UPDATED 5/08/2021: After about 2 months of waiting for my order, I received an email that my package was received at my local post office but would be even further delayed because of package backup/delays. I know several people who work there and there were no delays. Now it's being stated my order was left on front porch, I don't have a porch! Please issue my refund promptly.
UPDATED 4/1/2021: Scam. I cancelled this order at least 3 times. They claim to have shipped part of this order, never received anything. They stated it was shipped via FedEx, so now I received an email claiming the package will be further delayed because of back up at my local post office. Figure that out when it's coming through FedEx.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I placed and paid for this order on March 9th. The order did not ship as told, it's still processing. I have cancelled the entire order at least 3 times. I have asked for a full refund and to date have not received my refund to my card.

The sizing is very unexpected. I always wear a size Small, and in this case, I need a size Large. I initiated a return, but Light in the Box did not reply to give me a Return Authorization number. They advertise that they have an easy-to-navigate return policy. But in my case, I could not make the return.

We received our couch & chair covers with pillow covers not long ago from “Light in the Box”, and they are very colorful, lovely texture, and were easy to put on. We noticed that the chair covers we’re a bit big for our chairs (as they are smaller lazy boy chairs) but with some tucking we’re just fine. The pillow covers are simply delightful in the choices of design & texture we choose. The one pillow cover has developed a small hole already at the bottom so perhaps they weren’t stitched up tight enough at the factory?! Maybe some extra time in this area is necessary?! But overall I would recommend “Light in the Box” to others. They we’re just what was expected and more. Have a Lovely Day!

I have gotten 2 shirts and a hoodie from LightintheBox. Twice, my order arrived quite fast, once it took a long time. Covid and the slowdown in shipping worldwide is the culprit though. All of the items have unique designs which I have only found here, and the prices have been VERY reasonable. Shipping prices suck, but that's out of their hands. Even with shipping, I would have expected the items to have cost at least twice as much. Overall great experience, I have recommended it to friends.

I've received clothing that I pay for, didn't receive what I ordered. Clothing sizes are not consistent and didn't fit. There is no returning the product due to them being in China. So you have to eat shipping and taxes to reorder the item if they give you credit. Not happy with service but I love the shirts.

Just as pictured. Love!! Shipping cost is high, but compared the cost of art & shipping elsewhere, it costs less. Arrived undamaged. One frame behind stretched canvas was warped, but I used Velcro wall tabs to hang it and it looks great.

I ordered 8 rings and only 4 came correctly. One ring was the wrong color, another ring was not the correct size and 2 cheaper rings were sent instead of the 2 rings that I had ordered. I was never notified of the substitution of the 2 cheaper rings. It took 7 weeks till I received my order so there was plenty of time to notify me. I also noticed that many times when a ring was shown and you looked at the various photos to show it from all sides, a different ring would be in the lineup and that would be the ring that you would end up getting. They use bait and switch techniques.
When I wrote how dissatisfied I was with my review of their products I received an email several days later telling me to send pictures and the bar codes for each ring. Most of the rings were sent loosely in a brown envelope with no bar codes and the rings that did come in a tiny pouch with a bar codes were thrown away days before. I didn't pay much for the rings but I won't order from them again.

I received an email on 3/15/21 That my $20 rewards will expire on 3/18/21. There was nothing in the email regarding restrictions. I have not placed the order because I cannot even get into it to edit it. It shows shipping charges and insurance of $15.58. I did not ask for insurance. It shows rewards and credits of $18.36. That is not all of my rewards. And now it shows I have an eight dollar balance of rewards. I know that $12 of rewards were not used on this order so I am questioning why $20 rewards were not used on this order? I feel this is false advertising. And I’m not going to place this order.

On several orders my items are always tied up for days and days in one location in New York. The tracking status is very seldom updated and just the frustration of waiting and waiting for items that should have been received in ample time. Transit times are terrible.

I placed three separate orders over a period of 6 weeks. My first order was being shipped from China, so I didn't expect it to be arriving any time soon, but after 4 weeks had passed without any communication as to its tracking history, I began an inquiry, to which was responded to in a timely manner. My second and third orders arrived within three weeks. The quality of the products was middle-of-the-road...not over-the-top or below-average. I really liked the "out-of-the-box" items on this website.

Ordered 2 Smart Bracelets, shipping was fast. Setup for watches was fairly easy, although the instruction pamphlet was brief. Easy to use, frequent disconnect and reconnect needed. Watch bands are very comfortable, someone with large wrists will need longer bands. Charging is easy, but watch does not display correct battery life (always says FULL). Screen is very bright and easy to read. It needs more detail in the data logging...for instance, in the SLEEP section, it lists beginning of sleep and then the end, no time references between there.

The plants look real at first. I was kinda mad as the picture in the advertisement looks as if the plants are in a planter already and I looked back at the picture and couldn't really tell. However I did get the plants that I wanted and they look great. I would ask that more description be given to the product as this happened with my projector I purchased as well it advertised playing a song and it only plays music with additional hook ups so more description and less misleading or uninformed information would be great and again I love my purchases and will continue to shop with this site.

I had no problem with the quality and price. Only hiccup was the length of shipping time and that is to be expected because it was coming from CHINA and it had to go through U.S. Customs. Quality was good and I haven't had a problem yet. Although I haven't used all of what I ordered, if what I did received and have used works, I think the balance will too.

