It was a very nice man that knew what he was doing. He was very patient with me too. Good guy. I am very happy with the response. I find it hard to believe that I had to pay $5 to get an answer. I bought this thermostat, fix an hour, have absolute backup from Honeywell. I didn't know a question to get answered would cost $5. No big deal. I got my problem solved from a really nice man.

Our dog quickly went blind and Dr ** was very helpful in giving us insight on what to do to help her, and he suggested giving her baby formula as she has lost her appetite, to help her maintain nutrition and to comfort her as much as possible. He also told us what has possibly occurred, a retinal detachment, it can happen suddenly and there is no known cause..

The person that helped me was very friendly and helpful. It turns out that my issue was a little more complicated than just diagnosing over the phone so he referred me to some local mechanics. He also gave me advice to make sure that they have all the diagnostic tools needed for European car, so I know what question to ask when I call.

We had a question about pool overflow drain pipe siphoning water from canal if both pool and canal are full from excess hurricane water. I was worried about the "carburetor effect" from the flow of the canal. The pool expert said it most likely would not. We are going to take his advice. He seemed confident and knowledgeable.

Blake helped to diagnose issue. I will recommend Just Answer to everyone. F150 with P0430 code. Hopefully, replacing the converter as suggested resolves the issue. I have used Just Answer successfully in the past and will continue to. Blake was awesome. Truck still drives well. It has almost 300K miles and still running strong.

Great insight and knowledge. Was given the diagram requested and also was asked to check EFI 2 fuse. After replacing MAF sensor problem still was there, checked fuse and it was for sure blown. Replaced & now rpm’s reach above 3K without limiter engaging. Causing something like a limp mode. Car is a work in progress. I now have no response on my O2 sensors.

Cat having trouble peeing, asking if it was critical to cat's health. Doctor suggested antiflamatories and making an appointment with veterinarian office. He explained what the issues could be and the rarity in female cats. Sent information about what it seems to be. Took cat to veterinarian and she is doing much better. I connected with Charles, a general contractor, after we had a power outage that locked our automatic gate. Charles was extremely thorough, professional, and exceptionally patient. The first few quick remedies did not work, but his perseverance and deep knowledge of "next steps" solutions resolved the situation perfectly. We saved at least $200 on a service call that would have ended with the technician trying to sell us a completely new control board. This was an extremely satisfying resolution to a fairly complex issue. This is a phenomenal service. I highly recommend it to anyone who can follow instructions and convey their problems clearly.

I have a Gould ITE electrical panel. The replacement GFCI breaker is made by Siemens. I thought I knew exactly what to do but got concerned because the instructions for the new breaker did not address what to do if you have two live wires. I presumed that they should be installed exactly as the old breaker but since this breaker is a replacement, I needed reassurance from an electrician that that is what I should do. Franklin was wonderful and requested photos and advised to put the two hot wires together in the same slot. This is what I thought but to receive confirmation at a reasonable cost was much appreciated. Thank you.

I had issues with my dishwasher. Austin was able to help me troubleshoot the problem down to a bad control board. New dishwasher time but at least I'm SURE of the new issue and can comfortably decide whether I should buy a new one or repair the old one. He knew the estimated cost of the new control board and the part number as well.

Engine dies at wot. It only dies at high rpm. He said computer has a safety that shuts high pressure pump down when draws too many amps. With that piece of information I'm sure he is right with high pressure pump being bad. He seemed very knowable and friendly. Thanks.

I did not appreciate being told it would be $5 and yet Apple Pay showed $33. You should be honest up front. However the expert did what they could to help me and I appreciate their response. Would I use the service again, maybe but not before figuring out why I was charged more than specified.

I was assisted by a vet for my dog's issue. He swallowed a vitamin D pill and I wanted to check if this was toxic to the dog or if I needed to do anything special. I had my answer from Dr. ** in 5 min. My doubts were cleared, luckily my dog seems to be fine.

I came home to find that my dog ate 800 mg of ** and my vet closes early on Wednesday for surgery. Luckily found this site on a rapid Google search and was so please to speak with Dr ** in regards to this situation, the call was almost instantaneous and she was outstanding!!! I stated that I had unplugged the system several times and that its powers up and the blue brewing light comes on each and every time, but not the red heating light. Interesting experience, Charles was fast and on point. Problem not resolved until we get the water line checked. The fridge is built in with cabinet so no access to line without a professional. Got directions as needed and a referral to a technician that could assist with my quest. I had misplaced my sky miles number and I needed to retrieve it for a pending flight. HVAC technician gave instructions to relight pilot. Was on the phone less than 15 minutes and the water heater was relight and working again. Was very comfortable with the answers given, though a chat is not always ideal for communication as it takes time to convey your message. I would recommend taking a call instead. The person I spoke with could not help me solve my problem but gave me a telephone number that took me to an actual person that did help me. Having problems with refrigerator and was able to get questions answered. The person handling the call was polite, and knowledgeable. We will definitely use this number again if we need. Dr Z was able to address my concerns regarding one of my cats maybe licking an Easter Lily leaf last Saturday April 19th in a timely manner. I asked a ton of questions and she answered them and even followed up with additional information to my questions. She also reassured me that my cat most likely should be okay and provided reasoning as to why. She mentioned that I would have most likely seen any issues within the 12-24 hour time frame, but said it’s always okay to be over cautious and mentioned I could follow up with our own vet and request some blood work.

