I'm very pleased with reports that come back. This platform has been very helpful. My business requires finding people and this is helpful and very interesting in all the information it provides on locations lived, relatives, neighbors, and so forth. Those extra facts add validity to the research and is much appreciated. The only adverse comment is that sometimes it doesn't seem to be up to date, however it's pretty darn good often. Thank you!

I decided to give this a whirl just to keep on top of my information and make sure nothing suspect was out there. I stay on top of my credit reports and thought this would take it a step further - wow was I shocked by what I found. It returned some accurate information for me but also returned multiple states that I've NEVER resided in, people as relatives I've never heard of and said there were criminal records not only for myself but for family members that I know is absolutely not true. I knew then I wouldn't pay for this inaccurate service, clearly there is tons of false info in their reports. After seeing people did pay and then couldn't get money back/kept getting billed I clearly made the right choice!

Did not list my brother's death in the background check I PAID for while checking for his wife's family. The background check did list members of my brother's wife's family that had passed away. I specifically requested info on my brother; wife, ex-wife & children. TRUTHFINDER DID NOT know my brother had died 2 years ago.

I paid for and was charged for service. I have not been able to use service to date. I went to login email was correct and the password I set says it is not correct. So went to reset password. Got the email to do so and for the 8 days I have been going to reset password in each email. It will not go to the page for website for me to do so. The page is not there. I have tried everything. I would cancel service if I cannot be helped but it was very important I was able to use the service I paid for. This is very frustrating.

They have you pay for an account that you will only use once. The reports were quite inaccurate. Don't trust this scam. You try to call and you are on hold for hours unless you want to leave them a message. I am waiting for a callback currently.

While the report supplied was of no value in my case, at least the company responded favorably and fairly.

Updated on 03/02/2019: I found that their service is inaccurate and damaging to a persons reputation. My son's file show's he graduated with a master's degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2012 (which would mean that he graduated with a master's degree at 15 yrs old). It also shows him with a criminal record in Rhode Island. My son has lived with me his entire life...he has never visited nor lived in Rhode Island and California. He is currently enrolled as a senior in a University in Maine. I checked other family members and friends and found that my white side of the family that had criminal records, didn't show. While my black side of the family had criminal records that they never did. All my comments I've placed for my son disappears and they refuse to correct this false information.

I have used this website for confirming people's addresses and other info for our church. I also use this to perform background checks on people wanting to work with kids in the church. So far, this has proven to be very helpful. I love that when I can't find the right address or phone number, I just pop open this app. Love it.

I cancelled my membership but was still charged for another month. Then I tried to log on to cancel my membership, and the log on page jumps down and won't let you log on. I will be calling their customer service to cancel today.

STOP PLAYING A ** GAME BY NOT ANSWERING TO YOUR PHONE... I really hate your poor ** customer service and lying about how great you are. Keep in mind. I spent 23$ to get my traffic ticket that I didn't get. I think you need to be an audit by the law of the United States and shut you down. I will check this review every week and I wish you remove it.

I use Truthfinder to locate family for my family's genealogy and it very seldom lets me down. I have found friends and family I Haven't seen in years. Thank you for a valuable service! I would recommend Truthfinder to anyone who is stuck and can't put the pieces of their life together!

After being prompted with several questions and lead through several pages of hype about all of the info that was being gathered for me, I finally reach the final step where [as I was expecting] I was given the price for the info and the payment options which were 1) Plastic 2) PayPal. Okay fair enough. I didn't expect it to be free. And the price of around $27.00 is not an issue with me. So what is? I REFUSE TO BE FORCED TO AGREE TO AN ONGOING MONTHLY CHARGE! Yes I know you are gonna tell me I can cancel any time! But we both know that is not the case. You tell me all I have to do is call the 1-800 # from 8-5 M-F.

Truthfinder promises that users can cancel our own accounts right here on their own website: https://www.truthfinder.help/cancel/ However, this is clearly not the case. I was able to cancel the account I previously owned on this site, but for some reason they're not allowing me to cancel my current one. They never pick up their phone, and every time I try to email them on the issue, they give me some evasive response explaining that they never permanently/entirely delete records from their site. But that's not what I asked. Clearly, I'm only asking to be able to CANCEL my account the way I did before and the way they promised we can do on their own website.

l would definitely recommend this site anyone. The amount of provided information is amazing. I was able to get the information I needed, and then some. Names of possible siblings and associates was an unexpected plus. Try it...you will not be disappointed.

I requested information about me. I gave them the information necessary to complete their report. After several requests for money, which I paid, I never received the report I paid for. I think it’s a scam. Fortunately it was not an expensive lesson.

