My son loves his Naruto hoodies and sweatpants but I'm still waiting on the Naruto hoodie. The sets came in sooner than expected. Cool but last item just a Naruto hoodie taking longer than the sets but I will order more in time. My son loves anime.

Lot of time to process order. After few day order done received info about inability of 1 of these items. 1 of the item look different than the picture. Shipment took days a days to reach to me. However I’m not describing about the first order. Too mucho money spended in shipment and stuff…. Very dissatisfied.

I purchased expensive dresses from this company, thinking I could send them back for a refund if they did not fit/work for me. They do not want to accept a return for a full refund. They want to give you 20% of the price!!! Also, you can not call them. You have to submit tickets and wait for them to reply. Keep in mind, you only have 7 days to return! Now, I'm out over $500 because they are very misleading about accepting returns! Considering taking legal action but unsure of the expense involved.

I purchased over $1000 worth of clothes from Light in the Box including shipping fees to return. The clothes were shipped in two separate orders after I saw the quality of the clothes I received in the first order I cancelled the second order. I purchased the clothes end of July, sent back August the 8th and still have not received my refund as of today 9/28/21 plus shipping fee of $95 to return... Please, please, please do not use this website. The quality of the clothes are super poor. I would hate for you to be disappointed or find yourself in similar situation.

I've been buying products from LightInTheBox for a long time over a dozen products Inc jackets, shirts, gloves, Socks, shorts, trousers etc. and I can honestly say the quality of the products are first class and the delivery was pretty good too considering the problems with shipping due to the COVID virus. I love the selection they have on everything you could imagine and their customer service was fantastic. I've been very impressed by them and will be a loyal customer for years to come.

Package arrived within average time for items from China. The dress size measurements indicated for the items were not as described. The bodice of the dresses were very tight fitting. Otherwise it fit well.

At first I was worried about ordering online without seeing it in person. I purchased the white wedding bolero jacket. When I received the item, the item was thoroughly packaged. I thought it was thin at first, then I realized I could wear the bolero in the summer and keep a conservative look while the weather is warm. The white material matches my wedding dress very closely; the difference is almost unnoticeable. Thank you Lightinthebox.com for providing this particular style, without the collar, half sleeves and longer waistline. I am very happy with this purchase! I would have given it more stars if the materials to the lining and the outer jacket were thicker. Can still be worn in the spring, fall and winter without overheating.

Lightinthebox is a terrible company for returns. The products came so wanted to return. We had to pay $44 shipping to return to China which we didn't realize the company was from. 2 months later they tell us they finally got the product. This all happened from May - July. As far as the refund the promised in multiple notes, none. They told us it was refunded back to bank in August/September. Contacted the bank and they say no refunds have ever been done. Contacted them again no refunds. You can't email or call them - have to do everything over their "orders" section and they only respond and you have to read it within 7 days or they delete it. I can't say enough bad things about this company - do not order from them!

All the products but the face mask were great. Face mask should have stated it was not medical in the description. When shipped on August 30, they added that it would Arrive in the US on the 3rd of Sept. And be there in customs on the 4th at 10:45. How do they know that 4 days early? Once in US package said it was shipped second day air, but took 4 days.

I ordered 3packs of braiding hair that stated 80 roots per package when I received my package, I got 8 roots per package. I sent order back as they asked for a full refund &never got my refund back. Disappointed.

Do not use this website. It’s a scam! They offer cheap products, poor quality, to trap you - then when you want to return them they say you can only return to China, which will cost you more than the product. They will not pay returns. Instead they say if you don’t return you can keep the product and they will give you 20% back. It’s a scam! Low prices high margins for them to make money.

Do NOT order anything from this company! They misrepresent their return policy and categorize standard sizes as “made to order” to deny you a return authorization and keep your money. The “easy 7 day return exchange” requires pictures and measurements, unlike any company I’ve ever encountered, only to end in a denied return request.
I ordered 3 pantsuits, paid for express shipping (which isn’t possible with made to order). The day after receiving the items that were several inches smaller than the size chart, I asked to return. They asked me for detailed pictures and measurements which I submitted the same day. They denied my return bc they said the items were the right size “according to the chart” and made to order. How can both of those things be true at the same time? I have notified my bank and disputed the charges. If they aren’t going to accept returns on their evening wear, they need to state that in their return policy. I will never do business with them again!

I ordered a medium swim set, it came about 2-3 wks later. I could not even get it over my knees. I contacted LINB and they refunded me and reordered them in and XL. I received it about 2-3 wks later and it fit good. I'm pleased with this company. Very customer friendly other than the sizing issue. I will order from them again. Thank you.

Do not use. This company is awful. Their clothing sizes are nowhere near (my XL trousers, measured to their guidance, were the size of a small child). Their delivery time promises are highly misleading (they don't include their own 'processing time'). They make it as difficult as possible to return items or get a refund - shipping back to China costs more than the value of the items, and their instructions are deliberately complex. When challenged, they offer small refunds. It is clear from the language of several reviews on here that many of their 5-star reviews are written by them.

