Still waiting three days on for an answer regarding oil leak. I just got apologies for delay. Not worth the £5 trial I paid. Needless to say I’ve cancelled the £29 a month subscription that was required. All in all a pretty poor experience. Very dissatisfied with the whole experience and would give it Zero stars but won’t let me do one only reluctantly.

My dog has an eye infection which I noticed on a Sunday. Rather than going to a 24 hr vet I contacted Just Answer and they were prompt and professional and I got the info I needed. I will use them again.

The RV tech that helped me identify issues in my water heater was very polite and prompt. I learned a lot about my water heater and he was very descriptive about what I could do including pictures. I think the only issue would be that my water heater still doesn't work. But I guess that's just part of the problem-solving process.

Robert is a fabulous person. Worked with me all day to get my RV fridge working. Very patient, explained everything to me. Including pictures and reviewed the pictures I sent him. Great guy. He even went as far as to follow up the next day. All in all I didn’t get my fridge fixed, but was still able to take my grandkids out for a few days. Thanks. Tina

Our puppy ate something she should not have eaten. The Veterinary Assistant helped take information while we were waiting for a Vet. They were so helpful and patient with me while I induced vomiting. At 1 AM, I really appreciated their kindness.

I experienced a problem with the light indicating the O/D was off, and heard troubling noises when car needed to change gears. Ultimately, I was advised to not drive my car but to get it towed. My dog had an embarrassing and uncomfortable problem when a grassy turd got stuck in his poop shoot. Of course it was a Sunday night and a local vet tech receptionist referred us to the animal hospital 45 minutes away where a surgeon and radiologist was on staff. Would have likely been a $1500 trip! Ann was very helpful. She got back to me right away and she had add words of wisdom for me, I had no idea my "he" bunny was a "she" and that her pulling out her hair was for nesting. When I went online, the indication was that she was depressed, or had parasites. Since she was indoors, I was certain that it was depression. I put her in a pen to give her more space with some toys. I would highly rate her and would use her again.

I found this site and was very leery at first, but it was a great choice to continue. We had a question about how long should we continue to pay child support when dealing with an adult child, and with no contract ever signed. My dog chipped his tooth at 6 pm on a Friday night and living in a small rural town, none of the vet offices in my area were open. My dog unintentionally got a double dose of pain medication (**) and was lethargic and woozy; I was panicked because it was 3:30 .m. and I didn't know what I should do. Dr. Scott ** asked all the right questions and quickly got back to me with easily to follow advice on what to do. I was in complete panic mode when my 8 month puppy ate at least 2 XS Gas X pills. Of course it was a Sat afternoon and my vet was closed. I was ref to a 24 hour vet. They would not help. They told me I needed to call the animal poison control. That recording said you had to pay 75.00 by credit card before you could talk to someone! Just Answer came on my phone and I gave it a try. They took my information and said they would give it to the vet and he would text me. It was not long after that and I got the nicest most reassuring text that I didn't need to worry. I was able to text with some other questions and he advised me what to do. I will be forever grateful for this service.

I spoke with a Certified Toyota Mechanic and after reviewing my issue and my suspicions, he confirmed that my suspicions were correct. I was able to get some charges removed or reduced from my bill, but because I didn't have them save the disputed part and could not prove that the mechanic at the Toyota dealership broke it, I did suffer a $200 loss. He was right to tell me to dispute it and try to get a reduction in my charges. My son, my son-in-law, and my boyfriend all had said basically what your mechanic told me and after going over the location of parts and where they work with my son-in-law, I am even more convinced that all of us were right and that I was lied to by the service department. Please make sure that you have them hold the parts until you are sure that you have no questions and are totally satisfied with work done.

I 1st spoke with Just Answer online. I was referred to a specific law office who could answer for free because I had a bit of a detailed question. They did respond to me and I was very satisfied that I knew enough information on how to proceed.

I've had the pleasure in corresponding with the lawyers, even though I didn't know how to put my questions down without sounding like a complete twat, they were very professional, polite and helpful. Definitely would use them again and worth the money.

Submitted a question regarding the value of an antique. Ultimately received a response from an appraiser who asked for pictures. When I asked how to send them I received no answer for an hour and then was told to send them to an email address that was invalid. The "assistant" came on the chat line and advised that she would get another expert. She never came back. Basically a waste of time and $5.00.

We were installing a new thermostat that utilized a C wire adapter. When complete we could not power the new thermostat- or the old one. Have a very sick Yorkie and all local Vets were closed until July 6. I had used Just Answer in the past, so used it again. Great service, and the Veterinarian who took my questions responded with enough information for me to know what to watch for. My pup needs a doctor, but the 2 that serve our city were closed. Today I reached 3 others in our general area, and none would see our Yorkie....said they were booked up. So not much I could do but keep my dog comfortable, watch him closely, and hope our local Vet will see him tomorrow. I feel pretty certain we will have to put him on his journey across the Rainbow Bridge. He's lost all bodily functions, hasn't eaten in 4 days, drinks water and regurgitates it. He can't walk too far, and when he tries, he often falls over, so will lie down and sleep wherever he falls. I truly appreciate all the help Dr. ** provided.

