. We could unload the semi. That didn't sit very well with me because we were using more dog food Diamond products than our local co-op did. So just because they have a storefront, they'll deliver to them broken pallets even though we buy full pallets. So as far as breeders go, we're their bread and butter. We promote and use their products.

Diamond does provide the breeder with samples of puppy food. They send them every time I request it. At first, they made me jump through all kinds of hoops and I filled out the paperwork. But then I'd go to request it again and they'd want me to fill it out again. We were putting 150 to 175 pups on the ground a year and that would be 150 to 175 guaranteed customers that Diamond would have because it was in our contract. But the last several times, they haven't done that. Compared to the other companies, Diamond is a little dot but they are growing exponentially. Their name is getting out there and a lot of that is due to the breeders supporting them. Other than that, I'm very happy with their product. Also, their customer support is pretty good. Everybody has always been polite and kind. The rep was phenomenal. But the biggest thing is we can use a little more support from the company.

The only thing I've ever seen is a big can and that's another gripe. It's hard to find especially the chicken or the lamb. And when we do find it, we buy everything they have and we wipe them out. So, their canned food must not be very popular compared to other companies. We only use it as a puppy mash when we're weaning, then we switch over to the Diamond Naturals puppy small kibble. But if they did small cans or even a full can to send to the breeders for their litters, it would be awesome. I look at it as support from Diamond and a thank you for being a responsible breeder and supporting their product. That carries a lot of weight with the breeders.

We got 30 pups on the ground. It takes a long time to get the sample packs out to us. Sometimes, we'll do a special breeding and that's out within a week. So I don't know what the delay is. But it's not a big deal. We have big bags of Diamond puppy and we just put them in Ziploc bags when we don't have the samples. But it looks a lot more professional for both of us if we have samples. So if they can incorporate it at canned or a bag, that would be a huge step catching up or even coming close to the other pet food brand.

I have been a fan of Diamond Pet Foods for probably over 20 years now. I've fed every dog I've ever owned Diamond dog food. I've started generally with their puppy brand. Right now, I'm raising Goldendoodles. I have three Goldendoodles. They also eat the salmon and sweet potato mix, and they absolutely love it. I get good results off of skincare and coat care. I can't say enough about it. I usually order that stuff, either from my local feed store here, Chewy.com. We usually order $300 worth of it at a time because these guys love it so much.

My first litter of Goldendoodles I had back in August, each one of the parents got some take-home food to go with it. I've created kind of like a Facebook page for all of my bloodline where I can kinda keep in contact with everybody, and everybody has. They've continued on the sweet potato product. So, I'm pretty happy with that. Quality compared to cost is right there with some of the best up there in the market. Diamond’s the leader in the group. But price-wise, it matches the competitor.

They like it because they’re smaller bites and Dachshunds are just smaller and it’s easier for them to eat. It’s a healthy food, it’s high-quality, and it’s also affordable. They are healthy puppies and they have nice, shiny, beautiful coats. Sometimes vets have tried to get me to use other things and they just won’t eat it.

I breed now and while all my females are breeding, I keep them on puppy food for the extra protein and calcium. I also work with Diamond and they send me sample packs to go home with my customers. When I have a litter of puppies, I just contact them and let them know, and they will ask how many I need. Then they usually send that plus a few extras. I send each puppy home with its own small individual bag so they have at least a week’s worth of food in case customers didn’t go buy food like they were supposed to before they'd get their puppy. I tell them not to switch it for at least a week because the stress on the puppy's body from the moving attacks their immune system. Then if they wanna change, I tell them just to mix it in portions until they've switched. But then I always recommend using Diamond.

I love Diamond Pet Foods. I've been feeding it now for about seven years and I have never had any problems with recalls. I have breeding females and when they're lactating, I feed them the Puppy because it's a higher protein. When they're not and they're just in between their cycles, I feed them the Hi-Energy, and it doesn't upset their stomach. I can just swap them back and forth. I used to give my stud dogs Sportmix. Thank God I took them off of that because there was a terrible recall on it. I thought I'd go a little bit cheaper with them. But then once I got them over onto the Diamond, I noticed their hair coat changed almost immediately.

I call in to Diamond's when my females have had a litter, and they send me a box of samples. I usually send one or two of the sample bags home with the buyers and I send the Diamond pamphlet as well. I also give them the website where they can see the recalls on the dog food and see that Diamond does not have recalls on it. I always encourage my people to continue to feed Diamond because dogs are toy-sized so they don't eat very much. The direction on is three quarters to one cup a day for full-grown and so a 40-pound bag lasts them quite a bit.

The breeding mothers eat that all the time that they're pregnant and when they're nursing. The mothers eat that exclusively. Then, we also transition the puppies onto it. It's the higher protein and fat content that we appreciate because a mother that is making babies or is feeding babies needs the extra nutrients. We have really good results. We've noticed better health among our puppies and fewer puppy deaths since we've been using the Diamond. We appreciate the help that Diamond's given us with the sample bags that they give us to send on the way with the little puppies when we send them home. You normally hear that they have skin allergies. But since I changed to Diamond, I haven't seen the skin allergies often. It helps them with the skin, especially with a rug. With the Diamond, it's more solid. My experience has been great. I saw a change in my dog. I would recommend it for others to give it a try.

We're very pleased with Diamond. Our dogs do better on them and they seem to have better coats. I just started changing over to the fish and the lamb. I was just feeding the regular, like the Puppy and the Adult Active. It has more in it than just your regular dog food. I have Airedale terriers and Welsh terriers. We made a move and I wanted my Airedales not to be stressed out so we did not have any litters this year. My daughter-in-law took the Welsh. We have two females and those have had a litter each. I have one female breedable and I have another one that will be able to breed next year.

We've sent a lot of puppies to Alaska, Mexico, California and Florida. We've got them all over. We also have a little goodie bag with all the important information in it and the puppy toys. I usually get samples from Diamond as well as pamphlets, and I also send the same things to new puppy owners. I'm older so I don't like change and Diamond is what we start the puppies on after their mama, with a little bit of warm water. I wish Diamond would make a soft food because we also try to do a little bit of wet to get the puppies get used to it. I sometimes use a Pedigree Puppy, a canned food, for that. But we don't continue it. So, a wet food from Diamond would be nice.

