I needed to fill out some papers for a future employer about Tax withholding and things like that. I didn´t understand and so I was advised by a tax consultant and I was able to fill out the papers with the consultant and her advice. But not just that, she helped me with the other papers as well by giving me her suggestions as to how to sign and be consistent with my signature and initials and also with what I shouldn´t sign and wait to have clarity. Very helpful all in all.

My ice maker quit after about 15 years in my formerly top-of-the-line Kenmore fridge. After diagnosing the problem myself, I purchased a refurbished ice maker. No change. So, I subscribed to Just Answer (JA) and laid out my problem in the chat room. JA walked me thru how my ice maker and sensor light should be functioning. Who would have thought a solid state device would fail before a mechanical, motorized part? Anyway, I replaced the light sensor and receiver and it is ginning out ice every 40 minutes and stopping production when the ice bin fills. Installation was a breeze! Thank you, JA!

I bought a piece of beautiful stained glass during the pandemic and for a year had no idea how to get it appraised or restored. I was also really wanting more history if any was possible. Nathan was terrific, he stayed right with me telling me what I should do even as I got very frustrated. By the end he told me it was not me being unable to properly hook up the box but that it appeared to be a defective cable box. It will be returned and I will try another.

Brake lights quit working and he diagnosed fuse problem. The electrical system somehow developed a fault. The fault resolved after or reset after driving it 10 to 15 miles. This was my first time using your service and it is on my list for possible contact on future automotive concerns.

I had to change my modem. The printer would not connect to my iMac computer. I contacted both Apple and HP. Neither were any help. I spoke with Francisco at Just Answer. Their business appears to be bait and switch tricking people out of their money. I was told by a online chat representative that I could ask one question for $1. I put in my credit card info and was immediately charged a full membership fee. Within minutes I went to cancel and was told there would be no refunds. All the customer service reps I spoke to (I spoke to many) told me that there would be no refunds and when I explained to them that I was misled and that it says on their own website that EVERY MEMBERSHIP comes with a FREE 7-day TRIAL. I have chat snapshot of them telling me this and then I was billed 61. When sent over to their customer service they said no refunds.

Well, your advice was good because it worked! We added a litter box and it did help. The next day the offending cat pooped in the new box. When I get in here and ask for a specific mechanic i.e.. Mercedes or Mazda, etc. that's what I want. Not a guy who no idea about the vehicle I'm working on. I had a Mazda mechanic answer. Did not send me to a Mercedes mechanic when asked and then wants a rating. Look at my interactions and you will see what I'm talking about. One of them actually said, "Call a dealership." The vet had me take my dog outside and induce vomiting. He also recommended following up with my vet since the medicine was so toxic. I did and after some IV fluids and medicine my dog seems to be recovering well. Thank you for your help.

My TV was not working and the question of paying someone to check it out and fix it vs buying a new one, left me with a dilemma. So I contacted Just Answer, described my TV’s symptoms, for a small fee. They described where the problem llay, how much it would cost for parts and service, and I quickly realized, it would be a bad investment to repair. Also recommend their when asks which brands they would feel comfortable with ownership. So we’ll worth the investment.

I have only used the service THREE TIMES in six months, regarding TWO technical issues. I got two out of three helpful answers, but one that caused me problems. I canceled my membership today and asked for at least one month's refund -- including one that was made just yesterday when I unsuccessfully tried to cancel, knowing the charge was imminent. I was unsuccessful because I was on my smartphone, since I was busy out and about. I was not satisfied with my telephone conversation with the customer service representative. They were very nice but not able to act in a humane way; they simply cited company "rules." I find it very hard to believe that the reason they couldn't give me a refund was because I accepted the terms of service when I started a free trial. If that were the case, then this company would never give refunds. I am still expecting a refund of one if not two months of what I paid.

