I ordered some magnets and toys from them two months ago. I should have read the reviews first of course. Still waiting for my maggies! They reply to my inquiries with a generic response and now say that it could take another 60 days. What!? After reading the reviews I see this is typical of them. Jerks! I would steal their lunch money if I could. Jerk faces.

I ordered a set of sheets that were advertised as "100% Cotton". When received they were clearly a "Polyester/Cotton" blend. It said so right on the tag which was sewn into the sheets! When I contacted them they fed me some sort of bull about, "Will have to check on their quality control." and then they marked the ticket as "RESOLVED" despite the fact that I didn't even respond to them. I'm expected to pay for shipping to send them back and then they will "decide after inspecting the item" as to whether or not I should get my money back... right! THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL FRAUD. After reading these reviews it seems like they are misrepresenting ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS. There is one positive review here on ConsumerAffairs and I guarantee it was written by one of their staff members. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

I ordered a dress that costed about $80.00 then I want it to ship out expedited that costed about $20.00. The dress was expected to arrive in about 2-3 days. I ordered it on Apr. 28th and on the same day the LightInTheBox took my money in all about $100.00. The dress didn't come for a week. I contacted them by email (the only way) and I wanted to cancel the order since I needed the dress for an event which would be in starting in a day. The responder, Yvette, kept on telling me that I couldn't cancel the order and if she cancel it now, the company would charged me 50% of my money which was about $50. I told her that it was the LightInTheBox which broke the promised NOT me. So how come she would charged 50%. Yvette wrote back and told me that it was my mistake, NOT the LightInTheBox mistake. And she would help me to complete my order and send out on May 16th and expected for another 2-3 days delivery.
It seemed to me that since the LightInTheBox which is based in China, it doesn't care about the customers whom are abroad. The only thing it does is to take money from the customers and who cares about the products. This is just ridiculous and I don't know why the Consumer Affairs or the BBB still haven't done anything to block this scam business from operating in the US.

BEWARE OF TERRIBLE COLOR MATCH TO THEIR WEBSITE COLOR SAMPLES. Received 3 bridesmaid dresses that I ordered in Burgundy color (from their chart). What I did receive was three "RED" dresses. Now they will not refund my order. Terrible company with poor customer service. Stuck with this color. See attached photo for yourself.

This has been an absolutely HORRIBLE experience!!! Nowhere on your website do you disclose that the merchandise ordered would be coming from China or that there would be international fees charged in addition to the cost of the order!! Your shipping dates are absolutely OFF and very misleading! In the description of the item I ordered, it states "100 Pc Decorative Flowers" making a consumer think they are paying for 100-PIECES, and yet it is for ONLY ONE! ONLY ONE... Why would anyone in their right mind pay for ONE flower to be shipped from CHINA and wait damned near 3-weeks to get it??? Only someone who was defrauded by your company through its con-artist website. This entire experience has been one HOAX... Absolute FRAUD!!! You should not be allowed to sell anything in the United States!

This was the first time I ordered from LightInThe Box and it will be my last. The hat I ordered was not at all like it was pictured on the website. It was on sale and the price was good, but the quality was horrible. The packaging was a joke and the hat came all smashed. Also my credit card number was stolen and they tried to charge several hundred dollars, although my credit card company recognized it as a possible fraud and did not allow it to go through. However they did manage to hack into my online credit card account and stole all my rewards (over 12,000 points) and used it to get a hotel room. It's a terrible company. Do not order anything from LightIntheBox!!!!

DO NOT order anything from this company, they are horrible and won't exchange anything. I ordered a straight up size 4 dress that was NOT custom tailored and they would not exchange it for another size saying they don't exchange custom ordered dresses. Where they got that from I don't know. I did not send them any measurements!!! What a horrible customer service and buying experience! Dissatisfied customer. Will never order from them again!

I ordered lights from this website and paid for shipping insurance. When the items arrived they were broken. They offered me 50% discount on the product, but I still had to pay for the incompetent shipping despite the fact I paid for insurance. Customer service were not willing to assist beyond this. Very, very dissatisfied that I had to pay $70 for shipping an item and that no responsibility was assumed for the fact shipping incompetence caused the item to arrive broken.

Ordered two pairs of sneakers. Received one. Continuously fill out ticket to msg customer service which is the only way feasible to contact. Never receive info on sneakers. Billed to my credit card but not sent. No one to resolve with and no helpful info from them. Terrible company to deal with.

This company turned to be an absolute nightmare for me as far as delivery and customer service. The quoted delivery time on the goods I ordered was 5-8 business days. After 10 days I received an email saying that the package was delivered, but in reality it was not. Tracked the package using the tracking link and showed the same, package delivered. So, I opened a ticket on the LightInTheBox website and got a computer generated standard message saying that I should wait my package is probably delayed a bit. OK.
I waited a few weeks, no package, opened another ticket, got the automated email again, wrote back another type of machine generated email arrived. Wrote back a few times, no human interaction just useless automated messages. Tried to find another way of contacting the company, none exists, wrote a bad review on their website, still no attention. Almost a months elapsed, no package, no refund, no useful contact with their customer service. I am a frequent online shopper but never seen something like this. This company is TOTALLY USELESS, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM BECAUSE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT!!!

I first purchased a Jr bridesmaids dress and a pair of shoes for my daughter for a family member's wedding. My initial order actually arrived pretty quickly. No complaints there BUT they sent the wrong shoes. Not the wrong size but a completely different shoe than I ordered. The dress was a tad too big, which was not their fault but I immediately contacted them and wanted to return the dress and shoes and get the dress one size smaller. They told me that the dress was "made-to-order" and could not be returned. There was nothing "made-to-order" about this dress. It was a standard size in a standard color that shipped within 36 hours of me placing the order. The dress had never been worn, altered, and tags were still on. In fact, I contacted them the very day that I received the dress. After throwing a fit and threatening to do a chargeback on my credit card if they would not accept the return, they finally agreed to take it back.
I did not want to have to wait for the first dress to be returned before the second one was shipped so I went ahead and placed a second order for a second dress. The handling plus shipping time combined should have been 14-22 business days. It is now at 28 business days and still no dress. At this point, the wedding is in 3 days so even if it gets here in the next 3 days, there will not be enough time to have it shortened (it was a floor length dress that will need to be hemmed). When I contacted them and told them that I would need to return this one dress as well because I no longer have any use for it, they suggested that I just keep it because the shipping cost would be too much to return it. Terrible customer service. Do NOT buy from this company.

I ordered 2 ball gowns on 1/28/2017 for an event on 2/17/17. I paid $34 for 2-3 day expedited shipping. I kept sending "tickets" with no response from the company. I finally received a response when I threatened to file a complaint in March. I wanted a refund because the event had passed. They shipped one dress, I received mid March. I contacted them again about the second dress demanding a refund. They have an excuse for everything. I was persistent and sent them a copy of my filed complaint with the attorney general. Miraculously, a refund appeared in my Light in the box account. They never notified me. I needed to find it. Then you must request it be put back in your bank account/card another long process.
I sent them another ticket requesting my expedited shipping fee returned to me since it took almost 2 months for the first dress to arrive and the other one never arrived 3 months later. I then got a response I must have misunderstood 2-3 day expedited shipping and they are not at fault for anything. They are keeping my $34 expedited shipping fee. This is absolutely the worst company to business with. Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen and not consumer friendly. They border on stealing with their 2-3 expedited shipping. If it's not possible don't offer it. I will never shop here again ever. It cost me even more money because I needed to buy a dress for the event when this order never arrived.

This is my first time ordering from LightInThe Box website, and it will for sure be my last. I submitted tickets for two complaints and at no point was their "Customer Service" at all concerned with truly resolving my issues. Firstly, I paid extra money for express shipping in order to receive my item in 2-3 days from the shipping date. I did not receive my item until 7 days after the date it shipped, which was days after the event I purchased them for. When I finally received the item (shoes), I find that their US shoe sizes they advertise on their site are not correct, they are in fact SMALLER... and now, I'm stuck with "customized" shoes that do not fit and they will not allow me to return them. Seriously frustrated and disappointed in this company. I'm not sure how things work where they are, but where I am, it is clearly deceitful to sell an item using false information.

These ppl are cons. They are not legitimate. I order products and never received it. It has been over 6 weeks now, never got my money back. They never respond to emails neither do they have a telephone number. I am not the only one having this problem here.

Having paid extra for fast postage of an item - I am still waiting on my product 5 days after the promised delivery date. Before purchase I was told it was 5 - 8 business days - we are now 13 business days and counting. Their customer service is appalling. When I contacted them they just said "Actually it could take up to 28 days. Thanks for your patience." DO NOT pay extra for delivery - it appears to be an absolute sham. I will review my product when [and if] I get it.

Wow where to start. Ordered a Xiaomi m2 wristband. 12th March 2017. Included extra for DAD shipping. Shipped in a couple of days or I should say marked as ship. No cancellation allowed after shipping. By end of March raised as goods not received. Ticket got back in progress message, but suddenly new tracking number appeared with I suspect new Xiaomi m2 sent. It got to the UK 4 April, and then a demand for extra £15 from the carrier for UK duties. This despite goods under £135 being import duty exempt!! So short story is despite it not being clearly stated the goods are coming from China. Don't use PayPal. It transpires that there is no cover from them for goods not bought from eBay. Also PayPal very difficult to deal with. Will be using visa in future where this a guarantee. Do not use this supplier unless you are prepared to lose the money. Very poor supplier not recommend.

Unbelievable. Go and buy these things in better places. I have had such a bad experience buying through LightInTheBox I will never buy anything there again. They told me that my order (that should have been an express order) is late due to high demand and that it will arrive to the warehouse after a few more days. After a few days they said a few more days and a few more. After two weeks I received a message that there was a "customs issue" and that the package came back to the warehouse and that they are canceling the order (when just the same day another representative told me that the item did not reach the warehouse). Shameful deceiving behavior. Look elsewhere.

Will not be using this company as ordered shoes for myself but were too small even though stated my size. Asked for replacement as a bigger size but, these were still too small. Opted for a refund as postage to return items were too expensive in October last year. Still waiting for a refund even though have been communicating with company. I have had no joy and will be complaining to founders of company. This company should not be allowed to trade in the UK.

This is my first-time ordering from this company. Placed order on 3/18. My cc was charged on 3/19. On 3/21, I check to see how much longer would the order take to ship. They said, "we are waiting and will process soon." On 3/25, they said they are waiting from their supplier to see if they will get item or not and don’t know when they will have the item to ship.
I requested to cancel the order so I can buy from another place. On the same day, they cancel my order and said I will get a full refund on my cc 1-2 days. It has been about a week and nothing. Now I can't even go to page/order to contact them. They remove any way to ask about the refund. I had to contact my cc for this. So lesson is they will charge your cc for item they don't even have on hand to sell and they will not refund you when you the order is cancel. Then they won’t response to you anymore. Beware of this company.

