    Yesterday I ordered something for secret Santa. After few hours that I didn't receive any email confirming my order, I decided to cancel to order and they opened a ticket for me. No one contacted me about the cancellation, instead they have sent me an email saying that the order has been shipped which isn't even true cause it's impossible to track the status of my order. Such a scam. Don't use this website at all. I also found what my friend wanted somewhere else and cheaper.

    The images on the shirts bear little to no resemblance to the pictures on their website. In addition, the shirts were weeks late. They do not have the shirt s in inventory, but rather have them screened somewhere in China after your order is placed, thus the delay. I wholeheartedly recommend that you look elsewhere for a quality shirt. If I thought I could get my $$$ back I would submit a claim, but that is highly doubtful.

    I purchased a capelet online. It came in a few weeks. The product is NOT a cape - it is a rectangular piece of fabric. It has NO closure, despite the pics on the website of it having a "hidden clasp." It also smells bad. I wanted to return, and they said that I could send it back to China but the cost may equal the price of the product (or be half of that price.) I opted to keep the product and get a 10% refund, which is ridiculous. I paid $61.xx for the entire purchase, including shipping. So I expect to get about $4.50 refund. I will dispose of this product, because no one would want it.

    This is a wonderful product, and looks spectacular on me. I love it, and intend to order more of them in the future. I would definitely recommend LightInTheBox to others, although the sizing on things is a bit dicey. You have to pay attention to the chest sizes carefully to get shirts that fit properly, rather than just L or XL being standard sizes.

    This is the second time I have ordered from LightInTheBox, I was very skeptical at first knowing that it was coming from overseas. My first order did take a little long but I understand that getting through customs can take a while. This order of two of the 3D printed shirts came very fast. The products I've ordered so far have been of good quality and have been thru multiple washings and have held up remarkably well. My 10 y/o son loves these clothes and wears them to school all the time. I will order from Light in the box again as my skepticism is no longer.

    Ordered a pair Woman's Dance Shoes, took a while to come. I didn't realized the company was in China! I ordered my size UK6/EU39. When they eventually arrived, they said they were this size but they were not! a 5-5 1/2. They were flimsy. When I contacted customer service I was advised as it would cost so much to return, I might like to sell them on to someone else and either get a 20% discount on another order or 10% back off the cost of the item,!!! Couldn't believe they said that. It was going to cost £8.95 to send back. The item was only £11.58 with £5.18 postage. On the packaging it had an address in Reading, UK, but said not to return it to this address, which must just be a forwarding address. So returning items is not an option. Will never buy from this company again... I have learned.

    Original: Ordered 2 tshirts on 4th Nov, they took the payment on the 5th Nov, promised that the Tshirts would be dispatched by 14th Nov at latest, now 18th still no dispatch, after numerous complaints no excuses coming. No supervisor answers after requesting one. The company are just scammers. This outfit should be closed down. Have informed them I will be requesting my moneyback via PAYPAL.. Appalling service!!

    Original review: The Company LightInTheBox. @lightinthebox · Retail Company - does not keep its term and conditions and internal policies. Please, all who purchase on-line be aware that they do not do refund on your order if it is cancelled within 24 hours how it is stated in their Terms and Conditions and their website. I cancelled my order in 10 min after placing it due to a mistake, as it was not possible to to edit/correct the order and it was processed by the Company without taking into consideration my cancellation and againtst Company policy, despite the assurance provided on their website that they do full refund if the order is cancelled within 24 hours. They waste my time, so I need now to raise a dispute by authorising my Bank to deal with the dispute. Thank God, I paid with the Credit Card. Be CAREFUL and do not order, try another Company - more reputable.

    Agree with Taboho, they don't even deserve one star. Took over two months, 25 messages and several emails to get a refund for a purchase that I tried to cancel, and even then didn't get 100% back and not all to my credit card. I tried to cancel immediately, which in theory was acceptable in accordance with their policy (as ordered male instead of female item in error) but their system wasn't working so they shipped it anyway. I had to return it (going to the post office etc.) and claim my money back. What a process. Many hours spent trying to right their wrong and many days awaiting a response on a number of occasions. And their system for returns is slow and cumbersome. If it wasn't for my being determined I wouldn't have gotten anywhere. And in the end no real apology or compensation. Never again.

    Placed this order November 3, 2020. Paid for expedited shipping and this order still is in the processing phase. Contacted customer service, was told it would be shipped 11-10-20. It still has not shipped. If an item that I ordered is out of stock, I should be informed and given the chance to remove or substitute that item so that my order can be filled and shipped. My view on this is, I paid for expedited shipping and did not receive expedited shipping. Attached is the bill of sale and shipping charges. And the reply from customer service assuring me that my order would be shipped no later than 11-10-2020. As well as today’s reply from Dennis stating that he would see if the order can be rushed.

    Please be careful ordering from www.lightinthebox.com. Their return policy is sketchy. I ordered two standard size outfits 12 and 14, and carefully read the return policy. They are refusing to refund my money because they say that my outfits were made to order, not standard size. They make each item from scratch supposedly so even if you order a standard size, you can't return the item. When I ordered, I reviewed their return policy and then clicked on their link to read the specific return policy. Somewhere else, they are telling me, it states my items are made to order, even though the sizes are standard. Who would buy an expensive outfit in a standard size without the ability to return the item?? People understand what a standard size is and what a custom made to order size is.

    I purchased three wall-mounted towel holders for my bathroom, all high polished stainless steel. While I had purchased some smaller items previously from this site, I had never purchased something of this value nor of this category prior to this purchase. = My experience with this site was more than favorable.... In fact it was excellent. I placed my order on a Sunday night and literally had the items in hand by Thursday of the following week.... all the way from China without paying any expedite fees!

    Upon opening the parcel, I expected to see a medium level quality item that would meet most of my requirements. What I found was that these bathroom towel holders far exceeded the level of quality I was expecting and were far more beautiful than the websites pictures had shown. The high polished finish (similar to Chrome) is flawless on all visible surfaces and the dimensions of the product match exactly what I ordered.

    This website offers ease of ordering, fast delivery on most items Ive ordered, extremely cost competitive, and all have been exceptionally high quality. For items that I dont need in hand immediately, I'll continue to buy from this site as the variety and selections are widely different than what we see here in the USA. I have not experienced any issues with using my credit card for these orders

    First time purchase and I'm very impressed! Price was exceptionally reasonable. Arrived in less than 2 weeks of placing order. Hoodie is an interesting medium weight polyester blend. Feels very sleek and smooth; slips on/off so easily. Great for wearing over shirts or simply as is. Print is clear and vibrant. Size is more than ample; spot on. Haven't washed it yet, but being polyester blend, I highly doubt there will any shrinking or fading. I will definitely be ordering more from Light in the Box with all the fantastic designs they have.     It seriously took them almost 10 days just to get the items together to even ship. THEN it took another 2 days for the item to say it was shipped (AIR, REALLY), THEN and worst of all, the items received bear little in common with the images posted on the Website. These incredible deep images are show yet the T-shirt looks like you bought it at a Walmart discount rack. Another cheap, trash Chinese company that we, as a group should boycott on principle.

