My overall experience using overstock.com was great. I like that they have always or mostly what I'm looking for, have great competitive prices and great deals. The search was easy and I could find what I'm a looking for and had a good deal on the item I purchase. Also fast delivery and good shipping price. However, some items are little pricey. I can go on other websites and find it cheaper but other than that I like it. Still have good prices.

Their website is easy to use. The product selection is awesome. It tells me all I need to know to make an informed decision. I love their wide & varied selection on so many household items. Their products are guaranteed durable. The ordering process is easy to understand & complete. Shipping is always fast & items arrive well packed. Their customer service is outstanding and they offer a fast response to any inquiries. Best shopping website. If they were a brick & mortar store, I would live in the store. As it is, I can spend hours exploring the website finding new things all the time.

I like the variety, and the quality of the products. The style was my taste all the way and the website was easy to navigate and very easy for me to purchase my products. It was and convenient for me to use and received my products quickly. The products I bought arrived undamaged and they were beautiful. The whole process was perfect for me and fast. I did not have to leave the convenience of my home and I loved that fact they have very trendy and up to date products that everyone will love that make your home awesome to live in. I love Overstock prices and you can find good deals on lots of different items. The purchase and shipping process were amazing. I love how easy their website is to navigate. They have a huge selection of goods to choose from. The product selection is one of a kind. I like that Overstock.com have a variety of everything and for real good prices. They always have a good description and detail about their items so it made comparing specifications of products real easy. They are running their business the way more people should. Plus, the site is very easy to navigate and it’s not covered in ads so there’s no confusion. I bought computer hardware and it was easy. I searched what I was looking for, added to cart and entered my details for payment and shipping and never had an issue with packaging.

I love Overstock because you get items at competitive prices. There are a lot of items in clearance and on sale. There are tons of great finds. Lots of options to choose from. Using Overstock was nice, simple and like every other website. I recommend it because of the ease of use. Since items are overstocked then they can make the prices even more competitive and knock them down. Also, add different designs. It is kind of difficult to see what items will look good and fit in your home since it isn't near a store.

I like the different kinds of items Overstock sells on there since this is a website where if you are willing to put the time in, you can find a really amazing deal. It's a amazing website even though it can be a pain to find what I want though it's worth it in the end due to the sale that I can find with enough time. But I wished it would be easier to find the kind of items I want to buy from there since this website can be a bit difficult to navigate through at first.

I buy lots of stuff on Overstock.com. I love this site & quality of what they have (from my experience) beats other sites I've shopped from so I go here first. They have lots of inventory, but I always check other online retailers. They aren't always the cheapest option. And the return fee to send a product back is a bit on the expensive side. I have only had one problem with an item not being a true color. Easily was returned and credited. In the online world of shopping, customer service can make or break a company. A huge round of applause to Overstock.com for having a good team working for them.

I like to order a lot of my electronics from Overstock.com because I like to keep up with the latest technology and have it delivered because I rarely have time to shop. Also, I mostly order furniture because I like to change things up every so often and they make it easy for me to do this with online ordering and fast shipping to my house. Plus, they have good prices and service and they are always nice when I call.

I like the site. It offers great value for getting nice merchandise, the selection is pretty good too. The website has a wonderful layout, easy to choose, browse, do your shopping, easy to navigate. Have been using it for years, great outlet, store online. But there is room for improvement like lower the prices, do a better job with the shipping, have a more variety of merchandise, and have more things to sell in all the categories they carry. Their customer service is very good and professional though. Overall, a very good site.

No problems browsing, choosing the item I wanted and paying for it. They have hundreds and hundreds of low-cost item and I never get tired browsing the site often. Their website is easy to use and they seem to have a large variety of items to choose from, especially electronic device. But maybe Overstock can make the site more mobile friendly. It's hard to use when you're on a smartphone.

Overstock.com have discounted merchandise, fairly large variety, and an easy to navigate site. There are always new items arriving and it's great to see newer fresh items not rejects. But I don't get as good of a deal as is implied when you hear the name Overstock. That means extras or surplus from bigger stores that clearance it. I wish there were more coupons. I prefer free shipping at any spend level. It's counter productive to find a great deal and spend the amount you saved shipping it. Overall, it's pleasant. Easy browsing, shopping, streamlined checkout. I haven't had any issues that would deter from wanting to visit the site even if it were just to browse.

They don't care. No matter if it is your fault or theirs, they DO NOT care ONE BIT. In my case UPS picked up the wrong package from my porch and sent it to the as return. These were a pair of chairs worth $600. (My return item was worth less than $150). The idiots processed my return and refunded $150 for something that was not theirs to begin with. How dumb! I gave them heads up, before the package got to their warehouse. They said they know what they received is not theirs and will be returned back to you. BUT NOTHING! Then I went through a series of bad individuals who kept making excuses, unapologetic and rude. Today, almost 10 days later I neither have my chairs nor my money. They took what mine and kept it! without a word. I'm appalled by them and their service. Please don't throw your money by giving them business. I cant insist enough. Not worth it!

I like Overstock.com's large selection and the discounted prices. I have purchased refurbished items from them at a fraction of the cost. They also have great customer service and I've never had any issue with them. Sometimes their inventory is limited in certain areas. I was looking for bunk beds and I didn't see a wide variety and they were not any cheaper than other retailers. But I love their rug selection and I also frequently check for refurbished electronics, as I've found excellent deals before, which is my favorite part of Overstock. It's super easy to check out, shipping is free and it arrives on time. I've never had an issue. They are very professional and easy to work with.

I really like the selection of products at Overstock.com. Their selection of stuff is really good and sometimes it's fun to see what new items are in stock. It's a site where I can find pretty much anything I want. I found the product that I was looking for fast and easy and then added it to my cart. After that, it was a very easy process. I paid for it and waited to get it. But I would like their homepage less cluttered than it is now, and instead of having to scroll down to see everything on the page you can do sections on the side where I can click instead of everything at the top.

I can find savings on things that normally would not be on sale or markdown at other retailers and my purchases have always shipped quickly and arrived on time. But I would like to hear back from customer service in a more timely matter or possibly hear back from them or the retailers on their sites at all when I may have a problem or concern with my purchases. When product arrived it was flawed slightly and I never heard from overstock or the company that made the product.

Reliable and trustworthy - I can find the best deals on Overstock without having to go through other sites. This place has a variety of listings on other safe websites to buy stuff. Using overstock was like using Slickdeals, it's the same thing and there's nothing hard about it, This website can save people a lot of money which makes me want to continuously use this site. However if they do scam me with a fake site, I wouldn't recommend it.

I've had good experiences with Overstock.com. I've ordered at least 4 times in the past 6 months. I like the fast and free shipping, the reasonable pricing and decent selection. The only thing I'd really change is their coupon policy. It seems as though almost everything is excluded from coupons.

I like that Overstock.com has price breaks sometimes that only are available for a few hours. I also love that they offer the widest variety of household furnishings on the internet at prices that can't be beat. They also have one of kind items sometimes as well. Free shipping and expedited shipping are a plus too. They usually have some pretty good Cyber Monday sales as well as some pretty good Black Friday sales sometimes. But I dislike that they are very limited in their stock on certain things sometimes. I dislike that you sometimes have to order seventy five dollars worth of merchandise to get free shipping. Sometimes their website is a bit cluttered and slow from too much traffic and it won't allow you to add things to your cart and save it. But my overall experience was a positive one. The customer service has been positive the only time that I had used it.

Their website was easy to use and I really enjoyed their website. They exceeded my expectations. Their product selection was amazing. I liked how they had a lot of brand names for cheaper than other websites/retail stores. The purchasing process was so easy and fast, a monkey could do it. They shipped quickly and the products was just as good if you would've paid full priced. Also, if I had any questions over a product, their customer service was there. They were extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

It was hit or miss using Overstock.com. Some of the items were perfect, others were not. I shopped for gold hooped earrings. They were 14k eternal and were super soft it broke soon after wearing them. I also bought Skechers shoes with super soft insoles for walking. I bought two different pairs of those. One was black white and gray and the other pair was white. Received the wrong size but I didn't return them because I didn't want the hassle. I also bought some chef knives and a blender. I just opened the blender today and easy to put together. I will shop again soon but not if they mess up my order again. Maybe easier returns so people like me will shop more.

I love and was pleased with everything about Overstock. Everything was excellent. The sellers are nice. Customer service and the products were great. Name brand items for discount prices works great for my family who lives on a fixed income which makes it great to keep up with fashion for cheap prices. Also, great prices on name brand items make it very affordable for my family to purchase bigger ticket items as well.

It's easy to find certain items for decent prices overall. They have lower prices than some other stores on the internet but not all. They could do better prices. Amazon and ebay are more competitive in pricing. Nevertheless, Overstock.com has a simple and quick checkout process that leaves you feeling good. No need to deal with customer service! The product selection is okay, too. All in all it was good.

I used to like looking for deals on Overstock and their unique availability. I enjoyed searching for things that were offered at a better than average price. I also found that the product they offered were not always product I could easily find in local stores, maybe because they were older or discontinued. I also think their business model is good. But when I shopped on Overstock, their customer service could have been better. It's always good to know that you can contact someone and that you have confidence that issues would be resolved. It adds a lot to the shopping experience... It was good overall but I stopped shopping there when I purchased a few things that I had problems with and I couldn't get anyone to help me. That was a long time ago and I'm not sure if they made improvements to their customer service since then.

I can get coupons very easily and then go on Overstock.com and find some easy items or house everyday items and have it shipped to me for a great price which really helps with the budget. Main prices are usually right in line with other places like Amazon. But there is one thing I would change big time and that is the amount of product they sell. The main issue is they call themselves Overstock and yet at times they do not have an item anymore and then their selection is really quite limited. I am quite surprised by this and I really hope this is something that will change later for the company. Other than that, the site is very easy to navigate, the checkout system is very well done and easy to use.

Overstock has a wide variety of products in various sections. Their products are of really good quality and are made to last. Their shipping and handling rates were reasonably priced, and they took the time to package and send each item very carefully, ensuring there was no damage, and I received my package in the allotted time. Even though the quality was great, I felt like it was a little too expensive for the size of some of the products, as well as the item costing more by itself than the shipping and handling of all the products I ordered combined. Other than that, I had a very positive experience purchasing through Overstock.com.

The website is well put together and simple to use and check out was easy as can be. I mostly used the search bar to find what I was looking for. I am able to find different types of items on one page. I like that I can buy everything from household goods to clothing and toys. Overstock.com's prices for the Electronics are really cheap! They have name brand items for great prices and a lot of things I can't find on other websites. If they could lower the shipping cost it would be better! Also, some of the furniture is priced sort of high. I'd prefer just doing pick up for shipping because sometimes they live close out in the same city at least. Other than that, I had a great experience. Everything was easy to navigate and I loved it! I like Overstock.com because it has such a crazy barrage of items that they sell and for prices that really are low and saves you money. Overstock continues to be one of my go-to sites for buying items simply because of high quality items mixed in with excellent pricing. It's usually not hard for me to find a gripe about certain things, but with Overstock it's one of those brands/platforms where I have honestly never had an issue/dislike/qualm about it. They excel with the transparency/customer service angle. Great experience! The site is the definition of easy to use, streamlined interface, transparent, and really just balanced to say the least. Anytime I use Overstock the shipping is always on time (or in some cases even earlier than expected which is even better).

