    I've been using LightInTheBox on and off for a couple of years, as they became one of my go-to online places to find amazing items. What I appreciate most is their prices are fairly reasonable, and although there can be some items for low, they do offer decent quality of products. The shipping isn't much of an issue, but even with the processing fees and estimated shipping labeled clearly, they do not guarantee it would arrive within that timeframe window. There has been a few times where I was looking forward to receiving my purchase, for it to take a bit longer than expected to arrive, so I'd always advise to have patience because it can experience delay in shipping.

    I haven't bought a lot of items, mostly things in the women's accessories and children's toy area, so I cannot speak on other products available. Customer service is great, their agents are knowledgeable and a great help when needed. I do wish they can offer live chat to cut down on support ticket time when you have a simple question about an item prior to purchasing. There's an extensive F.A.Q. area in various categories, but sometimes I'd prefer communicating directly with a person. That's my only gripe about the company. Overall, definitely a place to spend your money when you want good quality items for much less.

    I asked for a reshipping of the correct item as I have received the wrong item from the very first time. I paid for the blazers and not some rubbish shirt! They said they will reshipped the correct item but when I received the delivery again, it's the exact same wrong item again! Such a bunch of scammers! Waste of money and time!

    I don't know which customers can say they are satisfied. Fabric is faded and poor quality sewing. All this site does is rip people off. Refunds are a joke. There is a problem with the way a company is not vented before allowing them to do business online. This company definitely deserves the name "BUYER BEWARE".

    This company and the products they sell are the very core of the meme "I ordered this from Wish, and look what I got". The level of scam that they are pulling off is unparalleled. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING, from this site. The pictures and the product you receive are nothing alike and there is no proper refund or return. For info, there are only positive reviews on their site, but for "some" reason, you yourself are not able to submit a review which must be the first alarm bell that this site is non-legit.

    I ordered a dress that was on sale in the ad for $7.99 & I was charged $21.07, 2 sets of boys' clothes in ad for $ 6.99 a pc. & was charged $ 15.59 ea. & a woman's top in ad $5.99 but was charged $ 17.84.     You get what you pay for. Shorter and darker than the pictures but useable. Tracks are a little bit wide and so the wig is thin, but you can style around that. It also comes pre-styled so if you want it to look longer you can straighten it.

    Updated on 07/21/2022: After a few emails and proof of postage, Lightinthebox have promised a full refund, including return postage. This will take a further 7-10 days otherwise I would have rated them 5 stars, Thank you Boo

    Original Review: We found the product sizes are not accurate, we order two ladies tops in the same size as per the size guide and one was very small and one was very big, not slightly but unwearable. The cost was £56 including postage, to return goods you have to post to China, this has cost another £17.60, so for the privilege of having two badly made garments it will cost us £27.60 in postage alone and that is to get £48 back. Total rip off, do not use this company.

    Beware, beware, beware that Lightinthebox is a scam company. I had to give a star.. I don't want to give them anything!! I placed an order for three dresses totaled 69.00. They sent me an email that stated sorry not in stock on the one dress. I communicated and asked where my order was after two weeks, after three weeks after four weeks I blew up and asked them where is my order. They said sorry due to demand they didn't have my order, but gladly took my money!

    Lightinthebox is a big scam from China! Do not order anything from them. They might change their company name and because I believe this is what they do. Beware and do not purchase anything from this company. Or you will be out of big money! They will respond with, "Oh we are so sorry." Yes I know you are! I hope you will share with others about this company! I am telling the truth so be aware of scams. Order inside American or locally. Many companies from China are scams. Beware! I hate to see you lose more than I. God bless!

    I ordered four pairs of sandals three of which are the same model. Those three run small and do not fit. I have contacted the company, and in every email, there have been 4; they ask me for more pictures of sandals that have never been worn, and they ask me questions I've already answered. In the last email, they asked for another picture of the sandals and a picture of my foot next to a size chart.