I saw Light in the Box advertising on the internet and liked what I saw, so I ordered some shirts. I did have some concerns that I couldn't track my package and sent them an email telling them so. Their response wasn't very helpful, but after a day or so the tracking worked, but my shirts sat in New York for a week or so, I'm guessing some of my order had to come by ship from somewhere. All in all a good experience and I plan to order again from Light in the Box, thank you.

UPS says delivered Sat. Sept. 11th at 6:40pm. It was not delivered to my unit #. No idea where it was delivered and UPS just wants me to file a "Claim". This goes nowhere. Being on a fixed income is difficult. Not getting what I paid for is upsetting. I suspect this too will go nowhere, so just venting.

4 stars. I contacted a customer service representative twice to clarify my order and even sent a photo with the exact item. I ordered 5 things and one was incorrect. But I'm happy with the item. They need a much better system to identify and search for items. 2 or 3 keywords and an item #. Like LS (long sleeve) blue flame. Or SS (short sleeve) lion cross. I waited a long time - 5 weeks. But I'll definitely order other things from them again.

I have purchased two shorts which has Size M(32) but that is too small when compared to branded shorts of same Size 32. When I asked them they are asking me to send this items China. Really funny they have problem with their manufacture for that why do I need pay for returns. Instead of returns I thawed my new shorts. So don’t waste your money with this. There is another one. Shein.com is really good and better price compared to this.

I have never receive my order at all and I am very unhappy with the tracking service. Can't phone anybody. They say I need to contact my post office. They never inform me that this must be collected from the post office and I was at all the post offices in Amanzimtoti but no order was delivered. I ask for refund but till now no refund received. This was already ordered on 26 July 2021 and no order. They said 20 days for deliver. I will also never order from them and also tell all my friend about my experience.

Two different times when I got an order with swimsuits the zipper broke when they tried the suits on. I put in a complaint with you and nobody bothered to even reply. I was very unhappy and sent out this information and heard nothing. Both suits had the same issue. Poor quality

I am a long time customer of LightInTheBox, I purchase many great LED lighting systems here for my classic cars. The cars are located in the USA and are of Italian, British, and Germany manufacture. This LEDs have greatly improved my safety while driving with the magnitude of brightness they provide (as opposed to my original OEM headlights), these cars are as old as 1980 and still running fine. After spending $35 on jewelry I should be able to return more than one. Second I a received an email basically telling me that the one item can’t be return. I don’t care what the measurements of the statement necklace… It doesn’t fit around my neck or my skinner daughter neck comfortably. Why should I have to keep something that doesn’t fit??? The rest of the order was fine. They may need a couple of links added, but I was fine with that… So that means the other could not be remedied.

The watch is great and it looks like it does in the photo and is a cheap price. I have one small gripe and it would be that the light was brighter, could incorporate a flashlight into the watch too. The watch also took a bit of time to ship but it's understandable. Very happy with it and am going to look at getting another.

This is a SCAM!!! Be aware! I received a piece of garbage, nothing similar to the dress that I ordered but they don't offer return, you must keep the item because the shipping to China is really expensive... yes, even if you received a piece of trash and nor what you ordered... I ordered $217.80 worth of cycling jerseys and kits from LightInTheBox. My items never were delivered. I contacted LightInTheBox to find out what method they used for delivery and they told me DHL. I went on DHL's site to run the tracking on the shipment and low and behold I received delivery confirmation. Upon asking for proof of delivery, I saw it was "received" by a person named "Terry." There is nobody named Terry that is in my unit as well as our two tenants we have upstairs, as they don't even know any "Terrys." Not only that but there is nobody named "Terry" on our block.
LightInTheBox did respond by saying they could send a replacement shipment. Only one problem with that. All the items ordered are for SUMMER cycling and are of no use to me if they arrive after the season. I am done with these overseas companies that wait 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12+ days after the order date to ship. The frequent reason is they sell items online that do not exist in stock. They print after the order is placed and usually shit quality. Getting items at a discount defeats the point of saving money when you have to spend HOURS contacting the said company to work out order problems. If you shop at LightInTheBox, BUYER BEWARE.

I like the zipper biking shirt, but the zipper is bad. It comes up from the bottom and opens up my entire shirt, is hard to zip up and hard to unzip. I get frustrated with it and I am almost going to stop wearing it. I think it is made cheaply. Sorry, but something is wrong with it as I have never had these problems before. It also came wrinkled and stays wrinkled.

Return policy is hard, since it is expensive to ship back. Item was too large. Other options was to keep item and receive 30% of product value or get a refund of 20% of products value. I chose keep & receive 30% value, but it’s been four days and I have not heard a response from them…

The experience has been interesting, I do have to acknowledge that, unlike FashionMia or Reselinlin, you do communicate with one person at LightInTheBox who appears to genuinely want to resolve your problem. I did get a full refund without the need to return the items and pay for the postage. I also received a voucher for the inconvenience and the impression that I got that LighInTheBox struggle with getting correct information from their suppliers.