Took multiple emails to get working link to track shipment for order. Kept getting excuses for bad customer service. Speed of order to even get to point of shipping. No option for faster speed to get item. Last time ordered, didn't get product in ad online. Got partial refund. I ordered and expected a wood cheese cutting/serving board. After I complained online I received this message from LightInTheBox: "After checking, I found that your order still in transit, I can fully understand the importance of gift arrive in time. For apologies about delay, if you can first help us change the rating on Trustpilot to 4-5 stars and let other customers know that the case is being taken care of, we will request a direct full refund CAD 83.26 for you immediately. And when the package arrives later, you can keep it as a free gift. Is this solution acceptable to you?" They did refund me and the package did arrive.

Original Review: I purchased 3 dresses from the site, and as soon as I opened the bags I was disappointed. All of the dresses was made with a costume like very thin material. Even though I followed the size chart none of the dresses fit. I contacted Customer service and they suggested that I sale, donate to family or take to a 2nd hand store to avoid postage return cost to their location in China. They offered me 30% off next purchase.. Save your money people. This place is a money making hustle for Americans. I will never shop hear again..

I am extremely disappointed in this company. I made a purchase online for some items then I decided to cancel 20 minutes later and ask for a refund not even receiving my items. The Faucet set is very good quality. BUT one of the faucet handles is Loose/Wobbles. I could not get Lightinthebox to understand, I needed replacement of one handle. So I accepted a credit and ordered a new set, but I should have been able to get a replacement handle only instead of spending money on a new set. I tried to send a video but site did not accept. Language barrier caused frustration.

I am very disappointed with this company. I ordered a painting 6 weeks ago, and still not received it. The explanation LightInTheBox is giving is that the package is with Canada post. However, the tracking number provided by them shows that there is a label created, and they never shipped the product. I am suspected that this is another fraud, and I strongly recommend not to buy from this seller.

I ordered a set of running clothes for $22 and paid 17$ for shipping. They sent me no e-mail or receipt or follow-up. 11 days later the package arrived with a men's sweat suit that wouldn't fit a teenager. I wear an XL but ordered an XXL just to be safe. I couldn't even try it on. It was so small. I ordered it according to their chart on their website. Maybe people are smaller in China. I should have ordered an XXXXL. I tried to call but their mailbox is answered by a computer which tells you to e-mail to serviceheadlightinthebox.com which doesn't exist. I tried chatting and they couldn't find my order. I gave them my e-mail phone number and the chat said they would have someone contact me. Never heard back. OUT $39. In my opinion a total scam with absolutely no customer service. You buy it you own it. Don't say I didn't warn you. STEVE

I live in Saskatoon, I recommend this company in online shopping, they are actually fast in delivery, their products are very high quality, they have nice behavior. When I wanted to change my earbuds after it broke, I sent them an email, they replied after 12 hours which is great, and they apologized a lot to me and delivered me a new version for free even if it wasn't their mistake.

I ordered my order on February 22nd and later that day it was "shipped". I still cannot track my order and I have been trying to get into contact with customer service but their replies are very vague and do not provide any information about tracking. I also had issues when I first ordered because I couldn't log in due to me paying straight from PayPal. I don't recommend ordering from this company. As of today (March 1st) I have contacted them 6 times, some of which about the first issue. My order said 10-16 days shipping which makes no sense that I cannot track it by now seeing as how it has been 9 days since it was "shipped" I also read reviews after I began to worry that it may be a scam and many people said the quality of their order was bad. I hope to get a genuine response from their customer service team within 48 hours, otherwise, I will be requesting a refund.

My blue long sleeve jersey came a bit slowly but I expected such with COVID slowdowns. The jersey is very comfortable, zipper quality is great and works fine. Material is great for upcoming spring rides. The anti-slide band around the bottom of the jersey keeps the jersey from riding up, I appreciate that.

I would highly recommend this site. Everything is excellent and beyond good quality. The materials and the colors are amazing. You just can't go wrong. Don't let your ego swat you from placing orders. If you were a small and you have to go up a size go for it!!!! If you wear a large and have to order xl who cares. Order it!!! Follow the size chart and you won't be disappointed. I ordered a beautiful black and white sweat and it looked pretty nice on the page but when it arrived it was gorgeous beyond words. As I have said before the prices are so low. Just give the item to someone or donate and order another. As a matter of fact if you think it looks nice...wait till it arrives. So much better in person.

I ordered leggings. Going off the size chart on the website I ordered medium. I never received an receipt directly from the company like I have with other companies. Once I received the package, in a timely manner, I tried the leggings on to find they are too big. Understandable since they are stretchy. So I had to search for a way to contact the company. Only way I found was an online contact form. I filled out my form and never heard back. I wanted to exchange for a small. I am big on customer service and this company has very little.

This product was purchased as a gift to replace a lost commercial endoscope. Hopefully, it will do the job well, long-term. It arrived in surprisingly short time and in good condition (all long-distance shipments seem to suffer somewhat from rough handling). I don't expect any problems.

I will now buy from online stores such as JJsHouse who have better return policy and that look after their customers better. I brought a generic sized dress (size 12). I did not see the tiny made to measure information at the bottom that told that this dress was non-refundable (I found this to be hidden on the site and had to ask where it was). Once I decided to return it I was told that that would be at my expense - JJsHouse does place the return expense on the customer. I was given a 50% refund even though I wanted to return the dress for a full refund (again I do not see why postage for a refund at my expense). I will not recommend this company to anyone as it does not look out for its customers.

The fit was wrong—nothing like the photo, the lining fabric was extremely heavy and the color was off. However, they will not accept a return/refund for these reasons. Do not buy unless you have tried on the exact same dress somewhere else. But that would defeat the purpose of online shopping. Never again will I buy from this store.

