Our expert vet was pvery knowledgeable and helped us take the right course of action. If I ever need assistance I hope she is the one who connects with me. Unfortunately she didn't make it, but not from the vet guidance, we just didn't see it in time. She was very sympathetic of our loss.

I was panicked over my cat after hours so wanted to get help. They seemed like they might be a good place, tell they got my credit card. They billed me and keep giving me new fraudulent charges on my credit card, when they never once gave me a service. The only thing they have ever done is bill me. It's all completely automated and they have no easy way to contact a person over these concerns. Be honest with your customers that they are paying you to get the pleasure of getting nothing from you.

My man Nich1019 is honestly the only reason I keep this service. I am owner operator of a dump truck and some equipment. I do a lot of my own work. He is super knowledgeable and has helped me through numerous issues, troubleshooting, and repairs. He is everything Cat! He can pull up part numbers, wiring diagrams, repair procedures etc. He has been an invaluable resource for me! So glad I got him when I first signed up and submitted my question!

I paid for the $5 trial and was instantly connected to an attorney, Wendy, who answered all of my questions regarding how to fill out different small claims action forms. She was super helpful and even went above and beyond in finding additional information that helped me. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone who's seeking legal advice but is not at the point where they need to hire a lawyer.

I was in dire distress when my puppy ate something that could have been a disaster. My vet was closed for the night and the closest emergency vet is about an hour away. I happened to come across Just Answer while I was trying to google information. I figured I'd give it a shot and was quickly connected to a competent veterinarian who gave me excellent advice. My pup is fine and now my membership is set up and will be able to get in touch with a vet whenever necessary.

The agent was very professional and kind. He was very helpful and resolved some of my problems. However no one explained how the fee I paid works. Is it a one-time fee and for how long. I need to know this information to follow my budget. I would like to recommend your app to others who have the same problem.

I had an issue with one of my cats - he had a scratch just below his eye that caused an infection around his eyelid. Dr. Maria ** was super quick to respond and the medication she recommended cleared up his infection in a matter of a few hours - after only the first dose. If I had to wait for my own vet, it would have been a 2 week wait and hundreds of dollars. Likewise, had I gone to the local pet urgent care, I would have spent the day in the waiting room and my wallet would have been several hundred dollars lighter. For non-life-threatening issues I highly recommend this service. Well worth the monthly fee.

The doctor was very helpful with information and was calming at a scary time when my dog had eaten part of a poison plant. He gave me clear instructions as to what to expect and some alternatives as to what to do as well as what to look for to take the next step, if necessary, to take the dog to the emergency vet here in town.

This website is a fraud. No expert ever came to answer the question. It said it's only $5 but they charge you $35 and the agents are rude. This is fraud. Don't make an account on here. They will take your money and they make it hard and difficult to get your money back.

I tried this site to get an answer about my transmission, at first the mechanic I was dealing with seemed nice, however, the site charged my bank account three times, one to join ($1), one a monthly fee ($30), one to receive a phone call ($26). It turned out that when I tried to access my account on their website, it stated that my account did not exist. Meanwhile, I was contacted by the mechanic via text messages, and I inquired how to contact customer service, due to that option was not available on their web page. I informed him that I was concerned that I had been scammed, he assured me that I had not been scammed. He said that he would let customer service know that I needed help with my account.
Customer service emailed me and I informed them that I could not access my account, to which customer service replied information concerning refunds, favoring them, of course, and nothing about accessing my account. I reminded them that I could not access my account, to which they replied that they have closed my account, a retaliatory response I assume. Not a grown-up response. I tried to contact the mechanic again, but I received no response. I was totally scammed and now I have to have my bank stop their recurring $30 monthly charges. This has not been a good experience, but getting ripped off by scammers never is.

I went here to ask one question. The site said there was a $5 charge, one time. I gave my credit card information and was immediately charged $5 and $60. I did not fill out any form or register in any way. They canceled the membership when I contacted the chatbot but refused to refund my membership fee. Very dissatisfied.

