I was enrolled by Vista Print into a rewards program without my consent. Once I noticed it several months later, I called to confront them and ask for a refund. I was told on 8/19/2010 that I would receive a refund for the months of 3/11/2009 through 8/19/2010, totaling 12 payments of $14.95 and 6 payments of $17.95 which is $287.10! I have yet to receive my refund and it is 01/24/2011, 5 months later. They have record that they refunded the money, but the payments were never sent to my bank. I have called them numerous times and have records of their names and ID numbers.

I ordered a number of different calendars as Christmas presents from Vistaprint's Singapore website. They arrived in time for Christmas and I was pleased with the quality. Can you imagine my disappointment to find on giving them, that the company had spelled February, "Febuary". This is an unforgivable error for a company that produces calendars.
On the Singapore site, there are no contact numbers so I emailed customer service. Now this error was not the end of the world as these were family presents, however I really felt that the company should be aware of the error and acknowledge it as such. I couldn't believe it when about 5 days after I emailed them I received a very impersonal email telling me the error had been corrected and all my products had been re-ordered. I did not want extra calendars and I emailed them as soon as I received the notification. I live in Singapore and I had the calendars delivered to Australia where I was spending Christmas. They will arrive there and be thrown out. It is such a waste of resources. It took another 5 or so days for them to respond saying that it's too late to withdraw the order.
If it had been me running customer services, I would have offered me the choice of a reprint or a voucher for future use. As it stands I won't be going back to Vistaprint due to their very lackluster customer service. A voucher may well have tempted me back.

I order Holiday cards, with a coupon that I had purchased, and I got 2 more calendars. I received an email telling me that my purchase was to arrive on December 17, 2010, earlier than expected. The original delivery date was January 1, 2011, but that day also, has come and gone. Now, the cards are totally inappropriate, as they say Happy Holidays, which have now been over for a while! I wrote asking where my order is, but have yet to receive a response. This is the first, and probably the last time that I will do business with them, which is unfortunate, as I do scrapbooking and digital scrapbooking! This usually means lots of prints and books.
Hi Sharon,
We have issued you a free reorder of these cards. Please email us at customersupport@vistaprint.com if you have any further questions.

I ordered this website and was assigned a web address. I have a domain name and want to use that. At first, the website showed up on the web correctly. I have changed the name servers and now I can't even find my website on the web. I am not happy. This should not happen. I'll probably end up canceling the website and ordering another one from some other place. Oh, and I also have hosting, but what good is that if nobody can find me! It's hard to get to talk to a real person at Vista Print. That's a problem.
Can you please email us your account information to customersupport@vistaprint.com? We were unable to look up your account from the email tied to this response or by your name. We will help you with this as soon as possible.

I have spent over $100 so far with Vistaprint CA with no issues thus far. I always read the fine print of any web site and take screen shots of everything so that I have something to fall back on for proof if necessary. I look forward to receiving my goods every time because of how good everything looks. My only issue is how prices of everything in my cart changes from browser to browser or by just logging into my account from one day to another but I have never felt as if I was being scammed.

I have done quite a bit of business with Vistaprint. I find the quality of their products to be quite excellent and their shipping time for me as been more than satisfactory.
My only complaint or issue with Vistaprint is that everything I design a project for them to print for me, they always find a way to put their logo on my work. I called and emailed them about the matter. They promised and assured me that it won't happen again. But, the very next order, there's the logo again. They are fast to issue credits but my customers have to wait for a clean product.
I just wish they would stop putting their logo on the design work that I do for my customers, especially when I don't even put my own logo on my customer's projects. It makes it appear as if Vistaprint is the creator of my work.

For weeks, I worked on a photo book on the Vista Print website. On December 2, I ordered two copies of the book I created. They were to be very special Christmas gifts for my grandmother and daughter. The total cost was $65. The order details said they would arrive on or before December 16. On December 17 I checked the order status and it said they had shipped. On December 21, when I still had not received them, I called customer service. After speaking with three different representatives, and being kept on hold for many minutes, I was told that they were having a problem with these books.
Apparently Vista Print is outsourcing the production to some other company. They told me that since there was no tracking number, I was just out of luck. They offered me a refund but said there was nothing they could do about my Christmas presents. Now, three days before Christmas, I don't have the thing I was most excited about giving. This truly has ruined my Christmas for my grandmother. Vista Print's lack of caring or concern just disgusts me. I am livid and will never order from there again.
Kim,
Sorry that we ruined your holiday. The type of photo book that you ordered is produced and shipped from Europe. Due to weather issues overseas, there were some delays in shipping. We have refunded you for the order and your books are in transit so you will still be receiving them.

I ordered letterhead with a special Vistaprint image on 11/30/10 for a mailing that I needed to put in the mail by 12/09/10. I paid for 7-day delivery and my Vistaprint confirmation said I would receive my order on or before 12/06/10. My order didn't arrive until 12/10/10. I wasn't able to get my mailing out on time to promote our 12/12/10 event that was publicized everywhere with this particular Vistaprint image. I would have paid for the 3-day shipping if I had a reason to believe that the order wouldn't arrive in time. I had never had this problem before. I contacted Vistaprint and they refunded the shipping cost to me. But that was a drop in the bucket compared to the donations that could have come in as a result of this concert.
We had spent nearly $700 on promotion materials from Vistaprint just for this event. I felt like a credit in the amount of $25-$50 would have been more appropriate. But the refund we received was $7.80. I was told that it was impossible to issue any kind of additional credit. I was prepared to spend another few hundred dollars for additional Vistaprint promotional materials for our next event. Now I will have to find another company that provides similar services. I contacted Vistaprint and asked if they would send the document as a pdf so I could get it in the mail on time. They said it was impossible. I understand that there are image copyright issues, but the date of the event was on the document and all of the other publicity.
Sorry for the poor experience that you had. We have issued a $50 credit to your account.

