The attorney I talked to was great and answered my question. The company itself is crap and sign you up automatically for their monthly service and then won't refund you for it. Read all the terms before making any purchase. Buyer beware.

When you visited our site and began the process of posting your question, you were met with several messages from us explaining how you are signing up for a Trial Membership to run for 7 days, starting from when you post your first question. If the trial period was not canceled within that 7-day window, your account would transition into a full membership, where we would collect a monthly payment from you each month until you decide to cancel the service. This was all readily displayed for you when you were submitting your billing information before your first question was posted.
We also send several membership-related emails that mention your next billing date, including a Subscription Reminder email to announce that your trial period is coming to an end and that your first membership payment is coming up. I have been trying to figure out how to power four thermostats from the 24 V available from the heating system. I had the installation instructions and read them over carefully, but there was no information about how to power the thermostats. I also called the technical support number and got no help. Then I called Just Answer and got the information I needed within 10 minutes.

We were out of water due to storm and fighting our power going off and on / when the power came on we rushed to wash a load of clothes and then realized after starting it we were still without water - the front load acted as if it needed to drain the water therefore it would stop so trying - I wasn’t sure who to call in the middle of a winter storm but I found Just Answer and they answered right away and quickly solved my problem - the washer went into flood mode and I just needed to let it complete that mode and it would stop and unlock the door to Start over when we had water!!! The service person who helped said this info is not in the Manual - but they had learned it a while back as repairmen!!! Thank you Just Answer. I was back washing within 15 minutes!

Car went into reduced power and I, like a fool started throwing things on it. New throttle body because it didn't change after a thorough cleaning, then new ETB didn't change anything after every relearn procedures known to man didn't help. I changed the accelerator assembly and that didn't change anything. More relearn procedures. Nothing. Wire and connection check for hours. Finally got ahold of these guys and my genius/mechanic quickly figured out what was wrong,.. The new ETB with built-in TPS that you can't replace or tamper with, WAS DEFECTIVE. I never saw that one coming.

I asked Mechanic Mike V. about an issue with my Hyundai. He was very polite, knowledgeable and gave me the correct diagnosis. Mike explained it in a very easy way for me, someone who knows nothing about cars, It could’ve been one of two things and he told me how to figure out which. It was only 3 messages with him until we were done figuring it out. That’s amazing for someone who’s not there to see or hear the car. Thank you so much! I will definitely be using this app again!

The discussion was through text and handled very straight forward which is exactly what I needed. I was looking for guidance and received it. The program tried to sell me on a phone call for an additional price but I simply stated, "No thank you" and for what I paid for with the $5.

The China flu has made it particularly difficult to have face to face conferences with my local vet. Dr. ** provided excellent insight and suggestions to bring my little doggie some relief from what is very likely an allergy problem. I have signed up for the monthly service in the great hope that my future inquiries are as well handled. In the old days, my vet had enough confidence in me to allow my presence during most procedures, including invasive operations, whether my dog was conscious or anasthised. Now, with the panic over the chinese virus, I can't even get in the door to pay my bill, let alone to give Bella assurances while the professionals are struggling to care for her. I liked the one on one with dr. ** and his sound advice. I hope the service remains as good.

The negative cable clamp on my 2015 Chevy Equinox would just not release. After discussion on how and simple procedure we confirmed it just would not come off. Discovery Chevy placed a sawtooth edge on the backside of the battery post. This would keep the clamp from releasing. New procedure, You need disassemble the clamp so the bar can move over past the sawtooth marks. Thank you Auto Doc 1.

I have backyard chickens. There are no livestock vets in my area as I am in a suburb of a large city. One of my chickens became suddenly lame. My only option to diagnose the problem would have been to spend a fortune on an exotic bird vet which was booked out over a week. I was able to get guidance to treat the problem almost immediately. This problem may not be reversible, but I have the information that I need to treat the chicken, keep it more comfortable so hopefully it will recover.

I have a gas Maytag 850 series double oven; the bottom oven stopped heating, but everything else worked. I live in a rural area - Maytag repairmen are hard to come by! I found Just Answer, chatted with Mark M, and he diagnosed the issue as an igniter problem. He found the part # & even looked for its availability online. If you were not aware what you were signing how to go about it which it becomes voided. Unaware such contract. No idea it was a loan. Not explained to you. So it was made clear what to do. It then becomes voided.

At first I thought it might be a scam since they asked for my credit card info for a $5 trial fee. The customer service had been so fast and I had been treated so well I decided to do it. The technician was patient, understandable, and gave simple instructions. He also stayed on the text until everything was complete and working. Then instructed me how to cancel my membership and get credit. I might join now as they will help with so many questions and I WAS really impressed with the service!

