I ordered simple business cards and they came out with a very off color tint. I tried to contact customer service, you know, for the satisfaction guarantee but never got an answer. I ordered from another online discount place and the cards came out with no problem. Beware!

We placed an order for 500 trifold for our business. The order was placed online and the graphics uploaded using their online system. The preview was accepted and properly processed. After 2 weeks, we received this: "We were unable to process your order and unfortunately had to cancel it. We sincerely apologize for this and assure you this isn't a typical Vistaprint experience. We'll be issuing you a full refund shortly. Please contact our customer service center at 1.866.614.8002 for assistance with your order. We're very sorry and are working hard to make sure this doesn't happen again."

As anyone can imagine, when a business places an order for trifolds is because something is into place to happen. Of course, now it will cost us money and we'll have to re-design the trifold and order from another place because we used their online system. People must be aware that it is not worth to even invest time looking at their site, because they came up with the excuse that our logo was not flattened. Okay! Their system performed the perfect preview and didn't report anything wrong. Nobody emailed us during 2 weeks and now we received a message saying it was canceled without any explanation. Very unprofessional! This now will cost us time and money + postponing!

After calling and being put on hold, I requested a phone number for their legal department and was given 781-652-6100 that is a fax number. This is what anyone can expect from Vistaprint! As a computer business, time is money and we're always in a hurry. This is unacceptable and should not happen to others. For us, it is a lesson that we must share so others don't commit the same mistake.

This is the second time I requested things made from Vistaprint and did not get my order timely! I requested invitations to a party whose invitations are too late to request now since this is their second try at getting it right but failed again! At this point, there is nothing they can do because I now look unreliable in the eyes of my mother-in-law, whose party I made the invitations for. Never ever again! The door is completely closed!

I paid extra for 7-day shipping. First invoice said the order would arrive by 1/25/13 priority. On the 24th, I received a new invoice saying the order would arrive by 1/29/13 - 11 days. A previous order I placed arrived within 10 days and it came regular USPS. For some reason, the company switched to UPS on the second order; charged more; and the order took as long to get here as it would have paying regular rates. I contacted the company and they said, "It takes 7 to 10 business days for you to receive your checks." That was not what I paid for. They apologized for the inconvenience. That was it. No credit for additional money I paid. No assurance that they would change the website to reflect their true intent. No more business from me.

I am a graphic designer who ordered magnetic truck signs and constructions yard signs and frames from Vista for a new client. A few months later, my client mysteriously asked for his art files. Yesterday, I learned that after six weeks of use, the ink on his truck signs had deteriorated beyond readability. His yard signs never did fit inside their frames, which he called "cheap". He wasn't angry; he just took his files and went elsewhere. I contacted Vista about their "100% satisfaction guarantee", and they said too much time had passed (8 months). I not only lost a client, but I'm also out the money I'll be spending to order new signs for him.

I cannot believe the quality of the business labels I ordered! They were horrible. I ordered metallic address labels for my business and I received dark gray labels with a lighter shade of gray lettering. The font was so small - it's illegible. I can't use these! Thought I would try the email marketing service. It was down this morning and still down tonight. I phoned customer service and got a call center in Jamaica. Lots of noise in the background of people laughing and cutting up. The woman said the problem wasn't on their end, although the message distinctly said that Vistaprint was having technical difficulties. The woman told me I had a popup problem but didn't know to tell me to fix the problem. Then she told me to switch browsers. No change. She wrote up a ticket and said Vistaprint would get back to me in 3-4 business days. I am running a business! I can't wait 3-4 business days.

Vistaprint has become so lame and out of touch. I have more problems now than I ever did with billing and with technical issues. There are lots of hungry engagement marketing companies out there that are eager to have my business. I am moving on, Vistaprint. You don't give a damn about your customers, and sending your jobs out of the country is another big mistake. Talking with these robots just doesn't cut the mustard.

I have an email from them stating I would receive my money back and still no money has been given back to me. They claim they cannot submit it through PayPal which is how they received the payment. Your website/company is horrible! First, it started with your rush delivery. Your rush delivery is not expedited. For paying that much money, you would think it would be delivered faster. Secondly, I purchased a Groupon for your company and I just placed my Groupon order. I received three different emails from your company. My shopping cart had three different amounts! One link tallied my total to $30.43; another link tallied my total to $43.66; and the Groupon link tallied my total to $50.91. Same order three different totals! That is ridiculous! And of course, the most expensive $50 order is the website you are to go to, to redeem your Groupon. The other two carts would not allow a field for the promo code. That is horrible service!

I used your chat option to try and ask questions about my order, and yet again, your service stinks! I put my concern in, a message populated stating a representative will be with me shortly, and here it is 23 minutes later, with no message, no status, absolutely nothing! Thirdly, my Groupon was for $54, my order came out to $50 and change. Where is the rest of the money?! Did it go towards my shipping costs? The itemized total did not tally what the difference is. Where is it? I've already issued a complaint to Groupon. Your website and offers are inconsistent and extremely frustrating. I will never order personal or business items with you again.

Here is the reply I received: “Thanks for contacting Vistaprint, where it's easy to make an impression for less. Resolved. Thank you for choosing Vistaprint.” Resolved! That is the message I received. This company does not care about customer service or anything that looks like quality.

Numerous orders, some never fulfilled, refund hold up & more! - I have used Vista print several times over the last 2 years, both privately and with my business. They have always been good at replacing what isn't correct. However, they rarely get jobs correct. My last endeavor was 1500 rack cards originally ordered in the beginning of October. As of today, I received 4 orders of them, none of them being correct. Finally they decided to give up on trying and refund my fee. However, that took almost 2 weeks! I was offered a free printing of the cards to go with my refund but the customer advocate dept. reneged on this offer after they were able to push the refund through to have it completed in 10 days rather than 2 weeks.

I have dealt with numerous customer service reps and tier 1 and tier 2 managers. I have had them laugh at me, be rude with me, told me there were no managers on duty, and made me repeat my circumstances no less than 20 times. I am done dealing with them. They wasted 3 months of my time and kept my money so long that I have missed the coveted holiday season marketing altogether. And they think the numerous hours I spent on the phone with them, reworking graphics to their liking, and missing the advertising season are worth just a refund of my money. They are wrong.

