My computer was locked up and Microsoft wasn't responding to my call. I tried JustAnswer and received the help I needed from a YouTube video in 5 minutes. I implemented the fix and the computer started right up - all while still waiting for Microsoft to answer my call! Well done, Rafi!

The Vet I spoke with was able to address my concerns regarding my 1 yr old dog chewing on one of my asthma vials for my nebulizer. Because it contains high doses of steroids I was very worried that it could really hurt him. The Vet assured me that my dog would be okay and what signs to look for if it did start affecting. All communication was through text message and if you have any additional questions, you just text the same number back with your question. Easy process and very quick.

Mark was very responsive and knowledgeable. Our model requires you to run the sink water hot and the machine will clean the dishes better. Seemed to work because the machine heats up to dry. We also checked to make sure all the wires were tight together. Ran twice and dishes much cleaner.

Fast and accurate. Expert had up to date repair and parts manuals on hand. He concurred in the actions I had already taken. He recommended a "reset" action that I had not tried. When that action did not work he recommended installation of a repair part. He had the part number on hand and a recommended source. I checked two other sites for the part and found that the expert had recommended the lowest cost source. By my definition this is perfect service. Thank you very much.

Depending on your needs, this seems like a good place to start when you’re stumped by a problem and aren’t getting answers elsewhere. My normal source for Kindle help was clogged due to the virus situation. Here I was explained how to get through a different way.

Out of nowhere, my HP 7612 printer stopped printing, giving me a weird message: "The printhead appears to be missing, not detecting incorrectly installed, or incompatible". Your technicians tried many avenues to try and correct it, but final conclusion is that something malfunctioned within the printer itself. So final recommendation was to find a Hewlett-Packard printer repair place and send it to them.

The tech did an excellent job helping me create a path file in Outlook. Very happy with the service. He was patient with me when I didn’t know the exactly what I was doing. He discovered that the previous pst file was not accurate and had lots error messages. I learned something new.

The only technical support able to fix a knotty Microsoft/NAS connection problem that had beaten Apple, Synology and Microsoft. Was something buried deep in the system which needed a very experienced eye to sort. Fast and very successful fix just on chat - highly recommended! Great communication!

Family law. Thank you for helping me figure out my next steps! What was right or wrong, describing how to go about things better and how to approach them. Thank you again. This helps especially with this virus going around not wanting to go to lawyers' offices if they were even open. Instead I can just send a message and I will get a reply very quickly once I am matched with the lawyer that best suits me. Even our request call could have been made when he think about it. Depending on your situation money should not matter. You should be more focussed on what you need resolved.

Stove/Oven Repair. I am very frugal. With an appliance that is over 10 years old, I was trying to weigh repair versus replace. I had sticker shock looking at new stoves. My JustAnswer tech, Darrel, was on target with his diagnosis, and provided part numbers for replacing a thermostat and igniter. Parts cost less than $100.00 This was a no brainer.

My cat was drooling excessively and Dr. ** was able to give me some answers as to why. I had to wait until my vet was open to get Mister checked out and the drooling stopped before I was able to take to the vet. Dr. ** said that this could happen. I have a Howard Miller grandfather clock that my son has had in his home for 15 years. He wound the two outside weights as high as they would go and set the clock to silent. I finally got my clock back and discovered that I could not get the outside weights to drop. The clock would not chime nor strike. I was contacted within minutes by "Mike" at Just Answer. He offered me two different solutions and when they didn't seem to work, offered a third to try. He stayed in contact with me until I was able to get the clock to work, It is now striking, chiming and keeping perfect time. I highly recommend Just Answer!!!!

Cat had blood in urine. The doctor answered promptly and told me I needed to take the cat to the vet. I thought it might be kidney failure as my cat is 15 1/2 years old, but she said it might not be that bad since she still had her appetite. I took her to the vet and it did turn out to be a bladder infection. She's on antibiotics and much better now! Thank you!

