    I usually order clothes without an issue and they usually fit and are enjoyable. Every now and then, there is a faulty order and it's not delivered on time. I reach customer service, and they are helpful, but they are also unresponsive and quick to amend without actually amending. I just need to know when things are coming, and not have it assumed they are there when they are not.

    I didn't like the idea of ordering dancing shoes online but a friend talked me into it. Shoes arrived at the earliest date they gave me. When I tried them on with normal socks shoes were a little tight. Wore them dancing over the weekend with thin socks and these felt great.     When I ordered this electric blanket, I ordered the wrong PLUG. So I gave the company a message that I ordered the wrong PLUG. So since I am disabled senior, they sent me at no extra cost another electric blanket EU PLUG. SO this means that I now have TWO ELECTRIC BLANKETS WITH THE WRONG PLUG. Since I live in Canada it s/b a UK PLUG. GET IT.

    I placed an order and received it but they sent me the wrong item. I ordered 2 pairs of linen pants in black and white. I received the black ones but rather than sending me the same pants in white they sent me another pair of black pants in a different style. Of course I informed them immediately and requested that they just resend me the white pants that I ordered and that's exactly what they did. That's what I want to make very clear, they go to great lengths to make their customers happy. Especially when they goofed up. I haven't received the re-shipment yet but they have been shipped and I should have them probably by or before Monday 2/5.

    I'd also like to express how much I LOVE your products and your prices. I've ordered quite a bit now and overall I'm happy with my purchases. And I will Definitely be back for more. I may just place an order today. Your customer service is AWESOME. I have even sent a not very nice email and said some things that I shouldn't have and they responded with apologies and SOLUTIONS to my issues and That is why I'm still here and will continue shopping with you because here in America customer service just does NOT exist anymore.     There was a computer glitch so the size ordered was a zero (I am nowhere close to that size). I immediately contacted customer service to rectify the situation, who responded the next day saying that my made-to-order dress was already being processed and I would have to pay over $60 to change the size. I responded that I had alerted them of the problem immediately (within an hour of the order) so that they would not start making the wrong size and that I should not have to pay for a computer error. It is 3 days later and I still have not heard back from them with their decision and I have emailed them all 3 days requesting a response.

    I just want them to communicate so I can make alternative plans if I need to, and get my full refund if they don't wish to honor my request without additional payment. I have resorted to writing this review in hopes that they will respond and respond favorably. I really like the dress and hope to wear it next month at my daughter's Cotillion Ball.

    While I waited for my order, 2 items got CANCELLED without my approval or knowing about it; not only once but twice, on 2 separate occasions!!! I did not want to cancel these 2 items, and I want them replaced!!! *FYI....Ask the customer if they want to wait for more stock, want to exchange for something else, or want a refund...."before canceling on the customer!!!" It took 6 weeks for part of my order to arrive!!! I say "part" because of them canceling 2 items, without my permission!!!

    The Women's Cardigan size Medium I ordered, wasn't as long as in the picture for 1 thing, because in the pic it's down to her shins, but this would only go to the knees! But the WORST thing about this Cardigan was the Width of it!!! It was LITERALLY wide enough to fit my 300lb gf, and was still loose on her....literally not kidding!!! I told LightInTheBox immediately that I'm returning it and want a refund but they told me to keep it, but still gave me a refund! So I gave it to my 300lb gf! I guess that was ok, but not really, because I really wanted the extra long cardigan sweater that was in the picture! Just like I wanted the boots and pants they canceled on me!!!!

    I won't ever shop with LightInTheBox ever again! The length of time for my delivery, the quality, wrong measurements, and wrong pictures of the cardigan sweater, and especially taking it upon themselves, to cancel a customer's order, without the customer knowing, and not asking the customer in the 1st place!!! And to make matters worse & why I'm doing this review, is because LightInTheBox "refused to replace", the boots & pants that they cancelled off of my order!!!

    Updated on 01/28/2024: I was advised that a full refund will be provided by consumer affairs and this is not the case. Lightinthe box are thieves, they stall your communication, make you wait 1 business day, give you the runaround to allow days to go by and justify not trying to cancel or provide full refund. Consumer affairs advised I would get full refund. Right after that this company cancelled order advising they were going to refund 123.00 out of 215.93. Need to understand when and if I will be getting my full refund. The company ignores all communication with concerns. Please people do not use this website. You will take a loss.

