    The seat was as in the picture and hopefully is useful in enabling me to use my bicycle, since the ''standard'' seat irritates my prostate. The irritation stopped after I stopped cycling. However the angle of the seat is not good, so I need a base that would allow the seat to nosedive, i.e. the front should go towards the ground to allow me to extend my legs easily. I found this AFTER I tried the seat. You could have suggested it when I was looking for this seat. I bought the two-piece base from Amazon, since they give me an easy possibility to return it if it does not work. I chose LightIntheBox for the seat because it was considerably cheaper than Amazon.

    I innocently ordered a dress online with this company in the normal US size 12. First it took a long time to arrive. Then when I tried it on, it was so small it wouldn't even fit over my hips. So I went online to fill out the return slip and they denied it - said it was "made to order" and it was a final sale. NOWHERE DID IT SAY THIS IN THE ORIGINAL ORDER. COMPLETE RIP OFF. It's a Chinese company based in Beijing so you have no recourse. I just lost $140. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    I did not find the website easy to navigate but I wanted to try Light in the Box from Facebook advertising. The order was not that great, the items felt cheap overall and one item, I received the wrong color. The offer to keep the items for a 10% credit was insulting. The process for completing a return was confusing. I believe it is in a process or approval stage, I have no idea. It is too difficult to understand so I will wait.     I ordered a standard size wedding dress (size 10) as I had read in the reviews, from other buyers, that the dresses tend to run small. I specifically did not order a "made to order" dress, but when I attempted to exchange for a smaller size (within a few days of receiving the dress) I was told that ALL wedding dresses are considered "made to order" even if you order a standard size in their sizing chart and no exchanges will be allowed. What is that? I was offered $20 refund on a $119 dollar dress. An insult. I certainly didn't see this in the exchange policy I reviewed prior to purchase. I'm not sure how they expect to have repeat customers with that type of policy.

    All I wanted to do was exchange for a smaller size. I would have even paid a restocking fee, but no it is clear they do not want the item back once it has shipped. They asked for photos showing how it didn't fit. Why? I ordered a dress that was a standard size, I didn't ask for it to be special ordered to specific measurements so why would I send you photos of me in a bodice that didn't fit perfectly? I'm not sharing those photos with you. I will never do business with you again. Also important to note that this dress was stuffed, and I mean stuffed, into a box that was too small. Not handled with care. I can only imagine if I had returned a dress in that manner the complaints I would receive. Do not do business with this company.

    The draw of Lightinthebox is that they have products with styles I don't know where to find anywhere else. The price is too much after shipping costs. I'm suspicious of the validity of the reviews that say the shipping was fast. Mine took almost two months. Of the twelve items (pants and shirts) I ordered I got to use eight, but I like them a lot. Two of them were too big because the size I was sent a size bigger than I ordered. Two others were just too big even though I got the size I ordered. The good ones are not such a quality that I expect them to last more than a year but I am fine with that. I was even about to order again based on my learning experience. But then the expensive order total made it not seem worth it when I assume I might only get four items that fit right. I would love a local outlet where I could try the clothing on, and at least verify I get what I pay for.

    The shoes I'd ordered are too large for me, so I attempted to exchange them for a smaller size. Unfortunately, I was informed that due to them not having return labels I would need to go to USPS and pay between $10.00-$40.00 to ship them back. Upon writing the company back, complaining about this process, I've been informed they "must follow their policy." $40.00 is close to the cost of the shoes, so I'm donating them to someone in need. Having said this, I will never do business with this company again and suggest staying away from them.

    I ordered a gold evening gown based on the picture. It looked light, soft & flowing. Just what I was looking for. When it arrived, it was heavy & cheap looking. So different from the photo. The material was thick underneath the chiffon. The chiffon did not flow or cascade at all as in the photo. The beadwork was cheap. Overall, very cheaply done. I cannot wear it. Forget about returning it though. The bottom line of the supposedly 3 different return options they give you is all you get at the most is 50% credit back for another purchase. No full refund back to you. You’re out of luck. I learned my lesson. Think twice before you buy. The photo is deceiving. Buyer beware!

    I am quite happy with the quality of the material, the stitching, and the beauty of the artwork/designs on the products. The material is fairly soft and slightly stretchy. The colours do not run or fade in a cool wash. The price is perfect. I used the regular delivery and found it very slow on my second, larger (4-pc) order. The bust area fits well according to the size chart. If a woman has larger upper arms, I would recommend staying with short sleeved items as the sleeves fit slim (but not tight).     What a waste of money. 1 wig was either worn or damaged. 2 wigs were completely different than the one I ordered. So basically I paid $147 for 2 wigs because the others were garbage. This is very UNCLEAR in the item description which looks like you have the option of having the dress specifically tailored. Nowhere does it state that the item is non refundable or a “special” order. The item description should CLEARLY state NON REFUNDABLE.