I had an electrical issue that I have never had happen before. I sent a drawing of how all of my electrical outlets were laid out and sent a photo of the wiring. KitchAid dishwasher - start/resume won't work. After a few days delay, the tech helped me completely. He directed me to order the part, and assured me I could fix it myself - that is a complete change from just calling and hiring a tech. I am able to call back when I am installing the control panel, if I need assistance. TBD

Taking leave during COVID-19. Experts are very knowledgeable and up to date on the most recently enacted laws. The advice that I received was very helpful. A bit pricey for phone calls and after the trial period though. I would recommend better pricing to allow low income individuals access to these experts too. Especially during these times of economic uncertainty. Otherwise, a great service.

I texted with one representative and he helped me get into my email. I was still denied access to attachment. I had to pay 39.00 to get help. Then I contacted customer service where I was told that they could not do anything so I had to go back to the tech. I kept getting answers that I could not do. I contacted customer service again and asked if I could talk with somebody instead of texting. She said she would contact somebody to call me and that I would not have to pay. That was 10:00 last night.
As soon as I got off somebody texted me. He told me to take a picture of the error message I had been receiving and send it to him. I took a screenshot and tried to send it but I don't know if he got it. Then he told me he could access my computer to do what needed to be done. I told him I did not have a computer, that I did everything on my phone. He said he could not do anything about it. I told him I wanted to actually talk with a person. He told me that he could not do that, but if f I would pay 39.00 he could connect me with somebody could talk talk with me. By then it was after 11:00. I told him that I had already paid 39.00. I also told him that I was finished dealing with them and I would never recommend your services to anybody. I wasted my money and my time. I never did get the call that the lady in customer service promised me.

In order to adequately troubleshoot a problem, the technicians do need a certain amount of information about the issue and the device, or the software being used. At this time, it does not appear they have been able to collect that information from you. Unfortunately, we also do not have the ability to remotely connect to a phone, so we've gone ahead and issued a refund for the remote connection charges that you incurred.

I had some legal questions in regards to my son having signed a lease for an apartment in a new city that his employer was transferring him to. Due to Covid 19 pandemic there are no flights going to Juneau AK. The property owner was refusing to let my son out of the lease. I found JustAnswer online and asked a lawyer what my son's options were. I was contacted the very next day by a lawyer who explained the law and provided us with some options. I am happy to say with the information I received from the lawyer my son was able to get out of the lease. The lawyer was very knowledgeable, quick to respond and very helpful. I purchased a product online and I asked the company when will I receive my product, I was not informed of any information. I then looked up the company name and the store was no longer available. This got me alarmed and I wanted to know what was wrong. I needed to find some answers and I decided to ask Justanswer. I told them about my situation. I even took screenshots of the order confirmation and my email to the company I purchased from and sent it to my lawyer from justanswer. I was directed to check the ASIC page and to my unfortunate discovery they are not found and that Australian tribunals can not help me with my case as it is not an Australian product and no store in Australia. I am glad I found out, I was given some online shopping tips for next time. Thank you.

It was 4;30 am. Our dog just ate several days worth of my prescription blood pressure meds and vitamins. I Googled poison control for animals and found "Just Answer". I had nothing to lose because our vet would not be in for 4 hours. Within 5 minutes I was in touch with a vet and within 5 more minutes I had an answer that the dog would be ok based on the dosage. What a relief. 2 days later...our 100 pound Shepard is just fine.

Suddenly I could no longer sign into my Outlook email. I tried 8 times, changing my password and going through the verification process. My poor dog woke up yelping and crying with nasty crud in one ear. I just adopted him, so did not have a vet yet. There are NO vet's open for walk-in during this shutdown. Searching the internet turned up your online vet service. Doctor Paul ** returned my call promptly and gave me the information I needed. I picked up the OTC medicine he recommended and "Mr. Burns" is already feeling much better in a single day. The vet promised to call again in three days to see how he is doing. I call that prompt, caring and much-needed service! Mr. Burns says, "Thank you, I was really hurting!"

I had a major problem in our streaming system on our computer at our Church. Praveen ** did all He could to help in fixing the problem, it took him many hours but in the end He could not quite fix it all the way since it was in the broadcast program itself. But he did an excellent job of bringing other systems into correct order so the problem could be found and correct by the programmer.