Overstock is a great web company that has a variety of products for sale. You never know what you might find when you go to their website. They have great products at a great price. On the other hand, they claim to have the lowest prices and this is often not true. There have been several times I have found an item cheaper on another site. Sometimes Overstock's prices were much higher than other companies. Yet I always have a great and straightforward shopping experience with Overstock.com. If I ever have a problem their customer service has always been very helpful. I have used Overstock a lot and it is hard to beat them. I am always satisfied and I would recommend them to others.

I like that Overstock has current name brand and designer items at reasonable prices. Additionally, Overstock has a variety of items in a variety of different categories. It is a "one stop shop". If I had to change one thing about Overstock, I would like for them to offer free shipping. But other than that, my overall experience with Overstock was positive. I like that Overstock.com has a large selection and they deliver to your home. I consider them similar in some ways to Amazon but a smaller operation. The process to move through their pages and makes a purchases are made easy. Their customer service also resolved a issue I had promptly. Customer service has been helpful when I received a damage item on one occasion. But their prices on some items are a little high and should be lowered. There was a few times I nearly bought a item from them but discovered another business was selling them same item for less.

Overstock.com was not the easiest site to navigate. I prefer Amazon. When I received my item, it was not what I had purchased. The return process was a pain and on the second shipment I still received the wrong item. It took weeks to refund my cash.

I love that overstock.com has such a wide variety of items in all sorts of different categories. I purchased some home decor items during a big sale so I save a bunch of money and my items were delivered in a timely manner. I have only had great experiences when purchasing from overstock.com though I wish they would add an option like QVC and allow larger priced items to be split up into multiple payments.

My experience with Overstock was very positive. It was easy to pick the one that was cheapest such as baby jackets. There was several jackets on there that I liked and the filtering of products made it easier to pick one quickly. I like the wide variety selection of baby clothing and dvd's. I also like that they are available to ship all over because I live in Alaska and some companies won't ship to Alaska at all whatsoever. But, I would change having a community where people who shop on there can give reviews on the stuff they buy from overstock.com. Also maybe a layaway program for the holidays.

I like the design of Overstock.com's website and the variety of products and services that they provide. There is everything from clothing to automobiles. There were also more unique items than other sites. But I feel that their prices are not as competitive as other websites like Amazon. I do not believe that they have the quality products to charge more than other retailers. I found that their product selection was lacking and the delivery speed was not priced as competitively as I would have liked.

My experience with Overstock was very good. I liked the large selection and the website was simple, easy to use and professional. The prices were also good. They meet all my needs and I got what I ordered quick and got what I was expecting. I've used them a few times and never had any problems yet. It is hard to know where to begin! Dumbfounded! Overstock sold me crystal cabinet knobs, however, they were defective; they could not be screwed into the cabinets - the holes in the knobs were not adequately drilled. So, I contacted them, alerted them to the problem and they sent me a return label. THEN when they received the defective stuff back, I got a return email notification that of the $32.02 total cost they took back a discount of -$3.84 and charged shipping return - $11.26!!! And are refunding me $16.92! And that is for stuff that was defective. And these knobs weighed next to nothing. Needless to say I will never order from them again, and I would recommend that anyone else making an online purchase when they call themselves Overstock there is probably a reason these items are Overstocked, because they are marketing defective stuff. Don't waste your time and money $.

Many people with different tastes can shop here and get a bargain on whatever they need to get. You get a lot of options as well as a range of prices, colors as well as styles. It was nice and easy to find what I needed at a fair price and it was simple to order through their website. The shipping was not a crazy rate and I thought overall purchase was fair. However, Overstock could have a different online layout more appealing to the customers eye because so much product could sometimes be overwhelming to the customer.

I like the information that is provided on Overstock.com and blogs that are connected through Pinterest. It gives me many good ideas. The search features and options work great. Also, I like the great prices on a huge amount of products, being part of Club O and getting free shipping on each order. I also earn cash back that can be used on future orders. Though they can add even more brand name products, I have found and bought many great products on Overstock and never had a problem with the checkout. I was a little worried that the products may be defective and that's why they were being sold at such low prices but everything that I have received has been great quality. I would recommend anyone that thinks they will buy from them more than twice a year should join Club O.

Shopping on Overstock has always been great. Shopping is always easy. The shipping is fast, the price is great and they always have a great selection of different household items. My experiences while using Overstock have been great for the most part. I have usually been able to find what I need and have never had an issue with processing or shipping even though I have never had a reason to use the customer service and assume that I would be okay with their results. I have purchased items to include furniture, rugs, small appliances, and jewelry. I like the fact that Overstock has had what I need at prices that were as good as or better than I could find in stores or online. On the other hand, at times I do have a hard time navigating thru the site, i.e.: I will type something in and eventually find it in a different area.

From menu to menu and page to page the overall user friendliness is attractive to work with when seeking an online shop. Overstock.com has all that. They provide a fun and enjoyable service overall with no need for customer service as everything is automated. But I personally would like to see more inventory and more pop culture items listed. Anime and comics for example would be nice. A Paypal option would be nice too.

I love the product selection. They got ton of thing that retail store just doesn't have and good prices. Some of the prices beat amazon by a huge margin. I love the free shipping. The free shipping on almost all order is just value and they got good service whenever you need support. The website are fast to load with no interruption, and I can easily buy stuff on the apps with no problems. The return policy are also easy.

Overstock's prices and product selection were great. The website was easy to navigate. Pictures were nice and clear. The description was spot on with the item. I like the reputation of the company. On the other hand, sometimes the shipping fee can be high. Some items are not available in the color or size you need. And sometimes they could take a while to receive. I would give shipping for free or discounted over a certain price I would have more coupons available.

Overstock.com is an easy way to get items very cheap - easy to join, easy to login, and easy to use. Customer service was great. Many different products and easy to pay for products. However, shipping could be a little better. They also need to make the pictures of the items bigger and easier to see. The searching for items could be grouped together a little better. They can also improve on shipping charges for smaller items and finding items that I previously purchased that are for sale again. Nevertheless, I have had all around great experience with this website. I plan to use it more in the future. I hope it stays open.

Overstock has a wide variety of items and has a lot of really cute things. They have pretty quick shipping and I have always received my items rather quickly except on a few occasions. Their prices are competitive with other companies and I was able to get a good deal on them. However, once, I bought something and it didn't tell me they were out of stock and it took a long time to get it figured out. Also, some of their items maybe a little overpriced. I would offer more discounts and deals, and lastly, the website itself needs to be updated. Something can be tricky to find. But overall, I like Overstock.

One of the great things I love with Overstock is the options that are available when it comes to linens and blankets. Overstock has been a great alternative to Amazon for many items. I prefer their site to places like Pier 1 and other stores like it. The entire process, from picking my items to receipt of the product, was exceptionally smooth. I have no complaints and my experience will make me shop at Overstock again.

I like the variety of things they have available, and you certainly can't beat the pricing. Sometimes it's just fun to see what promotions they email me. The only suggestion would be to not have to be so completely thorough in the search filter. Other than that have been very pleased with them. I bought jewelry and bedding and both were wonderful. I was skeptical at first but all things delivered as promised, and quality was terrific.

I purchased a high-end Sony camera from Overstock. It was described as new. When I received the item, several accessories were throw in the shipping box, the camera was clearly used, missing manuals, had the serial number stickers removed from the box (I didn't check the camera itself), and a large label that indicated it may be a non-US model (which means the manufacturer's warranty would not be honored - despite the item description saying it had a 1 year manufacturer warranty).
When I contacted Overstock, they did not seem interested and assured me it was not gray-market, despite the label on the actual item. While they provided an RMA, I had an event to photograph that weekend which left me using my business interruption insurance because I needed to make alternate plans. Very risky to buy from Overstock.

Overstock.com offers a wide variety of products that are highly discounted. The site is easy to use. The products are interesting to look at and the ever changing products selections make for fun shopping and sometimes purchasing products I did not particularly need at the time. Also, shipping is quick and reasonable. It's a fun and easy website and is safe and secure. The company has been in business for several years with increasing sales and product selections. I used Overstock.com because many of my friends used that site to buy things in the past, so I knew it was a decent place to get things from. The name suggests that they have items that need to be sold. But after visiting their site I saw that they were just another online retailer and some of their items were priced pretty high compared to some of their competition. But, it was easy to find what I was looking for and also to make the purchase. Also, my item arrived on time from the estimate they gave me.

I purchased a while ago at Overstock.com and I found what I needed. They got a good variety. The displays were useful and it was easy to check out. What I don't like is it was not well laid out. Overall experience with Overstock.com is fine. It's not hard to maneuver around site. It's easy to track purchases and customer service is outstanding. The prices are usually good and easy to compare to other sites. Their selection is always changing so fun to look. However I don't like the way the catalogue is broken down. Maybe include more categories especially for men's products. I like to find what I want and pay and get on to whatever else I'm doing or shopping for that day. Otherwise I have never heard bad reviews from people I know using the site.

I like that Overstock.com has a variety of products at a fraction of the price and most of the time cheaper than anywhere else and product seems to be good, easy to search for what you are looking for. But the return policy is horrible and the customer service can be terrible. I don't think customers should have to pay for a return if it's Overstock's fault of wrong product. Other than that I always have a good experience with Overstock. I have been very happy with almost everything I have ordered. I received the wrong rug once, sent a pic to customer service and they immediately sent out the right one and told me to keep the first one. I just ordered curtains and they were labeled as the color Lemon but they were very much Lime.

Overstock.com has a decent selection and most things a majority of people would search for. We shopped for a side table and coffee table and there were a lot to choose from. However, I felt like the tables we ordered were very cheap but we didn't pay cheap prices for them. I think if the quality will be that low, the prices should reflect that. When I hear "overstock" I expect very low prices. Other than that, we found what we thought we wanted and the items we ordered came in a decent amount of time. I wasn't blown away by it, but I didn't have a bad experience.

Overstock.com has a large selection of many items and affordable prices of quality products. I have made purchases for myself and for gifts and my purchases have always been quality products. Everything I have purchased has exceeded my expectations, except on one occasion when there was a small flaw in the item but the matter was addressed promptly. They have a variety of stuff and are often discounted. They also have quick shipping services and easy returns if you don't like the item. The shipping and returns were also free. There are times when I want to design or change color of product I ordered but sometimes they don't have that specific color or design available. I also hated how there was a wait for items that were out of stock. But, I liked that I could easily choose and pick what I wanted and was given recommendations for each time as well as being able to choose the rooms for the items that I was looking for. The purchasing page was also easy and I was given a time frame of when to expect my products.

I can always find what I'm looking for on Overstock.com. Their prices are very competitive. My order came quickly, damage free and was exactly what I was looking for. They have a wide assortment of products and I like browsing to see what's new, since their product selection varies on a day to day basis. However, Overstock.com takes longer than most other sites to load. I don't always have a lot of free time, so I appreciate sites that load quickly. It would mean more time to shop on the site!

I ordered a 6 inch memory foam mattress from Overstock.com. A week and a half later when I received the memory foam mattress it was only 3 inches thick, and there are stains on the mattress and had signs of prior use. It is illegal to repackage and resell used mattresses and bedding. I most certainly be reporting this.

If you're thinking about buying/opening a store card with OVERSTOCK run for your life! We have made a few purchases about a year ago (using the store card) and a few more throughout the year and never missed a payment. First let me warn you, Overstock prices are sooooo much higher than Amazon, for example, today I found a changing pad cover (for babies) on Overstock for $20+ and then found the exact same one on Amazon for $6 (%300+ more) and that's only one example! Now, the real scary part is that today I checked my Overstock card account and found 2 interest charges of $291 a month apart (on a $650 balance!) and another charge for $604 promotional something that is not reflected on the balance (yet) but is under "charge" on the activity page.
STAY AWAY from this group, the stuff we got from them is cheap but way overpriced. I regret the day I opened an account/card with them and I cannot wait to close it after I try to resolve this matter. Check their prices. You'll see for yourself and whatever you do, DO NOT open a card with them unless you want insane amounts charged to your account! Will be posting a list of links comparing their prices to other stores, here and on social media, after I gather all the info and get an answer about those insane charges.

