Ordered a couple of sweaters 2XL and 3XL and when received they were comically too small. They arrived more like Youth small/medium. They then tried to block me from returning items by denying the return and then offering 20% off to keep the product. Then they offered 50% off and then 60% off the product to keep it and not return it. Once you get through these steps they will try to claim you didn't talk to them within 7 days even though you easily have email proof.
Once through this, and if they agree to accept a return they refuse to accept FedEx, UPS DHL etc. only US mail, which USPS to China is 90% of the price of the items. After this they will argue there is a bizarre insurance cost that doesn't exist that they won't refund and then refuse to return United States sales tax. If you've gotten through these roadblocks, to make things worse they are perfectly aware your items will be stopped or destroyed in customs in China despite following their procedures to the letter. If they finally receive the items they just flat out refuse to refund items.
When you complain to sites like this their customer service response will be (on this website) "You will be immediately refunded without having to return the product back if we can if we could confirm that the measurements of your products are different compared, to those specified on our sizing chart" but this is just a lie to get more people to fall for their scam.
Or their customer service will create a fake ticket # 'to solve the problem' and ask you to log in where nothing will happen and they will just close out the nonexistent ticket. You will be out the product and out the cost to return the items and not get a refund for anything. This is how they do business, this is a scam company that many states have actions against. You've been warned.

I ordered one time. The delivery charge is very high than other online shopping services. I never ordered again with the LightInTheBox.com and some items that I ordered first time were very cheap. Not worth for the price. They haven't good coupons or any promotions like free shipping.

Very pleased with your website. I ordered 3 items, I checked in each one of them the size chart... It is totally wrong that chart. I am a very exact Medium size on tops and 32 Waist in bottoms. I checked the equivalent in their sizes and I ordered them. The only one I did not follow was Ok for me. The rest big as for 3 guys like me. I have to pay if I want to return them, because NOW, they are coming from China (???). No warehouse here (???). So it came in a week and I sending them to China would be way more expensive than the total amount I spent. They have to change that. Here in the USA, returns and exchange are free to do it.

This company is a rip-off. If the garment doesn't fit properly or the material is inferior the option to return the merchandise costs more than the garment price. So, they offer an option for a refund of 10-30% of the cost of the garment, that you can't wear regardless of how much they discount the price. Beware when buying from this company.

I wish I'd known how clingy these shirts were going to be. The quality isn't bad, but even with the size chart the shirts are too small. I'm generally a large in US sizes and ordered XL, and they all fit like skin. I love the fun colors and patterns of the clothes, but they're just not sized for North America.

I order a wig and paid over $18 and got another wig advertised for $11. Total different from what I ordered. I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied. I felt robbed of my money. I purchased from you out of trust but I'm betrayed.

I ordered a size 14 in burgundy pant suit for my son's wedding. It was too tight. This was not a special order but they did not let me return the item which still has the tags on the suit. All they offered after numerous back and forth emails was a 30% refund. This is not good business practice. I did not give them measurements just chose the size and color. VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER.

I ordered several items, yet the jumpsuit was too tight in my torso that I wouldn't be able to sit down in it/can't button bottom cuff due to it hitting me on my calf. I tried to return, but in order to get most of my money back after shipping, I have to take a pic of myself in the outfit with measurements to prove it doesn't fit. I have never had to do this with no clothing store in my life. And after paying $32 for it, a 10% or 20% discount on another order won't do. I won't be ordering again period!

I ordered on June 06, 2022 two items from Lightinthebox. Women's T-Shirt maxi dress in Green size 4X Order #** that I did not receive as indicated. The women's chinos wide leg pants came on June 17th and the delivery man took a picture total $41.88. I requested a refund for the dress I never received and was told it was resolved by issuing a ticket? Please send me another dress or refund the item!

Of the variety of clothing that you have. However I was a bit disappointed in buying tops. Some fit perfectly at that size and then the next ones don’t fit. Other than that I really love the clothes. I have told other people who may be interested and they’re going to look at them too.

The garment I selected was of an acceptable quality. I appreciate that. However I was charged almost a third more for delivery and misc charges. It takes way too long to receive, for what I'm paying over the garment price.