Given the coronavirus pandemic and the need to shelter in place, my girlfriend and I needed to resurrect a 30 year old treadmill. The tech told me the owner's manual was not available online and the problem I was experiencing sounded like I needed a key or a magnet to start the machine. In this time of global chaos our ice maker stopped and we couldn’t have a repairman come to our house. I turned to JustAnswer. I connected with Just Answer through Microsoft. I needed help in cleaning up my old computer. Just Answer took control of my computer for about an hour and then end result was I paid them $150.00 for NOTHING! I had to replace my computer! Now I see that I am being charged $40.00 a month! In my opinion, I wouldn't allow them to take out my trash, much less take control of my computer!! A complete RIP OFF!!!

Great advice and fast response. My dog was eating grass and had decreased appetite. The problem was getting worse, but I felt I might be overreacting. I signed up for a trial service after reading some of the responses and comments about immediate reply or within 2 days. The trial was for 7 days. I asked a question with as much detail as I could. When I checked the question status - all it showed was a spinning icon saying "matching". I tried chatting but all I got was a robot "Pearl" which was useless. Then some moderator messages which gave no useful info and just thanked me for my patience, which ran out after 6 days of no response to my question. I tried chatting again only to get some other string of "robots " claiming to contact their supervisor and then a blunt sorry to see you go message. The website and chatting are not user friendly and just waste your time. They charge $5 for the 7 day trial then ignore you!- They should refund the $5 if they are not even going to try to answer. Caveat Emptor was never so true.

I signed up to have 1 question for 5 dollars answered, about a sick pet. After waiting over an hour for no answer I finally went to bed having made an appointment with an in person vet. When I woke up I had received the answer but was going to the vet anyway. A week later my bank was charged 30.00$ for an alleged membership. I contacted the company the same day before the payment had processed to request cancellation and refund. THEY REFUSED, citing that their membership requirements were clearly specified. So, not only was my question not answered in a timely manner, they insisted that I pay for a service I don't want, never wanted and won't use again. This is fraud. Buyer BEWARE!

But my assigned agent was patient and communicated well with me and closed my account finally with no charge. I decided to close my membership. Since I was slow getting together photos, info, etc. (I’m old and tech challenged!), I did end up paying for a month’s membership at regular rate, but that’s fair, and unsubscribing was easy, with the rep explaining to me that I still had time left during which my membership was in effect (for the remainder of the month). I had the option to talk with the doctor and he called immediately. He gave me very good information and I was able to make the decision that my dog did not need emergency care. I had my first experience at being hacked yesterday. Around midday my cell beginning ringing constantly in response to a bogus email that went out to many in my email address book. The issue was a Comcast account. I tried my local Comcast office and they were not helpful. I went to Xfinity.com and while they tried very hard, I went through three or four technicians before I ended up with Just Answer. I finally met online Mian-Wisal ** who patiently walked me through what the issue likely was and how it could be fixed. When the offer to take over my laptop and repair the situation for $39, I jumped at the opportunity. He then patiently instructed me on what I needed to do so that he could correct what the hackers had inserted. I was back up to normal by sunset. It was a long day. I have attempted various times over the last months to cancel my subscription/membership with this company. The only way I am able to communicate is via a chat conversation, which is extremely frustrating because it does not converse with me concerning my request to cancel my membership, it just sends me to my Account page to do this. It now says that I am cancelled, but the company is still taking $71 from my account each month with no explanation. I require further information as to how I can rectify this. A good value for the $5 charge. My washer went dead. I called and was quickly connected to an experienced technician, who advised that the electronics probably needed to be re-booted by unplugging, waiting 10 minutes, and re-plugging. It worked. I signed up to use JustAnswer for a question about my LG tv. The person I spoke with was great and very knowledgeable, I never agreed to a monthly subscription. I was alerted by AmEx that I had a charge of $46 about one week later. I called them right away and told them that I had never signed up for the monthly subscription, so to please refund my $46 and cancel the subscription. I was reassured this was taken care of. I received my AmEx statement today and the charge is still there and no refund. I called customer service again and yes, they see that I called March 4, but "unfortunately my charge could not be refunded"! So I went to AmEx and disputed the charge. Thankfully they took care of it. I think their site and service has merit, but please don't scam the customer by automatically signing them up to a recurring monthly charge.

