Everything was easy. I get reports about my ordered items, when they packed, when they send etc. Everything came earlier and in good shape. I pay the money with credit card, no problem with this either.

Hello. I want to write a positive review about the store LightInTheBox. I order from them often, recently ordered the phone LeEco Le 2 X526. Not only was the phone cheap, it’s also with great features. In general, having paid the order, I received it in 2.5 weeks. The phone turned out to be working and still pleases me. The store has very good technical support, sociable and cute. The best store of the best!

A good store, I occasionally place orders there, not always fast delivery, but occasionally there are very interesting sales, for which I usually buy. I find out about the sales in the telegram of the ChinaGoodBuy channel (**). Thank you to the store for the discounts! At the last sale I bought a set of sensors Xiaomi. To this day, I have not seen prices cheaper than I bought at a sale. Of course, now the price in the store is higher than everywhere else, but on sales there are very good prices!

I bought a couple of phones in this online store, everything is generally good. Sent on time, Belgium Post. To the border of Russia is tracked poorly, but in general, ok. Well packaged and intact. Those support is very weak, late answers and answers mostly robot. In general, I can recommend this store.

Horrible customer service. I’m being trying to returned three pair of shoes I bought from them that I didn’t even open because was not the style I was looking for and after 7 messages (that’s the only way of contact) they said they will return only 70% because of restocking. I agreed just to finally get some of my money back. Unbelievable...I sent package with all instructions followed by them and now they are saying they only got one pair even that I have proof of sending package to them by UPS... I will never buy from them again!

Worst company ever! Waited over three weeks past when they said that it would be delivered and then decided to cancel. Now they are telling me that it may take up to 45 days for my refund. No contact phone number either.

I see a common thread with my experience with this company and those of 683 others who have reviewed. No email confirmation of order. Weeks in, a message that one of 2 wetsuits ordered is not available and instructions to go to "my orders" to get part of my money refunded or use as a credit on other merchandise. My orders has no record of the purchase. Partial package arrives with one useless wetsuit size s/m when I had ordered XL. I am size L and ordered XL to be sure, carefully consulting their size chart. No paperwork or identifying order numbers in the package.
At least 10 back and forth tickets with "customer service" liars who do not answer my repeated questions such as "I paid you an insurance fee against possible customs charges and had to pay $37.49 for customs to FedEx. Where is my refund?" They keep referring me to the useless "my orders" page which they have purposely made blank and insisting they need an order number, which any reputable company would have provided. Customer "service" insists they can not help me without that number, which they obviously have, since I got this useless package! Out $255.00.

Bought two dresses and added extra payment for quick shipping and some kind of insurance as I knew that it looks quite unsafe... Turned out to be even worse. The first dress was such poor quality that even after fixing with the sewer it still is transparent and just don't lie on the body. The second did not turn up on time so I couldn't wear it for the occasion, tried contacting the company and they just blocked my messages. The dress was just not made to wear as well. PLEASE INVEST YOUR MONEY IN ANY OTHER SHOPS, BUT THIS ONE.

I live in the United Kingdom. Bought a very expensive wig from them for ie £67.00. I ordered dark brown. They sent me out blonde! I contacted them to say it was my very 1st order with them and they couldn't get it right even though the wig is available in about 8 colours? So... Forget it. I'll send it back and have a refund in full...
They replied saying ok but cost to return was to me and I'd be refunded in full for this postage so... I paid a further £15.80p to send it back recorded, tracked, etc. They told me send back to Poland address which I've since done, now they have apparently refunded me for the wig of £62.00? Even though I have paid them £67.00? Now for the postage costs to me for their mistake not mine! They now say they can't refund me that as it goes over on my card what I'd paid in the 1st place for them for this wig? And they can't refund me more or over to my card what I'd paid in the 1st place for the wig? And to take it as a credit into their site so that I'll be forced to order again which I don't want to do. They're a joke! Nightmare in fact so feel very ripped off by them. Now I'm still awaiting my refund also.

I’m starting to frown upon LightInTheBox. Customer service won’t get back to me and they constantly ignore my messages. I’ve sent many customer service messages most about trying to change address or just wanting to cancel an order. I have ordered from LightInTheBox before and have received packages, but I have two orders that have went to preparing to processing instead. They took the money then put it as preparing. Then a couple minutes later it’s not. I feel like LightInTheBox is trying to rob me by not getting back to me or respecting my wishes. Hope all can be resolved soon. If not... I’m done.

I ordered a dress for my daughter’s Halloween costume 14 days ago. Selected 5-8 day shipping. The tracking states the package is still in China, and customer service is a joke (I submitted a “ticket” through their website, they replied that we would receive the package by November 4th -not helpful for a Halloween costume- and that this would be the 28th day from when the order was processed. They then stated the ticket was resolved and now there is no alternate way of contacting customer service). Buyer beware - Do not order from this scam operation.

I ordered a Halloween costume from LightInTheBox on September 20th. The order for $101.72 went through to my credit card immediately and I received an email that it was processing and once it’s done “processing” it was being shipped “expedited 5-8 business days.” I still hadn’t’ received it as of October 15th and when I emailed customer service they regretted to inform me that "At this time, your order cannot be completed in accordance to the timeline stated in our website.” Which means that it in no way was going to arrive by Halloween. I canceled the order, spent money on a new costume, and received an email from LightInTheBox that I could request an $8 ‘withdrawal’ for my cancellation, or store credit. My credit card company has been informed of this fraud and will be denying their charge.

As with lots of others saying slow or no delivery, I too have had no delivery and have opened a ticket with Paypal. Order stated delivery 'up to 30 days', then when it didn't arrive, "We cannot process refund until after 90 days, case closed." Just a crappy Chinese operation, don't waste your money.

They canceled my order more than a week after I placed and paid for it. They said they were sorry but the item was out of stock apparently even though they were very quick to charge me. They did not refund shipping costs which are expensive due to this being international. I keep asking for a refund and now they are just sending me nonsense avoiding my asking for a refund. They understand how to charge but not refund, very convenient for them. Nowhere on this website does it list that the products are from China so it is deceiving and it also doesn't tell you that your CC company will charge you foreign fee user for purchasing from them. COMPLETE SCAM.

I ordered a Xiaomi car camera from https://www.lightinthebox.com on 18 Jan 2018. I received the item at the end of February 2018 and found the item was faulty. The https://www.lightinthebox.com accepted my requested for exchanging with a working one on 8 Mar 2018. I returned the faulty item to China with economy local Post as per https://www.lightinthebox.com return instruction requirement. After that, I had waited for over 6 months, they did not send any exchange item to me. I tried to chase them, but they asked me for a post tracking number. I could not get a tracking number because their return instruction requested to use economy post. I had lodged a complaint to consumer office, but the problem could not be solved because this company is in China. I lodged complaint to international online complaint service (FTC) as it was shopping online internationally. But the problem is never been solved until today 11 Oct 2018.

Please do not buy anything from LightInTheBox. I ordered a couple of items worth of 44 Canadian dollars and last month and paid 30 dollars duty on that. When I complained they said, "We will give you 50% refund on the duty amount," but they never did that. The higher price item had a low quality and it was defected, so when I submitted a ticket they said I have to pay the shipping on that. At the end I discarded that. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. IT'S A SCAM.

I ordered a dress. It came in days. The delivery person put it inside my back door so I did not find it for days. There is no paperwork with it. I ordered a 14. There is no label so I don't know what size it is. I can't get a customer service no. I will never order from them again, I just want my money back.

Last year my husband placed an order through LightInTheBox. Packaging was unacceptable, items came squashed, poorly packaging straight from China and poor quality. You need to have a lot of patience to get in touch with them. They make it so hard and confusing to actually return the items that you almost give up. Not to mention that you have to pay to return the items back to China. And it's not cheap. They have conversation boxes with an expiring date so if you are late to reply "ticket box is closed" and you can't get in touch with them. Good luck to anyone who would like to waste their time and money! I have given up!

I ordered two shrugs (#**) on Sept. 13 and they arrived October 4. (I did not know they were coming from China and would take so long.) I normally wear a US women's 16-18, but ordered 22W because of reviews that said it ran small. The picture of the model on their website shows a very loose garment. The opening which goes from the back of your neck, over your clavicle and around to the back is too tight. It is made well enough and wearable but not at all the way the picture showed. There are also no tags on the garment that state the size, material, manufacturer or its origin. I will not be shopping at this company again.

I ordered on Sept 18th a winter coat. I used express service and it came with buttons missing and on the small side. I asked for a return label and it was given and I sent the coat back the next day as they only give you seven days to do so. They have received it and I received an email saying I have a credit! I do not want a credit. I expect my full refund! Ticket number ** has been closed as if they got their merchandise and offered a credit! I just want my money back!!

