    The item I ordered was lovely and arrived as expected. But the nonstop emails I received afterward were outrageous. Once Overstock had my information, the harassment was relentless. Loyal customers should not be treated this way. Overstock needs to stop bombarding shoppers with excessive emails—product quality is great, but this behavior is unacceptable.

    I ordered a 12 comforter set for $176.59 with 10% discount and the minute I completed the purchase, the same item popped up on sale for $135. Thinking that this new price was for just one color, I checked all three options and they all said the same price of $135. So I cancelled the first order and reordered the same item and it still didn’t give me the price of $135. So I called the next day and waited for 6 mins and to speak with a rep and when they finally answered, they just hung up the phone. Called back and now the wait time was 11 minutes and no matter what option I picked, they were all 11 minutes, so picking a number doesn’t really matter. So I finally spoke with a person and he stated that the web site must have malfunctioned, but the $135 was only for the black color. So he walked me though the web site and in fact each color was now different price this time.

    So after awhile, I went back to the same item and it was once again back to $135 for the color I wanted. So basically this is a bait & switch tactic.. Say it’s one price and you pay the other price. It’s been a very long time since I used Overstock.com as it was a very good company when it first started out, but after reading all the multiple complaints about poor and damage merchandise and charging to return items that were damage during shipping, etc. it appears they have dropped off the deep end of customer service & quality items they have, so I can’t be disappointed when I don’t receive a high quality item I ordered based on these reviews, so I’ll stick to Amazon & Wayfair where returns are free and item prices aren’t bait & switch and customer service is top notch!

    Unfortunately, I paid for the removal of my dryer and purchased a dryer with Overstock for delivery and installation. Instead, I received a dryer that was dented, it was not name brand, like I was promised, and they left my old dryer, they never installed the new dryer, instead they put it in my shed. I had to pay a contractor $120 to remove the old dryer and install the new Dyer, because the company overstock hired weren't able to get the job done. I asked overstock for a refund for the installation and for a damage refund and have been ignored.

    I hate to even give one star. This has been the worst retail experience I have ever had. I purchased barstools that turned out to be uncomfortable for my family (after assembling 1). I eventually got the return labels and paid $100 each for the 2 boxes to be returned. One box was sent back by the seller with a label saying "Hold Expired". The box has been sitting in my front hall now for a week and I can't get anywhere with them. Apparently they expect me to pay the $100 shipping fee again. The seller has no incentive to do anything and Overstock won't take responsibility.

    I purchased a two drawer filing cabinet with the wood finish and it was the worst. It was not easy to assemble and the drawers would not insert properly after several days of trying to put it together. The screws kept falling out along with some other pieces not staying together. I would not recommend.

    Although Overstock can have solid products and good pricing, IF you have an issue their customer service is terrible. They refuse to refund me for a rug pad they confirm they received back on January 3 but provided a 15% off coupon for my next purchase instead after shipping the wrong product to begin with. There will not be a next purchase!

    I will NEVER order from Overstock again. Loooong story…I was given an estimated delivery date of Jan 6th. Overstock failed to mention that date would be pushed back due to their shipping partner (CEVA Logistics) being closed for the New Year holiday… Apparently their New Year is on the 6th?? I called 3 times and sat on hold for 45 plus minutes while Overstock tried to reach their shipping partner CEVA logistics. No answer and no response to emails. I then called CEVA myself and was told two other estimated delivery dates only to not get my order on those dates. I called back and was only then told it would be further delayed because it was a large item that it required a special driver for delivery… It was a bed frame people… Not a US Army tank.

    4 estimated delivery dates total and the bed did not arrive on any of them! It finally showed a few days later! I received an email from a rep on the 16th!!! responding to my concerns about my ever changing delivery dates and lack of communication… I sent my original email on the 9th!! He assured me the bed would be arriving soon… It was delivered on the 13th 😒. Clearly no one is tracking the movement of products to customers among many other issues. I responded with all the above information and informed him that he was 3 days too late in ensuring me of my delivery… No response.

    Today is the 20th. I JUST received an email that my bed was delivered!!! 😂 When I go to track my order on the website it shows it was delivered on the 6th of January. A total MESS of a company AND their shipping partner CEVA Logistics. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a mind bending experience with any other retailer. -100/10 would not recommend. Do not pass go.

    Buyer be aware!!!! Their return policy is unjust and unfair. Over the years I've placed several orders with Overstock.com without a problem, no returns. For the first time an return was necessary, they gouged me with 20% deduction from refund. I no longer want to do business with Overstock.com or any of its affiliates.

    I ordered wallpaper for a remodel design project and several came that were not the color described. I needed to return them and they indicated they would charge me almost $300 in shipping fees for $600 worth of wallpaper. This was all online because I was never able to get ahold of customer service after trying 8 times and waiting hours to reach a live person. All of the wallpaper could be purchased on amazon with free returns. Please save your time and money! I will NEVER shop with bed bath and beyond /Overstock again!

