Was extremely pleased with my advisor concerning my account. That should be the gold standard in customer service but unfortunately it’s not. It was a pleasure doing business with him and would advise you to have him teach other associates.

I called back in 2018 to cancel the subscriptions but whomever I got did nothing to cancel it nor left any notes. The gentleman I spoke to today was very understanding and took the time to research and went above and beyond to refund some of my money that I had paid out. He even called me back when I had to take an important call. Very polite young man and listened and handled my concerns. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful employee that truly cares about customers.

Time frame of hours for operation clashed with mine however once I actually spoke with a representative I was able to cancel my subscription and get my refund as I assumed I had already canceled. The service is great and easy to manage however unable to locate information on my friend that I’ve been searching for since I lost heard from him in 1999.

I canceled this service because I no longer needed it. My wife had dementia and would sometimes get online to order something or get trapped in a scam. She had a big heart and I had to be sure she was not harmed nor our limited finances. After I checked on what she did, I would run a background check, previously by another company, but found TruthFinder dug a little deeper. One way or the other, not going into details here, I would cancel what she had done and the next day she would remember nothing and we would set the next round of events. She just recently died and I am now continuing to clean up. With her gone, I no longer need this type of service. She was my little red Ferrari racing down the highway of life and I was the 18 Wheeler closing her back door. I still have a few doors to close. Thank you for the service and many thanks to the agent who handled this call.

I called because I am thinking about canceling my service. I only use it a few times a month & I was hoping there might be a cheaper plan for my type of service. But no luck. Chris was great in trying to help.

Retrieving reports. Clicked on finding information from general internet and website wanted me to sign up for Truthfinder without recognition that I was already a member. Your rep connected me to my report. Nice man.

Beware false content on targeted people. I reviewed, called website representative for assist, we could not delete the falsified information written as a high suspicion includes; prostitution, changing races/false locations/false relatives/felonies some dating back 30 years from all over the Nation linked to my common name no matter spelling as per popularity with same birthdate.

Not correct info. Will not let you leave a review unless it 5 stars. Incorrect dates on addresses. Says friends with people who I do not know. Places worked, not a one is correct. People I know when ran name had same problem. Wrong info or incorrect info.

Searched my name. I was very impressed with all the things you had on me and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to know what is out there. Every part of my life, phone numbers, addresses, email also every single one.

Was trying to find out if the gentleman that I’m seeing is being honest with me so I opted for the phone and email to see who he was calling or emailing but wasn’t given that information so this service was really useless for me.

Refund. I did not know that I had to unsubscribe. Jake was extremely helpful in resolving this matter. I was very satisfied when I located someone that I wanted to find. But the manner in which my issue was resolved was great.

I talked with one girl who only wanted to argue with me and I could not get her to understand that the situation was on Truthfinder's and not PayPal, I asked to speak to a manager and she disconnected me so I called back and had away and got ahold of Tracy who was wonderful. She quickly recognized the issue and was able to reset my account and I really appreciate her knowledge of the system and her willingness to help her customers.

Wanted more information about the subject but it was not provided or available. Some of the ways to retrieve information was not clear. So that was a little frustrating. While I still have some time left I might try to use it again to see if I have any more success.

I would recommend this website “Truth Finder”, to anyone who needs to be safe when dating or just be in the know of your friend's past. This has saved my life from really bad men. My experience with Truthfinder was great. I wasn't able to look up much because I had to do a biopsy on my eyes. However, I have another biopsy to do and I will then restart my Truthfinder. I would recommend it to anyone who needed it.

I found shocking information on a disgraced Lutheran pastor who I dated for a short while. The lying, perverted minister, who was forced to resign from his church, then decided to fake his education credentials, using my former university! The information lead me to an employment site. There were crossmatches between the two sites, and Truthfinder also revealed his date of birth, and clergy record for confirmation. Thank you Truthfinder.

This website is fairly accurate, info is good, customer service is excellent, will re-enroll when needed at a later date. I wish all sites like this one were as easy to use and the user could get the quality of customer service that I experienced. Would highly recommend this site.

This company does not take into account the what, why, or how someone found themselves in a bad problematic situation. All it does is rely on public records that are not completely honest. In my case, it states that I have 10 criminal background arrests, convictions, or who knows what exactly. It needs to know the why someone has been targeted by the authorities. Oftentimes, due to the for profit nature of the judicial system, those who have been wronged fall victim to misleading information that does not TRULY characterize someone. It's reason for the call for judicial reform in this country. Truthfinder needs to change its name to public for profit finder information or something along those lines.