Filed a complaint with them regarding items received that I literally had to submit item by item once I did get to the place to file. It was difficult getting to the place to file complaint and the limit WHAT you can file on! It took me more than four times to get my complaint logged. They then closed three of my items with no review because they were all in the same order it appears. Light in the Box is using pics of another company’s clothing and selling poor duplicates! They need to be shut down from doing this! They refunded me $19…!!!

The swimsuit I ordered was exactly the same as the picture. It was a little snug but that’s ok as I’m trying to lose weight. The colour was spot on and the material was good quality. I’ve ordered other things off another site and ended up throwing them in the garbage because they weren’t anything close to what I ordered. So I’m very very happy. Thank you.

I was very pleased with how prompt the shipping was but when I received my jacket I was disappointed. It was advertised as "white" but what I received was a beige color. Jacket is good quality, a little snug. I usually wear xsmall and ordered a small.

I like the quality of the items. The sleeves were a little tight. I would recommend ordering a size or 2 larger. The cost to return would be the same as the cost of the dress. Customer service was very nice to work with to have this issue resolved.

I like the quality of the items. I was not happy with the return policy. Due to the great price of the item, it was not worth returning the item as it would cost me more to return it. I was given a credit, which you need to spend over $40 to use it. I would have preferred to either return it (free) for a refund.

The blouse is a perfect fit and the colour is also perfect and matches the skirt I bought it to go with. The material is also as described. The only “con” is I think the finishing stitching is bit lacking. I put a few stitches in to keep the facing in place. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase,.

I ordered 3 shirts. 1 fit perfectly the other two were way too small, by 4 inches on either side. They said it was my fault for not reading the size chart?? 3x is the size I wear. I sent them pics of the shirts stacked on top of each other so they could see for themselves the size difference, I would have expected that they would do the same thing and compare their shirts, for the next guy. I didn't get a full refund. Only 1/2. I wanted the shirts.. Funny.

Let me start out by saying, that I'm 5'6 and weigh 115 lbs, so I bought these in extra large... Probably would have been better off with large... Nothing a nice leather belt couldn't remedy. The fabric is polyester, so it actually doesn't look as vibrant, nor as matte as in the stock photos... Bear in mind that the sleeves will extend completely over your hands and fingers... Rolling them up is a little complicated because they are bell sleeves... I still roll them up. I purchased 10 of these shirts, so I'm a little unhappy as they're a little on the large size, but I consider this a learning curve... Not going to cry about it, and returning an order this size to China just isn't worth the cost, or the time for the money I paid... I recommend just be ultra careful with your sizing and realize that these aren't nearly as pretty in person as they are in the photos... But they're okay... If people want to be 100% certain they're going to love something, shop locally and in person.

For some reason the sizes are not like other sites. 2XL is actually a 16 instead of the usual 22. Very depressing. Gave to Goodwill instead of returning. Quality was what you would expect for the low prices. Won’t shop here again since they don’t actually have my size.

The quality of the merchandise is nothing (very disappointed) like the catalog showing on the website, the size chart is not accurate at all (at least 2 sizes smaller), and you can’t return the items because they’re coming from overseas and the return fee is way too high so you have to keep the product. Prices are ok but if you looking for good quality don’t buy here.

For the most part my orders are ok. Many items run on the small size. I have received a item I didn’t order instead of the item I ordered. I order two exact items. Same size. Just different colours and they were two totally different sizes. The return process is a pain so I haven’t even bothered doing it.

The return process includes mail it back to China or take a 75% reduction in price as a "refund". You can take less of a reduction and get "credit". A fully disclosed return policy BEFORE purchase would be better.

I have ordered several cloths from Lightinthebox.com. The one that was an absolute disappointment was the tuxedo which number is above. I paid about $147 which included faster shipping. I only received the pants and not the jacket. I opened a ticket but was told that it was my fault because I ordered only the pants which is not correct. When I ordered the tuxedo, I clicked to have the all tuxedo and requested size M. The price for the tuxedo was and still is about $92 once tax and shipping were added it came to $147. I am being told that it is my fault which is not correct. I am being told that I ordered only a custom pants which makes no sense since I simply requested size M without any special modifications. I had ordered the day before another tuxedo which I have no complaint about and I also ordered another suit, a dress for my wife and a shirt.
I had intended to buy some more dresses which my wife liked but it will not happen. I am being told that the custom pants by itself cost more than the all tuxedo which make no sense to me especially that it was not at all what I ordered. VERY SORRY. I had bought all for my son's wedding but I had to go and buy directly where I live since you could not deliver the jacket.