I wanted to print my wedding invitations, and my experience was very good (I called about pricing of the urgent shipping and Howard replied the call and was very courteous) until I submitted my order (it was in the cart) and went to check out when within minutes the price has changed from 50% off to 0% off, which equals 100% increase in price. Outrageous. I called the company, and they kindly offered me a 25% decrease in the full price, which made me less angry but did not change the fact that it was changed so drastically. I believe it is not an honorable company based on this experience, and I do not plan to buy from them again. The prices are wonderful, but because of these intrigues, the final price is comparable to cards that look better.

This company is awful. First, I bought a groupon which was a nightmare to actually apply, seemingly purposeful. Also, their shipping charges are outrageously expensive. When you check out, you have to very carefully navigate through many pages of products that they are trying to push on you. It would be very easy to accidentally buy extra stuff you don't want. In fact, when you do finally get to the final checkout page, they then try to scam you into buying address labels. I actually had to call them to get the groupon applied, and the person on the phone was even trying to push products on me. I have never seen such poor tactics. I would recommend that you completely avoid these clowns, and I haven't even seem the cards that I ordered yet. There are many legit companies out there doing the same service without the nonsense. Buyer beware and stay away!

I have had a very good experience with Vistaprint for several years. Suddenly, I was noticing lots of error messages popping up as I was updating my website. And often, after I've published, I look at my website and find that words have dropped out, the font color has dropped out, and sentences shift. This is unprofessional! I cannot do business like this. Everything must be perfect! And I am noticing charges for things I didn't request like a blog and email services related to my website. When I called last week to have the charges reversed, I had the worst time communicating with the customer rep. He was as dumb as a doorknob. Today, while trying to order 250 postcards, I see Vistaprint is charging me $11 in postage for standard delivery for a $33 order! This is one-third of the cost of the postcards! No way does it cost $11 to mail 250 postcards from Eastern Canada to New York.

Right now, I am on the phone with customer service. The rep, another dummy, couldn't find my record. It took him over 5 minutes. So he turned me over to a supervisor. This took another several minutes. The supervisor turned out to be delightful. She is dropping the shipping charges. The Vistaprint party is over. It was too good to be true. I will now be looking for another marketing company that is not so greedy.

I usually use TruPrint (SnapFish). But being based in the UK, they don't deliver to the Netherlands. So I tried VistaPrint. I was offered a 50% discount for a calendar. However as I created the calendar, various costs kept getting added on. Firstly there was the uploading of my images - surprisingly this was free. But then there were various colour schemes to choose - I ended up paying for coloured grid lines - I couldn't see how to remove that charge. But the final straw was that at the check-out stage. I was suddenly charged 4+ for VAT at 22%, and then the p&p came to $7.50. The total cost was nearly $17 for a calendar originally advertised at less than $8.

Now VistaPrint is based in the Netherlands so why couldn't they have sent my calendar electronically over there for printing and charged me for the local Dutch postage. But no - they printed the damn thing in the UK and then sent it by airmail to the Netherlands. Stupid company. At least it arrived. During all of this, I was offered a good discount for a desk calendar. I started to create it using the same photos already uploaded. But when I got to the check-out, I saw that I was being charged $4 for uploading the self-same images. I declined. Back to TruPrint, I guess.

I could not raise a complaint with them. They ignored emails and their European staff, who have rather poor English skills on the phone, were just hopeless. I tried to "escalate" my complaint but I suspect that the "customer services" staff gets marked down for referring a complaint up the line, so they just will not do it despite saying that they will. I ordered a calendar for my family with personal pictures of my daughter - for child protection reasons, I had hoped these would be kept private. I was sent a calendar with 12 cat and dog pictures on. So, it appeared that the pictures of my daughter have been sent to a complete stranger! This I find deeply concerning. The calendar was of reasonable quality.

I have been phoning and e-mailing the company who have failed to address my concerns. It has taken several days for them to even agree to send my product again although it concerns me, yet again, that the pictures will be sent to the wrong address. The e-mails have been generic and have failed to address my concerns. There has been no apology for the time taken chasing my product, e-mailing and certainly no apology for sending pictures of my child into the wrong hands. For the sheer level of customer service alone, I will never use Vistaprint again and I am still chasing the company for the satisfactory resolution of my complaint.

Well it seems like we've all been fooled by yet another "too good to be true" promotion. I am outraged with Vistaprint! After applying for your advertised "99p" personalized calendar, I took time to choose the right photos as a present for my mother, only to find that at the end of the checkout, the price of the calendar had gone up to nearly full price! This is only the tip of the iceberg though. After I had finally managed to pay the correct price for the calendar and the extortionate postage fee, I waited three weeks. Then a package was delivered to me, inside contained not 1, but 4 copies of another family's calendar, utterly useless! There's more.

I then called the 0800 number on the website, which took me to a foreign call center and after being put on hold for far too long, had a painful discussion with the lady on the other end of the phone who did not fully understand my English and vice versa. I was then directed to an email where I would have to prove to them that the order I received was not mine! After taking photos of the incorrect delivery and attaching them to an email explaining my situation, the email was unable to send as the recipient had too many emails in their inbox!

I am now completely stuck on what to do and I just want my money back. Completely appalled by this service. If you create a national television advertisement, expect to have a huge influx of customers and be prepared for it!

My website hosting with Vistaprint has been horrible and an absolute nightmare from day one. Vistaprint posted my home address, yes my home address, on my mobile website and told me they would try to take it down within 48 hours. It was there for two weeks! What an extreme breach of privacy and safety! It didn't come down until I finally continued calling and found a customer service rep who knew what she was doing and erased it immediately! This is not an isolated incident because I saw someone else complaining about this on their site.

Once I made up my mind to drop this worthless hostess service, I was charged $20 to get my domain name back. What?! I should have been charging them for the wasted time it took to build on their horrible hosting site! My new website was professionally built and ready to be uploaded but after I paid the ransom fee, they informed me that I had to wait 24 hours for them to release it! What?! That 24 hours turned into over 48 hours because they sent the email to the wrong email address! I specifically had a discussion about where to send the email during the release conversation. After I called to find out why it had not been released, Vistaprint had the nerve to ask me if I could ask the owner of the email address to forward the email! Seriously!