Received a defective product. They gave me an option to return it or receive 10 dollar credit. I chose credit. In order to get the credit I had to confirm the order was delivered. Once I did this I checked the balance and it is only .84 cents. They marked the issue as resolved and are ignoring my polite and civilized requests for remuneration.

I receive partial of my items. Never received the rest of my item which was $68.00 worth. Kept contacting them. It seems like its messages that are premade. Doesn't make sense. I can't sue them cause it's a waste of time and money cause they're located in China. I suggest no one buying from them. Don't do expedite. You won't get refunded. If you get your product good but don't accept it to come 2 to 3 business day that will never happen. This web page is like shopping at your own risk. Buy better thru Amazon. It's more legit and you actually talk to live people. LightInTheBox you will never talk to someone live.

I have never written a review before but felt compelled to warn others. DO NOT BUY from this site. I ordered a Bridesmaid dresses for my 4 year old daughter paying for delivery within 8 days. Over 3 weeks later I am now informed my package is in the country but I have to pay an additional £30 to have it delivered as the company are not declaring to customs the true worth of the items. A child's dress that should have cost just £47 now is ending up costing £77. The customer service is awful and in the end they totally ignore your messages. As the dress is obviously for a wedding it has been very stressful due to the poor communication. Please save yourselves the stress and even if you are paying a little extra from somewhere else at least you will have the peace of mind that you won't be send an extra bill.

There is no number to call and the total experience so far sucks. I paid for 2-3 days service. It's been more than a week and I still don't have it. I ordered ONE product. A baby monitoring camera that was specifically meant to link to any of your tablets or smart phone via wi-fi in order to not have any cumbersome cords etc. They sent us the wrong product. I guess I can say at least they managed to send a camera! But it is completely the WRONG one! But joke's on them because the one we ordered was a simple $30 camera and they ended up sending us a MUCH nicer DVR camera home security system (approx. $130)! The only problem is that it requires setup and cords.
I am not even going to bother contacting customer service about this mix-up (especially after reading all the horror stories about how there really ISN'T one anyway). I think we might just end up selling it online or to a friend to get our money back. Our purchase did come in a timely manner BUT it's too bad it was the WRONG thing! Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend anyone use this website!

Horrible - paid premium for 24 Russian Piping Tips to decorate cakes and when I received the package, it only contained 12 tips and the bag inside the mailing envelope had a huge tear. Meaning it was defective from the factory before it was even sent. How could they have not noticed it? Plus, I could not log into my account (had no account even though I had received merchandise) but I found a way to send notice. So I get an email stating that they had sent another and if I didn't receive it to let them know - except I did NOT receive anything and I have no way of contacting them because for some reason I do not have any order under my name. There is no way to contact the company so I am escalating it to PayPal. Hopefully they can get my money back. It's no wonder I do not order anything online!!

I've received after almost 3 month the shoes and then paid 50% more to the customs/taxes etc... I'm living in Canada. The customer service will be prompt and say whatever you want to hear, but in time, don't expect to speed up. The photos are good and the quality is the second hand. The price is small. What can you expect!? IF you order have patience and wait for couple of months when you'll have the products from them. I think for duty free and taxes you should buy the insurance (I've declined) and I am not sure, but possible you get exempt for duty free.

I ordered a dress on February 14th and never received it. I cancelled my order (since it has not even been processed). It's a trap people! You only have 24 hours to cancel an order and even if you never get it? They will not give you a full refund. They won't make the item until you've paid for it. It takes 20 days to get said item but you can only refund it 24 hours after you paid for it. This is a scam! A total ripoff! Run away fast!!! Look at all the other bad reviews if you don't believe me!

The buying process is perfect. There is the possibility of adding shipping insurance, which means that you will be refunded the customs costs. They always give you an answer and try to leave you satisfied.

I ordered an ice skating dress on Jan 25th for my daughter's competition on March 5th. Figured this gave me plenty of time to receive and decide if the dress I ordered will work. The website said it would be 5-8 business days which would have meant I would receive no later than February 3rd. To make a long story short, they "said" they shipped the dress around February 24th but it was shipped back because delivery would not ship to a post office box. The website did not indicate this when I ordered it. They sent me an email and text that didn't give me any info only to click on a link which every time I did the links did not work. I searched over and over for a contact phone number in which I could not find and I could never log into a "message" I needed to read in my account. Finally, once I did it was already 4 days before my daughter's competition.
Once I found out what happened I sent them an email telling them I want a refund since it was now pointless. I never received a refund, today is March 11th and I just received an email today stating the order once again is being shipped and to click on a link to view shipping status. When I click on the link yet again I get a message telling me the link longer exists. It also said it would be delivered by March 8th and to contact them if not. This is the worst place I have ever ordered online. Can't contact them and they take your money and refuse to refund and ignore the request to cancel. I will go back to ordering from the legit company I've ordered from in the past and the skate shop I ended up getting my daughter's competition dress for her competition that is now over. The dress was $80 and I want my money back!

I ordered my product in January 18. I knew the shipping will be slow because the products come from China. I waited, and waited, and waited. Two months went by before I got two of the three products that I bought. The other one is still processing to this date! To be honest, the quality is better than expected, and the products looks the same as in the picture. I knew that their sizes run small, so I order 4XL and they were still a bit small, but not too small. Their customer service does not do anything except making promises and apologizing for the "inconveniences".
I know some of you will read this review and still want to order from them; therefore, I will give you these advice: If you have an event and you decide to buy from them, order from them at least 3 months before your event. Get ready to wait a looong time for your order. If you order clothes, make sure to add at least 3 sizes to what your actual size is. I wear Large, I ordered 4 XL. The quality is not "Good", it is "OK".

I purchased a dress in December last year. It arrived very quickly which was great but the sizing was wrong. I contacted LightInTheBox (via email) and they said if I returned it they would refund my money. I did just that, I went to the post office and sent it back to them via tracked airmail and I have kept all receipts of this. When I got notification that my parcel had arrived at their warehouse, I waited a few days for them to contact me which they didn't so I contacted them. They informed me they had not received my parcel and would not be refunding me anything. I provided them with the receipts stating they had in fact received them and now they keep sending me the same emails saying they never received my email and can I send it again. This has been going on since the 7th of January. The dress cost me AU$200 + the cost of sending it back. This has been my worst online experience ever. Extremely unhappy.

I ordered a mother of the bride dress using the measurements provided by this company. When the dress arrived not only was it too large but the color was incorrect. In addition, It took almost 3 weeks and several emails to find out where the dress was and when it would arrive. As to no hassle returns as their website touts, that did not happen. They first suggested I have the dress altered and they would give me 20 percent off the price. When I told them the color was wrong too, they told me computers are different and could be the reason for the different color. They wanted me to take photos of the dress in natural light and send it to them. I refused and requested my no hassle refund.
After a week and multiple emails to the company they gave me 3 choices: 50 percent refund, and return the dress at my expense, 2nd 71 percent exchange for future purchase and return the dress at my expense and third points on their site for future purchases and return the dress at my expense. I learned a very hard lesson here: NEVER deal with foreign companies because what they say and what they deliver may be two different things. I did call my credit card company who is going to contact the company and try to have my money refunded. MY ADVICE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM LIGHTINTHEBOX!!!

I never write reviews due to lack of time which is why I ordered via internet. I ordered from this site knowing nothing about it... big mistake. I ordered 2 coats over two months ago. Just got tracking info currently shipping out of China. It will be summer by the time the coats arrive here. A couple of weeks after I ordered I received call from American Express fraud protection that charges had been attempted with my AmEx number in Japan. I had used my American Express for this purchase. This was the only unusual place I had used this card. I'm definitely linking the two together. I will update when/if I ever receive the coats. I will not use the site again as it takes too long for items to arrive, greater than 2 months is extreme. I don't have confidence in the site/company secondary to the issue with my credit card account. Lesson learned, read customer reviews before wasting time ordering from internet store based in another country.

I paid for expedited shipping, which they said would take 2-4 days. When my package didn't arrive, they told me it normally takes a week. Why did I pay extra? The stuff comes from China which always takes longer than anything - I've never gotten anything in less than 2 weeks - if I'm lucky. I still haven't received my order.

Ordered a pair of light-up shoes for my daughter for her birthday in early February. Site says 10-20 business days. Shoes never arrived, so I emailed them. "Oops," says they. "The shoes were returned to us by Customs." REALLY?? I call SHENANIGANS on that excuse! Wonder if they were going to tell me, or just leave me hanging out there waiting for shoes that weren't ever going to arrive? At least they offered a refund. It's too late to get them in time for her birthday now.

I ordered a Jr. bridesmaid dress and a flower girl dress from this company the first week of February. I understood that it would take time to ship. When I received the package the bridesmaid's dress was great. Really nice quality. However the other item I received was WRONG. It was a white hoop skirt??? I did not receive the tulle ballgown. I have been around and around with them trying to resolve this issue. All I get back is that my package was received... Thank you come again BS! I am livid! Obviously they packed the wrong item and expect me to pay $39.99 for a freaking hoop skirt I DO NOT NEED. Buy at your own risk. Pray they get it right or you'll be stuck without your correct items. I will NEVER buy from them again. EVER!!!

I ordered a painting via this website. After around 3 weeks of waiting I eventually received a letter from HMRC stating I'd need to pay a chunk of change in import duty!! The duty was over half of the price of the painting and when I quizzed LightInTheBox they simply said this can happen and that I *should* have taken out additional insurance. That was the first time I'd even heard of potential import issues! They then claimed they would refund half of the duty money - and even when I reluctantly agreed, they just didn't do it. I chased several times awaiting a PayPal refund, greeted with complete silence. This is a very dodgy company behind a glossy veneer and fancy website. If you are in the UK and wondering about placing an order, DON'T!!! There's a reason it's that cheap, and not a good one.

I ordered a dress for my daughter to wear for figure skating. I ordered it about 2 weeks before she needed it and paid for the expedited shipping to make sure it arrived in time. It said 3-6 business days for processing and 2-3 days for shipping. I contacted them when it got to the time it should have arrived and it hadn't even shipped. They promised me it would ship by a certain date (well after we needed it), so I cancelled the order. They didn't charge me and we bought another dress elsewhere. I swore to myself I wouldn't use them again.
Now she needs another costume and we found one on that site that would be perfect and we couldn't find anything else she liked as much. I decided to give them one more shot and ordered the dress. This time I have a month, so I'm hoping we have better luck. I'm going to come up with a backup plan so I'm not left scrambling at the last minute. If it's allowed, I will update my review if I get a better result this time.

I ordered a ski helmet for an upcoming ski trip. To make sure that I received it in time, I paid extra to have it delivered within 5-12 days. It is now 4 weeks since I ordered, and did not received the item. All they said when I complained was that I should be patient. And they refused to reimburse me, claiming that they will do it only when I send the item back (how can I do it when I never received it). Never had such problems with AliExpress or dx.com. Stay away from these crooks.