Beware of the tactics of the accounts provided on this site, I purchased a one time access and found I had been billed for a premium access account, unfortunately it went unnoticed for a period of time because I wasn't expected the charges.

It is not right that there are HIPAA laws in all areas of our personal lives and records but I can search this crap and see my whole family listed. There has to be a law against this. Anyone could search this and find out all kinds of personal information. Beware to everyone! This is outrageously wrong.

Truthfinder is full of old news and untrue information. I have contacted them three times to tell them I am not this person they have me listed under and to remove this person whose birthdate is in 1900 from my profile. The person lives in Austin And I emailed at least four times to tell them that my middle name is not Nichole. I was born in 1978 and I have never been to Austin.

Wanted to know why there was no financial info in person I was checking. Rep said it because there was nothing negative showing up. It would have been more clear if the wording said there was no negative info rather than there was no information.

I found the information accurate and quite useful. The only downside to all these services is the evergreen opt in and needing to call to cancel. I don't consider this business model to be ethical, transparent and above board. This applies to all such services, not just Truthfinder's.

I was a little disappointed in the last minute add on fee for administrative services. But I got what I was looking for, so that is what mattered the most. The last second charging seemed like a car salesman tactic.

I was curious about what information was on record about me so I gave it a try to find out. All the information gleaned from records was true. I had no bad record so was not worried about any bad information coming to light.

While most data was accurate, education, jobs and criminal record were way off base! I hope no employer would use this site for background check, since it's so wrong. Also, some associates seemed far-fetched based on last time or some strange link.

Initially purchase to check myself out. I was satisfied with Truthfinder. Then for the heck of it ran old classmates from High School and college. It is interesting to see how they ended up at this point in life, compared to myself. Although no attempts at contact have been made, and probably wont be, it is still nice knowing that I could contact them should I desire. This information was usually available in very reasonable amounts of time. Additional facts concerning peoples former and current jobs was available and some of it seemed amazing to me.

I was hesitant at first using any kind of search website, however this worked out and it was easy. Our family was able to find an address for a sibling and it worked out great. There was no long term commitment and I was able to cancel with no problem.

Missing daughter. Able to locate her in jail. Had no idea where she was for 5 years. Was able to see who her friends are where she's been basically what she's been up to. It's a relief to me to know she's alive. I had no idea if she was dead or not. I've reached out to her on Facebook and she never answers.

I had forgot my on site info to get in! Had spoken to person, she was able to inform me of contract info and what's new. As a result I was able to review some of the info on myself, and others. Truthfinder charges a monthly access fee to obtain in depth information about a person which is supposed to include court records, social media profiles, arrests etc. I obtained two records from them which did not include ANY court information on the people in question which I had already found using the county searchable database including marriages, divorces and arrest records. Current job information is incorrect, contact info outdated. This company should not be allowed to market or charge for this service it is absolutely useless.

After clicking on free background check for anyone in the country I'm asked questions for 10 mins while they supposedly are looking up person of interest. So I answer the ridiculous questions about the person I'm looking up then finally they say, "The check is complete. Click here to review background." So I click there and they send me to a payment page asking for 27$ a month. What a waste of time. What a scam telling someone it's free then waste their time. How about asking for the money first then all the questions since you lie about the free background and you've wasted my time. No chance I'm paying for your service that's based on a lie.

A debt company from out west started sending my aged father a demand for payment for an alleged property that he and my mother purchased and owned in State College, PA, and they were in default with their mortgage loan!! I knew that the unit they lived in was always RENTAL property. I did call the company and explained that there must be a mistake. After contacting the company for this so-called mortgage loan that they were trying to collect on, that correspondence ceased. A few months later, my father again received information about property he and my mother DID own 30 years earlier. But, when my mother lost her job, they had to file for bankruptcy. Because of information from TRUTH FINDER, I was able to submit the legal absolution from the bankruptcy and told the company NEVER to contact my father again!!! I thank you, that you gave both my father and I peace of mind.

I would have given a five star but I just canceled the service and then was charged again the same day. I was told my service ends on Jan. 2. Why was I charged the same day I canceled? It wasn’t even the regular day a payment would normally go through. That’s just wrong.

I searched for my missing adult daughter. Using her social security number, I was able to gain access to an enormous amount of accurate data. Although I will not invade in her privacy using the info, at least I know know where she is. As I am quite ill, and am 80 years old, the search has given me great comfort.