My daughter-in-law has six Welsh terriers and she had started using the Naturals. She said the dogs liked it better and told me that I might wanna try it. So, I did that. I started out mixing mine with the regular Diamond. I did the one for the active dogs. Then, they have several variants such as the Maintenance and Hi-Energy. We lived back in the ranch, which is 1,000 acres and the Airedales were kinda just running. They're family pets. Then when we moved here, we had a big yard for them, so they're in a yard now. They're the active, hunting type and so, they get acclimated here. Their health is excellent and great all the time. So, we have no problems. My sister-in-law had a litter of puppies, just a little far North. She called me and wanted to know about Diamond Pet Foods. I told her that she would have very good results with it and dogs like it, and will turn their nose up at it. She had a very good experience with it also.

We had previously been feeding Nutro MAX Natural Choice and Diamond was much better price and easier to buy. We were from a small rural area at that time and getting to PetSmart would take over an hour drive and Diamond was sold locally. The ingredients were very comparable to what we were feeding with a lower price. We have bloodhounds and we have litter about every other year. Typically, we fill a Ziploc bag with the Diamond Puppy when we send home the puppies because that's what we feed our puppies also. But I finally got into Diamond's program where they send me labelled sample bags so it's not a little Ziploc bag of food. We use the Large Breed Puppy for the puppies, and then Lamb and Rice for our adults.

It would be nice if they have coupons for new dog owners. I highly recommend the food to my new bloodhound owners. I send the food with them that they are on. But it would be nice if there were some sort of incentive for the new dog owner to continue to purchase Diamond for their dog because I know how great the product is.

I saw Diamond Pet Foods in the store and picked them up one day and started using it and I really like it. I have a few small dogs, Chihuahuas and I just love it for them. I like the size of the morsel of the food and it’s great for their digestive system. When they have puppies, that’s what I start the puppies to eat too. One time, I was able to get some of those small bags from them. But I wasn't able to get the small sample bags anymore. Now, I really loved it when I can get the little bags to send with the puppies when they go home. But if I don't have those, I'll put the food in a Ziploc bag and the new owners know what food it is to feed them.

I have Belgian Malinois and I've used Diamond on and off for seven years. I usually use the puppy formula whenever it started out and as they get older, I move to the extreme athlete. I feel that on the Diamond pet food, my dogs stay leaner, with less bloat. Their hair and skin seem to be less dry. I have less shedding with it. The only thing I wish is that the bags were constructed a little bit better. The bag was paper when I was buying it and I preferred the plastic bags. And they may be plastic now, but the store seems to bust a lot more bags during shipping and moving. A lot of times when you go to Tractor Supply or Rural King, the bags are busted and I have to buy Victor versus the Diamond. I try to buy a few bags at a time to leave at my house and if I buy the Diamond and it's got a hole in it, then it's spilling out and the dogs and the kids are trying to get in it.

We like Diamond's price point as well as the ingredients and the sourcing since the recalls. I left for a little while once all the recalls were going on, and then came back. We've been using it on and off for about 15 years. I'm a breeder, so I currently feed three different flavors. One is the Beef and Rice, and I'm currently looking for a replacement for that. Then I feed the Naturals Lamb and Rice, and then another is the Ancient Grains with Roasted Lamb. I breed Poodles and Whoodles.

They have the Diamond puppy food, which I absolutely love. I just actually tried it. I was using the Naturals puppy food, which was kind of a hit or miss with my litters. This last litter, I used just the straight Diamond puppy food. It was wonderful. However, one of the mixes, the Whoodle, that I breed has a chicken sensitivity or they're known to have a chicken sensitivity. So, I really wish that Diamond had the same type of just the straight Diamond puppy food without the chicken. That was one of the things that I’ve discussed with one of the reps that I had spoken with when I ordered samples last time.

Everything is so chicken. It's so hard to find their foods that don't have chicken in them. Diamond is one of the biggest suppliers of foods that do not have chicken. There are a lot of dogs out there who have chicken allergies. I used to work for a vet clinic, and it’s huge. To be able to raise puppies on to a food that is lamb-based is great. However, I'm not having really good results with that Large Breed Lamb and Rice. So I moved off of it. I don't recommend that one to my peers anymore. But a lot of them had to move their dogs off of the Diamond Puppy because of this intolerance.

I started my lab, Riley, on TOTW, Salmon over five years ago. My friend who has an Australian Shepherd, Rascal, started watching my dog whenever I traveled. She thought it would be easier at feeding time to give both dogs the same food. She already had her dog on TOTW Salmon. She convinced me it was a better food, grain free, etc. I would feed my dog in the morning, 1/2 cup mixed with a tablespoon of Nature's Domain Turkey and Pea, grain free can food. Evening I would replace the can food with Chicken meat. Riley had no problems eating the food. Recently she stopped eating, and two seizures one day, and the next she could not get stand up on her own. Took her to the vet and had to put her down due to Brain Tumor. Riley would have been 14 yrs old this Oct.

My friend's Australian Shepherd, was put down two days ago, same reason, brain tumor. Her dog experienced numerous seizures for 3 weeks and place on numerous medications. Finally Rascal too could not stand up on his own, and his condition worsened. Rascal was 8 yrs old. This is way too much of a coincidence. I'm writing to warn others who feed their dog TOTW. Even though my lab was an old dog, her quality of life was great. I only wish I had started her on real food versus this food. Seriously need to research what dog foods you feed your dog. Grain free doesn't always mean it's the best.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Brain tumors are more common in dogs, than in people. A CT scan is required to make the diagnosis. Did Riley receive one, or did the veterinarian think that was a logical diagnosis, since labs are genetically predisposed to developing histiocytic sarcoma, a type of brain tumor?
As far as your friend’s Aussie, Rascal, did he get a CT scan to confirm the diagnosis?

Fortunately we have not had reports of dogs developing brain cancer as a result of eating TOTW. With our shipping 45,000 bags of Taste of the Wild a week, if there was an issue I’m sure we would be receiving calls/emails from thousands of pet parents

We really love Diamond Pet Foods. We breed mini Goldendoodles, F1B. Our dogs are a mix between a purebred golden retriever and a purebred poodle. Then we take that Goldendoodles, which is what we own and breed them back to a full-blooded purebred miniature poodle, which produces the F1B Goldendoodle puppy. Diamond Pet is what we feed everybody, either the puppy brand or the adult brand. Every time we sell a litter of puppies, I give out one of their brochures on feeding. I don't make it mandatory, but I highly recommend that they continue on what we had been feeding.

