VISTAPRINT SENT ME A PROMO CODE FOR 500 BUSINESS CARDS - $9.99. I went thru all the pages to create the cards. But there was no page telling me shipping cost. Shipping cost was added at the end, when I attempted to use PayPal. Shipping was $18.00 for a small box of 500 business cards. So if they don't make profit on the $9.99 deal? They will make it up in Shipping costs. Deceiving the public into thinking they got a deal. Even I can ship that small little box for less than $6.00. Imagine the discount Vistaprint gets for bulk shipping.

My wife, when ordering business cards, according to Vistaprint, must have a clicked a box. Therefore they took 4.99 each month for nothing. After 6 months I noticed the monthly withdrawal and called them. They were very apologetic and said they would refund all 6 withdrawals they had taken. Instead, as they had my debit card number, they not only kept what they had already taken, they took another 6 months payments. Now why do I complain? I am 73 years old and live on social security, therefore the 59.88 they took is important.

I paid approximately 80.00 for business cards, holder, mouse pad, and address labels. The products were delivered promptly. HOWEVER, all information was INCORRECT ie: name of business, mouse pad had my picture on it, where they received this picture is a mystery to me, as I did not provide it! THE SLOGAN ON THE MOUSE PAD WAS WEIRD, AS I DID NOT PROVIDE A SLOGAN. The business cards were the incorrect color, and the address labels were so jumbled, you could not use them! I could not find a place on their website to complain to.. other than a chat line. While chatting with this person, it was apparent that ENGLISH WAS NOT THEIR FIRST LANGUAGE, however, after patiently describing my issues, I was sent MORE USELESS STUFF.. I.E. ANOTHER MOUSE PAD WITH MORE CRAP ON IT. Again I tried to chat with someone on their chat line and all I got was KOREAN MUMBLE JUMBLE.. hmm again I sent an email and guess what? THEY NEVER REPLIED.. WOW, PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS CRAPPY COMPANY.. VISTAPRINT.CA OR VISTAPRINT.COM.

A year ago, I placed an order for 1,000 business cards and I was thrilled with the price, quality of the cards and the delivery which was fast and in my mailbox. Time to order new cards... Same cards, quantity and address. After two weeks, my cards had not arrived so I checked the tracking. My package arrived in the nearest city (I live in a rural area) and WAS SENT BACK! I emailed customer service, got a reply within the promised 24 hours and was advised that my order would be sent again. I promptly got an email with new tracking information. Expected delivery date was bumped up daily for 5 days while sitting in my home city. I finally called the shipper and they weren't able to give an explanation but to speed things up, I offered to pick up at the depot in the city. UPS customer service was awesome and I picked up my order the next day.

I was very disappointed when I opened the box. My cards looked terrible. They looked cheap and the colour was off and the resolution was grainy even on a bar of solid colour. I have a photo on my card and it was reddish and very unflattering. The ink was different as well. It was shiny in places but the cards were ordered matte. In comparison, the quality of my first order was about 9 and this order is about a 2. I paid via PayPal so I have opened a dispute and I will wait and see how they respond. I have asked for a refund and I will update accordingly.

I like their products but if you're a small business trying to use their products to resale, it's a nightmare and I would suggest to you to stay away.. The problem is that one time you could pay...let's say you pay $5.99 for a set of 10 photo magnets and when you want to do a reorder, the price has gone to $5.99 each. So every time that I have wanted to reorder something, I pay a higher price than I original paid, so I can not establish a resale price, it's always changing. I think they need to work out a plan that works for small business so they know exactly what each item will cost each time they order. I am very disappointed in them.

I had the misfortune of using this company and now have to deal with the results. I have a set of business cards that are now useless to me as a designer, as the print quality is poor, the paper quality is poor, the colors are washed out and there is a white line across the bottom of the card where Vistaprint have failed to cut the card correctly. I cannot give these cards out as no one in their right mind would take my business seriously if I did. This is the type of quality you expect from primary school children on one of their "design a business card" projects. If anyone from their company reads this, can you do anything right?

Do not give Vistaprint a visa debit card. I made an online purchase and made an error while submitting my order. Vistaprint processed the transaction as a sale immediately and deducted three separate amounts from my account, none of which related to my order. In total I have been charged $285 for a $133 order. I have tried everyday for five days to get the money back. I have emailed, phoned and left messages on Vistaprint's online chat. Two days ago I received an email reply from Vistaprint to say someone would contact me soon to sort it out, still waiting. I contacted my bank as soon as I realized what had happened. They said they couldn't do anything while over the transactions were sitting against my account as outstanding, although I didn't have access to the money. Once the transactions went through as approved, the bank says it will now take seven days to dispute the transactions. The whole time I am still out of pocket the $151 from my savings account. I have been back in touch with Vistaprint today, supposedly a credit has been processed and the money will be returned to my account in the next couple of days. I am hoping this is true.

