I want to exchange the item for the correct size. If that is not an option then I would like to return the item back for a refund. Instead I was asked to provide photos of my body measurements (Bust, Waist, Hip). This is unacceptable.

Not sure what kind of industrial film this company uses to make its shirts but it can't be healthy to wear. Feels like sticky, sweaty industrial plastic wrap on your skin. Wonderful graphic design but terrible, terrible fabric quality. And refunds? Fuggedaboudit.

This was a first order from this company. I worried that the fit or material wouldn't be great, but it's so comfy! I ordered a medium and it is a hair loose on the top because I'm typically a US small in tops and medium to larger in bottoms. I'm 5'9" and 146lbs. The inner shell is very soft and the outer sequin layer isn't too heavy. I'm so happy with it!!

The Acacia bike seat is high quality but it was not comfortable for me, so I wished to return it. Although this company's standard return policy is for the customer to pay for the return shipping to the country of origin and would have been costly, their customer service department provided excellent service by working with me via several email exchanges to provide a solution that I was very happy with.

I ordered and received an Acacia dual-pad bicycle seat which I found very uncomfortable, so within 2 days of receiving this item, I requested a refund via this company's "7 Days No Reason Return" policy. Their Customer Support email response said that I was responsible to pay for the return shipping charges - to CHINA!!! The email further explained that the shipping cost to China would likely be more than my refund, so they offered I keep the item and get a 10% refund for a future purchase. So, even if I ordered something else and wanted to return it, I would be in the same situation with that item. I will never do business with this company again. In a separate review, I suggested this company make it very clear to all customers BEFORE they place an order of this "hidden" return policy. Think they will do that?

I'll never order from here again...I ordered some MEN'S joggers and when I received them they were barely big enough for women to fit. I paid $54 to have it shipped to me, then when I wanted to return it, it was going to cost at minimum $80 to send me back, which is a damn ripoff. Half of the refund I would've gotten would have been spent on returning the products alone and that isn't right at all. Like I said, I'll never order from here again.

I ordered a cycling suit for my husband for Christmas. It did not fit and I wanted to exchange it. Well, that did not work at all. LightInTheBox forced me to keep the item stating it be too expensive to ship it to China for exchange. This product it useless to me if it does not fit and now I am stuck it, with 20% of the price of the item returned to me. The exchange was not an option for this company. Do not order any clothes you think may not fit!!!! You will be stuck with it. Terrible customer service! The item did not come from China but that’s where they wanted me to ship it back at my own cost and refused to provide the address. I will never use this site again and I will purchase what I need on Amazon.

The quality of most of the items was subpar. Didn't know earrings were sold as a unit instead of a pair - who does that? Shipping costs high. Return process too cumbersome and frustrating. Each item has to be processed separately and request pictures of poor quality, fit, etc. How do you show poor quality in pic and are you supposed to wear and show how bad item fits or that zipper doesn't close. Option for the one item attempted to EXCHANGE was keep and we'll issue 10% discount because it will cost the price of the item or at least half of cost to ship back, 20% merchandise credit (why would I want anything from this site) or return and wait too long for a credit, if any, after shipping costs etc reduced.

Made two orders for two and four sweatshirts from Lightinthebox on Dec. 2/21. The four sweatshirts arrived on Saturday, the 18th and the two arrived Dec. 21. I didn't think they would arrive for Christmas delivery but they just made it. The DHL delivery charged me $54.47 for customs fees while the second parcel by Canada Post had no surprise charges. Apparently my $54.47 will be repaid to me soon. The shirts are not of the sweatshirt quality that I expect, thin. The delivery took too long and had me anxious.

The robe I ordered arrived in a timely manner, which was great. However, it was not as shown or described. When I contacted the seller regarding a return and refund, I was offered a very low percentage refund and to keep the robe as return shipping would be costly. I am not happy with this offer: it does not make up for the fact that I will have to purchase a different product and will be stuck with an item I have no use for. I have asked for a 50% refund but have not heard back from the seller yet. I am attaching 2 images - one from the website showing what I expected the robe to be like and one of the robe itself. You will see that the robe is very sheer compared to what is shown on the webpage.

I ordered 3 pair of CLIP earrings and did receive the red ones in a clip, but the other 2 were NOT CLIPS. I sent you a form about this, but never heard back from you. It is simply not worth the effort to go thru to send back the non clip earrings, etc. as they were very inexpensive, however, I was very disappointed.

When I placed the order there was nothing stating a delay in processing. I paid extra for expedited service. I then paid another $16 to expedite the service faster. The order still has not arrived and it is needed by January 1st. This is for an important event. The dress I ordered for myself the same day arrived with no extra shipping. This is very upsetting. I don’t know where I can find a dress similar near me for my daughter.

I placed an order for a number of items, one of which was for wrapping paper for Christmas and Birthday. They did not work out and Lightinthebox is going to give me credit for both items. Everything went very well between the buyer and the seller. This is a good place to purchase from as they have unique products. They are also willing to work with you when something does not work out with an item you have ordered.

The wrapping paper I received is unusable as both sheets are folded multiple times then placed in a cellophane wrapper then folded again in the large box containing everything I ordered. The 2 sheets of paper cost $22.60 and are not usable. I had hoped that you would have given me a return voucher to send these back to you where I would not be charged for shipping and would receive full credit for the 2 items. Instead you gave $2 something for each sheet. That is unacceptable.

