The online chat option for many businesses is a great and fast alternative to waiting for phones to be answered by CSR's. In the case of Overstock, the online chats are a complete waste of time. The online CSR's have absolutely no ability to problem solve and their most common response is "The Department" will get back to you within a prescribed number of business days... and then you never hear from anyone. Phone their customer service department. There is almost no wait and their people are truly helpful.

I order a cam (Full 1080P USB Charger Camera - 32G / US) from them online from them, been 12 days I never heard anything from them, hard to get in touch with them. Called PAYPAL to resolve the issue, Now I have a case with PayPal. It is disgusting to have to deal with all that. I will never deal with them, or recommend them to anyone... Be advised...

I ordered this $200 3 tier table and it was damaged!! It was more than just a little scratch. 2 different pieces had gouges in the wood and not repairable!! I will never order from the company again and will not recommend them to anyone.

I ordered 1 item with a good price, after 5 days they canceled due to out of stock, 2 days later they offer same item with different title with almost %50 higher price. So disappointed. They even didn't keep their word, because the agent told me I can get with same price, when available. But they don't. So bad experience with this website.

I've ordered many things from Overstock over the years and have been pleased with much of what I order. Unfortunately, sales reps who know little to nothing about the products and incomplete and inaccurate descriptions have frustrated me and prevented me from ordering more often from this company. I can't count how many products have the description mixed up with some other product or are simply just extremely incomplete. It's like they don't have anyone checking for mistakes and are inputting the information in without checking to see if they made a mistake. When I try to find out something simple that is left of the dimensions or specifications, the sales rep on chat or email knows nothing about the product and can only regurgitate what is already stated on the page. I'm sure there are thousands of dollars of things I have skipped buying on Overstock over the years. I'm wondering if they'll ever get their act together.

On December 17, I attempted to purchase a dining set using Bitcoin. At checkout, Overstock allows 15 minutes for the payment to process. The problem started when my order timed out before my payment was processed. Shortly after the order timed out, the payment was processed. Now I'm out $140 worth of Bitcoin and no order. Overstock say support claims they refunded the payment shortly after to an address that is not associated with my wallet. I never asked for a refund and the funds are not in my wallet. I have been contacting customer service for almost 3 weeks and Overstock refuses to send me the dining set.

My fiancé and I ordered an engagement ring through Overstock. We decided not to order the ring due to the inability of seeing and confirming the quality of this ring. We were sent an email stating, "You must confirm your order within 2 business days for this order to proceed." We NEVER confirmed the order and we checked my bank statement and no monies were processed from my account. We then went on vacation. Upon our return, I checked my bank account and voila...$1400 pulled from my account. No email regarding shipment, ordered processed or anything regarding the ring. I contacted Overstock and asked why they proceeded with the processing of the money when no confirmation was given by me. Their answer, "We determined your account was valid."

On December 19th, I placed an order for a marble bathroom vanity. It arrived little over a week later with defective marble. The marble countertop had black stains which were unacceptable. I contacted customer service about the issue and they picked up the defective vanity and shipped another one. I received the second vanity and to my surprise, the vanity had a chunk of the corner broken and missing. I contacted the customer service again, but this time I could not wait for another week for them to send me the third vanity as my bathroom remodel already missed its deadline of 3 weeks.

Ordered something on December 14 and was guaranteed delivery by Christmas, Delivery came December 30! I called and could hear his TV being played on his line while I was talking to this customer service agent from overstock.com! He first offered me 10% coupon and then I told him that I have an email offer from his company for 15% off next order! He put me on a 5 minute hold and then told me he would credit my account back $10! What a joke!!! I will never buy from this company again!

Overstock customer service lied to me. They charged me twice the amount quoted to process a return. So now they have the item back, but I paid for it anyway. They seemed so nice and competent on the phone, and it was just a big scam. I was looking at a certain size rug, and it was out of stock. Then I got an email saying "Here's the rug you wanted". So I ordered it right away before their sale expired. I did not notice they were presenting me with a rug 4 feet longer. After the order went through I realized the mistake and called to cancel about a hour later. I was told I was too late, it had already shipped. Lie #1. When I returned the rug, they charged me double the return shipping costs - not what I was told by customer service on the phone.