I purchased some calendars from Vistaprint. I gave my credit card details for the invoice amount of $70.23. However, my credit card has been debited by $90 plus come currency charges!! I go in through the vistaprint site which is in my favourites, so I am wondering if they have charged me for some other country's currency! A major problem is that there is no contact for them. I tried customer service and had one reply that gave me a fax number to fax my documentation to but there is no area code with it and every day I ask customer services (email is the only contact I can find for them) to tell me what country/area code the fax number is for.-But for 2 weeks now, I have no answer and they have taken an amount I did not agree to out of my credit card. I did not agree to pay in any other currency or the amount of $90+.
Nowhere on my order did it say it was some other currency and considering I was using the vistaprint new zealand site, I consider I have been ripped off and am very concerned that I can okay an amount on my credit card but they can change it to whatever they want plus not be available to respond! Where on earth are they? The products are good but there is no customer service anywhere. Most websites give contact details; you just go around in circles with vistaprint. Thanks.
Hi Cheryl,
We offer localized websites for both Australia and New Zealand. If an order is placed on one site, the currency conversion will be added to your order. We see that you have placed seven orders on the NZ site and two on the AU site.

On November 30, 2010, I attempted to place an order with Vistaprint for 50 greeting cards with envelopes and 50 return address labels. I entered all the information on Vistaprint's website. I was in the process of ordering when a screen came up and asked me if I wanted to order additional cards and labels as a "bonus". There was no other information on the screen to say that I would have to pay an additional cost for the bonus items. And there was no information stating how many additional items I would be getting. I clicked on "order" for each item, because the screen didn't seem to give me another option to continue with placing the order. I just wanted to get the order moving. Meanwhile, I thought I would be charged for only 50 cards and labels I was ordering. And I thought the extra items would be free since they were listed as "bonus" items.
When the screen changed, I found out that the order doubled to 100 cards with envelopes and 280 labels instead of 140 labels. I wasn't unhappy with the increase in quantity, but discovered that the total price jumped significantly. When I called customer service, I explained the situation and I asked for the quantity on both items to be changed back from 100 to 50 like I originally was trying to order. The man on the phone stated that I would only receive a quantity of 50 for each item. When the shipment arrived, I received 100 cards with "business" instead of "greeting card" envelopes, plus 280 labels. And I was being charged for the "bonus" items on top of the original price. I called customer service again and they wanted to give me credit on my account. I insisted on a refund to cover the cost of the bonus items that I wasn't expecting to pay for.
I did receive the refund. But I also requested another shipment of envelopes to fit the greeting cards. I was assured that I would receive new envelopes within 3 business days. Several days had passed and no envelopes arrived. When I called customer service to ask about the envelopes, the woman told me that the order for the envelopes was never placed. She offered to place another order for the envelopes. I said "no" as I needed the envelopes immediately in order to get the cards out in the mail. The timing for receiving these items was critical as they were bought for a friend who needed them that week for notification of an address change. I had to go out and buy boxes of Christmas cards so I could get the 5 x 7 envelopes I needed to fit the greeting cards I already had from Vistaprint. As a result, I paid Vistaprint for their cards but also had to put my own money out for boxes of cards and envelopes that I shouldn't have had to buy at all. In my estimation, the customer service department for Vistaprint needs an overhaul.

I placed my Christmas card order the morning of 11/29 and it took a week to print out my order of 50 cards. Supposedly it was mailed on Monday, 12/6 and expected delivery date is on or before 12/20. I live in Massachusetts, the same state that Vistaprint is based in. Granted, I ordered using the cheapest shipping, but I feel like they punish you for not spending more on the shipping or they are lying about when the order is shipped. It is now 12/10 and I still have not received my cards. I find it hard to believe that it takes more then 4 days for my order to arrive USPS in the same state. Customer service is terrible as well, the woman on live chat just reiterated what my tracking in my account already said.
Another woman on the telephone said I would definitely receive it by the 20th. Well, no ****, that's what the tracking already says! I've ordered "free" products in the past, while just having to pay shipping and I've never had to wait over 10 days to receive my order. 21 days for a delivery time is absolutely ridiculous and that is where they are obviously making their money. This company has printed my checks twice with the incorrect account number. They said it was my error even though when I called to correct it last time, they verified it with me. They sure aren't worried about customer service either; they are very rude and not admitting their mistakes. They are, however, making lots of money by keeping the shipping and "handling" you have to pay. Beware and pay a little more to get quality products and service.
Hello Corliss,

VistaPrint advertises a service called online search profile that is supposed to submit your profile to 100 search engines. They then provided links to eight of those engines so you can check your results. Your information is supposed to be posted in 6 to 10 weeks. After 12 weeks, my information shows up on only two of the eight engines they listed. A random search in other engines shows no additional postings. I contacted VistaPrint Customer Service on October 20 and reported the problem. They said that they would get back to me.
They followed up with an annoying form of email which did not address the problem at all. I then traded 6 or 7 emails with them trying to get them understand the problem but to no avail. I don't think they actually ever read my emails. They just automatically responded with an irrelevant form of email. So in total exasperation, I called the customer service yet again and asked to speak to a supervisor. I spoke to a supervisor named Carla who assured me that she would look into it and get back to meet. It is now November 3 and I have not heard back yet. All this time, I'm paying for the online search profile. Beware VistaPrint!

