    2 months late and they made me pay for shipping back to the third party seller. They brokered the deal, I paid for the item, the item was to take 2 weeks for delivery. They took 2 months and wouldn't let me return the partial delivery until the whole order was delivered.

    I recently purchased ~$10,000 in furnishings for my new home which included a $1,500 King mattress. Upon receiving the mattress, I lied down on it and realized that it was too tall for my platform and too soft for my liking. My request for a refund was rejected because Overstock.com policy states the following: "You will only qualify for a full refund for damaged or defective mattresses, mattress sets, or foundations if you refuse the item(s) at the time of delivery. If damage/defects are found after delivery, please notify us immediately." It is impossible to know that you will like furniture simply by viewing it on a website. Furniture is used in our living spaces and therefore, we can only know if it meets our needs if we "experience" it in our living space. Overstock.com fails to realize this important fact and therefore, I will never waste another dollar with them.

    Customer happiness / satisfaction is a management of expectations. If you say you’ll deliver a product at a certain time then you probably should. Regarding tracking: No communicating / no tracking / 20+ emails to customer service. Nobody can tell you when your purchase will actually arrive or where it is. You’ll get many emails telling you that they are looking into it and to wait 1-2 business days, and tell you the same thing 2 business days later and so on and so on, for 3 weeks now on 3 different orders.

    PLEASE NOTE: The ETA given on the website isn’t to your actual home but their shipping hub. Once the items have or in my case didn’t even arrive to shipping hub they are marked as delivered in your account. No updates or new tracking numbers provided. I’m still waiting on half an order to arrive one month later and the other half had to be cancelled because it didn’t show up to hub. Their customer service had told me that it will be 16 business day to deliver - which is like 1985. I order many items from around the world and Overstock is the only line that’s takes more than 7 business days. DO NOT ORDER - PLEASE - there are many other shops with quality products with excellent tracking services.

    Looked at multiple such items. Didn't realize I was allergic to the fabric. They want $24.00 to return it. I'll never buy from them again. I asked about returns they said, "Our return policy is clearly stated" and I would have to pay it goodbye.

    I bought 2 couches during the first wave of the pandemic. Sadly I chose Overstock.com. I have never seen something look so terrible after just a few weeks. The fabrics start wearing out even with a cover over them. Foam has no strength either. The frames creek, bur the bolts are not loose. I feel terrible that they were made to just end up in a landfill. They simply are not meant to be refurbished as you would with any normal piece after years of use.

    Overstock would do nothing about refunding or returning a $200 defective Motorized car I bought on their site. After 30 days they do nothing and had no warranty from the mfg. Why are they selling junk with no warranty and then not warranting it themselves. Stay away from cheap crap imports that they sell a lot of.

    Bad experience overall. The item I ordered was found to be a LOT cheaper at Wayfair and when I contacted Overstock about it they said I would have to become a member of Club O member ($20/year) for them to help me with a price match. How pathetic. I will just return the item, shop at Wayfair, and never go back to Overstock. Simple.

    The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I placed an order for a couch and dresser. Having received no confirmation three days later I contacted their customer service chat. Was told directly "I see that you didn't place the order and the order didn't go through". Asked if I should reorder the items and told yes, you should reorder. Save the chat, just in case. Days later receive duplicate orders. Contact Overstock and they want $155 to return the duplicate order their representative told me hadn't been placed. Still have no record of the first order in my account and absolutely zero confirmation from them that the first order ever even existed. Try to explain to them that I only reordered because their representative told me to and send a copy of the chat showing exactly that. Their response is they won't cover the return because my order was placed after the chat. Yes, obviously. Their rep TOLD ME TO REORDER.

    The order they told me was cancelled was done 3 days prior. They either don't understand this basic concept or are just willfully ignorant. The products themselves are fine, unfortunately there's duplicates sitting on my porch for the past two weeks. $1200 dollars of my money is tied up waiting for the return/refund and Overstock refuses to take responsibility for their error. This is an absolute thrash company and I will never again purchase anything from them. I'll be filing complaints with the BBB and NY Attorney General Office against them. This is the first negative review I've ever left, I'm just indignant at being treated like this after making a $1200 purchase. I understand their prices are low but please think twice before giving them your business.

    The patio furniture item I bought was good; the issue I have is with their customer service. Overstock delivered two of the same bench sections so I couldn't connect the three sectionals together. I didn't realize this until I built the entire set. I had to submit a missing parts form in order to get in touch with customer service. They responded saying they weren't able to send the missing part only, and they had to send all three packages again and then I would have to schedule a return for what I didn't need. Not ideal as the packages are heavy ** and I have to store everything inside until it's sorted out. However I agreed only to find out that the teal set I bought was no longer in stock and that I could get the grey one instead which I do not want.

    I've been in contact with customer service since 6/28 with no resolution in sight. I've called and emailed numerous times and talked to about 10 separate representatives and not one can offer an acceptable solution. They've given me the run around and claim their "speciality" team will review this issue. However, they will not provide any solutions (no partial refund, no full refund to keep what I have) other than to return what I have for a full refund (which is a standard policy??) OR I can keep the incorrect set I have, without any sort of compensation.

    I also no longer have the original packaging so they said I could donate the furniture and provide a donation receipt in order to get a refund. I find this highly unacceptable because it requires all the work on my end for a mistake they made/have taken so long to resolve. Their lack of urgency and repeat statements of "we can only offer a refund if you return the item" is infuriating. Is there someone out there who has two right side benches and is going to go through the same thing?? This is not the first time that Overstock has missed something in shipping either. My two experiences with them have lead me to believe that they have one of the worst customer service/shipping departments out there. I should have spent more money and purchased the set from a different company.

    They said we would receive the beds we ordered on Friday. We waited, they never showed. I contacted them, they said sorry for not updating the delivery time to a later date. They said it would come by the end of the next day. It didn’t. They said it would be another 2 days….I asked them to cancel it. I asked for a refund. I’m still waiting. Ridiculous!

    I purchased through Overstock.com because their delivery windows were short and I was in need of furniture ASAP. I purchased a 4 piece bedroom set that included two nightstands, bed and dresser on 7/17th. The product was scheduled to arrive 7/22nd. The product arrived but with a missing nightstand (valued at $300). I have been giving the runaround and not one is taking accountability for the missing item. At this point, I have been left to dispute the charges with the bank. This was my first experience with overstock.com and it will be my last.

    BEWARE!!! I have been with Overstock for over 7 years and bought a whole household of furniture, bedding, mattresses, rugs, and household items from them. I never had any payment issues. Last Sunday I received a phone call from a lady stating I owe $93.95 dollars and my account is delinquent. I let her know this is odd and never happed before. At first thought, it was a scam call. I couldn't think of what I bought and did not pay for. I quickly paid over the phone as she stated if I did not pay NOW there would be another $35 late charge. I quickly paid over the phone and hung up to call customer service. Then I found out it was a $19.95 charge for the Club O renewal that I did not purchase. This was put on my account without my knowing. $19.95 for the renal and then- two $35 late fees, two min $2 fees for interest all on an unauthorized charge.

    If that wasn't bad enough on top of all this, the next day I found out they reported to the credit bureau my account was delinquent. My credit was at 810 and just went down -55 points. I called in again to the service line, only to get a lady that would not listen to me, talked over me, and all she would say is "how would you like to make your payment today". I hung up and called back to get gentleman who was educated on how to listen and saw there was an issue. He stated the fees will be taken off, and all the changes related to the fraudulent renal fee. He was kind and very apologetic on what had happened: However he stated he had no authority or access to the credit report and I need to write a secure message to request the derogatory remakes be removed from my credit.

    This was done 5 business days ago and NO RESPONSE. I called customer service again, and was assured by a kind Lady Rebecca who assured me this will all be taken care of, I even have a case #. But I do not trust a company that behaves in such a manner. Scary when a company and their credit card holder can place whatever changes they like on your account and mess with your credit unfairly and YOU have to request through messages they do not respond to in a timely manner, to remove their inaccurate information... BE WARNED. I will be updating my review once the outcome of this fiasco has been resolved.

    I purchased a recliner from Overstock. FEDEX delivered it to my neighbor, 5 houses away. FedEx was not very responsive to their error. When I contacted Overstock, they asked me to move the package to my house....a 103 lb female moving a 77 lb box!!!! Not only did I have to find the misdelivered merchandise, now they expect me to correct their error. Will never do business with them again.

    Overstock is a sham! When I ordered my dining set the estimate delivery was one date. I understood because of covid it could be delayed. That was an understatement. The tracking said it was in my town. However, they couldn’t find my order. Not once, but over 5 times. Somehow my order was continuously lost. To add to this they kept promising delivery dates. I canceled meetings and work to sit home and wait for nothing to come but frustration. When I reached out for help, I was met by fake reps and more broken promises and lies. It was always on a truck ready to deliver or it was mysteriously lost and no one had answers. When I had finally had enough, and wanted my money back this sham company had the nerve of trying to charge me to return items I never received. So wrong in so many ways. My advice, don’t order from this ** company. They are liars, crooks and scam artists.

    I have always used Amazon due to its fast delivery. However, I thought I would give Overstock a try. I was very impressed that the items I ordered would be delivered within two days of purchasing the items. Not So! Overstock sends updates via email stating your item has shipped. They provide a tracking number for UPS. Upon checking with UPS the only thing done with my order is the label created. Nothing has shipped. In fact, UPS states, "Check back tomorrow for updates." On the day your item is to be delivered. This company obviously lies to gain customers. I have already started the return for one of the items. The other item is supposed to be delivered today. I will keep things updated on how fast they refund my money and if the item is delivered as stated.

    I purchased chairs from Overstock, one set came with no hardware. I tried for six weeks to get the hardware that was soupy to come with it. They kept sending the wrong size screws. They finally decided to send a replacement item that the hardware could be taken out of and I could replace the one damaged set of legs that had poor welding/crease section. I returned the damage set and have now been charged again because they're unable to locate the return in their warehouse. I would not suggest purchasing from them.

    I ordered a desk about 10:00 at night. About 15 minutes after ordering. A family member called and said they would give a desk they weren’t using anymore. I needed a desk because I just landed a remote job working from home after being out of work for a year because of the pandemic. I went online about 30 to 35 minutes after ordering the desk and tried to cancel the order. It would not let me. So early the next morning I called Overstock.Com customer service. They tell me it was too late to cancel the order that I had to wait for it to be delivered then return it. Well it arrived. I called again 5 minutes after it was dropped off. Talked to customer service. They tell me they need to open a return case and get in touch with the vendor.

    So now I am waiting and checking my email for a shipping label so I can return it. Instead I get a email from the vendor through Overstock that I am to ship the item back to the vendor at my expense. I thought what kind of ** is this. So I called customer service again. All you get is the runaround. I ask to talk to a manager. The manager gives me the runaround. Telling me they are not responsible for returning the item, that the vendor is. I said I bought the item from Overstock.com not the vendor they bought it from. So they are responsible for giving me a shipping label or arranging the pick up a return. Again the manager just makes excuses and gives the runaround. So now I am stuck paying 48.00 dollars to return a item that cost 129.00 and no way to get my shipping money back.

    This company is crap. The customer service is nothing but ** service. This was the first and last time I ever bought from this company. I highly recommend that people avoid this company. I have bought many items from Wayfair.com even had a couple problems with a couple pieces of furniture being scratched. Or a broken piece. But when I called customer service, they were right on it and took care of the issues right away with one phone call and at no additional cost to me. In my opinion if you need anything. Check and buy from Wayfair instead. You will have a lot less headaches and stress.