The information provided was exaggerated. Truthfinder led me to believe that the person I was searching has several criminal records. I was unable to unsubscribe because the password reset didn't work. I was on hold for hours with "customer service" and no one ever answered the phone.

This service is only marginally useful. You can find most of the information they provide free of charge on other sites. Once you subscribe, it will be impossible to cancel. I was locked out of my account for months - when I tried to log on it said that there was no account under that email. They never answer their call line and don't respond to written requests to cancel. This is fraudulent in my opinion. Just don't sign up or you'll regret it.

Doing good, still locating OLD people, friends and acquaintances, some I cannot find, I will have to use other services. I started doing lookups for my daughter's new boyfriend. He's already been there and checked out himself, but I still am looking just for OLD OLD people from the 50's, 60's, 70's and even newer, even work people, or such and I keep it all confidential of course. Locating old high school friends, will be using that for reunions, big or small, many I find have passed. This is invaluable and LOTS of competition out there, so I might discontinue this after a few more months of researching old friends, pals, and family. The LIST never seems to end, thank you TF.

I searched several dozen people and was only able to actually locate 3. Of the three that actually returned results, the information returned was incomplete, inaccurate, and seriously outdated. I am cancelling my subscription and will NOT be using the service again. A complete waste of time and money.

Your program does a very nice job helping to find information on the parties we are looking for to do a simple background check when needed. I consider your website to be the go to place for information. Your information was is always quite accurate and easy to understand which makes it helpful and useful in help developing and accessing our client risk.

I tried Truthfinder out several months ago, and paid for the trial with my Bank of America credit card. The system was slow, and some of the information was inaccurate. I made the decision not to use this as my way of performing background checks, as I felt that it was user-unfriendly and using it could lead to liability issues as some of the information was apparently wrong. I noticed that Truthfinder continued billing my credit card every month, and informed Bank of America of my decision not to use Truthfinder anymore. I have tried a few times to stop this billing cycle, as I don't use their "service" but somehow that did not work (that is a separate dispute with BofA).

Discovered unauthorized charges by Truthfinder.com on my bank statement. Called bank and got contact number for Truthfinder. Talked with Lisa, who asked for the first 6 digits of my bank debit card number: gave me those same numbers when I refused and they were correct. Transferred to Neil, who asked for the expiration date of my debit card. Since I was on my cell and had just canceled the card, I gave him the expiration date. He advised me that they have been charging my card since May (I've had health, death, engine, other, and now fraud issues and have failed to balance my checkbook for 8 months. It has had significant funds... Sorry).

talk me through this. I want to know when a company runs a background check what do they see?

Service does do a little but keeps asking for more money if you want deeper info, which should be included with high amt you pay for this type service. Also I canceled my prescription after first month but they billed me for another month anyway, had to call my card issuer and tell them no more charges accepted by them. Will never use them again!

I can't tell you how great it is to know that my children are safe. I use this to make sure that no one in my child's life has a drug and or abuse background. It's also extremely important that I know who their friends are and are not.

I tried this "service" for info on myself to see what was out there. I got SCAMMED. After viewing the initial report from this company I decided to cancel the monthly subscription because the information was for another person that is not me! I let them know but got NO reply. Then I tried again and got very little info on myself that was FAR from complete as I know my own history! I called the 800 number provided for “help” to their customers only to be put on hold for more than an hour. I finally left my call back number TWICE after a reassuring voice told me I wouldn’t lose my place in line and someone would return my call soon. This is

I signed up for a 5 day trial. The guarantee was that I could cancel within the 5 days and there would be no charge. I tried 4 times to cancel, leaving a call back number-- they never called me. Now there is a charge on my credit card-- I will dispute.

I just wish that your information included military experience. That would help narrow it down some, especially when looking for an old shipmate. Also, my FAA pilot license was not listed. Other than that, the information was very interesting. I found a few errors in my information and I think I was able to correct it.

Based on the positive articles written about this company, I decided to have them run my background. If they were 15% accurate I would be more than generous. Of the 21 acquaintances they listed 2 were correct. They listed my business address as my home. I moved in and out of my existing house twice and in the interim my manufacturing business was listed as the occupant. They had me working in positions from Georgia, Alabama and Wisconsin. Completely missed that I'm licensed as a CPA. Many additional errors made. Anyone thinking they will get accurate information is making a major mistake.