I placed an order on December 21st, 2017 for a tablet. It's suppose to be a Christmas gift for my 2 year old son, but I ordered last minute thinking I'd be getting it the 26th of December with just standard shipping (Which I was okay with) and that being the estimated delivery date. But when I kept checking my Overstock account I saw that it was getting closer to the destination in a mere few days and I was pretty shocked,

I ordered a bedding set on 12/03/2017 as a Christmas gift but was given the runaround about the tracking information. I first contacted them because the order showed “processing” longer than expected and this concerned me. Once it finally showed “shipped” I never received tracking information. I contacted them 2 times about getting tracking information and was told it was the carrier’s fault that there was no info and they would research this and contact me. They never followed through.

I got a call stating a date and time window they would deliver. I took time off of work to be there to receive it. The never showed up. The showed up 2 days later while I was at work. Talked OS and they said they would work on getting it to me the next day. I told them I was around till noon then will not be around for a month. Again it never showed up. I called OS and they told me that it takes time for an order to arrive. I again repeated myself stating they told me when it would be here. I took time off from work because they told me a time and date. I asked them to cancel the order. They said they would with a stocking fee. So they cost me time away from work but they want to get paid for their mistake. Do they expect me to just keep sitting home and waiting for a package that comes whenever they want. They give notice and don't stand by it. Will not do business with them again.

I order a 18k white gold necklaces. It Saids 18 inches so when I received it on December 20th wore a gloves to inspected and it was not 18 inches. It looks like 15 inches. I not a big guy but it feels more like a ring than a necklace so I called right away and got Stephanie helped me but she said since this is a big amount of purchase she needs to let the jewelry department knows about my return and someone will contacting me. OVERSTOCK seems only can handle a big purchase but didn't make it easy to return stuff. I ALSO appraised to necklace 18 inches white gold from Pandora on the web. It advertised MRSP 2 thousand something but it only worth $550 and they charged me $750 and it took forever to receive it. I will not buy with Overstock again. I NEVER have problems return stuff because I don't abused the item and return it. GOOD DAY.

Ordered a desk for my 9 yr old daughter for Christmas from Overstock... First order got canceled by Overstock. When I noticed it was past due to arrive I got a email that it had been cancelled... Overstock then said they would resend it but werent going to give me the first time discount that I had on ordered that had been cancelled. Then said I'd have to pay $100 to make sure it got there in time or chance it coming on expected arrival date. When she entered order she realized there was no way to get it to me unless it was expedited. So the company said they would pay since it was their fault. So... I waited for the desk. Once again I noticed something was wrong with the tracking info. Days away from Xmas now and no desk. I call UPS. MY DESK IS IN FLA!!! It had the wrong address.

We placed an order on Dec 15. It did not get processed until Dec 18. We were told our order would not be delivered until Jan 3. Every time we checked the order, it stated PROCESSING. The listing page said delivery date was Dec 23 for free shipping. The agent said they would try to get it to us before Christmas??? We were told that we could not cancel or return a portion of the order. We ordered for them based in the delivery date. Very sad. We should have stuck with Amazon. They can give a delivery date and take items back.

I made a purchase at Overstock at a certain price. They short shipped it, canceled the order and then tried to charge me the full price when the item came back in stock. An honest merchant would honor the original price for an item that they were unable to ship.

I ordered 2 separate items: a large silver frame labradorite pendant and 30 inch silver necklace with two labradorite pendants. These were gifts to my wife for Xmas. The pendant they sent not only wasn't labradorite (it was some common pink and grayish stone - the opposite end of the color spectrum from iridescent green blue labradorite), it didn't even vaguely resemble the one I ordered in shape or size. And instead of the silver necklace with the two labradorite pendants, they sent one with pinkish stones or glass, which again, couldn't be farther from the stones I ordered.

