I was charged $1.00 to talk to someone and I do not want any service or monthly fee coming out of my account. CANCEL this immediately on my credit card and I will notify my bank about this also. They said I had to pay this as one time fee and would get it back. I got an email that said I just joined a monthly I don't know what for $60.00 each month. This is fraud as I did not order or want this. I am tired of scams. I just found out what I ordered. I will not get as the company you are contracted with is scamming the customers.

My 10yr old little dog was bleeding from his eye after an altercation and all the vets in our area don’t have emergencies calls and the one that did wouldn’t answer. I spoke to Ms. ** on the phone and she was very helpful and even tried to send me pictures of what to buy and try and ice pack to help. It helped until I could get him in the morning to the vet. It’s still a waiting game to see but the vet said that what we did helped. We have a follow up on Friday to see if the eye is saved or if will need surgery which she feels is risky due to his age. I even got a text the next day checking on George from Ms. **.

Paid my money, got a call from the technician, he said he was the wrong guy and transferred me to someone else. No one ever picked up the phone. My problem has not been solved, I have no way of contacting the correct person, and I am not going to pay more money for this service. Please get someone to call me immediately. I'm getting fed up with GMC.

At 7 PM, my daughter and I discovered that we both gave the dog her 6PM evening dose of ** 100mg. I went online to see if this would be harmful to my dog. When I found this site called JustAnswer.com. I asked the question and a veterinarian Dr was able to give me facts about the medicine and what symptoms to watch out for. This was very helpful. I appreciate having a qualified veterinarian to consult.

My 14 yr old pit bull Jade had an abdominal ultrasound in early October that showed possible splenic cancer. I was concerned about the diagnosis and her presenting signs and symptoms. I was educated on the prescribed medications my pet was given and advised to request a repeat US ABD & CXRY to see progression of tumor or evidence of metastatic disease. Dr. ** was very knowledgeable and compassionate. I feel I was looking for some reassurance on the plan of treatment Jade's personal vet and I have agreed upon and some guidance on how to proceed. Which Dr. ** provided. I would definitely use JustAnswer again.

I messed up when ordering business cards. I transposed my billing address with my shipping address. The tech helped me very accurately find all the buttons I needed to press. In seeking advice the Attorney was very helpful and understood the frustrations of being a consumer fighting injustice from Tesla Solar damages to the roof. He did give directions of possible avenues to take. A very professional attorney. If he wasn’t on the other side of the country I’d definitely consider hiring him for 1/3 of the winnings if we’d win.

After donating money, small amounts to Republican committee, the text messages were coming in easily 25 a day wanting more asking questions making like they needed my answers, but in order for me to send it, I had to also indicate how much I was sending in money I Became so overwhelmed. I decided to contact consumer affairs and by the grace of God they told me what to do and this is day two and a few stragglers are coming in, but I take care of them and I am so relieved my attorney‘s name with Alex . He was amazing. Didn’t make me feel incompetent. Perfect in every way. Reach out to consumer affairs you’ll be glad you did.

Never was able to fix the issue just gave me more numbers to call. Today will notify Apple of the issue with the app and my card was notified. I want my money refunded as stated that it would be if not able to help. I did everything he asked, to no avail. Was said to go to dealership. The app said $5 was charged $46, it also said will be refunded if not able to help.

My phone rang and I was put on music hold. I rushed my dog to emergency and she passed without ever speaking to anyone. I got a text after I said my dog was dying and they texted to take to emergency. I had already done that and she passed but I still get charged a monthly membership fee I did not realize I was signing up for.

I was referred to this site by the social security representative I talked to today. She connected me to the site and told me for $5 I could post my question and have an attorney call me back with help. No one ever told me about the $55 I would automatically have taken out of my account for talking with the attorney I never authorized that transaction, all I authorized was the $5 charge disclosed at the beginning. Is this a scam? I want to cancel any type of subscription this is, I never signed up for. This was something I got connected too by social security and I did not sign any agreement. I want the $55 returned and cancellation on any subscription you may have made under my name. Thank you.