I received my order but was dissatisfied. Although I measured and followed the guidelines for sizing the coats were still too small especially in the arms. Consider this when ordering. Also the jackets I tried were not meant for very cold temperatures. After contacting them I was offered a full refund and would refer others due to good customer service and fair treatment.

I followed size guidelines but fits tight. Mostly the thin material is not what's shown in picture. The photo looks like warm insulated coats but they are made of costume material. I wouldn't buy these at a local store if I saw them for any price and I have no use for these cheap knockoffs. I'm looking for a warm winter coat to wear in cold weather and have tried 3 so far. None of them would work below 50 degrees if even that.

I haven't had a terrible experience. But the sizes on the website are not correct at all. I'm a large in US sizes for shirts. And according to the size chart that's what I was supposed to order. I ended up have to order an XL and XXL to figure out I need an XXL in these clothes. Also my package got lost in the mail. I was refunded the amount but was charged for it to be reshipped. The shipping company refunds the shipping cost to the merchant if the shipping company loses the package. So I know this is a fact and got charged anyway.

Company demands returns go to China at consumer's expense to be considered for refund. Items cost $105. Shipping items to China cost $98, which means $7 refunded if I sent back. They are a ripoff and take advantage of consumers. DO NOT buy from this site. All hype; no service.

My first time to order from LightinTheBox (11-28-20). Wish I could leave a good review. 1st the shipping time was well over 2 months. (Late for birthdays) 2nd I received notification that some of my order could not be fill 3 plus week after placing the order. 3rd one of the shirts with a wolf was substituted for a dark and scary wolf shirt. (Poor idea. It was a gift for a granddaughter). 4th sweat shirt picture was not sharp THEN 5th it was shipped in a bag and the box that the toy was was in was crushed (Toy ok hard to wrap as a gift). No directions to be found. Will not recommend this business at this time.

I made 3 separate orders. Totaling 10 shirts. I ordered all of them large. Only 2 are actually a large size that fits. Shipping was way too long. Going to donate the shirts that don't fit as it's not worth it to me to try to send them back and waste money on shipping. Will never order from them again. I just wasted over $125 dollars.

Very disappointing products. The size of their clothes was either too small or too big. The fabric was quite cheap for the price paid (40 dollars per article). The shipping time took more than 6 weeks. If unsatisfied, don't expect to get your money back through their refund process. They will ask you to ship the products back to China with certain conditions that will cost you more than the product itself. They will also offer you another solution to give you 20% rebate on another order (to take more of your money with more bad products). It's overall a very disappointing experience. I will never do any business with that company. I strongly advise you not to do business with them.

Purchasing-wise, the process was easy but return-wise, it was too complicated. I wear size small. One of the shirts I bought was size small but it was long. It was made for a tall person. I gotta send it back to China and I didn't want to go through that process. So I just kept it. I'm not even using it. With the return process, I doubt I will be purchasing online through LightInTheBox again because I'm purchasing what I like but when it comes home and try it on, it doesn't fit. There's no way I can try it on before I buy it.

I bought 2 dresses from LightInTheBox on 20 November 2020. I paid for expedited shipping (16 days). The package never arrived. I then received a message saying that the package was back in China. I am unable to track where the package is and the package was never delivered. The company is not providing a refund even though I have been begging for one. I keep getting an automated response. LightInTheBox had the style of pants that I wanted and it was at a good price, so I got a pair. This was my first purchase from them. I just wanted to see how fast they were gonna get it here ‘cause I know Wish takes a longer time. But because of COVID and other stuff, it took a little bit longer for the item to get here. I bought this jersey for winter mountain bike rides, and it is very warm. I wore it on a night ride when the temp was in the high 30's, and I was actually too hot. I wore it on a day ride this past weekend; temps were in the low 30's with 15+ MPH winds. I was comfortable all ride. The jersey is a little stiff, but it is softening with washings.

Diving Fins Waterproof Diving Neoprene is what I ordered. I went kayaking and they weren't remotely waterproof unfortunately. I nearly got frostbite, and will have to curtail winter activities due to getting either the wrong equipment or terribly manufactured equipment.

I am very happy with the shirts I ordered, but very, very dissatisfied with the mirror wall decoration. It came to me broke. The vase was broke, the vines were broke. The wall mirrored decoration came in a plastic bag and not a box. The size was not what not was shown in the web page. I feel it's a very cheaply made wall decoration and over priced. I will never order a wall decoration from this company again. Next time some one ordered a wall decoration, "make sure it's in a box not a plastic bag".

I purchased a wedding gown for my daughter. While it arrived in a timely manner, it was a total disaster. Fabric was supposed to be chiffon, they sent net. Bodice was supposed to be nude sheer, it was ivory & same fabric as the skirt. Sleeves were supposed to be chiffon & flowing, the were several layers of stiff net. Pearl trim was completely wrong & improperly sewn. Bride couldn’t raise her arms. I sent them pictures of the issues & they offered me a 30% discount & I would need to get it fixed locally. Told them absolutely not. They then offered me 50% discount & I get it fixed locally. Dress is unfixable, it needs to be remade. They refused to make it as pictured on their website. They finally agreed to refund my money if I sent the dress back. It cost me almost $80 to return it to them. Just waiting for my refund & reimbursement. And we’re back to locating a different gown. I’d love to provide pictures but I don’t see anywhere to add them.

I want to give a thumbs up to the managing department of LightInTheBox.com. Personally I'm usually skeptical on purchasing products online but these guys didn't disappoint me. First off the pricing was what I would call a 'giveaway price'. It was cheap and very reasonable. Secondly the quality of the products was topnotch. I was expecting a product that would be roughly packaged with little or no care but that wasn't the case. Their product arrived perfectly packaged, neat and appealing.