I wrote a review earlier that I had not received my chair or any info on shipping that I ordered Dec 7, 2017. After the review, I received an email that they have found the chair and corrected the shipping info and I should get it in Birmingham, Al on Monday. This was my first order with them and I am happy to see that they resolved the issue. Thanks Overstock!

I bought a bed frame from Overstock, it was suppose to be on a six month no interest account. It was not, so I called Commodity Capital who told me it was not their problem, but the problem of Overstock, so I called them, and they told me the only way to resolve the problem was for me to return the bed and repurchase it on a zero interest account.

So I ordered a Serta Queen mattress off of Overstock.com and when it arrived I noticed it was very saggy and sagged particular more on one side than the other. I contacted Overstock and told them that the bed doesn’t match its description and is way too saggy and that I wanted to return it. They told me if it was found defective upon their “inspection” when it was returned they would reimburse me the return shipping cost. I told them that I definitely thought it was defective since it was sagging more on one side than the other. They charged me $90 for the return cost and told me that they didn’t find it defective.

When I was making a purchase, I received $4000 credit limit. Was told that I have 24 months interest free financing. Bill came, and I am being charged interest! When called, I was told that apparently not all purchases are eligible! Why wasn’t I told about that? I WAS told, however, by 3 Overstock employees, that it is definitely an interest free financing!!! Not worth buying from them. Now I have to pay $1000 more in interest!!! I could have purchased that stuff from the store for way less!!!

Contacted corporate headquarter in Utah, receptionist listened to my story then transferred me to a ceo; she was more sympathetic, I forwarded all my emails & pictures of my ordeal to prove it really happened. As soon as they were received she credited my account $100.00. I also mentioned that not 1 supervisor came on the phone to talk to me, they let customer service rep stand in the front line. Google ceo address then call and tell your story, if the bosses don't know what is wrong they cannot fix.

I ordered two Dream Tents on 6 October 2017 - I am still waiting for it to be delivered! It is now two months. I have been in touch two or three times. I received automatic replies allocating me a "ticket" number. The next day I received a personal response - expected delivery would be in less than 30 days/the order has been shipped and here's the tracking number - which did not work! The shipper had no record of my order. Useless! I need these for Christmas for my grandchildren but, I think I shall try to cancel my order: I'm doubtful whether that will be an easy exercise.

I've place an order with overstock 4 days ago which I haven't received yet! The chandelier I bought was for $299. Just yesterday the price dropped down to $224. I request a price match. They give all the wrong reasons which is unbelievable to a 6 years old kid for not to match the price or accept the return. They even want to charge me $40 if I ship the item back!! What else could go wrong!

I ordered a ring from them. I forgot about the order and was just looking to see when a current order was scheduled for delivered when I looked through my order history and noticed it. I contacted customer service and they refuse to offer a refund - said it's too late and that they can't track the package. TERRIBLE customer service! I will NEVER order from them again!

I ordered a Mohawk Outdoor Rug, they sent me an Mohawk Indoor only Carpet in an entirely different color completely FOUR times, even though I sent pictures of what I wanted and what they were sending. They did manage however, to charge me for the rug I wanted which was significantly more expensive then the carpet they kept sending me. Bait and switch perhaps? Now they have taken the stand that it is my fault and I must pay the return shipping charge of $20.00. Thank goodness I charged it and my credit card company backed out the charge.

I placed an order and received my confirmation email, so I never checked my email again for days and returned to find they had canceled my order for reasons they couldn't divulge - they said they attempted to contact me but couldn't get ahold of me. Their version of 'contacting' me was sending 1 email, no phone calls, despite having my phone #. I attempted to purchase the item again but no matter what credit card or information I used, NONE OF MY CARDS WORKED, I got an error message each time. During that time the item has sold out. I attempted to contact Live Chat and they couldn't help me - just referred me to Loss Prevention which by that time had closed.