I have used LightInTheBox on many occasions and found their product selection to be very good. However, I would not advise to use them if you are looking for exceptional quality or quick delivery, as a lot of products (especially clothing) are not very durable and some items are often out of stock, which you may not be told at the time of purchase. Also, many sites have a policy of not charging your credit card until the order is fulfilled. LITB is not one of them and resolving unfulfilled orders could be difficult, as they do not have a phone number to call, only an online support ticket service, which is not always responsive.

I purchased a set of curtains (two panels). I only received one. They are asking for a picture (what of the missing curtain?) Ridiculous. They asked for the weight of the package (it was sheer curtains, they are the weight of air and were shipped with 4 other items of weight, which, by the way, weren't acceptable either) and still after weeks of going back and forth, I still haven't received my other curtain panel. Do you think I would put myself through this much aggravation if it wasn't missing! And the other thing was I bought a doggie sweater that was supposed to be an extra large and if it fits a small toy poodle, it would be a miracle. They wanted a picture of that too. So I put that sweater on top of the back of my 55 lb. dog and sent a picture. They are making this so difficult and most unpleasant experience! I just want the other curtain I paid for and refund for the dog sweater. Please help!

Good quality and affordable prices. I got some shirts for my son there in the end of December. With DHL shipping I received it within a week. Quality was really good, stitching was done neatly. My son liked it a lot. I had to pay customs duty, but as I opted for shipping insurance I had it refunded to my bank account. Customer Service was really helpful and refunded customs fee within a few days.

I purchased YWXLIGHT® LED light bulbs from LightInTheBox. Performance of the bulbs was much less than advertised. Subsequent communication with the company was almost impossible. I ended up having to keep the bulbs. After two months some are already malfunctioning (i.e. lighting dull or intermittent) but there is no warranty offered. On their website the product specifies >30,000 hours lifetime. Their website also only shows the good reviews and I know this because my negative review was removed. In conclusion: their marketing ethics are unconscionable and they are not a trustworthy company. Buyer beware.

I decided to write a review about LightInTheBox.com as it was a good experience and really a nice shop that I found by chance. Actually it looks like many other famous internet shops but what surprised me is that they have a very fast delivery. Up to 2 weeks for a usual mail service without Express Post. Any complaints and questions are solved and answered very fast. I have already ordered different items and things for many times and always stay satisfied with price and quality. Once they sent the wrong order but also solved the problem fast and returned money in two business days for a new purchase.

I purchased 2 red LED light bulbs to use in a the display part of a flame effect fire. The price wasn't my initial concern just the fact they were LED therefore low power and hopefully safe. It took weeks for anything to arrive despite constant emails I was sent advising of dispatch and pushing more offers. Only one arrived finally... In a flimsy plastic bag & the crushed box was empty. The bulb was floating free in the packet. It had the cheapest opaque plastic bulb 'case' which was totally detached from the metal fitting and its wires were all exposed and detached in places from the circuit board inside. The other bulb never materialised. I filled in the appropriate form, submitting photo as required and waited.
After a first French language response I was finally emailed and promised a refund & was given an assurance they'd investigate the shoddy dangerous quality of the bulb(s) with their supplier. I was told the refund would be in my PayPal account in 3-5 working days but over a week later I still had to chase them. They instantly close all routes of access to Customer Service once They feel They have resolved your complaint, so I had to email their corporate address in order to get an answer. They've just emailed to say I need to 'claim' this refund by clicking on another page and request it's repaid into my PayPal acc etc. Not originally explained in the offer for a refund. I noticed my original payment for 2.94 was being refunded by a payment of 1.94 (admittedly it's a small sum but it's the principle!).
I have never had to work so hard to get any satisfaction when purchasing things online. This messing about and poor quality customer service and sale of dangerous goods is all going on whilst this company sends relentless adverts and pushy sales emails to you. It's maddening. Please please NEVER EVER BUY FROM Lightinthebox no matter how glossy their ads, tempting their prices or friendly they appear. They are a shambolic company at best or as I'm inclined to believe a front for grabbing cash and fobbing folk off with lame excuses and dreadful cheap rubbish items we could all live without. I've taken the bulb I received to my Trading Standards authority and they said it was a potentially deadly item. This is my main concern. Don't risk buying from this terrible company... You could lose more than a few dollars/pounds. I'm horrified.

Am residing in Singapore and bought some dresses on Black Friday sale! I purchased from overseas and I have to bear the courier charge when few of the items doesn't fit me. I spent 25 Singapore dollars. They refunded me after 2 months, that too by pestering them. Expect ticket, there is no way to contact customer case which is very poor service. And the tickets will be closed automatically after few days irrespective of the issue status.

They're located in China so you're only able to contact them via email. I ordered 30 flood lights from them and as of February 2017, it's been three months with no product. They quickly processed my credit card payment and continue to lie about delivery of the product. They said the product was signed and delivered. I told them I did not receive and have checked with all my neighbors on both sides of the street. I've asked for proof from the freight company but since they're probably lying about delivery signature, they just ignore this part of my request. Buy at your own risk - these guys will rip you off.

As I was looking for a well priced coat for my son's birthday and as budget is tight in these months, I ordered a nice looking winter jacket from the website. When we tried to order off this site and entered our credit-card number, VISA automatically shut down my credit card as they have this site tagged as fraudulent. I had to call VISA to reinstate my card. Notice there are no phone numbers, mailing addresses to contact the company, and the security code is not a certified one. Do not order from this site. It looks like a great site to shop at but I should have known better. They did a good job of trying to look like they were North American but I as a frequent shopper should have known better than to shop with them. Once you see a site with the timer sale countdown in the top corner. They are Asian most ties and play so many games. Getting your merchandise is almost near impossible. You watch your order flop around from Asian city to Asian city and then it stops! They do not do anything past that. Then they tell you to go look for your order. That's the thanks you get shopping with sites that use that Asian tracking garbage. It's a scam to give you hope and make you think your items are coming. They are Not! You have to fight them to get it and if you have a job that is very time consuming.
I repeat Do Not shop at LightInTheBox! They use American models but they are an Asian site. The fact that they don't want that to be known shows the deception right there. They give the usual warehouse excuses and postal excuses. This is why no one wants to shop Asian and they know that so they try to hide that your items are coming from Asia until you buy. Here's a little piece of advice: Never, ever, Ever, EVer, EVEr, EVER order from LightInTheBox! Fast Shipping? Sure it is shipped out the next day (ordered on 1/17/17), but it's still not here! The tracking number on the order status page is invalid and Customer Service is no help. I have asked for a valid tracking number twice, but all I get is something that looks like an auto response that begins with "Thank you for your order" and ends with "Thank you for understanding" and it's from someone who definitely doesn't speak English. Quit giving me the runaround and answer my question - where is my order? Do they really think I would order from them again so I can use the shipping reward they are offering? Just because you find a good price on something doesn't necessarily mean it's a good buy!

I tracked the package, which said it was being returned to the sender because of an issue with the shipping address. The address was correct! Express Expedited Shipping - I get that my wig came from all the way from China but when I ordered it they said that they guarantee it will be shipped to my home within 2-3 days. I ordered a PS4 remote for my son for Christmas. It did not arrive before Christmas, it did not work properly, and was totally incompatible with other PS4 accessories. So, I wanted to return the item... Customer service did everything they could to drag out the process in hopes I would give up. Thankfully I ordered through PayPal and opened up a claim. Finally I got them to submit return information (because they told me it couldn't be returned to the address on package). However, the link (with the address and return info) they sent multiple times through PayPal, their customer service and my email was totally inaccessible and could not be viewed. Still had no idea where to send it!
So, after more than a month of dealing with their BS I escalated the claim through PayPal. I finally received their return address directly through PayPal (it was the same address on package), but I have to pay for return shipping. I haven't shipped it yet but now I'm going to have to pay $5-10 to return the item that they shipped late and damaged. Then they get to decide if it is in the same condition before they refund. I don't trust them one bit! Can't wait to see how this pans out! Either way I have wasted a serious amount of time and I am still going to have to pay for their mistake. Not fair! I will NEVER shop with them again and I recommend the same for you. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!

LightInTheBox.com put false advertise on free shipping after $90 purchase. I spent about $120, it charged me almost $12 shipping cost. I requested a reimbursement and the Company kept ignoring my request without any explanation. I escalated the dispute with Paypal but unfortunately Paypal said its purchase protection doesn't cover stand alone shipping costs. I also noticed that LightInTheBox.com will not allow you to put any negative rating on its website store. It will not publish your negative comments or ratings. So All the 5 stars rating out there are bias. The clothes are also cheap in fabric and workmanship. I wouldn't recommend it.

LightintheBox is a scam! First of all, the marketing of this site is very attractive, with the low prices and trendy items but once they get your money the quality is cheap, poor or usually incorrect and trashed. I ordered some jewelry and it took over a month for me to get it (after several emails back and forth regarding where is my purchase). Once the jewelry came one piece was broken, just a piece of junk. I dismissed it because the other items were in fair condition and I wasn't going to argue over a $3.00 item.
However I ordered a pair of boots at a larger price quote and again after OVER a month they finally came and it was the wrong item completely!! I reached out to them and advised that I was issued sending them a photo of shoes or barcode, however I sent them the barcode information in an email and also offered to send the item back to them for proof, they were rude and uncooperative! I'm still trying to be made whole over a horrible mistake! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY, I BEG YOU! If I could give them NO STARS I would! They are a cheap, fake online discount store.

My fiance ordered a dress for me and we never received it. Lightinthebox did nothing to help us. The tracking information stated that the package was delivered on December 9th. Because I still haven't received it, I went to the USPS post office today and asked them about it. They told me that they do not have the package and that I should file a claim since I never received it. They said they could not find it in their warehouse and in case if it is lost the seller, which is Lightinthebox, has to file a claim to get a refund. I paid Lightinthebox money for a product and you guys failed to deliver it to me. Technically, I have the right to demand the refund back or at least you guys need to resend the item. I am ok with a proper refund. Lightinthebox cannot just take a customer's money and run away without delivering anything!

Not only was I sent defective light bulbs that ALL went down after a few days but I had to pay custom fees which were not displayed during the purchase and their customer service was totally incompetent and made me wait over 30 days to send me a shipping back number while telling me I had gone over the 30 days return policy. Recently ordered 3 light fittings that looked really good on the pictures. First of all I had to pay over £53 in Chinese import duties to have them delivered (I had not realised this would be the case). When they arrived they were cheap looking and tacky and I wanted to return them. Every parcel carrier I tried needed at least a telephone number of the place where the goods were going to be returned to - some also needed an email address. Light In The Box flatly refused to supply this information saying they did not have to. I am stuck with a parcel I cannot return, and, therefore, cannot get a refund. I would advise everybody to stay away from this company.