    I made a purchase and I cancelled it 3 hours later. Although my delivery started to be prepared on the next day, my cancellation request was not enough and I received the packages some days after. They offered me to subscribe for a O Club, when I supposed to pay $20 and would have free returns until keeping the membership. I agreed, paid $20, sent back my products. My refund was done in credit for new purchases at the company. I asked them to credit my money on my credit card. I was informed that, in order to proceed like I asked, I supposed to pay $89 of return fee, even considering that I am member of the stupid O CLub. So, I will not buy at this company anymore, I authorized to charge me $89 of my purchase price $450 and I spent those $20 on subscription. This IS NOT A SERIOUS COMPANY. I AM FEELING ROBBED.

    We ordered some ceiling tiles. The problem lies in that Overstock does not package them the way you have to make the choice when you are purchasing. Therefore, their customer service people get very confused when they try to figure out whether your product had indeed been processed correct. I have been on the phone for 5 days straight trying to get this right. They never sent enough packages of tile. I have proof they never sent them even though I was charged for them and they keep telling me to wait they will come. This is not "Field of Dreams." They can't come when they weren't shipped.

    I ordered the Tiramisu Love Seat sofa in green almost a month ago. When my tracking status never changed over the weeks I contacted Overstock and they reassured me several different times that my sofa was coming. The last time I checked the shipping status it said that my order had been canceled due to lack of stock. Overstock never even informed me of this and I would have still been waiting and waiting for my sofa to arrive. All I got from an Overstock “live specialist” was a text message saying, ”I’m sorry this happened to you.” Now a month later, it’s almost impossible to find the sofa anywhere, but I did manage to find one through Walmart.com and it was $100 cheaper. So thank you Overstock for being a horrible company…I’ll stick with Walmart next time!

    I don’t know where to begin with this whole experience - I am extremely disappointed; in doubt; and speechless with everything O.co has put me thru to buy a sofa I should had bought from a local store instead of buying online. I have been a customer since 2005 and never and I have to say never in a million years I would think something like this could happen with such a prestigious company! This whole ordeal started when I made the purchase online. In hopes it would ship soon since it said 9 items available in stock) a week later after reaching out to Overstock, I was told it would take up to 5 weeks to ship. I asked for the order to be canceled, since I needed the item sooner. Somehow the sofa was shipped the next day! So far so good… Little did I know that they would handpick the worst and most disgusting Company to do the delivery - CEVA LOGISTICS.

    If you Google the company out it’s a 1 star rating and all the comments - OMG I could not believe… and believe me I’m not making it up. The delivery was scheduled for last week June 24 with the window from 1 pm to 5 pm. No show - no phone call - no nothing. Not even, "Hey we are running late. Can we reschedule?" NADA. How do you run a company like that? How do you survive? It’s beyond me how things are going… I reached out to O.co and little to nothing was done. I tried calling inúmeros times and CEVA never answer the phone. So I tried rescheduling to see if anything would happen- and it did JUNE 29 was my delivery day.

    I reached out once again to OVERSTOCK letting them know that if the item wasn’t canceled I wanted to keep it, but wanted them to confirm that it was going to be delivered- no reply…. I Waited all morning, and nothing from CEVA either. I left my house at 1 pm (I was under the impression that my delivery window was 10 am - 1 pm). At 1:34 pm the driver calls me and tells me his outside - I’m like, "Who? What? Where are you from?" OMG what an awful person- nasty. He pretty much told me that it wasn’t his problem that the sofa was never delivered the week before and that he was outside and for me to figure it out. I was far from my house. I replied and told him - "You figure it out! I no longer want the delivery." At this point it’s whatever. I’ll sit on the floor for the time being and take the time to research a better company to buy it from. And make sure it’s local so I can have more control of what’s going on.

    I’ll try to keep this as simple as possible as this has been going on for over a month now. I ordered a piece of furniture from Overstock towards the end of May 2021. I was notified it was shipped and was given the tracking number. Day after day, I checked the tracking and it never changed from “label created”. After over a week of this, I contacted customer service. They said they would try to trace the package and to wait a few more days. After a couple of days, they confirmed it was lost and sent a replacement. Exact same thing happened with the replacement. Going back and forth with customer service stating at this point I would prefer a refund and to shop elsewhere. They wouldn’t acknowledge my request for a refund and instead sent out another replacement.

    This one came when it said it would, but… it was falling apart, loaded with splinters, and full of ants! Large, red ants! Unbelievable. I couldn’t bring this into my home, let alone handle it without ants coming out. Customer service told me to box it up and return it for a refund. I refuse to handle that thing and feel it is extremely irresponsible to send an ant infested item back through the mail. So, again, I requested they refund my money as I do not want that product anymore and the distress this has caused me is ridiculous. I would like to wipe my hands of this experience and avoid this company in the future, but they are refusing to refund me and insist on sending another replacement! Avoid, avoid, avoid.

    I bought a large outdoor shade umbrella from Overstock, along with a base for it. The base came quickly. The umbrella was marked shipped, but never came. They eventually said it was lost and issued a refund. I had unpacked the base and put it together since the umbrella was marked shipped. Now they say it was a third party sale from their website and I must pay 20% restocking and shipping and boxing fees to get it returned. Just absurd lack of any quality in their customer service. I’m appalled. Don’t use Overstock, they don’t try to correct problems entirely due to their error. They will leave you holding the proverbial bag. Awful company.

    I ordered two (2) nuLOOM Braided Casual Contemporary Loulou Jute Solid Area Rugs. The product's zig-zag stitching showed on both sides; quality was inferior. These are heavy. UPS charged me $136 to return the 8 x 10 rug. Return shipping will be deducted from my refund for the other 9 x 12 rug. Online rug buying is bad business. For me, shopping Overstock has been a $300 mistake!! They have lost my business.

    Unfortunately after 15 months of having and using these blinds I need to update my review. My expectations of blinds in this price range were for them to last several years, which I don't think is unreasonable. Under normal usage the tensioner on one of the three blinds snapped which now renders it useless. You cannot raise the blind from the bottom or lower it from the top. I contacted Overstock to see if they could do anything to help with my situation. I was not asking for a refund, of for a replacement at no charge, but just requested a discount for the purchase of a replacement blind. Unfortunately they were not willing to help which in my opinion is poor business. Now I have to order a replacement blind and spend another $90+/- in order to match the other blinds I still have. Based on my experience I would NOT recommend these blinds.

    Below was my previous review: These high quality blinds arrived in perfect condition, they were easy to install and are true blackout blinds. The top down/bottom up design were great and are perfect for our application. As they are blackout blinds the top down feature is great as we can determine how much light we want to let in by adjusting as needed. Allowing the light to come in from the top instead of the bottom provides a better lighting effect than what the bottom would and it provides more privacy. I would buy again and highly recommend these blinds.

    When I returned a rug, I was told if I'd join Club O, I'd not have to pay shipping. He said I could return 3 items a month. He never said my return would be in store credit. When they finally processed my return, it was for in store credit. I wouldn't have joined club O if he'd been honest with me.

    I recently purchased a toaster that appeared a much different color online than what I received. When I reached out to Overstock, it had to be approved by the merchandiser as this was a third party seller. They approved my return but refused to pay the shipping cost to return the toaster. When I received my refund, they again deducted the cost if shipping and handling for the item sent. This is poor business practices in a time where most sellers offer free s/h and free returns. I will never shop at Overstock in the future. They have terrible customer service.

    I would give zero stars if that was an option. Placed my order for furniture ($1,400 ORDER) to have the money immediately taken. I waited 2 weeks just for the order to be processed. Then, EFW the delivery company chosen by Overstock somehow lost my 5 large boxes of furniture. Not one phone call but spent over 3 hours on the phone (with no exaggeration) to find out it is missing. Today, Overstock informed me that "oops" the item is now OUT OF STOCK so they will need to issue me a refund. But unfortunately, that I will need to wait 3-4 business days for that department to call me and issue my refund. So to recap: Order placed 4/16. Money sent 4/17. Order processed 4/27. Items received at EFW dock 5/11. Items said to be lost 5/18.

    Called Overstock to discuss replacing the items (which by the way not one person reached out to me) and was told "Oops" it is OUT OF STOCK and a refund will need to be issued but wait for it----IT WILL TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 4 BUSINESS DAYS FOR THAT DEPARTMENT TO CALL ME AND ISSUE MY REFUND WHICH YUP--WILL TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS TO GET BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT. AWFUL!!!

    I ordered a sectional sofa for almost 2 months ago. I have an overstock store card however I paid for it over $800. However I keep on getting track it from Estes saying they were delivered today. One day became two days. Two days became three days. I actually took off two days of work to make an appointment for it to be delivered. They never delivered the order. When I called to see what was holding up the tracking they said I live in a remote area that he couldn’t be delivered so I asked for a refund and told him it was fine. I never got the furniture. Still a month and a half I still don’t have furniture after a house remodel. They kept the money, did not refund any of my 800 and almost $99 back to me. Instead they credited to the account. I had to close the account this morning, they still haven’t refunded my money or is not talking about refunding my money so I have to go to legal sources.

    Please don’t Order furniture here go to a local location not all the furniture here. You’ll never receive it. They’ll keep your money and they’ll feed you a lot of crap about they can’t, why they can’t deliver but they won’t refund your money. It’s almost 2 months. No furniture, no refund, no remorse from overstock or Comenity Bank. Overstock is not worth anyone’s time or hard earned money. Please share my experience with anyone who is thinking about purchasing furniture from overstock.

    Ordered a set of patio furniture on April 22, 2021. Got a notification on April 22, 2021 that my order was shipped. Tried tracking it on UPS, all it stated was "Label Created". Till this day, the tracking information on UPS remains the same. Called customer service, I was told that they will get back to me and I am still waiting.... This will be my first and last time buying from this website.

    Wow. Where do I begin! I was so excited to receive my Chocolate 3 piece faux leather recliner living room set. I also purchased the Protection Plan for 59.95. Well once my furniture arrives it was put into my garage until I was able to get someone to get it out. Remind you. There was a hole at the top of the single recliner box in which I stated... Well dang somebody wanted to be nosey and just torn open my box to see what color this beautiful set came in. (Didn’t worry because it was a small tear.) Long story short... FINALLY got the boxes ((ONLY 2)) Upstairs from the lower floor. The first box (that had the hole... OUT CAME THE D**n RAT (mice).. Yes I jumped from the floor to the ceiling ALMOST!! So I was very scared to open the next box but we did. I was looking for some more rats but no more appeared. But there was a hole on the side of the Love Sofa AS WELL.

    I called Customer Service and made a complaint as well as for them to honor my protoplasm. NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME BACK YET. Why advertise something and get my money for it if it’s not going to be acknowledged. Trust and believe I WILL BE SEEING OVERSTOCK and whomever else in court behind my 2000.00! Pain and suffering for bringing their California rodents into my home. (That’s where this furniture stated it came from). NO DISRESPECT!!!

    I will NEVER buy anything else from Overstock! I CANCELED All other orders. I’ll take my chance at a FLEA MARKET!! Been in my home for 2 1/2 years and have NEVER seen a roach but 1 mice came and straight up terrified and invaded my house. Lil nasty tail self. I have a artistic child and if I didn’t act on that situation FAST as I did. It could’ve bitten my son or one of my other kids, who knows? But hey THIS IS JUST MY EXPERIENCE.     Overstock is the worst company I've ever bought from. I buy a lot on the internet and I thought I'd give them a shot. They failed in so many ways from taking the order to processing the order to delivering the order. I will never shop at overstock.com again. If I could get my money back and send the order back I would but they refuse to take back the item and refund my money. My only recourse is to write bad reviews and tell everybody I know to never shop there again. I will happily shop at Amazon and eBay. Even if I have to pay more I will. Overstock is a non reputable company stealing hardworking men and women's money all for profit of.