After my puppy ate a small piece of a balloon, I was very unsure what to do next. The response from Just Answer was so quick. I've noticed that many other people have had this similar issue so it can't just be me. Customer service basically tells you that you can't read and that you should've known what you were paying. It's very insulting and unprofessional. These people are thieves. They charged me $46 for a 5 minute long membership and the expert didn't even answer my question. It wasn't even worth the $1 I thought I was going to pay.

This website is pure robbery. When I tried to cancel my membership as I was unaware of the extreme fees, they would not refund me. Then they still charged me for the following month even though I had cancelled it well before the next month started. This company has zero customer service, and if you have not used it don't start.

I had a question regarding the size of my KitchenAid mixer bowl. I was told that they would be able to provide an answer quickly but I would first have to pay a $1.00 membership fee. I was fine with that but after I gave them my credit card I was billed $37.00 and that the fee would be charged every month until cancellation. When I returned to the chat session and explained what I thought was an error I was told that they would cancel my membership and there would not be any recurring charges. Nevertheless, I was billed $37.00 not just the $1.00. As I see it I was robbed. As far as I am concerned this practice should be outlawed. Clearly the objective is to harvest as many membership fees as possible and part of that process is to entice consumers with a phony $1.00 membership.

On the face of it some legal advice for £5 sounded too good to be true. Well, that is exactly what it was, too good to be true. After signing up for a 7 day trial and paying £5 I had brief conversation with a guy who may or may not have been a lawyer, solicitor or some kind of legal expert. At no point was it obvious or made clear to me that by signing up for the 7 day I was creating an account that would result in full membership at £50/ month. I was also sent no email warning me that the trial period was expiring and they were about to charge me.
JustAnswer support has pointed out that I agreed to the full membership by not cancelling the trial, this may or may not be true, but it certainly was not clear that that was how it worked and they certainly did not email me any terms or conditions or forewarn me that the trial was ending. In short I have paid £105 to JustAnswer for some advice I could have got in an internet forum. The support team are not interested in support and there seems to be no way of lodging an appeal. Avoid these people like the plague. The advice they give may or may not be helpful but they are crooks just hoping you will forget to cancel the membership you didn't even know you had taken out.

Heat was not working properly and temperature in house was down to 65 degrees. Tried to reset thermostat to no avail so I pulled up 'Just Answer' as suggested in the user manual. My GSD hurt his back leg to the point that he couldn't put any weight on it. It was very concerning, because he had surgery for a torn ACL two years ago on the same leg. I contacted a Vet through JustAnswer, and got an immediate result. The advice was spot on, and by the next morning, he didn't even limp! Even more encouraging, I received a follow up from the Vet the next morning, expressing concern and just checking to see that he was okay. Excellent!

Dr. Scott was quick to respond when we had reached out regarding our yellow lab, who had eaten a couple of grapes while staying with some friends while we were out of town. He responded with care and provided all the research which he based his recommendations on. He let us know we could reach back out if we had additional questions/concerns or if something changed with any symptoms. He also followed up with is to see how she was feeling later on. I appreciate his willingness and his friendly responses. For this worried mamma, he put my mind at ease. Emma is completely fine with no symptoms at all, but in those moments beforehand were scary. On their chat, they told me that they were going to charge $1 for a week trial and and proceeded to charge $30 instead. When I called them, they refused to honor their word and said that I had accepted a membership because I post a question. I told them that that is not what I was told before receiving help. They said that nothing in the chat says anything about $1 week trial. When I looked back to the chat they recorded on my account, they conveniently cut the chat transcript just before the week trial was offered so they could say that there's no proof. To make it worse, both times I called customer service to request a refund, they hung up on me. So....just know that you will receive the service but there's no such thing as a trial period and that the customer service sucks.

I got a very prompt detailed response. The amount of chocolate was not toxic and basically not to worry unduly. This put my mind at rest and was a great deal. Cheaper than contacting my vet at night. He had no ill effects and was fine.

I asked for advice via chat and agreed to the $1 charge for the answer. Things went smoothly until a pop up asked if i wanted to continue on the phone for $24. I declined. I was then charged $37 and they won't refund my money although it was never authorized. I went round and round with them on chat to complain after I received my bank statement and they keep disconnecting the chat. No resolution. Complete fraudsters.