I am writing this review to warn anyone who is considering ordering from LightintheBox.com. DO NOT make the same mistake that I did! Back in November, I ordered some t-shirts and hoodies as Christmas gifts. They never arrived. I received an email a couple days before Christmas saying my package was being reshipped to the sender because Lightinthebox did not properly include my shipping address on my package. When I reached out to Lightinthebox about the situation, they told me I would have to pay for additional shipping costs again in order for my package to be resent; yet I did nothing wrong. Why am I being penalized for something that LightintheBox did? This makes no sense!
I have reached out to LightintheBox's customer service numerous times, but to no avail. Every time I emailed for help and further inquiry, LightintheBox customer service provided vague responses and never answered my questions. I got extremely tired from all the back and forth with Lightinthebox’s customer service and asked for a refund. This was never provided. The last two emails I sent to their customer service never received a response. I am honestly done. I have no choice now but to speak to my credit card company. Hopefully they can help!

This jacket was not even close to a Men's Large, and was closer to a Boy's Large. The Express delivery charge was $20, and arrived several days late. In order to get a refund of the purchase price, the item must be returned to China and paid by the customer. Extremely poor customer service.

I was looking for a different kind of T-shirt for my husband and I saw them in LightinTheBox. There were two T-shirts that I ordered. I had a little problem trying to track them. I got a thing saying that it left China and then I didn’t hear anything for a while. I thought that we weren't getting them and then all of a sudden, it came. It was at the distribution center and we’d be getting it in a week. Other than that, the T-shirts are very nice and soft. My husband liked the feeling of it.

I purchased this for my daughter at Christmas. When it arrived it did not fit. I attempted to exchange or return. Due to their policies this was not a great option for me I felt. HOWEVER I received an email from the supervisor of the customer service department apologizing for my dissatisfying experience. She offered me a few options to remedy my discontent. She went above and beyond to make me happy and for that they have a dedicated customer now!!! I love their products but the customer service is what sold me. I would recommend them to anyone. LightInTheBox seems to have a lot of variety of things and the prices looked really good. Their website is pretty easy to use and I like it. I’ve gotten clothes for my grandchildren, infant and teenagers from them. I also got a few things for myself and I was able to find a pair of shoes for a wedding that I could not find elsewhere. I've purchased from them about eight times and I have had no issues with any of the items. I’d tell my friends and family that they have to try LightInTheBox. A lot of people are a little skeptical about things that are coming from overseas, but I’ve actually ordered from them and have stuff get to me sooner than if I mailed something myself to a family member.

So far I have placed 2 orders from LightInTheBox, the first order was sent to my PO Box even though I I’m satisfied with my items they weren’t entirely correct. 3 of the rings came in the wrong size and one was supposed to be a 925 ring was horrible and very cheap looking. After I had order this it was delayed and by the time I received it my grandson had had a growth spurt and it was a little small. He is only able to wear it maybe a month, if that. I told Lightinthebox.com on review about it and they either said they were sorry or else they gave me no response. I really can't remember which. I was a little disappointed that they did not give me some kind of credit toward another jacket. I know it is not their fault that he had a growth spurt but to keep up with good customer service I feel they could have given me a credit. Maybe I'm wrong.

The products all clothing have been fine and worth the cost. It is just the shipping that it will say 7 to 14 days but that is after 10 to 14 days to ship and then still gets stuck somewhere each time so it is usually 25 to 45 days to get what you have ordered.

I saw some kind of sweater when I was doing something on the computer and it was an interesting style. Then, I found that it was from LightInTheBox and since then, I ordered a lot of stuff for many years. What I like about LightInTheBox is that there are a lot of very interesting styles. I am a Russian from Europe. When I grew up, it was custom for us to get dressed very well. I have this item from LightInTheBox for 10 years and every time I'd to a store or something, people would tell me that I looked good and ask me where I got it because it was unusual in style.
Lately, I've noticed that it has changed a little bit. I ordered some things a couple of times and it was horrible. In the picture, it was a thick coat in brown color. It looked so good and I paid about $70. But when I got it, it looked like a bathrobe and it was really disappointing. I couldn't even give it away. I just put it in the trash. If I got these things and I didn't like them, I never sent them back because it'd headache. You need to send them to China and you never know to whom to talk. So I just give to somebody or to poor people. But some of the shoes’ styles there, like the platform I've bought, are now very fashionable. It’s a huge platform and wherever I go, everybody asks where I've bought it. You can’t find it in any store in California, especially leather.

The wig was not even close to the color or quality in the photo. The hair on the wig was shiny, synthetic, ugly, fake looking, like what you would see on a cheap doll. The color was supposed to be platinum blonde with several different dimensional colors but instead was an ugly yellow. Went right in the trash as they will not refund. Even the length was wrong. I should have known better and checked reviews first. I even took a photo of the wig and uploaded it with a review. They DELETED my review and photo. Do not buy from this company!

The order of men's slippers was 10 days later than promised. The quality of the product was very poor. Not worth the money paid. Also still smells of glue. I've had nothing but trouble in trying to get a refund and have been told to keep the product and they would refund me 20% of the cost. Why would I want to keep something that is substandard. I ordered these on behalf of my daughter that has Learning Disabilities for her dad for Christmas. Very unhappy, not recommended, never had so much trouble trying to get a refund for a substandard item.

