I have two Labradors. Remington is 10 years old and Drake is five. They're both males. When I started to purchase Canidae, my Drake was a puppy and it said it's for all stages so I figured I could give it to my older dog and him as a puppy. It's very valuable. I was having problems with hot spots and my dog was not tolerating all the food well. A lady in my neighborhood who is a nutritionist said that Canidae was the healthiest and had the best stuff. So, I've been using it ever since and there were no more hot spots. My dogs have been better. However, it's expensive. I pay $56 for a 44-pound bag. I could pick up the same bag for a different brand for $20 at Costco. Also, I can only get Canidae in certain stores so it's very inconvenient.

The breeder where we got our Yorkshire Terrier from was using Canidae so we just stayed with it. She's 9 years old now and has been a very healthy dog. The cost of the pet food is fine. I pay for it since she likes it and eats it. We buy the small bag since she's a small dog. It's funny that it takes her years for her to eat. I could go through a five-pound bag forever. The place where we buy the pet food gives the 13th bag for free if people buy 12 bags. We just recently got the free bag and she definitely eats more now. Overall, Canidae is excellent.
Hi Deborah! 9 years is amazing! We are glad to hear you've had such a success with out products. We appreciate the feedback, as well as the rating. We are happy to hear that you were able to take advantage of our Frequent Buyer Program; it is a way for us to show our appreciation. Take care!

I've been buying the Life Stages by Canidae for about 3 years and it's the only thing I buy because sometimes, changing up the dog food, even if it's the same brand, will cause rashes. I like that with the food, my dog produces solid waste so it's easy to pick up. I have a Yorkie Terrier and she's happy with the food. She knows when it's her feeding time and she's excited about it so that lets me know that she likes the food I'm giving her. They recently changed their label and the bagging which was cool. However, it was a little confusing at first. For the first couple of minutes, I didn't know if I was getting the same type of food that I usually get but it's an easy fix. It's the same bag but with a different color. I usually would buy the small bags but I realize that if I buy the bigger bags, I buy less frequently at the pet store. That makes it easier because they don't sell it everywhere else, only at a few places in particular.

I needed grain-free food for my dog and Canidae seemed like a good option. It's also reasonably priced so I have everything I needed. My dog is an eight-year-old Shepherd mix. He has a really bad skin and I was looking for anything to help get the allergies under control. While Canidae didn’t solve the problem, it made things a little bit easier for him. It hasn’t made it worse and he’s thriving otherwise on it. So, I’m happy to keep him on it and I've been purchasing Canidae for five years now. I have also recommended it to my brother’s pet and its littermates. They’re on the same food and they like it a lot.
Hi Gina! Thanks for the rating and the feedback! We are sorry to hear that you are not finding satisfaction in the skin issues your dog is experiencing. Canidae offers a wide variety of formulas, that will target and assist in issues such as skin and coat. We would be happy to assist in finding a formula that may provide better results! We always strive to provide the highest quality food for pets. Canidae was recommended by the sales rep at the store where I shop and I’ve been happy with it. I have a mini poodle and he’s been consistently 10 pounds for the duration that I’ve been feeding him this food. He also has minimal skin issues that I heard can be caused by food products. He's 11 and Canidae's Life Stages was recommended for his age. I like the food and that’s the only thing I feed my dog for the last six years. I also participate in their program and get a free bag every 12 months.

I have two dogs. One is a giant breed, one is a toy dog and both of them are approximately two years old. We could feed them both the same thing that’s why I bought Canidae. I’ve been using it for two years now since it was recommended and they also sell a product that’s for all life stages, all breeds of dogs, all sizes for dogs, which is unique. Just like a lot of dog foods, though, I got a couple of bad bags. This happened about three times in two years. But other than that, everything is great. They’re a great company.

I work at Petco and they switched me and my pets onto Canidae. Our business manager for this area in Oregon had come in and talked to me about it. He told me that, if I learn more about it then I get a free bag. I did some of the research and I went through the courses. I really liked that they're a family-owned business, that they've not been bought out by anybody. I also like that they grow their own ingredients on their farm and that it's limited ingredients.
I used to feed my cats Kitten Chow years ago before I worked in the pet industry. I watched my sister's really old kitty just go downhill super fast from eating the cat chow. When I got into the pet industry, I started feeding my cats healthier diets. They gained some weight, but they're just healthier and have a lot more energy. I've noticed that their coats look really good since they've been eating the Canidae, especially my dogs. I always recommend it to every customer who wants to know what brand they should feed, and they go straight to the Canidae.
Hi Josie! We are glad to hear that your cats are doing so well, and staying healthy! We appreciate your feedback, as well as your rating, in addition to your support and recommendations of our food. Hope you have a great day!

I’m pleased with Canidae's food. I've fed them to Paddington, a 15-year-old Jack Russell, Wile E., a 14-year-old Labrador, and Fisher, a 12-year-old Portuguese Water Dog for eight years now primarily because of their ingredients. It's expensive, but it's better quality food. I change up the varieties because they get bored with some. Sometimes, I get the Senior, sometimes, I get the chicken. We’ve been loyal for probably a few years now and I’m sure if I’m to get a new dog when these passes on, we’ll probably stay with the same one.
I didn't like the recent change in their packaging, however. They used to have a little zip on it where you can pull it like a peel tab and they did away with that. Now, it's sealed so tight that you had to take scissors and stab into it to open it. It’s very difficult if you can’t get the bag open and you have to rip it in a way that makes pouring the food out of it hard. But the last bag I bought was easier to open than the one they had in between there for a few years and it's brighter.
Thank you for your many many years of support and for leaving such a nice review and rating. We are very happy that your dogs have done so well with their CANIDAE. We are sorry to hear you have not been pleased with the new packaging, I will express your concerns on this for future changes. Thanks again!

I had an 80-pound Labradoodle that died at 11 and then I have a 25-pound Cockapoo puppy. The veterinarian told us to use Canidae for the shedding and dry skin because it's more rich in protein. I've also switched my in-law's dog food. He's got Goldendoodles and they all are on Canidae now. I've been purchasing Canidae for three years now and they have bad gas because of that but their skin is not as dry anymore.
Thank you for your support and for taking the time to leave a review. We are very happy to hear about how well the CANIDAE has been for their skin and coat. I have sent a separate email to discuss which protein source they are on and see if I can offer any assistance with that. Thanks again!