I have never had a problem with vista print. I saw some people complaining on this site that the final product was not to their liking, that's what the proofing is for; or others that there is no customer service. For those of you expecting to get 250 cards for $5 in shipping alone, let me break it to you, your order is next-to-worthless. Any print shop will not give priority to low-end, small-count print jobs. My order, 50 postcards, that I got for free is taking too long to ship. Consider the logistics of it all first.

Since my last order of business cards in early 2009, they have been charging my credit card $17.95 a month, which I missed on my account updates.Today I was assured they would put a stop to this auto withdrawal and send me a refund..

Back in September, I ordered business cards and stickers. The site is very slick and colorful. Everything went well until I tried to sign out. Then I was told I had not purchased enough and the order could not be sent. I could either decrease the time it would be sent or I could purchase more. I decided to change the time to process the order, so I ended up with one free item and one purchase item for a total of $18.89. Once it went through, then the problems started. I was told it would take longer than expected because it's from the time the order is processed, not sent. That would mean my order that was sent in September would take until December 1, why?! I paid for 14 days.
Even if you processed it and sat on the order, it still would come no later than October. I have called and talked customer service who sound scripted. I sent 6 emails and got the same individual twice with an, "I am sorry about your order; here's some free or discounted stuff." Well, I want my merchandise that I ordered or my money back, period! It's a postal money order and they claim it was cashed so I am requesting a copy of my money order. The only thing left here for me to do is put a stop payment or contact the Better Business Bureau. Attention, everyone! Don't do business with this company, it is a rip off!

This is a complaint about Vistaprint. In my case, while ordering business cards from VistaPrint, as I did in November of 2009, there apparently is an invisible, or nearly-invisible check box (when I went back today searching for this check box, I could not find it) that is already checked. If you do not uncheck it, you have signed up for monthly charges on your credit card into infinity for business services from BusinessMax. So, I was charged $14.95 a month for 11 months without noticing until now.

Where do I begin? I have two websites. I've had them for two months with absolutely no activity, as they promise to put me all over the web and it it isn't even found by anyone, yet they claim there is all this activity. I asked for extension on one of my websites because I was unhappy with the current activity and there are fallacious claims. Instead of implementing the requested extension as they agree, they inactivated my account so I couldn't access it at all. I found out several people tried to reach me which constituted in me loosing about $2,000 worth of business.
They report untruthful accounts of activity, and record charts on your site that make you think you are getting all this attention. I have a unique wedding product and I'm successful when I just send postcards, so I know this website of theirs is bogus. I have two. The other one is active but I do not get any emails or phone calls from it. Neither one of them can be found on the WWW after two months still. They claim I am on a million different search engines. I have tested all the search engines I know and I am not found at all. It making me look like I am lying to my business colleagues. Also, they will send you free product offers, but when you are ready to check out, it isn't free, and there is no way to remove it except to remove your designed product altogether.
This company is pathetic! There is no customer service ethics at this company. They pass all your questions and concerns to various people, nothing ever gets resolved. They don't stand by their word, and all the emails generally come from a Lori **. But you cannot reach this person to discuss anything, she is suppose to be head of customer benefits.

I have a hard time reading what's on the card, and my prospects will have a hard time reading the card text because they are older citizens with vision difficulties due to age. I attempted to place an order of 4000 business cards because I had received a postcard for a promotion ending today, October 8, 2010. I have ordered business cards from VistaPrint for 8 years with relatively few problems. At the Google page, the website listed 25% off site-wide. At the website, it listed on the top banner ‘Special Offer Free Shipping on Orders of 500 or more premium Business Cards’. I selected the Premium Business Cards section and the banner said ‘80% Off All Orders Premium Business Cards. Again, I did nothing more than view the choices of cards. I made my selections of the 5 different styles for a total of 4,000 cards then the prices came up at 25% off or $23.24 for some and $11.74 for others totaling $93.20. When I hit checkout, the prices changed to $39.79 and $29.49 with added items that I had not requested for a total of $349. I removed those unwanted items and got down to $169 but not the expected $93.20.
I called the customer service number and the representative's explanation was convoluted and impatient. She eventually changed my order back to the 25% off prices but bristled when I asked about the free shipping, the 80%, and the $10 off the postcard. Her supervisor came on to ‘straighten me out’ saying that I could not choose all these offers. I explained that I did not choose them I just saw them as I assembled my order and had no way to know what I was getting from them. I selected nothing. She was impenetrable and unwilling to acknowledge or recognize that the trip through the ordering process showed me all of these offers and gave me none of them at the end. I finally accepted her offer of the 25% off which she placed in my order form. When she hung up, I hit checkout and all the prices reverted to $39+ each. The phone number I had used no longer accepted calls.
Fortunately, I remembered the pathway they took to get me the 25% off and used it to finally get that price myself. The web address for the postcard promotion did not exist. They requested me to change my P.O. Box shipping address due to inability to ship orders over $500 or with clothing from Canada. I was doing neither but changed my address. They rejected my zip code as ‘wrong’. I re-entered it 3 times as instructed and finally had to choose another address to ship to. At the final order, I changed my shipping address back to my ‘incorrect one’ and it worked fine. What an unpleasant experience! I can’t imagine ordering from them again after this. The good prices may not be worth the angst!