I purchased two kitchen mixer taps from Light in the Box. On installation both were found faulty by a certified plumber and not fit for purpose. Since then Light in the Box have done everything possible to refuse responsibility and provide a refund. They asked me to send the taps back to them which I did and then denied this even though I have email proof. When I left a one star review on another review website they tried to bribe me into changing it to five stars. I seldom leave negative reviews, but I have never come across such a dishonest and untrustworthy company as Light in the Box. Please save your hard earned money and buy elsewhere.

I ordered several items more than a month ahead of the time I needed them. They were meant for Christmas presents for family we were visiting out of state. Contrary to their delivery warranty, the items arrived way too late for us to take them on our trip for the intended recipient. On our return, we found the items had arrived and rushed them to our kids for them to find out that the size did not fit (we went with their size chart) for some of the items. They return them and I proceeded to ask for return and exchange instructions.
Light in The Box answer was that they did not met the offered delivery dates but their policy stated that there would be no exchange or returns after 7 days of delivery (which, thanks to their failure to deliver in a timely manner, put me in a situation that took me over 10 days to have the items sent and return to my children). They suggested to give the items away to somebody else or to donate them to a charity. As an act of kindness they offered a $7 reward for a future purchase as compensation. (Like there was going to be another time I would purchase from them, that is real optimism). I advise other customers to stay clear of this vendor.

I ordered shortly after cyber Monday and they were really fast to ship my order. However, Canada post was then late to deliver the product due to high volume and Covid 19 procedures but Lightinthebox gave me a 10$ discount to compensate and I was able to redeem it on my next order. The app offers bonus points for checking in daily, but often says you are already checked in when it clearly says you've received no points yet for that day. The app offers you 10 bonus points for posting product reviews with pictures, yet when I posted 8 different product reviews, all with pictures, all 8 "failed censor review" and the 80 points were taken away. Yet upon second look none of the reviews had been taken down, none of them had really even been changed, save that someone who didn't understand American English had butchered them by removing key words and substantial amounts of punctuation, making parts of them hard to read.
When I emailed customer support about the first issue, I never so much as received a response. When I emailed them about the second issue it was once again responded to by someone who didn't understand English well and was sending me a generic response asking about order information as if that has anything to do with my reviews being "censored" and my points being taken back. I will not be using Light In The Box in the future. There are cheaper, higher quality services out there that provide the same products.

I bought 5 shirts. 3 of the shirts fit very well. The shirt with the owl was a men's small. It was too tight on 11 year old girl. Other hoodie was among us, it was same size category, 8-10. It was visibly smaller than other 2. Shipping didn't happen until I threatened to cancel order, then made it here in 5 days. It was after Christmas and I had to replace them with another present. The hoodies are very nice and I know sizing is not always consistent. No way to try to exchange the hoodies that I can find.

I found your app very hard to navigate. I got no email from you until I repeatedly asked for it and never got a email order receipt. The order tracking that I got after repeated asking was in Chinese and therefore useless to me. I ordered in November and it made it just before Christmas. Returns are at my own risk and expense. I took the 30% refund. You need to be more helpful with refunds if you want repeat customers. I will never order from you again.

I ordered a pair of shoes, hoodies and a pair of shorts. Shoes were poorly made, very cheap, with tears on the seams. One hoodie was not sewn correctly on the pockets and was torn slightly. Pair of shorts were wrong size. I informed merchant about shoes and was told they would reimburse me for half price. Since the shoes were useless, this was not acceptable. Light in the box has informed my credit card company they sent goods and all is well. Not the case. I mailed back the damaged and incorrect items and now have to dispute the charge and fax copies of all paperwork to my credit card company. This company in China ships very poor quality products and offers horrible customer service.

I purchased a silver ring for men, they sent me a fake ring made from stainless steel instead of silver with a different shape than the shape that I ordered. When I talked to them to return it, they told me to send it to China for my expenses and it is my responsibility to do that. They do not mention on their website that the return should the responsibility of the customer. It was my first and last time that I purchase from those scammers when they offer something and send something else with poor quality to people. I purchased a men's 2XL winter coast from them and it said it was a 2XL, but it fit my 16 year old 95 lb 5'4" daughter. I asked to return and a refund. They sent me an email stating that it would cost more to return the coat. The coat cost me $75.00 after taxes and shipping and handling. Why would the return cost more than the coat? I have never heard of a return fee being $75.00 for a purchase less than $100.00. I ordered two shirts for XMAS. They arrived late. The shirts they sent were not even close to size. One shirt was marked XXXL (3XL) and basically, it was a large in US shirt standards (L). The second shirt was marked XXL and it was a medium (M). When I tried to exchange, return the product, Light in the Box told me I would have to ship it back to China at my cost and mentioned I was better off giving the clothes away. I feel they intentionally send clothes out that they know is not sized correctly and that the consumer has no recourse. Don't buy their products!

I've made two orders on this site, one November 19 the other November 27. The first said shipped the next day (Nov 20) the other the following week (Dec 2). Here we are into the new year and according to the tracking both packages entered Hong Kong (Dec 21 and 26) and seem to have disappeared into a black hole. After extending the original shipping times after order, there has been no update since arriving there, with one already passing the extending shipping deadline. Who knows how long these things will take to get to Canada at this point?

Sweatshirts and T-shirts are made of CHEAP polyester material that recommends dry cleaning only. I will never order from this company again. I paid more for faster shipping. However, to them that means faster shipping WHEN they get around to shipping the order. I ordered the items as Christmas presents. That didn't work out for me. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Because this junk would have to be returned to China, I will just throw it away. Expensive lesson learned for me.

