    They have unethical practices. I think the reason the company gets such high ratings is because they ask you to review the person that helped you within the website. They must use that to exaggerate the stars on individual review sites. They will tell you that it’s only $5 to chat with a specialist, but then they will automatically charge you $65/month. They claim that they make you aware of the charge, but they are not clear enough because nothing outwardly states this. So it’s basically hidden somewhere that most people won’t read.

    My wife signed up with the understanding that it was a one time charge for one question so she didn't save the login info. When additional charges showed up on our credit card I talked to a representative and they said my account was canceled. We had some fraud charges on our card so we got new cards and now the charges are showing up on our new card numbers. I went online to cancel it and they said I had to pay another $5.00 to get an answer on how to log into the account to cancel it. This company is very crooked.

    I used the service from JustAnswer and a chatbot appeared. The chatbot stated I can get answers to my issues for $5 (fully refundable) and a technician will call me. I paid for the service, but was charged $70. The technician (Emmanuel) did call me and I went through the steps with him to resolve my issue (my recycled phone number linked to a previous owner) with my Facebook account. One of the steps was to send an SMS code to my phone number but it never happened after several tries, and waiting for several minutes each time.

    Emmanuel says it sometimes takes a while before getting an SMS code, so he advised I continue the process and follow the steps he provided to resolve the issue before we ended the call. I'm still trying but no success. I did request a refund for the $70 that was not explained by the chatbot. I gave my experience three stars for it was seemingly a legit service, not explaining the full cost of the service, and no success in resolving my issues... Yet, but we'll see as I keep trying. I will still recommend Just Answer to friends and family, although I would strongly advise to ask what the cost is before accepting their services.

They do not disclose to you when you need to talk to a vet that they charge you $70 for a membership and refused to give that $70 back but they will cancel your membership and on top of it charge you another five dollars to get a hold of a vet the gentleman I talk to on the phone yesterday trying to retrieve my $70 hung up on me and refused to give me my $70 back.     I apparently went to the website to ask a question last month. I don't remember going there, because I always go to Google for my searches -- but obviously I did. There is a chat box to use for Customer Care or Cancelling an account, so I tried to log in and I apparently don't have a password, because if I do, it would always be saved in my Google Password Manager.     I contacted your site. Paid a 5 euro "fully refundable" fee. Then noticed that I had been signed up for a membership which I hadn't asked for.     I had a very simple question about charitable contributions being deducted on my tax return. Took about 1-2 minutes for the CPA to respond. Before getting on I was informed there was a $5.00 charge. So I gave my credit card info thinking I would be charged $5.00. When I checked my credit card I had two charges, one for $5.00 and one for $55.00. It's a membership fee. Never saw anything about a membership. I am disputing the charge on my credit card which means I will have to get a new credit card number and notify all my automatic monthly charges. Lots of time consumed doing this work.     They not only had my card pending on the $5.00 charge. But, also a $65.00 membership charge which was NEVER DISCLOSED TO ME. So they were trying to hit my account for these amounts and who knows what else could have been added. I call the customer support number and need with a rude lady in another country. I informed her of the info. And she began to be very nasty and rude. I explained I did what I was instructed to do. But had no contact by phone. And instead only got a website chat with Andre R. Another rude person. And this person was supposed to help me.... Right. Be careful folks. I would be very wary of this site. You be better off going to another site. Just an FYI.

    This company is deceptive. By asking a question on the chat they start a monthly subscription without your approval. After you ask the question they notify they want $1 0r $5. I gave them my information for that amount. When they connect you to the expert you are given the option to agree or not to next price. I declined because I did not want any monthly subscription. They took the money anyway and did not return the original $5 I agreed to. When I asked for a refund from them they tell me by asking the question automatically starts a monthly membership and they took the other funds because I asked the question.

    I just want to say at this point I did not know that a monthly subscription had started or the $45 had been charged. It's not on the welcome page like they claim. But after declining the service and leaving the site. I circled back and went the process of cancelling any subscription they may have started. Which they had. I learned they had charged the $45 when I checked my credit card account. I tried to get a refund to no avail. I then learn a lawsuit has been filed by FTC against JustAnswer for this deceptive practice. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

    My experience was poor with JustAnswer attorney user ID **. I denied entry to the police at my door and they came without my consent and/or reasonable cause. No warrant. I requested to speak to a duty officer and when a duty supervisor did arrive I said clearly that they could not reenter my home that we could speak outside of my home. They then forced their way into my home. This is clearly a 4th Amendment violation and this lawyer wants to say it was implied consent because I asked for a duty officer to come the scene.

It was very difficult because every time I tried to get through they kept kicking me out and I was kept being charged for both calls anyways after a long period.     I talked to a Pearl a while ago and she connected me to a financial expert to help me with downloading pdf or txt files into Turbotax. Before connecting me to the financial professional she indicated at the bottom of the CHAT screen that the $5 I paid was completely refundable. The finance expert was unable to solve my problem. So how do i get my refund. Contacted your website to get my money back because they could not help me and was told, basically, that it is a paid service, so I cannot get a refund. I could not find a receipt so I cannot upload it.

    Doctor gave solid advice. Not really much to do but watch the situation and go to an ER vet if worse. Labradoodle with seasonal allergies has excessive panting and itching. Look for pale gums, lethargy, drooling to decide if ER is necessary. Otherwise see vet in morning.

    First, I was not told that I would be charged for a $65 subscription in addition to the $5 for the call. The Chatbot only told me about the $5 call. VERY deceiving!!! Second, the technician was only able to look at a photo of the part I had a question about. He had no specific experience or reference with my problem. He did not give me any confidence that I was doing the right thing.