I placed an order for 2 dive skins on November 30th for departure to the Galapagos on December 14th. Even though there was plenty of time, I paid the extra for expedited delivery (3-5 business days), just to be sure. I am now returned from Ecuador - January 13th - and DHL wants to deliver the items. To add insult to injury, not only did I not have the suits for diving in the Galapagos, now I have to pay an additional 60% (approx.) to DHL for taxes and shipping, which were supposedly prepaid to LightInTheBox. I have been unable to find either an email address or telephone number for LightInTheBox to even attempt a satisfactory resolution to this matter. I will NEVER purchase from this company again! I had ordered 2 Dragon Ball Z action figures from LightInTheBox.com on November 29th for my brother-in-law for Christmas only because their website advertised their shipping was 5-8 days. I was sent a confirmation email on November 30th, saying that my order had been processed and shipped. They sent me a tracking number that did not work. The only thing that was displayed was "Your order is processing." With some codes.
By December 15th I had still not received my order according to the "5-8 days" shipping time so I sent the website's customer care an email stating that I had not received my package and that I would like to know at least where it was and if I would receive it by December 24th. Their customer representative who emailed me back proceeded to say "Due to high requests this month your package may be delayed. Please wait until January 7th to receive your package."
I was also subscribed to receive promotional emails from this website and as of December 15th, they were still sending emails that said "Order now to receive your Christmas order by Christmas." So I was a little confused as to why my order would take until January 7th, if the website was still claiming to be able to send out orders by Christmas.
I waited until December 23rd to again email the website so that I could at least find out where my package was. I even told them that the tracking did not work and did not display where it was because in the first email they had sent me they had claimed to be able to call and find out where your package was if it was late. The person who emailed me back said that since it was peak season all packages were going to be delayed, and that I should wait until January and if I do not need the packages anymore then I can send them back when they arrive and get a refund when the company received the packages again. Again they did not even bother to address the fact that the website was still advertising on time delivery when I had sent them an email.
Finally on January 9th, I received my order that I had placed on November 29th. Considering that these two items are something you would collect, I thought maybe they would have at least put "Fragile" or handle with care or at least done a better job with the boxing. Both boxes arrived damaged and dented. Thrown into the box without a care; no papers or anything about what my order was. I would highly NOT recommend this website to anyone. Do not order from them. Their customer service them seems to just have a copy and paste passage that they use to tell all customers when they do not receive their orders. Awful service, lies, and false advertising.

Do not do business with this company. I was charged twice for one order 7 months ago!!! Ordered 2 vessel sinks in July. Total cost $529.34. August credit card statement listed 2 charges of $529.34 EACH. I have many attempts to get the second charge of $529.34 refunded to no avail. It is NOT possible to contact this company in any manner. I have printouts from my account with LightInTheBox that show the refund due, however my credit card company have not received a refund nor have I.
Frankly, I would never have ordered had I known this company was located in China. Their address is listed as California, which is where I placed my order. Check out the (many) other reviews on ConsumerAffairs or the BBB. I sure wish I had. Do not rely on other reviews that I believe are fake. I have been cheated out of $529.34. Since this is not only across state lines but out of the country, this is a federal offense, thus I intend to file a federal complaint against this company striving to get all who were cheated repaid. Note to the wise, do not buy from China.

I receive message from customer service wanting me to locate the item. USPS has no record of either tracking number. Both packages have been at JFK airport since 12/19. I've ordered a package on November 26th with expedited shipping (5-8 business days) and having after the stated period. After 3 weeks I clicked on Package Not Received button on the order page and a popup message indicating the usual time for shipping was up to 30 days. So I waited for more than 30 days and on Dec 29th (still haven't received the package) I clicked on the Package Not Received icon again and surprising it worked. I requested for a refund and they replied with a very nice e-mail and asked me to patiently waited until Jan 4.
On Jan 6 I still haven't received the package and when I tried to request the refund again, the ticket was closed on Jan 5 (one day after Jan 4). I clicked on Package Not Received again, Return or Replace Product and all methods resulted in Access Denied message. All they say are excuses to ask you to wait and wait but leave you no chance to request for refund. DON'T EVER, EVER BUY FROM THIS SCAMMER AGAIN!!!

They first took 10 days for what should have been up to 4 processing days and when I inquired, no one could tell me anything until I started to behave very badly on the customer tickets. O e person finally told me that the reason processing is taking so long is Beaune they can't find 2 items, so I told them to take off the items and refund me. They took the items off the order, but never refunded me. When I received the rest of my order, which I must say, that shipping was very fast (within the 3-4 days as promised). The items were of the worst quality I have ever seen in my life. Horrible quality clothing and the sizes are in no way true to form, although they say it is. The male jeans I purchased were the lightest pair of jeans I have ever seen; almost a thin stretch material and is not true denim. I am planning on returning everything, but I'm going to need all my money back first. I highly recommend that no one buys from this site.

I ordered two products in November 2016 as presents for my sister for Christmas. I was guaranteed delivery in 5 to 8 business days and therefore purchased the items knowing that I would receive them prior to Christmas. It is January 4th 2017 and I'm still waiting for the delivery of the presents. I am very unsatisfied with the customer service. They were unwilling to assist me in any way or provide me a refund for the product which I have waited 30+ business days for! I would like to warn others not to purchase from their site as their shipping and delivery times are not accurate and their customer service is not helpful or willing to accommodate.

Please do not and I stress, DO NOT order from this company. I purchased an item on December 17th 2016 for my 7 year old granddaughter who was visiting for the Christmas Holiday. During the ordering process it asked if I wanted to expedite my item which I did in order to get it within 3-4 business days. Let me just stress that today is January 2nd 2017 and my package still has not arrived. Mind you the original expected delivery date was December 31st. I contacted the company 5 different times through e-mail along with phone calls and all I keep receiving is some unknown person that keeps telling me my package will be shipped soon. However today an e-mail was sent stating that it should arrive 3-4 business days. I tried getting the expedite fee returned to my credit card but they denied me saying that I needed to give them more processing time.
There should be a law that companies should not be allowed false advertise over the internet. Now if my package does not arrive this week I have to contact my bank to see what help I can get from them. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. My granddaughter has left so now if the package ever comes I have to pay another fee in order to ship them to her. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE people do not order from LightInTheBox. You are better off going through Amazon or eBay. At least they will make sure that if your package is not received or you pay an expedite fee to get it shipped quicker they go after the company to make sure you are treated fairly and refunded if not. What a horrible experience this has been for me ordering ONE item from this company which still has not arrived to date. I'm so upset!!!

I noticed that at the end you are tagged with odd shipping charges with preferred shipping greyed out. The other merchandise was too cheap to be real and after reading reviews will ignore spam asking me to finish buying merchandise I already took out of basket. First time I have had a company badger me after using the back button on browser and emptying basket.

I have had the same experience as several others with the company. I placed an order of just under $150 with them on December 12, 2016 (the transaction was posted to my account the 13th). I paid extra for the fastest shipping. It was represented on the site that the items would ship within a 24 hr period and that with the faster shipping I paid it would take 3-4 business days to arrive. I first inquired about where my order was on the 22nd. The response I was given was that my order would ship no later than the 23rd.
Now I'm told my order shipped the 28th (tracking shows it was loaded onto a ship today the 2nd). I have yet to see my items, so can't review the actual product, but so far I am getting nothing but the runaround and answers that say it takes longer and longer to get here and my frustrations are mounting. They have not offered any refund as requested and their customer service responses are not helpful, just more of the same runaround. Just want to help steer others away from making the same mistake I unknowingly did.

Purchased an item that was not as described, and tried to return it. They offer a refund lower than the purchase price which I disagree with. Had to escalate it with PayPal (which they are proving to be very difficult with). I sent the item back and have heard no word from the company. I re-escalate the issue back to PayPal and still no refund. The item should of reached them since the 17th of December.

They charge you without having the product in stock. You should never charge a customer for an item until it actually ships. They don't automatically refund your card, but issue a credit with an email saying your You have seven days to respond to the resolved issue. Then to top it off you have to go in and click Withdraw, to get the money back onto your card taking up to 14 Business Days! I wonder how many people they have scammed. Plus I paid extra for expedited shipping to have it here before Christmas. No phone numbers, etc. These guys are crooks.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. I placed an order of $190 purchases. I was told the order was "shipped" with UPS via a tracking number on Dec 20, 2016. However, the UPS tracking showed it was not shipped. Every time when I opened a ticket to ask for help, but the ticket was closed immediately after it was submitted without real resolve by someone called Sarah. There is no email address, no phone number you can reach the customer service. But I did find a number from Chinese website (in Chinese). However, the phone has been always busy for hours/days, no one take the phone call. IT IS SCAM FOR SURE.

By far the worst eCommerce brand on the planet. I purchased an item from LightIntheBox on the 9/12 and the shipping was supposed to be 3 to 5 working days. By the 20th of December, I still did not receive anything and the shipping period has been increase to 5 to 10 working days. It looks I cannot cancel anymore the purchase and it looks difficult to directly contact the customer service. I would highly suggest everyone avoid to buy from them. As with everyone else on here... I too was scammed by the "expedited shipping". An extra cost of $17.02 that turned out to be complete BS. After ordering and seeing that "everything was in stock and ready to ship"... I logged back in and saw that they weren't going to ship for another 10 days after ordering. Then, I find out that my 4-5 Day delivery is out of the question according to DHL... who said that this company does this all the time... People need to find this webpage and stop ordering from these clowns. I told them I want a refund because the order STILL hasn't left China yet... and I ordered 20 days ago. LightIntheBox is highly inconsistent. I order for goods, paid only to get a mail that goods are out of stock. I asked they should send the rest of my goods. I didn't get my goods till 3 weeks later even though I paid for Express. The goods were substandard. I think this site should be banned, they cheats. It's not good value for money, I ended up paying 127 euro to DHL for custom charges for clothes that are not useful. It's really annoying.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. I placed two orders a day apart and one was "shipped" two days after placing the order and the other was shipped 10 days after placing the order. They tell you that it will take 5-8 days for delivery. However after 10 days my first package still had not arrived. I contacted "customer services" which you can only do online. There is no telephone number to call. I received a generic response about package not received, stating that it could take up to 30 days for delivery, they have no control of shipping companies. I responded stating this was unacceptable as the package contained gifts for Christmas so delivering them on Jan 13th was not satisfactory and to refund my order in full. I am still waiting to hear from them.
My second package appears to be being delivered this week. However I have received a message stating that I owe a further £36 (on top of the £45 shipping fee) for importation charges - at no point during the process of ordering does it tell you that you will have to pay these charges. Again I have emailed them as such and requested a full refund and again I received a generic response stating that they are not responsible for importation charges. AVOID AT EVERY COST.

After posting reviews, I did get a response from customer service. It seems the only way to communicate with them is through sites like this if you want anything beyond their automated choices. There is no way to email, phone, or chat. I was able to get my refund and presume it will hit my credit card in a few days as customer service suggests. They have a button called "withdraw" which, in this system at least seems to mean "withdraw the credit and put it back on my credit card" and not "withdraw my request" or "withdraw funds" or "withdraw because I used it" or something else.