We give the clients a notebook that has several categories in it. One is nutrition which we put the brochure or pamphlet, and we made a copy of the feeding chart because the feeding chart’s not on the sample bag. So we made a copy of what the purple bag looks like that we buy, and the 40-pound puppy bag, so they know what it looks like when they go to get it. Then we have the tab on registration, where they can register their dog. We have a tab on tips. Then, we have a tab for vaccinations for when we’ve taken them to the vet and show that they’ve had their shots and deworming from a certified veterinarian. We send that home with them.

I’ve been really happy with Diamond. We've been using it for many years. We got married in ‘70. We're a farm family and that was one of the things that interest me about the Diamond, that they started their business about the same time we got married. So we've been using it for a long time. It is a pretty easy process getting samples from Diamond. The first time, I just sent a note to customer service saying, “Hey, would y'all do this?” Then the next time, they told me just to go to my local store. But when I went to my local store, they weren't familiar with it and didn't know anything about it. They didn't know how to do it. I said, “That’s okay.” So, the next time I need it, I’ll just send another note to customer service saying, “I did try to go to the store, but they weren’t familiar with getting samples and never heard of that." Even though I told them to call customer service, I can handle it myself easier than going through them.

I would love to be able to have an account set up with Diamond. We’re a farm, so we have accounts set up at a lot of feed stores, the feed mill, the hardware store and the other supply store for when we have to buy parts for the tractors and trucks. I would love to be able to buy Diamond direct, rather than having to go through Tractor Supply, but I don’t know if that’s possible. But if that’s not possible, I understand.

When we were using our old dog food or if we were out of it, we just got generic dog food and we could just tell our dogs were lazier and didn't seem to wanna get up and play. But once we went to Diamond, their energy came back and they were more playful. They're a lot healthier on the Diamond with better ingredients.

We use Diamond puppy food for the mini Goldendoodles puppies. We also feed it to our pregnant moms. Then we also get the regular adult for our other dogs that aren’t the Goldendoodles. For those considering switching to Diamond, they should write down the dog food they're on now and what their dogs are going through. Then once they do Diamond, they should write those down as well and compare the differences of how well their dogs have changed and the behavior.

We've been using the regular Diamond Maintenance just on our yard dogs off and on for five or six years. And then, when I started with my Aussies, they were a little finicky than my Lab and Goldens were before. So, I started with the Naturals and I love it. They do so well, even my puppies.

I go to the lamb and rice formula with my adults and I start the puppies off with the All Stages chicken and rice. I mix it with Purina Pro Plan Puppy. I mix the two because some of my buyers prefer one, some prefer the other. But I actually get sample packets from Diamond for my puppies' go-home kit, which I send. Diamond Naturals All Stages chicken and rice formula. I love it. I feel like my dogs with Naturals have better coats. Also, the ones that stay inside are not as gassy. I'm very happy with Diamond and we will continue to use it with our breeding program. We're starting with Golden Retrievers so that's going to build up. It’s the only food that they’ll stay on consistently and not go off the food. And their coats look good. We ended up just sticking with that. Now when I breed, that’s what I put my puppies on and we love it. My long coat shepherd's coat looks so much better on Diamond than it has with any of the other food. We really like the lamb one. It seems to keep her in good shape. She’s very active so she burns a lot of calories. The lamb one seems to keep her coat really nice and keeps weight on her nicely.

We usually have litters about twice a year. I’ve done the breeder program and Diamond has been great about sending me two little sample bags to send with each of my puppies. When I send my puppies home, I definitely try to tell everybody to stick with Diamond. But the pink bag of the large breed puppies, none of my puppies like the big disc good. They like the small little pellets. Even when I soften up the big disc ones when the puppies first starting to eat, it’s just too big for little puppy mouths.

My older one was on the Maintenance. He keeps his weight good. I also use the Puppy Formula. The only concern I have is the paper bags for the Hi-Energy and the puppy food and they do tear easily.

I have about four or five litter a year, depending on the weather. I usually message the team at Diamond, give them my ID number, and let them know how many puppies I have. Then within a couple of days, I have the samples. I do puppy packs and stuff, so I’ll send them home. Whenever I see the puppies online, Diamond Pet Food is usually what they keep them on. I like the Diamond Naturals, that’s what I was doing at. I started all my puppies with that, which I still recommend them being on the puppy food, the Diamond Natural Puppy for all the puppies. Diamond own Taste of the Wild as well. And then, they came up with the Taste of the Wild Prey. So, I switched from Diamond Naturals to Prey. If you get any picky eater, you give them Diamond Naturals and I guarantee they'll eat it. After my puppies were born, I had a professional photographer take pictures with the Diamond Natural dog food bags there with them. It was really cute. A guy just came on Saturday and picked up some cat food and he said, “All my cats won’t eat anything.” They're indoor cats. I said, “Try the Diamond Naturals Indoor cat food.” And he said, “They won’t eat it.” I said, “Yes, they will.” So, he took it. I haven’t heard from him yet. But I’ll guarantee, they absolutely love it.

I have Labradors and German Shepherds. I did large breeds. So, I do all the Diamond Naturals Large Breed. I don't breed anymore. I work with rescues now. I did the two litters because I only bred my female every two years, and I only do two litters. A lot of people don’t. They breed them every single heat and the poor things can’t regenerate, and there were just so many rescues out there. So, I thought, “There is no sense me breeding anymore.” I didn't wanna get into buying new dogs to breed. So, I found the shepherd mix. And so, I’ve been doing them now since 2013, I’ve been working with rescues.

People come to me and they go, “Wow, do you oil down your dogs? Their coats are so shiny.” I said, “It’s Diamond Naturals.” It makes their coat extremely shiny. In fact, I have quite a few articles on my website about Diamond Naturals. I have a paper that I give to every single one of my clients that come that I have printed out on, “Why Diamond Naturals.” Number one is the ingredients from USA and made in USA. They go, “Well, the other ones are made in USA.” They go, “Oh, but we should get Blue Buffalo.” I said, “Yeah, I looked at that too because their marketing is really good. However, yes, they are made in USA, but their ingredients come from China. I’d rather get Diamond Naturals.” I’ve made a lot of really fancy marketing things of Diamond Naturals.