I purchased 4 full body swimwear diving suits for 99.71, and I received an email stating one of them was out of stock. I was fine with that at first. Then, I was supposed to receive the three suits in 3-5 business days and the order never came. I went on the website to find a phone number to cancel the order and there was no phone number. The only option was to submit a ticket. I have submitted multiple tickets but to no avail. I used the same email address they sent regarding one of the item that was out of stock and I sent them multiple emails and there was no response. One, this company is a total SCAM and 2 it is UNETHICAL. I did not know that this company is in China, and if I knew I wouldn't have made that mistake. That's a complete shame.
This company should not be in business because it is a complete scam. I will keep trying to get my money back because I work hard for it. It is exhausting to keep trying every day but I don't plan to stop until I get my refund. I hope no one else goes through that. I wish I had read the reviews about LIGHTINTHEBOX because I would not have bought anything from them.
Updated on 10/15/2018: I finally received the swim cap, and two diving suits. The other two suits are out of stock and don't know when it ever will be available according to the email they sent. I was promised that account will be refunded for the out of stock items. I have submitted over 10 tickets asking for my refund of $68.73 but they refuse to refund the money. There is this person name Cherish now answering my tickets with a lack of knowledge of what she's supposed to do. She consistently does not answer my questions. She told me to submit a ticket through "exchange/return" which is not the issue. The issue is to refund my money.
When I tried to cancel the entire order, they ignored all the tickets I have submitted. After my review on Consumer Affairs, they quickly sent 3 items. So, I asked her, why would I want to start having another issue with this FAKE SCAM company by trying to return the two suits. I don't need them anymore and they are sitting in the package. I told this Cherish person that my order # is ** hoping she was going to locate my information and refund me but to avail.
They are SCAM. I can plead with anyone who's willing to listen to stay away from them. You don't want to go through this. They have a flawed system of communication. They make it extremely difficult to communicate with them. They don't have a phone number to talk with a person. They don't accept emails, and they have no other form of communication like "chat." They don't honor their words. They don't accept cancellation, or give refunds even when it's their own fault. At this point, I know I can't lose my money so I'm trying to figure out my options.

Placed an order Aug 1, 2018 and paid extra for 5-9 business day delivery. It is Sept 26 and no delivery. After many contacts they refuse to issue a refund even though they stated in an email they would issue a refund if my order wasn't received by Sep 17, 2018. Avoid this company as they do not stand behind their word.

I preordered an Xiaomi M365 Scooter and waited till it should be in stock. After 4 days when it was listed to be back in stock and ready to ship, I got a message, that it is sold out. We agreed on canceling the order and sending back my money, but they did not send back the money! Hope now, PayPal helps me get back my money.

I love, love, love my flashing light tennis shoes. I couldn’t be happier. Well, yes I could, if I had TWO pair of these shoes! I waited 6 weeks for them and it was worth the wait. People are getting concerned about their orders too early. YOUR ORDER IS COMING FROM CHINA! WAIT PATIENTLY. Don’t go pushing buttons and canceling too early. It took about two weeks for a tracking number to show up. It was a China DHL tracking number. In the first few weeks your order is still in China. Be Patient!
After you receive your tracking number you can find your order IN CHINA and track it from there. It takes a couple weeks for tracking number. Last week, I ordered a toy for my boy as Birthday gift. I was informed the order was shipped but did not know when to receive it. I wondered if I would receive it in time. So I contacted Customer Service department from LightInTheBox. They are very helpful: provide with tracking link and estimated delivery date. Then I calmed down and planned to wait a little longer. They also said would ask the shipping courier to prioritize the delivery. To my surprise, the package arrived yesterday. It's very cute and my boy loves it so much. What can I say? Ordered a Xiaomi Mi A2. Chose Europe Express-iPEGTOP shipping method and it's suppose to be custom free and fast as they mention 5-8 shipping days. And a max of 17 days. The carrier (Deutsche post) received information at the 09-08-2018. The package is still in transit. I hope that I will receive it in a couple of days. I opened ticket and the only thing they say is patience. Guys honestly, never buy again from Lightinthebox. So unreliable. I have so many orders from Banggood and Gearbest and never had a problem. But with LightInTheBox I understood how amateurs they are.

Buyer beware. I ordered and then found out it would not be delivered in time for my event so canceled. They responded with comments similar to "you should reconsider so we will continue with the order." I canceled again and I received "you should consider what a nice top it is so we will continue the order." I responded again with a cancellation request and AGAIN I received "this is so nice so we will continue please reconsider." I canceled again and they responded late evening on a Friday prior to the weekend while I was unavailable "it is a nice top, we are proceeding with the order and intend to ship unless we hear from you within 24 hours" and they shipped. I contacted them again and said "I don’t want the top, do not ship." They responded with "we have now fixed your complaint the top has been shipped". This has caused me no end of anxiety. Do not deal with this company.

Waited two weeks for delivery of some light bulbs which cost £26 and then the post office withheld the packet until I paid another £12 for import duties, hope they are not broken when I have to travel a10 mile round trip to pick them up. Will never use this company again. Avoid like the plague.

Ordered items away back June 4th 2018. They were all too small. Got in touch with them as how to send them back. It took them weeks to get back in touch but the day they got in touch I was going on holiday so could not send them back till I returned. Cost me £11.60 to send back to Poland as that's where they gave me address for, they have now told me they have received my parcel and told me there was a refund put into my bank on the 16/08/2018. Up until today 27th August there is still nothing in my bank, this Company should not be allowed to trade in the UK as all their goods are coming from Hong Kong.

Bought an eyeshadow palette on June 9 2018. Right the next day an unauthorized Google Play charge of $7.99 appeared in my card even when I used PayPal. PayPal couldn't do anything so I had to call Google and my bank. Google issued a claim a returned my money. As today I had not received the product and they still sending emails with links that do not take you anywhere. Case this pending in Pay Pal. Good thing I didn't spent a lot of money. In June I had to cancel my order due to a mistake which I made. They promised me a full refund in 3-5 working days. A month latter I received half of it and since then I've never been contacted since after several emails to them. It's now August. Ordered 4 pairs of pants at low price. The shipping treatment delay was not respected. They suggest 4 days and now it is 9 days since I send my order and always not shipped. I bought a dress for my mother in XXXL size, purchase confirmation however did not display the size. Item arrived 29 days later and nothing like the dress on the website plus cheapest Poundland tea towel fabric, uneven stitches, ridiculous form, short. I wrote to customer services requesting my money back and their instructions for pre-paid return or that they cover return costs and I have attached photos. They responded with just 2 lines - apologised for inconvenience and said the dress fits description. No returns instructions. This is an obvious fraud, people making money all over the world from one time purchases, they ship imitations and faulty items. I reviewed the item on the website and my review did not appear, just the opposite - the dress still has 100% satisfaction reviews with lots of ridiculous reviews they write themselves. What a mistake, not once BUT twice... Quality of material horrible, The workmanship of cut and fit, horrible. No continuity on reorder to previous product material. Sizes are seldom close to being accurate using their size guide. Never pay for expedited shipping, takes 10-20 days internally to gather product, then ship. Cuts Svc gives boiler plater answers, packages get lost and put it on the consumer to resolve, expedited shipping/insurance or NOT.

I ordered a mermaid tail for my daughter while staying in Denmark. Delivery was advertised 4-6 days. I did not receive any shipping details until 4 days after my order and then learned it came all the way from China and not from Denmark! I immediately contacted customer service and was confirmed a full refund upon return of my rejected parcel. But now of a sudden, they want to charge me double shipment and not a full refund, which I am not going to accept! Misrepresentation advertising - Small model 'speed formula' race car was suppose to be radio controlled, and it was only an inertia one, roll back, it goes forward. Horrible after sales, with just ready answers and nothing to deal with the problem caused by the least. I bought a cell phone that on the website reported 1-2 days for shipping after payment confirmation. I paid with a credit card in which the confirmation is at the same time in any online store of name like Banggood, Geekbuying, GearBest and Aliexpress, but with this store I did not have to open ticket and send payment voucher and even then it took 2 days to confirm the payment. Then it took 1 week (7 days) to send the cell being that they were to have sent in up to 2 days.
Ai immediately after the shipment I am 11 days following the tracking code for track 17 and it appears as a package not found in the system, that is, it seems that the product has not been shipped in the way chosen by the Swiss post. I was able to locate some information on the internet and it shows that the package did not even leave Switzerland, that is, 11 days waiting and nothing comes to Brazil. That is, I do not recommend for the total neglect of the Lightinthebox team and all the hype and or mess they made in my first and last purchase with them.

Do not do business with LightInTheBox. From what I have read and from my own experience this company is a scam. 6/11/18 I placed an order. 6/13/18 my money was taken from my account. As I continue tracking my package is supposedly in transit. After two weeks I inquire with customer service and I am told the order is almost to be delivered. A few days later I receive an email that it has been delivered but I have not received anything as of 7/1/18. When I inquire I again receive the msg that it has been delivered. No help at all from these thieves.

I chose to buy a wig from LightInTheBox in dire circumstances (chemotherapy). I paid for Expedited Express which according to their Shipping FAQ should be done via - . However, the vendor chose to ship my parcel via NLPost! I still waited patiently, but 2 weeks hence there is no trace of my order. I have banged my head against customer service and also escalated it to a supervisor. Only to receive a brilliant reply asking me to check the courier tracking website and a shipping amount refund, wait for it, a rewards voucher to again buy from their website!
Not my money back, so to speak. The package has left the origin country but not yet reached my country (I have checked with our postal dept as well). There is no update on the tracking website after 16th June. The customer service are just not prepared to reply further! Isnt it their responsibility, given the idiotic dispatch via normal post despite paying for premium?