It looks like Vincent CO. LTD otherwise known as Light in The Box is yet another China-based corporation engaging in premeditated misleading advertisement scamming customers living in countries where consumers have rights. I wasn't looking at the photos when making my decisions as I can see that they are graphically edited, NO, I was reading the information provided by Vincent CO.LTD about each item. I purchased 3 garments as follows:
1.) "Women Casual Linen Cotton Plus Size Breathble Oil Painting Blouse Roll Up Sleeve V-Neck Loose S-XXXXXL #8498534 AUD $30.50Vincent CO.LTD posted to me, according to their own wash care information an item made of "100% polyester" - there is no cotton or linen in it.
2.) "Women's Simple Basic Comfort Lightweight Linen / Cotton Blend Casual Weekend Wide Leg Pants Plain Full Length Elastic Drawstring Design White Black Khaki Gray #8567631" AUD $20.86. Vincent CO.LTD posted to me, according to their own wash care information an item made of "65% cotton 35% polyester" - honestly you can not see or feel any cotton in it, just polyester.
3.) Women's Basic Comfort Linen Loose Daily Wide Leg Pants Print Full Length Print Red Green #8155696. Vincent CO.LTD posted to me, according to their own wash care information an item made of "95% polyester and 5% spandex" AUD $33.71.
See, I will not return these items as the issue here is not a mistake on their part of sending the wrong item or the size not fitting, no, the problem is a purposeful, premeditated misleading of the consumers with an intention to cause them financial damages - commonly known as theft. I will only return these items at my own cost IF in exchange they post me the actual items they advertised, but I am 100% sure that those do not exist.
The part that bothers me is this isn't about cost alone, I recently picked up garments from Kmart for 18 Australian dollars that were an actual cotton-linen blend which makes me believe that this can be achieved with profits, but Light In The Box chose to be thieves. Too bad, as I live in a tropical climate and I don't mind 'lightweight' cotton or linen-cotton blend that some perceive as cheap in quality, it works for me in a humid climate but Light In The Box are not providing even that.
I would like to add that I logged in to my account with Light In The Box to review each item and attach 2-3 photos for each item and I chose 1 star for each item but surprise, surprise, Light In The Box did not allow me to post it, it just kept returning to submit screen after clicking submit without the ability to actually submit, THEREFORE there you go, the reviews are controlled by Light In The Box on their website. SCAM.

I ordered three pair of swimming suits from the online order form provided by Light In The Box. My only reference was photos posted in the online catalog. All three suits arrived as promised, the color, size and fit was perfect. I am delighted as these types of swimming apparel is not available in local stores. As I live on the beach I wear this type of clothing while jogging daily on the beach. I contacted them and THE SAME DAY, they shipped the correct size and told me to keep the wrong size so I gave them to a friend - who also ordered more things from Light In The Box. I ordered two dresses recently and both arrived later than expected. One of the dresses literally fell apart at the seams after one washing. The other is poorly made as well and will probably do the same. I had to purchase another dress as the second one arrived too late to wear to an out of state wedding. Customer service has "jacked" me around about refunding. They have offered me very little compensation for my trouble and their poor products. I purchased two evening gowns. I looked at the size charts and ordered one size up. But the gowns were very tiny, about 2-3 sizes smaller than listed. One was supposed to be chiffon and it was pleated polyester. the other wouldn't fit the chest size listed by about 5 inches. When I contacted the company they offered me less than 25% back. When I refused they offered 50%. I disputed this with my bank and credit card company. LightintheBox.com wrote back and told me that they would refund my money only if I dropped the dispute. I requested return information and received instructions so unreliable I knew they would simply say the package was lost and I am out the money. I will never use a company like this again

But sometimes the processing takes twice as long as the shipping and I'm just wondering why that is. Your customer service is wonderful! The items ordered were not as described. This is made overseas and it is not cotton. Sizes were much larger than I had anticipated. Customer service is horrible! To start the return process, one has to jump through several hoops including taking photos of items, packaging and then having to wait 40+ days before finance can clear and start the return process. How is this possible and why are they still in business? Stay away.

LightInTheBox is a legitimate business that will generally send what you order. The prices are very low and the quality corresponds to that, so don't expect top-quality clothes that will last a long time. But the casual dresses I received were cute and sized correctly. It can be difficult getting returns for incorrect orders, so I recommend paying either by PayPal or a credit card with consumer protection built-in. That way you have another option for getting your money back besides dealing with their policies.

Overall I feel you do a good service. I like the variety of men’s clothing as well of the style of clothes. It’s hard to determine sizes before ordering because all not same. I ordered a pair of XL hiking pants and when I received them they are definitely sized incorrectly. I filled out the “request and uploaded a picture“ as per the company directed. Submitted on 7.15.21, and on 7.16.21 the response received was “please use the link provided to get the correct size”! Unbelievable, I very clearly stated I want to return this product! I ordered 3 outfits for my grandmother for a wedding...to start the items were extremely delayed. When they arrived, the quality was poor, the construction was terrible and ill-fitting. I opened a case with Customer Service, whose response was "garments were made to order to our size chart". The size chart is so extreme and wide range that there would be no way you could dispute that the garments were "within range" however, the photos I sent told the story. Shirts that displayed on the website as hitting mid hip, fell mid thigh; a built-in bodice that sat directly under the chin???; pants that show pulling directly across the thighs. Sure, they were made to measure. I spent $430 on these three garments and the offer was to "keep them and give to a friend" OR 40% return on a SINGLE garment ($50 in total). DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!!