I have Australian Shepherds and on average, I have 10 litters a year. Diamond was easily accessible to me and my dogs did very well on it. It was better than what I had been feeding them. The price was very reasonable too. I've been using Diamond for maybe three years now and I just started sending puppies with their samples this past year along with the pamphlet. I tell the owners that that is what the puppy has been on and how well my dogs do on it. I let them know that we feed our adults the Diamond as well. We feed them the Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete. I tried so many different things before. I would have one dog that did get on something and one that didn’t. I was having a lot of lose stool and such. But on the Diamond, everybody has good energy, nice coats, good stool, and no health issues. They all like it.

Diamond Pet Food is all-natural and it’s for all life stages. I've been using Diamond for my French Bulldogs for about a year now. I like that I can use it for my puppies and my adults. I had a little bit of a problem with mold in a bag that I opened. There were molds on the individual pieces and it probably was a total of two cups worth of food that was moldy. I ended up taking it back to the store and they replaced it. I was not happy with that situation at all because if I hadn’t caught it, my dogs would have been eating moldy food.

I’ve been on Diamond, the purple bag, for a few years. I used that with all my litters, because I breed German Shepherds and English Bulldog. I stopped for a while though. It seemed like the formula had changed. Everybody’s poops smelled horrible. My other dog couldn’t keep her weight. It wasn’t a good situation. So, we went back to Iams. And we recently just started back using Diamond. We've been using the Diamond Naturals, and it’s been amazing.

I breed. I normally have puppies all year around and I contacted Diamond one time for puppy packs. Diamond pet food definitely helped my dog gained weight like my one Shepherd. My other dogs’ poops are solid. And it’s not discolored, which was an issue that I had when I went with the other dog foods out there. They all had different colorful pieces in it, and it just didn’t agree with them. Another thing, my other English Bulldog's allergies have pretty much cleared up. He used to have a really red and blotched face, and his ears used to be swollen. Since I switched to the Naturals, he’s perfect.

With it, my dogs don't poop as much and they seem to be healthy. I used to get the ears of the dogs done and after they got cropped, their ears stood up really well. In the last few years however, they don’t do as well and it’s because of lack of calcium. I contacted Diamond customer service about the calcium issue and the rep was rude. It's been a year and a half that I've been with Diamond. With the number of dogs I have and the quality of nutrition, I have to buy so much quantity and I wanted to keep my budget down. So, the cost of the Diamond and the quality of the food just fit my budget. I breed long coat German shepherds and I send Large Breed Puppies with the Diamond samples. I sent an email and over the application. I got the samples but I wasn't told how do I keep getting more sample. I'm wondering who to call or if I email again.

With my large ones, I have them on the Diamond Hi-Energy. It's a high pro. The pet food puts weight on my dogs and it makes their coats nice and soft. If they eat more of it, they absorb more of it rather than just coming out in their waste. I've been impressed with the food. Overall, I would recommend it. Before, my dogs weren't gaining any weight and their coats were dry and looked terrible.

I use the All Natural and my pets seem to stay healthy whenever I use it. Their stool seems solid too. So, I thought I would stick with Diamond. I have Labradoodles and we have about four litters a year. We send the information with the puppies that is provided by Diamond. However, we did call in and speak to someone not too long ago about the bags not being sealed and they said they would talk to someone and address that. And just the other night, I was at a different location getting some Diamond food, not the same one I normally do, and it was the same deal. The bags were not sealed at the top.

This was at a Menards store and I called the person, the manager from Menards, back to the back and showed them where the bags were not sealing. They were all open in the corners at the top of the bag. There was always the risk of rodents that could get in there because it was open big enough that they could definitely get in there. I told them I contacted Diamond and let them know about the issue ‘cause apparently they've had an issue with the machines that was sealing those bags. So, they’ve seen what it was. They took a picture of it. I told Menards maybe they could say something to Diamond.

We put our adult dogs back on the Diamond after having the pups and they got their luster back and gain weight. So we stopped switching them and only use the Diamond Naturals now. I have my adult dogs on the Extreme Athlete. During pregnancy and after they had pups they usually lose a lot of weight and they kinda lose the shininess of their fur but when they stay on that Extreme Athlete they stay healthy. They do lose a small amount, but that’s normal. But they never get where they're super, super skinny. My puppies stay really healthy. The milk production is insane while they're on there. It works great.

I recommend Diamond to all of my puppy customers. I sent the puppies home with all the puppy kits and I recommend that they keep them on the Diamond Naturals. And when they transition into adult dog food I recommend that their owners keep them on the Diamond Naturals, either the Large Breed Dog or the Extreme Athlete. And so far they all have.

I'm a breeder and I have a few litters each year. And when you're dealing with Siberian Huskies, they're actually very sensitive to different foods. You need a food that’s high in protein and low in filler, because they don’t tolerate large quantities, but they're very active and they need a lot of high energy. Even though the Siberian Huskies are fairly large dogs, they typically, by and large, eat less than dogs their same size. I needed a high energy food and I never had real good luck with some of the same diets.

I used to use Nutro Natural and it used to used to have a high energy. They labeled it as high energy, that was similar in the formula to the Chicken and Rice Diamond Formula. Nutro Natural started playing around with their chicken and rice formula and at that time, it was recommended that I try the Diamond. I had also tried Taste of the Wild in the past, but it was a little bit too rich for my dogs and they ended up getting diarrhea. So, I personally have been using Diamond Chicken and Rice All Stages formula for almost 5 years now. I currently have 8 Siberian Huskies and they're all doing very well on it. I found that the dogs are getting enough nutrition on a smaller volume. Their stools are good, their health is good, the puppies grow well, and my overall adult health has been good.

