    I ordered a shirt from this company and never received it. I took a picture of where it was supposed to be left. Not there. Did not receive package. They are making me go through loops and holes just to try to prove that I did not get it. I will never ever buy or recommend anything from this company again. Please don't waste your money and lose your package because it is a waste of time.

    I thought your product was well made and durable. My suggestion would be to make it more flexible to fit in a variety of corner styles. Showers walls are all different and there is no way to adjust the suction cups to fit the slant of the walls. I should have ordered the straight shelf, and I probably will. Thank you. :)

    I purchased an item from Light in the Box, It was delivered damaged and the quality of the product was poor. I contacted customer service and the options they gave me were:

    1) 60% Store Credit, Or

    2) 40% Refund.

    Both choices were unacceptable to me. If this type of business is ok with you then by all means continue to purchase from this Company. What a complete SCAM. I will definitely not be buying anything else from this Company ever again. So be careful with your hard earned money and don't fall for this SCAM.

    It always takes a bit longer for shipping, but that is the trade off for the made in China low price. Unique designs you just don't find anywhere else. I have gotten a lot of compliments. So far everything has been good quality and arrived in good shape. Guessing clothes sizes is a bit tricky because of the difference in measuring.

    At first, I was making my purchases from LightInTheBox on their website. Then, I stopped for a while. Recently, they had this app, so I downloaded it. I saw quite a few things that I liked and I got interested again. They had this flash sale and I ended up hitting the wrong button, so I kept losing the price and those items. I was checking to see what my total was so I hit Select All, and when I hit Select All again, it took everything away. Then, when I went to hit the flash sale again, it was all gone.

    I have bought so many things from LightInTheBox. I was able to purchase a sleeveless blue flowery mini dress which goes just past my knee. I love the comfort and how it feels on me. And my husband says that that looks good on me. Then I bought this one sweater, and I'm meant to get the one that was opened instead of crew cut because that makes me choke. But when I saw how much it was going to cost to send it back, I decided to keep it and try to work around it. I also bought this one blue jean dress with lace around on the sleeves, which were a little bit too tight for me, so I had it cut where the seam was so I could wear it. Aside from that, I ordered those little jewelry containers and I was expecting them to be a little bit bigger than they were, but I was able to use some of them.

    Then, I bought a couple of necklaces that came with the earrings. I bought them to go with this one outfit and it looks great with them. I also purchased a travel jewelry box and I loved it because when we're going on trips, I always had to take a box that the items came in that I was able to put my stuff inside. It was big enough where I could put everything in it. And now with the jewelry box I've got, I don't have to worry about my jewelry being in a cluster. They're all laid in properly. Other than that, I was anticipating my orders to arrive within the period stated in the app, but they arrived three days earlier. And when I looked in my account, it still said that my orders were, “Still in the fly zone.”

    This company is ridiculous. I was interested in buying pants and thought I misread the length sizes. ALL are at least 1 FOOT too long and you're expected to cut off the foot and hem pants yourself. Shame, as I liked the styles but of course I'm not going to do their job for them.

    This is horrible company. The returned policy is a nightmare. They try to offer you a $10. off price of any other purchase rather than returning your money back, they don't have a customer service phone number or a valid email address to state your complaint or write to them trying to find out if they have received packages sent back to them there's a number out of California and is a voice activated message center and they can't even understand what you're saying on the phone. I got so aggravated I let them keep my money because I know I'm not going to ever use them or refer anyone to them. Stay far away from Lightinthebox online. Not worth it. I definitely recommend Amazon any time.

    From what’s shown in the image, it definitely looks like the package was left several feet away from the door instead of being placed directly in front of it. It’s just sitting out in the open hallway, not tucked near the threshold or under the handle the way a careful delivery driver would typically leave it.     The shipping with LightInTheBox is so much more expensive than everybody else. Aside from it's so much cheaper with everybody else, they all have better stuff and the same stuff even. Also, it takes so long to receive anything, especially if it's coming from abroad. I don't know why the others are able to get things quicker but that was my experience. So, I don't use LightInTheBox much anymore unless I'm desperate. I'd also like to cancel getting all the promotional mail from them.