This shirt is so cute and colorful that it really draws one's eye to it. The graphics really stand out. The fit is perfect with a very nice slimming cut and it is true to size. I have purchased 4 dresses for my daughter's wedding, hoping to try them and choose the best one for this special event. When contacting the company with my return issues, I am told that these are non-returnable, that I need to submit tickets for the issues I am experiencing, add photos of the tags and dresses with measurements of the dresses that do not fit. I try to submit the required ticket, and am informed there is another ticket out, and they close the ticket completely. One of the dresses was sent in the wrong color from what I have ordered; they still responds with ticket issues. Below is copied directly from their web site:

I ordered from Light In the Box and received the items in approximately 2 weeks. Okay, that was as expected. The problem began when took a look at the items and tried them on. Items were very cheaply made. The button fell off of one item as I tried it on. The shirts were too small and the dress just looked totally different from the advertisement. The pictured showed a dress hugging curves and the dress I received looked like a potato sack; very baggy.
Now, to return the items. I go to the site to start the returns and find that I have to pick 1 of the 4 items to return??? I did went ahead and did the return process on all items. I received an email overnight stating that I made duplicate returns. When I explained what I was trying to do I was told that it would probably cost more than I paid for the items to return them. I was told I could keep the items and they would give me a “reward” to use later. I advised that I do not want a reward because I would not be shopping on their site again and that I would like a refund.
After a few emails back and forth, we settled on a 30% refund. Well, instructions on how to locate and withdraw the money to the card I used (so confusing) was emailed to me. I placed an order on 4/27 for gift for my wife for Mother's Day 5/9. The items did not arrive until 5/18. When Large cycling jerseys did arrive, they did not fit her. Every other brand of cycling jersey she has owned has been a size Large. These items did not come close to fitting. I have seen other reviews also expressing the same problem of sizes not being standard and often too small. This was my first order with Light In The Box. I was not aware of their non return policy. I inquired about a refund and they condescendingly told me the non return policy was clearly on a link buried in their home page. In the interest of customer service, they did concede to a refund if I mailed back the items to the address in China. I followed all the instructions and address they provided me.
I packaged and sent to items via USPS which was at a cost of $39 to me. I sent them on June 7. USPS updates says they have cleared customs on 6/18. I have yet to receive a response from light in the box. Other reviews have had similar problems with mine. However, they were given a refund without sending the items back. Apparently my first order with light in the box was not as important to them. I am hopeful that they will honor their agreement to a refund plus restitution of the shipping charges. However, they have not been very willing at this point to maintain me as a customer.

This dress was not even close to a size 10. It does not fit! The edges were torn and not attached around the bodice. The sparkles fall off everywhere. They were not sewn on. I would like to return item and have credit toward something else. The other two dresses I bought were beautiful and fit great.

Updated on 07/04/2021: I ordered 24 tops and they are beautiful. Customer service has been very helpful. I have ordered other tops that will arrive soon. Fabric of each top is very nice quality. Items run small compared to US sizes, but watch the size chart to adjust for correct size.
Original: Only 9 of these tops were large enough to wear. Offered 30% of merchandise and keep the too small tops. The order was for $340.00 and I was charged for shipping when it is advertised as free shipping. Very difficult to come to a comparable settlement. I definitely will not order from this company that is located in China.

Your sizing guidelines give measurements for the t-shirt size but then the shirts arrive and they are larger than the measurements and many of them have neck openings large enough for 2 necks! Also, the one order contained 3 L and 2 XL shirts and it was suppose to be 5 L shirts and looking back, somebody changed the size on 2 of the shirts. I have emails to confirm that they were all suppose to size L (ie - I ordered 5 M shirts and then emailed and requested that they be changed to 5 L shirts and the response was "no problem", but when they arrived, there were 3 L and 2 XL). Your offered resolution to these problems was totally unfair and the complete opposite of "customer service", and I say this compared to other companies that sell similar products such as "The Mountain".

The return policy is terrible. I ordered a simple white dress from them for my wedding. Used the sizing chart. And at the checkout I paid a very extra shipping charge to have it delivered in 3-4 business day. There was no mention of their "made to order return policy" during checkout either. Sadly the dress did not show up in time for my wedding. Tired to get in contact with customer service (there is no phone number you can call). Sent an email and 24 hours later was emailed back by the company, that I can't not return the dress for my full return. (The package was never opened.) I do not recommend using their products.

I purchased some dresses from LightInTheBox and I contacted them because I was wondering about my purchase. They got back in touch with me. So, that was fine. I was satisfied with four out of seven. Some of the pictures looked like the fabric was linen but it ended up being almost like a satin type finish. It didn't look like what the picture was showing. Then there was one that looked like it was a longer dress and it ended up being short. It looked completely different when I got it and it looked like the fabric didn't quite match up on the seams. But there were some items that I got and absolutely love.

