Estate law. The lawyer provided quick easy to understand answers to questions about beneficiary forms. Would recommend using this forum in addition to face to face visits with lawyers. Lawyer provided written responses which is also helpful when dealing with legal terminology.

My daughter returned from a Dealer recall service with a list of $4500 in suggested? repairs. An avid DIY and former auto enthusiast I was fairly sure most were unnecessary but wanted to be sure. I checked in with the expert and knew within 20 minutes what they were and which ones were needed (or worth investigating) and which ones we could postpone or simply ignore. It's nice to have independent advice in such situations.

I was skeptical at first, about speaking with a doctor online. I'm not now. It was so much easier than having to go to a clinic or hospital, I appreciated not having a long wait to talk to someone. So I just wanted to say thanks.

The veterinarian advice I received was very helpful, and reassuring. It enabled me to continue on with the care of the injured cat I rescued in confidence. She is now well on her way to recovery; and a new, permanent home.

I appreciated being able to get in contact with a vet after hours to determine if a medication I had prescribed for another ailment previously was safe for to use to help my dog who was experiencing pain. The vet was quick to respond and very thorough in his explanations.

Glad to know this exists. I think it's good for medical questions, but my question was regarding a recommendation for a provider. My question was never answered although I received a timely response. It's as though the physician didn't take the time to thoroughly read my initial question. Still, I would recommend the app and process.

I don't know what I was expecting, but not an immediate reply, or knowledge that blew me away. This guy really knew his stuff, shared everything he knew, from years and years of experience, and didn't treat me like I was dumb for not knowing (because I know nothing for sure). I signed up for Just Answer b/c I was having difficulty troubleshooting my freezer’s ice dispensing motor which wasn’t getting power. Just Answer promptly put me in touch with a technician who knew the issue at hand and pinpointed the failure which I was able to repair on my own. Just Answer saved me the cost of an in-house service call. I would recommend this service for any do-it-yourselfers who are stuck on solving a technical issue.

I hope to auction, and sell a few pieces of art. I contacted a couple of galleries and unfortunately they wanted what seemed a large sum of money to confirm research I completed. Then I stumbled across JustAnswer. Your customer service representative asked a few pertinent questions and referred me to Wayne. Special care for a heart failure patient. As a medical vulnerability has we at risk, I wanted to insure I was doing everything I can to keep safe. After going over med history, he assured me I am going beyond. Faster than my Dr could respond. Since I had a flu shot, he instill confidence that exercise was recommended, and encouraged. First time using this help and it worked like a charm! I wanted to remove the vcr/center console from my 2011 Nissan Quest. We discovered it wasn't a factory install but done by the dealer afterward. Jay was still resourceful and knowledgeable enough to get me through the removal myself in less than an hour. The communication was great by either my computer or phone (text). I never knew this service existed out there but will remember it in the future!

The doctor was really helpful and gave me advice on my guinea pig's eye problem. After seeing a picture, she was able to tell me that the eye wasn't as bad as I thought and recommended I get some saline solution to clean it. My girl is now completely fine and much happier. Thank you! :)

I got great help from Sandy who remoted in and sorted out my problem and in addition also set up my Gmail within outlook. Time to respond was about 1 hour. This is a perhaps more costly than using your ISP but the quality of the service is better.

My Chrome has crashed and would not open. The technician was very attentive and spent time exchanging emails with me and then he resolved it by taking remote control of my laptop. He spent ample time and fixed the problem.

Medicine. Service was very good. MD was knowledgeable. Yeah, I'd recommend it as a good service. Saves you the trouble of rushing to a physical clinic or hospital or even a MD's office unless it's an emergency. Filed a question regarding the health of a pet for a Veterinarian and received no response. We ended up having to go to a real Veterinarian at significant expense. After 1 week and still no response, I have cancelled the trial membership. Their claim of a response in minutes appears to be baked.

