    As you can tell by the one star reviews and the boilerplate response (which this post will get), this company employs deceptive business practices to extract a subscription fee from customers. It was extremely unclear that I was agreeing to the subscription fee when getting a question answered. If this company wanted to be reputable, they would make it clear with a CLEAR message that you are agreeing to the subscription. It is buried. I usually don't fall for scams and extra fees but this smarmy one slipped by.

    The internal timer on my Hayward Aqua Plus saltwater system no longer is keeping time properly, so I thought maybe I could add an external timer.     The site is a scam, some professional Googler will Google an answer for you for $60. As far as a BBB (Better Business) rating, That too is a scam that will call every company in the phone book and they explain their rates, for $500 a year you'll get an A+ rating, $400 a year will get you an A rating and so on but that was 10 years ago when they called my business

    We did get an answer to our question, which was to talk to another lawyer. They also charged us $65 instead of the $5 advertised. When I contacted them, they said we were charged $5 for the service, and $60 for a monthly subscription, which we never signed up for. They did refund our money.

    Helpful but scam. They charge you a dollar refundable and a $34 monthly fee however if you cancel within 30 days no charge. My membership was canceled in 24 hours and they still billed my card $34. Then try and get customer service. The run around. Not worth the aggravation.

    This is a SCAM! Stay away from it. You're better off just googling or researching on YouTube or calling your appliance store directly. They are not transparent about the cost "membership", I thought I was contacting the actual WOLF company since that is the link I clicked on "talk to a WOLF service provider". I was dumb to put my credit card info in. Don't make the same mistake I did.

    Scam. They will advertise you only have to pay $5 to get a Q/A for lawyers. But what they don't tell you is that you are going to be charged a membership fee. Then they won't refund you your money when you call and ask for it to be returned because you never consented. SCAM SCAM DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT ALL WITH THESE THIEVES.     This is most stupid and incompetent website I have ever dealt with. First they scammed me out of a $20.00 membership fee which I never requested. Then after fighting for a refund which at first was refused then finally given, they will not answer the question I asked for the $5.00 fee nor give me a refund for that since they won't answer the question. Every time I ask about it they send me the same reply that my membership has been canceled and $20.00 refunded. Idiots!! Stay far away from these stupid scammers.

    This should not be a business. I admit I don’t have a lot of money right now so when my dog got sick and I couldn’t fix him I became vulnerable to anybody who could help me…and found JustAnswer. I’m crying online with what turns out to be a robot. They are brilliant with the way they have a robot talk to you; literally flawless up until they just transfer you to a “veterinarian” while you’re still crying. I thought I was talking to a vet but apparently it was a robot receptionist.

    Yes , I subscribed and agreed to the fine details in small print that I couldn’t even see through all my tears. I did it because they said they have vet services and they portray a story where you can save money by subscribing and have 24/7 answers etc. What a deal since I don’t have a job and that’s about all the money I had. If I had more I’d have gone to an emergency animal facility. I was desperate. This was my bad judgement. Eventually a “vet” greeted me and now I’m convinced she was not real either. Regardless I was told I need to take my dog to a vet. ???

    I have tried contacting them and my only option is through chat. I’ve been up all night chatting with reception robots and even supervisor robots who replied to a text within seconds, a very detailed explanation stating they won’t refund me, I knew what I signed up for and they serviced me therefore nothing will be refunded. Do not use this company. If there is any way they are legit, the only compassion provided is from a robot. I want a full refund. $40 is a lot to someone who does not have it and now cannot go to a real vet.

    It's a scam. They say on the website that you can ask a question for $2. You pay the $2 and then you have to pay for a subscription which is cancelable. HOWEVER, when you go to cancel it, they will cancel but will not refund your money if you cancel the same day. $2 to answer a question is fine but unless you plan on using the service on a continual basis, it's a rip off. Strongly recommend you do not use.

    I used this service to ask a plumbing question. This company advertises that it will only cost $5 to ask a question. I waited a long time -no response. They said they could answer the next day but that is when the plumber was coming! I said, "No. I just want a refund of my $5 for one question." They said they processed it. I am being charged for nothing. I am being charged $30! I never consented to an additional $30. I have since cancelled my alleged membership and was told by Jeff (have email) it was cancelled! Is this company is running a scam? Judging by the numerous similar complaints, could they need to be sued for unethical billing practices?