I ordered a painting from them, but what I got didn't look anything like the photo on their website. Like a poor attempt at copying something similar to the original. Absolutely hideous. This is not going on my wall... They did offer me a refund, but shipping back to China is $80, which I'd have to pay out of my own pocket. Since I have no idea if I'd ever get the shipping fee back either, I decided to just throw the painting in the trash and be done with it. I don't have time for this. I ordered Dive torches for me and my partner required for a trip. As per their delivery times it was 5-8 working days and I allowed time for it. However, by time it did not turn up and the tracking code given is fake -> does not track anything. Yet they keep saying that's the tracking code. It shows "no item found!" Most ridiculously, they are telling me now allow about 35 days for delivery! "As a token of our apology, we would like to offer you a rewards worth shipping fee 14.12 AUD." This company has no customer service department to contact so it is considered fraudulent. I had to push the issue to get past the first representative at Chase to do a dispute and reversal but once I spoke with her manager and mentioned I had no way to contact them she put me over to their fraud dispute department and they refunded my money and started an investigation. These people promised a delivery within 3-5 days and their tracking number is fake and my package is untrackable. This is illegal. A POS (point of sale) is contractual.

I purchase some Christmas lights. They sent me 220 volt lights. They agreed to take them back if I paid for the shipping back to China and only after the lights arrived in China. First, the shipping costs more than I paid for the lights. Secondly, for any of you have dealt with Chinese companies, the returned lights would mysteriously never arrive, so why would anyone bother. I tried to log on so I could track my order but it kept saying "login failed". I therefore tried to submit the form for a new password but every email they send has no content! It is a complete blank email!! As I can't contact them until I have logged in this is very frustrating. I thought I was dealing with a company in the U. K but it turns out they are in China I think. My experience is similar to a few other customers on this site. They promise a 4-5 day delivery while ordering if we pay extra for the courier option. I was happy about that because I needed my goods ASAP. Upon not receiving my items after 4-5 days I logged back again to check that the estimated "Shipping" date was 3 weeks away. I immediately cancelled my order but to my surprise instead of receiving a refund, I received an email stating that suddenly my items were shipped! SOME MAGIC TRICK!!! Now they tell me that I cannot cancel my order because they shipped it. What's even more disappointing is that when I entered the tracking number on the suggested courier site, it gives me a message stating "Item is not found at this moment. If necessary, please verify with the package sender".

Firstly, they lie about the delivery time. Lie; 2) The tracking is non-existent; 3) When you go to check where the package is, over weeks, the same info pops up. "It's on its way". Not. After weeks and weeks and complaints they say it's lost (although tracking keeps saying otherwise- I think it's an automatic computer reply). Then I ask for a refund. Several back and forth over weeks. I finally did get the refund but would never ever recommend them. They should be shut down.

If you order this headlamp, be aware that you haven't finished buying what you need in order to use it. In addition to what you receive when you order it, it requires 2 "18650" batteries (rechargeable lithium ion batteries that look like extra-long "AA" batteries), AND, of course, you also need a charger for those batteries. Now here's the really stupid part - the headlight has a charging port but you don't know what size jack it requires, and even if you can figure it out, you will need to find some recharging unit that has the correct voltage output, and has the exact plug that will fit the stupid jack in the light!

Additional Information. I did not receive my package on time. When I ordered my swimsuits, I picked 5-8 business shipping. I wrote them three times when I found out that it took them 5 days to even ship my package out and that I would receive my package a day late after I had left for my trip. Apparently, according to them, the 5-8 business days occurs after they send it out. But they held it for 5 days before they shipped it. Today is Dec 6th, and my birthday and trip is tomorrow. (12/7) I ordered the swimsuits before Thanksgiving and my friend whose going on the trip (one I referred to purchase from the website) ordered hers after me.
When We saw that they waited until after Thanksgiving to ship my package and that it would arrive on the 8th, we were not pleased. I told her about it and we both wrote the company. Because her item wasn't shipped yet they expedited hers and she got hers Friday, (12/2) even though she placed her order after me. So the birthday girl (me) had to run around today short notice to try to find a swimsuit, which I did not find. I wasted $35! When I told them about my dissatisfaction (the 4th time), they replied by offering me a 15% coupon for my next purchase. I am very dissatisfied but happy that I alerted my friend of their delayed shipping policy, so she could get hers. But I have no swimsuit for my birthday. I will not be using their company again!

Immediately after placing order I noticed that the delivery date was going to be December 26 however before ordering I checked and paid for expedited Shipping which I was under the impression would be 3 to 4 days to order. I placed this order on December 1. As soon as I paid a shipping date came up that was just not going to work for me so I immediately contacted them within 10 minutes after placing the order and said if I could not receive order by December 15 I would need to cancel this order. I received a response pretty much stating that I would only be receiving 50% of a refund on a 141$ order and I should consider keeping the purchase and that I would be happy with the product.
I then sent them another request to cancel and I received another reply stating that they could not give me a refund because they were already working on the item and all I will receive is 50% of the total. I resent another request to cancel this order. I cannot find a number to contact their customer service department. I guess I should have look for A PHONE NUMBER prior to placing an order with this company. So BEWARE of ordering from the LIGHTINTHEBOX!!! THEY HAVE NO CONTACT NUMBER. I will keep you up to date on trying to get a full refund from this company.

I received these curtains quite quickly and was pleased with that. Sadly that's where being pleased stopped. I opened them, asked my friend to come over and help me put them up. I am not well at the moment so couldn't manage alone. I was shocked and disappointed to say the least when I noticed several holes the curtains and they were such poor quality. They have been stitched too tightly and are all pulled at the edges. I contacted customer services (I use this term very loosely) straight away and I supplied photos. They are not interested. They are aware that I needed the curtains and that I am unwell and don't need this stress and cannot get out to send them back which, let’s face it I should not have to do. To say the least I have to order some more, I will never go outside the UK again to purchase. Buyers beware. I am going to try and get my money back. Wish me luck.

I order my package on 10/28. Wait until 11/29. They email me to track my order, but when checking the tracking of my package, tracking said items not found. Contact them on 11/21 to 11/23, they told me to contact them back after 11/26. So as I'm writing this review at 11/29, I haven't received my package. I tried to send them 4 email but no response from them. And I see my order status is resolved mark down from they customers service. That means I lost my money. This is a scam business. I've been a long term customer of this online store, and I must say they never let me down. Quality is always good, shipping fast, thorough packaging. Delivery takes about 30 days if it's economy shipping. We have rather high customs duty on import above 25 euros, but this site offers optional duty refund which is extremely convenient for me. In my last order I've purchased a custom made wedding dress and it was a huge bargain. I've received an awesome dress for a rather low price. I would have never found anything so beautiful for such a price in my local shops. It's a really nice and reliable store. I would advise everybody to give it a try.

I ordered some stuffs (a cellphone, cosmetics, a sweatshirt, and 2 earphones). The cellphone and the earphones came very fast, but the cosmetics was delivered 2-3 months after and the sweatshirt was 6 months after. The products are really good, but the delivery is very slow for products that are not electronics. By the way, they went with a tax that cost 100% of the price that I did already pay. I didn't know that I could be reimbursed, so I've lost the proof of the tax. I didn't care so much about it because the cellphone was very cheap (I live in Brazil, it cost like 30% of the price that I would pay in Brazil). So, even with the delay and the tax, I still shopping and trusting in them.

I ordered an item on the 30th October and the next day the tracking service stated it was on its way. This didn't change for days and then it was updated on their site on 5th November to say it was on its way. On the 16th I filed a complaint online to LightInTheBox. The response was apologetic and they stated they had contacted the supplier to tell them to send it priority, and stated that if the item was not delivered by 24th October then to contact them. At the same time LightInTheBox changed the status of the complaint to 'resolved'.
I immediately wrote back to say that nothing was resolved. They then responded with a wait until 24th Oct statement. I kept checking the delivery/tracking status and wrote again to them and on the 22nd to ask what was happening the item was showing on the tracking to still be in China. They then stated that it can take up to 30 days (the initial delivery schedule was stated as 5-8 days). Also if I no longer needed the product then they would provide a refund. On the 23rd and 24th I requested them to cancel the order and make a refund, and again on the 24th. On the 25th I sent another message asking if I would ever hear from them again. To date 26th there has been no further response from them, nothing.

Will never deal with this company again after being promised a refund and never seeing it despite several reminders. They use very nice lighting and photoshop techniques to make their products look good. The reality is they are ugly and smell of cheap plastic. I have ordered several times with them, because that is how many times they have made mistakes that has resulted in rewards and credits via their damn store. I had to use my money because getting a cash refund is a near impossible task! Here are few sample responses that anyone who has had to go through with them can relate to.
"We're sincerely sorry that we replied you incorrectly. We've received your items returned: **. We will arrange the full refund (62.91 AUD) for you as soon as possible." "We know it is out fault for refund both **. We terribly sorry for the mistake." <-- Items were meant to be a replacement. I shipped it to the address given to me, but instead they refunded it so that I would have to again pay for shipping and reorder the items! TWICE!
They are always polite with their responses but they have no clue what you have just written to them. I reordered my items plus other items, this time, they have a delay on the SAME coat! Now instead of sending me all the other 6 items first and then sending the coat out at a later date, they decided to hold hostage all of my items. When questioned, they told me to cancel the order! So basically, they will hold my items hostage unless I cancel the order for the last item. Seriously, this company will kill you with their politeness and reward systems if it could! Still fighting to stop them from giving me rewards and just give me my money back!

When ordering lipstick, the colours don't always essentially seem to be the colour displayed on the screen. I chose two colours and one was out of stock - I was told with an hour of placing the order, then they gave 4-5 different options, so I had a look and chose another colour. Beware of LightInTheBox as they cheat and scam. On October 26th I ordered shoes from this company. Size I ordered was 42. Shoes that arrived were size 36, wrong colour from what I ordered, wrong material and rubbish quality. Also I had to pay high import tax. All could be 'forgiven' if at least the size was right. When I confronted this company that they had shipped the wrong size, they acknowledged they had shipped the wrong size and then plainly refused to do anything about it or take any responsibility. Refund was simply denied and my complaint marked "solved". In my opinion this website is purely cheating. Stay away from them as far as possible. Zero accountability and they will ship to you whatever rubbish product is in front of them at the time.