I like that you can shop for all your furniture need all online. It has a mobile friendly app to use and search for thousands of furniture items. I also like that everything on this site is simple to use. A minor thing that can be improved for a much better experience to shop on Overstock is you get points for shopping there and you can use the points to get free stuff. The overall experience I have with Overstock.com is great. Simple layout with simple colors and use makes this site great for shopping furniture. Just add the item and check out. It takes off the stress when you are shopping for furniture.

When I used them I did not have any problem with them. Overstock lets me buy large decorations and furniture pieces with little to no charge for shipping. I like how everything seems to be in place at Overstock. I like the merchandise, the way the website is set up, the prices, and the merchants who sell products on that site. The only thing I would change is the way some payments are set up and the delivery fees for most of their merchandise. I would also change the website colors. I came across Overstock.com when I was searching on Google for an item and saw that they had it for a lower price than anywhere else I looked. I was very happy and the rest of the process went smoothly. The main dislike is the limited selection that is available, but I assume that just comes with the territory. Also, sometimes the descriptions of the items are a bit obscure and the site sometimes needs more research to make a sound decision. But I like the occasional good luck in finding a heavy discount on something I need. The selection isn't huge, but when they have what you need it is usually one of the best deals to be found.

I order stuff for a friend's iPod, like skins and a cover and a pair of generic headphones and it got to him within a few days. I found these to be of high quality and when I had questions about the order, the customer service was very helpful. They are, hands down, the least expensive out of online discounters from which I have purchased. If I want iPod skins or covers, it shelves them in a way which makes it easier to read and I don't see any obvious "sponsored sellers" that would confused me or obstruct my view of Overstock. The market is so flooded with Chinese/overseas and it's good (and I don't have to wait 3-6 weeks or more for cheaper goods) but I am sure if there's a quality check with these items or if any of the beauty products are checked for authenticity. I don't see where Overstock make this vetting a priority.

I came across Overstock accidentally when searching for craft supplies. They had the best price of the item I had been searching for. I like how they have such a wide variety/selection of items. I have gotten both craft supplies and luggage from there, which are two completely different types of things. There were other things too, but these two were my most recent purchases from there. So far my experience with them has been good. I have been happy with the items I got. The process of finding what I needed and going through checkout had been easy.

I love Overstock.com because the website offers a bunch of different products at a discounted price. You can find pretty much anything that you are looking for on their site. If I could change anything about Overstock.com, it would be to have more of the items in stock. They have a lot of variety but they have all kinds of items from household to jewelry, something in everyone's price range. They have good return policy if you need that. If something arrives damaged they fix this fast. However, it can be expensive but I think that free shipping and combined shipping would be a great additive for this company, also prices that are fair and reasonable. I like their prices and the variety of their stock. I have found some great bargains at their store, and can usually find a bargain on the shipping costs, too. I dislike the search function at Overstock. I have tried many, many times to search for a specific item -- for example, a specific color of pillow, or size and color of bedding. When I search, the result often include irrelevant products. Also, the site is sometimes slow, and I give up and look elsewhere for the item I want to purchase. My experience with using Overstock.com was good. They need more choices in product selections such as more designs of their lamps and throw rugs and colors but overall the choices are good. Overstock.com has reasonable prices and a good selection of stock. I like the selection of kitchen accessories they have and small appliances. Selection is pretty good but these days it seems to be outdated for some reason. Maybe adding more umph to the site or better picture quality. The site just doesn't seem appealing to me. Also, the prices use to be good but they seem to be creeping up to be comparable to other sites. It needs to be easier to return products and I wish they would have products as in other items you might like, more like Amazon has and it feels pretty fuddy duddy anymore, like it's old school compared to more interesting sites. Bought sofa leather set 7 months ago online through Overstock.com. After read reviews I bought it. I started noticing peeling just in one spot. Back rest area pin hole size. I contacted both Overstock.com and Abbyson Living. I have sent pictures of couches. I am still under the so called warranty (1 year). So far a lot of calls on my end and no resolution. They have not returned any of my emails or calls. I am very upset. I tried to write a review on overstock but have been blocked somehow. That link on the website is not working? I think something needs to be done about this. I work hard for my money and this was first time buying leather set. These people need to advertise honestly and tell people front page that it is some sort of bonded leather instead of advertising as "top grain leather". This was a very expensive mistake that I guess I will not get any resolution and now I am out my hard earned money. Leather fraud.

Overstock has everything I could ever imagine at a very discounted rate compared to other online stores. They offer price matching, free shipping on some things, they allow me to complete everything I need to with my ordering in a timely manner. They are honest, transparent and the shipping is fast and affordable. They are an all around dependable online company. The site itself is very easy to choose from and it is free of clutter. The items are also all listed with plenty of room around them.
They can't do enough with the online chat service to be able to help me should I run into a problem, though that doesn't happen very often. Purchasing could not be easier or more secure. I also had one instance with a customer service representative who's new to his job and didn't know everything that he was doing but Overstock reassured me that they would make thing right with me and did so in a very timely manner. Other than that, they have a top notch customer service that is second to none.

I like how they give you ideas on how to use the furniture, rugs, etc. There are things for everyone and they have probably everything you are looking for but the colors of some of the items I wanted was out of stock for quite a long time. You have to be in the right place at the right time to get most items. Also there seems to be limited sizes when it comes to clothes. I need large sizes and there just aren't many. I like the variety of their site, men's and women's and for the kids' clothing that is quality and makes really good gifts for birthdays and holidays. When the seasons change and you want to buy new clothes for summer or the beach and swimsuits, once again the brand names are excellent and you can always count on a good deal. I have found what I wanted with no problems in finding it, but it would be great if there was a "bargain " page for all types of things from nightwear to clothes for vacation and special occasions in all departments. One thing I love most of all is just browsing from department to department, I not only can order for myself but get idea for gifts and holidays. The product selection from Overstock.com was great. They offered very low prices and I was shocked by the selection that they had available. The purchasing process was easy and the website was easy to navigate. I was able to select what I wanted to order then I was able to see the entire price including taxes. Also, the order was processed quickly and the customer service was great. My delivery arrived at my house in a timely fashion and had no setbacks or problems whatsoever. The order was packaged well and everything was in the package. However, Overstock could increase its selection of sponsored sportswear like offering Under Armour and name brand NFL merchandise. They could also make their delivery boxes a bit more appealing although that may raise their prices slightly.

Wide variety of items in areas of my interest. Some good prices on items, but you must know your product and prices to get a good deal. Sometimes it is hard to navigate the website with all of the options that are available. Also, some prices and regular list prices should be noted as normal. It took me a while to search and find the item I wanted at the price I would pay. And it is hard to do comparison shopping on the site. It would be nice to have comparisons on the item also. The flat rate/low cost shipping cost is really nice. Many times online a good price on a product doesn't matter if high shipping costs. But I am not fond of Overstock as much anymore as when it first came out. Over the years their prices have actually gone up and closer to regular retail price in the stores or on other websites. The "compare to" prices seem exaggerated. I was satisfied at the time with the price, but the selection was limited. Limiting things in my sizes are frustrating for me on Overstock.

Overstock.com has an eclectic collection of items and always has high quality items of the product I am looking for and at great prices always. I like the layout and colors too. The advertising is interesting at times. But the choice could be a bit larger especially when I am looking for something a tad cheaper. Also, more free shipping would always be good. And they don't need to spam me as much as they do with emails. Once a week at most with a summary of things to come and I will look more closely. Nevertheless, it is easier to find what I am looking than a few other popular e-commerce sites. The offerings can sometimes lead me to an impulse buy but that is good because I find stuff I normally wouldn't think of looking for.

Buyers Beware! Overstock does NOT honor their new email sign up 10% off coupon as it is written. It claims it is not eligible on "Special Sale" items, but makes no disclaimer for exclusion with regular sale items. As Overstock explained the differences, "Special Sale" items are items available on sale for a limited time, whereas "Sale" items are those items priced at rock bottom price all the time. They will not honor their 10% off coupon against "Sale" items OR "Special Sale" items so don't let them sucker you into "You're approved for an Overstock Credit Card to receive 10% off this order!" scam that they put into a popup in place of the supposed 10% off coupon.

I can purchase unique furniture at Overstock.com, and there's many varieties of furniture to choose from that ship very fast. The customer service is very reliable when it comes to handling the most complicated issues, the employees take their time out to make sure to solve this issue. I love that I can get great deals on things that cost a great deal more at the store. The prices are beyond reasonable and I find it a refreshing way to search for products that I want and pay a ton less for them in the long run. Overstock.com is a wonderful place to find pretty much anything just by typing what you are looking for in the search bar and waiting for the results to pop up. It is also fun to just browse everything with no specifics in mind because there is so much of a selection of everything. I ordered some towels for my bathroom since they are so expensive at the store. There were tons to choose from, the purchasing process was very easy, and the item got to me when I expected it to come. I had a fancy new bathroom within a week after ordering my towels (wanted to match my paint to my towels). However, the site sometimes is overwhelming because there is so much to look at, but there is no real way to change that.

The site's overall design was easy on the eyes. It has a simple search layout that works for most items. The site loads quickly between searches and browsing new pages. However, I ran into a few issues finding the items I was interested in, I wasn't able to do all my online shopping on their website. When I searched for the items I needed, I found either nothing or very little and it was much cheaper to shop elsewhere. They have a limited catalog and not many sales, also they don't seem to match against competitors very well. I also wish they had better shipping options overall.

Ordered 2 rugs. Both had to be the same due to them both being in same room. When I ordered it said "2 left". When it showed there was only one even though online it said all was shipped. I entered the chat line at night. Do not go there. First Shaleen gave me the runaround. I told her and everyone else that I had to have 2 or none. Several times she said, "Do you feel I have answered all your questions." I kept saying no. Finally around midnight I got frustrated and asked for a phone number to call someone in the morning. She would not give me one. Finally I ended up with the Supervisor Cody **. I asked the same thing and he refused.
The next morning when I checked my Email Cody ** had written me and said I had 3 choices. Refund 1 carpet, they order me the other again or send the one I got back. I was told I had 24 hours to respond. I said, "Order me the carpet." No response from Mr. Cody **. Finally got a reasonable man on the phone named Clyde. He told me that the rug was out of stock. Imagine that, the other 2 would not tell me that. Now the other carpet is sitting in front of my house waiting for pick up by UPS. Over $900 and I can not get that back till 5 to 7 business days after the rug return. Do what you want with this information but Overstock is off my list. Never had trouble with Wayfair so heading there now.

My Overstock account was frozen because they assumed fraud was happening on my account because there are two of us who used only one Overstock.com site to shop and paid with two different Overstock cards. After speaking with the Overstock fraud dept they actually treated me like I was the bad guy and REFUSED to unfreeze my Overstock web page. Not only were they rude, but they actually hung up on me! I was VERY nice to them and they treated ME like I was the bad guy.
I sent them ALL the info they asked for (Driver license, SELFIE!) and our accounts are in excellent standing with plenty of available credit, not to mention I have an almost $30 credit to my Overstock account and they won't even let me use it. Amazon gets ALL our business from now on! STAY AWAY FROM OVERSTOCK!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRICES TOO HIGH!