I want to say, steer clear of this website. I wanted to review a friend's history because I was told on DMV.ORG that I could use Truthfinder to find his traffic tickets. I started giving information and the website slowly got more and more negative saying that he's on terrorism watch lists and that he has a criminal record in three states. I (understandably I hope) got very concerned for his well being and advanced through the process to see what they had found. $22+ dollars later I get a trash report that has barely any information about him or tons of faulty information that has nothing to do with anything it had said was found about him.

Efficient and thorough way to locate long lost friends. Contains many possible resources to confirm identification. Some errors but readily corrected. Variety of sources and having neighbors listed helps with initial contact. Have used several times with success. Only one Toska ** have been unable to locate as addresses listed are not valid.

I'm still waiting on a confirmation email so I can confirm I want to opt out. Not in spam, not in bulk email, and this is the only one I've had trouble getting out of. I do not wish for all of my information and my children's to be so visible.

Updated on 01/09/2019: The posted responses (2) from Truthfinder lead the general public to believe that they refunded the wasted money to my account. They did not refund me. But, the only way that I can respond to their response is via a "private message". BEWARE.

Truthfinder is a waste of money!!! Out of date information on addresses, phone numbers, locations, no marriage or divorce info or records. No birth info, ie where, if they have, how many, locations of births or even if they children. Useless info about past neighbors (not current). It provides inaccurate possible known associates, almost like they pulled a rabbit from a hat. There sex offender info is free and more accurate on State website or registry sites. Mortgage info inaccurate and out of date. Social media info out of date and not accurate. Worst service and I paid for the premium service ran reports and got more disinformation than real. They just try and sell you additional services like how to protect your info, but don't because their info is so bad you don't have anything to worry about.

When searching myself and my husband I have found accurate information on our personal information, addresses, phone numbers and many other true facts. Not very often do I run across bogus information. Thanks Truthfinder for being a company with factual information I can rely on.

I'm into genealogy (amateur only) and I found some long-lost cousins and other family members--I don't know why I hadn't thought of this before! You had addresses and birthdates which I was mainly interested in... and phone numbers, so I can get in touch with them, too. Great Website!!

I have provided 3 different emails over the past few days to receive a confirmation email for opting out and nothing! NOT ONE confirmation email to any is provided! They make it impossible to remove your own information.

Site does not say anything about fees. Fell for it anyway and after 40 minutes or so of them running a report, I was presented with their "fees". I thought what the heck, I went this far so I used my PayPal account to pay for the Minimum fee of $27.78. After I completed my PayPal payment, they requested my credit card information. I called customer service and they were no help at all. Now they have my PayPal account info. I have nothing! Do not use unless you are willing to give out your credit card info, which I would highly recommend you do not send to a company like this. On top of that, you have to agree to automatic reoccurring charges every month unless you remember to cancel the service.

I was shocked at so much inaccurate information and just plain incorrect information my report contained. I had a background check on myself and I was very disappointed. Still waiting on the confirmation email to show I cancelled my subscription and I cannot get my money back!! I am very disappointed in Truthfinder.com.

Went through the whole process only to be told I had to pay for the report. In the middle of the process I had to provide email for report to be sent to me. Why don't they tell you then there is a fee? Now they have my email address to possibly sell? Very disappointed and feeling totally deceived!!!

Found the information I was looking for right away. In the past I have not been as lucky. But I know some of the people I look for are not necessary legal in this country. I use the program often and I am very happy with the results.

I did a search then you wanted me to pay. Problem is I have an account and it is paid and up to date. So I am rerunning the report now trying again. I clicked a login link but I didnt get a login screen.

I have tried opting out of Truthfinder only to get a 404 not found error when I select my info and no email link. I would NOT like any old person to come across personal info. It should not be difficult to remove your OWN info. DISAPPOINTING.

Easy to use and with accurate information. I feel like the information should be updated more frequently though. The cost for an account is also reasonable. It is very helpful to have a site where you can do a background check on people you may be considering dating or trying to locate a relative.

I was able to find most of the information that was being searched. I do see some information that is off, but not by much. It says I bought my home in 2004 but it was actually purchased in 1991. I did a refinance in 2004. Other than that it appears you have other things accurately stated.

I've had a fine experience. The service was as expected with no disappointments. The Location History has proved to be very accurate. Also, what I didn't expect to see but was pleasantly surprised were the various Email and Social Media History which has proved to be very useful.

After using several search programs, I found Truthfinder to provide more information than the others. As with any online search program, information has to be corroborated with other sources assure 100% accuracy, but for the most part I've found it to be very accurate. Any questionable criminal information is stated as such by the program. I have run several background checks, mostly to find people I have lost touch with and not been able to find through other modalities. I recommend Truthfinder to be a very user-friendly source for information and a great value for those who need to run background checks for any reason.

