Against my common sense, tried for the "free report." Of course, after 10 minutes of watching it "gather" information with pomp and circumstance. Sliding bars, typed of info, percentages. Truthfinder asks for your payment info. Not very truthful for a free report. The info I did see was inaccurate in important ways. 2 people with same name live in different states. Yet they had the person I was looking for living in those states. One of the "other" people has a criminal record and mugshots. I am sure these were attributed to the person I was looking at, Truthfinder said I would be shocked at the criminal record. I KNOW the person of my interest has no criminal record. I am sure they provide a lot of info, but I am also sure much of the info will be incorrect. How do you tell which is which?

I contacted Truthfinder to check on a person who I believed may have had a criminal record and may be of harm to a family member. Caroline was extremely helpful and was very personable and friendly. She provided information about your service which was very helpful. Caroline is an A+ in my book. She's a keeper! Thank you!

I used my own name and information to test Truthfinder. It was 85% accurate. I was pleased with the information they provided. I did Cancel my Subscription because it was not totally correct. The information was inaccurate regarding several education points.

I only needed one piece of information to locate someone, and I found it via this site. What I most appreciated was the ease of joining and the equal ease of canceling the subscription once I got the information I was seeking. Thank you for making this process easy and for not making it difficult to cancel.

I was very frustrated when I called customer service - the report was basically blank. It didn’t have what the system said it was going to report on. Spoke with Terrance who is a great customer service rep for your company (5 stars for him) - cancelled my account and he refunded my money. I really expected to have to fight over this - I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you.

Standard monthly rate doesn't get you much of a report. Too many add on costs for the money... Probably going to drop the subscription. Information is mixed with other people of the same name so not credible as far as what shows on the reports.

I had to fill out a form for Social Security and they required me to come up with birth dates, marriage dates, death dates, etc. and this information could not be found on your site. I had to go to other sites to get what I needed. Sorry it didn't work out.

Truthfinder was very easy to use, for anyone and very helpful in clarifying some information I had doubts about. If your interests lay where you can't reach information on your own without a huge expense, let Truthfinder do the work for you for a reasonable fee.

I did this on a whim and found that all the information I received was correct. This turned out to be a very good company to use to gather information but I have no use for this but for those who could use this type of information. It's a great asset.

I have used this service for a while and have had no difficulty in finding old friends and relatives. The searches often reveal several names and I have no problem weeding out the wrong persons among several options. Thank you!

In general I liked this service. Quick and easy to use and fairly priced. I am a class reunion organizer, so it was really helpful in tracking down missing classmate contact info. I like that it linked possible relatives for when there was incomplete or missing info on the target classmate. I was able to link up to many classmates through their relatives.

Look up a person going out on a date with. I found out basic information. No high profile crimes. I was satisfied with that information. It didn't give very much in the way of college or jobs. I was disappointed in that way. Hard to read into if the person had many jobs, or successful, received positive awards or admirable information. Very basic with last house address and vehicle information. Children, siblings, didnt even show he was divorced.

They provided very little information and continued to charge my account without authorization. When I tried to cancel account after discovering the charges, I could not. Be very careful to check your account to make sure they haven't signed you up to a monthly subscription.

TruthFinder did a good job in showing me what I was looking for. Only thing is that cancellation wasn't easy. I did 3 cancellations online but it still didn't go through because when I clicked the button to continue with cancellation, it took me to an extra window, still trying to encourage me to stay. There was no way for me to continue with my cancellation without calling the company by phone to cancel.

I was trying to cancel my membership by phone and was kept hanging for over 10 minutes when I finally gave up not once but twice!! I would not recommend this service to anyone!!! Pissed off in Wisconsin!!!