So I have 2 cats. One is 2 years old and the other a little over 7 months old. My older cat has been having a litter problem for over a month now. She had been urinating on my bed, my clothes and anywhere and anything that smelled like me. I had a feeling it could be something territorial but wasn't 100% sure. I was avoiding the vet because just to be seen can easily cost $100 bucks and that's not including the prescription or solution to your problem! So I googled my cats' symptoms and how to treat it and ran into Just Answer!
I was unsure how it would all roll out be honest and was afraid of paying the $40 bucks for subscribing. After being helped by one of the veterinarians whom was excellent and very knowledgeable she explained exactly what was going on with my cat confirming my suspicions and gave me the solution all within 15 mins of my time! Not only that but she also recommended nearby places where I can take my cat to get spayed for a very reasonable price! I am highly satisfied with the service and appreciate the fact that it didn't break the bank! Will recommend!

I'm amazed at how detailed experts are willing to get in helping get something fixed. It does take a bit back and forth in the chat but it is also documented for future reference. My control panel was non responsive so I I checked the power source. I then held the control lock button for three seconds and no response. I repeated the steps just to make sure, no response. I did not want to call American Home Shield, so I went to the website in the manual and did the online chat and they connected me to Just Answer. The service was great! He asked for the model number and the problem. I told him what I had done, then he said to unplug the washer which I did. Once the washer was replugged the control panel lit up and I chose my wash cycle. The clothes are washing as I’m typing this review. I wish I had known of this service before. I would have saved money on AHS service calls. Thank you, LUF

I was very distressed, my dog was going to die. I rescued two from their mother when they were only one month old. So they’re my babies. My grandchildren were over and playing with silly putty and Bug took some from the table. I did see him do it. I was very concerned. And searched it online right away. It said it was very Toxic for animals and might require surgery. 5 minutes later he fell to the ground. I right away went online with a veterinarian and they recommended something for my Bug. The tech couldn’t help me other than giving me a phone number for Groupon and when I called, the recorded message said NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The tech did all he could to help me. I have been a customer with Groupon and have spent hundreds of dollars with a company through them for canvases for me and others.

First "expert" was via chat. Second expert was via call back to me and kept getting disconnected. Now I get ads and multiple calls with voice announcements. You have not solved my problem yet and I have spent time on texting and telephone calls. I thought this would be a simple problem to solve. The doctor was very helpful in addressing my concern about possible Cushing disease (high ALP on a CBC test) in my 10 year old dachshund. I am definitely downloading the app and using the service next time I have an issue that needs to be addressed. I love my local vet, but the office is not always open. Today the office was closed for lunch and I had a question that I felt was urgent because my dog ingested something he shouldn’t have in a large quantity. The Veterinary doctor called me within two minutes of me typing my request. He was kind and compassionate. He also encouraged follow up from me so he could further assist if needed. This is such an easy service to use and I will definitely be using it again. I have four pets in my home, so I’m excited to have a service like this available.

My St. Bernard was having issues with his paws and was walking extremely tender-footed. The veterinarian I spoke with gave me several solutions and helped find a way to help my big boy become comfortable. The doctor also recommended several items that were cost effective and all natural that we could try as well. I would highly recommend this app and appreciate the prompt response for our fur baby.

After exploring several options and ruling them out, he advised I locate a local business that rents musical instruments as it is most likely a physical issue inside my keyboard that someone would be familiar with. He was very patient as we explored several possibilities. He was careful to have me not try to try to proceed further where I might injure the keyboard.

The service engineer who answered the call said that I probably just need to wait 15 minutes or so and the car may start up. He also said that the 12V battery may need charging. The car did start up after 15 minutes and my service shop tested the battery with a volt meter and it was 12.6V. This car does charge up well as I drive.

Was very skeptical at first but after talking with Judah, he started to look at the problem from a whole different perspective. I was told by my "expert" that my brake booster was bad. After reading on the J.A. website that another expert of 30+ years say it was the master cylinder. Took it to a mechanic. It was the ABS module. I would have been over $2000 in charges by the time all was figured out. I feel like I got ripped off.

I was directed by JustAnswer to have a technician assist me with my issue and the cost would be $5. (Photo on hand to verify if need be) I was billed $45 and c. Card was charged $45.00. The agent was very helpful, patient, and tried every possible thing he could think of to help solve the problem. Despite all his efforts the problem wasn’t fixed, but he did give me numbers to further the research. He gets an A for his customer service!!

We worked step by step through every possible way to reset and fix the Aquastat. Kim was right, it was a faulty Aquastat. He convinced me to order another new one and that did the trick. The new one worked. He gave me the confidence to be able to say the original replacement aquastat did not work and get my money back.