    Original Review: Requested cancelation on 01/19 24 right after my order was placed because even after paying faster shipping date provided for delivery was not satisfactory. Was asked to allow 1 business day for reply. Then an email was sent with delivery sla and how I have to include mail time. Once again advised to cancel and was told they keep 50% the day after when they had me wait 1 business day to review And reply to my email. Order number **. They do not reply. Asking for full refund and cancelation. Do not buy from here. Bad communication. Not easy to work with.

    The dress was a pretty little dress for my kid but it was much larger than expected. I am attempting to exchange but not sure how this will all end. I had to pay for the return shipping for two shirts and the dress together which was more than I paid for the two shirts. I had to though because I do want the dress exchanged and I had to make it worth my while but I’m not sure it will be. The shirts I ordered for myself were tiny and very see through. The padding in the bust was so obvious.

What I didn't quite like is the colors from both sweaters, which were much pale (like faded colors) compare to pictures shown. Could relate to size chart provided and sizing was quite right.     I absolutely love the clothes. Very very nice look and the quality of clothes exceptional. The shipping time I really don't mind. It isn't that long considering it's in a different country than I live in. So I would expect that time but however I paid to be a gold member and it only lasted a couple months because I went to go place another order and unlike the 499 or something like that the standard shipping is supposed to be they want to charge me $35 for order. I really like the products.

    I've utilized ordering since I started quite a bit like I've been on there almost every other day and I placed at least four different orders. Love the products that the company has the offer but I'm not going to pay $35 for shipping for anything. So it's been nice and it's been fun but I can't get that $4.99 or whatever it is for the deal that I've already paid for and it hasn't lasted a solid year and you want to charge me $35.     I had an issue with one of the items in my order with sizing and material. I was refunded my money and I sent the item to one of my local charity stores. One issue I have with LightInTheBox is the quality of items is hit and miss. The type of fabric is not listed correctly, the sizing charts are different as some are product size and some are body size. When I look at items I usually read the reviews and go by them. I wish they had a better return or exchange as I don’t want to be stuck with crappy items..

Was offered a 60% refund not to return but can't take advantage of that because Lightinthebox requires return of the 2 exchange items. Have been trying to sort this out for almost 2 weeks. They are very slow to respond and not very helpful. It would make more sense for them to just send the 2 items I need and give me the 60% on the others and avoid return and all this back and forth. I would just donate the unwanted items. So far no resolution. If their size chart is wrong, why do I have to pay return shipping?

    Overall I am happy with the majority of what I have purchased, however, their clothing sizing is for the birds! I have purchased several jackets/coats and ordered one size up from what I normally wear. Out of 3 jackets, all ordered 3X, one is fine, one is a bit tighter than I'd like but is wearable, and the third is way, way too small and not remotely close to a 3X. If I want to return an item I have to pay postage to return it to China and I can only get a partial refund. This policy is terrible customer service and I'm sure I'm not the only person with this complaint. The overall quality of their products varies. Some is fine, some is pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for I guess. Will I buy from them again? Yes, I probably will, but it won't ever be clothing again.

    Because the shoe sizes are in US it can be very difficult to pick the correct size if you are Canadian. Years ago I knew that if the sizes were US then I would have to go up 1/2 size. In Canada I take size 8 or in EU39. When I wanted to return the booties I was told I would have to send them back to China and pay for shipping. Needless to say, I was very upset. This was my first experience with LightInTheBox and I am 72 yrs. old. I am not a teenager.     I ordered two Christmas shirts for the Holidays. Ordered both in XL. They sent one in XL and the other in a Medium. Sadly the one I wanted most was the wrong size, and I could not wear it for the Christmas holidays with my family. I reached out to the seller for a replacement in my XL size (as I ordered). Their reply was to offer 30% and have me keep it. I asked again for an XL, then they offered 50% to keep it.

    Since I cannot wear a medium, I asked again if they could replace the item. Then they offered 70% off. * They ignored their mistake and said I would have to pay return shipping (to China) to get a partial refund for my order. No attempt from the company to get me what I ordered. Very poor business model. I had to go to Paypal to resolve for partial refund. 3+ hours spent and I still never got a shirt I could wear.

    These items did not fit despite using the size chart provided by the company. When I explained this in a review, the company seemed to retaliate by saying to use the size chart. I did, the item did not fit regardless. In truth what did not fit was the circumstances of the arms of the coats; this detail was not provided in the size chart.