The site advertises that it is easy to cancel service. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL! Every time you try to cancel online, the website freezes. When you use customer service chat online, you are told you have to call them. When you call the help line, you are told they are unable to cancel accounts and referred back to the website. I tried multiple days at multiple times and the website ALWAYS froze when I tried to discontinue... In the meantime, my bank account was billed for a service I had not used. My own account at Justask shows I had not used the service in over 90 days, but I was still charged for it.

Initial sign on appears to be $2.00 to ask a question. Credit card is quickly charged $2.00 plus $40.00 for a monthly membership, to continue at $40.00 monthly. No clear indication of monthly membership initially. Initial question therefore is $2.00 plus $40.00 minimum!!

This website is a BIG SCAM. When talking to their online bot it asked me to pay one time fee $2 for me to get answer from their professional lawyer. It charged $82 on my bank account and said that I purchased a monthly subscription. It was never mentioned once that I will be paying their monthly subscription. When I talked to their customer service agent and explained my situation, he didn't help me at all and said this is my problem that I didn't read it right but there was literally nothing written on that form about monthly subscription. He ended the chat and didn't even tried to understand my situation. Please avoid this website at all costs.

After months of frustration trying to get my trailer on IMDb JustAnswer showed me that I needed to convert my trailer into an .mp4 file. I followed their instructions and zip, I had a .mp4 trailer. I entered it on IMDb and within a second or two my trailer was on IMDb. They deserve a Pat on the back.

90% of what I was told was accurate and the one thing I am not positive about was still in hunting down relevant info the person was very courteous and kind. He was able to help articulate my questions when I didn’t even know what I was asking. I’d recommend him to anyone who has any questions about infectious disease.

My little girl ate a tassel from my wife's slipper that got stuck in her stomach where she was vomiting the entire Memorial Day Weekend. The online Vet was a huge relief to answer tough questions I had in a timely, caring, and detailed manner that eased my fears until I got my baby to the Emergency Vet Hospital the Vet Clinic referred me to.
The estimate to treat her was between $6K to $10K, the hospital of course ran the blood work, all the internal plumbing was great for my 14 y/o baby. So we paid the minimum $6K on Tuesday, she's home recovering now with a special diet over the next week and meds. That $6K price tag cut in half as surgery was needed in the end but she was pretty dehydrated from the weekend. We gave her water sparingly! :) Big thank you to online Vet, you came through in a pinch and we're eternally grateful.

My tech was extremely helpful. But I sure would've gotten further if I could've talked to him directly. I would never pay that much to call someone. I already pay for a cellphone, and had to pay for the service. Phone calls should be included in the monthly charge. But that is my opinion. My issue still remains unsolved

Other than taking quite a while to hear from the vets I got great information without spending $200 plus for a visit to the clinic. My great horse has gotten Cushing's Disease and I was very worried about her care. Is this a genetic condition that the beautiful Palomino mule she produced might get it.

Used this service to get advice for my dog who was in poor health. Service advertises $2 to join and ask questions to a veterinarian. In my crisis, I signed up and unfortunately my dog passed a day later. Little did I know I had signed up for a $42/month subscription - which it did not clearly state ANYWHERE on the website or in the process of signing up. Now I have paid for multiple months of this service with no use since I don't even have a dog anymore.
I have talked to numerous customer service representatives from Just Answer - one who disconnected from me purposefully on the chat mid-conversation, and others over the phone, who have baited me with a phone call from a "supervisor" - which I have not received. This company is a scam and just tries to trick people into a subscription unknowingly, and refuses to make the situation better even though they state "Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. At JustAnswer we take pride in delighting our customers."

