I order a pair of snow boots for my Fiancé for Christmas and received in a timely manner. She tried them on for Christmas and fit well. The next day one of the bootstraps pulled off as she was putting on her new boots. Customer service wanted me to buy a new pair of boots at the guaranteed same price which was five dollars more than the current sale price! The boots are defective and they will not warranty now. They will not stand by him anyway whatsoever because she put them on to see if they fit therefore they say she wore them and cannot be returned. They also want to charge a restocking fee. No free returns and no Warranties. Do not buy from Shoes.com unless you are eager for disappointment and unnecessary aggravation. Thank God the boots only cost $35.00. Paid tuition to learn about a deceptive business. I can only hope that they go out of business before ripping off any more of the public!

I got a notice that item shipped on the 31st. Today is Jan 4th and UPS still shows only label created. Contacted customer service and after insisting it had been shipped, discovered that facility shipping shoes is closed until January 13th and they are unable to cancel the order and issue a refund until after that. I even spoke to a supervisor who is unwilling to help. The website states will receive in 1 to 5 business days... Well, they are talking at least 3 weeks if it doesn't ship until the 13th or 14th. That is unacceptable and I feel like they have stolen my money.

I bought two identical pairs of Clarks shoes from Shoes.com. I felt confident about ordering them online because of their "free returns." Only when I went to return them did I learn of their $6.95 re-stocking fee, per item. So, it COST ME $14.00 to try on 2 pairs of shoes. In the past, I've bought Clarks directly from Clarks and also from Amazon, where "free returns" really are free. This is false advertising. Shoes.com is a disreputable company that engages in sleazy business practices. IF ONLY I had looked up reviews on them before ordering!

Shoes.com is by far the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I bought my wife a pair of shoes for Christmas and the shoes were too big, so 3 attempts were made to exchange the shoes through their website using their exchange policy. Shoes.com's garbage website returned an order cannot be completed pop-up 3 times, yet you still processed 3 withdrawals of $168.01 CDN from my bank account.
When I called and spoke to a gentleman in customer service, he advised only a manager could reverse the charges and stated he would send a note asking for the charges to be reversed within 24 to 48 hours. I stated that was not acceptable and then I asked to speak with a manager to have the charges reversed immediately. I was placed on a prolonged hold "while he attempted to find a manager." After almost 30 minutes, my call was transferred to a "manager" who really wasn't a manager because she told me the same thing as the level 1 customer service agent I originally spoke with. So I was lied to and pushed off onto another level 1 agent who refused to allow me to speak with a manager. Instead of exchanging the shoes, I decided to return them, as I have zero faith in Shoes.com and its employees. I've now got $796.47 CDN of my money tied up trying to get my wife a pair of shoes that fit.

So I had been searching around different sites for a specific pair of shoes I wanted for an event. The prices were the same on each site I visited, but I purchased through Shoes.com because there was a notice on the listing for my shoes that if ordered by 4 pm, they would be shipped the same day. I ordered at 3 pm. I’m shop mostly on Amazon and I am used to super speedy shipping through Prime, so I just assumed shoes.com would be able to get them out within the hour, especially since their site expressly notes they would go out if ordered by 4 pm. Silly me for expecting Amazon level service. They didn’t go out the evening. Or the next day, or the next day. So finally I contacted customer service and the woman I spoke to said “it takes 1-5 days to process and order.” ??? I told her what it said on the site and she just said, “yes I see that it says that, but unfortunately it takes 1-5 days to process.”
I told her that I wanted to cancel my order because I was mislead. I ordered from their site because I thought the shoes would be shipped the same day, and now since they hadn’t gone out, they wouldn’t arrive in time for the event I needed them for. I asked how I could cancel on the site and she told me that I couldn’t, that she would have to process my request, but if my order was processing it couldn’t be done. The next day I got a notice saying the shoes were ready to ship. It looks like that will be arriving, but after my event. Let’s see if returns go smoothly... (not betting on it).

Purchased shoes from them. They arrived and one was definitely used when I took them out of the box shortly after they arrived. Not only that, but it looked like someone had attempted to clean one on the rubber and the suede, plus there was a long hair inside of one of the shoes. So gross and unsanitary, not to mention a total rip off because I didn’t buy used shoes. Contacted them immediately and sent pictures, I received a emailed response from Jamika telling me to send them back for a return and they will investigate whether they are defective or not and charge me $6.95 if they aren’t deemed defective. I was just thinking before this that a mistake had been made and I would exchange them for a unused pair. But now I was mad. So I called them and spoke with Jonathan and requested to speak with a supervisor and while I was pulling my order number up he hung up on me.
So I called back and spoke with Sandra and was told she was trying to teach a supervisor for 15 minutes, then told me they all went home for the day and someone would call me the next day. Nobody called all day, or halfway into today. I called just now and spoke with Albert. After explaining to him what happened, he asked if a manager called me yesterday and then asked if I did not get a voicemail. I double checked and no missed calls or voicemails. I can’t believe these people lie and document that they called a customer when they didn’t AND they're managers doing it! He confirmed my phone number and they had the correct one.
Finally got transfer to a supervisor, Lilian, who was really nice, but all she could do was waive the restocking fees and after more back and forth offered me a 30% off coupon. I declined since those coupons get emailed to me constantly anyway, but she said there was nothing else she could do. They also don’t have the ability to send UPS to you to pick up your returned used item, so you have to drive to it UPS after all of this other drama. Unbelievable. They are the worst company to deal with and I would never assume what I’m getting from them going forward isn’t defective or used. There are so many other shoe stores online that don’t operate this way, save yourself the headache. (PS - they also are Shoebuy.com.)

I'm so glad I have just read all these reviews, because I now realize that all of this horrible customer service and shady dealings are just part of their horrifying customer service model. In dealing with Manager Steve, I believe somewhere in Massachusetts, I actually felt like my sanity was at stake...as if I were being "gaslighted," being told I had absolutely done something I hadn't. He is mean, condescending and gives a sickening meaning to the word customer care. Purchased a pair of boots which after trying on, decided to return. They were fine...just didn't work as well as I had hoped. That is the beauty of being able to purchase from an online company with "free returns." I packaged them up and sent them back, after being given a free shipping label. Like so many others, these shoes were sent right back with a note saying they had been worn, which they had not. Only tried on in my bedroom.
I was told my manager Steve that I had definitely worn them and that their decision was final, in a very stern, arrogant tone. Nothing like what I'm used to where customer service will work with you to try to resolve. Just plain "no" you know you wore them and we cannot help you...then silence. So here we are, with no recourse. The shoes are in perfect condition and were returned in original packaging and I have pictures to prove, which I actually sent to them. But it is obviously their practice to limit returns, so this is how they do it. Never experienced this as I most always deal with reputable companies and had thought for some reason that I was doing the same with Shoes.com. I hope all of these negative reviews force them out of business! I had always had great customer service with Shoebuy and didn't realize that Shoes.com was an entirely different organization. STAY AWAY!!!

I ordered a pair of shoes (Timberland Wheat boots) for my husband for Christmas. When my husband opened the box he noticed the shoes had a long black scuff mark and had various other smaller marks to give the appearance of a worn shoe. I contacted shoes.com about the looks of the shoe and the rep refused to let me speak with a manager in regard to receiving a partial credit or really just anything for the defective shoe.
The rep stated that managers would not be available for 48 hours and the only thing I could do was return the shoes for a full refund. She stated that she had no proof that the shoes were defective and would not accept any photos. I don’t like how it takes 48 hours to speak with a manager and how they don’t strive to deliver great customer service. I’ve never experienced such bad customer service. I will not be shopping with this company EVER again.