    In my review I stated that the vendors and brands sold on Lightinthebox should be held to higher standards. I've ordered several items including coats, pants, and so on; some are perfect fits, and some are to small in specific areas. This is a manufacturing issue, this can only be fixed by these brands using proper sizing guidelines or else being properly vented by the company selling them. I give poor reviews like these when my experience consist of consistently poor or inconsistent interactions, that are not met with quick and effortless solutions, but instead consist of slow and convoluted patches to problems. I have given a 2 star here, because even though I have had several poor experiences with this company, I have also received some of my favorite clothing for here as well. And though their return process is convoluted, I still did get a fair compensation.

    The jacket that I ordered is certainly not XL in the shoulders and does not match the measurements provided. I can hardly fit in it! Furthermore, the material used to make it is cheap and it smells awful, so even if the jacket did fit I would not wear it.     I have ordered 20 times in 2023. Overall I am satisfied. I have 3 bad experiences initially. I have the following suggestions which will make LightintheBox sales to be better. Styling is very very good. My congratulations to the designers.

    1. Colour MUST match as shown. Twice I ordered blue and I ended with violet blue. Later orders the colours are correct. But I always have this fear colour as shown will be different from actual.

    2. Size: This has improve at my expense. Initially it was too small and because of this, I ordered a bigger size and it end up too big!!! So sizing has improved and I know what size to order but still I always fear of wrong sizing. LIGHTintheBOX must pay great attention to sizing or you get unhappy customers or customers fear to order which happened to me sometimes.

    3. Actual material rec'd is always thin and not as good quality as shown in the pictures. If you give better material same in the pictures and charge a bit more, NOBODY will complain over the higher price.

    The design is very, very good and I am satisfied with experience.

    I purchased 5 items from this site and have been happy with 1. The quality is very poor, the fabric very poor and the manufacturing poor. One dress had printed pockets and printed contrasting color and was tshirt fabric not cotton. One dress has a centre flower and was sewn to the top of the dress 2 inches to the left of centre. I can repair it but why? The boots I purchased were so cheap that I couldn’t get the wrinkles out from shipping! There are so many other sites, stay away from this one. I will say though they did help when the parcel got lost.

    I wanted to try out LightInTheBox because I've never ordered from them. I wanted to see how I'd like it and their service. I got slippers for my grandniece and she liked the item. After that, I just kept on ordering things from them. It's much cheaper at LightInTheBox. But some of the things, for instance, says it's glass, but it's plastic and I tell them that. Also, sometimes, I think they're like prototypes, seconds, or flawed items and they sell it for a price. They're getting more competitive, as well. They have things on their site that you could get at other places but at a discount. And I wish they wouldn't always have polyester.

    But some of the things are nice. The prints on clothing are fairly nice and the color doesn't bleed. Also, if I had an issue with them, they usually fix it. But the first time, I ordered an adult pantsuit for my niece and they sent me a little kid's dress. They didn't give me what they should have. But later on, they made good on the other things that weren't right or had a flaw in it. They would send me another one and let me keep the wrong item.

    My experience with LightInTheBox hasn't been too good. They make it way too hard to get refunds. You can't just return an item and get a full refund on it. You can get 50% and then credited the other 50%. So, you have to buy something else from them to really get your money. Then only after you have ordered something, like a day later, you'll get a message saying, "Oh, we're out of this item." I tried to follow the things that it said to go and put in for something else for the exchange and it was difficult. I don't wanna order anything from them again.

    The whole reason I tried getting something from them is because I was getting a bunch of stuff from Temu, and they had something on there that Temu didn't have. It was something similar to it but not exactly. I ordered a jean jacket that has the fuzzy stuff inside and a hood. A couple of days after I ordered it, they said that they were out of stock. Then a couple of days later, it said that they were getting the order ready. Then the day after that, they sent me another thing saying, "Oh, you still haven't answered our thing letting you know that we're out of stock on it." It was really weird.

    The only reason I got it from them is because Temu didn't have the blue jean jacket with the fuzzy stuff in it with the hood. They had the black one. So, I got the black one from Temu and I said, "Well, I'll get the blue jean one from LightInTheBox," and went with all that. One time, they sent me the wrong size of what I ordered. I thought that was strange. I double-checked my order when I got it because it was too small. I know the measurements and any time I've gone by the measurements, the stuff fits.

    I did order one pair of ski pants for me and my boyfriend and we loved them. They were thicker and warm. He works outside all year round. So, he really likes them for work and I like them, too. I got us a bunch of them and even ordered him a couple more. I got him four, I got me four, and then I went back and ordered him another four in different colors. I saw another pair and I thought it was gonna be the same thing and I ordered them, and they were really thin. I kept them because I didn't even wanna have to deal with the return. I'll just wear them for summer pants. The ski pants was a good buy and it was a good price. It was 11.99. That was the best thing that I got from them.