    My problem is I use the $5 trial for 7 days option offer. I agreed to a $26 phone call. I agreed to the $5 trial. I did not agree that later for $39 to be billed to my account.     I was desperate for help with my dog. As it was Sunday the vet was closed. I could not lift his 91 lb body to take him to emergency. The doctor strongly suggested that he probably ate something weird and he would be okay. He died the next day. Needless to say I may not have read the fine print in the state I was in but I never received any email confirmation of my new “membership.” They refused to refund my money. Cost me $75+ for bad advice. I would not recommend this service.

    I needed a question answered and was told that I could get that if I provided a $5 payment. Seemed like a good idea at the time, however I never was told that I had to discontinue anything, and they used that credit card to continually charge my account $60 a month since August. We caught this today and were very surprised by this. I contacted JustAnswer.com and got in touch with a Supervisor who proceeded to tell me that there was nothing he could do and abruptly terminated the chat. I don't understand how companies can take advantage of people in this manner. I would like a helpful resolution, as I'm hoping that this company isn't like those who are tricking people out of hard earned money. I never used it since that one day, it isn't right to take $60 a month when you know people aren't using your product or even know that they are paying.

But in the fine print of the agreement, they include language that you will continue to get billed monthly unless you act to cancel your membership. I was charged 7 times before I caught it.     I clicked a link for a seven-day free trial to JustAnswer.com. The tech I got to help with the problem on my computer spent two hours doing everything but fixing it. I finally sent him a text telling him just to fix the problem. None of the other things he was looking at were improved in any way. He simply wasted my time. The initial issue was finally fixed, which took about 5 minutes. Reinforcing the fact that he wasted my time with all of his messing around. I canceled my membership on day 7, but JustAnswer had already charged my card on day 4. Because they charged my card, they said I wasn't on a free trial and would not give me my money back.

    The customer service agent then cut me off before I could respond to their last statement about me not being on a free trial. The company did not honor the 7-day free trial. My bank won't let me dispute the charge because they charged my card before I canceled. I'm out $55 for getting my time wasted and then being disregarded. Not a good company.

    Updated on 01/05/2024: This company says that they issued a $65 refund but I have yet to receive it. I don’t know where the issue lies, with JustAnswer or PayPal, but in either case I must continue to say that I believe that this company is a scam. They immediately charged me $65 even though they clearly advertised a $5 initial charge on their website and when I spoke with a support person to get the refund she argued with me until I threatened to make a report on online and then she finally agreed to give the refund. I was never able to get a simple yes or no answer from an attorney to answer to my simple question.

    The attorney they assigned me to clearly did not read my simple question and he then never responded when I tried to make my question even easier to understand. Just no response at all, leaving me hanging. Also, the chat feature on their website is merely computer generated, even though it gives you a name of a female person who you think you are communicating with. From what I have now seen online, it looks like this company hires lawyers to do independent contracting services with them, so any kind of loser lawyer can use their company. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. I will never fall for a scam like this again.

They advertise on their website that to communicate with one of their attorneys is $5 and if you want to continue with a membership, there would be a monthly fee of $65. They immediately charged me $65 and tried to convince me that the $65 charge was valid. I finally threatened them telling them that they are a scam and they kept trying to tell me that I owed $65 until I told them that they were a scam. They claim they will refund my money within 5-7 working days.

    Called Microsoft for computer lock out issue. They transferred me to an expert & I wasn't aware the expert worked for a different company (JustAnswer). I didn't realize it until I saw my bank statement that evening with a charge of $49.00 for the service. I definitely will not use the service again for any questions. They did indeed answer my question & I was very happy with that, but I did not authorize the transfer nor was I made aware there would be a charge. I immediately canceled my account with JustAnswer (which was set up 2 yrs ago when I had a similar incident with Social Security and didn't cancel it at that time) but I am very unhappy about the $49 charge. I would have used a different company that would not charge me if I had known about it.