I absolutely love LightInthebox for tights, however I was surprised that I had to pay duty fees. I got my tights on sale but now it defeats the purpose. I had to pay almost $40 in duty fees. I highly recommend them but next time I will only order one at a time as they get mailed this way

I ordered two dresses from LightInTheBox.com over 2 weeks ago. The first dress was an off-the-rack item that has a 'Tailoring & Handling' time of 2-5 business days, but upon inquiry as to why the dress has not been shipped after 2 weeks, the company stated that I was only entitled to a 50% refund as the material has been cut but the dress is not complete. The dress should not have needed tailoring if it is off the rack, and it should have been complete at the 5 day mark and on its way at this point. So I can only get half my money back because the off-the-rack dress hasn't been made yet even though they didn't send it within their own handling time frame. I am being punished for their crappy service.
I received an email about the other (made-to-order) dress I ordered stating that it is out of stock. How is it out of stock if it has to be made? Why isn't it already being made or completed after 2 weeks? Why am I just now getting a notification that the dress is no longer available after waiting for 2 weeks??? The company is either being dishonest about these dresses being made-to-order or about the tailoring time. Either way, I had to order a dress from another company to receive one in time for my event.

I ordered a coat from them in early November. I was charged on my PayPal account within a day. I still have not received the coat. Every time I contact customer service they sent me an auto reply message, and tell me to try and troubleshoot my order. There is nothing to troubleshoot. They need to send a coat or get back to me and refund me accordingly. I will never buy from them again. Terrible, terrible customer service. If I could give them a lower rating I would. They don’t even have a number to call.

This is my second and very last time using the service of this app! They just lie about delivery. Just don’t order because your order will NEVER come on time. My first order was a costume for a party and it was saying a month and it took LITERALLY ONE YEAR. I even forgot about it. I had to buy a new costume. Imagine, ONE YEAR! Now I gave another chance thinking that maybe I was unlucky. I bought a pyjamas for my daughter she asked for Christmas on the Dec 10th. It was saying very clearly 24 hrs PROCESSING TIME AND 3-5 days delivery. Well we are on the 26th and I still didn’t get the pyjamas. She cried saying that Santa forgot her Pokémon pyjamas. This app is just a waste of money and very disrespectful. I already told my friends and my whole Instagram about this. Never buy with them.

I've enjoyed everything I've ordered on this and all my past orders. I think Lightinthebox has a great selection and the prices can't be beat. The only thing that holds me back from ordering more often and on all the sales, flash sales, clearance items...etc. is the shipping. I have to wait until I have enough items on my want list to make it worth it because the shipping is so high. Fix that problem and Lightinthebox will be my go to on everything I purchase online.

I have placed 3 orders in the last several weeks. I am pleased with the clothing/tops I ordered. However my entire lingerie purchase was a total mistake! I ordered 4 items and I used the sizing chart - on each item individually - not a generic size chart. All items were at least 2 sizes too small 4-6 inches less than their own chart stated. I don’t understand how they cannot see this. I complained and they said they were sorry and stood by the sizing shown as accurate??? I can’t return lingerie per their rules, and if I want credit I have to pay $$ to ship back these pieces, that are their fault.
I just threw away $100 trusting them to give accurate info on their website. I won’t be foolish enough to ever order any lingerie items from them again. Everyone should be aware. I repeat, the other clothing I ordered I am happy with, but the lingerie is not acceptable as far as their sizing, and the quality was average at best. A mistake I will never repeat. Customer service was far less than understanding or helpful!

Extremely pleased with the orders I placed. The selection is unbelievable. I have so many options on colors type sizes. They make it very easy to order plus they use PayPal which protects me. Shipping is very fast. They keep me informed on my status. I was amazed at all the choices available for unique and fascinating shirts. One tee had a cat coming out of the front that was a dead ringer for my son’s cat Max. My son loved the shirt and the two others I bought for him. The delivery was a bit slow in comparison to most other websites. I did appreciate the fact that the delivery was through the USPS. That way they were able to be put into the mailbox where they were out of sight until I was able to get to them. All in all, I would recommend this website to anyone looking for something interesting and unique, as well as other clothing that looked nice as well. Prices are a bit on the high side, but the products bring MANY SMILES to recipients’ faces.

My bank texted me a fraud alert after I submitted this order, so initially I planned to cancel it. I was contacted by a great customer service rep who not only convinced me to give them a chance, but provided a discount for doing so. All of my items arrived in a reasonable time period and all were as described. I will order again at some point, I'm sure.

I ordered a jacket off their site and followed their size chart. The size chart was completely off and their support was also completely wrong, because I contacted them before purchasing and they told me their sizing was accurate (using listed measurements). Their return policy is awful. I had no idea that the item had to be shipped back to China - I could have ordered the same item for less from Amazon including free shipping and free returns (which I only discovered after receiving the item and looking for a replacement). This is what they offered after I followed their sizing chart and their support - which was totally wrong.
"Based on our experience, the costs for return might be the same or half the price of your parcel, even by using the cheapest tracking service in the post office. So, returning to China may not be the most economical option. Instead, we suggest keeping the item. We would like to propose the following offers:
a) Keep the item and receive a reward of 20% of the product's value.b) Keep the item with a refund of 10% of the product's value.
c) Return the item back for a refund. (this option is only for RETURNABLE items)"
This is a Chinese company marketing to customers outside of China, failing to make clear that they based in China and that returns are essentially not worth bothering with because of the cost.