HD Couture White Leather Counter top stools - Placed order online for 3 chairs on 11/21 hoping to get them right after Thanksgiving. I receive a notice of shipping on 11/21 with tracking information. No scheduled delivery date. I checked after Thanksgiving on UPS website stating label created. Checked for several days until 11/27. Called them. They said they will put a trace on package. It will take 1-2 business days to resolve. Called them on day 2 they said still no information. I called UPS myself and said package was never picked up, only label created. I called Overstock back. They said they would send replacement out on 11/29. I check status online on 11/30 and says cancelled. I called them and they say they are out of stock. I already filed a complaint with PayPal. I am sure it will be months to resolve. Stay away from this company. I would not buy another item from them.

I purchased a modestly priced sofa from Overstock in September. By November the left arm had become loose & partially detached. Roughly 6 weeks of moderate use & the couch is falling apart! I had family in town over Thanksgiving & we turned the couch upside down to see if it could be fixed only to find that it wasn’t coming loose but, was actually falling apart. I contacted Overstock & they told me because I was past the 30 day return policy I would need to contact the manufacturer directly & they would not help me. Poor customer service.

WOW, after 3 weeks I finally get my order, and it was supposed to be in two parcels, and I only received one. Customer service SUCKS, they're so slow. So mad, now I have to wait another 1-2 days for them to figure it out and another 3 weeks again on top of the 3 weeks I already waited to receive the second half of my table!!

They are always professional and always have outstanding customer service. Any problems I have are always resolved. Thank you. Always courteous. Very experienced representatives. Hands on. Always willing to help.

I placed an order from Overstock on Nov. 4. As of today 11/29 it has not shipped. I paid for standard shipping understanding it could take up to 12 days. I have tried to contact customer service but cannot get any response. My payment processed right away though.

I ordered 2 area rugs from OVERSTOCK.com. Both arrived nothing like the picture on their website. I spent 3 days trying to contact and send pictures to show them their mistake. They finally acknowledged that the rugs did not match the descriptions in any way and offered to take them back. BUT, an 8 x 10 wool rug is heavy and awkward. I had already destroyed the sleeve it came in. I am a Senior and unable to lift and roll a 65 pound rug. I had to hire help and purchase materials to return it. After about 20 emails (most were responded to with a boilerplate answer and never read, I had to hire someone to pack and ship them back. It was an awful experience. The mistake was entirely theirs... the responsibility was entirely mine. Do not, ever, do business with Overstock.com. The money you might save will be more than wasted if the rugs arrive, not as advertised. The worst customer service experience of my life!

Put item in cart. When I went to check out, I had trouble logging in. Then my coupon wasn't applied. After a while I finally decided to checkout as a visitor. To my surprise, the price went up! I started a chat. The chat guy said he saw a lower price than my cart (but higher than what I had earlier). Then, he said maybe not. I asked for a supervisor and it was long and slow getting one. Boring long story a little shorter... one hour after trying to check out and a long and totally unsatisfying chat later - including the guy oddly talking about future prices - my coupon did not apply and the price stayed high. Sigh.

I am done with this site and I haven't even received my sofa yet. I found out my sofa does not even come with cushions or a mattress for the daybed part it folds out to. I called the same day and tried to cancel it and the girl was putting me on hold every 2 minutes because she was unsure of the return policies at her own job. Finally she said there was nothing she can do. I did a live chat to see if I could get some better answers and the same thing happened again. No we can't help you at this time. Literally said they could cancel it at the warehouse since it has not been shipped out yet or left the warehouse and then said, oops nevermind we can't. Just so many wishy washy answers! This is going to be a longgg process before I get that money back. If I ever do...

I was charged $193.53 twice upon ordering. I had my bank refund one of the charges. I then have been charged another 2 times each month after September in October and now in November. I have still tried to contact Overstock directly because I figured this would be easy for them to fix. This last phone call I was told someone probably got my card and is ordering on another account. I asked to speak to finance department or fraud and I was told I should just cancel my card. That there wasn't a way for me to talk to billing and that there were no other charges. I'd never trust this company again. This was only my second order.