We raised Bulldogs and had done some showing and breeding before I had children of my own. Right now, I only have two dogs and they are nine and six years old. Lots of dogs have been eating Canidae under our care and they always had a healthy weight and healthy coat as well. I've been purchasing Canidae food for close to 10 years now. I used Diamond and some Purina products prior to that but Canidae has all life stages and a variety of protein sources so we switched. I like the program where we buy 12 bags and get the 13th one for free which is neat. I never have to worry about diet or trying to put weight on dogs since Canidae has the right amount of nutrition for them. We tell everyone about the Canidae as it’s the perfect pet food.

I had a pet that had some health issues and I was doing some research and realized that some of the cheaper brands that you buy at your local department store have a lot of fillers and junk. We care about our animals and we wanted to find something. But the more expensive brands that didn't use a lot of those fillers were a little out of our budget. Canidae seems to offer a product though. We use the All Stages and Platinum series for seniors. When we switched over, we had gotten a new puppy. We started out with our puppy then started feeding Canidae to our dogs that were about three at the time. We found that their coats improved, they had a lot of energy and they were doing very well with the product so we've stuck with it. We've been using Canidae for at least three years now.
We are a large family and we love our pets but it gets costly trying to feed them. But Canidae's program where you get one bag free when you buy 12 has been helpful. All you have to do is cut out the UPCs, fill out the little envelope and take it to the store. We're running about $55 to $60 a bag for the dog food so that's a nice little benefit. We've gotten good results with Canidae and we're very happy.
Hi Donna,
Thank you for taking the time to give such a great review. We are so happy that CANIDAE works so well for your family. Thank you for your continued support.

When we got our Labradoodle, his breeder used Canidae and we decided we'd just continue it. His name is Toby and he is nine and a half years old now. Life Stages is the one we have always used. He eats them willingly so we continue to use it. Also, I like the fact that he stayed pretty slim at right around 60 pounds and it seems to meet his needs. He is also happy, healthy and always energetic. In addition, I appreciate the fact that every so often you can get a free one. It's part of their program and it takes a while to accumulate enough of them. While it's more expensive than some of the food in the market, we've stuck with Canidae because it has served Toby well. We've been perfectly happy with Canidae and we'd recommend it to anybody to try.

Based on the research that was done for me by my ex when we started buying Canidae in 2006, Canidae has less waste, poop washes away easier, and there aren't any by-products or anything in it so it is more natural. Our dogs don't need plastic and stuff in them. If it's a more natural brand, they eat less and I save some money, too. Instead of eight scoops of the cheap stuff, you get three scoops of the good stuff and they're getting all the nutritional value they need. And that's one of the things we liked Canidae for.
I had gotten Life Stages when I had Shadow, she was an older Pitbull. We had a mix of ages, we had a 12-year old right down to a puppy. We changed three different times, and I even had the special one for a while for Shadow had an allergy. But because I can never get to any place to get the Canidae as I don't travel out of town too much anymore, I've converted to IAMS. I wish Canidae sold their products more locally. I have to drive 45 minutes to get it. And then it's a hit or miss if they have it in stock. If Canidae would ship it to the house and I don't have to buy a big bulk, that would be helpful.

I used to raise Shepherd puppies and purchased Canidae Life Stages. Their stool is cut down and I’m impressed with it. My other sister feeds a lesser brand to her dogs and she has had more cancer but I did not run into that. The only problem that I had with Canidae was there was a run that they did and there was alfalfa. It wasn’t cleaned out and my dog food was green. I showed to the guys at Canidae and they sent me coupons. Otherwise, I love the dog food and my seven dogs look fantastic on it. I don’t have to feed a whole lot of it too. I have Shepherds, Pugs and a Yorkie and they can all eat Canidae. My sister and my niece feed Canidae to their dogs too. My niece has seven dogs and my sister has two. She feeds them lamb and rice.

I have been feeding my dogs with Canidae for 13 years. I want my dogs to eat good and natural food, and that's very important. Canidae has natural ingredients, enzymes, and it’s a full-balanced meal for all stages of growth. It’s also a good quality food that’s affordable. There are some other good quality food out there, but it’s expensive. Feeding four Labrador Retrievers could add up, but it's fair-priced for what I'm getting.
I had Silver, a nine-year-old, Labrador Retriever. I also had Jazz, a black Lab which we had at four months. She broke her back at five and I helped her recover. She just stayed on Canidae the whole time and she healed up well. With rehab and stuff, she was able to live a full life until 12 and a half. In addition, I have two other chocolate Labrador Retrievers that are five and a half now. We had them since they were six weeks old and they’re very healthy and good dogs. I first started using Life Stages but with Jazz, I used the Canidae Platinum because I couldn’t get her overweight due to her back problem. I had Blue on Canidae Platinum, too, when he got older. All my dogs see the doctor once a year and they get good health reports. They really don’t need it, but the vet says they need to see my dogs. They like Canidae and it's contributed to their good health and well-being.

I have been purchasing Canidae for six years. My kids both work at pet stores and they said Canidae is among the good ones. We’ve also done some homework on Canidae and for me, feeding my pet natural ingredients is pretty valuable. I buy the Life Stages variant because my dogs have various ages. With this brand, my two golden retrievers don’t stink, which is a big thing. We noticed that right away after we switched over from what we were feeding our dogs before. Canidae has been helpful too. There was a point where my husband and I were both not working for a while, and I called them to tell them that I didn’t want to stop buying Canidae. What they did is they sent me some coupons. I have recommended Canidae to my friends.
Hi Nikki,

Canidae has a high-quality ingredient and I have been using this for my 2 pets(German Shepherd and a Bulldog) for four years now. I'm using the ALS. I liked it because it was something I could begin them on and that it had more protein sources so it's more balanced. That was basically the long and the short. I did it with something that I could stick with. It's readily available and the cost is reasonable for the quality of the products. So, there's a lot of pros to go on that particular one. Also, feeding my pets with natural ingredients is very high on my priority list.
I've read an article that they've acquired a farm in Kansas and they're going to be doing a lot of procuring their ingredients and bringing that in-house. I think that's very cool. I wish Canidae all the best on that. And I'd say continue sourcing high-grade quality products. Whoever is supplying them their products, they're doing a good job.
Hi Collin,

My dog was on Under The Sun for at least a year. I chose Under The Sun over other pet food because they had a grain free brand and the price was better. I had a Great Dane so I went a zero bag of food in less than two weeks. I felt the quality was better than the stuff I was using before and feeding my pet with natural ingredients is very valuable. I had no issues with it. I had a very hard time with my dog and what she was allergic to. So that was one brand that I found that was decently priced and worked.
Hi Jessica,