Once the puppies get to the point where they're taking solid food, they start on Diamond. I've been using the same food for the puppies after they're about 4 or 5 weeks old. Then I found out that Diamond has a sample program and I was very excited about that ‘cause I used to give samples. Since the last few months, I’m in the program now where I get samples from the company and so I'm handing some samples and brochures with the last litter. But I have to put them in plastic bags since I didn’t have the actual sample bags that they provide. Also, the only problem I ran into is that there are not a lot of retail outlets in Tucson, Arizona. We even lost a pet food chain that was carrying it. They don’t carry it at either PetSmart or Petco. I'm getting it through Chewy’s at the moment, and that’s working out well for me.

I believe natural is the way to go. I used the product over a year and I like everything about it. It was the only dog food that my German Shepherds acted well with due to their sensitivities to food. I have litters ever six months. The puppies thrived on Diamond.

But I switched to another company because Diamond does not give customers the option to buy in bulk. I wish they have bigger sizes. Instead of a 40-pound bag, maybe there should be a 50-pound bag. Otherwise, the price is perfect. It’s right on the nose on that. Diamond is doing a pretty darn good job. But I spend so much money a month on dogs, around $300 a month on dog food, and I had to go a cheaper route. It’s still good dog food I’m getting now, but if Diamond sold in bulk, I’d still be sticking with them. Despite that, I highly recommend Diamond no matter as it's an amazing food.

We routinely use the All Life Stages Chicken & Rice. Our poodles tend to be very active so we thought the All Life Stages would be good for the higher calorie needs that they might have. And that's something that they've been on since we brought them home as puppies. They're a bit older puppies so we thought we wanted to keep them on something high calorie as long as possible. Our dogs have always loved it. We free feed them so they always eat lots and getting a lot of nutrition that way. Their coats are really good. We stopped feeding Diamond Pet Foods because between myself and my sister who is also a French bulldog breeder, we had two very sick dogs and the only change was the food. The vet said, the issue that they had that was that it acted like pancreatitis. I’ve raised dogs for 23 years and my sister for 30 years. For the first time ever, we had two litters of puppies that a few of the puppies’ ears didn’t stand. So, there was not enough calcium in it. The adults that got so sick weren’t even kenneled in the same building or the same state as one was in Oklahoma and one was in Maryland. We used it in the adults for about four months. My sister used it a little longer because she recommended it to me. We were feeding Royal Canin and we love it, but every time we turn around, the price went up. We were struggling to afford to feed so many dogs on that. It’s a shame because Diamond Pet Foods' price was very good. I thought the quality was good too.

We have 1 to 2 litters per month. Right now, we won’t have any for a couple of months and we’ll hope to have three in a month and a half from now to two and a half months. So, it varies. I know that Frenchies can be a little quirky. They can have food allergies which they didn’t have any allergic reactions, and they can have a little more fussy stomach. But as of now, I would not recommend Diamond Pet Foods at all to a French bulldog breeder.

I breed corgis and the last litter that I did, I sent them home with Diamond samples. I've got a litter that's going home on February 22nd and 23rd and I will send samples home so that they can continue on with the food that I'm feeding them. Then I bought my puppy food from my local Tractor Supply but I didn't but it in bulk.

I would love to find a way to buy in bulk. The 40-pound bags of puppy food is 36 dollars for a bag. I'm feeding 19 puppies two to three times a day so I'm running into some money. My vet tried to get me to use Science Diet before and I bought four bags from her. It was cheaper because it was just a plain bag. I don't like it though so I don't feed it. But if Diamond could produce something that was less expensive and that saves me money, I'd love that. I want good food for my dogs but I do everything professionally and I don't cut corners. It would help me if I could save more money on their food. The supplier that I checked with and got it from gave me a little discount because I bought 52 bags at once and it was a pallet-full.

I’m happy with the food. Before I changed to Diamond, I've had Authority puppy food and I always used the chicken and rice. My dogs have all done well with it. So, I stayed with the Diamond Naturals chicken and rice and for the puppy food, I stuck with the chicken and rice. I like those. It's worked with me so far and my dogs have not had allergies.

Also, since I switched, my females have come in heat and I've been breeding them. I'm happy with that fact and it seems like my females are cycling. Whereas before, they weren't. But one thing that I have trouble with was my females after they have puppies. Like humans who are pregnant, they have different tastes in food and sometimes, they don't wanna eat the food they've been eating. I'm all the time having to find chicken on sale at the grocery store so I can boil it and use the broth on their kibble or cut up chicken pieces and mix them in the kibble.

It's really important that the mommas eat 'cause they've got to supply these puppies with the nourishment. I'm doing supplements that I buy from other companies and I give the mommas each one a day. But if Diamond could mix it in with food the food that more appetizing and different than what they've been eating, that would be a good thing. A lot of breeders will benefit from that and I'm gonna be sending Diamond a lot of business. Right now, I've got the 19 puppies so that's 19 more people. 9 times out of 10, the people are gonna keep feeding that puppy the food that it's been used to because they don't wanna mess up their tummy.

I used to run a very popular labrador kennel, and I've been using Diamond for the better part of 15 years. My line of labrador retrievers is clean all the way to England and we had one of the purest choco lines in the country. Using Diamond always produces the healthiest puppies and their puppy formula also gave my dogs the energy to run the trials and keep up on their hips and elbows. I was feeding primarily Puppy, and then I also did Hi-Energy. I send the Diamond samples with the puppies home as well and I recommend that they stayed on it. Diamond has been the best most affordable choice for my dogs that worked really well. There was about a year and a half time period that Loyall tried to sponsor me, but I broke that contract and went back to them.

Right now, I have not littered in 2 years because of my divorce. My ex-wife gave away with my breeding bitches during the divorce. So, I have one little girl left that's 18 months now, and maybe I'll breed her next year. I have never had health issues feeding Diamond ever, even when they were in a period, the year when I backed them down to Premium Adult to be when they're not working, just to back it down a little bit. They have really good performance on it.

I'm a breeder and Diamond Pet Foods gives out a pretty decent pet packet, which was the main reason I use them. It's also convenient to get. We send puppies home with the puppy kit they give us. I tell people that I recommend it and to keep the puppies on it long enough so that they don’t get rickets. I’m not satisfied with the product though. It seems like all the products have the same problems. All dog feeds are made for couch potato dogs and not for breeders. The product keeps my Labrador Retriever females from coming in heat right. And they don’t conceive right. The vets at Ohio State says it’s because of the dog feed. We still have to give the dogs additives, like extra vitamins, so that they settle right and have enough milk.