I was looking for help with my book trying to get on the website and your site popped up. Every time I tried to get on this popped up I was getting frustrated, so I sent them back asking them how much it was I was told a dollar. I put my credit card information in to cover the dollar BIG MISTAKE. When I checked my account this am I had a payment for $55 from Just Answer....how ironic you did nothing to Just Answer but, passing me from one "tech" to another. I canceled immediately. I was told if I canceled that was it! I have no intention of giving you this scam money..I got nothing usable AT ALL. They did nothing to help me, it actually made me upset and frustrated.

I had a question about a rash on my dog and the vet gave me the exact answer that I found by doing a search on Google and then told me he could not prescribe any medication online that I need to see a vet. This was my understanding of this service so I recommend you save your money, do a google search and find a real vet that can help you. This was a waste of time and money!

My oven and entire digital PC board went out completely. JustAnswer talked me through the whole process and today I replaced the board and have a new oven. Awesome! Thanks for your service. If I had of called a repair man it would have cost me over $600. The board with tax and everything cost me $350. The repair was really quite easy. I just had to have patience. Andy was very helpful with my questions about trying to get my QR code from the 3rd party with Amazon. I was not able to get the answer that we needed in order to return my product, but he did tell me that maybe I can just try to send the product via the post office with just the authorization return without the QR code. He thought that might work when I suggested it. I did get to send a note to the 3rd party and they said they will contact me by Dec 7th. If not to contact them at Amazon again.

YouTube and other apps after reset would load and not play. Your service had me unplug the TV. That fixed it. I should have known to do that myself. The charge was listed as one dollar. I was unable to delete the item (it continued to remain until the total was deleted by a kind woman on JustAnswer). I have 2 Bernese Mtn Dogs, and when giving them their monthly chewable meds (**), my chunky boy gobbled up both doses when my picky boy dropped his out of his mouth. I paid 5$ for a phonecall for no reason. I was typing and hung up the moment they called me in accident. They messaged me asking when is the best time to call. I said I hung up in accident and they can call rne and they never called or texted again. I'm not worried about any of that. I moved forward with other means. The keyless entry light on the dash was blinking and there was a beeping sound at the same time. I was told to disconnect the battery but it didn't stop the beeping sound and when I reconnected the battery the light was still blinking. Turns out the beeping sound was the garage door because the power had been turned off :-) - My mistake. Still don't know why the warning light is still flashing. Will take it to the dealer.

After contacting Amazon, I was told to contact carrier, which was UPS. I did and was told if I wanted get my order delivered I needed to contact Amazon. The attorney, Brandon, gave me clear and concise answers to help the situation I am dealing with, with an insurance company. He put in writing who I can contact, their contact information like email, phone number, etc if I am not able to resolve it directly. With the info he provided me, I was able to call the insurance company back, knowing my legal rights, and I got much better results. It is not entirely resolved, but it is going in that direction. A big thank you to Brandon. The $47 charge to contact a real attorney was worth every penny. In addition, I have used this site in the past for medical situations with my dogs, able to speak to a real veterinarian, and that was so helpful as well. So there are a lot of different kinds of experts on this app.

I was told to speak with someone it would cost me $1.00 which would be refunded. I was totally surprised when I checked my bank account and found a charge for $48 dollars and I had it figured out before he came on the line. I did not want to be rude and just hang up. I had a thermostat with no manual and I couldn’t change the temperature. I didn’t know about Just Ask, but it popped up while trying to search for an answer. We had been struggling to find answers and proper treatment for weeks. Many office visits, fecal testing and short treatments plans left us scrambling to keep him alive and fed. I was looking for a source to troubleshoot my wall oven temperature issue. Didn’t want to go the rabbit hole of calling for a service tech. I performed my own temp time test on both top and bottom ovens. I came away with some theories but didn’t want the cost of a service tech. In my conversation with Dakota one of my probable causes was eliminated. The takeaway of our conversation was the control board is the issue. My next task is locating a control board for a Whirlpool double oven that’s 14 years old. I much prefer this task than blindly go down the “house call” rabbit hole!