    Possibly the worse online purchasing experience I've ever had. I ordered 5 tops in August and have only just received the correct goods (5 November). Their website sizing charts are confusing and conflicting. The original goods supplied were therefore all completely the wrong size. The complaints process was long and drawn out, including me having to translate correspondence from & into French. Unlike every other online company I've ever used, I had to then pay for the goods to be returned to China, at a cost of $30. Terrible, terrible service, which I will never use again. I feel somewhat aggrieved that I actually have to give them even one star.

    But please be noted that our clothes are not made according to UK size chart only. Our size chart is different from UK or EU size chart. So you need to measure yourself first and refer to the specific measurements to decide which size to take.     We did receive the product and reasonable quickly, but the product quality was awful. The dimensions were off. When my son put the hood up, the sweatshirt pulled up off his shoulders. It is not a usable piece of clothing. They would allow me to return it, but I had to ship it back to China and that would have cost me more than the sweatshirt. I would NOT recommend purchasing from this company.

    I ordered a bicycle shirt from this company which came in a reasonable length of time and was post marked Jamaica, NY. It did not fit properly so I wanted to return it for full refund. I did not wear it or take any tags off. Lightinthebox suggested I "give it to a friend" or try and sell it myself because I was responsible for shipping cost back to Dongguan, China. Just on principle I followed the instructions and mailed the package to China on Sept 28th 2020. I had not gotten any response or refund so I emailed them Nov. 5th. They informed me that my "ticket was closed" and I would have to resubmit. I did so and they replied that I could complain or close the ticket.

    UPDATED 11/03/2020: Merchandise ordered still has not arrived. After multiple tries to reach them they haven’t responded with anything other than opening a customer service ticket number for the complaint. It’s been over 2 months since I ordered the items and they quit responding to my requests 6 weeks ago. I am looking for a full refund for items not received, not a discount of store credit.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am exhausted and furious by the unprofessional manner of this company. I ordered 2 items around Sept 1st. After a couple weeks I began checking into where the items were. I needed them for a wedding I was attending at the end of Sept. “Fabio” responded after several days of trying to find my order stating it had been shipped. Today is November 1st and although my Paypal has been charged over $298 I have yet to see the items or receive further response from this company!!! I’ve reached out to the same contact multiple times in Sept and Oct and they still have not responded. I want my money back immediately. This company is a nightmare to work with and far from professional. Further steps WILL be taken to receive my refund unless I hear back and get this resolved soon. The only resolution I will accept is a full refund. Never have I dealt with this type of company.

    If you're looking for cosplay or a Halloween costume, this is not the site for you. I ordered a pink wig and right when it got here I noticed it wasn't at all what I ordered. I didn't have to take it out of the packaging at all. When I went back to the site to contact customer service, I noticed that they had removed the listing. Quite possibly they didn't have any of this wig in stock and still had the listing up. Then they sent me something completely different from what I ordered because they couldn't fulfill the order. But that is just a theory. I had read positive reviews of this wig but they were a a few years old. After taking a little long to arrive, despite shipping from New York, I got a different item. Customer service was not helpful at all. I hadn't even opened my product and they refused to give me a refund because it is in the "costumes and cosplay" category. This is not the product I ordered.

    I ordered dresses from LightInTheBox on 9 OCT 2020 as I need it for an event on 28 OCT. I paid for EXPEDITED service which stated it will take 5-9 business days to reach me. They only shipped my item on 13 OCT 2020 due to some delay excuses. Fine! However, after 9 business days, on 26 OCT the order is still not out of China! They have passed the committed delivery date and even as of today, the status of the package still in China. They gave a lot of excuses and tell me to wait patiently and understand the situation. Excuse me, I don't give you money to wait patiently for your unprofessional service nor to listen your many excuses.

    I'm asking for FULL refund to my bank account and CANCEL the order as I don't need the package anymore. However until now they have not responded to my queries.     I purchased a sleeping bag from Light in the Box this year. (Order Number **). It was advertised as a "white Duck Down" sleeping bag. The product that arrived was made of 100% polyester with 100% polyester hollow fiber filling. I attempted 8 times to request return instructions and obtain a refund because this was not as advertised. Each time customer service replied to my request, they asked for information and detail which I had already provided. This process was frustrating. No matter how many times I contacted them nothing was done to process a refund or to even give return instructions or an address in which to send back this item. Buyer beware! If you ask me this is a scam company.

    I ordered my dress for a wedding on 9/23. The website states 5-7 days for shipping. On 10/7, I sent them a message asking whereabouts of the dress since I needed it for a 10/17 wedding. I was told then that it was on back order. So, I ordered a second dress from a different company that I received in 2 days. I finally received the dress from this company the day for the wedding. I did not wear it obviously and tried sending it back. They won’t accept the return because “the dress was made via measurements”. No, it wasn’t. I ordered a size 4. I never sent my measurements. Terrible experience with foreign customer service. Seems to be a fake of a company and I will never order from them again.

    The buying process was easy, however I wanted to cancel my order and get my full refund of 219.57 USD. Customer service replied after a day and instead of simply allowing me to cancel and give me a refund they insisted that I take a 20% coupon which I did not accept.     I ordered a "winter" jacket from Lightinthebox.com. After checking their size chart, I ordered an Extra Large rather than my normal size which is Large. This jacket is totally unusable for a number of reasons. The sleeves are way too short. Also, the jacket is way too lightweight for winter. This jacket is slightly heavier than a shirt... definitely not a "Winter" jacket! They sell an identical jacket which they refer to as a "Spring" jacket but apparently they send the same jacket to everyone but charge more for the "Winter" jacket." To fix all of this, they require me to send it back at my expense! Postage to China is 3x cost of the jacket!

    I realize now after reading numerous bad reviews that this is just business a usual for this company. They sell terrible products that bear little to no resemblance to their pictures and descriptions. Then they refuse to make it right by requiring their American customers to pay for return shipping to China which is prohibitively priced. I have never written a bad review and didn't really want to write this one but I feel that if I can help someone avoid making a purchase at this company, then it is worth my time and effort help them avoid the problems that come with ordering from them. Do Not Buy Anything From Lightinthebox.com! If you do, you will join the rest of the many people they scam daily!

    This is the first time I write down a review from an online purchased product because I believe people should be aware of what they should expect if they decide to take the risk and buy something from this store. I live in Canada and I ordered a pair of shorts two months and this is the time that nothing has arrived to my place. I have emailed the company three times and the first time they would ask you to wait for more time, which I did just to be nice and understanding. But then nothing happened and I requested my money back. And still, they keep answering with emails asking for more time in different ways for a package that seems like it's never going to arrive, as if the customer request was completely ignored.