Navigating their site is not as easy as I would like it to be. ‘Cause when you've got a thousand items to look through, it takes a long time to look at them all. I wish there was a way they'd categorize them better. At first, I thought the quality of my purchases was really good. But lately, every one of the type of shirt that I got is showing fraying around the neckline below the stitching. Also, LightInTheBox ships substitute sizes and it's very difficult to get them returned. I had a return earlier this year and it took nearly two months. Plus, the amount that it cost to send the item back is outrageous. I had a second purchase I was going to return, but it would have cost more to send it back than what it cost to get it.

I ordered a 3 piece mother of the Bride dress pants with lace top and jacket. It arrived 6 days later. Top way too small and pants way too big. I wear a size 24 and this usually fits. I sent to return for refund. They ask for pictures which I sent and then they ask for tags to see if their supplier shipped wrong. Sent a picture of this also. Only size tag was wax attached to top. Not on clothes themselves. They responded not able to refund due to fact custom made. It was not custom made. Never asked for measurements. Also received in 6 days from order. I wish I had read previous reviews. I would advise not to order clothes. Especially For special occasions. I think it is a rip off. I spent $200 On day I received. It's now $150.

Pant suit fit perfect except was too short in the body. I read all reviews and did not find any length or body measurements with this item. I asked to return for full refund and then was told I need to return it to China. It cost me more to ship it than it actually cost. While there were some issues early on in the ordering process -- it seemed like my order got lost in the shuffle due to pandemic complications -- after dropping a brief note to Customer Service the dress was quickly made and shipped to me soon thereafter. I recently received a little novelty light that arrived crunched and in pieces. It only cost a small amount and was not worth the hassle of trying to return it for a refund. Is that the strategy? I was very disappointed with my order. I ordered my wedding dress according to the exact measurements of the size guide. My dress came in entirely too small as well as other issues with this dress. I was only offered a partial refund due to them saying it would take 5 weeks or longer for them to receive my return and process my refund. Regardless of the situation it wasn’t my fault and I should have received a full refund for that dress. Instead I had to settle for a partial refund and then telling me to gift the dress to a friend or family member! This is not a prom dress. This was in fact my wedding dress.
My wedding is literally in two months and I have to start all over. I have ordered from Light In The Box before in the past and I’ve never had any issues. Also when advertising these dresses maybe consider advertising different races in the dress. That way the different races can get a feel for how the dresses would look against their skin tone. Due to me being ** the sheer material on the dress looked completely different against my skin tone. Instead of sheer it looked more yellowish! I will recommend light in the box for other items but not dresses.

I ordered two knee sleeves. I have severe arthritis and they are helping me a lot. Good quality and well made. I would suggest that you order a size above, as they fit rather tight. They will loosen with use. I am 120lbs and have not got fat legs. I ordered a large. I would have liked to try an extra large, which I may do in the future.

Ask to exchange dresses. After 5 different emails they expected me to measure the dresses because they didn't fit right, take pictures of label, take picture of dresses, take picture of measurements just for an exchange and did it all and still have two useless dresses and out 40.00 dollars. Original: I ordered a beautiful gown that did not fit after waiting for it six weeks. Tried it on. Didn’t fit. I contacted customer service, they verified by me taking pics the size on the gown, but I measured myself, they would no take the return back after I paid $224.00. I went back and forth according to return policy, they still wouldn’t take it back, I ordered because of the policy. Do not order from China. Now I’m stuck with this gown that I can’t wear. In reply to my review of 8 June 2021, I received a response from customer service. It took a while for them to actually receive the returned goods once they arrived in China and process the return (perhaps more patience on my part). But my purchase amount was refunded. They also agreed to refund my shipping cost for which I am appreciative (and awaiting). In as much for the materials of the clothing, I perhaps should have been more diligent in my reading of the description; I nor my partner wear polyester (thinking they were nylon). All resolved and that is why I've changed my rating to a 4*.

I purchased men's and woman's cycling clothes. I received the product in a timely manner....that's the good news and all downhill from there. The material was mostly polyamide and the odor was of a petrochemical smell...neither was satisfactory to me. They do not list this material in their items' description. I explained this to the company in an email. The said ok to return the materials but they would deduct their shipping costs to me, and I would have to pay the shipping cost to them. They provided me with a return address to CHINA with instructions! Nonetheless, I decided to ship them back (outrageously expensive). I provided the original order # and tracking # to them as requested. I followed the tracking and items were received by them but no refund to date nor any correspondence from them. My advice if ordering is to plan on keeping it. Good luck.

LightInTheBox is a decent website for my shopping needs. One of my friends recommended it to me after having a positive experience. The prices are competitive and lots of stock available. I have ordered 2pcs 60cm Universal Car DRL LED Strip Flexible Flo... Length: 60cm Light Source Color: White Yellow. 2 for CAD $ 15.05. But the package came with a box containing 2 strips and a bag containing ONE strip only, and as you can see in the Order No: #** of 2021-04-29, I had ordered 2 pair of the strips and received only 3 strips instead of 4 as you can see from the picture, the box contained 2 and they are already installed but I can't install the single one of the strips because the law requires that a day time running light is on both sides of the vehicle!