I ordered a gazebo that arrived damaged. The customer care representative assured that I would receive replacement parts. After a month it didn't happen and now I have to disassemble the gazebo to return it.

This seller has become almost exclusively a drop shipper. They are unable to address many problems for this reason. They are NOT selling out of their inventory, but rather that of multiple other sources and sites. Lots of luck.

My 1st Order with Overstock appeared promising. OMG was I ever wrong. BEWARE: buyers. Being a dissatisfied customer like myself, returning 80% of my order. Take Note there's no return labels, nor are you refunded for any shipping and handling fees. Most of my order wasn't totally clear or specific. Ex: if you're ordering a jogger suit, most immediately think warm. Ummm that wasn't my experience, I'd received more like summer suit set. Just sharing helpful info.

Bought a $750 sectional couch, received it in poor condition. Between missing parts and lots of holes in the fabric and foundation. Over 2 weeks of going back and forth and still trying to get it resolved. DONT SHOP HERE!

I bought 2 items. Both items came from vendors apparently, not Overstock. Therefore these items CANNOT be easily returned. I purchased a reconditioned desktop computer. It DOES NOT work. The technical support at JOY SYSTEMS only has limited hours. When I finally was able to reach a tech, they couldn't help me. Of course I can return it if I want to pay $45 shipping. Customer service at Overstock in effect said, "Too bad, nothing we can do about it." Well, I told them I'd be happy to do something like place my reviews where future buyers can be warned of their deceptive practices. Overstock Used to be a wonderful online shopping service. Just like Amazon and eBay, they use vendors and the consumer loses! BEWARE.

If I could give a 0 star review, I would in a heartbeat. I am very upset and appalled at how this company is ran. My mother tried purchasing a beautiful dainty wedding band for my upcoming wedding as a wedding gift two separate times, and the order was canceled both times. I called about 3 Times to ask about why it had been canceled and said that the billing address didn't match the card information, in which our end, we accidentally did put the shipping address instead of the correct billing address.

I attempted to cancel a weekend order (placed and cancelled 4 hours later on Sunday) and the Overstock Customer Specialist told me that nobody was in the Warehouse until Monday at 8 AM local... that my order would 'likely be cancelled because the warehouse people are tuned into weekend order cancellations on Monday AM"... they shipped the item anyway ($270+ in my cost). I believe that Overstock was intentionally deceptive in their return policy and operational execution of that policy. I WILL NEVER use Overstock.com again, and I would encourage every other potential customer of Overstock.com to rethink/reevaluate their decision to use Overstock.com. VERY VERY POOR customer service. Return policy is deliberately complex and deceptive.

Overstock.com does not allow ANY changes or cancellations to orders once you hit that "send" button so ordering errors are not allowed. Customer service (Nathan) said they called over to the warehouse to cancel my order, since it was not picked or shipped yet and since corrections are not allowed. They didn't cancel the order at all and the next day, I received an email stating the order shipped. I then emailed customer support again. They said they did speak with the customer service agent I spoke to the previous day (Nathan) and it was not cancelled so they will re-route the shipment. That didn't work either.

Beware when buying from this company. I moved into a newly developed townhome. I am the first person to ever live in here. I've been in my townhome for three months with no issues. I decided it was time to upgrade my bed and purchased a memory foam mattress from Overstock. For the first week I thought there was a mosquito in my room. I was going crazy looking for this flying vampire until I noticed that the bites didn't resemble that of a mosquito. Upon research they resembled that of bedbugs. So I inspected my mattress and come to find that's what I have.

I purchased an area rug from Overstock through eBay. The rug was improperly rolled and had deep, massive creases everywhere. After several weeks of work using a variety of methods most were gone, but several prominent creases remained & will require steaming. Despite several requests, Overstock would not do a partial refund to pay for the costs incurred to do so. They were slow to answer all emails to an unbelievable degree. Buyer beware.