I placed an order for a RC car. The expected shipping day came and went. About 5-6 days after I ordered I emailed customer service to find out what was going on. They told me it was out of stock indefinitely and they were refunding my money. I wish they would have told me that right after I ordered instead of waiting for me to contact them. I placed an order (Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner) in the lightinthebox.com. When I checked out, the webpage said my credit card was declined. So I tried other cards and tried several times. I thought the transaction was not successful. However, I received a notice after from several banks that saying those tryings were all successful. So I ended up paying 5 times for just 1 item. I was so surprised that I didn't even receive any confirmation letter then the company had processed the payment for 5 times with falsely showing "declined". The contact information of this company is hidden and you can never find a proper channel to talk to anyone about your case. I have canceled the orders before any confirmation. There is no reason that they don't refund me! Is there any way to remind people not buying stuffs from this company? They are really good at lies!

I would strongly advise you to avoid this company like the plague. The item took 1 month to arrive although they advised it would take from 6 to 11 working days to get there. The customs taxes were £12 for a £31 order (not their fault on that one but would be good to be warn beforehand), anyhow it makes those items less appealing once you have to add that cost. When I contacted customer service to cancel/return the order, I was told I would be charged double shipping fee. If you pay the custom duty, accept the package and return it, you will have to pay for postage. The refund will be USD 22, which is half of what I paid. So I basically lost £16 for an order that I've not even seen. It will take 4 to 8 weeks to get refunded. I've asked for the complaint procedures but can not get an answer from customer service for this either. I think I've said enough!

As seen in the order, I ordered a black dance shoe. The shipment took a while to come through, it's from China, and they sent the wrong color. I contacted customer service, they asked for the picture, now they said the shoe color match with the barcode, it's the correct item. What kind of logic is that. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I ordered for watch repairing spects on 22nd APRIL 2018 and was intimated will take maximum 40 days from the date of order. As per the company's info those were dispatched on 23rd APRIL. Now they are telling it will take 60 days. I am yet to get both the materials. Even if it comes I cannot receive it since will be away from my residence from 8th of JUNE till 2nd of AUGUST. I presume the company "LightInTheBox" is fraud one and collect money from different country's purchasers. They sent me this atrocious looking dress that was of poor construction and in bright red lace with burgundy accents! It clashes and not even close to the color that I ordered. It looked completely different from the picture. Good luck trying to find out how to do a return! When you click on refunds and returns, it says the page is no longer available. I viewed two shirt styles at LightInTheBox.com in February 2018. I place an order for 3 shirts. I received 3 shirts 30 days later in March 2018. The shirts were extremely too small. One day after receiving the order, I requested and received permission to return the shirts for a larger size. I returned the shirts to an address in the United States. LightInTheBox notified me via email that my return order had been received. Shortly afterwards, I was notified that my new order had been shipped from LightInTheBox.
I received the order in April 2018, but the packaged contained only one shirt. I awaited an email or package deliver of the other two shirts. I did not receive an email or package. On May 4, 2018 I contacted LightInTheBox via way of "my ticket" via its website. This is the only way to contact customer service. One has to choose between return or exchange on my ticket, which can be confusing if one has not received an order. On May 5, LightInTheBox responded to my request. I received excuses like, "you waited too late in notifying us that you had a problem with the order, it's not our fault you did not receive the package" etc.
After many messages to customer service, I was told that I had an open ticket. An open ticket should mean that the order had not been filled; therefore it was not shipped to me and I could not have received said package. And I attempted to explain that I did not wish to make a return or an exchange due to I had not received the order. On May 14, 2018 I contacted management via their web system and was told the incident would be investigated. It's May 27, 2018 and I have received no information on my order. Finally, I have given up on receiving my order or a refund.

I ordered the product 4 weeks and 3 days ahead of needing it and selected expedited postal (extra $) on purpose. The tracking showed it stalled. No help from LightInTheBox. It came 2 days late for my daughter's special occasion. I have messaged them numerous times over 20 days. They reply, but it's as if they never read my responses. Terrible service. The sandals were pricey, but nice. Not worth it. I will never order from them again. I wish I had come to this website first and seen the terrible reviews.

I recently ordered a standard-sized figure skating dress for my granddaughter. I ordered a "Large." Was too big. Followed their rules & submitted "ticket" requesting return & full refund. Dress never worn, & tags still on. Was shocked when company response was "No." Company "claiming" this dress was "custom ordered," and "Made to Order Logo" is supposedly on product page. How can a dress be "custom ordered" when measurements were never provided?
I sent Light in Box "screenshot" of product page which clearly shows standard ordering sizes of XS-XL, and NO "made to order" logo on the page! Since I sent product page photo & again requested full refund, I've heard NOTHING from this company. I believe this is a "standard practice" scam this company pulls to get them out of having to give refunds... They just falsely claim the item you purchased is "custom" and therefore, can't be returned. Avoid this business and don't get scammed like I did. Good luck.

I ordered this dress on May 8th for an event June 4th. I gave them my measurements and it said 7 to 9 days to process and I paid $20 for expedited 3 - 5 shipping. There was a wrong measurement that was fixed by May 12th. They gave no updates and the order still said pending as of May 16 so I sent a message complaint to customer service. We have gone back and forth. I got a supervisor involved that said it would ship no later than May 26th. Now they sent an email that said it will ship around the 29th. So now I need to go find another dress for my event because it will not arrive in time. Their solution was a $10 off my next order coupon. I don't think so. I won't order from them again!

Then after 20 days they canceled the shipment and said that I didn't receive it so it was returned and now they will deduct the shipping cost both ways from me. I cannot recommend LightInTheBox. I recently placed an order for an item that was $8.00. I had ordered something five years ago and in the system they had an old address. I changed the address in the system before placing the order. When I received the order confirmation, they had not changed the address. I then cancelled the order, went back in to change my address again, confirmed that the first order was cancelled and placed the order again with the correct shipping address. LITB did not cancel my first order and subsequently sent both.
I understand that things can go wrong. I tried to contact the company to straighten out the problem; however, there was no phone number to call that I could see. The options for emailing were limited by a drop-down menu. None of the options in the drop-down menu were about my issue. Therefore, I had to select one as there was no other option to get through to the company.
The responses I received ignored the content of my message and instead responded to the issue that was listed in the drop-down menu. Presumably there are automated responses that are sent out depending on what is selected from that menu. Not good service. When I placed the order the second time I selected a different shipping option which was 15.00 less. The order from LightInTheBox for an item that was $8.02 was now going to cost me $30.02. I get it. If you want it faster, you need to pay the shipping cost. But once they realized I had ordered the item twice, instead of cancelling my first order with the higher shipping cost, they cancelled the second order with the lower shipping cost (total order cost $13 something as opposed to 30.02). Even though they were sending me emails about the situation, at no time was there an attempt made to clarify with me which order I intended to place.
They did send me the number to call DHL to provide my correct address. When I did, I was informed that I would have to pay an additional fee for duty and taxes of 23.02. My 8.02 item is now costing me $53.04 and a whole lot of time and grief. I understand that when ordering from overseas, there will be duty and taxes. However, it was not made evident where the order would be coming from at anytime, nor was there any information or warning that there might be additional duty or an estimate of what those extra charges might be.
Be warned when dealing with these knock down operations with the rock bottom prices. It may not be at all what you think. I can't recommend LightInTheBox because they are, at the very least, misleading, possibly intentionally so. Everyone wants to make a buck. I get that. But honesty and fairness go a long way towards repeat customers.

I suggest you be very careful when deciding to deal with LightInTheBox. I ordered from them some dresses according to sizes worn in America. Of course, after a long, long time I received the dresses and they were all very small on me. True, they were cheap, but the materials they were made of were also very cheap. I tried to control my disappointment and politely emailed to them to send me a return slip because I didn't want to pay for their return. I send them many emails and every time I did, I got back a message "problem solved." I even had problems donating those dresses to thrift shops because the sizes were not fit for American people. For all time I made 20 orders, for all I paid for the insurance. I did not receive 6 orders committed in January. In March I tried to contact support, I was asked to wait a little longer. I contacted later, again asked to wait two weeks. As a result, I wrote them on April 13, almost 3 months after the orders I made, the same answer. The store does not return money, technical support is simply missing, as the problem does not resolve. The amount for 6 not received orders is almost 700 dollars.

I am located in Brazil right now. Last week I´ve bought 2 smartphones to send as a gift for a friend in USA. For my disappointment they sent the phones to my Brazilian address. I told them if they didn´t change the shipping address I would cancel my order. They said It was not able to change address to a different country. So, on Apr. 22nd I´ve decided to cancel the order. We ordered a few wall paintings from them. Now, after about one month, it is clear that they have no intention to deliver. We were promised 5-7 days delivery using expedited service. When package failed to arrive, we were given lengthy explanations about storms in China which normally are causing "really huge delays", and were reassured to "keep waiting" and not to be worried. By now: Our package have disappeared and cannot be tracked anymore. And - they simple stopped replying to our emails. We are very sorry to get involved with this "company" in the first place and will never buy from them again. They just stole our money!
Updated on 05/06/2018: Well, it is May 6th already. Paintings have not been received. Our demands to cancel the order remained unaddressed. We received a notice that it has been shipped, two days ago with UPS. Not true. A label has been created a few days ago. Package has not shipped. I tried to use the "complain to a supervisor" link and got an autoreply that my "rating" does not allow me to address the supervisor. And of course, my previous inquiries (tickets) have been closed. Only my package was not sent. I have never met such horrible service. As mentioned in my previous message - NEVER APPROACH THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE A SCAM!