I recently got fired in a very unprofessional way, and even though I didn't get the answer I wanted. She made me realize I'm better off. She was honest, empathic, and very factual. Her response was very quick and timely, and she answered more questions regarding the issue until all my questions were answered.

Just Answer saves me a lot of time. If you own 1,2 or 3 cars the advices of the expert mechanic will keep you progressing. They will tell you how many catalytic converters your car has or how many oxygen sensors.

Attorney Dan D. Very quickly answered a question that I could not answer for myself after attempting to do so via the websites of several investment firms and the IRS. IRS publications language confusing. Dan got to the answer in less than 10 minutes. Thanks Dan.

Managing Google Chrome. That my $39 is to solve only one problem was not made clear when I subscribed. My expert did tell me that I could reconnect with him about the same problem without paying $39 again. We'll see. I haven't tried to recontact yet. I waited 8 minutes for Rafi to give me a chat connection. Lacking that, I closed the window. 8 minutes is too long for a paid connection. I tried to connect again. An email arrived and I quickly connected with Jason. He told me I could reconnect with him by clicking on the spot in that email. What would I do had I not saved it?

We talked about how to fix the crack. There were different ways of doing it,& it would be a great big Tough job in doing it. And I am a tradesman myself, and believe that I could do the repair work. We also talked about not taking this unit up north until the repair work is done. I am most glad that I got hold of you people for your support and wisdom. As it is nice we tradesmen can share our wisdom with each other!

Great first experience! A home mechanic individual fee should be developed - the monthly subscription is too pricey for an occasional user at home. Love the service! The mechanic assistant immediate help and relay to an online mechanic works very well.

Reset trac-off, vsc, and engine lights. I was having a hard time resetting the problem with the lights in question. I took the service guide out for some help, and tried everything they recommended with no success. I went to the Toyota website for help to resolve my problem and they helped me right away. I saw Just ask on love when trying to find out how I could get an estimate on vintage steamer trunks. Diana F in antiques gave me an appraisal by simply emailing her all the pictures. I signed up for the 7 day free trial and cancelled it within that time since I didn’t really have any others reason to keep the subscription. I had no problem cancelling. Everyone was extremely professional and I will come back to this site if the need ever arises. I will also share my experience with friends and family.

I had a tax question that TurboTax doesn't cover, and I couldn't find answer elsewhere. The answer came back in less than half an hour and was clear and easy to understand. To my delight, the person answering the question also understood the implications of his answer, so he offered a suggestion for how to rectify the situation as well. I also liked that he followed up and made sure I was happy with the answer. Definitely worth it.

I used TurboTax Deluxe for my 2019 returns which pulled in my 2018 returns data. A Claim of Right credit value was entered but without a support code. I worked with TurboTax support to resolve the problem, but to no avail. When I went to the IRS website, I saw a reference to Just Answer. The Just Answer CPA worked with me to identify and correct this error. For a small reasonable expense and telephone time, my problem was resolved, my taxes e-filed and accepted. Since verbal descriptions are inadequate to explain details of exact configuration, your Mechanic provided diagrams that were accurate enough to solve my problem. The problem was how to re-attach a fallen away connecting rod between the key cylinder & the door latch.

Joined Just Answer as I could not find an answer to how to wire up a new wall oven for 208V. The wiring for the original oven seemed very odd. When I called local electricians they wanted me to talk to their estimates department when all I needed was confirmation of two quick questions. Think $$$$. The response I received from Kevin the electrician at Just Answer, was quick, clear, and to the point. He asked all the right questions to clarify my situation and answered my question so I could proceed. This saved me worry and a lot of money.