    When I stumbled across this site, I was a little skeptical about the low prices on many of the items. I decided to buy the wife a couple things just to see if they're selling cheap garbage or not. Much to my surprise, it's not just cheap junk. The lingerie I got her not only looks great on her but, according to her, is pretty comfortable compared to some much more expensive things I've gotten for her in the past. Many times, items like the maid outfit I got her are cheap and made of itchy materials that make her enjoyment of them fleeting at best. Not the case here though, so far she has been pleasantly surprised by how well they fit and feel. Sizing can vary widely across different clothing types and styles so check the sizing on every item. However, for the most part, I have been pretty impressed with the quality of the items we have purchased so far.

    One thing I am very happy with is the pair of stiletto heels, which I refer to as her hooker shoes, look amazing on her. Shipping can take a pretty long time so don't expect Amazon level efficiency and delivery times, but for the price, waiting a couple weeks isn't so bad. So far, we have been very happy with all of the items we've purchased here. I did order a sweatshirt and a tee-shirt for myself, and learned the hard way about double checking sizes. The tee-shirt was bigger than I expected, the sweatshirt, which I thought was the same size was way way too small. I ended up gifting it to my friends 10 year old.

    Aside from that, I have very few complaints. If you're in the market for some nightwear for your significant other ranging from cute and comfy to full on skanky, this is a pretty good place to start. The pricing, considering the quality, is tough to beat especially if you compare to similar items from Fredericks or most other mainstream retailers. I highly recommend that you at least look and compare before buying elsewhere.

    I have never been as happy with an internet company as I am with Lightinthebox.com. They have everything that you could ever want. It's almost unbelievable. Their products are the best of the best especially for someone like me who loves to buy those things that you don't see everywhere, but who has a tight budget. Then their prices are more than compatible with others, they just downright beat other companies out. After buying my son a pair of shoes there, now my nephew, who is a fashion plate, said purchase whatever I think he may like and he will reimburse me-sight unseen.

    I am so happy that I have found a store, where I can afford to give people those beautiful gifts that I love to give so much. I can't finish this without addressing their delivery times - THEY'RE GREAT!!!     I took a chance on a site I hadn't heard of, and I wish I hadn't. I'm hoping they might still make it right before Halloween, but I haven't heard back yet from the customer service ticket I filed. I ordered the children's kigurumi dragon animal onesie on a child's large size based on both the size chart on the product page and accompanying reviews. The size chart made it clear this was the right size for my 7-year-old. I ordered a month before Halloween but still paid for express shipping to ensure this would get here before Halloween despite Covid shipping delays.

    The onesie arrived as early as promised, but it is an adult large. It fits me, not my 7-year-old. The tag has L/175-110b on it, which seems to correspond with Chinese sizes for a women's large or extra large. The product dimensions are much, much too large for a child and much larger than indicated in the size chart. If the company does respond to the ticket I filed, I'm afraid I'll be responsible for shipping to correct their error and that they won't send out the size I actually ordered until too late for Halloween. If that's the case, this was a total waste of money because I'll have paid for a product and express shipping but not have been able to get the correct product at the agreed-upon price or schedule.

    Just as I expected, I purchased a product from this company, with fine print lies for returns. The quality was mediocre, but the coat just happened to not work. If they were transparent, in their return policy, they would say, "we will have you ship your product to China, and it will likely cost you way more than the product itself, GOOD LUCK, GETTING YOUR MONEY!" Of course that isn't what it says.

    When I decided to return my coat, I actually got a message that said, "It might be better for you to give the product to a friend or family member, as it is very expensive to ship back to China, and the shipping may cost more than the product." Where was that advice before? I believe this company is shady and surreptitious, and from these other reviews I'm reading, even if you send it back, they can always allege they didn't receive it, even if the tracking says it was delivered.     Upon receiving the dress it did not fit. I started the return process by submitting a ticket 9/28/20. Since that time I've submitted pictures two different times totaling eleven pictures. The bust measures 3 inches smaller than the size 8 that I ordered and the waist is a quarter inch smaller. Simply put the dress doesn't fit, I ordered a stock size so that I could return it if it didn't fit. They continue to give me the run around. I want to return the dress and get a full refund.     The pictures of the 3D hoodies on the site look amazing. The products not so much. The colors are not vibrant and a 2D effect is all that shows. No eye popping, in-your-face graphics as shown on the site. While the quality of the sewing is average, they used white thread to sew a black background, so if the seams get stretched, you'll see it loud and clear. The one hoodie that has a flower print and was not a 3D, is simply terrible. The print is fuzzy and not well defined. I bought these as gifts and will NOT be giving them. I'll donate them to the local charity. My apologies to the people that end up with them.

    Updated on 10/21/2020: Order from Sep 7, 2020, not delivered yet (as of Oct 21, 2020). After a few e-mails, the company offered a discount which has been credited to my account within 10 days, but I haven't received my order yet. The latest e-mail dated 10/10/2020 claimed the order was shipped. It is Oct 21, and I still don't have it.

    Original: My order was confirmed on the 7th of Sep 2020. Payment confirmed and money taken from my account on the 6th of Sep. The site states: Shipping Method: Priority Line (5 - 8 business days). I have checked with the company the status of my order on the 15th and they responded very quickly (e-mails), but it looks like this shipping timeline starts from the day your order is 'processed' (whatever that means). Mine hasn't been processed yet (as of 24th Sep). Just checked my delivery status now and it says: Processing Estimated shipping date: September 23, 2020 (Partially delayed). I am yet to see when/if it will be delivered. I'll return to these reviews and will let you all know.

    Quite simply the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I received one order & was very satisfied, as a result I placed a second order. In the subsequent order was a defective item & I have been seeking a replacement ever since. The company inform you that they check every 'nook & cranny' of items that are dispatched. Obviously they don't, - the shorts I purchased had a hole in the pocket & the stitching was coming undone.

    I have sent 9 emails including photographs, order confirmation, proof of delivery & even a link to the review of the shorts on their website. The latest response is that 'I am wrong' (ha, isn't the customer always right !?) & that the delivery was made on the 14/07. I really don't understand how that could be true as I didn't place the order until the 16/07 & it took 4 weeks to arrive. I have probably spent more time & effort communicating with this company than the value of the product & am no closer to a resolution. I am bitterly disappointed & really thought I'd get a "certainly sir, a new pair has been dispatched" sort of email. Alas no.

I tried to cancel the order but there’s no option for that. I sent out an email right away asking to have this resolved and received a response at 1:05 am, every exchange I’ve had from them has been one email a day sent to me at 1:05, it doesn’t matter how quickly I reply, I don’t get a reply until 1:05 in the morning and I have yet to get a reply that answers any questions I may have. It’s been frustrating to say the least. So while I had ample time to cancel the order and place it again as to avoid it getting lost, they completely ignored any requests I sent, only to start contacting me after the item has shipped. Not only will I never use this site again, I also won’t stop until something gets resolved.

