Ap9 rewards took money from my business account, which I did not authorize. I have only ordered business cards from Vista Printing. I do not want any type of reward. The same thing happened last month.

I had an awful frustrating experience with this company. I ordered free business cards and some non-free items that were never delivered. I was unable to find a way of communicating with them as their email address or telephone number were not working. To top that up, I got signed up to some holiday club, and it took me ages to cancel this unrequested direct debit. I am still waiting for my business cards! Avoid at all costs. Well, dodgy.
Loss of money for the order that never arrived and a few months of direct debit at $10 per month.

I wanted to add to the list of complaints. I was actually pleased wth whatever I have ordered from the company Vista Print in the past. HOWEVER. a few months ago I thought I had a zero balance on one of my credit cards and when I received a bill in the mail was surprised. I found a charge of $14.95 from a company in Connecticut (A shopping club?) When I called my credit card company they told me I had been charged that amount for 7 months! I called the number that was on the bill and though I had a hard time speaking with someone who did not really speak English, I was told I signed up when I had ordered from Vista Print! What a scam. I was out over one hundred dollars and they were not plannning on doing anything about it!

I have been charged $14.95/month for the past 6 months and possibly more, for something I did not authorize. After reading some of the statements by others, I contacted my bank to see if I was being charged such a fee. To my surprise, I was. I was given a phone number to call (888-243-6185) and I was advised to go to my branch office and file a report.
Deducting $14.95/month from my account without authorization sometimes causes an overdraft on my account. I am not financially able to pay for charges that I did not authorize.

I ordered 2,000 business cards from VistaPrint, thinking that they were a legitimate company. Now, months later, I am hit with a random $14.95 charge that bears their name. I barely have any money and this could have overdrawn me. I am not trying to spend $14.95 on nothing. I have reported the company to the FBI and I will be either getting a refund, or forcefully reversing the charges. I might even change my debit card number. VistaPrint is a SCAM, stay far away.

In June of 2007, I ordered free business cards from Vista Print totaling a little over 12 dollars and there was no mention of being enrolled in any rewards club. I was out to dinner with family and attempted to use my credit card, which is hardly ever used, and to my surprise it was DENIED. Well,as soon as I got home to look at my statement there was a charge for $74.95 from Vista Print rewards in 12/07. When I spoke with a customer serv rep the first time they said they hadn't charged anything to my account and then told me to have a nice day and hung up on me. I called again the next day and the customer service rep said I had signed up for this service back in June and when I asked them to send me some sort of proof, refund my account and to cancel my membership this customer service person all of a sudden doesn't speak any English but manages to blurt out have a nice day and then proceeds to hang up the phone. I will be filing fraud with my credit card company!
I'm still waiting for that refund.

I ordered Christmas photo cards through Vista Prints website. The cards were mailed to me on Nov. 4 and I was told it would take 14 days to arrive. I live on Guam, so that sounded right. It is now Dec 10 and the cards only arrived today. Two weeks ago I attempted to cancel the order but the 1-800 number listed at the website is not functional from Guam. My mother in law in Tennessee had to call the number for me. She asked for a direct phone number and/or email address I could use to contact them. She was told there was no direct number and no email to give as no one checks their emails. She cancelled the order for me. However, like I said, the cards arrived today, Dec 10. The envelope they came in was open because it was not sealed. The postcards were horrendous looking. The printing I requested put on the card Happy Holidays from Guam was printed right across the picture not off to the side in the text box. Thank God my credit card was successfully refunded because there is no way for me to even contact this horrible company! Horrible product and horrible customer service.

AP9*PASSPORTTOFUN+-V for $14.95. I had bought nothing from them.
I called the 1-800 # under the listing and it said their had been a error, then a beep, and said I had reached member services, then the hours--and that was all. I knew I wasn't a member of anything so I did a search and came up with numerous complaints and cautions of this membership scam.
So I'm now going to take the advice of Consumeraffairs.com and talk to my bank about disputing the charges under the fair credit billing act (which means they have to look at the charges and the company has to come up with proof of purchase); and I'm also going to file a complaint for fradulant charges and send a certified letter to the company asking to cancel my membership and ask for a receipt saying they have read it. This is something very serious to watch for. Don't order from vistaprint.

I ordered some postcards from Vista Print at the end of Oct. 2007 to get my business name out there in the community. The account/card that I used is only used for this business once a week and it's not used for anything else, but within a week of my purchase from Vista Print someone charged my account for a purchase from Amazon.com. I have never even visited that website and I certainly do not have an account with them. When I contacted Amazon.com, they said that the information they had did not match the information that the bank had. So to me this is obviously someone stealing numbers and buying things with them.