I had tried various different brands over the last five years and every six months, my Weimaraner Pitbull mix would develop an allergy to something in every one of them and she’d get sick, and I had to find a new brand that didn’t make her sick that she liked. So, I switched to Canidae Under The Sun just by chance because it was grain free. My husband settled on all kinds of crap when she was a puppy, so she’s got serious liver issues. She has to have a grain-free food. My dog has been using Canidae for twice as long as she was using the other one before she developed an allergy. It’s been two years that I’ve been using this particular brand flavor and she hasn’t gotten sick from it. So, so far so good. I’m really happy with that because it’s kind of hard trying to have to find a new brand, a new flavor that she likes that doesn’t make her sick. I’m absolutely satisfied with Canidae.
However, I was kind of hoping that Canidae has another supplier besides Petco because I’m disgusted with them right now. Last time I went in to buy my regular-size bag, they raised the price exponentially on that one flavor and that one size. I'm sure I was the only buying that particular flavor there because I noticed that their stock wasn’t really diminishing any from time to time when I’d come in and purchase. I’m going to find another store and see if they indeed rose the price in other stores too or if it was just special for me.
Also, I had a problem with the wet food. I was mixing her dry food and wet food for a while, but I had to quit using the wet food because about three out of five cans were not good. They were like gray and pasty and smell bad. I was going to take them back, but I never ended up to get them back because I forget to bring the open can with me when I go back to the store. So, I’d buy another one. I finally just quit buying them because I don’t know if it was the manufacturer problem or if it was their stock not being rotated.
Hi Jennifer,
That is wonderful that the UNDER THE SUN has worked so well for her. Thank you for your wonderful review!I also sent you a message as well.

But I had to discontinue using it because I just found out that it didn't have the right ingredients for what I was looking for such as a grain-free, not stuffed with potatoes because it’s not a grain or peas, even though they say they are. I’m also looking for a reasonable price but some of the foods are very expensive for what you get.

I've been purchasing Canidae pet food for two years for my 3 dogs. I have a Brittany bird dog and a dog named Rascal that are dog 10 years old and another one that's 4 years old. I've tried lots of dog foods over the years and I don't have to ever put the food down with Canidae. My pets go right to it. They always want to eat it and when I come home with a bigger bag, they go near the bag and have a sniff. And if I forget to feed them in the evening, the big bird dog sits over, with his head on the big plastic container of the pet food. I purchase the Life Stages since it's a bigger bag and I get more for my money. The smaller dogs get half a cup of the pet food while the bigger dog gets a cup, twice a day, and they're well-fed. The bag will last me two months. A lot of people say that it’s expensive but I disagree. My pets love Canidae and I’ve recommended it many times.
Hi Penny,
Thank you for your great review on CANIDAE ALS. We really appreciate you taking the time to write in with your experience. Your dogs sound so cute and that is so sweet how he lays his head on the container too:) Thanks again!

I used Canidae for my pet, a Great Dane, for about a year and a half but I don't use it anymore because we don't have that pet. I liked that the one I was buying was all natural and didn't use a lot of fillers. It uses most of the protein base like fish and the first ingredient wasn't grain. I was using another brand before and when I switched to Canidae, my pet perked right up and I was getting good results out of it. She was having problems with her joint then and the vet and I noticed that she was able to get around at it after the switch. She didn't have any allergies with that food and her bowel was even better. Overall, Canidae is a great product that’s good for your pet's health and I really liked it.

I've been with Canidae for approximately four years now and my dogs love it. I have a Boxer-Pitbull mix and I feed him Canidae Pure. His name is Dash and he's 85 pounds. He's five and a half years old now and not super active. I also have a Chihuahua and I just started using the small batch for her. I chose the Pure ones because I like that it was simple. The Boxer-Pitbull has a really sensitive stomach and the Canidae Pure is a limited ingredient diet that my dogs love ever since I first started. I work for the factory and Canidae was exclusively for us. So it makes it easier for me to sell Canidae to other customers and have them continue coming back. Once I let them know that my dogs loved it, I just kept going on with it and pushing it.
One thing I really love about the Canidae is that I don't have to feed my Boxer-Pitbull so much of it because it is a limited ingredient and its filling doesn't have all the junk that most dog foods have. I like the quality I'm getting out of Canidae and all the bag of dog food lasts a good amount of time. Also, feeding my pets natural ingredients is very valuable. They eat better, live longer and their health seems better when they eat better food. My mother-in-law doesn't feed Canidae to her dog, who's overweight. Her dog came from the same litter, but my dog looks cleaner and healthier. She doesn't want to spend for the Canidae dog food but I told her that it's worth it. It's a great product and has great results. I'm going to continue trying to sell it.

I do mostly rescues and my daughter works for a vet, and we work mostly with whatever is there. I have a Pitbull rescue that was an abandoned puppy. I also have a Chihuahua rescue and a Chihuahua mix rescue. I have a puppy that is a year and a half old and she's been on Canidae her whole entire time. My daughter has a dog that's now eight and he's been on Canidae too since he was a puppy. We looked it up on the internet and that was the number one dog food so that's what we get and we've been using it for eight years now. I wish though that it was in the grocery store because I literally have to go one city over to buy it. They're a little bit expensive but I still pay it and it's the cheapest around town. My dogs have been on it forever.
Canidae changed how to get into the bag. I had a little bit of difficulty just tying it up but now it's fantastic. It’s not a ripoff lid anymore. Now you got to turn around and the way you open it is different. I also like the coupons at the back where you get 12 coupons and get one bag for free. Overall, Canidae is fantastic and I recommend it to everybody. I used to buy crappy pet food at the grocery stores a long time ago but since I have Canidae, my pets look healthy and their coats look healthy as well. I just wish it gets rid of my Pitbull's anxiety issues because that's what I get with the rescues but that's okay. We'll get through it. Other than that, my dogs are beautiful and we love Canidae Pet Foods.

For eight years, I've been purchasing Canidae for my dogs. I have a year and a half old Doberman, an eight and a half years old Lab mix and another Lab mix that’s 14 and a half years old. I give them Life Stages because that’s the one that goes from the puppies to the older dogs. It was recommended by my vet and said that it's a good one. The pet store I went to also said that it's the best ones they sell. When the dogs are hungry, they chew it down quick. They don't throw up after eating. The dog's coats and teeth look good so I keep feeding Canidae.
The dogs have a lot of energy with it but they’re not fat. They stay looking nice and healthy. I can feel that their muscles are nice and strong. They also always look like they’re happy. Unlike the other dog food I used to feed them before, they’d either throw it up or just have a bad experience. I'm not feeding them any garbage from China and I found out that other name brands had a mixture in it that dogs don’t digest.
I’ve been feeding my dogs since I was a teenager. I’m in my 50’s now, so I’ve gone through good and bad experiences. And Canidae is about the only good one. I’ve always recommended it to all my friends and family members. My dogs are here as my pets. They’re not here for me to feed them crap. Overall, Canidae is a great food and hopefully it helps the dogs live longer a happy and healthier life.

