Like the most lovely woman EVERRRR the last time I called having trouble entering my credit card, (I was super down, my beloved pet stolen), who was SO genuine & kind & wonderful, the VERY lovely man who helped me yesterday totally kicked **. He was knowledgeable, smooth flowing, I felt like I was floating down a serene golden sunshine-lit stream, he took care of everything, got me back to the great discounted price. She made sure to make notes of on my account while I figured out what was going on with my card, & I'm super happy. They BOTH DESERVE A RAISE!

Hi: I cancelled my TruthFinder free 30 day subscription today (11-23-20) online. But noticed that the "Ends on date" was December 25, 2020. So I called their 800 number and spoke to Paul. He said that my next billing should have been on 11-24-20, but it was billed in error today (11-23-20). He said he would credit my credit card for the amount charged today and I would get an email confirming my conversation with him. Paul was very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. Thanks, Ken **

I needed help changing my password, I was assisted and the agent stayed on the line until I successfully logged in using the new password. I was able to complete the process in a matters of minutes while at work.

Some of the reasons I cancelled are because I was looking for information on birth certificates, marriage and divorce licenses, dates, parents, place and etc. I could not find this information. Also school attendance and records.

I signed up for 1 month. Company continued to charge me for 3.5 years. $1000. I was in a desperate situation w/ alcoholic husband. Do you care? Will you publish this review? If you take customer service so seriously you would. If you did what was right you would return the money since I have only ever used the site ONE DAY. Then today to cancel the service. Charge me for what I used. If you, you will show yourself for the scamming company you are, taking advantage of people in desperate situations.

I got this account to be able to keep track of my estranged homeless sister. I did not receive any updates and had to personally look for her in to county inmate locator myself. I did NOT receive any updates despite being advertised as 'updated daily'. It turned out my sister had been locked up for about a month and yet when looked into my account nothing mentioning her recent stint in jail. All I wanted from this service is to see if she was alive. I see now that I probably wouldn't have known if she had passed away -- if that were the case. Fortunately, in this case, she was very much alive only incarcerated.

I found the page helpful. Due to health issues, I don’t have the time to use it like I thought I could. When it came time to cancel, because I’m on a tight budget being disabled, I decided to call and my experience was more pleasant than I ever could have hoped for. “Shalease” was the agent who helped me. She listened when I spoke, she was genuine, caring and most importantly, she was courteous with her knowledge. She didn’t sound the least bit condescending. (Many customer service reps tend to talk down to their customers when they are extremely knowledgeable in their department.) I was so thankful for her pleasant demeanor and her kind-heartedness was the cherry on top of my customer service experience cake. (A lot of the friendly agents out there sound as though they’re fake and trying too hard. It’s obvious and makes the conversation highly uncomfortable when this happens.)

The rep cancelled and refunded my $28 charge without asking me to locate the proof that I'd cancelled. I'm certain that I did cancel, but they actually believed me. Now I must find it and submit if I don't get the credit on my card.

My original sign up cost was 4.24. I used it one time and when I called to cancel I had as told I owed 27.00 plus. Will never use this service again. Very disappointed even though ease of cancellation was good.

I had many questions and paid the bill and the woman who helped me was extraordinarily helpful. I’ve been in public service many years and you should replicate her. She was excellent and I completely understood I had a. Bad day and she made it good.

The service took a long time to run. I was offered all kinds of deals and upgrades prior to being able to view the report. When I finally paid and received my report there was no recent and relevant data on the individual I was searching. Other sources confirmed there were search warrants outstanding, etc. Would not recommend Truthfinder.

Some of the information I questioned and wanted to investigate more but it wouldn't let me view the information. Also I thought it would provide dates or years that I resided at address but it just listed them. Lastly I used TruthFinder for DMV information but nothing was provided.

I liked the service but the addresses were not up to date. The party I was looking for moved to a new address 6 months ago and you still had the old address listed. The information needs to be more current.

