I order 2 shirts and a dress, sent me wrong size! They won't exchange until I return items. I returned the 2 shirts and the dress. I provide them with track number of each return item. 2 months have passed and I still not receiving ANYTHING! (the replacement) There is no phone number for customer service, only email and they reply whenever they feel like! I can't talk to anyone about my items that I ordered. I spent $135.00 in my order and LIGHTINTHEBOX still not helping me! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT ANYONE!!! This company need to be out of business. Someone need to do something about it!!!

We ordered a month and a half ago- still no prom dress....no one to call. Half ** responses on Facebook Messenger. Tracking company knows nothing. Showing me that package was in my city over 2 weeks ago, yet no one knows anything. USPS has no record of this package and I'm getting squat for answers. I guess I will call my credit card and have them cancel the transaction under fraudulent activity.

Updated on 05/02/2019: This review is continuation from my previous post that the company marked as private. However, I will not accept this as international customers should really be vary of this company. They have an extremely unethical, unilateral and inconsiderate way of managing customer requests. First the order was placed on April 18th and today is May 2 and I still haven't received anything. This is already more than 13 calendar days. It did not take you that much time to charge my credit card. Secondly I am repeatedly highlighting because of your delays I will be unable to receive and check the order. Thus, would need your help to return the items if needed out of the return policy. However, LightInTheBox team is shamelessly evading this request and taking ownership for their delays.
Thirdly, I asked to cancel the items with full refund if the return policy cannot be relaxed. Again, the company respond with same shameless ignorance. Fourthly, continuing from their unprofessional and uncustomer friendly behavior they keep closing unrelsoved customer service tickets and saying they have be resolved. Such bad customer experience and cheating in broad daylight.
Original Review: I ordered dresses from Lightinthebox.com. I particularly chose to pay extra and get express delivery. This website clearly mentions express delivery is 5-8 days. However, after placing the order the timelines increased to 18 days. There is no proper tracking number. The tracking ID, the website provides, is not searchable on the courier service website. I placed repeated customer service request and they didn't even bother to read my complaint. I got a standard automated response and then service ticket was closed. This is horrible customer experience. Not only was I charged extra for delivery that I have still not received but I also was subjected to sub standard customer service. Will not use this website again and recommend the others to be beware.

Worst online shop I’ve ever experience. Purchased April 11 and processing took them almost a week and the only thing they told me is 1 item is not available that’s why they cannot ship my order so when I told them to cancel that item and go on with the other items, took them days again and “MARK” my orders as shipped. Been checking it everyday and items are still in California after being picked up but not accepted by USPS yet. Even paid for the faster shipment. Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star for this review.

I paid extra for fast delivery and it’s still not here. It says it shipped on the 23rd and now it the 30th. The timeframe said 2-5 days and my package still has not come. I will never ever order from here again if my package doesn’t come. I was counting on the timeframe as I needed it for an event which has passed btw.

ORDER **. Horrible experience so far. Ordered expensive item on April 1st. Got an email on April 4th saying it was shipped, with this tracking number: ** which does not work. Got another email April 9th, again saying it was shipped, but with a different tracking number: **. This tracking number says the package never left China and was returned to sender.
Got yet another email April 15th, again saying it was shipped, again with a different tracking number: **. Customer service says this is the correct tracking number, but after 10 days it still does not work. It's now been 26 days after ordering. I paid for Expedited Postal shipping: 6 - 12 business days, and I have no clue where my item is as it can not be tracked. It should have arrived by now.

Updated on 05/09/2019: Re previous review update. After I sent my review the company in question responded asking us for order number on the 30th April 2019 which we sent and lo and behold no reply from LightInTheBox. WHAT A SURPRISE! 16 months after they took my money and they can't tell me anything. What type of people are they? Are they corrupt have they stolen my money. I’ve got to warn everyone who are intending to buy of these. Don’t it. Will become the biggest mistake you’ve made. There a disgrace to say the least and now have messed things up for online shopping as I’ve now lost all trust in the system. Thank you for taking the time to read. Please no matter how good the purchase looks. DON'T LOSE YOUR MONEY.
Original review: Ordered a tent back in January 2018 and it never arrived. It’s now May 2019. People must listen and understand that once you hand your hard earned cash over to this company you’ve just waved goodbye to it. The tent cost just short of £100 and it was a gift for my grandson. After a lot of emails and lies back and forth it became clear that I’ve been robbed. This company should never be allowed to trade. I’m warning everyone who are thinking of making a purchase. Don’t. It will be the biggest mistake you’ve ever made you won’t receive your goods and because they're working from abroad you stand no chance of a refund neither. Believe me. Don’t end up like me.
Someone out there must be able to put a stop to this company doing what they do. They're a disgrace. Don’t be suckered into the good reviews you read. They will be lost leaders tempting you to buy. I know it’s only 100 pound but how many people like me who have lost even more. I don’t know at present but I’ve been told to contact the international fraud squad. On the whole what you pay for is what you get and problems are more to do with suppliers. What really makes me angry with LightInTheBox is that once you buy advertising pop ups occur online, distracting and luring... In particular a dress that I have on wish list appears heavily discounted, great I think so I click on it and nope still the same price, this has been going on now for several weeks. There is nowhere that you can go about this with LightInTheBox, they definitely don't want to hear from you. They just want you to buy from them. It is a complete con wasting your time in the hope you may buy it anyway or see something else. It can't be legal. So if this has happened to you write a review somewhere. It is the only way we can do something about it.

I did receive my items today and they were fabulous! I feel bad that I wasn't more patient but I was just a bit frustrated that no one could tell me when I could expect to receive my package. If that would be the one thing I would change it would be a better tracking system for your items. Otherwise, I will definitely order from this place again and I am sorry that I was not more patient and I reacted too quickly to my state of frustration.

I placed my order on April 6 and was assured that it would take 3 to 5 business days once it was shipped. I really needed this order and was counting on the time frame I was told. The order shipped on the 15th of April and today is the 24th and I have not receive it as of today. I keep checking the tracking information but all it will tell me is that it shipped on the 15th. It won't tell me where it is or when it is scheduled to arrive. I live in Utah and it was shipped from Walnut Creek, CA so I would have assumed that it wouldn't take this long to get to the next state, unless they decided to walk it to Utah. I will never order from this place again, it is so frustrating when you can't get any answers from customer service or from the tracking information.

I purchased a dress for my daughter's shower. I was never asked my measurements but simply added my dress size. There was no description of the dress saying it was to be custom made. These clothes are made and shipped from China. When the dress arrived, it was not the US size I wear or as described. I couldn’t even fit my legs into it, let alone my body. I immediately requested to return the dress with tags and original packaging. They refused saying the dress was custom made, no refunds! Their website states guaranteed 2-week satisfaction. What a scam! This was NOT a custom made dress as they never requested my measurements!