The neurosurgeon I spoke with was very kind, patient and intelligent. He talked things out with me, helping me understand my symptoms and make the appropriate decision on what to do. He answered all my questions thoroughly. Apparently when the internet says cauda equina causes urinary dribbling, that means constant incontinent dribbling, not dribbling in the toilet. And, it is best to get your MRI before taking any steroids or getting any steroid injections so that you get a better picture of what is wrong before treating it.

My VicoHome bird feeder was not accepting a full charge. Mitchell asked me questions regarding the make and model of my feeder, as well as what charger and adapter I was using to charge it with. He determined that there was only one model of Vicohome feeder, and with the age I estimated it to be, that perhaps it was a problem with the rechargeable battery. Coffee maker wouldn’t work as long as the button remained stuck. There’s three buttons to select the amount of coffee (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz), the 8 oz button was stuck pushed all the way in. The Dr. was prompt and very knowledgeable about the affects and symptoms that could occur from chewing the mouse bait container. I felt very confident that my dog would be alright after our discussion. The Dr. explained how the poison could cause problems with the kidneys and other organs. After taking meds for a month that my local vet prescribed and said to continue my cat got diarrhea and I was advised after talking to my local vet to just continue meds. Dr ** was able to advise me on helping my cats diarrhea and to advise me to contact my local vet if the diarrhea continued and didn't get better by the 3rd day. I have more confidence in her than my local veterinary service.

I lost the key to my 2007 Mazda 3. Did I mention it’s the only key? The place we live is getting the whole driveway area paved tomorrow and I needed to be able to move my car with no key. Problem with the control of a zone in a radiant floor heat/cool system. Zone providing heat/cool when there is no call for heat or cooling. Zone valve actuator appears to be malfunctioning and actuator stays open regardless of whether there is a call for heat or cool. I believe the correct course of action has been indicated by the expert I was working with.

The reason for the 3 star is that you are not told upfront about a monthly subscription fee. It appears that there is a $5 charge then you suddenly get $52 charge. Don't have anything else to say. Make the subscription charge known in your initial information. Then people have a decision to make before you proceed any further. The technician was fine.

They get an additional star because the lawyer who first responded seems capable and gracious, even though he contacted me via chat when I stated during the registration process yesterday I wanted email or phone between 9-5. We have yet to continue the conversation via computer text because I got his chat only late last night. I called Customer Service ("CS") because the VERIFY button in the email to me didn't work (error message) nor did the FAQs on the web page (I wanted to ask if my $55/month gave me a limited amount of questions) -- see photo below for one of the error, with JustAnswer in the address line.
CS was very unclear and almost nasty and said, e.g., it was not their job to even report the non-working features of the website (which forced me to call them!). It turns out you have to tell them again your communication preferences and then ONLY AT THAT POINT will they make the Expert team aware of it; likewise with having your online chats PRIVATE; by default they are PUBLIC and you have no control in the online interface (unlike sites like Facebook) to make chats PRIVATE. I will continue with a trial and see how they Experts are, only because there are a lot of good reviews, and I'll repost or edit this with a PS once I see.

Samsung TV sound was fixed, it works now. But I was a little surprised at the cost. It cost $66 for a monthly subscription. But I'm not interested in a monthly subscription. I just wanted to get the sound volume to go up or down, depending on the situation. But the way that I look at it paying JustAnswer was a lot less expensive than having a TV technician make a house call. I’ll use just answer again, if the need arises. I'll gladly pay the "monthly" fee on a one-time basis instead of paying a monthly maintenance fee.

Called to speak to an atty on the web to get an answer if we could sue for covid19 medical injuries. Spoke to a supposed atty named Seth, who stated there was nothing I could do because of time constraints. This is the same free info from going to Google online. The next thing I know a day later I have a 65.00 charge pending. Dishonest and fraud. Do not deal with these liars. I put in for a dispute with my bank. NO RECEIPT WAS SENT OR MENTIONED.