    Other than that, I got a lot of shirts from them and I like the stuff. They look very beautiful, but they don't match the pictures. One of the things that I was very disappointed with was that the shirts were represented as being three dimensional or embroidered, but when I got them, they were just flat. Aside from that, it was so much trouble to return anything that I ended up donating a lot of the items I got because I just don't have the time to deal with it. Everybody else is a little more reasonable and they pay for the return shipping if necessary.

    This chair cover really exceeded my expectations in terms of how well it fit my recliner and how good it looks. The fabric is very soft and comfortable plus stretchy enough to conform to the chair. The pattern I got was not available in other places like Amazon, so I went with LightInTheBox and they delivered in a timely manner. It wasn't overnight, but maybe 1.5 weeks (I forget) which was fine with me. FYI, the cover doesn't come with directions, but is easy to figure out by reading the tags on each separate piece. I did have to use one safety pin to make it tighter under the chair, but that was really minor and I'm so happy how it turned out!

    Do not order from this site!!! You will likely not get what you ordered. You will get the closest match to what they have available. There is no customer service so there is no way to resolve these types of issues. If you want to send back an item that they sent to you that they purposely knew was not what you ordered, you have to pay money to send it back to Asia. It’ll actually cost more money to send it back, than to keep the wrong item that they sent you. Just be aware if you want to take the risk.

    Any review above 1 star is likely paid for by this company. Their website says nothing about being based in China, so return options are under the discretion of that country. I agreed to a return option that they promised in an email of 60% off, keep the items (too small), and store credit. They applied only 30% credit and later sent an email that they made a "typo".     I will never order from this company and will discourage my family. The item was not as described and poorly made. The customer service is sorry.     Awful customer service. My package shows ‘delivered’ over two weeks ago. I reached out to them and they said to give it a few days and check with neighbors and the post office. I already did that and let them know this. Already frustrating that they ignored that part. They then asked me to get an official letter from the post office and they would help resolve the issue. I did THAT as well even giving them the direct manager’s name and email address of the post office that provided the actual letter to me.

    This company THEN proceeds to ask for pictures of my front door. Like really? First of all, why? There’s no package there lol, second of all: USPS does not deliver to front doors, only mailboxes. It feels like this company is giving me the runaround and now ignoring me after I asked for further assistance being that I provided them exactly what they requested. They do NOT wish to refund or resend packages if something happens to your shipment, even if you have an official letter from the post office with the manager’s contact listed stating that there was a known issue on the date it should have been delivered. So disappointing, so now I will have to dispute this with my bank since they refuse to help resolve this. Never ordering from them again. And I don’t recommend you ordering either.

    I first started using LightInTheBox in October 2024. I found the clothing to be a good quality, fit according to sizes offered, was exactly as displayed in pictures, and the colours are vibrant. I have received many compliments on the outfit I am wearing from this company. I would recommend this company to anybody who wants exception clothing for a reasonable price.

    I have received exceptional service from the client service agents. For example, I want to tell you a story about an a wonderful individual, named Danica. Recently. I received an incorrect article of clothing I did not order. I contacted the company about my problem and I was fortunate to have DANICA no handled my concern. She provided me with professional, friendly, hardworking, and diligent service. She kept me apprised of every step of the process. In her email to me, she was always courteous and she made me feel like a valuable client. Today, I received an email saying that my item has been shipped. It is service like this that will keep me as a client. Danica is an asset to the company. So if I was her supervisor I would give her a raise in pay as employee like her do not come along very often.

On my last order, I accidentally left one of the items in my cart without when checking out, and then had to go back and repurchase the shirt with additional shipping charges for a separate order. The message I received back let me know that they had added the item I forgot and refunded me the additional shipping fee that I had paid. Words can't explain how pleased I am.     LightinTheBox US: Ordered blouse in XL. Received blouse, too small. I want to make a return. They email the address, which is China, and state return costs will amount to $ 20 to 40 dollars. Plus stated instructions that seem out of the ordinary.. Seems to be, I'll never get my refund, I'll be out of the merchandise plus I'll be out in total $65.00.. $37.18 blouse, $ 8.00 shipping $45.99. Return shipping as stated in return instructions $20.00 to $40.00. Also instructions that are not clear in the return panel.. This company is a fraudulent foreign warehouse, that should not be in business, and should be condemned by United States Consumer Affairs. No receipt available