    Site advertises get an answer to a question - in my case trying to get a valuation of a painting I own - for $5. Unbeknownst to me they also charged me a $65 membership fee. This is a monthly charge that will continue until you cancel. Sadly the "expert" they paired me with had no knowledge of the type of painting I had and ended up vastly undervaluing it. He didn't do any research to find the answer, just took a guess. Deceptive and not worth the money.

    I was forwarded from T-mobile to Just Answer for service. I was told there would be a $1 fully refundable charge. Ok, no big deal. But I was not told that I was going to be a $46 monthly charge to my account starting immediately. By the time I realized this was going on I had already been billed a second time. No email that this was happening, no notification at all. They thrive on staying out of sight. How many questions can you really have that is worth $50 every month!!! Besides the service provided was worthless. I ended up calling T-mobile back and speaking to someone that resolved my issue. I'm equally disappointed with T-mobile for transferring me to this worthless scam service. I would have been fine with it if they were paying for it. But, no, I get hung with it. In summary, hang up if you find yourself talking to JustAnswer. Likewise tell your friends and neighbors the same. I wonder if telesupport agents get paid to redirect these calls?

    I was not only overcharged by this business for a fee on their website, which was also an incredibly deceptive and awful marketing scheme. Their online chat says that you pay a $1 fee plus a $55 membership fee, which is still under $60. When you pay on their regular online page for legal advice, it is $5 plus a $45 membership fee. Somehow I was charged a $60 membership fee PLUS the $5, which is not stated anywhere. In addition, the answer to my question was generic, not helpful, and quite literally reiterated what I was told by my apartment complex regarding how to handle the situation that I was dealing with. The website says specifically that you are entitled to a refund if you are not satisfied with the answer from the lawyer, and yet I am still not being offered a refund. Their website is deceptive and they are not following through with the exact information that they note on their website.

    A sudden termination of daily sent information happened, and continued for several days. After contacting JustAnswer.com for assistance, the information reappeared. As a co-incidence, the software was slated for update. The update was not linked to any problems with software, but a regular update. I elected to use the new software as it preserved the means to capture and preserve relevant information of potential or current interest. I respect JustAnswer's expertise and willingness to provide new solutions (which would complicate integrating with already saved information methods).

    IF the software that had a shortcoming was not resolved (as it was with the software update), I would have been more anxious to use JustAnswer's expertise in resolving the problem, and from what I saw, JustAnswer had ample expertise to do so although it might have meant complications with how information was captured on a daily basis and then sent to specific files.

    I truly respect JustAnswer's enthusiasm and expertise, but felt that the corrections found in the new software update were more compatible with years of filed information. It was also a consideration that an 81 year old retired scientist was not quite ready to not only have JustAnswer's solution installed, but also redefine how the new information on JustAnswer's software solution and the old information could be reorganized painlessly. I have full confidence that JustAnswer could find a solution IF the software update had not been forwarded at the same time that I had contacted JustAnswer. I apologize for consuming the amount of time that JustAnswer had spent on looking for a solution.

    This is one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with a company. I joined to ask medical questions while waiting for an appointment in Canada. Due to an issue receiving email from them in my one email account, I used a separate one to ask follow up questions, but used the same phone number to ensure it was the same account. I was told I was speaking to experts, but on further digging was informed by the medical 'experts' they were General Practitioners or doctors from other areas. They offered blanket and quite frankly dangerous advice that was beyond irresponsible. I cancelled my membership.

    I followed up on the cancellation. The automated message, told my membership was confirmed as cancelled and not to worry. I caught several cc billings and called again. I was promised I was cancelled and refunded the charges. Today I noted more charges and called. The automated message told me my membership was canceled and no more charges would occur. I persisted and was told that because I had used two different email addresses the billing had continued and no refund would be provided. Several hundred dollars in over billing. Then I was told no supervisors were available, nothing could be done and was disconnected on. I must confess to total frustration at this point. It is one of the most irresponsible, websites I've ever seen and incredibly dangerous to use for medical purposes.