The worst ever experience with this company. I ordered clothing to reach me by a certain date. I paid extra to have it shipped quickly. It never arrived, so many emails back and forth with no satisfaction. Then they said sorry and asked if I wanted a $20 refund which I accepted and never got it. They have ignored me ever since. I will never recommend them and will never order through them ever again. I finally got my order which was too late. I no longer needed it. The worst ever company and they did not care at all. My rating is a 0 out of 5.

The email said, "We could give you a 30% refund or you can sell it!" Really. Send me a poor quality product and then refuse to refund me and send me a message like this is unacceptable. I would never buy from this company again and would tell all customers to look at other ceded who are more reputable.

LightInTheBox was so quick to answer my situation but explaining to me that I purchased my item through Facebook and that was the reason why I did not get a confirmation E-mail. I returned the three piece dress to the warehouse address in Portland, Oregon as provided. The tracking indicates that the package was received on 3/27. I was told I would receive a refund to my account in 7 to 14 days. It is more than 14 days and I have not received the refund to my account. When will I receive the refund?

As today I cannot find my order, says I have no order on file. My credit card was charged on date shipped, still waiting, cannot find anything but I have a printed copy. I ordered 2 dresses from LightInTheBox.com for a dinner and dance ball; the dresses not only came late but they also looked completely different to the photos provided on the website. As my ball had been and gone I needed to send both the dresses back. However the website provides no way guidance on returns unless you already have an account with LightInTheBox, though when I bought the dresses I registered as a guest. The dresses were overpriced for what they were and the package did not contain a returns form. This goes against my consumer rights, as I have now lost my money. I tried to email the company but got no reply.

I placed an order and it was an absolute disaster. The items I ordered were in 24h picking and 3-5 business days of express expedited delivery with insurance. They canceled 1-2-3 items as after appeared out of stock and I had to replace them which again were out of stock. Then the ordered got delayed, never shipped and without a parcel tracking number. Over a month passed and I asked them for a refund and they are not returning the money as I have to reject a “missing” parcel. I wrote to them more than 15 times and typical response they cannot do anything unless the lost parcel is returned to them. I lost 300 euro with them. Order number number **.

For this reason, we had to choose another carrier that could transport the products to Malta.

I am not able to submit a return ticket. I have logged onto my account and have tried to return the item I purchased. The site will not let me submit my request - says my email is not verified but when I go to verify my email, it says an email has been sent, but I have never received the email even though I’ve requested it several times. I ordered a phone 8 days ago. Product page said processing time is 2 to 4 days. 8 days passed and order is still not shipped. I reached out on 3/26 to find out the status because my account showed it was "on time” with an estimated shipping date of March 21st but it still didn’t show as shipped. I was told that they would receive the dress in 3-5 business days. I checked back in yesterday and today and am getting no response now from customer service. I ordered 2 skirts in different sizes because I didn't know how their sizes would run because their measurements do not go with the sizes I'm used to. (I'm usually a small, but my measurements according to their chart at XL or XXL.) Neither skirt fit... Both too big. Tried every which way I could find to contact them regarding returning. (There was in explaining return either.) Finally one request made it through. They gave me a ticket number, I filled it out and pressed "Submit". But it showed an error message and kept "Processing". After ordering the product online and paying for it with my PayPal account the shipping charges were then added on after payment had been made. These shipping charges were not shown anywhere prior to me submitting my payment for processing and only showed up after the initial price of the product had been completed. Then after the product was received I got hit with an additional customs duty charge of $32.77 which meant that the actual cost of the product with shipping charges was double the initial cost of the product.

I purchased 5 pairs of shoes from LITB and they arrived within the timescale stated. However they are too small and tight and I want to return all 5 pairs. It is not proving to be an easy process. I have to click on each of the 5 items individually and complete a form to say whether I want to return or a refund. Then I get an acknowledgment- then nothing for 2 days. I have now repeated the process and have received emails saying that a ticket has already been issued. I really wanted to order two silver men's slim t-shirts, as I can't find them anywhere else. However, I'm very confused with the sizing. Here is an example of the sizing of one shirt (the other is similar). I nearly always wear a men's medium, and I'm a relatively small guy. However, the medium here "Fits US Size 36." What does that mean? A 36" chest/jacket size? Like I said, I am not a large man and I wear a 41" jacket size. What is the correct size to order? There is no customer service to contact with questions other than AFTER you place an order. I'm reluctant to place the order as I don't want to get two tiny shirts that I can't wear or two huge ones, and then face a complicated and expensive return policy.
Elsewhere the company has stated that they do not have a telephone contact because they need to document everything. I'm not sure why they can't record the conversations like every other company is starting to do. Google records all customer service calls and immediately transcribes them to text, available to all CSRs. Does anyone else have an experience in their sizing? I ordered 3 plus size dresses. I wear a 10-12. The dresses were about sizes 2-4 US sizes. Sent all back, 1 by itself. Then the other 2 when THEY FINALLY ARRIVED. I got 4 Return Authorization numbers for 3 dresses. So now they claim there were only 2 of the 3 returned. Of course, the 3rd was ALREADY RETURNED. They credited my account but I have to jump through hoops to get the credit from their site/my "account" back onto my credit card. Waste of time and money. I had to pay return shipping which was about $22.00. Sincerely do not recommend. The SORRY TOUR EXPERIENCE...blah blah comments to follow from company do not make up for the poor experience. I made a purchase in Dec for technical pants, lined, and they arrived about 3 weeks later. Decent quality at a good price. Ordered 2 dresses, same size. This one came 2 months after placing order. Too small and not material described on website. Second dress came a week later, same size, fit and as described on website. Requested refund on first dress due to sizing difference and material not as described on website. Told I would get refund and given return instructions and return codes....sent 2 day priority 3/1/19. Light In The Box Closed my ticket on March 8th without providing refund. I have spent 2 hours trying to send them an email from their website without any luck as my email isnt "verified" despite how many times I did "verify" it via their link. They immediately charged my credit card for the order, along with additional "foreign fees" and never provided the refund they agreed to via their website email due to dress specification being wrong.

I purchased a three piece formal dress for my son's wedding scheduled in June. When I ordered the dress, the website indicated you could order your size or you could provide your measurements and the dress would be a custom order and made to fit you. I did not order custom made because I knew it could not be returned. I received the dress in about three weeks and tried it on. The pants were too tight and the top was too big. I filled out a customer service ticket to return the dress and receive a refund. LightInTheBox will not let me return the dress for a refund because they said it is custom order. How can it be custom order when my measurements were not provided? Beware if you order anything from LightInTheBox and read everything on their website. They will not return your money and you cannot talk to a person. Correspondence is all thru email.