    I was trying to purchase a area rug from Bed Bath and Beyond and there was a fluke in the system that dropped me into Overstock website where I had previously scrolled at other items: my area rug was in my cart at the time but what I believe was a bug picked up items that I didn’t authorize to purchase. I tried contacting Overstock immediately when I noticed I hadn’t received a confirmation from Bed Bath and Beyond but got email from Overstock confirming an order I did not authorize— although Overstock website indicates 24/7 chat service in attempting to chat or call the web link is broken.

    The next morning in Pacific time I called customer service and after almost 60 mins of trying to get to the bottom of this and through supposed escalation they told me item had shipped, mind you there’s no tracking number but according to them it’s on a truck despite UPS tracking indicates label created but items haven’t been picked up.

    This has been the most horrible experience either zero resolution: associate stated consulted manager and after I insisted in speaking with a supervisor he was just as bad. This company is misleading consumers, they absolutely do not care about customer concerns they state within policy which appears to be a blanket policy not based on individual situation. Bottom line because of a bug in their system, I must pay for return shipping cost on an authorized purchase. Absolutely absurd and in my opinion illegal. Warning to consumers be aware of Overstock transactions and horrific customer service. I intend to escalate this matter further! Ps. I was in awe when so called “supervisor” told me to prove was a flunk in their systems, I’m not IT sir! I just wanna cry!

    I purchased a Burberry tote and zipper pouch based on their authentic guarantee. The items I received are counterfeits. I contacted customer service and they refused to make it right. I have now filed a case through PayPal to see if they can help me.

    Worst customer service! Sent me the wrong color item in my order when I understood it was available online otherwise I would have ordered from another vendor and saved about $20. I waited on line for over an hour to hopefully resolve and have some of my money returned but decided to return the entire order. Won't be ordering from Overstock again.

    I purchased 4 dining chairs on Overstock during after Thanksgiving sales. When I tracked the order in the delivery due date, I discovered that it had been cancelled. I’d had no notice of it being cancelled so I called customer service. The agent said the warehouse canceled it due to being out of stock. I pointed out the chairs were still available, but now at a higher price. I was basically told that’s how it is. I asked for a supervisor and was told she was busy but would call me back.

    I waited until they were due to close and called them asking for that supervisor. She said she’d been busy. I went through the issue and her reply was that they were out of inventory when the first order was received, but then restocked and that they would not honor the sales price but I could reorder, and the best she could do was offer a 15% coupon. When asked, she said she was my last point of contact, and there was no one I could escalate the problem to. I wanted the chairs, so I reordered at the higher price. I checked the order today to find they’d once again canceled my order and again with no notice to me. I want to talk with someone who’s in management for Overstock but can only find the same customer service number. It all seems like incredibly bad business practices to me and is incredibly frustrating!

    Very disappointed. I ordered an ottoman because they said they could get it to me fast. They can't. It was supposed to have been here by Wednesday - it wasn't. Then the date was updated to Saturday and again, nope - still sitting in California where it's been sitting since I ordered it. It has not moved in six days. When I finally called, the agent told me that it would be at least Tuesday now and I have a feeling that date will change because UPS doesn't want to deliver an oversized order before Turkey Day.

    I'm traveling for the holiday, so now I'm calling friends to see if they're willing to help me out should it arrive while I'm away. They'll tell you anything to make a sale and then when things go sideways, it's the old "sorry, Charlie, there's nothing we can do." I just hope it arrives undamaged because I have a feeling it'll be another sorry, Charlie situation. I will never do business with them again, I don't care how good the deal appears to be. Ordering is the simple part, it's actually receiving your order and the state of said order when it arrives where the problems are, and sadly, they don't care - they have their money and that's all that matters.

    Overstock had a really nice selection, and the prices were better than what I found elsewhere. My order arrived on time and packaged well. The quality of the furniture was good, though the color was slightly different from the photos. Customer service was responsive when I had a question, which I appreciated. Overall, a smooth experience and I’d definitely shop here again.

    Tried to cancel an order. I was told it was cancelled and would not be charged. The item arrived a week later and was charged to my account. When I called to return it, I was told the cost would be $44. The item only cost $55. Total theft.

    I am beyond disappointed with my experience on Overstock. I purchased a rug that was very expensive, and when it arrived it was manufactured defective, completely uneven, and looked nothing like the quality they advertised. For the price I paid, this is absolutely unacceptable. To make things worse, the customer service was not helpful at all. Instead of helping resolve the issue, they kept giving me the runaround with slow responses and zero accountability. No real solution, no urgency, nothing. I’ve never felt so ignored by a company after spending so much money. Save yourself the frustration. I will never order from Overstock again, and I strongly recommend others think twice before buying anything from them.