    The 4 shirts I ordered took over 2 months to arrive. NONE of them came even close to resembling the original pictures as advertised. Additionally, they were nowhere near the size ordered according to their sizing charts. I ordered 2X shirts, one was actually labeled as a 4X (shockingly enough) but was not large enough to even be a 2X shirt according to their sizing chart!!! EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY. They clearly don't follow their own return policy which is convoluted and very much written in their favor. Initially, they offered only a small refund which they kept increasing after each email complaint to their so-called supervisors. They absolutely refused to refund my money unless I returned the shirts (which I was happy to do) as long as they pay the shipping costs.

    I explained that I didn't feel that it was fair of them to expect me to pay the return shipping given that the reason for the error was entirely THEIR FAULT!!! Eventually, they said they would refund the shipping costs (after telling me that the cost for shipping would exceed the costs of the order which makes no sense at all), however further warned me that they required that if the product doesn't arrive that I would lose both my refund and the shipping costs. After countless emails requesting a refund, I finally gave up.

    Why should I trust a company to refund my purchase and shipping costs given their EXCEPTIONALLY poor product and seemingly absent quality control. It didn't seem rational to me that they were demanding the product to be returned and were willing to pay the shipping costs that would exceed the cost of the product. Seemed more likely that they wanted the shirts back for reselling but couldn't help but wonder if they would "disappear" and I would lose the shipping costs too. The volume of email communication and the content of the communication could only be characterized as ABSURD!!! I'm actually amazed they have somehow earned even a 2-star overall rating, they certainly are NOT worth it.

    I ordered a number of bicycle products. Most of the products were as described - back lights, front bar bag - all okay. My complaint and dissatisfaction relates to the time it took to get the products and the response they gave me to a defective product. The most expensive product was a bike bag (FJQXZ Bike Panniers Bag Bike Rack Bag Large Capacity Waterproof Adjustable Size Bike Bag Nylon Bicycle Bag Cycle Bag), which literally shredded where the strap meets the bag after the first use in which I put nothing in the bag.

    I had only strapped it on for use in the future. When I got back from a 30 minute road ride, the bag was falling off. I looked at it and the strap had shredded at the base where it meets the bag - so no accidentally rubbing against a tire or anything, it was on the road, so no crazy or harsh riding conditions, weather was beautiful. An absolutely defective product. In response to my complaint after waiting 1.5 months for the products to arrive in the first place and spending $30 on the bag, they said they would give me $8.18 off my next order. What a joke. There's nothing I can do about it; that's what I get for dealing with a company overseas. I won't ever order anything from them again.

    I was very impressed by the selection of cycling clothing on this site - but BEWARE!!!! The sizes are made for AS, not US, and the US sizes are about three sizes off. I wear a US 4-6, and even the Large cycling shirts are too small and impossible to return. I purchased several cycling shirts in my first purchase and then went up a size and they still do not fit. When I tried to return them, they said the postage to send them back to China would be more than I paid $170 and $370 in cycling clothes, and that I should try to sell them online to try to get my money back, or they would offer me 10% back in a refund or a 20% discount on my next order. So, I am out $540 of cycling clothes that would not fit a 10 year old! Horrible experience, and I would rate them a -5 if I could.

    I recently submitted a 1-star review of LightInTheBox for their deceptive trade practices when it comes to returns. Almost instantly afterwards I received a proposed settlement from the company that was significantly better than their previous offer. Since they showed goodwill to work with me after my review, I decided to return the favor and re-write my review and give them THREE stars instead of one. Why only three stars? Firstly, the settlement is still much worse than if I were simply allowed to ship back the item to their distribution warehouse in New York. Secondly, it is too bad that it takes a bad review to receive a decent response. But at least now we are both better off than when this started. Hopefully, LightInTheBox will reconsider their return policy in the future. My guess is that they would be much better off in the long run if they did.

    I ordered a bicycle seat from Lightinthebox for $40+ which was very uncomfortable. I immediately contacted the company and requested a return and refund. They told me that I would have to ship it back to China which would be very expensive, so instead they suggested that I keep the seat and offered me a $8 refund... I asked them to point out where it states that the item has to be shipped back to CHINA, since the item was shipped from New York. There is no China reference in their return policy. I pointed out that this seems like a deceptive trade practice and asked that we settle this another way, I gave them three options, but they refused.

    My conclusion is that this company uses the fuzzy return policy as a tool to wear out their disgruntled customers (and there seems to be many, many of them at this point). it's a shame that a publicly traded company is allowed to operate in this manner. My recommendation to my fellow consumers is: DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER DOING BUSINESS WITH LIGHTINTHEBOX. THE CHEAP COMES OUT VERY EXPENSIVE! Buy from a business that honors American rules and trade practices. You have been warned. Ignore this advice at your own peril.

    This place ties for 1st in the list of HORRIBLE purchasing experiences I've had! TL:DR - They completely ignored my "hold order" request, and refused to ever make it right, despite a MONTH of communication on first email, and then Facebook. I found them when they had a promotion going on, 20/30/40% off, for orders of 2/3/4 shirts. I found 4 shirts I quite liked, but was unfamiliar with their sizing scheme. I could also find no way to contact them, short of placing an order. So I ordered 1 shirt, with the intent to have them hold the order while I work with them to figure out the sizing. When I placed the order, there was a link provided for those who wanted to change their order. I clicked that link, and began with "PLEASE HOLD THIS ORDER" and proceeded to tell them I needed help.

    The next day, I come home from work to find an email saying it'd been shipped, and another one in reply to my hold request, saying that it was too late. I thought, ok, well maybe they are short on staff. If they'll work with me on sizing, and only charge me what I would've paid if I'd been able to order it all together, then I'll be happy. Over the course of the next week or so, I gradually realized that was NOT how this was likely to play out. First they directed me to the sizing chart I had ALREADY mentioned in the initial request as having been confusing. Then they offered to refund the shipping. Never mind that I was still eager to do further business with them at this point, and had not even mentioned a refund, this was their idea of a solution.

    At this point, I begin to think maybe someone just doesn't want to do their job, and I should contact another department, so I find their Facebook page, and message them. If you guessed I'd get more of the same, you're right. More wondering if they're really reading anything I type, more pathetic offers of refunding barely anything, and more ignoring any and all direct questions. I STILL don't know how to use their sizing chart! Why a business would be so flatly disinterested in getting more money, from an initially forgiving and eager customer, is far beyond me.