I found this company very easy to deal with and that they kept me in the loop through the whole process from placing order to receiving order. Their prices were very fair and the quality of the 4 shirts I received was quite good to great. The only downfall to this order is 2 of the 4 shirts were smaller than I anticipated but the next time I do order I will order one size bigger or a tall size if available. I would definitely use this company again.

I would give a zero star of this site. I had a horrible experienced. Very expensive clothing for a very very poor quality. The shipping is very expensive and it arrived very long. They post the pictures very nice and when then when the product arrives it's nothing but garbage quality. I told all my friends to stay away with site because it's a scam. The dress is not true to size I bought an XL just in case it ran small I am normally in a medium or small. I cannot zip the dress up and I can't return the dress. Very disappointed. I don't know what to do about the dress. I wish there was something I can do. If you have suggestions please contact me at my number **. I bought the dress a while back and did not realize there was a 7 day return policy. I just tried the dress on and was so mad when I did because it would not fit. Now I have spent this money on the dress and cannot wear it at all and I can't return it or get a refund. I would just like to have a larger size so that it would fit me. I have Dolly Parton breasts. The dress fit from the hips down but way too small at the top so I am sure if I got a larger size it would look funny at the bottom. Way too big. As I said I am very disappointed with the sizing. It's very hard to get the right size from a company that does not stay true to size.

The shirts we ordered did not fit, we ordered the normal size we usual wear. The refund and exchange policy of this company sucks. We should not have to return merchandise to Asia when we purchased it in USA. Also your size guides is hidden in description of products and yet you use that as a reason not to accept returns. I will not be purchasing from this company again.

The top had a much wider neck than expected and a much narrower hip size than expected. Not overly pleased but a nice material at a good price. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing from this vendor again.

I'm generally leery of ordering thru vendors based overseas, but my experiences with this company have all been remarkably good! They seemingly have a very streamlined system in place which makes ordering thru them a breeze. Even with the covid disruptions, they still got my order fulfilled quickly and accurately! And their low prices & massive selections are the icing on the cake!

I can't provide any information about the products themselves as they didn't arrive yet, but delivery processing is terrible. The order was placed on 21 May 2022 and took 10 days to post. For more than 3 weeks since it was sent the order is still located in China, travelling a few times between Dongguan City and Guangzhou. I wouldn’t suggest using the shop specifically if you need to get the ordered products in time.

I bought pair of shoes, a jacket and a belt, and as expected, it took about a month to receive them, because they were shipped from China. Packages were poorly wrapped, and the items were not to my expectations. Two pair of shoes size 42, one was large the other small for my feet. The jacket was small and made of a very cheap material (contrary to a very fancy looking picture on the site). I sent them an email, attached with pictures and after a few email correspondences, I agreed for partial payment, rather than returning all the items to China, which would have cost me the same amount of purchasing money.
I also filed a claim on PayPal for the same items. At first they agreed to partial payment, but later ignored partial payments, and sent email stating full payment after receiving all items, knowing that it is not worth for the customer returning the items to China. There is no quality control in China, and it is a method of deceiving American people with fabricated pictures, knowing that the policy of returning items to China is not worthwhile to customers. This is a fraudulent way that this company running a business.

This is a beautiful shirt. I could only give it three stars because sizes run small and delivery is very slow. When tracking, your item may sit in Jamaica, NY for several days. Again, I must state that items are mostly cut small. I wear a size large but in most cases, I have to get an X Large, and in some instances a 2X Large.

I purchased three dresses from this company after reading the great reviews on ConsumerAffairs website. I received my items today. The bag was partially torn and the inside bag was completely open. But my main issue is that one of the dresses didn't fit - not even close. In addition, the fabric is cheap, thin and poorly made. I started a return ticket with the company - which I find absolutely ludicrous to have to do to get MY OWN MONEY refunded in the first place. I then received a very lengthy email stating I had to send photo PROOF of my "quality issue" for them to continue to process my request for a refund.
Keep in mind that I sent them pictures of the partially open packaging when I requested the return/refund. I did what they asked and tried to put the dress on...and then took pictures of how it DIDN'T fit at all. I emailed them back and I am now waiting for them to inform me IF I will get my refund! This can take 24 hours or more I was told. I am now going to dispute the charges with my bank/CC company and the BBB. This is the most ridiculous process for returning and refunding I ever encountered online or at brick and mortar stores.
Just take a look at their refund policy below. And you have to pay insurance AND horrendous shipping costs that you don't get refunded back to you. That's why I will NEVER purchase from this company ever again. Refunds: The refund will be issued to your LightInTheBox Credit Account. You can either use Credits to pay for new order or withdraw it to the original account/card you paid earlier. The original shipping fee and insurance are non-refundable.