This company is absolutely ridiculous and steals money from customers. They advertised a shirt as a men's 3XL and the shirt that arrived was a medium or large (at best). I contacted them for a return and they made me take a ridiculous number of pictures to indicate the sizing. They claimed the shirt was within an acceptable size range (they said their shirts are based on "Chinese sizing"), even though we own MANY shirts in 3XL that were made in China and are all within the same sizing range (which is much bigger than the crappy shirt they sent us). They told me if I wanted a refund I would have to send the shirt back to China on my dime and that it was most likely going to cost more to ship it back to China than the actual price of the shirt.
They offered some kind of ridiculous "reward" - 40% of the cost of the shirt (which would have been about $4.50) or a refund of 30% of the cost of the shirt (which would have been about $4.00). So this is a scam. They send you something they KNOW is not in the correct size and then tell you it will cost more to send it back and they "offer" you a fraction of the cost of what you paid. They essentially kept $13.00 free and clear. That may not seem like a lot, but if they do this to about a thousand customers, they end up with $13,000.00 quite quickly and easily. My guess is that they are doing it to far more than just a few customers though.
They are probably doing it to many more -- think about it, if they did this to just 10,000 customers, they clear $130,000 quite quickly and easily. They provided a product that was clearly not going to be the correct size, they ensure that the cost of returning the item is either equal to, or more than, the original cost to the consumer. So they "offer" some other options that still ensure they keep the bulk of the money. That is the very definition of a scam.

I like LightInTheBox's website. It's really easy to navigate. The prices are really good too. I have other sites I go to that are similar to LightInTheBox and they take way longer to get the product to me. It's really good how fast LightInTheBox delivers the product. I ordered a mother of the bride dress for my daughter's wedding and I was really pleasantly surprised at the nice quality of it. I was really happy about that. When buying online, you have no idea what you're getting and sometimes, a lot of the clothes are very inexpensive and are made of very thin material. I purchased shoes from LightInTheBox and asked about a return. The shoes didn't fit but that's just part of the experience when you're buying shoes online. I would tell friends and family to check back often to LightInTheBox because there are constantly new sales and discounts.

To put it simply and keep this short. I ordered an in-stock clothing item from this company. When the item arrived, it was too small. I followed their size chart and have experience ordering from companies located in China. They product came too small. According to their return policy I should be able to return the item within 7 days of receipt. However, they simply stated that my purchase was custom (**; it was not!) and I can “give the item away to a friend or family.” At first, I thought it was some sort of error, maybe they got my ticket confused with another. But that was not the case, they actually made up a reason to not honor their own return policy that ironically is not even applicable as their site says any product in original packaging with original tags can be returned for any reason whatsoever if the customer is not satisfied.

This company gives zero indication what they are talking about with the sizes. I have bought many beautiful shirts made in China, and had no problem with the shirts being too small. These companies are pro-active in stating that their sizes are true to American or Western sizes. In addition they state clearly: eg. CHINESE XXL - US XXXXL to clearly distinguish between the two regions. So this 'LightInTheBox' have not even bothered to take note what other companies in the industry does to make things clear and avoid all this confusion. I can only conclude that they're doing it on purpose as a money making strategy. They're saying that it it is my fault that the shirts don't fit!
I'm not clear what they want me to do. I am not very computer literate and I don't understand who I can communicate with. I felt bewildered and confused after receiving this purchase, because the only contact was a phone number in Beijing China. I couldn't find any customer service available from this company anywhere on the internet or with Google. They seem to be sponsored by Google but Google has no customer service either not in any shape or form. I spent hours and kept going around in circles. If this LightInTheBox company doesn't know how to conduct their business in a professional manner they should be shut down and not sell clothing in the US or Europe and then hide away with no means for a customer to contact anybody to address problems. It states clearly on Google that the Lightninginthebox customer service is shut down.
I was charged $45 for shipping so this a very expensive purchase. I made a terrible terrible mistake to do business with such clandestine and shady company AND WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN. And I would like the public at large to be warned about this company everywhere. I am going to try to find a computer expert to do this for me on the internet, so that not more people are deceived by these people lying and stealing the way they have with me.

LightInTheBox failure to retain trkn #. Item in Calif last week. Not delivered yet. Shipped May 10, 2021. Ordered May 24, 2021. How can it ship out prior to being ordered? Order + payment date: May 03, 2021. This is 2nd order placed. 1st order: two yellow bikinis. May 02, 2021 paid for ~ not received ~ no longer shows in LightInTheBox orders. Shows: two dresses at $8 & $6 received May 15, 2021. Count 4 at total $75.52 (2 dresses $6+$8=$14 totalled at $75.52!). Only 2 items inside package. 2 paid items 'disappeared' from LightInTheBox: 2 yellow bikinis ordered May 02, 2021. One bikini's style continues to be shown in catalog: not sure how your "Add images" functions.
Another order received: all but one item so tiny only a diminutive child could wear them. Given to a lingerie shop. She hasn't customers that small. She said she has had problems with LightInTheBox (& no longer orders there) & heard from others bad reviews about LightInTheBox. I showed her bikinis ordered before they 'disappeared' from orders list. She said sizes typically come in too small from China. One needs to order at least two sizes up. I said I used inches chart, not centimeters. Her reply: "we will see their fit after their arrival." Out of all items received only 1 dress actually fit.