Water heater pilot light would not stay lit. Representative very knowledgeable and responsive. Addressed problem quickly. Would recommend in the future. Did not care for charge of $24 to speak to someone on the phone and did not take advantage of this option, although it was clearly communicated.

My Whirlpool washing machine was locked up and wouldn't do anything. I tried for almost 2 hours from about 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. and went to the Whirlpool website and others asking about a locked machine with no good answers that worked. I called JustAnswer and they told me the right button to press and how long (Extra Rinse 5 seconds) -- bingo! It unlocked as JustAnswer waited to see that it would. I was able to wash my wife's load of washing.

My lawyer (Debra) was very helpful and was able to answer my question a lot quicker than I was expecting, lol. It was about Power of Attorney for property and personal care and whether or not they need to be Notarized. They do not, so long as there are 2 witnesses, however, please have yours Notarized when you have it made up. Believe me, you do not want to leave your chosen Attorney running into road blocks when they have to deal with people that don't believe it is legal. I would have no qualms in recommending Just Answer to anyone. Any amount of questions for $5.00, not a bad deal.

I have had a problem with getting my printer/copier set-up- I did not get help from manufacturer. As I tried to get to manufacturer I got a small window from "Just-Answer" asking me what the problem I needed solved was. I explained and in a few minutes I got someone who was well versed in the subject and he got my printer working the way I hoped, i.e. being able to make copies of documents and the likes and also copy documents that I have on my system. The technician was very polite and patient with me. Now all seems to work well!

I was having an issue with connecting Outlook to Google, something that appears to be a common problem. It took a while, but the problem was solved and hopefully it will not come back. The technician was helpful. I find $46 a month rather steep for occasional help, but for a one time deal it was worth it to me as I had been struggling with this for some time..

I don't think there is anywhere in the world, that you can get this kind of help for such a low price! Great work, professionalism, and a "get it solved" attitude! I have never used this site, but just wanted to give the responding Fish Vet the highest recommendation I can. Anna responded back to me in a timely manner, but mostly, she went above and beyond the call of duty. It was over the weekend, when I couldn't reach ANYBODY, and my favorite large Koi, Angel, was very sick. I didn't know what to do, so I went on-line and put in a request for help with JustAnswer.com. Anna took MANY hours out of her weekend (that's right...both Saturday AND Sunday) writing back and forth to me, answering my questions, and giving me recommendations and ideas. SHE WAS SOOOO HELPFUL! And being a biologist who took care of fish for 40 years, she was an expert I could rely on.
Angel isn't out of the woods yet, but has turned a corner, and we are now praying he heals totally. I feel I not only got important information from Anna, but perhaps made a cyber-friend, who asked that I keep her in the loop with Angel's progress. I can't thank her enough. She did an amazing job! I was expecting mediocre app service like any other app. Staff it will student Doctors or financial people that didn’t make it big, or even moderately successful. I signed up anyways because I had A medical Question that I wanted Answered and didn’t want to wait the next week for my GI appt. Searched Google for Online doctors and this is one of many that popped up. Free Trial or for a dollar first week. It was something like that. I signed up, figured I would just cancel after I get my question Resolved.
I asked my question, in Great Detail, and within A couple minutes a doctor took my Question. The doc followed up with new Questions in Order to clarify his understanding of my issue. It was a great Back and forth. Finally, I was satisfied with everything as the doctor also answered any Question I raised throughout the conversation.
The Doctor is not a lowly physician assistant or anything. Some of these doctors are overqualified but take the time to answer our questions. It’s like having a doctor in your pocket. There are other categories of experts. Financial, oncology, Homeopathy, legal, mechanical, Boats, I mean. It’s insane the amount of categories they have and the service is unlimited and great price! I continue to use the Service today and actually persuaded two others to give it a shot. Since then. I was sold on the service. If you don’t have it, I suggest get it. If not, at least try the 7 day trial, it’s cheap. A+++ on the app and service.

Tamar, the HVAC tech did a great job of walking me through which of the 10 wires from the old unit would go into the 7 terminals on the new unit. The instructions that came with the new unit were lacking in a thorough explanation. Well done.