There was the big scare several years ago on dog food. There’s a disease linked in the local Purina so we went to the holistic food, Canidae. And my experience has been fine. We have several pets and we’ve been feeding them Canidae over the years. Most of them are Dalmatians and Labradors, 10 to 12 of them over the few years.
We’re paying the extra money so we could feed our pet natural ingredients. We give them Life Stages. Though the Lamb and Rice is a good food, it gives them gas and we can’t live in the house after that. But when we switched initially, I found out that we fed them less. We started out feeding them the same amount but they started getting really fat. And so, I started feeding them less which made less of a mess in the backyard and they’ve just done real well on it. And I’ve compared the money feeding them the Purina and the mass produced stuff versus the Canidae. And since I’m feeding them less, the dollars actually work out about the same.
However, the loyalty program sucks. I live in a very small town and I used to buy my food in Las Vegas just because that’s the only place where we could get it. Then my local store got a couple of bags as a trial. I talked to them and got them to carry it regularly. So they applied for the loyalty program so that I could do the 12-Bag Get 1 free. I did that for a couple bags and then finally, the guy came up to me and said, “Hey, we have yet to receive any credits for any of these that we’ve sent in and so, we can’t do the Loyalty until we start getting some payment for this outlet.” And you can’t blame him one bit. So, until that issue is resolved, I end up not getting the benefit of the loyalty program which increases my cost 10%. But Canidae is good food and I’ve already recommended them.
We are so happy you have chosen CANIDAE Pet Foods for your pet family.

We have two Border Collie mixes and they were rescues. We chose to give them Canidae because it's non-preservative. We've been giving them this pet food for ten years now. The Life Stages was the one recommended when we first got them but now that they're seniors, it’s a mix of a senior formula and the chicken and rice. The newest dog we adopted had some stomach issues so that’s what works. The reason I picked Canidae is that my mom had a dog and that dog had a horrible skin condition which was constantly like that. There were hot spots all over and constantly bleeding from scratching itself so bad and they ended up having to put the dog to sleep. That dog got tons of cortisone shots. So when we were going to get our first dog, I researched and realized my mom's dog's condition was probably from all the crap in the dog food.
Canidae seems to have worked and my dogs had no issues. The latest rescue has terrible issues because he was never been in a home. He was in a kill shelter and was being fed with that disgusting Pedigree. He was eating six cups a day. We're supposed to give the new dog a pet food that's mix half and a half so he could get used to the Canidae. But the new dog took one sniff of the other dogs’ food and wouldn’t even touch his mixed food. Instead, he went straight to the Canidae and now he only eats three cups a day of the Canidae. We’re completely satisfied with the dogs’ health and nutrition and we'll recommend Canidae.
We are so glad your rescue dogs are doing so well on CANIDAE. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with everyone.

I have a five year old German Shepherd, which is about 90 pounds, and then a six year old Labrador, which is approximately 50 pounds. When I went to the vet, my dog was experiencing stomach issues with the regular dog food that was out there on the market. The vet then recommended Canidae out in Mountain Valley, California and so I went there. I love it because it has been recommended and I've been purchasing it for my pets for three years now. I feed my dogs Life Stages because we ended up having Yorkies later on and they like the food. I also wanted to just purchase one dog food that would suffice for all the animals. Every time I serve it, they’re more than willing to eat it. There’s never tipping of the bowl like they didn’t like it.
Also, I take them in for their check-ups annually and there’s never been an issue, weight-wise or health-wise. I’ve tried the other major brands and they tend to tip the bowls over or they’ve gained weight. Both the German Shepherd and the Labrador had put on weight with the cheaper food and it wasn’t good for us. I’m a first pet owner, so feeding my pets natural ingredients is the most important on my list of priorities for my pets. Canidae is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The biggest teller I use is how little stool they have and the health of their coat. Also, German Shepherds have sensitive guts, but they have never been sick. It's been great for my dogs' health. But, the food doesn't have glucosamine chondroitin. There are other foods with it and we thought about switching, but Canidae has everything else that we need. So we just give them a supplement of glucosamine.
Hi Layton,
Thank you for your review. We are very happy your GSD's are doing so well with CANIDAE. We do not add supplemental glucosamine and chondroitin but rather rely on the amounts that naturally occur in our selection of premium ingredients. We were previously using Whole Earth grain free dog food and had good luck with that. One day in Petco, they thought we might want to try Under the Sun by Canidae. So we did and the dogs seemed to well on it. We have been feeding it to them for months now. All of the sudden all 3 of our dogs (2 cocker spaniels and a Lhasa apso) began vomiting hours after eating it. At first I thought it might just be a virus or upset stomach, so I fed them rice and some chicken like my vet says to do. They all seemed to be doing better, so I slowly put them back to eating Under the Sun. They all started vomiting again.
I had some samples of other Purina dog food that I had received at a promotional event at the St. Louis Cardinal's Pooches in the Park night. Although I am not a huge Purina fan, I thought since I had it, I would see how they did. Hmm, no vomiting. Tried another sample of another Purina food. No vomiting. Went back to Under the Sun, vomiting started again. So I thought maybe I just had a bad bag.
We went back to Petco to let them know. They said maybe it was because we bought the kind with the fish in it and that can sometimes upset a dogs stomach. So we went back and bought another bag, but went back to the chicken that we normally bought. After 3 days, they are vomiting again!!! Had 2 sample bags of regular old Purina Dog Chow left. Have given them the dog chow for the last 2 feedings. No vomiting. Sigh. I give up. Going to Petco tonight on my way home to pick up a small bag of Whole Earth and see if they are ok going back on that again. Pretty disappointing.

I have been feeding my dogs with Canidae Pet Foods for eight years now. I had a yellow Labrador named Neighbor then I also had two of his sons named Hank and Monk and Neighbor has since passed away. These two dogs are going to be 12 this year. Monk eats pretty much anything, but Hank is pretty finicky and I have to alternate his food every couple of months. He was good with Bison, but he burned out on it. Then he did pretty well with Lamb and Chicken and he did with Duck for a little while as well.
Since the dogs are a little older, we were looking at the protein content. One of them has health issues too. Canidae's Life Stages had other ingredients that were superior to other stuff that we saw. My dogs are a part of the family so I want to give them the best things I can. Feeding them with natural ingredients is invaluable. They liked Canidae, they do really well on it and digest it great. They've never been overweight and they keep a nice healthy weight on them. They're really active too. Canidae has always been a really good food for us.