Last time I'm ordering from them. I ordered the Republic Design House Queen Cambridge Ivory Headboard storage bed and it showed in the picture the frame and the headboard, then I receive a package with only a headboard and it was not even the same headboard. When I called them they said it was probably a mistake and now I have to take this heavy box to a UPS store to return.

We purchase from Overstock the Samsung Washer Dryer (Gas Dryer). After 2 weeks was deliver all wrapped so you cannot see what inside. The driver refused to wait to open and inspect. He told us the package not damage. Very little English speaking driver. So we open and recognize it is the totally different items what Overstock show in his website on the pictures. We called Customer service. The agent also recognize the differences. Also the pedestal's was missing. She told us need to transfer us to the Electrical department. She get back on the phone and told us someone will call us back after 3-5 Business days. We receive the phone call and the gentleman recognize the differences. He ask to send the pictures from the delivered items. He told us he will call on Monday - nobody called.
We saw on the website the RA # initiated and the re-deliver start to process- but after 1 days the re-deliver was cancelled and when we called was told us it is out of stock no info when going to have this style again. So I here with no Washer Dryer. I paid for the scheduled installation and take 2 days off from work to wait for the deliver and the next day installations. It is totally unacceptable. We understand mistakes but should find the solutions but do not want to try anything. I do not recommend to buy anything from Overstock.

I placed an order for 2 sets of 2 counter height bar stools. 2 days later I was informed by email that the warehouse informed them that my stools did not come in a set of 2, they only came individually and it asked what I would like to do- order 2 more stools or cancel the order. I called customer service and was amazed at the woman's response- she was going to get me the 4 stools since that what was advertised on their site. She had to do some paperwork but she was going to get me the stools. I knew it was too good to be true. 2 days later I received another email from the original customer service rep stating that she needed to hear from me to decide what to do about the order. I was confused since I spoke to someone at customer service the day I got the original email. I called again and was not really given any information, but she confirmed that I wanted 4 stools for my original price, which I did.
4 days after that I received another email stating that I could not get my 4 stools for the original price. I would have to purchase 2 more if I wanted the 4. I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor who stated there was nothing he could do- even though their website "made a mistake" they could not get me the 4 stools. I am beyond frustrated at this "mistake" (actually a misrepresentation of information) and their inability to correct this error and honor the price of the order that I ordered. So, 3 phone calls, 2 emails and a verified order confirmation and I have no stools and no confidence in their website.

I ordered a king bedroom suite but needed to cancel the order because the shipping was going to take too long. I looked up the information and my order still showed as processing. Based on their written policies I should be able to cancel the order - WRONG. They said the order had already shipped but the system still shows as processing. They then send me an email stating they cannot cancel the order and if I refuse I will have to pay the return shipping.

My mother ordered a bedroom set, visually satisfactory. However shortly after delivery noted a foul odor had become prominent in her bedroom. The odor most likely formaldehyde, used obviously as a treatment for pressboard used in furniture. When contacted regarding the concerns the customer service team was pleasant and understanding. However do the outgassing of the furniture. My mother has basically lost use of her bedroom at this point. Arranged through Overstock for pick up of the furniture, waited 4 hours past estimated time, only to have pick up team come upstairs and refuse pick as bed had not been disassembled. Now disassembly had been discussed with Overstock and approved. So basically waited five hours for the pick up team to say "hi and no."

I ordered a dining room set which was named Gracy Transitional Medium Brown Ladder Back 5-piece Dining Set and listed at $877.49. This is a very small table with 4 chairs. I was expecting decent quality both from the description on Overstock and the price. However what arrived was a total piece of junk. My husband spent a lot of time putting it together and each of the chairs wobbles by at least 2 inches. The quality is super cheap. I went on Overstock to see if there were any reviews and it stated that the product was out of stock and there were no reviews. I looked at the box that the table and chairs had arrived in and googled that. What came up was a Shasta dining set from Coaster Furniture. Indeed it was the exact same photo that was used to advertise this Gracy Transitional set on Overstock. The kicker this Shasta set was selling everywhere else for less than 1/2 what I paid. In fact I found it for as little $319 elsewhere.
I called Overstock irate and told them I would be returning the table and to refund my credit card. They told me I had to disassemble the table and get it back in the boxes. Hell no we just spent hours putting together this piece of crap that you falsely advertised. I have been calling them daily for almost a week now and getting a total runaround. Their customer service beyond sucks and they told me that it is an issue between me and the oversize delivery company. What? The oversized delivery company did not change the name on a product and more than double the price. The oversized delivery company did not sell me chairs that are super flimsy and wobble all over the place. Buyer beware. Never order furniture from Overstock.

I placed an order for two rugs on Monday. I put my name and billing address, but somehow it used my boyfriend's credit card number, which was on file. I assumed that the order wouldn't go through but called within the hour just to be safe. I explained to the lady that I need to cancel the order because it somehow used my name and his number. I told her that I was going to reorder with the correct credit card information. I then looked online and saw both orders so I chatted and the lady explained that it would be taken care of. Today (two days later), they email me to inform me that they shipped both orders. They shipped an order in my name with my boyfriend's credit card number after being canceled twice. This is unacceptable. I will never shop with this company again.

After numerous emails and dealing with several different Customer service reps this has finally been resolved. Overstock did pick up the furniture and returned all of my money. I give them 3 stars for resolving it but they would have more if they had resolved it before I had to make formal complaints

I spent over $1000 for 4 patio chairs in December 2016. We had our first 90 degree day about 2 weeks ago and the cushions on the chairs are literally melting. Now grant it it's 90 degrees but that a cool day here in Phoenix our temps hit 118 degrees. They say they are melting due to a window nearby causing the heat to be more intense. I have the previous set that was there 3 years on another patio and there is no damage. How can they sell outdoor furniture to Arizona when any kind of heat will melt the fabric? There is nothing in the description that states the fabric can't stand up to Arizona heat. The manufacturer states warranty is voided because of the window. Really? Even if they replaced the cushions the same thing will happen again. The customer service rep offered me a 15% discount coupon to order new cushions. Really? They want me to buy something else from them. Stay away from Overstock!

I placed an order over 1 month ago and still have yet to receive the package. They're giving me the run around about they can't find the correct tracking number and if they are unable to locate it then they will give me a refund. Shortly after contacting support they sent an email with instructions on how to return the package that I have to pay for. How can I return something I never got and is still in transit? This has been the worst experience and I will never shop with them again!

Customer care is terrible. I ordered a runner rug. I was sent a HUGE 10x15 rug and another 6x8 rug of same design (looked nothing like the colors on the site) and never a runner. I spent HOURS on chat with three different people. They said they'd pick it up, that it was an order for someone else. I ordered other things so I have no idea if they charged me. Neither did they. They had no record even of my runner rug. I also tried to return a bracelet, they had no record of the bracelet. And they refuse a return without an order number. They had no order numbers on file. Impossible to successfully return anything. So far I've found the products to be from mediocre to nice so I was encouraged. But the money and time loss of dealing with them is NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION.

We bought a hot tub and when completing the purchase, were ASSURED that there would be a team to unload and carry it around to our back patio. They sent a delivery crew of ONE, and not sure what they were thinking. The hot tub weighs 600+ pounds, and they send ONE delivery person. We refused the shipment, and my wife was told we'd have to pay a return fee. SERIOUSLY? You sold "full delivery", and when that didn't happen, and the customer then refused the shipment, you charge the CUSTOMER for a return? False advertising, fraudulent execution of a transaction. We won't buy ANYTHING from Overstock ever again.

I purchased a skinmedica TNS cream from Overstock and what I got was a cream that was unsealed from some guy in Florida. I looked up the return address and it was a ** apartment complex in FL. The box contained an OS invoice in it as well. OS gave this strange man my personal address information and he shipped me a God knows what is that cream product. I contacted OS and told them. The first guy was super nice and seemed shocked and would reship another cream. Then 15 minutes later I thought no, I better not do that one again. I called back, told my story to the next rep and he was rude and said "well it says on the site OS does that". I'm sorry WHERE ON THE SITE does it say they give your personal address to some sketchy man in a ** address.
This guy has my personal information WTF? I got my refund but that's it. I even gave my review of what happen on the site. The review was on for 1 hour and pulled this product has 5 stars from other consumers but not the entire truth. OS is a sketchy company that buys from sellers probably off ebay or something. NEVER BUY OVERSTOCK. It's scary to know my address was given out this way.

Don't honor what site says. I made a purchase over 500 dollars. It was supposed to be interest-free 12 months. They have been charging me interest and I always get the run around on phone and never anybody that knows. The more I see their site the prices I check are higher than other sites.

I recently purchased curtains from them and when I got it I didn't like how the silky fabric had scratches on them. I called Overstock saying I will return it because of this damage. They said I have to pay for return fee because my reason was that I didn't like the product. I said after they inspect it they can see that there are scratches on them and if they don't I will pay the fee. They still charged me return fee. Apparently they didn't see the scratches. So now they will resell these damage curtains. I don't even think they inspected because there are clear damages on one of the curtains. So now I am sure they will resell these and someone will end up with damage curtains again. I am not pleased with Overstock. Will not buy anything anymore on their website.

I ordered a sofa from them online since it had high ratings. However, when I received it, it was used and damaged in the corners most likely from transit since they did not package it well. I contacted them on Friday and they did not respond until Monday. They have tried to offer money to keep the damaged item rather than immediately get me a return label and a UPS pickup for this package. Then they said that the carrier will be contacting me within 10 days like I have time to wait around and have $700 sitting there charged and have yet to get me a label to return this damaged/defective product. So I am out $700 while they ** around with the carrier. This whole experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I never want to order here again. If they do not get me a label and pickup soon I am going to have to file a charge back.

Does this company respond to these complaints? I seriously doubt it! I have been ripped off, and have three bad experiences with overstock. Ordered a memory foam mattress topper... Some piece of crap arrived (not even close to what I ordered) with grease all over both sides. They did refund my money on that after a couple weeks of hassle.
Ordered dining room chairs... Was never told that the two others are needed would never be available because they were permanently out of stock. Ordered a $300.00 area rug... It arrived and is all bunched up in about 20 places throughout the rug... cannot be straightened! Had to pay my handyman $75.00 to put it in the room (bring in box, move furniture, etc.) and now have to pay him again to take it out of the room, roll it up for shipment back. I called c/s, and was told "That's too bad!... It's not OUR problem if you pay a handyman!" UNBELIEVABLE!
3 weeks later, after many, many calls, and never being able to get through to the c/s rep I talked to last, (and being told their warehouse would look at the next rug before sending it out), a c/s rep called me today to tell me that the warehouse is too busy, and can't check merchandise before it goes out! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER ORDER FROM THESE RIP OFF ARTISTS AGAIN. OVERSTOCK STINKS!!!

Least helpful company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing. I have been trying to purchase a networking tool from them all day. I am a new customer and applied for their store credit. I was approved for a certain amount and the tool is $265 above the amount. I tried to pay with the store card and the remainder with my credit card. I was told I couldn't do that because the company has no way of splitting payments.
Then, I tried applying a 10% coupon that was emailed to me for being a new customer. When you click the link, it takes you to the store site, tells you the coupon has been applied, but the amount never changed. When I inquired about that, I was told it doesn't apply to electronics. What I am buying is technically a tool. It is a device that tests wireless networks. Regardless, I think it's pretty crappy to offer new customers a 10% discount but then have tons of limitations on what it can be used for (you should see the fine print. Almost everything is excluded). So then I am told that the best way to do this is purchase gift cards, apply the gift cards to the purchase, that would bring the balance to an amount lower than the credit limit, and at that point I can make my purchase.
So, I purchase 2 $200 e-gift cards that are delivered via e-mail. Well, wouldn't you know it that it became a problem as well. I am now told it can take up to 2 business days to receive an emailed gift card. Are you kidding me? These people are tragic! No wonder Amazon kills them in sales. I have purchased tons of Amazon cards and have had them delivered within the hour. What are these people doing? It's an ecard!!! Needless to say, after this I will NEVER shop with them again.