I ran this on myself looking for divorce dates from 1997 there about and due to my extensive criminal history from very long ago (good lord put me on the right path NOW :)) I was looking forward to see what a bad past I had and to thank god for delivering me...which I do. But that being said I well over 20 arrest, I have been in about 15 different county jails and did 18 months federal prison. They found like 3 minor things on my criminal arrest and I know I have open warrant in Florida because a lawyer is getting it cleared for me...

The public report Truthfinder furnished is full of details that have nothing to do with me and was missing a lot of information that I know exists from FBI reports I have had done... Complete waste of time and money... Avoid at any cost.

This Investigative Resource is an invaluable tool for doing necessary research for living in today's world. Whenever I am considering connecting with an old friend or making new friends, I use this resource as another layer of self-preservation! Furthermore, if I ever find myself in a difficult legal situation, I'll have already prearmed myself with credible, reliable information I can present to a Court.

I like the fact that your site is easily accessible, but your information is way outdated. My name has not been what you have listed for over 10 years. My ex spouse, Robert ** is deceased and I do not live in the same state as him. He was extremely violent and very abusive. I divorced him and my name should not even be associated with his or any of his family members per a court order!!! I have remarried twice. My 1st remarriage did not last long as my husband passed away. You have that correct, but you are still using his surname, **, as mine. I have been remarried again since 2012 so where is my current surname, **? You have me purchasing my deceased ex husband's home in Florida in 2015, now why would I do that?

This is good stuff. If this was the 70's I would say that it's really groovy and far out and neat. This app even gives off an euphoric feeling which triggers nostalgia. So you have to be ready to go to rehab if need be. I found all my old riff raff friends that I didn't want to lose. If I could just afford them some teeth we could all eat. haha.

Wanted to check the background reports on my family members and this site worked great! It's fast, easy, and provides a lot of information while maintaining security of important information like DOB, & SSN. It also give you the option to correct errors. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends!

I am sick and tired of having to do that on any website. Truthfinder is the worst, because the pictures are fuzzy and hard to see, especially for older people. I had to go thru numerous pictures to get in. It is very annoying, so much that I would rather not use your website. Do you honestly believe that a Robot is going to sign in? That is just plain stupid.

I wanted to just say I really appreciate the work your company does to protect private individuals. I moved to a new city about three years ago and still don't know a ton of people. On a daily basis, I feel surrounded by quite a few unsavory individuals in my daily life and this website gives me peace of mind. Thank you very much!

This morning I bought the Truthfinder.com plan because it said there was court information on me. It also indicated that there was not so good information on my ex-husband and deceased mother. I found that a lot of the information was completely incorrect, and did not pertain to anyone involved. A lot was only half true. And quite a lot of public information did not even exist on their website. I found more accurate and truthful information myself by simply typing in my own name on the web. There was no court information about me (understandably). As well as it didn’t show my ex’s DUI. Or even that we were ever married or divorced. This is a small example of how unimpressed I was...

This website presents itself in a similar fashion that you would see on many free service, with no overt mentions of payment at the beginning of the search. While you engage in the searching function, the website forces you to wait for unnecessarily long periods of time so that you invest a larger amount of your own time into obtaining results. After around ten minutes of arbitrarily long waiting you are finally presented with your results behind a subscription which you are now more inclined to pay now that you have invested so much time into search.

On November 22, 2018; I went on Truthfinder through Telmate in Oregon because my son is in jail there. I wanted to see what was going on and what he was being charged with and bail amounts. I put in all his information and it came up him being 64 years old. Not if he was born in 1991 and me being his father am only 64. In other words you have my information and his mixed up or combined. Then I found out it was going to cost me money so I went no further. Then yesterday I got a call from his credit card company asking if he had made a purchase on the 22nd which was impossible for him to do being incarcerated. I am an authorized user but I have never used his card. It is still in the envelope it came in, stuck to the page. It is in my safe because I have plenty of my own credit cards. You really need to fix your information gathering system or something.

I will read your viewer guidelines. I've been with Truthfinder for about 4 years off and on. I am lost most the time, I am getting old and use this to keep my brain working. I've been searching for my high school sweetheart, haven't found him yet, but it sure been fun searching. I am satisfied with my search, I wish I knew more on how to use the information at hand. Truthfinder has been very helpful and useful. Accuracy is almost 100%. I also like the mobile app, as well as being able to search by phone as well. Mobile app is useful on the go, and the option to search by phone number pulls some more information the normal background report doesn't give sometimes.