Being new to Idaho and with a new puppy for 2 days on a Sunday afternoon Kacee had not eaten, drank very little water and could do nothing but lay around. The Vet assigned to me was quick to respond and followed her guidance and shortly her issue was due from low blood sugar and before long and a little syrup she was back to her playful self. My experience was awesome and hope you never use them again but if so they are right at my fingertips.

Fixing hijacked email account. The technician was immediate, focused and fixed an account which had been dishonestly mangled by a scammer. It had taken me hours on the phone without result. What to do with humming noise on my Hampton Bay ceiling fan. It was worth it to get a realistic answer, simple diagnosis to do on the fan and recommendation. No sugar coated answer or a long list of worthless options. Plus how quick I got the answer. I will use it again when the situation permits.

I had to take my dog to an expensive specialist for a possible surgical procedure. I couldn’t understand the surgeon and was left trying to make an uninformed decision. The water was running very slow out of the water dispenser, took minutes to fill an 8 ounce glass. The ice cubes were very tiny, it would have never filled the bin. You recommended a new intake valve along with how to replace it which I did. I probably save $100.00 by not having to call a service person to do it. Everything is now working just fine. Thank you.

I was having problems opening my email on my laptop. JJesus ** fixed this problem in minutes and also checked that my McAfee and Malware were properly connect. I have dealt with other problem solvers and have had varied results. I know that trying to solve problems via a computer hook up is normally not easy but not this time. After a night of thunderstorms when I pulled the plugs on my equipment in fear of a lightning strike, I replugged everything and tried to print a copy. Not happening. In desperation after trying to get the computer and printer synced, I looked for help on Google. Just Answer sounded good and I tried them. After attempts in an online chat and another on the phone, we decided to do a screen share. The "magician" Lakshuma clicked here and there and never gave up. At last, there was the familiar sound of "communication" between the computer and printer and Presto! Out came the copy. Excellent workmanship and creative thinking from Lakshuma solved the problem and I'm back in business. Highly recommend Just Answer!

I had a skin issue for the longest time and I had absolutely no time to get to a dermatologist due to work and my schedule. I asked "JustAnswer" to look into why my Direct deposit SSI payments were at the time 4 days late and the next morning I got my Answer. They assured me that I was not the only one not receiving the same. As of today I still haven't received a deposit but I'm aware that the IRS is behind at this time due to the Pandemic.

I was skeptical of trying this out but I’m so glad I did. My dermatologist has not been getting back to me and I felt like I was dealing with this on my own. I completed a high dose course of ** a month ago and broke out in red bumps all over my face. Dr. ** is who helped me. I was told it was not even acne (what I was starting to think) and he recommenced products and an antibiotic. After just one day of using it they’re all practically gone. I’m so happy I reached out because I would not have even went down this route and would be still stressing out. I’m so happy!

I recently moved and don’t have a vet for my cat yet. I was concerned about a health issue and wasn’t sure if I should rush her to the emergency. The doc gave me the possible problems, some care ideas, and gave me a list of things to watch out for that would render a trip to the ER. I allowed A man to put a code that was all numbers and asterisk before and after so they could alert me to unusual activity on my account or credit card after I couldn’t receive incoming calls then I called my bank and it wasn’t then and I was scammed. Ameen was very empathetic and. He gave me advice. I was glad he was able to help me.

The point of this site is to provide answers to legal questions, and I had one. I signed up on Wednesday and asked my question. For two days, whenever I checked the website, it said they were working on matching my question with a lawyer. Contacted customer service on Friday to say that I hadn't gotten a response. (Note: they claim to offer three ways of contacting customer service, but the online chat is always busy, and I got no response to my email, so I had to phone them.) They said they'd prioritize my question. Got contacted the following Tuesday and asked if I still wanted an answer to my question. I said yes. Nothing happened. Had to cancel my membership Tuesday evening to avoid being charge the monthly rate of $60 starting the next day. From what I can tell, I paid my introductory $5 and got nothing in return.