We live in the US Virgin Islands, which are part of the United States. Many companies do not ship here so the custom is to have items shipped to a shipping company in the mainland and have the company ship them to our island. So, I spent over 10 hours choosing over 3k worth of items in Overstock. I spent considerable time carefully preparing my order. When I placed it, a message showed up stating that my order was international and could not be shipped. Clearly, this is not the case. The items are supposed to be shipped to Florida!!!
The credit card has a US Virgin Islands address but the shipping address is in the Mainland. I consider this policy discriminatory against the territories. Simply bc the credit card's billing address is in the Virgin Islands (NOT an international location), the company should not exclude shipping items to the Mainland. This policy also applies to Puerto Rico based credit cards, an island of over 3 million people of Puerto Rican nationality. I hope your lawyers consider suing this company and many others who have similar policies. Thank you.

As I live in the U.K. I'm aware it would take some time to be delivered but never have I ever waited this long for a order online. I ordered an item described as "100 percent dupioni silk panels," (notice the plural), the picture of which showed two panels on a window. Overstock sells many other products listed in the singular as 'panel,' so I figured they couldn't possibly be both misdescribing the item and incorrectly picturing it. I ordered several of these 'panels' and each package contained a single panel. Overstock would not admit false advertising or agree to change the listing after I confronted them via customer service. Neither would they make the transaction conform to what they had advertised by sending me the other panels. It appears that they know they can make much more money by relying on the customer not having the patience to return falsely advertised items.

I made a large purchase for my home recently. However, before I made it, I spoke with a Supervisor, to ensure that if I had to return the items because they weren't as described (colors, quality, etc.). He wrote instructions to whomever was providing a refund, (in the event that I had to return the items), that I was to be reimbursed 100% of the totals sale. I made sure I set this up in advance with someone with the authority to do it because I had discovered that a lot of these online cos. have a very unfair, (to their customers), catch-all reason for return called 'BUYER'S REMORSE'. They don't inform their customers of this policy unless asked. This 'BUYER'S REMORSE' reason for return allows them to arbitrarily keep as much of their customer's money as they want to on returns. They check this reason for almost all returns. It's vague & allows them to keep 50%.
Returns that are labeled 'Buyers Remorse' include if the color doesn't resemble the pictures on their website, description & or quality of an item. Their customer service people tried to refund me about $50% of my $470. purchase even with the notes telling C.S. to refund 100% of my purchase, regardless of why I returned them. I returned them because the quality was awful & the colors didn't resemble the pictures on their site. I had to call & email them several times to find out why the reimbursement hadn't been made & then why the credit wasn't 100%. Every C.S person I spoke to lied to me about the amount of the refund. They all told me that they had issued a full refund when they had not.
It took 10 days for me to be reimbursed the full amt. I will never purchase from them again. Based on my own recent experience, as well as hundreds of bad reviews I've seen on this & other sites, I would suggest anyone considering shopping to find another more reputable, (if possible) site. Almost all online sites use this "Buyer's Remorse" policy. BEWARE. & stay away from the polite, professional sounding liars at overstock.

This is the second time this has occurred with Overstock. Ordered sport coat 'on sale'. 7 days later still in processing mode. No communication from them. Spoke with them and someone was to call me within 2 days. Didn't happen. Looking at their website I see same jacket now $250 on sale for $150.99. It occurs to me that they might have marked coat wrong and now don't want to fulfill my order. I purchased for $86. Phoned again and rep said they didn't have in stock... were trying to get it, etc. I said "but website would have let me purchase jacket again in same size." The short of it is that Overstock is an unscrupulous low rent operation. Customer Service is a mere suggestion to them. They take your money and then do not contact you. It's all on you to make contact and resolve the issue. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDS.

I ordered a sofa and a chair through Overstock.com. The process was great, and I was excited about my purchases. They shipped them via UPS - fine, initially. Delivery date was supposed to be 1/11, but only one package was delivered. UPS cited "truck issues" as the reason that the other one was not. The first package, the sofa, was not delivered to my front door as promised, but I had hired people to help me move it in, so it was inconvenient but we made it happen. However, I contacted both Overstock AND UPS telling them that because UPS misdelivered my chair, they needed to follow through on the directions to bring it to my front door, as I could not rehire people for the next day. UPS said that they would, and yet I got home today and they had not only NOT delivered it to my front door, they left it at a random gate in my condo complex far from my unit.
I called Overstock to tell them this and they had no answers for me, and basically said that it was my problem. The customer service agent connected me with UPS, but a three-way call became a two-way call when he hung up (which he was not supposed to do). Overstock should not ship furniture via UPS if UPS refuses to deliver it to the exact location that the shipment says. I live alone and am unable to lift furniture up 1.5 flights of stairs; UPS is able to do that, and yet they refused for some unknown reason. Overstock needs to figure out how to ship furniture in a way that it will actually get delivered to the right door. I will not be buying anything from them again, ever.

I received a gift for Christmas from participation in a gift exchange. I received two, from two different people, both from Overstock. One item was correct, the other was not: comforter set vs duvet set. Without trying to be rude to the gift giver, I want to exchange the one that I did not need but Overstock's policy does not allow this without informing the buyer. Not only is this inconvenient but this isn't something a gift receiver should have to go through. I am more than willing to return in Overstock box with original labels. Knowing this is their policy, this is the last time I purchase anything from them. I will be sharing with other family members who have also been loyal customers. This is just not right on Overstock's part.

We ordered a product that was advertised as a box of 8 (SAMPLE). We needed 5 boxes of 8 tiles, so we ordered 5. What we got in the mail was 5 individual tiles, for the exorbitant price of $25 plus $5 for shipping. We tried dealing with this company and telling them that if a sample was only one tile, they should have indicated in their ad (SAMPLE OF 1 TILE). The price of these five tiles was 3 times the retail price. We can not get any satisfaction from this company, even though they offer a money back guarantee. They still want to charge us the original $5 shipping plus $12 to return the 5 crappy tiles. I would never do business with this horrible group again.

I ordered a piece of jewelry back on Dec 18th for my daughter's Christmas present with an estimated delivery date of Dec 23rd. Order did not get processed until two days later and the initial delivery date was pushed back to Dec 28th. When I called DHL, they told me they hadn't received the item from Overstock and when I called Overstock, they told me the opposite. Bottom line at this point neither parties seemed to know where the item I had already been charged for was.
I was told by the Overstock rep that DHL did a bad job at updating their status and that the item would most likely arrive that day regardless what DHL had mentioned. The item never came. When I logged in the following day, the date was now pushed back to the 2nd of Jan and didn't arrive until the 3rd only to find out that the item was THE WRONG ONE!!! When I called back on the 3rd, Overstock placed a replacement order and said I would receive in 3 to 6 business days. I looked at the status on Jan 6th and not only was my replacement order cancelled but it is NOW OUT OF STOCK!!! Overstock has to be the most careless company I've ever dealt with. Just cancelled my 3K credit card and will never order from them again.

I order a refurbished HP Elite 8100 Desktop computer from Overstock & their partner Advanced Skyline Technology. $335. NEVER AGAIN. The computer arrived via UPS ground on time, but when I opened the box I was appalled at how poorly the computer had been packed. There was very little styrofoam around the computer. Mostly its sides were against the side of the box & there was room for it to flop around in the box. I decided not to keep the computer; even if it worked, I was sure the components had been compromised in shipping. I did not remove the plastic sealed covering around the computer. The ensuing fiasco of trying to return the item convinced me that both companies were doing everything possible to get me to "go away".
I could go into detail about how they do this, but basically, they drag their feet and do everything possible to get you to go away, including always saying that you need to contact "the other" party. AST does not answer their "customer service" phone. Overstock will routinely tell you that someone will contact you in 1-2 days (they don't). I finally got a return reference number from AST via email, followed the directions on Overstock's website and returned the computer via UPS, with tracking and insurance... to their Buffalo location. AST then told me that they had sent me via email a return shipping label (that I never got) and if didn't use it, I wouldn't get a refund for the shipping ($85).
When the computer arrived in Buffalo, I began contacting Overstock and asking when I would get my refund. Time after time I was blown off; until finally I got very angry and finally they said I would have my refund to me by the end of the day (it took two days). So, from the time I got the computer, it took 3 weeks to get the refund of $335 to show up on my credit card, but no shipping refund.
Sadly, I am convinced that this whole setup is a bit of a scam. For one thing, I found out that ADVANCED SKYLINE TECHNOLOGY (in Canada) pretty much just sells used company leased computers, and though they can legally call themselves a "Microsoft Refurbisher", this only means they have the right to re-image a computer with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems; it has nothing to do with the quality of the repair work or their service. By the end of the process, they made me feel like I was the one who did something wrong, but THEY were the ones who screwed me over & they don't even care. The way this computer was packed for shipping was a joke.

I purchased an upholstered headboard online with no problems. After receiving the item, I just needed to exchange it from a King to a Queen. However, they were out and told me they did not do exchanges. I would have to return to bed, wait for my credit and reorder another bed costing me a $35.00 shipping fee. The young lady was nasty and did not offer to assist me with finding another headboard or even apologize for being sold out. I ask to speak with her manager and she processed my return and she hung up the phone in my face. I then called back, had to give all of my information to the next customer service agent before they would allow me to speak with the manager. I will never order from them again. I ordered an item from Overstock a week before Christmas (12/16...finally found an item my wife was wanting). The price was right, but for some reason, the item didn't even show shipped for 5 days after the purchase (12/21). I know the weekend probably got in the way, but the item should have been shipped Monday, not Wed. Now, it has no delivery date, and according to the tracking number given, it's not even picked up, yet. So much for any chance of having it for Christmas. I'll likely never do business with them again, and won't recommend them to anyone.

After being a loyal customer for over ten years, it will be a cold day in Haiti before I shop or recommend Overstock to anyone. I placed an order on December 16th for a pair of Men's Classic Mini Deco Ugg boots. They were a Christmas present, so I wanted to allow plenty of time for the package to arrive. On December 19th, I received an email notifying me that the boots had shipped. The email not only confirmed the order number, but also my correct shipping address.
On December 21st, I received another email notifying me that the boots had been delivered to my shipping address. When I arrived at my office there was no package. I immediately went online to check the tracking number. I had received an email confirmation saying the boots were delivered to my business address, I was confused as to why nothing was there. The tracking number showed they were actually delivered to an address in San Jose, California on 12/21/16 instead of my shipping address as indicated in the email.
I immediately called Overstock and spoke to Parker who said the tracking number was most likely mixed up, and associated with another package. He then said he would put trace on my package, and if it didn't show up the next day, they would refund my money and ship out a replacement pair of boots. Great, but I still would not have my Christmas gift in time.
UPS confirmed Overstock gave me an incorrect tracking number, and the other package that went to California had the correct person's name and address. They also had no information, tracking number, or any record of my package. I then called Overstock back and shared this information. They finally admitted that they had no tracking information either, and had no clue where my package was. At this point I'm beyond upset.
And to add insult to injury, Overstock refused to overnight the replacement boots to me as a courtesy. NOPE!! And I had to call back to get the new tracking number and be told the new boots wouldn't be delivered until January 3, 2017. Another slap in the face. Now I'm having to wait 4 weeks to receive my present. It would have been nice to get a new email with the new order and tracking numbers. I received nothing. Thanks for ruining my Christmas Overstock with your poor customer service and business practices. I will NEVER order from Overstock again. The poor customer service and nonchalant attitudes from customer service reps is unacceptable. I am very disappointed in the product I received. I was looking to get new dog's beds for my bulldogs for Christmas. I found Overstock through Google. After reviewing the site I thought wow how great. These beds look nice and it's a great deal. I purchased an extra large dog bed. When I opened my package a few days later it was beyond small. My 45 lb. bulldog could not comfortably fit in the "extra large" dog bed. Not only was I ripped off by the size it was extremely overpriced for what I got. I would not recommend Overstock to anyone!