However the product is working fine with the official MI fit app that means it is original. I ordered a pair of shark competition swim shorts from them. They confirmed the purchase and sent me tracking info. I expedited delivery and was supposed to receive the item in 3 business days. A week rolled by and you looked at the tracking, but it was still processing??? I immediately tried to find out how to contact customer service but there was no number and the ONLY WAY TO contact them was through email. I of course did this and to my chagrin, they did not answer me.
Another week goes by and I see that my item is still "processing"? I find out that this company is located in China, but that crucial information was not listed on the site. Luckily, I purchased with PayPal! I call PP right then and explained to them what happened. They filled me in on the 411 that this company does this kind of thing a lot. I purchased tapware for Australian upon payment and delivery I noted the product was note certified for use in Australia. I contacted LightInTheBox who agreed to provide a full refund for my total order ($AUD1,450). Upon exploring return shipping options I contacted them to advise my only option was DHL which would cost $AUD1,000. They advised me to proceed and agreed to refund $AUD2,500 once received in China. My goods arrived in China, and DHL advised they were "stuck" in customs. They then updated me that they had made contact with LightInTheBox who asked for the shipment to be redirected to an address in Hong Kong. I contacted LightInTheBox immediately who replied that was okay, as they also had a warehouse in Hong Kong. I received written notification from DHL of delivery, including the address it was sent to and the name of the individual who signed for the package.
Since that day, on 27th September, I have continually asked LightInTheBox to process my refund. The only reply I receive is that they are trying to locate my package, and that their logistics manager is looking into it. I don't believe they have any intention of acknowledging receipt of the returned goods, or providing a refund for either the returned products or the shipping costs incurred, despite their agreement to do so.

On September 27, 2016 I ordered 1 package of Super Shiny Eye Shadow #04765706 for $9.89, and 6 packages of False Eyelashes #02338957 for $9.53 for a total of $19.03 + $1.67 shipping. I paid $20.70. My credit card was charged but the products were received. I filed a complete through the message forum of LightInTheBox website and they simply responded that the products were shipped. They asked for tracking information.
You see, this is where they get you. You can purchase tracking or opt out of tracking. I did not purchase tracking. It's a scam! If you do not purchase tracking then they never actually ship any product. They will not reply to any additional correspondence I have sent. I requested a refund since no products were ever received. They simply ignored my request and have not responded. I will never give LightInTheBox.com another penny of my money. I suggest no other consumer purchase from them either unless you just don't need your hard-earned money.

I ordered a Halloween costume for my son and a couple things for the wife. I paid $44.31 and never got a confirmation number or order number but the money was removed from my account? There is no possible way to get to customer service without an order number which I never received! No other numbers or contacts... It was placed on 10-7-2016 and again nothing. They don't even show it in my order history but my credit card sure did.

This was my first time shopping at LightInTheBox.com. I was looking for a product from a local site to be assured of a quick delivery. The product I bought costs 48.99 Euros, plus about 14.78 Euros for shipping. I received it quickly (in 2 days) but was charged 27 Euros in taxes for the product. It was an opened box! It was a used article!
I also had no idea it came from a foreign country - as there is no indication of this anywhere on the website, or upon checkout. I only found out from the delivery person charging me that in The Netherlands, ALL LightInTheBox products go through customs - and the recipients eventually taxed. LightInTheBox should be transparent about where the products are shipped from. I had the notion that it was just a regular local website. This is a misrepresentation of this business.

Well ordered credit card knives for Christmas and here it is Oct of the next year and still do not have them. No phone number to actually get a person to talk to and email seems to get you nowhere. They show they were delivered after several email but of course not true. I would stay clear from this site. Shady business when no phone number is offered! No customer service! The product was cheap that I ordered but still expected to get it and nothing!

First and foremost - it took 4 weeks to receive my Order, which comprised a Halloween Mask and several Men’s Dress Shirts. I thought the company might be suspicious when it took 15 days to even get a Shipped Notice with Tracking number, and then I noticed my order was being shipped by Yanwen express freight – BIG RED FLAG. They charged my Credit Card the very same day I orders, but didn’t ship for 2 weeks – STRIKE ONE!
Secondly – Size LARGE is actually size EXTRA SMALL. I can sometimes wear Medium as I have a trim fit, but I couldn’t even get my arms through the sleeves! Being that this company is suspect to poor customer service, it doesn’t make sense to try and return for a refund; my time is more valuable than fighting with these people for a return - STRIKE TWO! Purchased a petticoat that was supposed to be one size fits all and knee length and when it arrived it was about 10" long and would fit a 5 year old and did NOT arrive by the date it was promised! When I attempted to return it they told me I had to pay a very HIGH freight cost to return it and they would give me 30% of the cost back when it arrived. I purchased several dresses. I ordered much larger than normal and they are still too small. Add to that the quality makes Kmart look stellar. So I wish to return. Now what - well you much log in. Conveniently (for them), their computer does not recognize my email. Thus I cannot log in. One cannot call - there is no phone. The return page is a lesson in technology - check out their customer services (not) page - it's ridiculous. I buy every item of clothing these days online. Never ordered from this company. After a terrible experience at TracFone; with purchase of Bring your own Smart Phone SIM Kit; I declined using Tracfone and went ahead with continuing service with Verizon Wireless. Tracfone has my previous service payment card number plus my cell phone number. I gave no permission to use either. I checked the balance on my bank card to discover Lightinbox San Jose CA had ripped off my account for $321.99. Are there two different companies? Lightinbox or Lightinthebox? I've asked the bank to stop payment but fear they will hit again so I have to do a card cancellation. Please look into these companies as I do not want others to receive fraudulent claims as I have. On 20 Sep 2016, I used PayPal to pay for my LightInTheBox order. Learning it would not ship until some time in Oct, I cancelled the order on 24 Sep. LightInTheBox has acknowledged the cancellation, but says my PayPal refund will take 3 to 5 days to process. This transaction was less then $40. I can understand a few hours, but not days to process.

I recently purchased several items for my bicycle: A West Biking bike rack, a bike mirror, a light, and gloves. Everything came in one box and nothing was wrapped. The mirror was broken (why would you ship a mirror without wrapping it to ensure that it will not get broken?). The rack came without a box and there were no instructions for assembly. There are pictures online, but I should not have to go through the extra work. Other companies ship the item inside a box with instruction. I wrote customer service and I received a reply stating that they were going to combine the two complaints because it was one order. That seemed reasonable. They asked that I attach a photo which I did. I attempted to put together the rack only to discover that the tools they included did not work. There were two screws that need to be loosen in order for the extension rod to release and attach to the bike. They could not be loosened so the product cannot be used.
I never heard from them again so I decided to check my account on their website. They did reply there versus my personal email which they had previously. They wanted me to ship the items back and said that they sent a return slip with the order. That is not true. Whatever shortcut that could take to get your money they did. After my purchase I went online to see if other customers had complaints. There were plenty. Lightinthebox knows and understands that they do not have to have good customer service because once they get your money there is nothing you can do about it. They offer prices that you think are great. It is not worth the hassle. Spend the extra ten dollars and deal with a company that appreciates your business. Lightinthebox knows that there will be someone else in line to buy their products. Do not let it be you.

I had made transactions with them in the past and always had items that were manufactured wrong. Don't look at all like what they advertised. This last purchased was just the cherry on top to stop me from ever using their website again. Order about 140 dollars worth of items. Now from the get go they are charging me for expedited shipping, which you can not opt out of and due to this one item being out of stock delays my shipping back for about two weeks. They didn't let me know what the hold up was. I had to inquire about why my package wasn't shipped yet.
After finding this one item wasn't in stock you think they would give me a refund without me having to ask since it never shipped out to me, well no. After opening a ticket and going back and forth with the customer service person about how they gave me a coupon to use for money off another purchase (which was not for this item it was for another top that was manufactured wrong) and I kept telling her that I wanted my money back. Why would I take a coupon for money off another purchase and not just get a refund?. Well end of the story I never received that item nor did I get my money back from their website. Do not buy from LightInTheBox is cheap stuff from China that never matches what they advertise and on top of that horrible customer service.

I ordered from this site. They emailed asking me to confirm my billing address. Threw a ticket and asked for a screenshot of my online banking of the transaction to prove my identity. I sent the billing. Refuse to send the pic of my bank transaction. The next morning my bank account was wiped out. Bank of America contacted me of fraudulent activity. Bought a pair of shoes from this company - Nike running shoes. Bought them here because they were a slightly better deal compared to elsewhere. The shoes arrived in the wrong size. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I ordered a front and rear dashcam. They had great pricing and the product was exactly what I was looking for. I knew it was coming from China so I knew it would take some time. After a little while I submitted a ticket as they gave me a tracking number. Following the tracking number MY product was shipped to ID, I live in FL. They didn't get my billing address wrong and even the shipping address is correct in my profile.
When I contacted them via a ticket you write because they don't have a toll free number. They responded back that it was on the way and gave me a different tracking number. The tracking number they gave me shows it's being prepped for shipment for about a week. I replied several replies and they closed the ticket as "settled." I still don't have my stuff, someone in ID does though and they can't figure out how to expedite. I've requested my money back, but that isn't working. Simply put: DO NOT SHOP WITH: LIGHTINTHEBOX.COM. I can submit the links for my receipt and tickets where being a customer doesn't matter.

I ordered two pair of shoes for our wedding on July 20, 2016. Says, "Shipped July 28, 2016." I received an email. It was placed with a tracking number. I tracked my package that arrived in New York on Aug. 5, 2016. I checked daily with no progress. Finally I called the USPS and they said it is in Customs. They gave me Customs phone number that is always busy and their website which does not help me. LightIntheBox will not reply. I just ordered another pair of shoes from the USA which is due to arrive on Aug. 20th. USPS says it can take up to 45 days for my shoes to come out of Customs IF they release it. My next issue is trying to get my money back from LightInTheBox which is for $115.68. Lesson learned: Do not order from out of the country unless you are sure you can contact the company and it has good ratings which this company doesn't.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Their low prices are attractive, but the amount you save on stuff they send you that you can actually use/wear vs the amount you'll lose on low-grade quality dysfunctional pieces will have an end result in having paid full price for the things you can keep and a big pile of garbage you'd be ashamed to give to the homeless. They sent me multiple items nowhere close to matching the picture on their website. Material was complete garbage and the pretty a-line dress with a scalloped neckline looked like a garbage bag made of incredibly itchy material. Customer service is wretched. They close your complaint tickets before they're resolved, feign niceness and have you wait the "6-10 weeks" for your "full refund" once you've shipped back your item only to find that refund isn't even close to the amount you were owed and they've closed your ticket and will no longer respond to you.
Refund owed: $47.98. Refund received: $15.98. Total still owed: $32. I did everything to try and get my money back. I sent multiple complaints, referenced past ticket numbers, what was said, my credit card numbers that received the only partial refunds for what they told me I would receive full refunds on. I was given a complete runaround: generic replies that answered none of my questions.
After filing several complaints they told me the rest of the refund was credited to my LightInTheBox account. I checked. There was nothing. When I told them, this is what I got: "Dear Customer. We can not give you information about other orders. We thank you for your understanding in this matter. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions. Sincerely, Mini/LightInTheBox Customer Service." These customer representatives are a joke, liars, and thieves. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Updated on 8/16/2016: This is an update on my complaint about not receiving full refunds on defective/wrong items returned to the company. After my review was seen on ** I was contacted by a customer service representative. The long and short: Sketchy as it gets. They offered to pay me off to delete my negative review on ** for their website. When I told them there was no option to delete, they told me once the review was updated to a positive review they would give me the rest of my refund and additional money on top of that for the hassle. When I told them I would only update my review once the matter was resolved they stopped replying. Do not trust this site. Do not trust their good reviews. Do not shop with them. So here I am again to make sure you know just what kind of company you're getting in bed with if you choose to shop with them.