I've been feeding dogs that range from an Akita to Pomeranians and Chihuahuas with Canidae for six years. We started on it right when it first came out in the market. We just looked for a change. We free-feed the dogs and it has worked for them for all ages. When they were tiny puppies, we got them puppy food. I currently have a Pomeranian that is a year-and-a-half old, a Yorkshire-West Highland Cross Terrier that's about a few months older than the Pom, a two-year-old and a six-year-old standard poodle, and a five-year-old large Australian Shepherd. Feeding them with natural ingredients is important and it's better than the processed stuff. Their coats look good and shiny. They're healthy and they've got a lot of energy. They're active dogs so they're in good shape. In fact, those that I've lost, it was due to old age. Overall, Canidae is a good product so I stick with them.

I've been purchasing Canidae Pet Foods for 10 years now. The pet store recommended it plus they had a rewards program too although the pet store stopped doing the rewards program because they said Canidae had stopped doing it. One of the pets was a senior and I wanted to reduce the calories so we preferred having the Life Stages Canidae product. We have Frankie, a Border Collie mix that's he's nine. Lilly, who just recently passed away, was 12 and 1/2, also a Border Collie. With Canidae, I hope that it gives our dog what he's supposed to be getting. Overall, the experience with Canidae has been great.

I bought my cats the Canidae Grain Free Pure Sea in particular because the protein base was fish and not red meat or poultry and it made it a lot easier. I've been using it for my pets for a couple of years but then I switched over to Solid Gold which has a few more ingredients. The quality of the two was on the same level. It’s just that I was able to save a few dollars with the Solid Gold.

I looked at the different dog food at our feed store, and I liked the ingredients of Canidae. I was going to get a different one in the beginning, but then I saw the All Life Stages. It was in a bigger bag at the store I go to, and it wasn't incredibly expensive like some foods. I gave it a try and it worked out. It seems to agree with my dogs and they like it. We have three dogs at the house, an Akita, a mutt from the pound, and a Peekapoo, and all three of them eat it. I'm on my fourth Akita and they've all had skin problems, but I don't have skin problems with this dog food, so that's awesome. She's got the best hair out of all the Akitas I've ever had. I've been feeding my dogs with Canidae's All Life Stages for almost two years and continue to buy it.

I've been purchasing Canidae for my Boston Terrier for six years now. After it was suggested to me, I did my research, and my dog stuck with it. We have tried their other products, but we usually stick with Life Stages. He’s super sensitive with what he comes across internally and externally, and Canidae is the one thing that I know that is actually balanced for him. He doesn't have any kind of food allergies, any skin irritations, and on top of that, his breath and his teeth are really well and he's about to turn seven. He even has a better diet than me. I don’t really go to Pet Smart or the big pet stores. In smaller ones, everybody’s in tune with what’s going on with Canidae. So, if ever there’s any contamination or some kind of weirdness going on with the food, I’m able to go to my pet store and they already are able to have that information directly from Canidae. I like that they keep people informed of what’s going on. It's an amazing experience overall.

Canidae is the food of choice of a breeder that we bought one of our dogs from. We've been purchasing it for more than 10 years back when my Vizsla and English Pointer were alive, and for another Vizsla we have now which is two and a half years old. The pure lamb or bison variety have the fewest ingredients. We are fitness freaks and we care about what we put in our bodies, and the same should be true of our pets. We appreciate the brand and what they stand for. We love the introduction of another line that was all grain-free and had reduced ingredients. It's what we use now. We hope Canidae keeps doing what they're doing. We're happy customers.

He has been on Canidae for about a month and his digestion and energy seem great. He is a happy customer so far. However, I’ve noticed lately in the last 3 times I purchased a 30-pound bag that there are about 2 cups of crumbles. It’s not the whole pieces. I’d pour the food into another container, so it doesn’t go bad, and use a strainer to pour the food through because there’s so much crumbled food. Then once I was all done, there’ll be a little food left at the bottom of the container.

I wanted something better than the basic Pedigree stuff so I’ve been giving them Canidae for about 10 years. I fed them All Stages, then I tried the Senior. But when I had younger dogs, I went back to All Stages, which is what I'm feeding them now and it is working out for the age of the group. It gives me a peace of mind knowing that I'm getting something that comes from a better source to have better ingredients. They live happily, they’re shining, and they don’t have any problems that aren’t simply old dog-related. Everything's been good and I would recommend Canidae.

It is very valuable for me to feed my pets natural ingredients. I hear stories all the time on the news regarding dog food that either made the dogs sick or unhealthy. That’s something that I took into consideration when finding new food for the dogs.
I have two great dogs—one is a seven-year-old Australian Shepherd that’s around 60 pounds and the other is a Pit Bull mix which is under 50 pounds. I switch their Canidae dog food up with the different flavors every now and then to see how the dogs would react to them. After I’ve made the change to Canidae, there have been good changes in my dogs. Their coat looks better than how it used to. Also, when they need to go outside to do their business, it’s completely different. Canidae is better than what I’ve been using and I’d recommend them.

I was trying to find a really good food for my 5-yo Dalmatian because some dogs don’t like grain - they like more meat. I looked up online for a dog food that consisted of mainly all-meat and I saw that it was Canidae. My Dalmatian tends to like the all-meat and it helps with her digestive system. I get the chicken, duck and the salmon. I mix it up and also buy a different kind each time. You get different flavors and it’s healthy for the dogs. Natural ingredients are very valuable because the more nutrients, the more they get control of their life too instead of feeding them like Kibbles 'n Bits. I’m not going to feed them Kibbles 'n Bits and then have them not live as long because I’ve known people who feed the right kind of dog food and they can actually extend their life a little bit longer too.

I have a chocolate labradoodle who's gonna be 10 in August. With the vets and the staff at the clinic, we all liked Canidae for our animals and I purchased it for eight years until it was discontinued in the pet supermarket where I shop at. I liked that I could buy Canidae and cut off the UPC code and save them. I could buy 12 and get 1 free and that was awesome because it's expensive.
It was a better product choice for my dog. It was grain-free and corn-free, and my understanding is that the less grain you feed, the more years you add on to your dog’s life. The ingredients are 100% important and that’s why I chose Canidae. But my dog has a sensitive stomach and she used to throw up every now and then. Now that I've switched to Blue Buffalo grain-free, she throws up a lot less. I'm paying more for Blue Buffalo, but I don't really look at price when it comes to my dog. I just have to do it. I would still probably be feeding her with Canidae if it wasn’t for the store discontinuing the product. Blue Buffalo was the next best thing there.