Why doesn't this service know when someone has died? My husband died over 5 years ago at age 60 and when I searched him, it said he was 65. I wish. I don't have an order number. I may cancel after I get an answer.

I wasted $30 on this site, and all I received was useless, irrelevant information that I could have found had I just done free searches on my own. Actually, I have found better information on my own. Most of the information they revealed was for other people, ones with the same name as I searched. I had to sift through a lot of useless information, and I really didn't find anything useful. What a waste of time and money!

Overall I find the reports to be very limited unless I pay even more. I'm about to cancel my subscription; just not providing enough background info. I don't want to pay more for police reports and the influx of "possible" phone numbers and social media contact is suspect. Needs to be cleaned up overall.

Truthfinder has helped me to uncover a felonious background and domestic violence charges on a potential husband. When I asked, he went into an abusive rant. Saved by the bell. Also found long lost brother. Turns out I have a sister now instead. I highly recommend Truthfinder as a self protection tool. Thank you Truthfinder.

I have been able to find everyone I needed to find and the tools were easy to use. Information was arranged and categorized well. It would be nice to find people that have died or their last known address was more than 20 years ago.

I went on to Truthfinder website to see if it would be of use to me. I okayed a $2.00 test charge which was a mistake. I ran one search as a test and decided it was not going to be worth the money. Without my knowledge or approval they billed me $27.78. I have no idea what that was for since, I did not use the service after the first test I run.

After clicking a bunch of questions, and finally wanting the results, the website forces me to use Facebook to get info. My Facebook account is not available to me right now. I would like to cancel my subscription. Thank you.

Seems like they provide very basic information which is information you may already have. To get the information that you wanted you have to pay addition fees. I would not recommend them. To just get the basic information they have me paying a monthly fee even if I didn't use them that month.

When I was looking up a number for the reverse lookup I was only able to receive the first name of the individual. I was hoping to get much more information from this. I was able receive information for where the phone number came from but I really needed a last name for verification purposes.

I checked my own records out first and mine are incorrect. If mine are incorrect? Why would anyone else's be correct? And? I've lived in the same home for just under 10 years now. January 22, 2019 will be 10 full years that I've resided here... I keep forgetting to cancel because I have a Mother wth Alzheimer's that I care for 24/7 and a boyfriends with stage IV cancer that I care for as well. So, I don't think about cancelling it until I see it's come out of my bank account again. Poor service in my opinion.

Waste of money. Whenever I get prompts that there is new information, I am unable to get the new information unless I pay more money. This is a come-on and I am displeased with the service so discontinued it. There is nothing gained by paying the monthly fee.

For three years the death of my friend Delores ** of Melbourne FL has not been reflected in the Truthfinder search. Overall I enjoy finding birthdays of friends and otherwise checking on whereabouts of old friends. Also like to find names and addresses of friends children, where they live, check to see if they have a bad driving record. I was able to locate a woman I worked with in New Jersey over 30 years ago.

Was disappointed at the lack of relationship information-names of spouses, children, what year retired, current domicile, etc. The information you give is thorough, just not broad enough for me. As is, your site is of very little interest to me, unfortunately.

Excellent yet I did see other background-check sites, that didn't charge extra for emails etc. I cannot afford more than (1) month. I obtained excellent data! Furnished Perfectly--GREAT!! Very Helpful. No errors - well put-together. Wish was cheaper, I'd continue on... Drop the price, I will continue!!! OFFER BETTER PRICE - need affordability.

I purchased a one month subscription to look up one person. The results were good. However, I have been billed for the past additional 7 months! I have called and requested that my credit card stop being charged and to refund the additional months that I did not sign up for. The customer service rep was polite, but useless. I can’t stop the charges every month to my credit card. I have not received any refund. Calling does not resolve my problem. My options at this point is to contact the California Dept of Consumer Affairs and to close my credit card account. That creates a lot of trouble for me that I should not have to go through. My credit card charges me 17.44% interest so that is another issue I have. Be careful of giving this company your credit card info. Once they get it you can’t stop them from charging your account month to month.

Found the new address for our neighbor, who moved. We are glad this was so easy. We shared garden tips and we missed a lot of friendly times together. This was easier than using the new phone book. Now we can still keep in touch with them. Thank you.