    I purchased a adapter for a Macbook Pro (2019) that connects with a C plug but has several different devices you can plug into it and use since Mac is limited with this model when plugins are involved. It reads SD Cards Different sizes, HDMI,USB connections, Audio, 1 additional C plug, three USB and one Cat5 Cable inlet.. It doesn't work. The day I ordered, 5 minutes or less after I canceled the order but they told me it had already shipped. NO WAY did they have that ready to ship in less than 5 minutes. I have never had this much difficulty returning something that was not the company's fault or my fault that the case did not work out.     I ordered a cell phone case for my new 1+ cell phone. I did an internet search for cases that would fit my phone and ordered as a guest on the website. There weren't a lot of options for my phone. I did not create an account and did not download their app. I never received any tracking information or confirmation in my email but I did get the case faster than I expected. There was no company name on the outside of the envelope and no paperwork inside. Just the cell phone case. I immediately tried the case on my phone and none of the buttons on the sides line up with the holes in the case. I found out that my wireless company actually moves the buttons down so that you have to buy the expensive cases from them.

    I got an email from Light in the Box with an order number after I received my case and used the number to email and ask how to return the case. I was told I had to sign in and go to my orders and there would be a ticket. I downloaded the app but it does not show any orders or tickets giving me no availability to request a return and refund. They want pictures so I sent a picture of the case and the packaging. They came back and said they needed a picture of the problem. Unfortunately I can't take a picture of the problem with my phone when I don't have another phone to take the picture with and the phone won't work with all of the buttons pressed by the case. I have gone back and forth with them since July and still have no answer, no return information and no refund. I will not order from or recommend this company ever again.

    I tried them once and purchased several cheap clothing items. This was despite reading the bad reviews… the chance of cheap, value-for-money buys was too tempting for me. They were delivered more than a month later in 2 separate deliveries from China. Some items were not what was ordered. Some items had no tags suggesting they may be someone else’s returns. Then the bizarre email exchange… I sent photos, did everything that was asked of me and was very polite but they closed the ticket with no refund. The emails from Alex/Alexandru suggested that the person doesn’t actually exist or doesn’t understand English or doesn’t understand how to run a business. I’ve spent more time on this that the items are worth. This was my one and only purchase from them. Don’t waste your time and money. AVOID.

    Updated on 8/24/2020: I had done a prior review where I was upset about the wrong size jersey that they sent and wanted me to pay to return it. After a very confusing email exchange they are sending me a XL jersey of the style I ordered for free. I originally ordered a large, but it said US S and AS L on the jersey, so it was way too small. I think they just grabbed the wrong jersey when they picked the order, and would have preferred the L, but they seemed to think I should have a loose fit and sent the XL when I sent them my personal measurements. They did not request the wrong size jersey back, so I gave it away. I'm satisfied overall, but not thrilled.

    Original review: I ordered 2 bike jerseys from them. They came in 11 days and the quality was good, but they sent one small when I ordered a large. The other one was the correct size. They said I had to pay for shipping myself if I wanted to return it even though it was their mistake, not mine. They offered a $5 credit if I kept it (with no refund), but it was not obvious how I would get the credit if I kept the wrong jersey. I will never order from them again. I have no confidence that I would get the right size the next time either.

Todays date is 18 August and still nothing has arrived and we have been given NO REFUND. Yet this morning I get emails indicating the items have been shipped????     I found a dress on their website, no special order, just picked from the sizes that were offered. Received the dress about one month later, it's too small. Can't even zip it up. Contacted customer service, they said I can't return it because it was "MADE TO ORDER". I never sent my measurements, just picked from what was offered and it's too small. I would have never ordered anything from their website if I knew I couldn't return it. I order things all the time, especially with COVID, and return if I'm not happy. Well I'm not happy and they don't care. So this review is to let them know they need to change their business practices and accept all returns. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again.

    I ordered a product from the website and my credit card was charged right away. 30 days later I submitted a ticket saying my product had not arrived. I was assured it would arrive within the next 30 days. 35 days later I submitted a second ticket saying my product still had not arrived and requesting the company to cancel my order and issue me a refund. I was given tracking information that had not been updated in 6 weeks and told to wait longer.

    I waited another two weeks and then demanded my refund. The company told me that a) it had been longer than 90 days (false) and therefore they could no longer track the package (even though I had been complaining for 2.5 months already) and b) that if I wanted a refund I had to follow up with my local post office using a tracking number they gave me and get proof that my package never arrived. I followed up with my local post office and there was no record of that tracking number in their system at all. Luckily my bank has resolved this issue for me. NEVER, I repeat, NEVER buy from this company.

    I heard that Lightinthebox is a legitimate website to order from so I wanted to order a few items from the website to test this for myself. The first time I ordered from the website, I ordered a single phone case that arrived in due time, and I was able to track the parcel without a problem within the app, and without needing to know my actual tracking number. I was very satisfied with this product as it was just as I expected and shown on the website itself.

    My problem lies with my recent parcel that I ordered on 27 July 2020. It was shipped from the original warehouse in China on 30 July 2020 and I am still waiting for it to be delivered to my address. However, I am unable to track the parcel on the website and on their trusted Track and Trace app, 17Track, as it says the parcel is not to be found. It states it is in Post NL International station in the Netherlands but it is not specifying where the next destination is, and says the item cannot be found and to contact the original courier. I cannot find an email that will help me with this and I did not get a confirmation email like I did the first time with my single order. I would like this to be fixed.

    I searched for my tracking number on the Post NL website AND Royal Mail, which it should be shipped in the UK from - but results gave me nothing, saying my tracking number does not exist. I was provided with this tracking number through the Lightinthebox app but it is becoming frustrating that I cannot find my parcel’s tracking anywhere. My tracking number is **. I hope this can be resolved or that I am given an answer as I am growing annoyed with this service. Other than this order, I believe the website is good, there are some flaws with the app and a way to contact the company about my issues and I hope these can be reviewed so everyone can enjoy the service.

    Updated on 08/14/2020: My wife bought 4 dresses, they did not fit and were not satisfactory. They were shipped to us from an address in NY. The company wanted us to return them to mainland China. Shipping to China would cost 2.5 times the cost of the merchandise and as we read the guarantee we only needed to return to the shipping address (NY). They offered a 30% refund if we kept the dresses. That was not satisfactory, I wrote them and they did not respond. I wrote a negative review and they increased their offer... BUT we are STILL out twice the cost of shipping to NY. Not the sort of merchant we will do business with again. I guess the warning is be SURE before you buy, because return something is NOT possible.

    Original Review: My wife purchased 4 dresses. They were shipped to us from a USA east coast address. They were not of good quality and did not fit, so she wanted to return them. We were told we had to return them to mainland China at our cost to get a full refund. The items cost $100. Returning them would cost $275 using UPS, the postal service said they don't deliver to China because of Covid-19. They did offer 30% refund if we keep the stuff. Pretty crappy way to do business... We'll NEVER do ANY business with them again. Don't be fooled like we were.