Their website order process was a travesty of lateral marketing and there was no customer service, no matter what the website and phone menu suggested. I had to order three sets of invitations. First because they did not ship by USPS, as the website said they would, resulting in misdirection and non-delivery of that shipment. Then, a second time because their website refused to accept the number of pieces that I ordered and the correct address I entered, so it decided on its own and processed the order. Then, a third order to correct the errors of the first two, but again with the number of pieces that I did not enter on their website form. I have, of course, been billed for everything, which was especially galling as I upgraded everything to the best paper, etcetera. It was a complete waste of money as their best was printed on cheap low-quality paper. Their "rush" delivery was fiction for which I paid an extra $26 (or was it more?).
The best paper invitations turned out to be cheesy, flimsy, and a real embarrassment. These invitations were for a 95th birthday celebration given by the honoree's wife, no spring chicken herself. The time, delay, confusion, misdirection, and poor quality of the finished product of this series of transactions had been very upsetting. It's not as if there was time to get an alternative, something decent, or another opportunity to have this event.

Vistaprint is not straightforward with respect to advertised charges and final charges for the printing of postcards, business cards and etcetera. First, for the charges for reverse side printing, no matter if you have the reverse sides printed in color or pure black, you will pay the full color price. They do list that a blank side or a gray tone is free but do not tell you clearly upfront if you only want one drop of black ink on the back. You will effectively pay the color back side rate. Secondly, the initial cost for the reverse side printing is $9. You will see on the screen that it is for the minimal amount only. The larger the quantity printed, the greater the reverse side cost but you would not see that anywhere until after you have completed your job.
I ended up paying $30 for 500 postcards with black text only. Third is the shipping charge. I selected the standard 14-day shipping and was approximately $20 which is on the high side considering their shipping volume. Fourth, once you have placed your first order, the prices you will see on the computer used to place that order will always be greater than another computer in your office. Lastly, was it too much ‘gotcha’ for me? I cancelled my order and we will see if they follow though crediting my card. I’m not holding my breath.

After only a few of months, unfortunately, I noticed a charge for $14.95 billed to both my Chase and Capital One accounts for "**" CT monthly from January 2009.
I contacted my bank, and called the number they provided. The lady on the phone insisted that I had signed up for some kind of rewards service when I purchased a business cards from Vista Print and claimed they had sent me an email confirming the service, which apparently is a monthly subscription for $14.95 per month. She was pretty nice about all and when I complained that I was sure I had never signed up for any such service, she apologized, but refused to refund any money. I remember her insisting that I was the one who signed for the membership and all what she can do is just to cancel it, making it all my fault. I wanted is to be over. I had no idea that it can be any kind of scam. I just wanted to cancel whatever it was and forget about it!
I've got an email from them confirming that my last charge for my Reservation Rewards Membership took place on 07/11/2009 and effective 08/05/2009 I will no longer be charged. I can provide this email and all also my credit cards statements. Since July, I've been checking my both accounts and haven't noticed any charges.
I do not use my Capital One credit card, it is in my drawer in case of emergency. I make payments online. I don't pay close attention to what in the statements, since I do not use it! I've noticed it only in May. I immediately called my credit card company, closed the account and filed a dispute. After contacting the Merchant (Reservation Rewards), my credit card company refused to refund any money back to my account since the merchant told them that I've been their member since January 2009. All this time and canceled it only in May of 2010. In then the same exact day that I closed my credit card account.

I have posted on this website before with regards to VistaPrint. So this is to update everyone with my outcome. I ordered 1,000 postcards and used this company, Marketing Services, to mail them out to my customers, (my mistake).
First, VistaPrint did not complete the order in the 1-week time frame they promised, when I placed the order with customer service. Second, after 1 and 1/2 weeks gone by, I got in touch with customer service, and they said it would be 1 month, before the order could be completed. This order was somewhat, time sensitive,in the sense that it was an advertisement for seasonal work. You shouldn't wait 1 month after the peak season starts, to advertise your services.
Ultimately, 1 month after their 1 month due date, the order was never completed due to unexplainable technical difficulties. After two months of conversation with customer services they never offered any apologies, a lot of defiance, and accepted very little blame. I've read other complaints from people who used this company.
My advice, think twice, and support your local businesses, because I've actually dealt with this same careless nonchalant attitude before with another online printing company, Got Print. Lucky for me, I didn't go as far as to place an order with that company. If you still feel you must, order at your own risk. Too many people have been burned. It's definitely not worth it. I tried to get some business cards through VistaPrint. I went far enough to enter data as requested, was shunted off the website and never got to the order of free business cards as advertised. I found two charges on my next CC billing that led back to VistaPrint. Those charges were from Privacymatters and Numberhawk.com. This type of robbery shows that there is no law force to protect fraudulent activity on the internet and that people like this are ruining the future of business on the internet. There is no law on the internet and no chance of recuperation when so duped. Disgusting! I am out $36.00 and would be out much more if I had not "lost" my CC and got different numbers they did not have. Question-- Is CreCaptcha another? You see where this leads?