No one should ever under any circumstances give this company their credit card number. They make it appear like they will charge you one dollar. What really happens is they charge one dollar PLUS forty dollars for an answer PLUS they sign up you to pay $60 a month membership AND they have no phone number to call and cancel. JustAnswer is borderline scamming people. As others have stated, there is NOTHING about a membership fee. When I authorized a $5 charge, a $38 additional charge came through. Chatbox, when questioned, responded that it was a membership fee. Again, at NO POINT AND TIME was there anything about a membership fee. For people that are not notified immediately on charges, they will be surprised when they get their credit card statement. I called and got a representative that read off a script that they apparently came up with because this is such a frequent problem. I told representative I would report it to the BBB, my lawyer, and my credit card company.
Membership fee is in the process of being refunded, and that's great, but this appears to be an ongoing issue based on all of the reviews on multiple sites online, including this one. JUSTANSWER, DO BETTER. STOP TAKING PEOPLE'S HARD EARNED MONEY FOR MEMBERSHIPS THAT YOU DO NOT ADVISE OF PRIOR TO TAKING THE MONEY. I authorized $5, that was it. It wasn't just me, again, if there's all these reviews stating experiences exactly like mine. Do business the right way. I'll be watching for my refund, and if it does not process in the next week, I'll pass it on to the BBB, my credit card company, and my lawyer. DECEPTIVE to say the least.

They should have told me they don’t prescribe meds before taking my money when I clearly asked if they prescribed medications when I first contacted them. Then the dr came on and then he told me they don’t prescribe meds but I already sent my money through PayPal. Very unfair, and misleading. I won’t use them again for sure!

My 13 year old lab came up lame Saturday afternoon. He’s been in a tremendous amount of pain. Impossible to get him in a car. Within 5 minutes I was speaking with Dr. ** DVM…. Technician was very competent. After reviewing the facts with me, he suggested the right solution the first time around. I was able to replace the defective fuse and get on the road within 15 minutes!! Otherwise, I would have had to wait for a tow, and pay a huge repair bill at a garage. Didn't even get dirty!

I ran into a problem with password and my account status for my very...."legacy" Microsoft account. The tech expert actually knew what the problem was! It's old enough that security features that it was eligible for... years ago and have been long since phased out for newer accounts were still active on mine, and that was causing issues. We got the account unlocked, I reset the password and "updated" some security features, and off to the races.

The tech told me the trick to removing a blocked bolt. I had the engine swapped out in about 45 minutes with his help and experience. He even explained how to re assemble the gear case that had to be removed. I would never have done that job without his assistance.

I tried JustAnswer, then noticed that a membership had been started? I had asked how the process worked prior to submitting my question, and the chat bot reported back that it was easy, just pay $5 then submit your question. A second later a credit card box pops up for the $5 (supposedly), you check a box and your question is submitted. They don't tell you about the requirement to be a member before a question can be posted, or make it obvious about them starting a monthly reoccurring membership, the information is in tiny letters beyond the check off box below the credit card dialog box. I contacted their customer service quickly, before receiving any answer to my question, and they started a full refund. The customer service refuses to discuss the chat box topic and they are quick to show you a link to a larger version of the fine print, then hide behind the idea that it is your fault for posing the question.
There are many different sites with complaints about the surprise membership, but they continue on with the practice. I know I tried to let them know, just in case it was a mistake, but they refused the feedback and they defaulted back to their generic response about you posting the question, like they did nothing wrong. They do not address the topic at all on any responses or posts, and they skip over how the chat is misleading people right before they collect money. They programmed their chat to avoid the membership questions also. They ask for additional details quite often on forums like this when it's not necessary. They don't need to review any accounts or customer information in most cases, they need to provide all the information in an obvious manner prior to collecting money. They should have the chat inform consumers of a need for a membership prior to posting the first question.
If they were interested in improving, they would accept feedback and not dance around the topic of possibly misleading people, but they don't. The deception is occurring right before they collect your credit card information. Let see if they do the normal deflection about needing more information, or the one about "you posted the question", then continue ignoring what some consumers are trying to tell them.

I used the service today for issues I'm having with my BMW. The man on the phone was okay but never resolved my issues and knew about as much as I do not being a mechanic myself. I was okay with the $5 charge but not the $30 charge for the membership right after. No real people to talk to, just the useless chatbot. Save your money and just go online and find a FREE solution and save yourself the time and effort.

Confirmed what I thought. Bad car battery. Advised to call my AAA COMPANY which gave me free battery charge but old battery was dead the next morning. I tried to diagnose my stove not heating on any setting (convection, bake, broil). I could hear relay engage when the controls were entered. My diagnosis started with checking voltage to distribution block on back of stove, physical inspection of upper/lower bake elements, checking continuity of both bake elements, unplugging stove and checking continuity of fuse, checking resistance of temp probe at room temp , checking voltage to bake elements once bake or broil selected (120v), check functionality of door sensor.
Seemed like I couldn’t find anything faulty except the control board but I was hesitant to purchase about a $300 item without knowing much about stoves. The on the phone service tech was quick, accurate and confident with diagnosis and verified the bake elements should have 120v at all times then 240v once bake/broil selected. Confirmed faulty control board. He supplied me a part number and link. I installed the part and now have full functions.