I ordered 3 items according to their size chart. (I normally wear a US size 6 and ordered the XL according to their size chart.) The 2 tops fit but the bottoms were too tight, and too short. They are dragging their feet on me returning the bottoms to exchange for a larger size. I sent pictures and waist/hip measurements. This process is ridiculous! Taking much too long. Very dissatisfied!!!!

I have placed several orders over the last couple of years and am happy with the products. They are as advertised (dress sizes run small) and are good quality and well priced. One time I did not receive a dark green gown I ordered but overall service has been good. I have not had any extra fees on my shipments.

I ordered a 3 piece mother of the bride outfit on Nov. 3, 2021 and sent custom measurements. When it arrived, the 3 pieces were way too big. I wrote a 1 star review and included some photos. I was contacted by the Lightinthebox customer service rep (Bloo) who confirmed that a mistake had been made at their end and that they were willing to replace the set free of charge.

My mother-of-the-bride outfit arrived in good time. The fabric, color and sewing were all good. However, the sizing on all three pieces was completely wrong despite my having sent custom measurements which had been verified to be accurate by 2 other people.. The sleeveless top fit at the shoulders but was at least 3 inches too big at the bottom below the waist. The pants were so wide they looked like a clown's pantaloons and were 4 inches too long. The jacket was too wide at the shoulders, too long at the back and sides and the sleeves were at my wrist instead of 3/4 length.
I took my outfit to several dressmakers to see if it could be fixed since returns are not allowed on custom orders. The least expensive dressmaker was charging $250 because the pants and top were lined and would require a lot of time to alter. I fell in love with the photo of the outfit but am very disappointed with the actual outfit received and the unwillingness of the company to fix the problem.

Don't ever buy any clothes from this "LightInTheBox"! Their men's sizes are like kid's. If you should need to return or change sizes, you need to pay your own shipping fee and ship it to a Chinese address. It means slow and costly for the returning process. They won't refund you until they receive your returned item.

This place is legit. I ordered the canvas bag and two RFID wallets. I was informed via email that the wallets were not available and a full refund for them was quickly applied to my card. I purchased a sweater, they sent me the wrong sweater. I tried to exchange it or get a refund, only to get a runaround. First, they spent a week and a half trying to negotiate with me, offering a 10% discount to keep the ugly sweater they sent me, then 20%, then 30%, then 40%. As I refused, they then wanted me to invest more money to get my $43.83 back. They really suck when it comes to business. This was clearly their error, not mine, so why should I be out even more money to get my refund, and who's to say they would do it then. I don't trust them at all. I had to cancel payment with my bank and hire an attorney to straighten this out. Really not worth the hassle!!

All the items I ordered were great. They were true to size and good quality. Some of the images are screen printed, or a vinyl print not exactly sure, but they are clear and look good. As long as they hold up in the wash I'll be happy. I even made an error in ordering one shirt and contacted customer service to see if it could be fixed. Within 24 hours they replied and fixed my order for me before it shipped out. I am in Canada and it only took a couple of weeks to get here. Overall very happy. Just placed a second order and sure I will make more.

I ordered 5 tops for $69.10. Shipping: $13.16, Other Fees: $19.87. 3 of them did not fit as described in the sizing chart so I wanted to exchange them for the next size up. In order to exchange them, I would've had to send them back to China. They have some really nice women's clothing but never again will I shop at Light In The Box.

This website does not allow me to post reviews, likely because the company likes to hide all of the issues that come about when dealing with it. The short version of my review is that this company has refused to fully refund a defective product, and so I would give this company zero stars if possible. This refusal is a clear violation of their return policy.
The long version of my review is that I ordered this dress and it arrived in the wrong color (it was supposed to be deep forest green and it is teal), and with defective construction and sewing in the arms; my bridesmaid cannot move her arms level with her shoulders or over her head at all. Additionally the seams at the arms are fraying, likely because of the poor construction. I notified this company within the 7 day return period that the dress I received is defective because of these issues, and they have refused to acknowledge that it is defective, even though I provided them with pictures. As a result I am posting this review to as many places as possible, to notify people and hopefully prevent them from trying to order from this company. DO NOT ORDER THIS DRESS OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS WEBSITE. THEY DO NOT ADHERE TO THEIR OWN POLICIES.

I ordered a jumpsuit on the 14th of September for a baby shower to be held at the end of that month. It was R300 but I was charged R545 upon checkout. My order was meant to be delivered at my door in 7 - 11 days. 56 days later my order had still not arrived, the baby shower had passed so I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Instead of them processing the refund, days later I get an email telling me to go collect my order at a post office in Midrand and I have to pay R276 to retrieve it. In essence I will have to be out of pocket by R821 for a jumpsuit sold at R300.

After posting my grievances about LightInTheBox, Jane from the company made a great effort to get back to me. Not only was she understanding of my problem, she also went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the possible resolutions. Due to this fact, I am extremely happy with the service. It appears that my impression of the company "stealing money' was wrong and that it was merely a communication problem at play.
The miscommunication that I think other South African buyers should be aware of when shopping with LightInTheBox is that the company sends the package to your nearest PEP or Shoe City store using the local PAXI service and not the local post office. If you purchase products from LightInTheBox, check your SMS inbox for a message asking you to collect a package at PEP or SHOE CITY. It apparently includes a unique PIN code that you present at the till point at the PEP mentioned in the message. All in all, I am very happy with how LightInTheBox has promised to resolve this issue.