    I have only ordered from Overstock twice. I fell and broke my leg and am gonna be out of work longer than expected. I requested to cancel my order that HAS NOT shipped.     In March, I ordered a product for an outdoor event in May. The shipping date indicated that the product would arrive no later than April 23. When the product "shipped," I received a notification, but there was no update to the tracking information. I reached out to customer service, who took two days to respond about my specific order, then didn't respond for five more days despite multiple follow-up emails and calls from me, then asked me to wait an additional three days for information from the shipping partner. At that point, they notified me that the product was lost, they were issuing a refund, and the product is now out of stock so I can't order and expedite a replacement. Now prices are up and stock is low everywhere. If customer service had been more responsive when I first noted the issue, I could have had time to order a replacement. They offered a $100 store credit but I will never buy from them again.

    I bought a patio bar set,, it came damaged, they wanted me to go to a UPS store and return the parts, I said not going to a ups store. I have no way to transport it. Forget it. They insisted 4 times on sending me replacement parts, I said no every time, and they threatened to charge me again for sending replacement parts if I didn't return the damaged top, they sent it anyway, they put it on me to contact ups to stop the shipment, when they had tracking information. Bottom line I have a $500 patio bar with a damaged top, it's bent so bad the glass panels don't fit properly.

    I ordered a tv stand for the first time from this company. My account showed it was shipped and it's expected arrival. I also noticed the carrier's system showed no update. Upon checking with the carrier they told me a label was created but they didn't have any package. So I contacted Overstock and was told that this was rare that this happened???? That she would have to send my concern over to another department so they could find out where the package was. In short multiple customer service reps WOULD NOT issue me a replacement for the same item in a different color without paying additional money because the price increased.

    The item I purchased was on sale and at the time I had the option of selecting a color. I asked to speak with management and was told they would contact me. As of this moment I haven't received any emails or calls. As a consumer and an employee who works for one of the top 100 companies and the number one company in retail. This business practice is unacceptable. Your suppose to satisfy your customers so that they will continue to shop with your company. I will never order or recommend anyone to shop with this company. I had to rate my experience and am forced to give a star in which you deserve none.

    This company is a HUGE rip-off for returns! We ordered a mantel with a supposed guarantee which they refused to honor. We liked the mantel but it had four nail pops with the FIRST use - and that was with a low heat fireplace! A call to customer service determined that they are unwilling to assist or return. Then! (I guess we didn't learn) We ordered some planters which showed up with inaccurate website description and extremely poor quality and found that their return policy said that they will charge as much for to/from shipping as it the item cost! We ordered a yoga gnome that showed up IN PIECES - so I refused the shipment rather than deal with them - they've marked the shipment delivered (even though UPS says it was not) so we are AGAIN out fifty bucks. I cannot recommend this company in any way any longer. We've had some things we really, really like from them - but their returns and their lack of customer service really scared us away for good.

    Some items not eligible for return but some only have a 50% return and others are 20%. I bought 2 sets of sheets and needed to return one for fabric quality and the other for color misrepresentation. Ouch! There are sites with better return policies!

    I had this card 2 years and hadn't used. I received email notice that if I didn't use my card was going to be cancelled. Over the 2 years I had moved from Texas to Ohio. I placed order to avoid card being cancelled and affecting my credit score. It did not dawn on me that they still had old bank on file, since they had correct email and shipping address. When first payment was due, I went online and paid full balance with the info they had stored. Each day I checked my bank to check to see what had cleared, as I do every month after paying all my bills. After several days they were the only one that hadn't cleared my bank yet. I went online to see what problem was on their website and then realised they still had Texas bank info, and that account had been closed nearly 2 years earlier. I corrected info and entered my new bank account info and attempted to make payment again.

    When it wouldn't allow me to as it showed zero due, I called the bank. I explained it was honest mistake with bank info. I spoke to customer service rep and a manager. I was told after they couldn't make payment, that I would have to wait until payment from old bank was returned. I was then told mistake or not, even though I alerted them to the problem, before they even knew, I would be charged the return payment penalty fee. The manager told me the bank had a very strict policy and they had no authority to waive the charge, even for a mistake. Had they not sent me an email to order something or card would be cancelled, none of this would of occurred in the first place. So for a purchase of 111.00 to keep card active I was charged a ridiculous return check fee, because info on their site wasn't updated to submit payment to the right financial institution. I will not purchase or use this card ever again.

    I ordered a dining room set (The Gray Barn) and it was delivered within two weeks. The company that delivers responded to a couple of my emails immediately, prior to delivery. The delivery men were super friendly. The dining set was well packaged, no damage and no missing parts. One of the pieces of the table has since broken, but I was able to order a replacement part online. Hopefully I receive it! Overall, positive experience.

    I buy online products weekly and Overstock STOLE my money. Their app and customer service are absolutely the worst I've ever seen. I spent $300 on side tables that they delivered to an old address from 10 years ago but there is no place on their app to change or update your address. I put in the correct address when I made the purchase (in order for them to charge my credit card) but they shipped to the old address. They refuse to refund my money and they gave me the run around for over a month. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Go to Amazon. WAY better refund process.

    I ordered an entertainment center through Overstock.com. It was scheduled for a delivery date. Day of, did not arrive. I called them, they said that the item had arrived at their warehouse, but was not scheduled for a delivery. Scheduled delivery again and gave the # of my bf and my own for contact as my bf was going to be at the apartment all day awaiting the delivery. Day of, kept my phone with me ALL day, no call to me OR my bf. At the end of the day, contacted them, they claimed that someone tried calling me. I had no missed phone calls or a vm, neither did my bf.

    At this point, I just wanted to cancel and get a refund, which they agreed to. I proceeded to order an entertainment center through a different website. Next day I received an email from overstock.com saying that they would refund me, but I would be charged a $185 restocking fee. This was not explained to me when I expressed my wish to cancel and now I have ordered 2 entertainment centers and have neither of them! I emailed with a manager, they were not willing to let the restocking fee slide, so I scheduled yet another delivery date, specifying 3 times my phone number not my bf's this time as he could not wait all day this time. They called my bf's # and he had to cancel his physical therapy appt because overstock.com cannot get organized apparently. I would NEVER order anything from this company again! TERRIBLE experience!

    WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN! It's on me to check but having been online shopping for years, I've never run into a company that charges this much for returns: nearly $80 to 4 duvet covers that didn't match, which is a hard thing to accurately determine from a small picture on a website.     Do not purchase from this website. Their returning policy is a RIP-OFF and that is why they are selling thing a bit cheaper. Customers can ONLY get the refund if it falls under their errors. If the customer wants to return the product because of change of mind, products' poor quality etc. The customer will have to pay for all the shipping fees (back and forth), shipping insurance, and tax.

    Run! Overstock is non-communicative with a work ethic similar to that of a scam artist. I placed an order which never arrived. Overstock told me it was delivered and that they would call me back. I never received a return call. Three days later after I reached out to them yet again, it became obvious after waiting an additional 15 minutes that a supervisor wasn’t coming to the phone. Instead, the kind representative, Dave kept saying that the Supervisor said they’d call me back. We all know that wasn’t going to happen.

    Upon requesting a full refund, I was not informed as to when I could expect it nor was I given confirmation that the order was cancelled. I had to contact Overstock again and request a conversation via text message in order to receive an email. Amazon would never! I thought I would utilize an Overstock coupon and save a few dollars, I more than paid for it in grief, loss of time, aggravation and the overall inconvenience of still not having what I ordered.

    Bought some shoes that didn't fit. Sought to return them & they sent me a return authorization. Packaged them up, put the label on, took a picture of the box and off they went.     I made the first order on 21 of January (**) of a tuxedo for my wedding. They canceled because they were running out of stock. I called them I ordered again (**) on the 23 of january. I even called an agent to make sure they have it in stock. She said yes and I even insisted. She said, "We have them." Now I ordered they wait 3 days again & canceled it of the 25 again. And my weeding is on the 30. Now I have to go to Indochino to buy a 600 dollar tuxedo. If you don't have the item please keep updating. I am still crying.     I have several promotional plans and was told to make an additional payment and then call and tell them which plan to apply it to. I did that and it still has not been applied to the one that is maturing soon. I have called several times and was told it will be done but it has not been done. This means that a customer will never be able to pay off their promotional plans and will pay interest. I would not recommend this card to anyone. The service is poor because they all read from a script and then make you promises to get you off the phone.

    I ordered a futon cover and changed my mind so they cancelled the order fast but then are slow playing me on returning money to my PayPal account. If you like having to go to live chat 10 different times and being told 10 different time frames, then this is the place. It is not for a refund, it's for a cancelled order and nobody at Overstock.com can give the same answer. Very poor customer service and I will never shop there again.

    We bought what we thought was going to be a beautiful bed. We were told to receive it 1/11 and today is the 18th and we still don't have it. We tried to contact Overstock via the 1-800 number, the "0" key doesn't work, and they disconnect. We try to chat and we spin into a never-ending chain of computer-generated garbage. We have a purchase of over $800 we can't arrange to be delivered and no way to get through to any Overstock people to find anyone who cares. God only knows what would happen if the bed came in missing a part or a part was damaged. Overstock's customer service is deplorable and we are about ready to contact our credit card company and get the charges reversed. What a shame. Total BS on a large investment and a waste of our time for almost a month.

    I ordered 2 dining-room chairs from Overstock. One of them arrived (actually earlier than promised), the second one NEVER made it to my home. When I unpacked the chair I noticed a label affixed that stated that this product may cause cancer, birth defects, etc. I immediately checked the online ad that advertised the chair, there was no mentioning of any such warning whatsoever. I followed this with a call to Overstock. The first person that I spoke to never even heard of such a complaint. The second one promised to let me return the chair, but first tried to charge me for those costs. Long story made short, I was on the phone for over an hour originally. There were about 2 dozen e-mails back and forth before the latest one now (2 weeks later) promised a refund that I may receive in 5 business days.

    Mid of December I purchased some items for outdoor seating and had to pay right away. A week later I received an UPS update that the item was shipped and I can expect the delivery 3 days later. Then I saw that my items was delivered within the US but I am located in Canada. Hotline told me not to worry, it will come that day. But: NOTHING. Later I found out that it was delivered to the next carrier LANDMARK. It took a time until they shipped to Canada to the next carrier Canada Post. Here the shipment was sitting untouched for days but I always got an update: Estimated Delivery 07. January, after that 11. January and today it was saying TODAY. As soon they they charged your credit card, the game is over and you are screwed. Won't deal with these mafia guys again. The employees of the hotline are just sitting in their office waiting for the next pay cheque and that was it. Customer service is a language they DON'T SPEAK AT ALL!!!

    Overstock.com is a terrible company. They sent wrong color couch and love seat. Called was told they would send right color couch and love seat. They sent second couch and love seat. Wrong color again. They neglected to pick first wrong couch and loveseat. They left 12 large boxes in my daughter 's tiny one bedroom for 5 days. I was assured they would all be picked up. Overstock assured me all call tags were issued. They were not. My daughter had to beg UPS to take all the boxes. They left one box. Took 11 on the next day. They finally came and took last box on day 6.