Ink Absorber. Not worth trying to get serviced because of high cost. Have obtained a replacement Canon Printer. Will use former printer toll it finally gives up so as to use up last of expensive inks. Benjie very good in his advice. Informed of a way to try and clear, but a mechanic or serviceman I am not, and could stuff up everything, so new printer to be safe. Thank you Perl for your follow up, much appreciated. Hopefully no more problems and as am rising 88 years, new printer will see me out.

I needed a consultation about my animal, who is not a typical pet, but more of a domesticated 4 weeks old gosling. It took a while to find a doctor who is familiar with aviary, when the doctor texted me, she was very clear of what she can or can not do. She also was very useful as for referring me to a source to obtain proper medication. The only downside was that the doctor could not prescribe medication while consulting online.

I was pleased with all the help given me solve except that it took so long. Final discovery -- that email "from GEEK SQUAD" was a scam which I discovered from noticing who sent it. The person helping me confirmed it, but since he had control of my computer I thought he would have found what I did much faster.

Doctor was thorough, asked very specific follow-up questions, and had diagnosis quickly. Doctor was able to explain symptoms, and causes succinctly. Would be 5 stars, but asked follow-up questions which went unanswered. I will certainly use service again. It was more convenient than going to emergency clinic.

As a physician I most highly DO NOT recommend this site. This site is entirely useless and a waste of time. You are so much better off somewhere, anywhere else. I cannot imagine where in the world they got people to leave positive reviews. This opinion is based on two separate interactions with > 2 years apart.

This is a real review, not an AI review! I clicked a link from a chat agreeing to pay $5 to get my question answered and got an invoice for $35. I NEVER saw this. They said I agreed on the page that my credit card info was entered on. Super deceptive. Should have known when my bank immediately asked if this was a fraud charge. Check out the lawsuit against their deceptive business practices. It’s a great concept if you are willing to pay $35 to get a question answered. I have my own vet so I could have waited a few hours and reached out to them for free. Watch out for hidden charges. They have a zero refund policy under any circumstances. That should say something in itself.

I tried your service with a computer question and found the billing process to be deceptive, was $121 on the hook just by clicking on icons where it was anything but clear I was being charged. First, it was $2, then the 56 and 65 charges were not explained openly.

I greatly appreciated the explanation and time given to me, to comprehensively explain the recommended solution. I also appreciated not feeling the least bit rushed to conclude the call-excellent and knowledgeable mechanic!! In addition, I was somewhat surprised to learn that a Midas shop had not followed this complete path in their diagnosis-this taught me to get the recommendation from JustAnswer 1st next time, THEN go to a shop!

But they have so many hidden sections that unless you're a lawyer, its almost impossible not to get dragged into their scam business. They saved my credit card information which I also did not agree to but who knows with so much garbage on their website what you're signing up for. Their online lawyer was also useless and contradictive with their help that it almost seemed like I was chatting with a bot. Not to mention the lawyer kept insisting on spending another $60 for "more help". Are you serious?! They cut me off in their chat system and once I finally got them on the phone, they magically started to have connection issues. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND FIND A REAL LAWYER TO CONSULT WITH!
This is the problem with all online businesses alike. Slimy practices like advertising their "cheap" services just to loop you in and steal your money and then claim "I agreed" because of some hidden checkbox or some other hidden section. I'm an engineer and seen this happen too many times that I am now also a victim of this shady scheme. I'm making my rounds on every platform in the world to complain about this company and leave a negative review!

In March 2023, I needed help with the installing a thermostat (to get the heat back on in our house). The technician was friendly and helpful and able to help me fix my issue. I did not realize #1) the "help" was not $1. It was $45 and #2) that charge was going to be a recurring. I did not have any issue paying the $45 at the time as the technician did help. I have not used the service since. When I called looking for refund and to cancel my account, I explained I was not aware I was signing up for a subscription service, all I was told was that it was part of the agreement when I signed up for the first call and that I was not entitled to a refund. I will not use them again and will not recommend them ever, at all. I had a great experience the first time, but given the response, I'm led to believe their policy counts on people not realizing they will be charged $40/month with no recourse at all.