I ordered 2 shrugs which were delayed in shipping as many others have complained on this site. Also I followed the instruction to measure myself and I ordered the size accordingly. When they arrived they were almost childlike sizes and made shabbily. I contacted the company for a return label and I was told they are “custom made” which is NOT included in the description at all. BUYER BEWARE! I so wish I would've checked this site out before I purchased anything.

Very bad experience with LightInTheBox.com. Non-existent or rude customer service. I purchased an item from them and paid a premium for FedEx Expedited Express delivery to receive it within 3-5 business days, an option advertised on their website. Package arrived after 23 days. Asked several times for refund on shipping charges - they don't even respond. This place is a joke, stay away from them.

I ordered Tripod for mobile phone by mistake and I canceled after one hour I ordered. The cancellation was approved. BUT the shipping procedure was continued, and few hours later I received email from the company to notice that It had already shipped. I couldn't believe it! Next day I received another email from the company and they apologized that the product has already shipped. They gave me an advice that when I received the product I then should return to the company. When the company receive the product then they do refund.
When I received the product I went post office and found out the shipping cost for sending back to the company (CHINA). It was NZ$50! I paid NZ$33.79 including shipping cost. So I didn't return the product to the company because I didn't want to spend more money. I don't recommend anyone to buy any product from this company. You can't trust them at all. BAD communications and really BAD quality (it was made in CHINA). Don't use this company.

Ordered package mid January with Shipping Charges & Insurance: Went from China to Germany to Montreal. Sat in Montreal for two weeks. Contacted LightInTheBox in middle of February say, “Your package was shipped WITH tracking. Please allow a few days for delivery. Thank you very much for your kind patience and understanding.”
One month later. “Thank you for shopping with us. We find that the problem described is about parcel and product not received. Please note that this is a service for tracking parcels and we can’t help you with after-delivery issues. Please kindly create a “return or exchange” ticket from your account so that there will be professional representative to help you. Thank you for your support and understanding.” Packages from AliExpress come on a boat from China to Vancouver, BC not Europe then Montreal to Vancouver. Had to get CC for refund.

I have something I paid for and did not receive and it has been over 90 days over. I paid for shipping insurance and they keep telling me "maybe it was bad weather" and check with my local post office. It’s not couriered, it’s mailed so there is no way to find it and they even gave me some tracking number to ask Canada Post about. I humored them, I called. Canada post has no clue. This is my first and last time I do business with this company. I needed the product in 2 weeks max. When I placed my order they stated 2-5 business days through Canada Post. My order was placed Mar.13 and now it's Mar. 23rd. And tracking Nr. reads exactly the same as 1 week ago. Never again do business with this company, I am talking on behalf of other customers.This company is a scam. No address, no phone numbers. It is impossible to return product. Must have picture of hump inside of shoe sole. Must be JPG. Shipping is terrible. You pay expedited 5-7 days and they process it for 30 days from the time they take money from your account. Shoe size 6-7. I am a 6 1/2. Shoes way too small. Advertisement states leather; it is not leather. More like heavyweight paper/maybe canvas. One shoe has huge hump in the middle of sole, and I have to send a picture in JPG format. This is the worst experience and service I have ever experienced. China is not a good place to order from. LightInTheBox is a MESS.

I bought a figure skating dress for my daughter's first competition. The dress was very pretty but it ran on a small side, so I had to return it to exchange for one size up. However, the return/exchange process takes FOREVER!! It's been 6 weeks as I'm writing this review since I shipped back the product, but they still have not confirmed their receipt of the returned product. Since I needed the dress for the competition, I even offered to purchase a new one before my return is processed, but in the meantime, the price of the dress hiked up and they said they can't offer me the same price I originally paid for. I liked the dress a lot, but this return/exchange process is totally unacceptable.
I had my attorney investigate this company a bit. Then I found out that LightInTheBox's Seattle address is FAKE, as is the EIN and the association with a publicly traded company. The Seattle address located at 808 Howell is for the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Seattle which is still being built. Clearly, you can't trust this company. I will NEVER order from this site ever again.

You can't submit a new, fresh ticket on the website. If you mail, they ask you to submit a ticket. If you want to submit a ticket, it has to be added to your previous ordered order nos. only. The website automatically gives you option of the subject you want to raise your ticket under and you can't give any other subject apart from them. When I was trying to order a product today, under payment method, I clicked PayPal by mistake but I wanted to pay through Visa debit card. Now no matter what I do and close and open the website several times, it shows me payment method as PayPal only and I can't change it. I can't pay through PayPal as I don't have an account in it. If I raise more than 1 ticket, customer service team automatically closes 1 ticket without resolving it. :(
So I feel products are wonderful on this website but service is pathetic. They took 14 days last time to deliver my product. Previously I didn't know it's a Chinese website but when I came to know, I couldn't trust on this website. But thank to god, when I cancelled my product, my more than 7000 rs got returned to my account. So my trust got developed on this website. :) But service-wise, it's account pathetic website with no toll free number too. :(

This is the first time dealing with this company, it looked legit to me on the website, so I went ahead and ordered two dresses on February the 9, and went ahead and pay an extra 25 dollars to have them delivery within 3 to 5 business days, so five days passed and nothing in the mail. I communicate with them and they respond to me that 3 to 5 days for deliver after the dresses were made, and it will be no later than March 9, on March 9 I contacted them again, and they send me this mail: "We are sorry to tell you that following item(s) of your Order # is out of stock, and we found that this product will be out of stock for an indefinite period of time. So I sent them an email back to cancel the whole order, because I couldn't understand after one month of placing the order now they do not know when it's going to be available. After reading reviews in this website came to the conclusion that I might not see the money back at all, and this is just a Scam, will hope that people will read this review and do not order from them because they will lose their money. I placed a $50 order, plus $10 shipping, to Sweden. It has been over four weeks and I still do not have my package. Today I received a notice, which indicates that I will need to pay $28 for customs charges and other fees for this package. This company has been deceptive. If there is the potential for additional charges, it must be clearly stated when ordering, which it was not. Purchased a TV box on Dec 29 - 2017, estimated delivery time is 11 to 14 business day. Jan.14 - 2018 opened a case for not received the item, got back with an automatic setup message with the weather issue and ask to wait for a month. Jan. 21 - 2018 nothing showed up, opened a case and get different excuse for the delay then ask to wait for another month. Feb 23 - 2018, still nothing came, open another case get the same result. Escalated the situation to supervisor got the same result. Ask for the refund to buy it somewhere else and nothing have done. Keep telling us that the item is on its way and apologizing for the delay but do nothing but make us wait. This is my first purchase from LightInTheBox and got ripped. I ordered a pair of winter outdoor trousers with a 3-6 days shipping. They never arrived. I contacted them and they stated that they had sent them by the cheapest method and will arrive middle of March. I think they are sent from China and they weren’t that cheap. Just to be clear. Winter trousers are not much good in March when the customer needs them for the current cold and wet weather. Absolutely useless customer service. BUYERS BEWARE! There was a sale on this website for a wired Xbox controller. I thought why not and bought it. It was around the winter season so I expected some delay but this is too much. I bought it on 20 November 2017 and as of this review it is 19 February 2018 and I still have not received it. I asked customer service for help multiple time but most of their responses were a copy paste about how the weather is slowing down the package but according to my tracking it hasn't moved since 27 December 2017 and is still in China so far as I know.

I ordered some clothing from LightInTheBox. I ordered medium but when the items came they were too small. I reached out to the company, shipped the items back paying the $20.00. They acknowledged they received the items. After two months now they haven’t send me the xxl replacement I requested. Customer service department is no longer responding to my emails. Representative Kathy, if that’s a real person advised me the items were shipped and furnished me with a tracking number. This tracking number is useless because USPS said it’s not valid. Item not delivered. Tell them it is missing and get a response that I need to wait because the post office can take a long time. Wait longer as per their guidelines and when item is never seen they are contacted again. This time they want another 90 days to verify it's truly missing! They say on their site that it may take up to 30 days to receive package but they refuse to refund or replace if it doesn't arrive. I'm thinking they hope you give up and they keep your money. These people are a scam and need to have their domain revoked.

I was nervous about purchasing from a company out of the USA, and afraid that I would lose my money so, I was very happy to see my products arrive safe and in less than a week. I ordered 5 items on Sunday January 28th 2018 and they arrived Friday February 2nd 2018. My package never arrived and I was then advised by the company that it could take up to 30 days. After 30 days no sign of package, I requested a refunded. That company sold a SeaGate 3TB computer hard drive for US$111.16 inclusive of freight and insurance. That item supposed to be a new, but to my astonishment it is a rebuilt device and not delivered in its original protective box. Normally a computer hard disk is a very sensitive device. With a slight vibration or a knock its internal mechanical parts can instantly damage.
I wonder how those who export some porcelain products know how to carefully pack their merchandise with lot of protective materials, but an expensive computer hard disk is sold like a cheap pack of chocolate. But it is a shame that there are some professional sellers who know how to earn easy money from your pocket. When asking for refund, they request many unrealistic conditions for the item to be shipped back to them, without mentioning that postage is very expensive in our country. And now though I have lost money in purchasing a defective item, I am very happy that I have learned a precious lesson and I can advise all my friends to be very careful to avoid purchasing in such a condition.