After 10 days of hassles with VistaPrint's customer services, they finally agreed to replace the order but advised me that it would be a further 14 days for delivery. Previously, I have had delivery issues and overlooked them, this was the final straw. The bottom line - I have found that dealing with Vistaprint is more hassle than they are worth. Due to the non-delivery of my product, I lost uncountable customers. I ordered a few personalized items from Vistaprint.com Somehow something called Bizmax began to debit my bank account for the last 15 months! Supposedly you had to enter your info twice and enroll yourself. That is not what I did. I'm very careful when I buy things online because I know there are scammers like this out there. They billed me 15 times before I realized who and what had been drafting my bank account without my permission. Yes, I know, shame on me for not looking more carefully. I had seen the charge before and dismissed it as a stand in the mall or something my husband had bought, and unfortunately he had done the same.
Until I googled the name and found hundreds of others who have been scammed by this Company as well. I caution everyone! I am not easily fooled but they got me! From what I've managed to piece together, apparently a coupon of some sort pops up and you must hit "No, Thanks" to opt out of the program. If that's true, I'm sure I most likely would have just hit X instead to get out of the pop up. But apparently not responding with the "No, thanks" must have been the key. Vistaprint is well aware of this shady practice use by Bizmax on their website. If they were on the up and up, they would not allow it to continue. But it is still happening, therefore they are to blame.
If you order from Vistaprint, you better check your bank statement often! If you don't believe me, just google Bizmax or Vistaprint Bizmax yourself. Don't be their next victim!

They almost sneak it in there. You repeatedly click next, next, next, not wanting anything else and lo and behold, I'm subscribed to a magazine and they don't have any contact info for who is sending it! I have been ordering from them for the past 3 years. I have always been happy with their merchandise. As you order, they will send offers to continue to grab great deals.
For people who are getting upset, read carefully on their website. Yes, they will try to get you to buy one last thing as you place your order. Do not! It often changes shipping and can make it more expensive. Don't be greedy. Stick with your original order and don't get sucked into those extra special deals. That's not VistaPrint's problem if some customers are ignorant. I have never had to return anything as I have only been charged correctly and have always been happy with my merchandise. I was scammed on the internet. Here is how it works for the BizMax-Vista Print scam. I went to the Vista Print site to order some business cards. I saw no offers to join the BizMax membership. Why, because the BizMax membership was in the form of a pop up banner. With my pop up blocker turned on this form never showed up on my screen. However, if it would have it would say something like to join do nothing but if you don't want to join un-check the box.
Since I didn't see the banner because of the pop up blocker I didn't uncheck the box and was joined without my knowledge or authorization and BizMax was able to gather my credit card information from the order I placed with Vista Print. I contacted my bank and they were able to get my membership fees refunded. I did not realize that these payments were being made for 5 years. Yes, I didn't review my monthly statements as I should have and found these charges before I did. I did not expect to be scammed either. I was able to recover all the fees paid except for the time I spent working out the return of the fees.
I just don't want others scammed as I have been and this company should be made to change the sign up methods to be absolutely sure the "customer" is fully aware of being signed up. Also, I never received one piece of correspondence from this company explaining any of the benefits so I was not able to take advantage of any such benefits. Vistaprint do offer some very good products, especially for charities. But you can't order more than 4 items or else you pay for them, and then choose the cheapest delivery possible. That and plus VAT will be all you'll pay.
However, following my dis-satisfaction with Vistaprint last year, they offered and I accepted via email a refund of $147.20 as a 'gesture of good will. Needless to say, 8 months on, even with email proof of the agreed refund, and God knows how many email requests for the refund, I still don't have it. I now feel that they owe me compensation for waiting 8 months for a refund of my own--not our charity's money--because I've refused to order any more products from them until I have my refund. Unfortunately, I desperately needed to re-order some products yesterday and even that was totally messed up by Vistaprint and they tried to charge me for something I didn't order--again! The balance between products available is not equaled by customer care. Take my advice, stay clear of them.
I've used Vistaprint to design many, many publicity items for the animal charity I work for. But they constantly add-on 'extra' items, even when you've declined their inclusion. The limit of 4 items for free is written in a very small font and colored in light grey and is, therefore, very difficult to see. I didn't spot this detail as I have a filter screen, and ran up a large bill that I've paid for from my own pocket. I'm disabled and unable to work any longer, so the callous way Vistaprint squeeze money out of customers is shameful. But they have no morals or principles towards helping charities, unless it's to con money out of you. Unfortunately, despite trying, I've not yet found another company that offers similar publicity items for free. So I'm stuck with them, still no refund and dependent on them for products to help our charity. I'm caught by a totally unscrupulous, deceptive “company”. Don't get caught by them.