    My daughter has depression and anxiety. This only made her condition worse and caused her more anxiety. I called overstock. Spoke to supervisor John. He assured me I would receive 1/2 off original price and a BLACK couch and loveseat would be sent out immediately. I checked the next day. The price on my in store cc had not been changed to reflect the 1/2 price as discussed one day earlier. Also I found out the black couch and loveseat were out of stock now. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I'm completely discussed and outraged by this horrible experience! I want other shoppers and buyers to be aware of this terrible experience.     I decided to order furniture for Overstock after finding IKEA out of so much during the pandemic. I was moving n a few weeks and needed several items. I ended up buying 5 items. Without exception, I had nothing but problems from ordering, to shipping, to building, to returning, to getting the refunds. One item was delivered without any notification, another was delivered assembled but damaged, 2 other items were missing parts and the instructions were so poorly written/pictured that it was impossible to disseminate one part from another. I waited over 2 weeks for a refund on one item before I finally had to call my bank.

    I purchased a jacket from Overstock.com from the company Powinda Sports on December 5, 2020. I was supposed to get it on the 11th. Never came, contacted the site they said to wait a day or two for the mail is running late. It’s now December 29th. No jacket. The seller texted me at midnight a few days ago and with horrible writing skills that they would indeed refund my money. Then I contacted them during normal hours the next day to say I never got the item or refund. Then they changed their minds and blamed the post office. I contacted Overstock to ask for credit or refund. They texted back again with horrible spelling (guess they don’t have spell check) that they will not do anything to accommodate. I will never use this site again.

    Ordered a media stand in November. My credit card was charged on Nov 27th. I am still waiting on my product. Overstock.com has done little to resolve other than forward complaint to vendor, who claims product was "lost" upon pickup. (Original tracking number stated "waiting to be picked up".) Vendor said it was "lost when picked up" and offered a refund. After much back and forth, and my researching the website and vendor's website, I found that this product is still being advertised as in stock and available. I responded that I wanted my shipment ASAP. I was told that it would arrive Dec 29th, please be patient.

    It is now December 26th. I just checked the tracking number for the "replacement" media stand, it has never changed status from the day the replacement order was placed. It also shows "waiting for UPS to pick up order". At this point, I am going to cancel the order on Dec 29th if it still shows it has not been picked up since I agreed to wait for delivery until then.. I do not see how it will get here by then (Colorado) from New Jersey since it has never been picked up YET. I doubt the item is available as advertised. They have had my money in hand since the credit card was processed on November 27th. Totally disgusted with this entire experience. Totally disgusted with overstock.com as well as their vendor.

    I paid for a mattress on Nov. 26 and was notified of shipment on the 29th. Given a tracking # that doesn't produce a result, and one month later they refuse to refund my money saying they are 'looking for it'. It was advertised as 'in stock' and now they are just giving me the run around. You've been warned. Now I have to waste more time working with my credit card company to cancel the charge and discontinue the account # since it has been compromised.

    This company is the biggest scam I’ve ever experienced. It took two months and 5 shipments for me to receive my tv unit. The first unit they sent arrived in 3 pieces, but I only received 2 of the 3. So after my second attempt with customer service they finally sent me a replacement in hopes that my third piece would arrive. It finally did after 3 weeks of waiting for the replacement package. Then we unboxed everything to start putting it together and multiple pieces are cracked, bent and broken... OH and to top it off, they were supposed to send me return labels so that I could ship back the extra replacement pieces that I didn’t need for free and they sent me the wrong return labels. 100% do NOT recommend this company for furniture.

    I ordered a bed frame with draws the storage underneath. And when I put it or try to put it together. All there was was three pieces of wood and a bag of nails. No directions and no bed frame. I have emails back-and-forth with all the stock and they keep telling me to call the warranty number since I have a five year warranty.     I purchased a bed that was suppose to be grey in color. When I received the bed, it was obviously beige. I tried to call and start the return process. The rep. advised me that it was going to be $155 for return shipping. Why should I have to pay for the return shipping costs if it's not the color that was stated? He continues to tell me that if I get a membership, the shipping cost would be free "BUT" you would get store credit instead of the full refund back onto your CC. WTF??!! Total scam!!     Purchased a weight set. Didn't know it was a third party seller. They created a shopping label charged me and never sent item to Fedex for shopping. Overstock won't help even though payment went to them. Their answer is "try to get in touch with seller," whose number doesn't work and Email is returned undeliverable.     Terrible Customer Service! I will never buy from Overstock again and I will advise my family and friends of the same. My original order was placed on Nov. 25, 2020 and my call to customer service was on December 7, 2020. I tried to return some carpets and the shipping charges were exorbitant. I spent $290 on the rugs and was expected to spend another $200 to do the return. The customer service representative was rude and condescending.     I purchased a desk on a Sunday. On Wednesday the price dropped $15 dollars. I chatted and was told that it is not eligible for price adjustment, but just this once they would do it. Then on Friday, the item dropped another $20. I was again told they would not honor a price adjustment on my order. However, the item I purchased still showed it was being processed in the warehouse, so I said I would just cancel it and reorder.

    I was told I am "not allowed" to cancel it as the order is being processed. Well, I cancelled it anyway. My item now shows "delayed" instead of being processed, so we will see if the item actually gets cancelled. (Note: My payment for the item has not been processed through my bank yet.) Just FYI - the service rep on the chat the second time, said they only price adjust within 7 days of purchase. I told him it was within 7 days, and then he said "Oh, I didn't see that. But it doesn't matter as your item is not valid for price adjustment." The whole thing just seems shady to me. I don't plan on ordering from Overstock again.

    I purchased king sheet set, 2 queen comforters and 2 duvet covers, 100% cotton and down. It was cyber Monday and they kept noting I only had a couple hours to buy. I believed what they advertised as being discounted prices. After purchasing and when I had the time, I compared the prices elsewhere and I overpaid a LOT for the items at Overstock. Not only that, but when I checked their site, the prices for the items I purchased were LOWER!! What a scam this company is, they lied about their Cyber Monday sale, used unethical techniques to get people to buy within a certain period of time and scammed people into buying from their site. I will NEVER ever buy from this company again. My advice to everyone is if you do buy from them, ensure you compare the price elsewhere and definitely do not get scammed by their bogus sales, they are lying!

    I was overstocked for about 5 years. I put all my stuff in storage and I end up lost everything out of my storage so I had to start over with completely so I got in contact with Overstock and I bought my liberal set and my bedroom set from overstock and I am still sleeping on this furniture and when my bedroom set in my living room looks very nice. With sites like eBay you can view the correspondence records that you have had with other merchants and even with eBay customer service but with Overstock there is no record keeping and you have no record of what message you sent to merchants.

    I purchased a dining table via Overstock. The description included the words stainless steel finish. When I received the table, brand is Inspire Q, it was gorgeous but not stainless steel finished. It was coated with a soft bronze looking paint? Epoxy? Not sure. I actually was okay with the look but the finish chips at the slightest use. You can't set the table without chipping the too soft finish. I contacted overstock and they offered a refund of $85.00. Mind you I paid over a grand for the table on sale. They said otherwise I could return it for a refund. The boxes are long gone. I didn't use the table for 3 weeks initially because I wanted to find the perfect chairs. So the packing is gone.

    The table weighs appx 150 pounds as is and is huge. Basically I will have to live with it. The description as I said is fraudulent. I am still fighting it but should not have to. Shame on you overstock for not standing behind your product better or caring about a previously very good customer who will never purchase from you again.

    Bought a computer from an independent seller, it didn't work, sent it back and will not be getting refund or replacement. Contacting Overstock customer diservice by email is not an option. You can choose chat but must trick the chat bot to get a real human. Eventually the chat bot says it will connect you to a real human but after 20 minutes of no customer diservice agent the chat bot will disconnect you and close chat.

    Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced! This has been a long drawn-out, horrible experience, but I will try to keep it as short as possible. We purchased a Simmons Casegoods Anthem Collection 5-Piece King Size Bedroom Set from Overstock through Amazon on 7/30/2020 for over $4,000. I took a day off work to wait out the 6 hour delivery window provided by Overstock. The set arrived and were set off in our garage. The boxes appeared to be in satisfactory condition. I then arranged for some help, and the three of us spent the majority of a weekend moving the old furniture out, unpacking the new furniture, moving it from the garage and assembling it.

    The quality of the furniture was not great to begin with, considering the price, but oh well. After spending countless hours assembling and setting up the set, we finally unpackaged the headboard. Well you can imagine our disappointment when we found that the headboard appeared to have fallen off of a truck on the highway at some point and was severely damaged. I contacted Overstock, who said they would replace the broken headboard and to go ahead and dispose of the garage full of cardboard and styrofoam packaging.

    After waiting a couple weeks and through another 6 hour delivery window, another headboard did arrive, but was found to be as damaged as the previous one. I immediately contacted Overstock again and was told another replacement would be shipped. I then received an email the following day, stating “We are unable to facilitate another headboard, however we are open to compensation for the damage”. The item is still available for purchase by the way. They then requested I email them photos, which I immediately did. Well after countless emails, condensing photos & resending multiple times, and waiting several days for replies each time, the only communication I was receiving from Overstock was an occasional generic email stating “Please send photos of damage”.

    So at this point we engaged Amazon, as I thought they would assist in reaching a resolution. Well after countless emails and multiple hours spent on the phone with Amazon, we have gotten absolutely nowhere! We have been told different things each time we call such as “Wait a day”, “Wait 48 hours”, “Wait a week”, “Wait 2 weeks”. We were told a refund would be issued if the seller did not respond within 48 hours, which did not happen. We were told an A-to-z Guarantee was filed, then no it wasn’t, then yes it was, then wait a week, then wait two weeks, wait 2 more weeks, wait 48 hours, wait 24 hours. We have received nothing from Amazon besides the run-around and conflicting information each and every single time!

    We are now being told to return the entire bedroom suite to Overstock and be sure to insure the shipment. First of all, the original packaging has been disposed of, countless hours have been spent by us trying to reach a resolution, and now we are expected to spend another couple of days disassembling an entire bedroom suite, obtaining & paying for shipping material, renting a truck & hiring movers to take the furniture to a shipping freight company, then spending at least hundreds of dollars out of pocket to ship the furniture via insured freight. Why in the world would I even consider spending who knows how much more money, when neither Overstock nor Amazon have kept up their end of this deal and have told us nothing but lies!

    We have been extremely loyal Amazon customers for many years, have spent thousands of dollars there and have never made one complaint, although there have been several time when we should have. We are being treated like we are nothing! We are out over $4,000 and here we are three months later with nothing but a pile of broken junk to show for it, and neither Overstock nor Amazon have done anything to help reach a resolution. All we wanted is what we paid for and a partial refund for the hassle. Now we are demanding to be taken seriously and have a full refund issued.

    I ordered rugs for our new house on 10/5, with a delivery date of 10/8. Two out of the 3 items were delivered, but customer service had no idea when the third rug would ship. I finally received a shipping notice on 10/14, but by 10/19 it wasn’t tracking and FedEx didn’t have it. After 5 phone calls to customer service on the 19th, I finally got a manager to agree to issue a refund for the rug I never received. It is now 10/27 and I am still waiting for the refund. I contacted them on 10/26 to ask about the refund and all they said was contact the bank. I paid through PayPal, so I am now asking them to investigate. I would never purchase something from Overstock again and don’t recommend the company.