The site clearly stated that if you ordered by a certain date and time, holiday shipping was guaranteed. When my order hadn't even been shipped 2 days before the holiday, I called the helpline. I was politely blamed for my own inadequacies at putting the correct code in the correct box. The code I had clipped directly from their website was only for a percentage off and not the same percentage plus expedited shipping???
Customer service was very quick to blame me for picking the wrong code (who would ever pick just a percentage and know that somewhere on the site was another code that included the same percent plus expedited holiday shipping?). They refused to compensate in any way or even acknowledge that they had poorly advertised their holiday shipping deadline. Customer service 100% blamed the customer. I guess in their minds, it's perfectly acceptable to make the customer jump through hoops and catch them on the fine print to avoid having to honor their stated holiday promotions. IF you ever purchase from them, make sure you get ready to have them somehow not follow through and then blame you.

I decided to purchase Converse off their website. I completed my order and submitted for process. It kicked back a message that my card could not be processed/payment declined, please retry. I checked my account and everything was fine so I resubmitted one order. And I got the same message again. So, I decided not to proceed. I called my bank and was told I was charged 2x by them and my card was ran for the same amount 7x more by them. My order was never processed nor did I receive a confirmation number. Yet they were able to charge me numerous times. I called Shoe.com to fix this issue but they insisted I call my bank because the problem was with them.
I called numerous times to Shoe.com just to get the runaround from their outsourced customer service reps... "We never charged your card, the address doesn’t match what our records have on file for you, we have to pre-authorize your card for the amount but we will need to hold another $75.56 again for processing." SHOE.com already costing me a huge dent in my account to NOT have a order placed for 2 Converse. And, still took my money. Best part they will hold on to the money until My bank contacts them that it’s okay to use my VALID Card to make this purchase which I clearly didn’t want after the 2nd try to order. It’s been days and still no money refunded by Shoe.com or my bank since it’s still pending. Never Again...do not give this company your money.

Return policy requires the original shipping box—not just the shoebox. Mine was damaged when I received it, so I sent the shoebox back on its own. I received no notification from the company that this was going to happen, but I got a notification from UPS (the day I left town for three weeks, naturally) that I was receiving a package tomorrow. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be the package from Shoes.com that I had sent back last week.
I called them and they were extremely unhelpful and unaccommodating. The agent kept repeating that I should have sent it back in the original box, not seeming to understand that said box at Vendome edged. Obviously, the shoe box was damaged by UPS when it was sent back. They claim they can’t sell a pair of shoes again if the box is damaged, and I find that absolutely ridiculous. I’ve often received shoes with a damaged box, and I can’t imagine that that’s a huge deal to anyone with a pair of shoes that’s under $100. I’m really angry that I have now wasted $95 on a pair of shoes that doesn’t fit. Never shopping with them again and would recommend staying away.

I ordered a pair of shoes from Shoes.com on October 29. They were supposed to be delivered November 1 but I never received the shoes. I still have not gotten my money back for a pair of shoes that was lost. Last contact I had with them was last week and they said it would take 3 to 5 business days once the complaint was resolved, we are on day six.

I ordered a pair of boots on 11/24. I contacted customer service on 12/5 because I hadn't received. They said they were opening an investigation with UPS to find package. I called on 12/10 to follow up and was told they had not opened the investigation after all because they were busy but would open it right away. I called today on 12/17 and was told it is a 10 business day process (Christmas Eve in this case) before they'd know anything despite being told it would be 48 hours way back on the 5th. I asked for any alternatives and the supervisor told me they could cancel order and give me 30% off on reorder.
The boots I ordered are no longer available due to the holidays and I already have an email code for 30% off anyway so I requested options and also an offer better than I already had due to the circumstances. He said that is the best he could do so I could take it or leave it. He placed me on hold before coming back to advise they cancelled my order and would process a refund. Shipping issues are not in their control but how they respond is and they could not have been less helpful. No alternatives and no options except wait until Christmas Eve and see what happens. As a multiple purchase customer I am so disappointed in their response and their lack of effort to find a solution. I will never purchase from them again!

I purchased a pair of shoes. I took the shoes out of the box, put them on my feet, walked 20 feet (on concrete), turned around, came right back from where I started, took them off, and put them in the box. I printed out a return label, sent them back because they did not fit. SHOES.com then sent the package back to me with a note saying the shoes had been worn. I asked for proof that they has been worn so they sent me pictures, and to their credit there was some dirt on the bottom where I stepped on the ground, however, after simply wiping my hands over the sole, they looked like new.
So, after speaking with their customer service team and director, they officially said I had worn the shoes and I would not get a refund and they were unwilling to return a pair of $50 shoes. $50 is apparently worth more than losing a customer forever and having the world know how bad their customer service is. I will never purchase from this company again.

Returned a bought pair of shoes for a size exchange. Shoes.com was very quiet - no email or anything. I used their online form (worthless!) to contact them 3 times about why I hadn't heard anything or hadn't received the replacement pair - never a response. So, I took time out from my busy schedule to call, and I found out the original pair I wanted to exchange was being shipped back to me. They claimed the shoes were dirty and had been worn. Not at all true! Those shoes were immaculate and I had only tried them on inside the house. That's what your customers need to do, shoes.com - try them on to see if they are right. Chris the idiot customer service apparently wanted to put my request in a request but there is guaranty for it, he said. That is completely a lie. I returned these boots 15 minutes after taking them out of the box as I received them with the tags attached. This company scams customers and now I have read review after review that says as much. Lesson learned is check out the company before ordering online or stick to Amazon. Many people only come to these sites to complain. I on the other hand have had nothing but positive experiences with this company. Great prices, great selection, great fit, fast shipping, tons of discounts and I promise you will have a hard time beating the prices. Most of the complaints I read were about returning shoes. These are probably the same people that drink a half gallon of milk then decide to return it for their money back. If you do your homework research the type of shoe, know your shoe size, you shouldn’t have a problem at all. I hope those helps, overall a great company to buy from.

I ordered a pair of Dr. Martens from this website before reading the reviews, and after I read them I was TERRIFIED. Fortunately, my shoes arrived in the mail in a timely manner in the right size, style, and perfect condition. I am perfectly satisfied with my purchase, and I got a HUGE discount. Most of the negative reviews I have seen deal with returns gone wrong or wrong sizing which may be due to the fact that the website asks for your UK shoe size which is two sizes smaller. Moral of the story, if you want a good discount and are confident that you won't want to return the shoes you order you should totally order from this website. Just pay very close attention to what shoe size it's asking for and don't try to return anything lol.