I've been using Diamond for about 10 years and I love the all-natural puppy food. I feed the lamb and rice. It's just been amazing for my use. I haven't ever had a dog that has diarrhea because of dog food. For five years, I raised dachshunds and then I switched over to French bulldogs. When I take my puppies to the vet and have them checked, they're as healthy as they can be.

I had five puppies in my last litter. I called Diamond and they sent me the packs. I try to send at least two of the packages along with the puppy. I tell the people that I've been using this dog food for a long time and I've never had trouble with diarrhea or getting sick on it. Most of them say they would give it a shot. When there was anybody that don't use Diamond food, I have tried to get them to switch because it is so much better than anything else that I've ever used. I've used a lot of different dog food until I got using Diamond.

I predominantly breed and train Labrador Retrievers for both upland hunting and duck hunting, things of that nature. I also have a contract with K2 Solutions for explosives detection work. They provide Labradors to the Second Marine Division for IED work. I've been using Diamond for 13 years as I like the ingredients. I left for a while when they had an issue where it got contaminated corn. That was a bad thing but when something like that happens, it's more stringent on their operating practices. I then came back. It's been one of the few foods that I've been able to use. It also keeps weight on a lot of hunting breeds and also the Schutzhund dogs that I train for competition.

I use the Extreme Athlete but I also use Diamond Pet Food. In the summertime when it gets so hot here in Alabama, sometimes I will back down to the Chicken and Rice. But I still end up going back to the Extreme Athlete because the dogs retain their weight so well with it. I've recommended Diamond to my clients when they purchased puppies. I'm starting them all from scratch. I also recommend that my customers and clients keep their dogs on it once the dogs go home from where they've been eating the food at my place.

Has plenty of muscle and could run and play all day. I found another brand I like better. I'm using something that's a little bit more higher grade and a little bit more expensive, I can afford to now. But I still like Diamond. I'm a dog trainer and I refer my clients to it. I've been using it for several years. A lot of times the prices for what you get are really good deals. It's a wholesome food. I do a lot of shepherd class dogs, Dutch shepherds, German shepherds and Belgian shepherds. We do policing, search and rescue and protection dogs.

We're using Extreme Athlete for those dogs that I just listed and also through adolescence, when they're stretching out a lot. They're a large breed and they're very active, and a lot of these dogs need to lose weight. They burn calories like you will not believe. Out of all the products that Diamond makes for dogs that need to put on weight and dogs that are active and working, the Extreme Athlete seems to be the go-to food. I still use Diamond products up 'till four to six months of age. For the puppy developmental stages, I like Diamond, the purple bag puppy. It's the best. I think for what it is and what it cost, you can't get any better puppy food. And the black bag performance, it would be the other stuff that I would use.

I breed Great Pyrenees and average about five litters a year. I buy them Diamond Pet Foods, mainly for the price, but the breeder I got my dogs from recommended it. For the pups, I use the Large Breed Puppy. And for my adult dogs, I use the Large Breed. It's the dark green color. I like the Naturals' ingredients. It keeps the dogs healthy and satisfied.

Also, I appreciate the breeder program of sending food. However, the sample that comes is too small, especially for large breed puppies. That little packet is a nice snack for puppies, but that's it. I always have to include a whole baggie of food. However, I understand that it's a price thing for Diamond Pet Foods. I give it to customers and tell them that I'm happy with it. A couple of people have said that they have a hard time finding it. These people are more city-oriented and don't have farm stores. I tell them that they could order it on Chewy, but it's $10 more a bag than it is at the farm stores. So, a lot of times, it's comparable in price to many other brands through Chewy. I'm extremely satisfied with it.

We raise dachshunds and it's a joint venture. Our whole family works with it and everybody is involved. We have litters at least every month. We have a kennel so a litter comes in almost all the time. We feed Diamond to our adults and to our puppies. We've been using it on and off for a good 10 years. We like the value and protein content. On our adult dogs, we use the Diamond Naturals chicken and rice. It's kind of a brown or gold tan bag. We mix the purple bag of the puppy food for our adult so they get a combination of those two. In the kennel, the moms and puppies get the blue bag of the Diamond Naturals. That's chicken and rice too. For over 10 years, Diamond has worked and my dogs eat it well so we're happy. I just hope they don't change the formula.

I send puppies to their new homes with Diamond samples except in the summertime. My puppies tend to get diarrhea during that time. I mix either a half and half Diamond and Eukanuba or half and half Diamond and Purina Pro Plan. They get sent home with the other sample just because if the puppies go straight Diamond in the summertime, I cannot control their food. I have thought about it. I don't know if it's the way Diamond trucks it or if it's on a local level. Also, we’re here in Alabama and it gets extremely hot. One thing I really watch for is in the summer months, like maybe May to mid-September. I stock up on a couple of months of it before the hot months arrived. That's the only issue I've had. The little dachshunds' tummies are sensitive and the least little thing gets them an upset stomach.

And so, I dug into it a little bit. I cleaned out my water. I washed my bowls and cleaned out the area. Maybe they need something fresh, and it didn’t really go like I wanted it to. I couldn’t really find any answers. So I stopped using it. I’ve always heard it was good food, especially being quality. I've been using Diamond for like 20 years. The first dog that I had on it passed away at 14 a couple years ago. Even years ago, I was aware that the garbage food brands don’t grow a dog right. There was one good store down in Sioux Falls and the lady there said, “Well, let’s try this with your puppy, see how he does.” My dog was badly in worms and everything else that was digestive upset, and nothing was working with him. So, we went right into the Lamb and Rice puppy. And ever since then, anybody that’s having a problem with their dogs, I get them on to switch over a Diamond product. People see yeasty ears disappear, yeasty feet disappear, and skin coats improve. It’s been an all-arounder.

We breed American bullies, the main ones, and then, the man-dogs, which is a molosser mix is the secondary. We breed for service dogs and working dogs. We had a house fire while our last litter was in the house. We had the care package sent in April. The care package actually arrived a couple days after the house fire. But I was able to get other breeders to handle the pamphlets and the dog food with their pups. So, we got a few more people on the brand. Even before I knew Diamond had a breeder kit, and I always send puppies home with their Diamond Puppy. Diamond got the probiotics. They got the good oils and fats. If a dog food bag comes that’s not quite right, the customer service has been outstanding.