Got the item and the power supply does not work. Had all the items tested at a professional shop. I sent them an email regarding the issue and I received a reply from LightInTheBox.com telling me how to track my shipment. Seems that they don't read emails. Part of the deal was a set of 56 inks that they still have not shipped out. No ETA. Also no response from them when asked about it. I also paid for the extra insurance that they claim will allow them to send out an immediate replacement should there be any issues. Great, but they won't even acknowledge that I am having issues with the product!!!
I was about to order a piercing kit from them but that is out of the question now, considering the severe lack of customer service I am getting so far. How insulting that they won't even read the email that came through to them in their "return and replace" section of their website. I would love to hear from them as to why I should ever consider doing business with them again.
Update. I put in a claim through PayPal and suddenly they closed all my open tickets with them. I then escalated the claim with PayPal and suddenly they contacted me. Still no resolution and not actually reading my concerns. I am getting nowhere with them. Never Again.

First of all I received the small electronics part that I had order on March 18 as stated. That was not the problem. I am 99.99% sure that my credit card information was stolen and used from within their company. The reasoning is as follows. In January of this year (2016) I received a new MasterCard with a brand new number to replace an old one. This card was only used for a few regular local transactions via the store terminals with the exception of 1 online purchase made with Light In The Box. I verified this to make sure that my memory was not slipping and my credit card statements confirmed that this card was only used for 1 online purchase as previously stated.
On my current statement for this card it showed 2 online transactions on July 14 with a company that I did not know of and did not do business with. After contacting both my credit card company and the business I found that my card number, full name, security number, mailing address and phone number were all entered correctly at this business site to pay subscription fees for accounts listed as belonging to two unknown individuals by the names of Yanzhen and Qingfu.
No one else has access to this card other than myself and the information needed is only given when making online purchases. Since there was only one online purchase made with this card at Light In The Box there was no other avenue for these fraudsters to have harvested all the needed information any place other than from them. I do not know if this happened due to it being an inherently bad company or if it is a reasonably good company with bad employees and a substandard security system, but in the end it does not really matter. Their company cannot be trusted with your credit card information. After searching the internet I have found that there was an incredibly long list of people with the same general complaint as I, but theirs were strong suspicions as to the source of the fraud, whereas in my case it is near impossible to say that it could have happened any other way. Buyer definitely do beware.
In closing, I tried contacting the company but their site only seems to deal with customer issues about existing orders. I am not pursuing any legal course since the amount is too small and I know I would be wasting my time, also I am also being reimbursed for these charges so I am not out any money. I do believe that if a person is not willing to at least make a small stand against such things by at least letting others know, then then they have absolutely no right to complain about such things happening.

With my permission, I allowed my 12 year old daughter to order some Nike shoes from this website. I read the reviews first. Some people were happy with results; some were not. We rolled the dice. Bad gamble. Painful loss. She spent her own money and these were supposed to be her school shoes. The shoes came in and they are the wrong size. She ordered a US 11 and they sent her a US 9.5. When you "open a ticket," you tell them what went wrong and they send you a canned message with 2 options. "We are sorry about the inconvenience this may have caused." Really? Yes, it is inconvenient to have paid $63 for shoes that are way too small with birthday money she received from family.
You then get 2 options: 1. Return the item and they will refund you the original price. Therefore, you are out your shipping on the initial end and the amount it will cost me to mail the shoes back which is about $20. So, I am already in the negative almost $30 on a $63 dollar pair of shoes. The second option is keep the shoes and they will credit me $10. Wow, how kind of you. We get $10 and get to keep a pair of shoes that don't fit. That's fantastic. I am so angry. I should have known better but I thought we might come out on the positive end of things.
I, like others do not understand how you can order something from a company, get the wrong item and then they tell you that you have to lose money. Not one time have they offered to send the correct size or pair of shoes. This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. If you order from here, you will lose out in some way. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to see if I have any recourse from here. If I could give a negative star rating, I would.

I purchased swimwear and kaftans from lightinthebox in June. My parcel was due to arrive in 10 days. I left to go on holiday 7th July, parcel still not arrived. July 11th parcel arrived with custom tax attached. My daughter refused to pay it as I had already gone away. They are now telling me I can only have a 50% refund of my money as it was refused because I had gone away. I am still waiting for a reply now and it is the 22nd of July. How is a company allowed to do this, anyone know?

I received the painting I ordered (after having to pay additional customs tax and it being sent using the wrong postal service - I paid for expedited - it was sent by snail mail). When the item was received the painting was a completely different colour to the one advertised (I had ensured I queried the colour palette before placing my order) and the item was faulty, with the paint and gold leaf flaking away. I informed LightInTheBox and they told me to return the item by the most 'economical method', which I did. They are now refusing to refund the product and therefore I am taking this matter further. DO NOT USE THIS SITE! If you have a complaint the only method of contact is email - which they ignore and repeat the same statements. Terrible, terrible service!

I ordered an age 7 flower girl dress for my granddaughter which was lovely but grossly oversized as the child is just an average 7 year old. I ordered an age 6 expecting to be able to return the larger one as the return policy gives you 30 days but however when I contacted this company they said it had been custom made and was unreturnable. Never at any time did I give them any measurements. I then cancelled the age 6 bearing in mind it was only ordered the previous day but £25.00 was deducted from my refund admin/shipping charges. So, they don't have a toll free number so I had to wait 24 hours (or longer) between each response, that never answered all my questions. One item I ordered was actually out of stock and cancelled, and I was refunded in store credit instead of it going back onto my card. When I asked about free shipping as I had already paid for shipping with my initial order, they continuously ignored the question. They kept showing a picture of a different item I ordered as to what was being cancelled leading me to think I needed to substitute that until I got a shipment confirmation for that item. Oh and the item that was cancelled was still being shown when I searched, but at a higher price. I guess they don't have a phone number because they realize how crappy they are and wouldn't be able to defend their company when out on the spot. So I haven't even received my items yet, and I will already never shop with this company again.

As a dressmaker I am used to taking measurements and ordered a dress to my granddaughter's size. This was supposedly a tailor made dress but what came was half an inch smaller on chest and waist (a standard age 10) when I ordered larger. I keep being told that I took wrong measurements in spite of sending a photo showing 2 tape measures clearly indicating I did not get what I ordered. Also the dress was advertised as £50 but with all the additional costs it came to over £80. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Never again!!

I received a 3DS touch pad screen! Again, this is NOT AN LCD SCREEN! And I was informed by customer service that they would not send the correct product as a replacement; a small credit is all they gave back. I had a perfectly good experience with LightInTheBox.com. A few months ago I came upon this site looking for makeup brush sets. I was very surprised to see that all of the sets were very cheap. I finally found one that I was happy with and I decided to buy them and see what would happen. The only thing that did upset me about this website was that the package came way later than it said it would. Understandable though. When I received my brushes I checked and searched for a problem with them but they are everything I wanted. I use them everyday and they work great!

Today is 28 May, 2016. I placed an order for fairy lights $12.04, on 23 April, 2016 @ 12:05 pm, they received payment on 23 April, 2016 @12:05 pm thru PayPal. They shipped my package April 26, 2016, 7:38 pm. I guess I was fortunate enough to get a tracking number, however get this. The package has been at the Netherlands Amsterdam International Processing Center since they mailed it. It left the processing center on May 26, 2016 ( 2 days ago), headed to the US. WOW, they gave me a shipping time of 10 to 18 business days, (REALLY).
Now I have shopped on the internet a gazillion times, ordered $2,000 worth of wedding invitations from India, and by the way, they were gorgeous!!! All kinds of bags, shoes, electronic cases from China, etc. And I must say that this $12.04 has been my worst nightmare. I will post again if I ever receive the lights, but one thing I will not do is order from this bootleg site again. Thank goodness it is only $12.04.

Having ordered a pair of shoes the confirmation returned was constantly wrong for size and colour. My many protests simply led to multiple erroneous confirmations. One pair of shoes in correct size and colour received, two others in wrong colour/size are now indicated as being shipped!! My bank account already debited!! The sheer hide and seek game put upfront by the vendor is totally unacceptable. A few weeks ago they had confirmed that they had understood and corrected my problem!!! It is of course their problem, again hiding behind cheerful unrelevant return messages when a problem is reported by a customer, is not acceptable.

In April 2016, I using the LightInTheBox website for provide me the pendant ceiling light for my new home. On the site, when you choose the product, it show you the estimate delivery time - some is one day, some are longer. Therefore, I assumed that the product would come from local or EU warehouse. On the other hand, there aren't any information about the customs duty tax on the site. Therefore, I have been charged £406.80 which I complained to the site. Customer service tried to find a solution to the situation for the customs tax that I did not aware of. I find that adding the customs tax to the price, I was better off get them from UK store.
However, the site customer service gave me 2 option to help out with this matter: 1. rewards credit in full amount valid for 3 months, 2. half of customs tax refund to my account. Yes of course, I choose option 1 but again the site withheld the important information again that ignored to used this reward credit, you need to spend twice amount of the reward credit! Why can't you sincerely explain the condition of the reward credit so people can made decision? I have complained again and would like to convert to second option, take half of the money. So no need to deal with this company ever again. Still wait for reply.

I order 120 tin hearts for my wedding and they sent me back the name of my husband totally wrong and most of they hearts ruined. I try to contact the company but they tell me that it was my mistake!! I pay 152 euros and not a sorry back. Never again from LightInTheBox. They should call DarkInTheBox, because you don't know what is going to happen with your order!

Have ordered 2 taps costing over 100 US each plus paid import taxes 90 US to DHL. One of the two taps was completely broken and not in function - water keeps running - and plumber classified product as Chinese cheap **. Complained and sent package back to LITB RMA Transfer in Poland and costed an additional 20 US. Filing today FBI internet fraud and complaint to Swedish police for internet international fraud. This scam company should stop being in business.

In error I bashed this online company yesterday. The prom dress shipped to me was packaged inside out. I did not discover this until after I had written the complaint. Yes, I feel so foolish! Just received what was supposed to have been my daughter's prom dress. The website describes the dress as satin available in many colors (we wanted purple), embellished at the waist with matching sequins and built-in pockets. None of this turned out to be true! The material was a cheap purple polyester, no sequins, and no pockets. While they say they offer returns, I am sure I will be out over $100. Please don't ever buy anything from LightInTheBox!