Just found that I've been paying $14.95 for something I never authorized. Brian--from vistarewards told me that the act of clicking on that window automatically enrolled me. In July my spouse and I purchased business cards from Vistaprint.com. On October 3, 2007 while balancing our checking account we were shocked to see it negative over $500! Apparently, every month without our knowledge or consent Vistaprint charged $14.95 to our account. This accumulated to almost $50 which caused several other fees to overdraft in our account. All the fees added up to almost $500! Fortunately, our bank excused around $300 of the fees.
We finally located a contact number for Vistaprint. A customer service rep stated that when I made an order on Vista.com I clicked on a box that enrolled me into the APL discount club (charged $60). The discounts were not valid anywhere near us. I said I wanted to cancel the membership NOW and that I never approved to the charges. On November 2, 2007 I noticed there was another charge for $14.95! I called APL and spoke to another customer service rep. who agreed to cancel the membership and refund a month of fees. I asked her to refund all the fees that were removed from my account without permission and I was told that was not possible. I discovered that APL Passport and Vistprint are owned by the same company! Therefore, I feel like my family has been a victim of Internet fleecing. I called Vistaprint, made this accusation, and asked to receive a full refund and was told no problem. I have yet to see ANY refund on my account. Please assist my family get this money back!

I ordered *free* postcards from Vista Print in May 2007. (Even though they were free, I still got charged for a number of other things, including extremely high shipping.) About a week later, I began receiving calls to my cell phone which I NEVER use (but had used with Vista Print due to the fact that I was moving). I googled the number and found out it was a company in the Bahamas and Vista Print had sold my number.
Some people were getting calls multiple times a day. I have only received a few of these calls. I saw that many of the people were also getting fraudulant charges to their credit cards used to purchase items through Vista Print, so I began watching my statements and, sure enough, a charge of $14.95 appeared in June. I googled it, found out it was in fact through Vista Print, and found a long list of people who had similar fraudulant charges added without their authorization.
I immediately called my bank and informed them, got the phone number for the company, called and demanded a refund and to be taken off their list. The charges come in the form of various names, but often begin with AP9. There are no memberships benefits or rewards. Simply a scam.

When Vista sent me business cards that were not like the version I saw and ordered online (i.e. background too dark, font too light) so I tried to get replacements. No dice. I went back online and designed the cards myself. I paid for glossy cards, but what I got back were matte cards.
I see that other people have complained about wierd charges on their credit cards and feel Vista Print is to blame. I have found some unexplained charges but never connected them to VistaPrint but now I'll go back and check again.

BEWARE. If you don't click on ANYTHING extra with this company (and I mean nothing...no free anything)...and just select your free product, KNOW THIS: You will pay more for shipping than if you pay for the products (which are already priced extremely high). They offer the products for 50% off or free, making them a good deal, but they go up significantly on their shipping. I am fiing with the BBB about this, since it is clear misrepresentation. Still, it is still an affordable printing service, even with the higher illegal shipping charges. Of coure, this is only if you don't click on anything else...just the product you were initially going after. Good Luck and Buyer Beware!

I noticed a charge on my October bank account statement from Passport to Fun. (I haven't double checked oether statements yet) First of all, I had never heard of this co. and knew factually that I had not made a debit card purchase through them. About 3 weeks prior to this, I had ordered brochures from VistaPrint(charge was shown on my account). I googled Passport to Fun and found the innumerable articles about this scam.
I called VistaPrint and spoke with a customer service rep there and told him why I was calling and that I was aware of the numerous scam articles that are resulting from this very problem. I asked him 3 different times how Passport received my credit card info if I had not given it to him. I never got a straight answer - only that if I had signed up for a membership, I would be charged for it. I asked for written documentation which he couldn't provide either. He finally told me that I would be credited within 7-10 business days for the amount. I emphatically told him that I would not only follow up, but asked that he not put me in a position of having to turn this over for legal assistance.
I called my bank, they were wonderful! They have cancelled my card and are issuing a new one with a different number. They will be on the lookout for the credit - even under a different business name. I was also told by the bank that sometimes charges can come through under different business names (so change the account #!) I'm really a nice person, but can sure sound otherwise when I need to get results!!!