I am trying to return some used/not worn earring to Overstock and they are dragging their feet. The earring were $800 and when I received them I took them to my Jeweler for inspection. He found a chip on the stone and many of the diamond not even. He called the earrings low quality. I immediately tried to return them with all original packing. They have stopped the return process and are dragging their feet. It seems like they don't want me to return them. I was very careful to read the return policy and have done everything within that policy, but they still will not send me a return label and refund my money.

I ordered 2 pairs of curtains from OS.com online. In less than an hour, I called to cancel the order - I realized that the color was going to be off - not matching the paint and decor of my bedroom. I was told it was too late, that it was already in the system. I told them I would have to refuse delivery from UPS which I did - I marked the unopened box Return To Sender - Refuse Deliver. The very next day it was delivered back to me by UPS with a message that Overstock.com refused to accept it. How can they do that if I have refused deliver and sent back an unopened box?

Purchased a 3 piece duvet cover along with sheets to match duvet. I received the duvet cover first which they sent me the wrong color. I called & they apologized & they sent me the return label to send it back. The woman told me I would receive the correct color as quickly as I received the first 1 which was about 3 days. It took a few days for me to get the email that the package had been shipped. It shipped on 11/30. Tracked the package, estimated delivery was 12/7. It is now 12/12 & no package. When I track it through UPS, it shows the label has been generated but that's it. I contacted customer service through chat since it was after hours for phone & they said some other department will be contacting me within 1-2 business days & if they can't locate the package, a replacement will be sent.
So I need a replacement for my replacement? I'm going to contact customer service by phone tomorrow. I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering with this company. I really hope when I update my review it will be with good news. This was my first time ordering with Overstock and will probably be the last. Oh, I did receive the sheets. If I do not receive this duvet, I'm going to be even more furious, 'cause like I said, I ordered this color to match the duvet. I do not want to go through more hassle returning the sheets with this company.

After making one of several purchases I was promoted that I earned $10 cash back. I read term and conditions TWICE and could ascertain there was a catch but couldn't find the fees involved. I called and was told a monthly fee of $12.97 would be billed to my credit card. I'm sure it's illegal to NOT disclose the fees involved.

I ordered a refurbished Kitchen Aid mixer on black Friday. I paid for my item and for almost 2 weeks I kept getting the run around about how my item was out of stock but they expected to get some in within the month. I spoke (via chat) to SEVERAL of their customer service reps and got the same answer every time. "Rest assured you will get your item." Then I got a couple of emails stating they were not going to be getting any more in stock and my item would be cancelled. I was furious! This was a gift from my husband and now he doesn't know what he's going to do. They thought they could pity me by giving me a free O membership for a year and $20 in O cash.
This was my first order from Overstock and this happens. I had resolved that I would never order from them again but decided I would use their cash they gave me and be done. Guess what? The order is STILL processing. This company is the very worst company I have ever dealt with in regards to online ordering. I will never use it again and will discourage anyone from ever buying from there again.

I made an order on the 11th of November. Today is the 8th of December. My order is still pending. A total of $100 of my money has been stuck in pending for a month. Apparently when I checked out I missed a single letter in my email address. Now the customer service person can't find my account and claims the account doesn't exist, even though I have a screenshot from my paypal clearly showing that the order has been pending for a month. And I find it really funny that the order number on the bottom of this comment box is the same thing the customer service person kept asking for although I clearly explained that I never got the order number because I never got the order confirmation because I typed the email address in wrong. Like you literally have my name, my shipping address AND my credit card on file but I'm stuck in pending for a month because I made one spelling mistake. And the customer service just can't figure it out.

I ordered a rug & was sent an email that it shipped 11-29-16 via FedEx. It is now 12-6-16 & there has been no movement according to the FedEx tracking #. I chatted with Overstock today. They were no help. The online chat took 40 min. To be told there was nothing they could really do. The rug I ordered was very limited stock. I asked if a new one could be sent ASAP & if the original shows up I will send it back or refuse package. The answer was no I am just to wait!

They canceled over a dozen orders I had placed saying that something on my address or phone number was not correct but after calling them they said that they replaced the orders. They then said that they sent some of the items and two days later again canceled my orders. I had to spend days and nights researching so many items to re-enter into another few orders and even though I missed several of the items due to cost, the total now was over $800 more than previously. This was because they did not want me to get so many discounts during the black Friday sales.
Never ever will I trust any business such as Overstock and will research it first. They cannot be trusted.

I am furious. I bought some curtains on Overstock and needed to exchange them because they were the wrong color. They told me it would cost $10 to ship them back (they deduct it from your refund), and then another $5 to reship the right color. Mind you, I paid $20 for them, so that's 75% of what I paid! Are you kidding me? I can't believe that is even legal! People need to know what they are in for before ordering. I'll keep them and sell on eBay, and I will NEVER shop Overstock again!! It is complete ripoff.

Well, to start with, some background. I am my mother's sole caregiver and she had some serious health issues over the past four months. It is just now that we are trying to get back to some "normalcy". It is at this point that my very distasteful interaction with Overstock and their returns department occurred. I had purchased dishes in July. When they arrived, they were inferior to the picture and description listed on Overstock's site so, I called, explained the problem, and was sent a return label. Before I even received the label in the mail - broken printer - all hell broke loose and dishes were the least of my concerns.
So, I finally had a minute today to turn my mind to returning these dishes. Well, Overstock's return department informed me that they were past due, no one in the company had the power to override the time frame and still allow me to return these dishes for a full refund. In fact, they told me, in this blessed and charitable time of year, that even if I did pick up the $23.00 postage, I would still only receive 20% back from the $130.00 cost of these dishes!
Therefore, I told the young lady whom I'd dealt with - who was kind, patient, and even sympathetic - that it was not her fault, but that Overstock and their policy makers should be very proud of themselves at this "giving" time of year and that I was sure they would have very clear consciences and very blessed holidays. I am livid at Overstock's lack of humanity and understanding for their customers! And all I have to say is, "Amazon, Amazon, Amazon!" And, "Wayfair, Wayfair, Wayfair!" Two sites that have always treated me more than kindly and fairly.

I ordered my 1000 dollar iPad Pro on Thanksgiving expedited, told that it would show up on Tuesday. However, Tuesday rolls around, no iPad. I call customer support and they say that it will now arrive Wednesday but they can't be sure because they don't speak to the warehouse and they can't tell when it's being shipped out. What are they there for??? I asked the same question. They asked me if I wanted a credit I said no I want my iPad. So they credit me the expedited shipping. So now, today is Wednesday, no iPad, no answers and lo and behold full credit in my account. What a waste of time and effort. Today I received an email telling me my order was canceled and refunded. Went to the website and the items are now listed at a significantly higher price. I was granted credit, $4,000 to be exact. I used only $800 and it was Christmas presents for my grand kids, and I was happy I found what they wanted so I ordered, then I get an e-mail saying it was all cancelled! I contacted Overstock and they tell me "loss prevention" does not have all the info they need from me to complete my purchase. I've never in life had a problem with credit or paying my bills. Loss prevention can go suck an egg! I'll happily take my business and excellent credit elsewhere.

I ordered two items from Overstock. One was a transition coat for the fall and the other was a 3-in-1 coat. Let's start with the transition coat. What I saw online was a chic, stylish belted transition jacket for a very good price. I was so excited to receive the package. All of my excitement quickly disappeared when I opened the package and was greeted by some of the lowest quality material I have ever seen used for outerwear. Additionally, the collar (which appeared stylishly large online) were about the length of a suit jacket. Finally, there are no pockets. No pockets on a fall jacket.
The second item was a 3-in-1 coat. I wish I could share more about this item, but I never received it. I did receive an email stating it had been delivered. Given that the first item (which had been purchased at the same time as the first) arrived at my house, I am not sure why the second item was sent to a FedEx pickup location. A location with an address I never received, so I have no clue where it is. Yea. Overstock will never get my money again. Shopper beware!

I just purchased drapes from Overstock.com and received them as expected. What I didn't expect is that one of their employees stole my credit card information and attempted two purchases immediately thereafter. I notice by this site that the very last review was for the very same reason. Again, it must be a practice of their because that person has almost the same amount stolen. Good thing is that I have an amazing credit card company that picked this up immediately and stopped the purchases. I am going to blast this every place that I can possibly run across that this company employs thieves or perhaps that is their business model where they make the most money. I am disgusted and will pursue if there is anything further that I can do to make sure this doesn't happen to others. I may not be able... but I can sure make others are aware. Shame on you Overstock.com... THIEVES!!!

The boots I ordered came in and from the outside it looked great, but it barely had a insole. It came detached from the sole. I had to put it in to cover the plasticky heel's hole. It was not comfortable when I tried it on. I thought for the price of $48 these would be a decent investment, but get this - I get the worse quality shoes and I have to pay $11 for shipping. I somehow, didn't pay for shipping when they try to sell it to me. But, for returns they either deduct it from your return or you have to pay when you ship it back. This was such a waste of time. Oh did I mention, the day I bought something on this website 3 hours later, my visa card was compromised. I had my physical card, but somebody had accessed my account (debit) from somewhere and spend $200. I am gonna make sure this gets to people.

My girlfriend ordered a memory foam topper from Overstock.com that was advertised as a 2 inch, queen-size, 3 lb. foam topper. When it arrived I suspected immediately that there was something wrong because the box was much lighter than it should have been. A memory foam topper of this size and density should weigh around 16 pounds, but when we weighed the box it was just over 11 pounds. After doing the calculations we determined this topper was made with 2 lb. foam, not the 3 lb. that was advertised. Lighter density foam has a completely different feel and doesn't last as long as foam that is more dense.
Without opening the box, my girlfriend called Overstock to complain. The customer service agent said she'd send a return label and would have them send the correct topper, so we thought the problem was resolved. We sent the topper back and waited for the new one to arrive. After waiting a week with no shipping notification or any other contact at all, my girlfriend called again to find out what was happening. The agent checked and said they had plenty of those 3 lb. toppers in stock so it should be sent out in a day or two. So we waited. Then a day or two later my girlfriend was notified by e-mail that they were out of stock on the 3 lb. memory foam toppers and were cancelling her order and refunding her money.
My belief is that they are cheating people by promising one thing and sending another, knowing that most people would never realize they were being cheated. But they knew we were going to weigh anything they sent us so they canceled the order. What else could explain them doing that when they had plenty of these in stock, or could have? Overstock.com has just lost two customers - FOREVER. The reason we knew to weigh the box was because of a previous experience with Overstock. I had ordered a 4 lb. memory foam topper a few years ago for myself, but when it arrived I suspected it was not 4 lb. foam because I had another 4 lb. topper and knew what that density felt like. I kept it anyway, but it always bothered me. After this experience, I went home and weighed that topper and discovered it was just under 3 lbs. density.
To see if you are getting screwed on memory foam, do the math. If it is advertised as 3 lb. foam, that means each cubic foot of the foam should weigh 3 lbs. So you figure out how many cubic feet of foam your topper consists of, multiply that by whatever density they advertise it as, and that's what the entire topper should weigh. Example: A 2 inch queen topper has 2x60x80 inches of volume, which works out to 9,600 cubic inches. To find out how many cubic feet that is, divide it by the number of cubic inches in one cubic foot (12x12x12 = 1,728) So 9,600/1,728 = 5.55 cubic feet. A 3 lb. density topper of this size should weigh 3 x 5.55 = 16.66 pounds.
Note that sometimes they sell toppers that are a couple of inches shorter in length and width than the standard sizes for king, queen or whatever. The rationale they use is that it makes it easier to get sheets on that way. Conveniently, it also means they get to use less foam in making that topper but still sell it as a queen, king or whatever size it's meant to fit. But that's ok, as long as they tell you that upfront and you can decide to accept it or not. If this is the case be sure to use those shorter dimensions in your calculations.