My ex and his previous wives and girlfriends are listed as "relatives" of mine. I have found numerous errors and incorrect information that he made up or names attached to mine which I have never used. I called the customer service department and was told information could not be changed. I was given a run around about when I had used this service and even though they verified I had paid $1 to try this service, they refused to help me correct information. I will never use this "service" again and regret wasting even $1 since they wouldn't stand behind their product. How can my ex put information out about me being related to his ex wives and girlfriends, but I can't get anything corrected. This man ruined my life and believe me, in Texas you can't get an annulment at my age without proving fraud, which I did. I think this company is totally bogus and is helping a fraud continue to perpetuate a fraud on me.

Phone lookup has been inaccurate thus far. And info on people lags by several months to years. However, I have found that the checks do inform me as to whether I want them near my granddaughter or myself. Thanks.

Not bad but I wasn't going to pay extra to get the right person when there was 2 or more names were the same and the same age. This would have cost me a small fortune since there were at least 10 names that had doubles. I also like the old timeline where you could figure out which was the right name due to past information we had.

TRUTHFINDER does not offer cross referencing when searching for the history of a person. You would think that if you were looking for a person and knew of the siblings then you could narrow the search. Truthfinder gives you a massive list with a wide range of people, places and ages. I try and look up people and you can't much information... If I need to search further it's always another cost... The amount of money a month, it's really not that usable... Thinking about shutting it down due to not being able to get updated material and it's always more cost constantly to see what you need to view... Almost a scam.

It's my first time ever using. Everything seemed legit until I entered my credit card info and clicked continue... Now I'm skeptical and worried my card has or will be compromised. Hope I'm wrong. I have used Truthfinder for 2 years now and have found they have gradually taken information away and request additional fees to see it. I have enjoyed being able to look up people but have also found that it isn't always accurate. The information you receive on Truthfinder is probably available free if you have time to research, unfortunately, I do not.

This service is satisfactory. However, it would be really convenient if there were a means to have the system to perform a routine check to verify that there has been "no status change" since the last report - for specific individuals. As it is, it is necessary to revisit the site routinely to look for status changes.

We were being charged four different accounts a 39.99 a month. We were able to cancel 2 and get one reduced to 17.00 a month. One we are still being charged for. We are unable to find an account no for it.

I have used several of these type of services, but this is the best by far. No need to use anything else. The information is extremely accurate and very current. I would recommend this to anyone looking for someone or just wanting to check them out.

Not really happy with the results obtained from searches I have done. They contain a lot of information about people I am not interested in and not enough information on people I am trying to look up. Everything cost extra money and I feel, at least from advertising about Truthfinder, it isn't completely open and correct. Sorry, but think I will be cancelling and looking at one of the other web sites.

I requested few reports but all were very accurate, complete and useful. The only thing that was hard to deal with was the quality of similar persons, that is not a system´s problem, but a real thing that need to be handled maybe by adding another qualification characteristic, other than age/location.

I love the new Timeline. Suggested Improvements: Selection often does not show 'deceased' even when the timeline does. It would be great to search for a relationship such as when Jones marries Smith. Have an optional middle name, city on the primary search page.

I don't even know how much money I paid for this service, I do know that it was way too much! I never ever got a full or complete report on anybody. I was very disappointed. The information I found out was not important, or I was not able to pull it up.

I have used other sites for backgrounds and have NEVER seen such a convoluted mess. You don't get email reports or PDFs unless you pay extra. I NEVER RECEIVED A RECEIPT FROM THRUTHFINDER. NOT IN INBOX OR SPAM. I did get my PayPal receipts. Prob 1. PDF report. I just wanted to be able to create a pdf and save so I HAD TO PAY 2.00 to get it. Now how do I get it? I have searched the faqs and there are no instructions And I have read all the screens and cannot find a PDF button. Prob #2. I accidently set someone else as ME not understanding what was asked so when I REMOVED that PERSON AS me, their entire report is GONE. Prob #3 I wanted to email a report to myself and this prompt came up that I have to pay an additional 4.99 so I paid. That was not to email to myself but to SEARCH on an email address.

I am satisfied or else I would cancel. Common names are a problem, their records often confuse 2 w/same name. You can edit out some info & the next time you go in the info you edited is back. They always try to upsell to more info or a more $$ subscription. Nowhere are subscription options clearly explained. You learn something is not included when a pop up tries to sell you more. It is impossible to contact a human for help.

To whom-ever asked for this review: Be careful what you wish for. Truthfinder and its ilk of investigative netware are outstanding. Like getting an ** for a head cold. Expensive ways to acquire something that sounds helpful-but a single use may lead to unintended consequences. Probably, like most subscribers I got TF to snoop about an acquaitance. Whatever tidbit I gleaned has been long forgotten & I am paying for my curiosity monthly. Any explanation as to why this service has become unreliable escapes logic to me. The phone number search is maybe 25% reliable, and I've had to rely on other sources to find the correct information I need. I'll be canceling my subscription soon.