Firstly, I was signed up to a £28/month scheme after only agreeing to pay £5 to get an answer to my question. Fair enough. Then I paid £16 more to get a direct call from an expert. My card was charged, but immediately afterwards the site said 'your expert cannot call you, but will remain online to answer your query. However, when I went back to the original chat, the "expert" had disappeared and provided me with no answer to my questions. I never received the call. Eventually, about twenty minutes after I had fixed the problem myself, the "expert" sent me a response that was literally copied directly from Google. £49 to get an answer from Google via chat is a total scam.

I was looking for information on a vintage knife I have. After an extensive search, I paid the dollar they requested for trial. I asked to talk to an expert. I was assured someone would get ahold of me right away. After waiting for 3 hours for a response I decided not to do business with them. I contacted them immediately and told them I wasn't happy and that I wanted to cancel my "membership" right now. They did.
The next day I looked at my bank account and seen that they not only did they take the dollar but they took out an additional $28. I hadn't even used the service as their "expert" didn't respond until the next day. I emailed them and sent text messages and no response. I went back to the sight and they don't give refunds at all. Even if you don't use them they keep the money they steal from you. Not only that but they claim you talk to an expert, but, they don't verify whether their employees are actually experts and have a disclaimer excusing themselves from any liability if you talk to someone that's not an expert. I truly don't recommend doing business with this company.

My dash cluster read "No Fuse" when I started and my key fob would not unlock my doors. I called two dealerships and 2 repair shops and got the same answer, it's a electrical issue and we are 6-8 weeks out before we could look at it. I got online to Just Answer and talked to Eric a Chrysler mechanic. Within about 8 emails back and forth checking and trying different things Eric sent me a diagram of the fuse panel and high lighted 6 possible fused the IOD controlled which effect the communication of the door locks and wireless connection to my car. I found one fuse that kept blowing and it was fuse 14.
After telling Eric that he said that possibly the cluster was bad. We replaced another cluster to test and it blew the same fuse. Eric then asked for the VIN of my car and within minutes said to check the visor light over the driver's door that and the cluster was the only two functions fuse 14 had. That was the problem a exposed wire under the headliner going to the lighted mirror on the visor!! Problem solved! I really appreciate Eric and "Just Answer". I was considering adopting an older dog (female). As I didn't know if the dog was spayed yet, I wasn't sure yet whether an older female (11 yrs. old) could get pregnant. I have younger male dog that hasn't been neutered yet. I was connected with a very nice Vet that explained to me that she can still get pregnant. We adopted her anyway and happily found that she had already been spayed.

My five year old geothermal system was shutting down with a dehumidifier fault message. Turns out the drain was blocked and needed to be cleaned. They say they are upfront with their charges but that isn't my experience. Upfront they mention the 1 dollar joining fee. I was in a rush trying to figure out if I needed to take my sister to the hospital. I didn't see that it was 1 dollar to join, on top of 46 dollars. I explained that I couldn't afford 46 dollars and that I would like a refund since I had already canceled my membership. They told me I was out of luck because apparently the 46 dollars was mentioned at the top of the second page.

On June 3rd of 2021, I noticed a charge from JustAnswer for $60 and called to inquire as to who they are and what do they do. I explained to them that I am not interested in their services and specifically told them that they DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO EVER CHARGE MY DEBIT CARD AGAIN. At the end of the conversation, I assumed that would be that. Not so, on August 3rd of 2021, JustAnswer again charged my debit card for $60 and since has refused to issue me a refund telling me over and over every, single time I call that they will have the non-existent, illusional fraud department call me. Nothing has been done.
It has been over 30+ days now and I have yet to be issued a refund when they have committed fraud by charging my card when they did not have authorization to do so. I would strongly advise anyone that is wanting to utilized this company...DON'T DO IT. Once you give them your card information for payment they will continue to charge your card, even fraudulently committing credit card theft, when you cancel them and tell them that they are no longer allowed to charge your card. This company doesn't even deserve a 1-star rating from me however, we are not allowed to leave -negative stars.