21 days after ordering an item, the USPS shipping label for it indicates that it still has not arrived in the US. This item was ordered on December 10th as a Christmas gift. The site advertises 7-14 business days, so it was a holiday risk, but this is abysmal. Contacting the company, they indicated today that it may still be 7-10 days from delivery. I don’t order items that are pre-made with the expectation that time to expedite will be a month or more. If the site indicated that shipments originated from China, I would not have taken the timing risk. I suspect it is literally on a cargo vessel somewhere waiting to be unloaded from a container full of items. Buyer beware.

The website doesn't mention anything regarding a Chinese company, I don't want to purchase from such a far away country. The sizes weren't correct, the quality of the merchandise was extremely poor, the shirts have no labels in English. Duties ran 50% of the invoice amount. In order to return the goods, it would have cost more than the purchase + all costs. To sum up, this purchase was a disaster, the company isn't structured to sell in North America and I would recommend buying at a real store, the cost would be lower or even the same, but it would fit you well, the quality would be seen immediately and in the worse situation you could return or exchange, unlike in this case.

I ordered items from them a month early for Christmas as they came highly recommended and while l understand that during this time of year shipping can be notoriously slow. I contacted them after seeing that my order had been saying ready to ship since Dec 7th and it was Dec 15th. They said that it went out and that l should wait 7 days, 7 days past and still it didn't move while all.the other things that l ordered after they arrived. I received robomessages from them and l could tell they were robomessages because not one of them addressed my issue. Now here we are 30 days away from when l originally placed the order and tracking is still saying "Ready to Ship".
I checked with postal service they investigated and said that they never received the package. When l contacted them they stated they would refund me shipping cost in the form of a credit towards another purchase.. What an insult!! I was searching for some stuff online and LightInTheBox came up as one of the vendors. At the time, they had a better price for one of the products that I wanted than the other ones that I've seen. I will recommend them, but there's also room for improvement. It would be easier if they had more details. I didn't know they send stuff all over the world. The thing is I ordered something and I asked for US outlets, and they sent me European outlets. They told me, "Yeah. You can just go buy. It'd be cheaper for you to go buy one, and faster to buy an adapter to convert it." But they don't sell any here to convert from European to US, only vice versa. So I went to go look for one.

Slowly the watch lost functionality. Constantly failing to pair with IPhone via Bluetooth, tap screen function not holding selected item, screen developing vertical lines and in the end not having a readable display makes this product "Not fit for Purpose". Product came with an instruction booklet which had a 1 year manufacturing guarantee. The company "Light in the box" has only a 30 day return/exchange policy. Not worth to do business with a company that walks away from a written guarantee that offers and sells product with such questionable quality. My ticket ID complaint with them is ** the 28/12/2020. Their answer was, "Sorry but our 30 day policy is clearly stated." No reply why the written 12 month guarantee is not accepted. I recently purchased 2 shirts for my husband for Christmas. They did not fit so I TRIED to return them. I was met with an email stating that the return had to be requested within 7 days of delivery! It was a gift that I bought weeks before Christmas so that was impossible. Placed order, and paid, then two weeks later got a notification that the most important part of my order was not in stock, two weeks after paying for it. Contacted them and cancelled the order, but later that day I got a notification that the order shipped. The following day I was e-mailed by a supervisor saying I can't cancel the order since it had been shipped. The shipping date I was given was a day later than the other one. I was told that due to the high cost of shipping they advise I just keep the order. This has happened both times I have tried to cancel an order. Their response was to give a 15 percent off coupon that requires I spend at least 50 dollars to use. Won't use LITB again or recommend to my friends or family.

I did not look at the size chart when I ordered a winter coat. It was too small. I asked to return it, but LITB advised me the shipping to China is more $ than the coat and they would give me 60% of the coat $ in a discount for another coat. Smart and a good deal. I bought this light at the end of November. The company asked me to pay via their site even though I'd already paid via PayPal. I queried this but did as asked as they claimed not to have received payment. I eventually received an email confirming shipping, but also with links to the same product now on sale for a fraction of the price. Pretty galling. The delivery date came and went. Then I heard it was held up at customs. A number of emails later, I discovered I had another £75 to pay in customs charges but they wouldn't help me pay it, or tell me who to pay out to.
I still haven't received the light. But I have now discovered that they have taken the payment both through PayPal and via my credit card which I didn't give them. On contacting them to query the double payment, they just quoted the order number and told me it was payment for this but did not offer any further assistance in getting a refund. I now have to raise a dispute with my credit card company. I am fully regretting buying from this company - this light has now cost me nearly £1000! Avoid at all costs!

On searching for a Mobile Phone cover for my Samsung A31 phone, I chose a phone case advertised by Lightinthebox which specifically stated "Samsung Galaxy A51 A71 A91 A81 A41 A31 A21". I must admit that the delivery was quick - within the 3 - 5 business days stated. However, when I received the phone cover, it didn't come anywhere near my Samsung A31. It was too small and the camera aperture was in the middle of the cover not on the left hand side. I immediately tried to send through a 'receipt of purchase' in order to have a 'return or replacement' ticket issued.
Earlier complaints of poor Customer Service with this company is true. It took days before I was finally able to get to someone with my request. They were quick to reply - however, they said that the product delivered was the product ordered and there would be no refund. They offered 10% off a future purchase. They were right in that the product shown in the ad was the product delivered - only the product advertising was false. I am now out of pocket and stuck with an item I cannot use.