I've been buying Canidae for my pet for two years now and mostly because of the ingredients and smaller-sized kibble. I have a three-year-old English Bulldog. She's super tiny and was born with a birth defect. She is really like the size of a Frenchie, and I needed smaller kibble for her because she has a lot of health issues for being born different. She was born without a butthole, and so we had to build her one. I purchased the Life Stages product of Canidae because Bulldogs have a lot of allergies. I was staying away from the grains and away from any of the fowl so I only feed that kind of dog food product to my other dogs as well.
I love the Canidae dog food, otherwise I wouldn’t feed it to my pets. I feed two different dog foods. I feed another brand as well. One of my dogs did not like the other food, so I switched her to the Canidae that my other dog is on, and she loves it. They’re happy with the food and it’s really important that it's been keeping them healthy and maintaining their weight. I don’t have problems with tear stains, allergies, and with a lot of the common things where they'll see happening with other dogs that are reacting to a dog food and owners not understanding what it is.
I recently found out that Canidae does offer a program that when I buy 11 or 12 bags, I get one free. They also have the breeder and the rescue group program that I was just told about and that I’m going to get involved with. It’s super helpful to me because I have nine dogs at my house, just feeding that many is a lot. It's helpful now that I can pass on the information to other potential adopters and say that they have this program if other people want to buy their food. Not all dog foods have that so that’s important to me.
Hi Tami,
We are very glad to hear how well your Old English Bulldog is doing on CANIDAE and that your other dogs love it to. Thank you for your support and for referring potential customers to CANIDAE as well.

I started raising my dog on Canidae and then I ended up getting a couple more dogs so I couldn't really afford to feed all of them Canidae so I switched out to Pedigree and he started losing weight and his coat started getting dingy. Also, I could tell, that he was nowhere near as healthy within a couple of months and so I switched back to Canidae despite the fact that it costs a little bit more. I've been purchasing them for the last four years and I now have three great, shiny-coated big mutts that are happy and well-fed.
It made rational sense that something that's good for dogs should be good for dogs whatever age they are. I went with the All Life Stages formula because I had a dog that was quite a bit older. The oldest one is four years old and the other ones are three, and they're big and young enough to be jumping around and doing all kinds of stuff. So with that many dogs, I had to feed a lot and Life Stages was the one they had in the 44-pound sacks. It's almost $200 dog food a month and I can hand in the twelve proofs of purchase and get a sack, which cuts almost 10%. Also, A friend of mine, who takes care of them when I work out of town, thought that it's a lot of money on dog food, but he watched them come into better health with them and was sold on that. So, I'm happy to see they can keep my pets healthy and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.

I don't have to give him two cups and I go by her weight and the chart on the bag. The chart feels all right and she doesn't seem to be hungry. I normally use the duck and the bison. I'm not crazy about the fish one because it is smelly. I buy at Main Stream Pets and the guy who's there, Scott, is really knowledgeable and I trust him. I also definitely like the fact that I buy 12 bags and I get the next one free. I went into a local, small pet store when I first got my rescue dog and told the lady there which pet food they sent with him. She said not to use that. She looked them up online and said that Canidae is one of the best. I live in a fairly rural area so I had to make sure I could get it and when I found out that I could then I went with it.
I've been purchasing the All Life Stages Formula for two years and it was due to its availability. They appear to be natural and have some of the better ingredients in them. I also give him food that I make myself. He had a series of bladder problems and the doctor discovered that he was too base. He needed to be a little more alkaline. So, I make him some food with blueberries in it. He then gets a mixture.
Feeding our pets with natural ingredients is very important. I had a little Shih Tzu that had a lot of medical problems and I cooked her food for 10 years. It's as important as it is for us. The pets these days have a lot more problems and cancers. It maybe from the things that are in our environment and the food. Given that, I've recommended Canidae.

When I moved to where I live now, the dog that I had at the time did not react very well. I started her on good foods and then she did well, better in the last years of her life than the years before that. I really think that food makes a difference. The staff at the store recommended Canidae so I purchased it. The dog I currently have is older but she's doing okay with the help from the vet and good food. I get Canidae's lamb and rice product for my pet as well as their chicken and rice product. I think that eating Canidae with natural ingredients contributes to my dog's wellbeing.

I’ve been feeding my mixed breed dog with All Life Stages Canidae. It was the recommendation and the choice at our local dog food store. It is very valuable to feed my pet natural ingredients. My dog is a happy dog, has a nice coat because of his food and has very few (if any) health related issues. I like that you get a free bag when you buy 12 bags. In the 9 years that I’ve been purchasing Canidae, the quality is consistent and has evidently an appealing taste that the dog is always hungry for it.

I've been purchasing Canidae food for my pet for 10 years. From my research, I found that the ingredients they used were more of what I was looking for and were even more compatible for our pet than other brands. My pet is a black Lab and she is 10 and a half years old. I feed her All Life Stages. I thought it would work well with our dog, plus it's the one that our local store carries because the store owner likes it as well and I don't have to go out to order it. It worked out perfect for us.
It's very valuable to feeding my pet natural ingredients. My next search is for food for cats that have urinary problems and I need to know if Canidae sells this product because we have a cat with that problem. I love Canidae and I'm happy with them. I'm a big fan of theirs. I recommend them to everybody, so I'm also a big advertiser for them.

Feeding my pets natural ingredients is very valuable. Even the pet store that we use has natural pet food basically and everything made in America. They are the ones that recommended me to switch to Canidae five years ago. I was using Apex before that but they went out of business. I have two Shih Tzu dogs. They were my grandmother's and I inherited them when she passed away. They are Sobee and Krissy, 11 and 12, and they have severe food allergies. They eat the one that's grain free limited ingredient made with fresh duck and it definitely helps with the allergies.
Actually, all of my dogs are on it now, even our foster dog. They just have a different variety. My senior dog has really bad arthritis and he recently tore his ACL. So, he's on platinum and that adds stuff to the joints and that helps them get around better. And then, the foster one eats the regular Life Stages. I always have a foster dog and they just trade him now. But we have one for over a year and a half and he had been about to die from being starved. The vet said that he was the skinniest dog he'd ever seen that was still alive and the Canidae helped him come back. He gained 50 pounds in a year. Canidae is really healthy for them. They don't itch at all, no skin issues, and no diarrhea or bowel problems. It's the best food I've ever had them on.
I also love the fact that at our pet store, for the 12th bag that you buy, it's free. Because my older dog food is $50 a bag and most of the higher end dog food are at that same price or higher. So, it's definitely beneficial. That's pretty good. Obviously, it will be cheaper for me if it was cheaper but I know it's not good for my dog so, I just pay for it. This is what I recommend to everyone because no matter what kind of dog you have or what kind of problems they have, Canidae has a food that will be good for them.

