The help I got was very clear and precise but I was not tech enough to follow along well enough to get the results I was after. I will try again when I have help here. The steps I was asked to take were very detailed and needed to be followed in order, I was not able to do that.

I have two cats… one has severe (understatement) anxiety going to the Vet, so when she developed sudden diarrhea and I called for advice, (because she hadn’t been seen in over a year), they refused to give me any whatsoever. Not even to reassure me that if it was something new she had eaten (which it was), it should clear up in 24 hours (which it did). I received good advice when my regular Vet turned a blind eye… not to be soon forgotten.

Service was user friendly, opted for a phone call and got a transcript of the call. Rio was helpful and answered all my questions. Was able to locate the reservoir that couldn't be found! Problem solved and Buick is silly for putting the power steering reservoir in that spot.

I couldn’t find the information I needed to cancel subscription to a program I ordered online. My dog aspirated some water. Given that it is the weekend and the Emergency Vet costs $2000.00 to walk in the door, I decided to try JustAnswer. The veterinarian (Eva **) I was connected to helped to allay my fears and provided useful, actionable help and information on how to provide appropriate supportive care for my dog. I will be monitoring my dog for the next 36 hours and following up with her regular vet on Monday just to be safe. JustAnswer may have helped keep me from overreacting and running up a huge bill for things I could do at home.

I called to ask about a tick bite. According to the chatbot, I was supposed to get an actual phone call from a doctor but got a chat. When I responded to their question, I never heard back and it said the call was completed.

The lawyer helped us get the ball rolling on a criminal offense by a family member. My daughter stole her grandmother’s debit card in May of 2025 and granddaughter continues to live in our home and we fear that she might do it again. The electrician was super helpful and reassuring. I feel confident in his answers and when I tried to make repair, it went perfectly. Before finding the service, I tried calling the manufacture of the piece of equipment that I was trying to use and was on hold for 30 minutes before I hung up. I had tried calling them again and was just sent to an answering service. I will use the service again in the future for any help or questions or reassurance that I need in any type of repair. The fee for help was well worth it. I will definitely recommend this to friends and family. Very easy to access and quick to answer.

The online Vet answered all my questions and gave helpful advice. I was very satisfied with the advice about my shepherd mix's puncture wound. I did not want to drive an hour to her vet if not necessary during rainstorm, so it was very helpful to know I was doing right by spraying anti biotic spray into the puncture wound and allowing it to drain. As long as dog is eating, not feverish or lethargic, vet thinks she is ok. Will check again in a day or two.

Excellent just unsure if he needs emergency care. He just started to get sick all of a sudden. He's foaming white fluid from the mouth and he's whining a lot. He also has a spot on his ear that is white. He has been constantly whining all day long. He has been vomiting a lot.

All the response appeared canned and AI generated using key words from my interaction w/ the bot that took the info before interacting w/ the "ATTY". Deceptive pay schedule as well. Will not suggest others use. Want a refund, but they make it so time consuming and difficult, it appears all they want is the initial funds and could care less about return customers. Avoid!

I was told a $5 dollar charge was necessary to connect with someone to answer questions. I said yes then get a charge for $65. These shady scumbags charge the card after the call is made. Do not trust anything from these losers. I highly advise not to use this service.

Software technician Dharmender R was great. What wasn't great was the mind-numbing number of chatbots and live representatives I had to deal with in the hour before Dharmender got on the line and worked his magic. Also I was dismayed to learn that the refundable membership I bought isn't actually refundable. When I purchased McAfee virus protection, live customer support was included in the subscription. I will relay my disappointment with Just Answer to them. Maybe they will hire a more reputable firm to fulfill their customer service needs.

Just Answer did not tell me upfront whether I would be charged to use their site. I entered the problem I was having. After an exchange of questions and answers, they asked for my email address, which I gave them. A few questions later, I was suddenly transferred to a person from Technical Support. After a few questions from Technical Support, I asked a direct question: "Am I being charged for this?" The response did not answer my question and instead asked me another question without telling me whether I was being charged. At that point, I immediately clicked off the site. If they try to charge me, I will not pay them, and I'll use my resources to see that I don't have to. I don't trust this website and would not recommend it to anybody.

Thank goodness for the experts at JustAnswer. Somehow my Galaxy S9 phone system got corrupted and they helped walk me through all the steps to try and fix it. I was having an issue with my car alarm causing a no-start situation. Narrowed it down to a dead key FOB battery (20 yrs old!). Installed new battery and got the car to start, but now check engine light was on and it ran rough. Went on JustAnswer and agreed to a $5 charge. Whoever I was chatting with insisted that I had a bad fuel cap or O2 sensor. Didn't make sense so I did the easiest thing- disconnect the battery for 30 mins. Voila! Runs perfect and no more dash light. One week later, checking my bank statement online and I see a $38 membership fee from just answer. Called the toll-free number and quickly got a no questions asked refund through the automated system. It's like they know why you're calling.