    My most recent purchase was a pair of leggings, a shirt, and a necklace. The necklace broke when I wore it but with the shirt and the pants, the quality of the material was pretty nice. Although, the elastic around the waistband of the pants wasn't sewn together completely. When I went to put them on, it just snapped and I had to cut a little hole in it and sew it together myself.     When finding the Lightinthebox.com website I was thrilled! The choices were great and the options were amazing! As a working mom supporting my family, I had no time or energy to shop for a dress for my nephew's wedding so this was the perfect option for me and my family. I immediately reviewed the choices and made the decision to order three dresses to make sure I would find the right fit and style. My family was thrilled with my choices and the problem was solved quickly!

    BOY, was I soring disappointed when I learned the dresses were IMPOSSIBLE to return. The fit was off on two of my choices and the third was just horribly made and falling apart when I got it. I attempted to read the 12 page instructions to return which included many measurements needed and pictures to document for a full refund.

    The other choice was a store coupon at 40% of my order but after experiencing what I just had experienced with Light In The Box the last thing I wanted to do was place another order! The last option was expecting a 20% refund of the original amount I paid. After spending at least an hour with a measuring tape and my phone, I GAVE UP! As I mentioned I'm a working mom and have a very tight schedule and this option took the time I didn't have. My only option was to try and recover ANY OF THE COST I had spent. I chose this option out of sheer frustration and disappointment!

    I looked for a phone number on your website and my receipt with nothing found. How I wished I had 'read the small print' before placing this order! Lighinthebox.com you should be ashamed of yourself! I will be telling my friends and alerting customers who I guarantee will act just as I did and will be out of hard earned cash just like me. Shame on you and shame on me! This company relies on customers not reading the return guidelines to make a profit. How sad! I'm guessing the majority of reviews are fake too. Customer beware!

    I got three wigs from LightInTheBox. The price wasn't bad. But you get what you pay for. When I took one out of the box, the hair was falling all out of it. The other one was longer than I thought it was, but that may have been my misperception in looking at the picture. But the quality just wasn't that good. There was a gap in the wig. When you put it on your head, you could see the pieces underneath. I wasn't that thrilled with the quality of the wigs, and I wouldn't order that again from them. I wish they would also make it easier to return stuff because when you try to return it, they wanna offer you all of these other incentives and it was just too much of a hassle for me, so I just ended up keeping them. The wig that had the hair falling all out just ended up in the garbage.

    So the items are actually very nice. Which is surprising. But the whole website is a game. So if you want to return the item, you can’t return it in the United States. You have to ship it back to China. At your expense. They offer you credits to use at the store sometime but then there’s minimum’s on it suddenly, which they leave out. There’s just lots of little fine print moments. And the customer service is basically all automated so you don’t actually ever get a response to your questions.

    Overall I am satisfied with my shopping experience. It was a bit frustrating in the beginning. The apparel seems to come in a size or two smaller than regular U.S. sizes. I ordered a bunch of stuff in my normal size, when it arrived, most if not everything was too small. It costs more to return the merchandise than what the merchandise costs to buy. This was very frustrating. I ended up getting stuck with those and I don’t believe the discounts to reimburse you are very good at all.

    I kind of felt ripped off but I guess I should have read the reviews about the sizes running small. Since then I have ordered larger sizes and have been very happy with the merchandise and the price I paid for them. I think I have received pretty good quality products. I do have to say most of the product is good quality but it seems that the zippers on all the apparel are very poor quality. I don’t expect the zippers to last very long but only time will tell. I did have a problem with one zipper already and have only wore the garment twice.

    I would not recommend buying from this company unless you are 100% sure of what size/fit you're getting. I got a cycling kit as a gift for Christmas, but needed to try a different size. I ordered the Small, and was told by a customer service rep that I could still return the gift after the Small arrived (even though it was taking weeks for the small to get here).

    Not only did shipping take forever, but I was told that initiating a return would be almost as much as the item itself and the best they could do would be offering 50% refund on the item. I'm very upset by this because I tried to stay ahead of this issue. I will never order from them again as I feel I cannot trust their sizing/shipping process, and their return process is horrible.

    I ordered 10 different items. First time customer. The pricing is great, with some really good buys. For the price of each item, I was pleased with the quality. There were loose threads left hanging on the clothing items, but truthfully, that is to be expected on most clothing items. Even the things I sew at home have some threads that I missed trimming or loose ones I didn't see to pick off. The food chopper is great. Recommend for anyone who does much food prep. The crossbody purse left a little to be desired because the flap for the phone section was sewn on a little off center and the logo printed on it was very cheap looking. I also ordered 3 necklaces. They are beautiful. However, 1 had a broken chain that is easily fixed if you can work with tiny chains. I contacted LightInTheBox and they gave me a credit for a future order right away. The shipping was pretty much what I expected with the way the mail is running these days.