    In this day and age with COVID, online shopping is the way to go. I purchased a $200 hair dryer that was defective when it arrived. I turned it on, and the motor made a noise like it was revving on and then it started. It didn't start immediately. I used it three times and each time it did the same thing. My stylist recommended this product so I asked her if that happened to hers. It didn't. I stopped by a local Ulta store to check their display model, and their model also started immediately. I had purchased from Overstock to save $10. What a joke. Overstock says because it's a beauty product, they won't return it. I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as this is a shabby way to run a company. The ELECTRONIC device is DEFECTIVE which could cause bodily harm, yet the customer service person hung up on me when I asked her to explain why this was exempt.

When asked (both times) about returning and ordering an item, she puts customer on hold; leaves us there for 20 minutes after which phone goes to a busy signal and clicks off to a dead phone.     On 10/8/2020 I ordered vertical Blinds for 90w×80L $222.86. They charged me for 3 $668.58. About 30 min later I checked my account I contacted customer service. They said once my order get to the warehouse I have to wait until three individual 90W blinds are delivered and return to sender, when the order got to the seller they called me they knew it was a mistake because one of the measurements would fit a doggie door. At this point I've sent Overstock.com several emails explaining that was a mistake I only wanted 1 and the measurements I also told them the seller has been in contact with me and the seller info. Instead of contacting the seller C&L WINDOW TREATMENTS Overstock.com insisted on sending me the wrong measurements.

    Finally Overstock.com email me my shipment was on the way 1 set of vertical Blinds 36w×72in. Now I'm fed up okay so emailed Overstock.com again where's my refund and you still got the measurements wrong. I tell them once again contact the seller - given them C&L WINDOW TREATMENTS info again. Now it's 9 days later. I've had enough of Overstock.com. October 17, 2020 I called the 1-800 customer service say my shipment is on the way, it's at UPS she is going to send me a link to print out return shipping labels. I told her it's a good thing it's still at UPS she better call them and cancel. I will never deal with DUMMERSTOCK.COM AGAIN. ALL I WANT FROM THEM IS MY $668.00. I'm just getting back to work. Can't wait 45 days. THE WORD OF THE DAY IS COMMUNICATE - something Overstock.com don't have a clue about.

    I ordered 2 bathroom rugs from Overstock based on their website using my points and credit card. When I received items I found the color wasn't anything close what showed on the website. The items were received stuffed and I mean stuffed into a plastic envelope which had a tear and you could see the color. I was not able to locate another plastic envelope and I purchased a small box and returned items (using Overstock return label). Overstock received the return and Overstock decided to give an in-store credit which I was never advise about this procedure. When I called and asked about my credit I was told I had approved an in-store credit which was a lie.

    I do not like ordering things online from any company for the same reason too many problems. I had to demand my money put back on my credit card. Where is the integrity of the company? I will get my money back after much debating with the CSR and had to call twice. The 1st CSR was not in the mood to deal with anyone. (After 9 min she could give any answer on my return.) I will have think very hard before I make another purchase from Overstock.

    I ordered a rug which their website site said would ship in 1-2 business days. After a week I received an email saying my rug shipped, but when I clicked the tracking button in the email it went nowhere. I went to the website and logged in. After drilling down the site said the rug was “awaiting” pick up by the shipper. I checked back every couple of day and now 10 day after ordering the rug, it still listed as Awaiting pick-up by the shipper. I used online chat to talk the “customer service” but they had no ability to know if the rug shipped. She could only pass along the issued to another department, who would get back to me in 2-3 business days. In summation buy a rug from Amazon, instead.

    This company sent my package to my old address (moved from Kentucky to Florida). A customer service person said it was because that address was attached to my Payment type??     I WOULD GIVE THIS 0 STARS!!! This is the worst company to deal with. They do not care for customers. I purchased a fan on a Saturday night. A few minutes later a cancelled the transaction because I found it way cheaper on another site. I was informed that it was too late that it has been shipped. I find that impossible. I called to cancel order they would not, I asked about matching the price they couldn't because I was not an Club O member which you have to pay $20 for it.

    After going back and forth they offer me the member for free so they can match the price. Once I asked to match the price Overstock would not match it because it can not be a third party vendor. They would not explain this to you. I'm sure they use the same vendors for the merchandise. Overstock would rather lose business this way instead of working out with a returning customer. This is my last time I would buy from this place. NEVER AGAIN. BEWARE. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

    On September 10 of 2020 I ordered a mirror for my small business. Because of COVID-19 I was already struggling to re-open and was forced to find another location to meet my clients, Along with that came purchasing some furniture that I needed for my new space. This order in particular was for a oversized mirror. After waiting to receive the mirror for two weeks I finally contacted Overstock because I thought it was odd I hadn’t received my item yet. I text their customer service number and they informed me that somebody would be with me in 2 to 4 business days. Which I thought was pointless and inconvenient. The next day I got an email from UPS saying my order had been shipped and it would take 24 hours for the shipping information to update. Later that evening I got a another email from Overstock saying that my item has been shipped and they apologize for any inconvenience because normally takes about 10 days.

    A week later, shipping information still has not updated. My credit card was charged and now I’m paying interest on a item that I don’t even have. I contacted their customer service again and they gave me the same answer somebody would be with me in 2 to 4 business days. I will never shop at Overstock again. I had some items come in from overseas from another company before overstock was even able to give me an answer about my item. It’s now September 30th And I still don’t have an answer. I asked for a refund and cancel my order but the customer service rep said that was impossible because their item had already been shipped out of their warehouse. That’s not my problem. I want my money back.

    I have used Overstock in the past and have returned things in the past but today ended my association with Overstock! I had a $1200 table to be delivered this afternoon and the driver of the contract delivery company couldn’t find my address on gps. He called and I attempted to explain that we were a new area and if he would put in the street name one street over it would be in there. He couldn’t understand me and asked me to text which I did. He then got confused about everything and his dispatcher told him he had been instructed to not deliver because of the zip code discrepancy of WHICH THERE WAS NONE! HE HAD THE RIGHT ADDRESS AND THE RIGHT ZIP CODE. This is where OVERSTOCK comes in. I called them and the person said he would connect me with the delivery service and assured me he would stay on the line. When I finished the unsatisfactory conversation with the delivery service, HE WAS NOT ON THE LINE!!!

    SO, I CALLED OVERSTOCK BACK. This person said we had a bad connection and would call me back BUT DIDN’T!!!! I called back and this one assured me he would talk to the delivery service and have them deliver today and would call me back in 10 minutes BUT HE DIDN’T! I called back and told this person to just CANCEL THE ORDER AND THE OTHER ONE I HAD COMING. She said she would put in the cancellation requests and call me back in an hour to confirm. GUESS WHAT — SHE HASN’T. I have never reported a company like this, but I have NEVER HAD THIS POOR OF SERVICE!!! Amazon and Wayfair have no trouble delivering to me. What money does Overstock save using someone who can’t deliver??? DONE!!!

    I ordered a carpet and realized Overstock had my old address. I called within an hour of ordering and the rep said they don’t change after shipping. I said there is no way this is being shipped as it has only been an hour. She agreed and said it should not be a problem to change address. A few days later I saw it was now being shipped to the wrong address and after many, many calls with them telling me to call FedEx, the item indeed was delivered to the wrong address. There was no one to assist me at all.

    I ordered sneakers on Overstock. They sent the wrong size and when I tried to return - they told me to contact the seller (I thought overstock was the seller). I tried to contact the seller to no avail (emailed and called several times). Then I chatted with overstock who said to contact the seller. (I DID). Ugh.. They said if no one responds to get back to them. I did and then got email from overstock that the seller said the issue was resolved. It is not. And then chatted with overstock who says contact the seller.. Going in circles and no one is helping me. Soooo frustrating... lesson learned... Amazing that companies can get away with this.

    I bought a bed frame using Overstock.com but the bolts with the product were defective, they didn't fit the screws. Overstock sent me to the manufacturer for replacement parts. The manufacturer was not responsive, so when I asked for a refund and shipping label so I can return the product (per overstock's return policy), Overstock said they can't give a refund for this item as it was sold by a seller through them. They said I have to get it from this unresponsive seller. There was no indication of this caveat when I made the purchase.

    Ordered an office chair and folding table from Overstock. Products listed as new. What I received was not new. Repackaged, mismatched packing material, loose parts, scratches (minor but enough to tell me the products I purchased are not new). One of the items was advertised as a table set (table and chairs) with pictures to match. Only table arrived. I tried to leave a review. It was never published and the table immediately went out of stock. This experience was enough for me to attempt to close my Overstock account. I would no longer purchase from a company that relies on scamming to sell their products. As of today (9/7/2020) I am still not able to close my account.

    I made 16 requests, I filled the forms they provide, I filed a BBB complaint. Overstock refuses to deactivate account. Multiple reasons were provided: 1. Cannot deactivate due to tax purposes. That is a lie. All major retailers offer account deactivation while retaining back-office information for tax purposes. 2. Privacy reasons. Original request made while logged in account, all subsequent requests made from the email registered to account. I was unable to receive a response from Customer Service as for the nature of the privacy issues that prevent Overstock to remove a customer account made by the customer themselves. 3. A customer service representative advised (twice) to enter fake information in my account and fake email address to stop email spam. That is a violation of Overstock's TOC. When creating an account, the customer certifies all information is correct and legal.

    By entering fake information, the customer forfeits their right for legal action against Overstock by violating their TOC. The customer is not informed of that fact. A clever way to prevent dissatisfied customers to seek legal action. If you have been advised to violate your own rights unknowingly, please file the appropriate complaints with BBB and FTC. Do not purchase from Overstock!

    I purchased a chandelier for $600 and there were no written instructions. I contacted Overstock repeatedly, and eventually the manufacturer. No help with written instructions. I paid for 2 different installers and an electrician and nobody could figure it out. 9 months later, I have to throw it away and Overstock would not help with any store credit.

    Signed up, joined rewards club and was given a credit limit. Ordered a recliner but due to poor customer service on a subsequent call, decided to cancel purchase. About a month later, receive a statement from them. Call up and was told rewards club was not cancelled. Cancelled that. Then receive a paper bill from their 'bank' saying I owed a balance. Just got off the phone with them and apparently because did not cancel the rewards club membership, (which I presumed I had done with late July call), within certain time frame, still owe for a month of their service even though I never received a product from them and to my knowledge, never received any benefit from their company.

    So, being over a barrel, my credit score is worth more than the "balance" they claim I owe. Quite deceptive in my mind. Thought I had cancelled everything back in July. Be careful of this company as they will find a way to get money from you even when you receive no benefit from them. Apparently one has to double cancel an order in order to cancel an order. Two thumbs down in my book!

    On May 28, 2020 I received an order from Overstock.com. (order #**) A recliner chair that was from a whole-seller, Acme Furniture in Southern California (model #Item #20705389). In July of this year, two months after receipt, the footrest would not stay down. The latch mechanism broke. I called Overstock to get a repair or replacement. They informed me that their policy was 30 days only and there was nothing they could do. They didn't even offer an apology and in fact were very rude.

    After several weeks, now August with the defective unusable recliner, they told me to call Acme, the wholesaler. After filing a complaint with the BBB they said in essence to pound sand. Yesterday, September 2, 2020 the recliner now is tilting at least four inches to the left and has now become totally unsafe and unusable. So, just a little over 3 months after purchase I have a recliner that I cannot even give to "Goodwill". It has become land fill and I am out almost $400. That may not seem like much to many but when you have a disability, seventy-one years old and on fixed income; it is a lot of money wasted.