HI, I ordered 9 cycling jerseys and a biking skort for a work charity fundraiser triathlon for cancer research. I order the items in US Sizes and the order showed up with Asian Sizes and the wrong products. I got 3 tops and a cycling pants that I did not order. I have attached the pictures. I am returning 5 of the products and want a full refund. Only 2 out of 10 people were able to wear them on the day. We all spend a lot of time picking the right American sizes as we knew that the Asian sizes would be too small. Despite this we had Asian smalls, extra smalls and xxsmalls. I placed an order of 4 pieces of clothing for my wife on February 16 which totaled $46.07. I didn't notice the difference between processing time and shipping at first but was able to clear that up with customer service quickly. The order supposedly shipped on February 28 with an estimated 5-8 days shipping time... I have contacted customer service multiple times and have 3 separate tickets, all of which are marked closed or resolved...
Since it is now March 21 and I don't have my order, any tracking info after March 3, no replacement being processed, and no one that can tell me where my order is or why I don't have it... Lightinthebox.com stay away from. This siteneeds to be red flagged for not letting consumers know length of shipment times, and no contact number listed for service. If you do end up contacting them, you will get a response in Chinese. Ordered product several weeks ago for an upcoming vacation. An email stating our product has been shipped with a label for tracking created. Postal Service has yet to receive package. But when I contact by email the company (lightinthebox.com) they send it in Chinese and when I translate, they tell me to contact the shipping company.
They will even respond here on ConsumerAffairs and say I did not provide my order number so they cannot help and how sorry they are. But the fact is I have been in contact via Chinese email and cannot seem to get this resolved. Take my suggestion STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a dress for my granddaughter. I paid extra for 3-4 day delivery. It was delivered 8 days later and after the party. I refused delivery. Several messages later, I received a msg saying they're sorry about my refusal and that my ticket was "closed". No mention of "refund". I guess they're happy to keep the dress and my money. My only regret is that I used my Sam's credit card. A successful dispute is very unlikely if my previous experience is any indicator. So I've paid $39 for this education about Lightinthebox. This is the WORST ever. I ordered 3 items 2 dresses which I cancelled in 24 hours and they said I couldn’t cancel as were custom made and already in the work. I paid 80 extra for expedited shipping. As my event was in November. NO dresses. I did get shipped a bracelet which came broken but it was only 15 bucks so I just tossed it in the garbage. So I have been waiting. Re order number **. I have tried to resolve through LITB ticket system but they keep saying closed. Dress arrived, Different colour to picture. Now LITB won’t refund me. Very disappointed and expected better. They say they won’t refund as it’s made to order but they have not made this according to order as it’s the wrong colour. I placed an order on this website in late January 2019, with the knowledge the items would take a few weeks to arrive. I checked the tracking number of the parcel regularly but the only status update was on 29 Jan 2019 stating the goods have left Shanghai. Six weeks later I still haven't received the order. I contacted the customer service through my account and they said the parcel has been returned to sender, no other explanation. The two options they gave me were 1. pay for delivery again (12 euros) or 2. cancel the order and get a reimbursement BUT lose the delivery fees from and to China and 20% of the value of the goods (42 euros).
When I asked for further details on when delivery was attempted and why it failed, and what guarantees I had the second time would be successful the customer service just replied saying they are not responsible for the delivery, they are only a selling point and that I should check with my delivery service. I have had on average 20 deliveries per month made to my address for the last year and a half and zero problems with any of them. All my details on the LightInTheBox website are correct. The status of the parcel according to the tracking number is shown still as just having left Shanghai at the end of Jan. I have no proof that delivery was even attempted and the only communication I've had from the seller was the order confirmation on the day I made the payment, six weeks ago.
Under the circumstances - lack of updates from the seller, no proof that delivery was attempted, the unchanged tracking status, the fact the seller is declining all responsibility for ensuring the parcel reaches its destination, AND the very unsatisfactory solutions they offered to resolve the situation - I cannot help but feel that this is all a scam.

I will never buy through this website again! It is a joke. I placed my order a MONTH AGO and have still not received my package. My order confirmation says 3-5 days for shipping, their website says 5-8 days, and now when I messaged them they are telling me 6-14 days. Which is irrelevant, because even if it was 14 days, I would have already gotten my item. I have sent 13 complaints about my order and they haven't done anything to resolve my issue! Made orders over $100 and sent all screenshots of my card credentials (visa gift card) - so I thought okay, they need to check. After 3 weeks they cancelled ALL my order and left no reason for it. Only writing some generic replies to how to withdraw the money. On my account there was no balance available to withdraw so this is A SCAM - last time I have experience with the refund, I got it back to my card account normally. Here, you cannot get to customer support if you have a question and it is not related to 3 titles they offer you (refund, payment issues or cancel order). They never advised what was wrong nor why there is no money on my account to withdraw manually which is ridiculous since they are all automated but when they need to return the money, they force you to push buttons. I had placed approximately 5 pair of shoe orders with this company starting the first of January 2019, order confirmed and processed it seemed. I knew it would take some time, but it just stretched out for a long time, at least a month. After about a month, I submitted a ticket on said order asking where the shoes were? They got back to me telling me the shoe was not in stock and so refunded my money.
I was okay with that because it does happen at times, even though it showed on the website it was in stock and gave me no indication they were out of that shoe. But when I found additional shoes I liked and tried to order, the same thing happened. I would wait and wait for them to process and then never got shipped and never finished processing Each time I submitted a ticket to find out where the shoes were. Again, 3 more pairs of shoes were cancelled due to being out of stock but did not show that way on the website. Each time, after they cancelled my order, they explained they were out of stock and would not have them for a period of time but would and did give me a complete refund.
I complained to them that they should update their inventory daily so that people are not ordering items that are already out of stock but showing as in stock on the website. This is unacceptable. I told them I would not order from them again, because with almost every order, and there were several, they cancelled each and every one of them except for one. It isn't worth it to me to go through this anymore when I know I probably won't be able to get the shoes I ordered. Think twice before you order any shoes from them. Most likely, they will not be in stock even though they might show on the website as in stock. It's not worth it.