I was charged $29.09 shipping fee for a $40.00 product (50 color, duo-fold menus). It seems they were printed in the Netherlands. On arrival to Geneva, Switzerland, an additional 24.40 CHF (Swiss Francs) is to be charged at the post office for Customs Duties. Although the $29 paid for shipping was 75% the value of the product, an additional 24.40 CHF (approx $27) was charged for customs. The high shipping fee suggests Incoterms DDP were being used yet they were not since I (the customer) must pay the duty fees. Ultimately total cost will be $96 for a $40 product which I'm sure the $40 also has a margin built in.

Vistaprint appears to augment their profits with unspecific and high shipping and handling fees. After calling customer service to complain, they did agree to credit back half of the original shipping fees or $14.50. I understand I will see this credit to the credit card originally used in the coming days. My fiance will be collecting the shipment in the coming days at which point I hope we are satisfied with the quality of the product (paper quality, color, image quality, correct folding).

Have been a Vistaprint customer for over 10 years, and have ALWAYS gotten top notch customer service. Had to call customer service 3 times in last 6 months, all problems resolved within a few minutes on the phone, and no quibbles. The first was not their fault. UPS ran over the box, and most of the contents were lost. Vistaprint re-did the entire order and shipped within a few days. Last week I received a re-order of my business cards. The color came out a lot more red than orange on the order. I scanned the new card and original card, and they are re-doing the entire order, and I should have the replacement order today or tomorrow. The third call was yesterday. I was having trouble importing a design into a template. Called, the gal put me on hold for a minute, and she had completed it for me. If you have a problem, contact them. They can't fix it if you don't let them know.

My first experience in trying to place an order with Vistaprint has been disastrous. There is a huge disconnect between placing an order and getting advice from their graphics team, to preapprove an order, in reverse order!!!! I 'placed' an order with my own artworks and specifically requested certain points be clarified for approval such as card stock weights, recycled card finish and clear blind raised print effects/finishes on white card. I made it clear in the notes attached with my order to NOT proceed BEFORE clarification and final APPROVAL to print.

I sent two follow up emails to customer service to chase a response. I received a Snap 2-3 preview yesterday - the graphics team had changed fonts, logo scale and off centre placement. I did not approve the preview and sent my critics. Dennis contacted me yesterday, and I forwarded the same information to him regarding my queries and critics. I didn't receive a response overnight. Today I received an email from Vistaprint advising that my cards had shipped! So I called Vistaprint, I got put through to Dennis, he told me he called me yesterday and I had approved Gold for my front logo artwork, and this is what had been approved, printed and shipped. I never had this conversation with Dennis and I don't know who answered my cell and approved Gold for my name cards!

We checked in the system and there it was - one version of name card arts with Gold front logo font, and the other Clear raised print from the Snap 2 - 3 service I had rejected. Dennis removed the gold artwork version from the system. Dennis explained to me, that I had apparently placed an 'approved' order, and paid for the snap service which is TOTALLY separate to the 250 business card order?!?!?!? WTF? All I wanted was for the graphics team to advise on a few points to see if my requests/results would be consistent/possible...to then decide if viable to proceed.

As we went over my queries - it turned out they couldn't do what I wanted and so my order was not viable and I cancelled...I am furious that 250 name cards are on their way to basically be shredded and recycled. The unnecessary waste disgusts me. Then Dennis told me that the gold cards he confirmed earlier in conversation, that 'someone' had approved over the phone yesterday, which were printed and shipped today, were not gold - instead my original black logo artwork!!!!! Dennis issued a full refund, but the waste created is inexcusable.

After redesigning the cards, I phoned Vistaprint to reorder. I was expecting to pay since the issues were from my decisions. To my surprise they totally absorbed the cost of the reorder even though I had authorized the original design. Plus they included expedited shipping for free. Finally, they sort of fixed it - or at least it was semi-acceptable. Now I want to use my credit to print some folding note cards from my own design, premium stock, color - and what do I learn? The Vistaprint web address appears on the back of the card in blue type - exactly where I'd put my own info - and it can't be removed or altered.

The supervisor told me to feel free to find another vendor. He said it's like Hallmark. But it isn't, because you pay Hallmark for the card design and writing and embellishment. I am merely paying Vistaprint to print the darn thing. If someone wanted to keep the customer happy, they could remove the offending web address. Of course it CAN be done, but it WON'T be done. Even the gray color that came with the template we used was too light. Definitely disappointed with our cards. In all fairness, it could have been user error, but there weren't any guidelines or instructions against using these colors and fonts on the website. I ordered free business cards from Vistaprint and was very pleased. I liked the enormous choice of designs and they looked very nice. After being so pleased with the cards, I ordered stickers and inadvertently ordered them with my email address not within the confines of the sticker area. I was extremely happy with the fact that they corrected the error & sent me the stickers. In the meantime, I had ordered a free trial of their email marketing. This way I could send emails that matched my business cards. Their email marketing is very inexpensive. I have a very small clientele and do minimal business which is how I like it, so it was a great fit.