It took a while and communicated with several JustAnswer experts but I finally got one that helped me. It was simple, I found out I needed a card reader to download photos from my camera to my computer. I signed up for their 1 week trial offer which they advertised would allow me to ask as many questions as I wanted for 1 week for $5. I only wanted the answer to 1 question, and getting that answer was worth about $5 to me. Instead, after I submitted my question, they said it had been routed to an outside expert who would contact me shortly, which he did, and he sent me an answer, but said it would cost me $34. That is not what I signed up for, so I immediately cancelled the Just Answer membership, but am still unsure if the expert is going to try and charge me $34. DO NOT JOIN JUST ANSWER unless you have more money than brains and enjoy being charged large and random amounts of money!

I wasn’t sure if my sister’s dog accidentally ate rat poison near a city tree and I was frantic for fast info. I was connected to an experienced vet in less than a minute and she gave me urgent info and advice. I then took Ollie to a local vet immediately and his life was saved. Great site to get your short answer quickly and reasonable cost. However, the answer sometimes get in wrong direction because the experts don't really understand the questions. There are excellent experts and also social expert. You will need to state your question clearly so that you can get the correct answer. To get the best answer, the question should be short and specific.

Engineer John C was extremely competent, professional, kind, patient, and an insightful problem solver. He deserves 10 stars if this rating were possible. Unfortunately, my 5-star rating was erroneously recorded on JustAnswer as only 1 star. Please correct this error, so John C will receive credit for his superlative service. After not having had Wi-Fi on my IPad and iPhone for four weeks and after spending many, many fruitless hours with EarthLink tech support that was unable to solve the problem and after trying 4 new modems, I feared the problem would never be resolved. Needless to say, I was thrilled when John C diagnosed and solved my problem as soon as he looked at my “Settings” screen. Please commend John C for his outstanding service. I will certainly recommend him and JustAnswer to my friends.

Really great response time, excellent advice, and Dan is very knowledgeable. I'm a retired paralegal with over 30 years of experience. Trying to find a replacement part for an old massage chair to prevent having to discard it SEEMED impossible. The JUST ANSWER TECH did JUST THAT! They ask you to pay one dollar to start and then 39 to connect with a technician to come in on your computer and fix it. Then he disappears. I guess I should be happy they didn't take more from my credit card.

I needed some information about this company because they were asking for insurance coverage for their different personal accounts because they had been experiencing some hacking. This was not mentioned to me before it was open and they put a lock on my account until I come up with an amount of money that I do not have and I was hoping to find out was there some legal recourse to deal with this and was this a customary procedure. I'm thankful that someone did answer I did address my question however it did not give me a solution. I did not find out if it was a customer procedure and was total perhaps I could contact a securities officer in the country where they are located so I did not get solution to my dilemma. I am unable to contact an out-of-country law office so I do not feel that I was helped all that much.

My dog has had an intractable ear infection, and I couldn't afford to go to the vet. Turned off all devices. Reset AOL password. Turned on devices one at a time, changed password, waited one hour to see if emails went to trash. Password reset worked. Justin was a great help. Website claims to offer first question for $1 and then $46 monthly subscription for additional sessions thereafter. Before I could ask first question, $46 was debited from my acct. On the BBB website, many people have posted the same complaint. I ask my first question. Over 1.5 hours later, still no answer. Experts would accept my issue and then defer to someone else. Finally, I had to leave and was frustrated enough to ask for a refund (this is thru Chat). I get a supervisor who offers to put my issue in a priority queue. Since I couldn't wait any longer, I asked again for the refund. $1 was credited to my account. This $1 was never debited in the first place. I contacted company again and asked about the $46 refund. They responded that it would take 3-5 business days to see $46 refund. Thankfully, I found Excel Chat who answered my question promptly. No tricks.

Hello, I was lured into Just Answer web site with a low fee of $5 to answer a question from a lawyer. The lawyer could not answer the question via chat because she thought it was too complicated to explain. She suggested that I register for a phone call for an additional charge of $30 which I did. We talk, she couldn't help me and that was the end of it.
It has been 28 days since I had that phone call and I just noticed that they charge me $49 for a monthly subscription that I NEVER agreed to. Nowhere did it say anything about a monthly fee. I even contacted them and gave them the opportunity to fix this and refund my money which they denied. After all this I checked this company on the BBB and there are tons of complaints from people who fell prey of the same thing, paying $5 for one question that in reality ended up costing them $49 a month for God knows how long. DO NOT USE THEM, PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO.