Started last week, found a great patio set that was perfect for what I wanted. Purchased it. Website showed it was the last one left. After the purchase, website even said it was out of stock. 3 days later I get an email that my order has been cancelled because it's not available. I call customer service and they claim someone else must have also purchased it. So I wait and days later it shows back on the website again as being in stock and it lets me purchase it again. Guess what??!!! Yep, 2 days later my order is cancelled again!! And I understand that this happens a lot. What your warehouse has is not what's reflected on your website. Shame on you and your horrible business practice and how you treat customers.

I bought an 800 dollar sofa from Overstock and received it after 4 weeks. The comfort was terribly wrong. I immediately called to return it. They tried to charge me 200. It took two weeks to dispute this charge. I will never buy from Overstock.

I had a technical glitch viewing Overstock's website and wrote customer service, thinking I would just let them know and maybe get some troubleshooting. Bishop ** wrote me back to say that the technical department would contact me to help. After a few weeks, no one had gotten back to me, so I wrote again. Geoffrey ** wrote to say the tech department would be in touch. Again, weeks passed with nothing. I write a third time, explaining that I had written twice already and not once heard from a tech department rep. Peter ** wrote to say tech would be in touch soon. After weeks of silence, I wrote a fourth time, saying that something must be wrong with their customer service structure for this to happen and explaining that I still hadn't spoken with the tech department. I received an auto email saying my issue was resolved. Something is really broken here. Thank God I didn't order anything.

Purchased 2 rugs and 1 nonstick rug pad. After receiving in 3 shipments, the color was darker than pictured on the website, and I needed to return. I am having to pay 3 separate shipping fees to return totaling almost $45.00. The original purchase was approximately $150. Contacted them about this and was quoted their policy twice and then disconnected. Will definitely not purchase from this company again, when other companies are so easy to work with.

Got 12% off this first order of duvet and shams. Good thing cause it wasn't even worth the discounted price. Suppose to be a gorgeous, luxury set. It's very thin, cheap material, will never make it through a wash.

Price is usually unbeatable and I shop here quite often. It's an easy to use site and the items are great quality. It is easy to find what you are looking for and shipping is not pricey either. I bought a $150 jacket for $25 once, my sister also buys from this site quite often. I had a good experience and I would not change anything. I have shopped here over 10 times and so have other members in my family. I love the great deals and convenience is also a priority. I highly recommend this website.

What I personally like about Overstock.com is the continuous deals and promotions that Overstock runs all the time and the great deals on top notch items you cannot find anywhere else. They should run better deals on prices for shipping costs. Also, I would enjoy a little bit more of an entertaining and inviting website and it could be organized a little better for mobile phone use since the site lags a lot. Overstock has been great and everything I ordered came exactly as the description implied the item(s) would be. I received my items promptly and efficiently. I'm a very happy customer and will shop in Overstock again.

Bought a laptop. Arrived late and was defective. Sent it back with a tracking number proving it was returned and received. A week later and many, many emails, chats, more emails, etc, and I can't get my guaranteed refund. This is a total sham operation, run by foreign employees who don't know their butts from their elbows. Totally useless. Stay away.

I was very impressed the first time I shopped with Overstock.com. They have closeouts so the prices and shipping are usually very reasonable and they have different things than what you see in other online stores. But I’d like them to have more sizes of certain items but I suppose they have no control over what they get in inventory. Other than that, I had a very nice shopping experience.

I decided to visit Overstock.com's site after receiving a coupon code to get a large percentage off. I like that they have a wide selection of products. They have just about everything I need for my home at decent prices. Their website is extremely easy to navigate, well organized and it's easy to find. There are a lot of items I would buy from this site if they actually had free shipping. Their shipping times tend to vary as opposed to similar websites such as Amazon which guarantees me free 2 day shipping on most items. Also, I found that many of their prices were often lower at competitors' websites.

I like the way they designed their website. It is quick to use, secure and payment is also secure. Everything is in harmony and it's not confusing. I also like how they are always on stock and very good customer service. My overall experience with overstock is satisfactory. Everything was fast and easy. Easy to find the products I want and easy purchasing process. If I have questions, they are always there to help and they respond very quick so they don't waste my time. Good prices and good products.