I could not get a hold of anyone quick enough. Since I contacted my bank right away he said to try to deal with the company first then they would help if needed. We received an email ad from Vistaprint, offering great prices for business cards on-line. Since we are a small, start-up company in need of business cards, we thought we'd try their service. I went through the whole process of setting up an account, uploaded our logo and created business cards for someone in my company. As soon as I clicked on the order cards button, a pop-up window appeared offering me 20% off my order if I just completed a brief survey. I am very busy and did not have the time, so I just closed the pop-up window by clicking the X at the top and proceeded with my order. Everything seemed fine.
Today, I downloaded my company American Express activity report on-line and found a charge of $12.95 from some company called BusinessMax. I had no idea who they were nor remembered ever doing business with them. I called the 888 phone # that appeared on my statement, and the automated message only allows you to put in your account # (which I do not have because I never signed up for one). I searched on-line and found a website for a legitimate company called Business Max, www.businessmax.com. But when I looked at their website, there was a link right at the top of their site saying, "Please click here for info re: credit card charges by the other Business Max." I did just that and the next page contains information about the fraudulent company also going by the name Business Max, along with testimonials by other consumers who had been ripped off as well as what they did to have the recurring charges removed.
I think it's pretty sad that a legitimate company has to waste room on their website to protect themselves from being mistaken for a deceitful company!! One of the testimonials explains that apparently there is very small writing at the bottom of that pop-up window saying if you click anywhere in the window, you agree to be charged $12.95 per month by Business Max for their service (what kind of service they provide is never explained)! So even if you do not take their survey, you cannot get past the pop-up window unless you close it! Please tell me this practice is illegal? Has this company found a loop-hole in the system which allows them to charge unsuspecting consumers a monthly fee without their actual consent?
I called Vistaprint and inquired as to their affiliation with Business Max. After getting nowhere with the sales associate, I asked for a supervisor. When Ramain got on the phone, I asked him the same question. He said that Business Max is a non-transactional company that provides a service to customers who take advantage of the 20% off or $10 cash back offer. I explained that I never agreed to the offer. His response was, "Yes you did, if you clicked on the box!" I was infuriated and demanded that all my information be removed from their records and that a full refund be credited to my credit card. He then passed me over the customer service department, and Yassania was just as vague in her responses to my questions.
I had no idea there were other stories out there almost identical to my experience; however, after doing a Google search, I found numerous stories, lawsuits and reports to the BBB. Apparently, they are also somehow associated with a company in Stamford, CT. They are also affiliated with MWI or Memberworks. I have not investigated them as of yet, but plan to.

Placed an order on Saturday, June 18, 2005. I ordered a set of graduation invitations and asked that they be rushed. I checked my account on Monday morning and noticed that the word "us" was missing on the first line of my invitation. When I did my final proof of the invitation, prior to purchasing, the word "us" was present in my document. I called and asked how that could have happened to my document and I was told that there is no text preview at Vistaprint. I explained to the lady that I understood that; however, I know that when I clicked the button to order the invitations, the word "us" was in my document. The lady then told me that I made the mistake!! I informed her that I did not change a word in the top line. I did change a word on the third line from "for" to "honoring." It was then told to me that I did not know what I was doing, I removed the word us.

I on-line designed, ordered and received a professional 4 color postcard at a reasonable price; good service. Several months later, I was questioned about charges on a company credit card that I'd used to pay for the postcards. They are rip-off artists operating under a legitimate business. BEWARE!

I was signed up for a memebership to BusinessMax at $12.95 per month by VistaPrint which was done according to them through a popup window. I use Mozilla Firefox with no popup windows allowed! BusinessMax both insist that I'm not due a refund but out of their goodness they refunded the most current month. VistaPrint basically said too bad!
Total of $25.90 charged to my credit card without my authorization.

VistaPrint engages in the scam practice of signing unsuspecting customers up for an on-line buying club. I ordered business cards, and VistaPrint claims I clicked on a pop-up for $10 off which automatically enrolled me in a discount buying club which placed a $11.95/mo charge on my business VISA account under the generic name of Business Max. I NEVER touch pop-ups, and even if I did, I would NEVER knowingly select to join an on-line buying club for $11.95 a month. When I called to complain, their Call Center told me they get lots of similiar complaints, but they said there is nothing I they can do since they have my E-mail address as proof of my intent to sign up for the on-line buying club. What a scam!
Since the charge was small and the business name generic, we didn't notice the charge buried amongst much larger business charges on the VISA report. We were billed for several months before we caught and cancelled this unwanted service.

Vistprint's re-order screen has a trap. I re-ordered custom-designed business cards and their site brought up my card from a previous order just fine. Then, I clicked OK, and the order came in on a different (and unacceptable) type of paper. It seems that it retrieves the previous order okay, but the customer still has to go through the paper selection process--which I failed to notice. Customer Care said, too bad, all we can do is give you a special sale price to have them printed again.
Even though they cut me a break on the price, I had to pay twice for this new set of business cards. If 100 people per month get snared by that gotcha, they must get a lot of extra business. They didn't sound enthusiastic about fixing that problem...I wonder why.