It takes a long time to figure out how to "delete" the unwanted items and if I am not careful, I end up ordering magazines or other promotional items that I do not want. Vista Print should allow customers to easily choose extras or promotional products without automatically placing them on the order without explicit permission. It's like, "We will go ahead and sell it to you unless you catch us and make us stop". I will stop using Vista Print unless they stop this practice. I placed an order for 1000 postcards and used the company's marketing services to mail out the postcards to my customers. I sent them out bulk mail or 3rd class mail. When I placed the order, the rep assured me that it would take 7 days to complete the printing process and because I went with the bulk mail, the Post Office had up to 15 days to mail out my cards. First of all, Vista Print did not complete the printing of the cards in 7 days.
As of today, which has been 17 business days after I placed my order, they still have not completed printing my order. When I called on the 7th day, they only had 3/4 of my order completed and when I called on the 12th day, they had only managed to print out 100 more. The reps are telling me that the Post Office will have the cards sent out within the 22 business days so they feel that they have not made any mistakes. But like I have been trying to explain to these people, if you would have printed them in 7 days and sent them to the Post Office, they would be in the mail.
But what they are doing is taking their time printing the order. Since I paid for 3rd class postage, they feel they can take the "up to 15 days" extra to complete the order and get them to the Post Office. My order is for a Lawn Care service which we know is a seasonal business and like I explained to the rep, if you all would have printed the order and delivered it in 7 days, as agreed, the Post Office would not hold my cards until the 12th or 13th day to mail them because I paid the bulk mail postage rate and not the 1st class rate.
I don't think I have the space to tell you how unprofessional the reps have been when dealing with an obviously upset customer but in a nutshell, their response was to meet me with much attitude and sarcasm, as if dealing with this issue was truly a waste of their time. I cannot put a dollar amount on the loss that may have accrued due to this issue nor can I display the words to truly express my anger when dealing with the "whatever" attitude of the customer service reps.

All I know is that for $20 a month, I have a website comparable to the multimillion-dollar companies to promote my small business. Vistaprint gives my small business the tools necessary to compete with the big shots and has been an integral part in its success. I am paying per month and believe I can cancel at anytime.

I love Vistaprint. All too often you only hear of a few bad incidents. Reading fine print is important and knowing where to find contact info (usually located at the bottom if a site) might have helped some of these disgruntled clients. I have used Vistaprint for years and credit them for my advertising success at a very low price. Quality printing. I use their business cards, banners, brochures, shelf cards, stationary and even their postcard mailing services. I would get lost and probably out of business without them. I always received my products and usually sooner than expected. Only had one shipment delay and they reshipped it immediately--rush at their cost. I even had a wonderful conversation with a rep. And he gave me an additional discount. Great value, great price!

After I finished designing my brochures, I called Vistaprint to have them make a correction as I can see some of the words and letters were cut off. The clerk said that she doesn't see anything wrong, everything looks fine, and she said that it could be my printer. My printer is only a year old, and never had problem with it. So, I asked for a supervisor, her name is Latoya. I explained to her the problem. She has an attitude and was very rude. I thought she hang up on me as she didn't answer me right away. Then I kept saying, “Hello! Hello!” Finally, she answered me with an attitude. She said that they cannot send me a proof because it was under construction. She kept saying that I should order a small amount of 25 to see if they come out right. Then I can order the 5000 which I was planning to order. Why would I spend my money for 25 if they come out the same with missing words and letters? Latoya is very rude, and she shouldn't be a supervisor as she was very, very rude.

Nonetheless, the other 12 or so products I order from them on a regular basis is completely satisfactory. I've seen better, however, what I order is again, acceptable. I've order rack cards, business cards, brochures, note pads, post its, flyers, pens, and a few other items. I do not have a website through them and definitely would not use them for such an "attract customer" oriented service, as it is not their core business.
Overall, I am satisfied as are a number of small business owners that I know that use them. I've never been charged wrongly. Not once. I've always been able to contact them over the phone and get immediate help if necessary. I've always received my items on time and in excellent condition. When I inquired as to what this charge was, I was told it was a rewards program and very quickly told they would refund the charge. I then said, I want to know what I am being charged for, for how long, and why- since I do not recall signing up for anything or authorizing any charges.
The customer service rep then transferred me to a supervisor named Kathy. She explained that I must have clicked on a banner from another web site to purchase something from them and in doing, so agreed to be part of this rewards program. She then said something to the effect of "your trial membership must have expired". She was also very quick to offer a refund with no question asked for the entire time. I was charged $14.96 a month from October to March- About $90. I said, "Thank you for the refund," but I was also very concerned with how many other people's credit cards are being charged $14.95 a month without their knowledge and how can this happen? She told me she "would not get into that as it does not effect my account, but she would issue a refund to my card and if there was nothing else to have a pleasant day". This is so unacceptable. I only had one problem in the past, and they rectified it immediately to my satisfaction.
The problem, my "complaint" is that I still get email offers from them several times a week, but I cannot respond to them. Nor can I contact them to find out what's going on. I have tried every which way to contact them electronically, as I don't have a phone number for them, but to no avail.