Unfortunately, I am getting what I paid for. I designed my first campaign too late & missed the holiday I was shooting for but now I had a handle on the design part & I loved it. It was not at all like some companies who have boring sterile designs but as I prepared to send out the campaign, I could not get the "Buy Now" button to work. I called & was reassured it was not my error, & they were working on it. I received emails reassuring me they are working on it. Needless to say I missed the second holiday I was shooting for so now, 8 days after I was ready to send my first email campaign, I have received another message saying they are working on it. I am now considering other options & other companies but am not sure what I will ultimately do.

I've made the big mistake of just placing an order for the 100 business cards for $7.50 plus free shipping. It was a huge ordeal to get to the checkout as I had to go through several pages of other stuff I didn't want. When I got to the checkout, I saw that name labels had been added to the order without my permission, for extra money of course. Then there was a button asking to be clicked for the order to be placed without the labels. I clicked it and to my dismay the labels were still there and I was charged for it. Unfortunately I've paid through instant transfer via PayPal and I cannot stop the payment now. I tried to cancel the order through the Vista Print site and I wasn't allowed to. It stated that once and order is placed you cannot cancel. I advise you guys not to trust this deceitful company! It was my fault though. If it's too good to be true it probably is. I stayed up for many hours designing on my first email marketing campaign and entering recipient's email addresses from scratch. I sent the campaign out to 48 contacts and not one single emailed campaign was received. I contacted a Vistaprint customer support agent who stated that they were aware of the problem and was working to correct the issue. This was over a week ago and the issue is still not fixed. I continue to hear an assortment of excuses when I contact Vistaprint; it could take days for the emails to be received, spam filters may prohibit delivery, I entered the email addresses (yes, all 48 of them) incorrectly, etc. Vistaprint refuses to acknowledge that the issue is on their end.

I have read numerous complaints from upset Vistaprint email marketing customers who have experienced this same problem and feel certain that the problem is not because of anything the customer has or has not done. If anyone could suggest a company that has proven to provide competent, reliable email marketing, I would really appreciate their information.

I ordered a notepad for $8.00. There is no clear indication in the VistaPrint website what the size of the notepad is. When I received the notepad, the size is approximately 4" X 4.5". While the notepad has been personalized with my name and has printed design, nothing about it is worth $8.00. It is regular paper with few pieces to a pad. Their mark-up must be 300% of their cost for the pad. Assuming that there are 50 pages (could be fewer), it costs 16 cents for one 4" X 4.5" notepad. The shipping charge at $3.99 for 140 address labels and one notepad is also expensive. The address labels are costly for 140 pieces on regular paper at $10.00. Lesson learned: I should have checked the Consumer Affairs website first before I ordered or shopped around. I see now that there are thousands of complaints against VistaPrint. Do not do business with VistaPrint! Customer satisfaction is quite low.

I got a pop up from American Express for free business cards. Now I'm not naive, I know nothing is ever free but hey I went with it. I ordered the cards then went on to order some address labels (which is what it's all about in the end anyway) and these "bonus" pop ups came up. I clicked on one to see it and decided not to go ahead with it thinking when I closed the tab it would disregard it. Unfortunately when you click on a "bonus" item they automatically bill you for the item even if you don't click a purchase agreement. I will update when and if I get my product on the quality but for now I feel this company is scandalous. Also after customer service refunded my "bonus" purchase the shipping charge went up by $3.00. Good thing I knew I was not getting anything for free or I'd really be upset.

The CSR explained to me the lifespan of the magnetic signage is (on average) 6 months before they begin to fail. Prices are approx. $20/each and having to pay for new signage every 6-12 months is unacceptable to me. If this is normal, why is this fact not included in the product description? What business does not do that? I've never had a misprint on any item and the specials are great. If you have a shopping cart full of free business cards, pens, stationary and stamps, why is 12.00 for shipping that much? As far as the time it takes to receive the order, personalized items always take longer. I have noticed a fair few reviews pertaining to Vistaprint and as with any business there are things that go wrong and customers who aren't happy with the service... However, I am not one of those. I have used Vistaprint repeatedly now for years and for large amounts of promotional material. The one time I had an issue was with a required product taking too long to arrive. The product was vinyl car decals and sadly I misjudged the time frame and contacted Vistaprint and was immediately answered via email and a second vinyl decal set was sent free of charge (all the way from Scandinavia or some such place) at the expense of the company.

To my embarrassment the first package arrive an hour after the return email and Vistaprint were STILL happy to send me the second set gratis. I may be lucky but the odds of me being this lucky with a company so many seem so unhappy with seem to go against what is written elsewhere here. My second and most important message to the readers here is that many of you are not professional designers and probably do not understand that you MUST calibrate your computer screen display to produce images that best represent the colors which Vistaprint will produce, so many are finding their final product darker or muddy.

If you have not calibrated your display screen chances are you are seeing images brighter that they really are. All computers have a basic calibration setting you can do. Rather than blame Vistaprint for darker final prints, make sure what you are seeing on the screen is "real". Try printing out on your home printer a brightly colored and simple picture. Hold it up to your screen and see if there is a difference. Chances are the one on your screen will be brighter... That's because the image on the screen is created with light and not ink. If you calibrate your screen to match the printed picture you will find Vistaprint products no longer come out muddy or dark. I hope that helps someone.