I order a lot of parcels (hundreds) in this store, as I am engaged in trade in Ukraine. Since November 2017 the parcels have become massively lost. After 60 days of waiting, technical support refused to return my money. They referred to the fact that a lot of my parcels were lost and they need to conduct some sort of investigation. And they asked me to wait 180 days!!! Negotiate with them is impossible. They just write WAIT - and that's it... That's the attitude to regular customers! I hope that an adequate person from the LightInTheBox support service will answer me here and help me in the return of my money. Otherwise, you will have to open at once 20-30 disputes in the PayPal system (it is very good that they provide protection to the buyer).

When I enquired I received a series of pathetic excuses about the delivery status from being delayed to lost and even a tracking number that the package was with the post office. When I called the post office they did not recognise the number. I smell a complete scam and even suspicious about this site. Purchased an item and paid for expedited shipping. After several weeks I kept checking tracking and noticed it said custom charges, but did not show charges. I would not approve custom charges without knowing charges, so I canceled order. They only refunded one part of order and keep ignoring their customer service tickets. I just want a refund. Now today three days later they sent a shipping notification. I sent in another ticket. As of today it has been 19 days since order originated. I no longer need the item ordered. They also changed the order number.

I can't begin to describe the poor customer service you get from this outfit. I placed an order Nov.25.2017. I thought I had ordered early enough with their expedited shipping time of 4-8 days that I paid extra for to receive items in time for the holiday. Such was not the case. As of Jan. 11,2018, I have still not received my order. I submitted tickets addressing the shipping charge and said I probably wouldn't get my money back even tho they admitted they erred on shipping type. They sent it standard post. Apparently, after researching this company they do this all the time. Rip off people for shipping cost. To the complaint I filed about this I was given $8.77 USD in rewards (not the whole $9.61 shipping cost I paid) to spend. They have stipulations on how rewards are used. You have to spend double the amount that you have. Which means I have to spend $17.54 USD to get my rewards. Another way they rip you off.
I then complained about the package not being received to which I was told if it's not here by Jan. 7, 2018 they would look into it. That date arrives but the package did not. I then submit another ticket advising them of this to which they give me a tracking number and advise me to go to my post office to look for this package. Now I have to spend gas, time and money to do their job? I replied that wasn't going to happen. This I found is another standard business practice they use to discourage people from getting a refund. I'm then told to wait until Jan.29,2018 for my package to arrive. I check tracking on it everyday just to find it supposedly order departed on flight from origin Dec. 24, 2017.
Today I look and today I see they are preparing to dispatch this mail piece, whatever that is supposed to mean. They absolutely will not consider refunding my money even though I have asked several times even to the point of demanding yet get brushed off. I think with all the similar complaints I have found on this company who claim to be listed on New York stock exchange that something could be done to correct their illegal business practices.

There is NO phone contact information to explain the situation. I have put messages on their customer service portal and all they keep saying is the dress was delivered. It was not. I have now made the huge and very stupid mistake of ordering twice from this company; once in the guise of lightinthebox.com and the other from their subsidiary miniinthebox.com - they have clearly spent a lot of money on SEO and their websites come up #1 in the rankings for so many products. But in both cases, the goods simply never arrived. They have also clearly spent a lot of money in making their online customer service look efficient, and encouraging you to file support tickets when the goods don't come, and giving you options to complain to a supervisor etc. But it's all just a complete facade. When you complain, you get a whole series of emails apologising profusely and assuring you that they are a very professional company blah blah - and saying, "Oh it will be there soon, 30 days, 60 days..."
I regularly order stuff from China, it does NOT take 60 days for a parcel to arrive from China. The first time they pulled this stunt on me I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But after the second order, and getting pretty much the same series of emails etc etc - I'm kicking myself for being so naive. I don't think they have any intention of ever dispatching anything, it's just a pure scam. And any posts on here to the contrary should be viewed with deep suspicion because I am sure they have people writing fake reviews on sites like this too, it would be an obvious play in their scam.

I ordered makeup brushes online with them. Ordered on 20 November 2017 and it's been 2 months still have not received anything. Every time I talk to customer service they just ask to wait for few more days. Online they claim to deliver the stuff within 10-15 days. So first customer service told me to wait for 30 days... then 40 days... and now 60 days. I took some delivery insurance as well but I don't think it even matters. It's just a way to get more money from the customers. They have the same reply every time and mark the ticket as resolved although it's not. Also, closed the first ticket themselves without even resolving it so I had to submit a new ticket. I would never recommend anybody to shop from this website.

I ordered a security camera and paid for a 4-7 day delivery, but it is now almost 6 weeks and I have yet to receive it. I have made many inquiries asking them where my order is and they keep sending me standard responses claiming "in case of bad weather or unexpected situation, please kindly understand that they may need more days; most of the packages can be delivered in 28 days". But in each case they simply change the expected delivery date, pushing it back and further back.
Now (after almost 6 weeks) they are telling me to wait a further 3 weeks. If it should turn up in 3 weeks (which I very much doubt) it will be 2 months late. This is unacceptable as I had bought it as a Christmas gift and Christmas is well and truly over now. I have made repeated requests for a refund but all I get is the standard responses telling me to wait longer for the item. I don't believe they were ever capable of delivering the item within 7 days and they don't appear to make any effort to resolve the situation. LightInTheBox customer service is appalling. I don't believe they ever take any real notice of the tickets I raise and are only interesting in resolving the tickets ASAP by quickly sending standard responses.

Absolutely terrible service. I ordered travel accessories on the 14th of December or 1 trip I will be taking on the 6th of January. I paid for expedited shipping which said 5-8 days as I needed the products somewhat urgently. I am still yet to receive the packages or get any sort of clear indication when they will come if ever, I have contacted the customer support multiple times and have had no help in problem resolution at all, just generic replies assuring me my package will arrive eventually.
Not only is this company incredibly disorganized it is quite deceitful in its advertising for times. Yes I understand it is a busy Christmas period and yes I understand that it is shipping from China. I would not wish I had known an accurate time frame beforehand and had not been lied to. Honestly now I won't even need the products and the company has offered nothing in the way of a refund even though I have told them this. Absolutely horrible service, there is no way I will be using this again and I advise that you do not either. I only wish I had read reviews earlier.

I purchased phone on 11/17/2017. They didn’t ship till 11/29/2017. I paid for expedited shipping 4-8 days for delivery. It is now 12/28/2017 and still have not received the phone. The tracking number they gave me shows nothing but electronically received. I have contacted them at least 4-5 times and each time they state, “wait a few more days” then mark my ticket resolved. I have put this into a dispute with PayPal now and awaiting their decision. I truly regret ever doing business with this company. I ordered an item from them over 2 weeks ago, Included expedited shipping which according to them should take four to eight days. It took them a week just to ship the item. However, I just received notification again (two weeks later) that they just shipped it. Horrible company. Horrible shipping. Horrible customer service. I will never ever buy from them again and I suggest you don't either.

I placed an order and paid for expedited global shipping. Was supposed to get order on 12-19-17. Have yet to receive my order. Was told by Silvia to contact post office. Was sent a message today that if I did not contact post office that it would be sent back their warehouse. I will never order from this place again and would urge anyone thinking about it to reconsider and spend their money elsewhere.

I believe they are guilty but false advertising on their site. Both my mother and I orders separate items at different times. We both paid the fee for 2-3 day delivery. I needed a skating dress in 10 days for a performance. My mom was ordering a Xmas present. When it didn't arrive and I checked the site for why it's said delivery wasn't occurring for a month! My mom had same experience leaving her without a gift for someone for Xmas. When she emailed them she was told they will ship it in 2-3 days once they process it. And as far as they are concerned they see no problem with having people pay a fee for expected delivery which clearly they have no intention of doing. I keep getting emails and would like to let them know I will never use them again but you can't really contact them either.

Have been trying to order something there for last 2 months with very mixed experience. For some reason they are canceling my every second order without comments. I believe they cancel orders which have very cheap prices because their prices are fake. What they have shipped was not cheaper than any other Chinese shop and in fact nothing very special. Seems to be very unfriendly and time-consuming scam.

Today is the 12th day after the payment of the order ** (Xiaomi Mi Mix 2). On the product page, you gave me an answer yesterday that the order is formed 1-2 days. Also in the correspondence, 6 days ago I was promised that the time of sending the order is no more than 6 days. I created a request for a refund. You closed it, because you saw that another ticket was open. I was offered a refund 3 euros (order was 500 euros) and that will send an order today. Order status has not changed. The response time for messages is usually not less than 2 days. All complaints on Facebook are erased. There is no money, no goods! This is the worst service in my life!!!