I ordered a $140 shoe from this place, will never do that again. Please be aware that if you try on a shoe they may not accept it even if it was in the same condition that you bought it for. I am very disappointed with this company, I thought they were reputable. Companies such as this one is the reason people shop at Amazon exclusively. They returned to me the shoe I bought citing that they will be unable to resell the shoe. The shoe I returned is unblemished and thinking that there would be a refund coming to my account, I bought the same one with the right size.
For a shoe business, they have a ridiculous idea that customers need to try on the shoe specially when it is purchased online. I am disappointed that I bought from this company and I urge would be buyers to try other places. Don’t be lured by the deep discounts, they will make you pay more. Customer service is abysmal. My suggestion to anyone thinking about buying from this company is DON'T. Little did I know they were loaded up with restrictions. Restocking fees. God help you if you throw away ANY part of the box, even the inside tissue, they'll reject the return. Also, ANY WEAR over trying on shoes while sitting will reject the return. That includes walking around your home for an hour, or walking to the mailbox - REJECTED. I have purchased several pairs of shoes per year for myself and various family members at Shoes.com (formerly ShoeBuy.com) for many years and never had a problem before, presumably because I was ordering shoes that I was familiar with and knew exactly what size to get, and I ordered the same brands and styles repeatedly, so I never had to worry about returns or dealing with customer service. Recently, however, I ordered some very expensive orthotic shoes for both myself and my mother, and it was a nightmare. I did a lot of research before deciding which brand and style to order, and my decision was ultimately based on the information provided by Shoes.com as well as the glowing 4- and 5-star reviews.
The website said that the shoes ran small and recommended ordering a larger size that you would normally wear, and reviews stated that they were only small in width, not length. I normally wear a 7 wide and my mother normally wears a 6, so I ordered a 7 extra wide for myself and a 6 wide for my mother. Mine were huge but I still drove 30 miles to drop off the other pair to my mother, hoping that hers would fit better. She had the same result but, rather than making a special trip to pick them up, and because Shoes.com makes such a big deal of their free returns and exchanges policy, I simply ordered another pair for myself in a 6.5 wide, thinking that I would return the other two pairs for a refund after my next visit to her, as she had decided that she didn't want another pair.
The second pair that I had ordered for myself also turned out to be huge so I tried on the pair that I got back from her and they were also too big. Mind you, this pair was a full size smaller than I normally wear and they were still too big, even though Shoes.com said they run small. At that point, I just figured I would return all 3 pairs at their expense and the only thing I would have lost would be my time. They did send pre-paid return labels, but they charged me a total of $20.85 because the fine print buried deep in the website says that you have to pay a restocking fee of $6.95 for each pair that you return for a refund rather than exchanging. So much for the free returns and exchanges that they have plastered all over the website.
But still, even though the restocking fees came as a shock, I accepted it and chalked it up to a lesson learned. But in order to hopefully prevent someone else from going through the same ordeal, I submitted a very respectful but detailed review...and it was never posted. A week later, I submitted a second review that was also not posted. Now I know why all the reviews are 4 and 5 stars...because Shoes.com refuses to post any review that might hurt their bottom line. It's sad really, because this was the only place that I have purchased shoes for so many years, and now I will never shop there again.

This be name, address etc., etc. Needless to say I received an email confirming the order and the shipping address and billing address were both wrong. I called to have it changed and the agent changed it and I then asked for the agent to repeat it back to double check. Again they repeated back the wrong address. So I canceled the order and checked my credit card and there is a charge for the purchase but the guarantee it will come off of the card in 3 to 5 days. Asked for an email to confirm the cancellations and was told there will not be one and, "Not to worry. You will be refunded." WHAT. You have got to be kidding me. I’ll wait and see. They are fast to take your money but slow to refund it. I’ve used them twice FIRST AND LAST.

I have such a very bad experience customer service with Shoes.com!!! So, I bought shoes for my boyfriend, but unfortunately, my boyfriend couldn’t wear it because the shoes were too small for him. I knew that it had been 3 months after I purchased these shoes. The thing is that I bought his shoes when he was in the army’s training which takes about 3-4months. When he came out and tried. They couldn’t fit him and I was trying to give his shoes to my dad or brother, but no one could not wear them. So I called the customer service at Shoes.com if it possible to exchange the shoes to the size that my boyfriend could wear, but they refused to exchange them for me.
I tried to tell them the reason why I wanted to exchange these shoes after two months. I told them that I didn’t ask for returning but I just wanted to exchange them. The person who talk to me hold on the phone and let me wait for about 15 mins, so that he could talk to the manager. When he came back, he told me that they didn’t have more bigger size left. The only thing I could do was returning those shoes and they would give me the refund. Well, I said, "If you guys don’t have the bigger size, I think I will just return it."
So, the person who talked to me said that I have to send them back to the warehouse which I have to spend 10 USD for the shipping because they cannot send me the pre-paid label. When they received the shoes, they had to minus the restocking fee which I understood that. Basically the whole process of returning minus my the price of the shipping and restocking, I got 5.29 USD back.

Recently purchased a $100+ pair of shoes advertised as wide width. Width was more medium. Tried on shoes and walked around in them for a few minutes and determined they would not work out for me. Requested label to return for refund less ‘restocking fee’. Shoes were returned to me without notice indicating that they had been worn and soles were scuffed and therefore unsellable. Pretty shady and sketchy. If you don’t try them on you won’t know if they fit. If you try them on and they don’t fit you have now ‘worn’ them and they won’t accept returns. Wish I had seen these reviews/complaints before buying. Seems that it is a no win situation for the consumer. I will never buy from them again and strongly recommend not buying from these shysters.

DO NOT PAY FOR NEXT DAY SERVICE. I ordered the Steve Madden Sinclair Mules on Oct 25,18 and paid an extra $20.00 for next day service. It is now Oct 28, 2018 and the shoe has not arrived. I called Shoes.com customer service and spoke to Camilo a phone representative and I spoke to Daniel a supervisor both representatives of Shoes.com refused to refund me for the next day delivery service. Instead they directed me to their extremely hard to find shipping policies on Shoes.com's website and said per their policy I am receiving next day delivery service.
Truly prior to completing my purchase I searched Shoes.com's website for an explanation of their next day delivery service but couldn't find anything on their website pertaining to an explanation of Shoes.com delivery services. My expectations for next day delivery is truly next day not 3 to 5 days after my order is placed. According to Daniel the Shoes.com supervisor I should have called Shoes.com if I had concerns about delivery options prior to placing my order and at this point there is nothing he can do for me. Daniel also told me I should expect the shoe to arrive by Oct 29, 2018 which is 4 days after I placed my order. This is horrible customer service and Shoes.com next day delivery is misleading and a false statement. Never ever spend the extra money for next day delivery with Shoes.com.

Today I called the customer service line regarding my recent purchase to request an exchange. The shoes were worn for two hours and were not dirty. I stated I was a new customer, and I inadvertently ordered the wrong size. I stated I read their return policy but it appeared subject to approval and hoping they would accept my request. During my phone conversation, the customer service representative, repeatedly laughed, interrupted and frequently stated the return policy. Their return policy states "Items should be unworn" not "CANNOT be worn."
I quickly became irritable with the CSR and requested a supervisor. The CSR stated he would transfer me, but it was pointless because they would repeat the same verbiage. Yes, the supervisor was repetitive, however, offered a 30% discount to purchase another pair of shoes which is their current sale. I requested to exchange not purchase another pair! Customer support person's job is to listen and resolve. My issue wasn't resolved, and it appears neither were many others. Stick with Nordstrom, people. Second if you don't have the original box that is the shoe box, they will not accept the returns. Sadly enough I did not save that box (would you?) and therefore they will not accept the shoes if they are returned. I talked to Javier, the man that answered the phone, Alex, the supervisor and Steve the manager. All I got was "that's the policy" and they would offer no exceptions. I've never dealt with any other company that demands returns be in the "original" box and all other things that were in the package and in the shoe box. I noticed that overall this company did not receive many positive reviews. I should have looked here first.

However, they fail to tell you that they charge you for the pair that will be sent to exchange the ones you've already bought!! So, after going through the whole process, 20 minutes later I changed my mind and called them back to cancel the exchange. Spoke to the first moron that said I only had 5 minutes to change my mind on the order. I turn I asked for a supervisor named "Ryan" (no ID or badge number). Went through the whole process with him. He told me that he had sent an email to the warehouse. This was on Thursday Sept 27th and that I hadn't seen the cancellation of order by email by Tuesday that I should call back.
So Tuesday (today) rolls around and what do I get but a confirmation of shipment for the order that I canceled. Needless to say, I'm mad as a wet hen by now. I call them back. Went through the WHOLE thing AGAIN. And their answer? "Well, we'll waive the restocking fee for you"! When their website explicitly says "FREE RETURNS AND EXCHANGES". I made the huge mistake of wearing them to work: from my house to my car in the driveway, then from my car in the parking lot at work to my office (maybe around 300 feet). Walking in the shoes I realized they really didn't fit. They were practically chewing up the backs of my heals and my big toe.
I decided I needed to return them. However, because I had "worn" them, they will not let me return them. I protested that I had only walked in them a very short distance. Here's the response I got: "Unfortunately as you have stated that your item is worn, you would not be able to return your item for an exchange or a basic return, as items are inspected for return acceptance criteria. If the review concludes that your item is worn as you have stated, it will be rejected and returned back to you." Pretty astonishing!
I think this kind of policy is very poor business practice. Shoes are one product that have to fit to be useful, and when buying over the internet it's even more difficult to ascertain that they will fit. I've never had a shoe vendor refuse a return after I wore the shoes a little and realized they were not for me. Not Shoes.com! I ordered $130 nurses' style shoes for work. I got the shoes in wet box! Shoes didn’t fit, hard, uncomfortable and far from “wide“ size. I sent the shoes back in hoping for refund. Week later I got the shoes back. Someone determined that the merchandise has been worn/used!!! I have never experienced such a insult on a customer, I couldn’t even slide my foot in the right shoe!!! How could I ever walk or stand for 10 hours! Never again!