I had ordered two of the same case. 1-pink, 1-black. The black one fit perfectly, but the pink one didn’t fit. It was the exact same case and it didn’t fit. I ordered these and paid express shipping. It cost almost $40 USD for two phone cases and one didn’t fit. I was rewarded 1.06 for the case that didn’t fit, a very sad reward for an item that I had to pay over $23 USD in shipping to get. I’ve had to file refund/reward tickets on every order I’ve made except for 1 maybe 2. I’ve got a box full of brand new items that I bought that don’t fit, don’t work, broken, or completely wrong order.
Yes I could take them to a buy/sell establishment but I didn’t order-pay- wait for weeks to get, to have items I lose money on and have to sell at a discount to someone else. It would be nice to get the right item and not have to worry that two of the same item could actually be completely different. But I still continue to buy!! I’m waiting on an order right now. And more than likely something will be wrong and I will lose money again.

First before I ordered I looked to see if you had a US address, you did, however, guess not for returns. I paid $30 to ship and then sizes are not US sizing. I ordered an XXXL according to size chart. I am US size 10 and product was so small. Couldn't hardly get past my knees and upper leg. Secondly, products order we suppose to be tummy control and material was so thin it wouldn't be able to control nothing. Now have to ship back and shipping charges are over $50 to China. My suggestion is do not order from any foreign order house where they do not have an US address where items can be returned at a fair price. I have deleted them off my computer and sent to spam. Entire order was falsely advertised. Customer Service is very hard to reach and outright dishonest. Very poor quality products, contrary to presentation on website. Many products said "cotton" or "cotton spandex" in description, but they are labeled 95% polyester and 5% spandex, at least the ones which had tags. Many had no tags, but they are the same low quality material. Also, the close up pictures on the website showed very neat, high quality and nearly invisible stitching, but the items all arrived with very sloppy, obvious stitching. Necklines all fall unevenly, not as in pictures on website. Printing qualities on garments are much lower than shown on website. Many "prints" are actually just a piece of thin plastic, like plastic wrap, stuck onto the garment.
They answered a review I wrote on another website saying they would like to make a full refund, but that my credit card company would not permit them, which turned out to be a lie. After proving to them that my credit card company confirmed that they would gladly accept a refund, and spending hours providing them with their required documentation, they finally offered a 50% refund and suggested that I donate the clothing. So publicly they said they wanted to make a full refund, but privately they offered 50%.

Their return/refund policies are set up to benefit Lightinthebox and not the customer. It costs more shipping a return than the price of products. The refund they issue consists of only 35% of the full amount paid to them and a difficult process in even getting that amount back on your credit card or Pay Pal account. The products are shoddy and cheap as well.

Updated on 06/02/2021: I wrote a review previously about a smart watch I purchased that does not work. The manual they provide me with cannot be used with the watch they sent me. I have written several times to their customer service department but all they do is make promises but do nothing to resolve the issue. I spent $75 for a watch that is no good. After contacting Consumer Affairs LightInthebox promised to rectify the situation but now they have closed the complaint ticket I had with them without solving the issue. THIS APPEARS TO BE A SCAM. Accurate - I paid via PayPal, confirmed shipping address. Invoice from LIB had previous address. I wrote my concern that I live hundreds of miles from where you shipped it. Wrote twice. I purchased five dresses- none of them fit and one had an uneven hem to boot. When I tried to return them (within the 7 day return period) I was informed that although I had simply ordered a Size 8, the dresses were made to measure and therefore could not be returned. They informed me that the measurements of the dresses were published on their website and that I should have been more careful and checked them before ordering. However, when I measured the dresses they did not conform to the published measurements. In fact the measurements were out by 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" on all garments (either hips were made too small or bust was made too large) so I emailed them back. They then requested dozens of photos. They deemed most unacceptable at first and I had to retake them using strict guidelines. I had to provide 4 measurements from the INTERIOR of the garment for the bust as well as measurements for the waist and hip.
Some photos were requested as often as 3 times over the course of our 13 email exchanges. My photos clearly indicated that measurements were different from those published on their website. Still they refused to authorize my returns. Finally, in one email they acknowledged the following: "For the peach dress, we are sorry that it does not match the size chart." I replied that I assumed they would now issue a Return Authorization Form. I haven't heard back from them since! I have now reported this company to my credit card company for fraud. Perhaps they will have more luck.

My experience with the company was excellent and I have placed a second order. I did have a little problem placing the order via Computer but I viewed that as my unfamiliar activities with ordering online. The bike jerseys that we received are very cute and have good quality. It was received in a reasonable time with tracking. Customer service was prompt in replying emails. Prices for the items are inexpensive. The complaints that I have are 1) the discounts are very confusing and misleading so don't count on being able to use them 2) they tag on quite a few additional charges at checkout like $$ shipping for each item, tax, insurance so be prepared for that.