My daughter needs her princess shoes. I realize that once little girls fall in love with shoes, you have to let them wear them before they grow out of those shoes. So, we are up for new princess shoes every so often. These are so pretty. The white sparkles so much and the bow and “diamond” are so cute that I don’t want her messing them up so fast. But I do want her to wear them! I am very happy with the soles of the shoes - they look so comfortable on the inside. This is a must since these gorgeous princess shoes have heels, and I want to be sure my daughter is getting proper support for her feet. Too cute to not wear, but too cute to get messed up. It is what it is, and she is worth the new pair of princess shoes. Easy velcro for put on and take off, and my daughter can do it herself. Size is accurate, but, go up a little bit in size if worried, since there are straps to hold the shoes on the feet.

Initially I was quite happy with this site. Back in July was the first time I discovered it and although some of the prices were enticing, I did some research before I made a purchase because I am a careful, cautious consumer. My first order arrived within a couple of weeks which was what I expected and I was pleased with the items I ordered. Admittedly I had paid little to no attention to the shipping costs but that was only because I didn't notice them. As it turned out, there was a very good reason for this. My second order was a smaller one but the shipping costs were 40% of the total purchase which in my view is ridiculous. But nonetheless, I went forward with the order and again, I was satisfied with what I received.
Today I was hoping to get some Christmas shopping done on that site but I had assumed perhaps the more one ordered, the less the shipping costed. I was wrong. I had put 6 or 7 items in my cart and when I proceeded to the checkout I was shocked to see that the total purchase cost had again jumped by 40%. I refused to go along this time and will instead shop locally.
It's too bad because I was happy with the items I had bought but I just refuse to be led to the slaughter like so many consumers these days. Online ordering in my mind is already overhyped because people fail to realize that the shipping costs almost always outstrip any savings you might have made on the original purchase. That would be like budgeting for a vacation without taking into account the cost of fuel (or air fare etc). I won't warn people away from the site altogether because as I said, the shipping costs seem to vary and aren't consistent but I can't get a straight answer from their online support. I would just encourage any shoppers to pay close attention to the shipping costs and don't overpay when you don't have to!

I ordered two clothing items from LightInTheBox.com for an event and when they arrived (later than I expected) the items were very poor quality. I did not like the items after seeing the cheap appearance and contacted customer service about returning them. Customer service told me to send them photos of the items that look poor quality to justify my dissatisfaction. After sending photos to them of their cheaply made clothing, they told me it would cost too much to send the items back to China, so they suggested that instead of returning the clothes, they could give me a 20% credit back to my card and told me to give the clothes to a friend. None of my friends want cheaply made clothes, either. They also offered me a 30% store credit with them, but who wants more cheaply made clothes from their website? Basically, I spent around $90 for the clothes and shipping and no one wants me to return these awful and disappointing items.
The weirdest part in the shipping issue is that the package was sent to me from an address in Springfield Gardens, NY. Why would I need to pay to send the items back to China? It doesn't make sense and feels like a scam. BEWARE! If you end up with items from Lightinthebox.com that you aren't happy with, you may not be able to get a refund.
In my situation, they have very stringent return policies that put the responsibility on the customer to take photos and prove why the items are poor quality. I feel like any shipping for unhappy customers should be the expense of Lightinthebox.com, rather than putting the burden back on the customer, especially when I already paid to have the item shipped to me. If you advertise photos on the website that don't truly represent the items you are selling, the cost of the return should be the responsibility of the seller (Lightinthebox.com) because they are misrepresenting their merchandise and misleading customers into thinking the items pictured in photos is what the items being shipped out actually look like and that is NOT the case at all. VERY poor customer service and poor quality merchandise!

You've made a return request, and wrote that the items weren't as expected, not as pictured as the photos on the website. You've added several photos, but these didn't show us any visible problems. Based on this, we suggested to keep the items with a 30% partial refund, or 40% credit. Perhaps the issues are hard to spot on the photos? My order was received in Canada very rapidly (within about 5 to 7 days) and passed Canada customs within a week I believe, then your Canadian shipper took about three (3) weeks in their warehouse before finally delivering it to me. Your service was impeccable but your shipper in Canada is a disgrace sorry to say. The order was fulfilled with exactly the correct merchandise and the right sizes and my wife loved them. Most items are as described and once you get used to the sizing you'll pick the correct size 90% of the time. The return process could use much improvement. A larger credit should be given if you're forced to keep items that don't fit. That will help retain repeat customers. I will not be purchasing any more from Light In The Box because I just don't trust buying from this website. It is a total hassle to get refunded for a $3 item that was not delivered, in a $150 order I purchased. They want me to send pictures of the item, which wasn't delivered, then pictures of all the other items delivered and the packaging. That is a stupid amount of time I'm wasting over a $3 item. I'm going to go back to purchasing everything from Amazon. They lost thousands of dollars of my purchases over a stupid $3 item, but if I can't trust them to refund a undelivered cheap item, I can't trust them to buy more things. I never did get a refund for the item that was not sent. Buyer beware.

