    I had the same issue that I see many on this site and The Better Business Bureau site have had. I asked a question and after a Q&A with the ChatBot it asked if I wanted someone to contact me to answer my question. I chose Yes. It took me to a page asking for my credit card info to charge me $5 for the service. I tried to put my info in, but apparently my credit card company new about the issues with Just Answer and declined the charge that had grown to $65. Nowhere on the page for credit card info did it state anything about a membership unless it was very well hidden. The BBB needs to find a way to make JA become more visible in that area.

    If you check customer reviews on BBB, you'll see a huge amount of complaints on the same issues I sought help with. Not recognizing cancellations, support is unreachable and being left with one choice - connect to Just Answer. There is a $5 charge. Then I was charged $38 because it said it was my membership and/or monthly fee for joining Just Answer. I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR $43 of unauthorized charges. This is a pattern and abandon hope all who enter into a subscription with Peacock.

    I was given a phone number by Just Answer that was supposed to be for Peacock support. It rang and rang. No one answered. The Just Answer employee wanted me to contact him to let him know if his directions were followed. At $5 a shot plus trying to charge me for a subscription, I'm not going to continue calling. JUST ANSWER IS DISHONEST, DECEIVING, AND THEIR ACTIONS ARE ILLEGAL. BEWARE. Just Don't use it is the answer.

    I booked round-trip tickets to and from Las Vegas to San Diego, and today decided that I needed to add one suitcase. Alaska airlines did not give me any problem. However, when I called Frontier Airlines, they re- directed me to fill out a very small form below saying that it would charge me five dollars, but it would be completely refunded. When I filled out the information and saw the 5 dollar refundable fee, I didn’t think much of it, but I did go to the next page and read it and it was charging me a $40 fee for member membership without disclosing that on the phone. Had I not read that, I would’ve been possibly charged had my bank not stopped it for fraud, which is exactly what that was. In good faith, I cannot use this company again nor can I recommend them. What I can say is, read the fine print before you click!

    Lexus expert was remote and no repairs possible. He diagnosed the problem with my car door, and provided phone numbers for numbers for several remote mechanics in the Toronto area. That was on a Sunday night and could only reach one of the four. On Monday, I was able to get the car to a local garage, and it is being fixed today. He was friendly and professional.     Unless you are very good at cancelling accidental subscriptions, avoid this website at all costs. Huge money suck! They bill $55/mo. I had no idea I signed up for the membership, I thought I just paid for the one time fee and I didn't catch it until 5 months later. They only refunded me for 3 months of that even thought I asked one question and already paid the $ for that one question. The answer provided did not answer my question either. Waste of time and money.

    My old Internet had to be replaced by T Mobile because it was working erratically. When the new Internet Machine came, I requested my neighbor to transfer the old SIM card to the new machine. My neighbor successfully finished the setup. I was able to use my computer system again. That evening, when I turned on the Samsung Smart TV that I bought directly from Samsung, I read that I have to input the T Mobile WI FI password. It said it was the wrong password. So, I googled the tel no of the corporate office of Samsung. When I called, Just Answer picked up my call. The surrogate helper informed me that a TV technician can easily do the job. She also further stated that before the technician will call, I have to pay $ 5.00 that lly refundable. Especially when the job is done.

    I gave all the info that was needed. The TV technician did call and after describing to him the problem, he told me to call my Internet Service Provider. T Mobile should be able to resolve the wrong password. So we ended the conversafundable. Especially when the job is done. I gave all the info that was needed. The TV technician. My bank, Schwab Bank alerted me if I personally authorized the transaction and I said yes. After I checked my account I saw that I was charged $ 60.00 instead. I felt cheated. Just Answer is a fraudulent company. They should not be allowed to do this kind of business. The name of the TV Technician is Josh G. from Just Answer.

    I came upon Just Answer when my dog was having issues late at night and I was looking for some advice. It looked like I would be charged $5.00 for a question. I signed up and asked my question and basically was told to contact my vet. Not super helpful.     I was totally misled. I needed to ask a vet question and it looks like when you join you get access to questions. The "vet" told me to go to a vet asap and then charged me an additional $65. The $5 they charge for the "trial membership" claims that I could cancel within a week. They did not make it easy to figure out how to cancel. The best is, I tried to dispute the charge and the associate I was chatting with asked if I'd like to talk to the provider re: my dispute. I said yes and he sent me a link to pay another $5 to join again. What a total rip off!

    This place is basically a legal scam. They have real lawyers that will actually help, but what they don’t tell you is that they have hidden fees and charges. I was told I only had to pay 5 dollars to ask a question to a lawyer. After asking on a 5 minute call I was charged 45 dollars for a membership I never wanted. What else did I expect from suits.

    Was told by Epson that to resent my ink pad monitor in my printer I had to use JustAnswer to fix the warning problem, and that it was a one-time $5 fee. Well, they tack on a $48 subscription fee that it claims is non-refundable. All the tech did was send me an email with a YouTube link for how to reset this--Epson could and should have given me that for free. This isn't worth $53, or even the $5! Will request a refund.

    Awful, awful, awful, lawyers ok but the company steals from deceitfulness. They force you to buy a membership for 55 dollars. They get you by asking for 5 dollars, then they add on to 55 dollars. I'm disabled and my mother just passed away, and was going to buy some nice flowers for her, but they took all my money for the month and now I can not buy them. I asked for a refund but of course, they said no. I would highly recommend using another company.