I didn’t realize that I had applied for Just Answer. I had a question about my iMac and somehow ended up on the website. I received numerous answers from different computer assistants, and all of them answered my question. I did NOT authorize Just Answer to donate money from my credit card to various agencies and individuals. For this reason, I cancelled my subscription.

RV Electrical Generator. I am very happy with the information and assistance I received from the RV expert. He was clearly very knowledgeable and he explained things in an understandable way. Made a request on a Saturday evening, it was never answered. I was charged the $5 baseline fee for asking a question. Monday morning the question was still pending, but of course the need had passed as the account was created when I was trying to mitigate an urgent situation. Monday morning I logged on to talk to a support agent. I was told no one answered because it depends on how many professionals are online, which is reasonable. The chat agent said they couldn't issue a refund because the person that handles that was busy. I was promised either a call or text when said person could handle my request. I never received communication from the company. Tuesday morning, the question is still pending. I canceled my account, no refund. Nothing. It's not the $5, it's the principle. I literally got nothing out of their service, was lied to and even in canceling the account, the request from several days ago was still spinning its wheels.

I've used the service twice and both times I had an answer to my questions within 20 min. The first time was Sunday. I was stranded on the road 100 miles from home and the expert talked me through emergency repairs enough to get me home. The next time was yesterday. I was able to talk to a dr within 20 min and the advice was awesome!

Aric, my second opinion was very helpful ---- I'm not naive about things technical, but willing to accept advice from those who appear qualified. At the close of our session, I was asked if I would like to tip and I offered to contribute 10$ but was rebuffed, saying "your bank will not accept this charge".??? Riding mower has an intermittent problem with running away when going downhill. The problem was diagnosed as most probably transmission belts and the part numbers were provided so now I can proceed with repairs. This was on a Sunday night late, so I was surprised to have someone respond.

They answered my question on the difference in my SS Check for the month of May. After submitting my question they got back to me very quickly with the answer. Seems the stimulus check put me in a different pay bracket for the month so they deducted it from my SS check. Which I really thought everyone got the 1200.00 no matter the pay bracket, but at least I got an answer.

Dog ate tomato fertilizer. Took only moments for a vet to phone me. Asked questions, very supportive plus informative. Recommended I keep an eye on my fur baby, not feed her, let her regulate water intake. Said her eating this particular product very common with many dogs. He assured me she’d be fine. Instructed me on using an antacid if she continued to vomit otherwise she would probably be fine by end of the day. I was very relieved after the conversation with this vet. I called their support team and they said I haven't been matched with anyone so they high-prioritized my question so I could get matched more quickly with an expert. After the 5th day, still no response from anyone. Even got a follow up email asking if I still needed assistance which I replied that I did and they had matched me to another professional. I called to ask a question and they sent a $1.00 charge for 1 week. The information went to my junk mail back on 8/27/2019. They have been billing me $40.00 a month since 8/19 until 4/30/2020. They can see that I have not used their service yet they can't refund any portion of the $540.00 that I have been charged. This company is a ripoff it should not be allowed to continue and they should send messages or call customer notifying them of their gimmick charges because they can't earn money without their deceptive practices.

I signed up for $5/week service and when I wanted to cancel the service, they indicated my email "was not found" in their database but yet they keep charging my card and will not address the issue! They charged $40 last week and they will keep doing that monthly! I have emailed them several times, they emailed back once but did not resolve anything. I had a query regarding Dragon speech recognition software failing to transcribe into a Word document on a remote computer. The "expert" took over my laptop, spent about an hour without any success and then messaged me that he had no experience with Dragon. I would never use them again. Got absolutely nothing in trial membership. They said they would rather talk on the phone for another $35. The first appraiser opted out almost immediately and another one never came on. Initially they supposedly had multiple appraisers available. Cancelled my membership in less than 30 minutes. One other thing. The lowest rating you can give an appraiser is 3 stars. I couldn’t give a review on the site at all. BEWARE!