Do not order from new websites. Stick to the common ones. From day one I had nothing but problems with this company. I paid $28.37 for expedite delivery 2-3 days (LIE), I placed this order on October 31, 2017, so why I wasn't refund my delivery fee back since I didn't receive this order until November 23 or 24, 2017. My credit card was hacked and someone spent $1386 on a shopping spree and on top of that both pair of the shoes I ordered the left shoe of each heel broke after two wears. The company isn't trying to refund me my money back. This is the last response from them:
“We regret to inform you that we only accept returns or replacements within 14 days after delivery of the order. Monday, November 13, 2017 Delivered - Signed for by: PEEWEE ** DELRAY BEACH 13:19. It has been >35 days since you received the package. We apologize for not being able to accept your return request. As you're our valued customer and we strive for your satisfaction, we would like to offer you a USD25 REWARDS as compensation.”
This order wasn't delivered until November 23 or 24, 2017 and I did not wear the shoes until December 3, 2017 both pairs at different times. I contacted them the very next day and they were giving me the runaround to drag this out so they wouldn't have to refund me my $60 back, so for them not to even try to do the right thing and present excellent customer service, shows me that this is a company I will never order from again. They tried to say at first it was the carrier fault but once I showed them pictures now I had the shoes more than 14 days… SCAM!!!

I ordered a wig, and has not received it. It was supposed to be sent 7 days ago. You cannot call, only send an email, with a promise of being contacted within 24 hours. I have not been contacted, and the item not delivered. I contacted my bank, to investigate, and hopefully will recover my money. This company is a total rip-off. The reviews are false.

I've ordered a pair of shoes that I never received. Very disappointed with the service. My shipping should be taken up 14 working days, after more than 2 months I still waiting for my order. I emailed the customer service but they replied me with an automatic email. How can I check all the post offices from China? I believe they don't want waste time to investigate for me. Really upset for that. But at least I've learned something. Never trust online companies without a good reputation or customer service line. Next time I will back to Amazon for my orders.

The picture you buy is not the item that you will receive. The fur coat flat and has a short fur. Pictured coat has a long and fancy fur. I will never buy from your company again and will not recommended to others: Total cost of the item: coat $31.41, shipping $9.84, DHL brokerage $29.78, Total cost: $71.03. To ship it back to China (for refund $31.41) will cost $65.

I ordered a dress online from Lightinthebox months ago, and it never did arrive. Luckily I had paid via Paypal and was able to create an online dispute. I contacted the company first, and they just said "check your local post office," so I did, knowing full well it was not there, before responding that I had done so. To this, they did not reply. When I disputed it via Paypal, it was resolved in my favour and Paypal even indirectly referred to them as a "fraudulent company" and showed me where to go on their site to check for this.

I purchased a 20X outdoor security cam. Total failure out of the box. Light In The Box was no help. I'm out $185.00. I had to start a dispute with my credit card company. The camera came with a power supply that was never designed for outdoor use (dumb). I could not get the cam to work on my phone app after countless attempts at it. The broken English Chinese instructions were totally inadequate. Very tough to work with them to get the refund. I'm still waiting.

On 11/11/17 I ordered several items for business gifts. The money was taken from my account and it showed that the items were shipped. On 11/30/17 I still had not received my order, and had been out of town for Thanksgiving holiday. Upon researching I found they had cancelled my order as they wanted to charge me an additional $28 for shipping! That is BAD customer service!

I ordered a dress from here for my wedding. I realized right away that I had probably ordered a size too small, cancelled the existing order within 12 hours and reordered a larger size. I then got an email (3 days later) saying that you had to cancel within 24 hours or pay 1/2 the cost of the order (per the online agreement). I referred them to the original cancel request, which had been sent within 12 hours. I then went and did a screenshot of the cancel request because I was suspicious, given the other really poor reviews.
We went back and forth for a couple of days - them saying I didn't cancel and me saying I disputed the charges with my credit card company. The last time I went to look, they had indeed COMPLETELY ERASED the online correspondence where I had asked them to cancel. I then sent them the screenshot and they were more than happy to refund my money. What a total scam. DO NOT BELIEVE it when they say 100% customer satisfaction. I would 100% NEVER order anything from them again.

I ordered a wig priced at $130. They removed the money from my card... Told me the order was processed. And a few days later said they were cancelling the order due to me not providing "final verification". Whatever that even means. They said they sent me a refund that could take up to 45 days to process! I asked them why remove money from my card if you hadn't even processed the order and they simply just apologized. Now they have stopped responding. There is no phone number to even contact them. I'd be shocked if they actually refund me my money. Hoooorrible!!!

Unacceptable, unfair and unethical practice throughout. Out of stock items. Advice after order was already placed and card charged. Items received were nothing like on the picture or description on the website. Poor fabric and finishes, some not cotton or of seasonal relevance as advertised. Return: at your own expense, followed their instructions to the dot, paying $150 SGD of the large order I have placed, returning nearly every item back, all with tags, in original packaging and within the time frame" - received by the company claiming "three items are missing" without any more explanation, no name of the item, no itemized charges. Not answering in a professional and formal manner, even after the complaint. Never received a statement in any form, pdf or in email complete with itemization of received items and allegedly missing items.
I have provided shipment receipt as requested for them to verify "the weight of the parcel" instead. Initially advised return amount not honored, worded "as agreed by you," a lie as I did not agree to the deductions which they failed to acknowledge before I raised questions. It puts me in a disadvantaged position, treating my every effort to comply in an unfair way. Uncharacteristically I was asked to verify my identity due to their highlighted "risk of fraud" after I placed my order. I was requested to provide proof of ID and address, which I did without a problem acknowledging the enhanced measures. Very disappointed and would never recommend buying from this company to anyone. I will be pursuing it further to get a full refund and a compensation.

I knew my order (without tracking) would take about 20 days, but 36 days is a bit long, but then I saw why, came China, on a boat I guess? Not only was the shipment incomplete and incorrect, and I tried to use their customer service guidelines to correct and complain, I cannot locate a phone number to actually talk to someone... Guess I will have to cancel the credit card charge to get their attention. I should have read the reviews first.

The ordeal started after not receiving the package within the 14 days shipping I had paid for (they apparently never honor this so don’t waste your money). After logging a ticket, they replied by stating it would take up to 38-40 days for the package to arrive not the 14 days selected at check out. Additional communication with customer service would just net a canned response without answering any of my questions.
After the 40+ days elapsed and the package not yet received they said they’d provide a refund based on the fact that the delivery company stated the package was not delivered, but, this would only be done after the package was received at their end. Fast forward another 2 months, refund has not occurred yet so I had to submit yet another ticket.
This time they stated that it had been too long since the item was shipped for them to provide a refund unless I could provide proof. They didn’t even refer to their previous communication stating they would process a refund. I then went ahead and provided the proof and again they stated the refund would be approved once the package was received at their end. I’ve now decided to open this ticket as others need to be aware of these issues.

I ordered jazz shoes from LightInTheBox and one shoe is defective. I emailed their customer service and they said that I need to send the item back and I will have to pay for the fee. The amount of the shipping fee is 4 times the price of the item that I received. We are talking about a defective item here and it is not my fault that I received a damaged one. They should at least waive the fee or give me a return waybill because it is their fault. Please do not ever buy anything from this site or you will ended up having the same problem like mine.

I placed a large order at the end of September. The order was split into two shipments because most items were not in stock. The first shipment went out very quickly and I received it within the expedited shipping timeframe. The second order shipped a week or so later with a projected 2-4 days in transit to me. I checked the tracking number and it always said no information available. I opened a ticket a week and a half after the ship date to inquire as to where my package was and tell them that the tracking number said no information. After 2 days they responded. They basically said, "Oh sorry, we accidentally shipped postal service so it'll take a month or so". I replied that I was very unhappy and demanded a refund for the additional shipping cost. They provide this but gave it in the form of CREDITS ON THEIR WEBSITE. I was told to message them on Nov 1 if my package didn't arrive. Well, its 11/4 now.
I opened another ticket on Nov 1 and said the package was still MIA and said I wanted a refund. They asked me to wait another couple of days because their courier is very busy. If it didn't arrive by then, I would be given a refund via credit on their website. Pfffttt. I told them that I would be disputing the charge for the ENTIRE order with my credit card if the package didn't show up or if they didn't send a new order within a week, with expedited shipping. We'll see what they say but I've already started a dispute form with my bank!

I have order couple of pairs light up bottom shoes. One of the pairs wasn't light up and missing charger wire and both shoes are ripped off stitches. I paid for delivery and insurance. I contact them more than 12 times to solve the problem, finally I realized they don't want solve my issue and they don't want refund the money or exchange with new one. They want to send it back to China with my own expense. Already charged me additional 33 dollars to received my order by DHL. Please help me to solve this problem. Shoes for kids they are totally disappointed. For 52 dollars shoes so far I paid 115 dollars already I cannot spent anymore. Please save the consumer from these kind of fraud retailers.

I ordered 3 Xiaomi cameras in April of this year, they arrived in time. I set them up using the recommended app, went online work just fine but after updating they are no longer functioning. I contact the app's creator, which said I must contact the seller for help/support. I've been trying to contact them, but what's on their site doesn't get you through to anybody. Only to customer service in reference to shipping & other matters, that is not related to the issues/problems I am dealing with. I am very frustrated not being able to get through to anybody. Money lost, useless cameras, & seemly no support anywhere. There need to be a warning to consumers to beware before buying, so they could decided whether to buy or not.