    I order some men's clothes from this county and was not revealed that this is being shipped from China. I wondered why shipping was so expensive. When I received my items 3 of the shirt (men's small) fit like a tent...nothing like the pictures. The others items cheap but I need to send back the 3 oversized small shirts. Nothing but problems..They keep emailing me saying cheaper to keep than to resend back..I cannot use them I explained. Then they email saying give you 50% discount and 100 reasons for not sending them back. I told them I wanted my credit card credit back...but no. They said they gave me a credit for more shopping. This is crap. Their clothes are cheap and not well made. Finally I threated to call my credit card company and they then responded with, "You give your credit card credit but will take a while." SCAM SCAM SCAM COMPANY. BEWARE.

    The product you will receive will have all seems showing and some already coming undone. The product is made quickly to replicate the pictures but as if it were made by children. Don't expect a refund. They will offer you 50 - 20% of your purchase price, If you want all of your money back, you will never hear from them again. Quite frankly, you are making a donation to the bottom line of LightInTheBox. Thank god I only spent $50.

    I was attracted to the cute styles and colors of these clothes. The creative colors and designs, and variety of clothes, was interesting. I ordered a dress and it was way too small. Then I found out that the return process is that you must pay for returning the product to China. When I asked about this, they offered a small credit in lieu of returning the product. The hassle and cost of returning was ridiculous. I believe the quality of the dress was good, but paying so much more to return it for another was not worth the hassle. So, first, be sure you read the size charts for your specific size and shape...don't guess. Second, if you're a weird or plus size, you probably want to shop elsewhere where you can easily return the product.

    With tax and shipping, these yoga pants (elastic waist that barely expands at all) cost $20.10 -- a bargain, if they had fit. They didn't. Returns must be sent to a warehouse in CHINA, and I would have to pay for shipping -- estimated at $40. I'm out money for a product I can't use, mailed to me from an address in New York state, because I have to return it to China. This, in my opinion, is a shameless fraud and should be condemned.

    This company is sly... I never received one item and that item they refunded...When you wish to return items...they say you can only return 3 items...I am trying to return 4... Then they say two of the 4 are custom. They define custom differently that most online clothing companies. Custom is if they say so when you are adding it to your order on that dresses page. You are not allowed to return custom...The other two they said that I could go to a place on their site for returns, check in and would receive 2 "Tickets" that would allow me to return 2 dresses... These tickets never came up in the return section for me.

    The two "custom": one was huge on the bust compared too tight in the hips. The other was too tight in bust and hips. I had been measured by a tailor before ordering to make sure I order larger clothing so I could alter the groom's mother's dress if necessary. One out of 5 fit and all others were not a size 12. I usually wear a 10 and 4 of the 5 were too tight. SO DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM - even with measuring they are not upfront..I would NEVER order from them again. I use to be in business of the selling online - this company is the worst of the worst.

    I have enjoyed purchases from LITB however the sandals on this order were a disaster. Petals and rhinestones on center strap and toe of one shoe were missing. I normally wear 6 or 6.5 but because I know better I ordered 5.5 and still they were too big. Really? Because is a factor I had to scramble to find wedding shoes at a local retail store at 10 times the price. I don't have the time to return them for refund until after July 15th. If you need photos, please reply and I'll send them. I wrote a review online but it was pictured with the wedding box instead of shoes. Thank you. So very disappointed, they would have been perfect.

    Light in the Box offers a lot of clothing and cosplay options that I haven't found on other sites. I bought my first wigs from Light in the Box nearly eight years ago and they're still in great condition. Some of the clothes I've bought from here are the ones I get compliments on the most. After years of owning some of their clothes, they're still in great condition, so you can find some items on Light in the Box that will last longer than your average fast fashion items.

    My biggest complaint with Light in the Box is that they are not very accurate. I have ordered several items that do not match the product photos, or are not the same size as the product description said they would be. I've also received items I did not order as a mix-up. I have tried getting Light in the Box to re-ship the correct item, but the only time I tried to do that, the new item never came in, so now when they make a mistake I just ask for a refund. To return items, you have to pay the expensive shipping yourself to ship the item back, and I wish they offered the option to send back items that are not as described at no extra charge like many other online retailers do.