    Ordered a product as a gift - dispatch time was 4-5 days. 2 weeks later I contacted Customer Service who said 'sorry - has been delayed, will be sent in 3-5 days' and marked the issue as 'resolved'. 2 weeks later I contacted them again and was told exactly the same thing.     BE CAREFUL, It look like when they do not have a particular size of what you order, they would just send another size rather than say they do not have it in stock, I got sent many wrong sizes, and I have not been able to contact them or return the goods.     My shirts arrived in a reasonable amount of time. However the sizes were both wrong and radically mis-sized. I order a large and received large and extra large. However, the large was what an American would describe as XXL and the extra large was physically smaller than the large. When I reached out to the company they have failed to respond.

    I ordered 1mt fairy lighting and was supplied with 2mt instead. The company insists that the right product was dispatched. I have sent copies of my order and their invoice both say one meter. They requested photos as proof which I sent as a video so the full length could be identified. They still refuse to accept the wrong product was sent. They expect me to return the product and the wrapping must be intact at my own expense and they might refund me the amount paid. Return shipping cost more than the ordered item. I'm not sure how I could have identified the wrong length if I hadn't opened the packet. Do not trust this company.

    High import charges which is even more annoying once you realise when you order 5 items they are all individually shipped on different days and each one has an import charge which is 85% of the initial cost offered.     I can only give this company 0 (ZERO) STARS. I REALLY DISADVISE THIS. They are very quickly in ordering, but delivery is very slow and the good are not delivered. After waiting an order for 3 months and one 2,5 months and after taking contact with the after service they recommend to pay patient and wait a little bit. ARE THEY KIDDING? They are also very tricky. They split up an order in one item and then the rest. After a while they claim that the single item is delivered, what is not true. And the rest of the order is supposed to be sent.

    I ordered Loende LED lights for a birthday present for my niece. I put my credit card details in, but after this, it still said "Pending" on the order, and "Proceed to Checkout". I wondered whether I maybe needed to click on "Proceed to checkout" to make it confirmed, but when I did so, it just prompted me to pay again. Like they were trying to get multiple payments for one order. I sure wasn't going to be paying twice thank you very much. I wasn't happy that it said "Pending" rather than "Confirmed". I googled the issue, and some info on net said that some payments take a couple of days to go through. So I left the site, and hoped it would be ok.

    I waited a few weeks, till the order was due to reach me in a few days' time. I thought I'd just go and check up on it, to make sure it was all looking confirmed, but noticed it still said "Pending" on order on site. I wrote to customer service team, asking why this is, and if they could refund me or preferably send me the lights asap, as my niece was looking forward to receiving them this week. After a few days of prompting them with messages each day, they did refund me, so that was at least good, but they didn't honour my request to send them to me asap. So now I will have to let my niece down.

    Just a warning for anyone buying on the site: If it still says "Pending" after you have put your card details in, then follow up with customer service team straight away, to make sure it becomes "confirmed", and they actually send you the order. I think that is a bad glitch on their site for it to not have become "Confirmed" after following the normal checkout process and putting my card details in when prompted.

    I purchased LED's off of the website on May 14th 2020 as it was cheaper and promised to be delivered within 7-15 business days. Once 10 business days passed weirdly the ETA changed to 8-15 business days. Then after 15 business days it changed to 15-25 and of course this kept continuing up until 30 business days. I waited and they never came so I got onto customer service which took a few days to get back to me. They gave me a tracking number which didnt work and refused to refund my money until 120 days have passed which is ridiculous cause first of all it was supposed to be 7-15 business days and second of all thats almost A THIRD OF A YEAR!! Ridiculous over 2 months later still havent gotten my money or my package. Dont ever buy from here. They'd come faster from wish to be honest.

    This company is a bit different in how they communicate with a customer and it can be frustrating and I hope my issue wasn't just resolved because I wrote a negative review. I think it was more of a miscommunication on how to respond to "tickets" which isn't just items ordered but communication messages on site that you have to open and read. Quite confusing - but as I said once we could communicate properly it was politely & happily resolved.

    On May 24th I ordered Motion Portable Fan × 1 BLACK(LIGHT) / 4 SET(BUY 3 GET 1 FREE) for a total of $71.29. The very next day I received tracking info thru the 17track.net saying it was in California, I waited almost a month and emailed asking where it was. Got a response back giving me the same tracking info and saying wait a couple days. I did that and it updated showing it move to a different city in California, I waited another week and filed a claim with PayPal. I received a response back with the same tracking info and that there is a delay because of the system!?! Escalated to PayPal and their response to them was a totally different tracking number that I have never seen saying it was delivered on June 13th in my mailbox! It was not delivered! I am still waiting on PayPal to make a decision! Do not buy from them. They are liars and cheats!!!

    I supposedly ordered an Asakuki diffuser (as falsely advertised on their website). They sent me a cheap knock out! I tried to contact them several times but (a) they make it almost impossible to contact customer service. (b) They refused a return request despite their website stating otherwise. (c) They are asking me now to send the item back myself without any clear assurance that they would refund or cover the postage fees (which is almost the price of the item itself). This has been truly the WORST online shopping experience ever and I recommend everyone to stay away from these professional scammers.

    Had I read the reviews on this website first, I would have seen it has a 1-Star rating and would not have wasted my time or money. The website shows the item I ordered along with a size chart to select from. I chose my size and put it in the cart, which was all on one screen, then proceeded to checkout. Had I scrolled down further, in small print it says this is a made to order item. But there is no way to alter the sizing. The sizes are standard! The size chart tells you what measurements you will get with the size you select. However, calling it "made to order" means you cannot return it. It's a scam to sell products that can't be returned.

    I reached out to customer service three times in an effort to explain not only the poor quality of the product but also that the jacket falls off at the shoulders. It doesn't have the proper dimensions to fit like a jacket, and it was the smallest size they make. I can turn this around to be my fault for not reading the fine print. I am just extremely disappointed at being taken. Sounds like so are many many others. Writing this review is all I can do to try to hold companies to a higher standard, and at the very least, warn others away.

    I purchased Item ILPALADINO Men's Sleeveless Cycling Jersey Black / Blue Bike Vest / Gilet Jersey Tank Top order #** on the 24th of April. It is now the 5th of July. On the 2nd of June I received an e-mail stating; "We are excited to inform you that your order item(s) has/have been shipped from our warehouse. If your order contains more than one item, you may receive separate packages when they are delivered". But when I e-mail them back questioning the 9 week delay I did not hear back from them. I find this sort of behavior very unprofessional and it does leave a lot to be desired as to whether or not they are in fact a respectable company. As consumers I do believe that if purchases were not made they would cease to exist.

    Am pleased with the pricing system offered by Lightinthebox. This enabled me to purchase more goods from them. I will like them to keep it up so that I can continue to patronize. The quality of those products was satisfactory. It was well parked. I was pleased to receive the products in good condition. For the fact that the products are pleasants in my eye, I'm certain that they move in the market. The product design made those goods pleasants to see. The design depicts the assurance that the products are of best quality. I will like to see more of these design any time I place order.