The sizing on these garments are all over the place, so the consumer must rely on the sizing charts to get even a close approximation of the correct size to order. In one of my purchases, I absolutely followed the Company's sizing guide and the garment was two sizes too small. I was then told that my only options were to return it where the postage would be more than what I paid for the garment or get 10% of my $ back and keep the useless garment. BAD options. I would never order anything from them again.

For the price, materials were not what I expected them to be. One of the pockets in a pair of pants I purchased already ripped, other material is thin or similar to what would be used to make a costume cloak.. checked the return policy before ordering, due to cost of shipping they do give you other options such as discounts or partial refund which is nice.. but you have to do separate returns for all items.

I contacted the customer service straight away to return the item and get a refund. I received a lengthy email trying to discourage me from sending it back. I found it very unprofessional and disrespectful. They suggested that I would have to bear the cost of the postage which would be more expensive than the item because they are based in China. This is ridiculous. Instead, they offered me to keep the product in exchange of a (ridiculous) amount of money compared to the price of the dress. I am very disappointed and would not advise anyone to order from them as they completely ignore customers' rights!

I ordered a coat from this company. Didn't read the Return Policy beforehand. Big mistake. The product was too small and was very cheaply made. Not as shown at all. You have 7 days for returns but you need a ticket of approval by them before they will ok a go ahead for returns. Keep in mind you have only 7 days to do this. I submitted a ticket for permission for a return. I was turned down and was offered three scenarios. (1) Return shipping would cost half the price of item, so do nothing about it. (2) Take 10% off submitting pictures and video of the item showing the issue. (3) Take 20% of your next shopping order. Duh, I don't want it because of the Sizing and Poor Quality and you want me to keep it? Really that makes no sense at all. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Poor Customer Service.... Unreasonable Return Policy....

The worst online purchasing experience ever, Shipping information mostly wrong, delivery date delayed even we paid extra for quick shipment, shipping company doesn't respond, customer service of Light In The Box not helpful at all, every time a new name reply and same statement, with no solution, at the end you pay the price of your order, you pay extra to get it on certain time, but you don't get its and you keep contacting them with no result. Although I paid for expedited shipping, my estimated shipping date is past the expected time. In fact, it's 3 days past our event, so the formal clothing that I ordered is of no use to me now. I have to go out and buy more outfits since the order will not come in time. What is the point of expedited shipping then? And once the company said it was shipping, informing me of the delayed arrival, I would only receive a 50% refund. However, I wouldn't have canceled it before it shipped because I thought I was getting the delivery on time with the extra shipping cost that I paid. SCAM!!!!

Light In The Box does not tell you before you order and pay that there might be extra duties fees to pay before you can get your order mailed. No help to get the information from them or their shipper as to how much & how to pay the charges. They keep responding that they are sorry. I am not happy with their service, but did not address the issue. On top of that, when I was unable to connect to pay these charges, Light In The Box not only got the order back, (due to nonpayment of extra duty) but they also kept my $213.00.

Because you subscribed to our insurance, we would have fully refunded the amount of custom duties. We've send you a notification as well, because DHL alerted that you didn't pay the custom duties. We warned you that without your payment, DHL would consider your package as undelivered, and abandon it. Regretfully, this is what happened your order. In fact DHL offer various ways to make contact, could be done through phone, mail and chat. We are not sure which step caused problems. However it is our policy to help. We offered to send your order a second time for the payment of the shipping fees, despite that your package was destroyed and we wouldn't receive the goods back. I placed about 3-4 orders just this month and I find the delivery to be fair, takes about 2 weeks to come in which is good since I'm in Canada. I'll be placing more orders in the near future, oh yes shipping cost was good. It only charged me 10$ considering I'm out of the way in the country.

I placed an order for two fascinators, and three wigs. The problem was with two of the wigs I ordered. So overall 3 of the 5 items were okay. I ordered and paid for two Marie Antoinette type wigs. I received two wigs but they were not even close to a Marie Antoinette style nor could I make fix it to make it that style. I think I got wigs they just wanted to get rid of. I also had an issue with trying to get tracking information so it was naturally delivered while I was out of town. I fortunately was able to talk with my neighbor to pick it up for me.

My experience on Day 1 started out very positively. I checked the online reviews and majority of them are positive which is a good sign. We have a small crafting company that makes Corporate Shirts made to order and we were in need of a new supplier as we have an upcoming order that is time sensitive. We were very excited at the selection and pricing we saw. We decided to order 6 Polos as a tester to see how the process went before making our larger 300 t-shirt order.
Once I placed the order on the website I decided to pay the $35 CAD for expedited UPS Shipping (5-9) days. Which would be well within the timeframe of customizing the POLOs once they came in and providing our own delivery the client. I provided my payment information and we were off to the races and very excited that we may have found our brand new supplier. We were VERY VERY wrong. This is where the problems began. After 2 days there was no word that anything had been processed or shipped. Only that PAYMENT was processing. OK.. We're still within our timeframe. As there's no customer service number to call submit support tickets. They respond with confirmation that the package will be shipped on Oct. 20th (we made our order on October 15th).
This was our first red flag as they were now saying it may take 5-9 business days to process and then would take another 7-13 days to arrive. Now we were very close to our business cutoff for this particular order but, as it was too late to refund it without losing the shipping fee, we followed through and asked for them to provide tracking information. We were provided Tracking information on the next day. GREAT! Problem: No package attached to the tracking information. 2nd Red Flag.
Oct. 18th - We are confirmed that the shipment is on its way. GREAT! Problem: Expected Delivery Date October 26th - End of Day. This is now outside of the window from which we needed this order. We now have to go to another supplier to fulfill half this order since it won't arrive on time. 3rd Red Flag. Oct. 18th EoD - 4th Red Flag (it's a doozy). We get a text message from DHL saying that there are import/duties that need to be paid before the item can be sent. This totals $42.54 CAD. So now shipping is $80. There was no notification that we may be charge extra import/duty fees (a problem we've never had with ALIBABA or AliEXPRESS). We have officially lost the majority of our profit margin. I've just sent a request for resolution via another support ticket.
Moral of the Story: WARNING - DO NOT BUY from this supplier. There shipping estimates should be double what the expect for time to ship and also cost of shipping. The Prices are low but expect to pay waaaay more than advertised. The shipping in this situation actually costs more than the items themselves. I now have no idea when I'll receive my order as it's being held hostage by DHL and LightInTheBox in Kind. Not sure how you can make this one better other than changing the way you market and sell on your general marketplace. Shoulda went with my gut and said seems "Too Good to Be True". It is.