Dr. ** was friendly, compassionate, and also precise with his directions. It helped me a lot. Our small dog Soy Sauce got into 2mg of my husband’s THC Gummies and I had no idea what happened or how to treat it/if we needed to go into the vet. Dr. ** guided me through the symptoms to look for. Fantastic service. I would definitely recommend and use again. The doctor was very patient and addressed all of my concerns regarding chocolate poisoning in dogs. My 90 lb Weimaraner stole and ate 6 oz of dark chocolate truffles. I was on hold with poison control for 20 minutes with no answer. In that time, I chatted with the online vet and was given an excellent diagnosis regarding degree of toxicity.

Well, lesson learned. Don't be in a hurry on the web. I had a problem with my Panasonic microwave and did a google search. I scanned the first result and pansonic appeared in the url so stupid me I thought it was the Panasonic website. It wasn't. It was "Just Answer" As I went through prompts, nothing popped out indicating I wasn't in a Panasonic web site. The first strange thing to happen was a $5 charge to get help. I thought that was strange but I wasn't going to get picky over $5 and I wanted my issue resolved. So I continued. Nowhere did I see a message that I was signing up for a month at $65. Maybe I was in too much of a hurry so shame on me but signing up for a month at $65/month should be a lot more obvious than it was. I didn't realize I was charged the $65 until I saw it on my credit card statement. No receipt via email, nothing. Ok, I can chalk all the aforementioned to my stupidity.
However, the expert I got didn't know how to fix the issue anymore than I did. He apparently did the same google searches I did and came up with the same wrong answers I did. And I paid $70 for that? I ended up slowing down and getting in a chat with a real Pansonic person and they gave me the fix within 5 minutes. The correct fix. So bottom line, the $70 was a rip off and I don't appreciate the lack of properly presenting the the charges that you're going to pay. Just Answer is a rip off.

Our tech installed a new display and the power control panel but despite replacing these parts three times, the display continued to be very jerky and ultimately failed altogether the last time. Just Answer's tech recommended replacing the transformer with an after-market part since GE no longer makes a new one for our model. My freezer door on my French door would not close completely on the left side. There were no obstructions or ice buildup. Jared walked me through the process of taking the door off and drawers out to look for the problem. Result was a screw that attached the drawer slide to the freezer wall had backed out enough to stop the slide about one inch from fully closed. Tightened the screw, cleaned the freezer and problem solved.

Since my issue could not be resolved, Dr. ** assured me I would not be charged because they could not prescribe meds which is what I needed... I was having a problem with my Verizon TV. I googled Verizon Tv and somehow got this site, which I thought was Verizon. Well they asked me for $5 and the technician spent some time with me--and then I realized the $5 was just a 'signup fee' and I had been charged $53 for a month subscription to "JustAnswer.com". Well I never consented to this, so I raised the roof until I got a refund. I used the chat with a vet feature after my dog was bitten. We did an online chat and live phone call and I uploaded a photo of the wound for the vet to look at. He answered all my questions and gave me a list of items to get from the local pharmacy to take care of the wound. He told me to keep an eye on it and if it develops an infection, I would need to take my dog to a physical vet for in person treatment. The vet was a little hard to understand, but he was very kind and knowledgeable.

The professional's assistance was helpful. However, JustAnswer.com intentionally hides notification that they are signing you up for recurring transactions rather than the implied one-time charge. This includes not sending any confirmation communication indicating that this is a membership. When I requested a refund of the recurring charge, which they have declined, they sent me a screenshot of a hypothetical sign-up page that declares the price to be $45/month. They charged me $65/month.
I replied that in that case I needed the refund for the $20 overcharge that occurred twice, and they have declined that as well- each time with an automated message. I have since learned that they have been sued for intentionally hiding their recurring charge notifications. One such example is shown here, **. Another example is shown here **. A third is here **. I cannot add a receipt in order to become a "verified buyer" because they do not send a receipt. This is part of their method to hide the fact that this is a recurring charge.

This site is very misleading. They make it sound like you’re only paying 5$ but charge you 65$ for a membership and will not refund you. It is much cheaper to go to the vet AND pay for medication than to be charged 70$ to be told you should go to the vet.

This business model is a classic bait and switch. I went on to the Epson website for help on an issue I was having with my printer. Then a bot asked me a bunch of questions, assuring me that it would be passed along to tech person who would come on and help. Then the handoff was to a paywall that insisted that for a small $5 fee a representative would come on and handle my inquiry competently. My spider senses went up, but for $5 I figured it was worth a try.
The person came on after a few minutes and shortly after he did, I saw a charge flash across my phone for $48 on top of the $5 they said they would charge. Then the representative sent me a set of steps that were not the correct steps to address my issue and after that the call was ended automatically, I presume in accordance with some timing mechanism because a recording came on telling me I was done. It was the biggest ripoff ever. I was charged more than advertised and did not receive the service paid for. Do not use them. If they pop up per some other company that you otherwise trust, do not give Just Answer the benefit of the doubt. I have to imagine that a class action lawsuit is in the company’s future.