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering from this company. I needed white shoes and found just what I was looking for. The description read "white." The shoes came and they were cream or almond, not what I wanted at all. I had to pay for shipping both ways and I'm out about $18 with nothing but disappointment and frustration to show for it. I will NEVER buy from them again!

Please avoid buying from them. This company is a cheat and don't deliver products as promised and when complained they said return product and you have to pay for shipping. In fact, when I mailed them images of product delivered and product advertised they said it's same. Please check the images below to see what kind of crooks this people are. I think even customer service is based out of China. Very unprofessional and unethical people to work with. AVOID BUYING FROM THEM AT ALL COST.

I placed an order for buying dresses. I paid with my husband's PayPal. They took the money immediately. After a week they asked more infos. ID number and photo etc. My husband gave it to them. After three more days they came again asking for all the infos of his credit card!!! They had already the money, the ID and his photo and at the end they wanted his credit card number, last three digits at the back etc. etc. Of course we cancelled the order. I should take on consideration the half star on six that they have and not to waste my time with them. Totally disappointed!!

I placed and order for a $24 dollar dress on Sunday April 10th and received on April 26. This is with paying of 3-4 day shipping of $23. The expedited shipping is in place once the produce is made, you will receive in 3-4 days after that. NOT 3-4 days after your order is place. Please understand that, if you in a rush to have don't bother paying for the expedited shipping, NO DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
After receiving the dress, I found that this is NOT the same dress online. This company is so unethical, they actually put this dress they sent on my order page. I wish I can find another word to describe the mess I have sitting here in my lap. I would have never ordered what they sent me. I am tall, this dress is short. It oversized and made out of paper, so thin. The description states it a maxi, NO it's a mini. The dress is so horribly made. I am not taking the time to return, the shipping cost more than the dress. This company does not have phone number for you to call and communicate these problems. You will have to email them and they will email you back 24 hours later. This is just the worst experience, I don't wish this on anyone. So sad and mad I am.

I bought some shoes in the website even if the delivery date was in 45 days. After 45 days, I got a call from the custom saying that I had to pay 45 euros if I wanted to have the package delivered. I wrote the company to tell them that I wanted to deliver the product but then, they told me I had to pay the expenses to deliver them back. There was nothing about the fact that they will charge extra taxes or the delivery was not free when I bought the product. Be aware because depending what you buy it could be really expensive.

Was very excited to receive my new purchase for my newly renovated bathroom (ceramic potted white Orchard) when it finally turned up after 41 days!!! It was in a squished cardboard box with limited protection. When I opened it, it was hideous - looked nothing like what was advertised on the site. The pot was cracked, one of the flowers had a hole burnt through it and it was falling apart. Looked like something from a $2 shop. Was devastated even more when I had just paid $25 for this horrible rip of item. There is no really contact them about an issue and when I previously had they never replied. I just want other consumers to know about this site and not to purchase items from them. I also would like a refund.

Shocking company. After 18 days of ordering I received a broken light. If you have a problem you can't phone them and their staff are rude. Trying to get your money back is harder work than a 12 hour no stop workout in the gym. So much stress and inconvenience they have caused. I will never order from them again. Nor will I ever recommend. They need a shape training session in customer service.

I ordered 2- US size 10 wedding dresses. I did not submit my specific measurements, just ordered a size 10 (I usually wear size 8-10). The dresses are at least two sizes too small. I asked for a return authorization, only to find out they are "custom" dresses. I was told they make the dress after the order is received, therefore they are "custom made". Buyer beware. This company has very bad reviews for their return policy. This was not clearly stated during the ordering process.

The tracking numbers are all false. They reply and say "It is so unusual for anything to go missing." Thousands on the net will disagrees. They said "We have tracked your goods and it has been a delay by the carriers." Total lies. Then they say "Goods have gone missing and we will resend by fast post." Still nothing since January. They send the same reply to me and three friend. It is all some form of 'skullduggery' with this company. They either 'find' the goods or don't, then the presence of resending is beyond a joke and fake tracking numbers is not on. Cheap is very expensive for NO GOODS!

Placed an order for wall stickers February 8 with 10-20 business day shipping. Turns out it took 3 weeks just for them to actually prepare the shipment so my wait time started Feb 29 for the actual package. Well over 20 business days later, package is still not here. Customer service wouldn't look into it until it was actually late. I did get the refund however still want the item. They refused to cover expedited shipping or make this quicker in any way for me. No customer service. No consumer care. Never again.

I placed my order on 2/22. According to them, they shipped my order after 2 weeks and today is 3/31 and I still have not received my order. There is no way to contact customer service, and the only way I figured out how was to send a message through Return/Replace. The only thing they did was to replied using one of their generic emails, with a link to the shipping company. I tried to follow the link, which goes nowhere. They charged me $20 for 4 very light blouses, which could have been shipped in an envelope for a much less cost!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

So I bought this projector and they told me it's going to take 3-5 days of delivery but it's already been 2 weeks already and it didn't arrive. I email them through the website and they send me like some msg. in Dutch. I translate it and it says there was a mistake on the delivery and it's going take them a month to fix the problem. Like what the hell. I tried to track the package and it says I cannot track it. Please if someone know how can I deal with this problem please let me know. I spend 53 euro for this and it's kinda lot of money for a student like me with a limited budget.

Ordered 6th March, delivery 16-26th March. Numerous emails, different couriers, different tracking numbers. Links to rearrange delivery doesn't work. Tracking numbers don't exist. No note through door. No way to get in touch with LightInTheBox. Can anyone help this confused, stressed bride to be.

I also regret not researching this before. I bought a nice hat not so cheap by the way. Paid £22 and also another £12 for a 3-4 day delivery. Arrived fairly quickly - within a week. Product as per picture, however I was absolutely shocked the way it was packed. They squeezed it into a small box, so small that the hat arrived completely deformed, decorations on the hat pressed down and lost the shape too. It was meant to be a nice present, however understand the circumstances I cannot keep it because item arrived damaged. Although it says 30 day returns accepted, however I cannot find any way to contact them.
Left negative review which has been deleted next day. Oh, yes and because item was shipped to the UK on top I was charged by DHL £16.00 duty and VAT tax. By the way that's another topic for me to investigate. According my calculations bill should not exceed £8.00, total weight 212g. But I will handle DHL. I haven't lost faith in them yet. Anyway my total cost for the hat below stands at £50.60. Not cheap at all. Help please!

I ordered 3 shirts in October 2015 & they arrived late so I returned them in December 2015. I received an email saying that they received them a few weeks later. I waited patiently for a refund that never came!!! There is no customer service (which shows you they are not a legit company) phone number so I wrote another ticket on March 22, 2016. I got a reply that they only received 1 shirt & refunded me for it... LIE!!! I sent all 3 & they never refunded ANYTHING!! This is what I get for not buying USA!!

I am writing this review today because I ordered from this company online, and after the fact saw all the negative reviews and became very worried. I immediately contacted the company via email and obtained a response within 24 hours. I responded to this professional and nice response and again received another thank you response to that within 24 hours. So Great Job on Customer Service and being available for questions in a timely matter. Now the Products - Was extremely concerned about the type of quality the items were going to be - When I received the package - ON TIME - I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with everything we purchased and it could not have been any better.
I bought a Beautiful Flower Girl Dress - Size 7 - which if you use the sizing charge fits her Perfectly. I order a Tiara with Pearls and a pearl bracelet - Paid under $60 for the entire order that included shipping... YOU CAN NOT BEAT THAT AT ALL... Best part was the quality was great, NOT CHEAP. I would certainly order from this site again.

This site owner advertised a product with a brand I like on its website, so I ordered it. But the product I received is with different brand and different design (not as its advertised image on site). I tried so many times trying to contact this seller but I never get any response, and I had to file a credit card dispute. I finally contacted the authentic brand name owner in USA and was told that LightInTheBox.com is infringing other people's trademarked brand and copyrighted images. LightInThebox.com simply stole other people's brand name, images, copy, and use it to advertise its own similar product on LightInTheBox.com. This is a theft crime. Stay away from this site.

I had a very disappointing experience with LightInTheBox. I placed 2 orders with 4 pairs of shoes and some dresses. After several weeks I received the shoes and only 1 out of the 4 were exactly as shown on the site and the rest were not; the Nike athletic shoes I ordered were not only the wrong size, wrong style, wrong color but one of the shoes had a stain (as if worn?). I started the process to return the Nike specifically but unlike the instructional screenshots shown on their websites, there is no place to initiate the return nor any discernible way to reach customer service. The site sends you back to your order and there is no rerun button there.
I searched the site for 30 minutes and then Googled for customer service and after reading all the terrible reviews about not being able to return and non-existent customer service, I decided to take the loss as a lesson learned and write a review as my penance for not researching before placing the order. A few weeks later the 1st order arrived (I forgot I had placed the order because it was over a month) and the dresses were cheap and cheaply made and appeared very different from the photos.
When it comes to overseas vendors always take a few minutes to make sure there are good reviews on the web; unfortunately I didn't and paid the price of $140. I guess I've gotten used to trusting sites but needed a reminder to question any new website - it only takes a few moments. It's ok though I donated the shoes and dresses so the materials were not wasted. :) Thanks for reading, happy shopping and have a great day!

All that I have gotten from this LightInTheBox online company is an email confirmation that my remittance of $43.56 has been deposited and the dancing shoes that I ordered have been 'shipped' with no way to actually track their progress. The website gives the appearance of representing a professional company. I wish that I had done a quick check of their consumer rating before ordering. From reading all these other complaints, it seems we have all been duped. Like all the others, I discovered that there is no way to contact this company. I sent an email reply to the remittance email but I don't expect to get a reply.

I ordered my product 12 business days ago and still haven't received it! I tried contacting them but there's NO customer service number posted. It's really hard to get any help. The only way to contact them is to write a 'ticket' which they respond to in 24 hours. Once they reply, they're not very helpful. They just copy/paste a canned response. I'm so frustrated. At this point, I don't even need the product since I have bought shoes for a wedding I had to attend. They said I could return the product but they won't return the shipping costs even though the product said 3-4 business days because I paid for expedited shipping. What they don't tell you when you're ordering is that there's a separate processing time on top of the shipping time.

Is your reputation really worth less than $26, which is the amount you withdrew from my bank account? I waited three months, as you requested, and have received nothing but pathetic excuses from your customer service idiots. All I wanted was a stinking flashlight at a good price. You must be sitting back laughing at all the stupid Americans you're ripping off! I am a home inspector and I receive calls every day from new inspectors asking me where to buy their inspection flashlights, because of my online blogs. Just think of the hundreds of prospective inspectors you could have screwed had you only satisfied me and my orders!
I will make it one of my personal projects to inform everyone I can, through daily online blogs, inspector schools, and any internet review site available, what a total piece of crap your company and your products are. I will not rest until I am assured that your company has lost at least one thousand times the amount of money you stole from me.