I originally ordered a mirrored phone case; however, I chose the wrong shipping option (free) which included no tracking. On the 10th February last I ordered two items that were advertised on Instagram and paid priority delivery at checkout which said they would be delivered in 3-4 working days. I Ordered A STY3 Smartwatch From LightInTheBox on February 25, 2019. It took until March 01, 2019 to put in a box. When I ordered it said shipped within 24 hr. At checkout it said 4 to 6 days for deliver and then after check out 1 to 9 more days. So I get a Customer Service ticket they tell me to, "Check your order progress and give me a Tracking Number," but it says this number can't be found at this moment. It's not available in the carrier's system and after 9 days they tell me It will arrive in 4-9 business days. So needless to say I would never recommend buying from LightInTheBox. I had seen the beautiful dresses made to size on the LightInTheBox website and had been tempted to buy one. However I thought I would be cautious and brought a coat in the sale instead. The price went from £13 to £30. This included delivery and tax. The estimated time for delivery was Wednesday. When I had paid off the duty and VAT I was sent a message on Monday at 09:22 that it would be delivered by the end of day. The coat arrived 10:22 in the morning and luckily there was someone to receive it. The faux fur coat kept coming off, falling everywhere and the sleeves were made for a child. I have sent emails to close my account, as I would not be buying from them in the future. I haven't had a response apart from LightInThe Box adverts.

Hello there. I have ordered on 18.10.2018 2 quadcopters with the insurance which set my price to 98,27€. When I check the order it was for 1 month in local customs, but I have never receive from them any letter to my delivery address in Slovakia. Then the package was sent back to the company. Since then I have not in my account that order and still receiving e-mails from company that I have to wait till you receive the package and you will refund my order. Updated on 03/03/2019: I've been chasing a refund since October & wrote a review here. Their response to my review didn't work & I can't contact him! In his response he said to please contact him, but he didn't provide info to do so. However, I tried to contact anyone there on Facebook messaging & 2 places on their website without any response. When they say they refunded my $ in October, it was done internally & apparently should show up on their website under 'refunds & credits' but every time I go there it says 'not available'. They've instructed me to go there 4 times & each time I told them the same that it isn't there & their process doesn't work. I don't know why they just don't process the refund themselves since I can't seem to do it!!!
Original Review: I ordered a 3XL T shirt that was obviously only XL when it arrived. Although, it was their error they did not offer a full refund. I sent the shirt back & provided them the tracking number. They still didn't refund my $. I contacted them a month later & they acknowledged they received it, but a month later still didn't refund the $. I contacted them a couple of weeks ago & they sent me 3 step instructions to get my refund. Step failed. They took almost a week to respond to the step. They asked for my email address to refund to PayPal. Then they said sorry, they need my PayPal account, but weren't specific about the info they needed. Now they respond "They are currently contacting the corresponding department to verify for you. Once we receive your response, we will provide a solution to solve this problem. We will get in touch with you in the next 3-5 business days." I should have received my refund months ago!!! Order #**.

Hi, all. My name is John and I live in the DR Congo, on 12th February I purchased goods from the online store LightInTheBox, it was 5 items. I chose the 3 to 4 working day deliver services I paid and I was given the date my will arrive. The next day I was told that due to their shipping policy they are allowed to ship goods separately, I saw no harm in that. My first item arrived on the 26th of Feb, then I was told that the other within few days. Afterwards on 27th I was sent a tracking number with DHL, when I tried to track the item I was told that the item was returned to sender because of wrong address. The same item then was given a new tracking number with Dutch PostNL but every time I try to track these items their system says that the number can’t be found. Can you help please?

Updated on 03/13/2019: They have not returned my postage costs after 4 months of false promises and lies. They are still lying about return my money back. They offered me for their debts (EUR 13) Current watch 8262, diameter 52mm, (interesting to me) at a very high price of $41,99. I should pay to them a difference in price after 4 months waiting for give me the money back. Are they normal people? I not want pay a difference in price because I can buy that watch for refund (EUR 13) on eBay. The watch on eBay costs only $18,49. They are the most expensive online seller, but they are the best liars and a fraudsters on the online buy. If you to buy at MiniinTheBox you will buy the most expensive and worst goods with the best of lies and the best cheat. After the complaint they never will not return your money to you (maybe a part after 4-6 months and 1500-2000 emails if you are lucky). I will never business with them again.
Original Review: 2018-10-1 for incorrectly delivered male watch (false description) I filed a complaint and returned the watch to MinilnTheBox according to their instructions. In communication with them, 2018-10-31 they promised refund the money for the watch and for postal charges and they closed the complaint page. I could no longer communicate with them. By 2019-2-25 I did not get the promised money. After establishing my contact with them via Trustpilot, they started to lie again and they returned part of the money. They still promise and lie, lie, lie...and they do not return all the money. If I have not managed to contact them through Trustpilot, they would never return the money. Customers cannot establish communications with them when they close the complaint. They keep money from customers. It's theft.

I ordered a bike seat cover and a pair of bike handle grips to match the color of my bike on Feb. 3rd 2019. I live in Florida; Today is Feb. 24 and I have not received a single item. RUN!!! Light/Drop/Mini in the Box...are all Light in the Box. Horrible experience. To make a long story short: They give you a processing time that is significantly off. Items may take anywhere from 2-5 times longer to receive than stated. If you want to cancel your order because it won't arrive in time for some event (birthday, prom, ball, party, etc.), then they try to charge you a handling fee. I fought the handling fee and they said they would refund the full amount of items that had not been sent and cancel those items. The amount refunded was only for shoes.
There are occasions when it is appropriate for a business to register more than one domain name, but in my experience it is often to hide bad reviews that are connected to other domain names. Based on my research, this appears to be the case with Light in the Box, also DBA as Mini in the Box which has 150 complaints with the BBB. This number will soon be 151. Based on research through domaineye.com they have two other domains: miniinthebox.com and dropinthebox.com.

I ordered and paid on the 10th of Feb for items to wear to a party for a group of people. I need it by the 1st of March and upon checking my order, I see that it is still pending??? 48 days ago I paid LightInTheBox. I sent my proof of purchase as instructed and they still haven’t sent out my purchase. I checked with my bank who confirm they have received the payment yet the customer service department keep saying it’s not been received. I’ve asked them to check and I get nothing but a word line reply. They don’t answer any of my questions. My nieces didn’t get their birthday present because of the incompetence of this company. I still don’t have a way to resolve this as the customer service are so incompetent. THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER USED, SO FED UP.