Signed up with JustAnswer and a short time later Chris a Ford service expert called me. We discussed the problem l was having and what I had done so far to diagnose and correct the problem. He had electrical diagrams for my 2001 Ford as did I. We went through the circuit in question. He was a great help and definitely had the experience and knowledge of my vehicle. Chris was a great help and friendly. He took his time and I did not feel rushed. There is a price for all this great help but in my case it was worth it. Thanks Chris and just answer team.

Dustin your lawyer expert was the only expert that has been able to help me on JustAnswer.com. He was quick with his answer and on point. He did everything in his power to make sure I was taken care of. People come here and pay good money because they want results. They don’t want answers that they can get off the internet themselves and that’s exactly what I got most of the time and sometimes I didn’t even get that much. I could find more on the internet myself. You need to give this man a raise to make sure you keep him in his position and not lose him to the competition. Would not voice type with any of my win 10 computers. Just Answer went to set up microphone. The computer started listening rather than not go beyond initialization. They fixed my problem. This is a general problem with the Windows 10 computers. I followed the setup instructions that Just Answer engineer gave me and my second computer worked. Kudos!!!

I lost control of my Amazon account to a hacker that hacked into my email account and faked being me to get control. Once control I had a hard time contacting fraud to help stop before things got worse. Simple stop all would have been nice. He did have a phone number that I could not find that was most helpful.

My truck was dead. Nothing. I reached out to Just Answer and they got me to Chong. He led me to the fuse box connection and that fixed the problem. Super-fast, super nice, super easy. The entire process took about 30 minutes and at minimal cost. The reality is I was stranded and needed help.

I was just trying to see what the service does. They wanted to charge $5 and said that was fully refundable in the chat. So, I paid it. They then sent me an email that the $5 fee was waived, but I was being charged $35 as I had previously been a member. I do not recall that at all, but it certainly is possible. The fact remains, I was authorizing a $5 not $35. I closed the chat and did not engage with service provider so I did not receive any services. Refund request was denied.

When shifting the handle it did nothing. RiopH walked me through where the cable is anchored and we found it was disconnected at the lever that locked the seat. After a reseating effort the seat then worked as intended. Had to take seat bolts out of front base of seat and fold up to get better idea of cable.

I came across Just Anwer.com looking for information about the taillights on my 2018 Ford EcoSport. I was put in contact with Ford mechanic, Patrick. Basically, I wanted to know if everything was working as it should. As a 70 year-old woman living alone, I wasn't sure what to do to find out, except by going to the Ford dealership, which meant a 50-mile round trip. Mechanic Patrick came up with a simple solution. Simply back up to a wall when it got dark (in my case, the closed garage door), and press the brakes. I should be able to see the glow of the brake lights if all was well. I did. Found that my lights are working just fine. Truly grateful for Mechanic Patrick's patience and kindness.

Car would not shift from Neutral to Reverse or Park. Agent accurately diagnosed my shifting problem, resulting in the replacement of the brake switch and keeping me from having to take the car to a transmission shop, where I could expect a large repair bill.

I was looking on line to see why certain lights were on in my car. Came across the website justanswer.com, starting looking into it and a chat box opened up asking what was wrong with my car. I answered the questions and agreed to pay a $5 fee to get answers to my car issue problem. Filled out the online form and was suddenly charged $39 + $5 sign up fee. This angered me as I saw nothing on the site stating I would be charged anything other than the $5 fee. The chat box person said it's the membership fee, something that I didn't ask for nor did I realize I was signing up to be a member. In any case, I asked for a refund, they declined to give a refund, gave a customer service number and ended the chat. I HIGHLY recommend that NO ONE use this site or you will be scammed by hidden fees that do not tell you about but charge your card way more money than you initially signed up for. SCAM COMPANY.

