When I need general information on someone's background, Truthfinder has been invaluable at returning the information I'm looking for quickly - it's the perfect companion to the authorized background checks we run through our CRA. If there's one thing I don't like it's that we have to submit subscription cancelations via phone rather than online.

I look up my own name and found several errors, which make me question your accuracy. One was my husband's ex-wife was listed at this address and she has never been in Mich and died 2 years ago. Also said that I had lived in MO, which is untrue.

Searching for an old acquaintance and found he was deceased. Through further searching the links in the report, I was able to contact his relative and discover what happened to him. Sad ending for me but now I know the truth.

Good information on website, helpful people when you have a question. I decided to cancel and there were no hassles or problems in doing so. Just was done using it so that's why I cancelled, wish I knew more people to check out, very helpful.

Your company is a scam. The Man I checked on has been in jail for almost a year. You guys didn't know crap. I found it in a public website. And you're supposed to have all the information. Thanks but no thanks for your scam!!!

Lawrence who I spoke with to cancel my subscription was very accommodating and polite. He took care of it in a very timely manner…great experience talking to him. It’s just not a service I can keep on a monthly basis especially right now.

Had issues with recurring membership charges. Was helped immediately and problem resolved. Was told that charges would be reversed to original payment method and membership canceled. Young lady on the phone was very helpful and informative. Was also informed that I would still be able to use the service for nearly an extra month free of charge.

In the past I have used several services to vet people I've met through dating sites. TruthFinders is by far the easiest to navigate and offers more information than any of the other services I tried. When I decided I no longer needed to subscribe to TruthFinders, I dreaded the cancellation process. But it couldn't have been easier. The customer service rep quickly processed my cancellation. TruthFinder is more user friendly, more information and great customer service than others I’ve tried during probation period. Mix up with fees was dealt with immediately. You talk to a human which I liked. It’s secured and steps to prevent fraud.

Good report and produced in a decent timeframe. But the process kept asking for more info about ME. I do not like to be collected upon, and your customers should not have to divulge all their data to get a report on someone else. Our info is already available in public records. I only needed a single search and appreciated the discounted rate of $7.46+ for a one week trial. BUT was thoroughly disappointed when I was gouged for another $3.99+ for a "downloadable" pdf. It takes ZERO effort or data cost on your part to deliver a pdf file - it is automatically generated. Why stick your customer with a bogus charge? This "bill" also comes due at THE END of the whole process and after I have already joined: if I want the report now, I have to pay more. Not good.

The customer service rep was very understanding, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I would recommend speaking with her every time. She explained my current program and recommended a better program for my usage. I'm very pleased to be able to talk with a human being and most of all someone who speaks English and someone you can understand. This means we are putting Anericans back to work again.

I spoke with Paul at customer service. He was very pleasant and got me what I needed in very short order. I really appreciate it him. I would use them again in the future if the need arose. The price compared to other sites is very affordable.

I just needed 1 look up and I canceled the very next day but still was charged $29.90. For one day one look up. I received much useful information on my reports yet I felt they were not complete or up-to-date, addresses were not current, nor were the Criminal record reports. Deceased persons were not listed as such, rather still living. I needed more information.

Agent was very skilled at customer service. Got my issue with billing fixed quickly. I REALLY appreciate a company that uses US employees and doesn't outsource their customer service. Hopefully you don't mandate vaccines for your employees because I would have to stop using you.

I thought your idea of a life timeline was a good one, but even on that matter the subject's father was not mentioned. Nothing was provided about current or past occupations/work history. And nothing was given in the TruthFinder report about any of her associations (organizations, groups, etc.). Her current property ownership and history were incomplete or inaccurate. Overall the subject was poorly researched.

I was very pleased with Truthfinder. It supplied me with some interesting and valuable information. Some of the possible relatives were not related, but that was a minor thing and not really a problem. I would certainly use your services again in the future if needed. Thank you!

I was frustrated not being able to view the searches I call the phone number listed and was connected with what I believe is one of your best CSR troubleshooters. Truthfinder should start by being truthful in what they actually offer once you have paid your subscription and joined the membership. Truthfinder promises you to find a whole bunch of necessary information until you get caught in their lies. Once you have joined the membership, they offer you quarter of what they have mentioned while you are filling out the form… Don’t get fooled by joining truth finder because you will get totally disappointing by the limited amount of information they offer you.

Needed to find any outstanding records for deceased family member. While researching online how we could accomplish and verify, I ran across possibly using TruthFinder as a source. I was able to find and use Truthfinder data report for what was missing.