Finally, I have had incredible deals with Vistaprint, and even with postage have saved myself thousands of dollars. I have used their product codes and received exactly what was ordered... Every time... And with the emailed offers of say, $30 vouchers have been able to include the postage and upload price in that order and in fact the final cost was entirely free. I am extremely happy, get sent multiple deals and vouchers and offers regularly and the five or six pages I have to go through to complete checkout is 15 seconds of my time well worth wasted to get these deals. Thank you Vistaprint, so far you have been amazing.

    3 things to noted:

As many others have mentioned in their reviews, the price listed on their website is not accurate. Once you have created your business card (or any products requiring a design work) and choose to checkout, Vistaprint will try to charge you with many extra fees (that was made to believe to be free of charge, or included in the original price), and the shipping quote is just ridiculously high. Some have mentioned the shipping cost to be as high as half the total amount. Note that the website will have discount coupons and codes (25% on most days, sometimes up to 40%) but the site will automatically adjust the price to fit their standard. Once you input the code, the shipping cost will increase, and viola.... you have the exact same amount placed on order. So people...... DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR DISCOUNT CODES!

The proof reading PDF is no use. I ordered total of 9 cards, and 6 of them came with a misprint. Some were minor, others were just simply outrageous. I do not understand why they make us check the proof PDF to find errors, when all they do is go ahead and make errors of their own. The cards I designed are double sided, front with personal info and back with company info. The back info/logo design is identical for all cards. However, as you could see from my picture (the black part is my company name blacked out), the logo is not correctly centered. Some are off to the right, others are to the left. I made these cards through "save as" copy, so they should be identical in position, size, font, etc... but they are not. Again, I have checked the error proof PDF to confirm they are center positioned.

As mentioned, I received many design defects. Each time I contact the customer service, they tell me that Vistaprint will re-print and re-send a new set of cards. That's fine, but I already received two sets of cards with errors. It has already been over a month since the order. I ask for a refund, but they would refuse to give me one. All I get from them is defects after defects....

And the UPS guy said that the shipping was too expensive for the value of the shipping - so Vistaprint even gets money from UPS (which is their only shipping option). How do they get you into this scam funnel - you start by designing your card, which takes time and effort, and once you have done that, you're more likely to accept their additional surcharges for 'Uploading your images' €5.60 (how else can you provide them with your images) and the likes. At the very end, after designating PayPal as payment form, it became clear that the minimum shipping to get the cards in time to send for Christmas (ordered on Dec 2nd, mind you) was $10.95. The whole order was the "special" price of $11.99. Thus the shipping was 96% or essentially doubled the price of the cards. NO Savings! With a Vistaprint website, you get what you pay for. It is VERY un-user friendly. Once you finally get it set up how you want it, it works 'ok.' The text and photo editing functions are archaic. Clunky and slow, like using Microsoft Word back in the early 90's. If you copy and paste, it slams all the words together so you have to go back and re-space, reformat, re-indent and re-punctuate everything. You cannot insert HTML code. The worst part is, if you add a form on your website to sell products or for visitors to contact you, this function goes down all the time. Visitors might be placing orders or sending you emails, but you will not receive them and they are lost forever.

Vistaprint does not alert you when this happens and your customers and visitors have no idea that their orders or messages to you are are not going through, yet you are still being billed by Vistaprint for your website. To my way of thinking I believe it is a crime to charge someone for a service that you are unable to provide.

As a customer of Vistaprint since 2007, there have been a few bumps in the road here and there, especially when calling customer service, but they usually get things corrected... not today! I ordered 3 to 8 page business checks for our business, which in the past, have also come with the option to add deposit tickets. Since I don't order checks but once or twice a year, I don't remember every little step of the ordering process, but rely on Vistaprint's website to guide me through it. Boy was that a mistake...

There was no option for deposit tickets at all. Usually, they want to sell you 800 different add on options when you place an order but with my recent check order, none... no option to order deposit tickets. So I went ahead and placed the order thinking maybe they are automatically included (like I mentioned, it had been a while since I last ordered and the process was a little fuzzy).

Got the check today and no deposit tickets. So I call customer service... The first rep just does not care at all. He tells me sometimes the option pops up (when available from their vendor) and sometimes it does not and that's just the chance you take. Very frustrated by this response. I mention that I guess I will need to order from a different company for our business checks as that is just unacceptable and say, "Well I guess we are done here then since you can't help me" and without any sort of response, he hangs up! RUDE!!!! Enraged, I call back and speak with a "supervisor" by the name of Jason who told me the rep that HUNG UP ON ME also LIED TO ME because the whole "sometimes the option pops up" excuse was BS. But since they can't do deposit tickets as a standalone order, maybe I could contact my bank for them.... Nice.