If you have a problem with the product or just want to return a product, the customer service it is horrible. May I repeat again- horrible. I have been corresponding with them over email for a month and I am either ignored or they just keep answering me with the same questions. For one product they promised to credit my card over a month ago and have not. Now they are asking me (yet again) if I want a credit with them. This question had been asked and answered-no!
The 2nd part of my order was 2 faucets that arrived and did not match. After many emails, they sent me a replacement and now I have 3 that do not match! Their latest response was, would I like a partial credit with the company? No!!! I want 2 faucets that match or a full credit. This was not my error, it was theirs. I got on the chat link and they assured me that I would not get answered with a questions and someone would be in touch with me in 24 hours to resolve my issues. Well, they were in touch --with you guessed it-- a question that was answered numerous time before. If I could rate them a 1/2 star I would. The only reason they would get a 1/2 is delivery is quick! I ordered through LightInTheBox.com a T-shirt that I just saw. I thought it was frickin' cuter than hell, so I had to get it. Ordering went fine and the website was alright. I received the shirt and I love it. The shipping was a fairly decent timing. It was about a week. The shipping price was fine and I was happy with it. I've actually recommended the site to a couple of my friends and they've looked at them. The prices were still a little steep, but they were not bad. I wouldn't mind shopping through them again. I've been looking at other stuff. It's just money's tight.

Don't be cheated by Light in the Box. It's been over 2 months and every reply gives me a different solution. Give it away, sell it to a relative, donate the coat. I was ordering dresses from several companies during covid. The dress from Lightinthebox came too late. I immediately e-mail them to find out how to ship it back. Two weeks later and 7 e-mails I still don't have my refund. They first told me they would gladly refund the $14 dollars in shipping and I could give the dress away. I said, "No. I want the refund for the $100 dollar dress." Then they offered 50 percent refund. I have said no. It takes them a day or two to respond to each of my e-mails. They said if I returned it to the return address on the package they would not refund any of my money. This place is so unprofessional. Buy somewhere else!!

I've purchased with LightInTheBox a couple of times in the past three to four months. I like the price versus value. If there's something that is here, it's over there. If the price is better, then you get the item. If the value was comparable, then that'll move you to potentially look that route again. Based upon the item that you get back and you inspect it, if the quality is decent, then that would move you to look at that as an option again for the future. Conversely, if the quality isn't good, you're probably not gonna go that route. LightInTheBox is good. There's always a plus and a minus of different things. But it all depends on what you're looking for like if it's available, price value, and so forth.

Updated on 12/14/2020: I bought products from LightInTheBox and when some questions arose from product, customer service was very helpful and fast in responding. First experience with a webshop is very vital in future purchases and I think LightInTheBox has gained my trust. It is convenient to buy products from them and I recommend them.
Original Review: Total fraud!!! Avoid shopping from them. Deceptive return policy. Bought curtains from them, but they were not according to our expectations, so we decided to return the package. Were in contact with them and received an email that we must return within 7 days to their warehouse in China + the package should not be opened and must be intact! It is impossible for curtains that you want to open and check if they fit. Anyway I sent according to what they described in the email, within 7 days after we received the goods and to their warehouse in China. Received email afterwards that “We have been notified by DHL that you have refused your order and are asking them to return to the sender. Unfortunately, the return was rejected," plus "We can not refund to you."
Now we are responsible for 3 costs: The curtains themselves which are 2700 SEK + customs fee: 1163 SEK + return cost: 1149 SEK. I will never buy anything more from them, do not recommend them to anyone at all. Be careful with them!!! Amazon and Zappos are successful because they have good customer service. But LightInTheBox does not understand it!

Without a doubt the worst customer service I've experienced. They do not correspond with their customers regularly or follow up. I had made a purchase, which never arrived. I was then offered a credit, which never materialized. Keep getting told it needs to be checked by their finance team to be approved. The most incompetent people I've ever dealt with. I was quite skeptical when buying because there was no reviews and they seemed like cheap quality. I was wrong. The string is not flimsy, the lights are bright, colourful and easy to use. My favourite feature is using the app to play music from my phone and having the lights dance to the music. I love the option to change the brightness and speed on them flashing. Overall, I love these lights and I am very impressed with the quality!

I ordered 2 3D sweatshirts and a pair of skater jeans early enough for Christmas, in the event that the sizes were not accurate, which does happen with internet ordering. I was a little surprised at the $25 shipping fee, this is covid so I was okay with the cost. My order arrived about 14 days later. I was under-impressed with the 3D design as it was marketed as a very impressive 3D sweatshirt. Not only did it not show as 3D, the size was not as it was stated on the website, and yes I did match their chart to what I needed. I wrote the company for a return tag for two sweatshirts and pair pants, which were not sized correctly either. This is their reply:

I appreciate that they are attempting to be helpful, however taking a loss of $50 of a $125 order. The $22 credit is great, that would cover shipping for another order that I would take a risk on with having sizing issues, quality and not able to return with ease. My advice would be buyer beware. I placed an order and paid for the Expedite Service $32.66 for 3-4 business days shipping on 11/01/2020. The packages were not shipped until 11/28/2020. I asked for $32.66 refund that did not show in my bank statement even up to today. After numerous online message back & forth, still no luck. I don’t recommend this company. They lied! They do not honor their “Expedite Shipping Service”. They also lied about refunding my $32.66 because my bank statement (November and up to today (12/7/2020) does not show they refunded me the $32.66. I even spoke to the my bank’s customer service if there is any pending refund of $32.66.
This company, Light in the Box lied. I’ve been dealing with someone named Rui **. He’s adamant that the $32.66 was already refunded back to my account. He even sent their company’s tracking number (in which does not apply to me) because it’s their own record. Rui ** asked to get copy of bank statement. I refused to show because it does not show the refund and personal/private/financial information are in the statement itself. So I refused to his request. I did offer to settle the $32.66 with items replacement in lieu of the refund. Rui ** refused and adamant to see my bank statement. So, I am very unhappy, dissatisfied and disappointed with Rui ** especially with Light in the Box. My personal experience with this company is terrible. I have documents to prove my statements here. I do not recommend for everyone to Patronize Light In The Box. Thank you.

