The dogs liked Canidae but they got tired of it. They wouldn't eat it anymore and would just look at it and walk away. We switch food every couple of years.

If we gave him other food he instantly had a reaction to it. Whereas the Canidae, he did really well. Never had a stomach problem. On top of that it's more cost-effective than the prescription food that the vet prescribed.

My cat has a real sensitive stomach so I buy the Canidae and then I buy the Probiotics and sprinkle it on it for her and it's been great. We first saw it being on sale, and we're in the market for natural-based grain-free food, so we decided to give it a try. The food contributed quite a bit to the health of our pets. Sadly, we have stopped using them since the price became expensive after the sale. Nevertheless, I would recommend them.

I love your dog food. The only thing I have an issue with is you need to get a sticker that you can peel off so you don't just keep cutting the bags open for your little program - because you get a free bag on your tenth or twelfth, which is great. It gets a little confusing with the whole setup process. But when you go in there, it takes a while because they have to cut out the bag. And it’s a nice, freshly sealed bag which sometimes leaks and loses freshness. That's the only kind of complaint that I have - just better packaging when it comes to taking out that stupid thing for the program. But everything else is great.

We have two large breed, an Australian labradoodle and a standard poodle. We also have a poodle-Maltese mix and a spaniel mix with some other half-dog DNA in it. The two smaller breeds are both between 15 and 20 pounds. They have been on Canidae for a year now and are well conditioned to the product. They've never had an adverse response to Life Stages Canidae. They seem to eat it all up whether it's just kibble. As the dogs got older the two smaller ones are like 12 years old and the other two are between probably 7 and 5. They're all eating senior/adult dog formulas and I supplement it with some boiled chicken. My latest two purchases were the pure wet food product in a yellow bagging. The store I buy my product at clips the coupons for me. After ten purchases, I get a free bag or a free case. Canidae is gonna be a part of our diet here.

I've got a Cleveland Heeler Pointer mix and I've been feeding her Canidae and another brand. The price of Canidae has gone up, but at the time they were about the same cost as the other brand and since my dog seemed to like it and we liked the way her silk glows, we did stick with it and I recommend it to everybody. My only complaint and disappointment is that they don't do the Pure in the big bags anymore so when you're feeding bigger dogs, it's a pain to have to go back and forth and buy four bags at a time. I know a lot of people who buy the Pure series where it's all natural and no grain, so I hope they have it in the same size of bags as everything else.

Also, it is very important to feed pets natural ingredients and Canidae makes my pets healthy. I am not testing them with other food so I don't know how they would react. We give them Canidae because it is the one they like and they don't have any complications with. However, because of the fact that the other Canidae that we had were giving her problems, I would recommend and tell others to be cautious because certain mixtures might not work well with the animal. So unfortunately, it's still a guinea pig type of trial and error until you find one that is pleasing to a particular animal.

So I'm just pricing out of that market.

We've been using it for our pets for three years and it started after one of my dogs, at a certain point, became very sick and we couldn't figure out why he was sick. We did every radiological test, lab test, and everything we could think of. His liver enzymes were as high as I've ever seen in any person or dog. My vet and I put him on a Science Diet GI and he spontaneously recovered. We never found the etiology for his illness and he just got better. However, if you look at the nutritional value for that diet, it's basically nothing but carbohydrates and my dog started acting like he was hungry all the time like a poor starving baby.

We give them Canidae Life Stages since they say they say that it’s for all stages and they like it. We have the 30-pound bags. I do have some stickers to that but we really need to purchase the largest bag they have which is the 44-pound bag. The product is real savvy but a little pricey. But they really enjoy it.

I have been feeding my 2 dogs Grain Free Canidae Dog Food, I bought a bag of Bison flavored and when they got done eating that I thought I would try the Lamb Grain Free. They hate it, will not eat it. I mixed it with another flavor of Canidae and they still will not eat it? Not sure if it's because it is mixed with the lamb flavor or what? What is in the lamb that makes them not eat it? They have ate other dog foods that are lamb? Not sure what is going on with Canidae? I think I might just switch to another brand and see if that will stimulate their appetites...

We get the 40/44-pounders Life Stages for the value but I often tend to buy whatever’s on sale, like if the lamb and rice is on sale. I just recently bought a dozen of those. I’d actually feed them the Holistic one but I can't afford that with seven dogs. I hope feeding them Canidae contributes to their health and well-being, but there ain't no way to know.

No visible damage or bubbling to the can to indicate increased pressure inside. The lid opened like normal, with no resistance. Nothing about it would indicate any danger.

I'm stuck with it ever since and I've been very happy with it. I have small dogs now. It's a little expensive but not when you have small dogs because they don't eat that much. I do recommend it.

Canidae is a good product. I buy it for cats and dogs but they could improve on the cats', making the bag bigger.

My 2 large dogs had diarrhea for 2 weeks. CANIDAE customer service never called back after 3 messages. Then I went to an alternate retail shop for dog food and while I am at the counter another couple tells us they had the SAME experience with their dog and CANIDAE. I would recommend any other pet food because if you have an issue these people don't care!! Spend your money elsewhere!

My dogs like Canidae. They've been on it for 5 years. I like their rebate program and the fact that you get a free bag. I would recommend it depending on the dog. I have a mobile dog grooming service so I've come along across a lot of dogs that have some kind of issues. It really depends on the dog's issues. My dogs don't have skin problems and they eat their food. I've seen a lot of dogs that have skin problems from the use of corn and eliminating corn sometimes clears up the skin problems and nail problems with Canidae.