So we spend THOUSANDS of dollars with Vistaprint and they can't even offer a suitable resolution or even maybe a discount on a future order... only a weak (very weak) apology from a "supervisor" who is probably just a customer service rep that has been there for more than a month. I will have to think long and hard before placing another order with them. At least, there are many other online printing companies that I am sure will welcome our THOUSANDS of dollars in orders. :)

Vistaprint Online Check Printing is the WORST!! Don't use Vistaprint!! I ordered basic checks for my checking account online, TWICE! At first everything seemed to go normally, all of the fields on the online order form filled out and paid with a credit card. A little less than a week later, I received an email confirmation of my order having been SHIPPED, and eagerly awaited the arrival of my checks. After waiting WELL PAST the stated arrival date for my order, I finally got on the phone and contacted their customer service department (3rd world country outsourcing, BTW...!) and after getting bounced around to several different departments, I finally got in touch with one of the people in their "Legal Department", who was able to determine what happened to my checks.

Despite the fact that their online order form fully accepted my order, and printed the checks, there was NO INDICATION that they have a policy regarding shipping to Post Office Boxes. They just won't do it. Vistaprint insists that PO Boxes are "less secure" than street-addresses, and that is their reason. Where I live, our mailboxes are old-fashioned, metal boxes on posts, hundreds of yards away from our houses, and with ZERO security to speak of. For this reason, I have all my mail forwarded (especially important stuff like checks) to my PO Box, which is in a Federally Protected Post Office, with guards, cameras, and of course - locking metal boxes !! You be the judge, is this more or less secure than a mailbox? Regardless of their policy, (which again - was never mentioned within the online ordering forms) Vistaprint NEVER made any effort to contact me, the customer, about my order having any issues. I was forced to find out on my own.

I highly recommend ordering checks through (believe it or not) Walmart ! Yes, Walmart !! They have no problem shipping to PO Boxes (as long as you don't try to use their "expedited-shipping" option) and are actually CHEAPER than Vistaprint. I used Walmart's online ordering system, and got my checks in less time and for less money, and without ever having to speak to a heavily-accented, 3rd world country Call-Center for customer service. Last time, the payment had been received and the order was being processed, and I asked for a change to be made. They said "No problem, though a new order number will be generated; don't worry, your payment will be applied to this order." It was supposed to arrive 8 days ago and, because it hasn't, I called again. Now, I'm hearing that the check bounced??? How could it have been credited to the account, and the order started processing as a result, if a check bounced? I think they failed to apply the $ received to the new order, and now it appears as if I'm out $300 and will have no signs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY -They are awful and the reviews consistently speak to this: horrible service, unknowing employees, and inefficiency reign supreme.

They published my website without my permission, when I had not pressed the "Publish" button and was in the process of adding bits and pieces to it. After all it is not a 3 min job! It got published. I called them from a call box as it costs 20p from my mobile to call their Premium no. They kept me holding for over 30 mins without reassuring me that I had not been cut off. The technician said I had held so long as they were waiting to get hold of a "Technician." Pretty rubbish excuse. I asked why my website had been published and he told me it was because I chose my Domain Name first and did not skip that option. I told him that no where on the site did it warn of that fact that if you chose our domain name, then no matter what stage you were with the website, it would get published. He said it was common knowledge. My website address stated "123 Anywhere!"

You cannot see how much money you have in cr with them as I don't find it clear. I got free return labels but then I was charged, can't see my cred. If you look at a product, it goes into your basket and then they email you to nag you about it expiring!!! The crunch line is that my website is so poor in quality. Should rather have gone to Google in May and paid my money. Works out cheaper!!! I am disgusted with Vista. I don't want an attorney to contact me about my complaint if this will incur further charges for me. Thanks.

Ordered 2 sets of business card - one for myself and the other for my father's business.

    1) Instead of 4, it took 8 days to deliver. But that is OK. It's India, we are used to such broken promises.
    2) 3rd class paper quality and most pathetic printing. A better print can be obtained from my home printer. Very, very highly disappointed!!!!! I ordered one with my own design and uploaded it to their webpage and when I received this, it was pathetic. So I thought maybe my upload quality was poor, but still was upset with the paper quality. Then came the next one, the set which i had ordered from their own templates. This turned out to be even more disgusting. 0 out of 100 point to this company!!
    3) After all purchase decisions, they disclose that there is another cost applicable - DELIVERY CHARGES - which usually amounts to 25% or more of the value of the product.

    4) Just before finalizing the deal, they tell you that you are entitled to receive a free "metal cardholder worth Rs.200" - the quality of which is such that, if a hawker markets that product for Rs.10 and you take it in your hand and open it once, you will be forced to bargain it to Rs5, and then also doubt whether your purchase is sensible or not -- and they make it worth Rs.200.

I am a student from the field of marketing and I understand the concept of it completely. But there is a fine gap between marketing your products and cheating!!!! Regretting to say, but Vistaprint is a cheater!!

I've ordered numerous products from Vistaprint and had always been happy. With my last order, I received a card for 25% off my next order. I thought what a nice way to reward returning customers. I placed my order on the regular site at first - thinking I would put the discount code in at the end during check out. It wasn't an option so I went back to the card and saw the URL that I needed to go to for my discount. I put in the EXACT SAME order and when my "25%" discount was applied I owed $14.14 MORE for the order with my "discount".