I ordered 2 sundress and 1 didn't look good on me, therefore I wanted to return it. Before I could request a return I was forced to review the items in order to proceed to a "return request screen". When I requested return authorization, I was told that unless the item was damaged or not as described or photographed, I could not return it. I could exchange it for another size or accept a partial credit toward another item.
They required photos and measurements, basically, you were required to keep it unless it was damaged. They declined my request stating they don't accept returns related to how it looks or if you don't like how it looks because they had provided a size chart along with the photo of the sundress. They don't elevate that rigid stipulation when you're making the purchase. What a racket! They offered me 10% discount if I kept it. It was approximately $23 and credited me $2. I didn't want to deal with them. Feels too rigged for a consumer to win. BELOW IS THEIR EXACT RESPONSE TO ME WHEN I REQUESTED TO RETURN IT:
Considering returning the product may not be the most economical option. Instead, maybe keeping the item for a discount is a better solution: We would like to propose the following offers:a) Keep the item and get a Reward, which values 20% of the item price you wish to return. And same as a coupon/voucher, which can be used on the next order as a discount.
b) Keep the item with a partial refund of 10% of the item price. Just like you get a 10% OFF discount on this item.
c) Return the item to warehouse in Asia for a refund of the product price only. This option is only for RETURNABLE items according to return policy. Please understand that you will be responsible for return postage if you ordered the wrong size. If you're sure you ordered the correct size according to our shown size chart, please send us the measurements of the received product with the measurement photo, and we'll compare it with our size chart to confirm.

I ordered these shoes: "Women's Slip-Ons Tassel Flat Heel Round Toe Casual Walking Shoes Suede Loafer." They were advertised as wearable in Fall/Spring/Summer. My order #** was ordered on 04/15/2022. They didn't arrive until almost 3 weeks later. I know, because I was afraid they wouldn't arrive before a scheduled vacation trip I wanted to wear them on. The email statement read, "YOUR PACKAGE MIGHT BE DELAYED" For 2-4 business days due to insufficient transport capability! It was Much Longer than 2-4 DAYS!
Weeks was more like it! And, the shipping cost was overpriced, the shoes were in a plastic bag! Not even a box! AND, Looked Much Cheaper & Different in Person! I Was/Am So Disappointed! There was NO Contact Number on the Website, so that you could call and talk to a real person! A form had to be requested so that you could write down your information, you were given a "Time" limit on how much time you had to return" AND you were responsible for paying shipping cost to return!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

This company charges way more than indicated. Got the completely the wrong size after using the sizing chart they provide. Everything comes from Asia so you can't send back or return. They were very speedy and attentive to my email as soon as I reached out to them. They gave me options but I have NO idea how you take them up on their offer because they don't inform of how to do that!!!

I am again waiting to get directions from customer service on how to return a dress. I ordered the dress as a bridesmaids dress. The color does not look good next to the brides dress so I need to return it. The dress was never worn and has the original tags attached. Why is it so difficult to get information on how to make a return? Directions for a return should be included in the original shipping. Instead you send me two strange emails about giving me a discount if I keep the dress and then you say I need to take two different pictures of the dress in daylight and in fluorescent lights. I thought this deal was too good to be true. I still can't get over paying under $15 for this dress! Nice gauzy material with ample room since I ordered 2 sizes up. The dress is not lined and is quite see-through, but the workmanship is otherwise good. I like the cuff details on the 3/4 sleeves and the pockets.

Your return policy is made to send the wrong message to your clients. Nowhere to return merchandise back for an even exchange. Take the money and run is usually a company named scammer. I was surprised by the quality of the fabrics, the beauty of the designs and the workmanship of the clothes and shoes. The only problems I had: the pants were too short and the dress didn't have the fullness as shown. "Light In The Box" was more than willing to help me but I assured them I would take care of it myself. I bought a petticoat on their site for the dress; and I gave the pants away for free to a neighbor. Problems solved! I hate doing returns.