Vistaprint needs to stick to printing with their con prices and extortious shipping costs. If I didn't still have Groupons to use, Vistaprint would not be a part of my vocabulary ever again. In fact, it would be considered a swear word. Even the Groupons are worthless because they can't be used for promotions. They can't be used to pay for website services. They can't be used to pay to change my domain name. Vistaprint has stalled my business and interrupted my life tremendously. I do not recommend them at all!

I have previously ordered a large banner from them and business cards. I've been very pleased with the quality, ease of designing the products online and the customer service. The banner arrived without the necessary support corner pieces. I called customer service. They did not question me at all but were apologetic and had the pieces shipped out immediately at no charge. After setting up a website, I decided to change the domain name (my fault!). They said I would need to start over with another website in order to do that (no charge to me). I asked if there wasn't a faster way and they said I could buy the original domain name for $19 + tax which I did. That seemed reasonable to me. Customer service has been very helpful through all of this. I'm not a techie and they have walked me through each step and have been very polite. I opened a "free trial" website service for Vistaprint and cancelled on Day 16 (I found a web developer that offered more professional services). Upon calling Vistaprint to get the rights to my domain name, they told me first I had to wait 90 days before my domain was released to web space (basically future use); then 5 minutes later, she said I had to wait a full year to get my domain released for future use. Pissed, I asked to speak to a manager; and the manager stated, yes, definitely have to wait a year. Reason being, Vistaprint purchases the rights to your domain name through Tucows (google it). They pay Tucows $19.99 to hold the domain, thus allowing Vistaprint to offer to the end user for "free".

Now, I could pay $19.99 to have capability to transfer the domain to another host, but why in the ** would I pay that for a "free" service that I canceled?! Vistaprint is a total loser and unprofessional company regarding customer service. You will not speak to an American, as their customer service is definitely overseas. If you want a professional site done where you can own the rights to your domain, I highly suggest staying away from Vistaprint. I've now realized that there are a ton of sites you can use to purchase a domain and then outsource the work to a web developer to have a way better professionally designed site. I ordered Save the Date magnets for my wedding off of Vistaprint. First of all, you have to play their game. Depending on which link one clicks off of Google, I "checked out" with the same product ranging from $84-$180 with and without free shipping. Their ads are inconsistent and if I accidentally clicked on the wrong link, I would lose my original price and/or the free shipping. Next, I bought a living social advertising "$50 for $10" to be redeemed. I read through the fine print, but it was sketchy and apparently I "misinterpreted" the information. To use my living social coupon, I would get $50 off of the "original" price of $180. This is confusing since my original checkout price, without "purposefully" using a discount, was $84. They have a messy and elaborate system of discounts and promotions leaving a customer such as myself with great frustration.

I ordered checks a few months ago from Vistaprint with the thought of saving a little money rather than paying the fees my bank charges. The information that I entered on the website to place my order was correct. I received my checks and checked the information to be sure it was correct, especially my name and address, name of bank, my account number, etc. The scary part is that I did not double check my routing number for my bank since that is not a number that I know from memory, but rather that I would have to find to check it.

I do not write checks often, so I did not realized immediately, but Vistaprint had printed a routing number on my checks that was not even close to my bank's routing number. Even more puzzling is the routing number that was printed on my checks and the accounts it is linked to. The routing number that was printed on my checks is linked to an account for funds to be sent to a Kenyan American for a person that had died. There was another connection for the same routing number to aid in the legal defense fund for an Imam in West Atlanta.

I tried to log into my Vistaprint account to check the numbers, etc, but I was not able to access it online. I requested for a password reset, but it's been about 45 minutes, and I still have not gotten that email. I called Vistaprint to complain and they acknowledged the error and are reprinting my checks. Of course, the customer service telephone is not answered here in the States, and the woman did not understand my concern over the error. My concern is that I wonder if I should be concerned that my checks were being used in some money laundering scheme or to fund terrorists or whatever. I will definitely check my order when I get it this time and double check everything! I do not think I will order checks from them again.

It is now May 14, 2012, and the order was still in process. I spoke to another customer service representative and he told me that the holdup was because I ordered a checkbook cover, not a custom cover, just a plain cover, and extra check registers to manually balance my checkbooks. These two accessories didn't require extra printing.

But for some reason, they caused an error in the system and the checks would not go to print. I asked the customer service representative what she could do for me. She just told me that they have lots of customers and don't monitor individual orders. I said it's unacceptable to give a shipment arrival date and have it pass and not provide updates on the website or in any communications to the customer. She would not put me in touch with a supervisor. She told me that I could either get a refund or re-order the checks, but the error still existed in the system and there was no way to know when the glitch would be resolved, so it likely would continue to be in process for a long time. I said that they should send me free checks and refund the money I paid for the time and inconvenience and the poor customer service. She said she couldn't do anything but re-order or refund. She didn't speak English well enough and she was not helpful. I assured her I would contact everyone I knew and advise them to not ever use Vistaprint for anything.

Vistaprint's website is very user-friendly and fast and I have been pleased with the discounts they have offered me for being a valued customer. I have nothing bad at all to say about Vistaprint and they certainly earned my business on a permanent basis. I would recommend Vistaprint to all my family, friends and co-workers.

The order was shipped on May 4th, which in fairness to the company stated 3 business days. However, the UPS ticket stated that the product was shipped 2nd day air and would be delivered on "or before" May 8th. So, I paid for Vistaprint to ship my item, UPS to transport it and to basically "rent" shelf space for two days as the package did not move over the weekend.

Had I not spent the $25.00 for rush 3 business day delivery, the product would not have set on a shelf space on Saturday and Sunday and would have actually been moving towards my location. Just now, a lady from Vistaprint called me, instead of contacting the BBB, who has my complaint and is trying to tell me that they did honor their end of the bargain. However, I paid for the package to move and not set on a shelf.

I was not able to go back and print off the previous page showing the original price that was much lower, so I could have proof. At first I thought I had lost my mind when the credit card statement came in showing the higher price, but it was confirmed that this was not an isolated incident when I later learned that another office coworker had the same thing done to him when he ordered two small car door magnets a day after my order. The billed prices were not just a little bit higher, but a lot higher - about 40% higher. This is stealing. I will not use, nor do I recommend anyone ever using Vistaprint. Their bait-and-switch business tactics are very unethical and I would think very illegal.