    One thing I wasn't thrilled with at all was the shipping package. I think that is how the chain on the necklace was broken. Everything was shoved into one of those plastic bags and very offhandedly sealed close. Not good. I believe the order should have been put in a box. It really looked like it had been through some trying times. It also felt really dirty, like it had been rolled around in a dirt pile. Other than that, I was pleased with what I ordered. Oh, one more thing. Everything was made in China, normally I prefer to buy American, but I didn't know where the stuff was made, oh well. My problem with buying any clothing from China, the sizing stinks compared to American sizes. I've lost a lot of weight and was thrilled to not wear a tent size anymore, but the size I ended up ordering because of the size difference was a 5X. I was praying everything would fit. Thank God I took a real good look at the size chart before I placed my order or there would have been a lot of returns.

They sent me a size 4 that was labelled "large" on the package. The coat was supposed to be lined. One coat was but the other was not. Very cheap and low quality.     I've made two separate orders from them - they take 5-6 weeks to arrive. I suspect the product is not made in China until the order is made & paid. The first one went to a friend and it fit. The next order was two nice shirts for my wife that are both two large. Their process for accepting a return, with me paying for the shipping to China, is absurd. They want me to take photos of my wife with the shirt on holding a measuring tape to prove the shirt is or is not within THEIR measuring guidelines.     THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!!! Read all the reviews anywhere you can find them. EVERY real person that wrote a review has the same issue I had. They sent me complete junk! The items looked NOTHING like I ordered. Literally the worst quality items I have ever received and was just shocked by how they will slap a sticker on anything and send it out. It was just so shocking how awful each item was that I cannot believe they have legit positive feedback from anyone other than fake accounts they make up themselves.

    When you try to return they make it impossible by first asking me to take photos which I did and then they said they wanted photos in the original packaging in order to return. Who keep the trashy clear cellophane packaging that Items come in? It was ridiculous and at that point I realized their entire operation is just a scam and us Americans are dumb enough to keep ordering from them! Here are some reviews I just found online from people in the last few weeks just like me. It is shocking the amount of negative reviews!     My one big criticism of Light In The Box is the preparing and QC times. I currently have an order that I placed three weeks ago (Jan 17) that still has items that are being prepared.     I would not recommend ordering from this company because if you have to return anything they make it impossible. They won't give you your money back (even though you aren't asking for tax and shipping you spent to begin with). They try to jew you down to the last penny to get any refund.     Between the 2 orders placed, I ordered 6 men's tops. Of the 6, only 1 (the white compression running shirt) was sized correctly and well represented on the website. The other 5 were awful and much bigger in size than expected. The men's compression running shirt I ordered was shown and described as grey and red, but arrived in soft feminine colours of pink and light blue?! Of the remaining tops ordered, NONE were yarn-dyed. Upon inspection after arriving, they appeared to be dyed AFTER construction, which resulted in the underlying white fabric showing through at the seams when the fabric was even slightly stretched. This was VERY noticeable on the black and tan Henley that I ordered. The tan coloured lace-up long sleeve tee ordered was printed to look like it was weathered fabric, but resulted in an unattractive low-budget look.

    The two collared polo shirts that I ordered had collars that were far too big, looking like something that would have been stylish in my grandfather's era. These collars were clearly not designed by anyone who has their finger on the pulse of current fashion. All of these problems could have been easily rectified to my satisfaction if the seller had an effective return program. Not so. Instead, I was offered a VERY small percentage of the purchase price as a credit toward future orders! Like I would EVER order again!?!?

    First order with LITB and delivery time was reasonable considering where the parcel came from. Ordered 6 clothing items and quality appears good at first glance. Long term use will determine their durability. One item, I thought were thermal underwear turned out to be spandex tights. Looked at the description again and they are listed as both (odd). The winter (ball cap style) insulated hat with ear flaps and face protector is way too large. One size fits all? Not really. Was going to attempt return for both articles but postage costs would have equaled the value of the two items so didn't bother. I do plan on ordering again (prices are great!) so will pay particular attention to the details before choosing. Also note that sizes (S, M, L etc.) tend to be one size smaller so use the actual size measurement guide to select the best fit. My thermal pants are a large. I am generally a medium. Overall I am very satisfied.

    Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They don’t take ownership when they make a mistake. There’s no transparency. No honesty. They deflect the blame on other people. They are not interested in customer service, or customer satisfaction. When trying to communicate with these people, it’s very difficult to communicate. You’re always repeating yourself or trying to explain in a simpler way so it’s understood. It’s very frustrating and annoying when you cancel an order, they say they’ll pause the order until they hear from you and they don’t. They go ahead and ship it, it’s just really messed up.

    I received the Men's Tracksuit Sweatsuit in two different sizes and both have been different from what I ordered. The original order size I filled in was XXXL!     It is exceedingly difficult to get in touch with customer support. This order, every item Said "ships within 24 hours". I placed/paid for this order 1/26/23, today is 2/3/23 (8 calendar days later) and it still shows to be 'in processing'. That means over 800% promised processing time and still counting. This is my second order from LitB and I was very happy (albeit FRUSTRATED for similar reasons) with the products received. They were precisely as described on site, so I thought I'd give them another go... Not sure how I feel about it now...