Then they send me an email that one of my order, the jacket is out of stock and told me that they will refund my payment after 30 days. Ugh, I'm one of the poor saps that stupidly made a purchase on LightInTheBox. Thankfully, I'm only out $25, but it's still frustrating. Basically, I ordered a wig for Halloween and it never came. I paid for expedited shipping, but at day 40, I still haven't received anything. Around the 25 day mark, I emailed their customer service about the issue and they replied that international orders always take 40+ days (despite their advertised shipping times). I emailed them again about a refund and predictably, there's been no answer. Do not buy from this website - it's a scam.

I ordered a pair of shoes back at the end of Sept, for my niece's homecoming dance that was back on Oct 7th. Ordered the shoes est 2 weeks before the dance, and I still have not received the dress shoes I bought and paid for! My niece was very upset, and so was I. It said it would take 5-8 days for shipping. Well like I said I still have not received my order! I received a confirmation and the item Id # and tried to track them several times and still kept getting same thing. Well now it shows me that I never even ordered anything! Would just like a refund if I could get a hold of someone at this supposed to be company!

So I ordered on 27/09, the item has arrived today 21/11. That is 24 days for shipping. The package was not signed for, just delivered by ordinary post. I paid £10 for the package to arrive within 7 days, tracked, so not happy about that. At least arrived, it's in good condition although smaller than the measurements! But it just fits luckily... Probably I won't order from this company again as the post is deceptive.

I ordered the Wedding Wraps Coats/Jackets 3/4-Length Sleeve Satin White Party/Evening T-shirt Open Front #00398826 for my daughter in a size 10 even though she is a size 8 and the jacket is too tight across the back and around the arms and she just can't wear it. I also ordered Wedding Wraps Coats/Jackets 3/4-Length Sleeve Satin white Wedding/Party/Evening/Casual T-shirt Clasp #00631948 in Ink Blue SIZE 16w. It is far too small. Doesn't even meet at the front to do up the clasp and it is made out of the taffeta not satin which also makes it the wrong color.
When I wrote to them they told me that they do not refund on made to order items but they did finally agree to after I sent them photos of the items which I have also included in this review. They gave me instructions on how to return the items and told me they would send a RMA code within 24 hrs but this took more correspondence to them and 12 days later they sent the RMA code to which I went to the post office and sent off the items back to them. 4 weeks later I still hadn't received the refund so I contacted them again after more correspondence they told me that they have not received the items and can't refund my money and have now closed the ticket again so I am out of pocket AUD$92.20 plus an extra $30.00 for the return postage and have no items.

I ordered 2 flower girl baskets on Sept 10th for my Oct 6th wedding thinking it will be plenty of time to receive the package before the wedding. I chose the Postal Expedited shipping method which states it will take 4-8 business days and I received a confirmation that it will be shipped by Sept 27th. However, I did not receive the package on time and to make matters worse, when I submitted a ticket as instructed online, it sends you an automated answer from supposedly "customer service" which now states my package will take up to 28 days and it will be delivered by Oct 13th.
Tracking system they provide also does NOT tell you where in the states or even in the country your package is but it only shows "it's in transition" who knows where. I submitted another ticket to file a complaint that I demanded a refund since it will not do me any good. I receive the product late and they falsely indicated the shipping process. Then, I finally received the package on October 12th but since I no longer needed the product, I didn't open it and went online again to submit a ticket to return the package.
Instructions online says it's simple to return but this sounds too good to be true. It's not just printing the UPS return package slip like other legitimate companies. Of course, customer service states you need to wait for "RMA" code which I have never heard of and I had to submit another ticket because again, they did not send the RMA code for me to return the package the next day.
Here I am filing complaint after complaint to receive my refund. I filed a complaint to BBB and this company is a complete scam to get money from the consumers and causing the whole return process to be extremely inconvenient and they delay the process to make sure you do not get your refund. There is no phone number and submitting a ticket to so-called "customer service" is not what you think and even though your issue doesn't get resolved, they close the ticket as "resolved."
I will do whatever in my power to make sure that everyone gets a message not to order from this company and continue to file complaints to make sure this company doesn't continue to scam people online. I will also file a complaint to FTC to look into this company who operates in China which makes it more complicated for any consumers ordering in the US to feel more frustrated. This company is making millions of dollars sending faulty products and scamming people out of money. I wished I had checked out the reviews before ordering online from this company!

This less than honest does NOT provide and phone # allowing you to contact them. Some joker has posted online that he can provide a contact number if you send him $25.00. I ordered sandals and waited for over two months before receiving a package from Lightin which contained shoes that I had not ordered. I sent an email and also was able to find another email to use when there existed a problem. I never received a response from anyone. It has now been three months, I sent the information requested which included information on the sandals I had originally ordered. Still waiting for an answer. Told them to refund my purchase and I would return the crap shoes that had sent in error. DO NOT trust a thing they say and if you are determined to purchase something use paypal or a credit card. Paypal and credit card companies will protect your money. Wishing you good luck if you do order.

I purchased miscellaneous clothing items and a keyboard to the total value of €188.92 incl. shipping. When the items arrived, the order was split up and I had to pay additional delivery charges of €30 besides the VAT due to the company sending two separate shipments instead of one. Upon arrival the items 4 of the items were faulty to the tune of +-€120 incl VAT and excl the extra courier fees! Having to return these items at an additional cost of €70 tomorrow. This is a total of €130 (€60+€70) that I'm having to just throw away to the swines. And LightInTheBox.com has the audacity to ask me to send the items in their original two boxes!!! This company are a ** joke. Ordered 2 items on 6th September/despatched on the 7th according to the site order, after various emails back and forth (they always come with the same crap) delivery was 9-12 days that suddenly changed to 10-12 days. So after 24 plus days still no items. Then and only then did they offer a refund (even that was too much for them, had to wait for them to contact their admin office to start a refund - crap). Now after several more emails I have now been informed I will receive my items on the 1/11/2017... unreal. All that time from China. LMAO.
I've recently placed orders on eBay from China. Arrived within a week or two, oh and incidentally on my order sheet from their website my order date has also changed from 6th September to the 27th September... how these morons are still in business is amazing. I purchased three pairs of shoes from the company. After trying on the shoes, I decided to return them all. The website was extremely confusing and sent me in circles over and over around the return. There was no number to call and speak to a person, and the customer service site was extremely confusing and unhelpful. This felt as if it was intentional to prevent people from being able to make returns. I absolutely would not suggest purchasing anything from this company. Had I known about their poor customer service I would not have purchased from them myself.

Like me you probably are searching for this company after your product did not arrive in the 2-3 days promised. This is because, according the courier they use, 2-3 business days is impossible for most shipments. There is ASSUREDLY NOT an unusual delay at the border as they told me. They just promise unrealistic times hoping you will order not realizing the trap that has caught you.
The very best thing you can do at this point is refuse delivery of your product and start a chargeback with your credit card company. Here is why. If the company is this dishonest about just their shipping times, imagine the quality of their products (or read the other horror stories). If you accept the item then the cost to return any defective products will likely be yours. How much do you think it will cost to return the item(s) to China? That is the trap!
Refuse the item for being late and start a chargeback. Make copies of all your communications, receipts, etc. Call the shipping company and records the conversation regarding delivery. Call the local shipper (UPS, FED EX, or DHL) and tell them not to deliver without your express authorization in writing and record the call. The courier for LightInTheBox can tell you who will deliver. Complain vigorously to your credit card company for accepting such nefarious persons as customers. Maybe, just maybe you can get back your money and learn, as I did, to research online companies better for ordering anything.

As an Irish person, I have to Post this complaint online. I bought 2 security cameras (dummy cameras) online from LightInTheBox. I paid extra insurance in case the item got lost. The parcel came to An Post and then went to customs. Customs contacted me and said that the items will be released back to An Post. An Post, the Irish postal service lost them (you have to doubt the caliber of An Post staff). They advised me to contact light in the box about a refund. I have, and I am still sending them emails by their ticket system. They are fobbing me off. My only advice is DO NOT PURCHASE ANY ITEM FROM LIGHT IN THE BOX. You will regret it. Even though An Post lost the item, Light in the box are still responsible.

I purchased a Blackview BV7000 Pro 5.0 inch 4G Smartphone. The phone is exceptionally reviewed. Issue is not one with the item, the ad says 4-5 days shipping and processing and that the items was in stock so I paid with my CC. I learned that what they call gold was called champagne and rose by other sellers so within 4 hours I changed saying they could send silver or grey. Well it took 48 hours for a reply to my ticket then I was told they changed the order and it would ship in 2-3 days, then the wait began.
Despite being listed in stock, it took 22 days to actually ship the item. Well after 15 days, I clicked cancel order and purchased another phone. They ignored me then closed the cancel order ticket saying it was being taken care of on another ticket despite me open ticket after ticket I was ignored until I got a email saying it had shipped. I could see through it early, they are just scummy and dishonest and you will feel it when communicating with them. Avoid them. Go to Aliexpress or anywhere, really, eBay etc. Oh they promised me a $24 discount on future purchases, never happened!

Ordered a bathroom faucet with promised 2-3 day delivery [paid extra for expedited delivery and tracking]. One week later no faucet. Filed a complaint with Lightinthebox.com and no resolution in sight. Since I purchased through PayPal I am hoping to get a total refund... will see!!! Recommendation to always avoid using "Lightinthebox.com" scam company which has been noted on this site.