First There was no explanation of the process steps involved. There was no explanation of time involved. I was put on hold for over 20 minutes. I tried to ask for a call back but -no. Then asked for a $5 fee but when I went to pay it showed $60.!! Which I paid. But the real problem was--I didn't get more information/answer that I got out of Google. I was told I would be able to have a conversation and get help with my medical condition that my insurance wouldn't cover. Instead, before I even spoke to a "doctor" I got a notification from my Chase credit card that I had been charged $47!!! And it would be a monthly charge! This doctor has no authority to even write a prescription. It's a complete scam. I'm a 65 y/o disabled woman who just got taken advantage of. I'll be contacting Chase in the morning to inform them of this.

I was referred by Android Auto regarding a problem with connecting. I signed up for Just Answer. They said Orlanzo would call me. I then got a phone call from just answer. The call started by saying that the call may be monitored. It then went dead. Then I got a noted saying the call was completed in 35 seconds but it was dead air. No one has called me back or responded to my messages.

They tell you it will cost $5 for advice. They send a link to pay and then charge $5 and then $55. You then discover the $55 is a monthly recurring charge. None of this is disclosed upfront. They act innocent when you remind them this is highly unethical and possibly illegal.

Since I was unable to call my PCP I needed an answer as to how much I should increase my dose for my elevated TSH. Although I kept losing contact with the doctor eventually I received the answer I needed. The doctor was very prompt and professional with his answer. I was in Costa Rica and my PCP in the USA. I knew it would be some time until I could contact him. I was very grateful for this service.

I was trying to talk to Microsoft but a JustAnswer.com ad must’ve popped up..I thought I was being charged $1.99 for an account, but was actually charged $49 by JustAnswer…I tried to communicate via live chat.. but they kept sending me to a specialist..I immediately backed out… but got an immediate phone call from some expert.. I did not answer… So I tried to talk to a “live agent” who kept asking what my question was..I Demanded a refund…The supposed live agent brought up a page to enter my credit card…AGAIN, then again…So I called, and got a wonderful Woman who understood and issued me a refund..
I have read/heard their service is great..However, their ad must’ve popped up while I was trying to contact Microsoft online…So if this happens to you…CALL, don’t try to chat because they automatically assign a person… where they said, when I called that I talked with a Specialist..I did NOT…. But this wonderful Lady got me a refund..I’m sure they're a great service..But I can’t afford $49…So I am actually rating their after hours team FlexFactor… They did well.. but I was frustrated.

Richard seemed very focused on getting my father's tv up and running but did not get it working. He doesn't know it didn't work because the end of the call was Richard telling me (in chat) that it would start working in 10 or 15 minutes. He was very confident that was the case so we hung up. It never worked. I will be heading back over to try and get his TV working but I was disappointed becasue we spend a long time trying to make the new tv sync with the cable tv box.

I spoke with Josh **, mechanic. He was really, really helpful in solving my problem with my 1994 Volvo airbag issue. I would highly recommend this site AND this mechanic, when/if he's available. I was asked to pay $5. I thought it’s just a one time payment but after I filled in my credit card details I was charged $68.14!! Which was a shocker to me as I wasn’t informed about it. I wouldn’t have taken the service if I knew about the actual cost. Can someone please refund the amount and cancel the membership as it is paid out of my credit card and I already have credit balance overdue. I am grateful for the advice but I wish I was at least told about the other fees so I could have made my own decision about allowing for them. And I was definitely not ready to pay $68.14 cad

I have not received an answer back from Andrew and so the problem of my Nest not being hooked up to the WiFi still exists and I've wasted the morning trying to get the issued resolved. The people I spoke to could not tell me why it was not delivered. Also I was asked to pay $1.oo. Today I had an email saying I would be charged $55.00 for some service I did not request. Large font upon startup, could not get it reduced. Technician didn't offer any other alternatives to get the font reduced. Told me to take it to a repair place. Very disappointed with the response. Not sure why additional help could not have been provided. No special commands were given to try to fix besides using the Control and Minus button.

This was a complete rip off/scam. After asking to talk on the phone with someone I was only allowed to text. It is obvious he is not a lawyer just a call center guy with a line to read. He didn't get my info right and all he could tell me is I need to talk/hire a lawyer for $55.00.

First of all, you can only deal with a robot. Then the wait is long. Nobody tells you the ultimate price for this "service" is $55. And then you get a cryptic email from a "professional" telling you your question is being reviewed and you will receive some sort of response sometime in the future. Everything is vague and certainly not something you can base a plan of action upon. Overall, a true waste of time.