They could see it on their end but I still had to prove to them they had overcharged me. On my fourth attempt to collect my money, I demanded to speak with a supervisor who really seemed to know what she was doing and is going to follow up with me to see when the refund was or will be processed. They said I had to wait 1-2 billing cycles. As if I was not mad enough, I then went through the roof! They have had my money hostage since February 13 and it is now April 3 and it's going to take 1-2 billing cycles to refund my money now that they say they received my fax to prove I was double billed.

Again, they can see they double charged me but they seem to do all they can to get me more frustrated and go away. Well, I am a person of principle and integrity and they now know that tonight I am filing an online complaint with the NC Attorney General's Office and we will see just how quickly they can move my money back into my account then. The NC Attorney General's Office is the best there is at making companies do the right thing. I am not going away until my money is refunded and hopefully enough people will read how they operate and use another vendor to make their print materials, etc. I have never had any issues with their products or anything else before and I've used VP since their first conception. Soon afterward, we closed the restaurant and thus stopped buying from Vistaprint. They threw it all away and insulted me on the phone over a simple signature stamp. Basically, I ordered a signature stamp and saw my signature on the website and agreed to the order, etc. When the stamp arrived, it was blank! No signature, nothing at all on the stamp.

I called customer service expecting a simple resolution and to my surprise, they told me it was my fault and that I did not do something correctly. I asked them what their quality control process was so when the order was being processed and whoever fulfilled it saw it was blank, didn't they stop and think, hey we have a problem here. I was told that most of their work is automated and no quality checks are done on such a small order (insult #1).

So I asked for a supervisor expecting a resolution and she had a horrible attitude like I was a bother to her time. I asked her about their 100% satisfaction guarantee. She said that I should read their terms and conditions page. Then when I told her I had spent thousands in the past, she smartly said "that is not much, we have customer that spend much more than you and we wouldn't make a refund for them so why should we do it for you?". Well, I promptly chewed her out for being a complete idiot and had no business talking to the public and she is in no position to be a customer service supervisor. I used Vista Print years ago and had no problems. So when I started a new enterprise and needed business cards I went with them again. I originally was just going to order cards but they just kept offering more and more specials every time I tried to end the order. Since I had done business with them in years past with good results, I took advantage of the specials.

The ship time was much longer than expected and the quality for what I spent was disappointing. I ordered 1500 cards plus other items. The cards were the most disappointing for the final cost. The worst problem was that out of 6 boxes of cards, one whole box and one third of a second box are totally unusable because of a printing defect. The pretty red border has a big uneven blotch of white ink over parts of it that go all the way up to the top, covering the printed words on the card. It happened after the cards were printed because the white ink is smeared on top of the black and red printing. Also, there was no choice for type size for individual lines so the business name is not as large as I wanted even though there was room for it.

I was going to call them and could not find a phone number for them anywhere. So I googled complaints on them. After reading all the complaints, I'm going to watch my bank statements very closely, even though I paid with PayPal, so I shouldn't have any problems, which is why I use PayPal for all online transactions. I'll chalk this up to lesson learned and never use them again. I also did not realize they were a foreign company till after the sale. I always try to shop American whenever possible. From now on I'll shop local and support an American business even if it costs a little more. Peace and love.

I have emailed them twice letting them know this same story and even today this is their reps response: "Thanks for contacting Vistaprint, where it's easy to make an impression for less.

In 2006, I and a friend mine used my personal bank debit card to order some business cards through Vista Print since it was such a great price. About a month later, $14.99 began coming out of my checking account. I knew I did not purchase anything online except those cards. There was a 1-800 number on my bank statement for a place called Business Max. I called the number and the lady I spoke to told me that she had no record of me purchasing anything. I gave her my address and she didn't even have anyone with my name or address on her computer.

She wanted the number from my card and I told her that she already had that information or I wouldn't be able to call her. She just kept telling me that unless I gave her my number to my card that she could not help me. I talked with supervisor after supervisor to no avail. After about 6 months, I had to close my bank account out and open another one. I could not stop them from taking my money. My son did a search on Business Max and Vista Print when I finally figured it out and just closed the account.

I have made it my duty to let others know not to buy from Vista Print! They are a scam! They share your information, once they get it, with sister companies to take you money and you can't do anything about it. I had to close a bank account that I had for over 10 years. I hated starting all over with a new account.

Last March 2011, I purchased the website hosting package from Vistaprint which included a website, a blog, local search profile, email marketing, email and the SEO management system for my business.

I never expected this to be a première hosting service. I was aware that there were certain limitations as to what I could do with this service and things have been going well up until I called support in early January 2012. I wanted to remove the blog and local search profile from my service. The support representative said that she was able to do that for me and she proceeded to remove the services from my package. During the process, I refreshed my control panel and noticed that all of my web services, except those I requested to be removed were now disabled.

I informed the representative of the issue and she told me that because I have a package deal, I would have to renew my services for one year in order to get them turned back on even though I had three months remaining on my service contract. After explaining to her that I didn't have to renew for three more months, she continued to tell me that there was nothing she could do. After a few minutes of back and forth, I asked to speak to her manager.

When the manager and I spoke, I was told why the problem happened and the best she could do was to credit my account for one month of the remaining service time left over on the blog and local search profile for ending them early on the current service contract, but then I would still have to renew my service two months early.

I rely on my business website to provide my customers with services and information. The service representative at the Vistaprint caused a major problem that, for a time, affected traffic coming to my site. In order to correct the problem that they caused when they removed the blog and local search from my service package, they attempted to charge me to correct; even though they did resolve the problem and the site is functioning again, I have to renew my services two months early to avoid it from happening again. They are charging me for a problem they created. I had no choice but to accept their terms and pay for it so I wouldn't have the same problem happen in 30 days.

I received an email from Vistaprint offering me $40 worth of free products as I had used them before and all I had to pay was the shipping. I made a point of reading all the small print as I have worked in call centers for years and usually these offers have some sort of catch. However, this one seemed to be genuine so I went ahead and ordered my products that were to that value. I put in my offer code from the email and it reduced the cost to zero. I then went to pay and an error message came up and charged me in full so I contacted them via telephone. Big mistake.

They are by far the worst call center I have ever spoken to. They have no idea how to deal with customers who have problems with the website or just customer service in general. The error I was told was their side and other people had had this problem. I had to email the member of staff the email and he then contacted several departments and they tried to resolve it.