    Customer service agents are not always fluent in English and their customer service skills are below average. Always keep order numbers, and make sure to keep the items you open with the package so the barcode for items can be easily found if they send you the wrong item. Shipping to Canada takes a long time (usually a month or more), but Light in the Box always refunds duty fees if you get charged any upon delivery. They have always delivered on the anticipated delivery dates and provide a tracking number that makes it easy to know exactly when your package is coming in. In a lot of ways, shopping on Light in the Box is like shopping with Wish. If you're willing to gamble, you can get some really great stuff you can't find anywhere else. But it really is a gamble.

    Ordered a couple of sweaters 2XL and 3XL and when received they were comically too small. They arrived more like Youth small/medium. They then tried to block me from returning items by denying the return and then offering 20% off to keep the product. Then they offered 50% off and then 60% off the product to keep it and not return it. Once you get through these steps they will try to claim you didn't talk to them within 7 days even though you easily have email proof.

    Once through this, and if they agree to accept a return they refuse to accept FedEx, UPS DHL etc. only US mail, which USPS to China is 90% of the price of the items. After this they will argue there is a bizarre insurance cost that doesn't exist that they won't refund and then refuse to return United States sales tax. If you've gotten through these roadblocks, to make things worse they are perfectly aware your items will be stopped or destroyed in customs in China despite following their procedures to the letter. If they finally receive the items they just flat out refuse to refund items.

    When you complain to sites like this their customer service response will be (on this website) "You will be immediately refunded without having to return the product back if we can if we could confirm that the measurements of your products are different compared, to those specified on our sizing chart" but this is just a lie to get more people to fall for their scam.

    Or their customer service will create a fake ticket # 'to solve the problem' and ask you to log in where nothing will happen and they will just close out the nonexistent ticket. You will be out the product and out the cost to return the items and not get a refund for anything. This is how they do business, this is a scam company that many states have actions against. You've been warned.

    I ordered 3 shirts. 1 fit perfectly the other two were way too small, by 4 inches on either side. They said it was my fault for not reading the size chart?? 3x is the size I wear. I sent them pics of the shirts stacked on top of each other so they could see for themselves the size difference, I would have expected that they would do the same thing and compare their shirts, for the next guy. I didn't get a full refund. Only 1/2. I wanted the shirts.. Funny.

    Let me start out by saying, that I'm 5'6 and weigh 115 lbs, so I bought these in extra large... Probably would have been better off with large... Nothing a nice leather belt couldn't remedy. The fabric is polyester, so it actually doesn't look as vibrant, nor as matte as in the stock photos... Bear in mind that the sleeves will extend completely over your hands and fingers... Rolling them up is a little complicated because they are bell sleeves... I still roll them up. I purchased 10 of these shirts, so I'm a little unhappy as they're a little on the large size, but I consider this a learning curve... Not going to cry about it, and returning an order this size to China just isn't worth the cost, or the time for the money I paid... I recommend just be ultra careful with your sizing and realize that these aren't nearly as pretty in person as they are in the photos... But they're okay... If people want to be 100% certain they're going to love something, shop locally and in person.

    I have ordered several cloths from Lightinthebox.com. The one that was an absolute disappointment was the tuxedo which number is above. I paid about $147 which included faster shipping. I only received the pants and not the jacket. I opened a ticket but was told that it was my fault because I ordered only the pants which is not correct. When I ordered the tuxedo, I clicked to have the all tuxedo and requested size M. The price for the tuxedo was and still is about $92 once tax and shipping were added it came to $147. I am being told that it is my fault which is not correct. I am being told that I ordered only a custom pants which makes no sense since I simply requested size M without any special modifications. I had ordered the day before another tuxedo which I have no complaint about and I also ordered another suit, a dress for my wife and a shirt.

    I had intended to buy some more dresses which my wife liked but it will not happen. I am being told that the custom pants by itself cost more than the all tuxedo which make no sense to me especially that it was not at all what I ordered. VERY SORRY. I had bought all for my son's wedding but I had to go and buy directly where I live since you could not deliver the jacket.