My older dog was 14 when he started on Canidae and I've been buying it since then. I also have a 10-year-old Boston Terrier and a one-year-old Lab who are still on Canidae and I've been giving them the Grain Free. I had problems with my first Lab when his anal glands got infected and I had to switch to Grain Free as the vet recommended. I used to take my dog in every three months to get his glands cleaned out. But since I did the Grain Free, it's now about six to seven months. My only comment is that they increased the price but reduced the size of the bag. Instead of a 50-pound, it went down to a 40-pound and the pricing went up, and I thought that was kind of odd. But other than that, my dogs seem healthy and there weren't any serious illnesses with any of them.

I've been purchasing Canidae Pet Foods for more than five years. We've had dogs and we've had dog food over the years that have developed allergies or hot spots, so it was recommended by the place where I buy it from. It's not a bulk food so my Great Dane would go to the restroom less. He has no issues with it, that's why we continue to use it. They should continue their promotion of using UPC codes and you can to get a free bag, and also to keep the pricing affordable, especially with a large dog.

I've purchased Canidae for my dog since she was born and she likes it in small bites. When I first bought it six years ago, I looked at the ingredients and it was better. It has less ingredients but more of the flavor of the dog food because I heard that the more ingredient, the worse it is for the dog. And when I called for coupons, they sent them all right away. The only problem is the pricing. The price was right back in the day but it just got more expensive. Some stores charge you $65 and then some stores will charge you $45 for the dog food. And then, I have to drive pretty far away to get it for $45. So I changed over to another brand just to try it. I just picked it up and it has the same exact ingredients with Canidae. And the price was $8 cheaper and that's with a coupon. But overall, Canidae is a good name and product.

My 9-year-old Shih Tzu Sassy has a lot of skin allergies. I tried a couple of big name brands and none of those helped her. Then I found Canidae by chance and after reading the label and ingredients, I decided to purchase the dry food Life Stages. It's in a green and gold bag and I mix that around with the canned good. As soon as I put her on this, she stopped scratching, the sores went away and she's been great for five years.
It is the only food that was really suitable for her condition and actually cleared her up. It also contributed to her overall general health, her bone structure, teeth and just her healthy condition. Every time she goes to the vet, she has an excellent report card. It's a very excellent product and I like the quality. I would have gotten it sooner if there's been a little more advertising. It's been an excellent and ongoing experience and it's extended the life of my dog.

We've had a dog for about seven years and he was on Canidae. It was the best quality dog food without breaking my dollar especially with the buy 12 get 1 free. He was an 80-pound dog so I had to get the big bag. Then we adopted a new dog and he liked Canidae. His coat looks great and I love him on the food but unfortunately, we can't have him on it. He had some allergies so we had to switch to the lamb. The original has chicken in it and the chicken may be an allergenic form. Nonetheless, I'm very happy with Canidae though the packaging is a bit finicky sometimes.

I have a 65 pound American Staffordshire Terrier and a pug. Canidae was recommended by a friend and I’ve been purchasing Canidae food for my pets for six years now. They both eat the regular adult Canidae because it comes in the biggest bag and it’s the most economical one. I would prefer to buy the grain-free but it costs double so we don’t buy that. Although it is valuable to feed my pets natural ingredients, I have two human children in my house so the dogs are not gonna get the best if it comes down to a choice between if I can afford to feed my children or I can afford to feed the dogs. Nonetheless, I like that I get the 13th bag free after buying 12 and I appreciate that whether that's through Canidae or through my local pet store.

It's extremely important to me that I'm feeding my pets natural ingredients, and the less ingredients they have, the better off. I was using Purina Pro Plan and still am part of their breeder program, but they made some formula changes and I didn't like that. Also, Purina Pro Plan was using a lot of chicken and there's been studies showing that there are a lot of dogs that are allergic to it. I have one little girl here who had allergy issues that occurred about five years ago. I had to change her food three times and I eliminated chicken which seemed to help. So I was looking for another very good quality grain-free food that didn't have recalls on their list and that brought me to the Canidae Pure Land and Pure Sky kibble. And once in a while I pick up a bag of Pure Elements.
I give them to my Miniature Smooth Dachshunds and one Labrador. They range from age one to 14 and a half. I wanted to maintain their health and the stool quality that I had going on with Purina Pro Plan before they changed things. But I don't feed them strictly Canidae Pure Land and Pure Sky. I mix them together with a couple others. I also mix their Sky kibble with Honest Kitchen because of the need for lower Sodium and lower fat content for a couple of my older dogs. But my Lab is completely on the Sky. There's a new Canidae line that usually is grain-free and they sent me coupons for them. But I have not been able to locate them very easily. It's pointless to have coupons that I can't use to even try the products.
Hi Cris,
Thank you for your feedback! We're happy to hear that your pups are doing well on Pure Sky, Land and Elements! As for the Under the Sun coupons, you can find it in Petco or online, or you can ask your local independent store to special order a bag for you if they don't yet stock it:)

I had a Collie before and a cat and I bought another dog from the lady that breeds Collies. He is only 14 weeks old and I buy Life Stages. Right now, I get the hard dog food and the can and I mix them a little bit for my puppy. I also give the Life Stages in a greenish color bag to my cat who I've had for about 10 years. I like the fact that Canidae has all the different ingredients in it, including chicken and lamb.
The breeder has had her dogs on the Canidae for a really, really, really long time and she recommends Life Stages to anybody who buys her dogs. If you're going to a new bag, it will show the multi-protein on there. Eating that type of food, the dogs will go to the bathroom a couple of times a day but they go to the bathroom better. It's more solid and there's a better color to it. It sounds crazy but it's the truth. Give dogs junk food, not good dog food, and they’re gonna have the runs. With Canidae, they don't. You can tell it's so much better for them. It's a good and healthy dog food. Unless the dogs get sick or something happens to them, they are gonna live longer if they eat healthy food with nutrients.
When I joined up on Canidae, I get emails and I like that. I can print off coupons. One time, they sent it to me and for some reason we couldn't get it through the email and I was waiting on it while I called them up and they were very cooperative. They were sorry that that happened and they sent me some coupons. And one time our representative from Canidae was in the Family Pet warehouse where I buy the pet food from. They were giving $10 coupons, which was fantastic. Plus they got these green things and for every 12 you buy, you get one free. That's very nice because I buy the Canidae treats, the Canidae wet and the dry foods, and any time you can save a couple of bucks, I'm all for it. They got excellent customer service. I’ve been buying Canidae for about eight years, and when I talk to people who have dogs, like my son who has a couple, I highly recommend it.