I looked up my information. A person I posted bond for was listed as an associate. I checked a minister who had helped a Parolee, adjust to freedom, and the Parolee was listed as an associate of the minister. Each event did not qualify the person helped as an associate of an investigator or a minister. The 3 stars are for information that might be questionable.

Excellent… It was amazingly awesome to talk to a US citizen. Not a foreigner, that you can’t understand and says his name is John or David. It’s so frustrating for companies to be so cheap in outsourcing their customer service. It proves they don’t care about their customers and it’s miserable to call in to companies that do business this way!

Kathy was personable & solicitous in meeting my request to cancel service… She immediately reversed the monthly charge that was accidentally levied on my bank account. I had cancelled service on 9-11-21 but was charged for October this morning. I enjoyed Truthfinder.

The report was much more detailed than I was expecting it to be. Gave me all the information I was looking for plus some. The report even includes the person's family members, previous people they lived with, all known addresses, email addresses and phone numbers. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone needing to find some information on someone.

This site has proven to be accurate and has been very helpful in checking backgrounds. It even gives possible relatives and you can easily pull their backgrounds as well. Customer service was very helpful with my billing concern as well.

We were able to find the relatives we were look for. We were in probate in Colorado. People we looking for were all over the United States. We were able to find these people through their neighbors and also connect through relatives to find other relatives.

Although I could not pull my own report, I was able to connect with Jesse at the customer service department. He explained to me quickly and efficiently why my report could not be pulled and then immediately canceled my subscription giving me my money back. I encountered a questionable character through fb marketplace, when buying paint for a house project. His Alias was Carlo Carlo....and he told us he was 30 and from Italy... Well lo and behold we also needed a painter for our project, which he was happy to give us an estimate....but he was grooming me and attempted to get me to meet him alone, in a hotel room. I was so disoriented by his brazen pursuit, but was flooded with fear and needed to be stabilized during this destabilizing flood of flattery and niceness....

I was looking for a specific piece of info in my search, the latest address for someone, and the report did not include that. I canceled my subscription since I did not find the info I needed. I'm not sure I'll try Truthfinder again since I'm disappointed with the results.

The information obtained was 75% true with some faults names and addresses. I also felt it was not as thorough as I expected it to be. However I did use it and would pay that first month but I do not want it any longer.

I was looking for an arrest record for court purposes when I couldn’t find her name anywhere! So I started searching close family members out of curiosity. What I found was that my father, son, best friend and myself had very little right and intertwined with someone else that may or may or have a common factor such as a first or last name. I had the the before me that owned my house as family members. My father was confused with someone in California. His name was right and birthday and address. But intertwined was this other guy and his family as family members and addresses and social media. My father and I both were labeled Hispanic. We are not! My son was the same way. Only his was a girl from another state as well.

I was unaware that what I thought was only a trail period would automatically go to a bi-monthly subscription.. I called and the matter was corrected easily and cheerfully. EXCELLENT Customer service. The service representative was very pleasant and professional.

I wanted information on a friend and I knew most of the information they sent me. The friend was deceased which wasn’t not included. I was looking for marriage records. I knew he married once and applied for a second marriage license. He also lived in Washington which the address was not included.

I had researched a person I knew using Truthfinder and several days later I just entered his name in my laptop and was extremely surprised that he had passed on 3 yrs ago. The info was all correct except there was no mention that he died in 2018. DOB 03/22/1939 and passed on 05/13/ 2018. I wanted to inform truthfinder of this. I have been very satisfied with my experience with truthfinder otherwise.

This site was user friendly and was a good experience. It gave me information I was looking for and needed, but it also revealed untrue information. I would like to know how to report wrong information and how to get it changed.

Looked up many people. Did not have marriages, kids, work or any criminal history that I know is valid. All the information provided, I already knew and was VERY general. I was trying to find first marriages and none was provided. I was trying to locate a formal sister-in-law to send her important information and reconnect. I knew everything but her maiden name, nothing came up under my brother.

It took a long time gain little info. Initially it said $1 cost, then much later it was $3.99. It took so long I gave up. Then today I called to cancel the monthly charge. Livi was very nice in cancelling my extra monthly charges. In my opinion, I would prefer to know what the time and extra charges were. I should not have to pay those charges right away.

Added Charges Can easily add up as you might want them for more information. Checked my credit card for the charges which have not shown up yet. At this time I am in dispute for the charges. I look forward to a good response. I forgot some of the addresses where I once lived and even the stuff I wanted to forget was there, such my past bankruptcy and past IRS problem. Bravo Truthfinder!!