My wife decided to try their 100 free business cards offer to get some fun cards for the family, as well as to try out their service for business purposes later. Apparently, like many others here, she did not read the fine print and ended up enrolled in their 'Vista Rewards' dining program. This was Oct 2007 and we have been billed $18-20 since. I thought the bill was for a business club that she had joined, so it went unnoticed for all of this time. I finally called the number on the bill (Vista Rewards, not Vista Print) and had to locate my account using my name, because I had no account number. Once this was done, I told the person to cancel this club. I had no idea why I was signed up for it. At the time, I did not realize how long we had been in it. She apologized and said she'd cancel it.
Now that I knew what company I was dealing with, I logged into VistaPrint.com and looked at my wife's account. Now I realized that we had been charged like this for over 2 years! I was quite angry. Called Vista Print directly this time. The girl I talked to was very defensive about me calling this a scam, saying that my wife didn't read the fine print and that it was all legal. Well... duh. She did confirm that it was canceled and we got off the phone.
I then found this site and read through some comments. I figured I was just another one to get bamboozled. Then I saw the "VistaPrint responds" link at the top and checked it out. The PR guy said that if we felt we were scammed, that they'd refund our money. I assumed that they might refund the last month's 'membership fee'. So I made another call to VistaPrint. This time I talked to a rep named Daniel. He saw that I had called earlier and he was very understanding of the situation. I mentioned the guy that wrote that PR statement above, and he went to ensure that I was going to get a full refund along with that cancellation. He verified it with his supervisor (Ryan) and said the refund should hit my bank statement in 2-5 days. I was skeptical to say the least.
Three days later, there were about 25 entries refunding every charge since we started, about $460 worth. Wow... I was impressed. As much as I hate the program that we ended up getting signed up for, at least they stepped up and made things right. Hope that helps someone else that wound up in the same situation. Not sure if I will use VistaPrint again (we did like their mailing labels and a business calendar that we got), but I don't feel the hostility that I did before. And if I do use them, I will certainly be reading everything. Good luck!

I have been using Vistaprint services for my website for about 5 months now. Today I went into my account at Vista and a pop-up window came up and offered to upgrade. So I did. At no time was there any statement about extra cost. I believe this to be a bait and switch. I was browsing my bank account a short time after and noticed that I was charged $20.00 to upgrade. I was charged without notice.

I ordered "free" business cards, which were garbage. I then ordered their premium cards, which were also of poor quality and cost a fortune with the shipping. They would not accept a return of my premium business cards as they indicated there was nothing wrong on their end. I ended up using a new service called Quark Promote that provided top end service & quality and picked up my cards at the local Sir Speedy store the same day. I started a new business and working with Vistaprint took me 4 weeks to finally receive their premium cards which were of poor quality. I ordered from Quark Promote and picked up my cards in 24 hours.

I tried to order 200 business cards. All I wanted was the cards, so I declined all their other offers. When I chose PayPal as my method of payment and logged in to PayPal, suddenly Vistaprint would not accept it and continued to ask for personal information. Why would I give them my financial information instead of trusting PayPal? I've been using PayPal for years and this is the first time that a company has refused to use them after offering the PayPal option. Then the cards that were touted as "3 day shipping" jumped to 21 days unless I forked over another $29! What a scam! I live in Nevada, not some other galaxy where it should take 21 days to deliver 200 business cards. This is a blatant rip off! I will badmouth these con-artists to everyone I meet.

I created a trial account under Vista Print but due to its poor and unprofessional layouts and features, I decided to cancel the trial before they began charging my account. Upon successfully deleting the account (according to a representative-though the website still says I can't cancel it), I went back to the domain name I wanted to use for my personal website only to find it was still owned by Vista Print. I called a representative and was informed that the domain name will be owned by Vista Print for another year, unless I'd like to purchase it for $19. Don't trust these scam artists folks, it's just another unprofessional service with unfriendly practices.

I tell you, this was my first and last order placed by Vistaprint.com! The bait is the business card, far more expensive than shown on their site, all more ordered products have a bad quality. The impertinent way my email complaint was handled, the bad quality of their products and the non-existing refund guarantee and the un-reachability by phone, closed the door for me. I live in Holland Europe and ordered in Holland. So as well as in the US and in Holland, I have the same bad experience with this company. Be warned!

One of the photos in the calendar became corrupted and the printing failed. I was told that the order gets sent back again and again to try to be printed. And eventually after enough times I will get an email telling me something is wrong. However after five days I still received no notification. At this point they are already 5 days late and the rep offered to provide 7-day shipping from that point. So they would actually arrive 19 days after I placed the order instead of 7 days. Yet is was me who had to request a refund on the shipping charges to which she replied that that was not Vistaprint's policy. What kind of reputable business would make it a policy to charge somebody for 7-day shipping when they know it's going to wind up being 19 days? I raised this point and she got an authorization to do so. Then I asked why not give me the fastest shipping possible considering how late this is. She replied that can never be done. I told her I bet it could. She came back with the authorization to make it a 3-day shipping.
I don't think I'm telling you anything you don't know. I've had this same kind of scenario many times with many different companies. And the bottom line seems to be to do the customer wrong if you can get a few more bucks out of them, and only if they complain then do right by them. This is pathetic that anybody with any pride in their business would have a policy like this. The website also raised the price of my calendars when I started adding the mugs to the order. But I'm guessing you know this too and it's designed this way to try to sneak a little extra money out of me if I I wasn't paying attention. I was paying attention and I don't appreciate being treated like that. I hope you are enjoying the $1300 I spent with you this year because I'm going to be looking for another printer from now on.

Hi Cheryl,
We offer localized websites for both Australia and New Zealand. If an order is placed on one site, the currency conversion will be added to your order. We see that you have placed seven orders on the NZ site and two on the AU site.

Vistaprint is unfortunately like many other incredulous internet companies that rely on misleading practices to make a profit. They cannot make an honest enough profit through their basic service, so they lure you into signing up for their rewards program, which results in a $15-$18 monthly recurring charge on your credit card that they hope no one notices. My wife ordered some business cards on the site a year ago. We just now noticed the vista rewards charge going back for a year. This service is listed throughout the internet as a scam. Vistaprint should be ashamed of themselves. If they had a good product (the sad thing is my wife was happy with the product), they should not have to rely on cheating customers, who will clearly never return having dealt with this scam.