I purchased 2 pair of shoes from this company. Apparently, as we age, our feet change size/shape, so I ordered a size that was too small. According to the website, there was a free exchange/return policy. It's free for them-I was told I would have to repurchase the different size shoes and they would refund me once they received the original order from me. Basically they are holding my money twice even though the returns are in the mail already. I decided not to exchange because they want to charge twice... so now I pay 7.00 a pair to return the shoes. This is poor business practice in my opinion and the customer service person I spoke with... actually hung up on me. Is there any reason I would keep a pair of shoes that don't fit? STUPID! So now they are holding 170.00 and I have nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! How are they still in business?

I bought 2 pairs of shoes. I used their own guidelines to choose the size I ordered. When the shoes arrived, they were over a full inch too big. When I contacted customer service to arrange for a "fast free exchange" as they advertise, I was told I would have to BUY the correct size, then return the wrong size then they would refund my money for the 1st 2 pairs.
By buying the 2nd 2 pairs I would not get the 30% discount I bought the 1st 2 pairs with plus I also used a $5 bonus that no longer was good as well. I would be out almost $200 and only get a refund of $70. When I told customer service about this, they pretty well said "You should have ordered the right size the 1st time!" Customer service is both rude and unhelpful. At one point I was put on hold in the middle of a sentence. To top it all off, they said if I don't go by their rules on an exchange they are going to charge me $6.95 per pair restock fee! I will absolutely NEVER use this company again!

So weeks later my shoes were returned to me, refusing the return or exchange. Many calls later, and on hold a lot, still no help. Still have $140 shoes they refuse to return. They won't return my calls. Horrible, horrible.

The shoes I bought fit well. Great price and arrived quickly. Helps if you pay for them right away. My son's pair was a pair of Nike's. I buy him Nike's because, he has no arch in his feet. And his feet are very narrow AAAA. Like a pair of skis. I paid $55 or $50 for his. Mine are New Balance running shoes style W840v3. I have a fallen arch in one foot. I ordered a 11 1/2 wide in Women's. I got the mint green with navy color makes a difference in price on a number of sites. Instead, of paying $160 at the New Balance store. These were $60. And my foot doctor said they were really good shoes. I am not being paid to write this review. I just don't understand all the complaints. I ordered my son's on about 12/28/2017 and I bought mine on April 20, 2018.

I used to order shoes from Shoebuy.com which is now Shoes.com. Never had a problem. Service was great. Now under Shoes.com, I bought a pair of expensive running shoes. My first problem arose when I never received a receipt/invoice for the shoes prompting me to contact customer service for a invoice so I could have verification that the shoes were indeed ordered. I sent two requests and never received the invoices. The shoes however were delivered the following day. So at least I got the shoes. The second problem arose when I decided the shoes were too large prompting me to request a return/exchange. What a royal hassle!
To do this, they have to place a new order and would not accept my original payment method (PayPal). I had to use a different credit card and of course would not be refunded until the shoes were returned. This concerns me as I would have two deductions for the same pair of shoes taken out of two of my payment methods. I was told I'd have the shipping label within an hour (ridiculous). That time has come and gone. I've contacted customer service and still no return label, so I've cancelled the new order. I'll gladly pay the restocking fee to get my refund and be rid of this poorly run on-line retailer. You cannot beat Amazon. I found the same pair of shoes for a considerably lower price on Amazon and I know returns are hassle free through them. I was stupid to give Shoes.com a try.

This is the worst company I have ever interacted with. I ordered a pair of Fitflop Gogh Pro clogs in March 2018. I received them in a timely manner, but I did not like them. I tried them on in my living room and never removed the tags or stickers on the bottom. Inside the box were instructions to return the shoes to Nordstrom so I did that. A pre-paid label was enclosed. I heard nothing back for weeks so I contacted Shoes.com. They told me I should have returned the shoes to them. I waited for Nordstrom to send them back and then proceeded to send them to Shoes.com. They received the shoes on April 11, 2018 but I heard nothing. So I called on April 21 or 22. I was told they would check the status and call me later. On April 23, I get an email from UPS that I was getting an order from Shoes.com. I called again asking what was up and was informed that they denied the return because the shoes were worn.
I was stunned and tried to explain that I never wore them except to try them on. They said they had images and their decision was final. I asked to see the images and was told that I would get them in 45 minutes. Almost two days later and after two emails, I was sent images. There is no evidence of dirt on the soles like they claimed. I have attached pictures I took to show what the soles looked like when I received them back on April 24 (with no notation in the box why I was receiving them back). The Shoes.com images made the bottoms look slightly dusty based on their resolution or something but there is no evidence of dirt or wear that I can see. I talked to two managers and the last one offered me a $25 refund which I refused. I asked to send the shoes back for a second review and was told their decision was final. I am currently contesting the charges with my credit card.
After looking at this site, it is apparent to me that Shoes.com is running a return scam. They claim to accept returns but they just deny the return by stating the unworn shoes have been worn. They apparently either do not stock the shoes themselves and are just a middleman or they sell discounted shoes that they procure from other sellers who do not want them anymore. The Nordstrom labels in my box proved that to me. This is the first time I have ever written an online complaint. I wish I had read these reviews before I ever made a business transaction with this company. Consumer Affairs should investigate what percent of the returns are ever accepted by this shady company!

When I got home I took them off to see why it was so comfortable and realize it was wide so I had these returned and to expedite my replacement which were the exact one's. Same size but regular. I purchased them and waited for my return refund. They are refusing to return except it because I wore the shoes one day.
They were in good condition but refused them and returned them to me. So I called spoke to a Walter. He wasn't able to help. Asked to let me speak to a manager. Transfer me Paul couldn't help. Asked Paul. "So you're a manager?" He pauses and says "no I'm a supervisor." Here we go. I asked for a manager not a sup. Which I'm guessing he wasn't even a sup. I’ve never sought out a website like this before to leave a review for a company, but I am so furious I felt it was necessary. I almost always order from Amazon, and should’ve known better, but I was trying to find the “best deal”. So I found a pair of UGGs on shoes.com for less expensive than what I could find on Amazon. I ordered down a size like I normally do, but apparently because they were a different style they ran more true to size and ended up being too small. Calling to exchange is out of the question because the price changes. So my only option was to return them and get a bigger size at the higher price if I still wanted them because they wouldn’t honor the lower price that I originally paid.
I tried to print the return label multiple times, only to find out when I finally called later, that you can’t print from your phone. You have to print from a computer. Shoes.com does not care that my life is completely crazy as a mom and a business owner, and that I couldn’t find my charging cord to the laptop for a while - because I do almost everything from my phone and my iPad. Then when I finally found my charging cord I was having issues getting the laptop to connect with the printer. Wouldn’t it be so awesome if I could run my business, keep my household going, and manage my two “super-active” little ones all while spending hours upon hours messing with my printer and printing a stupid return label that should’ve been printable from my phone - WITHIN 60 DAYS? One can only dream. However that wasn’t the case. My 60 days was up on April 6th (12 days ago).
Today I tried to print the label that expired 10 days after they sent it, so I called their customer service and was told I’m stuck with the shoes because it’s been 72 days. The man kept making it sound like 60 days is such a LONG time and being 12 days over was SO ridiculously past the limit. Basically trying to belittle me over the phone. Thanks, dude. This man obviously isn’t a “stay-at-home-mom” and a business owner, with a house that looks like an unfinished game of Jumanji. Well, good for him. Now I’m out 100 bucks with a pair of UGG’s that are a size too small. What the heck am I supposed to do now?
Bottom line. If you’re confident in what you’re ordering, go ahead and order from this company. However if you’re looking for a company with grace, understanding, and AMAZING customer service, go ahead and head on over to Amazon because this NEVER would’ve happened with them. Shame on me. My mistake. I knew better. You want to know the “funny” thing? I STILL ended up ordering a pair of UGG’s from Amazon once I experienced shoes.com’s customer service after that first phone call a couple months ago. I will never EVER order from this company again, and I will advise everyone I know to do the same. Customer service is EVERYTHING, and they ain’t got it.