    I'm sure Overstock.com and Acme furniture sell products that are good and not all are defective; however, I'm sure I know why they sell products so cheap, as they buy products that mostly come from China and never, ever would be purchased for resale by a reputable retailer who stands behind their products. So if you want to roll the dice and wind up getting a defective product, you better hope it breaks down within 30 days. Let the buyer beware before choosing Overstock as your retailer.

    Please make sure you check the whole item you purchase. I purchased a soaker tub by Vanity. It was delivered in a huge box, I opened the box and checked the tub for cracks or damage. Nothing seen, Remodeled my bathroom with a new floor and tile. When ready to put the tub in we turned the tub over to make sure the leveling legs were set. That was when we noticed that 3 of the 6 legs had damaged or missing welds. When I called them they said, "Sorry. It is past the 30 days for returns" and they couldn't do a thing. Never realized you had to actually check the actual construction of the item. Will never buy from Overstock again. PLEASE BEWARE.

    I purchased a Sunjoy 10x10 Gazebo with Netting and Khaki Canopy from Overstock on August 11,2020 for $300 Order# **. I was told it would be arriving on August 24, 2020. I was given a tracking number. When I click on the tracking number it confirms that it has been shipped was at the UPS location where I live. I never received it. My husband called Overstock last night on August 27, 2020 and spoke to a Customer Service Rep. He was informed that it actually never shipped and was out of stock but his debit card was charged the $300. She said she would check the warehouse and call him back in 4 days to confirm.

    I am very upset as to why Overstock would let us purchase an item that was out of stock and then send us a tracking number to an item that was never shipped and then charge our debit card. If we would have never called to track this item I guess it would have just been in limbo and we would have never received an updates. I am highly upset with Overstocks lack of communication and customer service and will never recommend or do business with Overstock again. I had to call them again today to cancel my order. They said it would be 6 to 8 business days to refund me. I finally had a supervisor credit our account.

    On August 13th, 2020 I ordered a bed and it never came on the 20th of August. I call the day of the 20th to find out where my bed is and no one could locate the bed... Overstock blamed it on UPS, then it got lost in the warehouse. I never got a clear answer on what happened. Oh and all of a sudden the bed I wanted was out of stock. The first order sat in processing for over a week. I was so upset because I had purchased furniture and decor to go with the frame and now I don't have a bed. And now I have to return all of this stuff because I don't have the bed. Then I decided to try again.

    I look on their website and found a bed frame the same color, different style. I order it and its supposed to be here on the 28th. Again, my order is in the processing stage, meaning my bed is not going to arrive at the time stated. I call in and I am told to give them 5-10 business days to locate my new order. I am not going to sleep on the floor another 2 weeks while they figure it out. Moving is already frustrating, this company has made my move a nightmare. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM OVERSTOCK AGAIN!!!!

    In May, 2020 I attempted to order a gift for a family member. As soon as the order was processed I found out the beds I had ordered were not what they wanted so I attempted to cancel the order within an hour of the order. I had not received a confirmation. Because we were in the middle of the pandemic, there were no staff available to assist, I left messages about the problem and no one responded or acknowledged.

    Today, 8/20/2020 I finally got a written response from my numerous conversations with at least three customer services reps who indicated they would resolve my issue. Bottom line, I am being charged $126.61 to return a set of bunk beds that I tried to cancel within an hour after I ordered the item. This company has very poor customer service and is not willing to help and is not flexible. As a customer, you are the person who is wrong. If you choose this company, read the fine print but it is better to just stay away. They do not answer questions or concerns.

    I purchased an umbrella base through Overstock, received an email the item shipped with a tracking number. I opened the link the next day and noticed it was still at the "label created" stage. I waited a few more days and tried again, still at "label created". After about a week of no status update, I called. They said the item shipped and they would put a trace on it and asked me to give them 3-4 days. If it came back that it was list, they would reship the item and I was given a new order number. I waited and finally the new order showed on the system and the old number showed as refunded. I didn't actually get a refund, but guess they had to do that to open the new order. 10 days later, the status was "at the warehouse", so I call again. I was told it's being filled. I asked if generally takes 10 days. She opens up a new case and the email I get today is that the item is not available and I would receive an email. I have been waiting at least 6 weeks for them to tell me they don't have the product, I will never order from them again.

    We have spent several hours on the phone with Overstock over the past few days in an attempt to track down the sectional that we paid for and ordered a few weeks ago. I don’t wish to revisit the entire timeline, but as a consumer I feel the need to weigh in with how we feel this process has been handled. To date, we’ve paid for a product which Overstock.com advertised as in stock and was contractually obligated to provide to any buyer. This transaction was executed in good faith on our part, and as with any consumer purchase was based upon the implicit assurance from Overstock that the product and process were legitimate. Likewise, Overstock.com processed our payment promptly and provided multiple updates as to the delivery date of our purchase.

    Our feeling at this point is that the process may be little more than a scam. Overstock.com has taken our money without providing a product — or even a reasonable explanation — of any sort. This has been nothing less than a colossal failure on the part of Overstock.com with regard to the delivery of our purchase. In an age where EVERY department in a large corporation is connected to one another, we have been handed off from department to department with no resolution whatsoever... and not even an attempt to provide a concrete answer. It’s almost as though Overstock is actively seeking to avoid any and all responsibility for their actions... even the responsibility of providing us with a response. There has been absolutely ZERO urgency whatsoever on the part of the company to provide anything other than a runaround.

    Just like all the other customer reviews below there are so many similarities. I am wondering if Overstock.com is actually training their employees to give the consumer the run around when they do not deliver the products the consumer purchases! This entire affair has forced us into a considerably disadvantageous position, and has been a major inconvenience for ourselves and our family. We have requested a refund, filed a formal complaint with the BBB and will also be filing a complaint with our state AG and consumer affairs division. Enough is enough Overstock.com!

    Table made by GoPlus and sold by Costway which is a third party vendor to Overstock. The top to this small table was very difficult to attach and would not stay attached. I wanted to exchange it for one that wasn’t defective. (I found out later that I am not the only one to have this problem with this table.). I emailed Costway many times but never got a reply. They told Overstock that they had sent me an email but I never received it. Apparently they had an incorrect email address. I tried to call them per the instructions on the order information that said, "Please call the number below." Below it said: Phone Number: N/A. I also spoke with Overstock several times and was told each time that either a return label or the forwarded email from Costway would be Emailed to me and I should hear something within 24 hours. Crickets!! Never was I contacted by either company!!

    I will NEVER do any business with Costway again and I will think long and hard about Overstock! Overstock kept passing the buck back to Costway. I feel like Overstock should stand up for their customers since I was not getting any satisfaction from Costway and they could see that in their records. Consequently, I would recommend that you avoid this table as well as Costway and GoPlus.

    I ordered a recliner from Overstock, and the back wouldn't properly go into the base. Then the chair started ripping at the seams on the footstool part. I contacted overstock and they told me they weren't responsible for the chair, someone else was. Now I'm dealing with a company I know nothing about who send me generic emails. Doesn't "overstock" mean that it's in stock? The product is still showing available online. Then, we have to call to cancel - a 15 minute wait on hold.     Placed an order on Overstock on 7/22 for some live plants - they shipped, and are clearly lost by the USPS. The USPS website shows the plants were sent from California to Memphis, where I live, then shipped back to California - where they now sit. Overstock says they can't do anything about the issue until they run a trace - I showed them the tracking number that they provided and the trace information and asked them to either refund my money or re-ship the product - they refused - and said they would need to reach out to the shipper. As a consumer, that's not my issue. I purchased from Overstock, they have not delivered the product as described, nor will they provide a refund - this is the second time I have ordered from Overstock.com - and the 2nd problem I have had - NEVER again - or as the old saying goes -buyer beware when ordering here.

    Ordered two rugs mid June, both were scheduled to deliver within a couple of weeks. One of the rugs arrived fine, no problems there. The second rug listed as having shipped within a reasonable amount of time... However, when I checked the tracking information, the shipping company said the tracking number was not valid. After the delivery window had expired (with the same tracking number), I contacted customer service, after lots of fawning apologies, they said they had ordered a trace, and I should hear back in 1-2 business days. A week later, after hearing nothing from them, I contacted them again, same fawning apologies, I'm told that the trace was not initiated 'till a week after my first contact. Still not resolved, I've contacted my CC company, and disputed the charge for the item.

    I purchased a bunk bed last month for my grandkids to use when they are at my house visiting. It came in TERRIBLE condition. I spoke with staff at Overstock.com numerous times about the situation and was misinformed of the procedure multiple times. I have spent hours and hours trying to get the situation resolved, and here it is still a MONTH later, and I have no bed, and I am out my money (almost $700) and can't even try to get a bed from them elsewhere. I even spoke with a supervisor in the escalation department who told me they need to process paperwork and someone will come pick the bed up. I will have to wait even longer now. I told the supervisor that this is very WRONG AND UNFAIR to loyal customers like myself.

    I have nothing to show for this purchase but a lot of aggravation! I wish I could post pictures of the bed. Nobody even cared that the person suffering for the situation was the customer. They offered me nothing. I even told the supervisor that I am going to write a bad review on their site, etc and that I will never give them my business ever again - he said "ok". Unreal!

    I ordered my set on July 3rd and received the table on July 8th with an e-mail confirmation that my full set had arrived. However, the chairs never came. After two weeks of calling and 6 different contacts with customer service, countless reassurances that "my case was escalated" and "you will get a call back still today" (never happened!), I was finally told that the chairs are in fact out of stock. I have been lied to for 2 weeks and have waisted many hours of my time. What an unprofessional experience. Never again!

    Zero stars should be an option! Customer service is nonexistent and I believe it's intentional to get you to give up and go away. We ordered a rug, liner, and 2 ottomans. The ottomans and liner were delivered by UPS with no issue. The rug was over sized and had to be delivered by freight. The company called and set up a four hour window. The item was delivered 3 hours late, thanks for wasting my day. When we unrolled the rug, after the delivery guy dropped it and ran, we noticed a large grease stain.

    As we were cleaning it we noticed it was also cut. I contacted Overstock to return the item and get my money back. After a 1/2 chat I was told everything was taken care of and would receive a return label in my email. Nope, not for the rug. It's oversized and couldn't be returned, had to be escalated. But that's NOT what I was told. A week later, I'm still trying to resolve this so I can get my money back. I keep being told someone will contact me. Well, I'm contacting my bank!

    I have never had an experience like I’ve had and am still dealing with ever. I’ve had some bumps with companies but they always made it right pretty quickly. Overstock could not give two you know what. I ordered a desk chair on July 1st. Estimated delivery was for July 13th. I get tracking the next day July 2nd. Great. Well the tracking does not update at all. I check daily my husband and checks. Finally on July 10th I figured I’d call just to check and get an update. The guy said, "Oh I will send UPS a request to update tracking. It is on track to get to you by Monday July 13th (first lie)." So Monday rolls around, tracking still never changed and no chair. Of course I call again. The girl calls UPS, transfers me, gives the tracking number to them then proceeds to hang up fine.

    UPS then tells me, "Ma’am we have not received the item yet. I can’t update you on a delivery date until we have it. You will need to call Overstock back and see when they plan to get it to us." So I’m getting pretty upset that I was lied to on Monday. I call back, we go back and forth and I decided I wanted to cancel and wanted my money back and did not want to do business with them as they did seem to care or put any effort into helping me. The girl told me it was canceled and I would get a refund in 2-5 business days. I then order the chair from elsewhere.