Our 10 year old dog had chronic diarrhea with a significant amount of bright red blood in it (and on his fur following each session). It was a weekend so I contacted this site and emailed/texted with a vet who, after learning we did not wish to get him to the emergency vet clinic in town, recommended getting some anti-diarrhea liquid which we were able to obtain through Petco. We started him on it immediately and, after 2 days, it was pretty much cleared up (he was on his third day of the diarrhea). I didn't even know that existed, but we will now have it in our house and our dogs' first aid kit. We took him in to our regular vet today so that he could be thoroughly checked out to make sure we weren't overlooking something serious (the blood and amount was scary) and, after bloodwork and exam, he was fully cleared as being healthy.
They did give us some non-liquid medication for his diarrhea as well as some digestive medicine (probiotic) and I know we'll get an even better night's sleep tonight. I appreciate the JustAnswer vet's advice and calming approach very much and felt reassured we were okay waiting a day (contacted on Sunday) so he could see his own vet. I was terrified that my terrier mix was in his final hours, so in a panic, I reached out to JustAnswer in the middle of the night. An emergency vet was located for me, who took her time to understand exactly what symptoms he was showing, and sent me information backing up her initial thoughts on what was going on with him - not kidney failure causing a backup of toxins, but just an especially rough night of back pain. I called my local vet to confirm, got some anti-inflammatory meds to tide him over 'til the appointment, and he's just fine. JustAnswer saved me a giant ER bill and really eased my mind. I just moved to a small town and could not find a vet to take my cat to for an emergency. She hadn’t been feeling good for 2 days and the only appt I could get was 4 days out and they were reluctant to take a new customer. (I really hate this town). So I went online looking for answers and found Just Answer where for $30 I could actually speak to a vet or a vet tech.
I got a Vet named Dr. ** and he was there immediately after giving my info to the tech. I even sent in pictures to show exactly what we were dealing with. He walked me thru how to treat my cat who apparently just had an abscess burst and there was blood everywhere. I got her cleaned up and treated even though I couldn’t get to a vet for 2 more days. Now that the 2 days are here, she is fine. So they saved me hundreds of $$ for the cost of a bath and a healing patch. This is the second time I have used Just Answer for a dog that ate something they shouldn't have. The first time, they guided us through the process and assured us the dog would be ok, since it wasn't as bad as we thought. The second time, a few days ago, we knew it was bad. The emergency vet couldn't see us and poison control had us on the phone forever. The vet answered our questions, helped us have the dog vomit, and helped us with her heart rate. She is fine now. I signed up for a $1 trial period and went ahead with my question, not realizing that after one week I would AUTOMATICALLY be enrolled for $36 per month and the membership would AUTOMATICALLY be renewed each month until I cancelled the AUTOMATIC renewal with PayPal. JustAsk refuses to refund my $34 - with a form response, which indicates that they get many such complaints. It isn't a scam, but it is underhanded.

I had asked for an expert opinion on their website which the chat expert told me is for only 5$ and I gave in my credit card details. I was never told of any membership fee that I would be charged nor was I intimated of the same. When I checked my credit card after 4 months I was charged every month for this membership which I never subscribed for. I was looking for emergency online vet for my bunny when I couldn't find any nearby emergency bunny care. This website was shown the first option and said that they have rabbit vet responds in minutes on the title. The ad made it looked like they are professional online vet organization and of course I desperately trusted it. Pay for the $1, entered my bunny's situation, and been told by that virtual assistant that I will soon be answered. Didn't get an answer until four or five days later. As a platform for people to ask questions and get professional answers, this website is fine. BUT you can't just put a false and misleading Ad out there to trick people who's in a panic and emergency situation and is seeking help desperately, just to take away their money. That's just disgusting.