When reading other reviews about the site I was concerned that the Chuck Taylor sneakers I received via UPS would be a crap shoot as to what I actually received. From other reviewers I was seeing errors regarding styles, sizes, and colours ordered. I've read several reviews saying people received 2 different shoe styles or even 2 shoes for the same foot! I was quite concerned and kicked myself for ordering a pair of shoes before reading reviews.
To my wonderful delight I received my order within 5 days of leaving Massachusetts and that included a weekend and a days delay due to a massive ice storm that crippled my area. Even better was the fact they were the proper shoes I wanted including the colour and size! They even fit perfectly which was quite impressive considering I have what I call duck feet. Very wide at the bridge and very narrow at the heel. Shaped just like a duck’s foot. The only spoiler to my experience was the cost of shipping, exchange and duty costs to have my order sent to Canada.

Which I did, to no avail. Called them to place my order over the phone and found out there was only one pair of the shoes in stock, so I did the order over the phone for that one pair. Decided to check my bank account and found NINE authorizations in addition to the order that was officially placed. Over $1000 gone from my account, just in time for my rent payment to come out.
Called them, was told it would be 3-5 days before the billing department would get to reversing the charges, and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, was told none were available, but they would call me when one became available. Two hours later, no call, called them back, jumped through all the hoops with the agents (even being told there are no phones in the billing department- they can ONLY be reached by email- I guess that department is on a desert island somewhere?) Asked to speak to supervisor AGAIN, again told none were available, but they would call me as soon as they were available.
Another two hours pass, I called again, jumped through the same hoops, this time the agent actually believed me when I started swearing about my feelings and I spoke to a supervisor. They reversed the charges (I haven't yet confirmed it, but for now I'll assume it's done), then told me they couldn't guarantee that my order from this morning could be cancelled (shockingly, I decided to spend my money elsewhere). Not a huge deal, we understand how busy the Christmas season is, so I call and am told the return exchange procedure requires me to pay for a replacement pair of shoes prior to sending the wrong pair back, I personally can’t afford to do that, and shouldn’t have to, this was not my mistake. Updated on 04/21/2019: I sought to exchange one size shoe for a larger one. The message from the email bot stated that an even exchange was in process. I sent the original shoes back. In a few days, I received the larger size. Great. There was no additional charge... Until a few days after I received the larger shoes. Not only was I out for the original shoe purchase, but was charged again for the same shoes in the larger size.
I called. I emailed. Both via phone and email responses reported that the original shoes had been worn. That is where they con you. As soon as you take the shoes out of the box, and try them out at home on carpeted floor, they are considered used. I have returned a mattress to a mattress store after sleeping on it to try it out for a week, no questions asked. How is slipping on a pair of shoes different? It's not. Buyer beware. You will be happy with shoes.com while you are satisfied. As soon as you have a request, return or complaint, you will be silenced and ignored.
And don't bother going on their Facebook page to bring up the matter. If you list a complaint on Facebook, they will ask you to private message them, where you will get the same non-answer -- "Too bad for your loss. Have a nice day." If you continue to raise the issue on the public face of their social media site, they will block you from posting on their site, so all a person sees when going to their Facebook site is happy, glowing, and most likely staged, customer feedback.
There is a bright side. Within a billing cycle or two, you can report the charge as fraudulent on your credit card. You'll provide the detail, your credit card company will research, and inevitably the cc company will side with you and reimburse you for your loss (the extra charge). Why? Because credit card companies understand business -- happy customers are loyal customers. I have had the same two credit cards (and only two) for the past ten years. I will never shop at Shoes.com again after my first experience with them. To recap, I had the money from the second charge reimbursed to my card, and I have two pairs of nearly identical shoes for one price. BOGO karma.
Original review: Bought a pair of (Clark's Stratton Limit) boots from Shoes.com in late January 2018. Tried them on, and decided to exchange them for a larger size. Went through the steps on shoes.com to process the exchange. All went well, and I mailed the boots back in early Feb. The larger size boots arrived a week or so later after I put my return in the mail. The new boots are fine, no complaints.
In early March, I received my original purchase back at my house with a note that they could not be restocked because "the soles were dirty." The customer service reps were not able or willing to help me when I called. My emails to customer service were dismissed, and my request to have the manager Steve get in touch with me was ignored. A quick search of the internet reveals (even as late as Feb and March 2018) this is an all too common occurrence with Shoes.com customers. This is unfortunate for I was a happy and (thought) valued customer of Shoes.com and have bought other shoes from them in the past. Never again.

They kept saying it was their distributor's issue, I told them I made the purchase thru them and so it was their responsibility to make sure I get what I paid for... I've ordered from Shoes.com for years and years, mainly when they were Shoebuy.com. NEVER again! If I ever had to make a return to Shoebuy.com I would get an email literally the next day or two that the return was received. Mind you, I am NOT in the habit of returning shoes. This pair of UGGS was a Christmas present for my 9 year old son. He tried them on in the house and did not care for them. I returned them on 1/5 and they received them on 1/12. I never heard a single word from Shoes.com. Anxiously awaiting my $80 refund, I finally contacted them at the end of January and they said the return was under review (standard procedure they said). I contacted them AGAIN a week later and was told the same thing.
I finally emailed them in mid-February and my response was that "they showed signs of wear"! Seriously? He tried them on in the house! (a clean house I might add). Maybe because I left the laces in the shoes?! But how else do you try on shoes without lacing them and wearing them briefly?! After they were back in Shoes.com possession for OVER a month and still no word on a refund, I finally asked for a chargeback from my bank. Terrible, terrible, customer service now!!! I see that they filed for bankruptcy in early 2017. The company must have changed hands. I guarantee the company will fail again if this customer service (or lack thereof!) keeps up!!

Box was sent back in original packaging, not damaged. I filed a dispute with PayPal and got my money back, however, upon reading the reviews, a ton of people seem to be having the same issue. I wish I would have known that before I ordered. I will never give this company my money again.

I bought two items totaling around $60. They took out that amount or as they put it they put a hold on it. They said both purses separately so then they took out for the one purse and now they are going to take up for the second person that they ship separately and that is going to overdraw my account. When I called customer service the guy said absolutely nothing in response. He just sat there while I got to listen to a bunch of people in the background carrying on with each other. It sounded like a frat house. He had nothing to say to me and didn’t even offer me a chance to talk to a supervisor. Horrible customer service and horrible business practice of putting people's bank accounts in jeopardy. Now the money I saved with the coupons I used is going to be deducted from my deposit on Friday because I’m going to be overdrawn with the second payment that they take out. Never buy from these crooks.