The service itself is fine, but when you start a free trial you're automatically signed up for a monthly subscription you can't get out of! They will not refund this expense, and it's very high. I wouldn't recommend it at all unless you really plan on using it everyday, otherwise you won't get your money's worth.

My dog was extremely sick and became paralyzed in his hind legs and I paid my money to speak to a veterinarian to give me advice and I waited for HOURS to hear back and I never heard back at all!! I signed up for the membership trial to see how it worked. I had a specific question about gastrointestinal problems I was experiencing. I saw great reviews so I thought let’s see, maybe this could be helpful in between doctor appointments as Covid-19 has been making my regular visiting a bit difficult. Well I was matched with a “specialist” who basically didn’t offer me any Insight, but said to go see a doctor. Well that wouldn’t have been so bad if I wasn’t charged $46.00 for it.
I cancelled my membership and I even have an email to prove it. I called in and the rep just argued with me about cancellation. I even offered to send it to their team so that they could see but all the rep would do is cancel my membership for future charges. I called back in, and the second rep did the exact same thing. To make matters worst, if they pulled money from the only card I happened to have on me while working as an essential worker out of state and it overdrew that account and left me stranded with no way to fuel up my vehicle. I would not suggest doing business with this company.

Never thought anything more about it until I was going thru my credit card charges closer this month and found I have been charged $34 a month since then for asking that one question. I realize that I should have been looking at my charges closer but these companies are traps to catch innocent people like me. So for asking one question I have been charged over $500!!!! I called and they are crediting me back 3 months - appreciate it but still SUCKS!!! Hope these companies sleep well at night by taking advantage of seniors.

Yes I signed up for your sneaky 7 day program, but I didn't cancel in time and when I asked for them to please delete my account and waive the $46 outrageous fee they said, "there's nothing we can do." Seriously? When 95% of the world is unemployed because of COVID and other companies are waiving late fees and working with their customers needs, this one can't be bothered to do **. The PPP is a little like Monopoly....one simply hopes that they are working with the right bank, and then, that the dice fall in your favor. My question was just to confirm that everything that I did was correct and that we were approved after signing the DocuSign, and that the funding would follow. The attorney that I talked to settled my fears and answered my questions base on the series of events. Odd code showing on the fridge control panel. Nothing in the owners, so I called GE customer service line. She referred me to Just Answer. I accidentally deleted password and profile information. Unable to restore it. Another technician from another company was unable to. Just answer technician worked diligently until he found an answer. Would definitely recommend JustAnswer. I have had ongoing issues with my elderly dog. The vet I consulted, Mandy, was very knowledgeable, a good communicator, and compassionate. I really needed a second opinion on how to deal with my dog's issues. Putting my questions and thoughts in writing also helped me think the issues through. I inherited a bunch of different teacups and saucers. It took me hours to try to find out information about them online (when manufactured, pattern name, worth) and most of the time I came up empty. Working with an antiques dealer on Just Answer, I found out the information I needed very quickly. The expert was patient with my lack of computer skills, and eventually I figured it out. Not that it's difficult, but I have zero computer knowledge when it comes to downloading pictures. I'm so glad I found this site. It saved me loads of time and frustration!

Got very helpful advice from a really good lawyer. He explained everything to me so I understood it easy. I would highly recommend Just Answer as in my opinion they have really good experienced people to help you as much as they can. I didn’t get the answer I wanted to hear but that’s ok cause it was explained to me why. For the last six months I’ve been looking for an answer and now I finally have one. I think these expensive lawyers in life need to take a look at themselves and realise life isn’t always about the dollars. They need to learn a few things from the people who choose to give up their time and work for just answers.