They charge you 70$ right when you sign up but the ad said only 2$ for signing up which is not true. There are no lawyers answering your question! There is an AI machine response and if this doesn't give you your answer (basically if you can not find it in google, it means the machine can not answer it either), then you lost your money. NO REFUND. AVOID getting scammed into this.

This finessed me into paying monthly recurring charges. I noticed it on my credit card. They ask for your number stating the small charge is refundable. LIES. Then you suddenly see a charge of $30. No transparency of any kind. I was told it was a ONE TIME FEE at any rate. THIS IS 100% A SCAM!!!

Dr. ** was very helpful. Our chameleon had stomatitis, we got assistance from Dr. **, and the infection cleared. Sadly, our chameleon died a couple weeks later. Dr. ** helped me understand the small intricacies of our habitat that could have been problematic for her. Through our conversation, I was able to find that the ceramic, non-light emitting heat source I used when the regular bulb burnt out was not providing the very bright light she needed and was very likely a cause of her passing, additionally, we had removed a depressing plant and put new bigger foliage in and that sudden change in habitat could have caused her additional stress. Dr. ** was thoughtful and kind, informative and friendly no matter how many questions I asked. When we are ready to get a new chameleon, I know better now how to ensure there will be no problem with the habitat that could cause stress and illness.

I came back from vacation and my car wouldn't start, even though the battery was nearly brand new. Charlie was meowing/growling and very uncomfortable with his bathroom habits. Just Answer helped confirm what we thought was his issue. We are giving him cranberry drops and monitoring his behavior. The advertising advice and costs are misleading. The company implies that the cost is $5 but actually it's $5 + 1 month membership ($60) and when you cancel you get charged both. The advice was totally generic and maybe even a chat bot!

I got told I would be charged $2, but I also got charged $40 per month for their subscriptions starting Dec 2023 to Feb 2023. However, there was never any confirmation or invoice sent to my email. I only found out they were charging me because I was checking my credit card history. I have already tried to ask refund from them, but they have said no because I already agreed to their terms and conditions somewhere on their website. When I asked them to send a copy of their terms to me, they said they couldn't and hung up my phone.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! THERE IS NO WAY THIS COMPANY IS A U.S. ENTITY WITH AMERICAN ETHICS!!! They may speak English, but they certainly do not understand it! The answers they give can be obtained by clicking on Wikipedia as well as other information on Google. And they charge for that! I figured I would give them the $43 for an answer from a real doctor. I can not prove whether or not it was a real medical doctor or not, but the generic answer I received was reason enough to complain and let the powers that be know that they are running a scam and that I wanted a refund. They said they could not refund the money because I already received an "answer."
And to add icing on the cake, I received another charge 30 days later and when I called them again they said they never received the original call to refund me for the bogus answer let alone a call to cancel so they kept my account up and running knowing I would be charged a second time. And now the person I talked to who sounds like she was from India said now she will make sure I don't get another charge. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

The mechanic was very knowledgeable and helpful. He pinpointed the problem area. However, the fix required an air compressor, which we did not have. So, at least we know the problem even if we couldn’t fix it. We will alternatively tape the problem area.

The vet, Dr. Noel ** advised me how to treat my cat for vomiting. She had been sick for about two days. She was not able to keep food or water down, and was scratching and grooming herself excessively. I was able to give her antacids and brushed her to help with itching. She was able to begin eating and became more active. In two days she was back to herself.

This site is a fraud. Don't offer to give them even $1. There's no answer and they send you a link to click then they charge you $46 for nothing. I did not click their bait but still got charged. Was sent an EM which I did not use, and they said I had been helped. Didn't do anything. They state they returned my monies taken but have not. The customer service rep is the same guy, and you can't understand him. I think it's a game to make you go away. For anyone thinking about using this site... RUN. You'll get ripped off.