I have been using this site for a few years. Started out great but my latest experience leaves me sure that I will never recommend this site to anyone. I ordered a pair of boots before Christmas, the package tracked that it would not deliver until the 27th which was good as I would be traveling. Went out of town and they delivered on Christmas Eve and then they sat on the porch for 3 days as I was out of town.
I opened the box immediately tried them on in the house on clean, dry hardwood floors. They did not fit as well as I liked for how much money I spent. I called and returned before the end of December. I called repeatedly after they delivered and kept being told to call back. During the late part of the first week in February they told me that the shoes/boots had been worn and could not be resoled. I argued but to no avail so I asked when they would be shipped back. Repeated phone calls demanding money or shoes. Asked them to send an email when they shipped and was told that they were unable to send me this information.
The package showed up today, 2/21/18. This whole process, returned on the 28th of December, this has been going on for almost two months. The boots that I did received have been WORN and not by me. I advise that anyone looking for a high end shoe/boot of any kind... DO NOT USE SHOES.COM. They offer good deals but apparently you really do not know what they will send and in the end it is your words against theirs. I was also very disappointed because I have been a customer for three years. NEVER again! ZERO stars with good reason!

First off I would like to say Do NOT trust the expected delivery date with this company. Although the drop-down box under shipping gives you the expected delivery date, those dates are wrong. Their system generates Saturday delivery dates although, this company uses a UPS method of shipping that does not provide for Saturday delivery. So if you get an expected delivery date for a Saturday it is wrong. They will NOT refund you for the item arriving late and if you chose not to keep the item they will charge you $6.95 restocking fee. So what once was a good deal on shoes becomes a pricey mess. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT IN THE U.S. so the representatives will not understand ANYTHING you're trying to tell them and you will have no clue what they are saying. It's better to buy from a better-known company and pay the few extra bucks.

Updated on 02/14/2018: After almost 2 and half weeks of waiting for my Timberland boots to arrive, they finally showed up from Ontario California? I opened the box and from the get go everything looked ok. But, when I looked closer the boots are complete fakes. For one they smell like spray paint. Two, it looked like something was crushing the boots for a long time. Both sides of the boots were flat with no shape. The number of eyelets for a authentic pair of Timbs is 7 for men's, mine have 6. The laces are supposed to be thick and burnt on the ends. Mine have plastic or tape around them and are very thin. Most of all Timbs are not made anywhere in Vietnam from my investigation. But, mine are. Finally, the boots don't fit properly at all, one feels way narrower than the other. I guess I will chalk it up to lesson learned. I will shop elsewhere next time. Maybe order Timberlands factory direct or from a well known store. It's very disappointing.

They received the boots in two days, I was then told they would not refund my payment until I closed my claims. This would be really stupid. As it stands now, eBay has said they will refund my payment if this company doesn't. I don't know why eBay allows this company on their site. Also beware, this company uses many other names.
Updated on 02/19/2018: They sent the wrong boots and I sent them back the same day they arrived. I had to get a free shipping label from eBay because this company said I had to pay shipping for their mistake. EBay advised me they would refund my payment. After promising payment four different times, eBay said they couldn't refund it because PayPal wouldn't accept it. Contacted PayPal and was told this was not true. I advised eBay of their lie and they then said they would refund my payment.
A few days later they said they would not refund the payment because my credit card company was involved. These lies made no sense. I finally got my credit card company to stop payment. This company is obviously smaller than it appears online. The customer service is terrible. I attempted to place my order for some shoes. The money was taken or as they say in ”processing” from my account even when the website said there was a billing problem and order could not be completed. Then why would you take the money out of my account? They claim it's a preauthorization and it will take 5 days to drop. Oh how inconvenient for me. Now I’m out $140 for 5 days with no order and no money to buy the shoes somewhere else at lesser. I spoke to the supervisor named Jordona and she had a condescending tone and attitude and was of no help and refuse to accommodate me in any way.
My husband ordered the shoes for me the same day from another card on Saturday. It is now Tuesday. No confirmation email was given. No tracking number. Nothing! We called them and basically there’s nothing they can do. Wouldnt even expedite my shipping for all the miscommunication. The system they use to communicate is non existent. They can’t even put notes on an order after speaking to the customer so that the next rep can know what’s going on with a customer. Taking 3-5 days to pack a shoe that is already in stock.
After ordering you don’t get a confirmation email. But the money is processing from your account. No accommodations made for mistakes made on their part. Yet I’m getting 50 emails for promotions from the website. I will NEVER shop here again! Don't take the risk. I shipped the wrong shoes back and still have not received my refund (almost 2 weeks later). In the meantime, I placed a second order for the same pair of shoes and paid again. Today, I received my second order--wrong brand (Earth not Kalso), wrong size (size 5 not size 10), wrong color (black not white). I have to ship them back and hope I get the refund on both my first order and my second order.

We had originally planned to order my husband's shoes for work from Amazon. His are falling apart (literally there is a hole in the sole, and we are in the middle of the most bitterly cold weeks of winter thus far), and the shoes are available for Prime shipping. Except, the shipping was listed for nearly eight days! Honestly, what do I pay the Prime subscription for?
So, since we were going to have to wait standard shipping times for the shoes anyway, he decided to order them from Shoes.com and save ten dollars. But when he placed the order his spiff card was "declined." A card that we frequently use on other websites with no problem whatsoever, and which had over eighty dollars on it to buy a fifty dollar pair of shoes.
By this point, he was just agitated and went to a different website (I think he said it was the official Dockers website, at this point). When he tried to run the card this time, he was given an "insufficient funds" message. He knows there's money on it, but just to make sure he checks the balance... And finds a charge from Shoes.com. Funny, considering they'd "declined" it in the first place.
Two days later, and the charge is still there. So, I call shoes.com customer service, and while the agent I spoke to was very courteous, I'm still very dissatisfied with what happened. "It looks like there was an error processing the order," he told me. "The fifty dollars is a hold on your account until the order goes through." So in other words, the hold is there until the order charge takes its place. For which, you probably need DOUBLE the amount in the account. Nice. Real nice... So when the order didn't go through, that hold never got the signal to get OUT of there. So the agent tells me he's going to notify the billing department to remove the hold. "Can't I just...you know, BUY the shoes?" Get this: He can't push the order through at all. NOPE! Not in ANY WAY! Well, fine. That's fine. I'll just sit here with my thumb up my butt until the money comes back, and then we'll just order them from Amazon like we should have done in the first place.

A week later I had not received the order and there was no indication that the item had ever been handed over to a shipper. I emailed customer service on December 21 and received no response. I ultimately called customer service, got a representative with a heavy foreign accent and never received a satisfactory explanation as to what happened with my order.
I had to cancel because customer service had no idea about the shipment or if I would ever get it, despite that a shipping label was created, presumably to allow them to charge my credit card and receive payment. No. Cancel the order then. NO. She told me I can't cancel the order because it had already been shipped. "But you just said, it wasn't even processed by the warehouse yet". Rote answer of 14 days to post office box. I said, "Transfer me to the accounts receivable dept". "Oh they already left". It was 4 pm. "Okay, then the warehouse". "Oh they're gone for the day". Seriously??? Thank goodness I paid with PayPal. I'm letting them take this one.