After being on the phone for an hour and not wanting to have wasted my time I held on as it is freephone. I was then transferred to a manager. The manager was even worse. The member of staff I had been speaking to had not even told her the situation so I then had to go through the entire situation again. In the end, she managed to use a code from another offer to get the price down but I was promised that if I paid this difference ($17) and the post and packaging then they would refund the $17 back to my card.

They would only refund this if I called back as it had to be authorized by a different department and she said it would take about half an hour. I refused, having been on hold for over an hour now and it being 11:30 pm in the evening UK time and the fact that it was their error. In the end, she agreed to put the refund through and would be back on the card within 10 working days.

One month later, still no refund. So I sent them an email asking where it was. I got back a reply saying that they had no record of my call or any details and in this case they would not be issuing a refund! Ridiculous! It was their poor set up error on the offer which caused the internet timeout error. I was promised a refund that they are not refusing to give even though it was confirmed by a manager. They are ignoring the fact that I received bad customer service and was on the phone for over an hour for something that was their error. They refused to complete a call verification which will have the details of someone confirming my entire conversation and the content of this email. They provided an offer that does not work or even exist. They have taken money off a card that was promised to be refunded and now not been. This is fraud.

Not to mention that the printing and products were poor anyway. The print was off color and the photo albums were shabby and flimsy. A child could have produced better. I am going to ensure that everyone knows the truth about Vistaprint and never even so much as considers using them as a new customer and pursue this until I am refunded! Do not ever use this company. They are fraudsters and thieves!

And maybe because I live in Alaska and they are in the Netherlands, I understand the postal delays.

But overall things have been great. Delivery has slowed down as orders use to come via United Parcel Service and I got them within a week. But the last few orders came via US Mail. After a few days I decided I did not want the online business card and I tried to transfer the domain name to the provider with whom I wanted to build my website. I was told I had to wait 60 days to do that. It has been closer to 90 days and I've written multiple emails to Vistaprint.

I have called their customer service and have been told a different story with every single contact. You never speak to the same person twice and I believe they will tell you anything just to get you off the phone. When I speak to their "customer support" in Jamaica, WI, only on my direct question did they tell me that they have no one to help on technical issues for their products (e.g. how they interface in computer programs). She asks me to hold and comes back to quickly to state: “I talked to my supervisor and he said basically we don't sell products like this. Our products are to peel off and hand write on with a pen." Ladies and gentlemen, this is one clueless individual. These are 10 to a page small shipping labels that correspond to most 2"x4" Avery labels. I'll just have to figure out how to set up the margins for each label on my own. Avery labels they're not.

For personal calling or business cards, they maybe they're great. But labels for business or large personal mailings, you better be super word processing savvy (this isn't advanced programming) or you'll be frustrated trying to align your text on to labels so they appear as professional as Vista Print promotes its products to be. I just can't believe how ignorant their "customer support" staff is regarding the basic usage of their products.

Last time I checked, a credit is not a refund.

After another complaint on this website, Vistaprint was finally convinced they should refund the money they stole from me. I received an e-mail on 9/27/11, confirming that a refund has been issued by Vistaprint, and that refund will appear on my credit card statement in the next one to two billing cycles.

Can someone tell me why it is okay for them to keep my money for two months? I have been patient until now, and I have yet to see this supposed refund, more than one month later. My bank considered the case closed, because Vistaprint told them they were giving me a refund, so I am still without my money.

This company should be investigated for fraud, and I should be paid interest and a fair amount of money for the time I've had to spend getting my money back. And I know there are more people out there like me. Time for some class action? Small claims? Bottom line, it's time for Vistaprint to step up and do the right thing.

After looking at how many complaints on Vista Print I found on a Google search, I attempted on twenty occasions to cancel the website for fear that Vista Print would charge my credit card. Everytime I did a cancellation, I was given a confirmation number with the cancellation and every time I went back to make sure that the website Vista Print set up was cancelled and to verify the confirmation I received, I found that the website was not cancelled.

On October 2nd 2011, Vista Print attempted to charge my credit card, twelve times, for a fee of $14.98. I had transferred my money to a savings account so they were unable to get the charge paid. I received an email from Vista Print on October 2nd stating that my account was suspended due to non-payment of the fee.

On October 3rd, I again cancelled the website five more times and received a confirmation number with all five cancellations, but again, the account was still not cancelled. I received an email today, October 10th, stating that my account was reactivated and welcome back due to the fact that Vista Print charged my credit card and got the money on October 9th. These charges were unauthorized and I called Vista Print to have them cancel this account and it appears that it is now cancelled. I attempted several times to remove my credit card from Vista Print website and I was unable to do so.

Now, I will have to cancel my credit card in order for Vista Print to have no further access to my money.

This is a ripoff and I have contacted a friend at the US Attorney's Office in Washington DC, to initiate a federal investigation into the business practices of Vista Print. They most likely rip off thousands of people every day. Vista Print needs to be investigated on a federal level, looking at the business practices of this company and exactly how many people they have ripped off for fees and services that the customers didn't order or charges that were unauthorized.

I was not asked if I wanted to continue the website service and I never authorized my card to be used for the website - not to mention the amount was twice what I thought it would be if I had agreed to the continued service.

Trying to reach a person at Vistaprint was also very difficult. There is no contact number on the Vistaprint home page. I had to keep clicking through various questions, etc. to find a number. Most of the envelopes were bent. It was very disappointing and unprofessional. What is more disappointing is that several of the items were going to be gifts for family and friends. I am hopeful that the company will do something about this as I just recommended them to about ten friends.

I used a LivingSocial coupon to order 200 business cards, and tried out a website (ad stated it was a 30-day trial and could be cancelled at no charge if done prior to the 30 days) for $10.

I received the cards in a timely fashion and they were fine. I set up the website and it was fine too, however it wasn't netting any return for my small business after three weeks, so I decided it was not worth paying a monthly fee to keep it.

That's what a 'free trial' is supposed to be, right? Try it out, if you don't like it, you don't have to keep it or pay for it. I cancelled the website online via my Vistaprint.com account prior to the 30-day trial ending.

The very next day, I received a call from my bank that a potentially fraudulent charge was in process in the amount of .49 cents by Vistaprint. I told them that, while I had done business with the company, I had not authorized this transaction.

A couple of days later, a charge of about $21.95 was made to my account by Vistaprint. I called Vistaprint and told them - again - that I did not want their service, and I wanted that money refunded. The agent assured me the account was cancelled, and said I would receive an email within 15 minutes stating I would receive a refund.