I purchased this product on Jan 10, It was billed on the 11th. Took 7 days to got to packing status. Then was shipped on Jan 19th. Now it is Feb 18th and it has not been received and it still show as not found in tracking. This is disgraceful that this company wants me to believe that this is acceptable. There is nowhere that I believe that it takes a month to ship a small package. In addition, when they sent me an email to confirm shipment of the item and write a review. Ordered 3 little girl dresses. These will be the dresses that the flower girl and bridesmaids will be wearing in my wedding. The dresses do not fit and I need to return them. And was going to reorder closer to my wedding date. I absolutely love the dresses. They are adorable. I have been trying to get a return authorization for 5 days now with no luck. When I try to make a ticket it says my email needs to be confirmed. When I click on the button to send me the confirmation email again, I get nothing. So I guess I am stuck with 3 dresses because it is going to hit my 14 days return limit. I will be looking elsewhere for my dresses. I really hate that because I do love these dresses. I wish I would have seen the reviews on this company before I ordered. :-(

My package estimated shipping time for my order was Feb 4th, on the 6th I had opened a ticket up looking for an answer to why it wasn't shipped. I am still waiting and it's now the 13th. My first ticket had said my package will be sent on Feb 3rd even though it was past that date. Now I'm receiving phone calls to my home about fraud alerts of my card being charged 300 and then 1000 dollars at 7am in the morning. If this isn't resolved I'm reporting this to the Anti-Fraud Centre after contacting my bank.

I have ordered two lights at LightInTheBox for a total of 423,- Euros. Shipping took far longer than what was stated on the website. One light I received was damaged with scratches all over it. The other light only half of the parts were delivered. So I couldn't use any of them. After long discussions with the customer support I sent the packages back. They wanted proof of the damages and missing parts etc. I could feel they are trying to delay the refund. I sent the package to Poland, their European warehouse. You need to pay the shipping costs yourself. After the package arrived there I received a refund for one light. Their customer support said I had send back only one light which is a lie. They only sent me half of the parts for the second light, so that was what I had send back. Keep away from this page. They are trying to cheat.

Hello. I can in all honesty say that buying from LightInTheBox has been the worst retail experience ever. I should be able to email customer service without going through a zillion steps, I bought 3 dresses that took a very long time to arrive, returned 2 that did not fit. Paid more than $20 to have it returned with the order nr as instructed. It has been more than 40 d - no reply from them. Every step of dealing with them had been impossible. The post office clerk knows this co for being impossible to deal with and told me most buyers just don't return items. I hope this co will respond now. You should not be an online store and you should change the way you deal with returns.

I purchased Hair extension a couple years ago and it was a smooth transaction. I got my product within the time frame expected and I was happy with the quality of the product. I just ordered a wedding dress and other accessories and after reading a lot of the negative feedback from other customers, I'm very nervous that I will not get my order on time and the measurements will not be followed as I stated. I'd need to get reassurance from a manager that I have nothing to worry about and my order will be correct and on time. I'm very tempted to cancel my entire order. I'd appreciate a response.

I ordered two mobile phones from LightInTheBox to United Kingdom, but I am really disappointed about my orders. Package has returned because of custom duties (not my fault) but they deducted my refund money totally %30 of my orders cost. They said this was shipping fee. Come on, This is shame. How come that shipping fee is %30 my orders price? Unbelievable. Stay away, and think carefully when you want to order something from there. Not recommended.

BEWARE! BEWARE!! YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER HIGH FEE TO RECEIVE YOUR ITEM. I can't reach anyone regarding my last order. I can't validate my email address because I signed up with Facebook but they told me it wasn't a problem but now I can't send a message for a completed order. The quality is ok but when you take the shipping cost and the SURPRISE DHL customs cost payable on delivery into consideration, I could have bought a better quality pair of shoes here in Canada locally. Mine do not fit.
I ordered my correct size but these are really large around the ankle and don't offer proper support. You can injure your ankle during spins with these boots. I was about to place another order just hours before these arrived and I am glad I waited to order because like I said I was not impressed with the extra customs fee. This means I paid for the shoes, then shipping and then the surprise customs fee upon delivery, I would not order again.
UPDATE January 29, 2019 - I was told I had some sort of insurance for duty and that I would receive a refund, It is given to you in a form of credit and I think you can ask for it to be returned by your method of payment. I am in the process of doing this and I believe it will take up to 30 days to get my funds back on my credit card FOR THE DUTY FEE ONLY. Just a WARNING that on top of your original shipping YOU WILL be asked to pay duty by courier upon delivery. If the product does not fit you will have to pay shipping back to China. At the moment I am still out the cost of my shoes that don't fit. I am out the cost of the original shipping fee to Canada. I am out of the duty I had to pay and...I will now be out the cost to ship them back.
I am going to follow through with the process to see if I get anything back. They even went as far as trying to tell me my shoes were custom made to avoid what the promise return/refund. I am fortunate enough to financially be able to go through this process but I know that some people shop online to save money and cannot afford to follow through. To be honest I found my shoes locally and still saved money had I not shopped on this LightInTheBox site.

I have ordered dance shoes in the past and had to return product for either getting kids' sizes or wrong sizes, etc. This time I ordered, the shoes were double the price I usually pay and they came and didn't fit. I ended up requesting a return of everything I purchased and am told that all items were made to order and thus not returnable! I'm not sure how they were made to order, I selected size and color as usual, but am told I can get 30 pct off if I reorder the shoes!!! So I spent 80.00 and I have to order them again. There is no bargain if I have to order and reorder and I'm requesting the size I wear and they don't fit. The last time I returned product, jumped through the hoops, took pictures of my box and they said items were missing from the box. I guess I didn't learn the first time.

I placed my order and paid for it through Western Union on the 14 of December at 13:52 pm. My order status is still not completed, though it's been more than a month. I have even sent a picture of the receipt I was given after making the payment, ask requested by customer service. The company claims to not have received my payment yet, but I have contacted Western Union who ensured me the transaction has been completed. I ordered 4 items today with a shipping time of 6-14 days. The estimated shipping date is now the end of February 2/28/19. This is extremely misleading - I needed the items for an upcoming event and paid for the expedited shipping. I've submitted a ticket to cancel the order as there is no contact phone number, but what I have read on other reviews indicates I likely won't be seeing my money or items any time soon. Total scam.