Re-activated an old account. Received a flyer with a promotional code for a 30% discount in the mail. Flyer advertised certain brands. Carefully shopped, selected 2 pairs of boots, entered promotional code which was supposed to be applied at checkout. Checked out, code was not applied. Would never have considered purchasing these boots without a discount.
Contacted customer service, was told, "Sorry, code doesn’t apply to this brand," but they are unable to advise what brands it does work for; I needed to put the shoes in my cart and check out to see if I won the discount lottery. Seriously? I have neither the time nor inclination to carefully shop for shoes and pay full price, not knowing whether the promotional code is applicable. Customer service was able to cancel one pair of boots but not the other.
A few days later I received an email stating boots had been shipped and the tracking number. After patiently waiting and no package, I tracked the package and found that it had been returned to sender. I was not notified. Contacted customer service again and demanded to know why they did not have the courtesy to inform me that they’d yanked my very expensive boots and also demanded to know why my money had not been refunded. I did not receive an answer to either question but was informed that my refund would be processed in 2-10 days.
After well over 10 days my refund has yet to be processed. Shoes.com has had a lot of my money for over a month for nothing. This is a loan sitting on my credit card for no reason whatsoever. Bear in mind that neither pair of boots was ever sent to my home. Contacted customer service again and have yet to receive a response. Will never pretend to do business with this firm again.

I placed an order and waited ELEVEN days for it. I was of course charged immediately. UPS delivered somewhere... But not to me. Shoes.com is making me wait another three weeks (THREE WEEKS!!) for an investigation. And then what? Wait for them to fool around and send me a second order? So the order I placed could end up taking close to two months – if I get it at all. I could go hunting, shoot the cow, tan the hide, dye the leather, and make my own boots in that amount of time. I am sitting here empty-handed – minus what I paid this no-good business.
They made NO attempt to solve this issue - but expect me to sit here for – MONTHS on end – while they sort it out with UPS. Their response to me was pretty much "tough luck." I will NEVER place another order with Shoes.com (and Shoebuy.com). Shoes.com is a waste of time and money. They do not care about customer service. If something goes wrong with an order, you're on your own and you are out whatever you paid them in the meantime.

Yet the return department put a picture of minor white sock fuzz left from my wool socks. This is so microscopic that I believe, because of the holidays and possible large number of returns, the business try to outsmart its customers with unreasonable reasons. I ordered a few pairs of boots to try out as I have plantar fasciitis and need to get good shoes. Most pairs cost at least $150 so it isn't an easy purchase. I ordered two pairs from Shoes.com, two different styles. I liked one style better, kept that, but noticed it looked a little scuffed and the box was not the original. I decided to suck it up and keep them because I had a hard time finding them on Teva's and Zappos' websites. Zappos is usually my go to. The other pair I didn't like after wearing them around the house for a bit. I didn't notice anything on them that stuck out.
I sent them back and probably 3 weeks later received them back again with the note that they were dirty, had scuff marks, and in the wrong box. I found it funny that they wanted the original when they sent me a different box for my other pair. I also noticed tons of scuff marks on the heels. I don't know how they got there. Either they were originally sent that way and I didn't notice, or they sent me another pair. I'm in the middle of arguing with them via email to have a label and refund. But of course they will probably charge me $7 and $7 for a restocking fee. I may end up keeping them and try to sell independently.

Received an email from company that order had shipped and was delivered. Followed prompts for tracking which took me to UPS website, and showed order delivered in Hermitage PA. I live about 8 hours from that town with a car ride. Nothing delivered to my address.
I then called Shoes.com, encountered a rep who was horrible, she confirmed my address was on order, which I knew from my emails was correct. She proceeds to tell me that I placed the order, and for that reason I have to contact UPS myself, or get this, she tells me I can go to Hermitage PA which is 8 hours away by car and pick up my boots. I lost my cool. Could not believe the things she was telling me. The customer service level was below poor rating. I bought a pair of shoes from Shoes.com. When they arrive they looked good. I tried them on, they fit well. There seemed to be no problem. After wearing the shoes 4 times one shoe changed color and looked obviously lighter than the other shoe. The shoes had not been worn in the rain and nor had there been anything sprayed on them or anything like that. I sent the shoes back to shoes.com and ordered a replacement pair of shoes. The replacement pair came in the mail. They did not change color. Everything seemed great. Then a week later the shoes that changed color, that I originally sent back to exchange, came back to me in the mail saying they would not reimburse me for them as the shoes had obvious wear.
I have called three times and have continued to get the runaround from shoes.com. They have not been willing to reimburse me the money for the shoes that changed color. After calling them three times and complaining about the order they offered to refund my card $10 and give me a 20% off coupon. I'm never shopping there again, so their coupon is pointless. If you have problems with your shoes DO NOT order a replacement pair. Wait to see what they are going to do with your return or exchange before ordering anything to replace the pair. I had to prepare for an out of country business trip that I was taking October 20, 2017, on October 15, 2017, I purchased a pair of Men's Steve Madden Jabber boots from Shoes.com. I paid for two day shipping, hoping they would get to me before the week ended; surprisingly on October 16, 2017, I received an email saying the shoes had shipped. Upon looking at the tracking information, I noticed that the shipping option that was selected was Ground and not Two-day. I then contacted Shoes.com via email and phone, and asked them why (although I paid for two day shipping) my package was being shipped ground. Their response was:
"Expected delivery time for orders is 3-10 business days. It's typically 1-5 business days for processing your order and 1-5 business days for UPS Ground Delivery. When you pay for expedited shipping, it does not speed up the processing time for the order. The order has to be processed which still remains 1-5 business days. After processing, UPS would deliver the order within 2 business days instead of 5 business days since the shipping was upgraded. The order was placed on 15th October, 2017 after processing the item shipped on 15th October, 2017 UPS only delivers for Shoes.com on business days. Two business days from the date of shipment is Monday, 09/23/2017. The order was shipped correctly so we are unable to refund the expedited shipping fee."...
Apparently, neither one of these representatives had any idea how their business operated, so I attempted to explain it to them by saying: "If I place an order on 10/15, and you ship the order 10/16, that means the item was processed in 1 day. When you had the box to UPS on the 16th, I should receive my package by the 18th, 19th at the latest because I paid for two day shipping." They had the hardest time understanding that, and kept referring to their processing times being the reason that my package wouldn't be delivered until 10/23. I asked them what I needed to do to return the item upon arrival and they said they'd send a shipping label (I used my own instead to prevent the package being "lost") via email and that I would receive a refund once the item was returned.
On October 15, 2017, I paid $117.95 for the item; $107.95 for the shoes w/ tax and $10.00 for two day shipping. They received/processed the return and sent me a refund of $101.00; $107.95 for the shoes w/ tax minus a $6.95 restocking fee. That makes sense. I decided to go against the reviews when I placed my order thinking "maybe my experience will be different." Don't follow in my footsteps; I would avoid Shoes.com at all cost. I ended up ordering from Amazon.com. (I have a Prime membership) and found the shoes for the same price and free two day shipping and received them in time for my trip. They then finally admitted, after I shared the receipt, that my shoes were shipped to someone else. I shipped them via UPS and waited until I could confirm they had been delivered. I called again due to no refund showing up in my PayPal. The agent denied they had received them. Once I shared the tracking info and by whom they had been received at Shoes.com they acknowledged they had received them and asked that I wait 3-5 days for the refund to process. After 5 days, no refund (and by the way, no shoes) so I called back a 3rd time.
The agent once again denied they had ever received the shoes back. So once again, I explained they had been received, who had received them and that this was the 3rd conversation. Miraculously, she acknowledged they had been received and, wait for it, the refund would now take up to 5 days to process. Clearly, she was reading from the same script. So here we sit, a month into an order with shoes.com and still no shoes and out the cost of those shoes. Never have I ever experienced such poor customer service. I'd like to preface this review by saying I do about 75% of my shopping and purchasing online and have done so for at least the past five years, so I am an experienced virtual shopper. This particular buying experience was awkward infuriating from the very beginning. To start, the Shoes.com site touted a "site-wide sale" that lured me in. Unfortunately, the sale immediately excluded all but one of the items I wanted to purchase. I ordered that pair of shoes in two different sizes since I tend to run between sizes and would rather try them both on and send the one that doesn't fit back to the store. What should have been a twenty second checkout process took several minutes. The cart sent me through Paypal twice before there was anywhere I could review and submit the order. I did not click any buttons or try to interrupt the process--it made me log back into Paypal after it accepted my shipping address to make me confirm the billing address.
During this process, the shopping cart dropped the last digit off the nine-digit zip code, so I had to manually correct both addresses on the order review screen. I quickly checked my Paypal account to try to figure out why the zip code was wrong and my Paypal account showed the correct zip code. The correction wasn't persistent, apparently, because the zip code showing on the confirmation screen after I submitted the order still lacked the last digit.
I received the order confirmation via email almost immediately but there was never any follow up of a shipping notification. I checked my spam folder several days in a row and there was nothing there--the shipping notice would have come to the same email address as the order confirmation I had received. The order arrived in a timely manner (5 business days after it was placed) and everything was in fine shape.
When I tried on the shoes, neither pair fit so I immediately got online to create a return so that I didn't miss a return deadline. I've been the victim of fine-print sneaky return policies before and didn't want to end up keeping two pairs of shoes I didn't want. I discovered that I had 60 days from the order date to return items, but here was another fine-print sneaky return policy: each returned item incurs a $6.95 "restocking fee." They claim free shipping and exchanges in big letters all over the site, but until I hunted pretty hard for their actual return policy, I didn't know that returns are anything but free. I contacted customer service via chat to verify whether the fee was per item or per order and got disconnected by the first representative, so I had to log back on and ask someone else who affirmed that each returned item results in a seven dollar charge against the refund amount. Buyer beware.
This is where it got really frustrating. I found out you cannot return an entire order at once. There is nowhere you can simply select checkboxes and say "return." You have to process a single return or exchange for each item, which you can only do after you've gone through at least three different screens to get to the items you want to return or exchange. If you select "exchange" it takes you to the site to shop for a new item, which makes perfect sense, but nowhere in the cart does it indicate that you have any kind of credit against any new item that you add.
Once again, there was a sale going on that didn't apply to anything I wanted, so I never made it far enough in the cart process to find out at what point the exchange credit actually shows up. According to their exchange policy, they don't actually issue a credit at the time of exchange--they make you pay for the new item and then issue a refund once they receive the returned item. I decided to choke down the $14 return fee for both pairs of shoes rather than going through their convoluted exchange process, so I went back through the return system again to cancel the exchange requests and generate a return for each pair.
After going through the entire return request process twice (once for each pair of shoes), I got an error message saying neither shipping label could be generated and that I would have to call customer service. I got back on chat to ask if they could just email me a shipping label. The representative told me that the shipping labels did not automatically generate because their system showed the zip code was incorrect.
I explained that the zip code in my Paypal account shows correctly and that it probably had something to do with their shopping cart. The representative said they would have to get a supervisor to send me shipping labels and then responded, "I would say still check the Paypal. Our system wouldn't just pull up half the zip code, this is the first I've ever heard of that and I've been here for quite some time." I had already checked Paypal, as I told the representative when I logged onto chat with her, and I wasn't particularly happy with her condescending tone. Apparently the customer is never right at Shoes.com, even when she has informed customer service she already checked and that the problem is not on her end.
I am anticipating a delay or some kind of issue with refunds just based on how this entire purchasing experience has gone so far. I was told during the customer service chat that I would receive a shipping label within 24 hours, which I doubt will happen, but I intend to ship the order back to them as soon as that label shows up. The website indicates 2-10 business days for credit card refunds and I have a fallback with Paypal where I can dispute the purchase if Shoes.com doesn't issue a timely refund.
I will never shop this website again and will recommend that friends and family spend their money elsewhere, as well. I can forgive a customer service rep for being less than diplomatic on one occasion, but when "big sale" goes to "well, not that item, or that one, or that one" not once, but twice, and when the order and return processes are unwieldy and rage-inducing every single time, and when it costs a surprise $7 per item to return anything, I'm done. Never again.