He wasn't with me so the doctor couldn't speak with him as they would have to speak with him on the phone I was using the service on. Long story short. My dog had an embarrassing and uncomfortable problem when a grassy turd got stuck in his poop shoot. Ann was very helpful. She got back to me right away and she had add words of wisdom for me, I had no idea my "he" bunny was a "she" and that her pulling out her hair was for nesting. When I went online, the indication was that she was depressed, or had parasites. Since she was indoors, I was certain that it was depression. I put her in a pen to give her more space with some toys. I was in complete panic mode when my 8 month puppy ate at least 2 XS Gas X pills. Of course it was a Sat afternoon and my vet was closed. I was ref to a 24 hour vet. They would not help. I spoke with a Certified Toyota Mechanic and after reviewing my issue and my suspicions, he confirmed that my suspicions were correct. I was able to get some charges removed or reduced from my bill, but because I didn't have them save the disputed part and could not prove that the mechanic at the Toyota dealership broke it, I did suffer a $200 loss. He was right to tell me to dispute it and try to get a reduction in my charges. My son, my son-in-law, and my boyfriend all had said basically what your mechanic told me and after going over the location of parts and where they work with my son-in-law, I am even more convinced that all of us were right and that I was lied to by the service department. Please make sure that you have them hold the parts until you are sure that you have no questions and are totally satisfied with work done.

Submitted a question regarding the value of an antique. Ultimately received a response from an appraiser who asked for pictures. When I asked how to send them I received no answer for an hour and then was told to send them to an email address that was invalid. The "assistant" came on the chat line and advised that she would get another expert. She never came back. Basically a waste of time and $5.00.

We were installing a new thermostat that utilized a C wire adapter. When complete we could not power the new thermostat- or the old one. Have a very sick Yorkie and all local Vets were closed until July 6. I had used Just Answer in the past, so used it again. Great service, and the Veterinarian who took my questions responded with enough information for me to know what to watch for. My pup needs a doctor, but the 2 that serve our city were closed. Today I reached 3 others in our general area, and none would see our Yorkie....said they were booked up. So not much I could do but keep my dog comfortable, watch him closely, and hope our local Vet will see him tomorrow. I feel pretty certain we will have to put him on his journey across the Rainbow Bridge. He's lost all bodily functions, hasn't eaten in 4 days, drinks water and regurgitates it. My dogs had taken too many herbal calming treats. I had called a local vet who recommended I call the ASPCA hotline which wanted to charge me $65 before even connecting me with someone. I was connected with a vet through JustAnswer who was able to see photos of the pill bottle that I sent through text. I was then given kind and quick responses. Very appreciative!

I have experienced Justanswer and was pleased with responses. Though due to my lack of use of the site, I didn’t take advantage of all that they offered. I didn’t try the phone option as it is more expensive. But would do if I had more time (in the process of moving). So overall I was happy with the service and advice. John

Beware… you will be charged automatically monthly $46.00 for one question. Luckily I put it on PayPal who informs me of my charges. I asked of course to remove the current July charge. But of course I got sucked into paying it. If you look at the receipt, my 1 simple question was made in May.

I used Just Answer to ask a question and they answered it for $1. Fine. You have to then opt out or you get billed for $46 within a week. When I saw that my Pay pal account had been billed for $46 I filed a grievance. First of all, I thought I had a month. But secondly I got no additional notice I was going to be billed. I did not think that without asking an additional question I would be billed for $46. JustAnswer responded to me that they could not refund my money.

The premium membership was canceled and I was assured that they would cancel it but they continue to take the money and would not refund it. While the expert gave me good information and the service could be useful to some their billing practices are Shady at best. The services that they offer are not worth the headache of not being able to cancel and the company continuing to take money out of your account unauthorized. Stay away from JustAnswer.com.

My Facebook account has been disabled. I need it to be reactivated so that I can use it for a business application. I paid a dollar to use Just Answer for one week. WHEN I deactivated the recurring payment of $ 66 it stopped my 1 week privilege too. They tried to solve my problem the first and only early. Everything stopped when I stopped the recurring payment. MY Facebook account is still disabled.