    On Wednesday July 15th I go to check my Overstock account just to make sure it said canceled as the status. Well imagine my surprise when I see delayed as a status. Of course I call. They said text was faster so I did so since I was heading into work anyway. The girl on the text says no your order is not canceled. They are trying to track down the item. Take note to lie number 2! I call them once I get home and the girl says, "Oh I see you have an open case." I said, "Okay so I want to confirm my order was canceled and I will be receiving my refund." She said yes it is. I asked her what day was it canceled she goes, "Quite then says Monday." I said, "Great so I will be getting my refund hopefully by July 17th this Friday then correct?" She says yes should have it by then (take note of lie #3 guys).

    I then receive an email today July 16th that says they are trying to track down the darn item they can’t cancel since it was shipped!!! When it was confirmed on a recorded line that UPS never received the item from them it never shipped. Overstock seems to be full of liars. Their customer service in non existent. If you have an issue with an order this is not the company I would want to deal with. I just want my money back that’s all. I’ve spent hours dealing with this and stressing about getting this gift in time for my little sister's birthday. I now had to pay for express shipping to get it in time because Overstock screwed me over. Please just go elsewhere. It is not worth the headache and gamble ordering from them.

    Placed an order for TV trays on 07/01/2020 Order # **. On 07/10/2020 the TV trays arrived. Two of the four trays were damaged. 1. Contacting customer service was a nightmare! 800 customer service number said because of covid-19 customer service was being done by at home reps or by text message. 2. Text messages was very difficult because a lot of the responses were “Sorry, that wasn’t in a format I understand.” 3. I received different text messages from three different numbers: ** and **. 4. Along with text messages several emails were sent to me. 5. I received an email with a shipping return label for the damaged trays that I was required to print off—With no home printer!

    6. By email I was told to box the damaged trays apply the label and return the box to UPS or a UPS store. 7. I didn’t feel comfortable going out in public being exposed to covid-19 so I asked for a call tag to be arranged. I was refused. 8. Because I had to print the shipping label; box up the two damaged tray and be exposed to covid-19; I decided to return all four trays instead of two. 9. I loaded the four tables and hardware. Exposed myself to possible covid-19 and headed to the ups store. I thought ups would provide a box for shipping but I ended up paying almost $35 for a box!

    10. By email I received an 800 # to call. I placed the call requesting that the replacement trays be canceled because I didn’t want to be exposed to covid-19 again from shipping these trays back. 11. Replacement trays were in transient and scheduled not to be delivered until July 20th, 2020. Customer service said the replacement order could not be canceled! 12. I talked to my awesome ups delivery guy and he rerouted the replacement trays back to Overstock.com saving me from more exposure to covid-19.

    13. I placed several calls to customer service; emails and text messages. In the end I handled the issue of the shipment of replacement trays by talking my awesome ups delivery guy! 14. Supervisor Jordyn via email warned me “That in the future cancellations are not guaranteed and returns will need to be delivered before we can assist with the return.” I’m not sure what Jordyn feels that she assisted me with? Jordyn thinks I will order from Overstock again; I guess! 15. I have all the emails and text messages if you require facts to back up my statements. 16. I was treated by customer service like I was the one that damaged the two trays.

    After having their CC for years, and paying on time every time, I learned they have been assessing late fees because their system is set up to screw the customer over. You can't set up an auto pay and when you set up a payment in advance, they will change your minimum payment due by a few dollars to charge you a $40 late fee. Their customer service is horrible, spend 30 mins on the phone with three different rude people that wouldn't resolve. BBB claim was started. Would not recommend their card or credit services and I will never buy from them again.

    I am furious with this company. I have been shopping online incessantly to furnish my new house and this is the ONLY company that has been a problem. I ordered a mirror because it was FREE SHIPPING - but that's a lie. They NEVER delivered the product at all. I waited and waited and was watching the tracking and see it sitting in the same place for over a week, then to the next place where it sits for weeks and ultimately tracking says "returned to shipper."

    I then contact Overstock to find out what happened. I'm told I have to contact some other company who supplied the product and ultimately that I have to pay a $150 return shipping fee because I never set an appointment for delivery. No one ever told me such a thing was required. No one ever contacted me for an "appointment" and I never received the product! I am fuming angry. I have received ZERO refund. IMO, this is theft. They have stolen $350 from me for a product that was never delivered. I will never buy from this company again and warn anyone to be careful. If I could give -5 stars I would.

    Never purchase from this company. If you ever receive an incorrect or damaged item customer service will be rude and unhelpful. Very unreliable and the quality of most of their products leaves a lot to be desired. Amazon, QVC, Walmart, Target are all much better companies. Overstock is awful.     I became a loyal Overstock customer shortly after I purchased my very first house nearly 20 years ago. Now, after several new houses and countless redecorating projects, I no longer place my trust in this company. Customer service is nearly non-existent. They force you into texting or using a chatroom to discuss any issues. Most recently I received a rug that was clearly defective, had been CLEARLY returned by a previous customer and then sent to me. I was in a chat with a rep for over an hour just to process an exchange thanks to the delay in response every time I typed in a new sentence regarding the issue. I won't get into the gritty details but seriously: the entire fiasco was a major pain in the rear end.

    When I finally received my replacement rug I was disappointed to discover that it, too, was just as defective as the first. At this point I didn't even bother to complain. My time is far more valuable than arguing with yet another customer service rep - a process that would likely take considerable time out of my life that I'll never get back.

    I'm not here to state that Overstock doesn't have good products because it does. Just be mindful that you need to proceed at your own risk. Shipments may be delayed. Customer service is nearly non-existent. Damaged products you have spent your hard-earned money on could very well land on your doorstep. Some just aren't worth the hassle of re-packaging and returning. I have received FAR BETTER service from Amazon and Wayfair. I now only order from Overstock if a product I really like is priced well and even then I cross my fingers hoping it will not arrive damaged. Come on Overstock. You can do better....you just choose not to.

    We ordered the Split King adjustable bed and 2 twin XL mattresses. We were kept up to date by UPS on delivery. When delivered all we received were the mattresses. I went to my email from Overstock that says, "Congratulations your order is delivered!" Tried to contact them, only way was text. Texted them and waited. Finally got an agent and explained the order was missing the adjustable bed frames and bases. Their response was, "Ok give us 2 Business days to reach seller and then another 3 business days to get back with you IF they have the parts." What?! For $1400 they had better have the parts. There was no concern, just basically, "Oh well have a nice day." Awful service.... the mattresses alone aren’t worth $1400.... I wish I had ordered from Sleep Number....

    I don't even know where to begin!! I applied for the Overstock credit card and was approved, so I started shopping. When I checked out, it should have been placed on my Overstock account.. They took the 1,792.29 out of my PERSONAL BANKING ACCOUNT. Now, first of all, why would I apply for store credit if I could pay for it in full... I can't. Now, my account is past drawn for the SECOND TIME. I never authorized my debit card for this purchase. I contacted the CEO and I got an email back from a manager with no resolve. She basically repeated EVERYTHING I had already stated in the email to the CEO. I called my bank to fix this because it's FRAUD. I have NO PROBLEM paying for my items, I wanted to make payments on them.

    In the interim of all of this, they cancelled one of the items, which was the Caleb Gray Fabric Sectional Sofa Chaise with USB Charger and Tablet Pocket listed for $894.49 and the 5 Year protection plan for $59.99 for a total of $986.91. After cancelling it, they STILL took the money out of my account!! WORST COMPANY I have ever had to deal with. I will take my business elsewhere, and so should you. I never authorized this company to take money from my bank account... I never entered my debit card number in for this transaction. Overstock is MONEY hungry and they do NOT care about customer service. Such a shame. Go to Wayfair or Ikea. You have been warned- they illegally take money from people's personal accounts.

Called Overstock again. Talked to customer service again. This time I was assured we would get our refund. Next day in a email I was told I would have to cancel my dispute to get my refund. Call Overstock again and talked to a supervisor and was told they could not do anything unless I cancelled my dispute. I'm no longer a customer and will not recommend anyone buy from Overstock.     I ordered two shelving units from Overstock.com. It was on that site that I found the best quality for the lowest price. One of the shelves arrived a few days late but the other box was sent all over the country by UPS and I couldn't get UPS to finally send it to me after 2-3 weeks of phone calls to multiple people.     I purchased vinyl tile from Overstock, the color looked good on the website. However, when I received the package, the color looked faded. The tile is vinyl but it is suprisingly heavy. I asked for return and refund. Pre-paid shipping label cost $121. My purchase cost $250. So, I had to pay almost 50% of the cost of my purchase to ship it back. Therefore, I do not recommend to buy vinyl tile from that company. Because if you do not like the color of your flooring, you had to spend a lot of money to ship it back and lose a lot of money.

    I purchased an oversized wall clock from Overstock. I’ve heard many positive experiences from friends so I decided to make my purchase from them. I ordered and was given a delivery date that was a week away, which was fine. The day of delivery was changed to the following Monday, also fine. I received an email from Overstock that my package arrived, which it didn’t. They had all the correct information. My problem begins with a company that has no customer service department to talk with anyone. You’re to send a text or chat. I didn’t see any chat on the companies website so I sent a text.     I warn you. If you purchase a product from here it is NOT guaranteed that you will receive it or that Overstock.com even has the product in stock. They will take a few days to tell you that the item is out of stock and that your order is cancelled. They have a very poor process for keeping track of the amount of merchandise that they have in the warehouses.

    I purchased a desk and it showed that there were 8 of these in stock when I purchased, then after I had made my purchase the number dropped to 7 (makes sense) however about 5-6 days later I received a text and email detailing the item was 'in high demand' and that they could not ship it to me and it was out of stock thus cancelling my order. I spoke to a representative and she stated that there was a 'short shipment' meaning that the information on the website was incorrect based on the amount of merchandise in the warehouse. They clearly need to take inventory more often and keep up with the accurate number of merchandise they have available. I'm very disappointed and I don't think I will ever purchase another product from here again. If I were you I would do the extra research and try to find it elsewhere before resorting to Overstock.com.

    Overstock sent me curtains that they do not even sell on their website. I ordered these Gracewood curtains and to my surprise was sent curtains that look similar but are definitely NOT what is advertised. They sent me cheap Chinese knock off curtains called Olivia Gray. I wanted to think maybe Overstock just accidentally sent me the wrong ones, but they do not even carry an Olivia Gray brand on their website.

    I looked up these curtains online, and apparently they are sold through Walmart.com for $20. So not only was I sold Walmart curtains, I was significantly over-charged for them. I tried to initiate a return by phone, but Overstock does not have agents at this time. I then tried to print a label and they want me to pay $14 to return them! Not to mention the quality of these curtains is insulting. The stitching is coming loose everywhere, the color is not even close to taupe, and the beads are not even the same length. The fabric quality is laughable, and I would not even buy these from Walmart for $20. If I wanted my house to look cheap, I would just shop at Walmart. How is this even legal? Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

    Ordered dark grey couch, was charged twice. Canceled one couch. Confirmed for shipping. 2 weeks later was refunded due to out of color. Ordered light grey, shipped and supposed to arrive today and was 20 mins away. Overstock had it sent back to them. No way to contact a real human and did not contact me with any explanation. Went from Ca to Wi literally 20 mins from me and they recalled it.

    I contacted UPS to see if maybe it was damaged in transit and that was it maybe. No, they explained, no reason was given, Overstock just contacted them to return to CA. Now I have company coming in days. I thought a month and a half was plenty of time to receive a couch while I remodeled. Nope, not when dealing with Overstock.     I went to the website, spun the coupon wheel and got 15% for it, then I activated that coupon. After I placed my payment information and submitted my order I got a message from my bank saying that I was charged a lot more than my total after taxes. Then it took me about 20 minutes to get someone to chat with me and after I explained my case and the person checked what happened, I was told my coupon was not applied and that my coupon had to be "manually" placed by the customer service person.