    The dress is not true to size I bought an XL just in case it ran small I am normally in a medium or small. I cannot zip the dress up and I can't return the dress. Very disappointed.     I can't provide any information about the products themselves as they didn't arrive yet, but delivery processing is terrible. The order was placed on 21 May 2022 and took 10 days to post. For more than 3 weeks since it was sent the order is still located in China, travelling a few times between Dongguan City and Guangzhou. I wouldn’t suggest using the shop specifically if you need to get the ordered products in time.

    I bought pair of shoes, a jacket and a belt, and as expected, it took about a month to receive them, because they were shipped from China. Packages were poorly wrapped, and the items were not to my expectations. Two pair of shoes size 42, one was large the other small for my feet. The jacket was small and made of a very cheap material (contrary to a very fancy looking picture on the site). I sent them an email, attached with pictures and after a few email correspondences, I agreed for partial payment, rather than returning all the items to China, which would have cost me the same amount of purchasing money.

    I also filed a claim on PayPal for the same items. At first they agreed to partial payment, but later ignored partial payments, and sent email stating full payment after receiving all items, knowing that it is not worth for the customer returning the items to China. There is no quality control in China, and it is a method of deceiving American people with fabricated pictures, knowing that the policy of returning items to China is not worthwhile to customers. This is a fraudulent way that this company running a business.

    This is a beautiful shirt. I could only give it three stars because sizes run small and delivery is very slow. When tracking, your item may sit in Jamaica, NY for several days.     I purchased three dresses from this company after reading the great reviews on ConsumerAffairs website. I received my items today. The bag was partially torn and the inside bag was completely open. But my main issue is that one of the dresses didn't fit - not even close. In addition, the fabric is cheap, thin and poorly made. I started a return ticket with the company - which I find absolutely ludicrous to have to do to get MY OWN MONEY refunded in the first place. I then received a very lengthy email stating I had to send photo PROOF of my "quality issue" for them to continue to process my request for a refund.

    Keep in mind that I sent them pictures of the partially open packaging when I requested the return/refund. I did what they asked and tried to put the dress on...and then took pictures of how it DIDN'T fit at all. I emailed them back and I am now waiting for them to inform me IF I will get my refund! This can take 24 hours or more I was told. I am now going to dispute the charges with my bank/CC company and the BBB. This is the most ridiculous process for returning and refunding I ever encountered online or at brick and mortar stores.

    Just take a look at their refund policy below. And you have to pay insurance AND horrendous shipping costs that you don't get refunded back to you. That's why I will NEVER purchase from this company ever again. Refunds: The refund will be issued to your LightInTheBox Credit Account. You can either use Credits to pay for new order or withdraw it to the original account/card you paid earlier. The original shipping fee and insurance are non-refundable.

    I ordered 2 sundress and 1 didn't look good on me, therefore I wanted to return it. Before I could request a return I was forced to review the items in order to proceed to a "return request screen". When I requested return authorization, I was told that unless the item was damaged or not as described or photographed, I could not return it. I could exchange it for another size or accept a partial credit toward another item.

    They required photos and measurements, basically, you were required to keep it unless it was damaged. They declined my request stating they don't accept returns related to how it looks or if you don't like how it looks because they had provided a size chart along with the photo of the sundress. They don't elevate that rigid stipulation when you're making the purchase. What a racket! They offered me 10% discount if I kept it. It was approximately $23 and credited me $2. I didn't want to deal with them. Feels too rigged for a consumer to win. BELOW IS THEIR EXACT RESPONSE TO ME WHEN I REQUESTED TO RETURN IT:

    Considering returning the product may not be the most economical option. Instead, maybe keeping the item for a discount is a better solution: We would like to propose the following offers:

    a) Keep the item and get a Reward, which values 20% of the item price you wish to return. And same as a coupon/voucher, which can be used on the next order as a discount.

    b) Keep the item with a partial refund of 10% of the item price. Just like you get a 10% OFF discount on this item.

    c) Return the item to warehouse in Asia for a refund of the product price only. This option is only for RETURNABLE items according to return policy. Please understand that you will be responsible for return postage if you ordered the wrong size. If you're sure you ordered the correct size according to our shown size chart, please send us the measurements of the received product with the measurement photo, and we'll compare it with our size chart to confirm.