Not the proper person. Too common a name so I was given access to another person with same name. Person accessed isn't the one being searched, but the current area is close and the wife's name is the same. Don't know what else to do, but need to check under another middle name.

Greetings. Past interface with Truthfinder was difficult at best. Processing was extremely convoluted, slow and inaccurate. Months later on today for whatever, all works exceptionally well, considerably better than other such sites, were delivering/offering exponents more detail. Thus far I am VERY PLEASED with the service!

I just wanted to see how much the subscription was. I got no price and just kept going on PayPal. Last screen said "you'll be able to review the cost before the payment is finalized" (or something like that). I didn't know the price until my Paypal was taken out. Deceitful payment flow - how dare them.

Truthfinder provides lots of information. On this report, I didn't find email addresses. I was disappointed this time because the email address was what I was looking for. I hope the email address is not included only in the upgraded report.

I researched my background initially to see if I’m registered to vote, and I came across this website which somehow automatically compiled my information. Like another user, I was told that I had a criminal background (which I do not) and it also made public my estimated assets and even satellite images of my addresses. I work in a high risk correctional facility and the fact that someone could so easily assess my current address with this website without my permission is beyond scary. One of the agreement boxes even stated “You agree to acknowledge that you will see many embarrassing facts about Emily.” I'm disgusted and appalled, how is this even legal?

Very easy to navigate and such a pleasure to see so much detail! Ariel was difficult to obtain info on until her husband died and Truthfinder was the first source to have all the info with no mistakes on dates, places, etc.

I believe you sell my personal Information. I pay $27.00 + a month for the use of your site. It appears that EVERY TIME I use it... I get swamped with Scam/Fishing/Spam emails. If I find this out to be true and you are the cause... STANDBY!!!

I was looking for an old classmate's address. I found it with Truthfinder and was able to catch up on old times. I had been trying for a few years now without success to find an address. But Truthfinder made it possible. I wasn't interested in the rest of the information, so I don't know how accurate it was, but the address was spot on!

I am supposed to receive SMS alerts for updates but I haven't yet. Other than that everything has been awesome and I'm happy with the service. Truthfinder is the best website I have found so far. Truthfinder.com FALSELY posted that I have a criminal record. I absolutely DO NOT have any kind of criminal or arrest record. They removed my information upon request, but how many people have seen this and how many jobs/contracts did I NOT get because of this?! I am now self-employed - how many people do not end up using my services because of this false and damaging information? My guess is that they either sell the information or that MyLife.com/InstantCheckMate.com/PublicDataDigger.com are all connected. Please, somebody NEEDS to stop them from hurting people!

Researched my own name without telling them that it was myself. Report showed 4 towns I have never lived in and left off 2 that I have. It also indicated a criminal record (which I don't have). It indicated my mother had criminal or traffic records (She does not.) The premise is nice, I guess, but there is a reason that law enforcement uses things like fingerprints and physical descriptions and not just names to research a criminal record. I didn't go all the way with the report so I don't know all the details but just the initial info was enough to convince me of the inaccuracy of the site.

Not all was accurate. My name don't have a letter A in my middle name it's **. I know 2 people who was arrested for robbery and both have no records on here. Can be dangerous for dating sites. Notice am being secretly charged. Some are accurate with 20 year old phone numbers. Not all phone numbers show up.

Truthfinder looked very promising. However, after waiting over 10 minutes of them "gathering data" and "finding criminal history" they ask you for $27 a month to be able to get any information and would not stop sending emails.

I signed up for Truthfinder paying $27.99 per month. A few months back I canceled yet they continued to bill me. I let it go because I continued to use the service. I paid the monthly renewal on 9/16/18. Ten days later I canceled my service through the website. I even received an email confirming I had canceled and would no longer be billed. Within a half an hour, I was billed $27.99 despite that I had canceled and had JUST paid the monthly renewal free ten days prior. I am starting to think this company intentionally fraudulently bills its customers.

I joined Truth Finder paid my fee. Then searched my own info. They found it. Since I was also curious about two of my sons and a couple other family members and felt it would be nice. Well they notified me they found them all and how to access the info. They told me I could download the report then in order to open each section of the report I was to pay a little more. It was to cover the hard copy I wanted so $1.29 sounded ok so I paid. The first section downloaded but again they asked for more money to open. I thought my payment didn't go through (it did) and replayed. When it happened again I said oh no. It was time to go pick up my grandchildren so I closed out the site. Tried to cancel online c.