Took a chance with this company and called for assistance with problems with my desktop. They had an excellent promotion (I only paid $5.00). I was able to ask as many questions as needed to correct the issues. The first tech didn’t quite get it right but thankfully I spoke with a different technician the second time. The solution he gave was so easy. My pc was up and running in little to no time. Most importantly, the technician emailed me the next day to see if I had any other issues or questions. Never, in my wildest dream, would I thought that I had a simple $5 fix. I definitely recommend that you give these guys a try before calling out the so-called experts.

The two appraisers that I have worked with have told me several things that I didn’t know about the pieces I wanted appraised. I think I also showed that I know quite a bit about those items already. But I do wish there was someone that could answer my questions about my two other pieces of oriental artwork. I know one is a biscuit jar with oriental writing on the bottom but it doesn’t have a lid. The other is a drawing of a girl with a puppet. It is possibly drawn on silk and attached to paper that is in horrible shape but the artwork is still beautiful. No one is giving an appraisal on either piece. I’ve got numerous photos but I will only attach a few here to show what they basically look like. I will probably call tomorrow to see if I can get someone’s attention about these items. I plan on adding more questions and photos about more items.

On December 19, 2020 I spoke with Zoey, an attorney from NY, about a confrontation we had with our landlord on October 15, 2020. Zoey was very professional and knowledgable in legal matters involving evictions, tenant harassment and unlawful detention. Got a very quick response to my question confirming that I could still form a LLC and didn't have to form a PLLC. I was trying to form a LLC but was told that the name I wanted to use required a l I license which I have. So when I suggested changing the name I was told that I still may have to create a PLLC. I did so research and found Just Answer. Who confirmed that if I change the name I would be able to still form the LLC.

Technician/Specialist Ray handled my concern and then solved the issue quickly and patiently. I'm no "techie" and so he guided me through the corrective procedures very patiently and courteously until it was complete. I will contact Just Answer again should I have any additional concerns with my computer, or printer and If I can speak with Ray, that would even be better.

The program was frozen trying to open a file I could not afford to lose. I actually had the IT tech take over my laptop and make the correction for me in real-time. When I inquired what could have caused the error, I was given a number of reasons. Very much appreciated the promptness of the fix.

My initial question was responded to accurately and well by a technician. I tried the service again with a different technician. The service was at an Elite level, I was extremely impressed and it was for a $5 fee when I signed up to a limited amount of days. I was that impressed that I gave a $20 tip to Dean (Your auto inspector) a Mechanical Technician. I Highly recommend his service as he is extremely well detailed and efficient at responding to you. That was my experience.

Very interesting service!! You can ask practically any questions and someone will answer?! I ask several (embarrassingly) basic tax questions and a few advanced ones about things that were important to me. I thought it would take 2-3 days or so for an answer. Nope. Took about 10 minutes. With the pandemic, I have did not want to go out to see a vet. My little girl (cat) sounded like she had a cold and was miserable. Technician was able to provide the proper Bluetooth interface from My Vizio TV to my old Yamaha Tuner. My Vizio TV did not have Bluetooth and I did not know that. Also my old tuner needed a Bluetooth to analog interface and was provided a link to a Bluetooth device sold on Amazon.

When my 06 Zephyr was at normal operating temperature the car would not start until it had time to cool off then it starts with no problem. They said that it sounds like the starter might be going bad. I am going to go ahead and replace the starter. Good Job Just Answer.

When I could finally talk to someone over the phone I could explain my problem and get expert help that solved the problem. IT IS A HUGE POSITIVE THAT YOUR EXPERTS ARE NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS. My first, useless call had been to Microsoft for help, and I couldn't understand the person and got a hard sell to pay for a year's service. I can usually understand non-native speakers, but not him.

My printer presented a very odd problem that seemed unfixable----JUST ANSWER provided a "fix" that seemed very unusual, but it worked!!!! So, didn't have to spend hours dealing with what looked like an unsolvable problem. I would never have been able to intuit this "fix" and was so grateful the issue was fixable.

I called JustAnswer because the controller unit I installed myself over a year ago was producing error messages that I couldn't interpret with the otherwise thorough installation and operation manual. JustAnswer engineers were extremely helpful, bringing their experience with not just this unit but general operations of such units, helping me understand that the error messages I was seeing were innocuous, that my controller did not detect the presence of a damper closing mechanism -- which is correct -- and that the 'error' was thus no error at all, perhaps a bit like a warning on my car that the car is in fact not a Rolls Royce -- a fact well known to me, to the manufacturer, and of course to Rolls Royce! Very helpful.

Grateful for the results but would have liked a little more communication as to what the problem was and how it was fixed. I still don’t know what the problem was. I finally had to leave the iPad on and went on a trip because I didn’t know what was happening and did not know if I could have taken it with me.