I did not receive an email within 15 minutes, so I filed a dispute with my bank. My bank gave me a provisional credit for the amount, pending an investigation.

I know my check is out there somewhere (God only knows where). I didn't get the business cards that I thought were going to be here several days ago. I called the company, but to no avail, the conversation was useless! I will never try to do business with Vistaprint again. I've read other complaints, prior to sending this one. This review is in regards to Vistaprint's web builder.

I spent days working on the website and talking to customer support. When I went to publish the website, it would not publish. Tech support then informed me that Vistaprint did not support the latest version of Firefox, so all that work was lost. I was told to use Internet Explorer. I typed in a few text on my website and, with tech support still on the phone, checked to make sure Internet Explorer would publish the website, and it did. So I spent days building the site and when I published it, the text and photos on my newly published website were all jumbled. I called tech support and was told that Vistaprint did not support the latest version of Internet Explorer and that I needed to use Google Chrome. So, again, all that time and work was lost. There are basic things that you need a website to do, and you need to know that Vistaprint won't do a lot of them.

I have plenty of examples that I can give, but in the interest of time, I'll give just one. I was advised by Vistaprint to create a thumbnail page. I asked, and it was confirmed by tech support, that I could link each thumbnail to a subpage that would describe the photo. After spending over 7 hours creating the thumbnail page, none of the photos would link to a subpage. I called tech support and was told that "unfortunately sir, Vistaprint does not support that activity." So, again, all that time and work was lost.

What the heck good does it do to create a thumbnail if you can't click on it and be directed to another page? I don't want to sound too condescending but creating a website that has a thumbnail page that takes the customer absolutely nowhere has got to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. There are other basic features that you are going to want on your website that vistaprint won't do. In my opinion, there are major, and I mean major, programing flaws in the design of Vistaprint's website features. So, to sum it up, the weeks I have spent building my website have been mostly wasted (the only upside is that I am learning how to build a website). I told the supervisor that the only reason I haven't left Vistaprint is because I have so much time and money invested in it. But now, after having time to think about it, I am going to call tomorrow and cancel my website, ask to have my money refunded, and go somewhere else. I only hope that Vistaprint does not, now, own my domain name.

I saw the Vistaprint ad on my Yahoo sign-in page. I happen to trust Yahoo very much. I thought $3.97 for 250 business card was a pretty good deal.

I went ahead, filled out the information and submitted it. A few minutes later I received an "International Transaction Alert" from my credit card company. It made me very nervous as those "hidden transaction" fees can be pretty high and although there is no mention anywhere in the ordering process, I discovered the transaction originated somewhere in Norway!? I immediately cancelled my order.

Following the cancellation of my order, I received an email from VistaPrint acknowledging the cancellation; however, there is no refund credited back to my credit card! I quote them, "This message is to confirm a merchandise credit has been issued to your account by Vistaprint". I did not ask for "credit"; I requested a refund.

I wrote a note to their customer service department and I have not heard from them, it's been seven days. I am concerned that they will keep my money and possibly charge extra fees?! I'm not sure. I guess I'm stuck with my $3.97 charge on my credit card, which will probably end up being a smarter-cheaper 'mistake' than using the "merchandise credit" and being charged more. This company is very mysterious.

I wanted to take a moment to put out a good word towards Vistaprint. I don't know if this is the place to do it but I figured I would try. I ordered two different sets of invitations for upcoming parties. I allowed ample time for shipping when I ordered; therefore, the longer shipping time was not an issue. I understood that custom orders can take time. When checking out, I took the extra few seconds to review each page that I was directed to and made sure that what I was agreeing to, was in fact what I wanted. It took little to no extra time, and ensured that I would not sign up for anything I did not want.

My invitations shipped earlier than planned and arrived sooner than the website said. They came packaged well, with coupons that will be helpful when I place many more orders to come. I was kept up-to-date via e-mail every step of the shipping process, and found navigating on the website for further information very simple. Unlike what others are stating, I have not found myself being bombarded by additional e-mails, because I didn't sign up for anything. My invitations are beautiful and look exactly as I verified on my final proof selection. The colors are amazing, and the quality is fantastic. The price was amazing as well. All in all, I would rate Vistaprint 5 out of 5 stars and I will be recommending it to everyone I know. Thank you for being so awesome Vistaprint.

After having followed all of the prompts and finally ending up at the "check-out" page, I found out that VistaPrint is indicating that I'm to be charged $3.99 for the cards. Nope, that's not what was promised at the beginning. I then proceed to call the 1-800 number listed on the same page and after going through approximately four stages of prompts I finally have contact with a "live" person.

Teresa asks if she may be of service and I then proceeded to inform her that the cards are not free as promised. She proceeds to inform me that I've picked a "premium" card and that I will be charged $3.99 for the said 250 cards. She further tells me that I've apparently picked the wrong stock for it to be free but if I will hold for a minute or so she will see if she can get the cards that I've already designed for free. I held on for a short couple of minutes and upon her return to the line she informs me that she found another promotional and that I'll still be able to get the cards and the stamp with red ink for free. All I will be required to pay is shipping. I then informed Teresa that nothing in the ad addresses a shipping charge.

She then proceeds to tell me that the different charges are related to shipping. The cheapest one ends up being through book rate with USPS and that's gonna cost me almost $9 and will take 21 days ship time. My immediate response to Teresa; "In other words, you're charging enough in shipping to actually pay for the cards and even though you advertise free, it actually isn't free!" I then told Teresa to cancel my order and I then disconnected. Needless to say, I won't be contacting VistaPrint again.

I was adopted and brought up by retired people on a fixed income. When My husband and I got married in our early 20's we had to work together in order for us to both go to college. I worked full time while going to school and I finally graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education after seven years in 2004. We even had to refinance our house in 2006 after my father died or we would be bankrupt. My husband continued to go to school while I supported him and he finally graduated in Dec. of 2007. However in 2008 the housing market crashed and so did the economy. So my husband was unable to find a job, so I was supporting us both on a teachers salary and we were slowly going bankrupt.