I ordered 4 products from LightInTheBox - 2 x cycling jerseys, 1 x cycling socks, 1 x cycling shorts. Shipping from China to Hong Kong took about 1 week.
- 1 cycling jersey acceptable.
- 1 cycling socks acceptable.
- 1 cycling jersey (size S) needed changing to size M. Customer service advised not to return but to give to a friend and get 20% discount off the replacement. Replacement arrived size OK but the dark blue/black jersey had a white zip - the photo had a black zip. Waiting for Customer Services to advise.
- 1 cycling shorts (size L) needed changing to size M. Same process - give to a friend and get 20% discount off the replacement. Replacement arrived size still too big. Am I supposed to give these away and re-order?

I was looking for a fanny pack. I found it at Light in the Box. I spent a little more than the competitor. I received the product when suggested. That's when the problems started. I tried the different options available to keep the bag around my waist. The belt would not stay snug around my waist, it kept falling. I contacted the company and first they told I was out of the 7 day warranty period. I responded by letting the customer service rep know that I was within the 7 day period. Then customer service said that the only way I could get any kind of refund was to send the product back to China, suggesting that that would cost more than the product.
They also offered a reward towards another purchase. Why in the world would I want to buy anything else from this company, when they took my money for a inferior product and hide behind the shipping costs to avoid refunding any money. I had the opportunity to buy another product which I really liked, when I noticed it made in China I put it back. Not a fan any more.

I am fair on my comments. I spent total of $178.24 on my orders over a few days span. All I am asking for is for the company to send me the right size on the eagle print & the one with cat paw across his face. That I ordered in "SIZE LARGE" & you sent size "Extra Large." Shirt print that had the cat clinging on front of shirt with big blue or purple eyes is the "ONE" I ordered & you sent me the one with cat sleeping. Shirt that had saying on front the printing was peeling off and stuck to packaging. Was sent the correct size but it runs very small for extra large. To fit correct it should have been x-large or even xx-large. "All I want is to get the correct sizes and and not damaged print on the one shirt. LITB has the best leggings my wife just loves!!! No one has anything even close to as unique, vibrant, and great prices. I ordered 2 size 10 wedding dresses. There was a 7 day no questions asked return policy which is the only reason I ordered from them. They are not custom dresses, simply size 10, but they won’t refund my money because they are saying they are made to measure dresses. In addition, the dresses run extremely small and aren’t accurate with the measurements they had on their website. I filed a complaint with my credit card company and they will be investigating the matter. I will never order from them again because the website is incredibly misleading as far as what you can actually return. I never sent the company my measurements, so I’m beyond angry that I spent over $300 and now cannot return them.

None of them are sized correctly. All are basically size SMALL. And the workmanship on other items in these orders is substandard (poorly sewn or made of material other than described on your site).

Customer service is a real issue. Their customer service uses an AI translator to communicate. You can tell they are translating English into Chinese before even attempting to understand an issue. They write their response in Chinese which is then translated by another AI. So much is lost in translation that communication is very awkward and inconsistent.
The other issue is the clothing sizing is a wild west scene. Anything goes. I have gotten XL product in which I couldn't even fit into. Returns are impossible and massively expensive to ship back to China. They only give you a partial credit if they get their sizes wrong which is about 50% of the time. I bought a few electronic and durable items from them and the products failed pretty soon after using them. Again trying to return or get credit back is a major headache and very expensive. After trying these guys out for about a year and a half I am to frustrated to deal with them again.

I ordered 3 dresses during pandemic, and hoped to find one that was correct color and fit. I ordered by clicking standard size 10 and the color represented in advertisement. Upon their arrival I immediately attempted to exchange for correct color, and was refused with your misleading standard statement “We verify that this product belongs to the class of products that cannot be returned or exchanged because it is considered to be a product made to order”. The dress was NOT made to any order other than your own standard size 10. Two of the blue dresses I ordered don’t match the color Blue I need, and I’m not sure how I came to receive/order a white dress when I wanted dark navy blue.
I welcome consideration for me to return all 3 and to exchange the one white dress for the same exact dress but in dark navy blue, and in your standard size 10. This company did an awesome job resolving the issue I had. The package arrived. The boots are beautiful. They were too small and the company is working with me to exchange for a larger size.

I placed an order on April 3rd For a pair of white boots. I still have not received them and all I get is the run around Saying that it is in transit. My other 2 packages that I'm waiting on have been sitting in Jamaica New York for a week now. I am so fed up. I placed several orders with your company for things that I coulda bought in the USA And already had them but I thought that I would give your little company a try. I am very sorry that I did.

The prices are ok but the shipping is extremely expensive. 2 of the items are nice and fit well. 1 item is very poor quality and is also somewhat large. 1 item is very large and is decent quality but isn't nearly as nice looking as it looked on the site. I could return the 2 items but at my cost for shipping. I was given option of 15% refund or 30% discount of purchase--my choice, but must be used within 3 months and purchase twice its value. I understand I am keeping merchandise, but having to purchase twice its value is a lot to expect, considering I will have to pay the expensive shipping again as well. This was disappointing since I have referred a lot of people to this site after they have seen merchandise from here (especially our face masks).