In 2008, I started using Vistaprint. I was charged $14.95 for a diner club charge monthly. I explained that in the area I live I would not be using a diner club card. I was refunded per my debit card one time. But when I tried to call them to get refunded 3 times after that, I was unsuccessful. I used the debit card to pay insurance and business cards. So, I knew exactly how much I was able to spend. This put me in the red and made my insurance late on two occasions. I was never able to get refunded after that. I was unable to get in touch with Vistaprint. It caused me to have to change to another debit card, extra charges for the new debit card, time and frustration getting the new card set up. This also caused the place where I used to load the card to stop paying their fee to let me load my card there. I could take the card in to load, but it would not allow any transactions to go through. So, presently, I have no debit card. Please contact me by mail.

I ordered 70 Christmas cards to be printed with my family names inside the card. I had ordered from them last year. I completed my order on December 4, 2009 and their website stated that the order would arrive by December 11, 2009. On December 12, 2009, I called their customer service to ascertain why my order had not even been completed, let alone shipped. They informed me that the order was being delayed because of a free mouse pad that they had included in my order. The cards had been printed but were being held until they could send the mouse pad, which I didn't really want, with the cards in the same shipment just to save them money on shipping. I told them to send the cards asap and they told me they would try.
On December 20, 2009, I once again contacted their customer service center in Jamaica only this time I was not trying to find my order. I was going to cancel it and demand a refund to my credit card. They said that the order was once again not sent because of the dumb mouse pad. I will never use this company for any reason whatsoever and would gladly tell anyone I have contact with to do the same. They have no real concept of what it takes to satisfy the customer first. They seem more motivated by the idea of doing what is best for them first.
There was no economic of physical damage in this issue I had with this organization. But the stress it caused having to make them understand the simple idea of just sending the completed order by itself, makes me want not to trust any online company in the future. My wife was upset more so than I was because she had gotten pictures made of our grandchildren to put in these cards and we were not able to even use or send them out. What has happened to the idea of the customer is always right.

One of my major complaints about this company is they advertise one thing, but there is no follow through. They win the confidence of the customers by supplying a decent, somewhat inexpensive product, but when there is an issue or question about design, charges, etc., one cannot contact them because now they are fully self-serve now. At one time while building their company and customer base, they listed an 800# with which you could communicate. How does a company operate printing services without having a representative accessible who can answer questions about printing, dimensions, design, measurements, etc.? Not only that, the order was wrong. I was overcharged and there is no recourse for my account because there is no one to talk to about it.

In November, I placed an order for stationary for my business, it never arrived. According to Vistaprint, it had been delivered and was signed for (not by me obviously!). They resend it and it arrived weeks later. Foolhardy, I dared to place another order on 1 December, Christmas cards and promotional material for my business. Like the previous order in November, it didn't arrive.
Vistaprint said it had been delivered and was signed for (not by me obviously!). Parcelforce UK said it had contained insufficient postage and had been returned to sender (e.g. Vistaprint London) like the previous time. Vistaprint sent the December order again. But incredibly, again with insufficient postage and hence I have been informed by Parcelforce that it has been returned to sender again (Vistaprint London).
My advice: if you order something because you need it, especially if you are a business, don't count on Vistaprint. More infuriatingly, now I need to try to get my money back. If necessary, I will take them to the small claims court though. What a shambles! My business lost the marketing opportunity of sending business cards in its first year of trading. This will never happen again because I will never ever use Vistaprint again. Furthermore, I spend lots of time trying to get hold of Vistaprint. They have no phone numbers. Vistaprint offers 50% off on their holiday cards. You must go through a long series of steps in order to upload your artwork, etc. At the end, you discover that their free shipping or standard shipping takes 21 days. If you want it even within 7 days, it's an additional $19.95. They refer to this as priority shipping, which presumably means priority mail, which would cost something like $3, not $19.95. In addition, they flood you with offers that you must turn down.
One of them is for a stamp device which allows you to stamp your return address on an envelope. It looks like this costs $1.49. However, when they total up what you've spent, it turns out that it is actually $10.49. So I tried to remove that from my order. There is no way to do this. There is no remove/edit button. So then I tried to hit back on my browser. This doesn't work either and says your cart is empty. When I then log out and then back in to examine my order, it has included the $10.49 and the $19.95 and tells me that it's too late. The order is processing, which means you're out of luck, it's been submitted and you are not allowed to make any changes. Infuriating.

I bought some business cards online from Vistaprint for what seemed like a good price at the time. Unfortunately, my wife, who pays the family bills, did not notice the recurrent $12.95 bill from the same company every month thereafter for about a year. I buy used books online with some regularity, and the amount was about that much, so she paid no mind until they raised the charge to $14.95. Only then did she go back through the bills and notice that it was the same company and the same amount every month.
I called Vistaprint and raised hell, of course. They told me that I had signed up for some sort of low-cost buying club when I bought the cards. This was news to me. I certainly never took advantage of whatever deal they say I signed up for. I told the young lady with whom I spoke to cancel whatever service it was and suggested that she go into a legitimate line of work. I paid the last Discover bill that included the Vistaprint bill, and then I canceled my Discover card. I thought that was the end of it, but yesterday, many months after I took those actions, I received a bill for $248.17 from the CRB collection agency in Sylvania, Ohio. I shall call them and complain, but I'm expecting the worst. Vistaprint is worse than a bad case of athlete's foot.