    I tried to connect online with my doorbell manufacturer "Nutone" for technical assistance on installation of a high tech doorbell. While on their website, somehow I was connected with JustAnswer.com. I thought it was Nutone's way of chatting with a specialist. They wanted $5 for the service. I figured that was normal, as my doorbell was no longer under warranty. I was connected to a supposed "Specialist". We chatted for about an hour. I had to explain over and over what the issue was. This guy was just not getting it. He was an idiot. I was thinking...'How can a company employ an idiot like this???'.

    While I was talking with him (actually, waiting for him to try to figure out what to say next), I was muti-tasking and reading my emails. Lo and behold, I got an email from JustAnswer.com thanking me for joining and, in an area that you wouldn't normally read, stated that I was charged my $5 and that I was charged an ADDITIONAL $40 for the membership AND I would be automatically charged another $40 MONTHLY off of my credit card that I used to pay the $5. This is a SCAM, people. Don't do it. I immediately went online to their membership page and canceled my membership. I then went online and found that they had ALREADY charged me $40 for a month membership. I'm contesting it with my credit card company, but I have to wait until the charge is no longer "Pending" and then call them again.

    All I wanted was an answer to my question...not a membership to a bunch of idiots that can't spell their own names without help. I then, carefully, found the telephone number to Nutone, reached their customer service desk and had my question answered in less than TWO MINUTES...AND they sent me a copy of the installation instructions for my product...FOR FREE. When you have a question on your product, go to your manufacturer...not these idiots. But, make sure you are not bamboozled into thinking you're talking to the manufacturer when you are really not...and getting charged out the ** for it!

    My 12-year-old cat that lives mostly outside got a scare from the recent hurricane and came back with a limp and his tail between his legs.     I was told that I could get an answer to a legal question for $5. I agreed and paid it, gladly. Then, I get a call from my debit card fraud prevention department stating that they had charged the $5, and then charged me $60. I immediately cancelled my card, and contacted the company. I had not even been a "member" for 5 minutes and I told them that nowhere did I see that there would be a $60 membership charge and that I wanted the membership cancelled and the money refunded or released. They agreed after some argument, but when I got the email saying it was cancelled, nowhere was there anything about a refund.

    I then called their "Customer care" number where the young lady insisted that they didn't care about anything I said, I was going to be charged either way and they cancelled the membership. That means that they charged me a bulls*$t charge and then refused to refund me AND cancelled the so called membership that I didn't ask for. Terrible company, terrible customer service.

    On May 23, 2023, I asked a question about Windows 11, thinking it would be answered for a small fee, $5 I think it was. $220.00 later I noticed they were debiting my bank account $55 a month. I contacted customer service and they tried to tell me I was informed of what I was signing up for, which is NOT true. Before I got a chance to argue the point, they ended the chat and cancelled my account to keep me from logging back into the chat session. I'm glad they canceled my forced membership, but they owe me $220. Beware if you have any dealings with this company.

    I went to the website of JustAnswer.com and ask a simple question about a lawnmower I was repairing. I was told the cost would be $5. No big deal. I WAS NOT TOLD that I would be charged a $39 monthly fee and since they had my credit card number I was charged 3 months in a row (June, July and August) a total of $117. When I finally noticed these charges I called the number listed for them on the credit card charge and explained to the foreign sounding service rep that I felt I should be reimbursed since it was not explained clearly when I asked my question that I would be charged continually. She kept saying she understood my frustration but unfortunately she couldn't issue a refund but would cancel my membership (a membership I didn't even know existed). So I'll just say DON'T BE SCAMMED BY THESE UNETHICAL PEOPLE! If they were legit, they would cheerfully refund my money.

Even though it was a new valve when water still comes out after you've closed your faucet, it's usually a sign of an issue with the cartridge.     My dog had just had major surgery (for a flipped stomach) but was now home after 2 nights with the vet. He began panting and breathing hard and fast at rest and it was after hours.     In speaking with Quinn we were able to trace the problem of no power to the ignition switch. Turned out to be a 15 amp helm fuse on the engine that I had previously checked and there was power at the fuse both terminals with a test light but for some reason wasn’t passing power.