I compared the orders side by side and Vistaprint raised the prices on all the different options - INCLUDING shipping which shouldn't cost more - and then took the measly 25% off the order. Making me think I received a great deal for being a loyal customer - when instead they marked up the price, took the discount off and charged me MORE for the SAME EXACT order. I will never use their services again. What a shady way to do business.

While I am not happy with the map on the back (it's way too small), the rest of the order was just fine. Since the first order, I have edited the cards and ordered more of them and the labels. My son also ordered the 4" x 8" glossy "cards" (the size of a brochure but just two sides) and they turned out just fine. I haven't had any problems with mysterious charges (although I will keep checking my statements) but I do get sick of page after page of "as long as you're ordering, how about ordering this?" If I wanted pens or key changes or whatever, I would order them. You don't need to shove it down my throat.

I am a franchise business owner and reluctantly have to deal with Vistaprint for my business cards and flyers. First off... The website is not user-friendly. Having to go through all their sales pitches, "offers", online marketing, and many other items just to get to the checkout is frustrating. I have ordered from Vistaprint on several occasions. While the printing is great, the service is horrible. I called to voice my option and have been given a "survey" that has never been answered. Today I ordered business cards and when asked what type of business card stock I wanted, it gave me the Premier Gloss option for FREE. I ordered 5 different cards all the same style with different names on them. When I got to the checkout I found that the prices were $15.00 different than what was offered on three of the 5 cards I ordered.

I called and was told that this is a special offer and that I ordered more than what was allowed. I explained that there was no disclaimer and the system allowed me to choose the FREE upgrade. It allows you to purchase at full price and throws in some numbers that are crossed out, then new numbers entered but the balance on the account is $15.00 more than what is quoted. I am writing to make sure people that order from Vistaprint ensure their statement is correct. Vistaprint has no intention of fixing this. This is a VERY deceptive practice. I was offered another survey for my trouble. RIGHT!

First, let me say that Vistaprint has some of the best prices, on the web, locally, regionally, for printed products. However, they "sneak" in extras on your order page by adding buttons whereby, if you click the wrong button, you have extra items in your cart when you check out and, at this stage in the ordering process, they can't be removed unless you call Vistaprint. Additionally, if changes ever need to be made on an existing order, it must be canceled (over the phone) and a new order must be created. Because my order was for a college district, every time a new order number is assigned, a new payment form needs to be created on my end and a new check needs to be issued. Specific to my situation? Yes! However, I believe that a good company can change orders in progress without requiring so many hoops.

Lastly, if you have to pay by check (which our district must do for accounting purposes), your order will take FOREVER!!! Our district sent the check to Maryland from California on 8/14; the check was not processed at Vistaprint until 9/3 and they said, on average, it takes 2-3 weeks for them to process a check once it's received. THEN, they start the print job which, they say, takes up to 10 days after the check is processed, then it goes to shipping. So, an order made on July 27, payment sent on August 14th, will not be delivered to our district warehouse until - it's estimated - September 19th. The next step, once this order arrives, is to see how good the print quality is; based on other reviews I've seen here, I'm not so certain that the quality will be up to par....

I paid for the full year premium upfront to Vistaprint for a website, plus professional matching design business cards. The plan included the Facebook dashboard. I wasn't able to crop the pictures needed for the Facebook custom page, wasn't able to place a cover picture on actual Facebook page designed through my Vistaprint dashboard, and after designing and publishing my Facebook dashboard custom page, it continued to read, "This page is unavailable."

I called Vistaprint several times for assistance. The representative told me there was nothing they could do. I requested to speak to a manager. He was able to apply and crop the pictures on the Facebook custom page for me but said that the Facebook issue was not theirs. I paid extra for this Vistaprint feature! I called back and another tech tried to fix the problem with me on the phone, later telling me that he had to create a ticket for the Techs to fix the problem. They couldn't tell me when or how long it would be before the problem could be fixed. I had to keep checking the website/Facebook to see if the problem had been resolved.

After a week, I notice that Vistaprint sent me a message stating that the problem could not be resolved. I called back and sat on the phone for over 50 minutes waiting to speak to a manager. Finally, I got the same manager and he told me that he would try to fix the problem. He said he would give me a callback in an hour. When I requested that I would like some type of compensation, the manager told me they don't have any promotions. I have paid them in full. Each time I had to call them, they easily brushed me off, leaving me unsatisfied. I am still waiting for a response. I will give you all an update, if and when my issue maybe resolved.

(Update) 8:56 PM Okay, the manager, Andreq and I just got off the phone. He called me back 2 hours ago. He tried to resolve the problem but, could not, completely. He said that, "Yes, there's a lot of problems with Vistaprint's services (website builders) and that there wasn't much they could do about it. I appreciate him taking the time to assist me but, it is very unfair that I still have to walk away not receiving what I paid for. I will be calling Ricardo **, the Supervisor in the morning.