    I ordered 2 dressy blouses for a wedding this weekend. I keep getting an AI bot that says it is out for delivery. Then I get Elenora saying that several attempts were made to deliver to my address. That is a lie. Both my husband and I work from home and we live in a Cul de sac where you see and hear everyone who drives thru. No attempts have been made and there is no one to talk to except by email. Fed Ex, Amazon, DHL and UPS have all delivered to our address easily. I would give them zero stars but that option wasn't possible. I paid a lot for the 2 tops and I just want them delivered asap. They cannot even provide what the delivery truck looks like or where it is in real time. This is such a scam. Even SpeedX headquarters in NY says they aren't at that address when you call. The 800 number that Elenora gave me is not in service. Do not buy from this company.

    A one star review is actually generous. This Chinese company is a ripoff. Beware. I ordered two Which never came. They claim their delivery company ACI delivered the shirts to me but offer no proof. I am giving up after dozens of attempts to do what they asked most of which was idiotic, file a claim with ACI, take pictures of my front door and mailbox, call the post office. It’s all just bs. They stole my money.

    Quality of products are subpar. The return policy is outrageous. The website states there is at least a 7 day return window, depending on the type of product purchase. I was unhappy with the product, requested a return the day after receiving the product. It took a week of back and forth with them offering me coupons and credits before they actually processed the return. They told me the items needed to be shipped back to China, even though they shipped the item from New Jersey (I am in New York). The cost to return shipping was equivalent to the cost of the item itself. I will never again purchase an item from LightInTheBox. Even after thoroughly reading the return policy, it was an absolute nightmare, and they do not follow their own policies.

    I've placed 4 orders thru LITB. Definitely use the app to save you money. I've spent $660 and ordered 45 shirts, 6 pairs of shorts, 6 zip up hoodies, 1 pair of sweatpants, 3 sets of socks, and a pair of loafers. Each order arrived in around 16-17 days to Texas. The colors are really nice to awesome on the shirts. The Halloween style shirts look really good.

    My only complaints are I was missing one sock out of the 18 pairs and the loafers were meh. I wear a 10 in Asics and Brooks, but these size 10s are big. Quality isn't great either, but I kind of expected that on a $20 pair of shoes. The sizing on everything else is great. (I've ran into sizing issues on shoes from 2 other online sellers also, so it isn't relegated to LITB. All of said shoes have been shipped from overseas, who use metric instead of imperial measurements.) Overall, I highly recommend LITB. For the price, the issues I've had are tolerable. I haven't tried to contact anyone for returns and I won't. I wear nice shoes, but I try not to overspend on the rest of my clothes. This place fills that niche perfectly for me. I have 24 more shirts in my cart right now. LOL.

    Ordered a “Men's Linen Shirt, Band Collar” in blue. The delivery took 10 days by USPS. When the package was opened the shirt was not of the same hue as pictured, and the size was smaller than depicted on the size table.     I ordered 2 skirts from Light in the Box. I waited about 2+ weeks to receive them. I ordered a size M based on their measurements and reviews saying item was true to size. Beware! NOT true. Received this skirt that seems like a child’s medium. Good luck trying to figure out how to get a refund. They make it as difficult as possible. Finally I wrote them an email and they wanted me to show proof that it wasn’t true to size! Not only that here’s the best: they give you a 30% refund!! So if you spend 100 you get $30 back. I will never order from here again. If I could give 0 stars because their website has you running in circles to try and even ask for a refund.

    I've bought from this company in the past and have even recommended them to family and friends. In June, I bought three pairs of men's sandals and never received them. Because I did not pay extra for insurance, my orders was shown delivered with the US tracking numbers but I never received it. The China tracking numbers was not trackable. This company refused to make it right with a refund or replacement and I lost $100. I suggest anyone buying from them, make sure to pay them extra for insurance otherwise, they will scam you and you won't get your stuff but will lose your money. I will never buy from them again.