I was pleased with the answers the doctor gave me. I've been trying to get my primary and my neurologist to find out for sure. It's the same when in my teens that periods STOPPED by 15. Pain was horrible. At the movie theater, unbuttoned my pants for the bathroom and couldn't get them back together. ER said I had some cysts burst, and blood was making me swell up. At least 10 surgeries on the abdomen with a complete hysterectomy at age 29.

Contacted because my dog was pooping blood and had also puked. She was not eating either. Veterinary that assisted me asked me a few questions in regards to diet, behavior and symptoms I was noticing. Told me what it could be still recommended to take my dog to the Veterinary but in the meantime I could give her Pepcid AC, don’t allow her to drink water or eat anything. It certainly worked, the blood pooping stopped.

I knew that the error code was for an Output Speed Sensor, but I could not find where it was located on my automatic transmission. Frank, from Just Answer was able to locate the sensor (it was internal to the transmission). I had looked at many YouTube videos and could not get a definite location for the sensor. Frank was able to tell me definitively that it was internal. At least now, I know that I need to find a transmission service center to get the sensor replaced.

I had no time to go to a walk-in clinic the other day so I thought I would try using an online doctor. I came across JustAnswer and saw how fast the service was. After speaking with the "Doctor's assistant", I was prompted to a page to pay a $1 fee. I paid the fee considering $1 wasn't an unreasonable price. I texted a doctor for 3 minutes and was told to go to the pharmacy and buy something off of the shelf. This was easily advice I could have gotten from a stranger on the side of the road.
Luckily, I checked my credit card statement the next day to see a pending $81 transaction from JustAnswer on my card. I was taken aback by this charge because nowhere on the signup page did it mention that there would be a membership associated with my account, in which I would have to pay a monthly fee of $80. I immediately spoke with many different customer service representatives to try and initiate a refund and they all gave me the same answer: "It was in our terms and conditions page... You had to sign terms and conditions before being able to pay... We are unable to do anything for you." This was a complete lie. Knowing I didn't have to sign any terms and conditions before paying, I used a couple of my friend's phones to test it out.
Not only did they not have to sign any terms or conditions, their pricing was different. For every new phone we tried, the pricing went down by $10 per month. This itself is a giant red flag and made me question the morals behind this company. After this, I contacted another customer service representative and asked to speak to their manager. I was told that within 30 minutes, a manager would call me back to speak to me about my concerns. I never got that call. Instead, I had to call my bank and issue a fraudulent purchase upon their behalf. This was a major inconvenience for me. Not only did I have to completely cancel my credit card, I wasted 3 hours of my time trying to fix this issue. For a company that's supposed to save people the wait time of walk-in clinics, they sure found somewhere else to waste it. I will never be using this website again and I strongly advise everyone against it.

I have a feral cat and kittens in my backyard which I hope to have trapped spayed/neutered soon. Mama cat drinking more water and there is diarrhea but not sure who has it. I had a legal question and did receive really good advice from the lawyer I was connected with. I gladly paid the 1st month's fee, but I forgot to cancel the subscription. I never used the service again, I never even logged onto the website again, but I continued to be charged. They never sent me a notice of upcoming charges or a receipt. I had some serious life issues going on and wasn't paying close attention to my bank statements so I didn't notice the charges until 4 months later! I contacted customer service to see if they could at least give me a partial refund, and they wouldn't work with me at all. They never sent me any type of indication that they were charging my account month after month.
I have had subscription services and auto billing from other companies and they usually send a notice of the amount that will be charged and the date it will be taken out of the account. This company profits off of people forgetting to cancel their subscription, that's why they never send a receipt or a notice of upcoming charges! They could easily see that I never used their service aside from the one question I asked. They have charged me for several months and I have received nothing. It would have been better for me to just consult with an expert directly instead of using this platform! I cannot recommend doing business with a company that profits off of people's forgetfulness. This is highly unethical.