By the way, they don't compensate because they work with other companies and these problems are expected to happen, is what I was told. This is after 3 weeks of working on my website and Facebook dashboard. They also blamed Facebook. If Facebook is not working well for Vistaprint's customers, then maybe Vistaprint should not offer that service to their customers. My problem was unsolved.

To my surprise, when I received the cards the finish was terrible. It didn't appear matte at all. Instead it looked like it was at one time a gloss card that had been weathered. The black was so transparent you could see the white behind it. There were also little white specks and fine lines of white in the black. I will not use this company again. Obviously matte finish means very little ink to get the results. I wouldn't even give one star if I could help it.

After waiting for 45 minutes on the phone, we were told that the promo wasn't working properly (really? for such a common offer and such a big company?) Then, we were told we would have to pay the full amount and then call back (????) for a refund. When we called back we were told we'd have to wait for 1 or 2 billing cycles for our refund to appear on our statement. Really?? I tried and retried to get the photos on their site straight as they appear on my computer.

I contacted them by phone after receiving no response at all from my emails. I was told SEVEN TIMES over a two-week period that it would take 2 to 3 days to fix the problem, and that my case was listed as a top priority, etc. Finally, I insisted on speaking to a supervisor and he told me that they just didn't have the capabilities to fix the problem. Their systems don't do that. So...despite the fact that I was told they would fix it, and I worked for over 2 weeks on the site and I was billed for upgrades for a website that I can't use, I finally was told that they could not fix the problem. Vistaprint has always been a company that offered "free" items. Just as with other companies, you can't expect them to make money and receive your items free also; there has to be a charge in there somewhere. Now, things cost a minimum and the shipping (that people are complaining about). If most would pay attention to the uprising costs and possible Saturday closures of the USPS, they would see that it's not cheap at all to mail anything other than a letter. With that being said, I don't feel as if they are price gouging me when it comes to shipping because remember, I am not paying for the items that I am receiving.

I have ordered about everything that you can think of for my business and church use; and I've only had 1 incident, where I received another church's flyers for their school. When I called, I spoke to someone who could speak English, didn't have me on hold for long and actually fixed my problem (for all the people who say the representatives don't speak good English and keep referencing Jamaica and monkeys). Sometimes things aren't as perfect as I want them, but as I stated, you have to pay for high quality printing and it's not going to be for free.

And when I went to approve my small order of 140 labels, I found I could not. The checkout button said confirm without address labels on the original order. I thought "What the heck?" Then I noticed a second field below and went there, discovering to my surprise they had doubled my order and wanted me to confirm! That button said confirm with address labels. Although it wasn't that much money, the measure they went to in order to get it infuriated me. I cancelled my original order, and I will not do business with them again.

I have tried in a numerous variety of ways to get to the checkout page that includes the options for the free stamp. The stamp has not once appeared. Also, the so-called free 250 business cards are $4.99. They do say they will send a coupon for $5.00 once the sale is complete. I was willing to buy the cards for the $4.99 and get the coupon, but the stamp never materialized. Not in any of the various windows of additional promotional items they try to sell or in the checkout window. I am not willing to confirm my order and payment (through PayPal) just to find out the stamp isn't included. It's really too bad because I found the perfect card and loved the way it looked.

I tried scanning the USB stick and it flagged the file as suspicious, but I still couldn't put the file on quarantine. When I tried formatting the disk, it took a very long time to do so, and then all of a sudden, my computer hung. I tried to start up the computer but it would go to blue screen or hang itself, and at times when I can boot up, it would run really slow. Now, I have five useless USB sticks that I can't use and a broken computer, and maybe I have spread the virus through my email accounts which were running while I was testing the sticks!

No one likes to feel as though they are being "misled" or "cheated". However, this is exactly how I felt when ordering some business cards through Vistaprint. They take you through page after page after page of things you have to uncheck or read very carefully to keep from ordering something you don't want. Then, in my case, when I got to Checkout, the shipping cost went from $5.99 to $8.78! Why? I can afford the extra $2.79, but I refuse to be pushed into paying one red cent extra when I feel as though I have been "rooked" into paying a higher charge. I don't like companies that have to sneak in an upcharge, or add a few cents here and there. I assure everyone of this. Order something from Vistaprint, and you can expect to get poor service and charged extra money for "nothing". It's sad to see a company has to go to these measures to get $2.79.

I was recently looking at credit card bills and traced a charge on it for $29.99 from a company called Business Max. I traced it on credit card statements for 2 years. I called the number and they told me I have had a membership since 2008. I kept asking them what it was for. They said I joined something. I told them I wanted them to email me a copy of my signature, what I joined and where I said they can deduct $29.99 from my credit card every month. They said they would email me the information. I never received it. I was curious where it came from, so I did research and found that it comes from Vistaprint. In 2008, I ordered business cards and it automatically puts you in a click where they deduct money from your credit card every month. The website is totally bogus; it tells you nothing. So they took about $1,500.00 in total from my credit card over the past 5 years. While researching the website, I see that there are hundreds of people going through the same thing.