    I have ordered several clothing items through this site. In most cases the item I received was not as described or did not fit. When I attempted to return the unsatisfactory items Light In The Box presented never ending obstacles. They kept on asking for more documentation. How can you provide them with a PICTURE of the reason the product received was not as described on their website? This has happened to me on several occasions. I have a collection of unsatisfactory items I was not allowed to return because I could not provide their unreasonable documentation. AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.

    If you're looking for something unique, beautiful and a good price, LightinTheBox.com is your place. It is a place to go that you will not find items in a mall or a store. They offer many items beautifully designed. The colors are extraordinary. The realism and detail, which I like, is great. On the tops and shirts, a lot of them would carry the design on the back. Everything that any of my family has worn has been complimented.

    I've seen LightInTheBox's app, and I downloaded it on my phone. I scrolled through there, I liked what I saw, and started purchasing different items. I love it. It has been a year I've been with LightinTheBox. I look at it before I go to work, and sometimes, when I come home. It has to be at least 10 or more orders I have placed and received. I see the same ones I have seen in the beginning that are still advertised. But there are new items that appear and I would suggest to go there. I like the colors. The three-dimensional of the prints on shirts or tops, whether it be men or women, and some can be for either/or, is very detailed and beautiful. And the prices are decent.

    I have purchased gifts for my sons, daughter-in-laws, and grand babies. They're almost 13 and 12. And it has never been a miss. It's a hit. They go, “Oh, my gosh! I love this!. Where did you get this? I love this.” From 12 to the oldest being 75, and every clothing item or a statue of some kind or a picture, they've never seen it before and they're very pleased.

    Each time, the delivery time has been the same. Up to four weeks. And I'm assuming because overseas and they have to go through customs. And if it went past four weeks, they would notify and apologize for it. It could be a backorder on something. And if it wound up being out of stock, they would reimburse my money. That's always good, too.

    I've had a couple issues, but they took care of those, which I appreciate greatly. When I submitted tickets, there was always somebody I needed to get back to me right away and they took care of it. I appreciate that greatly, because sometimes, you can't get that at a store. They have issues with you coming back and saying, “This is what happened.” I’m very pleased with it.

    If something came and it was not the right thing or something was missing, you would want to make LightInTheBox aware of that. It's not worth it to send it back overseas. So, if they could reimburse that or if I wanted that item, they would say, “We'll resend the item if it didn't get here.” I had that issue a couple of weeks ago that I didn't receive the item that was supposed to be received. It just came today when I came home from work.

    I ordered four vests and all 4 were too small (significantly so) and of poor quality. It took a long time to deliver and when delivery was made, I was out of the country on business for a few weeks. When I returned and tried on the vests, they were all too small but my return request was denied because they only allow 14 days from receipt of goods to return them!!! I will never shop this site again and advise everyone to beware!!!!

    My unpleasant and costly experience with Lightinthebox convinced me to give them 1 star. I bought 3 dresses from them and returned 2 due to poor fabric. The one that I keep is decent and it cost me initially $19.99. By the time all the returns, refunds, tax charges and return charges were applied the initial cost of $19.99 turned into $88. Here was my experience.

    Ordering through mobile app the prices are lower. Even if you order from outside the app the order will be processed through the app, so it is just a trick. If you ask for the adjustments they will work with you, if not it is on you. They added shipment fees for a free shipment order. Contact them again and negotiate again for something that was added by them. The return postage fee will be returned to you partially. Because of all the cost associated with the returns and a poor customer service that writes long emails without giving you a fair solution I ended up with a daily dress that cost me 3 times more than they sold it to me.

    I don't even want to start sharing the mess they created with the PayPal return amount setup. I already spent too much energy with Lightinthebox and it is not worth spending a minute more. Good luck to all of you dealing with this company when something goes wrong.

    I ordered a garment following the measurements provided by the site. The garment was too small in the waist, arms and thighs. I notified the company. I received a response telling me to measure each piece and take pictures of the measurement. If it was not made to the measurements provided on the site it could be returned for a refund. Of course they offered a discount if I altered it locally. Unfortunately the seams provided no allowance for alteration. I took pictures, and in fact the elastic waist measured 1 1/2 inches smaller than described on their site and it was fully stretched at the time of measurement. All other measurements were within 1/4-1/2".