Rude and never received any type of help. I spent three hours telling this supposed doctor how my dog was acting what happened that I knew of and she kept asking me the same type question over and over well my poor dog was suffering. My initial conversation with the first contact person with great today. The follow up with the next bit with very pleasant, but I will never ever use this site again.

They were able to walk me through increasing the sensitivity of the sustain pedal. It not working unless you mashed it to the floor. We went into the menu and he was able to show me how to set up the pedal sensitivity up and not require as much pressure.

When I replaced the filter, the ice maker would not work. No water was getting into the ice maker. I tried to read my fridge manual, but I could not get the water to go to the trays. I tried to unplug the refrigerator to restart the system but I got no response. After talking to the technician I took the filter out & reinstalled it back in. My turn signals were blowing fuse 22 when I applied the brakes intermittently. So Pete pulled the wiring diagram and traced the short to the turn signal switch. I just had a question and automatically I get $46 out of my account for a monthly charge. I saw the statement first I was being charged a $1 fee that was refundable. This is all so bogus. My bank had to issue me a new card to stop this. Once the charge is done being posted on my bank account then Visa will get it refunded. Your site is very misleading. This company takes advantage of people, especially non-tech savvy elderly people. My father bought a new fridge and had some issues after it was delivered. In an attempt to resolve on his own, he googled and came across Justanswer. He asked his question and received an answer but unbeknownst to him, was signed up for a monthly account and has been charged over $200 in reoccurring charges before it was caught by another family member. When contacted, justanswer, refunded one month of $47. Refused to refund anything else.

I got a good amount of help from Amir for a weird car part repair. Very useful information. I didn't even know a car has that kind of sensor. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Amir texted my phone as well as used the online chat. I have used the service multiple times for my two Volkswagens.

Suddenly my AOL started doing strange things - most notable to me was that it no longer showed me my messages “SENT.” I didn’t realize how much I used that until I couldn’t. I contacted JustAnswer and they did remedy the problem! Thank you SO much. You may, however, be hearing from me tomorrow because just now I find I have lost a few incoming emails I know I did have and now they’re gone. I’ll look forward to your excellent response to fix it!!

I’d discovered recently that my previous employer had been underpaid me. I was worried that I’ve exceeded the time required limit, unaware of my rights and what options I have had. I was trying to update my social security account and they transferred me to you, said there would be a $5.00 charge but it would be refunded. All of a sudden I saw you had charged a 5.00 fee plus a 50.00 fee. I have no idea why SS transferred me to you when all I needed to do was update my account. Why should I have to pay to change my address on a SS account that everyone was forced to set up several years ago.

I am 71 years old I was fooled into think I was speaking to Amazon directly. I’m afraid that I gave you information such as my account number with represented or on your part that you were Amazon I request $35 to be returned immediately. I will let all my senior groups know that your company is not upfront with people trying to get information. I am very disappointed.

I reached out to get advise about my marriage situation and all it did was take my money and say it couldn’t help me assuming I’m **. Didn’t even let me say I’m an American. Blocked me out their system. Worse part is, that I explained even before the text message that I wanted to be contacted via e-mail or WhatsApp to avoid the international fees and the dumb bot texted me anyways then the “lawyer” which I think is a bot as well could speak to me out of that platform. This is a scam.

The help I received was great! Technician listened to my problem, and offered clear detailed steps for me to take to resolve it, since he had tried to resolve it himself, but was unable to do so, in the end, before I could take the necessary steps, I discovered my problem had resolved!!! It had to have been resolved due to the work of my technician!!!

I had been searching for a vet whom could help me with my dog's left ear. And I was absolutely blown away with Just Ask. From the first person that text me and then the vet called me wow. She was so kind and understanding. We called for questions about our 8 wk old Labrador puppy. I got wonderful advice on crate training our new puppy at night. An appraiser… I was told if I can get five for it that’s good. I’m really happy with the appraisal you gave me. I think I can deal with this. I’d like to sell it too praise me two to $4000 for my carpet.. and I don’t really much like the carpet myself personally so I’d like to sell it and I hope to get two to $4000 for it but I doubt it but I should try to I really hope.