Products are low quality and to return them is almost impossible. You need to use specific methods to return, they don't refund shipping, and the whole process makes sure you can't be bothered. Shame on them. Use Namshi instead. They have mastered online shopping.

This last order out of 3 I have made with LightInTheBox was very successful. All of the sublimation prints were good quality images. They washed (twice now) well and didn't lose color. Stitching held firm and all wrinkles came out with steam. Note, when clothes arrive from shipment, all are very wrinkled.

I have bought beautiful things from Light in the Box that were high quality, BUT when my insured package was delayed in China and almost destroyed by hurricane IDA. I received a box full of wet, moldy things. A bridesmaid's dress was growing dangerous black mold. The dry cleaner refused it and my postman said you can not return the moldy box. I talked to CS several times before I threw the dress out. Then before they would honor the insurance, several weeks afterward they demanded I return the dress. You can't mail a box of mold. They offered me $91.40 credit to my card and then switched it to a 59.99 store credit after I wrote my review thanking them for the refund. I would have been happy to receive a replacement dress. This is a bait and switch refund. Dishonest. I paid for the insurance! BEWARE!

You need to have item numbers or something more specific than your poorly worded descriptions. Often it is hard to re-order favorite items for lack of ambiguous description. Clicking on previous order too often results in items that have been removed from inventory, but I often can't tell which item was which in an order if they are similar. One was okay, but one I want to re-order in every color, but I often can't tell one white pair of briefs from the other. A four or five digit part number should be easy enough to help you control stock and inventory, and also give us more precise ordering ability and make things clearer.
Other than that, I enjoy your site and have ordered a stupidly large amount of items. Even if they are the wrong size (my fault, not yours) I don't mind, because one bad purchase out of six or seven (usual size of my orders) still averages out to a good value. One more thing. Looking through over 2400 different kinds of underwear is a big time consuming. You have many duplicated items listed separated, and more than five categories might make for a less laborious search. You have nine in sleepwear and over 600 in exotic. Maybe one for just G-strings, fitting so differently, as a subdivision of sexy, or some other criteria, as fifteen or twenty pages to look through is too many. Or more items per page, maybe.. Deep in the list is always something unexpected, and fun to try out. I've found some really fun things there. Thanks for a fun site.

Show many of the tops have totally different sizing measurements. I checked each and everyone before I ordered. And some I wore a small and some I wore a medium and in some I wore a large. Out of six tops three of them were measured incorrectly. I would’ve exchange them or return them, but the expense was more than the tops. It’s not worth it and I will never order from there again.

Shipping is slow and more expensive than you would expect. Often the tracking number they initially give you just states that the shipping info has been submitted and can stay that way for quite a while. If there are flash sale items in your order then you can’t use coupons. Quality of the clothing items we have purchased has been great and for the most part well priced. Overall I’ve been happy with the service provided and selection available. Finding certain items can be a challenge with their search engine. Fun to browse through and see what is available.

These jackets were of great quality, well made and very good price. I wanted to sent them back for an exchange as the sizing was too small. I needed a bigger size jacket as they were a present. I really want this style jacket and have had to purchase twice to get the jackets in another size. I need to get a refund for the first 3, but can't seem to get an address to sent them back to. I purchased expensive dresses from this company, thinking I could send them back for a refund if they did not fit/work for me. They do not want to accept a return for a full refund. They want to give you 20% of the price!!! Also, you can not call them. You have to submit tickets and wait for them to reply. Keep in mind, you only have 7 days to return! Now, I'm out over $500 because they are very misleading about accepting returns! Considering taking legal action but unsure of the expense involved.

The clothes were shipped in two separate orders after I saw the quality of the clothes I received in the first order I cancelled the second order. I purchased the clothes end of July, sent back August the 8th and still have not received my refund as of today 9/28/21 plus shipping fee of $95 to return... At first I was worried about ordering online without seeing it in person. I purchased the white wedding bolero jacket. When I received the item, the item was thoroughly packaged. I thought it was thin at first, then I realized I could wear the bolero in the summer and keep a conservative look while the weather is warm. The white material matches my wedding dress very closely; the difference is almost unnoticeable. Thank you Lightinthebox.com for providing this particular style, without the collar, half sleeves and longer waistline. I am very happy with this purchase! I would have given it more stars if the materials to the lining and the outer jacket were thicker. Can still be worn in the spring, fall and winter without overheating.

