My helper was knowledgeable and gave me two sequential options to try to get the ice-maker in my refrigerator door working again. His first option was to turn down the temperature in the freezer section. I did that and woke up this morning to find my icemaker one third full already!

I had a issue passing smog and I did not want to just throw parts at the problem. I was connected with a technician that help me troubleshoot to make sure the suspected part was bad before replacing it. I had taken this care to smog repair shops that said it was too hard to fix and too many things were wrong. I was able to fix it and pass smog with replacing a $35 part.

The issue is after setting up new tv, paring remote and click hdm2 box on tv on the home bar, I did not find my purchased app inon called pixil I the samsung apps bar. Suggested remedy: reload app. Too early to tell if reload is 'final answer'.

I was billed for an unauthorized membership of $65.00 for July and August of this year, 2025. I called the customer service number to inquire and was told my money for August would be refunded back to my Visa card. I am owed $65.00 for July as well, and would like that amount refunded back to my credit card. Of course, the chat box was of no help. They wanted me to sign up for a membership (ha!) and never came back to give me an answer.

I was completely satisfied with the person who answered my questions. But what I was upset about about was I was told that I had to download the app by the chat which was not true and it said it was $5.00 and refundable then my card got charged $65.00 which was not told to me so that was not correct. I asked for a refund and deleted the app.

I have never heard of this company and I certainly do not call for help/advice or any kind and pay a fee. We have a personal and business attorney, doctors and specialists at our fingertips, no pets, and all our tech issues are part of warranty services or contracts with businesses we already deal with. The first time I heard about this company was today when a $37 charge posted to my credit card. I have to wait until it actually finalizes before I can open a dispute. We have 4 email addresses and none of them are recognized on this site as having an account - my cards are supposed to be secure online, but I'm removing them immediately because somehow something slipped in and took my money. I can't find a number to call.

I was not aware there would be a charge beyond the initial $5.00. I’m sure it was in the terms but when someone is stressed to the max already, who has time to search through all that? I was charged 65.00 at the end, I didn’t get any word except from my credit card company. Ok, I’ll pay it because I should have read the terms. The tech did fix my issue. However, I saw something about charging my account every month to be a member of Just Ask. I do not agree to that and I do not want it. Please remove my credit card you are storing under my name I don’t like that part at all.

Excellent service! My agent was skillful and provided an holistic view of my issue with alternate options to provide a comprehensive understandable answer. Needed the advice of a mechanic. Chat said it would be $25. After the fact I found out I was charged $47 by PayPal. Come to learn that the upcharge was for a monthly subscription to their service. OK, all I wanted was one answer. I would never have signed up for a subscription before I tried out the service (which was not the silver bullet I was hoping them to be). Be very careful of the auto enroll in a monthly fee structure. And now a month later they want $42 a month.

The vet was extremely friendly. Gave me very educated advice, I ended up taking my sick puppy into an emergency veterinarian hospital just to find out that she somehow ingested cannabis and that’s why she was acting sick. I didn’t need to take her to the vet., the online vet told me to watch her overnight and had I listen to his advice I wouldn’t have had to pay so much money at the vet, but I just wanted to be sure that she was gonna be OK. So I took her to the vet and they confirmed what the online vet had already said. I recommend this app to anybody that is low income and cannot afford to take their animals to the vet and need alternative methods of treatment.
I will be using this app for the rest of my life when it comes to my pets.. I have six birds, two cats and two dogs, so this app is going to be very useful for me in the future. You never know when something could arise with your pet and my pets are a part of my family so it’s nice to know that I can access veterinarian advice immediately whenever I need it for a very low price.. They have answered all of my questions, in a timely manner. They have given my questions a lot of thought and attention to the subject matter. In addition, to answering my questions; they also had questions for me to answer, that further clarified the situation! I have been asking them about receiving money from an unknown source, as a gift. Then, being asked for a payment to be made through Cash App for IRS fees. They were getting as much information, before they connected me to an expert, in that type of case. My case was given to an expert, who instructed me how to proceed.

It was a frustrating experience to get to a chatbot on the website. The lady on the chatbot was very good and very helpful. She understood what I was asking and was very quick to get a technical to call me back. I was very very surprised to have to sign up for some monthly subscription to get an answer to my question. This operates more like a scam than a helpful search engine. I had a question about an upload on itunes and was referred to their customer service number. It initially asked for a $5 charge and that an agent would be with me shortly once the credit card went through. Multiple chat boxes later after I was informed an agent would be with me; nobody ever called. AND I found out that a $53 dollar charge was posted to my CC for a "membership". I called my CC company and disputed the charge and I called JustAnswer to dispute the charge. To their credit they cancelled my "membership" and said they deleted the charge... We'll see if it happens but stay away from this site. I believe they are scam artists; a very disingenuous website. Stay away!