Right now, I mainly use Performance for the girls that I have that are large breed. I’ve seen dogs where their siblings are passing away three years sooner than what my dogs do. So, we get three to five years extra life with Diamond. We’ve seen less tumors in some of our dogs than their siblings that are on bad food. We see better clarity in eyes as they age. We see less hip problems because they're getting the nutrients, balanced with the exercise and the proper growth rate. It’s an overall, a bonus benefit. I even post on Facebook. People say, “What do I feed my puppy?” I say, “What breed? What size?” And I try to give them the best Diamond for their puppy.

My dogs have been on Diamond for at least three years. Diamond is awesome. I will not feed my dogs anything else. I breed Rottweilers. Rottweilers have to have a better quality food because of their hips, elbows and spines and just being a large breed dog. When you have them on Diamond, their coats look so much better. Rottweilers have that harder, denser rough coat and they're softer with Diamond. They grow up and when you do the OFA certifications, they get above average. And this is from 20 years experience of breeding them.

Even my breeding females, I feed them the large breed puppy. And a lot of breeders don't understand, when you have a female, like the first month that she's pregnant, you can feed the Diamond Naturals, which is the adult dog food. But once they get to the last four weeks, you need to put them on puppy food. I also get into breeding these little Poms and I need a small breed puppy on the moms and the puppies. They're enjoying it. They eat it. But I would like to see Diamond to come out with some kind of can food. I buy the Nutro can. I don't care any much for Nutro. But then I got a food processor so I blend it up to make a can food. When you have Pomeranian puppies, they're picky. But they eat that. I had them on a Nutro small breed. They turn their nose up at it.

I have a dog that has allergies and I have to get Royal Canin. It's the prescription food for sensitive skin and stomach and it's also grain-free. I'm not too happy with the food because the dog doesn't eat it. So, I'd like to see something from Diamond that is similar to what Royal Canin has. But Diamond Naturals is the best dog food I've ever fed. And if you watch some of these bigger brand names, they have recalls. And Diamond Naturals doesn't. More places need to carry it. The only place I can get it right now is at a few horse feed stores, which is Tractor Supply and Malabar Feed.

My puppies go home with samples that Diamond sent me. Hopefully, if they're smart, they will keep the puppies on it. The price on the food is awesome too. People buy the Purina Puppy. It sounds like a horrible food. They got all kinds of crap in it. Even the Purina Pro Plan, it's an 18-pound bag and it's the price of a 50-pound Diamond bag.

I also like Diamond because it’s greatly priced. Victor was $50 a bag. Diamond is not that expensive and although it's expensive, it’s a great dog food. I recommend it to everybody. I send them home with the puppy packet and most people stick to what I recommend. I didn’t get to send samples with two litters but it was my fault. I just did not have time to email Diamond. And I'm a kennel, so I suggest all of that to my customers as well. I breed labradoodles and goldendoodles and have litters every three or four months.

The puppies I free feed, so they can eat as much as they want of the puppy food. And the large dogs, when they're pregnant or when they have puppies, are also free fed. But the male ones, I feed them three times a day. I get puppy packets from Diamond, which is a little sample bag and a little literature. I send that in a puppy kit that I make up. I let the people know that that's what the puppy has been eating, and that's what all the parents eat. And it's their choice to go somewhere else, but I haven't had anybody tell me they've ever went to any other brand.

I've been breeding the dogs for years, and everybody keeps their dogs on the Diamond or to my knowledge that they do. I also breed service dogs which are the labradoodles. I also use them for service animals as well. I sell service animals which are the same breed, but I also sell them to handicaps. And also, I discount mine for families which nobody else does. Diamond has always been really good to me and the food is really good to my dogs. All of my dogs are very healthy and very thick. I'm in the process of getting a website for my business because I've been selling these doodles for so many years and I've done it through other means. I will also add the type of dog food on my webpage that they've been feeding on.

I had tried a lot of different kinds of dog food. But I knew I had to feed the mothers higher protein when they are pregnant and then the puppies also had to have it. I had soon discovered that they do better just letting them on it all the time. I keep them in shape and I give them additional vitamins during their pregnancy.

For the puppies, we put the food in a blender with warm water and start them out with a mash when they’re three and a half weeks old. We’ll start giving a little bit of that on the side then we put them back with their mother for another week until they’re close to four and a half weeks or they’re ready to eat just that. For about a week, you can tell they’re going through the transition of not being on milk and going on some dry food. They look better after they get Diamond puppy on them for a week. They get rid of their milk belly and slim out a little bit then they blossom out from there. They look pretty healthy and we get a lot comments about our puppies. Their skin and hair always look fine as well. It’s also really nice to have the little samples to send the puppies home along with. It's more complimentary that way. But if we don’t have the small package, we usually just put the food in a ziplock bag.

I feed multiple dogs. I started out with the boxers, and now, we raise standard poodles too. I've been using Diamond for 10 years because of the availability. The puppy foods is in a purple bag, and we feed the green bag Diamond to our adults. The dogs have good stool and no irritation. They have good coats.

This dog food has truly been the best I have ever given my dogs. They both love it and look great because of the change I made from other company. Both my dogs have soft shiny coats and are at the perfect weight. If you have true American dogs like the coons and cur dogs definitely try this brand out.

My dogs started out eating the dog food but all of a sudden they stopped and would not touch it. I bought this product through Chewy.com and they dropped weight like crazy. Had to toss 3 40lb bags in the dump. I would not recommend this product to anyone. BEWARE.

As a breeder of German Shepherds for the last 10 years we've been using Diamond Naturals chicken and rice with great success. An all life stages food, we use this with our puppies, our adults and our seniors, then recommend it to all of our clients who get puppies from us so that they may enjoy the same level of quality nutrition and care solidly backed by Diamond. Anytime I've had a problem or a question I get a response from the company within 24 hours so I've only had to contact them twice with questions and received a response immediately. So a great food, great customer service and we are very pleased.