    The shipping service put more confidence in me. I don't need to worry about it anymore because the date given me that I will receive my goods was exact date I did. Also, it was so convenient for me to receive them but the shipping fee was too high in my own perspective.     I am furious and irritated! I ordered 2 dog back pack style carriers in April 2020 I got an e-mail saying shipped may 3rd 2020, we are now going into July and still I have received anything. I was told 30 days max due to covid (I even gave an extra 2 weeks with my needed timeline), I ordered these with a purpose (my dogs both had knee surgery and couldn't walk for a week) and had to go and purchase locally anyways so now it's cost me over $140 (including my lightinthebox purchase) and I'm not working so it is a huge blow to me financially. I've got one reply which included a useless tracking number that hasn't moved since the first 2 days.

    I asked for my money back repeatable times cause after 2 months I know it's not coming and have yet to be told I would be refunded. I would NEVER order from this company again due to #1 poor service and #2 scammy fake tracking numbers. Wish is notorious for long shipping times and I received all my wish things I purchased at the end of may already, at least they refund if you don't receive your products without a hassle. I feel scammed out of $48 which during this time is a lot for someone unemployed! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

And then they will reship. Sure, can I believe that?? I think not!!! Don't order from them unless you want to frustrate yourself. Today 1 July 2020 I received reply from Vincent again that "according to latest company policy they default the reship/refund for 30 days. Incredible. I am sure that when I enquire on 1.08.2020 (and I know I will!) they will have a newer policy out defaulting for 2 months. It would not surprise me. Yes, my daughter's final school year ball dress is gone, thank you very much LITB!! And LITB simply do nothing. I am furious.

    It seems a common theme with this company that their orders do not arrive in the time they advertise. I placed an Order ** on 13 May and picked normal delivery advertised as 10-20 days. I ordered a cycle top and jacket. We were advised that the jacket was not available so we proceeded with the cycle top. It was not dispatched until 24 May and has been sitting in Shanghai airport since 12 June. I think if their website were honest and advised customers it can take up to 2-3 months to get your order no one would buy from them. It's okay to advertise flash sales and inundate you with advertising but when you don't receive the product you ordered - a bit of a scam. I have complained and received the usual platitudes, it's all the pandemic's fault. Sorry but not this long. Only going to order from websites in my own country in future - lesson learnt.

    The garment I received is not the same item as advertised online. Nothing like it! I emailed them to say I want to return it for a full refund and I don't see why I should have to pay postage being as they have used false advertising to fraudulently obtain money. While I know that ordering clothing online can be dodgy, I expect that to relate more to sizing than anything else. Disgraceful, and governments should act to stop fraudulent advertising online by overseas companies. I only gave these POS's one star because I have to in order to post this comment. In reality I'd give them minus 10 for being criminals.

    I Do not recommend buying from LightInTheBox. Terrible customer service. I ordered and paid for poker chips, order number **. 3 weeks later still the tracking number doesn't work although the status of the order is "shipped". Customer service keep stalling about it.     This is the worst online experience of my life!!! I ordered a costume for my son, he waited anxiously every day for it to arrive. Shipping time said 8-13 days. It never arrived. We waited and checked every day. I sent SIX emails. They told me it was on its way. Then they said it had been returned and they would refund me. I bought the same product from Amazon for almost half the cost and it arrived in two days. Then customer service emailed me again and said the product was in transit and to wait up to 90 days. I said they promised me a refund so I already bought the product from Amazon. They said too bad and I needed to refuse the shipment. The shipment was left on my doorstep and I couldn’t refuse it. I opened the product, the quality was very poor.

    It took 88 days to arrive and a HUGE hassle dealing with this company. I tried to return it and they said it’s been more than 7 days so I’m stuck. They also promised me a refund on the shipping cost of over $10 and they refuse to do that now as well. Never buy from them. Amazon treats customers like they are important. These guys will take your money and lie to you and never give it back. It’s not worth it and the quality is terrible. If I could select less than one star I would. These crooks should not be in business.

    I ordered fitness bands from this site on 28 April and paid over 80 euros for it to be delivered at an estimated between 10-18 days. Given Covid I was patient and expected some delays and so waited a few weeks longer to contact the company but now Just shy of 2 months later, and having contacting the company several times, I've received no delivery, no refund and zero certainty about if or when it may arrive. When I tried to make a complaint I was fobbed off and told I would only permitted to lodge a complaint at a 80-90 day window.

    They wouldn't even let me make one, or consider my request for a refund which seems absolutely bizarre to me. Instead I was told to be patient because there was a "large possibility" it may arrive day 60-90"... funnily enough LightInTheBox doesn't provide that description when you are booking on the website. Their approach is misleading and unethical. Definitely the worst experience I've had as a consumer. I feel I've no hope of getting what I ordered or a refund. There's no light at the end of the tunnel with lightinthebox!

    I placed an order(#**) on the 15th April for my daughters birthday present on the 28th April - it eventually arrived on the 18th June with a customs charge. Their response was poor and when I looked for a refund I was informed that I would have to wait 80 days. This is an absolutely disgraceful service and they should not be allowed operate. I would not recommend anybody buy from this website.

    I believe this whole website is a scam! I have been trying to return an item that I purchased that DOES NOT WORK since May 26th. I keep getting the runaround. First I was told I need a PC to make a return. I told them repeatedly that I do not have a PC. I used the mobile app to make my purchase. I should be able to make a return using the mobile app as well! Then I was told I don't REALLY have to have a PC I just need to print off a return form. For one I cannot do that without a PC and for two the link I was sent to do this isn't a real link. I have sent countless messages to customer service and am still sitting here without a solution or my money. I strongly suggest that no one make a purchase from this company! They have stolen my money!

    This website/company – whatever it is – seems to be a scam! I created may order, paid and the money was immediately deducted from my account. Now, I want to update my order but when I login to my LITB acct and go to “my orders” it says I don’t have any orders. Furthermore, I have never received an email from the Lightinthebox for the order confirmation after they took my money. I’m trying to contact them and no way to find their contacts. This way, I’m informing the Lightinthebox that I want to cancel my order and requesting from them to give my money back to me ASAP.

    I am disappointed in both Light in the Box and PayPal. The face shields ordered for my dental practice arrived a month later, folded into halves and then rolled in a box that was too small. The shields were so distorted they were unusable. I sent a photo to Light in the Box and after two weeks with no reply I requested a refund from PayPal.

    The PayPal process is painful as there are several hoops to go through giving me the feeling that I am the bad guy. Now Light in the Box responds through PayPal and said to return the face shields (two months later) at my expense to China for a refund. I documented the damaged product with photos and sent them to Light in the Box and have since thrown these worthless one use items away. It's not the $33 and change that I am concerned about, it's how this company can hide behind PayPal who allows this to happen. My greater concern is that I have made large purchases through PayPal in the past believing that I was protected from things like this. Beware PayPal is not like the other credit card companies!