I accidentally put chemical ear wax remover drops in my eye, no time to drive to urgent care. Online search took me to justanswer.com health. They ask you a series of questions such as what drugs do you take, stringing you along, while your condition is worsening damage being done to the eye by the stinging chemical, telling you the doctor’s assistant (a computer robot as it turns out), “will be right with you.” Another step reassures you “The Doctor can help. Just a couple quick questions before I transfer you.”
This continues until you have given them all your drug information (expect pop-up ads next week), and then it “transfers you” to a sales page where you have to type in your credit card number and other information and “join”. I don’t know if anything ever happens after they capture your credit card and you are passed out on the ground. If we had a real government instead of one now run completely by corporations, all such scammers would be in prison.

My foster, 12 yo Shih Tzu had a stroke (not her first). She suffers from other medical issues. She had stopped eating, couldn't take a step without falling over but primarily, I wanted her to eat in order to take her meds. The vet was very knowledgeable and provided tips that was very helpful. I have been surprised several times at the qualifications some of the respondents on JustAnswer.com have. I recently needed legal advice about a scam and credit card company. The attorney that responded was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered my questions till I was satisfied I had enough information to make decisions relating to our situation. It wasn't the good "you'll get away scott free" type of message but plenty of info was shared about my rights and the rights of the credit card company. I've been very satisfied with most answers to questions I ask.

When I got a phone number for Microsoft, I soon learned that it was impossible to speak on the phone with a real human being. The best I could do was engage in a chat, first with a robot, and then, presumably, with a human being. I was transferred three times on Sunday without resolution. On Monday, I spoke with two people, via Chat, from Microsoft, and then told I would be transferred to a technician. Little did I know that it wasn't someone from Microsoft, but from your company, for which I had to pay money. The good news is that when I finally was connected to Ren, he understood the problem and knew how to fix it. I couldn't respond earlier, because the next day, Tuesday, I lost my internet connection and have to wait until tomorrow for a Comcast technician to come to fix it. Fortunately, I can get internet service off of my T-Mobile cell phone. The joys of technology!!!

Issue: A restaurant/bar asked to "see my ID", as I was entering, then quickly ran it thru a scanner without asking or telling me. I couldn't get it back. Who knows where your full name, address, height, weight, Photo and license # will end up? This was not a "dive bar" btw. The next day I returned, conveying identity theft and privacy concerns to the owner, and asked for either the return of the copy of my ID to me, or the deletion of it from his system. He refused. Claimed he "keeps it 30 days then deletes it." Yeah, sure...he can do whatever he wants with it; so can the cooks, bussers, bartenders...no one regulates this! And, why does any restaurant/bar need to keep an image of your private ID for 30 days?! That's when I turned to a "Just Answer" attorney.
Apparently, businesses have the right to do this! I think we will see more of this, just to have dinner in a restaurant. Where are OUR rights? They are free to sell your private data and the image of your ID to anyone, including on the dark web. Then criminals are free to make fake IDs from it, sell it to identity thieves, etc... This is big business! Next time someone asks to "see" your ID, better ask if they plan to scan it. Unless you're at the DMV, airport, employer... you may want to refuse and go somewhere else. Once they copy it, you are at risk. Thank you Just Answer for advising me of the facts!

Cohl was able to help set up the scan connections via the phone as a file was missing on the computer to set up that way. He definitely did his due diligence to resolve the issue. He also assisted in setting up a second computer to be able to print and scan.

This was a difficult problem to diagnosis and resolve, however, the mechanic that I was assigned went above and beyond to try and locate a solution to the constant warning alarm issue. Unfortunately, the offered solution(s) didn’t fix the problem and may have made things worse if I was to remove a fuse to stop the alarm.

I received great advice on an ongoing noise problem with tenants above my condo. The lawyer was able to give me clear information about my rights and what I could do. We all have a right to live within our homes and have a peaceful existence. She suggested if it’s not cleared up by landlord within a reasonable time then I should reach out to the landlord and tenant's office.