    I sent the pictures. Now I have been notified, even though they did not make it to their size specifications that I cannot return their garment except for a minimal 20% refund after I pay for shipping and they receive the garment. This company will take your money and if you are lucky you will get a useable garment. Otherwise, you will waste your time and very obviously your money. They do not honor their word when they communicate with you.

    Hello I did two orders with you guys. And both orders were wrong sizes. I followed your guiding size and yet they were 3 sizes too small. That is horrible. I would recommend that you change your sizes chart. I have lost a lot of money because of this. You gaved me a discount if I keep it and use it as credit. But I can't use that credit all at once.     I have had 3 orders placed and received to date, with a 4th pending. The quality of the products have been great to date. All clothing ordered so far has fit exactly as expected, and is as posted. I have also ordered two watches. With a couple more on the way. They appear to be of good quality. If you don’t care about brand names these are great items so far. I have not had issues receiving them, and they are keeping time as expected. Even had some compliments on one of them.

    If you don’t become a “gold member” at a cost of $29.99, then shipping can be pricey. Once you become a gold member, shipping is reduced to $7.50 whether you order 1 item or 10. So definitely worth getting gold in the long run, if you are going to use more than once. As for delivery, the items ordered so far, within the time allotted. They have so far not exceeded the slotted shipping times. You are given access to detailed information showing the progress of the shipping and transit route. No, typically you will not receive the items within 24-48 hours like other online companies. But… you will get it, factoring the items are coming from overseas on most occasions.

    I don’t like the point system. You can collect points by visiting their site daily. But these points expire relatively quick if not used. If you “exchange” the points for a coupon, you also only have a short period of time to use that coupon before you lose it. And you don’t get the points back that you “exchanged” to receive the coupon in the first place.

    It is easy to acquire an abundance of points, but the whole system is designed to encourage quick purchasing. Literally making it a snooze-you-lose scenario. Overall I am happy with Light in the Box so far. The quality of the product is not too different than what is available on other sites or on some brick-and-mortar stores in North America.

    I placed an order for 5 linen shirts of different styles and colors. It is important to use their attached sizing chart since I've learned they are not the same as the traditional US sizes I order.     Purchased a case for my Z fold 4 from here. The exact same case was $125 or more everywhere else. The exact same product. I paid $30 with shipping. Why wouldn't you??? No need to pay off all of the "middlemen" on your purchases when you can get direct from the supplier. You'd be foolish not to shop here.     My experience with LightInTheBox hasn't been terrible, but returning stuff is a nightmare. But other than that, they usually say what it is. If it says it's a light, I get a light. If it says it's a T-shirt made of this, it's a T-shirt made of that material. The sizing charts have been fine, but some of the stuff is not made very well. But when you spend that kind of money on it, it's not gonna be made well.

    I have had to reach out to their customer service. They get back to me quickly, and they tell me how to return stuff, but I'm like, "Oh, do I have to do all that now? I don't wanna do that." If you get something and you have to return it, you pay for the shipping, they reimburse you the shipping once they receive it, they take the shipping off the box, and they only give you 70% of what the purchase was. I just decided to keep my item. The most that I'd get was under 10 bucks, so why even bother?

    Overall, I'll just be a little more careful with what I buy because electronics aren't the greatest. Sometimes, they're European cords. You gotta watch what you buy. My experience is hit or miss, but the prices are right, so I don't get anything really expensive. I do recommend LightInTheBox to my friends, but I always tell them to read the description very well and know what they're buying because they can't return it.

    Dear sir or madam. I am often disappointed with footwear and clothing quality and sizing ordered from this company. Nothing is consistent. At times, items are missing from order. At times clothing is not completed... as in button holes closed. Also returns are made impossible bc of the cost. You should include your return policy in your company info. Nobody can afford to send items back. And I mean... where the product has to be sent to... all the way to China! This info should be included when I make my order.     I bought a T-shirt. It is absolutely the worst product I have ever seen, both my wife and daughter laughed when they saw it. None of the neck, arms or bottom of the shirt had a hem.     I ordered a wig with bangs and I got sent one that had no bangs. I took pictures and tried to return. Instead, I was just given a refund which was fine. So, I reordered the wig I wanted that was curly, layered, and with bangs. I got sent the same wig you sent me the first time with no bangs. I work 80 hours a week and just don't have time or energy to be standing in line at the post office to return things so I just ate the cost the second time around and learned my lesson.