A friend of mine at this time introduced me to Vista Print. She also was a teacher and said she had ordered some business cards and also recieved a free magnetic door sign for her classroom. She gave all the teachers the website at our school and we all ordered free magnetic signs for our doors. I would not have ordered anything for purchase since my husband and I were broke. My husband then went on an interview and aquired a job in California in November of 2008. We then had to pack up and move to California by the end of the school year. Since we were brokle and the company my husban got the job thru would not reimbusre us for moving untill after the move, we were making a lot of credit card purcahses to move and get our house in FL ready for renters. June of 2009 we moved out to California in a moving truck with 2 dogs and 3 cats. Now that we are a little more stable even though I am looking for a job every year due to budget cuts in education we have been able to pay off some of our credit cards.

It is then we noticed that every month we are being charged to charges by Vista Print. one MVQ shppoing essentials for $20.95 and MVQ Vprewardsus for $24.95. I have been recieving these charges since 2008. I have almot $2,000 in charges for a free magnet:(They billing statement has not always been the same. The name changes on the billing, the billing amouts changes, this all of this seems very sneaky. I have recieved no services for any of these charges. The only thing I ever recieved was a free magnetic door hanger. I am very concerned by these practices. There is also a law getting ready to passs that says it is illegal. I am very disappointed and it makes me wonder how many of my other teacher associates in Florida are also getting charged for this and do not realize it. As a teacher and as someone that has worked for everything I have i am very disappointed in this company and myself.

I have used Vistaprint before and was generally pleased until this past month. Unless something changes, I will never use the site again and I will let anyone who will listen or hear about how they backed out of their supposed LivingSocial deal. Here goes: I have ordered 2 photo books using a LivingSocial $10 for $50 "deal". While Vistaprint was happy to take the additional money I spent on the photo books, they cancelled my order and did not refund the "deal". They did say they would issue me a refund for the money spent on their site, but when I inquired about the money spent on the "deal" and the promotion I was supposed to get, I got no response.

I was told I should re-order and recreate a new book, so I did. This order was also cancelled. I feel Vistaprint is using the LivingSocial deal as a way to scam people out of money. If they were legitimate, they would not merely say they will give me a refund, which does little good when the majority was supposed to be purchased using the $10 for $50 deal, but they would reprocess a new photo book and send it to me (like re-ordering but with a new book since they said they deleted my first one even though it was in the system when I ordered it, and they did not appear to delete it until after I had complained about them canceling my order). I would like the product I ordered at the deal I was promised.

I will also be complaining to LivingSocial about this scam as well. I am very displeased with their service, their response barely even addressed my concerns and when I directly asked about them sending me the product if I recreate it, they merely suggested I "reorder" yet again.

I have just read the complaint from the customer concerning the embroidered polo shirts and got a similar run-around without being able to place an order.

I wanted to place an order for 5 custom embroidered polo shirts for an upcoming convention where we were going to introduce our new logo. I had been sent emails as had others in my office who also have accounts) about the customized polos and we thought it would be appropriate. As we had been very satisfied with the products and services through Vista Print, there was no hesitation using them.

Unfortunately, each time I tried to upload our artwork in the pop-up window, I had problems. So I called customer service and was told that there was a sampling of people who received this offer and I was not one of them! That was incredible as I had received the email and the page with the advertisement and pop-up window was right in front of me on the screen! I was merely asking if the artwork I was submitting was the right format. He said he was sorry, but only a few could take advantage of this and I was not part of the marketing sample. I countered that I must have been since I had received an email, and that this offer was able to be accessed by any of our office computers including laptops through the official web site, without any passwords.

He countered that I should not have been able to access the page at all! I asked to speak to a supervisor, LaToya, who is the surliest, offensive, and most aggravating customer service representative I have ever come across. She challenged my veracity rather than calmly going through my concerns, read from a lengthy PR script and would not tolerate interruption. When I wanted to ask a question, by raising her voice, was rude, and simply had no interest in anything I had to say. I asked her to refer me to another supervisor and she gave me the name of Gavin **. I subsequently called and left a message for Mr. ** to return my call, which he has not, as of this writing.

The issues are offensive on several levels:
    1. If this was truly a marketing sample to see if this service was viable, why was it available online on their website that anyone could access?
    2. I did receive emails and have photocopies of the page that has the pop-up box for the customization, so I was able to access that.

    3. They admitted that they had these currently in production, for a select few but were unwilling to accommodate me as part of this sampling.

Bottom line, this is deceptive advertising. These people lied to me with each conversation. As I result, I cannot trust Vista Print anymore because there is no truth to their advertising. They were not truthful to me on the phone. They insulted me and there was no customer response to my call and complaint. As a result, we had a local printer make up all our new business cards and stationery. We are making arrangements to cancel our web site with them and will not order anything else until they come back with an apology for treating me so shoddily.

Otherwise, I would have called back immediately and cancelled my order and went with someone else. Then, my money would have been better spent, and I would have had my product when I actually needed it. I spent 12 minutes trying to find a real person on the Vistaprint team. Finally, I had to act like I was buying something. Lo and behold, a real person came on the line. Ad nauseum I repeated my story to the agent, then to her supervisor, and then to the supervisor's supervisor to no avail. Literally, when I asked for his manager, he said he was and there was no other. But if I waited two hours, I could talk to a counterpart to him, which I would do. But I was not holding my breath for anything to come of it. He said, "Well sir, we already have your payment, so there is nothing you can do." This all took more than 30-40 minutes. This is a huge scam. I will not be satiated with "this is their policy". It is wrong and should be stopped.

I ordered several Living Social deals with Vistaprint. I paid $10 for a $50 worth of merchandise at Vistaprint. (I ordered three of these at various times before I realized that it was a scam). You do not get $50 worth of merchandise. In fact, my total order is only $3 less if I purchased it regularly. (I tried this several times, several different ways to see what the result would be). Basically, I paid $10 for nothing.

I keep trying to reach Vistaprint and cannot get a person on the line, conveniently. What a scam. I wish that I had never gotten involved with Vistaprint. Unfortunately, I have already placed a business card order with them before I realized what a scam it was. Hopefully, I will receive it without a problem. For now, I am stuck with two more Living Social deals that I can't use. I have informed Living Social of this Vistaprint scam, though I doubt if anything will be done about it.