After a recent $600+ purchase order of several items for my new office I needed to return a few (rare for me) so I logged onto my 'order' page which said I needed to contact customer service as the info was not retrievable. I did so and after 45 mins. had accomplished them sending me the labels to do so. I had to ask for all info line by line: 1) What is the cost of each return? 2) How does that get processed/paid for from my acct., 3) What if I do not use the label (do I still get charged), etc.

Their website is simple, easy to use and fast to load. They got good selection and good price on different home goods. Plus, they got sales all the time and have easy return polices. They offer free shipping on everything you buy and no limits. You can buy anything and have them deliver to your door. It has been a good experience so far.

I think that Overstock.com has very good discounts and there are quality and even luxury products! During TV watching, I enjoy browsing to see what deals I can find!! However, you never know what type or brand of products are going to be found. I understand that Overstock.com can't provide the deals by the Overstock bargains but I would love to see minimal consistent products offered. Other than that, the site is easy to understand and the search functionality also by with the navigation makes it easy to find items I am looking for or just browsing. I had a very good experience from searching for my product needed or just found during my search. I searched for a rug and there were tons of options available! I received the product in a timely manner unharmed!! The purchase process was easy and I did not have an issue with customer service!!

Overstock has quality products with great selections of different types of products with the best prices. They are also constantly adding new products and new technologies. The selection is amazing, almost too much sometimes, you had better allocate a considerable amount of time to do your shopping, because you can't do it fast. Sometimes there are so many options and it is not easy to decide where to shop, the website could do a better job of adding more categories to refine your selection process and improve the search function.

I like everything about Overstock.com. It had everything I was looking for and more, and it was all prices that were affordable. It was easy to navigate the site. Ordered June 27th comforter set for grandson's birthday July 7th. Was told it would ship in 2 days and recd before 5th. DID NOT SHIP. Told on the 30th everyone left early for long holiday July 4th weekend was told on the 3rd would ship the 5th and be received by the 7th that there were 77 in stock. Was told on the 5th they were having technical issues at the warehouse and could not give me a shipment date. MANY PHONE CALLS NUMEROUS CHATS AND STILL PROCESSING?? None of the representatives I have talked to can get a resolution just want my item. Was told on the 7th still processing 74 in stock now 10 days told to wait till Monday the 10th to see if it ships.

In the first week of May I ordered a leather sofa from Overstock and paid in full. The second week in May, Overstock delivered a damaged and opened sofa which I rejected and asked for a replacement. Someone at Overstock went in and canceled my order and canceled my O Club; they did not refund my money. I contacted Overstock and spoke with Jaime and Chandler and they said that they "would check on this" but never got back to me with a new order number for the sofa. I then called the "Executive Complaint" team and spoke with Brandon who found me another sofa and matched the price. Again, I paid in full for a replacement sofa after Paypal canceled the first order and refunded my money in response to a complaint I filed a complaint about Overstock.

I ordered a product on 6/16 and on 6/18 I looked up the tracking number and it said, "Invalid number.' I waited till 6/20 and checked again... same result. On 6/21 when I received the same invalid number I contacted Customer Service to find my package. That agent said they were embarrassed that this happened, they have contacted the warehouse and I should be getting a response today.

I had to call customer service just to find out where the driver was, by this time it was already 6pm. They then proceeded to advise me to have it rescheduled but they couldn't get me in the schedule until the following Monday between 1pm-5pm. You can read user reviews and ratings for products and they seem to have good customer service. However, some of their products don't have good description and have unclear or not enough pictures on them. It makes me uncertain to order online sometimes. I also worry about returning items if I don't like them. But the first time I ordered from them wasn't bad at all. It was fairly priced and the shipping was fast enough. I remembered ordering from them again and the experience was about the same. I don't have any problems with Overstock at all.