    I am usually very pleased with the merchandise that I have purchased. The dresses tend to run a little on the large side but tops run true to size. My main concern is the turnaround time from when I place my order and when I receive it. I ordered a dress to wear in the summer but it took over 3 weeks to receive it so by then it was getting too late in the season to comfortably wear it. I would order more often if it didn’t take so long to receive my order plus many mail order companies offer free shipping after a certain total of money is reached. That is not true for your company and the shipping is fairly high.

    I ordered 2 different wedding dresses to try based on the photos online. When they arrived, neither one looked like the picture and one of them was totally the wrong size. I'm getting married quickly and needed a dress to just fit with minor alterations, so I went ahead and ordered two more dresses, anticipating that it would be easy to return the other two. Not correct. Even though these are standard sizes, they refer to the white dresses as custom and that they are not returnable. So I went back and forth and back and forth with them to no avail. They offered a 50% credit to use in their store (which I obviously don't want) on not only the dresses that were not even close to what they look like online but also the ones that I ordered and cancelled right away. Do not order from this company. Total rip off.

    I tried Light In the Box for the first time because I found items there that I couldn't find anywhere else for amazing prices.     I was excited to discover this site as a way to supplement my wardrobe with inexpensive, fun summer tops. The website's photography is very appealing. Unfortunately, orders ship slowly, so I placed two more orders before the first arrived. (My mistake; I should have waited.) The quality of the fabric, printing, and cut of the garments made them unwearable. (Cheap construction has shallow armhole cuts, for example, and these were ridiculous if you have breasts.) I'm glad others have found this to be a good source. Sadly, all three orders will be put in my local charity contribution boxes. I'm done.

    I ordered a product from LightInTheBox on August 12th. They took my money on August 13th. It's now August 29th and I still have not received my order. They also have not contacted me after I've sent several e-mails which seem to hit the bit bucket. I checked my address info on their web site (app). And, everything is correct. I don't know it they are claiming my order is lost or they are simply scamming me. The site has no chat option or customer service email to ask any questions. Of course no human to speak with.     I ordered 2 dresses for a wedding. I had looked up LightintheBox and felt comfortable ordering. The dresses were well made, but very heavy and high waisted. They did not fit me well. I tried to send them back. One dress the customer service emailed I could not return because it was in the made for you wedding guest dresses even though I ordered off the rack size. The other dress they said I could return but upon further review it was not in the return window, it had expired. It says 30 days. I was still in that window.     Would give this company a zero if possible. Dress styles & descriptions are stylish and on trend so I took a chance, thinking this company was a more stylish alternative to JJ'sHouse and Azazie. Ordered a standard size dress on July 26th for an out of town wedding on August 22. After payment processed, find out the dress must be customized, even though selected a std size. Email responses from LITB arrive only once within 24 hours so the order is delayed over 4+ days. No actual customer service or phone support to correct their measurements. Gave up due to the slow back & forth wait for email reply.

    Requested to cancel & refund as their delays means dress now unlikely to arrive in time for event. Told nope, no can do. Requested an expedited shipping option, willing to pay for it except no such option exists, only US Post Office regular shipping. So, dress that doesn't fit arrives on August 21st, too late to be pressed or tailored for event. Useless. Week long customer service email with an unhelpful company agent to no avail. Won't refund dress & won't send shipping label to return unopened jewelry. Lesson learned...saw the same dress available through Amazon with legitimate return policy. Protect yourself from this scam company.

    Scam site. They DON'T DO RETURNS despite them having a policy. It's the "keep it and we give you store credit" game. Shipping is 2-4 weeks because it has to clear customs. Website pictures are not reliable. Sizes run small and fabrics are thin.

    I guess it's just meant to be but, for some reasons and social media started showing me a shirt and I really like the shirt. Day after day I couldn't get away from it so I deemed it "meant to be". I purchased a shirt and once it came I loved it so much.     My name is Gail ** and I am a recent customer of Light in the Box. I purchased 2 shirts. After taking my measurements I ordered according to the manufacturers size guide. Unfortunately one of the manufacturer's size guides was off by 4 inches and that made it unworkable for me. I contacted customer service and, thank goodness, Eleonora was their representative who responded. She was just terrific and very nice and professional.     I placed an order July 17th, and as of today the order had not shipped, it's sitting in a warehouse in China, when I write to inquire the respond is always the same (AI generated), to wait until I get the item before they can refund me. Totally ludicrous!!! If this were a legitimate company, there would be a phone number where I can talk to someone, and if it is a company, is running a scam, stay away from it. They'll take your money and totally neglect you.