We adopted our dog, Max, in Feb. 2016. He's a small Jackhuahua. The day we adopted him we were unsure of which food to put him on. In the shelter they started giving him Merrick so we decided to try it, although he was only in there for 1.5 days before we got him. Max didn't seem to care that much for the food. He also had some issues with Lyme vaccine & was constantly scratching, licking etc. Therefore our vet had put him on a prescription diet, Hill's hypoallergenic food. Again, he barely ate bit when we made ground beef with rice. He would scarf it up. Months passed & we were still on Hill's. We stumbled across someone whom suggested we try Canidae grain free PURE line instead of Blue Buffalo as we were contemplating which would be better overall for our little guy. We gave the Canidae a try. We purchased the one with bison just because it seemed like it'd be a tastier meal for him.
Upon the first try of giving it to him, he literally cleaned his dish! He enjoyed every little morsel. As of my writing this he has been on the Canidae for about 7.5 months. We have yet to try the duck, salmon, lamb & wild boar ones but the salmon is on our list to purchase next and try to switch the flavors/proteins up. We originally wanted the wild boar but our stores that sold Canidae did not have it in stock. A small bag goes a long way with him because he is 8 lbs. Also, he has less poop which has firmed up more, and not too smelly. It also does not have corn, soy or wheat in it but does have vitamins & minerals added. Max also isn't shedding as much and has actually had hair growing in certain spots that were practically bald.
Overall, I highly recommend the Canidae Grain Free PURE line (any flavor!) I am very happy we gave it a try as I'm sure our Max would say the same. It is a bit more costly but overall the benefits are so good for your furbaby plus they don't need that much of it - depending on the size of your pet too of course. One other thing I've noticed, which was one thing I did check out before purchasing was if there were any recalls etc and there were none and have been none since we've been using It. I believe the last recall we've seen was from early 2012 or 2013 and was voluntary. Give it a try! If your furbaby doesn't like it or you notice it's not the thing for him/her, depending on where you purchase it, you can return & either get refund or exchange it. I've purchased mine at our local Petco since PetSmart doesn't carry it.

It's extremely valuable that we feed them natural ingredients and I mix Canidae in with dry food which they like. We haven't had any problem at all. We had another older dog who is still alive, a Mastiff, who started dealing with some thyroid issues. I give her Canidae in addition to her Kibble and I try to keep her on that. I continue to buy Canidae for her.
It’s been a good experience overall. However, Canidae has gotten a little expensive for us so I haven't been able to buy as much of it. I would buy 10 of it at a time then I would save those little tags on the top. If I could get a good deal, I’d be happy. I love the food, but we have to reserve it for the dogs that really need it. Otherwise, I’d recommend Canidae. It's healthy, beneficial, and easy.

I'm fine with the food, but at times we've had stretches where it's not been available, where the factory had been making other foods and we couldn't get the Platinum. So, at such times, I ended up giving our dog the regular Canidae rather than the Platinum cans.

I have a blue Great Dane, which is a rare breed of Great Danes, and they need a specific diet. And after all my research, Canidae seemed to be the best option both for my Dane and for my Lab. The Life Stages was the one that was recommended to me over the others simply because one of my dogs eats so quickly. With the smaller nibbles, they eat slower. With Canidae, my dogs' coats and activity levels are phenomenal. They're beautiful dogs since I switched over to Canidae. It's good stuff. I have recommended several friends to Canidae.

Canidae is the only food that our dog doesn’t throw up on. Our dog is 11 years old, and we've been purchasing it for 9 years now. Initially, the veterinarian said we couldn’t just get a lot of the filler stuff, so we had to have something with a little more body to it, and she doesn’t need to eat as much of it. That's why we went with Canidae. Our dog is a Border Collie, and she's got a soft stomach.

We used to use Natural Selection, but my older dog started reacting to meat and my younger dog is allergic to meat, grain and all kinds of stuff. The younger dog's belly would get hives and her eyes would be all red. However, we heard that fish, grain-free food was good for dogs with allergies. And so, we decided to purchase Canidae. We find feeding our pet natural ingredients to be really valuable. Since switching her food to Canidae, we haven't had those problems. Everything has been great and beneficial, and I tell everybody about Canidae.

We started our Weimaraner dog on Canidae's Puppy formula and now she's on All Stages. So we've been purchasing Canidae food for almost 3 years now. It keeps her coat nice and shiny, and she doesn't lose hair. It also keeps her weight maintained. The price is good, although I wish that they did more of a grain-free because she is a hunting breed and I'd like something with a little bit more protein. But still, we've been happy with it. I like the program that we are offered in our local feed supply store wherein we get so many and then get one for free. That's a wonderful program. I feel that, as a company, they care about their customers which is nice to see. Overall, we've been pleased with the purchase and we'll continue to use it.

I've been purchasing Canidae food for my pet for about six years now. We stated our dogs, even the older ones, on All Life Stages, and then we kept them on that. It's valuable to feed my dogs with food having natural ingredients. So I'd recommend Canidae.

I've been purchasing Canidae for my pets for nine years because of the quality of the dog food. We have two dogs, Skylar and Beauford. One is a Husky - German Shepherd mix and the other is a Lab - Pitbull mix. They're going on nine, so we started them on Canidae. We purchased Life Stages because it works on puppies and then all the way up as they age. We'll change to Senior once they get to that age. It's important to feed my pets with natural ingredients. Their joints are a lot healthier from eating Canidae food. That was also one of the reasons why we chose that brand. It has one of the joint boosters as an ingredient. Overall, they've got great food that keeps the dogs healthy.

I have been buying Canidae for my service dog for about 6 years now. He's very active and loves the food. He's a Golden Retriever and was young when I put him on Canidae. He seems to enjoy it so I just didn't wanna change it. Also, I like the nutritional listing on it and that it's grain-free. It's important to feed him nutritious food and Canidae is a very good food.

I've been purchasing Canidae natural pet food for my dog for 10 years. I had two dogs who had allergies and that food seemed to agree with them the best. I've purchased Life Stages because of the less protein in it for older dogs. Our dog keeps it down and seems to be doing okay so I like the pet food a lot. However, it's not available in all places and I have to go to a grain and feeds store a few miles away from my house so maybe I should look online to see if there’s any other sources that I could buy locally. The Canidae food is very expensive too and higher than the other brands out there. Other than that, it’s a very reliable and good product.