I have made online shopping several time with Chinese online sellers. LightInTheBox satisfied me in terms of shipping time and how they package the product. Other sellers' delivery estimate for register posting start 18 to 45 days but things are different with LightInTheBox with 10-18 days. I ordered a mobile phone from LightInTheBox and it took 13 days to reach me. However there were end-year holidays, better enough the item was as described. First of all you have to know they have fake reviews - they pay people to put positive feedback. My experiences: I ordered but never received my package. Ordered in November and now we are in January. I paid a lot of money think the delivery will be faster. Apparently my ordered was stuck for clearance and if I wanted to get it I had to pay almost the price I had already paid. I’m really disappointed. The package has been sent back to them but they didn't give me back my money. Do not order on this website.
I ordered a dress for my sister prom in Chile. The product I have ordered arrived but do not look at all like what is on the website. The material was completely crap. Everything. So hopefully my sister had something else to wear. She had a plan B as the delivery was really slow even though we have paid super fast to have a fast delivery. They refuse to give us back our money. One star because the system here doesn't allow for 0 stars. I placed a simple order, 5 items in total. All of which were labeled with a process time of 6 days or less, and I had a choice of shipment methods. After placing the order the status was marked as "Processing”. Apparently this is while they do their quality check and prepare it for shipping. Seriously, 6 days? Amazon is the benchmark for ecom, LightinTheBox is streets behind. Even with a 6 day "Processing" time they missed their shipping date of Jan 15th and when pushed responded with a new date 2 days later stating that the goods would be "shipped no later than Jan 17th".
They missed the new date and still with the status of Processing. After reading a lot of comments and reviews on this company it seems like I'm definitely not alone with this kind of experience and I have now canceled the order. I'm waiting to see if they honor their cancelation policy of a full refund if the order is in the "Processing" stage. Back to Amazon for me, you can trust Amazon.

I ordered from lightinthebox.com and the item was shipped November 30, 2018. When I clicked on the shipping, they plainly tell everyone the shipping may take 20 to 30 days, but in some cases no longer than 40 days. As you see it has been close to 50 days now, so I submitted a ticket, and I was expecting a refund, but to my surprise the response I got was, I would have to wait until the end of January, making the time now 60 days! Nowhere was it listed about 60 days. The information listed on their website under the shipping times is there for customers to review, so they can decide whether they want to wait or not, so by refusing to refund my money, Lightinthebox has decided to go against what they have listed, and tell me I have to wait even longer now! This is very misleading!
60 days is a lot longer than the ridiculous time already of 40 days, and my guess is instead of they posting up to 60 days to deliver, and take a chance on so many more people not wanting to wait that long, and deciding not to place their orders, and simply post a maximum 40 day shipping time, and more people are likely to decide to order, and if customers complain, they can just tell them what they told me, now I must wait 20 days longer! That is 1 day short of 3 weeks! Why? Because I already paid you. Yes you have my money so now it's time to stall, and delay! I'm like the last complainant I seen. I am not going to just let this ride. I have placed several orders from their website, but if this is how they want to treat their customers I will delete their App from my phone, and never shop there again! This is ridiculous!

I ordered a jacket size 3XL. It was much too small. Returning it was too expensive so I sold it to a friend. The woman at the post office told me she was well aware of problems with sizes from Chinese companies. However being an optimist, I then ordered another jacket size 5XL. It wasn't any larger than the first. Their website gave the bust measurement as 49.5 inches. The jacket measured 42 inches. The jackets themselves were very good quality. I have two friends that have lovely jackets but I won't be shopping here again.

Someone made a fraudulent transaction on my debit card to purchase a $1.2k Singapore dollars on LightInTheBox.com website on 12/1/18 around 2am. How I know? I've called my bank and they gave me the information. I've been emailing and trying to get in touch with LightInTheBox.com as I want them to cancel or don't claim the money for the transaction as the transaction was approved but pending as confirmed with my bank. That means LightInTheBox have not claim the money yet as it is over the weekend. These are the 3 transaction references 1) **, 2) **, 3) **. I contacted customer service requesting a refund and they wrote back that I will receive a refund if I hadn't received the package by Jan 6th 2019. Now they don't want to give me a refund but instead they ask that I be patient and wait until 01/20/2019, they keep pushing the date for a refund. They also informed me that, they have contacted the postal service to speed up delivery which is just ridiculous. I have all correspondence from customer service in writing.

This company is an absolute joke. If I had realised what I know now I wouldn’t have contemplated even going near their site. Firstly no phone number so you rely on emails. Anyway I purchased 5 LED bulbs and were dispatched 2/12/18 with a 8 to 14 business day delivery date on my receipt. After a month had passed I contacted them but was told 30 business days was the delivery date. Then after 30 business days I was told to contact my post office and the wait could be 90 days. Are we for real here. We are talking a light bulb. I have requested a refund but have been refused. This company is a joke. By the way order number is **.

Ordered slipcovers for 2 couches - proper size chosen based on their sizing options however both were sewn with armrest sections going diagonally through towards the middle of the couches and twisted. No possible way to put on the couches. LED light strip missing a plug - what am I supposed to do with that? Dance mat came with a warped CD so couldn't give this as a Christmas gift and am stuck with something else from them that is dysfunctional. Glow in the dark shoelaces that DON'T glow in the dark. To make things worse I paid $69 Cdn for expedited shipment (2-5 days) but received it more like 20 days later. Attempted to dispute this via electronic ticket. They said they'd return this fee, which I have yet to see the refund, however it took them 1 day to process my credit card payment! Then I find out I have to pay $45 in Custom fees!
Now the return process. Nowhere can you contact their customer service except through their electronic ticket service. And you have to submit photos of the items in order to submit otherwise your ticket will not be submitted. Must repeat this ticket process for each item separately. Have done 1 so far and it seems as though it froze after I pressed the submit button as it still says it's processing 45 min later! Not sure how the picture of the glow in the dark shoelaces will fare in the dark since they don't glow! This whole ordeal has been so frustrating thanks to their customer service (or lack thereof) and I feel like all LightInTheBox sends are damaged, useless, defective products. Definitely would recommend!

Awful, awful website. They are not UK based so you have no recourse. I ordered an item which they cancelled two weeks later. They advised me they had refunded my money, but what they don’t tell you that it is refunded to your LightInTheBox account. After a couple of weeks, I got in touch with them again and they said I had to request a withdrawal. They approved it and said they had refunded the money. It is now three weeks after they apparently refunded my money. They say the delay is due to transfers across intercontinental banking and that I should expect to have to wait a further six weeks! Didn’t take that long for them to take the money out of my account did it?? Effectively they have stolen my money. I don’t expect to receive a refund now, a month in and can only plea with people not to keep a bunch of sharks like this in business. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

This is just the beginning. I'm taking this viral. I have never experienced anything like this. I blame myself a little for not reading the reviews 1st. I placed my order on Nov. 21. Order status states is shipped on Nov. 25. By mid December I contacted them to find out where my package is. The order # is **. They assured me I would receive it by 1/1/19. Well here we are at 1/5/2019 and nothing. I opened a ticket and now they tell me... Get this... They want me to wait 3 more months!!! What??? I'm so done. We need a new word for it. This is unbelievable to me. I have ordered many items from overseas and never had anything remotely like this happen. They constantly ask you to be patient. I'm at my limit. I asked for a refund. I would NOT recommend the Maleficent costume from Light in the Box. I wore it to a Halloween party and the seams came undone while I was wearing it. I am a size 4 and ordered a medium so it was not tight fitting. Thank goodness I had a shirt and leggings under it because that is all I was wearing by the end of the night. I threw the costume in the trash at the party host's house. This was a "stand around" party... No dancing or doing anything that might stress the seams. TERRIBLY made item! DO NOT BUY!