Five years ago I signed up at register.com and was told get 250 business cards free!!!, and never got them. I signed up at register.com again this year and saw the free vistaprint card offer again and thought why not? Again-no cards. I saw the link for free cards again and tried again but their site said a customer with my info was already registered. I called the number and the less than helpfull CSR said they couldn't find my info. Classic bait and switch.
False advertising led me to delay my company advertising due to their bait and switch. And oh yes, a 9.99 charge on my debit card unoticed for months that I can't remove.

I have purchased business cards from Vistaprint. The cards arrived, but the quality is inferior to my previous orders. Alignment is poor and on all cards appear a 'printing splash'. It is useless, because I can't possibly hand these cards out! I e-mailed 6 times now to customer complaints without any response. The website provides a 1-800.. number. I reside in Taiwan and it seems impossible to make contact via phone. What should I do?

I designed an order and approved an item with my initials. After placing this in my shopping cart, I went to work on another design, not making any changes to my item in the cart. Decided just to order my first item. Didn't think that I needed to check anything. Just for the heck of if, I check my order history and the text from the second project was placed over the first design. So I called customer service, where I was basically told that I was out of luck because it was longer than 15 minutes since the order was placed. It was only shipping that I had actually paid for because it was one of those free deals that I get all the time, it wasn't the money that bothers me. It was the fact that I was told nothing could be done, they didn't care that I was a regular customer.

I ordered online business cards. The cards were received with the wrong cell phone number. I recall checking the proof sheet twice but did not retain a copy. I requested that they correct my order and they indicated that they do not check proofs and that they have sophisticated enough machines to print whatever was typed. I could not get them to send me any evidence to substantiate this.

I ordered business cards for a business I was thinking at the time. I paid for the cards and was going to charge me $9.95 for a membership fee. I charged it by Bank debit card. I looked at my bank statement and found that they were charging me every 2 weeks! I then decided to cancel the membership. So I called their number at 888-840-6296. The number was not in service. I then remembered that I got it at VistaPrint.com. So I thought it would be faster if I called them at their "consumer service care" at 1-888-721-6214. I got in touch with a man telling me that I couldn't contact BusinessMax. He said the he hadn't heard of the number and gave me the actual number, 1-800-735-2244. So I called and gave me a decoration company. I went online and typed in the original phone number and found your website with its numerous complaints on BusinessMax.

I designed a business card that I submitted to VistaPrint to print. The proof came back and looked OK (no typos); I approved it. When the business cards arrived I was shocked at the low quality. The text was blurred and the graphic was horribly rendered (dark and bad color match). I would have been too embarrassed to hand out such a business card so I trashed them and went to my local printer for a professional job. I decided to contact VistaPrint to voice my displeasure, not asking for a refund or reprint. I got back a generic e-mail that was personalized explaining the limits of their liablility. Even their e-mail response showed poor customer service and low standards.

I went to reorder business cards. The first set were on really nice stock. The 2nd set was on the cheapest stock you can imagine. What a ripoff! When I complained they said they'd recently changed their stock but felt it was every bit as good as their other stock (YEAH RIGHT!). They should have DISCLOSED a complete change in stock like that. Add to that EXTREMELY aggressive marketing techniques? Phone calls, emails after my order. THESE GUYS GIVE THE WEB A BAD NAME. AVOID!

This company offered free business cards online if I was willing to have their website printed on the back of the cards. I received the cards and only the cards with no invoice. They looked great. They had printed on the back "Business Cards are FREE at www.vistaprint.com!" I looked on my credit report and noticed a charge that I did not recognize. I looked at previous billing statements and found the same charge. So I called the number on the credit card billing statement and I got a deadline.
So I looked online and found complaints about this company on this site. It turned out that there was a case pending in California against this company. I called the company through a number I found on this site and not theirs, and discovered that I could cancel the account and get a refund for the current month. I was then transferred to another person who told me that I could not receive any refund for any previous month because I received a terms of agreement in the mail that said I could not receive any refunds beyond the current month. I did not receive any agreement in the mail and I definitely did not sign anything that said I agreed to those terms.

I ordered business cards online. I was in a rush for an audio convention and needed them in 3 days (Friday). I picked my design, filled it out and agreed that this was the one I'm going to buy by placing my initials underneath it and saying that everything is correct on it. With that in the shopping cart, I started looking at other designs since my roommate wanted a card also. Without making any changes to the cart, I went back into it and placed the order. It arrived Thursday afternoon with a completely different design than the one I picked. I called the customer service and after a lot of arguing, they told they'd replace it but it won't be at my house until Tuesday which doesn't do me any good since the conference is over on Monday.
I wanted my money back since now I'd have to rush to Keinko and get cards made up last minute at extra cost. I was transferred to a manager who told me that the web site is automated and does not make any mistakes. I was also told that they're not in business to give money back to customers and to have fun trying to fight it with my credit card company. They are the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, and I'm a regular online shopper. Beware!