The quality of the product was inferior, and considering I paid for expedited delivery, the items were delayed due to having to pay duty and other charges, which were not stated in original invoice. Not even the case for my phone; a friend who is a size 4 fit into the 2x swimsuit. The case for the Galaxy 10 did fit another friend's phone so that too ended up a gift for them. I ordered several items after researching carefully the sizes as presented. The process for complaints is complex and while I bought (as an example) 2 pair of gloves, of different sizes...they both fit the same and are unacceptable. Cycling clothes fit badly, when compared to european or north american brands. With negative reviews I was offered a price reduction but very little information is otherwise available...and when it is, it wastes an enormous amount of time to find it. To add insult to injury, I was finally offered a 20% refund! Totally unacceptable especially as I purchased according to POSTED instructions. I will continue to encourage others to stay away from this website.

I've never been so disappointed with the quality of a product. I purchase a T-Shirt that should say "Ride Free"! BUT!!! the T-Shirt I received, the R in Ride is 1/2 missing! And here is 1 & 1/2 E's missing in the word Free!!! So basically what should read "Ride Free" reads "ide Fre"!!! The second T-Shirt bought is so DISTORTED! and Not centered on the shirt. I feel that because they are a larger size, they were printed completely out of proportion / out of scale, something! But most of all, when I tried to return the shirts I was told it would cost me $80 plus regular postal (considering it was shipped in Canada from 5380 Timberlea Blvd. in Mississauga, which is basically 10 km). Where it would be so easy to bring it back to and easy to return to sender. This is the BIGGEST and only DISAPPOINTMENT in all the things I've ordered online, and I will tell everyone about this if it is not taken care of in a professional manner. I wish I checked all the reviews before ordering! I was going on vacation and decided to ordered a few dresses from them (Order# **). Once I got those so called dresses I almost cried- cheap material, see through, poorly made- in some places stitches are out sizing is not right(I ordered the sizes specifically relying on their guide table, I measured them when I got them and sizing was completely off) , color is off ( for example, the picture shows bright yellow, I received an orange color dress). Horrible!
Obviously, I reached out to them to return those pieces, but they told me that they don’t provide a return label and I will have to pay a return shipping to China myself. What in the world? They also offered me some coupons and discounts for next purchases. Next purchases will never happen! I declined their offer and demanded a refund. I escalated a complaint to a “manager” (ticket#**). She replied with coupon offers and now disappeared on me. I have never experienced such fraud!

LITB will not will (after many back& forth, wasting my time with a co that plays games) not refund my 100% refund or accept their undersized poorly stitch items back, who dose that? I ordered a magnetic cell phone case for my Samsung Galaxy Ultra S22 for $16.45 plus shipping - the description on the website said it would fit my phone, yet in small letters also stated that it was also compatible with the Samsung S9. I didn't see that when I ordered it. Why would I think any different? I received the item, it didn't fit, obviously. I emailed them to do an exchange. They don't have return labels, so it would cost me $10 to mail it, so I could get the difference of $6.00 back? They offered me a 30% discount on another item.

AND - When I emailed an offer to exchange, I received an email at 12:40 a.m. with instructions to either send the phone in at my expense, or keep the phone and receive a discount on a future purchase. Then one hour later at 1:40 am I receive an email that the matter has been resolved!! What the heck is going on over there? So very disappointed on all levels. I'll never order from that company again.

I got my order, and was very disappointed with the sizing. I made sure to look at the size chart for each item but not anywhere near what I was expecting. The return policy is very disappointing!! I can only get 20% of my money back or spend another $45.00 to send it back to China. Which is unrealistic. If I had of been made aware of this I would never have ordered.

The clothes look great online but the wait time is horrible. Then, if something doesn’t fit, the cost to ship back to China is astronomical, These Companies are not as cheap as they used to be. They have all raised their prices, so you are really not getting a Great Deal. I like the style of the clothes but will think twice next time. Between the wait to receive, and the fact that you cannot really return them, makes this a very frustrating experience!

The service is excellent and prompt. I was surprised that I had to pay the clearance fees on my shipment to be able to receive. It has been refunded 100% by Light in the Box because I had already paid the duty insurance on my order. Amazing service! Of course I would recommend to friends. I was surprised when I learned about the return policy, and the cost to do so. I have 2 pairs of shoes worth approx. $180 that don't fit well and I can't use, and too expensive to return. Their credit to rewards system is a joke, I also had to pay $139 .00 in customs and duty on a $450 order, which I was not aware of either, I did not know they were shipping from China, or I would not have ordered from them. Will not be ordering again regardless of the credit or "rewards" on my account.