    First, one of the worst websites for figuring out how to return something. Basically, I’m donating this rag that I bought from them. Dress looks like linen type fabric on the internet. It was, in reality a gorgeous model, incredible photograph on a piece of cheap maybe polyester…probably worse than that. It was slick and shiny, cheap and awful fabric. Then the return process is so difficult. For $30, I will donate it! But I would never deal with this company again. Amazon would never allow this crap on their website!! If you want to return it, it has to go to Asia. That would be expensive, and frankly, I wouldn’t trust the company that I would EVER see a nickel from the return. I’M NOT PUTTING ANY MORE TIME INTO THIS company. A real scam Asian company. Buyer beware.

    Updated on 09/01/2025: I complained again about the return policy and they offered to refund 60% of the purchase price back to the credit card, and I would not have to return the shirts to China.

    Updated on 08/30/2025: I submitted a request to return the items, which they claim will be answered in a day or two. Over two weeks later, I am informed that I have to pay the postage to return them to China, that I have only a week to mail the package, and that I will not receive money refunded but I will receive 50% of the purchase price in store credit?? I don't want store credit; I want money refunded.

    Original: I have tried to get Light in the Box to give permission for me to return the shirts, but so far they are not cooperating. The fabric cannot be 95% cotton as they claim because it does not breathe or behave like cotton. Furthermore, the shirts that arrived are much shorter in length than the shirts that models are wearing in the photos.

    My first order went great. I expected slow delivery, but the quality of the items I’ve received so far was exactly what I thought. It was kind of a test order. The second order was where I decided to spend more money, and that’s when things became a little challenging.

    My last order was on July 4th. I’m having trouble with a decently sized order that says it’s delivered, but only one item out of 12 actually arrived. I couldn’t easily find a way to contact them on mobile, as it seemed automated, and this became my frustration. However, when I used the website and opened a ticket, they responded within 24 hours and seem to be trying to help. I understand the time difference, but it’s been about a month and a half now and there’s still trouble with the tracking. Since they are responding, I’m waiting for it to be resolved.

    In general, the website could use some improvement. It doesn’t give a lot of product descriptions, and the categorization needs some tweaking. If you’re searching for something specific like a pencil, items like a jet ski or scooter might pop up. The pictures look good, though. The mobile version is definitely more challenging to use, and even the computer version can be a little difficult to navigate.

    The stuff they have been sending me on email are very targeted based on things I’ve clicked on or similar items. I may add items to my wishlist, but until the tracking issue is resolved, I haven’t purchased anything else from them.

    I have ordered some printed on fabric murals that you can put on the wall from LightInTheBox several times. I’m an interior designer and I’ve got several of them at home. They have an app and a website. I got some points and had a little bit of trouble trying to get it all on the same thing. It took me a little coordination, but it wasn’t too hard. I’ve been pleased with the quality of the things that I’ve gotten. The prints are really big, but a little pixelated. It’s better to get them a little bit smaller. But I like getting the big ones. The biggest complaint I have with them is that it takes forever to get the order. Shipping time is four weeks. I think the products are coming from China. I have already made a little recommendation for them about the prints.

    I have spent most of the day trying to exchange or return an item. The site has no chat option or customer service email to ask any questions. Of course no human to speak with. They have links that do nothing but run you in circle back to where you started. The quality is very poor. The size is far from standard. I ordered 2 like items, different pattern. One fit, the other was nowhere near the size ordered.

    They make it so difficult and confusing that they hope you will give up. They ask for pictures attached of the item and give you a short timeline for return but they took 20 days for me to receive the order and I paid $8.50 in shipping. They are not ethical. I would not recommend ordering from them based on my experience. I am seeking a refund in a different manner as they will not let you connect with them. I could not sign in with user and password. When I tried to reset the password it said you already have an account so I could not use the option forgot password. They should be investigated for customer abuse in the tactics they utilize to prevent return/exchanges and how terrible quality compared to the pictures of the items.