    I ordered these shoes: "Women's Slip-Ons Tassel Flat Heel Round Toe Casual Walking Shoes Suede Loafer." They were advertised as wearable in Fall/Spring/Summer. There was NO Contact Number on the Website, so that you could call and talk to a real person!     I am again waiting to get directions from customer service on how to return a dress. I ordered the dress as a bridesmaids dress.     I ordered several items after researching carefully the sizes as presented. The process for complaints is complex and while I bought (as an example) 2 pair of gloves, of different sizes...they both fit the same and are unacceptable. Cycling clothes fit badly, when compared to european or north american brands. With negative reviews I was offered a price reduction but very little information is otherwise available...and when it is, it wastes an enormous amount of time to find it. To add insult to injury, I was finally offered a 20% refund! Totally unacceptable especially as I purchased according to POSTED instructions.     I've never been so disappointed with the quality of a product. I purchase a T-Shirt that should say "Ride Free"! BUT!!! the T-Shirt I received, the R in Ride is 1/2 missing! And here is 1 & 1/2 E's missing in the word Free!!! So basically what should read "Ride Free" reads "ide Fre"!!! The second T-Shirt bought is so DISTORTED! and Not centered on the shirt. But most of all, when I tried to return the shirts I was told it would cost me $80 plus regular postal (considering it was shipped in Canada from 5380 Timberlea Blvd. in Mississauga, which is basically 10 km). Where it would be so easy to bring it back to and easy to return to sender. This is the BIGGEST and only DISAPPOINTMENT in all the things I've ordered online, and I will tell everyone about this if it is not taken care of in a professional manner.     This company is an absolute disgrace. I am not one to take the time to write reviews, but I am appalled by this company's awful customer service.     I wish I checked all the reviews before ordering! I was going on vacation and decided to ordered a few dresses from them (Order# **). Once I got those so called dresses I almost cried- cheap material, see through, poorly made- in some places stitches are out sizing is not right(I ordered the sizes specifically relying on their guide table, I measured them when I got them and sizing was completely off) , color is off ( for example, the picture shows bright yellow, I received an orange color dress). Horrible!

    Obviously, I reached out to them to return those pieces, but they told me that they don’t provide a return label and I will have to pay a return shipping to China myself. What in the world? They also offered me some coupons and discounts for next purchases. Next purchases will never happen! I declined their offer and demanded a refund. I escalated a complaint to a “manager” (ticket#**). She replied with coupon offers and now disappeared on me. I have never experienced such fraud!

Never had such a problem such as this. Received jacket and shirt, Both are labeled the size I ordered but fact they are not that size! LITB will not will (after many back& forth, wasting my time with a co that plays games) not refund my 100% refund or accept their undersized poorly stitch items back, who dose that?     I ordered a magnetic cell phone case for my Samsung Galaxy Ultra S22 for $16.45 plus shipping - the description on the website said it would fit my phone, yet in small letters also stated that it was also compatible with the Samsung S9. I didn't see that when I ordered it. Why would I think any different? I received the item, it didn't fit, obviously. I emailed them to do an exchange. They don't have return labels, so it would cost me $10 to mail it, so I could get the difference of $6.00 back? They offered me a 30% discount on another item.

    Why would I order another item plus more shipping without the confidence that I would get the exact item that fits my phone??? AND - When I emailed an offer to exchange, I received an email at 12:40 a.m. with instructions to either send the phone in at my expense, or keep the phone and receive a discount on a future purchase. Then one hour later at 1:40 am I receive an email that the matter has been resolved!! What the heck is going on over there? So very disappointed on all levels. I'll never order from that company again.

    I was surprised when I learned about the return policy, and the cost to do so. I have 2 pairs of shoes worth approx. $180 that don't fit well and I can't use, and too expensive to return. Their credit to rewards system is a joke, I also had to pay $139 .00 in customs and duty on a $450 order, which I was not aware of either, I did not know they were shipping from China, or I would not have ordered from them. Will not be ordering again regardless of the credit or "rewards" on my account.