Overstock.com has great prices and nice quality items. I especially like the value of the bedding comforter sheets and other linens. Some of the furniture looks inviting and I am considering a specific couch on my next purchase. They should have more categories, clothing, more lines, better choices for outdoor patio including furniture and more garden items, candles and torches are always nice in gift packages for giving. The prices are usually good although sometimes appear not to be a great bargain. I've had a very good experience with them so far, and I have liked all the items I purchased. The bedding was of good quality and I feel I got a bargain.

I have been using this for years. It's easy to shop online and no hassles. I like Overstock.com's lower prices and shipping costs. Due to discontinued items, the prices are lower and it is easy to get heavier things shipped at a lower cost. They have fast shipping too. However, I don't like the cheaply or poorly made items that are usually discontinued items that stores can no longer sell. Also their credit card needs to be improved. Hard to get approved there. Very confusing.

I like Overstock because sometimes I find items that are sold out on the other websites that I use and it's easy to search for the items of interest. I also like that ordering is easy and my information isn't compromised like on the other sites. Also, I like how the pages are set up for viewing with text and pictures. Plus they have good deals and coupons. They are great for movies, cds, books, and stuff like that but they don't always have the item I am looking for. I collect action figures and wish that they had more available. They only have youngerish toys.

I ordered a watch with day, date, and time. Received watch 6/9. Watch was in mailing envelope wrapped in newspaper. No box, no directions. It doesn't keep accurate time. Day and date dials don't work at all. The only thing I can say is the watch still had its plastic covers on it. When I looked to see about returns, I find that is also a rip off. Overstock does not return your full refund. They give all kinds of excuses. Restocking fees. You pay for the return. You pay if you removed the wrapping. So I figure I just got ripped off $30.00. It's a good thing I never ordered furniture or a rug. The shipping return costs alone would kill ya. This isn't right to do business this way. And I am disappointed in a company that shipped this watch from Ohio. When their headquarters in Salt Lake is about 3 hrs away. And as far as saving money! There are other sites less expensive. By the way. I have no order number only a USPS tracking number.

Overstock is a good place to find a huge variety of things and most of them are at a great value. Sometimes there are very good sales as well. I like the selection, the categories, and the value on some items. But the product selection needs to be tweaked and increased in many popular categories. Also, better pricing in some areas. I see some things that are not even as cheap as an in-person purchase which should never happen. And maybe they could use more promotions. I've had no issues with them doing purchases, and the customer service is pretty good. Overall a quality experience.

It is a secure website that has a huge selection of everything. Any time you need anything or looking for hard to find items you will find it. I often shop for my home and for presents. I showed there last year for Christmas and most of my shopping was from Overstock.com. I do recommend it and I told my friends and family about it. I love the speed of making a purchase and that it goes smooth and haste free. Also delivery time is great. Always comes when it is supposed to come. However, sometimes items they don't have it in my size or not the colors I am looking for. But for home furnishings and their prices no complaints. Customer service is not very helpful or the site is down or too slow but overall it is absolutely amazing.

I like everything about overstock.com. It is a great website to buy things and I like shopping there. The free shipping is great and they have everything I need for my house. Everyone can find what they need there and it's fun and cheap. I really enjoyed myself and there is no reason to go anywhere else. I would do it again every chance I get.

I like the ability to purchase items in bulk or in multiple sets while saving money in doing so with coupons. Savings are sent directly to your email based on your profile and interests. But it would be better if I'm able to mix and match certain items to be able to get savings quota. Other than that, the product selection was very wide and easy to search and filter to find exactly what you were looking for, and the checkout process was self-explanatory and easy to follow. It's very easy to do business with Overstock.

My experience was pretty good. We bought a mattress, was easy to find what we were looking for and was affordable. The item was delivered on time. I like the variety. You can find all kind of items and every item also has its own variety of selection. I also like that you can find affordable items and usually free shipping in lots of them. Another good thing is the coupons they email me. But I did not like that they were not very clear when they offered us a protection plan for the mattress we bought. We thought we were getting some sort of extended warranty and it ended up being just a mattress cover. Total waste of money.