I asked if there wasn't a faster way and they said I could buy the original domain name for $19 + tax which I did. That seemed reasonable to me. Customer service has been very helpful through all of this. I'm not a techie and they have walked me through each step and have been very polite. I've been very pleased with all of my experiences with Vistaprint.

I had a client come to me. She chose DMWDS.com as her web design and internet marketing company as Vistaprint leeched more than 100's of dollars from her each month. She found out they doubled the price of their domain names. Most domain run $14.00 and below, but they charge $19.00 for ownership of the domain. Getting the EPP code for transfer was insane enough. Too much red tape.

I went on Vista Print to check out their website services. I input a domain name that I thought I would use as my business. I decided not to go with Vista Print for my website as they have an extension off the website name (I think vp) that I didn't want. Later on when I started to look at websites, I went online to get the domain that I originally wanted to use and now it was no longer available. When I looked it up, I realized that it now belongs to Vista Print. Wow. Isn't that a bit unethical that they took my domain name for their own?

I just received the business cards I ordered from Vistaprint and discovered that Vistaprint printed their advertising on the back of my business cards that I bought and paid for. Totally unacceptable! Stop buying their business cards, and maybe, they will stop putting their website on your business cards you buy from them.

Disgusted with Vistaprint - I ordered wedding save-the-dates, envelopes and mailing labels from the site. At the end of the order, I paid with a Living Social deal as well as my credit card. Because the discount was great, I decided to pay a little extra for rush shipping. With this, I was supposed to receive the order 3 days from the date of placing the order. Starting out, everything was fine. I got a timely response that the order had been shipped. I was supposed to receive it on November 6. Nothing came. I was still in good spirits as I know sometimes shipping is not always on schedule. I checked the website and the status had been updated to being delivered on November 7. I figured this was because it had gotten late and they ran out of time.

Today is November 8, the status of the shipment once again sad out for delivery by the end of the day. The end of the day drew near, still nothing. I called UPS and they gave me a crap status on it and said that I needed to call the merchant. Via phone I had terrible customer service, multiple transfers, bad attitudes, and not one knowledgeable person. Basically, they told me they will cancel the order and reship it. But I would have to wait 7 more days for one half of the package and an additional 7 for the 2nd half. I was hung up on 4 times when I asked for a shipping refund. Needless to say, I will never order from them again, and I would urge others not to either.

I placed an order for a calendar that I must stress said 99p on the leaflet. I then got offered better quality and I thought yeah I can do that. Then delivery, then conned into a second with free delivery. I was not even notified of the second charge. I called to cancel one; they said I cannot do that. Then, they canceled both - no refund. They said it would take 48 hours to refund me. I don’t see how it will take 48 hours to do a PayPal transaction. The complete ** on the end of the phone spoke no English! And his supervisor was no help as well, refusing to answer me as to why the refund has not gone through after being told it has been successful. I’m never using them again! If I don’t get my money back, I’ll be taking it further.

I pay extra for my website’s local listing, search engine, and so many other advertising avenues through Vista Prints. My website has been out of Google, Yelp, and YP listing for over a week. Does this company still expect to bill my account? I'm trying to call, but they're experiencing severe weather conditions. I am losing a lot of business. It was nice doing business with you guys.

I ordered a logo on their site and the products I ordered looked good. However, once I downloaded the logo I paid for, the quality was terrible (white lines across the PDF logo and jagged edges on the jpeg version). They refused to help and offered to take my complaint and pass it on to their designers. This is unacceptable since as a business owner I can’t be changing the logo as I please. They are marketing a product they cannot provide. This is false advertising.

I've contacted Vistaprint multiple times over several months about not receiving the social media data for my website. They told me that they were working on it, but it's been months! My credit card is still being billed monthly. If you can't sort out these problems then please, stop stringing me along.

I opened a "free trial" website service for Vistaprint and cancelled on Day 16 (I found a web developer that offered more professional services). Upon calling Vistaprint to get the rights to my domain name, they told me first I had to wait 90 days before my domain was released to web space (basically future use); then 5 minutes later, she said I had to wait a full year to get my domain released for future use. Pissed, I asked to speak to a manager; and the manager stated, yes, definitely have to wait a year. Reason being, Vistaprint purchases the rights to your domain name through Tucows (google it). They pay Tucows $19.99 to hold the domain, thus allowing Vistaprint to offer to the end user for "free".

Now, I could pay $19.99 to have capability to transfer the domain to another host, but why in the ** would I pay that for a "free" service that I canceled?! Vistaprint is a total loser and unprofessional company regarding customer service. You will not speak to an American, as their customer service is definitely overseas. If you want a professional site done where you can own the rights to your domain, I highly suggest staying away from Vistaprint. I've now realized that there are a ton of sites you can use to purchase a domain and then outsource the work to a web developer to have a way better professionally designed site. Vistaprint, I will make sure the over 4,000 FB friends and 10K plus Twitter followers I have never ever ever use your services if you were the very last option on planet earth. Your marketing is fooling a lot of people to think you're a rock solid business, when your ** stinks!