    When I placed my order, one dress and one blouse were for an event in the same week. I contacted them several times because my order was not showing up on the app. It finally did about a week after I placed the order. The order arrived a week too late. 6 days after I needed the dress, and one day after I needed the blouse. The two dresses I ordered did not fit. One was of extremely poor quality and craftsmanship. It's been about 10 days and I still can't get any resolution on sending the two dresses back and getting some sort of a refund, or even a response when I said the hell with it just credit me the 10% of the purchase. Because I will never do business with these people again.

    While I am very please with the comfort and fit of the items I purchased my only complaint would be the time it takes to get the product to their customers. If I had know that it would take as long as it did I would have purchased from a local business. I like your products, but just don't like to wait so long to receive my merchandise. I know it takes prep time/shipping time, but most of all these items should be readily available to ship as soon as the customer's payment is approved. All in all I may purchase more of the items at a later date.

    While it took longer than expected to receive the item due to a supply issue, I eventually received it (2 months from order date) and am happy with the quality. However, the size I ordered was 2-3 years but I find the size is closer to 18-24 months. This could be the difference between Asian and North American sizing...

    Stay away from this company. It should NOT be used by North Americans. Bad bad bad quality (fabric as thin as a mosquito's wings, completely see-though). They don't accept returns or want to charge 40$ for S&H for a 25$ value of goods. They don't publish bad reviews. I started getting a ton of spam messages as soon as I made an order. So please, don't leave them any personal information.

    I bought two dresses from this company. One dress did not look or fit like I expected. The return process is difficult, but the company did contact me and offer me a refund. They have really cute styles at a very affordable price. Just research the size and color well before ordering.

    After I left them a bad review they sent me a link that was suppose to connect with an email. It does not! I ordered two dresses for a wedding. One dress was pretty and fit well. The material was a bit cheap but so was the price. The second dress I did not like and wanted to return. I tried to follow their process the next day. I was supposed to download a picture of the problem. The problem was I did not like the color, length or fit. This does not photograph and I am an old lady and do not know how to download a picture. They have no email or phone # to contact for help. I am stuck with the dress I can't wear.

    I bought about 13 items...only 2 of them I was moderately satisfied with. I spent $316.00 plus 90 dollars for duty. Guess what? Light in the box will only refund me $89.00 which according to them, is 40% of my purchase (nope). And the other option is to send it back and pay for postage. So after everything, it's not even worth it. I am better off going to a brick and mortar store. I wouldn't encourage anyone to buy from this site. It's a ripoff.

    I was very happy with my order. If you follow the sizing chart they have with each item your item should fit. The sizes are smaller than here in Canada. (I ordered up 2 sizes.)     Shipping states 2 weeks. I ordered this Apr 29 - 98 items still have not received. $706 shipping charge. $54 insurance. Duty insurance $51. Absolutely ridiculous. When you spend $3000 maybe shipping should be free. Very disappointed and sizing is wacky.

    My original review was not a good one. My custom sized order did not come as ordered. LightInTheBox offered to make me another outfit if I returned the first one. I found another outfit while we were working things out. I opted not to return the outfit and have sold it online. The cost was more than I could pay. Their customer service (Bloo) has come to me with a partial refund to resolve the issue without me returning the outfit. I appreciate that they are doing this. Bloo from their customer service was great to work with. They were good about everything. I am now giving them a 4 star review for their customer service.

    I ordered a 3 piece pants outfit to wear for my son's wedding in September. After looking at the standard measurements I decided to go the Custom route. Sent my measurements with the order. Got the outfit. Loved the material and the sewing was really good. That is where it ended and the nightmare began. I tried it on. The pants I could barely pull over my hips. Could not get them to my waist. Top went on just fine until I tried pulling it down to my waist. Too tight and bunched up around my middle. Jacket was too tight in the arms and I couldn't move my arms afraid I would tear the material. I measured the items after I had my husband help me get out of it. The measurements did not even come close to what I sent. Anywhere from 4 to 7 inches off. Warning. Do not buy from this company. They not offering to fix it. Their error not mine. I am out 113.00 USD.