I purchased a 7 piece dining set and after 2 weeks of waiting for this to be delivered it arrived on a Monday with damage to the table. I called Overstock within an hour after delivery and was told they will get in touch with the dept that handles the large freight pickups and someone would contact me within a day to arrange pickup. I called again on Wednesday only to be told the same thing and that it takes 5 days to arrange pickup. I called again on Saturday and spoke to a gentleman who said his name was Johannas. He informed me that there was no notation that anyone has been contacted as if yet and that he wishes I would have called sooner!!!
I advised him this is the THIRD time I have called, that I want this damaged furniture picked up ASAP that is taking up my garage space and I want my 900.00 refunded! He said that "there is nobody in that department today, but will have it addressed Monday morning." I am livid at this point. I will be calling first thing Monday morning and if needed will contact the freight company that delivered it to me in the first place! NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM OVERSTOCK.COM.

I ordered a very expensive vinyl record for my husband's birthday. When it arrived it was some random DVD. I contacted their "award winning customers service" and instead of explaining what went wrong they just initiated the return process. I told them I didn't want a return - I wanted my item I ordered. They told me that item is not available and to return the incorrect item they sent, and I would get my money back. No apology, nothing! Then to top it off, they said if I don't send the item back in the timeframe they gave me I would be held responsible for the item and I would have to pay for it!!! I send the item back, and track it. It says they received the item the next day. A week goes by and still my money has not been returned. So, I contact them again. They tell me I should see my money within 2 days... Well here we are 3 days later and still I have not received my money. This website is a total scam!

I shopped for months for a replacement wedding ring when mine was lost - decided on a white gold and sapphire ring and what arrived was Rose Gold and Sapphire - my heart sank. As I checked my receipt to confirm my choices somehow when doing the drop down menu I had errantly selected Rose Gold. I immediately called Overstock.com returns but due to the high value of the item it had to go to a special team for return processing, this was 4 pm on a Friday and that team, of course, was out of the office till Monday.
I was a little frustrated and disappointed. The rep was very understanding. I told him I was sure I had selected the white gold and was really confused about how it all got mixed up. He gave me a $50 store credit for the trouble I was experiencing. Over the weekend I looked around online to check out reviews on returns and this site had me very concerned at the negative experiences everyone had posted in dealing with returns/exchanges with O.com. Additionally the cost of my ring had gone up $600 since the labor day sales were over so my fear was they either would make it such a hassle to return or charge me the difference and not honor the return since I had somehow mistakenly selected Rose Gold.
My experience couldn't have been better. The rep who called me first thing Monday morning discussed the whole process, I was responsible for shipping the ring back for the exchange. I paid for overnight shipping to try to expedite the processing as we were leaving town and I wanted my new ring for an event. The rep gave me her work email so I could send her the tracking number so she could keep an eye on when it was checked in to the return dock and try to facilitate a quicker check in process for the returned ring. She called me to let me know they had it, then called me again when the exchanged ring shipped and they arranged expediting shipping for no extra cost to me. I had very low expectations based on some of the reviews but I have to say their customer service on this experience was way beyond what I would have expected. I will gladly continue to do business with Overstock.com.

After reading through the reviews of Overstock on ConsumerAffairs... it looks like I am not the only one having the same, exact problem. I ordered 20 cases of tile for my new home. Lined up workers to install the tile based on the shipping estimates I received both when ordering and on the tracking information provided. The tile was ordered on September 1st in the AM. Every single day the next week I contacted the "award winning customer support" of Overstock as it looks like it was delayed on the tracking website. At first, I was told I would still arrive within the 3-6 business day shipping window. On Friday, however, I was told it was delayed and would show up within 1-4 weeks (!!).
I emailed again (third time) and was told I would receive a callback within 24 hours (again from the award winning Overstock customer support). Never heard. Reached out again today and was told 1-4 weeks again, and that I would be contacted by a manager within 24 hours (I've been told this four times now). Meanwhile my workers are standing by being paid by me, my foyer's old tile has been ripped up and we are schedule to move in this Friday. At this rate, I cannot imagine that happening. No idea when my tile is showing up. I get a different answer every time I reach out to customer support. I've now taken my business elsewhere for my other home purchases (5 orders last week alone).

If you are trying to buy furniture... Don't come to this store. They will rip you off. I went to buy a bedrooms set for my daughter. I made the purchase. Everything was ok... till time to pick up my stuff. They told me I could pick it up the following weekend. All that was fine. My nightmare start when I called them to let them know I was on my way to pick up. They told me items were not at store... That sucks cause I lost 8 hours of work... So I was so piss off and tried to cancel my order so they said it would be 30% charge for return... My purchase was almost $900 dollars. It's like giving away $270. For nothing. Ordering ceramic wall tiles from Overstock.com has been the most frustrating, infuriating and nerve-wracking shopping experiences I've had to endure in recent years. I placed an order for 9 boxes of ceramic tiles on Overstock.com on 8/10/16 and as I write this, 28 days later, I still haven't received my shipment. Overstock is unable to locate my shipment, give me an estimate of arrival, and will not allow me to cancel the order. I am stuck in Overstock hell. I have two top complaints:
1) The shipping information listed on Overstock's product page is deceptive and misleads customers into believing they can get their order of tiles within 6 business days. Overstock over-promises delivery timeframes that they are unable to honor. 2) Overstock.com and MXD Group (Overstock's freight carrier of choice) are unable to accurately locate my shipment or provide me an accurate estimate for delivery of the tiles. I would add that MXD Group is likely the most incompetent, unreliable and all around useless delivery company I have ever encountered. No one at MXD Group is able to tell me where their truck is. Every call to MXD customer service seems to get a different answer. My most recent call got the unhelpful explanation that "the shipment is somewhere between Illinois and Los Angeles".
The details: In total, I purchased 9 cases of 25 tiles each. I placed the order on 8/10/16 trusting that it would be delivered within 6 business days according to the delivery estimate provided by Overstock.com at checkout. Overstock's product page offers four shipping options ranging from free Standard Shipping with delivery within 6 business days, to Express Shipping (for $49.59) with delivery within 1-3 business days. I chose the free Standard Shipping option.
The fine print, conveniently hidden under a "show more" button at the bottom of the page, warned that orders over 300 lbs would ship via freight carrier with longer shipping timeframes. I needed the order by the end of August and was determined to avoid risking slower freight shipping. So, I researched the product online and confirmed that each case of 25 tiles weighs 28.6 lbs (258 lbs for an order of 9 small boxes). I was confident that since the weight was below the 300 lbs limit set by Overstock for freight shipping, it would not be shipped by freight and I'd receive the tiles within a week or so.
However, in spite of my order being below 300 lbs, Overstock shipped it by freight anyway, breaking their own policy as stated online. As I write this review, 28 days after placing the order, I have still not received the tiles. Worse yet, no one can tell me with any degree of certainty the exact location of my shipment or when it will be delivered. Overstock.com says that's "how it goes" with freight shipments.
Both Overstock.com and their hopeless shipping partner MXD Group are unable to track the shipment or provide me with an estimate of arrival. It is an absolute disaster and I regret having ordered from Overstock. This holdup has cost me several hundred dollars in contractor fees and related expenses due to the delay and the need to reschedule the work, much more than the few dollars I looked to save by ordering from Overstock.com. Finally, I would like to cancel the order and place it with another online retailer. But Overstock will not allow me to cancel it since it's shipped. I am stuck in Overstock hell. A word of advice: stay away from Overstock.com. Consider other online options like Wayfair and Amazon Prime.

I had ordered few pieces of quite expensive jewelry that I wanted to give to my daughter's birthday. I ordered two pieces under the same order and two in different orders. When I started to initiated returns for the pieces I did not like (given that we cannot see the items in person, I wanted to make sure I will like at least one item from the ones I ordered), I came to learn that not only the returns are not free, but I have to ship every item in separate shipping with corresponding insurance. Of course, it was my mistake of not checking out their returning policy but honest to God, I wasn't even thinking that a company like Overstock.com will be asking consumers to pay for returns.
Lesson learn and I thought I will be more careful in the future. So I initiated returns but oh boy, it takes such a long time for them to approve your return. They sent million questions before finally sending the needed RMA number without which you cannot send the item back. I also called few times, as soon as the representative get to know that you are returning expensive jewelry, she speaks to you like you are a criminal. I initiated return on August 26, 2016, today is September 1, 2016 and I am still waiting for that RMA# -meanwhile, they charged me of course. So, never ever again, I will be ordering again from Overstock.com and advise all consumers to think twice before you place an order from them.

I ordered a 8x10 yellow over-dyed wool rug for $390. Received a 11x7 bleached jute rug that looks and smells like hay. Called customer service. They apologized and instructed me to schedule a return pickup with UPS. Called UPS. They do not schedule pick ups. (They make 3 unscheduled attempts.) No Saturday pick ups. I am unable to take a day off work to schedule a rug return. I can't leave the rug outside, I live in the Bronx. Called Overstock, and they suggested that I take the rug on the subway (about 8 miles away) to bring it to UPS for return shipping. An 11 foot rug on the subway? Overstock said there is nothing they can do. So now I am stuck with an ugly hay rug and out $390. This company is awful.

In the past month, I had to return 4 sewing machines because they were defective. I purchased 2 years ago a brand new sewing machine, so it said, but when I turned it upside down I saw the label manufacturer refurbished. The customer service is polite, but adheres to the lack of honest business.

I ordered a couch from Overstock. It took several weeks to ship it to Las Vegas, where I live, and once it arrived the shipping company dropped it off with Capitol North America for final delivery. I called Capitol and left voicemails for "Tracy" on multiple occasions; she finally called me back several days later. The purpose of Capitol's involvement, according to Overstock, is to inspect the product, but given the fact my couch contained tears and stains, it clearly didn't occur. The delivery was supposed to take place between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., and I was to be contacted 30 minutes in advance so I could leave work; the drivers showed up unannounced at 11 a.m. They eventually returned at 12 p.m. and dumped my couch in the lobby of my condo building and left.
Apparently Overstock believes delivering a product like a couch to your front door (or even inside your home) warrants an additional charge. It's bad enough their shipping company doesn't deliver on weekends; indeed, they don't really deliver at all unless you pay them extra. The assembly instructions were for a different product, and the screws provided to assemble the legs were cheap and frequently broke. I finally had to call a handyman with some advanced power tools to install the legs. There is a tear in the leather on the bottom and a stain on one of the cushions; I notified Overstock of these problems, and they are completely indifferent.