This site is fraud site. I had ordered one men's blazer. First they delivered in 20 days that to very cheap quality and cost was 1300. They said, "Sorry for late delivery. We will give you shipping cost back" but they didn't. They just ignore. You can't even contact them on phone. Ticket facility is there but they itself resolve ticket without solving problem. The positive reviews are paid one so please don't buy anything from this website. China they also didn't refund me and they say to send the product to China with a fake address. This site should be spam and blocked as earliest.

It took 3 months for the tattoo gun to arrive in New Zealand, from China. Looked like they just threw it in the post bag with no Instructions! I had no idea what to do with it. It doesn't come with a plug either. So after weeks of emails, I finally returned the stupid thing. I paid $66 NZ and they only refunded me $44 US. How rude is that? The Ink cups never turned up so I wasn't refunded for them. And when I asked for a refund for the postage I had to pay to send it back to China, they told me I would only get 50% refunded on the postage. That 50% of the US dollar which is a lot higher than the NZ dollar. This put me off buying online and as we all say, I wish I came here and read the reviews before I wasted my time and money on LightInTheBox.com. Never Again!

I made a purchase only after watching reviews on YouTube. Apparently, they perform great services to YouTubers to get good press, so they could further scam. I placed my order August 4th... one month and 3 days later, no word. I actually emailed them and they told me to contact them if I haven't received my package by September 17th... really?! I had a tracking number until August 10th and since then... NOTHING! China is a 13-20 hr flight, so I don't understand the 1 1/2 month wait. Anyway, I hope I get my package. That would be $400 I've wasted. I will never order from them again based on the processing/delivery time alone. Who knows what the product is going to look like when I get it. I wish I would've found this forum prior to placing my order.

After one month trying to contact the customer services using Facebook (as our orders don't appear on the historic list of the site which forbids us also to get the invoices from our orders), we are sad to realize that there is no after sales service available to contact in any way, and that the local correspondents on Facebook just don't care about it. This is getting much too difficult to deal with a company which even doesn't give you a way to contact its customer services if a problem occurs on your delivered items. We will so in the future contact other suppliers to get this type of items.

Experience was horrible. I think this is some Chinese scammers. So, they keep on delaying the delivery of the package and I cannot even track it. I ordered it July 5 and still do not have it. Just do not use this one for online shopping, they are just gonna get your money for sure. And one thing, they do not have any customer phone number you can call to, that alone is already suspicious. But, sigh, well, lesson learned. Hope their website will be taken down.

I ordered the hand oil-painting wall picture from their website which showing the picture size I wanted. After paying everything with my visa card, the confirmation email was showing the picture size is different and they sent me wrong size one to my home. I talked to them many times regarding this matter, they asked me to pay postage myself which I did not agree to do this because they made mistake and they are supposed to take full responsibility. The argument end up with their ignoring and they closed our conversation without any notice. Very bad experience with them and I wasted nearly $150, but I will never order anything from them.

Bought a dress from LightInTheBox and once arrived, quality was a total crap. Complained with photos and was asked in order to be refunded - send the product back to their logistics center. Did that - and all tickets were closed. Complained, and second ticket were closed. Complained again... do not think this will end well. No news from the LightInTheBox, silence. This company is crap, and has very bad service. They do not even target to serve the consumer - they just will take your money, and be silent with the problems. They have no quality control for the products they ship, but customer service that helps you with the problems. I would not advice to trust them.

I ordered a shawl in June for wedding in October. It tracked from country of origin on June 20. July 24 in country of destination. After that could be anywhere in the world. Contacted LightInTheBox and got 3 tickets (complaint resolution). All the same stock answer: "Sorry for the long delay...not normal. Check with your post office...after 60 days we will help" and on and on. I am fed up. I want my money back or the item in next week or filing a government complaint. DO NOT order from here. Especially if it is from a special occasion. It sounds like I have a month to get it but I need to have it made into a shrug and I am losing time especially since they do not even know where it is.

Company advertised 11-14 days shipping. 20+ days later, told me it could take up to 40 days because of the weather or customs. 40+ days elapsed with no delivery, so they simply updated estimated time to an outrageous estimate of 60 days. After asking for a refund, they simply stopped corresponding with me. This company is a ripoff and misrepresents their delivery time. I can't comment on the product because it didn't arrive. No refund and no product. They entice you with low prices, take your money and then make excuses. Stay away from LightInTheBox.com. P.S. They can however, be counted upon to send you daily emails trying to sell you stuff. This is the worst online company I've come across thus far.

I paid for expedited service to be shipped to me in 3 business days and received nothing. I put a ticket in and they make some excuse and end the letter by stating if I don't receive it by 9/22/2017 to contact them a month and a week later. These items were needed for class, I had a assessment and if know I wouldn't have received by the 15 as they confirm with a extra 20.00 price for expedited. I would've shopped elsewhere. These people are rip offs. Stay clear. Do not shop from them. They have no intention on good service. Very angry and out of 66.00 and a failed assessment due to not having supplies.

I ordered a router from them, which was marked 24 hours to ship and paid for 2 day delivery service. 4 days later, it was marked shipped - but strangely enough there was no tracking record showing that the carrier ever received it. I complained repeatedly, and when I got fed up and asked for a refund or chargeback, lo and behold, the carrier received it. 11 days later. I still don't have it, though. So this could get worse. They're scammers. Stay away.

Ordered XXXL women goat skin vest with fake fur as per the size chart. Item received but 25cm (bust size) smaller than the chart. Suspect the size tag was fake. Returned the item back to China which cost me $22. After 48 days they refund the price of vest $52 only. I lost total shipping cost of $41. Very upset & feel like have been cheated. I ordered 3 no. SWIFT Outdoor inflatable loungers. Order No.: #** on Monday 10 July 2017 from LightInTheBox.com. I'd never used the company before, and I checked out the customer reviews (as I always do) - which seemed to show the supplier was OK. LightInTheBox.com specifically promised a delivery within 3-4 days. I needed the items for the following weekend, so this seemed to be just what I wanted. When the items didn't arrive on time, I went back to the company's website to find out why, only to discover a message that told me it wasn't possible to track the order, and I should refer back to where I had ordered it - which led nowhere! I started to wonder what was going on.
The delivery eventually arrived on 19 July - too late for the event I wanted to use them for, and when I opened the package, I discovered there were only two loungers, not three. I'd been done up like a kipper. £48.62 for 2 loungers, 5 days late! I sent an e-mail to the company on 23 July, asking for a refund of the delivery charges - which given their unsatisfactory performance, I thought was the least they could do. It's now 07 August, and I'm still waiting for a reply. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. THEY'RE A BUNCH OF CON ARTISTS.

Quality and workmanship is very poor of the wedding dress. Their website do not list any phone numbers. Their ticket resolution process is not prompt and no follow-through. Tickets are closed without any resolution. Return workflow is very lengthy and cumbersome. Packaging do not have instructions on where to return the item. Product return form is never mailed. Repeated requests in vain. I would highly recommend PayPal not to do business with such a vendor that is not honest and do not know how to service their accounts.

I wish I had read this lot before I got conned into dealing with this bunch of thieves. All we were ordering was fidget spinners (the latest craze for kids). They took a lifetime to arrive, even though the site said 3-4 days, and then one of them fell to pieces inside 10 minutes. Good job their website is so carefully constructed to make complaining almost impossible, though from what I have seen on here they don't give one anyway. If you ever think of buying anything from this lot, for heaven's sake think again. Anywhere is better than here, unless you like wasting money.

This company is totally fraud which steal money from customers if you make a big purchase. Mine was made on June 11, they gave me tracking number with inaccurate information then kept changing the delivery time 3 times. It's going to be almost 2 months and I haven't received anything yet. I already asked for a full refund and I'm still waiting for an answer.

The end of May I ordered favor boxes from LightInTheBox.com. The description on the website said expedited delivery in 4-8 days. The boxes arrived the end of June (after my wedding) date. I sent multiple e-mails prior to the wedding re delivery. I received only one response where they stated delivery in 4 weeks, not the 4-8 days. The company ignored my requests about how to return them. I am going to pop the unopened package into the mail and pray for the best. The lack of LightInTheBox responses shows they are not interested at all with customer satisfaction. I would not recommend this company to any one. In fact, I rate the company as 0 on a scale of 1-10. Please do not order from this company (for your own peace of mind).

They took 7 days to ship the item from China, then no tracking updates for 10 days until it arrived in NY at a USPS facility. We paid for "expedited" shipping for delivery in 8-14 calendar days. It took 23 days from when they confirmed the order. When the scheduled delivery date had come and gone, we asked for shipping status and their customer service responded that instead of the quoted 8-14 days it could take 26 days or more. Despite many attempts to unsubscribe from their e-mail advertisements, we still get an average of two a day. I have since blocked their domain name at our ISP. AVOID LightInTheBox.com!!!

I purchased a kitchen faucet with and led water-powered light. It started to fail after a couple of years (led light on nozzle) so I contacted the company to ship a replacement nozzle. They did not get back to me with a solution so I had to guess at replacement parts, waited until four of them shipped from China, took forever, and they are wrong!!! I am angry that I could scream!!! They provide no phone number contact (that might have helped). Now, I have to return these items!