I put my dad's name in. According to the site my dad is on a no fly list according to several federal agencies. Big problem! My dad died when he was 79 in 1997. How can a deceased person be on a no fly list?!!!

Before I paid the website claimed I had $229,000 in unclaimed assets. When I paid and got my report that was not true. The report said I had no unclaimed assets. Very deceptive and fraudulent. Therefore I want a refund.

You'll find this interesting. I forgot my wedding anniversary date. Did a search on myself. Narrowed results by my wife's name, city, etc., as the "report" took an inordinate amount of time to accrue and complete. During the report building, there was drama. Messages of my being on government watchlists, shocking revelations, embarrassing, surprises of what I may encounter in the report, etc., while watching an animated task bar struggle to complete each category. Suspense.

Great Customer Service with the person I spoke with- Cancellation was very easy-Wait time to speak with someone was short and transactions were very swift. The report was very accurate although it was missing the education I was desperately searching for.

So I had a posted a review about my bad experience with Truthfinder's service; specifically the lack of information I was seeking, information that had led me to their site in the first place because they advertised its availability (divorce information). He apologized and, although I wasn't seeking a refund (just didn't want to continue to be auto billed for information I couldn't get...), he said they would refund me in full and they did! So I can say this; if you're not happy with their service, they are very much attuned to customer satisfaction and will do the right thing. You can't say that about too many businesses today!

I contacted Truthfinder because I noticed a fee was assessed on my debit card after I canceled the service. I called customer service and the representative was very helpful in reversing the fee on my debit card of $27.78 and provided me with a cancellation reversal confirmation number **.

I ended up on TruthFinder for a wedding certificate. I was told it was free. It was not free. I paid then to my dissatisfaction there was not anything on what I needed. I thought e-mail information would be included and phone numbers. That would be extra so I left with the same information I started with. Nothing. Also you are not up to date on things and wrong information about people.

Your representative was excellent, she was able to identify my problem of continued billing due to my having two email addresses one a Google account and one an Apple and she was able to quickly identify that the service had been canceled on the Gmail account but it was still active on the Apple account which I was unaware of. I looked up my family just for fun. First off BOTH my parents are deceased. I am NOT listed on either parents as a child. Everyone of their ex Daughter in laws are listed as children of theirs. I am beyond angry being the only female child. I am DIVORCED. Yet I am listed as still married to my second ex. And owning HIS house. I own nothing. This owning his home alone could get me in big trouble and being listed as married (it did really as I have had to PROVE my divorce). There was much more that is listed that was many years old. I really can not understand how hard it would be to remove old information. People can not be married to two at once nor can they live in two states at once. Loads wrong.

Reports reviewed were extensive. A little confusing as a lot of the information may or may not have been relevant to the person I was checking on. Examples phone numbers, email accounts. I was trying to locate a high school friend and since there were so many phone numbers and emails it is making it difficult to use them as possible contacts. Time frame of hours for operation clashed with mine however once I actually spoke with a representative I was able to cancel my subscription and get my refund as I assumed I had already canceled. The service is great and easy to manage however unable to locate information on my friend that I’ve been searching for since I lost heard from him in 1999.

I canceled this service because I no longer needed it. My wife had dementia and would sometimes get online to order something or get trapped in a scam. She had a big heart and I had to be sure she was not harmed nor our limited finances. After I checked on what she did, I would run a background check, previously by another company, but found TruthFinder dug a little deeper. One way or the other, not going into details here, I would cancel what she had done and the next day she would remember nothing and we would set the next round of events. She just recently died and I am now continuing to clean up. With her gone, I no longer need this type of service. She was my little red Ferrari racing down the highway of life and I was the 18 Wheeler closing her back door. I still have a few doors to close. I talked with one girl who only wanted to argue with me and I could not get her to understand that the situation was on Truthfinder's and not PayPal, I asked to speak to a manager and she disconnected me so I called back and had away and got ahold of Tracy who was wonderful.