Do NOT use this site or company. They did not help me. They ended up telling me to call the company that I bought the item from. They could not find any helpful information. They charge a 5 dollar "refundable" fee that is not refunded and what they also don't tell you is that they charge a 55 dollar membership fee. It is not mentioned until you pay the 5 dollar fee. And SURPRISE you get an email stating that you have a membership you did not know or informed of PRIOR to the charge. They have a NO REFUND POLICY so if you cancel that membership immediately, you will still NOT GET YOU MONEY BACK!!! Do not use this site. I told everybody about this company and 8 of my friends had run across this site and did not use it. Thank God they were warned ahead of time. This is a scam site!!!

I called them and it was a two hour wait so I left my NUmber for a return call and never received a call from them. I found my charge card had a fraudulent charge of $37.00 that was to be $1.00. A charge for nothing. I have informed my charge card of this fraud.

Recently I needed to exchange my iPad due to a fractured screen. While I was in that store, I asked five different reps to assure me I would have insurance on my new exchange. We didn't get to the bottom of exactly what is going on with my black Lab, but vet was very patient and helped clarify a lot. She gave great things to check and follow up on as well as suggestions on to deal with his current situation. I subscribe to Just Answer and don't use it a lot, but when we need it, it is great to have!

I originally thought it would be a big sales pitch when I received the call back from Legal. It wasn’t. It was precise, fast, accurate and on point. I almost felt like the attorney was a friend. The attorney spoke to me great respect that did not feel they were condescending at all.

A scammer calling himself Michael ** from Arizona, claiming to be a US Army Major General deployed to Syria, contacted me through LinkedIn. Then he contacted me through WhatsApp. He tried to steal my ID by saying he would send me cash so, needed my full name, address and a copy of my driver's license because he was scared of losing his cash. The story was very fishy and a red flag. No deployed soldier would carry thousands of dollars in cash to a combat zone and send it to a stranger like me. He also said he was a Major General in D-Boy. But there are no Major Generals in Delta. So I contacted Just Answer to confirm to get legal help to how to handle this matter.
William D quickly looked into his background and said that there is no Major General with that name in the Army and the current war in Syria is not big enough for a Major General to be deployed, so he is definitely a scammer. I am very grateful for William JD's prompt communication with me and his immediate, clear and precise legal help for me. Thank you.

The runt of a litter of 10 was failing to latch on and had low weight gain and low activity. We had done everything we learned from research and we’re concerned about bottle feeding but had no choice. We live remote so running to a vet is not feasible and no vet would home visit. We found we were doing all the right things and to order a prepared formula but the one we used was good in this emergency situation. We did a few unconventional things but it was good to know it was right!

My 2.5 year old dog started attacking my 13 year old dog, out of the blue. When it didn’t stop but instead escalated after a few days, I was in a panic, especially after scouring the internet where the forums all said my dogs were doomed to hate each other forever, my youngest would probably just get more aggressive with age, and I could either crate and rotate or rehome her, or that my eldest was likely severely ill and needed to be checked. I was distraught and couldn’t sleep, and didn’t want to wait for my vet appointment later in the week, so I went to JustAnswer. I was matched with a behaviorist who asked a bunch of questions to understand my dogs and their environment, and gave me clear instructions for several things I could do to help. She also eased my mind by talking with me about multiple things that could be the root cause and what to do.

I wish I had asked for help earlier, but instead I was pulling thread off bobbins one after another because none of them would work in my machine, finally I stopped and thought this is nuts, I've never had a issue with any bobbins, why would they all be messed up. I texted Bernina Jeff and stated my problem, they put me in touch with the experts and my problem was solved in maybe 10 minutes. Next time I'll go there quicker. I'm renting this apartment, and ever since I moved in the Roku TV has been way too dark to see unless all the lights are off. Wanted to see if it was something I could fixed. The tech guy basically said I did all the right things checking the right settings, checking for updates, restarting, etc, but that there must be an LED issue with the TV, that he found out is 12 years old. He was very quick and knowledgeable, and offered links to help me repair my TV. Unfortunately, since I do not own the TV, I will not be investing any money to replace or repair, but I will let the landlord know.

The online Vet gave good advice, in the evening after our regular doc office had closed; I was reassured that my cat did not have an emergency but does need an in-person exam and care within a couple days. The mechanic was wonderful in every way. Personable and knowledgeable. I could write a book on this guy. He is just too good to be true. He found out that I just had to enter my license plate number without any spaces. And he was quick about it. (Maybe you could get in touch with them and ask them to put that in their directions). That would be a very nice thing to do. Just Answer would be helping a lot more people.

I asked my question and Charlie could not answer. She kept apologizing but still no results. They Transferred me to another attorney and I repeated the question and he could not answer. They also tried charging my credit card 3 times so I turned it into my credit card companies as fraud.