My dogs had taken too many herbal calming treats. I had called a local vet who recommended I call the ASPCA hotline which wanted to charge me $65 before even connecting me with someone. Beware… you will be charged automatically monthly $46.00 for one question. Luckily I put it on PayPal who informs me of my charges. I asked of course to remove the current July charge. But of course I got sucked into paying it. If you look at the receipt, my 1 simple question was made in May.

I used Just Answer to ask a question and they answered it for $1. Fine. You have to then opt out or you get billed for $46 within a week. When I saw that my Pay pal account had been billed for $46 I filed a grievance. First of all, I thought I had a month. But secondly I got no additional notice I was going to be billed. I did not think that without asking an additional question I would be billed for $46. JustAnswer responded to me that they could not refund my money.

The premium membership was canceled and I was assured that they would cancel it but they continue to take the money and would not refund it. While the expert gave me good information and the service could be useful to some their billing practices are Shady at best. The services that they offer are not worth the headache of not being able to cancel and the company continuing to take money out of your account unauthorized. Stay away from JustAnswer.com.

My Facebook account has been disabled. I need it to be reactivated so that I can use it for a business application. I paid a dollar to use Just Answer for one week. WHEN I deactivated the recurring payment of $ 66 it stopped my 1 week privilege too. They tried to solve my problem the first and only early. Everything stopped when I stopped the recurring payment. MY Facebook account is still disabled.

Did what they said!??? And if I had a problem with any other appliances or things that I need information on I would be sure to contact Just Answer, as they have pros that give the information you need fast, and would definitely pass that information about Just Answer!

Webb-Guy helped me through troubleshooting and repair of two of my major appliances (gas clothes dryer & dishwasher). He was professional, cordial & easy to understand. He was quick to get back to me with answers to my questions. I'm not sure that I will continue with the monthly service, as it does not seem cost effective for just a single household of appliances. But the onetime experience was well worth it.

I have had to call Just Answer 3x in the past year. I have a basset hound who puts everything in her mouth. Although we are very careful, we are not perfect beings and she had gotten into things. I have used this service several times now and am so glad it is available. More people need to know about it. I am a Senior Software Engineer and have asked Technical questions and also personal non-technical questions and each time I received responses from people offering to answer my question or assist me. The rate they charged was very reasonable and well worth the money I spent. Saved me a lot of time and anguish. Also the Customer Services people at JustAnswer have been great also. If there was a problem then they were quick to respond and clearly wanted to resolve it to my satisfaction. NO SCAM HERE!

The technician told me it had to be a bad board in my fridge. There are two in the fridge. When I spent $500 to buy 2 new boards for the fridge and it did not fix the problem he told me that one of the boards was bad. When I pushed, he told me that it has to be the board and offered no other solution. I had to call a GE technician who quickly deduced that it was a bad Evaporator Fan Motor. I bought one for $75, replaced it myself and it works great now. So the $5 offer from JustAnswer cost me $500 of bad advice. That is a solid 1 because it doesn't get any lower.

Do not use this service, I use the veterinarian service. The veterinarian was wonderful. A message came up asking if I wanted the appointment via phone call. I said yes. It cost $40. That's fine. Then I got a message saying that veterinarian was not available for a phone call so we did it via text message which is also fine and they took the $40 out of my bank account anyways. Then I find out just by exploring the website that I am now a member at $42 a month which nobody asked me about. I didn't feel anything out nothing. Still haven't gotten my money back so beware.

She reviewed the lab work my own vet did not review with me, that I'd spent 3 to 4 days studying on my own; explained the data contained therein and the significance and import of them and of a certain test; was able to disavow several of my vet's "throw the kitchen sink" diagnoses as unsupported by the lab work and focus my attention to what is most likely the cause as well as suggest a plan of action including tests that my vet did not do. I would definitely use this service again to obtain an invaluable second opinion.

In March, I had a simple legal question. It had to do with eligibility for unemployment benefits. I just took over my 87 year old father's finances after the death of my mother to find a reoccurring charge of $46 monthly on his credit card. My father had no idea how he "subscribed". All he knew was he was offered an answer to how to retrieve a lost email password for $1. I contacted JustAnswer and they said they would look into this and get back to me in 24 hours. That was 6 days ago. I'll repost after contacting state agencies regarding elder abuse in this matter.

Scam, scam, scam!!! Run far away from this company... If I could rate this company a zero I would. I don't even remember signing up for this until my credit card was charged. According to them, my "trial" membership was up on the 24th and I was charged $28 on my card. They informed me that even though I cancelled it and don't want it they can't/won't refund my money. I never posted anything or asked a question. I feel like I was scammed out of money. This company is a complete joke. I am extremely upset about this and this company could care less about how I feel. They care more about the money than they do about making customers happy.

You get baited into the $5 promo and then get charged $60 for membership for answering a question for 2 minutes that you could have found online anyway. Now I'm out $60. Ridiculous. The customer service agent refused to refund.

I would definitely recommend. Service is amazing, but ..... I heard that they deactivate accounts that ask too many questions. This shouldn’t be allowed or they should have a posted number of questions you can ask per month. That’s literally my only concern but it’s a big one.