    The next thing I did was refresh my order page to see if the price on my order was updated but it was not. At this moment the customer service person wanted to get rid of me and just offered a case number to follow up, and an explanation "I was not going to be able to see the change because the coupon was applied "manually"." Finally, before I was brushed of I had to ask when would I see my chargeback and was told from 3 to 5 business days and to contact my bank (ridiculous). Horrible shopping experience. Good thing that I took screenshots of everything in case Overstock does not refund me and I have to file a claim with my bank.

    We ordered a home desk and chair only to be very disappointed in both products. The drawer on the desk does not work properly and the chair is terribly uncomfortable. This company rips you off if you need to return an item regardless of the issue. The chair alone is $30.00 to return so we will just deal with that.     I have been a customer since 2009, I have made numerous transactions since 2019. Recently I ordered patio furniture and a gazebo that I will not regret. Afterward, I ordered a set of chairs that were complete garbage. Now I am having trouble returning this product that turned to be shipped from China. This seller either doesn't understand that the product is crooked and damaged and I am not able to assemble it or he tried to force me to keep it and disregard my concerns after I shared tons of photos of the product.     I thought at this price point, I would get a quality chair. It started as a slight wobble, then got worse, and worse. The creaking got louder, and louder.     No customer service during CoVid! Issues with all 10+ orders! Literally ordered hundreds of items with Amazon and Wayfair and pleased with all! If an issue, it was quickly resolved. For every item ordered with Overstock, several issues and no communication except for getting caught in their vicious circle of algorithms! What a nightmare! Plus something I ordered through Walmart.com apparently was a third party order from Overstock which they now won’t return. Their deliveries are taking longer than that! They expect us to accept their hiccups during CoVid, but you must follow their rules, even though we couldn’t do anything! Check out how bad other reviews of Overstock are!

    Showed up late so I had to buy local. I have reached out to the international branch for directions on returns 4 times in 8 days and have not had a response. Their call in system doesn't allow for person to person communication. I have had success with the text but they simply inform me that the international branch would have to help me and they have forwarded me to their ques but I have yet to hear back through chat or email. Understandably with the pandemic, to a point.. but my last few orders- either the item is no longer available (6 week+ since order was placed) Or the expected delivery dates, when you place your order is delayed by weeks and months. So if you're ordering from them and hope to have it by a certain time, lots of luck! On May 10th I contacted Overstock to inquire about why my item doesn't say shipped and was told to contact the seller. After sending the seller an email on May 13th they finally responded stating the item will be shipped in two weeks. At roughly 10:30 pm on May 22nd I get an alert saying my item has been returned. Not only did the seller not hold up to their end of the deal, Overstock takes no part in doing business with faulty sellers. I spent almost a entire month waiting on a dining set that was never going to be delivered. Now at this point I have to start my search over again. Very very bad business Overstock! NEVER AGAIN!     I ordered $6000 in outdoor furniture and 2 weeks after placing my order I received multiple emails stating that there was internal delays at Overstock, and that if I didn't receive my order in 30 days they would automatically cancel them. I decided to wait and to my surprise, it said my orders were being shipped. I received the orders 5 weeks after they were ordered, which I was fine with, until I opened the boxes and found that they shipped the WRONG PRODUCT! The return and refund process has been fraught with issues and non-replies, resulting in me filing a dispute with American Express. One return issue was Overstock stating that I should use 1 shipping label on two separate furniture boxes and place both in 1 larger box. This is of course impossible and not the way it was shipped!! In this day of increasing levels of customer service with companies such as Amazon, I'm amazed that Overstock is able to conduct business in this manner.

    I purchase from Overstock because of their promotion, one year no interest. Purchase some furniture and had to return few and got some others in few days difference time. The customer service told me that all my purchases will be in the same promotion and I dare them to go and see the voice phone call that it suppose to be recorded too.

    First their furniture are not very strong and they are cheap looking and second they denied our conversation and divided my purchases and ask for interest charges and even the bank they working with Comenity Bank is even worst and they don't back up their customer and the truth. It was hard and I had to borrow but I pay them off and cancel my account and my card with their Comenity bank Too. I will never want to deal with them anymore. Is so many other great places to shop anyway. I felt I need to share that to others to be careful when they deal with Overstock or Comenity bank. Get everything in writing before you commit yourself to them. I wish I could return everything to them.

    Worst company ever if you have a problem with an order. Have sent multiple emails and nothing. Have called and listened to more recordings ... and nothing. I have one box of busted pieces and one MIA. This is ridiculous. Would never do it again.

    Ordered an item, received an email with the delivery date, called to cancel it. When I talked to the cancelation department they said, "You have two hours after you order to cancel, but yet you don't get your delivery date a couple days after you've ordered your item." Called the cancelation department. They said they could not cancel it, I had to wait to receive the item to return it. Overstock charges you to return an item, it's just a way of them making more money. Will never purchase from this company, terrible terrible customer service.

    I ordered a rug on the Overstock.com website and was excited to see how fast it would be delivered. I ordered on 05-06-20 the label was created and the rug was to be delivered on 05-14-20. So when it did not show up I went back to my account and saw that it had been shipped but once I went to the FEDEX site and tracked all it said was the label had been created but there was no ETA. So here it is 05-18-20 and I have tried and tried to contact customer service but you either have to text or email. Now there is a RMA on my account. I done. I just want my money back into my account.

    Never received a bed frame after 3 weeks of begging for info on shipping. Now I’m begging for a refund for an item I never received so I can buy it elsewhere. The bed I got from Overstock sits in a box and slowly expands in the Florida humidity as I wait for the bed frame that was supposed to be delivered 3 weeks ago. I am beyond disgusted with overstock's lack of customer service. And this was not a discount item but full price!

    I ordered a pool from Overstock on May 6 and was sent a confirmation with an ETA of May 22nd. I am just now today 5/15 receiving a message that my order has been canceled because it is out of stock. In the meantime, I was buying supplies for the pool and lost out on other pool options because I was counting on Overstock.

    Placed an order and charged $125 on April 21. Notification that item was shipped on April 30 with a tracking number. 2 weeks later UPS tracking states “label created” “waiting to receive” the item. Overstock.com Customer service Totally absent. I understand with a pandemic there will be delays but do not continue to run a business and take people’s money if you cannot keep up with the demand.

    I ordered a set of 2 bar stools. I only received one. When I attempted to return the item, the return label cost me more than $20. If the quantity is one, why they have a set of stools in the picture? It just doesn't make sense.

    I ordered an awning for my back door after much research. The awning arrived with box opened and missing hardware. Did not get a response from them by phone, chat, text or email. Tried to install it by buying hardware and discovered the back brace bare was pictured differently on their website so would not fit on my header. There was no dimension given for the brace of what spacing the screws had. Tried to return through online and discovered they charge $21.56 to return the item. No one to talk to with their customer service - they lost a customer since I will never buy from them again if it is this jaded for them to give any sort of customer service.

    I ordered an expensive couch on April 23, 2019. My daughter in law had one which I loved so I ordered it from Overstock.com. The cushions immediately were very spongy and would show your "butt print" when you stood up. But, I went with it, turning the cushions over every few days. About 11 months after getting the couch, I noticed one of the cushion covers opened at the back and when I tried to zip it back up, the zipper came off in my hand.

    I contacted Overstock about this problem and I even sent pictures. I was treated very rudely by the staff--they said I should have bought a warranty. Otherwise, they couldn't help me. WHO BUYS A WARRANTY FOR A COUCH??? I tried to contact them many times to plead my case but after the COVID-19 happened, the message said customer service agents were working from home and could only receive texts or emails. Don't phones work at these people's homes??? I tried texting and emailing and they just basically blew me off. I will never order from this fraudulent company ever again since they don't stand behind their products. There is no Customer Care at Overstock.com.

    I buy 12/12 as stated on my bill but received sample for my money. When I returned it they credit me 1/2 my refund and won’t answer the phone or to my email. I sent several email to Overstock no response. They text me and said open a case. I did but no response.

    I had a package delivered to the incorrect address by UPS, this was at no fault of Overstock. However, when trying to get this order replaced I attempted to contact Overstock over 6 times in the period of 3 weeks and was unsuccessful every time. I sent multiple emails that went unanswered, the "Chloe Beta" chat assistant would auto sign off the chat for me, and the contact number for the customer service phone line was shut off. Eventually I was able to get in contact with someone and it took over a month for a return to be sent again. Overall the process was very time consuming and frustrating.

    This has been the BEST mattress I've ever slept on. I love my mattress and every night when I lay down on my bed I am so thankful I went with this company. I will go back to Overstock when it's time for a new one... which will be a long time as this one has held up beyond any other I have had.

    I ordered an item on April 16th they said they had in stock. On the 23rd it said it shipped and would be here on the 3rd of may also was given a tracking number which I found out is false. So I call for new tracking number wait 6 hours for an animated response of we're closed try again tomorrow. Finally I get to talk to a real person that has no answers but promises she would stay in contact and she takes this very seriously. The only contact I've had with her is when I call 7 days and still zero answers. Horrible customer service. If somebody would shed the slightest bit of truth on the issue it would be a huge step up for this company.

    I ordered on April 28, 2020 from Overstock.ca. At the time I ordered 2 sets of sheets. I see that according to the UPS tracking number 1 set is delivered... to another country... They show delivered to Buffalo NY but I live in Nova Scotia Canada. The second set of sheets still show “processing at plant.” How do you charge for something that is still “processing?” My visa was charged for the entire amount of the purchase on May 3/20. As it seems from the reviews getting in touch with them is near impossible... This is my first order and it will most definitely be my last. I will make one more attempt today to reach them and also my Visa company. In the end I paid 114. And change for nothing.

    I purchased a set of bath rugs at overstock.com on 4/27/20. They arrived on 5/2/20. The rugs cost $35. I should have just went to Target. The quality was poor. Not plush at all. I submitted a request to return it. They charged over $13 for a shipping label. I opted to mail it myself. I changed my mind and wanted a label. Sending it yourself causes a significant delay in the refund. Unfortunately, I could not change my return method online. I clicked on the “message” button and was directed to a number via text message. It was not a live person. It was a robot. It told me there may be some delays and to be patient. The robot was sending me updates, and finally said “our business hours have ended.” Additionally, they are spamming me with promotional offers to my email. Save yourself the pain and anguish and shop elsewhere. They don’t care about their customers.

    The Overstock.com website pulled an old mailing address instead of the current address in the system. I tried to contact customer service to have them correct their mistake prior to shipping my item to an incorrect address. The only option for customer service is to send them a text. I texted them in the AM and they replied back that they would respond within 4 hours to my request. However, 6 hrs later they responded stating they were now closed and would get back to me the next day. I am still awaiting their reply. This is an unacceptable way to treat a repeat customer and is a very poor business practice.

    I ordered a mattress from Overstock on 4/22. The ETA was 5/2. I have not heard from anyone and there is not a way to contact anyone about the location of my mattress because it says processing. They took My $500 and I do not have anywhere to sleep now. Thanks for nothing, will never recommend anyone ordering from this site at all. Not worth the stress, just trash.

    On the low setting, the WIND blows more air in my window than this fan does. High setting is like the low setting on a REAL FAN!!! I don't think I'd trust Comfort Zone products ever again! Because it "works", Overstock wants to charge me Return shipping fees. I won't buy here again, or ANY Comfort Zone Products... Lesson Learned...