I sat in my sitting room on Sunday evening with pains in my hands and legs an ailment that I had take about 9 months and seen several doctors. My last doctor was the best in that land and as he gave me the last prescription. I bid him bye as i was relocating to USA. I was now about 2 and a half months in USA and very confused. I had seen a doctor who was not a specialist in the area and he tried his best. I just remembered about online doctor.
On googling I logged in to JustAnswer and within no time I was talking to a specialist doctor and I gave him my history, sent photographic images. It took a day or so but eventually they prescribed for me some medicine and explained in detail what I was going through. I have heard a very good experience with mine Doctor and even after treatment he is just an sms away. Keep up with the service of giving people good service. I bought a Ryobi cordless lawn mower and used it for the first time last week on two different lawns. Surprisingly the grass catcher was empty after I mowed the front lawn which I thought was because the grass might not have been long enough. Then I mowed the back lawn and the same thing happened. I read the booklet that came with the lawn mower and over again and couldn't see anything - in words OR pictures - which might explain the problem. I asked Just Answer and John suggested that I take out the mulch plug which was obviously stopping the lawn clippings from entering the catcher. The problem was solved but how odd that the words 'mulch plug' were not mentioned anywhere in the booklet!! Thanks to John I will now have grass cuttings to add to my compost heap - an essential ingredient in helping compost to break down quickly.

Could not get Autodesk to install after my computer had crashed and required that I re-install all my program. I contacted auto desk who directed me to Just Answer and they were able to check my computer and verify that it was working correctly. Just answer were able to identify that the fault was at auto desk or their server and that it was an issue that could not be resolved quickly due to the Covid 19 restrictions on businesses. Much appreciated for the assistance to know that I had been able to re-boot my computer and re-install the other program.

Stay away from Just Answer. I was directed to their website when I was trying to get an answer about resetting the control panel on our Maytag refrigerator. I thought I was agreeing to a $1 charge for the answer to my question (which actually wasn't the correct answer as our control panel had to be replaced). About a week later I noticed a $28 charge from my bank account. I immediately called Just Answer and cancelled my membership.
The next day I saw that the charge had not been reversed. I called Just Answer and asked why I wasn't refunded the charge. The rep told me that I cancelled my membership, but did not ask for a refund. I said, "I thought that went without saying, but now I was asking for a refund." When he refused to refund my money, I asked to talk to his supervisor. He said the supervisor would have to call me back.
At first, I refused to wait for a call back because I really didn't think I'd hear back from them, but he gave me no choice but to wait for a call back. The supervisor did call back, but absolutely refused to refund my $28 because I was sent an email saying that if I didn't cancel with 7 days I'd be charged for the membership. I told him that email probably went to my spam folder, but he still refused to refund my money. I feel that this company uses underhanded ways to get their memberships, and I can only imagine the number of older people like myself who fall for it without realizing it. Shame on you, Just Answer!!!

Technician quickly diagnosed problem. Gave me repair part number needed and a company that could refurbish my part. Fortunately I was able to find a refurbished part online. I plan to replace the part myself based on being able to view parts diagrams online and location information from the technician.

JustAnswer was user-friendly. I had to pay $5 covering a specific period of time to get my answer AND accept being billed a monthly fee if my question could not be answered in that specific period of time. I got my answer within that time period and easily cancelled monthly billing. Legislation on Covid19 allows employers to cut pay but they must apply it according to bases protected under various Employment Laws. I liked getting the answer right away because it was the weekend!

My computer just could not turn on... It is an hp laptop... and the battery cannot be removed like the old ones where you can restart it after taking the battery out and put it back it... So I was glad I found this company and they helped me do something simple that got the peripherals working. During these times of the COVID. I could not get my vet to let me bring my puppy in for examination. I knew he had parvo which we have beat before with other dogs. But something else was going on. We lost him, but I needed answers. The vet that responded was very kind and listened to what my pup was experiencing and gave me a diagnosis of what it more than likely was. He responded very quickly. I only which he would have been closer so I could have actually taken my dog to him. It gave me some closure.