    $65/Month Membership I Never Knowingly Signed Up For...this issue started with a call to our vet. Our dog was chewing on a plant, and we were concerned on whether it was poisonous or not. The vet told us in order to ask our question, we need to go through JustAnswer. He also told us that there would be a cost of $5.00. We signed up and got our answer from the vet and was told that the plant our dog was chewing on was harmless.

    Soon thereafter, as I was going through our credit card purchases, I noticed that we were charged $65 on top of the $5.00. I do not remember signing up for a membership when I opened the account. If it said I was signing up for a membership, it sure wasn't obvious. I also never got any form of email confirmation either. So, I called them and cancelled the membership. 3 months later I noticed that I was still getting charged $65 per month. So, I called their support number and all they would do is refund the last payment, but not the other 3 payments. I asked for a supervisor but was told I would get the same answer. JustAnswer still needs to refund me $195.00.

    Scammers who auto enroll you into an expensive subscription and make it difficult to cancel. They have lawsuits against them for this reason. If you don't notice for a long time they will only refund you for 90 days. They prey on older people who don't understand internet or computers. There is also no way to verify the "experts" and you are better off hiring an actual expert who cares about you....or using Google which is free.

    I had confusion about the proper extension cable wiring from my Honda EC2200i generator, using a 3-prong 30A L-530P connector, to the 4-prong transfer switch at my house, using a L14-30C plug.     My 9-year-old, 70 lb. German Shepherd/Lab mix will eat anything! This time, it was about 8 oz. of chocolate chips. I was able to chat with a veterinarian within about 5 minutes, and the cost to join was only $5. Thankfully, it wasn't enough to be toxic for his weight/age/health. A few years ago, he ate half an onion. That time, I called animal poison control. I actually spoke with a vet on the phone as opposed to a chat, but it took longer to be connected and it cost me $95 if my memory is correct.

    JustAnswer was efficient (initial intake was done by a chatbot), the vet seemed knowledgeable as she gave a confident response, and was friendly (no judgment about my taking my eyes off of him long enough to get into trouble...roughly about the same time as it takes a toddler). She also let me know that he may experience some agitation and GI upset. I'm very happy with this service and highly recommend it!

    I had just replaced my transfer case on my 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 and the 4WD stopped working. I double checked my connections but needed a scan tool before I could go further. Kevin provided a schematic so that I could follow along and we determined that the front differential lock had lost a ground. I never would have guessed since I'd never had a problem with the 4WD before and the transfer case replacement was completely unrelated, just coincidental. If your 4WD lights blink, don't forget to check the front differential lock circuit, there's no mention on the internet about this. Kevin REALLY knows his stuff, I owe him big time.     The problem was not so much with the "Just Answer" technical support company, as it was with the poor design of my new Epson XP-4200 Inkjet Printer. I had used Hewlett Packard inkjet printers for years, until the recent downgrade of my MS-Windows desktop computer from Windows 10 to Windows 11. From then on, printing graphics within an MS-365 Word document was unsatisfactory, as images were truncated, but the users, including me, were blamed for Microsoft's failings. I also wished to use a USB-A cable rather than Wi-Fi to connect the printer to my desktop, to maintain my privacy, and that was an ordeal. Suffice to say, the main problem is the small, limited display, the inadequate instructions, and the non-intuitive symbols Epson has chosen for "Stop" and "Start".

    I would expect the "Stop" button to be round and red, or to have the octagonal shape of a US Stop sign. But no, the symbol is a down-pointing equilateral triangle enclosed within a circle, a thin white line on a dark background. I would expect "Start" to be a round green light, like the "Go" signal in a US traffic light, but no, it is an incomprehensible diamond shape with a vertical line down the middle.

    Seiko-Epson, the Japanese company that designed the printer, still needs to do "usability testing" of its home printers in the US. Now that I have used my label maker to put "Stop" and "Start" signs on the front panel of the printer, printing is a bit better, but I would still like Epson to provide a software application that will print, copy and scan, from a menu, such as the “HP Print and Scan Doctor”. The tech support person, of ** origin, operating from Great Britain, was not fully aware of these issues. Finally, I moved the printer cable from a USB-A port that had become too loose, to an fresh unused port on my desktop, which I think helped solve the problem. Tech Wallah

    Justanswer.com is an aggressive and a rather disingenuous company appearing on top of many Google searches.. Their service fees are ridiculously high if one needs only one answer for one specific question and doesn't want to be a regular client. Furthermore, once one is a subscriber (I became one unintentionally), they won't keep you notified about recurrent charges, so it is easy to overlook them. Clearly, that's what they expect their clients to do. This is not the most honest way of making business.

    I have been having an issue with my ear being plugged along with an echo sound for 4 weeks now. I made an appointment with a local ENT that charged $750 for a visit.     I went to the Just Answer website to have a question answered concerning a malfunction in my vehicle. The website states a “fully refundable fee of $5” will be charged to my credit card to access a mechanic’s advice. Input my card info and immediately I was charged $34 plus the $5! I went to the chat to get an explanation of why I was charged $34 in addition to the $5. I was told I was charged for a full month subscription but I could cancel it at any time. I cancelled it and did receive a refund for the $34 but NOT the additional $5. Needless to say I was so upset I didn’t even get to ask my question! I don’t recommend this website to anyone.     I've always had good experiences with JustAnswers and this time was no different. The bot did everything right as far as apologizing for the vet not responding in a timely manner. The bot had to actually apologize for the lack of response 3 times and on the 3rd it offered me a refund. It issued my refund but then several hours later the vet tried to message me and was acting like there wasn't an issue so either the vet didn't know she was several hours late in replying to my question or just didn't care, either way I felt she should have been the apologizing not the bot