They used to have really good customer service skills before, now is a new company and the customer service skills went down to zero. I ordered shoes 2 weeks ago and they haven't send an email saying they are out of stock or tracking number. I just called and they don't even know when they are sending the shoes. I spoke to the manager and the manager same rude attitude as the representative that first took the call.

I ordered the shoes for my son, it did not fit well, so had to return it. I exchanged it for another pair of shoes and send the original pair in the same box. They just rejected the return saying: "Original shoe box used as a shipping box, box damaged unable to resell". No store has ever given me this kind excuse to not take the return. Don't take the return because of label on the shoes box, Ridiculous. Btw, the shoes box is perfectly fine, when I took out the label, there was not a single scratch on the box, I am attaching the photos. Customer service refused to do anything about it. Just said they will return it if I send the shoes again after taking out the shipping label.
I checked out this site after hearing in the news that Walmart bought them, so expecting that service will be good like you get from reputable company store like Amazon or Costco or Zappos, it turned out to be third rated experience from mom and pop store kind of store run by thugs. These guys charged me full for the exchange, so I ended up buying two pairs from the bad company.

Terrible business practices... Firstly, no order # on packing list, in fact "customer order#" is listed as my city and zip code... Secondly, $6.95 restocking fee PER item returned, even if only one mailing label required for the shipment... Lots of choices these days for on-line shopping... Will not shop here again.

I am an 18-year-old male who's been 6'5 since I was 12. The years have not been kind to my feet. I was told that I was flat footed at 14, and that from that point forward I would have to go to an orthopedist if I needed shoes. My insurance ran out, and I needed a new pair desperately. I jumped on the idea of shoes being affordable, and bought the cheapest ones that could fit. (I currently wear a size 17, extra wide.) I immediately regretted my impulse purchase upon reading the reviews. Naturally I worried that my shoes would arrive and be the wrong size or poorly made. This was not the case. Do not refrain from buying from this website. I ordered my shoes on a Saturday, and they came on Wednesday. I am very pleased with this company.

Unlike Zappos which sends return labels with shoes with free return labels, this place is ridiculous. The shoes didn't fit at all so I called them. They promised to send me a return label in the mail. 2 weeks goes by. No label. I call again. It will "take 7 days to send label." REALLY? WHY 7 Days? To maybe hang onto my money longer? ALSO, there will be a $6.95 "restocking fee." DUMB. For shoes??? Shoes are very tricky to buy online. Probably half won't fit properly. How do they plan to compete with Zappos which sends the return label with the shoes and doesn't charge a restocking fee. I hope these duds go out of business. They deserve to. Stick with Zappos. AVOID this company like the plague. Now I just have to see if the label arrives...

I ordered a pair of shoes from Shoes.com on June 13th, 2017. They arrived on June 19th, 2017. The shoes were too narrow for me (They were a size wide, but apparently I need a wider size for this type of shoe). At any rate, I decided to return the shoes... But time slipped away. When I went online (June 15th) to get the return label printed the web-site wouldn't let me do it. So I wrote customer service. I knew their return policy was 60 days... And it was June 15th - before the 60 days... But it turns out it is 60 days from the order - not from receiving the shoes. This seems pretty unfair to me and I certainly won't be ordering from them again. Customer service would not make an exception.

I ordered matching evening bag and shoes for an event. The shoes were shipped on time and I received them within a week. However the bag was shipped 10 days after my order and I still did not receive it. It was too late. I have inquired about it several times by email and each time the customer service wrote back that I will receive an email when it ships. By the time it was shipped I had purchased a different bag and matching shoes from elsewhere. So not only Shoes.com items were useless as the bag was shipped ridiculously late but returning things costs the customer $6.95 per item. Overall dealing with this company was a total pain.

I ordered 6 pairs of shoes. Returned 5. Received credit for only 4. Interestingly enough, the pair that cost the most (114.95) was the pair I didn't receive a credit for. After 3 phone calls James decided I would be reimbursed $65 for that pair. Solution for me: Never order from this company again.