I utilized Truthfinder in order to locate an address I needed for a family in Georgia. It was great, as the information I needed was quickly identified and delivered. HOWEVER... like many other companies more interested in money than client satisfaction, you get set up as a recurring Truthfinder customer immediately. I find this abhorrent, as usually an ongoing subscription is not needed. Why not give a choice for a SINGLE MONTH? Be responsible instead of greedy. From my perspective, income a company receives as a result of ongoing subscriptions that a client does not honestly need or want, is fueled by business practices that are solely about money, not about service to the greater good. Today, it is critical that companies evaluate who they are, what they have to offer, and how they can operate in a sustainable way that serves both the company, - and the community, ethically. Researching potential relative of daughter's ex husband for purpose of making contact with their young daughter. Found out the paternal grandfather was deceased. There really isn’t much more to comment as the party was deceased. Unfortunately the child will never know her grandfather. We are hoping there are not health issues. There was very minimal information about the party Pete **.

Found what I looking for and really recommended to a friend and family, I was able to see pictures and some other stuff, great job from them and plus if you want to unsubscribe it's really easy too, I was very impressed with that.

The website has all the info you need on who ever you need it on. Just input the required info and you may end up with more info than you wanted, so be careful what you ask for you might just get it all.

Only after you put in all the pertinent information, wait through “collecting data”, and “compiling report” messages and a sliding bar going across the screen, about 10-15 minutes later it asks for the CREDIT CARD information to pay a ridiculous amount of $27 to obtain the report! Not happy!

I find that most criminal records are inaccurate and silent. Telephone numbers are mainly incorrect. Sex offender information of previous residences are irrelevant and extensive. It is overkill....I believe a few changes would increase the appealability of this product.

Thank you for listening to my concerns, asking about my day, showing concern about my child, resolving the issue, upselling the product, and not making me feel like I was locked into renewing my subscription. Jesse was phenomenal and extremely professional. He resolved my concerns without judgement of hesitation and the entire experience was well worth the call into the 800 number.

As there is no tutorial, I had to guess at everything. I am 73, and app illiterate. Trevell was a sweetheart and walked me through it. However, later I could not figure out how to get the reports. HELP! A tutorial is needed desperately!!!

I got this to look for my brother tony david ** and it's just sad because its the same information and I know this was his old address with his wife (she lives there wont speak to me) so I have nothing so I am going to let this account go for now. The information that was provided included the following: current addresses, relatives both deceased and living, current telephone and mobile numbers, criminal records and their status. I was able to determine approximately where this individual might be incarcerated and the pending charges: DUI, Driving an unregistered vehicle, on an out-of-state suspended and revoked driver's license. This individual disappeared around Christmas time 2018 and has not been seen or heard from ever since. It is entirely possible that this individual is serving 90 days to one year for unpaid fines connected with his DUI charges.

I believe that a single use price for a single inquiry would be a better option for those of us who don't need to use this enough to justify the expense. Maybe even monthly pre payment for a set amount of time or inquiries. I think it would open a bigger demographic for a wider market.

This site gave me all the information I was looking for and more. I was just making sure there was no criminal background on someone. Also the customer service was amazing when I had to call! They were very friendly and accommodating.

I was happy to be able to check unlimited records. The ones I checked came back as positive reports and gave me information that I didn't want to ask the persons involved. I checked my own and found one listed as a friend that really I had no contact with other than church attendance and don't know why she was included in my report. I also thought there would be more photos.

Seems to be a scam. They collect your info, feign to collect payment (although I am certain I will need new cards/accounts when the fraudulent charges show up). NOTHING HAPPENED - no info, no nothing. I was trying to find an email address so I could contact the parents of my friend who died of cancer. What a ripoff.

I signed up as I had a friend that I have known for 40 years and we lost track of people we knew back when and wanted to get in touch again. Well....LO AND BEHOLD! We were able to find and contact most of them. Sometimes it is enjoyable to sit around with a bunch of us old fogies reliving/remembering "the good ol days".

The report gave an inaccurate assessment of my financial worth but otherwise was interesting. Other data such as address and so forth was correct. I would come back to Truthfinder if it was necessary for background checks but at this stage I have no further need of your services.