When I placed my order, one dress and one blouse were for an event in the same week. I contacted them several times because my order was not showing up on the app. It finally did about a week after I placed the order. The order arrived a week too late. 6 days after I needed the dress, and one day after I needed the blouse. The two dresses I ordered did not fit. One was of extremely poor quality and craftsmanship. It's been about 10 days and I still can't get any resolution on sending the two dresses back and getting some sort of a refund, or even a response when I said the hell with it just credit me the 10% of the purchase. Because I will never do business with these people again.

While I am very please with the comfort and fit of the items I purchased my only complaint would be the time it takes to get the product to their customers. If I had know that it would take as long as it did I would have purchased from a local business. I like your products, but just don't like to wait so long to receive my merchandise. I know it takes prep time/shipping time, but most of all these items should be readily available to ship as soon as the customer's payment is approved. I bought about 13 items...only 2 of them I was moderately satisfied with. I spent $316.00 plus 90 dollars for duty. Guess what? Light in the box will only refund me $89.00 which according to them, is 40% of my purchase (nope). And the other option is to send it back and pay for postage. I was very happy with my order. If you follow the sizing chart they have with each item your item should fit. The sizes are smaller than here in Canada. (I ordered up 2 sizes.) Both dresses I ordered were like they showed online. If you have any questions they are happy to help through 'chat'. My items arrived the earliest their estimated time. My original review was not a good one. My custom sized order did not come as ordered. LightInTheBox offered to make me another outfit if I returned the first one. I found another outfit while we were working things out. I opted not to return the outfit and have sold it online. The cost was more than I could pay. Their customer service (Bloo) has come to me with a partial refund to resolve the issue without me returning the outfit. I appreciate that they are doing this. Bloo from their customer service was great to work with. They were good about everything. I am now giving them a 4 star review for their customer service.

I ordered a 3 piece pants outfit to wear for my son's wedding in September. After looking at the standard measurements I decided to go the Custom route. Sent my measurements with the order. Got the outfit. Loved the material and the sewing was really good. That is where it ended and the nightmare began. I tried it on. The pants I could barely pull over my hips. Could not get them to my waist. Top went on just fine until I tried pulling it down to my waist. Too tight and bunched up around my middle. Jacket was too tight in the arms and I couldn't move my arms afraid I would tear the material. I measured the items after I had my husband help me get out of it. The measurements did not even come close to what I sent. Anywhere from 4 to 7 inches off. Warning. Do not buy from this company. They not offering to fix it. Their error not mine. I am out 113.00 USD.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered several items and most of the jewellery and sandals was very poor quality and the clothing too small. I did everything they asked to return some of the items...Which included...Contacting them to start a ticket, taking pictures of everything outside of their packages and you have to take pictures of both sides of every item...
All in all I probably spent about an hour in total trying to return these items and this is what they said..."Dear customer, appreciate your efforts in providing the pictures, however we apologize that we are unable to determine the quality issue from the pictures provided. Nonetheless, if you believe that there is a quality issue and have more pictures or a video that can reflect the issue related, we are still able to further assist in providing them to the supplier and negotiate possible solutions. Seek for your patience and understanding..." No one should have to go thru all of this for a refund!!!

The items I ordered were very nice. The two men's bathing suites did not fit properly and neither did one of the ladies' bathing suits fit properly. We used the sizing chart and I even ordered a little bit bigger but the cuts were not comfortable. The ladies bathing suit fit great on top but the bottom piece was poorly cut and was very uncomfortable. The ladies' two piece bathing suit was a great fit and so was the cover up beach dress. I am suppose to get a credit but I think is was for one of the bathing suits not for all three that I was trying to return. The return was a little bit confusing.

This site came on my computer as a pop-up. I liked the look of the merchandise. I should have tried them first before placing a big order. The merchandise is cheap, their size charts are way off. I had several of the products fall apart after one washing on delicate cycle. When I contact them about the problem they want me to pay for shipping to return it which would be expensive and they only wanna give me a partial refund. I truly regret doing business with them. I threw one of the shirts in the trash before I ever got to wear it. It was ripped in three places.