Lightinthebox is a terrible company for returns. The products came so wanted to return. We had to pay $44 shipping to return to China which we didn't realize the company was from. 2 months later they tell us they finally got the product. This all happened from May - July. As far as the refund the promised in multiple notes, none. They told us it was refunded back to bank in August/September. Contacted the bank and they say no refunds have ever been done. Contacted them again no refunds. You can't email or call them - have to do everything over their "orders" section and they only respond and you have to read it within 7 days or they delete it. I can't say enough bad things about this company - do not order from them!

All the products but the face mask were great. Face mask should have stated it was not medical in the description. When shipped on August 30, they added that it would Arrive in the US on the 3rd of Sept. And be there in customs on the 4th at 10:45. How do they know that 4 days early? Once in US package said it was shipped second day air, but took 4 days.

Do not use this website. It’s a scam! They offer cheap products, poor quality, to trap you - then when you want to return them they say you can only return to China, which will cost you more than the product. They will not pay returns. Instead they say if you don’t return you can keep the product and they will give you 20% back. It’s a scam! Low prices high margins for them to make money.

Do NOT order anything from this company! They misrepresent their return policy and categorize standard sizes as “made to order” to deny you a return authorization and keep your money. The “easy 7 day return exchange” requires pictures and measurements, unlike any company I’ve ever encountered, only to end in a denied return request.
I ordered 3 pantsuits, paid for express shipping (which isn’t possible with made to order). The day after receiving the items that were several inches smaller than the size chart, I asked to return. They asked me for detailed pictures and measurements which I submitted the same day. They denied my return bc they said the items were the right size “according to the chart” and made to order. How can both of those things be true at the same time? I have notified my bank and disputed the charges. If they aren’t going to accept returns on their evening wear, they need to state that in their return policy. I will never do business with them again!

I ordered a medium swim set, it came about 2-3 wks later. I could not even get it over my knees. I contacted LINB and they refunded me and reordered them in and XL. Do not use. This company is awful. Their clothing sizes are nowhere near (my XL trousers, measured to their guidance, were the size of a small child). Their delivery time promises are highly misleading (they don't include their own 'processing time'). They make it as difficult as possible to return items or get a refund - shipping back to China costs more than the value of the items, and their instructions are deliberately complex. When challenged, they offer small refunds. It is clear from the language of several reviews on here that many of their 5-star reviews are written by them.

I saw Light in the Box advertising on the internet and liked what I saw, so I ordered some shirts. I did have some concerns that I couldn't track my package and sent them an email telling them so. Their response wasn't very helpful, but after a day or so the tracking worked, but my shirts sat in New York for a week or so, I'm guessing some of my order had to come by ship from somewhere. All in all a good experience and I plan to order again from Light in the Box, thank you.

Being on a fixed income is difficult. Not getting what I paid for is upsetting. I suspect this too will go nowhere, so just venting.

They need a much better system to identify and search for items. 2 or 3 keywords and an item #. Like LS (long sleeve) blue flame. Or SS (short sleeve) lion cross. I waited a long time - 5 weeks. But I'll definitely order other things from them again.

I have purchased two shorts which has Size M(32) but that is too small when compared to branded shorts of same Size 32. When I asked them they are asking me to send this items China. They never inform me that this must be collected from the post office and I was at all the post offices in Amanzimtoti but no order was delivered. I ask for refund but till now no refund received. I am a long time customer of LightInTheBox, I purchase many great LED lighting systems here for my classic cars. The cars are located in the USA and are of Italian, British, and Germany manufacture. This LEDs have greatly improved my safety while driving with the magnitude of brightness they provide (as opposed to my original OEM headlights), these cars are as old as 1980 and still running fine. After spending $35 on jewelry I should be able to return more than one. Second I a received an email basically telling me that the one item can’t be return. I don’t care what the measurements of the statement necklace… It doesn’t fit around my neck or my skinner daughter neck comfortably. Why should I have to keep something that doesn’t fit??? The rest of the order was fine. They may need a couple of links added, but I was fine with that… So that means the other could not be remedied.

The watch is great and it looks like it does in the photo and is a cheap price. I have one small gripe and it would be that the light was brighter, could incorporate a flashlight into the watch too. The watch also took a bit of time to ship but it's understandable. Very happy with it and am going to look at getting another.

I ordered $217.80 worth of cycling jerseys and kits from LightInTheBox. My items never were delivered. I contacted LightInTheBox to find out what method they used for delivery and they told me DHL. I went on DHL's site to run the tracking on the shipment and low and behold I received delivery confirmation. Upon asking for proof of delivery, I saw it was "received" by a person named "Terry." There is nobody named Terry that is in my unit as well as our two tenants we have upstairs, as they don't even know any "Terrys." Not only that but there is nobody named "Terry" on our block.
LightInTheBox did respond by saying they could send a replacement shipment. Only one problem with that. All the items ordered are for SUMMER cycling and are of no use to me if they arrive after the season. I am done with these overseas companies that wait 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12+ days after the order date to ship. The frequent reason is they sell items online that do not exist in stock. They print after the order is placed and usually shit quality. Getting items at a discount defeats the point of saving money when you have to spend HOURS contacting the said company to work out order problems. If you shop at LightInTheBox, BUYER BEWARE.