The Truth finder will give you solid basic information. They have some connections wrong -- like my ex-husband's new wife shows related to my dead father. But I'm sure some secrets will come to light using it. I could see divorces/marriages/places lived/etc.

Very useful information with excellent presentation and customer service prompt. Questionnaire easy to follow and narrow person subject to report. Did not like the automatic 30 day need to cancel before being charged a continued monthly fee.

Back a year ago, I looked your program. I was not careful so I filled out the form, but not wanting to pay the charges, I thought I cancelled the order. The program did not cancel, and I was billed monthly. I used a bank card, I are rarely use, so I did not notice that the funds were taken out, every month until now. Your Service Rep cancelled the program, and promised to refund a 5 moth portion of the fees. I thank you for your generosity.

I used it a lot over the last 3 weeks to find friends from high school who had disappeared over time. Truthfinder gave me lots of leads not only in the person's immediate family but extended families too. And it was a little bit fun using it.

Got what I was looking for. I was searching for my son. I found him. Later, I was able to talk with him. I did find out that he no longer lives on State St. He still has the same phone number though. Customer service was great!

I was trying to find other crimes that a man had committed besides tax evasion but was unsuccessful. It didn't even show that he had a FEDERAL TAX LIEN against him. Truthfinder was very generous in refunding my one-month charge.

The only good experience I had joining this site was the help from the customer service representative Caroline who was very helpful and informative. The site only gave me things about the person I was questioning about things I already knew. I needed more evidence to which I feel was not provided. There was no person in question alias area which would have brought up more pertinent information. This site was a waste of time and money.

Plus, I felt that for the dollar, I would only look up myself-no need to have the company run up charges (as noted on several of pages where there appears the company would need to pay for the info it was gathering). I observed a discrepancy on the report I was looking for. It did have a lot of correct info, but towards the end, it listed him as **! Thank You!! There was things that were incorrect and it was hard to fix the info.

Truthfinder provides a lot of information a great majority of which is redundant and irrelevant. It is impossible for Truthfinder to scrub the information available from public records. Therefore the information is of limited use. As a private individual I do not have the deed for information on many people.

Just opened my report - 79 pages long, containing no relevant information. More than 60 pages of "possible neighbors" and sex offenders in the area where the individual last resided. I have no idea what this information has to do with the individual I was researching. Also contained multiple pages of sales information of property purportedly owned by individual (I think) and prior and subsequent owners. Totally useless information. The whole process took way too long to ultimately obtain information I already had, i.e. birth/death dates, last known address, and relatives. Feel ripped off. P.S. the constant reminder that the information might be "shocking" is ridiculous!

I had some medical issues and at this time I could not keep my account open. Offered some solutions, which I really appreciated, but informed him I could not keep up with the payments at this time. The site was very easy to use unless your device was idle more than 15 minutes. In that case, you have to refresh to get reports to generate. There are a lot of options on this site, some not offered on other background check sites. The Dark Web safety check and Family Tree features were helpful and easy to navigate. However, there were several reports that contained erroneous information or mixed information mixed from different people and addresses on several reports. And some information that I knew should be available in the reports just wasn't there; even though it was public data. I'd say this site is 70-75% accurate. Overall it was a positive experience.

I wanted to see the report on myself and was pleased with the accurate information and quickly the report was finished. When I called to cancel my membership until a later date, I experienced a girl that was friendly and very helpful.

Would have liked to know a little more about the person's personal background. It seemed like all you have is teasers. One person I looked up says she's from California but everything I read here shows her from back East which I think is more right than what she told me but not enough information to prove it. I have no way of telling if this is me on the watch list. The links are not very explanatory. The other information was really good though. Looking through the information I believe that improvement can be made in areas like the watch list stuff. In my review it looked like this belonged to someone else but it is hard to tell with the information being so vague and not thorough. Plus the names have no middle initial. Etc.