Updated on 08/16/2022: LightInTheBox member of management still has not contacted me to resolve the refund issue from May of 2022. This company is not honoring their own policies. I contacted them and asked to return items within their 7 day return policy. I received an email stating they would assist with the matter and then was offered 20% to 30% refund, with fees, rather than 100% refund. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use this company. They are unreliable, unethical, and will ghost you.
Original Review: Out of good faith I ordered high end clothing items for a wedding. All items arrived too late and every item was too large and did not correspond with their size guide. Lightinthebox refuses to accept the return of items purchased On March 18 & 19, 2022 and fully refund the money spent to purchase the items. Paid for shipping quoted 4-7 days and first of three packages arrived 19 days after order, April 6, 2022, one day prior to travel to the wedding, April 7, 2022. They state the items were "custom made to order" yet two items could not be shipped because they were not in stock. Advertising of clothing ordered was misleading as items received did not match pictures on website.

I received the tshirt one day and asked to return it the same day. It was a weird slinky material and the wording was blurry. At first I got the runaround. Then they said I could pay to return it myself for $15-$40 and they would refund that to me. Yeah, right! Then they went into keeping it and getting some measly discount. Very very poor customer service. Beware because if you don't like the product you receive, you are screwed!

Excellent site to buy almost anything online. Update: Although it took time and much correspondence and persistence the LIB supervisor refunded my money for the purchase (wrong color dress shipped) and my shipping costs for trying to return the item in good faith. I'm encouraged by this and will likely order again. This is how customer service should work. They provide detailed instructions. You'll spend $60 in shipping to China to return only to have your package come back! They won't respond to your emails or website requests with photos of your damaged/wrong items. If you like what you get (and some of their stuff is good), it's good but if you don't you're HOSED by this company. They'll also say "sorry your ticket was not received; submit another one here and the link is invalid every time".

I ordered a dress in an XXL size which is a US equivalent of a 8 to 10 size. I received an 5XL. I could fit 2 of me in that dress. When I requested a refund, I was offered a discount on the price I paid which would allow me to avoid having to ship the dress back to China. I cannot really accept any option but a return since I really cannot use this dress. I feel that since this was the company error in fulfilling my order, I should not have to pay for shipping the item back.

Online shopping is very difficult. Because we cannot choose the perfect thing without live view. But my experience with Light In The Box is so much delighted. Although they offer refund- they really don't since they expect you to pay mailing back to China. Their women bathing suits are not as advertised -- they send wrong size. When I tried to return they gave me all kinds of excuses. Suggest you stay away from this vendor!

I was very satisfied with the dresses ordered on this order number. They are indeed beautiful and elegant. I have also ordered many other dresses from Light in the Box. Some of them take a bit longer than others to arrive. But as of late, they have improved in the shipping time. A few of the dresses' materials are not impressive. Some are of poor quality, but Majority are what is advertised.

Many clothes were badly sewn, bad fit, cheap fabric, do not as look like advertised photo; the rings were rough on the edges and stones were cheap and didn't sparkle. Your explanations in "My tickets" I don't understood. Please submit again to me of what has been resolved. I'm confused.

Photo of clothing did not match items. Clothing material was flat and very lightweight like inexpensive polyester. Photo made the items look more substantial. Since it would cost more to return than to keep I decided to keep. But would be more careful in the future.

Very happy with the 5 blouses I ordered. Nice material and looked like the pic and description in the ads. Checking out was a bit of a problem but was corrected by issuing me another password. Two blouses were a little big in the waist and hip area but I sew and altered them easily.

I ordered special occasion dresses for my kids and I saw similar dresses on other sites for about $20 more. The only thing is it takes a long time to get to you and the tracking is delayed, but it does give estimated delivery date, mine arrived a day later than estimated.

1.) Dress not same as on online catalog. 2.) Dress so small at the top that my arms couldn't fit into it, from about chest down dress was humongous. 3.) The dress was supposed to have a flair but it didn't, just straight. Lightinthebox wrote they were sending me 1.01 (?) but not showing in my bank account. Unable to attach the two images.