As have others, I opened up an Overstock.com credit card. First order: Denied. Simply cancelled. Calling to inquire why, I was subjected to a host of questions, none of which were pertinent to an order. I was told the order would ship. It did, then was hijacked in transit by Overstock recalling the package. Repeatedly calling their "overzealous" loss prevention department, could not rectify the order. I gave up and cancelled. Also cancelled the credit card as well.
Weeks later I receive a $20 gift card for their website and figure I will buy something innocuous just to use the card up. Well, scama-lama-ding-dong, they refuse ANY orders from me. I'm like WTF? So I ask for them to just refund me the gift card - as they absorb the card as "store credit" when you enter it. Overstock refuses to refund or return that $20 gift card. Unbelievable. Do yourself a favor: Stay way, way away from Overstock.com

Overstock.com will take no responsibility for it. Mike, one of the managers over the phone at Overstock, says it is not their problem if I did not keep the box and I cannot return it. Overstock.com has no boxes and WILL NOT help in any way. Knowing my mother is in a care facility and giving absolutely no true guidance shows what type of company it is. NEVER AGAIN will I but anything from them..

On July 2 I ordered a couch. On July 11 the freight company Ceva Logistics, called me to schedule delivery. On July 15, I waited around for 4 hours only to have them not show up. Rebound two begins with a delivery of a damaged couch - the front of the frame literally broke in two pieces. It takes weeks to arrange a pick up of the broken couch and finally, the day comes. They send ONE guy who tells me he can't take the broken couch by himself. Aaaauurgh! I'm never getting rid of this monster!

Recently purchased a memory gel foam mattress topper for our king size bed. Saw a topper in the category I was interested in for a reduced price stating sold as is, no refunds/returns. I should have followed my instinct and not went with it, but thought if is had a tear in the cover or maybe had been used a few nights by someone else who returned it, it wouldn't be a big deal. Topper came two days after order and I was appalled at it. It was advertised with poly silk cover which was NOT included, but the worst of it was, the mattress had a huge tear drop hole (1 1/2' x 2 1/2') upper right side 1/3 the way down! OMG! I felt this order was completely unusable for our king bed, who wants to lay in a hole? They should have listed the damages, and/or picture. It could be cut down to a full size bed or twin, but it is NOT usable for our king bed.
I called customer service to only have them read their disclaimer notice of possible problems/damages to "as is" products and to say they were unwilling to do anything about this mattress topper even though it was completely unusable. Customer service referred me to a website to send my complaint and picture, I am doubtful after reading all the reviews here that they will make any kind of refund or discount. I do not have money to throw away, but that is what I have just done. If they were to actually put a picture on website of the "as is" merchandise, they probably wouldn't have too many takers. This is deceitful and I will not buy from them again and that is why I sharing my experience to warn everyone else.

Poor return policy. Items purchased through 3rd party which wasn't helpful. I purchased a gas fire pit. I was unable to ignite the first time, then difficult again second time. By third time I realized it was a defective item. It was 40 days after purchase and I had no container to return it in. I was finally given a shipping label and money back if I could package it. Somehow we got it to UPS and money ultimately returned but will never deal with Overstock again. Nor should anyone!!

I used this website many times without any problem, UNTIL I made a return. I ordered a marble tray several weeks ago and mistakenly got a big ugly wall mounted rack. I contacted the customer service immediately and they emailed me a UPS return label. I put this all behind me thinking I would get a refund in no time. BIG MISTAKE. Today, I checked the UPS status, I got this message "The receiver does not want the product and refused the delivery." It was their mistake in the first place and now they are refusing the return??? This makes no sense at all. I contacted customer service again and the rep say they would forward this issue to the return department. I wonder what their solution could be? Wait until the package shipped back to me and offer me another return label? I am just glad it's only $35 at stake here, I would never ever purchase from this company again.

Item was sent with rusted chrome legs, company said they would send replacement part. When it arrived they sent a piece of wood. I have reached out to the company 3 times via phone and sent 2 emails to get the correct part or a full refund. They keep telling me they will need to send this to warehouse for review and they will contact me within 24 hours with tracking information. 3 days later no call or email. So contacted company again and they said my order is sitting in a queue. They also said "I see you need part F" which is still the wrong part. I needed part S. So I am still waiting for chrome legs to show up so I can use the table or for them to send someone to pick it up. They will not issue me refund but will give me $45 of in store credit for my troubles. Would never order from them again so don't want the store credit. Table was over $200.

I'll never order from Overstock again. They are refusing to honor their own credit card even though I have ample credit available because they have issues with the items I chose to order (a bed and an order with multiple DVDs that I wanted to give as gifts at Christmas). I spoke to loss prevention about it and when I asked questions "Phil" hung up on me. What's the point of having available credit if I'm not allowed to use it on their website? If the bank approved me, and my account is in good standing, then that should be the end of it. I am furious.

My husband and I have both contacted Overstock on multiple occasions, only to be informed that an agent that handles these types of issues would contact us back in 2 day span - this happened 3 times. We purchased a Mountain Ridge Sauna and it will only heat up to 105 degrees, it was supposed to heat up to 140 degrees. We purchased this for medical reasons. Also, it took 4 weeks for the delivery from Overstock. Overstock said this sauna had a 5-year warranty.
Overstock gave us the company phone # and we called during their supposed business hours - multiple times - unreachable. I called Overstock back, and they said we would need to talk to someone named Justin (the VM message sounded like it was from a different company for Pool Service) and the voicemail messages we left we never answered. Mountain Ridge Sauna has no company phone # that is answered and they do not have any E-mail address for this company.
I put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but so far they have not been able to reach this company either. All I wanted was our sauna to work as the sales information stated - but our requests for assistance have been ignored. I am so disappointed with both Overstock and Mountain Ridge Saunas. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT BUY A MOUNTAIN RIDGE SAUNA OR PURCHASE FROM OVERSTOCK. And if you do buy a sauna - try and get in touch with the company beforehand... I wish I would have tried. Their warranty is invalid as far as I am concerned because they are unreachable.

I ordered from Overstock.com in the past and had a few minor complaints about items not as described, but the old adage "you get what you pay for" applied and the shipping charges were a small flat fee. However, when I look at items and products on their website now, I am disappointed in the accelerated prices. I would rather buy from another online store and pay the same price... I know when I order from other stores I will get what I ordered in size, color, etc. You do not always get that promise with Overstock.com.

A week ago I ordered a 4" four-pound density mattress topper described as "Serta Ultimate 4-inch Visco Memory Foam Mattress Topper." What I received is an ordinary piece of cheap foam. There is no packing slip showing what was shipped and no marking on the topper. When I called to return they first said if I opened the package it cannot be returned. When I suggested that that would amount to fraud they agreed to make a one-time exception but I have to pay the return shipping. This is a $169.99 item and I have to pay $18 to ship it back not because I don't like it but because it is not what is described in their product listing and what I paid for. Just a complete different item.
Overstock should know what they sent. The item should have a model number tag on it. If the seller has no record of what they shipped and there are no product identification markings on the mattress, how is the buyer going to be able to prove anything? Additionally, how many consumers will know what is in the box without opening it? They could be shipping hay and charging for gold. How does the merchant expect the buyer to know if they got the right product without opening the package? If anyone from Overstock.com wants to explain this I am listening. Otherwise it is stupid policy and nothing but a cover to hide behind bad business practices. However, selling gold and shipping bricks is a thing of the past. All overstock.com customers please take note.

My Wonderful New Area Rug -- After some 20 years of hard service, my family room furniture needed replacing. We bought two nice reclining chairs for the two-legged family members and a Wonderfully soft area rug for the four-legged family members. Making a choice between all the wonderful Carolina Weavers rugs was difficult. I wish I could have used several. Since the rug has been down, my husband and both of the dogs choose it to lay on. The pile is unbelievably deep but it vacuums like a dream. I am sure it will give us many years of service.

I made a mistake in the order and tried to return the merchandise. I agreed to pay shipping and restocking fees. This company refused to take the return although the merchandise was in the original cellophane-wrapped package, totally unopened. Their "advertised easy return policy" is a scam!

This will be the last time I shop at Overstock. I was very excited to order this beautiful headboard but be warned! If your item says "low stock" it most likely is "Out of Stock". I never received my order and that it had not even been shipped! I contacted customer service several times getting the runaround (by saying "We will contact our warehouse or carrier, please allow 1-2 days" or "We will email you in 1-2 days for response"). Luckily I paid with PayPal and finally just told them I would file a claim with PayPal and they issued a refund. If they had told me in the beginning there would be a stock or shipping issue I would asked for a refund and shopped for another headboard on Overstock, but after this experience I will never shop on this site again. Buyer be warned, buy elsewhere!

My wife ordered some things for our bathroom in our new house from Overstock.com!! I had already got things for this bathroom and she and I liked what I got better than what she ordered!! Contacted them for return labels four weeks in a row!! Nothing!! When return labels came (finally) they came past a payment date and we were charged a late charge!! Would you make a payment on something you're returning because they won't send you return labels!! The original cost of the items was around $249.00!! Their fees for returning it was $219.00 plus the late fee that was their fault!! Don't buy anything from these idiots!!

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this transaction and ALL of the mistakes by your company. This should have been a simple and easy purchase for my daughter and her husband for their soon to be born child. Instead it has been stressful for both myself as well as my daughter (who is very very pregnant and about to have a baby any day now)!
First the purchased item, a crib mattress, was supposed to be delivered directly to her home (in COLORADO) by June 13. On June 10th I received an email confirming the mattress was delivered to someone in MAINE! I called Overstock to find out what in the world had happened and was expecting for the person on the other end of the phone to rectify the mistake immediately. Unfortunately the CSR informed me that there would have to be a trace set into motion to locate and recover the mattress that they sent to the wrong state... WHAT??? So Overstock sends my purchase to a home several states away and I have to wait until your company recovers their loss? I tell the CSR that "This is a horrendous policy that needs to be rectified immediately!"
So the CSR tells me that he will go ahead and send out a new mattress to my daughter (as a favor) instead of waiting for the other mattress to be found. Wow ok, so of course Overstock will do the right thing and expedite the shipping right? NOPE!! He could only REQUEST expedited shipping and there were no guarantees that Overstock would send it expedited. Again, so Overstock royally screws up my shipment and then makes me feel like they are doing me a favor by sending the purchased item whenever they get to it? My blood was boiling at this point.
Well the mistakes and incompetence don't stop there! We were so excited when the mattress was delivered on Tuesday June 14th... albeit 4 days after originally promised. One would think that all should be great and everyone should be happy and this transaction should be complete, right? NOPE! A second mattress was delivered Wednesday June 15th. WHAT IN THE WORLD OVERSTOCK?
So today I receive an email from you stating that we need to be inconvenienced once more by Overstock's incompetence. You would like my extremely pregnant daughter to figure out how to print a return label and return a HUGE item to you? How would you like her to do this? Oh and the threat in your email to your loyal customer was just the icing on the cake.
I have shopped online THOUSANDS of times at other websites and I have never had an item sent to the wrong address... Let alone had an item sent to a wrong address and then had a CSR make me feel like I had to suffer for the company's mistakes. I will continue to shop at online companies that offer AMAZING customer service, two day free shipping and even 1 day free shipping. Way to make your customer jump through hoops for all of your incompetence Overstock!