I was aware of the store through a Telegram group, who recommended LightInTheBox. Initially, I was reluctant to buy, especially distrusting the insurance for taxes and fees, imagining that the store would put a lot of difficulties in reimbursing the values that could possibly have in the customs. To my grateful surprise the store promptly sent the product that well packaged and in perfect condition. I had to send my 3d printer back for RMA. It took 2 weeks to finally get a return label. Then another 2 weeks to get a status of my return and they said they will no longer stock that item. My options were to buy something else or get a full refund. I requested a full refund and now they deleted all my customer support cases showing my return history. I'm not sure if this is a system glitch but seems very shady, especially seeing a lot of reviews of them charging and not shipping items. I'm hopeful PayPal will help but I would stay away from this company at all costs. I rather spend the extra money elsewhere.

Yet again problems. Yet again problems with this "online shop". I ordered two different orders, paid for with credit card and the payments both cleared (ordered 25 & 30 December and paid for) but still they have not sent my items yet. So that means that when you order something, it will not be sent for another week, even though you have paid. I contacted them and was told that both orders should be sent on the 8th. If not, I should contact them again. Let me give you all an advice... Stay away from this shop. Every order, I had to contact them for one reason or the other. They are NOT worth it. Do avoid.

My Halloween costume which I ordered for a party was delivered after the party, it took much longer than the time they said. If you want to return an item, forget it! The soul destroying, convoluted returns process is designed to make customers give up or risk a nervous breakdown. After a great deal of wasted time I eventually received a returns form (felt like I was finally getting somewhere), despatched Item following all instructions to the letter by registered post to a depot in Poland, where I know it arrived the first week of December. My purchase was a throw, which cost 88.18 euro plus a further 40 euro to return. Now I have no throw, no refund and no way to contact LightInTheBox, unless I take yet another ticket and go through the whole horrible returns process again. Bizarrely, this process does not allow you to continue without submitting photos of item too. How am I supposed to do that? When I log onto the website, it says my issue has been resolved. This is not true. My ticket number is **. Perhaps LightInTheBox would care to respond?

I have bought a number of items through this company. They have massive and hugely varied selection of items. I have bought times such as wall art right through to car stereos and even a tiara. On very single occasion that I have contact with LightInTheBox they are amazing. Super friendly and helpful staff are available and I have found all intersections to be great. Even if I needed a refund due to my own error with one of my orders, there was no issue and my money was refunded quickly. I ordered the HomTom S9 Plus smartphone for $139 + shipping $10. Tracking info was good during the waiting period as it comes from Hong Kong. This is the lowest price I could find anywhere. It works fine with my MINT Mobile service and with the 4G network, 4G RAM 64GB it should never have an issue with too many apps. I enjoy the larger screen size and so far have no issues, battery life is really good. Camera nothing to brag about but ok. I wish it had the newer C type charger port rather than the old micro USB. But it works fine with my existing chargers. I have not been able to find a good bump proof case other than the one included. Nice it has a screen protector preinstalled. Overall very pleased.

I placed an order on Nov 7 for a feathered cape that I wanted wear for New Year’s Eve. My payment was processed almost immediately, but I never received my cape. All tracking info says it’s being processed in China (for a month now) and their customer service keeps telling me to check with my local post office, which I have several times. Ordered a drone for a Xmas gift at the end of November. It arrived 31st December but wasn't delivered due to a customs and handling fee being required. Nowhere on the site did it mention that the thing even came from abroad or that there would be anything more to pay. So it missed Christmas and is sitting at the Post Office until I take it up with the company as to what they are going to do about refunding me. I ordered something as a Christmas present and despite the site indicating it would be with me in a couple of days, it took 10 business days, missing Christmas. Please be realistic with shipping timelines before the order is paid for, rather than after paying, informing nearly a week later of the new timelines. I also keep getting spammed with promotional emails from them and no matter how many times I unsubscribe or update my email preferences, I continue being spammed. I never signed up for these mails and have tried to find a customer email to request removing me from the mailing list and it’s impossible to find.
The promotional emails are “no reply” and on the “contact us” page has is a blurb about contacting them but has no contact details!! It’s incredibly frustrating as a consumer experience when retailers try complicate the customer support process. It also feels very unprofessional and suspicious in my opinion and is the quickest way to lose my custom.

I ordered and all clothes were too tight. I want to return, but like others have stated here, you cannot return if you do not have a confirmed email address with them. They keep saying you can return items, but first update your email, but you can't. It is the SAME EMAIL THEY KEEP SENDING ME JUNK MAIL. When you try to confirm your email they will not send you the email from them to confirm. And there is no way to directly email them about a problem. I believe they are purposely making it so you cannot return items to China while making it look like they really want you to. Order also took about a month to arrive. I have purchased several clothings from LightInTheBox. I have tried to return them. They answered me only once to my message and even though I explained that the sizes did not fit or they were the same clothing, they refused to allow me to return them. I ordered 3 wigs on May 24, 2018 from the company. 1 was too small, 1 wasn't the same I ordered shown in the pictures and the other 1 was okay. I told customer service I wanted to return 2 of them but they refused to answer my emails back and sent bad links that didn't work that were supposed to be for a return label. Then I opened a dispute with PayPal and LightInTheBox ignored it. So I escalated it to a claim. PayPal told me to return it all to the location in Nevada. The person that signed for it signed it with an unreadable signature and partial address. The postal service delivery person forgot to change his scanner zip code so it looks like the final delivery went to the wrong place when it didn't so PayPal refused to refund me my money and denied my claim 3 times because they only use tracking that shows online to verify proof of delivery. I even gave them all the proof but PayPal still refused.
I left a message for the guy that signed it but he ignored me. I filed a police report about the company employee. I have filed a federal complaint against PayPal for not accepting my receipt that shows I shipped it to the right address, for not accepting the postal service letter acknowledging the mistake and confirming it was delivered and signed for, my proof of signature and for not following their own buyers guarantee policy. LightInTheBox isn't a good company to order from. I have seen numerous unresolved complaints and I'm hoping a consumer class action lawsuit will be opened against them. I have filed a federal complaint against the company and PayPal. They have terrible customer with no number to call and terrible email customer service. They do that so situations like mine are never resolved.