I have requested two or three times to be deleted from texts, but it has not happened. I have found nowhere online to delete texts. I have a suggestion that your marketers do not call American women Hon or say they are obsessed with you. Most American women find that offensive. Please do not send advertisements to my phone. Order placed 2-28-22-was to be delivered by 3-17-22. Received two other orders placed AFTER the order in question and received the goods. Some prior orders placed were unsatisfactory at best-garment problems and tight fitting garments-others orders were fine. It's hit-or-miss with this company-but, I place my bets-and hope for a good outcome.

Confusing size charts on website led me to believe I had to order 2XL instead of my normal XL. There are no viable options for returns, so I am stuck with clothes that are too large for me. Although I like the products that they sell, they have lost my business forever.

I ordered 5 dresses for my granddaughter and only one fit. I ordered 2 sets of pants and tops for my granddaughter and neither one fit. The cost of having these items sent was outrageous, particularly since more than half of my order can't be worn.

I have been a user of LightInTheBox for a while now and have also used WISH a lot. I have to say that LightInTheBox is far greater products, prices, and service. WISH is awful when it comes to quality and being honest about products. They have lied to me and taken my money while telling me a refund is unable when it was on 36 seconds after purchase. They only want your money. LIGHTINTHEBOX has been great from the start. And I will continue to shop with them in future. Word of the wise,, forget WISH and get with LIGHTINTHEBOX!!! Thank you.

I got 2 different Bohemian jumpers and one was an XL and the other a 2XL. The XL qas larger than the 2XL. The XL won't zip up and rides up the behind area making it difficult to try and zip up. It's for someone that 3 foot to 4 foot and extremely slender in size. The material is very cheap and itchy on both. It's cool though I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I'll always try something once but never again with this company especially clothes. When all the reviews don't match the product in hand that's when I know my time is done.

3 dresses I bought were made with very poor quality material and the design was nothing as shown on the website. I requested a refund and was told they would refund me 15% or 30% towards purchase of something else. They canceled the refund tickets I created for 2 items and only refunding 15% or 30% on only one item. If I can't receive a refund of all 3 items I don't want it plus I will never use this site again.

I have been purchasing a lot of items from LightInTheBox. The last three items that I purchased what's wrong it was half of a dress then I purchase a wedding dress for my mom to wear to the wedding, it is too small. I ordered a necklace, it arrived melted. I think I may not purchase from LightInTheBox for a while. It bothers me because if I spend $18 on something I only get $9 back. I'd be wanting to return it but they won't give me a return address. This dress I just bought was $40. I'm waiting to hear from them to see if they going to send me a return label or not. I'm losing more money, some of the things are nice but lately, I've been getting ripped off and I don't think that's fair because I have bought a lot of stuff for you guys.

I ordered four times, using the size chart for all four items. Two of them fit and I have no reservations in saying the quality was as expected. The problem began with the two other items, that while they fit in the body (XL), the sleeves were disproportionate in size and made for a much smaller arm (my daughter is size XS and the sleeves would fit someone maybe size S) than would be expected for the size order. No big deal, or so I thought.
Since warehouses are closed except for China, the only place to return the item is to China and the postage will be more than the items are worth. The first email from them said (and I'm summarizing), "you should have used the size chart". Even though I told them I had used the size chart, clearly they didn't read what I wrote.
They offered three solutions:a) Pay to ship back to China and then get a refund in 30-60 days after it's processed in China. The refund would have been less than the shipping so that option is out.
b) Get a 20% of value credit to spend with them and keep the items. Now why would I do that again if I can't return an item unless it COSTS me to do so and the items aren't useful to me. So nope that's out.
c) Get a 10% value refund. While this really doesn't amount to much and I have two pieces of clothing I can't wear, looks like it's the only option that makes sense. So I wrote to them and chose this option.
Their second email said, "YAAA, we gave you a 20% CREDIT to use". I don't want a credit because I will never buy from them again. What good is a credit? Poor customer service, horrible refund policy and no, I don't accept a COVID story for poor service when other companies don't use this as a crutch. It's unfortunate they don't read the emails and give the customer the option chosen. Never again.

The backpack was never described by size so when ordered thought it was regular size backpack/purse and when received it was a child-like size. Rings are described as a 2set yet when arrived it was only one, the male ring that arrived. When purchasing put sizes for both male and female which does not describe each item are to be ordered individually.

The company makes it very difficult to return items, yet I understand that they prefer to "make a deal" rather than return the item back across the ocean. After much duplicated work we successfully filled out all the paperwork to do so, but after a week, we have still to receive "permission" to return the items. This is very discouraging.