    I ordered from Light in the box website ***April 13, 2020***. *** It cost $286.42. I then had to pay for the shipping which I got the fastest they had and that cost another $53.69. I also paid for shipping insurance which was $5.99. I did have a coupon which took off $28.64. After everything it brought My Total to ***$317.46***. I didn't mind paying the extra fee for shipping because I had ordered my daughter her 13th birthday presents from the site. I thought for sure as much as I spent and plus the added shipping fee I would receive it before her birthday at the end of the month, but boy was I so wrong!

    I started messaging this company 10 days after Payment processed (which was within 10 min from purchase time) because nothing was happening with my order. I was given a scripted reply about the pandemic (I already knew it could take a bit longer due to the covid situation so I was trying to be understanding). So I waited a few more days and messaged again, with no reply, then again with no reply. This has happened to me so many times. I have asked for my money back more times than I can count and still nothing. I created multiple tickets on their site which were closed with no reconciliation. ***I'm still waiting on my order(s). It's been 2 months!***

    I had to buy my daughter other gifts for her birthday since her gifts never came. This company is beyond unprofessional. They need to learn how to communicate with their consumers and when there are issues offer resolutions. I'm so frustrated by this whole situation. They didn't even send my order by expedited shipping. Which means they owe me money for that. And they're hanging it over my head saying they'll give me half of my shipping back for the inconvenience.. That money should have been deposited back into my account once they realized that My order didn't ship the way I paid. But nope they planned on offering me my own money back for the inconvenience?

    They should try to understand how sitting on this side makes you feel. Maybe then they would understand why we message, Why we complain, and why we leave reviews like this. I have lost countless hours of sleep over this. Worrying if our money was just flushed down the tubes or not, and worrying about how after we spent $300 on gifts where you're going to get more money for other gifts. No one should have to sit here like this and worry and stress over a any business. The last message said my order is supposed to be here by 06-16-2020 but they have been saying that for months.. I'll never buy from any site ever again without doing my homework first.

    This company is a total scam. I ordered a clock which came completely damaged. It was packaged VERY poorly and was broken. When I first contacted the company I simply wanted a replacement. I sent pictures of the damage and followed their instructions to the letter. After several rounds of emails I realized that they were just jerking me around and I wanted no part of it. I asked for a refund. They required me to pay the return shipping saying they would refund later. I again complied with all their instructions. Here I am literally months later, out the money of the clock and the money to ship. They claim they haven’t received it yet even though it has been months. They continue to try to close out my tickets as if the matter is resolved. It is NOT. Please heed my warning and don’t purchase from this company. Not worth it. Order # **.

    I ordered a resistance band set on April 1, 2020. It is June 4th and I have not received the order. The tracking information does not give me any indication of where the order is and when it may arrive. The shipping cost was returned to me in the form of a credit. A credit that I have no intention of ever using. I am very dissatisfied with my experience and based on my experience I would not recommend this website. In hindsight, I should have listened to the reviews.

    I ordered cycle shorts on 1st April (o/no **). I appreciate that the delivery would be delayed due to the problems at the moment, but I still have not received my order. Have sent numerous messages but just get the same reply! The tracking shows that the order was in transit to NZ on 12th April, but nothing after that! I was told to wait until 1st June - that’s now been and gone and still no sign of my order or a sensible reply from customer service! The most frustrating company to try to deal with!     Ordered on April 6th, paid for 5-7 days shipping. The only thing that went well was the payment as it was swiftly taken (9 minutes in total). Then the waiting began. Packaging of my items took place on April 19th and shipping finally happened on April 26th. Since then, nothing... It will be two months in a few days and the only outcome so far is that I have less money.

    Do NOT purchase from this business. I purchased two-2 piece dresses and a forehead thermometer. The two dresses were appalling. They looked NOTHING like the photos. The "skirts" were scraps of fabric that tied. Strings were everywhere. The one size fits all would not fit a size 0. They were shipped from China. The forehead thermometer came in a crushed box. The batteries were missing. I tried to put new batteries in it and it did not work! I tried three sets of new batteries, but it still did not work. Defective. It came from an address in New York. I contacted the seller via email. No response. Fortunately, I paid through PayPal. When I contacted the seller through PayPal, there was no response. Finally, when the claim was escalated-they responded.

    They gave me the following options: 1. Re-sell the merchandise to family or friends to recover my money. (There is no way I would re-sell this poor quality merchandise to family or friends..or even someone I didn't know). When I said that was absolutely not an option, they countered with another option. 2. I could drop the claim and they would give my 50% of my purchase price. I could keep the merchandise. Once again, I said I would not agree to do this. The third option was to send back my merchandise for a full refund of $243.00. However; I had to do this at my expense. This was extremely expensive, but it was the option I chose.

    PayPal required proof of shipping, so I provided them with the shipping or tracking number. Within 7-10 days, PayPal ruled in my favor and refunded my money. If I had not gone through PayPal, I am certain I would not have received a refund from this company. If you purchase from them-either use PayPal due to the protection they offer buyers, or use a credit card in which you can reverse the charge.

    I recently purchased a cat bed from a website called **. I was unaware that the product I purchased was not coming from them directly but from a company called Lightinthebox. They sent me a shipping confirmation on May 15th and that was the last I heard about my product. The tracking information shows the product was not received by the USPS. I’ve written two emails to **, only to get no response. Don’t do business with either of these companies. They were quick to charge my credit card and I have NO product. I will be filing with the Better Business Bureau as well and if I don’t get a quick response I will be contacting my credit card company to reverse the charge.

    Updated on 07/03/2020: Company initially responded to this review. (Fabio where have you gone?) I am still waiting on two bike jerseys. I received a phone call from DHL in Mandarin (I unfortunately don't speak Mandarin). Tracking numbers have changed. Where are my shirts? Where has Fabio gone? I feel abandoned by Lightinthebox.

    Original review: I ordered 4 cycling jerseys on 22/4/2020 order number: **. My email address was wrong (auto correct). How do you contact a company that has no phone number or email address? I cant submit a ticket because the email address is wrong; change password keeps going to wrong address. I have read other reviews. Rookie error. Do not shop here. I fear I have lost my money.

    This site is a scam. I placed my order on 4/6/2020 and paid the expedited shipping costs to have them here in 5 - 7 business days. Every time I have contacted them, I get the same response, "so sorry please wait a few more days"! It has now been almost 2 months and I still have not received package and have received not updates from them! Worst experience I have ever had with a company.... DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

    ORDERED ON APRIL 3, 2020. Never received order. Contacted customer support 8 times and let them there is no tracking info and I never received products. They refuse to answer my request or credit me back the $211.