Truth Finder found the man I was looking for. I was told this man had an extensive arrest record and had been convicted of child molestation. Totally untrue and such a relief. I was able to confront the liar and show that this man has never been arrested for anything other than trespassing.

It appeared that I was subscribing to a service at $23.99 but the receipt was $46.99 so I felt misled. I didn't get the info I was looking for which was a will or no will for my father who I found out died in 2017. Your info does not show he is deceased. My own info is missing so much and incorrectly dated on all items. The rep was outstanding and explained the limitations on the info Truthfinder receives and he was very understanding. I subscribed solely because the ads indicated that divorce and marriage information would be provided. That was the only information I required. Only after paying the fee and receiving the report did I realize that none of this information was included. At best, I consider this to be deceptive advertising. One trip to the court house and $5 of fees got me the information I wanted. This easily could have been part of the subscription.

I’ve been called to cancel. They giving me the run around then took money off my card for nothing when I don’t even use Truthfinder anymore. Been called to complain. I feel like they scamming me. Not cool so if I was y’all I would not use a card that I use daily anymore. I lost my card and my service was canceled due to billing a card that had been deactivated. I called membership twice and both of the representatives were courteous and professional and demonstrated a caring attitude by helping me reestablish my membership at my old rate.

I tried to change my credit card info to a new card. It took two phone calls to get my account fixed. Both customer service agents were very good but the first one said it should correct itself in a couple days and if not to call back. It did not so I could not use the service for several days. I called back and the second customer service agent was able to correct the problem.

Having been a member of TF.com for over a year, it is sad that the past few weeks have been abysmal to say the least. From inaccurate information to spontaneously being kick off, to getting trap in a cycle of not being able to return to the main screen to now, not even being able to receive information at all (the information that matters for my business). However, to be fair, I have been very satisfied with TF.com in the past... The sketchiness was only sporadic and short lived... Yet, It has gotten a lot worse with time.

I was pleased with how quickly TruthFinder returned results. However, the searches did not deliver all information, some of which I already had verified via online searches of my own, including but not limited to arrests, convictions, status of professional business licenses. I had to do further online searches myself, as well as make additional telephone calls myself. In was disappointed at the limited amount of information in the TruthFinder results, as most of it was general information I either already had or had to do further research on my own to obtain.

The woman who took my call was very polite and helpful. I didn't realize that when I signed up for TruthFinder that there was a Monthly Fee. I thought it was a one time charge. Much of the information that I was seeking was not found.

The customer service representative explained the options for renewal very well. She walked me through some of the features I will be using in the future. She verified that my subscription had been renewed for the current and subsequent months until I contact Truthfinder to suspend the subscription.

I loved using TruthFinder for the couple months that I had it. It was awesome! Unfortunately due to lack of money, I had to cancel my subscription. But honestly if you have the money, it’s great for checking out who is living near you that is a pedophile or, that has a record or anything else you want to know about anybody it’s there!

I was unable to locate any information on the person I was searching for. However they are in the military back in 1991. Information may not be available so I cancelled a subscription. When I got to the end of the very first lookup, I waited for further instructions, saying "now log back in to your account, scroll down the searches you did, etc." and but no email came, but I guess you're supposed to figure that out, a little awkward but I figured it out and got the report.

My experience was not good to receive a charge to my bank account that was incorrect. I cancelled my account, but days later was charged again. Contacting you was extremely difficult. I'm still waiting for a reply to my e-mail. Finally contacted someone by phone after being on hold for quite along time. Seems you try to make it as difficult as possible to cancel. After finally contacting someone the problem seems to be taken care of. The person I talked to was very pleasant and helpful in resolving this problem and assured me the charge would be reversed in my account. I'll wait to see if this really happens.

I am grateful for the help from Truth Finder. Very important information! I just needed a one time setup information. So for the $30 I paid for one month subscription, it was worth it. I was able to find some information about some long lost relatives on Truthfinder, so it is a good adjunct to my Ancestry.com membership, which does not have a very good search engine. My only complaint is that it is just too expensive.

I found the background check to be mostly reliable and accurate. I checked it by searching myself and family members and there were a few minor pieces of inaccurate info. Overall, it was very helpful. When it came time to discontinue membership, it was a simple phone call...no jumping through hoops or anyone trying to persuade you to continue.

To receive a report there's always a additional fee to many additional fees for searches that you guys don't disclose when I signed up for a trial and now you want me to have so many words in my description and I'm not satisfied with that, you guys want too much from your customers, but everything we get it's always that you guys have to paid so is there anything you guys do that customers don't pay for.