I like the zipper biking shirt, but the zipper is bad. It comes up from the bottom and opens up my entire shirt, is hard to zip up and hard to unzip. I get frustrated with it and I am almost going to stop wearing it. I think it is made cheaply. Sorry, but something is wrong with it as I have never had these problems before. It also came wrinkled and stays wrinkled.

Return policy is hard, since it is expensive to ship back. Item was too large. Other options was to keep item and receive 30% of product value or get a refund of 20% of products value. I chose keep & receive 30% value, but it’s been four days and I have not heard a response from them…

The experience has been interesting, I do have to acknowledge that, unlike FashionMia or Reselinlin, you do communicate with one person at LightInTheBox who appears to genuinely want to resolve your problem. I did get a full refund without the need to return the items and pay for the postage. I also received a voucher for the inconvenience and the impression that I got that LighInTheBox struggle with getting correct information from their suppliers.

It looks like Vincent CO. LTD otherwise known as Light in The Box is yet another China-based corporation engaging in premeditated misleading advertisement scamming customers living in countries where consumers have rights. I wasn't looking at the photos when making my decisions as I can see that they are graphically edited, NO, I was reading the information provided by Vincent CO.LTD about each item. I purchased 3 garments as follows:
1.) "Women Casual Linen Cotton Plus Size Breathble Oil Painting Blouse Roll Up Sleeve V-Neck Loose S-XXXXXL #8498534 AUD $30.50Vincent CO.LTD posted to me, according to their own wash care information an item made of "100% polyester" - there is no cotton or linen in it.
2.) "Women's Simple Basic Comfort Lightweight Linen / Cotton Blend Casual Weekend Wide Leg Pants Plain Full Length Elastic Drawstring Design White Black Khaki Gray #8567631" AUD $20.86. Vincent CO.LTD posted to me, according to their own wash care information an item made of "65% cotton 35% polyester" - honestly you can not see or feel any cotton in it, just polyester.
3.) Women's Basic Comfort Linen Loose Daily Wide Leg Pants Print Full Length Print Red Green #8155696. Vincent CO.LTD posted to me, according to their own wash care information an item made of "95% polyester and 5% spandex" AUD $33.71.
See, I will not return these items as the issue here is not a mistake on their part of sending the wrong item or the size not fitting, no, the problem is a purposeful, premeditated misleading of the consumers with an intention to cause them financial damages - commonly known as theft. I will only return these items at my own cost IF in exchange they post me the actual items they advertised, but I am 100% sure that those do not exist.
The part that bothers me is this isn't about cost alone, I recently picked up garments from Kmart for 18 Australian dollars that were an actual cotton-linen blend which makes me believe that this can be achieved with profits, but Light In The Box chose to be thieves. Too bad, as I live in a tropical climate and I don't mind 'lightweight' cotton or linen-cotton blend that some perceive as cheap in quality, it works for me in a humid climate but Light In The Box are not providing even that.
I would like to add that I logged in to my account with Light In The Box to review each item and attach 2-3 photos for each item and I chose 1 star for each item but surprise, surprise, Light In The Box did not allow me to post it, it just kept returning to submit screen after clicking submit without the ability to actually submit, THEREFORE there you go, the reviews are controlled by Light In The Box on their website. SCAM.

I ordered three pair of swimming suits from the online order form provided by Light In The Box. My only reference was photos posted in the online catalog. All three suits arrived as promised, the color, size and fit was perfect. I am delighted as these types of swimming apparel is not available in local stores. As I live on the beach I wear this type of clothing while jogging daily on the beach. I contacted them and THE SAME DAY, they shipped the correct size and told me to keep the wrong size so I gave them to a friend - who also ordered more things from Light In The Box. Sizing has always been correct and they offer charts and measurements to confirm you get the correct size. Their customer service is fantastic!

I ordered two dresses recently and both arrived later than expected. One of the dresses literally fell apart at the seams after one washing. The other is poorly made as well and will probably do the same. I had to purchase another dress as the second one arrived too late to wear to an out of state wedding. Customer service has "jacked" me around about refunding. They have offered me very little compensation for my trouble and their poor products. I will NEVER shop with this company again nor will I recommend them.

I purchased two evening gowns. I looked at the size charts and ordered one size up. But the gowns were very tiny, about 2-3 sizes smaller than listed. One was supposed to be chiffon and it was pleated polyester. the other wouldn't fit the chest size listed by about 5 inches. When I contacted the company they offered me less than 25% back. When I refused they offered 50%. I disputed this with my bank and credit card company. LightintheBox.com wrote back and told me that they would refund my money only if I dropped the dispute. I requested return information and received instructions so unreliable I knew they would simply say the package was lost and I am out the money. I will never use a company like this again

But sometimes the processing takes twice as long as the shipping and I'm just wondering why that is. Your customer service is wonderful! A couple of times I have accidentally ordered the wrong size (I now know to order by bust size instead of the dress size) and state that in my review of the product. The items ordered were not as described. This is made overseas and it is not cotton. Sizes were much larger than I had anticipated. Customer service is horrible! To start the return process, one has to jump through several hoops including taking photos of items, packaging and then having to wait 40+ days before finance can clear and start the return process. How is this possible and why are they still in business? Stay away.