I had a problem in interpreting the very poorly written manual for our garage chest freezer (Frigidaire) to make sure the temperature was correctly set after we had defrosted it and turned it back on. He explained the 'Freeze Boost', the best temp for the freezer, and how the unit locks the temp control, which had to be reset. The lock was not unlocking properly, so he had me unplug the unit again, which did the trick. We have a lot of meat in the freezer, so this was important to me. Matthew was very patient and methodical, which I appreciated!

I want a refund. This is a scam. I was led to believe that I would be charged a one time $5 fee for a consultation. I did the consultation on April 28th. I just noticed a random charge on my account today under a totally different name “Askalawyeroncall.com”. Upon further investigation, I noticed that they had been charging me $46/month going all the way back to May. I was only able to make the connection that the charge was from JustAnswer because I tracked the charges and remembered that I did a consultation with JustAnswer around that time. They charged my account on a different date every month.
I cancelled my subscription today after noticing the fee, but they wouldn’t let me delete my card from the account. I want a refund and my card permanently removed from the account. I cancelled the subscription today when I realized that I was unknowingly enrolled. When I tried to remove my card, the website wouldn’t allow me.

When it is am and the nearest emergency vet is over an hour away -- you hop online and search for help. When this website came up, I was skeptical ... but desperate! I mean I use online help for Dr's, Internet, other companies, etc. -- so when I needed to "talk" to someone about my dog coughing up phlegm that looked pink and I was concerned about blood, they answered RIGHT AWAY!! They followed up, multiple times! Was worth every penny of the $ spent at 3 am instead of driving over an hour for 400 plus bill and hours of lost sleep.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. When I first chatted with them, they clearly told me it was just a one-time $5 payment — I even have a screenshot of that conversation. As soon as I entered my card information, they immediately charged me $65 plus $5. I messaged them right away to ask what the $65 charge was for, but never received a reply. Later, I tried to dispute it, but wasn’t successful. Then, the following month, I discovered another $65 charge. That’s when I realized they had signed me up for a subscription — something they never mentioned in chat or anywhere on their website.
This feels deceptive. They weren’t upfront or honest about the charges, and they misled me just to get my card information. How can you trust a company that isn’t transparent with customers about how much they will be charged and for what? They kept saying “it’s only $5,” which turned out to be completely false. This was my experience with JustAnswer.com — very disappointing and dishonest.

I had a problem with the handoff from my email provider and Outlook after I had a new fiber network installed. "Mr. Clark" understood my problem and offered 5 possible solutions. The problem was quickly resolved. I don't understand technology very well (I'm 80), but Mr. Clark's explanations were clear and easily understood. He took the time to explain anything I didn't understand. For instance, he suggested 5 items for me to check, then patiently explained to me how to print the list. Great experience.

I was led to believe that it would be a one time $5 fee. After contact I got a charge of $50 and advised by Pay Pal that I had signed up for a monthly subscription. It was very difficult to find out how to cancel my "subscription", but was able to do so. I want a refund for $45 dollars as I was led to believe it would be a $5 charge. I know JustAnswer will cite the fine print and deny my claim. What a scam.

I had an appointment for a Visa to The Netherlands which I needed to be cancelled. In the ‘Manage Appointments’ there was no cancellation option. However JustAnswer site came up. I worked with them on the issue. The website kept me in a loop. Finally we sent an email with a request to manually cancel the appointment. It took a day before I got a response but the conversation about my standby generator issue was very helpful. We discussed the troubleshooting that I had already done and confirmed that the most likely cause of my issue is a faulty battery charger. He was able to track down the part number for the battery charger which we found out is currently out of stock at the generator manufacturer site. He found an online source that I was able to order the part through. Overall satisfied with the encounter.

I noticed a heron in a nearby pond that unfortunately tried to eat a plastic bag. Dr. ** asked questions to better understand. And warned me not to try approach. Dr. A. suggested wildlife sources.. Fortunately I didn't need any (this all happened over a weekend, which might have been a problem?). The bird seems to have solved its problem. My only concern is that the original response took several hours.

Learned a lot about different messaging settings and a little about SIMs. Not sure I want to know this much, but . . . at least I can fool around with the settings to be able to send messages. One problem was because I couldn't get my SIM card out, and I still can't, so the Verizon SIM was still available under my number.