I have ordered products with Vistaprint before and was satisfied. So when an offer to buy embroidered polo t-shirts came from them via my email I jumped on the opportunity to buy 42 t-shirts for one of my clients. I looked at all the designs on their website to make sure the design I was sending them was not too complicated to embroider. In fact, we have actually had this logo embroidered on two t-shirts by a company in San Antonio, TX. And they had no problem with the order. Vistaprint has also used this logo to print on baseball caps and regular t-shirts and it came out just fine. So here's the problem: after waiting 10 days I got an email that my order was cancelled. What was bad was I was given no reason at all whatsoever. I had already received payment from my customer for the t-shirt so you can imagine how mortified I was. So I got on the phone with Vistaprint and they said all t-shirt orders had been canceled because of technical difficulties. The next day, I called customer service and I was very distraught and irate talking with their customer service department, they were no help at all.

That afternoon I got an email saying that their difficulties had been fixed and they would like to help me get my order reinstated. They refunded me my original price and we went through the whole mess of reordering the 42 t-shirts. Within days I got another email notice that the order was cancelled. This time when I called back I talked to Caven **. He had me make minor modifications to the logo and assured me he would follow through and make sure the order printed. I then assured my client that they would have their t-shirts after all. On May 9th, the day the t-shirts were scheduled to ship, I got another email saying that they still could not print the t-shirts. I talked to Caven again and he could not give me any explanation. He couldn't tell me which area of the logo was causing the problem. He kept saying over and over again that he was dealing with a "machine" at the printing facility and that there were no humans to explain what the problem was. I was told I would be issued a refund again. This is now the third time I have gone through this canceling and refunding process and I have a very upset client that I have now lost my credibility with. And I have to refund my clients money, which is not a problem since I couldn't deliver but I wasted a lot of time trying to help this client because I care about my clients. Evidently, Vistaprint doesn't care about their clients at all! So the moral to this story is, if you want to deal with a machine and "hope for the best" then go ahead and try Vistaprint. But if you prefer to deal with a human that will help make sure your order is correct and arrives on time then please try a different printing company. You know the old saying, if it is too good to be true, then it probably is! I will never use vistaprint again! And hopefully, if you are reading this, you will think twice about using them.

I don't know whether this should be called a complaint, but I have one big problem with Vistaprint. A problem that they do not know about as I do not know how to reach them to tell them about it. A few weeks ago, I placed an order for business cards, which I received and used.

Now, I want to order some more of the same, but to do this, I believe that I have to sign in. As part of this, they asked for my email address and password. I gave them this and they told me that the password was not correct. They sent me an email that I could use to reset it. This was, however, addressed to my wife. She is also a Vistaprint user for her small business and we both use the same email address.

Apparently, Vistaprint does not recognize that two people can have the same email address. I could reset her password but it would not do any good (and get me in trouble with my wife). I would just like to know how I could go about placing an order for repeat business with Vistaprint. Thanks for any help that you can give me.

When I called, they said that they could try to find me a good deal with another shirt but would not refund my $19.00 for the two shirts I ordered--which I cannot use. They would also charge me extra for any shirt I would get. I have dealt with them for awhile and been happy with the product. But not anymore. So much for public relations with Vistaprint.com.

The package was shipped on 4/20/11 from Columbus, OH (2 houses down the road). I still had not received it on 4/22/11 so I went to the post office. They said that the package was mailed "standard bulk mail," which is the slowest way possible. Normal postage would have it delivered within 24 hours from Columbus. I am losing sales by not having these business cards. I could have gone to a local printer and would have had them already.

For the first ten months, it was $14.95, and in the last four months, it went up to $17.95. Upon further investigation I noticed that the charge was coming from a VistaPrint Club and that somehow, they sign you up in their fine print and charge you monthly. I really like VistaPrint's services and I hope that they make this right. The total cost is $221.30, plus the pain of dealing with the mess.

What a shame! Caveat emptor. Buyer, beware. I've always found it interesting how a successful company can sabotage its future because of greed. I recently discovered a charge on my credit card from VP Rewards. I found that Vistaprint had been charging me for services I never received. Granted, apparently it was in the fine print I guess when we placed an order. And they claim that we checked the box for this service. But we never received any form of information as to what we were purchasing monthly for $29.95! No mail or email was received. It at least appears that they were keeping a low profile for what they were charging us for. The shame is that we've ordered lots of products from them over the past few years, but never again. Taking advantage of customers is so short-sighted like me. Just go away!

Sometimes, the shipping is a little ridiculous and I wish that they would give more lead way with designs. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with them.

I had ordered checks from Vista Print in the past and ran out. I went online to re-order more checks. I was pleasantly surprised when the checks arrived over a week early. However, when I inspected the checks to make sure everything was correct, I realized that the checks were numbered wrong. They had printed check numbers that I had already used. I called customer service to see what could be done. I explained to "Carl" that I had specified (exactly as asked) what check number to start with. He claimed that the "check preview" showed a different starting number than I was saying and basically blamed me for the error since I placed the order online without assistance from a representative.

I told him I wanted a refund or at least the correct checks. After several minutes on hold while he checked with his supervisor, I was told that they would gladly make the order right, but I would have to pay for shipping again. It wasn't my error so why should I have to pay for shipping again? He said that they couldn't give me a refund. The order was for $35, not that big of a deal for them but it is to me. After this complete refusal to correct THEIR error at their expense, I will never use Vista Print for anything. I don't care if they are the fastest, the cheapest, or the only place to get something. They have lost yet another customer and I will tell everyone I know about this experience!

I ordered a number of different calendars as Christmas presents from Vistaprint's Singapore website. They arrived in time for Christmas and I was pleased with the quality. Can you imagine my disappointment to find on giving them, that the company had spelled February, "Febuary". This is an unforgivable error for a company that produces calendars.

On the Singapore site, there are no contact numbers so I emailed customer service. Now this error was not the end of the world as these were family presents, however I really felt that the company should be aware of the error and acknowledge it as such. I couldn't believe it when about 5 days after I emailed them I received a very impersonal email telling me the error had been corrected and all my products had been re-ordered. I did not want extra calendars and I emailed them as soon as I received the notification. I live in Singapore and I had the calendars delivered to Australia where I was spending Christmas. They will arrive there and be thrown out. It is such a waste of resources. It took another 5 or so days for them to respond saying that it's too late to withdraw the order.

If it had been me running customer services, I would have offered me the choice of a reprint or a voucher for future use. As it stands I won't be going back to Vistaprint due to their very lackluster customer service. A voucher may well have tempted me back.