    Do Not Shop Here! We ordered a sectional that arrived shrink-wrapped. When we opened the box, we discovered the fabric on one piece didn’t match the rest. We sent photos and requested a refund, which the company approved — but the shrink-wrapped cushions won’t fit back into the original box. Now we’re being forced to spend $127 on packing materials and deliver the sofa ourselves to a UPS location. We asked for a gift card to cover the cost, and they refused. Their customer service is disappointing, and it’s clear why this company has an overall 1-star rating. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

    I am so disappointed in how this went down. I went on to order a rug. (They did have the best price by far) I was asked to submit my email for an additional 15% off. (100$ off) I did this and never received a code. Called customer service, and spent 40 minutes on the phone. The representative said he would call me back within the day. He never called. I had the rug in my cart. Called back 2 days later. I had decided to just get it if I couldn't resolve issue as I didn't want the rug to disappear. The young woman I spoke with said they had been having trouble with the codes being sent. I went to order and it disappeared from my cart. That size was gone. I will now have to pay double. I wish the first rep would have just said they were having trouble. :(

    This was the first purchase I ever made at Overstock.com and it's my last. I purchased a queen size bed that was delivered in two boxes completely damaged and after unpacking, the bed itself was severely damaged. I took pictures, contacted Overstock.com the day of delivery, sent them the pictures of the damage, and have been waiting for weeks for a return authorization. After numerous phone calls to Customer Care and getting nowhere, I disputed the charges with my credit card company. Based on their written return policy, I should have received a return authorization immediately. Whatever you do, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS..

    I ordered a coverlet set and a shower curtain, totalling approx $98.00. Unfortunately, I need to return the items because the coverlet set didn't match my other decor, and the shower curtain is of cheap quality. No biggie, as I shop online quite often (just not with overstock.com in quite a while) and am used to having to return items from time to time. Well let me just say that I am beyond appalled that they want to charge me over $24.00 to return the items! I'm surprised they even have any business since their competition offers free returns. I will absolutely never shop with this company again! Wayfair and Amazon will continue to get my business!

    Have ordered a scooter. Paid with my credit card. Confirmed purchase has been paid. Overstock purchase recommended by a friend. Wow. What a mistake. Have attempted to get in contact with no success. Contacted my credit card company to reverse these charges. If unable guess my money is gone. Maybe they need it first than I do. Do not waste your time or money doing business with this company. Stay far away. Have ordered from other companies with no issues. Will continue with these other companies.

    If there is zero star for review. I would do it. Please stay away from Overstock.com. I ordered the item and pay for more than $100 USD, but when I received it. It looks very cheap, poor product and not as description that they advertised on their site. Lying, rip off, fool customers. When I call to request for return, they said that item is non-returnable. That's it. You paid already, now you deal with it. What a scam seller.

    This is the first time I've ordered from Overstock in many years, and it's definitely the last. I ordered 3 items, and my card was charged immediately. Over the next few days, I got emails that all three orders were being cancelled because none of the items were in stock. Fantastic! Then why are they on the website? Still waiting for my refunds. Overstock is a scam and garbage. Will never order from them again.

    I ordered what I thought was a full patio set and tried to cancel the order before it shipped when I discovered that it wasn’t the full patio set. They ignored me until after the item shipped. I returned the item and there they charged me $26 in shipping fees to return an item that I canceled before shipped. They're thieves. Do not do business with them.

    My wife and I ordered the MAISON ARTS Cast Aluminum Dining Chairs/Patio Dining Set with Round Dining Table & 6 Cast Aluminum Patio Chairs. We were excited to see that Overstock had an end of season giant sale at over 70% off. We both separately looked at the item we thought we were getting. We discussed it and each of us agreed that we were getting a full patio set with six chairs, based on our independent review of the Overstock.com website description for the product.

    When we added the product to our overstock.com shopping cart, the website stated that we had added the MAISON ARTS Cast Aluminum Dining Chairs/Patio Dining Set with Round Dining Table & 6 Cast Aluminum Patio Chairs to the cart, whose color was “2-Piece-Fixed Chairs.” We interpreted that as meaning we were getting whatever that color was on the chairs shown in the picture.

    We placed our order on 7/27/2025 for $337. No mention was made in the confirmation email that we had ordered only 2 chairs. Much to our surprise, instead of the full patio set, we received just 2 chairs. And for those 2 chairs, we were being charged the now ridiculous price of $337 – $168 per chair. That was certainly not a big end of season bargain at 70% off.

    We had no desire to have two chairs that don’t match anything. We initiated a return, requesting a full refund. Overstock.com refunded us $253 – the purchase price less $84 for shipping the 2 chairs back. We requested that overstock.com absorb the $84 shipping fee since the website was misleading. But they refused to refund us the shipping, saying it was their policy plus we (the customer) misread the website. Never again!

    Total Scam. Stay Away. The company is very deceptive and intentionally makes it difficult to see the return policy on an item and refuse to refund customers, even for broken, damaged, or fake items. The customer service is extremely unprofessional and they will hang up on you. Do not do business with this company. There are plenty of places online to find similar discounts. Do not be fooled by this site. Their service has increasing gone down and completely lost customer confidence. Don't waste your money.