Duty charges were applied after I had already paid for delivery and insurance when ordering and package was late. Total scam! Very disappointed that I got an email after 22 days since purchase saying it could take up to 30 days. I feel I was lured into a false sale. So it took 22 days for them to tell me it was late after I'd reported it. My Halloween party had passed so the wig is useless and package requires a duty payment and collection from halfway across the city. I couldn't afford to pay the duty at my post office so the package was never collected.
They originally say 2-5 days processing and 5-10 days delivery when you order but you have to read the small print to find out it could take a further 30 days after dispatch. There can also be duty charges so they request that you pay insurance when you purchase which I did. But I could not afford the extra duty charge, they claim this could be repaid but you have to log a complaint to get it reimbursed. Didn't feel like a real company at all. The contact is nonexistent and tracking the package was impossible with the link provided. I would not order from them again. I'd rather pay more and get a full service which is delivered to my door.

On Nov. 1, 2018, I purchased an Mx10 Tv Box. On Nov. 24, 2018, I reported the item defective. On Nov. 25, 2018, Customer Service indicated that I would receive technical support within 1-3 days. On Nov. 27, 2018, I again requested support through Customer Service. On Nov. 28, 2018, Silvia in Customer Service indicated that she was still waiting for a response from an unidentifiable department.
On Dec. 7, 2018. I requested contact information for Silvia’s Supervisor in Customer Service. No response. On Dec 8, 2018, Fabio failed to provide shipping return information. On Dec 9, 10, 11 and 12, no shipping return or refund information provided. Lightinthebox stole my money. The company has no phone support. The rest of the goods I ordered were of poor quality and included a watch, Bluetooth keyboard and travel adaptors. Do not expect any service or the ability to obtain technical support if you receive a defective item.

This review is my honest and unbiased opinion about my shopping experience with LightInTheBox. I have been shopping with them for over 4 years and I have had only great experiences. I have purchased hair extensions, duvet sets, household decors both interior and exterior and the list goes on. I have never received anything that wasn’t quality. I must say their beddings are the best quality. I shop with many popular sites and their items are more satisfying. I really appreciate how fast their customer service team responds quickly to any tickets I have opened and if for example an item was late for delivery or out of stock they communicate with me and resolve any issues or questions I had.
The only thing I believe they need to work on is the processing time for certain items, even though I believe this is something that is really dependent on the suppliers. Shipping is usually fast and if you pay in advance for customs and duty fees with them and for some reason you’re charged more, they usually refund you the difference in amount. In conclusion I believe online shoppers should choose them. Am sure you will be satisfied.

Ordered an excellent swimwear. 26 dollars. Then DHL present me with a bill of 22 dollars, of which 10$ is processing costs. And LightintheBox does not tell us before we reach payment that this is going to cost. Shipping costs can be estimated, but no duties or processing costs, that it the silly 10$ just to present the piece to Customs.

I ordered a garment on 13th October and I'm still waiting. When I tracked my order it's apparently been returned to sender. I've been in touch with LightInTheBox and they suggested I fill out a returns/exchange form, which is useless to me as I never received my order in the first place so how can I return it? As of today they are no help. I've asked for a refund but it's like hitting my head up against a brick wall. I should have read the reviews before I ordered from this company. Never again.

Ordered some led lights. Took 6 weeks to arrive. Had to pay customs charges which took 4 weeks to be paid back. Lights are faulty. Want a refund but have to pay return postage and wait for this to be refunded which I am unhappy about as I don't want to lose any more money. I have been asking to make a formal complaint but customer services continue to ignore me. If I just wanted to return the item I could understand paying the return charges but as the items are faulty I do not feel I should incur additional charges. Appalling customer service. I just want my money back.

I tried multiple times to order 3 items and finally on the 22nd November managed to process the order and they took payment. However because the 3 items I ordered were also still sitting in my basket they kept sending emails asking me to complete my order. Then I received a confirmation and received an offer for the same items at AED218.17 less on the 28th November the same day as they completed my original order and I kept sending them messages asking them to refund the difference. However all I got was a standard automated response relating to customs which had nothing to do with the order - despite numerous requests I still haven’t received a response and indeed still haven’t received the items - worst online retail experience I have had to date.

In last few months I have purchased many items for my road bike and cycling clothing. The products are good quality and stylish. Communication with customer service is great and prompt. If any issue occurs like exchange of product they cooperate to my full satisfaction. The only expectation of improvement is timely delivery of items, however they come from China in transition through many couriers and it might create some delays. I ordered a tap from this website a week ago and still waiting on delivery. I called Royal Shipments as there was a tracking code which states it is stuck in transit for the past 6 days. They said they would get back to me in two hours however nobody called me or sent an email to update me on the situation. I called them again to speak to a Polish lady with poor English saying that it has been with DPD Ireland and gave me a tracking number. I called DPD Ireland and they said that they did not receive anything from Poland and told me to get back to the primary wholesaler. I have been on the phone the whole day to speak to someone however nobody seems to be answering my call! This is the worst website and service. I will never be using it again or recommending this website to anyone!

I like especially the electronic products offered by LightInTheBox. I like that for each product several types of shipping is available. The killer feature is tax and customs duty insurance. I used it twice and in both cases got a refund from LightInTheBox. I also appreciate helpful and fast customer support. I was also surprised that the support is provided in quite many languages. I am satisfied and I can only recommend. I would appreciate more detailed description of some products (although description of others is great) and better filtering based on features of the products (especially because there are usually plenty of products of same type).

I ordered item for a wedding from this site. I paid extra money for expedited delivery (2 - 5 business days) as I needed the item within this time. But the order was not even dispatched by this time. Hence, the site took my money for expedited delivery but never fulfilled their obligation. I contacted the site, and customer service said that I can cancel the order but this will incur charges. I ordered items for my wedding from this site. The delivery stated that it takes about 20 to 30 days. I ordered in Oct for my Dec wedding. It's Dec and I still haven't received the package. Customer service now says I should get it by Jan 2019. What am I going to do with wedding item in Jan. I should have read the reviews before purchasing the items. I ordered online for some Led... Few days after order (and took my money) they came back to me to say they can't ship them... Since then I asked reimbursement on my credit card... When purchasing from LightInTheBox.com you are able to expedite your package like most online stores but what they don't tell you is they strictly mean 2-4 for it to be packaged. Not only was it not even packaged within my requested (and paid for) timeline but the actual delivery is going to take a month. If this had be made fully clear to me, I would have be okay with waiting, I'm not an impatient person but I needed this item by a certain date which is why I chose this site and paid more money for it. I truly hope they either rephrase their expedited express to a true statement or get shut down for false advertisement. I would have loved to have this conversation with a CSR to see if I couldn't find a solution but you can't. It doesn't exist until you get said product and then a whole new hassle begins.