Although I had to return the items with "out of country customs forms" and standing in line at the post office for 30 min, I got my money back. They have explained that their review system has bugs and they can't promise it will be fixed. So consumers still can't leave photos and unfavorable reviews aren't calculated in their overall rating. I'm raising it 1 star because of their responsive, friendly customer service. Once they fix all their bugs in the review system, I'll update with another star.

I ordered 3 items from this online store. Some of the online pics were misleading but the reason I'm here today is because this company only includes favorable reviews in their overall star rating. 2 items were rated as 1 star and 1 item rated as 2 stars. I tried adding pics of the actual items received to let consumers know exactly what they were getting. The pic attachment area says pics must be a JPEG file and under 2MB. My pics ARE JPEGS and waaay under 2MB. Each one was only 107KB. This means they don't want future customers to see what the items really look like in person.
For the one item, it had one 5 star review (very basic and could be fake). After I added my 1 star review, all the websites still showed the item was at 5 stars. If it was calculated correctly and honestly, the overall star rating should be 3 stars not 5. This is a sneaky way to do business. Lastly, the shipping is OUTRAGEOUS!!! This ended up being a regretful purchase. Too expensive to return items. So I don't want others to wind up in the same boat as me.

This website is a total scam. I ordered two tops. One is casual, another is a blouse for work. On advertised items description it says ‘cotton blend’ and ‘spandex’ accordingly. I have received two poor quality garments made from polyester and without brand tags. The pattern on a blouse is different (dots are much bigger compare to the image on website and the background is darker).
Complained to their Customer service which is terrible. I was getting a standard reply to my detailed complaint simply suggesting I pay for the refund postage (also stating the brand tags must be on) and offering rewards instead of refund. None of my questions were answered, I sent a complaint to a supervisor as suggested in their email because all my tickets were closed without resolving my issues. I think their policy is not to give money back under any circumstances. The supervisor sent me a similar to customer service standard email and disappeared. I wouldn’t give even one star to Lightinthebox website because they fool people. They are fraudulent, don’t waste your money!

Updated review on 12/16/2020: My money was simply taken and nothing was sent, only given promises over 2 months then order expires. They then ask for more money to make what they call an expedited delivery or cancel the order without any refund.
Original Review: I ordered a dress on normal shipping which they said would take 5-10 work days. It has been 40 days and nothing received. I kept tracking and communicating with customer service with no result. After 40 days they said the ticket expires, hence the money was taken yet no item was delivered. On the other hand, I had ordered from other companies based in China, around the same time, all are delivered by now.

Updated on 01/14/2021: First they gave me $56 credit for clothes that were the extreme wrong size. I accepted the credit. Then the next order of clothes were the same way. So I wrote to Consumer Affairs, it got Lightinthebox attention. Rebecca with their Management department got involved, she said if I retract my report she'd reimburse me my money and not have me return the clothing. I accepted. So, I had a credit of about $56 from the mistake before, after all of that was said and done, I went back to use my credit and light in the box took it from me and won't return my emails or phone calls. This lightinthebox.com company is a scam company with Rebecca on the controls. If you do business with them you get what you deserve.

I just think it is unfair for the customer to be required to pay for the return/exchange of an item, especially when it comes to clothing. What was more frustrating was when the cost to return the item back to the manufacture costs more than the original price of the item and they suggest you sell or donate the item you are now stuck with.

I placed a order on June 29 2020 #**. Paid for express delivery. When I received the order it was shipped regular shipping. When I complained I was told they would refund half of the shipping back to me as a credit on my LightInTheBox account. When I went to use the credit it wasn’t there. Again I contacted customer service. They told me it was returned to me debit card on July 20 2020 which never happened. I was then told it was a mistake and it was on my account. To this day I don’t see it refunded to my card. Not on my account. I have found the identical items on eBay for less money. Delivered in just 5 days.

I loved the colour of the jacket that I purchased but a) I thought it would be lined. It was only thin and b) the size I measured and ordered was generous around the shoulders and chest but at the hips level it did not do up. Too small. so very disappointing. The T-Shirts that I have bought from here are of fantastic quality for the cost. The only down side is the sizing is very small compared to ours in the UK. Make sure you order the biggest size (about 4 x bigger than normal to be safe). Delivery is of average time for goods coming from China and such.

I purchased a sweatshirt that I thought would be cotton. It was nylon and screamed cheap. I am unable to return because no one can help with password reset. I am told to send back to China. This business has no phone number and no customer service and I received a canned response to my request for a new password in which they want me to take a picture of the item and wait 3 days for a response. Then when I do I have to send to China. I wish I had never ever gotten involved.

I received the adorable Kids Active Basic Horse D Animal print long sleeve hoodie and love it. I purchased this for my great niece who is 8 years old. She was thrilled with smiles from ear to ear! The shirt is a polyester blend with large horse head print, black on white with print front and back and is beautiful. Sizing is perfect. I ordered an XXL in the Kids/Toddlers wanting the shirt to be a bit roomy. Olivia wears a size 10 and this is perfect. Gives a little room for growing. Being as I am from the United States, the package took a couple weeks to arrive due to customs, etc. I believe that is fantastic delivery time for all that packages have to go through with customs, and with the pandemic hindering mail to some extent.