I had a legal question that was answered the same day and they couldn'thelp me, having said that I received my credit card invoice with a $60 charge for membership. I called and canceled, and the next month I was charged again. This is a scam, I don't recall if I knew this was a membership, but I paid the first month, the second month is just gouging.

The company has very misleading billing tactics and poor customer service. Company does not provide writing (email/message) information about trial period and automatic extension into pay services. There is no information about monthly cost. I found a solution myself before getting an answer from the expert. They will get as much money out of you as possible, and their do not refund money even request for refund is made right at the beginning of first pay month. No receipt of charges.

I signed up for their 7-day for $1 trial. It started on April 13 but their website showed April 14. Poor record to begin with. I should have known what's coming. I asked my first question with a quick ok answer. I asked a few more questions the next day. One of the questions was TurboTax related which was not answered satisfactorily in term of how to enter the info. So, I posted the question again for "software expert input". The "expert" gave me a Google-searched answer! I asked a follow up question and never got a reply. I gave a 1-star review.
Today, I got a refund of my $1 and my membership was cancelled! I did not request to cancel my membership. I thought my account was hacked. I called to ask who did that and they gave me at first a vague lousy answer saying that I requested it but later said that the "expert" was "under the impression" that I was not happy with the answer so that "expert" asked customer service to cancel my membership!
In other words, I was kicked out because they cannot answer my question!!!! No wonder that got 5-star reviews because they kicked out all the other stars! What a dishonest way of conducting business. Avoid them. You can answer your own questions better than those "experts"! I have never heard of kicking out customers because you cannot provide what you sell!

I signed up for what I thought was a one off payment for some urgent legal advice. They continued to take $66 out of my account. Even though I used their service just once! I’m a single mother 3 kids, so this is very wrong. They could only refund me for the last 90 days when I called them???

Answered my question and told about 7 day trial period leaving me with impression that $5.00 was all I would pay. I only asked 1 question. Then was charged a $46 fee to be paid monthly. When I reviewed initial page of JUST ANSWER there was no mention of a monthly membership or fee. In fact I was unaware of ANY fee until after I asked a question. JUST ANSWER should make it crystal clear this was a membership and monthly fee AT THE VERY BEGINNING before question is even asked. I am extremely skeptical of using any on-line service again. Customer service was initially very reluctant to refund my $46 asserting that I was to blame for not reading more carefully. I asked one question, one time.
A reputable company would have also refunded the initial $5.00 fee and instead I had to repeatedly reintegrate my position ultimately asking for a supervisor and calling my credit card company. JUST ANSWER eventually agreed to refund me. 2 stars for answering my question but 1 star customer service. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO PAY $532 a year.

Went on JustAnswer.com to ask them 1 question and had no option but to sign up for the trial. Paid my $5/question fee, got my answer, and moved on with life... Until I saw a $66 membership charge on my credit card. It's frankly ridiculous that they charge people this way. I don't remember seeing anywhere I would have to pay this amount let alone that I was authorizing them to charge me $66/month with the credit card I used to pay the $5 question fee. I would have never entered my credit card for a membership. I exclusively entered it to pay the freaking $5 fee and they used it for their sneaky membership BS deal. Ridiculous!

The membership charge amount and information is presented to all customers on the payment page prior to entering any billing information. After the question is posted and the membership is agreed to, we send a receipt E-mail, as well as a payment reminder E-mail, 3-days prior to the recurring billing. The membership bills at the end of the 7-day trial in order to avoid an interruption in service.
In looking at your account we can confirm that your membership was turned off and the most recent membership charge on the account has been refunded. You can come back at any time to post additional questions but you will be asked to post a deposit on a question by question basis moving forward.

TV Outage. The restored picture did not fit the screen. Could not adjust. Tech advised problem was not TV, but cable box. That was the answer. Unable to see all the instructions due to the mis-aligned picture, I was able to work through the instructions and make the necessary adjustments. Thanks.