I have 2 puggles, 5 and 4 years old. We've been feeding them with Canidae probably for 4 years. We chose the Limited Ingredients with the Grain Free because one of our dogs is susceptible to allergies and we found that eliminating some of the grains has been successful. We love Canidae! We've been very loyal to the brand and will continue to be. It's the perfect dog food.

I have been purchasing Canidae for more than 5 years. I wanted to give them quality food, and I went to the feeds store and it was presented to me there as a good food and started buying it. I have 4 dogs. One of them is an epileptic dog and so I was especially anxious into having a good food for him. When my dog got epilepsy, I joined an online group. That's when I was getting into conversations with people and they were talking about the importance of natural ingredients. And Canidae did have a good quality, natural ingredients. I feel like that's beneficial to my pets' health.

I did a lot of research on dog foods before I purchased Canidae for our new labradoodle puppy. Canidae was recommended to me by the local pet store, and I read lots of websites claiming that it was a top-notch grain-free food. I bought the all-life stages dry food from Amazon.com in August 2014 and the reviews looked great. Our puppy had completely firm/healthy stool before we started him on the food. However, we started noticing that he was having loose stool, and we couldn't seem to get it under control. I took him into the vet, and our vet gave him some medication, but it only helped temporarily.

I used Canidae for about seven years and stopped for about a year and now I've been using it again for about two and a half years. I chose them because one of the breeder guys I knew had a beautiful dog and his dog was humongous. He mentioned that all he gave him was two cups of Canidae a day. He also told me how much his dog likes it and so I tried it out. He was right. It’s the best. We have a one and a half year old Great Dane, a 13-year old Razor Edge Pitbull, and a Boxer mix. I feed them Canidae’s Life Stages because I can give it to all of them and I like that. That's one of the nice things about Canidae. They don't have a bunch of treats from when I first started feeding them. It's good for them and they don’t have to be fed as much.

My animals eat Canidae. I have a Catahoula dog, a Redbone two-pound Chihuahua mix, a Chihuahua, a Maltese, and two cats. I have been purchasing Canidae food for them for three years. My experience with it has been fine. It’s made in the United States and I don’t have to worry about weird things being in it. I don’t want it coming from other countries. I purchased their PURE grain free line, because it’s better not to have grain. The better food they have, the less trips they have to the vet. So my animals are absolutely healthy. I never had any problem with it overall.

I have a 2 year old Weimaraner and have been feeding him Canidae for about a year and a half. I buy the Life Stages because of the value and they offer the biggest bag, 44 pounds. My dog seems to be doing fine with Canidae. He's active and loves the food. It's a great product and great value.

Canidae is a very good deal. I've been purchasing Canidae dry dog food for three years now because I wanted a good one that would help my dogs lose a little bit of weight. I don't want to add any more weight to my dogs because they're already fat and overweight. It's important to me that Canidae only contains natural ingredients. My four dogs really haven't gotten any fatter than they were. We haven't been able to give our them a walk because of our health conditions so they really haven't lost any weight but haven't gained any weight. It's the best stuff that I can give my dogs based on my budget. My dogs like it. They always eat every last crumb before I give them supper the next day.

My dog likes Canidae.

Our dog is a pug-beagle mix. She is 9 years old and she is pretty lazy. She's awesome. We love her. We had her since she was about eight weeks old. We've had her her whole life. We've been feeding her with Canidae probably for the past three years or so, since we became aware of the better choices that were out there as far as grain free. Because we weren't really aware that there was such a big difference between the different types of foods until we did a little research; we wanted what was best for our little dog.

I've been feeding my pets Canidae for about eight years. I have 3 Labradors and 2 cats. I chose Canidae over other brands because of the fact that it isn't made in China. Also, I had a cat who died because I was feeding him Science Diet, and I've found out that many animals were dying because of a certain ingredient found in pet food. I think that was melamine. So it was very important to know that the food I feed my pets is made here, and the ingredients are all natural and additive-free. I believe Canidae does great for my pets. They're bouncy and happy. Also, I like the fact that I get a free bag after I've bought 12 bags of Canidae. Using Canidae has been positive and I have recommended them.

The dogs love Canidae. It doesn’t give them much diarrhea and they’re healthy with it. I’ve eaten the treats too and they taste pretty good.

We like Canidae Pet Food, we’ve been using it for 7 years, and our two large Dobermans do well on it. The lady here that sells it, she advertises it a lot, and they deliver. I like it since its all-natural food and no fillers. It matters a lot to us that they’re eating natural stuff. It’s great food for your pet.

A month of exhausting research for my special needs cat who had a UTI Blockage. This was recommended because it has cranberries in it and all natural. 3 out of 4 cats got sick and the other was smart enough to turn his nose up at it! 1 cat had bloody diarrhea, 1 cat tummy ache, 1 cat threw it up and the 4th snubbed it! It was purchased at Petco.

I have been purchasing Canidae Food for about 5 years. It was recommended by our breeder. I fed my 5-year-old Weim and 12-year-old Lab the standard Canidae up until there was an issue with them being able to supply and we couldn't get it. So we switched to Pure and we've just stayed on it. It's better than the regular food. I think that down the road they will have less vet visits and be healthier all around. Canidae is excellent.