I just had a fantastic experience with Jeff B. My TV would not connect to the internet. For a week, I kept trying to no avail. Finally I called and was connected to Jeff B. I explained the situation. Apparently my TV got stuck in a loop! While he was guiding me through the "deloop" phase, we had so many laughs! He was so personable. I am a retired Professor of Mathematics. Our minds were on the same wave length. I think you should give him a triple raise!!! I am not kidding... He is a great person! Absolutely the best!!!!

This company is a complete ripoff. I called Uber Eats because they were screwing up an online order, so the Customer Service people transferred my call to Just Answer, who immediately charged me $65 (I did not consent to this), and an extra $5, and didn't help me at all. in fact, they gave me misinformation.

Samuel answered the questions I asked in a friendly and professional manner. Pointed me in the right direction. The following as nothing to do with Samuel, BUT, I did not like what "Just Answer" did. They enrolled me into a $40 charge to join them. Was my own fault...they did refund my money. I would like my $5.00 charge refunded also please.

Tyler was invaluable to me, who is technically challenged. I appreciated his patience, and the issue was easy to resolve. What I didn't like was that a fee was charged for the technical assistance, and that it was a membership fee. This should be made clear on the technical website's opening page. Giving 5 stars for Kevin. He was patient and researched my issue. In the end, there was no easy answer and I stumbled upon a workaround while talking it through. Looks like I might need HP printer firmware upgrade, BUT Kevin advised that doing that might actually end up causing more problems. I appreciated that input. (Issue was that I can no longer print pdfs to HP Officejet 8600 from mac or from phone. Used to be able to.) (Workaround!!! Open the pdf files in PREVIEW and there's no problem printing! Why?? No clue, but I don't care, as long as it works.

My Toshiba DVR started giving me error messages when I tried burning a recorded program from my Xfinity cable box to a Sony DVD-R disc, which I had been successful doing many times before. The technician that I was put in touch with asked a number of probing questions that led to two possible issues. Either the discs had deteriorated over time or the drive in the DVR needed to be replaced. Paul recommended trying a newly bought disc, before going through the expense of replacing the drive or the old DVR. Logical & clear cut recommendations that kept my "wallet" in mind.

Dr. ** was available to help in just a few minutes wait. She was excellent. My son's foley catheter was stuck in his urethra because the balloon would not deflate and she helped me to get it out. I cut off the balloon port and it drained in about 10-15 minutes, then it came out fine. Didn't need to go to the ER after all. Thank God! I'm very impressed with her and JustAnswer.

I had a question about getting Blue Link service for my husband's car and Kevin took great care of me. I wasn't expecting to be connected to Just Answer when I placed the call to the dealership's service center. It's wonderful to still be able to converse with an actual human instead of AI. And Kevin's practical experience made his advice invaluable to me. Kevin listened, asked appropriate questions, was professional and relatable, and provided me with great resources to address my concerns. I am glad I had this experience, but I don't want a subscription. That is my only downside to using Just Answer.

I was told the charge would be a $5.00 refundable charge. I was charged $53.00. I have reported them for fraudulent behavior and am trying to cancelled the charges. Very suspect in this day and age and I know better!

Beware you will be charged $65.00 membership fee for talking with “just answer”. l reached out to HP to update my payment and the person l chatted/spoke with was “Just answer”. Then they offered a $5.00 refunded charge. I gave my information to them thinking it was part of me updating my ink for my printer. I chatted with them after l saw the email and the $5.00 and $65.00 chargers in my account. They then informed me l had to pay for membership to speak with them. I was never asked before speaking with them this was a paid service. Remember, l was reaching out to HP.

I am filing a complaint regarding misleading billing practices and lack of transparency by JustAnswer.com. The website prominently advertised a $5 fee, which was presented as a simple one-time charge to access assistance. At no point was it clearly disclosed that this fee was being used to lure customers into an automatic membership enrollment.
Within the same hour, I realized what was happening and immediately canceled the membership yet I was still charged $70. The chat service itself was extremely unhelpful. I ***eatedly asked how much the doctor phone call would cost twice and never received an answer. Instead, the system pushed me forward without giving me the clear pricing I specifically requested. I also requested to speak with a live ***resentative, but it was very obvious the live *** was just the same automated chat system. I canceled the membership within the same hour of signing up and still ended up being charged $70. This is unacceptable, misleading, and feels intentionally deceptive. I am requesting a full refund of the $70.

Eric F. was the tech I spoke with. He was extremely helpful, understandable and solved my issue. He telephoned me instantly and took the time to talk me through the issue so that I could understand. I couldn't have asked for anything more. However, I was told that I would be charged $5 on my credit card. I was just notified by my card company that the cost was $65. I would prefer to be notified of the true cost. I DON'T BLAME THE TECH, BUT THIS IS NOT A GOOD PRACTICE.