Download PDF link for my report does not work. I called Tech Support and they were unable to fix it. Was told that they would escalate it up to a higher level and they would contact me with the fix within 24-48 hrs. It's now been longer than that and no fix.

The best way to ensure accurate and meaningful results for users is to display information that can be used for a physical comparison. At minimum, height, weight, hair and eye color are required to filter the results for most searches.

This site is useless. I knew more about the person that I was investigating than the site could provide. They were quick to take my credit card information and then not provide a field to set up a password so my account became impossible to access. I requested an email to reset password and never got one. I called the customer service phone number and was on hold for 20 minutes and then got an option for a callback and never got the callback. This site is a scam!

Truthfinder sold my information to a disturbed stalker. Thanks to them a lunatic knows my family lives. Lives have been put in danger because of this. The service that Truthfinder provides is unethical and it should be outlawed.

After getting a message from the Truthfinder, I realized the number I called was one digit off from the actual number they had on their site (I dialed a 6 instead of a 9), and the number I erroneously dialed (with the 10 minutes of offers) was not actually theirs... my mistake. I am impressed that they cancelled my membership with a full refund and responded to my complaint so quickly.

I decided to check out this site by doing a search for myself. I have no middle name. Years ago one of the credit bureaus gave me a dumb middle name comprised of my wife's name. In spite of many requests, the credit bureau never made the correction. Now, Truthfinder, show me as having the false middle name given me by the credit bureau AND it says it has found 5 criminal records on me. I am an 81 year old man who has NEVER had more than a driving ticket. I don't know how to get Truthfinder to correct this false and destructive information about me, but I'm thinking of contacting my lawyer. Beware using Truthfinder.

These people accepted a user who fraudulently used my credit card using an email address that was not mine. They allowed charges to be made and now refuse to reimburse me the full amount charged. This is robbery. They are thieves! They need to be put out of business. If this has happened to me then others have probably been affected. They need to be held responsible. I will notify other authorities and push this until they refund my money!

Truthfinder has completely and, apparently, permanently polluted my email account. When I started to take a look at their services, a user agreement with several pages of very tiny print presents itself for your approval. Somewhere in there they state they can and will sell your personal information to third parties. If they put in large bold font “YOU WILL RECEIVE OVER 100 SMUTTY, SALACIOUS SPAM EMAILS A DAY IF YOU AGREE”, I think people would run away. I used to get maybe one or two a day for things like replacement windows or solar panels. Soon after looking at their services I started to get an unusual amount of spam. Now I get over 100 a day of spam for things like Asian milfs, male enhancement products, online casinos, dating sites, etc. When I contacted the company they point out their user agreement and instruct you to unsubscribe yourself from the lists.

Generally speaking, I most always find the info I need to contact old friends, etc., etc. A little disappointed sometimes when I have to pay a premium for the details, but... All in all, this is a great service for anyone interested in checking on folks before they get too close.

I found your site to be very helpful. I did find some discrepancies when it came to looking at my husband's and son's profile. I think because they have the same name and sometimes my son doesn't use the surname the 3rd or III.

Some Judgements, civil liens etc, are slow to update on the platform. Still remains the best jumping off point for information gathering initial information. A suggestion would be to allow, if your legal team could clear the way, to aggregate from state police & local police arrest records (arrests not convictions). I find this to be the most laking information. I understand laws vary from state to state, however I have been able to access infomation freely through many state and local agencies. I found AKAs that mean watches bank accounts and found connected to my mom's address and perpetrator's family name in her neighborhood too. Found more now. Using to figure out a serious matter that may be connected to my family's personal serious matters where lack of evidence prevented any police intervention. So seeking diligently it may really help me with a better idea of stalkers that may be involved in other more serious illegal activity as I alleged. Emails that mean the same as bank accounts. It is very serious because my family were victims too of bank crimes and it involves them too. I had separate matter and it is now looking like it could be same parties that are much worse criminals so I gave to my former ATF agent tenant and he gives to police. Waste of money... Answered an ad on FB about TruthFinder, filled out all the required info, when the report was returned I could not believe the mis-information gathered. No current phone number, had the same one for over 10 years now, no current email, again, had the same one for over 10 years. Had me listed as the current owner of a business I sold over 18 years ago, new owner even changed the business name, yet I'm listed as the owner of the business under the new name. I know all of the findings are gathered from public records but this was so far off it was ridiculous. Waste of $27 dollars.

I am surprised DMV site shows their link for list of traffic tickets. I paid and there was no mention of tickets whatsoever. Also the info is incomplete and which can easily be googled. I should get a refund.