I adopted an adult Great Dane. She was malnourished and just didn't like any food. I had used Diamond in the past and tried it for her. The change was almost immediate. She cleans her plate, her hair is shiny and she has filled out nicely. All thanks to Diamond Naturals.

Our Toby is 9 months old and is thriving on Diamond Naturals small breed puppy kibble. The quality of each bag is great and I've never had any trouble with him not wanting to eat it. The price is very reasonable for the amount received in each bag. We will continue to feed him Diamond Naturals when he transitions to adult food without any worry.

Switched to Light Adult Dog Lamb and Rice when my lab/Springer dogs were severely overweight. They are both now a healthy weight. My female lost over 20 pounds! She is 9 and acts like a puppy again. Their coats are so shiny. They both love the taste of their food. Great dog food!

Diamond Extreme Athlete has been a phenomenal food for my two extremely active Belgian Malinois. They actually gained some weight, their stool is firmer after our switch from another dog food supplier, and their coats are so soft and shiny. Thank you Diamond for making a great food that not only makes my dogs look amazing but also meets their nutrition needs.

We have tried several brands with the pets we have rescued. We take in pets from owners that can no longer care for them rather than see them go to shelters or on the street. We have had issues in the past with different foods as far as skin and stomach problems to not liking the food. I also do not like all the extras some of the brands use. We just adopted a min pin that had very loose stools several times a day. My neighbor suggested Diamond brand. We have had him and our others on Diamond now for two weeks and the stools are normal. Right now we have 4 dogs and 5 cats. Varying sizes and ages but our whole little fur family loves the new Diamond food. Thank you so much for giving them such good food to eat.

I have been using both Diamond dog foods and cat foods since the early 1990's. I have raised and maintained my large breed livestock guard dogs on it, first the large breed puppy food, then the Hi-Energy for maintainence. My dogs are outside working 365 days a year in all weather conditions. They will not use shelter and sleep outside in the snow in the winter. With Diamond Hi-Energy they have all maintained body condition regardless of extreme temperatures. My English Mastiff lived to be 12 on this diet, which is rare for a giant breed.

All of my dogs have liked every variety of Diamond dog food they were offered. I have never had a problem from this food, and I want to point out that most of the complaints I've read here about dogs that got sick do not have any evidence to point to the food being the problem. If you think your pet is sick due to the feed, you should have the rest of the bag examined for toxins and investigated by a vet and a lab. Like all products, including human foods, contamination of ingredients is possible. However, many animals would be affected by the contaminated batch; this is why recalls happen. Diamond has one of the lowest recall histories in the business. You owe it to your pets to find out for sure what is making them sick, not just assume it is the food. In particular with the dogs suffering bloody stools, I would suspect rat poison and possibly a malicious neighbor. This has happened in my area.

Regarding the cat foods, I have both working barn cats and a couple of indoor pets. The barn cats have stayed in excellent condition to very old ages on Diamond Active Cat. The indoor cats thrive on the Maintenance kibble. The main ingredients of all these feeds is meat; the protein level is not artificially jacked up by ingredients like pea protein.

I'm no stranger to contaminated feed problems; I've had livestock and poultry for enough years to have seen some bad feed. But in every case, it was actually proved by testing that the feed was the problem, and there was a recall. In nearly 30 years of using Diamond pet foods I've never had a problem with it and have no hesitation recommending it.

I have been buying Diamond Naturals chicken and rice since September 2018 and I haven’t had any problems until I bought a new bag on June 29th. I started giving the new bag of food to my 3 dogs the next day (6/30) and on Monday (7/1) around midnight my healthy 7 year old Aussie/Border Collie started having diarrhea. I assumed he must have got into something in our yard until he started vomiting and having bloody diarrhea. Tuesday morning he was refusing food and water so I made him boiled chicken and broth to keep him fed and hydrated. On Wednesday, he was still sick and at this point only pooping bright red blood and quite often, but he was still active and hydrated so I held off on taking him to the vet.

Then the same day my 2 year old dog got sick with diarrhea, but fortunately was only sick for a day. By Friday, my first dog was still sick so we went to the vet that morning and he was given an antibiotic and **. By evening, he was doing so much better. A couple days later my 3rd dog, an 8 year old Border Collie, got sick with the same liquid diarrhea (thankfully no blood). The ** didn’t help him, but the antibiotic did. He was only sick for 2 days. I spoke with our vet's office and we tried to figure out what could possibly be making my 3 healthy, vaccinated dogs sick and they said it was unlikely Parvo or salmonella, but I told them I was throwing our Diamond Naturals dry food out anyways because it was the only culprit I could think of.

We have a fenced in backyard that they play in and I checked the yard multiple times to make sure they didn’t get into something, but I couldn’t find anything. A dog in my house may get random day long diarrhea once in a while, but never like what we just experienced. We changed to another brand of dog food and they’re all doing good. I don’t know for sure if it was the Diamond food that made them all sick, but I won’t be purchasing ever again just in case.

I heard from other corgi breeders that Diamond works really well with the corgi breed and that they didn't have any problems with using it. So I used it as well. I've been using the Diamond Natural small breed puppy. My puppies are in good health. Their teeth are great, and they're not covered in tartar. Diamond is very good for them. So go ahead and try Diamond. They have many options to choose from and you can't go wrong with it.

We had good luck with Diamond. Our vet recommended it and we've been using it for about four years now. We breed boxers and we have four litters a year. They live in the home with us and we don't have a kennel. We use Diamond Premium for the large dogs then we use Diamond Puppy if they're a year or under. We also use that for our puppies when they're here or for pregnant mommas. We have a nine-year-old as well and we use the Senior Naturals for him. Then we send the puppies home with samples of Diamond Pet Foods and a lot of the owners stick with it. So far, our dogs seem to have done well on Diamond. We have two dogs that have sensitive stomachs and we haven't seen much of that in it at all.

Diamond pet food is the most amazing product I’ve ever used and I've been using it for 35 years now. Another breeder told me about it and I’ve tried other products but I always go back to it. Right now, I have small and large breed dogs and they all seem to take it really well. I use the purple bag Puppy then I use the Hi-Energy Adult. Sometimes, I’ll use the Diamond Naturals but not very often, just if I have an issue with a dog. I have a lot of dogs that live to be 18 and 19 years old, so it must be the food.
